- 0:55Speaker 3: a b I've been a little bit thrown I'll be
- 0:57Speaker 3: honest by the opening of the show. You've got you
- 0:58Speaker 3: stumbling over your words. We're gonna those things over here,
- 1:01Speaker 3: Keysy's miss the start. I don't know what's going on,
- 1:02Speaker 3: to be honest with you, I've had a shock it too.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Our mind's on Magic Round.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I do worry that there's an element
- 1:11Speaker 2: of us having left the building, you know what I mean. Certainly,
- 1:15Speaker 2: Pugshan he's given all those wives. I don't know if
- 1:17Speaker 2: you guys feel that way, but definitely feels like let's
- 1:22Speaker 2: just get to Magic Round now. You know what I
- 1:24Speaker 2: mean more sleep too, more sleep. How you going keasy
- 1:28Speaker 2: with your very very very impressive jacket.
- 1:32Speaker 4: For thanks Fella's new jacket. Feeling pretty good about it. Also,
- 1:37Speaker 4: notice the day that I wear a new jacket, Chase
- 1:39Speaker 4: also wears a brand new jacket, And so it's kind
- 1:41Speaker 4: of upstaged my jacket.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It has, it.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Really has.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It is way better.
- 1:46Speaker 4: But one hundred percent my mind is outside of the
- 1:49Speaker 4: radio show right now. It is concentrated solely on Friday,
- 1:54Speaker 4: and I just I'm in this weirdmire of having had
- 1:57Speaker 4: a big weekend and going into a big weekend. I've
- 2:00Speaker 4: written off this entire week as just sort of a
- 2:01Speaker 4: murky gray area of bumbling mistakes and barely keeping it to.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Gear in betwixt and between, aren't you Yeah? In the
- 2:08Speaker 3: rear view mirror is just a haze of debauchery and
- 2:11Speaker 3: drunken You know, it was a disaster, wasn't it? By
- 2:14Speaker 3: all accounts? Coming up over the horizon is the mother
- 2:19Speaker 3: of all disgraces. Magic round Ezy is back. So it's
- 2:24Speaker 3: where Kezy sort of goes. It's your graceland, doesn't it?
- 2:27Speaker 3: And you go to bring great shame on New Zealander's
- 2:30Speaker 3: right across the world by going to that little corner
- 2:32Speaker 3: of Australia.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the one. So I can't wait for it.
- 2:36Speaker 4: They're looking forward to it. It's gonna be great, Jays.
- 2:38Speaker 4: How you go, man, nice jacket.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Thank you man in defensive Keysy, it's gonna make it worse.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I'm on an automatic pilot, Fellows, automatic pilot. At this point,
- 2:49Speaker 2: it's just words coming out. Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I mean, I'm still staring at Maggie and admiring his
- 2:54Speaker 2: stallion of a body, and you know, it's a beautiful
- 2:56Speaker 2: day outside. But I'm on an automatic pilot, right, it's pilot.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Automatic pilot as I call it, for sure, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 3:03Speaker 3: auto pilot for long, but automatic pilot for sure. Yea.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Actually it's my bad, hey, Mogi. Despite all of that,
- 3:10Speaker 2: what's coming up? Mate?
- 3:14Speaker 4: What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi?
- 3:18Speaker 3: An absolute monster of a show on a Wednesday, Fellows.
- 3:20Speaker 3: We'll have comedian Rhys Matthewson into the show later on
- 3:24Speaker 3: to talk about some shows he's got coming up. Also,
- 3:26Speaker 3: another couple of opportunities or an opportunity to get into
- 3:29Speaker 3: the drawer to win yourself as street dog electric motorcycle
- 3:32Speaker 3: and in fact there's two of the barskets. You can
- 3:35Speaker 3: join our gain sons of Hodeki. Keep your ears out
- 3:38Speaker 3: for the qut call later on in the show. And
- 3:40Speaker 3: next up, Oh keezy man, he's fallen on tough times,
- 3:44Speaker 3: have I seem so?
- 3:46Speaker 4: How the mighty have fallen? He's he's going to rent
- 3:48Speaker 4: a house potentially devastated. Right, it's not that big of
- 3:53Speaker 4: a deal, guys. Everything's all get up a new jacket.
- 3:56Speaker 2: There's Velvet Revolver.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That's a big show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Use indeed radio Head there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
- 4:06Speaker 2: Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past
- 4:09Speaker 2: four o'clock.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Feelers come to the realization over the past few days
- 4:14Speaker 4: that I'm probably going to have to start renting a
- 4:18Speaker 4: house soon. So you know, my wife and I we
- 4:21Speaker 4: currently live in our first home, which we brought together
- 4:23Speaker 4: a number of years ago, a little bricontile grannie flat
- 4:27Speaker 4: out in West Auckland. We've done it up. We're selling.
- 4:30Speaker 4: But one thing I've noticed in Auckland, even though the
- 4:32Speaker 4: market right now isn't great for people that are selling
- 4:34Speaker 4: their houses to get into a good one. To get
- 4:37Speaker 4: into one you really like, you have to be there
- 4:39Speaker 4: with money ready to go, unconditional cash stun old money bags,
- 4:43Speaker 4: old money bags. You have to be and we're not.
- 4:44Speaker 4: You know, we have to sell our house first. So
- 4:46Speaker 4: the dilemma we're in is we have to sell our house,
- 4:50Speaker 4: cross our fingers at the right house will come up
- 4:52Speaker 4: and if not, start renting.
- 4:54Speaker 3: For a while.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Yeah, And I'm just a bit worried, you know, because
- 4:56Speaker 4: it took me so long to get away from renting.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I had to say, for bloody, you know, we weren't
- 5:01Speaker 4: going out for dinner and didn't go overseas and all
- 5:03Speaker 4: this sort of stuff.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You only had like two accounts, you were saying at
- 5:06Speaker 2: that time of your life.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Well, actually that's when the accounts started, right, Yes, yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 4: I still remember the day that the accounts started. And I'm
- 5:13Speaker 4: just a bit worried about going back to renting. But
- 5:15Speaker 4: you guys both rent it's fine, like it's all g
- 5:20Speaker 4: you know landlords and that they're all GA.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Well, for me personally, it varies a little bit, you know,
- 5:28Speaker 3: having to ask permission to do things that isn't.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Really Yeah, that would what I like, yeah, to do for.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Example, at the moment, obviously we've got bird shit Chris
- 5:37Speaker 3: living with us. Yes, your cat, and what comes with
- 5:41Speaker 3: that is you've got a cat. Now, we've got a
- 5:43Speaker 3: cat that wants to get in and out of the
- 5:44Speaker 3: house all the time. So we obviously need to put
- 5:46Speaker 3: a cat door in because at the moment I'm having
- 5:48Speaker 3: to wake up in the middle of the night. The
- 5:49Speaker 3: landlord doesn't want to let us have a cat door.
- 5:52Speaker 3: So now I'm in a situation where I'm going to
- 5:54Speaker 3: have to explain to the landlord why there's a cat door.
- 5:57Speaker 4: So you've just got one anyway, Yes, I like that.
- 6:00Speaker 4: The other thing too is you can always get one
- 6:01Speaker 4: and then just put it back to how it was afterwards.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Right, it seems like a lot of worse.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm the opposite end of Mogi. Actually, I'm very excited
- 6:09Speaker 2: for your keysy. You've been a woman's day. Now what's
- 6:12Speaker 2: to do anything? It's time he took a step up
- 6:14Speaker 2: from you know, let's be honest, you're a top radio
- 6:18Speaker 2: DJ and can I can I just put put it
- 6:21Speaker 2: to you, you know, having moved myself and now being
- 6:23Speaker 2: a rent to myself the beauty of the CBD. It's
- 6:28Speaker 2: a life full of excitement. For example, this morning I
- 6:31Speaker 2: woke up there's a guy urinating against the apartment wall.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You don't get that in the suburbs.
- 6:37Speaker 4: No, I don't want that.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And then at about ten thirty this morning, whip please
- 6:43Speaker 2: car boom right outside my window a dude scarpering down
- 6:47Speaker 2: the path into the park. There four cops after him.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Excitement keysy, But.
- 6:51Speaker 4: I don't want that either though.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Then at about eleven o'clock across the road a massive
- 6:58Speaker 2: of an argument between about eight people and they were
- 7:01Speaker 2: going each other. It was magnificent entertainment. Then when I
- 7:06Speaker 2: was walking to work, mate, to come and work with you, backbones,
- 7:10Speaker 2: I stood in a piece of human excrement in Elliott Street.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I mean, that doesn't happen in the suburbs. It only
- 7:16Speaker 2: happens in the CBT.
- 7:18Speaker 3: And what it.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Means is I'm just alive all the time to the
- 7:22Speaker 2: world around me. One guy, there was a guy one day.
- 7:25Speaker 2: There was a guy having a guard himself right upside
- 7:28Speaker 2: my window on the path next to the park. I mean,
- 7:31Speaker 2: you just don't get that in Teata two.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe I just flag the whole house selling thing
- 7:38Speaker 4: and just stay where.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I am for it. Yeah, it sounds like it's for
- 7:40Speaker 3: the best. Man.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't think you're ready.
- 7:42Speaker 3: I mean, if Jason's the window into your future, you're
- 7:44Speaker 3: going to be coming in here every day in a.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Of the mood.
- 7:49Speaker 4: At least I'll get a new jacket and a new
- 7:50Speaker 4: shirt pretty much every day.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. True, you know, i'd flag it, Geezy, Okay,
- 7:57Speaker 2: just stay where you are mate.
- 7:59Speaker 4: How much do you pay a week?
- 8:01Speaker 2: I can't get into the details here, Keezy, but let's
- 8:05Speaker 2: just say it's she ain't cheap for that kind of excitement,
- 8:08Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 8:09Speaker 4: That's really expensive as well. And as a dude going
- 8:11Speaker 4: wheeze on your house. See, I don't know, I don't know.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Keeps you alive? Man?
- 8:19Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodike the
- 8:27Speaker 1: Sons of Hodach. Let's see who wants to ride with
- 8:33Speaker 1: the street Dogs.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yes, indeed. And I've got to say, in all honesty,
- 8:39Speaker 2: these are beautiful bikes. I have never in my life
- 8:43Speaker 2: genuinely had any desire to own a bike. Yeah. I
- 8:47Speaker 2: saw these bastards and was like, these are very cool.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It was the kind of bike you see, Jason, when
- 8:54Speaker 3: you saw them that you seed you'd be proud to
- 8:57Speaker 3: ride back.
- 8:58Speaker 2: John, absolutely, and actually just on that front, I did
- 9:04Speaker 2: the Koala with keys in. He took me for a
- 9:06Speaker 2: little cruise around the neighborhood. It was arousing and so smooth.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Do you know what the Koala is?
- 9:13Speaker 5: Mogi?
- 9:13Speaker 2: I do.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Well for those that don't, it's with some reason. I'm
- 9:17Speaker 4: riding it normally. And Jason instead of hopping on the
- 9:19Speaker 4: back like I sat forward thinking he's gonna hop on
- 9:22Speaker 4: behind me. Yeah, but he was like, move your arm,
- 9:24Speaker 4: keys in and sort of straddled me facing me.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I straddled a Mogi.
- 9:28Speaker 4: At one point he fell asleep.
- 9:30Speaker 2: It was so smooth, though, Wasn't it quite?
- 9:33Speaker 4: It was very, very smooth. The bike we were on
- 9:35Speaker 4: at that time was the street Dog XR. But if
- 9:37Speaker 4: you don't have a motorcycle license, you can get the
- 9:39Speaker 4: street Dog fifty. As long as you got a car license.
- 9:41Speaker 4: You can write that on the road. We've actually got
- 9:43Speaker 4: two to give away, one for the North Island chapter
- 9:46Speaker 4: of our gang and one for the South Island chapter,
- 9:48Speaker 4: and you get to choose which one of those two
- 9:50Speaker 4: bikes you want good stuf.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Let's go to the phone lines, can they Shane? Your
- 9:53Speaker 2: mad bastard? Ho was life? How are you? Yeah?
- 9:57Speaker 3: Good?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Thanks mate?
- 9:58Speaker 3: Good dad?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Tell me, Shane, what do you do for a crust? Well,
- 10:02Speaker 2: I'm in sales in the farming industry.
- 10:04Speaker 3: You're selling sick.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I was selling softly for farmers to help them. Must
- 10:10Speaker 2: be past you. You've got to grow grass.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you need software for these days.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Bloody tell me. Apparently she is crazy, Shane. Tell me Shane, Well,
- 10:20Speaker 2: I'm picking since you're sort of in the farming industry.
- 10:22Speaker 2: You've you've had a bit of bike action in your time. Oh,
- 10:26Speaker 2: I'm a real badass on a bike, I can tell you. Yeah,
- 10:30Speaker 2: you sound like it's Shane your backbone. Will you stay
- 10:32Speaker 2: on the line? Mates? And old patchl saw you out?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Good on you man, Jesus that I can't.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Good as Steve.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Wow, Hello, here he is Steve.
- 10:43Speaker 4: You there, mate, I am here.
- 10:44Speaker 1: You can hear me, I.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Can hear you.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Steve.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Tell me Steve, what do you do for a crust? Yeah?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Tell me as a mechanic, I'm Steve. Are you a
- 10:57Speaker 2: fan of the electric vehicle?
- 11:01Speaker 3: Not really?
- 11:01Speaker 2: No, Yeah, he's more old school he's more centy, like
- 11:05Speaker 2: you're dead.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Well, he is like my dad. But the thing is
- 11:07Speaker 4: Steve is trained up to work on you know, the
- 11:10Speaker 4: internal combustion engine.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Jason.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yes, you know what I mean.
- 11:13Speaker 4: That doesn't mean that he can't be riding a street
- 11:15Speaker 4: dog in his private time.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Would you do that, Steve? I would
- 11:19Speaker 2: have got today a damn.
- 11:22Speaker 4: That's confidence. You're in the drawing if you hold the
- 11:25Speaker 4: line right.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And finally, let's go to laying your mad basset. How's
- 11:31Speaker 2: life good mate? Good effects? Make good cod cood cood?
- 11:35Speaker 2: What do you do for a cross lane? For people?
- 11:40Speaker 2: My important work? That backbone, you know, and it was raining.
- 11:43Speaker 2: You need a roof.
- 11:44Speaker 1: You're telling me about a backbone and can feel mine?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Oh? Is that right?
- 11:49Speaker 4: Like the hey lane? Have you ever been in a
- 11:52Speaker 4: gang before?
- 11:53Speaker 6: Men?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Nah?
- 11:55Speaker 2: It away from that? Yeah?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Okay, Well what are you you're scared?
- 12:00Speaker 2: No? That? Yeah?
- 12:03Speaker 4: Nice, because we can't have any scaredy cats in the
- 12:05Speaker 4: street dogs. Man, It's not that's not what we're about.
- 12:07Speaker 4: You're in the drawer lane. You hold the line all right?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Good on your mates gangs? Eh?
- 12:14Speaker 3: Hey ah?
- 12:16Speaker 2: What that's the other thing about? If you were to
- 12:18Speaker 2: rent Keysy. You know there's a few gangs around.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Ah, yeah, but there's games out west talking where I
- 12:22Speaker 4: live though, Yeah that's true.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but then yeah, they're West Auckland gangs, Casey,
- 12:29Speaker 2: they're not CBD gangs, Big city gang. Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 12:35Speaker 1: in four on radio.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, Nirvana there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 12:41Speaker 2: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is four thirty eight.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Fellows of you who'd of the TV show kids say
- 12:48Speaker 3: the Darndas things, Yes, I have. I'm starting to think
- 12:51Speaker 3: that old Bill Cosby was right about that at least.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Had a weird experience over the weekend with my daughter,
- 12:58Speaker 3: and I'm beginning to think that brain is really kicked
- 13:01Speaker 3: into gear. She's like Stewie now out of Family Guy.
- 13:06Speaker 3: She's starting to outthink me, right, she's.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Starting to plot how to murder your wife.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Well, I don't know, she's not shared that with me
- 13:13Speaker 3: just yet, but she's very close with our cat bird
- 13:15Speaker 3: shit Chris and god knows what they've been talking.
- 13:18Speaker 4: It's like Stewie and Brian and Family Guy. They can
- 13:20Speaker 4: talk to another very much.
- 13:21Speaker 3: So now I was in bed the other day, and
- 13:26Speaker 3: this was on Mother's Day. Brought in all the flowers
- 13:30Speaker 3: and the many gifts for my wife, chroissant and bed
- 13:33Speaker 3: coffee paper. We'd been through all of that, and my
- 13:36Speaker 3: wife had just gotten up to go out out into
- 13:39Speaker 3: the lounge to call all her family and tell them
- 13:41Speaker 3: how lucky she was and how well she'd married and.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Is this a true story?
- 13:47Speaker 3: Yeah, And at that point my daughter jumped into bed
- 13:50Speaker 3: with me and she was we have a lovely time.
- 13:51Speaker 3: She plays this game where she tries to drive me
- 13:53Speaker 3: insane just by making loud, weird noises in my ear.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I wonder where she gets that from.
- 13:58Speaker 3: You do that every day for extended periods, and believe
- 14:02Speaker 3: it or not, Fellers, after a while, it starts to
- 14:05Speaker 3: wear thin, or it can do. So my technique is
- 14:08Speaker 3: just to completely ignore her. So what I started doing
- 14:12Speaker 3: was I got my phone out just sort of ignore her.
- 14:14Speaker 3: She will eventually go away, because I noticed this works
- 14:17Speaker 3: on me. So I was watching the previous nights Rugby
- 14:20Speaker 3: League highlights on my phone and she kept on gaining
- 14:23Speaker 3: in my ear for maybe three or four minutes, and
- 14:26Speaker 3: I just kept on ignoring her, and then eventually she
- 14:29Speaker 3: just said to me, oh yeah, watching the rugby. Now
- 14:33Speaker 3: keep in mind she's not even seven years old. Oh yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 3: watching the rugby league highlights? Are you rather than paying
- 14:40Speaker 3: attention to your wife on Mother's Day? What's that about me?
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah? That's cutting. Yeah, that is very cut.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It's pretty insightful for a six gwn on seven year old.
- 14:52Speaker 4: I think the part of that that's quite alarming, what
- 14:54Speaker 4: not alarming but impressive for me, is referring to her
- 14:57Speaker 4: mum as your.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Wife, right, And it was a little, honestly a little
- 15:04Speaker 3: bit worrying. There's a step up and sort of perception.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And yes, it's operating, it's operating on a number of
- 15:11Speaker 2: levels there. Yeah, you know what I mean as a
- 15:13Speaker 2: posted just a very sort of one, you know, flat exactly.
- 15:19Speaker 3: And now she then she reinforced us later on where
- 15:21Speaker 3: my wife and I we've got one of the bedrooms
- 15:23Speaker 3: is converted into an office. We've each got a desk
- 15:25Speaker 3: in there. I was in there doing a little bit
- 15:28Speaker 3: of work kesy oh cool, and my daughter was in there,
- 15:32Speaker 3: still annoying me, still annoyed me. And I looked out
- 15:35Speaker 3: the door and I could see my wife was on
- 15:37Speaker 3: her computer, but she was in the dining room and
- 15:41Speaker 3: I called out and I said, you're going to work
- 15:42Speaker 3: in that. She's got her own desk just behind me,
- 15:45Speaker 3: you know, wasn't she in here working with me? I said,
- 15:48Speaker 3: are you just going to stay out there? She's like, yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 3: I'm just going to stay in there. And my daughter
- 15:54Speaker 3: turned to me and she said, she doesn't love you.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Oh wow. So she just points out things that are
- 16:05Speaker 4: obvious and happening within the house, does she.
- 16:08Speaker 2: They're very Yeah, they're very intuitive at that age. They're
- 16:11Speaker 2: like sponges, mogi. And there's been many times over the
- 16:15Speaker 2: years where my girls have really, you know, knuckled down
- 16:18Speaker 2: to the crux of it. I remember when my youngest
- 16:20Speaker 2: was about seven or eight and she was complaining that
- 16:23Speaker 2: there was no food in the house. And I was like,
- 16:26Speaker 2: for goodness sakes, there's plenty of food in the house.
- 16:30Speaker 2: And she came back with, we don't have food, we
- 16:33Speaker 2: have ingredients.
- 16:35Speaker 4: How does she even know what ingredients are?
- 16:37Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 16:39Speaker 3: Three four eight three. If your kids need to be
- 16:42Speaker 3: adopted out, if you've got any examples of horrible things
- 16:45Speaker 3: that they've said to you, it makes you. It makes
- 16:47Speaker 3: you proud, though in a weird way. I was very
- 16:49Speaker 3: happy with that. I'm starting with that.
- 16:51Speaker 4: Three four eight three, Every text in the draw for
- 16:52Speaker 4: fifty bucks cash.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Here's you too.
- 16:55Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hod.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Ike Queens the Stone Age. There on the Radio Hodarchy
- 17:02Speaker 2: Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is ten minutes
- 17:06Speaker 2: to five o'clocks. Talk TV. What's on the Telly with
- 17:12Speaker 2: Mike Minogue.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I watched another episode of Gone last night on
- 17:21Speaker 3: three now Wedy. I think it's the second to last episode. Geez,
- 17:26Speaker 3: I will say this, I'm enjoying. I am enjoying it.
- 17:29Speaker 3: But there was so you've got a It's about a
- 17:32Speaker 3: guy whose elderly wife goes missing, turns up murdered. Who
- 17:36Speaker 3: done it? They think it was the husband obviously their
- 17:39Speaker 3: keys Indy, but there's a cop in the sort of
- 17:42Speaker 3: a b storyline running where she has broken up with
- 17:45Speaker 3: her partner who's also a cop and cheated on her,
- 17:48Speaker 3: and he's trying to get back with her, and it
- 17:49Speaker 3: sort of goes through this arc of should she or
- 17:52Speaker 3: shouldn't she sp it? She shouldn't. He's a shocking bastard.
- 17:57Speaker 3: But there's a weird leap between a couple of episodes
- 17:59Speaker 3: where she goes from sort of the one in control,
- 18:02Speaker 3: so I don't know about this, and in the next
- 18:04Speaker 3: episode she's just really weak and wet and subservient Tom,
- 18:08Speaker 3: and you completely miss the beat where that complete change
- 18:12Speaker 3: of character happened. So that's greatly annoyed me, Yes, annoyed me.
- 18:15Speaker 3: But outside of that, I'm really enjoying it and I'll
- 18:17Speaker 3: give it three and a half base so far, but
- 18:19Speaker 3: the last episode will determine whether it's any good at all.
- 18:22Speaker 3: And it's gone on Free.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I'm watching a show called Legends.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I've started that.
- 18:31Speaker 2: On Netflix and it's a characterize a dramatization of the
- 18:36Speaker 2: true story of British undercover customs investigators who infiltrated the
- 18:41Speaker 2: drug world in the early nineteen nineties. In The cast
- 18:45Speaker 2: includes Steve Coogan, Tom Burk, and Hale Squires. So as
- 18:49Speaker 2: the hell of a cast. However, Tom Book I really
- 18:53Speaker 2: like as an actor. Actually, which one is he in
- 18:56Speaker 2: the show? Or he's the the young fellow who makes
- 19:00Speaker 2: it all on board and goes, yeah, I'm the man.
- 19:01Speaker 3: For the job. I'll see the guy that's on his own.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he's on his own. Yeah. Look I'm actually really
- 19:06Speaker 2: enjoying it. It occurred to me last night while I
- 19:10Speaker 2: was watching it, because it's all about infiltrating their gangs
- 19:12Speaker 2: and stuff, and they're all kind of misfitty kind of people.
- 19:17Speaker 2: It's got a little bit of Slow Horses vibe about.
- 19:21Speaker 3: You, you know, or an attempt an.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Attempt at the slow the show Slow Horses, where they're
- 19:27Speaker 2: all kind of misfits and they're doing this crazy dangerous work.
- 19:32Speaker 2: It's solid.
- 19:33Speaker 3: The thing that kept me engaged with it is the
- 19:35Speaker 3: fact that it has got a really good cast and
- 19:36Speaker 3: you went after finding Steve Kirgan and something that's garbage. No,
- 19:40Speaker 3: however I found it. They're trying to the undercover cops,
- 19:42Speaker 3: trying to infiltrate thing gangs that deal and heroin, and
- 19:47Speaker 3: they do that by walking around in the neighborhoods looking
- 19:51Speaker 3: exactly like cops, staring at people either just standing on
- 19:55Speaker 3: corners or sitting in cars alone for hours on end.
- 19:58Speaker 3: And it was driving me in So it was like,
- 20:01Speaker 3: surely you know that that's not There's no way that
- 20:04Speaker 3: that was how they did it. So that really has
- 20:06Speaker 3: annoyed me. But I'm sure it gets better after the first.
- 20:07Speaker 2: He does and as I say, it's not amazing, but
- 20:12Speaker 2: I'll give it a solid three busies out of five busies.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Like if we were hanging around with the sons of
- 20:17Speaker 4: Hadaky Gang. Yeah, and then some random dwebs were like
- 20:21Speaker 4: quite clearly staring at us from a car. Yeah, we'd
- 20:24Speaker 4: probably put the heroin away and totally.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Well, this is the trick that these guys have though
- 20:28Speaker 3: they went loo getting straight out their windscreen. They were
- 20:31Speaker 3: sitting in the car a broad daylight. But looking at
- 20:33Speaker 3: these guys.
- 20:34Speaker 4: In their rear view mirror.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Ah, you see, they couldn't tell them.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I was little adopting that technique used to have down
- 20:39Speaker 3: at the netball courts. Keys. We would sit there with
- 20:43Speaker 3: your newspaper with the holes newspapers so you could look
- 20:47Speaker 3: through it and have a geese.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Yeah, that's an old yarn. So my wife would be
- 20:51Speaker 4: playing netball and I'd go and watch, but not watch
- 20:54Speaker 4: her game. I'd stand my car back it in, Yes,
- 20:56Speaker 4: to the car park with the netball game behind me. Yes,
- 21:00Speaker 4: have a newspaper opened with eye holes cutting it, and
- 21:03Speaker 4: then look at the rearview mirror and perv on everyone else.
- 21:05Speaker 3: That's all right, I'm going to shock him.
- 21:07Speaker 4: I've got to get back to doing that, and I've
- 21:08Speaker 4: done that in ages.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I used to give that five buses?
- 21:14Speaker 3: Did I?
- 21:15Speaker 4: Is that where it started?
- 21:16Speaker 2: That's where it all began.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I want to throw back four years ago.
- 21:24Speaker 1: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I can welcome back your messive backbones. Hope your Wednesday's
- 21:32Speaker 2: going off. You're listening to the Big Show, by the way,
- 21:35Speaker 2: brought to you by Toledo. That's right.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Toledo's natural electa like drinks. Tell your sports club to
- 21:41Speaker 4: stock him today.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Great stuff every day. The public won't know this. In
- 21:56Speaker 2: the studio, they turned the ear con off, so it's
- 22:00Speaker 2: always very nice and warm when we come in here.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Do they turn it on or do they turn it off?
- 22:05Speaker 3: They turn it, well, they change it in the sense
- 22:08Speaker 3: that it becomes cull, doesn't I think it's yeah? I
- 22:10Speaker 3: think maybe right.
- 22:11Speaker 2: They turn it on, yes, and it goes from being
- 22:13Speaker 2: warm to suddenly freezing. It's like after five o'clock. Everyone's
- 22:19Speaker 2: gone high. So we're going to save some dollars here
- 22:22Speaker 2: and just switch it on or off, whatever the case.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Kay, sweet, So if it's warm and then it gets cold.
- 22:28Speaker 4: They've turned it on, They've turned the air conditioning on.
- 22:31Speaker 3: I think they have it on. It just circulates because
- 22:33Speaker 3: it always sort of seems a bit of a different
- 22:35Speaker 3: level anyway. Anyway, let's not get bogged down. It does
- 22:39Speaker 3: get cold. But I've got a question for you which
- 22:41Speaker 3: has just been come to my attention.
- 22:43Speaker 5: James.
- 22:43Speaker 3: You've had a wardrobe change mid show. You were wearing
- 22:46Speaker 3: a T shirt with a blazer, and now you're back
- 22:48Speaker 3: in your Headache Big Show uniform that you wear every
- 22:51Speaker 3: single day. Yes, what's going on? Man?
- 22:54Speaker 2: Well, I actually wore the sweatshet underneath my blazer today
- 22:59Speaker 2: because it was a bit chill out there.
- 23:00Speaker 5: I love it.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Hears it, switch it every day and even when he
- 23:03Speaker 4: changes his outfit, he still has it as part of
- 23:05Speaker 4: his outfit.
- 23:07Speaker 2: But then I got him to work. I was like, oh,
- 23:10Speaker 2: it's a bit toasty in here. I'll take the sweatshirt
- 23:12Speaker 2: off and the jacket on with my T shirt. But
- 23:14Speaker 2: then it got cold again, so I put my sweat
- 23:17Speaker 2: ship back on. But it's not so cold that I
- 23:21Speaker 2: need to put my jacket on it. That's wrong. I
- 23:24Speaker 2: leave for you when I leave work, I'll probably put
- 23:27Speaker 2: the jacket on top of my sweatshirt.
- 23:29Speaker 4: And what about the T shirt underneath? We take that
- 23:31Speaker 4: off only when I go to bed, Geezy, but you
- 23:36Speaker 4: leave your hood.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I need to take that off in bed.
- 23:40Speaker 4: You sleep with it on?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yeah, totally.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Man, what do you have on your bottom half?
- 23:43Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 23:45Speaker 4: So you win? Need the poet with that Nike switcher.
- 23:49Speaker 3: God, that's so good, it's so hot.
- 23:51Speaker 4: He actually, Jase, you know I shouldn't take the person
- 23:54Speaker 4: out of mate, because I've actually decided that the time
- 23:56Speaker 4: has come for me to stand with you. Yes, you're
- 23:59Speaker 4: currently half way through giving up vaping for the month
- 24:01Speaker 4: of May. Yes, going bloody well, i'd say, but I
- 24:04Speaker 4: think you need to be support in order to see
- 24:06Speaker 4: out the month.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Oh well, I appreciate that, Key said, I look forward
- 24:10Speaker 2: to what you've got to offer.
- 24:11Speaker 4: That's right. I've got my own bit. I'd like to play.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah, our Fierce food Fighters.
- 24:17Speaker 1: The Wholearchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 24:20Speaker 7: Tune in four on radiok Red Chili Peppers here on
- 24:26Speaker 7: the Radio Holarchy Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 24:30Speaker 2: The time is fifteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Fellas you know. We we joke around a lot on
- 24:37Speaker 4: the big show. We take the person away, but there's
- 24:39Speaker 4: one thing we shouldn't take the person with, and that's
- 24:41Speaker 4: our health.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Have you been checking your ticket again?
- 24:46Speaker 4: Huh no, No, she's all good.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Now.
- 24:50Speaker 4: We've got a bit running with Hoidy j aka Jason Hoyt.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Aka the vape Master aka the Jizzmeister General, and.
- 25:01Speaker 4: That bit is for him to not vape for the
- 25:03Speaker 4: month to mate.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah preferred z.
- 25:04Speaker 4: But and so I personally, I believe in Jace. I've
- 25:09Speaker 4: put my cash forward. I've said he can do it.
- 25:11Speaker 4: One hundred bucks is on the line, magie. You don't
- 25:14Speaker 4: think he can, and I just think. I couldn't sleep
- 25:17Speaker 4: last night. I was up late and all I was
- 25:19Speaker 4: thinking about is why are we taking the purse when
- 25:21Speaker 4: it comes to Jace's health?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:22Speaker 4: Man, you know I want to support you, Jase. I
- 25:25Speaker 4: want you to win this bit. I want you to
- 25:27Speaker 4: do it for longer than just mate.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Thank you, Keezy. I appreciate it, man.
- 25:31Speaker 4: And so with that in mind, I've decided to bring
- 25:34Speaker 4: to the table a bit of my own.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:38Speaker 4: I pledge that I will not have any alcohol for
- 25:46Speaker 4: the rest of the year for the rest of the year,
- 25:54Speaker 4: no alcohol. Now it's going to be hard because obviously
- 25:59Speaker 4: we've got magic on this weekend, and you know, there's
- 26:01Speaker 4: plenty of events and my whole life is kind of
- 26:04Speaker 4: built around it. But I'm going to do that for you, Jason.
- 26:09Speaker 3: So well, I've actually gone this whole year without boozing,
- 26:14Speaker 3: and I'm going to do the rest of your after
- 26:16Speaker 3: magic ground. And I could teach you a trick or
- 26:18Speaker 3: two keys about how you could achieve this goal. Okay,
- 26:22Speaker 3: if you went so weak willed, if you weren't such
- 26:25Speaker 3: a messive alcoholic, if you were in a slave to
- 26:29Speaker 3: the person.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I'm not a slave to.
- 26:30Speaker 2: The Can I put five thousand on that?
- 26:33Speaker 3: Well, no, I'll put five grand on it too.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Wait, so Pat and two practices up for five.
- 26:40Speaker 4: He doesn't have it.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I'm only saying five just because j said five. But
- 26:44Speaker 3: for me it could be ten.
- 26:45Speaker 4: So you guys are putting fifteen grand on the fact
- 26:48Speaker 4: that I will do it.
- 26:49Speaker 2: You will drink, you will drink perst year? Can I
- 26:53Speaker 2: actually I will go ten? Yeah?
- 26:56Speaker 3: I mean I wish you all the best man going
- 26:58Speaker 3: team too. You might as well go to.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Thirty k Yeah, Well, I thought you guys.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Were going to Well, you can't just make a bit
- 27:08Speaker 3: and have nobody on the other side of the bit.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Otherwise you're just saying that you're going to do something.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I mean, you're supporting me here, Keezy. Yeah, and I
- 27:15Speaker 2: appreciate it.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Man, it doesn't feel like you're supporting me back. It
- 27:18Speaker 4: feels like you're just trying to get rich off of it.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Well, there's you know, support, and then there's easy money.
- 27:23Speaker 5: You know.
- 27:24Speaker 2: It's like when you guys bid on the Warriors, you know,
- 27:30Speaker 2: and you know they're going to get their asses handed
- 27:32Speaker 2: to them, but you do the bit anyway, but then
- 27:34Speaker 2: you bet on the other team. Yeah, insurance insurance, right.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I want you to succeed, Keezy. That's why you know
- 27:45Speaker 2: I'm putting fifteen grand on it, because that's.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Going to encourage you to really work out, because you're
- 27:51Speaker 3: not going to want to lose fifteen grand from me.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Jason O Packtice has gone up to fifteen as well.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Oh right, it's a forty five k now, so you
- 28:00Speaker 4: don't want to lose this bit. So all I have
- 28:02Speaker 4: to do is not drink for the rest of the end.
- 28:03Speaker 4: I get forty five K.
- 28:05Speaker 3: That's right, correct, you can do it, man.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I mean we should do what you do with the pot,
- 28:15Speaker 2: and we should get the punters involved on three four
- 28:18Speaker 2: eight three. Actually, that's a great idea against you and
- 28:22Speaker 2: then you know, we can see what we end up with.
- 28:25Speaker 2: People have prepared to.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Be okay before I agree to this, because there's obviously
- 28:28Speaker 4: a lot of money forty I'm going to obviously change
- 28:31Speaker 4: my wife about it. Yeah, maybe we should run like
- 28:34Speaker 4: an experiment to see whether or not I can actually
- 28:37Speaker 4: say no to the peer pressure.
- 28:38Speaker 2: And you know you're just going to do what Hoodie
- 28:40Speaker 2: j did mate and bite the bottom.
- 28:42Speaker 4: I think we need to do it a practice so hard.
- 28:44Speaker 4: I think we need to do a practice run so hard. Okay,
- 28:49Speaker 4: let's do that next, because.
- 28:52Speaker 2: You're going to be tempted. See, there's going to be
- 28:54Speaker 2: people that try and press you into it. So we'll
- 28:57Speaker 2: do an improv next to see, okay, you can get
- 29:00Speaker 2: through that sort of stuff.
- 29:01Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 29:05Speaker 1: in on Radio.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Hod Blink one A two. There on the Radio Hodarchy
- 29:10Speaker 2: Big Show this Wednesday night. The time is five twenty six.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Let's do some improv. Why it sounds fae lines camera action. No,
- 29:20Speaker 2: it's time for the big show a prov. So Keysy's
- 29:26Speaker 2: made a bit that he's not going to drink for
- 29:28Speaker 2: the rest of the year.
- 29:30Speaker 4: It's well, I'm still weighing it up. That's to support
- 29:33Speaker 4: you and you're no vaping bit that you've made. But
- 29:36Speaker 4: it depends how I go with this improv right now.
- 29:38Speaker 2: To be honest, Well, we've already locked it in. It's
- 29:42Speaker 2: a bit forty five thousand, Well we have.
- 29:44Speaker 4: We haven't shaken on her, no, No, we were just
- 29:45Speaker 4: sort of, you know, spitballing and stuff.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Well I didn't shake on my vape one either, and
- 29:49Speaker 2: it's legit. But anyway, let's get to it. So obviously
- 29:53Speaker 2: are there some backbones right behind you? Maybe they're annoying me.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Umm, there, I'm gonna put it to you this way.
- 30:02Speaker 3: What you Jay, Kezy and myself are over at Magic Round.
- 30:04Speaker 3: We've just arrived. We've gone to the very first bar,
- 30:07Speaker 3: we've walked through the door and it's my around.
- 30:11Speaker 4: First Kezy, Right, okay we go. This is gonna be
- 30:14Speaker 4: the hardest test at Magic Round. Yeah, it's gonna be
- 30:16Speaker 4: tough alright, So here's some bar on beyond hang on,
- 30:22Speaker 4: we're at a bar.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Yeah, alright, alright, I'm gonna get it. I'm gonna get
- 30:29Speaker 3: five jugs of four X and a couple of shots
- 30:32Speaker 3: of tequila. What do you want?
- 30:34Speaker 4: Well, good man, I might just get do you do
- 30:36Speaker 4: a do you do a pint of of coke?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Zero?
- 30:39Speaker 3: Is it?
- 30:40Speaker 4: No PEPSI? No, I'll just have a Do you have
- 30:45Speaker 4: an orange juice?
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah? With an orange shoes the orange juice?
- 30:49Speaker 4: Yeah, just get a glass of orange juice please.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeh, yep, no worries. And I just have a little
- 30:53Speaker 2: couple of shots of body there for you on the side.
- 30:57Speaker 3: On the side, mate, just put them straight? Want when
- 31:02Speaker 3: he gets a straight vodka in?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah? All right, fellers, thanks for that.
- 31:07Speaker 3: There you go.
- 31:09Speaker 2: I don't want two dollars, thanks mate.
- 31:11Speaker 3: What are you saying?
- 31:11Speaker 4: I don't want any of the vodka.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I just want the orangements? Good one.
- 31:16Speaker 4: I'm after. This is Australia, man, What do you mean?
- 31:20Speaker 4: This is Australia. It's okay.
- 31:21Speaker 3: If you're in Australia, you drink. Those are the rules
- 31:24Speaker 3: pretty much going to drink. You can pack your bags
- 31:25Speaker 3: and you can beat it.
- 31:26Speaker 4: What about that old lady over there, she's not her,
- 31:28Speaker 4: is she Yeah, she was hammered before she came in,
- 31:31Speaker 4: always is.
- 31:33Speaker 2: And he gets on the sherries at about eight in
- 31:35Speaker 2: the morning.
- 31:35Speaker 4: What about that little kid over there hammered?
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah, steamed. He likes the old what do you call them?
- 31:41Speaker 2: Traffic lights with body in them? Yeah, you know, the
- 31:44Speaker 2: old traffic lights to the because I can bake you
- 31:46Speaker 2: one of those if that's what you want. I mean, yeah,
- 31:48Speaker 2: there you go, traffic light. A little quick, little dose
- 31:52Speaker 2: of body in there, fellas out.
- 31:54Speaker 5: That'll be thank you.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Can I just see the bars neck menu? Is that okay?
- 31:58Speaker 4: Can I just look at the bars next?
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:00Speaker 4: Sure you can, man, okay, cool, I'm just looking here.
- 32:03Speaker 4: What are your nacho's like? Are they good?
- 32:07Speaker 2: Not bad? Mates?
- 32:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Not bad?
- 32:08Speaker 3: I see here that they're coupled with tequila. You pear
- 32:11Speaker 3: them with a tequila the nacho?
- 32:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no you do, Yeah, no, I just want
- 32:15Speaker 2: them and the lemon and the and the salt there. Yeah,
- 32:20Speaker 2: free with the tequila. No a sex pat you know,
- 32:23Speaker 2: the sex shots with every with every grouping of nachos,
- 32:27Speaker 2: a group of.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Yeah, if I order the nachos, can you have the tequila?
- 32:32Speaker 6: Have it?
- 32:33Speaker 4: Can you have the tequila.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Honestly easy. I feel like you should get on the
- 32:36Speaker 3: pest man because you're unbearable. Sober.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Well, I've literally done. I'm the same as I always am.
- 32:41Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 32:42Speaker 3: People have been coming up to me and talking to
- 32:43Speaker 3: me about.
- 32:44Speaker 4: It, really, but we're not bundant to anyone.
- 32:48Speaker 2: You're passing me off. You're going to pay for the
- 32:49Speaker 2: drinks or not.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Moggie's paying. I'll just pay for the nachos if that's
- 32:53Speaker 4: all right, and the orange.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Jat and I'll pay.
- 32:58Speaker 3: I've just got to go to the toilet. I'll be
- 32:59Speaker 3: right back. I'm just going to pop out. I'll be
- 33:01Speaker 3: right back, man, don't see you later. I see at
- 33:05Speaker 3: the airport.
- 33:06Speaker 2: That'll be eighty five bucks saints mate?
- 33:10Speaker 4: Can I can?
- 33:10Speaker 2: I just know.
- 33:14Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodes.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Indeed, we are there on the radio hold Archy Big Show.
- 33:21Speaker 2: There's a glorious, glorious Wednesday evening now the New Zealand
- 33:25Speaker 2: Comedy Festivals on at the Moment International Comedy Festival. We've
- 33:29Speaker 2: had a lot of comedian through but we've got another
- 33:32Speaker 2: comedian today who's with us. And it's not specifically for
- 33:36Speaker 2: the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. It's for another fundraising activity.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I'm talking about the one and only Hyes, Matthewson, how
- 33:45Speaker 2: are you mad? Bastard?
- 33:46Speaker 5: Oh my beautiful boys. It's good to see you again.
- 33:49Speaker 2: It's been a while, isn't it.
- 33:50Speaker 5: It's been about a year last time we were getting
- 33:52Speaker 5: naked together.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yes, that's right.
- 33:54Speaker 4: Was I in the tub?
- 33:55Speaker 5: Not yet?
- 33:56Speaker 2: I was Noah.
- 33:58Speaker 3: That was a great CAZy did a weak radio stunt
- 34:01Speaker 3: where he was broadcasting from the bath. Did you not
- 34:04Speaker 3: hear about it?
- 34:04Speaker 2: Oh?
- 34:04Speaker 4: I heard about it, Reples through the New Zealand media.
- 34:09Speaker 2: It was It's crazy. It was massive, wasn't it?
- 34:11Speaker 4: It was massive? Speaking of massive, you guys have got
- 34:13Speaker 4: a massive fundraiser. So this is the poor Nicky house party, Reese.
- 34:21Speaker 4: You're part of this, and profits for from this event,
- 34:24Speaker 4: which is half music half comedy, are actually going to
- 34:27Speaker 4: be donated to the Mayoral flood Relief Fund. What what
- 34:31Speaker 4: is the key to good sort of storm drainage? You know,
- 34:34Speaker 4: because that's what it's all about, right well, into fixing
- 34:36Speaker 4: this storm drainage and things like that and handling those
- 34:38Speaker 4: big floods.
- 34:39Speaker 5: And thank you for asking. And I was absolutely prepared
- 34:40Speaker 5: for this. It's it's got to be scoria, right, yeah,
- 34:44Speaker 5: tons of Scoria's right, it's like a night out. You've
- 34:47Speaker 5: got to lay a good bass from there. You're pretty
- 34:50Speaker 5: much shorted.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Sleeves as well. Keezy, what about them leaves they block
- 34:57Speaker 2: up you know, the gardis and stuff.
- 34:59Speaker 3: He's not wrong. You've got to get rid of the
- 35:01Speaker 3: You've got to have a good backwash system like they
- 35:03Speaker 3: do down at the More Point Sewerage System network down
- 35:08Speaker 3: in Wellington there where they put the back wash on
- 35:10Speaker 3: that flushes out all the city's poos and puts it
- 35:13Speaker 3: out in the ocean.
- 35:14Speaker 5: I've always lived my life on a no backwash policy.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Reallywash Man, that was a huge thing.
- 35:19Speaker 3: That was a big thing.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yeah. But in all honesty, mate, our Wellington brothers and sisters,
- 35:25Speaker 2: they've been under the gun. So this is a really
- 35:27Speaker 2: good cause because it's been shithouse down there. Let's be honest.
- 35:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it has been. And we you know, us in
- 35:33Speaker 5: the in the arts, we're not particularly skilled in any
- 35:35Speaker 5: way shape or for actually materially helped. Yes, but if
- 35:39Speaker 5: we can put on a show and donate the proceeds,
- 35:41Speaker 5: we're more than happy.
- 35:41Speaker 3: You're not a bigger drain, are you.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Oh absolutely, no way, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 35:46Speaker 3: If you've been given any thought to the apocalypse, because
- 35:48Speaker 3: I have, I'm just thinking how quickly I'll be dead.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I let my wife and child are.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Just yeah, right. I've been trying to figure out if
- 35:58Speaker 5: I could commandeer a small twin prop plane and perhaps
- 36:02Speaker 5: flying myself to Stuart Island.
- 36:05Speaker 4: You know how to fly?
- 36:06Speaker 5: Absolutely not. How hard could it really be?
- 36:08Speaker 3: Well, exactly, You're the kind of guy in Stuart Island.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I've been there before. I don't know if you have
- 36:12Speaker 3: no they would hate you.
- 36:16Speaker 2: I've always felt, you know, in an apocalypse situation or
- 36:21Speaker 2: a zombie situation, I just build a treehouse and drink
- 36:25Speaker 2: purse my experience. That'd be my way of dealing with it.
- 36:29Speaker 3: And by build a treehouse, he means sit in a tree.
- 36:34Speaker 2: There'd be like two planks. But you actually make a
- 36:37Speaker 2: really good point. Having said that, I mean comedians and
- 36:40Speaker 2: artists in general would not be well suited to the
- 36:43Speaker 2: practical application of helping with flood relief. Having said that, oh,
- 36:48Speaker 2: Kesy here he had massive flooding in his house in
- 36:54Speaker 2: West Augle. You built a drain, didn't you?
- 36:57Speaker 4: I didn't build a drain.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I thought you dug it all up.
- 37:00Speaker 3: He drinks like a draink.
- 37:02Speaker 4: That is a huge yarn to spin. Just as about
- 37:04Speaker 4: to my house on the market at Old Keesy's house
- 37:06Speaker 4: was flooded in it Are you kidding me?
- 37:09Speaker 3: It's a shock.
- 37:10Speaker 5: I'd pay for an extra builders report a second opinion on.
- 37:12Speaker 4: That, and I don't do it. We've got Reyese Mathewson
- 37:15Speaker 4: here with us. He is one of a whole host
- 37:17Speaker 4: of talented people as part of the Pornicker House Party.
- 37:20Speaker 4: So it's happening this Sunday, May seventeenth at the Opera House.
- 37:24Speaker 4: It is featuring comedians James Nokisa, Michelle Acourt, Recee Matthewson.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Of course Justine Smith talking is going to be there
- 37:30Speaker 4: as well Karen O'Leary. So they're bringing the funnies, while
- 37:33Speaker 4: Samuel Flint Scott and Luke Butter from the Phoenix Foundation
- 37:36Speaker 4: and Dropper will be bringing the tune.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Yes, I was going to ask Reez, what are you
- 37:41Speaker 2: doing comedy or music?
- 37:43Speaker 5: I'm going to try and do both. I'm gonna my
- 37:45Speaker 5: dream is to do like a real James Brown thing
- 37:48Speaker 5: and really short jokes like a.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and then they can throw I think it is
- 37:54Speaker 3: going to be on stage while the comedians are on stage.
- 37:56Speaker 5: There is a house bend the funk Adela, and.
- 38:00Speaker 4: He's got a proud history of fusing music and humid don't.
- 38:02Speaker 3: We Oh, here we go?
- 38:03Speaker 4: Yeah, don't we?
- 38:04Speaker 2: Yes?
- 38:04Speaker 3: As where we start?
- 38:06Speaker 5: You, of course talking about two thousand and seven Billy
- 38:09Speaker 5: t winners Missus Peacock.
- 38:11Speaker 4: Yes, that's a deep cut. I'm glad you picked up
- 38:14Speaker 4: on that. Should we go to a chune Jays Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 4: and come back after that with more Reee Mathewson.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, and that sounds what's the chune keysy Faith
- 38:22Speaker 2: No More?
- 38:24Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Faith No More There on the Radio Hodarchy Big. What's
- 38:31Speaker 2: so funny? Reese?
- 38:33Speaker 5: Your face really went like like absolutely still, like there
- 38:38Speaker 5: was no one in there for us.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, kind of vacant. Yeah. Hey, we've got Reeth Madison,
- 38:44Speaker 2: comedian with us, because he's doing a fundraiser down and
- 38:47Speaker 2: Wally of the Poor Nicky House Party. Is that what
- 38:49Speaker 2: it's called? Yeah, raising funds for flood relief. And they've
- 38:53Speaker 2: had poohs and stuff down there as well, So I'm
- 38:55Speaker 2: sure it's all sort of for the one big cause, right.
- 38:59Speaker 4: The Mayor Flood Relief Fund? Yes, yeah, yeah. Is he
- 39:02Speaker 4: right in saying Reese that that does involve getting the
- 39:05Speaker 4: poos out of the water as well?
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:07Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely, it's it's sort of a think of the
- 39:11Speaker 5: largest siev that you possibly can yes, wosh okay, yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 5: yeah yeah, it's kind of panning for gold.
- 39:16Speaker 3: But and you can hand the fish down a well
- 39:19Speaker 3: different nugg and fish, chicken, handfish. I'll take you out
- 39:21Speaker 3: on a barge or a raft and you can just
- 39:23Speaker 3: pick your own.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, this is where I could contribute because
- 39:28Speaker 2: back in the day and the Aussie Outback, I used
- 39:30Speaker 2: to work at a sewerage plant with my my poop
- 39:33Speaker 2: breaking up stick.
- 39:34Speaker 4: And you just the official title, what was it, You're
- 39:38Speaker 4: a log breaker.
- 39:40Speaker 2: A log breaker.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Plant?
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yes?
- 39:43Speaker 4: Do you think they would help?
- 39:44Speaker 5: Reese?
- 39:45Speaker 2: I mean, I could sit there with my log breaker
- 39:47Speaker 2: and just you know, if there's any huge keysies out there,
- 39:50Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Well, I've never been turd picking, but I have been
- 39:54Speaker 5: strawberry picking. I feel like I always eat more while
- 39:57Speaker 5: i'm picking than what I actually leave with.
- 40:00Speaker 3: That's so true.
- 40:01Speaker 5: I'm worried that would also be as long as it's out.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Of the water.
- 40:03Speaker 3: That's the main thing.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I didn't find you.
- 40:04Speaker 4: It's great, lea to fill up a part it, take
- 40:06Speaker 4: it home and put it in the fridge.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Rees of course. It is the New Zealand International Comedy
- 40:10Speaker 2: Festival going on at the moment as well as we speak.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Are you doing anything in that or are you just
- 40:15Speaker 2: sort of floating around doing bits and pieces here and there.
- 40:19Speaker 5: Floating around putting on some weird late night shows. Yeah nice, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 5: just doing lineup shows. It's so fun just to be
- 40:25Speaker 5: a part of festival but not have the stress of
- 40:28Speaker 5: having to do your own show.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, but you're with other stuff as well.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Because I saw you at guymont didn't I did? I? Yeah.
- 40:34Speaker 5: So I'm one of the two head writers on the
- 40:36Speaker 5: season of gamont Spelling Beat that has filmed but not
- 40:40Speaker 5: come out yet.
- 40:40Speaker 3: An unbelievable show, let me say, absolutely hysterical. Writing on
- 40:45Speaker 3: that show. You make Guy Montgomery out to be infinitely
- 40:48Speaker 3: more talented than he actually is.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Well, that's his real skill, is that he's got all
- 40:52Speaker 5: the charisma but nothing going on on the inside.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Yes, right, So Jason has been on that and I
- 40:58Speaker 3: understand he really embarrassed himself.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Oh well, we were on it together. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 2: But it was one of those things I embarrass myself
- 41:07Speaker 2: deliberately because then you don't want to go on there
- 41:10Speaker 2: and be serious, so I deliberately misspelled words.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Hit.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Your trick was yeah, right, Reese one.
- 41:21Speaker 4: I took it seriously.
- 41:23Speaker 5: My main mistake after that was reading the Reddit comments
- 41:26Speaker 5: of going this guy's taking away.
- 41:30Speaker 4: There is a delicate balance to be struck though, isn't
- 41:32Speaker 4: there because you want to win. You want to do
- 41:33Speaker 4: it because it's people at home watch and go. No,
- 41:35Speaker 4: you this is how you spell it? Yes, you know
- 41:37Speaker 4: you don't just want to go in there and act
- 41:39Speaker 4: like a wacky buses and get out of there like
- 41:40Speaker 4: old Jays.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I was so wacky man every day you are. I
- 41:45Speaker 2: was really wacky, Reese.
- 41:47Speaker 4: We've got the Pornaker House party happening this Sunday down
- 41:50Speaker 4: in Wellington. As we said, it's at the Opera House,
- 41:51Speaker 4: raising funds for the Miror Flood Relief Fund. If people
- 41:55Speaker 4: want to win tickets for free, you can actually text
- 41:58Speaker 4: house right now to three four eight three or hit
- 42:00Speaker 4: to comedy festival dot co. Donning's in for more information.
- 42:03Speaker 2: H w Yeah, good on you, Jason.
- 42:10Speaker 4: We'll send you some free tickets. In terms of, you know,
- 42:13Speaker 4: having a show down and willing to like this, how
- 42:15Speaker 4: does it work? Do you go down there and are
- 42:16Speaker 4: you doing other shows where you're down there or no?
- 42:18Speaker 5: It's a five fo worker fly in, do the gig
- 42:21Speaker 5: fly out that night?
- 42:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:23Speaker 5: Next morning?
- 42:24Speaker 2: Wow? Yeah.
- 42:25Speaker 4: Do you like to operate like that?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:26Speaker 5: Absolutely, man, I like to get out as soon as
- 42:30Speaker 5: I can in any city.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Yeah. I actually noticed when you came in here that
- 42:34Speaker 3: you're sporting a wedding ring and it looks pretty new
- 42:36Speaker 3: and it's a rapper of a ring. Can I say that?
- 42:38Speaker 2: Oh?
- 42:38Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 42:39Speaker 3: Very very nice. Tell me about your marriage.
- 42:45Speaker 5: I'm married to a wonderful woman. We've been together for
- 42:47Speaker 5: eleven years, wow, married for three.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Nice.
- 42:51Speaker 5: She started going to the gym around the same time
- 42:53Speaker 5: I started going to therapy, so now I can properly
- 42:55Speaker 5: communicate in a relationship and she can beat the shit
- 42:58Speaker 5: out of me.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, great marriage.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Ree Smithew said, what kind of lover are you?
- 43:03Speaker 3: Man? Oh?
- 43:05Speaker 5: Occasional but invested.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, I like it.
- 43:08Speaker 5: You know, I'm attentive. I'll put the put the leg
- 43:11Speaker 5: work in league work. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. It's all
- 43:15Speaker 5: leags with me.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 5: No back muscles, but a lot of glute work.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Great stuff. Would you describe yourself as vigorous? Ah, enthusiastic,
- 43:25Speaker 2: definitely enthusiastic, right, vigorous occasionally and parts mainly towards the end.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Well Reys, Matthewson, thank you so much for coming in
- 43:36Speaker 4: once again. If you'd like to go see the Pornicky
- 43:37Speaker 4: House Party text House to three four eight three or
- 43:40Speaker 4: here to Comedy Festival dot co dot in Seed Reese,
- 43:42Speaker 4: thanks for coming in, mate, always good to see you guys.
- 43:47Speaker 1: The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 43:50Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ich.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Welcome back in Us of Backbones. Hope you're getting through
- 43:55Speaker 2: your Wednesday night. You are, in fact listening to the
- 43:57Speaker 2: Big Show, brought to you by to Lee.
- 44:00Speaker 4: That's right, Toledo's natural eleitture like drinks low and sugar
- 44:03Speaker 4: no preservatives made right there.
- 44:05Speaker 3: And or.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Ivan clear. He fell as surprising because he's been pretty successful, hasn't.
- 44:17Speaker 2: He's a panther coach.
- 44:18Speaker 4: Are you referring to as the news that he's stepping
- 44:20Speaker 4: down at the end of the next season. Yeah, I mean,
- 44:23Speaker 4: I guess so. He's probably the greatest coach in recent history.
- 44:26Speaker 3: It is very sur but it's the end of next year,
- 44:28Speaker 3: it's not the end of this ye. Yeah, there's always
- 44:30Speaker 3: something happening in buck Malie. You gona tell you, I
- 44:33Speaker 3: reckon he wants to go stut of Origin.
- 44:35Speaker 4: If you think about it, you get to spend the
- 44:36Speaker 4: whole year just sort of having a geeze at the
- 44:38Speaker 4: NRL and then you know, there's three games and then
- 44:41Speaker 4: you're done.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah, he'd be pretty keen because I think he's new
- 44:44Speaker 3: South wlshman, isn't he, And so you can imagine that
- 44:47Speaker 3: he would be quite interested in setting up a dynasty,
- 44:50Speaker 3: yes for New South Wales, which has never happened for them,
- 44:52Speaker 3: but his hat well it just sort of did in
- 44:54Speaker 3: the eighties, but it has never happened for has never
- 44:57Speaker 3: happened for them really in the modern era, but Queensland
- 45:00Speaker 3: was dominated, so well, he'd be great in this space.
- 45:02Speaker 4: I think it'd be great too. And recently they had
- 45:04Speaker 4: to reappoint Laurie Daily as the coach, who had already
- 45:07Speaker 4: went through a massive stint of went through a massive
- 45:10Speaker 4: stint of losing. He was heavily involved in that giant
- 45:13Speaker 4: Queensland run. Yes, the losing side of that anyway, So
- 45:16Speaker 4: imagine that put Cleary in there. That that the dream job. Yeah, sit,
- 45:20Speaker 4: there a lot of pressure. He obviously would have to
- 45:22Speaker 4: back himself three games a year, but yeah, imagine if
- 45:26Speaker 4: we only did three shows.
- 45:27Speaker 2: He oh, oh we'd nail it.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Man.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Imagine the pressure.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Oh my god, it'd be so there'd be so much pressure.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Hey, now coming up, apparently Keysy wants to call a
- 45:38Speaker 2: show meeting.
- 45:39Speaker 4: It's important. Not apparently it's important.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Okay, that's fine, man, that's just whoa, he's smashing pumpkins.
- 45:49Speaker 1: It's just the Hiarchy Big Show. Was Jason, Mike and
- 45:53Speaker 1: Keyzy tune.
- 45:54Speaker 2: In on radio. She there on the radio Hodarchy Big
- 45:59Speaker 2: Show this Wednesday evening. The time is six thirteen. Let's
- 46:03Speaker 2: have a show meeting, show meeting, show me.
- 46:08Speaker 4: The meeting show meeting is now in plug West Fellas.
- 46:13Speaker 4: You may have noticed that our producer Pugsun is in
- 46:16Speaker 4: the studio with us.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Ooh it's Pugson.
- 46:22Speaker 4: Evening Fellas, how are you good?
- 46:24Speaker 2: Thanks man? Thanks for asking?
- 46:26Speaker 4: Why was that so weird, I know, just pregnant. Pause
- 46:31Speaker 4: there you're a good man, just ood Fellows, how's it going?
- 46:34Speaker 4: Then we just said nothing, Yeah, jeez, Fellas, that would
- 46:38Speaker 4: have been great. Serious though, Fellas. The reason I've called
- 46:41Speaker 4: a show meeting is yesterday on the show, we found
- 46:44Speaker 4: out that we had been given a Whoducky Big Show
- 46:46Speaker 4: credit card for the first time ever. Long time coming
- 46:49Speaker 4: with needed one for bloody ages. Don't know why we
- 46:50Speaker 4: haven't had one. It's got James Pugsley written on it.
- 46:54Speaker 4: That's me and the audience. The audience voted that James,
- 46:57Speaker 4: you should be in charge of the credit card. Thank you,
- 47:00Speaker 4: which is great, It's right. I had I had a
- 47:02Speaker 4: thought though, here we go, how we're like, no one
- 47:07Speaker 4: knows where we're all going to be right over the
- 47:09Speaker 4: course of Magic Grounds. Specifically, we might get split up.
- 47:12Speaker 4: You know, Jason is going to go to an art
- 47:13Speaker 4: gallery or something, you know, like Mowgi's who knows. I
- 47:16Speaker 4: don't even want to know. You know, it's a team thing,
- 47:19Speaker 4: so yeah, will be near each other, you know what
- 47:21Speaker 4: that will be. But I don't know if we will Well,
- 47:23Speaker 4: we might all get we might all get split up.
- 47:27Speaker 4: What I'm suggesting and I can't believe we didn't think
- 47:29Speaker 4: of this is why don't we all, yes, yes, he
- 47:33Speaker 4: gets it. Why don't we all have a copy of
- 47:36Speaker 4: the card on our phones, on our Apple walllets, yeah,
- 47:41Speaker 4: or the whatever equivalent of Google, the Google wallet, and
- 47:45Speaker 4: that way we've all got it. We all put our
- 47:47Speaker 4: hand up and say, hey, we only use this if
- 47:49Speaker 4: we get split up, and only for meals and essentials,
- 47:53Speaker 4: and what do you need the receipt afterwards? Pretty sure,
- 47:56Speaker 4: pretty easy to get a receipt afterwards, you know, as
- 47:58Speaker 4: long as we all remember to do that, take a
- 48:00Speaker 4: photo of the receipt. How does that sound?
- 48:02Speaker 3: I'm keen. I think I thought you were going to
- 48:04Speaker 3: say we could have a day each. Well, I mean
- 48:09Speaker 3: have it on Sunday.
- 48:10Speaker 4: I kind of want it the day that was Pane Friday,
- 48:14Speaker 4: Which is when do you want it?
- 48:16Speaker 2: Pegs, You're gonna have it on the Monday, and I
- 48:19Speaker 2: have it on the Saturday.
- 48:21Speaker 4: So the day we come home.
- 48:25Speaker 2: It could be slowly you should know, that's right.
- 48:29Speaker 4: I'm taking my sweet time.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah, but I also I'm not opposed to Keysy's idea.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I mean, God for bed, I you know, I'm in
- 48:36Speaker 2: a lovely cafe there, and I suddenly go, oh, bugger,
- 48:40Speaker 2: I've forgotten my wallet. Yeah, hang on, I got my
- 48:43Speaker 2: phone and my Google pay So that's.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Lucky exactly like Pugs, for example, you're not going to
- 48:51Speaker 4: look hoy J in the eye and say you don't
- 48:52Speaker 4: trust them with it? Are you?
- 48:54Speaker 1: Do?
- 48:54Speaker 4: You see me looking him in the eye?
- 48:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 48:56Speaker 4: I don't trust you? Yeah, okay, that's fair enough. But
- 48:59Speaker 4: what about old mog You know he's telling me to
- 49:01Speaker 4: look him in the eye. Yeah, you see me look
- 49:02Speaker 4: at him in the eye.
- 49:04Speaker 5: They're bolding, aren't they.
- 49:05Speaker 4: I don't trust you either.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair.
- 49:08Speaker 4: Now, whose name was on the card? You said it before?
- 49:11Speaker 6: James punk Yeah right okay, And who got voted to
- 49:13Speaker 6: look after the card?
- 49:14Speaker 2: James? Right?
- 49:15Speaker 6: Okay, No, I'm just chicking no sweet as a cool idea. Nice,
- 49:19Speaker 6: it does make sense. My people talk to your people. Okay,
- 49:25Speaker 6: so you're not keen for that.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Just pugsn has spoken some.
- 49:29Speaker 4: More wallet there, So okay, all right, try your damnedest. Okay,
- 49:34Speaker 4: I'll get it.
- 49:37Speaker 6: Wise words from.
- 49:41Speaker 2: It always gets me.
- 49:43Speaker 3: She's getting really good at this man.
- 49:44Speaker 2: You really can people.
- 49:45Speaker 3: I might not know this, but when Pugs comes and
- 49:47Speaker 3: he plays us lives.
- 49:48Speaker 4: Because I'm doing it so much. What's the name of
- 49:50Speaker 4: this instrument? Pugs?
- 49:51Speaker 3: What's that?
- 49:52Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 49:55Speaker 1: tune in.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Live there on the radio O Darky Big Show this
- 50:02Speaker 2: Wednesday evening the time six twenty six, Now fellows, the
- 50:05Speaker 2: actually should have brought this up in the show meeting.
- 50:06Speaker 2: And it's to do with our travels to Brizzy. I've
- 50:09Speaker 2: actually got a favor to ask. Now. We were talking
- 50:12Speaker 2: about this the other day packing. I understand that we
- 50:17Speaker 2: all have a bag that you know, what's it called
- 50:18Speaker 2: chicken bag.
- 50:19Speaker 4: We have chicken luggage is and carry on luggage It's
- 50:22Speaker 4: called again chicken chick chicken chicken luggage, chicken luggage.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Now it's my intention to ta just take on, you know, take.
- 50:33Speaker 3: On, carry on, carry on, take out, are you honestly man?
- 50:38Speaker 4: So you only want to carry on lugger.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Carry on luggage, right or just seven kg? Now? Because
- 50:43Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but I like to travel light,
- 50:47Speaker 2: you know, I don't like too much adman, and because
- 50:49Speaker 2: otherwise I end up doing a MOGI and just leaving
- 50:52Speaker 2: X seas and leaving them in lounges and on seat
- 50:57Speaker 2: on me.
- 50:58Speaker 4: But you do like traveling lightly because you went to
- 50:59Speaker 4: the bad and took a T shirt.
- 51:00Speaker 3: That's right, Yeah, that's true. But a way about seven
- 51:04Speaker 3: killows as well.
- 51:05Speaker 2: I was having a little pack last night, and what
- 51:07Speaker 2: I realized is that I'm a little bit over the
- 51:10Speaker 2: seven kg threshold, and so I thought, I don't I
- 51:14Speaker 2: really don't want to have to have a proper suitcase
- 51:18Speaker 2: situation here. I have to check it in and then
- 51:20Speaker 2: at the other end you got to go and peck
- 51:22Speaker 2: it up. It's just too much Edmund for me. So
- 51:25Speaker 2: my solution is, if you guys are open to this,
- 51:27Speaker 2: because you're all taking you know, carry on, that I
- 51:31Speaker 2: could distribute my excess carry on into your carry on,
- 51:38Speaker 2: you know, and you just break it up and I
- 51:40Speaker 2: can give pugs so I can give you some mogi
- 51:43Speaker 2: and I can give keysy something with you. That way,
- 51:46Speaker 2: I don't have to do the whole suitcase thing, and
- 51:48Speaker 2: I can still, you know, just take my carry on.
- 51:50Speaker 3: My carry on's full, so is it.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, you know what you could do, and I'd
- 51:56Speaker 4: be open to this. I was planning on just taking
- 51:58Speaker 4: carry on, but I could take a chick bag instead.
- 52:03Speaker 4: And that way you could give me that stuff and
- 52:05Speaker 4: I'll put it into a chick bag and then i'll
- 52:07Speaker 4: check that in. Would that work? Oh yeah, didn't work
- 52:10Speaker 4: because I could almost take all of it because how
- 52:12Speaker 4: much carry on? You've got seven kgs?
- 52:14Speaker 2: Wow, it's about nine cages. That's that's why I was
- 52:17Speaker 2: wanting to just rather than get a suitcase scenario happening,
- 52:21Speaker 2: just distribute it in your.
- 52:22Speaker 4: Carry instead of that. Instead of getting a suitcase scenario,
- 52:24Speaker 4: what you could do is you could give me all
- 52:26Speaker 4: of yours if you want old chicken in under my
- 52:27Speaker 4: name and a chick bag. Have you got a bag
- 52:30Speaker 4: big enough to take it off?
- 52:31Speaker 2: There's some stuff i'd rather you didn't have, Kisy, and
- 52:34Speaker 2: you're well, just stuff that that I'll have in my
- 52:37Speaker 2: personal belongings. So that's fine that I don't really want
- 52:41Speaker 2: you sort of being a part of what you don't
- 52:43Speaker 2: trust me with, getting your massive snarls in there and
- 52:45Speaker 2: having a little look in the toilet bag and going
- 52:47Speaker 2: oh hello. So it's more just yet a couple of
- 52:51Speaker 2: T shirts, a couple of pairs of undies, some socks,
- 52:54Speaker 2: maybe some shoes, that sort of thing, rather than anything major. Yeah,
- 52:59Speaker 2: you're good with that.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Yeah, well I can help you out, make you you're
- 53:02Speaker 4: not helping at all.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Well I don't need to because you're helping out. Yeah,
- 53:05Speaker 3: I'm talking about So you've got nine kilos to take,
- 53:09Speaker 3: but you've got seven kilos allowance. So you need Keysy
- 53:11Speaker 3: to take a suitcase in which you'll put two kilos
- 53:14Speaker 3: of your staff. Put it into a bag, a bag
- 53:17Speaker 3: that will get checked in. Then when we land in Brisbane,
- 53:19Speaker 3: you'll stand next to Kezy while he waits for that
- 53:21Speaker 3: suitcase to come out and then grab it off and
- 53:25Speaker 3: you'll be there.
- 53:25Speaker 2: For all of that. Is that what we're doing? I
- 53:27Speaker 2: mean i'd be outside waiting in the sun.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Oh what would you be doing?
- 53:31Speaker 2: Just yeah wow, No, I wouldn't be doing that. Just
- 53:34Speaker 2: getting a bit of fresh air in the lungs because
- 53:36Speaker 2: I get very ansty when I fly. You know what,
- 53:38Speaker 2: I need to get out of the airport as quickly
- 53:40Speaker 2: as possible, not for Hoidy j the faffing around waiting
- 53:44Speaker 2: for luggage to arrive on the conveyor belt. Right, Okay,
- 53:47Speaker 2: so I've got a specific two kg package. If you
- 53:51Speaker 2: could just put.
- 53:52Speaker 4: That two cages of T shirts for you Wow.
- 53:56Speaker 2: It'll be miscelaine. Let's just say miscellaneous. If you could
- 53:59Speaker 2: put that two you beg drugs to take your suitcase,
- 54:02Speaker 2: I'd appreciate that.
- 54:03Speaker 4: Keezy, is it drugs?
- 54:04Speaker 2: And just that call when you take it through that's all.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Is it drugs?
- 54:13Speaker 4: A good soul and answer the question.
- 54:15Speaker 2: It doesn't matter what it is. It's just that you're
- 54:18Speaker 2: doing it for me.
- 54:20Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Darchy.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Well, there you go, your mad bad It's a big
- 54:33Speaker 2: Joe done and dusted for this Wednesday evening. Now we
- 54:37Speaker 2: do a bit of bonus material before we start every show,
- 54:40Speaker 2: and it's called the podcast outro. Yes, if you love
- 54:43Speaker 2: your podcast, go and check it out wherever you get them.
- 54:46Speaker 2: What's the clip today from the podcast outro? Keazy?
- 54:49Speaker 4: Today's clip is entitled run over and it comes out
- 54:52Speaker 4: at seven thirty tonight.
- 54:55Speaker 3: If you're going across the road while looking at your phone,
- 54:57Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 54:58Speaker 2: I agree, it's you know what I mean?
- 55:01Speaker 4: One of them was quite an attractive young woman.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Well, I mean the fact that she was attractive is
- 55:05Speaker 2: neither he nor I worry.
- 55:07Speaker 3: About this show. I really do. That is if this
- 55:09Speaker 3: is the future of the show.
- 55:11Speaker 2: I agree, it got worse. It got so much worse,
- 55:17Speaker 2: So go and check out the podcast out trow.
- 55:20Speaker 4: I'm actually in trouble on that though I was just joking.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Around, certainly didn't come across that way. The tone of it,
- 55:28Speaker 3: you know, there was real.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Hatred, you know when.
- 55:32Speaker 4: What I know, it's all good to say, you know,
- 55:35Speaker 4: when we just just.
- 55:38Speaker 2: You instinctively know when someone's crossed the line, you know.
- 55:41Speaker 2: And I saw Pugs screw up his face, and that's
- 55:46Speaker 2: always a sign when you started on that chat.
- 55:49Speaker 4: So I apologize for it now.
- 55:50Speaker 2: No, there's no coming out from it.
- 55:55Speaker 3: What I really worry about is that episode of Woman's Day,
- 55:58Speaker 3: because once.
- 55:59Speaker 4: Say no, how do you come out in episodes to that?
- 56:01Speaker 3: Yeah, the next episode is going to be a shocker.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Hey, Mogie, what's the plan tonight?
- 56:09Speaker 3: I'll just walk home and take things from their men.
- 56:12Speaker 3: No big plans, probably finish off gone life. Man, it's
- 56:15Speaker 3: pretty boring. I'm really just waiting till magic round at
- 56:19Speaker 3: the moment and I sort of wait up, wake up
- 56:21Speaker 3: in the middle of the night, and I am excited.
- 56:24Speaker 3: I'm going to holding pair in it. I said that
- 56:26Speaker 3: first to you before Keezy don't use my phrase.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Now you're stealing other people's bloody content content.
- 56:33Speaker 4: It's afraid you did it.
- 56:36Speaker 3: And so all I know is you can't fight your
- 56:39Speaker 3: DNA when it comes to sink and piss chase. So
- 56:42Speaker 3: come Friday, old Muggie is going to be on it responsibly.
- 56:46Speaker 2: It's so funny you should say that, because I was
- 56:50Speaker 2: sitting here about five minutes ago, going we're off tomorrow,
- 56:54Speaker 2: and then I went, I want to hang on ye
- 56:56Speaker 2: ahead of another show to go? Yeah, what's your tea tonight?
- 56:59Speaker 4: Keezy like a chicken stair froe rice thing. Oh good,
- 57:04Speaker 4: it's not their bed, Jace, What are you doing tonight? No, man,
- 57:09Speaker 4: he's so dnah, he's ready to go.
- 57:10Speaker 3: I'm over it now for those light galories.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Man, he's already there.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Tell you like see Tom I
