Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome to Tea Time with Amy and Bev.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Welcome back.
- 0:06Speaker 2: How are you doing?
- 0:10Speaker 1: I'm doing quite well, thanks for asking. As you know,
- 0:17Speaker 1: I listen to podcasts a lot. I listen to them
- 0:22Speaker 1: while I'm getting ready for work in the morning. I
- 0:25Speaker 1: listen to them on my way to work, on my
- 0:27Speaker 1: way home. I'll listen to them when I'm cooking dinner
- 0:31Speaker 1: or having breakfast. Like I fit that in as much
- 0:36Speaker 1: as possible with things that are going to help me
- 0:39Speaker 1: as I move forward. Business mindset, um, perspective about money.
- 0:47Speaker 1: That's been, um, a big, uh, topic of interest for
- 0:54Speaker 1: several years. One learning how to get out of debt
- 0:58Speaker 1: and not, uh, continuously sabotaging my financial status and then
- 1:05Speaker 1: changing my perspective in being wealthy and just so so
- 1:10Speaker 1: put it in perspective wealthy simply means good health and
- 1:17Speaker 1: good health pertains to all facets of our life all
- 1:22Speaker 1: areas and that includes money um so I also listen
- 1:30Speaker 1: to other things. Um, sometimes I'll listen to, to enough
- 1:35Speaker 1: podcasts where it's on the same topic. And then after
- 1:39Speaker 1: a while, you know, I just kind of like, okay,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I need to, I need to listen to something different now.
- 1:43Speaker 1: So I'll switch it up. So, um, but anyway, I've
- 1:47Speaker 1: been listening to a gentleman. I mentioned him a couple
- 1:51Speaker 1: of times, Myron Golden. He was interviewing a gentleman on
- 1:54Speaker 1: one of his podcast episodes. And, um, this one actually,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I just was got this morning just before we hopped
- 2:06Speaker 1: on to do our first recording. Um, and you know, I've, I've,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I say this all the time. I've heard the things
- 2:15Speaker 1: I've heard things before, but now I'm hearing them differently,
- 2:20Speaker 1: which is what happens, right? We, we read a book,
- 2:24Speaker 1: but we can go down and go back five times,
- 2:26Speaker 1: read it again. And every time we're going to get
- 2:28Speaker 1: something different out of it because we've, changed we our
- 2:31Speaker 1: mindset has changed our perspectives have changed our energy has
- 2:35Speaker 1: changed so when we reread a book or re-listen to
- 2:40Speaker 1: a podcast or um whatever the case may be that
- 2:45Speaker 1: that we receive information the same information either we actually
- 2:51Speaker 1: hear it this time or we receive it differently we
- 2:56Speaker 1: process it differently So what I'm getting at is that,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, we've listened to Abraham Hicks and you create
- 3:06Speaker 1: your reality. And that doesn't sit well with people. Didn't
- 3:11Speaker 1: sit well with me when I first heard that. And
- 3:16Speaker 1: it was like one of those things if I could
- 3:18Speaker 1: have reached through and punched somebody in the face, I
- 3:21Speaker 1: would have. And because I was like, there's no way
- 3:24Speaker 1: I did this. There's no way I did this. This
- 3:27Speaker 1: is not my fault. That my life sucks. So, of course,
- 3:35Speaker 1: as I moved through the years and learned more about
- 3:40Speaker 1: energy and mindset and all the things, I get it.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I get it now. But let me see if I
- 3:47Speaker 1: can explain this. This is what I heard in this
- 3:51Speaker 1: podcast this morning. You have the past, the present, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: the future. Your past could... If you allow it, define
- 4:00Speaker 1: your present, which means you're still living from a perspective
- 4:06Speaker 1: of this happened to me. And because this happened to me,
- 4:09Speaker 1: this is why I am the way I am with, uh,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm going to put negative connotations on it. Okay. I'm poor. Uh, uh,
- 4:20Speaker 1: men suck. Um, nothing ever goes right for me, right?
- 4:25Speaker 1: That victim mentality. So if I am focused on my
- 4:27Speaker 1: past and I allow the past to define who I am,
- 4:30Speaker 1: then this is my perspective and I am not happy,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm depressed, I'm angry, whatever the case may be. However,
- 4:40Speaker 1: in the present moment, in the present, if you change
- 4:46Speaker 1: your perspective about your past and allow your past to
- 4:52Speaker 1: propel you, then that is defining your future. So my
- 5:02Speaker 1: present moment based on how I'm perceiving my past is
- 5:07Speaker 1: projecting my future. I was like, damn, like it was
- 5:16Speaker 1: a new way to hear that. And we know when,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so now we go back to you create your reality
- 5:23Speaker 1: and If I sit here and keep focusing on my
- 5:26Speaker 1: past and how horrible it was, then I am projecting
- 5:30Speaker 1: that into my future and my future is going to
- 5:33Speaker 1: continue with the same story. But in my present, if
- 5:38Speaker 1: I reframe what my past was, my past experiences were like,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and what meaning I put to them, and I can
- 5:50Speaker 1: use that information today to help me be and do better.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Now my future is going to be a whole different story.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And both of us know that because of our past,
- 6:05Speaker 1: if we were still living in those stories, we wouldn't
- 6:08Speaker 1: have been doing this podcast for six years, seven years.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I think we're in our seventh year. Okay.
- 6:17Speaker 2: 2019, 2020.
- 6:17Speaker 1: So six years. Um, We wouldn't be doing this if
- 6:25Speaker 1: we were still living in the stories that we had
- 6:29Speaker 1: about our past. Now, we might do it, but it's
- 6:35Speaker 1: going to have a whole different type of energy with...
- 6:42Speaker 1: Probably some heavy perspectives, right? It's going to be a
- 6:44Speaker 1: whole different Amy and Bev. It'll probably be Amy and
- 6:48Speaker 1: Bev fuck the world or something like that. I don't know.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Not tea time with Amy and Pat.
- 6:56Speaker 2: No, definitely not. You're right.
- 6:58Speaker 1: We're going to be cheering with some tequila or something
- 7:00Speaker 1: like cheers.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Let's talk about.
- 7:02Speaker 1: The world's problems.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Taking a shot every time we come up with a
- 7:06Speaker 2: new idea or something. Yeah. I mean, it would have
- 7:12Speaker 2: probably gotten a lot of attention to be hilarious, but
- 7:15Speaker 2: on the, and the thing is that's to remember to
- 7:17Speaker 2: also be hilarious and be fun. We don't have to
- 7:20Speaker 2: have those to do that. Yeah. in being enlightened. You
- 7:24Speaker 2: know what I mean? Right.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyway, that, that was, uh, something. So anyway,
- 7:32Speaker 1: they followed that up with the only way a person
- 7:34Speaker 1: can eventually move forward is by in the present moment,
- 7:37Speaker 1: reshape what that experience meant. So they can now do
- 7:42Speaker 1: better things because of it. And that's what we have done.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You and I, yeah. Walking this similar journey. Um, We
- 7:53Speaker 1: had our history. We did some healing, still healing certain
- 7:58Speaker 1: aspects within ourselves. And life keeps getting better and better
- 8:04Speaker 1: and better and better. Yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 2: You say all that. And we've talked recently how I've
- 8:10Speaker 2: had experiences. You know, I've looked back in my experiences
- 8:15Speaker 2: with my biological father and everything else. I've looked back
- 8:18Speaker 2: at a lot of that stuff. I've explored some of
- 8:19Speaker 2: the family stuff. gain new insight have a different perspective
- 8:23Speaker 2: and i feel so much freer so much freer that
- 8:27Speaker 2: the other night uh freeman had mentioned something about um
- 8:33Speaker 2: my dad or whatever we were talking about it and
- 8:36Speaker 2: i felt so much love well up inside of me
- 8:39Speaker 2: i never felt that my whole freaking life so i
- 8:40Speaker 2: just sat there in that space for a few minutes
- 8:42Speaker 2: and sent that to him too i would never have
- 8:46Speaker 2: had that feeling if I was still holding on to
- 8:49Speaker 2: the previous version of what I perceived that story to be.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And then the story got to change. And when that
- 8:58Speaker 2: story got to change, it freed me to be able
- 9:03Speaker 2: to feel something like that was, it was awesome. Overwhelming.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But not overwhelming in a bad way. Just like, like
- 9:12Speaker 2: a flood, like a, like a feel good flood went
- 9:15Speaker 2: through my body. And it's like I said, I wouldn't
- 9:18Speaker 2: have been able to have that opportunity if I had
- 9:20Speaker 2: still been holding on to the old story, not allowing
- 9:24Speaker 2: my and keeping myself a prisoner to that old story.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And then not only am I keeping myself the prisoner
- 9:29Speaker 2: to that old story, I'm keeping those other people that
- 9:32Speaker 2: I've put in that story, a prisoner to that part
- 9:35Speaker 2: of the story. Right. And it's not even true. It's like,
- 9:38Speaker 2: let everybody go. So when we talk about cutting cords,
- 9:42Speaker 2: it's not cutting cords to Yeah. Yeah. their self how
- 9:52Speaker 2: they showed up in that time frame or how you
- 9:54Speaker 2: perceived that they had shown up in that time frame
- 9:59Speaker 2: yeah so and this has been leading me down a
- 10:02Speaker 2: path where i even had i'm getting rid of stuff
- 10:06Speaker 2: in it and even cards i went through i got
- 10:09Speaker 2: married in 1997 i have the receipts for everything that
- 10:12Speaker 2: i paid for for 1997 for that wedding i had
- 10:15Speaker 2: all the responses back from people that were coming to
- 10:18Speaker 2: the wedding or couldn't make it to the wedding I
- 10:20Speaker 2: had all the cards that I had ever been given
- 10:23Speaker 2: from that wedding day, all the well wishes. I took
- 10:27Speaker 2: them all out this last week and I burned them
- 10:29Speaker 2: all because to me, I just now freed all that
- 10:33Speaker 2: those wishes out into the universe for myself and for
- 10:36Speaker 2: everybody else. And for the persons that sent it, their
- 10:39Speaker 2: well wishes, I set it all free. I it's, it's
- 10:42Speaker 2: not contained in one space. It's all energy. But for me,
- 10:45Speaker 2: that was very freeing. And it's also been allowing me
- 10:48Speaker 2: to grow in a different way. It's allowing me to
- 10:51Speaker 2: see I'm changing the story. I'm not making anything a negative.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm taking it and I'm like, okay, this is great.
- 10:57Speaker 2: He's got all that stuff. It's, this is coming out
- 10:59Speaker 2: to him. This is coming to me. This is coming
- 11:01Speaker 2: to me in my current relationship and our, in our
- 11:04Speaker 2: bond that we have here. It's, it's all these well
- 11:08Speaker 2: wishes that we've ever received. And so now I'm going
- 11:10Speaker 2: to go, I've got my cards since I was a
- 11:12Speaker 2: birthday or since I was a little kid. from my grandparents,
- 11:15Speaker 2: from everybody. It's not necessary to hold on to that. Now,
- 11:19Speaker 2: if I want a signature, yeah, but to hold on
- 11:21Speaker 2: to every single card that I've ever had, it doesn't
- 11:25Speaker 2: make sense to me anymore. Because eventually, someday, I'm not
- 11:30Speaker 2: going to be in this physical body anymore. And then eventually, someday,
- 11:34Speaker 2: whoever's left behind that's still here on the planet is
- 11:38Speaker 2: going to be the one to go through all that stuff.
- 11:40Speaker 2: And it's not even necessary. It's not necessary for them
- 11:43Speaker 2: to have all that stuff. To even go through it.
- 11:46Speaker 2: It should be a lot easier. Because I shouldn't. It's
- 11:48Speaker 2: not I shouldn't or couldn't or wouldn't. It's not any
- 11:51Speaker 2: of that stuff. But what feels good to me is
- 11:53Speaker 2: to let that stuff go. It's not to hold on
- 11:56Speaker 2: to it.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah. And I like that. The freeing of you and them. Yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I like that. And it's the same with changing your
- 12:09Speaker 1: perspective about. The past. When you can reframe. your perspective
- 12:16Speaker 1: of the past, because if you don't know, and I'm
- 12:19Speaker 1: not speaking to you, Bev, I'm speaking to the audience,
- 12:21Speaker 1: if you don't know, you don't know the whole story
- 12:24Speaker 1: of all the things that happened. You don't know all
- 12:27Speaker 1: the details. You don't know the story from one side
- 12:32Speaker 1: and the story of the other side. You developed a
- 12:36Speaker 1: perspective of the experience based on your information and knowledge.
- 12:43Speaker 1: And you don't know the whole picture. And you may
- 12:46Speaker 1: never know the whole picture. But if you can change
- 12:50Speaker 1: the way you are perceiving the experience and reframe it,
- 12:57Speaker 1: then that not only frees you, but it frees them too.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Because like you said, you are holding them in a
- 13:05Speaker 1: container of how you saw they were showing up. But
- 13:12Speaker 1: if you were to ever know the whole story, They
- 13:17Speaker 1: were showing up in the best way they knew how
- 13:19Speaker 1: to show up. So a reframe sets you free and
- 13:28Speaker 1: them because you're no longer in bondage to them. Yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with a lady the other day.
- 13:36Speaker 1: She's wanting to start her own business and she shared
- 13:41Speaker 1: with me what it is. And it's going to be
- 13:44Speaker 1: super valuable for so many. her lack of self-confidence and
- 13:49Speaker 1: I totally resonate with her because similar, my similar story,
- 13:54Speaker 1: lack of self-confidence. I don't believe in myself. I don't
- 13:57Speaker 1: know if I'm worthy of this, um, of the, the
- 14:02Speaker 1: abundance of prosperity. It will bring me like all the
- 14:07Speaker 1: things that she's going through. And she has people in
- 14:12Speaker 1: her life currently that she's hanging on to. because it's
- 14:18Speaker 1: her familiarity. She knows what to expect with them. She
- 14:23Speaker 1: knows how to, how she's going to react to them.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Like she's continuously living the same loop of the same story,
- 14:33Speaker 1: similar people, different names, different faces. And I said, close
- 14:43Speaker 1: your eyes for a minute and just imagine that Those
- 14:48Speaker 1: people that are in your life right now that are
- 14:52Speaker 1: giving you grief, that are creating struggles for you, imagine
- 14:58Speaker 1: that those are chains and they are attached to your
- 15:01Speaker 1: legs and your arms, your wrists. They're holding you. And
- 15:07Speaker 1: all you have to do is open your mouth and
- 15:10Speaker 1: speak to somebody about what you do. And that person
- 15:16Speaker 1: says yes to what you have to offer. And then
- 15:20Speaker 1: those chains break and you step into something new and
- 15:26Speaker 1: release the old. How freeing does that feel? And we
- 15:34Speaker 1: can just do that on a regular basis. Every day.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Honestly, every day.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You don't have to be creating a business or anything.
- 15:43Speaker 1: It's just the idea that if you did one thing differently,
- 15:49Speaker 1: To begin a new chapter, to release old stories, how
- 15:55Speaker 1: freeing would that be? And as I was talking to
- 16:02Speaker 1: her about it, of course it was for me. It
- 16:04Speaker 1: wasn't for her, it was for me. I was like,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I hope you're listening to what you're saying, Amy. I
- 16:10Speaker 1: hope you heard that.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Because there's this flow of information that's flowing through
- 16:16Speaker 2: us at all times. And the other person is our
- 16:19Speaker 2: opportunity to be able to express ourselves in the way
- 16:22Speaker 2: that we can actually hear ourselves, what we're saying. So
- 16:24Speaker 2: now it's like, it's like our souls getting our attention
- 16:27Speaker 2: through our mouth.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah. And, and when we say it, we hear it.
- 16:32Speaker 1: It's not just a thinking thing because in your thoughts,
- 16:36Speaker 1: you're just like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Whatever. Right.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You can dismiss them a lot easier. But when you
- 16:43Speaker 1: actually say it and you hear it, then you stop
- 16:49Speaker 1: and you go, oh, that was for me too. So
- 16:53Speaker 1: I think I better listen to what I just said
- 16:56Speaker 1: to you.
- 17:00Speaker 2: It's true.
- 17:02Speaker 1: So, yes, we definitely hold ourselves in bondage to our history.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And allow it to keep us stuck. That's our excuse
- 17:13Speaker 1: to keep us stuck. I had a conversation with a
- 17:17Speaker 1: lady not too long ago where she's just down and
- 17:19Speaker 1: out because her daughters, who are grown-ass adults, are blaming
- 17:23Speaker 1: her for how their life is. And I looked at
- 17:26Speaker 1: her and that's what I said. I said, they're grown-ass adults.
- 17:30Speaker 1: They could change that anytime they wanted to. Why are
- 17:35Speaker 1: you feeling guilty? but it's the hold, right? It's the chains.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Because I know what to expect in these conversations. I
- 17:47Speaker 1: know that it's safer for me to keep beating myself
- 17:53Speaker 1: up because I don't know what it's like not to.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And in the last video, we talked about that. Like
- 18:01Speaker 1: I do things in the moment and realize I'm not
- 18:05Speaker 1: thinking about anything. Whereas in the past, I would have
- 18:09Speaker 1: filled that up with How horrible I am. What if
- 18:13Speaker 1: everything goes wrong? What am I going to do to
- 18:17Speaker 1: pay the electric bill? Like, all these thoughts just reiterating
- 18:22Speaker 1: my not good enough story. And I'm not doing that now. Yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 1: It's very seldom I ever do that now. But I
- 18:34Speaker 1: had to take the steps to... First of all, to
- 18:38Speaker 1: change my perspective about my history. That was a huge piece,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and that's the work. That's the work. And people, I say,
- 18:46Speaker 1: people don't like to do the work. They want the
- 18:47Speaker 1: magic pill, just make it all go away, and then
- 18:50Speaker 1: I can be happy. Newsflash doesn't work that way, just saying.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But I did the work to change my perspective and
- 19:00Speaker 1: utilize the information of my past to help me propel
- 19:04Speaker 1: in my future. To do... to do things differently in
- 19:09Speaker 1: my present so I have a better future. And good news,
- 19:16Speaker 1: bad news, nobody can do that for you. It's your responsibility.
- 19:20Speaker 1: It's my responsibility. It's in my hands, my control. And
- 19:26Speaker 1: if there's anything I want to be in control of,
- 19:28Speaker 1: that's it.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Me.
- 19:31Speaker 1: My future.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing else. Nothing, nobody else. I don't mind being
- 19:39Speaker 2: the guide, but that's pretty much it. You know, you're talking,
- 19:42Speaker 2: you were talking about that person and I, and I'm
- 19:44Speaker 2: thinking she needs to cut, doesn't need to, but she
- 19:47Speaker 2: could cut cords with her old version of herself. That's
- 19:50Speaker 2: keeping yourself in that space. And also recognizing as soon
- 19:53Speaker 2: as we start blaming somebody for anything, blaming a person,
- 19:56Speaker 2: a place, a thing, or whatever the experience is, when
- 20:00Speaker 2: you're putting out blame, you are tying, you're tethering yourself
- 20:03Speaker 2: to that, that experience, that person, that place, that thing,
- 20:07Speaker 2: that perspective. And you keep yourself a prisoner in that space. Man,
- 20:12Speaker 2: just stop for a second and feel things. And I
- 20:16Speaker 2: think that's a big deal, too, because a lot of
- 20:17Speaker 2: times we learned not to feel things. The other day,
- 20:20Speaker 2: a couple days ago, my grandsons were playing, wrestling around.
- 20:24Speaker 2: One of them was standing on top of a table,
- 20:27Speaker 2: a little coffee table, and the other one kind of
- 20:29Speaker 2: pushed the other one. And he fell down, and he's
- 20:33Speaker 2: now in a soft cast because he has a buckle problem.
- 20:37Speaker 2: they call the buckle fracture. And it's because his bones
- 20:41Speaker 2: are still young and not fully formed that when it happened,
- 20:45Speaker 2: it created this... They say that he'll heal perfectly fine
- 20:49Speaker 2: from it, but currently he's in a cast that we
- 20:51Speaker 2: just had a birthday with yesterday. But it's like it's
- 20:55Speaker 2: that perspective and he sat and beat himself up. I
- 20:58Speaker 2: could feel all this energy coming from him, but he's
- 21:01Speaker 2: not vocalizing it, but I could feel it coming from him.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I could feel... I don't want to be here. So
- 21:07Speaker 2: I find ways to talk to him about stuff like this,
- 21:11Speaker 2: talking to him about how we can feel things, you know,
- 21:13Speaker 2: because he does. And he could talk to me about
- 21:17Speaker 2: that because I don't think there's a lot of people
- 21:18Speaker 2: he can talk to about that. And I know he can't.
- 21:22Speaker 2: We're just sitting here the other day and he leans over,
- 21:24Speaker 2: he lays on to one of the dogs and he's like,
- 21:26Speaker 2: my leg started hurting. I'm pretty sure it's his leg
- 21:28Speaker 2: that's hurting. And so we start narrowing things down and
- 21:32Speaker 2: discussing this. I'm just the guide. I've had these experiences
- 21:36Speaker 2: and now I get to be in the experience with
- 21:37Speaker 2: someone else. I'm not doing the old push like I
- 21:40Speaker 2: used to try to push. I've got all this knowledge
- 21:42Speaker 2: and information. I want to push it on you. You
- 21:44Speaker 2: can understand this. Take it all right now. I don't
- 21:46Speaker 2: do that anymore. I just sit and I let him
- 21:49Speaker 2: start having conversations. Sometimes I give them too much information
- 21:52Speaker 2: and I'll look at him and I'll be like, I
- 21:54Speaker 2: said too much information, huh? And he's like, yeah, let's
- 21:56Speaker 2: go play now, grandma, or whatever he'll say. But I
- 21:59Speaker 2: know that he hears things because then he brings it
- 22:01Speaker 2: up again later on. He talks about these things. And
- 22:04Speaker 2: it's recognizing how sensitive that we are because we can
- 22:08Speaker 2: feel things. And then when you feel things like this
- 22:10Speaker 2: and you're with someone else and you start feeling these
- 22:12Speaker 2: emotions that I'm sad and I don't want to be
- 22:14Speaker 2: here or these things, it's like stop and ask yourself,
- 22:17Speaker 2: because that's why I told him too. When you're feeling
- 22:21Speaker 2: things and you're not sure, you can ask yourself, is
- 22:24Speaker 2: this mine? If it's yours, you're going to continue feeling
- 22:27Speaker 2: the feeling. If it's not yours, it's going to go away.
- 22:31Speaker 2: If it's not yours, if you're experiencing a headache right
- 22:34Speaker 2: now and I said to you, man, I'm really feeling
- 22:36Speaker 2: this headache at the back of my skull and my
- 22:39Speaker 2: head's bothering me a lot. And are you having a
- 22:43Speaker 2: lot of these symptoms? If I brought it up to you,
- 22:46Speaker 2: a lot of times my symptoms will completely go away
- 22:48Speaker 2: too if it wasn't mine. So it's just really taking
- 22:51Speaker 2: the time to explore these things because we don't know
- 22:54Speaker 2: until we know. But I know that what's working for
- 22:56Speaker 2: me or what has been working for me, and that's
- 22:58Speaker 2: why I we like you and I like to recommend
- 23:01Speaker 2: people put something in the comments, say something about this
- 23:04Speaker 2: because there's another perspective. And now we have a new
- 23:06Speaker 2: perspective of looking at things because we don't know everything,
- 23:10Speaker 2: but we just know what we've experienced so far. And
- 23:13Speaker 2: we know there's so much more out there. And then
- 23:15Speaker 2: a lot of times it's confirmation for somebody else. When
- 23:17Speaker 2: we share all this information, they're like, oh yeah, I've
- 23:20Speaker 2: been feeling the same way. I, cause it's, then we
- 23:23Speaker 2: start realizing what, What is a normal feeling or what
- 23:27Speaker 2: is a weird feeling that we have inside of ourselves
- 23:30Speaker 2: is pretty normal. Pretty normal in comparison to other people
- 23:33Speaker 2: that are feeling the same exact ways that you're feeling.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I've been being told that I'm weird lately and I'm like,
- 23:41Speaker 2: thank you. Thank you. I'd rather be weird than to
- 23:45Speaker 2: be the old version of myself. I cut cords with
- 23:47Speaker 2: that old version of myself quite frequently. I cut cords
- 23:51Speaker 2: with people almost daily. And it could be in my
- 23:55Speaker 2: closest relationships because it's like I don't want to hold
- 23:58Speaker 2: people in the old version of themselves. And I'm not
- 24:02Speaker 2: going to hold myself in that space anymore. I'm not
- 24:04Speaker 2: going to hold myself to the story of being. When
- 24:08Speaker 2: we think about it, and if we were to uproot
- 24:11Speaker 2: ourselves right now and go into another city, another state
- 24:15Speaker 2: and move there, we could be whatever we want to
- 24:19Speaker 2: without anybody thinking anything about us. And without any expectation
- 24:24Speaker 2: to be the same that we were for those around us.
- 24:28Speaker 2: It is such a huge opportunity to be able to
- 24:30Speaker 2: explore things like that. And so maybe that's for me
- 24:34Speaker 2: is also a thing because I can come out to
- 24:36Speaker 2: my house. I'm away from town and I can pretty
- 24:39Speaker 2: much be and do whatever I want. And then when
- 24:41Speaker 2: I get around people that I guess are maybe I
- 24:44Speaker 2: don't resonate with all the old stories anymore, the old
- 24:49Speaker 2: feelings anymore. But I get to sit work from where
- 24:52Speaker 2: I'm at and I can still admire and appreciate all
- 24:56Speaker 2: of them where they're at because I was there. I
- 24:59Speaker 2: had that experience and I could love them anyways. I
- 25:03Speaker 2: don't have to have expectations of them because I have
- 25:06Speaker 2: felt people's expectations of me. I have, and it's my
- 25:11Speaker 2: natural reaction is to push against it. As soon as
- 25:14Speaker 2: someone's trying to, I can feel their energy wanting to
- 25:17Speaker 2: push me or having an expectation for me to be
- 25:19Speaker 2: a certain way. or do a certain thing that they
- 25:22Speaker 2: think that I should do, I push against it. It's
- 25:25Speaker 2: a natural thing. And it's because that's another way of
- 25:28Speaker 2: us recognizing how we're being kind of manipulated, but not
- 25:33Speaker 2: being manipulated. It's just, we're allowing ourselves to go on
- 25:35Speaker 2: this journey and be the passenger again, instead of being
- 25:39Speaker 2: the driver. Hopefully that makes sense.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah. So all in all with, with wrapping this up, um,
- 25:51Speaker 1: Begin to identify in areas of your life and with
- 25:54Speaker 1: people where you could release the bondage you have with
- 25:59Speaker 1: them because of your perspective of them, because of the
- 26:03Speaker 1: things they may have done to you or may not
- 26:06Speaker 1: have done. Meaning you wanted them, you expected something from
- 26:10Speaker 1: them and they didn't do it. So you hang on
- 26:12Speaker 1: to that story. So what are the stories you're hanging
- 26:14Speaker 1: on to, which is keeping those people, I want to
- 26:19Speaker 1: say trapped, into your being in your container because you're
- 26:25Speaker 1: the one hanging on to the stories. You're the one
- 26:28Speaker 1: keeping them tethered to you and you in bondage to them.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Like to me, bondage is a very strong word. That
- 26:40Speaker 1: means there's no escape. I can't get, I can't read,
- 26:43Speaker 1: I can't move. I can't do anything different because I
- 26:48Speaker 1: am Strap like this is where I'm at. This is
- 26:52Speaker 1: who I am. And this is, uh, how I'm defining
- 26:56Speaker 1: my life right now. And as long as you're in
- 27:00Speaker 1: that type of a container, the expectation to expectation of
- 27:06Speaker 1: having a better future is, is not even possible unless
- 27:14Speaker 1: you decide to reframe your past. your past experiences and
- 27:20Speaker 1: the people that you're in bondage to and begin to
- 27:25Speaker 1: allow your past to help you design your future. So
- 27:34Speaker 1: we've talked about it several times. You know what you
- 27:37Speaker 1: don't like, what is it you do like, and you
- 27:40Speaker 1: better start focusing on that. And in order to get
- 27:43Speaker 1: what you do like, you have to change your internal,
- 27:46Speaker 1: your mental, emotional, Physical, spiritual, those changes is your responsibility.
- 27:54Speaker 1: And it all comes from within. And this is the
- 27:59Speaker 1: only thing you have control over is you. And so
- 28:03Speaker 1: take your future and put it in your control. And
- 28:07Speaker 1: it has to start in your present moment. So with that...
- 28:17Speaker 1: Good luck. Enjoy the journey.
- 28:22Speaker 2: That's right.
- 28:26Speaker 1: And that's all it is. It's a journey. It's a
- 28:29Speaker 1: journey of rediscovering, reconnecting, doing things differently, discovering more about yourself,
- 28:35Speaker 1: having self-awareness. There's a whole package to deciding to pivot
- 28:40Speaker 1: into a new direction for yourself. And the journey is
- 28:46Speaker 1: going to be bumpy. It's going to feel like you're
- 28:49Speaker 1: getting beat up and it's going to feel freeing and
- 28:55Speaker 1: lighter and things get brighter and more enjoyable. So it's okay.
- 29:04Speaker 1: It was, to me, it was worth the bumpy ride
- 29:08Speaker 1: because really, if I would have continued to hang on
- 29:10Speaker 1: to what my history or the way I was perceiving
- 29:13Speaker 1: my history and I would still be on that bumpy
- 29:16Speaker 1: ride and it would be very uncomfortable in so many ways.
- 29:23Speaker 1: So to me, it's well worth the bumps and stumbles
- 29:29Speaker 1: and struggles in the beginning until you start feeling freer
- 29:33Speaker 1: and freer from what you've been hanging on to. Also
- 29:37Speaker 1: know that there are many possibilities. on the planet who
