- 0:13Speaker 1: I'm well, good morning.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I'm just curious that your thoughts on real estate in
- 0:18Speaker 3: New York City. Of course, in real estate and real
- 0:20Speaker 3: estate price is going forward.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Well, the real estate is booming in New York City.
- 0:25Speaker 2: You cannot get an apartment, and you can't rent an apartment.
- 0:28Speaker 2: The market is just totally millions of people moving in
- 0:33Speaker 2: rental is indication people moving into New York.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Uh So, nobody's fighting by this gun.
- 0:39Speaker 2: There might be a couple who are gonna leave, but
- 0:41Speaker 2: more people are coming in and leaving. In fact, high
- 0:44Speaker 2: end apartments, there's very little inventory. Price going crazy, more
- 0:49Speaker 2: contracts signed in the last month than usual, and I
- 0:52Speaker 2: mean actual sales where it went to closing in a contract.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Skyscrapers are going up all over New York, Brent, the
- 0:59Speaker 2: whole sky is going to change in the next five years, massive,
- 1:03Speaker 2: really tall skyscrapers. One going in at the fifty third
- 1:06Speaker 2: in Madison, one going at the fifty eighth and Madison
- 1:10Speaker 2: one going at Park Avenue in fifty second, all over
- 1:13Speaker 2: New York, these huge skyscrapers are being built, and these
- 1:17Speaker 2: are all the top builders in New York. And every
- 1:19Speaker 2: one of these skyscrapers, you know, costs a billion two
- 1:21Speaker 2: billion three. You've seen this JP Morgan, unbelievable building that
- 1:25Speaker 2: opened up on Park Avenue, two billion dollar skyscraper. Well,
- 1:28Speaker 2: now they're going to do a second one. They want
- 1:30Speaker 2: to do a second one. Rumor is they're going to
- 1:33Speaker 2: take the Roosevelt Hotel and put it there. So all
- 1:36Speaker 2: these big top real estate guys wouldn't be spending this
- 1:39Speaker 2: money if they weren't confident in New York. Let's go
- 1:42Speaker 2: to Rob in Franklin Square. Rob, how you doing pretty good?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Mark?
- 1:45Speaker 1: How are you? I go?
- 1:47Speaker 4: I like a peppy guy. That's very good. Are you
- 1:49Speaker 4: a salesman? You sound like a salesman.
- 1:51Speaker 3: No, I'm retied.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Transit cop. I miss Michael Goodwin on with you. Is
- 1:57Speaker 1: he still with the station?
- 1:58Speaker 3: I know you said he had some help problems before.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just a little under the weather. He'll be
- 2:02Speaker 2: he'll be back with us soon. We hope he's able
- 2:03Speaker 2: to write his column. But God bless him. Yeah, yeah, great.
- 2:07Speaker 2: The greatest columnist. Yeah, hopefully he'll be back with us soon.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Thanks for Colin. Let's go to Jim in New Jersey. Jim,
- 2:12Speaker 2: how you doing good? Wait a minute, Jim, are you there?
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah? Go ahead, Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 3: This is kind of sad. Mark. Nobody mentioned this. January
- 2:21Speaker 3: third was the end of a year. Ninety seven year
- 2:25Speaker 3: old Sidney Kybric died. Wop Sydney Kybrick.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Who's that?
- 2:31Speaker 3: He was the last, the last little rascal. He just
- 2:35Speaker 3: died January third, not our gang that came later. The
- 2:38Speaker 3: last little Rascal died, Sidney Kybrick. He gave up acting
- 2:42Speaker 3: in nineteen forty three, eighty two years ago.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And which little rascal was Sidney Kybrick?
- 2:50Speaker 3: He was that His brother was in it too. You
- 2:52Speaker 3: recognize his brother Moore, but he was not a big one,
- 2:55Speaker 3: but he was. They short a picture of him. It
- 2:56Speaker 3: was definitely him. So there you go, Mark, the Lazolo
- 3:00Speaker 3: rascal is gone. I break ninety seven.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Mark.
- 3:03Speaker 2: You gotta be honest, it's not the most exciting thing.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I mean, not the most exciting thing in the world.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But you know, out there in California, you got this
- 3:11Speaker 2: actor's home like it's an old age home.
- 3:13Speaker 4: For actors. If you go in there, you do recognize people.
- 3:17Speaker 4: They're all ninety two, ninety eight, but you recognize them.
- 3:21Speaker 4: You know it's a the character actors. This guy was
- 3:23Speaker 4: in twelve different sitcoms. This guy was in Love American Style.
- 3:27Speaker 4: You recognize this guy used to be on game shows.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Morning, mack Mark. I'm okay, Mark speaking about the danger
- 3:37Speaker 1: of changing these psychotrophicrudge drugs. Mid course, I have a
- 3:42Speaker 1: friend whose girlfriend's son was taking these and I say,
- 3:46Speaker 1: was taking these cyclotropic drugs, and like Rob Ryner's kid,
- 3:51Speaker 1: doctor changed his drugs. And there's a true story about
- 3:54Speaker 1: fifteen years ago, right out in Little O'd Death. So
- 3:58Speaker 1: he jumps in front of the d train out in
- 4:02Speaker 1: Brighton Beach and because he was feeling all weeded out
- 4:06Speaker 1: by these drugs. Mark, I personally believe that no protesting
- 4:12Speaker 1: should be done either directly in front of the entrance
- 4:17Speaker 1: to the houses of worship or on the opposite side
- 4:20Speaker 1: of the street, because people could still hear the nasty insults.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Most of these protests are Arab groups or wacky liberal
- 4:30Speaker 1: groups protesting against the Jewish people. You've never seen Jewish
- 4:36Speaker 1: people going in front of mosques and protesting. Probably one
- 4:41Speaker 1: of the reasons. One of the reasons are they're not
- 4:46Speaker 1: that type of people. They're very inture and they're educated people.
- 4:49Speaker 2: They keeps, but they're not nuts.
- 4:53Speaker 1: But time that happens, that's what they should do. They
- 4:57Speaker 1: should go in front of the biggest mosque, which I
- 5:00Speaker 1: believe is up in Harlem and protests.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Right, yeah, they you don't want them to that crazy too. Now,
- 5:05Speaker 2: this protesting is the most awful anti Semitism. You know
- 5:10Speaker 2: a lot of these people claim, well, we're not anti
- 5:11Speaker 2: cemit we're just anti Israel. Well that's anti Semitic, it's
- 5:14Speaker 2: exactly yeah, And.
- 5:15Speaker 4: They say exactly the same thing.
- 5:17Speaker 1: They say the terrible things about uh, the Jewish people,
- 5:20Speaker 1: that Hitler should have done this, and this one should
- 5:23Speaker 1: have done that. Let's let's see him for how to
- 5:27Speaker 1: if the shoe was on the other foot, how they
- 5:29Speaker 1: could take it, how they would take it. You don't
- 5:32Speaker 1: see that. You don't see what kids with yamaka is
- 5:35Speaker 1: in the front of the mosque. You might see them
- 5:38Speaker 1: in Times Square as a counter protest. You never hear
- 5:41Speaker 1: on the radio, Oh we're looking for a robber. The
- 5:44Speaker 1: kid had him to pay us, was wearing a Yamaica
- 5:48Speaker 1: and he was running.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You don't see not a lot of street crime in
- 5:51Speaker 2: that group. You're absolutely vincent. Good call, Thanks for calling.
- 5:54Speaker 2: You got to give the Palestinians credit for one thing.
- 5:56Speaker 2: They have somehow convinced the world that they're the minority,
- 6:00Speaker 2: which is a little ridiculous. I mean, they're part of
- 6:02Speaker 2: the Arab world, which is certainly not a minority. It's
- 6:05Speaker 2: the Jewish population that is the oppressed minority here and
- 6:09Speaker 2: historically has been for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Hey,
- 6:14Speaker 2: when we come back, Charlie Gasprino will be with us.
- 6:17Speaker 2: We'll talk to him in a moment. Oh, by the way,
- 6:18Speaker 2: I meant to mention Minnesota. There is one thing interesting.
- 6:22Speaker 2: There's a GoFundMe for the woman that was killed, Renee Good,
- 6:26Speaker 2: and it raised three million dollars. They shut it down
- 6:30Speaker 2: because they said that's all they wanted to raise for
- 6:32Speaker 2: her kids. They raised three million. It was about sixty
- 6:35Speaker 2: five thousand donors they raised it. They've shut it down.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And there's one for the cop. His name is Jonathan Ross.
- 6:42Speaker 2: The Ice Agents. A gofund me for him. If you
- 6:45Speaker 2: want to contribute. Bill Ackman just gave ten thousand dollars
- 6:48Speaker 2: to it. So far they've raised I think three hundred
- 6:50Speaker 2: and fifty thousand, But just Google go fund me Jonathan
- 6:54Speaker 2: Ross and you can donate to that cop and help
- 6:58Speaker 2: him out. When we come back, Charley Gasprino, the best
- 7:01Speaker 2: business reporter in the world, Coming up next on seven
- 7:04Speaker 2: ten WR
