- 0:01Here we are in the judgment zone. We have somebody who finds himself in
- 0:04a sticky situation. We try to help him out. We get a little
- 0:07judge because it's okay. Seven oh one two eight zero one ninety eight seven
- 0:10would love to hear your thoughts. Her name is Audrey. She's on the
- 0:13phone now. Good morning, Audrey. How you doing, Hi, guys,
- 0:16I'm doing. I'm doing okay. Well, welcome to the judgment zone.
- 0:19It sounds like a sticky one, so why don't you tell us what's
- 0:22going on? The situation is my best friend and I who have known each
- 0:25other since we were teens, Like we grew up together, we went to
- 0:28school together. She and her husband have two kids, a seven year old
- 0:32and a four year old boy, which is great because I also have a
- 0:35two year old daughter and she loves playing with her kids. When we get
- 0:38together. It's then a really big issue. Her son's behavior is her son
- 0:44is just he's awful. Behavior is terrible. I mean, he's mean,
- 0:49he's aggressive to my daughter. He'll like shove her and like snatch her toys
- 0:54out of her hands. But my friend ever corrects them or anything like that.
- 0:57She like never makes him apologize she accept the behavior, or does she
- 1:02ever just like, hey, is she just kind of soft with them?
- 1:03You know how some people, especially around other people, just be like,
- 1:07hey, let's not act like that kind of sugarcoating it or just oblivious to
- 1:11not even that, not even no. It feels like she's oblivious and like
- 1:15she just accepts it. Just one more thing over the weekend. So we
- 1:19were at her house and he threw my daughter's shoe at her. So I
- 1:23walked over and I said, that wasn't nice. You need to apologize,
- 1:26please, Yeah, and then she started to cry. I don't know what
- 1:30you who throws a shoe? Honestly? I mean bush league moving the kids
- 1:34part. So you're wondering, you know, do you say something? Because
- 1:37I feel like we're to the point now where you got to have a conversation
- 1:40with this lady and is she married? Yes, Okay, this is uncomfortable.
- 1:45She's your best friend, and I mean, I guess I kind of
- 1:47have kids around that same age. I know that this kid is four going
- 1:49through probably emotions whatever, but what is happening is affecting your daughter and you
- 1:55have to be a protective mom, Like that's not okay. Thank you.
- 1:59Yeah, that's gonna wor I'm coming from too. Also tricky because this is
- 2:01your best friend and you want to be able to hang out with each other,
- 2:05I imagine. So it's much like when you know, you first start
- 2:07dating people and if you don't get along with their partner, it makes it
- 2:09hard, and now with kids makes it even harder to hang out if the
- 2:13kids aren't getting along. So let's see what people think. What should we
- 2:15do? What should Audrey be doing? Here? The judgment zone is open
- 2:19seven on one two eight oh one ninety eighty seven. All right, so
- 2:22we already got a call here. What's the name ran? Yeah, I've
- 2:24got Brian onlineline. Good morning Brian. So as a husband, I can
- 2:28say this. I honestly think it's time for this lady's husband a man up
- 2:31and handle the situation, especially you know it's her best friend. You should
- 2:37be talking to the dad and handling the behavior. And you know sometimes a
- 2:40nice man and man conversation is to get it done. Okay, So calling
- 2:45out the husband, I don't know where he was in all of this.
- 2:47It sounds like he might not have even been there, but you think it's
- 2:50time for him just to stick his nose right in the middle of the situation.
- 2:53Well, it's more so, you know, their best friend. Though
- 2:57of course her interfering and and overdoing it is going to tend to create a
- 3:02risk between their friendship, whereas like if the husband and the other husband just
- 3:07have a thought about it, it's kind of probably less dramatic. It's just
- 3:10more like, you know, top to your son. Yeah, totally makes
- 3:14sense. Okay, well, Brian, thanks for the call man. Yeah,
- 3:15sure, day What do you think what should she do? It's kind
- 3:19of a tricky one, Amanda. Yeah, easier said than done to cause
- 3:22for me, I mean, if it's your best friend, I would feel
- 3:24comfortable just having that conversation. Hey, our kids not saying you need to
- 3:28put it on your kid, but our kids clearly aren't getting along. This
- 3:30is uncomfortable, This isn't fun for either of us right Now's handle it kind
- 3:34of thing, you know what I mean? Like maybe a laugh like oh
- 3:37that doesn't really like my daughter, boy, that can't be Dayton in high
- 3:40school later on, or that kind of thing, joking through it a little
- 3:45bit, but otherwise you do have to have a serious conversation. Well,
- 3:46what do you think what does she do? Seven on one two eight oh
- 3:50one ninety eight seven. We're in the judgment zone, So get a little
- 3:52judge. You let us know. I get Amanda in the morning. Seven,
- 3:55Good morning, big ninety eight point seven. Who's this. My name's
- 3:58Tessa. I'm just calling to be a little judge. Y. We like
- 4:02it, okay. So my biggest thing, like, I definitely think,
- 4:06yes, you can correct anybody's behavior. That's kind of what I do for
- 4:10a living. But my other part of it is that I hate, hate,
- 4:14hate when people make people apologize. I get you should have you should
- 4:16teach your kids to say that they're sorry, But at the same time,
- 4:19to me, if they don't mean it, you're teaching them to lie.
- 4:23My big thing is you should always check on them, so ask them if
- 4:26they're okay. I mean, you can always have them check on their okay
- 4:29and feel their feelings that way. But if you're like myself, if someone
- 4:32tells me to say sorry and I don't mean it, I don't mean it.
- 4:34Oh yeah, I remember. It's the same for four year olds and
- 4:38any age. Actually, yeah, I remember being a kid and my mom
- 4:41constantly saying say sorry, and not one time was I sincere when I say
- 4:46sorry, I said sorry. So do you think she should talk to this
- 4:47mom directly then, or what are your thoughts on that? I mean,
- 4:51yes, I do think that, especially if they're best friends. You can
- 4:55always have those hard conversations with your best friend, That's what I think,
- 4:59even if it is about you. I mean also, I think she might
- 5:01be open to that too, because she has to know and maybe maybe I'm
- 5:06wrong that her kid is being a little rough, right, so maybe she'll
- 5:11be open to that. Yeah. No, I definitely agree with that.
- 5:14Are you like a therapist or what you said you is kind of what you
- 5:17do for a living. So I'm a behavior tech so I just work with
- 5:21kids that have like a harder time with their behaviors and their feelings. So
- 5:26yeah, oh not no therapist. I have not gone to school for many
- 5:29years. I mean, it sounds like you're definitely probably familiar with these sort
- 5:32of situations. So good to have an expert on the airth Thank you very
- 5:35much. Thanks, all right, we got a text, Amanda. We
- 5:39do the two moms need to have a conversation. If they're as good a
- 5:42friends as this woman says, then she needs to be able to have that
- 5:44open and clear conversation about boundaries with their kids, because the kids come first
- 5:48over their friendship. I hope that helped her because it is and I can
- 5:51see how it's easy to go, oh, I don't want to have that
- 5:54conversation, but you gotta. I mean, you've got to protect your kids.
- 5:57I think so. I think we're ready to make a final judgement here
- 6:00in the judgment zone. Talk to her, be honest. At the risk
- 6:02of your friendship. You just have to let her know how you feel.
- 6:05And you know, I think most of us do this or you overthink this
- 6:09situation. She's probably not going to be as upset like you're. You're probably
- 6:13just a sensitive and uncomfortable having in the conversation. Once she do it,
- 6:15it's like, all right, let's go have a mom mosa. We're good.
- 6:18Take in a minute in the morning. Ninety seven. Do you feel
- 6:21good about this? This guy was on an airplane. He rode online because
- 6:26at himself an interesting situation sitting in an aisle seat, and he paid for
- 6:30the aisle seat because he has a medical condition where he basically has to go
- 6:33to the bathroom a lot. Yep, and so easy access, right,
- 6:36Well, a pregnant woman approached him, and she said she needs to be
- 6:42near the bathroom because, well, she's pregnant. You've been pregnant twice.
- 6:45Yeah, a lot of bathroom breaks, I imagine. Well, especially yeah,
- 6:48once you start getting the pressure and you're ready to pop. Sometimes,
- 6:53if I got to go to the bathroom, I gotta go now. Yeah,
- 6:55So he said he did not agree to switch seats with her. He
- 6:59said, no, I mean I've got the medical condition. Yeah, Like
- 7:00I feel for you. You're pregnant, but as we all know, if
- 7:04there's a certain seat you'd like to sit in, you gotta buy the seat.
- 7:09That's very true for me anyway. So do you feel for her?
- 7:13Because then she got the flight attendants involved, which is super annoying. They
- 7:17refuse to step in and mediate in any way, and so she's upset.
- 7:21I'm sorry if if you want to be near the bathroom, he didn't pay
- 7:25for a seat. I guess your best bet is maybe just to go into
- 7:28the bathroom, take a seat, and lock the door and just stay there.
- 7:31And I get it, we're all guilty of just kind of winging it
- 7:34with all. We'll just see what happens. If it's gonna save me thirty
- 7:36forty bucks. Sweet. Sure, But this guy, this guy, you
- 7:43got a medical condition. Of course you're gonna need to be and you've you've
- 7:47paid for it for that reason, he's not being a tool. I don't
- 7:50care if he's got a medical condition or he's the healthiest man alive. If
- 7:54somebody asked me to switch seats, it's like a no the time. In
- 7:59fact, in fact, I sort of in a sick way welcome people asking
- 8:03because I love to be able to go. No, I paid for the
- 8:05seat. This is I want to sit here unless you got money on you.
- 8:07And guess what the price gone up since I paid for it. Okay,
- 8:11so what if you had bought a seat in aisle? It's a eighteen
- 8:16and there's a family in seveneen A so it's just it's one one seat difference.
- 8:22Don't care. But they want to sit with their kids, you won't.
- 8:26You won't. Oh, now they want to sit When they were booking,
- 8:28they didn't want to sit with their kids. It just they had three
- 8:31kids and it just didn't work. And going back to the bathroom thing,
- 8:33if you want to sit near the bathroom, like the cheapest seat you can
- 8:37get is the one that's like right next to the bathroom in the very back
- 8:39of the plane. I mean, it's like eight dollars, So why didn't
- 8:41you just get that? Because nobody wants to sit back there, because you
- 8:45got a bunch of people going in and out of the bathroom. So you
- 8:48buy your seat on every trip. No, I'll do this though sometimes if
- 8:52somebody if they don't know that, they don't know that. So if somebody
- 8:56asked me and they don't know, I didn't So even if it's a middle
- 9:01seat, I'm like, no, sorry, I paid for this because I
- 9:03want to sit in the middle. Somebody, though, I will say,
- 9:05we were just coming back from our trip in December, and Lauren and I
- 9:09like, on the way to wherever we're going, we'll always buy the seats
- 9:13to sitting next to each other because you know, you're excited, you want
- 9:15to be chatting. But on the way home from a vacation, no interest
- 9:18in talking. Why could you spend time with your wife? Now you don't
- 9:20want that's just my wife. If you and I went on trip, I
- 9:24would say we could sit next to each other on the way there, but
- 9:26on the way back, I have no interest in sitting by you if I
- 9:30can save myself sixteen dollars, but so we did. So anyway, We're
- 9:35on this allegiant flight coming home and we were so we got lucky, you
- 9:39know, cause you check in at the same time, you're usually close.
- 9:43So I was on one side of the aisle and she was on the other,
- 9:46and I'm in a middle seat, and so I happened to be sitting
- 9:48I'm in the window. So I happened to be sitting next to this elderly
- 9:50couple and I started chatting with them and I'm like, yeah, we're just
- 9:54coming back. We live here, blah blah. They lived in Grafton or
- 9:56something, and I mentioned that my wife was on the other siete and the
- 10:00guy was offended. The guy's like, why are you not sitting by your
- 10:03wife. I'm like, wow, you know, because I just spent a
- 10:07week with her. How are you possibly, after all these years, still
- 10:09sitting by yours? I can't believe it. So he insisted that we switched
- 10:15seat, that they switch seats so that I could sit next door. I'm
- 10:18like, really, sir, so you made elderly move. I literally insisted.
- 10:24I said, no, you don't have to, and he just was
- 10:26so adamant about it, like he felt like he felt like he was really
- 10:28saving the day. And I didn't want to be like, hey, dude,
- 10:31like truly, I'm fine. In fact, I'd rather be sitting in
- 10:33this window seat so I can lean my little head against it. Wow,
- 10:37what's wrong with you? What's wrong with you? He's just a judgy And
- 10:41I'm not judge. You are, No. I just I feel like you
- 10:43don't need to get people riled up. It's like, hey, what if
- 10:46it's easy for you, it's not affecting me. Take my seat. I
- 10:50don't care. No a man that's no life is too short to not get
- 10:56upset about this kind of star content. Now here's what you need some Now.
- 11:00Well, we had breaking news yesterday. Governor Burgham announced that he will
- 11:03not seek a third term as governor, which is I guess pretty much expected
- 11:07after last week. It was President Trump who was endorsing Governor Burgham, basically
- 11:13saying, hey, thank you for you jumping on board and endorsing me,
- 11:18and just so you know, we're gonna have a place for you, likely
- 11:20on the Trump administration. If that happened, well, I was gonna say,
- 11:22I mean, there's still some steps to get to that point, you
- 11:26would have to win the election, in which case, I mean, if
- 11:28you're Burgram, if that's the sole reason you didn't want to be the governor,
- 11:31just banking on that, but that could backfire. So it'll all conclude
- 11:35on December fourteenth here in good old North Dakota. Wow, isn't that your
- 11:39birthday? Nope, that's the sixteenth, A couple of days before that.
- 11:41I never remember that. He didn't want to ruin my birthday? Are you
- 11:46a kidding me? Very classy of Doug Right and California officials accuse a twenty
- 11:50three year old woman of stealing twenty five hundred dollars worth of Stanley cups And
- 11:54how many of that is? A like six of them? Yeah? Funny,
- 12:00funny joke. Boy, They're expansive, aren't they. What I loved
- 12:03is And you know when police departments just kind of troll the internet, everyone's
- 12:07a while to have a good picture, and you're like, that's just great.
- 12:11I love that you did that. I like my police departments to have
- 12:13a totally Well, they ended up doing that. So the police ended up
- 12:18sharing this image. It was sixty five Stanley's on the hood of this vehicle
- 12:24for twenty five hundred dollars. Just hilarious. Were they just selling them in
- 12:28the black market or well she was probably planning to ye, I mean think
- 12:31about it. I didn't see a pink one on there. Say how many
- 12:33winter pink ones? Yeah? A couple of them. I'm like, you
- 12:37just old that. Yeah, I mean, come on, lock her up?
- 12:41And so we gotta try this. The latest kiktok food trend has a
- 12:45lot of people divided. And you're a big ice cream guy. Yes,
- 12:48what you do is you put ice cream with a little bit of olive oil
- 12:50in salt on it. Yees. So they're saying the olive oil adds texture
- 12:56to the ice cream and then of course there's that salty sweet kind of flavor.
- 13:01But they're saying you need to do flaky sea salt, not just table
- 13:03salt. That's bizarre to me, and I love ice cream asses. I
- 13:07don't think I need olive oil, And not to mention, olive oil is
- 13:09really for two things, cooking and oiling yourself up before that grease up?
- 13:15Are you getting this confused with coconut oil? I don't think so. No,
- 13:18Nope, Okay, do a Lipa. I know you're a huge fan
- 13:20of her. She's a huge fan of this combo. I guess back in
- 13:24two thousand and nine, there's a place in New York City that started this,
- 13:28and she was one of the people to kind of really tell everybody about
- 13:31it. The lather up Okay, I'm kidding, all right, some ice
- 13:37cream, olive oil and salt for what kind of toppy time. I'm kidding.
- 13:43I'm very I love her music and she's got a new album on the
- 13:46way. It sounds like, yeah, yeah, she says, very raw.
- 13:48That's what I read this morning. Interesting. Yeah, I'm excited.
- 13:52Thanks for the fun facts this morning. Put there's a lot. I mean,
- 13:54in four minutes, we just crammed it a lot of fun. Sure
- 13:56did all right, And hey, folks, we're just getting started. Like
- 14:03a man in the morning on Big Nuddy eight points. You know, when
- 14:07he meets somebody right away, even without knowing it, you're judging them.
- 14:09Everybody says, oh, don't be judging, but it's impossible not too.
- 14:13It's called subconsciously judging someone. And apparently for sure there's three things that this
- 14:18by I'm talking about a fancy title biological anthropologist, Helen Fisher says, we
- 14:24subconsciously judge people on quite the title I took anthropology in college. I think
- 14:28you had to the worst thing I've ever done. News flashya didn't have to.
- 14:33Not a chance that I take anthropology. Well, you also went to
- 14:35a community scho It is so not true. I went to Metropolitan State College
- 14:39of Denver, Colorado. Wasn't it in the mall? No, get out
- 14:43of here, no anyway. So this anthropology biological anthropologist said that the three
- 14:50things that you judge somebody on subconsciously right when you meet them. First of
- 14:52all, their teeth, Okay, I mean it is you look right at
- 14:56it and you Ever when you meet somebody is the worst thing when you have
- 15:00eye contact going and then you could tell they start glancing elsewhere and they're gonna
- 15:03lock in, like on your teeth or your hair, Like what are you
- 15:05looking at? Yes, there is somebody we work with that gives you the
- 15:09rundown. I mean, like head to toe while you're consistently talking and the
- 15:13whole time I'm like, you would think that I'm like a baseball player giving
- 15:18somebody things. It's like, okay, is my ear isn't my hair like
- 15:20you're sitting there like patting yourself down, like looking in your teeth, and
- 15:24then they walk out and you're like, I'm fine, were you just like
- 15:26looking at me very uncomfortable? Oh, they just jealous. It's just weird.
- 15:30That's just all well, your teeth apparently though, that's one you know.
- 15:33It is true people notice teeth a lot more than I do. I'm
- 15:35not one that notices teeth. Also, there's a lot of things I don't
- 15:37notice. People notice when people are wearing rings, for example, like oh,
- 15:41yeah they're married. I'm like, I couldn't have told you that.
- 15:43Yeah, yeah, ee, not something I pay attention to. Right Number
- 15:46Two. Subconsciously, the thing you judge people when you meet them is their
- 15:50grammar. I don't know how subconscious that is, I guess. So if
- 15:54it's obviously a ridden thing. If they're like, let's say, applying for
- 15:56a job, and you're reading a resume or an email and it's got some
- 15:58type was in it, immediately I'm gonna take you a little less seriously.
- 16:03I might be the one who doesn't notice the typos unless it it underlines it
- 16:07for me, so I might need the problem. But if I'm having a
- 16:10conversation mostly like oh, yeah, I've seen that, and I'll go,
- 16:14huh yeah. Number three, the thing you notice is somebody's confidence. That's
- 16:18definitely a subconscious one. I would never note, so I would never say,
- 16:22oh my gosh, did you did you notice the striking confidence on that
- 16:26guy? Yeah? But if you confidently say I seen that you have a
- 16:29good smile, it's like you start start to question yourself. I know,
- 16:33maybe that maybe that is the proper waces. What's something you noticed though?
- 16:37Right when you meet somebody? What somebody you judge them on? For me,
- 16:40it is eyes and eye contact instantly, if you're not giving me good
- 16:44eye contact and it's very uncomfortable, or you don't have like a smile,
- 16:48yeah, I cannot stand that. There's such a fine line though, of
- 16:52like too much eye contact and then not enough, and I'm definitely I definitely
- 16:56lean towards not enough. I don't even think about it sometimes, but I
- 16:59will, like I didn't even look that person in the eye once, Like
- 17:02right now, you just had that whole conversation. Everything you just said,
- 17:03you weren't looking at me. Well, and that's no. But that's weird
- 17:07because we're having a conversation right now, I feel like, and you're still
- 17:10not looking at me. I don't know, I do I ever, it
- 17:12was the only two were the only two people in this room. I can
- 17:15hear you just fine, and you can hear me. It's one thing if
- 17:18we're reading something or like taking note or multitasking, but the fact to I'm
- 17:22right now we're having you can't look at me. I got to these computer
- 17:26monitors. I got a lot to look at. Okay, and I know
- 17:29what you look like. I've already seen your teeth. I've already judged you
- 17:32on your grammar. I don't need to look at you. I noticed right
- 17:33away. Is somebody like their conversation? You know, if immediately you know
- 17:38what kind of person they are. If it's like, Okay, this is
- 17:41a person that's just gonna want to sit here and talk about them, right
- 17:45yep. And I can try as hard as I want to interject or the
- 17:48direction back and forth the conversation, but at the end of the day,
- 17:51they're only going to be interested in talking about them. The second I start
- 17:52sharing anything about me, you can see their eyes just it drains out of
- 17:57them any interested all They're like, well, I don't care. And then
- 18:00you're like they tried to small talk with you, like you you really you've
- 18:04given me I'm not yeah, nothing, No, I'm right over here back.
- 18:08I don't want to look at you. Why do you want me to
- 18:11look at you so much? It's just the fact that we're having a combo.
- 18:14This might start bothering me. I guess I've never really paid attention to
- 18:17how much you don't have icon. You know, some people do this thing
- 18:19in other rooms. Frasier on that show, he was in a different room
- 18:22as his co host. Maybe we ought to do that. Can we can
- 18:26we get a new arrangement and here take it from home, because that would
- 18:27be for start wearing sunglasses and you don't wear them. Like, get a
- 18:30minute in the morning, come get up on dig. If somebody jacks your
- 18:36lunch at work, that's so rich, it's totally out of bounds. This
- 18:40guy, though I wrote online, was having issues at work. Somebody kept
- 18:42stealing his lunch out of the breakroom fridge. So this is just bizarre to
- 18:48me. Okay, just wait, So my man goes to the doctor.
- 18:51This is unrelated to the food getting stolen, but apparently he's got a good
- 18:56vibe with his doctor because he was just chatting it up and he just happened
- 18:59to be complaining about the food getting stolen at work. Got it like a
- 19:03nice little small topic. Oh so what are you in for? Oh I'm
- 19:07sorry, doctor, I've had a tough day. Somebody stole my lunch.
- 19:11But I do have this wart on my foot if we could talk about it.
- 19:14So the doctor looks at him and says, oh, you're constipated then,
- 19:19and the guy goes, what, no, why, And the doctor
- 19:22said, well, you're constipated. I'm going to have to write you a
- 19:26prescription for some laxatives with instructions to quote, mix it in with your meal
- 19:32for maximum effect. And at that point he said he knew the plan.
- 19:37Huh, you get what I'm putting down here. Doctor, after hearing him
- 19:40complain about somebody stealing his food, had this brilliant idea. You know what,
- 19:44Oh my gosh, the doctor's in on a little like revenge. Yeah.
- 19:47Doctor said, well, here's what we'll do. Write you a prescription
- 19:49for some laxatives, put it in your food, and then we'll find out
- 19:53who the culprit is. So the guy goes, oh, yeah, well,
- 19:56you're right, doctor, I sure am constipated? Boy am I bad?
- 20:00Up? So he gets a prescription, does what the doctor told him
- 20:03to do, mixes it in with his lunch, puts it in the break
- 20:07room fridge, and waits. Doctor, I can't well, what do you
- 20:11know? The food goes missing again, this time though, he reports it
- 20:15to HR because not only did somebody steal his food, they've stolen his prescription,
- 20:22which it is apparently a felony. So now the HR is involved.
- 20:25Oh wait, so you weren't waiting to see who went to the bathroom you
- 20:27were? Well, they found out who. They must have used a camera.
- 20:32They find a culprit. It was a guy in a different department,
- 20:34obviously was not feeling well because he was full of laxatives. So then this
- 20:38guy tries to accuse the other dude whose lunch was of trying to poison him.
- 20:42The guy's like, no, I wasn't trying to poison you. I
- 20:45have a medical condition, a fake one nonetheless, that the doctor made up,
- 20:48and his constipation. So apparently the guy got fired, he had to
- 20:52get a lawyer involved, and apparently he got convicted and the guy had to
- 20:55go do some community service. A roster and our person a lawyer, a
- 21:03sandwich. This is a lot a lot of players here. Oh it's your
- 21:07favorite damn Lutch look. And everyone's like, oh, I want a doctor
- 21:11like that. I don't know. This is not a good look for doctors.
- 21:15Is this what's going on out there? That are the doctor and the
- 21:17lawyer in on this together? Well side, I'll scratch you back. I
- 21:22got another one coming your way, Todd. This one's constipated in the morning,
- 21:29Big Naty eight point seven, No, Amanda Stills the sea. Let's
- 21:33see. I felt like it was a little harsh by saying this, But
- 21:37at the same time, there's something going on with Kanye and his wife Bianca
- 21:41that I'm just not okay with. He's parading her around as though she's a
- 21:45trophy or like she should be on a leash and everything he says she does,
- 21:49it's that crazy. Did he have her on a leash like a week
- 21:52ago? Maybe she had that thing around her neck, Maybe there was Maybe
- 21:56that's why I'm thinking about it. I truly I think, you know,
- 21:57God, we should go if it had done this research, I feel like
- 22:00he had a leash on her. Well, yesterday they were spotted coming out
- 22:03of an establishment. And they were in this parking lot area and Kanye straight
- 22:07up looks at the paparazzi and he's like, all right, you go over
- 22:11here. We're gonna walk this way. I need you to keep it at
- 22:14like a forty five degree angle when we're walking here. So now you're just
- 22:18setting up the paparazzi with how you want your photos. I mean, we
- 22:21can't criticize them for everything. They're gonna fil me or shoot your picture.
- 22:23Either way, you might as well get the right angle, run, hop
- 22:26in the car and get out of there. I don't know. Okay,
- 22:29now there's a stupid picture of you running awkwardly. I don't know. Nobody
- 22:32looks good running, that is true. Yeah, it's a Kanye I just
- 22:36I don't know. And that in her running, I mean, now you
- 22:37got well, the way she's been dressing, that'd be a disaster, it
- 22:41would be. And that she was wearing this shirt that was white and it
- 22:45just said wet on it. I'm like, what what are we doing?
- 22:48Is that a brand? I must be wet seal that's kind of gone.
- 22:52But yeah I didn't say seal on it though, No man, rest in
- 22:56peace? What Seal. What a great store that used to be. What
- 22:59did that shit done? That's out in the mall anymore? Am I crazy?
- 23:00No, been a minute. I also haven't been able to shop there
- 23:04in a lot of years. Why is that your band? You could be
- 23:08raising the Seal from the T shirts? You devil. That's the reason.
- 23:17That's the reason, all right. Jason Kelsey took Twitter yesterday and he said
- 23:22Buffalo is awesome. The energy contagious, such an incredible experience. I don't
- 23:26know if you saw all of this yet, but he ended up going.
- 23:30He was tailgating beforehand, just chugging beers, having fun with everybody. We
- 23:33had told you yesterday about this time when he had grabbed that Taylor Smith fan
- 23:37and held her up so Taylor could see her because she had a sign with
- 23:41the Lion King. Yeah, so this is all, by the way,
- 23:42Well he has his shirt off. Well, yesterday he put a screenshot up
- 23:47of his mother in law sending him a text and he has her on the
- 23:51phone as Ma and it said Ellie said, Dad's boobs are showing just so
- 23:56good. So you watch the TV. Also, Dad, what's going on
- 24:03here? I asked for his brother Travis. He was interviewed after the game
- 24:06and the person had said, like, your brother was shirtless. He goes,
- 24:08my brother was shirtless, started giggling and said, not that. That
- 24:12doesn't surprise me one bit. I love that guy, and every time we're
- 24:15not on the field together, we're always rooting for each other. It just
- 24:18can't get enough of that. That's some good, wholesome brotherly love. Really,
- 24:22And Justin Timberlake he did make an announcement yesterday he's going to release his
- 24:26first single, it's called Selfish on Thursday. His entire album Everything I thought
- 24:32it was is not going to be released. I was right, not it.
- 24:37I thought it was everything I thought it was. Well, we've been
- 24:40talking about this for two days, and I know I can say for sure
- 24:42every other time you've said it, he said I was everything I thought,
- 24:47because that's what we were saying that. I felt like the album was him
- 24:48looking inward at himself and realizing that he thought he was one thing and turns
- 24:53out maybe he wasn't. So do we have a confirmation. Yeah, Justin
- 24:56Timberlake presents everything I thought. No, it's not it? Is it?
- 25:02It? That's gonna be it? What? Oh, Amanda, what look
- 25:10at the egg on our face. It's amazing what a te'll do to an
- 25:12entire story, changes everything everything. I thought it was, what is it
- 25:19I said all these bad things about him? It could be so many things,
- 25:22but I'm with you. I I just I feel like I need a
- 25:26minute to apologize. So well, okay with this song is called selfish and
- 25:32we're getting that when we're getting that on Thursday before he's on Jimmy Fallon,
- 25:36and then on Saturday he'll obviously perform it because he'll be on Snela's the musical
- 25:41guest here. I thought the whole thing was like kind of going to be
- 25:44an apology, but I don't think he's sorry at all. Now. Yeah,
- 25:47it'll be interesting to see what this album is because he's gone through a
- 25:49lot. You keep for like everybody's talking about the Britney Spears stuff, but
- 25:53there was also the Jessica Bielle like cheating accusations. There's been a lot.
- 25:57I was so long ago though, like they've come along, they got multiple
- 26:02kids. Now. I don't totally I don't think this is he shod have
- 26:03a song on there called crimea River Part two. You know what, I
- 26:06would love just a Good Dad album. What does that mean? I don't
- 26:10know. Just like songs about his kids, no carve himself out a niche
- 26:15just talks about his kids. Amanda in the Morning on Big I heard something
- 26:22yesterday I wanted to bring up today in regards to parenting, because I know
- 26:25you definitely strive to be a great, perfect parent, don't you. Yeah,
- 26:29I'm sure, right, I mean that's a natural goal to have if
- 26:32you get sure. So I'm listening to this podcast yesterday on accident. I
- 26:36had just got done listening to the Pike and Amanda in the Morning podcast that
- 26:38we post every day after the show yep, and then some you know,
- 26:41when you're done with something, it just starts playing something else. Yeah,
- 26:44and you were like, oh boy, oh boy, it's not us,
- 26:45it's not Who are these yahoos? Well, they start talking about parenting.
- 26:49They have this parenting expert on discussing why quote emotionally messy parents are the best
- 26:56and what do you mean what do you mean emotionally messy? Pike? Well,
- 27:00these are parents who aren't perfect, right, who have issues of their
- 27:03own right, and so their kids in turn. Well maybe at the time
- 27:07you don't realize that, you know, you're probably thinking, oh, I
- 27:10wish my parents were like so and sos who just seem to have it all
- 27:12together and everything's perfect. But really, she says that they make kids,
- 27:18you know, more resilient, more authentic, kids vulnerable in a good way.
- 27:22People are able to share their emotions. They teach their kids empathy because
- 27:26of the issues that their parents have gone through. And I was thinking,
- 27:27you know what, that makes perfect sense, doesn't it totally? Because yeah,
- 27:32if you I mean, I would not want my kids to not see
- 27:34me cry. I don't want them to think that I'm like a Stepford wife
- 27:38of like, oh my gosh, everything is perfect. So I get that.
- 27:41Yeah, it's not always ice cream and bouncy houses just all day,
- 27:45right, Yeah, yeah, of ice cream bouncy houses. No, it's
- 27:49right. I mean thinking back to, like, you know, my childhood,
- 27:52like love my parents and all, but you know, like there's definitely
- 27:55things that made it not like just perfect. And I think back and I'm
- 27:57like, you know, I think that sort of made me who I am,
- 28:00for better or for worse. Right, Yeah, I mean we both
- 28:02come from I don't even know you can say it broke parents. So there
- 28:07was a lot of moments that were very tumultuous. You know, you're smooth
- 28:11and you look back and you're like okay, But it also made me realize
- 28:15it didn't I guess it probably made me realize like, hey, this is
- 28:18how life can be. And they're still great parents, I mean everybody.
- 28:21Yeah. Yeah. And when we say emotionally messy, not describing like you
- 28:25know, situations of like abuse and you know there are there's a point right
- 28:29where it's just we're just negative all around. Yeah, But I like just
- 28:33the vulnerability and being authentic with your kids, like if you are you know,
- 28:37if you lose somebody, it's like, okay, this is this is
- 28:40what's happened, and being honest about it, you know. And we're in
- 28:42that stage right now. Both of our kids have like really big feelings,
- 28:45so it's like trying to go through all of that and not big feelings.
- 28:49Hey, they'll just like they'll break down about stuff like they might want for
- 28:53example, ye down, I want mom, I want a case adia.
- 28:59Let's just say it's a case idea. You're like, okay, cool,
- 29:00you just want a tortilla and cheese, and then it's like great, and
- 29:06then it's like no, they don't want the tortilla, but they want the
- 29:08cheese. But they want the tortilla and the cheese, but they want it
- 29:11like right now, but they want it melted. But then if for some
- 29:15reason it's melted too much, and then it's not, and then you want
- 29:17to roll it, but they don't want it rolled, and then they want
- 29:18it cut, and it's all of these things, and you're going, what
- 29:22are you supposed to do? And you're trying to keep up, and then
- 29:26all of a sudden, they don't want the casadia, so you throw it
- 29:27away, and then they're in the garbage can gaining the casadia because they wanted
- 29:32the casadia, believe it or not. And I just took you on a
- 29:37big feeling roll emotional yeah, and that sounds emotionally messy. You sit there
- 29:41the whole time with these big, deep breaths, and you you don't want
- 29:44to show big feelings because at some point you kind of want to snap,
- 29:48but you're like, just a case idea, Well, it sounds like your
- 29:49daughter just wants a bowl of melted cheese
