- 0:00Speaker 1: Unhinged relationship hacks. Kyle just gave us a little heads
- 0:04Speaker 1: up on that. But also, since it is the Halloween season,
- 0:07Speaker 1: spooky season, we also, from yesterday's show, irrational fears. Kristen,
- 0:12Speaker 1: you have an irrational fear?
- 0:14Speaker 2: I do have an irrational fear. I'm terrified of mice.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Oh, my mom was just like that.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Yeah, me too.
- 0:20Speaker 1: My mom was crazy like that. Like how, like, I mean.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Yeah, like.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Like I'm brutally terrified of mice. Like I will push
- 0:27Speaker 2: my kids down in front of me, sacrifice them.
- 0:30Speaker 5: Like I, I am so scared.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm so scared of them. It's not even like legitimately
- 0:36Speaker 2: terrified of mice.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I know exactly what you're talking about. My mom was
- 0:39Speaker 1: a level 100. Like, I remember one time I thought
- 0:41Speaker 1: it was so funny that she was scared of mice.
- 0:42Speaker 1: So I took a, you know those, they're like nylons.
- 0:46Speaker 1: They're not pantyhose, but they're like socks, but they're not pantyhose.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I took one. My mom would take them off and
- 0:50Speaker 1: be rolled up. I took one up and I rolled a,
- 0:52Speaker 1: I took a threading, like sewing string and I wrapped
- 0:55Speaker 1: it around this little thing and I put it in
- 0:57Speaker 1: a big trash can in the kitchen and I hid.
- 1:00Speaker 1: And when she walked by the kitchen, I pulled the
- 1:02Speaker 1: string and it made a little like that noise. And
- 1:04Speaker 1: she thought it was a mouse and she screamed and
- 1:06Speaker 1: fell and broke her arm. Oh, no.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Tell me you felt guilty.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I did feel guilty, but it was also hilarious.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't. Even if I think it's a mouse,
- 1:21Speaker 2: I will jump really hard. I've got back problems, so
- 1:25Speaker 2: if I'm jumping, I'm hurting myself pretty bad.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I think they're cute. Terrifying.
- 1:32Speaker 4: We had a couple texts on yesterday. Someone said that
- 1:34Speaker 4: they have their rational fears. They're afraid of cotton.
- 1:37Speaker 3: What?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Cotton? Oh, the texture.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I get that, though.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Yeah, cotton was one.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I've heard that, especially in pill bottles. You know,
- 1:44Speaker 4: when you have to reach past the cotton to get
- 1:46Speaker 4: to the pill.
- 1:47Speaker 1: This person said their irrational fear is hopping insects, grasshoppers,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and crickets. Crickets just gross me out.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Well, Kristen, thanks for calling in.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Thank you guys so much. You guys are awesome. I
- 1:58Speaker 2: listen to you all the time.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Thanks.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Have a great day. Amanda. Good morning.
- 2:04Speaker 6: Hey.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Hey.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 2:05Speaker 4: How are you guys?
- 2:06Speaker 7: Great.
- 2:07Speaker 4: How are you?
- 2:08Speaker 5: I'm good. Hey, Rich, I'd like to know a little
- 2:10Speaker 5: bit first. What kind of medicine do you have nowadays
- 2:14Speaker 5: that has cotton balls in it? That's from chicken pox
- 2:16Speaker 5: back in the 80s, right?
- 2:17Speaker 4: Well, I think all the vitamins that you get have
- 2:19Speaker 4: that little cotton that you have to reach down past
- 2:22Speaker 4: when you pop open a bottle of Trader Joe's vitamin C. Fair, fair.
- 2:28Speaker 4: I won't make fun of you.
- 2:28Speaker 5: That's fine. But anyway, I was wondering if I wanted
- 2:32Speaker 5: to see about Kyle because you glazed over that whole–
- 2:35Speaker 5: Evil ghost story, Carly. I need a little bit more
- 2:37Speaker 5: info because I'm totally into that stuff.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 2:40Speaker 1: What was the setup for that?
- 2:41Speaker 8: I don't know if I glazed over it because we
- 2:43Speaker 8: were talking about how maybe we wanted to hear people's
- 2:45Speaker 8: ghost stories.
- 2:46Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 2:47Speaker 5: You said you had an evil ghost.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Right, but I had said that there was a survey
- 2:51Speaker 1: that says most people think ghosts are happy, friendly ghosts.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And then some are evil. And then Kyle goes, well,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I've had both. That was it. That was yesterday. Okay.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 1: What is your evil ghost story, Kyle Unfug? I'll just
- 3:02Speaker 1: tell you one of them.
- 3:04Speaker 7: Really?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 8: So this one was the most recent one and it's wild.
- 3:12Speaker 8: So my son, he would have like these bad nightmares
- 3:16Speaker 8: and he didn't want to sleep in his room anymore.
- 3:17Speaker 8: And I'm like, you know what? I'm just going to
- 3:19Speaker 8: go sleep in his room. I'm just going to see like,
- 3:21Speaker 8: you know, maybe that'll calm him down, make him more
- 3:23Speaker 8: comfortable to sleep in there. So he was in his
- 3:25Speaker 8: bed and I was on the rocking chair that I
- 3:28Speaker 8: used to rock him to sleep when he was a
- 3:29Speaker 8: baby on. And I'm kind of curled up in a
- 3:31Speaker 8: really uncomfortable position in it.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And I'm sleeping. But then.
- 3:36Speaker 8: I'm either still sleeping or I feel like I wake
- 3:39Speaker 8: up and I look into his bathroom and all of
- 3:42Speaker 8: a sudden I see this like really dark figure come
- 3:45Speaker 8: and it lunges at me and picks me up and
- 3:48Speaker 8: like drags me on the ceiling and then throws me down.
- 3:52Speaker 3: What?
- 3:53Speaker 8: I wasn't actually awake, but I'm like, now I know
- 3:56Speaker 8: why he doesn't want to sleep in that room.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And he hasn't slept in that room since then. Wait
- 4:01Speaker 1: a second.
- 4:01Speaker 8: It felt so real.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Oh, it was a dream. It was like you're on
- 4:05Speaker 1: the rocking chair and you're like.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Did he ever say he saw a black figure too?
- 4:11Speaker 3: No.
- 4:12Speaker 8: But he was just very scared. Well, technically he did
- 4:16Speaker 8: say there's something in his bathroom. So maybe he did,
- 4:19Speaker 8: but he didn't know how to describe it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: All right. Well, that's pretty bad.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 3: So, yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Is that your bathroom now?
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's still his bathroom. I mean, we still live in
- 4:28Speaker 1: the same house. Still got to brush your teeth. He
- 4:30Speaker 1: doesn't sleep in there anymore.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Yeah, you gotta sage that.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And he actually brushes his teeth in our bathroom.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Really?
- 4:34Speaker 4: Do you think sage is going to stop a black
- 4:37Speaker 4: figure that can throw you on the ceiling and slap
- 4:39Speaker 4: you down?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Oh, dark figure.
- 4:40Speaker 5: No, no, but I thought it sounded good.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 8: I know a lot of people say the sage, I,
- 4:46Speaker 8: we have prayed over the room and, and a whole,
- 4:48Speaker 8: whole bunch of stuff, but it was definitely an experience
- 4:51Speaker 8: that felt so real. And like the evil presence was
- 4:55Speaker 8: very obvious in there that like, I'm like, okay, I
- 4:58Speaker 8: get it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You don't have to sleep. You need to have another
- 5:01Speaker 1: experience there and see if you have it again.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And then you need to do one round. I talked
- 5:06Speaker 1: to that.
- 5:06Speaker 4: We talked to that Wendy, the witch, and I had
- 5:07Speaker 4: her on the late night show that I host sometimes.
- 5:10Speaker 4: And she says that you need to go to, and
- 5:12Speaker 4: I thought this was crazy. She said, Look up a
- 5:14Speaker 4: witch store and just go by a witch store and
- 5:17Speaker 4: they will give you like railroad spikes to protect. You
- 5:20Speaker 4: put it around that area in the ghost or the
- 5:22Speaker 4: entities can't get through. And I thought, first of all,
- 5:25Speaker 4: that's crazy that she said there's a witch store near me.
- 5:28Speaker 4: But I did Google it and there's like three of
- 5:29Speaker 4: them in Mesa.
- 5:31Speaker 8: But also like railroad spikes don't really feel safe for
- 5:34Speaker 8: a kid's room.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Oh, well, does a dark figure that throws you on
- 5:39Speaker 4: the ceiling feel safe? Do the horseshoe in front of
- 5:42Speaker 4: the door. Doesn't that bring you good luck? Maybe it'll
- 5:44Speaker 4: get rid of the dark figure.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'd try it all. There's a lot of things I
- 5:47Speaker 1: would do. I would try it all. Well, thank you
- 5:49Speaker 1: for bringing that up, Amanda. I'm glad we got that answer.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Have a great day.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Yeah, you too.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Thanks, guys.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Whitney, you have an irrational fear?
- 5:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 6:00Speaker 1: What is it?
- 6:00Speaker 5: It is bees.
- 6:01Speaker 6: I am so scared of bees. Like it's irrational. I
- 6:05Speaker 6: am so scared. I think about it every single time
- 6:07Speaker 6: I step foot outside. I have like an outdoor cat now.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 6:12Speaker 6: It just started coming to my house. I'm almost too
- 6:14Speaker 6: scared to feed it sometimes because I'm like, I know
- 6:17Speaker 6: that there's bees out there. I get scared going to
- 6:20Speaker 6: the trash can, putting my baby in the car, like everything.
- 6:25Speaker 6: As long as I'm outside, and I've never even been
- 6:28Speaker 6: stung by a bee. That's the dumb thing. Never even
- 6:30Speaker 6: been stung by bees. So I don't even know if
- 6:32Speaker 6: it hurts or not.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's not like if you see the bee, you're just
- 6:35Speaker 1: always worried about bees.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I really am. I'm always worried about bees. And
- 6:41Speaker 6: if I do see it, then yeah, I'm like pure panic.
- 6:44Speaker 6: And I don't know what to do.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Do you feel like if you watched Bee Movie, it
- 6:48Speaker 1: might help? Because they're very friendly. They're very important. That's
- 6:51Speaker 1: the wasp you got to look out for. Wasps are jerks.
- 6:53Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what my husband says. You have to watch
- 6:56Speaker 6: out for the wasps, not the bees. But I have
- 6:58Speaker 6: watched the B movie because I'm a mom of three girls.
- 7:02Speaker 6: But no, I.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Still don't think they're the funniest guys out.
- 7:07Speaker 1: There.
- 7:08Speaker 6: I want to like them, but I don't know if
- 7:09Speaker 6: I can. I think they're cute. They're fuzzy and cute
- 7:12Speaker 6: and they have a cute little fuzzy butt. But no.
- 7:14Speaker 3: No.
- 7:15Speaker 4: If you went to a haunted house and there was, like,
- 7:17Speaker 4: a swarm, that would be kind of just nut house,
- 7:20Speaker 4: wouldn't it?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 4: We would get you.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Whitney would be done.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh. Yeah, you guys absolutely would.
- 7:25Speaker 7: I haven't thought about it.
- 7:27Speaker 4: It's so scary to me.
- 7:27Speaker 1: How would they do that?
- 7:28Speaker 4: They're like little tiny drones or something.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Expensive prank. Yeah, I know, but you would really get Whitney.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Just use real bees.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Get it.
- 7:36Speaker 1: All right. Thanks, Whitney. Thanks. Thanks, guys. Have a great day.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You too. Will, what's your irrational fear?
- 7:43Speaker 9: Guys, let me tell you, glitter. I cannot stand glitter.
- 7:47Speaker 9: I like avoided it at all costs. My nieces, my
- 7:52Speaker 9: sister has twins and she buys them everything with glitter
- 7:55Speaker 9: on it. And I refuse to hug them and anything.
- 7:59Speaker 9: I just give them a bop on the head.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I thought you meant the movie with Mariah Carey.
- 8:04Speaker 9: Yeah, that too. No, but glitter, it freaks me out.
- 8:08Speaker 9: I see it on everything. I see it everywhere, and
- 8:10Speaker 9: it just, like, I start itching.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You'll never get it out, either. I won't go to
- 8:13Speaker 1: strip joints. Too much glitter.
- 8:16Speaker 7: Oh, that's the worst, when girls have glitter.
- 8:18Speaker 1: In their lotions. Oh, I love that. I think that's
- 8:20Speaker 1: the best. Oh.
- 8:22Speaker 9: No, keep your shimmer over there.
- 8:23Speaker 1: All right, thanks, Will.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 8:26Speaker 7: All right, no problem.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Michael, good morning. What's your rational fear? Cotton balls and Q-tips. Yeah,
- 8:33Speaker 1: cotton balls. There it is.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah. What is it about the cotton balls?
- 8:36Speaker 1: I ain't got a clue.
- 8:38Speaker 9: I went to the doctors one day, and I asked
- 8:41Speaker 9: them to use something different.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Other than that, he's like, this is what I got
- 8:44Speaker 1: and put it in my wound, and I punched him out.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Punched him out? What kind of wound did you have,
- 8:50Speaker 1: by the way? What was the wound? I asked him nicely.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Can't do that. Yeah, what did you get cut by?
- 8:56Speaker 4: You should be afraid of that.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Mailbox. Of course.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Sure.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We started off talking about unhinged relationship hacks and Janie,
- 9:11Speaker 1: thanks for holding. You have an unhinged, a relationship hack
- 9:14Speaker 1: that's like, that works though, right?
- 9:17Speaker 5: Yes, it works really well.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:18Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 9:21Speaker 5: So my husband and I, you guys have talked about
- 9:22Speaker 5: this a lot on the show. You're a sleep divorce.
- 9:24Speaker 7: So we're sleep divorced.
- 9:25Speaker 5: So we sleep in separate rooms. But in the morning,
- 9:28Speaker 5: when I want sexy time, I sneak into his room
- 9:31Speaker 5: and wake him up with special, you know, events. And
- 9:34Speaker 5: then we have our special sexy time in the morning,
- 9:37Speaker 5: and that keeps our relationship fresh and happy.
- 9:39Speaker 7: How exciting.
- 9:40Speaker 1: What's a special event? I think you know.
- 9:43Speaker 4: I think you know.
- 9:44Speaker 1: The Olympics? Oh, like he's sleeping and you're waking him
- 9:48Speaker 1: up with this special event.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Special event.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Oh.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Oh, how exciting.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Okay. Yeah, I'm sure he's as happy as he could
- 9:55Speaker 7: possibly be.
- 9:55Speaker 5: So, if a divorce sounds bad, you know, theoretically, if
- 9:58Speaker 5: a divorce sounds not sexy, but it's actually even better than.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Does he ever go in and wake you up for
- 10:03Speaker 1: sexy time?
- 10:05Speaker 3: No.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Is that something you mostly like, sexy time in the morning?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Yes, definitely.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You know, I went to dinner with my neighbors, and
- 10:15Speaker 1: they're a great couple, and they were telling me that
- 10:18Speaker 1: The wife also wants sexy time in the morning. That's
- 10:20Speaker 1: the only time she wants sexy time in the morning.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And they have a whole routine where she will want
- 10:24Speaker 1: sexy time in the morning. Then he goes and takes
- 10:26Speaker 1: one of those pills, like a sexy time pill for
- 10:29Speaker 1: a guy. And then she'll go walk the dog around
- 10:31Speaker 1: the block. And when she comes back, the pill is
- 10:33Speaker 1: kicked in. It's time. They're ready to go. Well, good
- 10:36Speaker 1: for them. They're ready to go. And I was like,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and then he gave me one of these pills and
- 10:39Speaker 1: I was terrified to take it. I still haven't taken
- 10:41Speaker 1: it because I don't think Blake wants sexy time ever.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Not in the morning. Special time, special time. Well, thank you, Janie.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Thanks for listening.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Have a good day.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Great. Oh, more irrational fears. Jessica, what's your irrational fear?
- 10:57Speaker 10: I have a really good one. I have an irrational
- 11:03Speaker 10: fear of like butterflies and caterpillars.
- 11:06Speaker 1: They're so cute. I like them both.
- 11:10Speaker 10: Uh, they always swore me. And I remember going to
- 11:15Speaker 10: like Victoria, Canada, uh, and we went to like this butterfly,
- 11:18Speaker 10: like Emporium. And my dad is six three and I
- 11:22Speaker 10: was on his shoulders and all the butterflies swarmed me.
- 11:26Speaker 10: And then in kindergarten as well. Um, we were raising
- 11:30Speaker 10: butterflies and all the butterflies flew out of the enclosure
- 11:33Speaker 10: and then came straight to me.
- 11:39Speaker 1: That sounds horrifying.
- 11:40Speaker 8: I feel like there's something special about you, Jessica.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Like, why would they come? Good point. Good point. Because
- 11:46Speaker 1: butterflies are beautiful. I'm sure there's a positive. Or it
- 11:49Speaker 1: means something in the spiritual world.
- 11:50Speaker 4: They think she's a witch trying to get rid of her.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Not butterflies.
- 11:53Speaker 7: I mean, who knows?
- 11:57Speaker 1: You only hear about toads and newts in the witch world.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You don't hear about butterflies. Butterflies are meditation, happiness. Well, Jessica,
- 12:08Speaker 1: thanks for calling in.
- 12:08Speaker 3: No, thank you.
- 12:11Speaker 1: We're going to play Minute to Win It. We need
- 12:15Speaker 1: a contestant.
- 12:15Speaker 3: 877-937-1047.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Speaking of butterflies, my wife and I were hiking the
- 12:18Speaker 1: other day and on.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Her sweater there was a a caterpillar on a sweater.
- 12:24Speaker 1: She's like, what's this? And I was like, a caterpillar.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And then she like freaked out and shook it off
- 12:29Speaker 1: and it fell to the ground. It felt so bad
- 12:31Speaker 1: for the caterpillar.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Actually, if you read, always throws me off when you
- 12:35Speaker 4: spell out caterpillar, it's caterpillar.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Caterpillar. I don't know why. What is it cater? Spell
- 12:42Speaker 1: it out. C-A-T is cat.
- 12:43Speaker 4: C-A-T-E-R.
- 12:44Speaker 1: C-A-T-E-R. Cater, yeah, okay.
- 12:46Speaker 6: Pillar.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Pillar.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So, like, you took out C-A-T-E-R. What else? Cater. If
- 12:55Speaker 1: you put an M there, it's mater. That's why they're
- 12:57Speaker 1: so scary. If you put an L there, it's later.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It's not.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, touche.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Cater.
- 13:04Speaker 1: So, oh, man, that's a caterpillar. Anyway, we're going to
- 13:09Speaker 1: play minute 20. Last night, I have to, I almost
- 13:13Speaker 1: want to make a video on this. I'm watching the
- 13:15Speaker 1: show on Paramount Plus, which shortly will be called Skylark, right?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Because you know that.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Paramount got bought out by Warner Brothers, or the guy,
- 13:22Speaker 4: the billionaire, and they're going to change the name to HB.
- 13:24Speaker 1: All that stuff's going to be called Skylark now. I
- 13:26Speaker 1: think Skylark, right? Skylark? Skydance. Skydance. Skydance. Skydance. Is anyone,
- 13:34Speaker 1: are you watching my online? Yeah, I'm caught up. Did
- 13:36Speaker 1: you watch the episode that came out yesterday?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Oh, yesterday.
- 13:38Speaker 1: No, Friday, I think. So this, well, whatever day it
- 13:40Speaker 1: came out. There's three episodes now. And Kyle, you haven't
- 13:42Speaker 1: watched it yet?
- 13:43Speaker 3: No, I haven't.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It's a great show. It is freaking phenomenal TV. It's
- 13:47Speaker 1: phenomenal TV. I just, I'm watching. I just can't like,
- 13:50Speaker 1: I pause it. What's it even about? It's about this,
- 13:53Speaker 1: the mob in England. But it's with Piers Brosnan and
- 13:57Speaker 1: Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren.
- 13:59Speaker 4: They're all three fantastic. It's just like the acting. I
- 14:01Speaker 4: don't know if they've won any awards or anything, but
- 14:03Speaker 4: it's such a great show. Helen Mirren is just about
- 14:06Speaker 4: as wackadoo as you could be, and she's awesome.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I'm sure she's won Oscars or something. Oh, she has
- 14:11Speaker 1: to have. I don't know much about her, but man.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And she's like in her 80s or something. And she's actually,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe 70s, 80s, but she's so sexy.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I find her completely attractive. It's crazy. She's not the
- 14:23Speaker 1: best grandma on the show. She's a terrible grandma.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Like doing cocaine with her grandkids.
- 14:29Speaker 8: Is that what's attractive to you?
- 14:32Speaker 1: No, just her whole presence.
- 14:33Speaker 4: There's something about her that I find very sexy.
- 14:36Speaker 1: That's another thing we could probably do. Who do you
- 14:37Speaker 1: find sexy that probably isn't sexy? I mean, she's in
- 14:39Speaker 1: her 80s. Sue Ann, good morning.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 14:45Speaker 1: You are our contestant for minute to win it, Sue Ann.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Where are you?
- 14:50Speaker 5: I can win it this time.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Oh, you've played before?
- 14:54Speaker 6: Yes, I work for Dave at Elite Shutters and Blinds.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Oh, Elite Shutters and Blinds. Oh, you played not that
- 14:59Speaker 1: long ago, too.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 15:03Speaker 10: I got one answer right.
- 15:04Speaker 1: All right, well, good luck. Let's hope you do a
- 15:07Speaker 1: little better today.
- 15:08Speaker 8: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 15:11Speaker 8: Peoria Ford right now.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Minute to win it.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Okay, 60 seconds starts as soon as I answer or
- 15:16Speaker 4: ask the first question. You got to get them all
- 15:18Speaker 4: right to win. Here we go. What pop star is
- 15:21Speaker 4: known for his hits, including Blinding Lights?
- 15:26Speaker 7: Oh, The Weeknd.
- 15:27Speaker 1: What U.S.
- 15:27Speaker 4: City is nicknamed the Motor City? Oh, jeez.
- 15:34Speaker 6: I don't know. The Motor City, I have no idea.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Got to take a guess.
- 15:44Speaker 10: Tennessee.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Tennessee is a state, not a city.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Motor City. Where do cars come from? Detroit. Detroit, Motor City.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Sue Ann, you can't play anymore.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Really?
- 15:57Speaker 1: You cannot play anymore.
- 15:59Speaker 6: I can't play anymore?
- 16:00Speaker 1: No.
- 16:00Speaker 8: Oh, Sue Ann.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Why not?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Because you only get one right. You've done it twice.
- 16:06Speaker 7: Dang it.
- 16:09Speaker 4: And so many people want to play a minute to
- 16:10Speaker 4: win it and try to beat the machine. We need
- 16:12Speaker 4: to put your picture next to the phone next to Dylan.
- 16:14Speaker 1: And go, no more. Are you serious?
- 16:19Speaker 9: No.
- 16:20Speaker 1: No, it's fair.
- 16:21Speaker 10: Thanks for sending that.
- 16:24Speaker 6: Last time I played the recording to Dave, he played
- 16:28Speaker 6: it for me. Oh, good.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Good.
- 16:31Speaker 10: Yeah, he thought it was the.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Best thing ever.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Tell Dave my blinds in my kitchen are kind of broken.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I need him to come fix it, please.
- 16:39Speaker 7: I will definitely let him know.
- 16:41Speaker 1: All right, thanks. All right, bye, guys.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Have a great day.
- 16:44Speaker 7: You too.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Bye.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I think my dogs shoot on the string.
- 16:47Speaker 4: That makes sense. They get their head under to see
- 16:50Speaker 4: what's going on. Oh, hey, this is very exciting. This
- 16:53Speaker 4: is very exciting. There's a firefighter we're going to talk to.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I can't wait to read to you, tell you guys
- 17:01Speaker 4: what Noah just found out about this firefighter.
- 17:02Speaker 1: His name is Branson. And I saw this video on
- 17:05Speaker 1: TikTok of Branson. I don't know what happened at GCU,
- 17:08Speaker 1: Grand Canyon University. Branson, the fire truck pulls up and
- 17:12Speaker 1: he gets out. He's doing something. And side note, he's really,
- 17:15Speaker 1: really good looking. And there's like, you know, the police
- 17:18Speaker 1: line do not cross. There's all these girls behind it
- 17:21Speaker 1: and they're screaming how attractive he is. This is a
- 17:25Speaker 1: clip from the video.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Look.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 17:35Speaker 4: It's like a Harry Styles concert. The video's gone viral.
- 17:38Speaker 4: The video's gone viral because he's a really good-looking firefighter.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Now I've heard the Bachelor's looking at him. He's interviewed
- 17:44Speaker 4: at Love Island. He's a really good-looking guy. And I
- 17:45Speaker 4: hear he's a really nice guy. His name's Branson. Branson,
- 17:48Speaker 4: good morning.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Good morning, guys.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Everything I said's true, right?
- 17:52Speaker 7: I played the fifth.
- 17:57Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 17:59Speaker 3: It happened.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Those girls, were those girls not screaming for you?
- 18:03Speaker 4: Yeah, they were.
- 18:04Speaker 3: It was definitely an interesting night.
- 18:09Speaker 1: How do.
- 18:11Speaker 4: You exit a firefighting vehicle looking sexy unless you are
- 18:15Speaker 4: out of control?
- 18:16Speaker 1: That's all you need to be is a firefighter. You
- 18:17Speaker 1: look sexy automatically, Rich. Yeah, I don't know.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I just hopped off the truck and, you know, nothing.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I was just doing a regular call. It was a
- 18:29Speaker 3: fire alarm call. We get a bunch of those at
- 18:32Speaker 3: college universities. So, yeah, it was just kind of like
- 18:35Speaker 3: a normal call. Hopped off, you know, did what we did.
- 18:41Speaker 3: It wasn't anything serious, luckily.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Oh, so everybody was evacuated from the building that you
- 18:46Speaker 4: were walking into when you show up.
- 18:48Speaker 7: There is cheers.
- 18:48Speaker 3: It was like, I think, I want to say it
- 18:50Speaker 3: was like one in the morning. So all these students were,
- 18:54Speaker 3: you know, outside of the apartment. I don't know, hundreds
- 18:59Speaker 3: of them inside. You know, we just woke up. Did
- 19:03Speaker 3: the calls, came back. When I came back, I was
- 19:08Speaker 3: approached with a little.
- 19:10Speaker 1: You heard it.
- 19:11Speaker 3: There was a lot of screaming and roaring at me.
- 19:14Speaker 3: And I just, I didn't know what was going on.
- 19:16Speaker 7: And I, you know, I was kind of embarrassed.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Well, you kind of smile and wave at the girls. Hey,
- 19:22Speaker 1: so since then, the video's gone way viral, right? And
- 19:25Speaker 1: you have interviewed, I guess these reality shows have come
- 19:27Speaker 1: after you, right? A couple of them.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it was just kind of overnight. One of the
- 19:36Speaker 3: students just posted it. And yeah, I've had some opportunities
- 19:43Speaker 3: offered to me.
- 19:44Speaker 7: But yeah, it was a cool little ride.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Are you going to follow up on that? Are you
- 19:48Speaker 1: going to be on The Bachelor? Or Love Island?
- 19:51Speaker 3: It's not entirely up to me. I've interviewed.
- 19:56Speaker 1: There's a lot of.
- 19:59Speaker 3: People that are trying out for the show.
- 20:02Speaker 1: They reached out to me.
- 20:08Speaker 3: I don't know if it's really my jam, but we'll
- 20:11Speaker 3: see where it leads.
- 20:12Speaker 8: Let's just say they said you could have either show,
- 20:16Speaker 8: Love Island or The Bachelor, and you're The Bachelor.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Which one would you pick?
- 20:22Speaker 3: Oh, that's a great question. You know, just for grandma's sake,
- 20:27Speaker 3: I'd probably say the bachelor.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yeah. You're a nice guy. You know what else would
- 20:32Speaker 1: happen too? Is in his sister, I was on his,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I was on his Tik TOK or sister. The sister's
- 20:37Speaker 1: like all these girls would crazy for my brother. He's single.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I want to find him a girlfriend.
- 20:41Speaker 7: Right.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Isn't that what she did too?
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah. She was trying to be my wingman and get
- 20:47Speaker 3: the entire internet to finally find me a girlfriend and
- 20:51Speaker 3: still didn't work.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Are you a Phoenix firefighter or different city?
- 20:57Speaker 7: Yes, I am.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Oh, you are? Hey, you know, my nephew's a Phoenix firefighter.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 21:03Speaker 1: What?
- 21:04Speaker 3: He probably gave me some tough love about that video.
- 21:10Speaker 1: What station are you at?
- 21:13Speaker 3: I'm not at a specific station right now.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It's called a Rover. Oh, he was a Rover. He
- 21:18Speaker 1: just got his own station like a little bit ago.
- 21:20Speaker 1: His name is Patrick Cardenas. You know him? He's got
- 21:22Speaker 1: the big red-haired handlebar mustache.
- 21:25Speaker 7: No, I do not, but that's awesome. Congratulations to him.
- 21:28Speaker 1: You've got to look for him. He's a good guy.
- 21:30Speaker 1: He's a good leader. In fact, if it wasn't for him,
- 21:33Speaker 1: he's the reason that my wife called 911 the other
- 21:34Speaker 1: day when we had a gas problem. Anyway, so Noah
- 21:38Speaker 1: texted me a text. Noah says, I did some research
- 21:40Speaker 1: on Mr. GCU Hottie. He taught himself how to play
- 21:44Speaker 1: piano to impress girls. I found a video of him
- 21:46Speaker 1: playing Adele. Is this true?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Yeah, in high school, I always wanted to learn how
- 21:53Speaker 3: to I have two brothers, and they both know how
- 21:56Speaker 3: to play the piano really well. They got lessons when
- 21:58Speaker 3: they were a kid. And when I, you know, was
- 22:00Speaker 3: a kid, my parents were like, nah, we're not going
- 22:03Speaker 3: to sign him up for lessons. So I always thought
- 22:07Speaker 3: it was, like, really cool and charming when they could play.
- 22:09Speaker 3: And so when I was in high school, I was like,
- 22:11Speaker 3: I want to learn how to play the piano. So
- 22:12Speaker 3: I just hopped on YouTube and, you know, learned little
- 22:16Speaker 3: snippets of songs.
- 22:17Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 22:17Speaker 7: To make it sound like I knew how.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool.
- 22:21Speaker 7: Like I knew how to play.
- 22:22Speaker 3: And.
- 22:23Speaker 7: Every time I was at a party, that was my
- 22:25Speaker 7: little trick. And they were like, oh, play something else.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I'm like, nah, that's okay.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You're like, I just have Adele.
- 22:31Speaker 7: Oh, I know Adele.
- 22:31Speaker 1: That's my only one. That's all I got. Where'd you
- 22:35Speaker 1: go to high school?
- 22:35Speaker 3: Seton Catholic in Chandler.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Oh, I know Seton. Very good. Good Catholic school. I
- 22:41Speaker 1: went to Chandler, so you guys were kind of rivals
- 22:43Speaker 1: for us.
- 22:43Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, right there.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, anyway, good luck to you, man. It's very cool.
- 22:48Speaker 1: We're going to repost the video so everyone can see you.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Oh, that's hilarious.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yeah, so get ready for those DMs, Branson, the sexy firefighter.
- 22:57Speaker 4: Keeping people safe from fires. Thank you for your work.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Thanks, Branson.
- 23:01Speaker 3: No, absolutely.
- 23:02Speaker 7: Thank you, guys. I've been listening to you forever.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Oh, right on. That's very cool. By the way, is
- 23:07Speaker 1: your sister married?
- 23:08Speaker 3: So that's my sister-in-law.
- 23:12Speaker 1: She's married to my brother. Okay. Are your other brothers married?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Your other brother?
- 23:17Speaker 7: He's married and then I have another brother that just got.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Engaged see so you're the only one that's because they
- 23:23Speaker 4: actually play piano.
