- 0:00Speaker 1: Thoughts on opening.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Night we won, you know, there were some you know,
- 0:03Speaker 2: there were We did a lot of good things to
- 0:05Speaker 2: get up almost thirty and then we made some big
- 0:08Speaker 2: plays when we had to down the stretch when they
- 0:10Speaker 2: started to cut into the lead. But we did a
- 0:11Speaker 2: lot of stuff in between that that we can get
- 0:14Speaker 2: home and work on getting ready for our next game.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Kk really good offensively in the first half.
- 0:19Speaker 2: She did a lot of really good things, you know,
- 0:20Speaker 2: I think being able to get downhill and finish in
- 0:24Speaker 2: the lane and knock in well one three and I
- 0:27Speaker 2: guess the other was on the line. But you know,
- 0:30Speaker 2: people are gonna if they choose to play off or
- 0:32Speaker 2: she's gonna have to make those shots, and it was
- 0:34Speaker 2: good for her to make those tonight.
- 0:35Speaker 1: All right, Azy and Sarah were the contents on offense.
- 0:37Speaker 1: But Kaylie Heckel gave you some really good minutes in
- 0:40Speaker 1: this one.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Kaylie, did you know she had came in and she
- 0:44Speaker 2: sees the floor really well. She's a physical defender. She
- 0:46Speaker 2: you know, is going to probably become one of our
- 0:48Speaker 2: best perimeter defenders. But she did a lot of really
- 0:52Speaker 2: good things. We just you know, in situations we overpassed
- 0:56Speaker 2: at some points. We didn't knock in threes and if
- 0:58Speaker 2: you would have told me before they and that they
- 1:00Speaker 2: would make more threes than we would, I would have
- 1:02Speaker 2: been surprised. But we got open looks, which is part
- 1:04Speaker 2: of the battle.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Is that part of the reason why Louisville was able
- 1:07Speaker 1: to come back making shots versus not making them.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah, they made. We had some miscommunication on the defensive
- 1:13Speaker 2: end with some switches and giving up some threes to
- 1:16Speaker 2: kids that we knew were capable of making them. So
- 1:19Speaker 2: that was on us. But they made a bunch more shots,
- 1:22Speaker 2: and like I said, we against their zone, we didn't.
- 1:26Speaker 2: We had open looks, we didn't finish, and we overpassed
- 1:28Speaker 2: a little bit against the zone too, I think.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Okay, thoughts on what Sarah did tonight, Sarah Strong, I'm sorry,
- 1:35Speaker 1: there's two I forgot about that.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You know what, you look at the numbers and I
- 1:43Speaker 2: didn't think she had one of her best games for us,
- 1:46Speaker 2: but that you know, she has a standard that's just
- 1:48Speaker 2: so high. She did it, made big plays when she
- 1:50Speaker 2: had to make them down the stretch, So I you know,
- 1:54Speaker 2: that's that gives you a comfort level knowing that even
- 1:58Speaker 2: if she doesn't make them a three. For even three
- 2:00Speaker 2: or four minutes at a stretch, you know that it's coming.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And she made them when we need her to make them.
- 2:05Speaker 1: All right, very good,
