- 0:08Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It is time now for Car Talk with Brad Dunges
- 0:14Speaker 2: with Dunges Toyota.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Hey, good morning, Brad. We got the sun shining, and
- 0:17Speaker 3: I mean it, baby. It is beautiful out there. It's
- 0:20Speaker 3: car buying weather. It's very nice, hasn't it? It's a
- 0:23Speaker 3: beautiful day out there.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Well, good morning to you as well, Tom, and thank
- 0:27Speaker 2: you to everyone for joining us this morning.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Welcome to Car Talk. Welcome home. We're here. Good to
- 0:35Speaker 3: have you back.
- 0:36Speaker 2: One of our themes here at Dungeous Toyota is keeping
- 0:41Speaker 2: it simple and local and, you know, just focused on
- 0:46Speaker 2: getting better at what we do every day.
- 0:49Speaker 3: And you do it well, and the numbers prove it.
- 0:51Speaker 2: No, it has been a great year. We're really proud
- 0:55Speaker 2: of what we've accomplished this year. I was looking at
- 0:57Speaker 2: our Toyota inventory right now.
- 0:59Speaker 3: We've got....
- 1:01Speaker 2: I think 24 on the ground, which is a nice
- 1:06Speaker 2: number for us lately. One on transit, 31 more allocated.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Great selection of things like RAV4, Tundra, Tacoma, Camry.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Getting a few more Corollas. Really been focused on that.
- 1:25Speaker 2: That's been very popular lately with Fuel economy, high.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Interest for people. And then overall performance. And value. I
- 1:35Speaker 3: love the Corolla.
- 1:36Speaker 2: It's one of my favorite Toyotas, really, because it kind
- 1:41Speaker 2: of exemplifies the great value of Toyota. It doesn't cost
- 1:46Speaker 2: too much. It lasts forever. It's got great fuel economy.
- 1:50Speaker 2: It's comfortable. It's got all the technology in it. You know,
- 1:58Speaker 2: even in our lowest-cost vehicles, Toyota puts all the safety equipment,
- 2:03Speaker 2: all the great stuff to help you drive the car.
- 2:06Speaker 2: In today's world, that's becoming more and more important, I think.
- 2:11Speaker 3: And the technology just keeps getting better and better. And,
- 2:14Speaker 3: you know, so we've got that.
- 2:17Speaker 2: We've got a Grand Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoias, Siennas, five Siennas.
- 2:25Speaker 3: They're not here right now.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I was going to say, if they're here, they're not
- 2:28Speaker 1: going to last long.
- 2:28Speaker 3: No, they will not.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Those are great. They'll start arriving here soon. So, I mean,
- 2:36Speaker 2: this has really been part of our strategy over the
- 2:40Speaker 2: last couple years is to grow our inventory. We knew
- 2:43Speaker 2: the market was there.
- 2:46Speaker 3: We see.
- 2:48Speaker 2: We don't want to make it so people have to
- 2:50Speaker 2: go to Tulsa to shop for a Toyota. uh, this is, uh,
- 2:55Speaker 2: you know, we want to take care of our local
- 2:57Speaker 2: market here and focus on our customers, give you that
- 3:01Speaker 2: great service that we focus on the, our non-commissioned sales team,
- 3:06Speaker 2: the simple price with, with, uh, you know, discounts already
- 3:10Speaker 2: built in and, uh, make it, uh, transparent and easy
- 3:14Speaker 2: to buy a car.
- 3:15Speaker 3: We, we call it fun, actually. It should be fun. No,
- 3:20Speaker 3: it should be. It is, it is good.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And, And it's one of those things that, you know,
- 3:28Speaker 2: we want to enjoy what we do, too.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And our team loves to serve people.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I think it is a hospitality business, especially these days.
- 3:37Speaker 2: You know, I was reading that Carvana had sold over 200,000
- 3:43Speaker 2: vehicles in a quarter, which is amazing. It's over, it's
- 3:48Speaker 2: like one and a half percent of the car market.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Or something. How do they fit them in those PEZ dispensers?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Well, this is, I mean, but that's, that's, I mean,
- 3:57Speaker 1: they do have, uh, uh, like, uh, little, uh, this,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you know, automated display, uh, systems, uh, a, uh, convenience, uh, factor.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Uh, they're high tech, uh, car dealer, huge company. And the,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and there are so many large companies in the car business.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And I, you know, and that's great. It gives people
- 4:21Speaker 2: a choice and selection, simplicity in purchase. They retail automobiles
- 4:28Speaker 2: all over the country. And, you know, we're seeing this,
- 4:33Speaker 2: you know, throughout the new and used car business. But,
- 4:38Speaker 2: you know, that's just not who we are. We've been
- 4:40Speaker 2: a family-owned business now since 1929. My grandfather moved his
- 4:46Speaker 2: family to Bartlesville in 1941 and And, uh, we've got
- 4:50Speaker 2: Toyota in 1968 and, you know, at times he had dealerships.
- 4:55Speaker 3: He was in the fifties and sixties.
- 4:58Speaker 2: He was one of the first dealers to really start
- 5:00Speaker 2: expanding and having multiple franchises here in Bartlesville and also, uh,
- 5:06Speaker 2: dealerships in other communities. Um, But over the years, we've
- 5:13Speaker 2: kind of narrowed our focus and stayed here in Bartlesville.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That's our long-term commitment. We're a family-owned business. I've got
- 5:21Speaker 2: my brother, Bruce, is our used car manager. My son, William,
- 5:25Speaker 2: is our new car manager. We've got a great team
- 5:28Speaker 2: of others.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Wonderful team. Many of them worked there for decades.
- 5:35Speaker 2: We're proud of that and our legacy in the community,
- 5:38Speaker 2: how we support local organizations and, and, uh, and the
- 5:42Speaker 2: community as a whole, I think is, you know, it's
- 5:45Speaker 2: kind of the, the, the best of the car business
- 5:49Speaker 2: through all the decades, uh, you know, helping people with
- 5:53Speaker 2: their transportation needs and, and, uh, but also being a
- 5:57Speaker 2: responsible local, uh, business citizen and, and, uh, wanting to
- 6:01Speaker 2: do the best we can for our employees and, and
- 6:04Speaker 2: our customers. And, uh, You've got to listen and constantly
- 6:09Speaker 2: evolve and find ways to improve. We know we're not perfect.
- 6:14Speaker 2: We're human beings, and we make mistakes. We always want
- 6:18Speaker 2: to understand if we did something, what can we do better?
- 6:22Speaker 2: How can we avoid that in the future? I teach
- 6:26Speaker 2: our team not to run away from those complaints, not
- 6:29Speaker 2: to get defensive about it, to really listen and focus
- 6:34Speaker 2: on what it is that– that created the situation and
- 6:38Speaker 2: worked to solve the problem and take care of the
- 6:41Speaker 2: individual there in front of you who has an issue,
- 6:44Speaker 2: but also to keep it from happening the next time.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Very good, very good. We are in the, I mentioned
- 6:52Speaker 3: the great inventory.
- 6:53Speaker 2: We have, and there are some great deals right now.
- 6:57Speaker 2: We've just announced a new lower interest rate on Tundra,
- 7:02Speaker 2: so the 1.99%. APR for 72 months with approved credit
- 7:07Speaker 2: on Toyota Tundras. Everything but the TRD Pro, which I
- 7:12Speaker 2: don't have one of those anyway. So come take a selection.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I've got a great selection at Tundras. We've got great
- 7:21Speaker 2: low payments. If your payment is your main driver, put
- 7:27Speaker 2: together some sample payments this month for Tacoma at $ 415
- 7:31Speaker 2: a month. uh, forerunner for 20 per month and Tundra
- 7:39Speaker 2: at four 35. So, you know, we can, we can
- 7:43Speaker 2: get you to do that payment. You can go on
- 7:45Speaker 2: our website actually, uh, and calculate the payment yourself using
- 7:49Speaker 2: the same tool, the sales management and sales team do to, to, um,
- 7:55Speaker 2: to work the deal. Uh, just, you know, the, the
- 7:58Speaker 2: old back and forth and the, hiding the numbers games.
- 8:02Speaker 3: We avoid that. We pretty much always tried to avoid that.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But the reality is technology now enables us to push
- 8:10Speaker 2: that out so that you have the tools right at
- 8:13Speaker 2: your fingertips. If you're at home shopping for a car,
- 8:16Speaker 2: looking at our website, you can go pick the car
- 8:19Speaker 2: you want, put in your specific situation. You can select
- 8:25Speaker 2: the credit level you're at if you don't want to
- 8:27Speaker 2: put in your credit. You can load your credit information
- 8:31Speaker 2: and actually use your credit to build the deal. But
- 8:35Speaker 2: before you do that, you can just pick the level
- 8:37Speaker 2: where you think your credit score is.
- 8:40Speaker 3: It'll help you find the right loan. It's not perfect.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Many banks now use dynamic rate administration, so they don't really.
- 8:52Speaker 2: They don't have what they used to call a rate
- 8:54Speaker 2: sheet where if you were this, you got that.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Now it's individualized. It depends on how much money.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You put down, how you drive the vehicle, whether you're
- 9:05Speaker 2: trading something in. It looks at debt to income and
- 9:08Speaker 2: all those factors they always have. But you can get
- 9:12Speaker 2: to get the very best interest rate with the best
- 9:15Speaker 2: lenders in our market. Uh, the companies like our best
- 9:19Speaker 2: has been really strong lately. Uh, Truity credit union always is. Uh,
- 9:24Speaker 2: we've got, uh, some of the national banks are also
- 9:27Speaker 2: very aggressive. Uh, Toyota financial is, is a great option. Um,
- 9:32Speaker 2: and has these great, the great 1.99% on Tundra right now. And, uh,
- 9:39Speaker 2: and great lease options too, uh, for, for those that, that, uh,
- 9:45Speaker 2: That's not necessarily how most people in Oklahoma purchase their vehicles.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But some do. But some do. And we're doing more
- 9:53Speaker 2: and more leasing, especially in today's world where budget is hard.
- 10:00Speaker 2: with inflation and the cost of owning a vehicle. That's
- 10:04Speaker 2: one of the great things about Toyota is that we
- 10:07Speaker 2: have the long-term value.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Is really what we sell. The cars last a long time.
- 10:14Speaker 2: They maintain their value better than virtually any other brand
- 10:19Speaker 2: in the industry across the lineup. And that sets up
- 10:23Speaker 2: a situation where whether you're purchasing or leasing, you've got
- 10:27Speaker 2: your options and you know what you're putting your money
- 10:30Speaker 2: into is you'll be able to get the most out
- 10:33Speaker 2: when you get done using it, however long that is.
- 10:38Speaker 2: We are seeing payments go up based on, interest rates
- 10:45Speaker 2: and the cost of vehicles across the industry. So it
- 10:49Speaker 2: is important to have somebody help you work through that.
- 10:53Speaker 2: You don't want to end up in a situation where
- 10:57Speaker 2: you've got what they call inequity or you're upside down.
- 11:02Speaker 2: That means that you owe more than the vehicle's worth.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And sometimes that's, in the first period of ownership on
- 11:12Speaker 2: a new vehicle, that can be natural. It just happens
- 11:17Speaker 2: unless you put a significant amount of money down or
- 11:21Speaker 2: have a trade in, you have equity in.
- 11:23Speaker 3: But over time, as.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Loans have gotten longer and people do like to have
- 11:30Speaker 2: a newer vehicle, so they trade often and if you
- 11:33Speaker 2: take some inequity from one deal and roll it into
- 11:36Speaker 2: another or two or three vehicles down the line there,
- 11:40Speaker 2: it starts to grow and that's something.
- 11:43Speaker 3: We we try to work with our customers to keep.
- 11:45Speaker 2: That from, from happening and, and, uh, you know, really
- 11:49Speaker 2: advise them, uh, to, you know, how to, how to
- 11:52Speaker 2: keep that from happening, how to get out of it.
- 11:54Speaker 2: If you are, are in that situation, break the cycle. Uh,
- 11:59Speaker 2: it's worth, uh, it's worth taking some time and getting
- 12:02Speaker 2: out of that cycle so that you can, uh, expand your,
- 12:06Speaker 2: your buying power across, uh, for a vehicle or for
- 12:10Speaker 2: anything else or houses and, and other things, needs in
- 12:14Speaker 2: your life. And, you know, so that's something we take
- 12:18Speaker 2: to heart when we look at helping people select that
- 12:21Speaker 2: vehicle and how they're going to purchase it. And our
- 12:23Speaker 2: team has those tools to help you do that. So
- 12:27Speaker 2: you can really see what it's like to have a,
- 12:30Speaker 2: you know, what is the lowest payment I can get?
- 12:34Speaker 2: And what is that going to cost me over time
- 12:37Speaker 2: on the vehicle?
- 12:39Speaker 3: And then look at how you.
- 12:43Speaker 2: May use the vehicle if you like to keep them forever.
- 12:47Speaker 2: That's obviously an option, but we see a lot of
- 12:50Speaker 2: people today who want to trade every few years. The
- 12:52Speaker 2: three- to five-year trade cycle is common in our industry,
- 12:56Speaker 2: and I think that's probably the average person these days.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Life changes, too, all the time.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Sometimes that car that worked for you a few years ago,
- 13:07Speaker 2: if your family's expanding, You need a different kind of
- 13:10Speaker 2: vehicle than you've had or the family eventually shrinks.
- 13:13Speaker 3: They go off and they're buying their own cars. Sometimes
- 13:17Speaker 3: you're buying a Corolla Cross. Sometimes you're buying a Rav4.
- 13:21Speaker 3: That's right. Or even a Highlander. A Highlander. Take everybody
- 13:24Speaker 3: else's kids around. That's right.
- 13:27Speaker 2: We've got great other stuff going on. The dealership, service,
- 13:35Speaker 2: parts in the body shop, detail. have all been busy
- 13:39Speaker 2: this time of year. We've got great deals online for
- 13:46Speaker 2: service specials. If you want to get a little discount,
- 13:50Speaker 2: you can go on there and be sure to check
- 13:52Speaker 2: those out if you have something you need to get done.
- 13:55Speaker 2: We do maintenance and heavy repair on virtually all makes
- 13:59Speaker 2: and models of vehicles, so not just Toyotas. Certainly in
- 14:03Speaker 2: our body shop, We have the only dealership body shop
- 14:11Speaker 2: in Bartlesville right now, and that gives us access to
- 14:16Speaker 2: the OEM parts and the full spectrum of OEM service recommendations.
- 14:22Speaker 2: We work with all insurance companies and can help you
- 14:26Speaker 2: navigate that complex repair, often in today's world with the
- 14:31Speaker 2: vehicles with so much technology in them. it's amazing what
- 14:37Speaker 2: it takes to put a vehicle back together. And our
- 14:40Speaker 2: team is excellent at that. They've been doing it a
- 14:42Speaker 2: long time. And we do take that same approach we
- 14:46Speaker 2: do in helping you through the sales process into our service,
- 14:51Speaker 2: body shop, really every department that we have. And that's great.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Mike and the team in the body shop do a
- 15:02Speaker 2: great job. And we're really proud of them and what
- 15:08Speaker 2: else we did we've got some new tech we love
- 15:12Speaker 2: to try new things and so one thing this year
- 15:17Speaker 2: we've been trying to grow our inventory we talked about
- 15:21Speaker 2: the new car side and how that's worked we've also.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Been buying more and more used cars.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And for years we've really tried to shy away from
- 15:31Speaker 2: buying the cars that are at auction or, or formal
- 15:34Speaker 2: rental car vehicles. There are certain situations where that, that
- 15:38Speaker 2: we still do that, but, uh, we try to buy
- 15:41Speaker 2: off the street, try to buy local cars. Uh, they,
- 15:44Speaker 2: they have better value. Uh, in my opinion, they, we
- 15:48Speaker 2: know a lot of times about the history.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Of the vehicle.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Uh, they made a lot of times people around here,
- 15:55Speaker 2: they're either putting, You know, some highway miles, they may
- 15:59Speaker 2: commute to Tulsa for work or something, and they may
- 16:03Speaker 2: rack up the miles quickly, but those are really low-impact
- 16:07Speaker 2: miles on the vehicle. But then a lot of people
- 16:11Speaker 2: that just live and work in Bartlesville really don't put
- 16:14Speaker 2: miles on their car.
- 16:16Speaker 3: They keep their cars, you.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Know, 8 to 12 years, and often they're still, you know, 50,000, 60,000-mile cars.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And those are the best used cars.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Oh, they are.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And we'd love to have those. One thing we've noticed,
- 16:34Speaker 2: I was talking to Bruce this morning about what's going
- 16:39Speaker 2: on in the used car market. And we're seeing a
- 16:43Speaker 2: lot of the third-party valuation systems, like Kelley Blue Book,
- 16:48Speaker 2: Black Book, NADA, any of.
- 16:51Speaker 3: The Carvana systems. Carfax, they.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Are all in a range, but a lot of times
- 17:01Speaker 2: they're underestimating the value of your vehicle. It just depends,
- 17:07Speaker 2: of course. You check it out. We see a wide
- 17:11Speaker 2: variation of vehicles and what they need to get them
- 17:14Speaker 2: ready to sell again. A lot of times, I think
- 17:18Speaker 2: on average this year, we probably spend about $ 1, 200, $ 1, 500
- 17:20Speaker 2: on the average vehicle after we trade for it to
- 17:26Speaker 2: get it ready for retail. So people are thinking, well,
- 17:32Speaker 2: should I sell it myself.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Or trade it in?
- 17:35Speaker 2: You've got to remember that to really make it equal
- 17:40Speaker 2: to the retail value, you're going to need to invest
- 17:43Speaker 2: that money to repair any concerns that may be there.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And they may or may not be obvious to you,
- 17:51Speaker 2: but we do a complete used vehicle inspection on every vehicle.
- 17:55Speaker 2: We go through with a fine-tooth comb and really make
- 17:57Speaker 2: sure that everything we put out on our used car
- 17:59Speaker 2: lot is top-notch and has been well-maintained. We have now
- 18:06Speaker 2: some great technology that helps us with that cosmetic valuation.
- 18:12Speaker 2: This has become important because a lot of people, we
- 18:16Speaker 2: look at cars all over the region and sometimes many,
- 18:20Speaker 2: many hundreds of miles away.
- 18:22Speaker 3: So I can't see the car.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Touch it so we have a tool that the customer
- 18:29Speaker 2: can take pictures of the vehicle and it loads into
- 18:33Speaker 2: our system it gives us a great third party evaluation
- 18:37Speaker 2: of the vehicle it identifies blemishes things like tire tread
- 18:42Speaker 2: can be measured through a photograph it's really cool stuff
- 18:49Speaker 2: and it does help us get usually get you more
- 18:52Speaker 2: for your trade and Like I said, a lot of times,
- 18:58Speaker 2: because we deal a lot with Kelly Blue Buck Instant
- 19:00Speaker 2: Cash Offer, we are a buying center for them, that
- 19:05Speaker 2: that valuation is sometimes hundreds or thousands less than what
- 19:11Speaker 2: we're able to put in the car under those perfect
- 19:15Speaker 2: conditions where it's in good shape and doesn't need a
- 19:17Speaker 2: lot of maintenance and repair.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Good. Yeah. So check that out.
- 19:22Speaker 2: If you are interested in selling a vehicle, have an
- 19:24Speaker 2: extra one, or just want to make sure, kind of
- 19:30Speaker 2: double check an offer from someone else, bring it to us.
- 19:34Speaker 2: We'll be happy to help you through that process and
- 19:38Speaker 2: make sure you're getting the very best deal possible for
- 19:41Speaker 2: your vehicle. We've got, as I mentioned, the end of
- 19:46Speaker 2: the month, big Halloween weekend coming up here.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 19:49Speaker 2: everybody to be safe out there and you know get
- 19:53Speaker 2: lots of candy hopefully the candy goblins are are busy
- 19:59Speaker 2: cranking out the chocolate and other things visit your dentist
- 20:04Speaker 2: in a week or two.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Well, it is that time of year.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I know the kids are excited to put on their
- 20:10Speaker 2: costumes and run around the neighborhoods. But do be safe
- 20:14Speaker 2: out there. Big parties and things going on. Lots of
- 20:20Speaker 2: people around town. It's been a busy time of year.
- 20:23Speaker 2: There's lots going on in the community, too. Lots of
- 20:26Speaker 2: Halloween stuff cranking up, I think, today and tomorrow and
- 20:30Speaker 2: Saturday as well.
- 20:33Speaker 3: We'll be....
- 20:35Speaker 2: Donna Keffer is going to come on next week. She's
- 20:38Speaker 2: the new director at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of
- 20:43Speaker 2: Oklahoma and Bortlesville area.
- 20:46Speaker 3: She's a long old friend of ours. She's been here
- 20:49Speaker 3: a lot of times.
- 20:50Speaker 2: She's joined us before on the show, but she's now
- 20:53Speaker 2: joined that great organization. We're excited to see Todd go
- 20:57Speaker 2: on to a new organization. new role at the Sutton
- 21:01Speaker 2: Avian Research Center. But I was talking to him recently, too,
- 21:06Speaker 2: and we'll try to get him on.
- 21:07Speaker 3: But, you know, those are just.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Two very different organizations, but doing great work here in
- 21:16Speaker 2: Bartlesville to help our community remain strong and.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Proud of those two great people. And Don will be
- 21:24Speaker 3: on next week.
- 21:25Speaker 2: If you're interested in that, you can learn more about
- 21:28Speaker 2: Big Brothers Big Sisters. I know they're always looking for
- 21:31Speaker 2: more volunteers and looking to help our kids through great things.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I know the.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Young Scholars program, I think, has a pancake breakfast coming
- 21:45Speaker 2: up in a few weeks. So you might check that
- 21:49Speaker 2: out if you're interested in supporting Young Scholars, which is
- 21:52Speaker 2: a It started separate from Big Brothers Big Sisters, but
- 21:56Speaker 2: they work together now real closely.
- 21:59Speaker 3: It is great.
- 22:01Speaker 2: My wife Kimberly has a little sister that she works
- 22:05Speaker 2: with and she's part of the Young Scholars part of that.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I tell you, it's really rewarding for her. She enjoys
- 22:14Speaker 2: it greatly as our kids have grown up and not
- 22:19Speaker 2: in the house anymore it's been great for her to
- 22:23Speaker 2: just stay helpful to someone and she you know she
- 22:27Speaker 2: was a teacher for a long time too so she
- 22:29Speaker 2: loves that mentoring and helping helping people uh you know
- 22:35Speaker 2: nothing the parent isn't doing too but but it's all
- 22:38Speaker 2: uh you know dad's helped her I think open up
- 22:42Speaker 2: new things because Kimberly will take her to ballet or
- 22:45Speaker 2: Tulsa and stuff and, and just show her things that.
- 22:48Speaker 3: She might not have gotten to do otherwise. And, uh, that's,
- 22:52Speaker 3: that's great stuff. You get to widen your horizons.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:56Speaker 3: All right.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Well, I, I guess, uh, you know, once we get
- 23:00Speaker 2: wrap up the show here, you know, we've got, uh,
- 23:03Speaker 2: the big deals on Tundra and Tacoma. If you're interested
- 23:06Speaker 2: in a new vehicle, give our team a shout there.
- 23:09Speaker 2: You got, uh, Great selection of vehicles right now. I
- 23:12Speaker 2: know if you were, you know, we've had a lot
- 23:15Speaker 2: of people looking for RAV4s this year, and the inventory
- 23:18Speaker 2: is finally kind of growing and reaching the right level.
- 23:24Speaker 2: We've got, I think, I looked at it, 12 or
- 23:27Speaker 2: 13 RAV4s either on the ground or incoming. So great
- 23:31Speaker 2: selection of RAV4. Got Tacoma, I think six or seven
- 23:37Speaker 2: of those. Equal number of Tundras. Most of those are
- 23:41Speaker 2: in stock right now. We've got great interest rate on
- 23:45Speaker 2: Tundra at 1.99% for 72 months, which is going to
- 23:50Speaker 2: save you thousands of dollars over the period alone on
- 23:53Speaker 2: the car. Sienna, Sequoia, two great Sequoias are in stock
- 24:01Speaker 2: and on the ground right now. Love those vehicles. A
- 24:06Speaker 2: couple of 4Runners are allocated to us. We've been selling
- 24:09Speaker 2: quite a few 4Runners lately, and that's my latest ride
- 24:15Speaker 2: is a 4Runner. So I've worked my way through the
- 24:18Speaker 2: Sequoia and the Land Cruiser, and now I'm doing the 4Runner,
- 24:21Speaker 2: kind of trying them all out. I'm impressed with the 4Runner.
- 24:25Speaker 2: It's a great vehicle. Drives very similar to the Land Cruiser.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Costs just a little bit less. Very... I think it's
- 24:36Speaker 2: a great value. People should come check out 4Runner. I
- 24:43Speaker 2: mentioned the Camrys. We've got just one on the ground
- 24:48Speaker 2: right now, but about eight or nine of them that
- 24:52Speaker 2: are allocated to us. And Camry is such a great value.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I mentioned I talked a bit about Corolla there, but
- 25:00Speaker 2: the Camry has its– They're all hybrids now. And don't
- 25:06Speaker 2: let that scare you away from the vehicle. The Toyota
- 25:10Speaker 2: hybrid system, it's a battery and a gas engine together.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Toyota has been building hybrids since the 1990s.
- 25:21Speaker 3: And we have very few issues with this technology. It
- 25:25Speaker 3: lasts forever.
- 25:27Speaker 2: It comes with a 10-year warranty on the vehicle. It's
- 25:32Speaker 2: a great a way to combine fuel economy and power.
- 25:38Speaker 3: On some of.
- 25:39Speaker 2: The vehicles, it's not necessarily teed up for fuel economy.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Some on the trucks, a lot of times it's there
- 25:46Speaker 2: for real power and torque, so for how they use vehicles.
- 25:50Speaker 2: It also gives you a little better fuel economy. But
- 25:54Speaker 2: you combine that with a turbocharger, and you do get
- 25:57Speaker 2: some power and torque for towing, for.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Any application you're going to use your truck for. So anyway,
- 26:08Speaker 2: hybrids are great, but Camry will get you over 50
- 26:11Speaker 2: miles to the gallon, and that can sure save you
- 26:15Speaker 2: a lot of money.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Very good. Very dependable, those Camrys. They are, and they're comfortable, too.
- 26:22Speaker 3: They've been a certain standard for many, many years, like
- 26:24Speaker 3: you said. And folks, once they get them, they don't
- 26:27Speaker 3: want to get them back.
- 26:28Speaker 2: You know, 10, 15, 20, and going further back, they
- 26:33Speaker 2: were kind of a, you know, they weren't necessarily the
- 26:36Speaker 2: most stylish car is how I'll say it.
- 26:39Speaker 3: But they are today. They were very practical.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Very practical. But today they are stylish and really, you know, very,
- 26:48Speaker 2: You'll come look good. You'll feel comfort. You'll feel good
- 26:52Speaker 2: driving it. You'll look good too. Better to look marvelous. No,
- 26:56Speaker 2: that's right. So come check us out online at DungeonsToyota.com.
