SPEAKER_00: Moses, you throw the ashes into the air in front of Pharaoh.
• 1:38
SPEAKER_00: This will become dust that will go throughout the land of Egypt.

SPEAKER_00: Whenever the dust touches a person or an animal in Egypt, sores will break out on the skin.

• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: Moses threw the ashes into the air and sores began breaking out on people and animals.

SPEAKER_00: This happened everywhere in Egypt, but the Lord made Pharaoh stubborn, so he refused to listen to Moses and Aaron just as the Lord had said The Hail.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_00: Then the Lord said to Moses, Get up in the morning and go to Pharaoh.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_00: Tell him that the Lord the God of the Hebrews says, Let my people go to worship me.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_00: This time I will use my full power against you, your officials, and your people.
• 2:48
SPEAKER_00: Then you will know that there is no God in the world like me.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_00: I could use my power and cause a disease that would wipe you and your people off the earth.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_00: But I have put you here for a reason.
• 3:05
SPEAKER_00: I have put you here so that I can show you my power.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_00: Then people all over the world will learn about me.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_00: You are still against my people.
• 3:17
SPEAKER_00: You are not letting them go free.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: So at this time tomorrow I will cause a very bad hailstorm.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_00: There has never been a hail storm like this in Egypt, not since Egypt became a nation.
• 3:33
SPEAKER_00: Now you must put your animals in a safe place.
• 3:37
SPEAKER_00: Everything you own that is now in the fields must be put in a safe place.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_00: Any person or animal that remains in the fields will be killed.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_00: The hail will fall on everything that is not gathered into your houses.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_00: Some of Pharaoh's officials paid attention to the Lord's message.
• 4:01
SPEAKER_00: They quickly put all of their animals and slaves into their houses.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: But other people ignored the Lord's message and lost all of their slaves and animals that were in the field.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_00: The Lord told Moses, Raise your hand into the air and hail will start falling all over Egypt.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_00: The hail will fall on the people, animals and plants in all the fields of Egypt.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: So Moses raised his walking stick into the air, and the Lord sent hail with thunder and lightning down on the earth.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_00: The Lord caused hail to fall all over Egypt.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_00: The hail was falling and lightning was flashing all through it.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_00: It was the worst hail storm that had ever hit Egypt since it became a nation.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_00: The storm destroyed everything in the fields of Egypt.
• 5:02
SPEAKER_00: The hail destroyed people, animals and plants.
• 5:07
SPEAKER_00: The hail also broke all the trees in the fields.
• 5:11
SPEAKER_00: The only place that did not get hail was in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_00: Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron and told them This time I have sinned.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_00: The Lord is right, and I and my people are wrong.
• 5:33
SPEAKER_00: We have had enough of this hail and thunder.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: Ask the Lord to stop the storm and I will let you go.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_00: You don't have to stay here.
• 5:45
SPEAKER_00: Moses told Pharaoh, When I leave the city, I will lift my hands in prayer to the Lord, and the thunder and hail will stop.
• 5:56
SPEAKER_00: Then you will know that the Lord is in this land, but I know that you and your officials don't really fear and respect the Lord yet.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_00: The flax had already developed its seeds and the barley was already blooming, so these plants were destroyed, but wheat and spelt ripened later than the other grains, so these plants were not destroyed.
• 6:26
SPEAKER_00: Moses left Pharaoh and went outside of the city.
• 6:31
SPEAKER_00: He lifted his hands in prayer to the Lord, and the thunder and hail stopped, and even the rain stopped.
• 6:39
SPEAKER_00: When Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had stopped, he again did wrong.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: He and his officials became stubborn again.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_00: Pharaoh refused to let the Israelites go free, just as the Lord had said through Moses.
