- 0:57Speaker 3: Well but that's just what you get. But yeah, I'm

- 1:01Speaker 3: lighter in the evening. That's always a real mood, isn't it.
- 1:05Speaker 4: I tell you what is a treat When you go
- 1:07Speaker 4: to the car and you hear the birds tweeting in
- 1:09Speaker 4: the trees again making.
- 1:10Speaker 5: That's one of the second one of the things about
- 1:12Speaker 5: spring that I loathe the most, a tweeting bed.
- 1:15Speaker 3: It affects my sleep.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Kezy, how are you going, mate? I've got to
- 1:19Speaker 4: be honest, you're looking a bit ragged today. But are
- 1:21Speaker 4: you feeling better?
- 1:22Speaker 3: Is it because I've got like a semi beard going on.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Yeah, he's kind of all buffy all over the place.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Here's always buffy.
- 1:29Speaker 4: No, well it's not. Sometimes you're quite manicured.
- 1:32Speaker 3: No, I'm feeling a lot better. For those who don't know,
- 1:34Speaker 3: no one really gives a ship. But I have had
- 1:35Speaker 3: a I have a chest in fiction here today, I
- 1:37Speaker 3: feel better at the best, I felt great. Energies up.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You know, I'm getting better. You have got that, you've
- 1:42Speaker 3: got the mow. You've got a little bit of a
- 1:44Speaker 3: thing underneath.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Your lip that you're soul passion, and then of course
- 1:48Speaker 5: it's stubble as well. You kind of look like Ron Jeremy.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's sick man. Yeah, because he's like famously
- 1:56Speaker 3: really good looking at.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Yeah, if you're out there and you haven't heard of
- 2:02Speaker 5: Ron the Hedgehog Jeremy, give them a google.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm just not shaving because I'm like, I'm sick.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Spend most of the damn my bum my home clothes.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we'll talk about that in the show actually,
- 2:12Speaker 4: but yeah, yeah yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 3: In the meantime, those should get back into the countdown.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Oh how are you Jason?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Good?
- 2:17Speaker 4: Thanks?
- 2:17Speaker 3: Who to get back to the countdow are you okay?
- 2:21Speaker 3: We've got it, We're got and smell the nineties Now
- 2:24Speaker 3: the Nothing but Nineties Countdown.
- 2:26Speaker 2: On HODAK thanks to super Liquor celebrating thirty years of cheers.
- 2:31Speaker 3: No, but you are good though? Yeah?
- 2:32Speaker 4: Good, thanks mate? Where are we up to? Keyzy two
- 2:34Speaker 4: o seven?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Is it two o seven? And Mogi let's just say
- 2:38Speaker 3: you and particularly are going to love the song?
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodark.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Cool jam there on the radio, Holdarkey Big Show this
- 2:51Speaker 4: Wednesday afternoon, coming coming in at two o six on
- 2:54Speaker 4: the Nineties Countdown.
- 2:55Speaker 3: That's right, Nothing but Nineties celebrating our mates at super Liquor.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Who are celebrating the thirtieth birthday. If you get into
- 3:01Speaker 3: a super Liko this week, there's plenty of great prizes
- 3:04Speaker 3: and also deals that they're running to celebrate, and of
- 3:06Speaker 3: course we've got this great countdown as well.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Sounds great, keasy, thanks man Hey fellows the cool side
- 3:11Speaker 4: of myself at home in the mirror today and I
- 3:12Speaker 4: got a hell of it fright, And it occurred to me.
- 3:15Speaker 4: It occurred to me that there's two haughty Jays. And
- 3:19Speaker 4: what I mean by that is I'm talking about the
- 3:21Speaker 4: way I dress and the way I behave. There's the
- 3:23Speaker 4: at home hoidy j and there's the at work howdy
- 3:27Speaker 4: j or if we like.
- 3:28Speaker 3: To call them houghty j houghdy Jane is hotyjas hoty jisot.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Whichever you prefer. Maybe that's why I've got so many names,
- 3:36Speaker 4: because I've sort of different versions of myself all over
- 3:39Speaker 4: the place.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Because I've only experienced the one, same version same.
- 3:44Speaker 4: So I want to know about that, Yeah, you have
- 3:47Speaker 4: never been to my house. Well, for example, I think
- 3:49Speaker 4: I think it's pretty fair to say that at work
- 3:51Speaker 4: I'm known for being a pretty snappy dresser, that I'm
- 3:54Speaker 4: pretty a pretty styly guy, I make a bit of
- 3:57Speaker 4: an effort, and I think that's pretty well known and
- 4:00Speaker 4: get a lot of feedback about that on the Instagram. Okay,
- 4:05Speaker 4: whereas that at home at home hoodie Jay, it's just
- 4:08Speaker 4: nothing but filth. And I was curious to know what
- 4:11Speaker 4: you're running when you know you're just relaxing in your home,
- 4:15Speaker 4: what kind of a tie you're running with? For example,
- 4:18Speaker 4: every single day for me, it's the same thing. It's
- 4:20Speaker 4: my egg boots.
- 4:21Speaker 5: What color are they brown? Any coffee stains on them?
- 4:25Speaker 4: There's a couple of stains, but I don't know what
- 4:27Speaker 4: they are.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Is it brown fluff as well, because I've got the
- 4:30Speaker 3: fluffy bits right?
- 4:31Speaker 4: Yeah? No, not really, no fluff. But they're pretty smooth,
- 4:34Speaker 4: they're pretty worn keyzy.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Right okay. And this is all year or just in
- 4:38Speaker 3: winter autumn.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Actually they go all year, my egg boots really and
- 4:42Speaker 4: the first thing I put on when I get home
- 4:44Speaker 4: from work.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Your house must be so cold, carry it is pretty.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Nippy filthy track pants. And my wife had a gut
- 4:51Speaker 4: me this morning and then she commented on my trat
- 4:55Speaker 4: seat pants, which apparently have a hole in the ass.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Do I get No, I don't how often do they
- 4:59Speaker 5: get pants don't wash off.
- 5:03Speaker 4: This is the funny thing, because you know I was
- 5:05Speaker 4: funny about jeans. I'd go wash them every second after
- 5:08Speaker 4: two days, and you guys are like, no, no, no,
- 5:10Speaker 4: track is for me every six weeks. So and I
- 5:14Speaker 4: can't even begin to explain that the stains on those
- 5:18Speaker 4: there's like a rainbow of stains on them, like you know,
- 5:21Speaker 4: but I've got holes in them. I've got a hole
- 5:23Speaker 4: in the ass. Generally I run some kind of filthy
- 5:26Speaker 4: T shirt and again a filthy kind of sweatshirt type scenario,
- 5:32Speaker 4: and my puffa jacket.
- 5:34Speaker 3: And your puffa jacket inside inside.
- 5:36Speaker 4: I mean, what are you guys running?
- 5:38Speaker 5: Does your T shirt have on it? It's not a
- 5:40Speaker 5: bald spot. It's a solar panel for a sex machine.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Actually, one of them does bogie. Also best dad ever.
- 5:49Speaker 5: And also it's like a number one, a number one
- 5:52Speaker 5: in the world. Yeah, yeah, I'm not too disimilar to you.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I've got my egg boots there. They're like a purple thing,
- 5:59Speaker 5: purple things that they should be.
- 6:01Speaker 3: We've got to get photos of these on Instagram.
- 6:03Speaker 5: But I've got tracked X. But I cleaned them once,
- 6:07Speaker 5: I rotate them through once a week.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Do you still have your appalling pajama pants that your
- 6:11Speaker 4: wife sowed the front?
- 6:12Speaker 5: P Oh yeah, they're gone. The stripey ones, there's summer ones,
- 6:17Speaker 5: so I've got four different kinds of winter ones. And
- 6:21Speaker 5: then I just run, you know, sort of band T shirts.
- 6:25Speaker 5: I ran out and about wearing with bands on the
- 6:28Speaker 5: T shirt.
- 6:28Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Do you wear your dire
- 6:29Speaker 3: wolf on at home?
- 6:30Speaker 4: I do.
- 6:31Speaker 5: It's longer and actually, sadly I gave that to a
- 6:33Speaker 5: mate for Christmas.
- 6:36Speaker 3: He is lucky.
- 6:37Speaker 5: And then I've got a woolen jersey, which used to
- 6:40Speaker 5: be a pretty good jewsey. We're out of the house
- 6:42Speaker 5: now it's ripped. So you know how they have the
- 6:45Speaker 5: bit of material that goes around the bottom, Yes, and
- 6:48Speaker 5: sort of it's like an equator around your waist there.
- 6:52Speaker 5: So the split goes from my armper all the way
- 6:56Speaker 5: down to that band and just completely opens up and
- 7:00Speaker 5: reveals all through that window. So if I was seen
- 7:04Speaker 5: on the street, I would appear homeless, yes, or at
- 7:08Speaker 5: least at the very.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Least as if I had severe dementia. Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Yeah, similar, Mokey, I'm running a very similar vibe you keezy,
- 7:17Speaker 4: because you're quite anal with Staffe.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I'm going to jump on a joke there, but I didn't.
- 7:21Speaker 5: And also I don't wear underpants.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I often don't. Yes, I don't.
- 7:26Speaker 5: I'm fully now that can be dangerous when I don't
- 7:29Speaker 5: shake enough Kezy and I put myself away early doors
- 7:33Speaker 5: and then I've got urine dripping down both legs.
- 7:37Speaker 3: For me, it's that's so sick for me.
- 7:39Speaker 4: It's the two it's I've got to be careful with
- 7:41Speaker 4: the two swipe thing.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, no two white portages.
- 7:45Speaker 4: But yeah, fecal matter running down the back of the fires.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Yeah, well we'll just leave it there.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Well, I want to know what other people are and
- 7:55Speaker 4: what Kezy wears at home? What fool for you're wearing
- 7:57Speaker 4: on three three?
- 8:00Speaker 3: What do you wear around the house, And tell me
- 8:01Speaker 3: it's not as bad as what Jason Mike wear. Every
- 8:04Speaker 3: text in the draw for a fifty dollars rebig about
- 8:06Speaker 3: you should carry on with the countdown, Fellers, Yeah, number
- 8:08Speaker 3: two O five It comes from back in the nineties
- 8:12Speaker 3: and nothing.
- 8:12Speaker 2: But nineties countdown on radio.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Hurdarchy two hundred and four Metallica until it sleeps. The
- 8:21Speaker 1: Whodichy Big Show with Jason Mike and Keyzy tune in
- 8:25Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio hod.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Is Indeed, Nirvana there and the Nothing But Nineties Countdown
- 8:30Speaker 4: coming and at two o three Fellows, we've actually had
- 8:33Speaker 4: a lot of Nirvana, I've noticed, which is not a
- 8:36Speaker 4: bad thing.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Well, they were sort of at their best, yes, in
- 8:40Speaker 5: the nineties, weren't they. A lot of their latest stuff
- 8:42Speaker 5: in the two thousand ten's just yeah, didn't have the
- 8:46Speaker 5: same output.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know what it was. Dave Grole featuring
- 8:50Speaker 3: a lot though in the count roll, Yeah.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Yeah, why do you get that? Pretty much with all
- 8:55Speaker 4: the bands really, you know, they start off with a
- 8:56Speaker 4: bit of a hess and a roar, have a few
- 8:58Speaker 4: kind of dodgy early albums, and get really good and
- 9:00Speaker 4: then sort of going a downward slide from there, I.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Find except and of course Taylor Hawkins features a lot
- 9:05Speaker 5: because of course he was a drummer with the Food Fighters,
- 9:07Speaker 5: but also for Alanis morris Sett, was he Yeah, yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 5: so that's where he came from. He left the Alanis
- 9:13Speaker 5: Morrissett touring band to join the Food Fights.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I was a huge fan of Alanis Moris.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but you hated music, Yeah, yeah, Well.
- 9:20Speaker 4: That's what I was going to say. You know, I
- 9:21Speaker 4: didn't like him music, but I was a huge fan
- 9:23Speaker 4: of his featured quite heavily in the old Hoodie Jay
- 9:27Speaker 4: imagination there.
- 9:28Speaker 3: And hey, fellers, have you heard of Definitial Day?
- 9:33Speaker 6: Oh?
- 9:33Speaker 7: I have?
- 9:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Weird thing because I think of it so fondly, but
- 9:38Speaker 5: it's it's for raising awareness around cancer. Jason cancer obviously
- 9:43Speaker 5: not great but deafitil day. Yeah, I love it.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I love it too, And for thirty five years as
- 9:49Speaker 3: it has been helping out with Definitel Day, helping the
- 9:52Speaker 3: Cancer Society, helping to support the one and three key
- 9:55Speaker 3: he is affected by cancer. This Friday is Definite Day, Hoduck.
- 9:59Speaker 3: He's doing its part by having a ping pong tournament that.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Deep on the ideas on this one man.
- 10:03Speaker 3: So I think a ping pong tournament is great because
- 10:06Speaker 3: the way it works is all the stations here at
- 10:07Speaker 3: our big company are all doing something different. What Hurdak's
- 10:10Speaker 3: contributing is a ping pong tournament. Apparently I'm taking on
- 10:13Speaker 3: a representative from either the Cancer Society.
- 10:17Speaker 5: I think that's what it is.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Representative from the.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Cancer Society as well. I think I'm not sure if
- 10:22Speaker 5: it's a make a wish thing or what it is, keezy,
- 10:23Speaker 5: but it's going to If that is the case, it's
- 10:25Speaker 5: going to go against your you know, your highly competitive
- 10:28Speaker 5: nature where you simply must win, you simply must yes,
- 10:32Speaker 5: and now if it's to make a wish, you might
- 10:34Speaker 5: have to go easy.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Well, I think it's just a representative from the Cancer Society. Well,
- 10:37Speaker 3: we don't know.
- 10:38Speaker 4: And it's not that weird grip that you have on
- 10:40Speaker 4: the on.
- 10:41Speaker 5: The bat reverse cowgirl.
- 10:44Speaker 4: I was going to say, because is that like a
- 10:46Speaker 4: Chinese grip.
- 10:47Speaker 3: I don't think you can call it that. I don't know,
- 10:49Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about. Racism alert, racism alert.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Mike's right, it's called a reverse cowgirl the way the
- 10:56Speaker 3: reverse cow girl. Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, But hey, the
- 10:59Speaker 3: Rea and why we're bringing this up is that if
- 11:02Speaker 3: you would like to donate three dollars, you can do
- 11:04Speaker 3: so instantly by texting donate to three four nine three.
- 11:07Speaker 3: It goes straight to the Cancer Society and they can
- 11:10Speaker 3: also tune in. On Friday, there'll be a big ping
- 11:12Speaker 3: pong tournament. Easy to be wiping the floor with all
- 11:14Speaker 3: his his opponents there. It's gonna be bloody great.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Yeah, looking forward.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Yeah, donate to three four nine three, and just on that,
- 11:23Speaker 3: make sure you donate yes to three four yeah, nine three.
- 11:27Speaker 3: It's very easy to just let us wash over you
- 11:29Speaker 3: and sort of tune out and steer off into the
- 11:30Speaker 3: middle distance.
- 11:31Speaker 5: But why don't you donate?
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Jay, totally man, they like do it now. Whispering
- 11:39Speaker 3: it to no one doesn't mean you're donating. Let's get
- 11:41Speaker 3: back to the countdown.
- 11:42Speaker 1: The Whodichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Tune in four on radio.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Oh yes, indeed they see DC there on the radio
- 11:51Speaker 4: Hock Big Show this Wednesday was at the end of
- 11:55Speaker 4: the countdown, there Keys, one more.
- 11:57Speaker 3: One more to go. We'll be playing the final song
- 11:59Speaker 3: of today just after five o'clock, celebrating, of course, super
- 12:02Speaker 3: like his thirtieth birthday.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Yeah, great stuff. Hey, let's talk TV. What's on the
- 12:09Speaker 4: Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 12:27Speaker 3: Just sorry, just just quickly failed. Wen't actually have a
- 12:29Speaker 3: lot of time for TV chat today, so do we not?
- 12:31Speaker 5: Okay, I'll make it quick. Then, fellas, I watched a movie.
- 12:35Speaker 5: I don't know if you hear, but I went on
- 12:36Speaker 5: a I went on a holiday to Europe was on
- 12:39Speaker 5: the plane. They've got TVs in the seat in front
- 12:41Speaker 5: of you watch it at your leisure. And this movie
- 12:44Speaker 5: is called The Return, The Return. You're gonna light the
- 12:48Speaker 5: sound of this one, Jase. It does our old mate
- 12:52Speaker 5: Ray Fines and Juliette Binoche and it's the story essentially,
- 12:58Speaker 5: it's based on the Odyssey by Homer Simpson, and it's
- 13:03Speaker 5: a yan of what is that bugger's name? There Odysseus
- 13:09Speaker 5: who leaves and goes to battle. He goes off to Troy.
- 13:13Speaker 5: His idea is the trojan horse Troy. He's a trophy.
- 13:19Speaker 3: He does it.
- 13:19Speaker 5: It's the Battle of Troy and he does the trojan
- 13:21Speaker 5: horse thing where he gets it in behind the old
- 13:23Speaker 5: backbones there and everyone surprises kill kill kill behind the gate.
- 13:27Speaker 5: So this is obviously way back in the day. It's
- 13:31Speaker 5: the hero's journey essentially. This sees Odysseus come home, yes,
- 13:36Speaker 5: and it's based on that story where he comes home
- 13:39Speaker 5: to his wife and his to the kingdom of his
- 13:43Speaker 5: wife who's the queen and obviously his son the prince,
- 13:46Speaker 5: and she has been beset by suitors. He's everybody thinks
- 13:50Speaker 5: that he is dead. Ray finds his character is dead,
- 13:53Speaker 5: so they want to become the new king of the land.
- 13:57Speaker 5: But Odysseus returns home and he's of a sneaky barst
- 14:01Speaker 5: acting like a down and out bum that hangs around
- 14:04Speaker 5: the courtyard. It's really well acted, but obviously didn't have
- 14:08Speaker 5: a budget because it doesn't seem like a kingdom. It
- 14:11Speaker 5: seems more like a village or hamlet, not even that.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Even smaller than that. It feels like the studio with
- 14:19Speaker 5: three people on it. Oh wow, like no budget. But weirdly,
- 14:23Speaker 5: Ray finds is super ripped. He looks amazing. Then they
- 14:26Speaker 5: have battle scenes and fight scenes and things which aren't
- 14:29Speaker 5: very good at all. I give it three busies out
- 14:33Speaker 5: of five buzzies. I don't know if again it's suffered
- 14:36Speaker 5: from I watched it on a plane syndrome, and my
- 14:39Speaker 5: wife watched it when she came home, also on a plane,
- 14:41Speaker 5: and she didn't much rate it. But it's worth the gez.
- 14:44Speaker 5: It's the great performances. But I feel like I miss
- 14:46Speaker 5: something because the scale of it is so small, and
- 14:49Speaker 5: yet it's got really good reviews, widely regarded. I imagine
- 14:52Speaker 5: it's one of those sort of situations where critics think
- 14:55Speaker 5: it's great and the audience garbage. Now, I just want
- 14:59Speaker 5: to say, going to repeat what that was called. It
- 15:01Speaker 5: was called the Return, and you can watch that on
- 15:03Speaker 5: a plane. We've got ours yesterday yesterday by a punter
- 15:06Speaker 5: to repeat the name of the show and as we've finished,
- 15:10Speaker 5: because they hear the opening and then they don't know
- 15:12Speaker 5: what the show is called.
- 15:13Speaker 4: We don't have time. I'm gonna have to fly to
- 15:16Speaker 4: Europe and see all these movies.
- 15:17Speaker 3: And that's the way to do it. More than nothing
- 15:19Speaker 3: but nineties countdown up after five o'clock.
- 15:25Speaker 1: The Whole che Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on radio.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Hold Ike, welcome back, your messive backbones. Have you surviving hump? Today?
- 15:33Speaker 4: You're listening to the Big Show, brought to you by Reburger.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Beef checking vegan vegetarian options to Reburger is redefining the norm. Sorry, yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 3: great stuff. I don't have to pay us this month
- 15:47Speaker 3: as a result of that. You're aware of that, man,
- 15:49Speaker 3: because I didn't play really yeah, that seems crazy.
- 15:53Speaker 4: I was just about to say how tight that was,
- 15:55Speaker 4: but then that kind of fell, yeah, fell apart, it completely.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Well, I tell you what the show is going to
- 16:00Speaker 5: be absolutely going off. This is a new segment we've
- 16:03Speaker 5: got called Mogi Teases. What's coming up on the show.
- 16:06Speaker 5: We're still ironing out a few details. It probably needs
- 16:08Speaker 5: a sting around at Pigson if you can get onto
- 16:10Speaker 5: that brother, and probably a new title which will chuck
- 16:12Speaker 5: out to the audience and they'll be able to help
- 16:14Speaker 5: us iron it out. It'll probably involved jaars or something
- 16:17Speaker 5: like that. But what we have got coming up, fellows,
- 16:20Speaker 5: is this, how are we going to be talking to
- 16:22Speaker 5: that legend Jeremy Corbett? Oh good, an old friend of yours,
- 16:25Speaker 5: hoody j and that was genuine. I'm sure things are
- 16:27Speaker 5: going to get quite personal. We've also just found out
- 16:30Speaker 5: that Taylor Swift has gotten engaged joking and Kezy is
- 16:33Speaker 5: absolutely furious about it. Will be going deep on that one.
- 16:38Speaker 5: And finally, I've become an uncle again. We've got another
- 16:41Speaker 5: member of the family that's been added to the Moggi clan,
- 16:45Speaker 5: and I'll be going through some of the more intimate
- 16:47Speaker 5: details of that birth that took.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Place this morning. Oh yeah, I was well.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I had them set up a FaceTime at the business.
- 16:54Speaker 3: End, a FaceTime, Yeah yeah, cool.
- 16:57Speaker 5: You heard about FaceTime man?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's great faces. Before we get to all that, though, feelers,
- 17:02Speaker 3: it's time to put a little not on the nothing
- 17:04Speaker 3: but Nineties Countdown.
- 17:05Speaker 2: We've got it back week up and smell the nineties.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Now the nothing but Nineties Countdown on hold akin thanks
- 17:11Speaker 2: to Super Liquor celebrating thirty years of Cheers.
- 17:15Speaker 3: That's right, thirty years of Super Liquor. If you head
- 17:17Speaker 3: into their stores this week, there are plenty of deals
- 17:20Speaker 3: and also prizes to be one as well to celebrate
- 17:22Speaker 3: their thirty year birthday.
- 17:25Speaker 4: So shall we do a bit of Tom Petty to
- 17:26Speaker 4: finish our.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Fe spoiler a lit spoiler alert.
- 17:29Speaker 4: You know we're going to play it? Yeah, I know
- 17:31Speaker 4: that big of spoiler.
- 17:32Speaker 3: What people like, we know what it's going to be.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Then you're like, oh, it's top pity.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Well it's just another one of a countdown. It's not
- 17:37Speaker 4: that big a deal.
- 17:38Speaker 3: All right? Yeah, who is it again?
- 17:41Speaker 4: Tom Pitty and the Heartbreaker.
- 17:43Speaker 1: It's nothing that nineties on Radio Hurdarchy Number two hundred,

- 18:16Speaker 3: go and get amongst fellers. I've got a bit of
- 18:19Speaker 3: an announcement if that's all g Is that all good?
- 18:21Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:21Speaker 3: Man, all right, here we go. Yeah, yeah, I'm banging
- 18:24Speaker 3: dudes on the side. Man's okay, Pugs, you said you
- 18:26Speaker 3: were going to make an announcement sting for me, and
- 18:30Speaker 3: I said, don't make it a stitch up. And he's
- 18:32Speaker 3: clipped off a bit of the show for last week.
- 18:37Speaker 5: What was that is?
- 18:38Speaker 3: Pugs on Pugs? Is there an actual sting or no, No,
- 18:42Speaker 3: there's not. Just for the people at home, Pugs is
- 18:49Speaker 3: pissing themselves laughing. We literally just had a meeting about
- 18:53Speaker 3: how it's like, hey, let you know, if someone's telling
- 18:55Speaker 3: a story, maybe let them get there, don't interrupt it.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I love that you speak your time maker, that instead
- 19:00Speaker 3: of this thing that Kezy needs, instead.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Of as well as this thing needs just that. Can
- 19:07Speaker 5: you just play there for us?
- 19:08Speaker 4: I didn't quite hear what it was.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm banging dudes on the side, man side.
- 19:13Speaker 4: That's not like one of those AI ones where I'm
- 19:15Speaker 4: saying I've got a small downstairs. Is it. My name's
- 19:18Speaker 4: Hoidy J And I have a tiny downstairs.
- 19:21Speaker 3: No, it's not like that. Oh okay, I actually said that,
- 19:24Speaker 3: Yeah you did that, but out of context it sounds
- 19:26Speaker 3: really studieaells. I think we've run out of time for
- 19:29Speaker 3: me to do my no we hit.
- 19:30Speaker 4: No way man announcement.
- 19:32Speaker 5: It's important announcement is do you need a sting?
- 19:35Speaker 3: I can make you one now. I wouldn't mind the
- 19:37Speaker 3: breaking news sting.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Breaking news, BEP.
- 19:43Speaker 3: I should save BP. Okay, we'll save it. Okay, we'll
- 19:47Speaker 3: save that. Okay, we'll save it.
- 19:48Speaker 5: Okay, we're gonna save the coming up next, coming up
- 19:51Speaker 5: later in the show Fellers, we've saved something from Kezy.
- 19:54Speaker 5: It's an announcement. Stay tuned, Yeah, exciting, Oh.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Shune.
- 20:02Speaker 5: This is this is what we call in the business chase.
- 20:04Speaker 5: And you won't know this man.
- 20:06Speaker 3: We call this a chew.
- 20:08Speaker 6: It's a g.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Doo doo do the whole Achy Big Show with Jason,
- 20:17Speaker 1: Mike and Kezy.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Ike Pink Floyd there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show.
- 20:24Speaker 4: This Wednesday afternoon of the time is five twenty two. Now.
- 20:27Speaker 4: I feel really bad Kezy, because you had a really
- 20:29Speaker 4: big announcement and then you got stitched up by old Pugs.
- 20:33Speaker 4: It's just it's not cool, man, It's not cool. And
- 20:36Speaker 4: I Mogan and I were having a little chat off
- 20:38Speaker 4: here and going, we really want you to do your
- 20:41Speaker 4: big announcement, man, because it was obviously important to you.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Well, no, I just and if it's all g with you, guys,
- 20:47Speaker 3: I've just lost a bit of steam.
- 20:50Speaker 5: You've got to beck yourself. Man. You can't let you
- 20:52Speaker 5: can't let a scumbag like Pugs and win. But you
- 20:56Speaker 5: know he stitches you up, you get up seat and
- 20:59Speaker 5: then you're a few you know. It's like you're taking
- 21:00Speaker 5: your ball when you're going home.
- 21:01Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 21:02Speaker 5: You're gonna let them win.
- 21:03Speaker 3: It was my ball.
- 21:03Speaker 5: I know it is your ball and you can take
- 21:05Speaker 5: it home if you want. But wouldn't it be good
- 21:07Speaker 5: if you shared it with the listeners. Man, and I'm
- 21:10Speaker 5: with Mogi here.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Can't let a piece of filth like Pugs just get
- 21:14Speaker 4: away with sketching you up like that.
- 21:17Speaker 5: That's not on you simply mustn't.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Guys, if there's one thing we don't do on the
- 21:22Speaker 3: Big Show, it's take the purse out of one another.
- 21:24Speaker 3: You know, yeah, totally, there's like one line that we
- 21:27Speaker 3: do not cross. Yes, and I just I just I
- 21:31Speaker 3: don't know. I just wasn't expecting it and it kind
- 21:33Speaker 3: of just took this windown of my sales.
- 21:34Speaker 5: It's understandable, but you're amazing, Kezy, But what you do
- 21:40Speaker 5: for the show is it's second to none. And I
- 21:44Speaker 5: won't have a scumbag like Pugs and ruined that not
- 21:48Speaker 5: only for Jason, myself and you, Keezy, but for the
- 21:52Speaker 5: listener at home.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I won't have it.
- 21:55Speaker 4: I mean, what a piece of work is Pugs? But
- 21:58Speaker 4: you guys, they're ship or deacity. Do think you of
- 22:04Speaker 4: what he did there takes my breath away. I'm shy.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I had an affection for Pats, not anymore, I don't.
- 22:10Speaker 3: You guys both were laughing though.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Well it was because you know how you have that
- 22:13Speaker 5: nervous laughter.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Yeah, when you're shocked.
- 22:16Speaker 5: You know, when somebody's been real meaning and then because
- 22:20Speaker 5: you just don't want to be picked on yourself.
- 22:21Speaker 3: It just didn't seem like that was that for those
- 22:23Speaker 3: who don't know. Basically, I had some really important news,
- 22:26Speaker 3: a big announcement. What happened? Man Pugs told me that
- 22:30Speaker 3: he'd maybe have an important announcements thing, and then I
- 22:32Speaker 3: played it and this is what played instead. Yeah. Yeah,
- 22:35Speaker 3: I'm banging dudes on the side, man. You know, just
- 22:38Speaker 3: a quote totally out of context from like two weeks ago. Yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 3: So if it's all good with you guys, I won't
- 22:44Speaker 3: do the big announced.
- 22:44Speaker 5: No, No, I think we've got to do it otherwise.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Otherwise CAZy the terrorist win.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Yeah, And just for the record, I want to put
- 22:53Speaker 4: it on the record. I'm okay with you banging dudes. Man.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Can I put it together this way? No skin off
- 23:00Speaker 5: my nose, and there's plenty there.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I was like, oh, that's some low egg and Fruity's
- 23:06Speaker 3: just plucked it.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Can I just put it to you this way? Key, keys, keys.
- 23:13Speaker 7: Keys, all right, we go, here we go.
- 23:27Speaker 3: It's a temporary breaking used thing by the way, where
- 23:29Speaker 3: we find the old one. The big announcement is, guys,
- 23:33Speaker 3: my shoes that I purchased before going to Europe, your
- 23:36Speaker 3: comedy shoes, your sharkers. I bought them for the purposes
- 23:41Speaker 3: of walking around Europe doing you know, lots of walking
- 23:43Speaker 3: every day, and we did. I have come to the
- 23:45Speaker 3: conclusion that they are too big. I could have told
- 23:50Speaker 3: you that, I know, in fact I did. Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Well, I referred to them as snow pedals.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Well they are, and people have been calling them like
- 23:57Speaker 3: land kayaks and all sorts of stuff. They are too big.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I keep getting my feet caught in places they wouldn't
- 24:02Speaker 3: normally get caught, like moving out from under my dinner
- 24:05Speaker 3: tat or like not my dinner table. But for example,
- 24:07Speaker 3: I did a podcast earlier today trying to get out
- 24:09Speaker 3: from under that table. Right, my foot got hooked and
- 24:11Speaker 3: I fell over.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Yeah. And I'm always massively suspicious of people that buy
- 24:16Speaker 4: deliberately huge shoes, as if they're trying to send a
- 24:19Speaker 4: message about themselves.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I haven't seen it before.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it's weird.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, So that was my big announcement.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Well, we'll see. The proof will being the putting. I
- 24:28Speaker 5: think you're Yeah, I think I don't think you'll give
- 24:29Speaker 5: them up. I think you'll continue wearing them.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I'll continue wearing them because I've paid the money now.
- 24:33Speaker 3: But they are too big and a number of times
- 24:37Speaker 3: my feet have been caught.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Big announcement as you regret buying them, but you got
- 24:40Speaker 5: to keep on wearing them because you've paid for them.
- 24:42Speaker 5: That's right.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I mean that fit me, Yeah, that'd fit you man,
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah. And also I really love banging dudes
- 24:48Speaker 3: on the side as well. Happen next Jeremy cor.
- 24:51Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarkey.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Just indeed epically there on the Radio hold Archy Big
- 24:59Speaker 4: Show this Wednesday afternoon. We've had some amazing guests and
- 25:02Speaker 4: over the last few days. This particular guest is a
- 25:06Speaker 4: real special and personal treat for me because for many
- 25:10Speaker 4: years he was like my comedy mentor Fellas Wow. It
- 25:14Speaker 4: was inevitable over time, of course, that I would surpass him,
- 25:17Speaker 4: but for many many years he was like a grandfather
- 25:22Speaker 4: to me on the comedy scene. He nurtured me through
- 25:26Speaker 4: the system. I sucked on the buzzy of the great
- 25:30Speaker 4: Corby Corby your Mad Bassett House life.
- 25:33Speaker 6: Oh so good, so much better, for that thinly veiled
- 25:37Speaker 6: shrouded as a compliment.
- 25:38Speaker 3: It comes from a painful place for let's be honest.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Well, one of the problems was I was you know,
- 25:43Speaker 6: I was the mentor for thousands of comedians, so he
- 25:46Speaker 6: was one of many. And thank you Mike for reminding
- 25:49Speaker 6: me of his name, as I can. I like to
- 25:51Speaker 6: see you again, Jason.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you too, man, Well you him as Corby. Yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 3: Jeremy Corbett very close personal friends like you too, clearly are.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Although I do.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Wonder about the close personal relationship because Jason has taken
- 26:05Speaker 5: up playing golf in the last sort of twelve. I
- 26:07Speaker 5: understand you're an avid golfer and ever call them to
- 26:10Speaker 5: go out.
- 26:13Speaker 6: Well, I'm poor ego as the as the organizer, you
- 26:15Speaker 6: know in any group like that, you've got that he's
- 26:17Speaker 6: the organizer.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so he makes the calls. He and Jason, you
- 26:22Speaker 3: don't really your head.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Well, like we pretended to get on yesterday in the interview,
- 26:26Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know, I don't mind having anyone on. Ah. Yeah,
- 26:30Speaker 4: we're just escape with the barrel here. But you are
- 26:33Speaker 4: you are? Can I say this call Jeremy Corbett better?
- 26:37Speaker 4: We've established him now, Yeah, that you are the big
- 26:40Speaker 4: daddy of New Zealand comedy. I think that's fair, isn't it.
- 26:43Speaker 6: I think people ask me the secret of my success
- 26:45Speaker 6: and I'm like, it's sticking around.
- 26:48Speaker 3: That's what I've done.
- 26:49Speaker 6: Just you won't go away, never excelled, never stuck my
- 26:53Speaker 6: head above the power, but just always there. As I
- 26:56Speaker 6: say on seven days on the budget, I know long
- 27:00Speaker 6: come under talent, I come under set, right, That's where
- 27:04Speaker 6: you want to be.
- 27:04Speaker 5: If you want to stick an element of truth to that, though,
- 27:06Speaker 5: isn't it? Because when you start out, and you probably
- 27:09Speaker 5: sail out in your early twenties, there's thousands of people
- 27:14Speaker 5: that all want to be actors, all want to be comedians,
- 27:16Speaker 5: and then as the harsh reality sort of hits them,
- 27:18Speaker 5: they fall away. They might have had children. They've got
- 27:21Speaker 5: to find a way to pay for that and acting
- 27:23Speaker 5: and the arts generally. Isn't that way? If you just
- 27:25Speaker 5: stick it out, you become of like you become one
- 27:28Speaker 5: of like three or four options in your age group.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Well I sort of did it the opposite way because
- 27:32Speaker 6: in my day there was comedy or something like that
- 27:35Speaker 6: wasn't really seen as a genuine career path.
- 27:38Speaker 3: So I did.
- 27:38Speaker 6: I went the computer programmer, which I teased about, but
- 27:42Speaker 6: so that I sort of did my full black fallback plan.
- 27:44Speaker 3: First did the hard work, the.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Nine to five, working a way to screen, and then
- 27:49Speaker 6: moved into comedy after that, so well.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Sort of the other way around.
- 27:52Speaker 4: He genuinely did inspire me when I saw you and
- 27:55Speaker 4: your brother Nigel, you know, I was interested in getting
- 27:59Speaker 4: into comedy. I saw you guys perform, and I went, Jesus, okay,
- 28:03Speaker 4: I could certainly do better than that. You old bruffy
- 28:09Speaker 4: and I got down there with sugar and spice.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Yeah, and I reckon, if you can't entertain, then confuse.
- 28:16Speaker 3: How do you feel, Jeremy Corbett, who's in here with
- 28:18Speaker 3: us today, how do you feel when Jay says you're
- 28:21Speaker 3: like a you know, your role model to him, that
- 28:23Speaker 3: sort of thing, and then you do see his act,
- 28:25Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 28:27Speaker 6: Well, I think I did influence him, but much in
- 28:29Speaker 6: the way that he just said, you know, the way
- 28:31Speaker 6: I've shown him how not to do it. Yeah, Yeah,
- 28:33Speaker 6: he's gone and he's gone. Where I zigged, he's zagged
- 28:36Speaker 6: and very successfully. And when we were on a bill together,
- 28:39Speaker 6: it was perfect. We were like a well rounded red.
- 28:41Speaker 6: You know, we had the cab sav on either side
- 28:43Speaker 6: and the Merlow in the middle.
- 28:45Speaker 5: It came in a three liter box.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Definitely back in those days.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Mate.
- 28:49Speaker 6: It was really good fun because sugar and spice and
- 28:53Speaker 6: I was comment I was doing comedy with my brother
- 28:55Speaker 6: Nige at the time, so we were the Corbett brothers
- 28:57Speaker 6: and Sugar Spies and the Corbett brothers. We always had
- 29:00Speaker 6: faux kind of stage. It was very entertaining. I almost
- 29:05Speaker 6: enjoyed that more than the show.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Yeah, it was really good just to reminisce here. I
- 29:10Speaker 4: was just remembering the other day how we once had
- 29:12Speaker 4: a fake fight on stage, just laying into each other.
- 29:17Speaker 4: But look, we'll take a little break, go to a
- 29:19Speaker 4: tune and come back and talk about the tour, right.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Okay, that's write tour. Yeah. Do you want to say
- 29:24Speaker 3: the name of the song Chase, just so that people know,
- 29:27Speaker 3: No Pluto.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Yeah, the Whiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune.
- 29:34Speaker 4: In on Radio Pluto there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 29:39Speaker 4: This gorgeous Wednesday afternoon and we've got comedy.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Legend self described describe.
- 29:50Speaker 3: He was just talking about it off here.
- 29:52Speaker 4: He was what legend he was old. Jeremy corbyt hey Corby,
- 29:55Speaker 4: We've had a few of your mates and for seven
- 29:58Speaker 4: days about the upcoming tour, because they're all discussed, you know,
- 30:01Speaker 4: discussing it like you're all a big family.
- 30:04Speaker 3: It is very much like that.
- 30:05Speaker 6: And and when you know, when big and family, your
- 30:08Speaker 6: other words are implied and they're like dysfunctional. Yeah, you know,
- 30:12Speaker 6: fighting and fighting yeah, yeah, yeah, it's great fun.
- 30:16Speaker 4: And then you know, granddad gets on the mellows yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 4: says a few things he shouldn't have said to the kids,
- 30:22Speaker 4: you know, and I usually.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Start off by saying, you can't say anything these days.
- 30:26Speaker 6: He's an example.
- 30:27Speaker 5: Do you get to decide when you come out for
- 30:30Speaker 5: the because obviously the show is broken up into two
- 30:33Speaker 5: parts as a stand up in the first half of
- 30:35Speaker 5: the show where you all do you know, seven minutes
- 30:37Speaker 5: but it feels like fifteen, and then the second half
- 30:40Speaker 5: you do the seven days stuff. Do you get to
- 30:43Speaker 5: decide where you come out? Like, how do you how
- 30:45Speaker 5: do you decide a mast yourself? What the order is?
- 30:48Speaker 7: Not?
- 30:48Speaker 4: Really?
- 30:48Speaker 6: I mean, the fact simple factor is die Hen was
- 30:50Speaker 6: going to close rights. The chair he gets every year
- 30:54Speaker 6: just gets bigger and bigger and bigger. Yeah, incredible, and
- 30:57Speaker 6: then it's really just a matter of sort of divving
- 30:58Speaker 6: it up and seeing you know. So I'll often go
- 31:01Speaker 6: out first, being the sort of figurehead and host the show. Yeah,
- 31:05Speaker 6: so you've had, you've had, you've had a high. Then
- 31:07Speaker 6: you want it but a light and shade, so poorly
- 31:10Speaker 6: go next. Yeah, funny to sort of more Edmund Yes,
- 31:14Speaker 6: and then and then you know, then we'll get done
- 31:16Speaker 6: just quickly.
- 31:17Speaker 3: You were saying off here, Jeremy genuinely that you've been
- 31:19Speaker 3: struggling to come up with new content.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Constant, constant battle. You're trying to come up with new
- 31:24Speaker 6: material every every year.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Especially for seven because it's been around for so long, Right,
- 31:27Speaker 3: how long has the live show aspect of it been going?
- 31:30Speaker 6: Not much shorter than I think we started in twenty twelve,
- 31:33Speaker 6: thirteen years.
- 31:33Speaker 3: And because it's like a dedicated audience, do you not
- 31:36Speaker 3: risk going out and doing the same thing each year?
- 31:39Speaker 6: You're not really all I'm always surprised how many new
- 31:42Speaker 6: people have come along. That's good, but we sort of
- 31:44Speaker 6: find a lot of people turn it into their like
- 31:46Speaker 6: Christmas party. Oh yeah, just come along, watch show and
- 31:50Speaker 6: then go and hang around afterwards.
- 31:51Speaker 4: And well, you've been doing comedy now for Nyon sixty years.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Why don't you just do stuff you did thirty years ago.
- 31:58Speaker 4: No one's ever going to remember that. Well, I do
- 32:00Speaker 4: do that.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I do do that. You'd recognize.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's remembering what but I use?
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Yeah, So I will squeeze in some some of the
- 32:12Speaker 6: older stuff if I can, if I think I haven't
- 32:13Speaker 6: done it before. But yeah, no, this this year, I'm
- 32:16Speaker 6: working on some new stuff. Yeah, some stuff that's age
- 32:20Speaker 6: appropriate for me. You were saying that the old guy
- 32:22Speaker 6: going on about how things have changed and you can't
- 32:24Speaker 6: say anything anymore.
- 32:25Speaker 3: That's the attitude.
- 32:26Speaker 5: That's great, And I love the editor you're talking again
- 32:29Speaker 5: off year and so just just the innovation of bringing
- 32:32Speaker 5: back some of the more race based stuff I'm really
- 32:37Speaker 5: looking for.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you want to get a bit more. Is
- 32:41Speaker 4: that what you're looking for.
- 32:43Speaker 6: I'm just running out of I'm going for the low
- 32:45Speaker 6: hanging through what's happening?
- 32:47Speaker 3: You were saying you were second of them cutting it
- 32:48Speaker 3: out of the TV show.
- 32:51Speaker 6: It's the real meat that made me a Yeah, I'm
- 32:55Speaker 6: a far more henous person than you believe.
- 32:58Speaker 4: If you haven't met me, Justine Sbeth saying, one of
- 33:00Speaker 4: the joys of you know, doing the tour of courses
- 33:02Speaker 4: because you're on at a certain time on the TV
- 33:05Speaker 4: there and you've got to sort of keep it a
- 33:07Speaker 4: little your racism and so forth. But like for the
- 33:11Speaker 4: live show, you can you can really laughing because it's
- 33:14Speaker 4: a joke. This is not true anyway. Yes, for live
- 33:19Speaker 4: show we can.
- 33:20Speaker 6: It's more edgy, not safe for work and all that.
- 33:22Speaker 6: So yeah, yeah, yeah, but it's not it's not an objective,
- 33:25Speaker 6: do you know what I mean. It's just that you
- 33:26Speaker 6: think of something funny that might be a bit rude,
- 33:29Speaker 6: and in the live show you just say it, whereas
- 33:31Speaker 6: for the TV you might go, well, yeah, that's never
- 33:33Speaker 6: going to make it something else.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Because Jason, you were saying that Jerry Jeremy is really
- 33:37Speaker 3: good at like quite a lot of different accents from
- 33:38Speaker 3: around the world.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, could you you could give us.
- 33:47Speaker 3: That's right, we don't have to use.
- 33:52Speaker 5: That. Jason's saying, you're doing absolutely incredible session. Tim dolkan, Yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 5: I do.
- 33:56Speaker 6: It's a really good Hello my name Sash.
- 34:01Speaker 3: That's a good way to do it if you want
- 34:03Speaker 3: tickets to the live show. So it's a whole heap
- 34:05Speaker 3: of shows all around the country seven days dot co
- 34:07Speaker 3: dot m Z to buy tickets. Are you excited for
- 34:10Speaker 3: the tor Jo? Oh yeah I am.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Although this is this is the highlight.
- 34:14Speaker 6: This has been the highlight. It doesn't get funnier than this.
- 34:17Speaker 6: I really enjoyed this, as you can see, I've been
- 34:19Speaker 6: laughing so much on crying. That's what I enjoyed it.
- 34:22Speaker 6: And yeah, there are moments of that on tour and
- 34:25Speaker 6: I love it and I love Yeah. The crowds that
- 34:28Speaker 6: turn out in New Zealand are fantastic and we always
- 34:31Speaker 6: get a fight in the cagle.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Well how good. I saw you guys a couple of
- 34:35Speaker 5: years ago over in tech A, Perana or Devenport somewhere
- 34:37Speaker 5: like that. A huge joint. It is sold out, people
- 34:41Speaker 5: absolutely roaring. If it's if it's something that you haven't
- 34:45Speaker 5: been along to live before, make sure you do because
- 34:47Speaker 5: these are, you know, some of the without a doubt,
- 34:49Speaker 5: the best comedians I'm working. And you get to see
- 34:52Speaker 5: the TV show that you love combined with the comedians
- 34:54Speaker 5: that you love, so ye get along to it. I'm
- 34:56Speaker 5: surprised you're even here, yeah, because I think must be
- 34:58Speaker 5: sold out.
- 34:59Speaker 6: How much longer am I here? You know, I thought
- 35:03Speaker 6: you might get that right, lucky I saw him the
- 35:05Speaker 6: night before that.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, well cutos to you guys, because seriously there's
- 35:09Speaker 4: not a lot of New Zealand comedy on television anymore,
- 35:12Speaker 4: you know, genuinely. And you're going another year, I believe.
- 35:16Speaker 4: So this is all great.
- 35:17Speaker 6: Yeah, we're locked in for next year.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Thank in New Zealand on here. How good? So you
- 35:20Speaker 4: got to you've got a bit of life and the
- 35:22Speaker 4: old dog yet.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Ah yeah, especially if this new race based.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Jerry Corbett as always mate Pleasure, Pleasure.
- 35:32Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod.

- 35:42Speaker 4: the way, Mogi's got a major development on the family front.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I really do. Yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 5: You know, it's a beautiful time when you get a
- 35:50Speaker 5: new addition into the far noh there.
- 35:53Speaker 3: So I'll be going into.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Some pretty gritty details about the birth this morning, which
- 35:58Speaker 5: I got facetimed and tours zoomed. Yeah, it was all
- 36:01Speaker 5: the meetings. Yeah, yeah, it's pretty heroin stuff. But good times,
- 36:06Speaker 5: good times.
- 36:07Speaker 3: So good plus also after six we want to crank
- 36:10Speaker 3: your hog. I'd love to find out more. Stay tuned.
- 36:17Speaker 1: The whole Actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hold.
- 36:23Speaker 4: I can welcome back your massive backbones. I hope you're
- 36:25Speaker 4: surviving your Wednesday. You're listening to the Big Show brought
- 36:27Speaker 4: to you by Reburger.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Crave worthy street food freshly made by Reburger. How good
- 36:35Speaker 3: and real? Yeah?
- 36:37Speaker 4: So tight. Now I'm a little bit upset that on
- 36:45Speaker 4: Tuesday and now Wednesday and on Monday.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Wait, so the whole week?
- 36:49Speaker 4: Yeah, the whole.
- 36:50Speaker 5: Way Wednesday and Monday. Jeez, you should be in charge
- 36:54Speaker 5: of the countdown.
- 36:55Speaker 4: I should be.
- 36:56Speaker 3: I should you were for a bit with Metallica played
- 36:59Speaker 3: were I.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Know What's for Tea?
- 37:02Speaker 5: I am, Oh, what.
- 37:05Speaker 4: Are we thinking? It's just the top rating part of
- 37:09Speaker 4: our show and we've blown it this week?
- 37:12Speaker 5: We have, I mean we did it at the Low
- 37:13Speaker 5: Live show last week down and now Worington a Parrot
- 37:15Speaker 5: Dog there, it absolutely went off.
- 37:17Speaker 4: It did.
- 37:18Speaker 3: It didn't feel like it did.
- 37:19Speaker 4: It went off.
- 37:22Speaker 3: It felt like to me, but maybe my vibe is off.
- 37:24Speaker 3: There was a bit of a lull in the party
- 37:27Speaker 3: because people were listening so closely. Oh really, yeah, well
- 37:30Speaker 3: what about this, Jase? How it this? Check this out?
- 37:32Speaker 3: You know how we didn't do it Tuesday or Wednesday
- 37:35Speaker 3: or even Monday. Yes, what if we did it Thursday tomorrow?
- 37:41Speaker 3: Give people something to look forward to, Jace?
- 37:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 37:44Speaker 3: You just consider it.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Men. If we can get it in there, we need
- 37:47Speaker 4: to get it in there and there.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so we'll do that tomorrow. We won't ask for
- 37:50Speaker 3: text now that would just be weird.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Incidentally, how are your lamb balls and flat bread amazing?
- 37:56Speaker 3: So my wife made this amazing dish flatbread's homemade in
- 37:59Speaker 3: the air with tatziki yogurt stuff on it, lamb pickled
- 38:04Speaker 3: red onions, rocket salad. It was delicious. Yeah, great stuff.
- 38:07Speaker 3: It was one of my favorite meals we've had in ages.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you love that.
- 38:11Speaker 3: How is your soup? I know we hit salmon and
- 38:14Speaker 3: think about that soup. Man, put that in the air fryer.
- 38:18Speaker 3: It'll improve it.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Good idea, man, Yeah, because you found it delicious?
- 38:22Speaker 3: Akeys I did Jason was really really nice, man, Thanks
- 38:25Speaker 3: really good. You don't want to say then.
- 38:38Speaker 1: The Darkey Big Show week days from four on radio
- 38:41Speaker 1: hod DC.
- 38:42Speaker 4: There on the radio Holdankey Big Show and with it's
- 38:46Speaker 4: been a show of big announcements. Today Keys, he made
- 38:49Speaker 4: his big announcement that his shoes are too big. What
- 38:51Speaker 4: have you got for us, Mogi?
- 38:53Speaker 5: Well, I've had a new addition to the Mogi family.
- 38:56Speaker 4: How good.
- 38:57Speaker 5: It's really good, man, Yes, it's nice when the when
- 39:00Speaker 5: the family grows a little bit another baby around.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Not my baby. I thought you'd got like a gun
- 39:07Speaker 3: new dog or something. Babies are right, Well, there's no
- 39:10Speaker 3: replacing tinker tinker. Yeah, yeah, thanks for bringing.
- 39:13Speaker 8: That up, man, I'm sorry maybe, but yes, So my
- 39:22Speaker 8: sister in law, who lives down in or tucky about, yes,
- 39:28Speaker 8: fair area.
- 39:28Speaker 5: You're absolutely right, has this morning had a brand new
- 39:33Speaker 5: baby boy. Oh pretty good. So it's the second child
- 39:39Speaker 5: for them. I know, you and I Jay's we talk
- 39:45Speaker 5: about the pain that we've been through. For example, I've
- 39:47Speaker 5: had kidney stones torrender us pain renders and that went
- 39:52Speaker 5: for about forty nine hours or something like that. As
- 39:54Speaker 5: I you know, sort of went through the hospital system
- 39:56Speaker 5: recurring paint. Don't like banging on about it, kezy, but
- 40:00Speaker 5: we talk about that being more painful than a pregnancy. Yes,
- 40:03Speaker 5: my sister in law was in labor for one hundred
- 40:07Speaker 5: and forty seven hours.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred and forty seven hours.
- 40:13Speaker 5: Wow, one hundred and forty seven hours, So that twenty
- 40:16Speaker 5: one shy of a week. It's a long time to
- 40:19Speaker 5: be in hospital, man, it is. And the contractions were
- 40:24Speaker 5: just were NonStop. It was just one that it just contracted.
- 40:27Speaker 5: It was just non stop for seventy nine days.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, six days.
- 40:33Speaker 5: So it's it's a hell of a thing that they
- 40:35Speaker 5: go through women, and they do it for the continuation
- 40:39Speaker 5: of the human race. So let me just first and foremostykka,
- 40:43Speaker 5: yes to all women, Well, no to all the mothers.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Not a woman, right, that'll be like saying men as well,
- 40:49Speaker 5: So it should only be the mothers, right, Okay?
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yeah cool.
- 40:52Speaker 5: And of course, the reason why it took so long
- 40:54Speaker 5: for this young fellow to be born eighteen pound nine ounces.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Wow, is that big? It sounds bad.
- 41:02Speaker 5: That's big, man, that's pretty bad. That's sort of middling
- 41:05Speaker 5: to beg that's at the appar end.
- 41:06Speaker 3: That's a ball. Because I have not up to speed
- 41:11Speaker 3: with all the babies and stuff. What's like a standy
- 41:14Speaker 3: nine pounds pounds has to double the average side round about.
- 41:20Speaker 4: My food born was twenty three pounds.
- 41:22Speaker 3: That was a whipper. That is that is big. It's huge.
- 41:27Speaker 5: And how long was your wife and labor for that?
- 41:29Speaker 3: Um?
- 41:30Speaker 4: Well, because bub was so big it took forever.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I think it was eight days, right, so eight days
- 41:38Speaker 3: and she had, like I love, she had m.
- 41:44Speaker 4: She had like one big contraction. There was no break
- 41:47Speaker 4: in between, straight of pain of contractions.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, and they just shut up and get
- 41:52Speaker 3: on with it.
- 41:53Speaker 5: There's obviously there's the non stop screaming, yes, and the grunting.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Just to tune that out though, and oh you're just
- 42:01Speaker 4: mostally smoking darries.
- 42:02Speaker 5: Yeah, and if you can get on your sort of
- 42:04Speaker 5: your instra and all that sort of thing. But yeah,
- 42:05Speaker 5: so Keyser, you're probably from the age where you probably
- 42:08Speaker 5: know more about the kilos. So eighteen pound nine ounces
- 42:11Speaker 5: it's eight point four to two kilos.
- 42:13Speaker 3: That's massive. Big. Wow. That's a bonnie baby boy, it is.
- 42:18Speaker 3: It's a bonnie a bonnie wee boy.
- 42:20Speaker 5: Yes, there so, yeah, it takes a lot of fen
- 42:23Speaker 5: so and put it to you this way, they're having
- 42:26Speaker 5: to throw all of the baby clothes out and they're
- 42:28Speaker 5: going straight into four year old's clothes.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Oh wow, yeah, give it context right, because I'm saying
- 42:35Speaker 3: I'm seeing a pattern with you guys. Is that like,
- 42:37Speaker 3: is it mostly the nose in terms of the weight,
- 42:40Speaker 3: you know? Is that what it was for you guys?
- 42:42Speaker 4: Or is it.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Mike Jason? Does the baby have a massive honkert? Is there?
- 42:52Speaker 3: Why it weighs so much? Let me put it together
- 42:55Speaker 3: this way, The baby's got character.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Actually, Big show with j Smike and Keysy tune in
- 43:01Speaker 1: week dated four on Radio Hodach.
- 43:03Speaker 4: The Killers there on the Radio Hodarkey Big show this
- 43:06Speaker 4: Wednesday evening. Hey, fellers, have you ever heard the term
- 43:09Speaker 4: crank the hog? Oh?
- 43:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I invented it. Why we're using it on the radio? Jays?
- 43:16Speaker 4: Why are we using it on the radio Because we're
- 43:18Speaker 4: giving people the opportunity to crank their hog.
- 43:22Speaker 5: That doesn't feel like something that we should be doing.
- 43:25Speaker 3: No, hang on, Magi, I know A you're getting confused
- 43:26Speaker 3: because cranking the hog obviously means doing up your car. Yeah,
- 43:32Speaker 3: your hog cranking it is doing it up.
- 43:34Speaker 5: Yes, It's one of those things with the meaning of
- 43:35Speaker 5: the phrases change over time.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Yeah, because what the actually don't worry about it? Yes,
- 43:41Speaker 3: so we keen to crank your hog thanks to the
- 43:43Speaker 3: new road hog ends in I p A from pan HEREDJS.
- 43:46Speaker 5: Totally we are I p A. You know what that
- 43:48Speaker 5: stands for? Jason? Yes, good, I don't know. Indian palel.
- 43:52Speaker 5: There's a few of them around and it's it's got
- 43:56Speaker 5: a bit more flavoring it Jace.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I PAS and it feels like Indian pale ale. Yeah,
- 44:04Speaker 4: should just be one beer, do you mean? Well, it
- 44:07Speaker 4: should be like a just one beer as opposed to
- 44:13Speaker 4: a whole range of beers.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Oh, a range of I pas like one flavor.
- 44:19Speaker 4: It's Indian pale ale.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Well it is.
- 44:21Speaker 5: It's sort of like it's like a coler though, isn't it.
- 44:24Speaker 5: And lots of different colers get made and they've all
- 44:26Speaker 5: got their own attribute.
- 44:27Speaker 4: I guess.
- 44:27Speaker 5: So you know what I'm saying, man, Yes, because I
- 44:30Speaker 5: remember when it was when I first started bruin them
- 44:34Speaker 5: and with this is the weird thing about this and
- 44:36Speaker 5: a I p as are the IPA. Yes, it was
- 44:39Speaker 5: first brood in England.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Ah, it's weird.
- 44:42Speaker 5: Do you see what I'm saying. I thought it would
- 44:44Speaker 5: have been India, India that would make sense, and that
- 44:49Speaker 5: was in the seventeen hundreds. If you can believe that, Wow,
- 44:52Speaker 5: it's amazing how these facts. It's unbelievable, isn't it? Because
- 44:55Speaker 5: I've always been a student of beers. Yes, and they
- 44:59Speaker 5: just add What made it distinctive was that they added
- 45:03Speaker 5: extra hops and the ops of hops. Of course they
- 45:06Speaker 5: act as a preservative.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Yeah, And you need a preservative because it's got higher
- 45:12Speaker 5: alcohol content and the beer could survive the long voyage
- 45:16Speaker 5: from England to India.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Let's say India in this example, Jase.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Can I just say I don't see India as a
- 45:23Speaker 4: big beer place.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Well, this is a thing. You might not know this, Jase.
- 45:27Speaker 5: But the British colonized India, that makes more sense. They
- 45:30Speaker 5: were the drinkers of the beer, not so much the
- 45:33Speaker 5: Indian folk buying larger teetotal I don't drink at all.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And that's crazy because I had a
- 45:38Speaker 3: taste of this road hog ins at Ipa the other day.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and what I got from it was like
- 45:43Speaker 3: it was like an aggressively hopped sort of molts, bitterly
- 45:47Speaker 3: finished beauty thanging bright tropical tropical tones and zesty floral echoes.
- 45:52Speaker 3: That's what I got.
- 45:53Speaker 4: From right, yeah, right, okay, and it's available now.
- 45:56Speaker 5: But is it a session IPA or not so much?
- 45:59Speaker 4: I would session.
- 46:00Speaker 5: I don't think.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I think it's a special occasion. I pa I read
- 46:03Speaker 3: on it. Yeah, if I read, I mean drinking it responsibly.
- 46:07Speaker 3: But we are keen to crank your hog. If you

- 51:28Speaker 4: Run down, Well, I'm not surprised the way they were

- 51:39Speaker 3: was Isaac or Kate or someone in the office, and
- 51:41Speaker 3: I was like, oh, they want your salmon recipe. She'd
- 51:43Speaker 3: be like oh, and instantly she'd be like, but is
- 51:45Speaker 3: it even that good?
- 51:46Speaker 6: Is it?
- 51:46Speaker 3: And then they're gonna if it's bad, they're going to
- 51:47Speaker 3: think of him bad. You know that's already what goes
- 51:49Speaker 3: through her head, right throwing no guys using her as
- 51:56Speaker 3: a joke, really famous, So none of that she was
- 51:58Speaker 3: gonna talk about any of that. She's not even aware
- 52:00Speaker 3: of it.
- 52:01Speaker 4: That was in reference to me asking Keasy to get
- 52:06Speaker 4: his wife to pass on a recipe of my speaking
- 52:10Speaker 4: of what what are you having for dinner tonight?
- 52:11Speaker 5: Feelers, I never know it's universal. I can stop asking, concentrated,
- 52:18Speaker 5: that's a good idea, nothing because I ate here. So
- 52:22Speaker 5: last night when I was here, I had a dumpling

- 52:54Speaker 3: going to smirk on your face?
- 52:55Speaker 4: That's great?
- 52:56Speaker 3: No, because you're already lining up some sort of wacky
- 52:58Speaker 3: remark not at all. Having kim chief fried rice that's great,
- 53:02Speaker 3: and some chicken thigh thing with it.
