- 1:26Speaker 5: guys and with with Anis, I'm like, I'm gonna be
- 1:27Speaker 5: the butt of the joke.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Is more. We don't really do that. When when he
- 1:31Speaker 2: asked me, I was like, do you guys do what
- 1:33Speaker 2: as does? When I went on this podcast was disaster last.
- 1:38Speaker 5: It was like they like just sit here and don't
- 1:40Speaker 5: say anything. I just sat there in front of the camera.
- 1:44Speaker 5: I was like, like right in front of the camera was.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Like a like it was.
- 1:50Speaker 5: It was like remember when I think it was like
- 1:52Speaker 5: maybe it was during the Queen or maybe when the
- 1:54Speaker 5: Pope died and the bird.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Just sat in the camera.
- 1:57Speaker 7: It was it was just me sit in front of
- 1:59Speaker 7: the camera. Well they just talked by Yeah, that's not
- 2:02Speaker 7: you being a guest on their show. That's you being
- 2:04Speaker 7: like a subject of their like prodding and like surgers like.
- 2:09Speaker 8: We're like abusive teenagers are just gonna pull you around.
- 2:12Speaker 2: That is hilarious. Just have you on and just not speak.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 6: I was just like I just sat there in front
- 2:18Speaker 6: of the camera just.
- 2:19Speaker 8: Stared at that's fucking roasted me. And Nick was like,
- 2:23Speaker 8: I'm sorry, I didn't know he was gonna do.
- 2:25Speaker 2: That's a that's that's that's exactly.
- 2:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 2: The one they did with Compton was so funny where
- 2:33Speaker 2: they did like they did their their news thing and
- 2:35Speaker 2: then all the news jokes just end up being like
- 2:37Speaker 2: ricochet shots. Yeah yeah, yeah, same exact thing.
- 2:41Speaker 9: Everybody says, they're so nice, that's hilarious.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Was that the whole episode? Like fifteen minutes. That's hilarious.
- 2:58Speaker 2: So I was like, what was to do?
- 3:00Speaker 4: What?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Just sit there? Do you remember the one he made
- 3:04Speaker 2: me read?
- 3:04Speaker 8: Nick made me read one of his headlines and it
- 3:07Speaker 8: read like a p f T tweet, like one of
- 3:10Speaker 8: those NFL tweets that's like every word is a pun.
- 3:13Speaker 8: But it was like, called you gay and made me
- 3:15Speaker 8: fun of me for being divorced, like all of one head.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, that's not us, that's prepare absolutely nothing.
- 3:24Speaker 6: That's how we were all empty brains and just let
- 3:28Speaker 6: it a little bit.
- 3:29Speaker 8: We had a trip down memory lay in our last
- 3:31Speaker 8: podcast talking about when Saturdays and for the Boys blew
- 3:33Speaker 8: up and we were talking there was a period of
- 3:35Speaker 8: time where we were talking about changing the name for
- 3:38Speaker 8: the Boys and uh, we ended up not doing it,
- 3:41Speaker 8: and what we were talking about if we did, would
- 3:43Speaker 8: we have changed the show and would it have been different,
- 3:46Speaker 8: and like would it have exploded? And we were like nah,
- 3:49Speaker 8: because we would have We would do what we always do.
- 3:52Speaker 8: We would do something different for two episodes, and then
- 3:54Speaker 8: we would go right back to.
- 3:56Speaker 2: We tried.
- 3:57Speaker 8: We try to segments, we try to come up with names,
- 4:00Speaker 8: we try to do blah blah blah.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And then we just always end up just I.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Think there is a point where people can tell when
- 4:04Speaker 1: you're trying too hard. Though you're trying to do too
- 4:07Speaker 1: much ship, it's just like not trying too hard for
- 4:10Speaker 1: a lot of conversations. I think that's what some people
- 4:12Speaker 1: like about Son of a Boy Dad is like you
- 4:14Speaker 1: don't have to think when you're listening. It's so dumb
- 4:17Speaker 1: you can just turn your brain on it is.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Also, people use the word interview. I'm like, he's just
- 4:20Speaker 2: a conversations. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm the same way with that.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I feel like there's like a weird amount of pressure
- 4:25Speaker 2: at barstool to have like like your podcast has had
- 4:28Speaker 2: like a format and like a subject that you cover,
- 4:30Speaker 2: and it's like when we were coming up with this,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I was like, I have no I was like, we're
- 4:33Speaker 2: just gonna talk. There's not gonna be anything.
- 4:35Speaker 8: Well, that actually is. I think it's a good thing
- 4:38Speaker 8: in the business side of things. It's kind of sometimes
- 4:41Speaker 8: it's a negative because it's sales sales.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It's like, you know, cover hockey, when.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You cover gold, when you cover or you need a
- 4:48Speaker 1: segment to sell, like you put it, I'll tell.
- 4:51Speaker 5: You that until they blue in the face and then
- 4:52Speaker 5: you I started segments, so we just stopped doing that too.
- 5:00Speaker 8: I love when it's they're like, you know, what is
- 5:01Speaker 8: your podcast about? I'm like, we're the only place in
- 5:04Speaker 8: the world that podcasts are about something.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 5:06Speaker 8: Everywhere else is just like comedians and entertainers and funny
- 5:10Speaker 8: people just pressing record, it's got to be about something.
- 5:12Speaker 1: What's your guys description of what yours is about? Like,
- 5:15Speaker 1: what do you say when it goes out to press
- 5:16Speaker 1: and shit like that.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I think we usually just say, like the voicemails, we
- 5:21Speaker 2: just say.
- 5:21Speaker 5: I think we probably. I think we probably steal what
- 5:24Speaker 5: barstool used to be, and it is, to an extent
- 5:26Speaker 5: still where it was, Like I think Dave still always
- 5:29Speaker 5: said it's still my favorite like description of barstool as
- 5:31Speaker 5: a whole, where it was it's just what you and
- 5:33Speaker 5: your buddys talk about on a barstool. Sometimes it's sports,
- 5:35Speaker 5: sometimes it's sick. Sometimes it's so uh fucking celebrities. Sometimes
- 5:39Speaker 5: it's carent events, Like it's just I don't know, Like
- 5:41Speaker 5: I don't know that we say to people little.
- 5:43Speaker 8: Bit a TV like an entertainment and shit, but like
- 5:45Speaker 8: I don't know, Yeah, I don't even I don't even
- 5:47Speaker 8: know the answer to that question. What our description is
- 5:51Speaker 8: on Spotify. I don't know what our pitches from from sales.
- 5:54Speaker 8: I dit I couldn't even tell you. It's crazy, but
- 5:56Speaker 8: it's true.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I don't know if that's good or bad. No, I
- 5:58Speaker 2: mean it makes sense. I'm with you, like any podcast
- 6:01Speaker 2: that I listened to that's not barstool, there's no rhyme
- 6:04Speaker 2: or topics. Yeah, it's just people talking, right, what would
- 6:08Speaker 2: like Joe Rogan said, right, it's like he doesn't have
- 6:10Speaker 2: a thing.
- 6:12Speaker 8: Yeah, but I mean I also understand that it doesn't
- 6:15Speaker 8: make it easier I guess to like do business.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But it's also like, uh, it is.
- 6:20Speaker 5: It is so depressing though, Like like when you when
- 6:23Speaker 5: you when you know your podcast about nothing, and you
- 6:26Speaker 5: know it's just like on in the background and you
- 6:28Speaker 5: walk out and you're like, man, I fucking was funny
- 6:30Speaker 5: in there, and it's like you know that someone's gonna
- 6:32Speaker 5: be half listening.
- 6:33Speaker 2: While they fill out Oh yeah yeah, like a third
- 6:36Speaker 2: like that.
- 6:37Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, falling asleep question, Yeah, one person that was funny.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Like you say, one person, Yeah, that makes it hilarious
- 6:47Speaker 1: if one person went out of their way to tell
- 6:49Speaker 1: you you said something truly transcended, you say.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Something funny on like the hour like three twenty five
- 6:55Speaker 2: mark of a podcast. Yeah, yeah, that's down the drain.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I don't think I've I rarely listened to a full
- 7:01Speaker 2: episode of a podcast, and that's I'm like driving somewhere
- 7:04Speaker 2: that's like a long drive.
- 7:05Speaker 5: I I don't think I've ever listened to the podcast.
- 7:08Speaker 5: I don't listen to podcasts.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I don't know what I happen. I've been listening to
- 7:11Speaker 2: The Always Sunny One a lot.
- 7:14Speaker 5: That's actually yeah, I have listened to probably three full
- 7:17Speaker 5: episodes that.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You watched the Danny DeVito Want It came out like I.
- 7:19Speaker 6: Saw the one today.
- 7:22Speaker 2: The montage of him eating is so funny and I
- 7:24Speaker 2: was cracking me up. Yeah, he eats on camera constant,
- 7:27Speaker 2: which I also complains about eating on a podcast.
- 7:30Speaker 8: So I'm like, I don't know, man, fuck you guys,
- 7:32Speaker 8: we record during lunchtime, Danny DeVito's eating on cameras all
- 7:35Speaker 8: my I.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Saw the clip of him talking about before he went
- 7:39Speaker 5: became an actor, he went to beauty school.
- 7:41Speaker 8: Yeah, and he was a beautician and like he was
- 7:45Speaker 8: a hair dresser. He was a hairdresser and like his
- 7:48Speaker 8: even like physically doing.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Is like I gotta get out of this moment.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Was one of his clients died and his family was like,
- 7:57Speaker 5: can you do her hair in the coffin?
- 7:59Speaker 2: And he's like, yeah, he was like the last person
- 8:02Speaker 2: to see her before like the funeral.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Yeah, But so.
- 8:05Speaker 2: He did it.
- 8:06Speaker 6: Yeah, cut her dead hair. Oh my god.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And apparently like the person that like preps the body
- 8:12Speaker 2: usually does that. But the family strictly requested him because
- 8:15Speaker 2: he was there. They were like, we want him to
- 8:17Speaker 2: do the hair.
- 8:17Speaker 6: How long is he doing it it? Yeah, he must
- 8:20Speaker 6: have been great at it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It was something with like his sister like owned a
- 8:23Speaker 2: barber shops working for her.
- 8:25Speaker 8: Yo, if I die, I hope Fleschman cuts my hair
- 8:27Speaker 8: when I'm dead.
- 8:34Speaker 5: I want to go opposite with it, Like I think
- 8:36Speaker 5: I wouldn't want.
- 8:36Speaker 2: To look nice. Well, don't worry, you won't.
- 8:40Speaker 8: Like you know how if he likes your eyes to
- 8:42Speaker 8: think about fidal Bird's dead is a live body is
- 8:46Speaker 8: dissw what's his dead body gonna?
- 8:48Speaker 2: But like what what?
- 8:49Speaker 5: Like like we were talking about this with ugly sweaters,
- 8:51Speaker 5: like I hate ugly sweaters and they're so like old news.
- 8:54Speaker 6: But id let's next questions. Let's just make nice sweaters.
- 8:57Speaker 5: And I think I like would zig when everyone's eggs
- 9:00Speaker 5: I think like just put me in the fucking coffin,
- 9:02Speaker 5: like naked, like like put me in the coffin like
- 9:05Speaker 5: like with a.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Casket with your little dude with your brown little.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Cockin you had a brown cot insurance?
- 9:15Speaker 8: Dude, you haven't seenes of insurance. It is very funny.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Believe this guy's making fun of his dad who's passed
- 9:20Speaker 8: out drunk, and he's like he's just sitting there with
- 9:22Speaker 8: his tiny little brown cock.
- 9:26Speaker 5: But the like like I don't know, like what I
- 9:30Speaker 5: think I would like to have. I'd be in a coffin.
- 9:32Speaker 5: It would be an open casket, but it would be
- 9:34Speaker 5: a closed casket, like you have to open it everything.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like just have a sign that says open
- 9:41Speaker 2: for a surprise, naked, Like I want everyone to be closed,
- 9:45Speaker 2: just like a Jack in the box, dead jack in
- 9:47Speaker 2: the box.
- 9:47Speaker 1: If they can tax a dermy like a full animal,
- 9:50Speaker 1: they must be able to tax the germy you hard.
- 9:52Speaker 6: They must be able to get you at your best.
- 9:54Speaker 8: With the Puerto Rican gangsters when they like prop them
- 9:57Speaker 8: up at a card table. Yeah yeah, yeah, like be
- 10:01Speaker 8: naked in your bed with like a pint of ice
- 10:03Speaker 8: cream and will give you a little hard.
- 10:07Speaker 6: Not full hard, not not pervert.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we just learned yesterday.
- 10:10Speaker 6: I was just gonna bring this up.
- 10:12Speaker 8: A bell of danger came back through the greatest uh,
- 10:15Speaker 8: like porn star content creator in the world. Did you
- 10:19Speaker 8: know that male porn stars have straight up mechanical dicks
- 10:24Speaker 8: like implants?
- 10:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah that I heard that in a podcast.
- 10:29Speaker 8: She said that this one guy specifically, and that there's
- 10:32Speaker 8: multiple guys who do it.
- 10:33Speaker 2: And I don't want to speak for both of you.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I forgot. I don't know his name, but if you
- 10:37Speaker 2: saw me, be like, I know that.
- 10:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I think you see the familiar guys.
- 10:40Speaker 2: He's a prolific performer. It really is like there's like
- 10:43Speaker 2: three dudes in porn. Yeah, right, that's why, honey. When
- 10:47Speaker 2: when when when?
- 10:48Speaker 8: When you ask a good porn a girl and porn,
- 10:51Speaker 8: how many dudes have you fucked?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Not how many times? How many dudes, it's like it's
- 10:55Speaker 2: like ten.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:55Speaker 2: And you ask a guy how many girls have you fucked?
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's like a billion? Yeah, guy, there's only like guys would.
- 11:00Speaker 8: Do it because they do crazy shit for their fucking performance.
- 11:03Speaker 8: They use injections to get their dick to stay hard, right,
- 11:07Speaker 8: And this guy used the.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Injections so much he like killed his dick.
- 11:11Speaker 8: So then they gave him this implant where you have
- 11:15Speaker 8: like a rod and and kind of like a it's
- 11:18Speaker 8: like hollow, I think, and that can fill up with
- 11:21Speaker 8: saline that comes from a pump, right that you put.
- 11:24Speaker 2: In your balls, So you squeeze your balls.
- 11:27Speaker 8: It's a pump on the inside of your sack. I
- 11:29Speaker 8: don't know if they like remove your balls or they
- 11:31Speaker 8: just put it in there with your balls.
- 11:32Speaker 10: You squeeze it like like, and it fills up the
- 11:39Speaker 10: the implant in your dick, and it grows you hard.
- 11:42Speaker 8: You get this. So this dude, he had a good dick.
- 11:45Speaker 8: His his god given dick was a great dick, the.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Kind of thing that gets the end of the point.
- 11:50Speaker 8: He injected it so many times he killed his god
- 11:53Speaker 8: given dick.
- 11:54Speaker 2: So he said, I'm getting an implant.
- 11:55Speaker 8: The implant was a smaller dick than his god given dick.
- 11:59Speaker 8: So he got a third dick, a second surgery to
- 12:02Speaker 8: make his implant bigger. What he's had three like dick
- 12:06Speaker 8: performance enhancing dicks, two of which were surgically mechanically fixed.
- 12:09Speaker 5: And a Bella was showing us pictures and like, like,
- 12:13Speaker 5: I was like, are only like you're gonna notice this
- 12:14Speaker 5: because like you're a dick expert. She's like, no, Like
- 12:17Speaker 5: to the to the layman's eye, you'd be like, oh,
- 12:19Speaker 5: that's a completely different dick.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It was like it was jarring but his So you
- 12:24Speaker 2: can really tell the difference. She was like, you can
- 12:26Speaker 2: really feel.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It because it's a soft dick that's been inflated. It's
- 12:28Speaker 1: not like a hard dick. Like a hard dick is
- 12:31Speaker 1: hard from the the blood flow and the arousal and
- 12:33Speaker 1: like everything.
- 12:34Speaker 8: When you get your dick hard, you're getting it hard
- 12:37Speaker 8: from your asshole. Yeah, it's not just from bass hard
- 12:47Speaker 8: from my asshole.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Can't you can't fake that? Fine? At least the dude
- 12:53Speaker 2: when he gets those surgeries, he doesn't have to. I
- 12:54Speaker 2: always remember, like hearing stories about like when like grown
- 12:57Speaker 2: men get like circumcised, and like the biggest worry it's
- 13:00Speaker 2: like if you get hard to like rip the stitches. Well,
- 13:02Speaker 2: She's like, he doesn't have to worry about that. Probably
- 13:04Speaker 2: if he can't get hard, that's a good point, said.
- 13:07Speaker 2: He was out of the.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Game for like you have to be I can't use him, Like, yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 8: it's like months, months and months.
- 13:12Speaker 5: I had a buddy who was uncircumcised in high school
- 13:16Speaker 5: and and boy did we bully him, Like.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, mercy. It's also going everyone in the school
- 13:21Speaker 2: knows somehow and everything.
- 13:24Speaker 6: You know.
- 13:24Speaker 8: You could be fat, you could be stupid, you could
- 13:26Speaker 8: be ugly whatever.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Not being circumcised, there's no number one.
- 13:30Speaker 6: There's no excuse.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Really, you're like, I don't know, nineteen fifty or something,
- 13:36Speaker 2: no excuse it is.
- 13:38Speaker 5: It is the most like blatant you can make fun
- 13:40Speaker 5: of somebody. You can't make sun of someone being fat. No, yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 5: you can't that he's got extra skin on his deck.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And everyone's like the hood up and you're like a
- 13:53Speaker 2: sex feels better for him. Yeah, look at this loser,
- 13:59Speaker 2: he's having way more fun with sex. Bro, my boy,
- 14:03Speaker 2: believe that shit though.
- 14:05Speaker 6: I like that.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I say, you like cut off like all the nerves
- 14:08Speaker 2: because they fucking have ugly dicks.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 8: It's like when people tell you that if you get
- 14:12Speaker 8: shipped on by a bird, it's good luck.
- 14:13Speaker 2: You got to say that because you're covered in by
- 14:16Speaker 2: you tell me that you you have you have better sex.
- 14:18Speaker 8: Okay, the other ninety nine percent of your life you're
- 14:20Speaker 8: getting made fun of for your ugly day.
- 14:22Speaker 6: And also sex feels good enough.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah, sex feels good to get better. I mean crazy.
- 14:28Speaker 6: That's how uncircumcised guys are. They're probably starting World Wars,
- 14:32Speaker 6: but they're fucking.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I do remember Jessa Rhoades saying, uh and this made sense.
- 14:36Speaker 8: She was like, uncircumcises better for anal and say that.

- 15:28Speaker 6: Girls, they're just faling their own.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Youre just your own dick. If you're on circumstance, that
- 15:34Speaker 2: is crazy, right.
- 15:35Speaker 5: But my buddy, my buddy in high school, he like
- 15:37Speaker 5: because because we body shamed him.
- 15:40Speaker 2: So much and we're still friends.
- 15:41Speaker 6: He's on the sports team. You saw his dick or
- 15:43Speaker 6: just heard word no, no.
- 15:44Speaker 2: No no, we played football again. And when they're when
- 15:46Speaker 2: they're like totally soft, they're really weird, horrible.
- 15:49Speaker 8: Yeah, when they closed off, it's like, oh, yeah it is.
- 15:52Speaker 8: It looks like a belly button on the front. Do
- 15:54Speaker 8: you local steps the fucking uh? But he will but
- 16:00Speaker 8: uh he he first of all, he's.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Two repulsive things, well not repulsive, one repulsive one regular.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Uh.
- 16:06Speaker 5: He would say that, he's like, you guys are so stupid,
- 16:08Speaker 5: like you have to have clean up when you fucking
- 16:10Speaker 5: jerk off. And we were like, well, yeah, this is
- 16:12Speaker 5: really disgusting. Race yourself, raise yourself.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Were like, what does that mean? What do you do?
- 16:16Speaker 2: This is disgusting. You might not even I don't even
- 16:18Speaker 2: know if son of it.
- 16:19Speaker 8: What I feel like I get, I feel like I've
- 16:20Speaker 8: already guy, or to get where it's going.
- 16:22Speaker 5: He would he before he when he came, he just
- 16:24Speaker 5: fucking heath it up.
- 16:27Speaker 6: He pinch it off, and then he we made we we.
- 16:32Speaker 2: How this works.
- 16:34Speaker 5: And then he would walk over to because we were
- 16:35Speaker 5: in high school, we went to a boarding school, so
- 16:37Speaker 5: and he would walk over in his dorm to his
- 16:39Speaker 5: trash barrel and just dump it out. That is discuss
- 16:43Speaker 5: that is sold like like in fucking uh like a
- 16:46Speaker 5: movie when you even see like a plane dump water
- 16:48Speaker 5: on the fire.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, like.
- 16:51Speaker 6: So he's out of gogurt or like yeah, like you
- 16:54Speaker 6: could just open up a thing squeeze like God, have
- 16:57Speaker 6: to like kind of fish.
- 16:59Speaker 2: That's something that you have to know from the first
- 17:02Speaker 2: time you do it, Like this is not normal. That's
- 17:05Speaker 2: like shitting and like tightening your ass cheeks and just
- 17:08Speaker 2: having the ship in your ass and spreading your ass cheeks.
- 17:14Speaker 8: Asked this guy how he jerked off the first time.
- 17:15Speaker 8: He joked off, Oh God, because that's the fucking.
- 17:18Speaker 2: This is like I just did.
- 17:19Speaker 5: And look to your credit. I was like, this is
- 17:21Speaker 5: can't be ready, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, but I
- 17:24Speaker 5: fucking did it. I had my legs back and I
- 17:26Speaker 5: was jerking and I was on my back.
- 17:29Speaker 2: He gives a reach around.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I was on my bathroom floor and I was like,
- 17:31Speaker 5: there's no way this is right. I gotta I gotta
- 17:34Speaker 5: do a little back drawing. Yeah, come back, come back
- 17:36Speaker 5: to sitches.
- 17:38Speaker 6: You know that's not it. I remember I was I
- 17:41Speaker 6: was also like, fucking I first jarked off.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 17:44Speaker 6: I was like shooting blanks. Yeah, because I was just
- 17:46Speaker 6: like twelve, I don't.
- 17:47Speaker 5: I hit puberty late and I felt younger than twelve,
- 17:50Speaker 5: and I was just like I had friends talking about
- 17:52Speaker 5: like coming and I was like, I must be doing it.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Wrong, and I think everyone. I think also your friends
- 17:59Speaker 2: will probably lying about yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 5: But but I hit puberty late, so they definitely were
- 18:04Speaker 5: calming before me. But I was like, maybe, like if
- 18:06Speaker 5: I fucking have to piss, like so.
- 18:09Speaker 6: I would like wait till I had to pee, and
- 18:11Speaker 6: that would run the jerk off.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And try to harness both streams simultaneously.
- 18:15Speaker 5: I was like, that's must be ware the coming store,
- 18:17Speaker 5: some Ghostbuster ships coming out at the same time.
- 18:21Speaker 1: You got a problem a little filler.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Damn, I just got pissy.
- 18:29Speaker 5: But all this is to say that my buddy was
- 18:31Speaker 5: he was gonna get the surgery because we costed him
- 18:34Speaker 5: so much circumcision. Yeah, and then he learned like he
- 18:39Speaker 5: was gonna to go on like estrogen pills so he
- 18:41Speaker 5: couldn't get hard. If you're just paying a random bonery, right,
- 18:44Speaker 5: not every boner is a welcome thing.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Maybe they should just give you the surgery while you're hard,
- 18:49Speaker 2: so that the stitches will not That makes sense.
- 18:53Speaker 8: Actually, that's also that's the same thing I think about
- 18:55Speaker 8: when you get your dick tattooed.
- 18:58Speaker 2: You get it, you get it when you're hard.
- 19:00Speaker 6: People get their dicks tattooed.
- 19:01Speaker 8: Yeah, oh Jesus, because I think they do it so
- 19:04Speaker 8: that like it's a thing.
- 19:06Speaker 2: When it grows fans, it's like it's illusion. Yeah, it's like,
- 19:09Speaker 2: don't it's like a little pup page magazines. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 2: that's gonna be just an instant regret. Oh yeah, oh
- 19:15Speaker 2: big time. The first time you get hard after this
- 19:18Speaker 2: is not nearly as cool as I thought it was
- 19:20Speaker 2: gonna be.
- 19:20Speaker 8: I can't even imagine going through the minute that your
- 19:23Speaker 8: dick's on the table and it's like I'd be like,
- 19:26Speaker 8: never mind, I end up with just like a little dot.
- 19:28Speaker 5: I'm actually so I'm of the weird.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Uh. I don't think it's weird.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I think it's pretty common.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Actually, Uh, Like I like getting tattoos, not not the.
- 19:37Speaker 2: A lot of people do. A lot of people enjoy
- 19:38Speaker 2: the process of it, like Nick always talks about it.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Not even the feeling, not like the creative process just
- 19:43Speaker 5: like the Yeah, it is like it is like the
- 19:47Speaker 5: best actually, man, this is this is Rudy. Rudy described
- 19:51Speaker 5: it this way, and I was like perfect where it's
- 19:53Speaker 5: like the best scratch you'll ever get in your life.
- 19:56Speaker 5: It's like it's like subcutaneous, like you're getting scratched at
- 19:59Speaker 5: a level, you know. And I've seen like I've got
- 20:02Speaker 5: a tattooed Nate before Nate looks like he's gonna pass out.
- 20:04Speaker 2: They like, yeah, that would be me.
- 20:06Speaker 8: Honestly, it is I but I like, I like you,
- 20:08Speaker 8: I know, I have no you like.
- 20:10Speaker 1: To get beat up in the bedroom or like hot
- 20:12Speaker 1: wax port on you or like I've.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Never done it.
- 20:14Speaker 5: I don't think I don't like being slapped. I know
- 20:16Speaker 5: that I got slap ones. I was like, don't ever get.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I'm like, I am gonna do that to you a lot,
- 20:25Speaker 2: but if you do it to me one.
- 20:26Speaker 5: More time, it was like it was like saw red.
- 20:31Speaker 5: I was like, what the fuck was the square square put?
- 20:40Speaker 5: But I've never done like a.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Wax or anything like that, so I can't I can't
- 20:42Speaker 2: really answer that.
- 20:43Speaker 5: I just I just like like I like I learned
- 20:46Speaker 5: that at a young age where like I was like
- 20:48Speaker 5: a child still, and they're like, turn away when you
- 20:50Speaker 5: get like shots, and I was like no, no, no, I
- 20:52Speaker 5: like it.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Watch and I like to watch the needle go in.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Oh really yeah, I don't mind any of that stuff,
- 20:58Speaker 2: but I can't watch. I gotta to get a buy
- 21:00Speaker 2: on like Monday, and they like, I could not watch
- 21:04Speaker 2: for the life of me.
- 21:05Speaker 8: That's also they gotta like jump and I had my
- 21:07Speaker 8: eyes closed and she was like, are you okay, And
- 21:09Speaker 8: I'm like, yeah, I don't want to see you digging
- 21:10Speaker 8: into my skin.
- 21:12Speaker 2: One of those weird It was one stitch though, Dude.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I was being such a bit about it and I
- 21:18Speaker 2: was like, dude, no because I didn't even see the stitches.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Like she put the band aid on and I got
- 21:22Speaker 2: up and I left, and the whole day I was like, dude,
- 21:23Speaker 2: there's a fucking hole in my chest. And then I
- 21:26Speaker 2: went like, dude, I got a shower.
- 21:29Speaker 8: It's like this.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I got in the shower the next morning. It's literally
- 21:32Speaker 2: the size of a freckle, like smaller, it's like the
- 21:35Speaker 2: size of like this freckle on my hand. And I'm
- 21:39Speaker 2: walking around being like, dude, there's a fucking gaping hole in.
- 21:42Speaker 6: The second Yeah, I got an eggit.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like, I like bought ship to like
- 21:48Speaker 2: clean the stitches, and I got home and I was like, dude,
- 21:52Speaker 2: like I could pour like dirt on this and it
- 21:54Speaker 2: wouldn't get affected. I could put ship on this stitch
- 21:57Speaker 2: and nothing would happened.
- 22:00Speaker 5: I gave blood recently, like like like blood work, and uh,
- 22:04Speaker 5: the nurse. First of all, I think I think I
- 22:07Speaker 5: think nursing. I think I think they had a good
- 22:10Speaker 5: run during the pandemic. I think we got to take
- 22:12Speaker 5: it down a notch with them.
- 22:13Speaker 2: We love it now.
- 22:15Speaker 6: I've been on your I've been in the same exact
- 22:17Speaker 6: came and.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Nurses, especially in the city, A lot of the nurses
- 22:21Speaker 2: are really dumb there, and they're bad people.
- 22:23Speaker 6: They're bad people.
- 22:24Speaker 2: They love the power, Yeah, they love the.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Teachers are the same way to relax, you're all.
- 22:33Speaker 1: That's and that's what I was also getting at. But
- 22:35Speaker 1: I didn't say they're all.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Slow, they're all horse.
- 22:40Speaker 5: You ever had wild sex that was with a teacher
- 22:42Speaker 5: or nurse, for sure, But the the the fucking nurse.
- 22:48Speaker 5: First of all, they came in and like they just
- 22:50Speaker 5: they got to me. It was two nurses together to
- 22:53Speaker 5: take blood, which seemed unecessary. And then they just they
- 22:55Speaker 5: were just carrying on conversation while standing over me, like
- 22:59Speaker 5: just like it did not have to did not pertain
- 23:01Speaker 5: to me at all. It wasn't they're trying to figure
- 23:03Speaker 5: out how to attack this vein. They were just like
- 23:05Speaker 5: talking like like talking about another nurse, as nurses do,
- 23:08Speaker 5: of course.
- 23:09Speaker 2: All they do. They talk about all the stuff.
- 23:12Speaker 5: And I was like, like it was whatever, however long
- 23:15Speaker 5: you think it went on. It went on way long,
- 23:17Speaker 5: like like we're talking multiple minutes, and then like not
- 23:20Speaker 5: hadn't even acknowledged me in the room yet.
- 23:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I can tell you who they're talking about.
- 23:24Speaker 1: They're talking about the one nurse that wound up fucking
- 23:27Speaker 1: one of the church.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, now he's married.
- 23:30Speaker 6: And then you know, in the workplace, dynamics down.
- 23:33Speaker 2: They're just mad they didn't do it exactly had their
- 23:35Speaker 2: chance and morals and.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Old ladies who like like we let our prime passes by,
- 23:42Speaker 5: like we're never getting a doctor a surgeon. But then
- 23:45Speaker 5: so they fucking they go to a vein and like
- 23:48Speaker 5: they couldn't be like you you're not you're all out
- 23:50Speaker 5: of juice right now, and I was like, I'm not
- 23:51Speaker 5: out of juice.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I'm a living person. Yeah juice, And I've had them
- 23:55Speaker 2: say that to me too. I got like the prick
- 23:57Speaker 2: in my finger and they were like squeet, they squeeze
- 24:00Speaker 2: it out. They were like, wow, have you what was
- 24:02Speaker 2: that time you drank water? Yeah? Yeah, it's like probably
- 24:04Speaker 2: like a week.
- 24:06Speaker 8: They couldn't get blood from me to a point that
- 24:08Speaker 8: I was like, am I dead?
- 24:11Speaker 2: They were like.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Kind of doing one of those things where they were
- 24:13Speaker 8: looking and they were trying to like keep their cool.
- 24:15Speaker 2: But they were like calling other people in. They're like,
- 24:18Speaker 2: you know, can you come remember second? Like a yeah
- 24:20Speaker 2: I was.
- 24:21Speaker 6: They were basically like.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Is your heart pumping?
- 24:24Speaker 1: No, that just shows how inep they are.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Like there will be blood.
- 24:28Speaker 6: There's like fucking oil underneath everywhere you stepped.
- 24:31Speaker 2: There's blood everywhere.
- 24:32Speaker 6: Just find the fun find the blood.
- 24:34Speaker 8: Right there, bruised up like a dude, that's the worst.
- 24:38Speaker 2: She started.
- 24:38Speaker 6: She didn't take the knee out, but just started moving.
- 24:41Speaker 5: It like you're looking thetle bit the bottom And I
- 24:46Speaker 5: was like I can't feel that.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I by the way, like and like I.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Couldn't wear a sweatshirt for fucking I mean, I could
- 24:51Speaker 5: wear a T shirt for like over a week.
- 24:55Speaker 8: I had a massive bruise, crazy bothers me feeling and
- 25:01Speaker 8: moving in otherwise.
- 25:02Speaker 2: You know my favorite thing Portnoy can't give blood. He
- 25:04Speaker 2: passes out when he does that. That's that's weirdly not surprising.
- 25:07Speaker 2: I could see that, yeah, but it's what I was saying.
- 25:10Speaker 5: You should have seen fucking Dave when he fucking when
- 25:13Speaker 5: Hank cut off the tip of his thumb his finger.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Dave handcutfs the tip of his finger using a drone
- 25:18Speaker 2: like his bare hands.
- 25:19Speaker 6: This is back in Milton's by eight years ago.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Maybe tried to catch his hands just he was like
- 25:24Speaker 5: he was like fucking flying it down by the water
- 25:26Speaker 5: and he came back to the office He's like, I
- 25:28Speaker 5: just cut my finger off and we were like what dude,
- 25:31Speaker 5: And he like shows it and like the tip of
- 25:33Speaker 5: his finger is just hanging oh red and not like
- 25:36Speaker 5: not like it was like it was like the first knuckle,
- 25:38Speaker 5: like the tip from like the top.
- 25:39Speaker 2: But it was like a cap almost. What was Hank
- 25:44Speaker 2: was Hank was real calm.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Hank was real calm, and Dave, there's definitely there's definitely
- 25:48Speaker 5: video of it and Dave was like, like a freak get.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Away from me.
- 25:54Speaker 6: And then he's like, but credits the day.
- 25:56Speaker 5: He kept trying to look and then kept like almost
- 25:58Speaker 5: passing out and then he had to take came to
- 26:00Speaker 5: the hospital and sit because we didn't have healthcare at
- 26:02Speaker 5: the time.
- 26:02Speaker 6: So the David just had the paper out of pocket.
- 26:05Speaker 8: The best of Hank's mom's email, remember that, Yes, she
- 26:08Speaker 8: she was like I fucking knew you shouldn't have been
- 26:11Speaker 8: with him, like this bad dudes from the start.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have a finger anymore. We had that
- 26:16Speaker 2: email get public though, I think Hank, like I think
- 26:19Speaker 2: his brothers talked about it. I've like seen that email something.
- 26:23Speaker 8: Yeah, I think they got put together in like a
- 26:25Speaker 8: you know, uh one of the Dana's videos or something
- 26:28Speaker 8: like that. I think it was like relatively recent that
- 26:31Speaker 8: it got made public, but it was sent back then
- 26:34Speaker 8: of Hank's mom being like you I knew you, yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 8: and now look at you know, like missus Lockwood, like
- 26:41Speaker 8: Hank would be like dead in the gutter.
- 26:43Speaker 2: He's like a suit.
- 26:46Speaker 6: He's probably richest fu.
- 26:47Speaker 8: Yeah and become you know, he was always like a
- 26:52Speaker 8: hard worker and like good ideas and ship but he's
- 26:55Speaker 8: he's become like smart about like the business and ship.
- 26:57Speaker 6: It makes good decisions. Yeah, it's fucking weird.
- 27:00Speaker 8: So there is a weird like portrayal like to the audio,
- 27:02Speaker 8: like people think that he's like really.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Dumb, right, well there is. He's a pretty normal dude. Yeah, no,
- 27:09Speaker 2: I guess he. The thing is being a little withholding
- 27:12Speaker 2: right now. I think, well, I haven't known I've only
- 27:15Speaker 2: known him for like that year.
- 27:16Speaker 5: I don't even know that means with not the word
- 27:18Speaker 5: I'm meant to use. But you're being like, uh, I
- 27:21Speaker 5: feel like you're about to call hang dumb.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I think he was.
- 27:24Speaker 8: The problem is we he started working for us as
- 27:26Speaker 8: a child. Yeah, so he was like it was like
- 27:28Speaker 8: he was a dumb kid. And then when you like
- 27:32Speaker 8: you start with someone and they make mistakes like that
- 27:34Speaker 8: and they say dumb things and they.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Or you just see all their stupid young habits that
- 27:37Speaker 1: they have, you know what I mean, Like we.
- 27:39Speaker 8: See you that's like stupid, like just things that are like, oh,
- 27:42Speaker 8: you're dumb. And then it's like, yeah, but I'm mostoly,
- 27:44Speaker 8: just like an eighteen year old kid who's like scared
- 27:45Speaker 8: to be at work, right, And then it's like, no,
- 27:47Speaker 8: I'm now I'm like a twenty eight year old guy
- 27:48Speaker 8: who like knows what he's doing.
- 27:49Speaker 1: And he says like yeah, calculated hot takes on his
- 27:51Speaker 1: shows and ship like yeah, he also knows to.
- 27:54Speaker 8: Be like like I I'm sure he could figure out
- 27:58Speaker 8: any and and any industry your company, But like if
- 28:01Speaker 8: you dropped him into like a real fucking network tomorrow,
- 28:06Speaker 8: I don't know if he would thrive. But he's like,
- 28:08Speaker 8: I know how barstool works, yeah, and I know how
- 28:10Speaker 8: we're gonna get views. And I love that he like
- 28:12Speaker 8: shuts down any outsiders who come in like all right,
- 28:15Speaker 8: we're gonna.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Film it this way and we're gonna talk about it
- 28:17Speaker 2: this way. And he's like, no, we're not. We're gonna
- 28:18Speaker 2: do it this way and this way because that's how
- 28:19Speaker 2: it works.
- 28:20Speaker 6: That's way smart.
- 28:20Speaker 2: He sticks to his guns, and like that's.
- 28:22Speaker 6: What that's very smart in that aspect.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I got a question for you guys, and this is
- 28:26Speaker 1: like a little bit it's kind of in the vein
- 28:27Speaker 1: that you guys have been going. I don't know what
- 28:28Speaker 1: we'll keep it at the beginning of the show, but
- 28:30Speaker 1: you guys are talking about how you're leaning into some
- 28:32Speaker 1: of the inside Barstool stuff and just like not really
- 28:35Speaker 1: like kind of holding back on.
- 28:36Speaker 5: It happened accidentally, but yeah, I guess we kind of
- 28:39Speaker 5: have the It would be disingenuous to say we haven't
- 28:41Speaker 5: started doing that.
- 28:42Speaker 6: It's only been like two weeks. I don't want to
- 28:44Speaker 6: make a career out of it, but.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It's a stressful thing to do and I don't like
- 28:49Speaker 2: doing it.
- 28:49Speaker 8: But once the Dave Portois show went away, I was like,
- 28:53Speaker 8: I think there's like a market to grab some more views.
- 28:57Speaker 2: And that's like what like half of the Barstool fans
- 28:59Speaker 2: I know want to see.
- 29:01Speaker 8: And it's like millions, and the other half will be like,
- 29:03Speaker 8: are you still talking about who's Rico? It is a
- 29:08Speaker 8: weird thing where it's like yes, some people are like, oh,
- 29:10Speaker 8: I just follow the Instagram and other people are like, you.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Know, what's Rico's real?
- 29:13Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 29:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But but my question is this, So, so my question
- 29:17Speaker 1: is this. You guys talked about it a little bit
- 29:21Speaker 1: at the company meeting, but like, uh, when like, uh,
- 29:26Speaker 1: what's the future of New York at Barstool? I kind
- 29:28Speaker 1: of want to hear you guys talk about it because
- 29:30Speaker 1: I know you got to you.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Guys were the only ones doing the inside bar stool.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Because I'm that curious about it and I think people
- 29:37Speaker 1: will be interested. And if you guys have really expounded
- 29:40Speaker 1: on it on your show, I know you kind of
- 29:41Speaker 1: test it at that meeting.
- 29:42Speaker 5: We we we kind of what kind of happened to
- 29:45Speaker 5: start was I'm like, Kevin do most explaining, But we
- 29:50Speaker 5: basically got like San Francisco giants.
- 29:52Speaker 2: We're like we wanted to have.
- 29:53Speaker 5: We were like, all right, we're got a press conference
- 29:55Speaker 5: and then press conference, were like is anything final?
- 29:58Speaker 2: And they were like no, and like, well it'd be
- 30:00Speaker 2: weird to We would have said a lot more at
- 30:02Speaker 2: that meeting.
- 30:03Speaker 8: I think if if we knew for sure, I think
- 30:05Speaker 8: what's going on, like Dave has moved on to whatever
- 30:08Speaker 8: next level Dave shit he's gonna do. And when Dan
- 30:11Speaker 8: leaves here, it kind of leaves the office like rudderless,
- 30:14Speaker 8: and I think we're kind of the natural uh like
- 30:18Speaker 8: last guy's left to to kind.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Of run the show a little bit.
- 30:21Speaker 8: But in talking with Erica, we've been like, I'm like,
- 30:27Speaker 8: do we want to are we doing this for real?
- 30:29Speaker 8: Or are we doing this because like we just need
- 30:31Speaker 8: New York to look like it's busy, and we need
- 30:34Speaker 8: to have some sort of semblance of a company in
- 30:39Speaker 8: this big office.
- 30:40Speaker 12: Golf season is in full swing and getting out there
- 30:43Speaker 12: to work on your game is bound to make any
- 30:45Speaker 12: day even better. I mean, if you're looking to improve
- 30:48Speaker 12: your drive, Chevy Equinox EVY is the smartest choice you
- 30:52Speaker 12: can make. Bold athletic styling, a commanding presence, award winning tech,
- 30:57Speaker 12: an impressive range, all with an affordable m Chevy Equinox
- 31:02Speaker 12: ev will put a smile on your face no matter
- 31:04Speaker 12: how your scorecard shakes out.
- 31:06Speaker 8: Cause if we're gonna do it for real, I think
- 31:09Speaker 8: I have like a good idea of how to do
- 31:11Speaker 8: it internally and externally, and I think there's some changes
- 31:14Speaker 8: that I would try to make as far as how
- 31:16Speaker 8: we interact with each other and how like the company flows.
- 31:20Speaker 2: But I'm also like, I know how this company works.
- 31:24Speaker 2: At the end of the day.
- 31:24Speaker 8: I know that this is Dave's company, and I know
- 31:27Speaker 8: Dan's the big star and it's like those and this
- 31:30Speaker 8: is a.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Gambling company and all that.
- 31:31Speaker 8: But like, if you want to do a New York
- 31:34Speaker 8: office that is non gambling, that is based in comedy
- 31:38Speaker 8: and entertainment and podcasting. I think we know what the
- 31:41Speaker 8: fuck we're doing when it comes to that, and I
- 31:43Speaker 8: think we could really do some very cool shit with
- 31:46Speaker 8: a lot of people here who I think are very
- 31:48Speaker 8: talented and have been like, I don't know what to do.
- 31:51Speaker 8: And I think Barstool's cool because they're like, go here's
- 31:54Speaker 8: the ball and run with it. But I think there's
- 31:55Speaker 8: a lot of people who are like, I don't know
- 31:58Speaker 8: what to do, and I'm like, I think we can
- 31:59Speaker 8: help you with that. I think that there are people
- 32:01Speaker 8: who are funny who don't even know it, and I'm like,
- 32:03Speaker 8: you could be a star if we do it the
- 32:05Speaker 8: right way. I think that a lot of people who
- 32:06Speaker 8: are funny too and have been under the impression that
- 32:09Speaker 8: they have to pretend to be gamblers. Yes, I think
- 32:12Speaker 8: we also do podcasts, right, Yeah, No, honestly, we don't
- 32:15Speaker 8: have to do a podcast. As a matter of fact,
- 32:17Speaker 8: I would tell you not to do a podcast. Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 8: it's very I think it's kind of yeah, like it's
- 32:20Speaker 8: kind of a dead medium in a way to start.
- 32:22Speaker 8: Unless you're like a superstar, you have your own audience
- 32:24Speaker 8: to build one now is kind of tough.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I mean, I think guys like Rudy.
- 32:28Speaker 8: I think guys like Tommy are people who are like you,
- 32:30Speaker 8: are very funny, and I think you've been in the
- 32:33Speaker 8: shadow of a lot of people and working on your
- 32:36Speaker 8: own for a lot of times. And like, if we
- 32:37Speaker 8: get the right people behind you and the right ideas,
- 32:40Speaker 8: you guys could be great. And then there are externally,
- 32:43Speaker 8: I think there we The one thing I've seen from
- 32:47Speaker 8: the comedy world is the amount of people, the amount
- 32:50Speaker 8: of guys and girls who come in and they're like,
- 32:52Speaker 8: I spent my life savings on this.
- 32:55Speaker 2: YouTube special and it's gotta work.
- 32:59Speaker 8: And then I see it and I'm like, that doesn't
- 33:03Speaker 8: look that good.
- 33:03Speaker 2: And I got guys here who not.
- 33:05Speaker 6: The content the production, Yeah, like the production.
- 33:07Speaker 8: You put your life savings into this cameraman and this
- 33:10Speaker 8: edit and this shot and lighting, and I'm like, that
- 33:13Speaker 8: looks like you just put up a fucking tripod at
- 33:15Speaker 8: the stands And we got guys here, yeah, to do
- 33:19Speaker 8: it for you or something like that, right, And I'm
- 33:20Speaker 8: sure they get you know, there's some union guys or
- 33:22Speaker 8: whoever however that works that jack the price up or
- 33:25Speaker 8: whatever you got to do, and they tell you need this,
- 33:26Speaker 8: you need that. I could send Nick and PAVs down
- 33:29Speaker 8: there and they will make you a special ten times
- 33:30Speaker 8: better than that, and we could do it at a
- 33:32Speaker 8: fraction of the cost. So why don't you guys come
- 33:34Speaker 8: here and we can help you, you know, do your special.
- 33:37Speaker 8: And then we got to you know, we'll figure out
- 33:38Speaker 8: some split of revenue and money and all that kind
- 33:41Speaker 8: of stuff. But you know, we like everything else. It's like,
- 33:45Speaker 8: you know, at Barslow, you get a lot of there's
- 33:47Speaker 8: a lot of pie in the sky ideas.
- 33:49Speaker 2: And it's like, are we really going to do that
- 33:51Speaker 2: or are we are we?
- 33:53Speaker 1: You know, is that the So what does it take
- 33:55Speaker 1: for it to to really do that?
- 33:59Speaker 8: I feel like it's got to be, you know, something
- 34:02Speaker 8: from above, like from management being like, yeah, like you
- 34:05Speaker 8: got the keys to the castle, go.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I'm like, I would imagine think it's keys. I think
- 34:08Speaker 2: it's more just like budget.
- 34:10Speaker 8: Yeah, I was gonna say, but but like like here's
- 34:12Speaker 8: some money to work with, and here is uh like
- 34:15Speaker 8: all of them that will exist. It's just like we said,
- 34:17Speaker 8: another number is Yeah, there's been a lot of like
- 34:19Speaker 8: you tell me what you want and I'll go get them.
- 34:21Speaker 8: And it's like, well, I need to be able to
- 34:22Speaker 8: tell them what kind of ballpark we're working in, and
- 34:25Speaker 8: are we talking about a salary or are we talking
- 34:27Speaker 8: about a rev share?
- 34:28Speaker 2: Are we talking about a one time payment? Are we
- 34:31Speaker 2: you know? And then also the idea of like.
- 34:35Speaker 8: For twenty years now, it's basically every decision has come
- 34:39Speaker 8: it has been Dave's decision, you know, and it's like,
- 34:41Speaker 8: are we are we going to be separate enough from
- 34:44Speaker 8: that where if Dave says like I don't like a guy,
- 34:47Speaker 8: and I say I do like a guy and it's
- 34:50Speaker 8: for my section of our stool, does that actually happen
- 34:53Speaker 8: or is it like, come on, we know that this
- 34:55Speaker 8: is Dave's company, So you're talking about hiring, yeah, like
- 34:57Speaker 8: hiring talent or making a business decision out like this
- 35:01Speaker 8: show is working or isn't working, or we're gonna pair
- 35:03Speaker 8: these people together or you know, whatever it may be.
- 35:08Speaker 1: So where do you think that like as as like
- 35:10Speaker 1: barstool grows, Like, where do you think would be like
- 35:13Speaker 1: interesting or the best place to get talent from?
- 35:16Speaker 6: Because obviously you guys work with.
- 35:17Speaker 1: A ton of comedians, but then you mentioned guys like
- 35:20Speaker 1: Tommy and Rudy who don't necessarily come from like a
- 35:22Speaker 1: stand up or a comedian world or podcasting world before that, Like,
- 35:26Speaker 1: what do you think the best way to go about
- 35:27Speaker 1: talent acquisition going forward?
- 35:29Speaker 2: Is that's a great question.
- 35:31Speaker 8: I feel like that we know the comedy circuit well
- 35:34Speaker 8: and I feel like you would know too, Like you
- 35:36Speaker 8: know the.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Names that start to bubble up, like yeah, I think
- 35:40Speaker 2: this guy deserves it, and yeah, I think that's a
- 35:42Speaker 2: big thing I think. I mean, obviously, going off of
- 35:44Speaker 2: what you said about the Dave thing, like him hiring
- 35:46Speaker 2: someone that he likes. It's like, obviously Dave just created
- 35:49Speaker 2: his own little world of characters, which is like in
- 35:51Speaker 2: its works. But also there's a side of people who
- 35:54Speaker 2: It's like I could name fifteen people right now who
- 35:56Speaker 2: have no platform at all who will go up at
- 35:59Speaker 2: the stand and the seller and the New York funniest
- 36:01Speaker 2: talking people Dave and Dave. Yeah they like the weirdos.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I think that.
- 36:09Speaker 8: So there's a couple of things Dave has always blatantly
- 36:11Speaker 8: been like I don't like stand up, and right now
- 36:13Speaker 8: stand up is having its like renaissance and it's like
- 36:16Speaker 8: glow up where it's like everybody is fucking and I
- 36:21Speaker 8: think that they are putting out some like the funniest
- 36:24Speaker 8: ship out there. Yeah, and so you know, I mean
- 36:28Speaker 8: there's been plenty of times I've got I've gone to
- 36:30Speaker 8: Dave with either talking about hiring comics or like I
- 36:34Speaker 8: remember when he was like, why would I have Sebastian
- 36:36Speaker 8: Maniscalco do a pizza review? And it was the same
- 36:39Speaker 8: weekend he sold one hundred thousand tickets.
- 36:43Speaker 2: In a weekend.
- 36:45Speaker 8: He he had like five sold out shows that weekend.
- 36:49Speaker 8: And it's it's pizza and it's Sebastian. It's like, why
- 36:52Speaker 8: would you not do this?
- 36:53Speaker 1: So, you know, you get some people that you've got
- 36:55Speaker 1: that you've like like pitched that they didn't wind up
- 36:59Speaker 1: working out.
- 37:00Speaker 8: We we famously got to the one yard line with
- 37:03Speaker 8: Jesus Amiro back in the day. Who I think those
- 37:06Speaker 8: guys they probably ended up doing just fine. I know
- 37:09Speaker 8: they just recently split, but I'm sure they made their money.
- 37:11Speaker 8: But had they stayed on the internet and not gone
- 37:14Speaker 8: the TV route, I think they would have had like
- 37:17Speaker 8: a call her an Addy type of Yeah, I don't.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Know if I'm I don't know. I mean, whatever who
- 37:23Speaker 2: Cares was wasn't like Cometown in the mix for a
- 37:25Speaker 2: minute was about hiring them. I didn't think that.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Yeah, it sounds familiar, but that wasn't.
- 37:33Speaker 2: It wasn't. I don't know them. I didn't know them
- 37:34Speaker 2: as well.
- 37:35Speaker 6: I think I offered a radio show or something like that.
- 37:37Speaker 8: Yeah, And that's a perfect example too, though those guys
- 37:40Speaker 8: would have been great.
- 37:41Speaker 2: We brought up to Stefano.
- 37:42Speaker 8: To Stefano, they he passed on Dave. Dave said with
- 37:47Speaker 8: the Stefano like, it basically kind of implied like he's
- 37:52Speaker 8: just another funny thirty year old white guy and we've
- 37:56Speaker 8: got a bunch of those. And he was like, we
- 37:59Speaker 8: don't need any more of those. And I was like,
- 38:00Speaker 8: are you implying to me that we're not going to
- 38:02Speaker 8: hire any more of those? Ever?
- 38:05Speaker 2: And we reached our limit of just funny guys.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Hired exclusively those since that day.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say we probably had fat guys
- 38:12Speaker 1: as part of that demographic.
- 38:15Speaker 6: Demographic that is so true.
- 38:17Speaker 5: It's a different years to the Rob mclaney route. Just
- 38:20Speaker 5: start putting down a gallon ice cream every morning, maybe
- 38:23Speaker 5: we can talk.
- 38:24Speaker 6: If you just showed up fat like, they will probably
- 38:26Speaker 6: love it.
- 38:27Speaker 10: For real.
- 38:27Speaker 6: It's kind like a funny name.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're fat and retarded, I'll sign Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 2: that one.
- 38:33Speaker 8: That one hurt because I remember being like Chris is
- 38:35Speaker 8: really blown up recently and we probably were we were
- 38:40Speaker 8: talking about getting him right before like the explosion, and
- 38:43Speaker 8: it would have been under barsols umbrella and he didn't
- 38:45Speaker 8: want to do it. And then I also think the Internet,
- 38:49Speaker 8: like you know, we just know Internet funny, and I
- 38:52Speaker 8: think you see enough, like you know, like I love
- 38:55Speaker 8: Danny Lopriori, the let Me suck on your titties guy,
- 38:58Speaker 8: Like when a video pops like that and you start
- 39:00Speaker 8: to give it a look, and then you follow their
- 39:02Speaker 8: ship and you're like, this is consistently this.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Podcast is hilarious and they're like freestyle and freestyle like
- 39:07Speaker 1: just like talent, you know, like so there there's I
- 39:10Speaker 1: think the Internet and and the stand up world would
- 39:12Speaker 1: be like the two places we would And do you
- 39:15Speaker 1: think it came down to like like our stand ups
- 39:17Speaker 1: like really expensive and ship like that?
- 39:19Speaker 6: Obviously not because they're not.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I mean I think that there's I would I would
- 39:25Speaker 2: like to I.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Think stand ups thing and SaaS obviously there's a lot
- 39:28Speaker 5: more this than I do. I would think that stands
- 39:30Speaker 5: making a lot more money than I guess once you
- 39:32Speaker 5: reach a certain level.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I mean, if you're just doing like spots in the city,
- 39:35Speaker 2: you're not making anything. You're making like it's like what
- 39:39Speaker 2: like it's like I think you at the stand, it's
- 39:41Speaker 2: like fifty bucks. It's insane for a show.
- 39:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm not even the house for fifty dollars. Yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 8: it's like one hundred for a weekend. But like you
- 39:50Speaker 8: all right now, right, Like yeah, yeah, there's people like
- 39:52Speaker 8: there's yeah.
- 39:53Speaker 2: So then you go on the road and then there's
- 39:54Speaker 2: like different door deals you can get with like percentages
- 39:56Speaker 2: of tickets. And it also depends on how long you've
- 39:58Speaker 2: been doing common how good you have to be to
- 40:01Speaker 2: make like seventy five thousand dollars a year to have
- 40:07Speaker 2: like a you know'.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Saying you've got to be good as fuck, dude mook
- 40:10Speaker 1: saying you gotta be a fucking you gotta be nice, right,
- 40:13Speaker 1: you gotta know you gotta be Like I think, I like.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Did the math about someone how much like how much
- 40:18Speaker 2: someone like Norman who does like six spots a night
- 40:21Speaker 2: would make just in New York And I think it's
- 40:23Speaker 2: like maybe like forty thousand dollars crazy for a guy.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I mean, like, but that Norman will go on the
- 40:30Speaker 2: road for a weekend, He'll make like seventy five thousand.
- 40:33Speaker 2: That's where you.
- 40:33Speaker 9: Know, I.
- 40:35Speaker 8: In weekend you get like pasted at a local club
- 40:39Speaker 8: and you're not touring yet and you're like just maybe
- 40:43Speaker 8: headlining at a local spot in the city, or you
- 40:46Speaker 8: have consistent work at the comedy store or whatever the
- 40:49Speaker 8: comedy seller. You know, is that like a living wage
- 40:52Speaker 8: or you like you're like got you have? Fucking you can't.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Really, I don't think you can really make a living wage.
- 40:57Speaker 2: And I don't want to like step out of line
- 40:59Speaker 2: because inside I feel like some people are gonna be like,
- 41:01Speaker 2: actually you can. But I think realistically, to make like
- 41:04Speaker 2: a comfortable living wage, I think you can afford, you
- 41:08Speaker 2: would have to be going on the road. Yeah, okay,
- 41:10Speaker 2: that's like where like John Mulaney started doing stand up
- 41:12Speaker 2: on the road because that's how he made That's how
- 41:15Speaker 2: you make money, Like you but like to get good
- 41:17Speaker 2: enough to go on the road, you have to do
- 41:19Speaker 2: like the five Yeah, yeah, I mean it is. It
- 41:22Speaker 2: is insane what you guys do.
- 41:25Speaker 8: I would never commit that much time and effort to
- 41:29Speaker 8: anything like, Okay, you have to go up like three
- 41:31Speaker 8: times a night, seven nights a week.
- 41:33Speaker 1: You have to do that for a decade, and such
- 41:35Speaker 1: a lofty goal. It's like a kid who wants to
- 41:37Speaker 1: be president.
- 41:38Speaker 8: It's like yeah, yeah, it's high fu like I'm going
- 41:42Speaker 8: to do a spec Like yeah, I'm going to do
- 41:44Speaker 8: so much fucking work, Like it's so much.
- 41:46Speaker 2: The first time I bomb, I'm done. I'm not subjecting
- 41:50Speaker 2: myself to that again.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, silent like it is.
- 41:56Speaker 2: It does sound bad, but then also you start to
- 41:58Speaker 2: realize you're like, Okay, the worst thing that happened was
- 42:00Speaker 2: like maybe like fifty people will leave the show and
- 42:03Speaker 2: be like that one dude I don't even remember his name. Yeah,
- 42:06Speaker 2: right right, that's the worst thing that happened.
- 42:07Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean I still in the moment, dude, Like, dude,
- 42:12Speaker 8: I'll go if I'm having a bad set, I'll feel
- 42:15Speaker 8: my back and there's like gallons we sweat pouring.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Bro.
- 42:19Speaker 8: Every time, I hate this guy because he doesn't sweat.
- 42:22Speaker 8: We I just this is our last like live shows
- 42:26Speaker 8: of the year. I finally got over it, but up
- 42:29Speaker 8: until then, every live show we did and my hair
- 42:32Speaker 8: would be like.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 42:34Speaker 8: And then and then I also like, once I start sweating,
- 42:36Speaker 8: I think about sweating and I you know what I mean.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're fine.
- 42:40Speaker 8: The show was fine, you know, but I'm like, in
- 42:42Speaker 8: my head, I said something and there was silence, and
- 42:44Speaker 8: I'm like, oh my god.
- 42:45Speaker 1: He's such an immediate indictment of like who you are
- 42:47Speaker 1: and your abilities.
- 42:48Speaker 6: It's like it's like people don't think.
- 42:51Speaker 1: People think that I am not funny, and I'm trying
- 42:54Speaker 1: to be funny, but I don't even care.
- 42:56Speaker 5: If it's like I don't it doesn't like silence. Obviously
- 42:58Speaker 5: I don't want that, but it can be it can
- 43:00Speaker 5: be raucous laughter. But if I just happen to be
- 43:03Speaker 5: looking at one person who didn't laugh, well, we were.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Talking about this. So Moke comes with me on the road.
- 43:10Speaker 2: He hosts for my shows, and uh, dude, you will
- 43:13Speaker 2: be like killing a room, like everyone like bent over laughing,
- 43:17Speaker 2: and then there'll be like one dude in the front
- 43:19Speaker 2: road just being like and You're like you want to
- 43:22Speaker 2: like get in his face and be like, why are
- 43:23Speaker 2: you not laughing? You know what that is? What did
- 43:25Speaker 2: I say? Everyone else? Yeah, that's that's like the Internet
- 43:30Speaker 2: come to life.
- 43:31Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, you got a bunch of people and
- 43:32Speaker 8: think you're awesome, and the one guy who says you suck, dick,
- 43:34Speaker 8: you're like your day and that's just happening in front
- 43:36Speaker 8: of you.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Like maybe I do sucked.
- 43:39Speaker 8: We were in Philly and we had we had like
- 43:42Speaker 8: seven hundred people at the Fillmore I think it was,
- 43:44Speaker 8: and I thought it was like our best show to date.
- 43:47Speaker 8: And they reserved like two seats that they ended up
- 43:51Speaker 8: not filling and they were writing John's vision.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:54Speaker 6: This was a Grammy theater which was sold out.
- 43:56Speaker 8: Okay, Grammar's theater sold out, and like we leave the
- 44:00Speaker 8: we like we finished the show, we leave the stage.
- 44:01Speaker 8: I'm like, oh my god. He was like, fucking we
- 44:04Speaker 8: bombed in front of an empty theater. And I was like,
- 44:07Speaker 8: I was like, we just killed in front of a
- 44:08Speaker 8: full one. What are you talking about?
- 44:10Speaker 2: Yeah, because he was just looking at two emptycs. It
- 44:12Speaker 2: was so bad.
- 44:12Speaker 5: It got so bad during the show that I was
- 44:14Speaker 5: wearing like a flatform cap where I was wearing a
- 44:16Speaker 5: baseball cap and I pulled it down so I couldn't
- 44:19Speaker 5: see because all I did was focusing on I was
- 44:21Speaker 5: just focusing on those two.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Seanwhile, the whole time, I was like, this is our
- 44:24Speaker 2: best show ever.
- 44:25Speaker 6: Why are you like that?
- 44:27Speaker 2: I mean mirror every morning, bro, dude, I think that
- 44:32Speaker 2: doing live podcasts is scarier than doing stand up by
- 44:35Speaker 2: a wall.
- 44:36Speaker 8: I I like, utmost respect to everything you guys do
- 44:42Speaker 8: because of everything I described, like the work you put
- 44:44Speaker 8: in the writing and crafting it. But then when I
- 44:47Speaker 8: realized that we take the stage with no witherio.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Nothing when we did our when we did a live
- 44:51Speaker 2: we did a live show in la at Laft Boston
- 44:53Speaker 2: with KB and Nick and Ron and Uh. I remember
- 44:57Speaker 2: getting up there and we had like a couple things
- 44:59Speaker 2: like like one liner jokes to like start the show
- 45:02Speaker 2: about Boston when we got up there, and then I
- 45:05Speaker 2: remember being like, what next, fuck? How about what the
- 45:08Speaker 2: hell are we going to talk about now?
- 45:10Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 45:10Speaker 2: And we we we got a pretty good system now
- 45:13Speaker 2: and like and you guys do like the voicemails and stuff, right,
- 45:15Speaker 2: we have a we have a show. You guys have
- 45:17Speaker 2: a show. Yeah. And we also, for the first time,
- 45:20Speaker 2: just like in the last in recent months, learned how
- 45:23Speaker 2: to like like.
- 45:26Speaker 8: In years past, every single show was completely different because
- 45:30Speaker 8: I was like, we have conversations and you can't, like
- 45:33Speaker 8: reh have a conversation, but then we kind of learned
- 45:35Speaker 8: you can, and we like not to say that we're
- 45:37Speaker 8: faking it, but it's like we'll bring up the same
- 45:39Speaker 8: topic of conversation and it'll start the same, but then
- 45:43Speaker 8: I say something different and he has a different joke
- 45:45Speaker 8: about it, or we take a different angle, so it's
- 45:47Speaker 8: like we kind of are redoing it, and then each
- 45:50Speaker 8: show grows on the previous one where we're like, last night,
- 45:53Speaker 8: you know this guy in the crowd said this, and
- 45:55Speaker 8: so like.
- 45:56Speaker 1: We figured out a live show unless it unless it
- 45:58Speaker 1: had some kind of built in structure like that where
- 46:00Speaker 1: it's like the beginning with whatever twenty minutes is gonna
- 46:02Speaker 1: be this where we know we're gonna touch on this,
- 46:04Speaker 1: We're gonna have this plant segment, like.
- 46:06Speaker 5: And I don't mean to be like, oh, it's like
- 46:08Speaker 5: stand up, but like it's like like we had said
- 46:10Speaker 5: things that were like, oh that word really funny.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, hundred percent. I do that every weekend. If
- 46:15Speaker 2: I find something that like, oh, the Buffalo crowd really
- 46:18Speaker 2: like this, I'm gonna do this in every single show. Yeah,
- 46:20Speaker 2: and then it will like kill.
- 46:21Speaker 5: But we've also like we've done it for so we
- 46:23Speaker 5: had like it's not even like conversations we're we're having.
- 46:25Speaker 5: It would be like basically like setting each other up
- 46:28Speaker 5: for a story where we have like like a four
- 46:31Speaker 5: minute monologue kind of deal, dude. And then but then
- 46:34Speaker 5: like we've been doing those for like a year, so
- 46:35Speaker 5: it's probably time to find new ones, right, so when
- 46:37Speaker 5: we go on because the first.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Ones we found like it just happened and that's like,
- 46:41Speaker 2: oh that worked.
- 46:42Speaker 8: We weren't like, let's come up with a repeatable thing, yea,
- 46:44Speaker 8: So now but now we kind of do need to
- 46:46Speaker 8: come up like think about it and it's like, oh
- 46:48Speaker 8: fuck that I don't know, but I yeah that that
- 46:50Speaker 8: thought of getting to this, the point where you have
- 46:54Speaker 8: us an act has got to be hell.
- 46:57Speaker 2: But then once you have it.
- 46:58Speaker 8: And you know exactly where the laughs are and where
- 47:01Speaker 8: the pauses are, and that you know everyone likes it
- 47:03Speaker 8: and you know people are gonna buy tickets and you're like,
- 47:05Speaker 8: I can just do this for like a year straight
- 47:08Speaker 8: and just make that does sweet Because I always ask
- 47:10Speaker 8: them like why you guys go to like fucking omaha,
- 47:13Speaker 8: like you still really want to get on.
- 47:14Speaker 2: A plane and go there and and and you know
- 47:17Speaker 2: these we're talking about some of the bigger guys.
- 47:18Speaker 8: They're like, well, I could just like sit at home,
- 47:21Speaker 8: or I could go make like a surgeon salary Rack
- 47:23Speaker 8: and surgeon Tom I can't imagine. I think is going
- 47:30Speaker 8: to be the richest man in the world. After his
- 47:32Speaker 8: tour he went to like every single club in theater
- 47:35Speaker 8: in the world.
- 47:38Speaker 6: You know, it's so impressive, dude.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Apparently, like because like Burt is like super huge obviously
- 47:43Speaker 2: and is making millions of dollars, but apparently Tom is
- 47:46Speaker 2: like even, like.
- 47:47Speaker 8: I say it all the time, those guys I think
- 47:50Speaker 8: are if not maybe above or Tide, they are like
- 47:56Speaker 8: right below Rogan.
- 47:57Speaker 2: And everybody talks about Rogan like this, you know, on level. Yeah,
- 48:01Speaker 2: but also Rogan's I mean like they do like they'll
- 48:04Speaker 2: do like arena like those guys would do like arenas
- 48:06Speaker 2: and then mix in theaters. Rogan's like strictly arenas, I think.
- 48:09Speaker 8: Yeah, but I mean even with the podcast too, Like
- 48:12Speaker 8: those guys are making money that is on a level
- 48:15Speaker 8: that is I don't think people realize they are financially
- 48:19Speaker 8: they're on that level.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 48:21Speaker 8: I like they are like when Bert said, uh, Whitney
- 48:25Speaker 8: Cummings asked him, like, if you had one last special
- 48:29Speaker 8: to ever promote, and you've got to make sure you
- 48:32Speaker 8: promote it like the best to like where the three
- 48:33Speaker 8: places you're going? And the first body said was us.
- 48:36Speaker 8: I was like, yeah, I saw that was like the
- 48:38Speaker 8: crowning achievement of my career. Yeah, And I was like,
- 48:40Speaker 8: and I still don't even think people understand, Like.
- 48:43Speaker 13: What, hello, We're going to talk about blue Choe my favorite.

- 49:54Speaker 8: Like the level he's at to say that, that's fucking
- 49:56Speaker 8: it's like he is he is, I think because he's
- 50:00Speaker 8: very down to earth and it's very you know, don't
- 50:03Speaker 8: You don't realize it.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Those guys are titans of the game right now. How
- 50:06Speaker 2: much they're walking away from doing one arena show. I mean,
- 50:09Speaker 2: think about you.
- 50:10Speaker 8: You know, basically they're doing like fifty dollars tickets, right
- 50:13Speaker 8: or forty dollars half a million?
- 50:14Speaker 2: You have like fifteen at least half a million. I
- 50:16Speaker 2: was going to say a million.
- 50:17Speaker 8: You know what's interesting I learned I learned from like this,
- 50:22Speaker 8: just this job in the industry.
- 50:23Speaker 2: I learned that to play the garden costs so much money.
- 50:27Speaker 8: And that's why you'll see a lot of acts go
- 50:29Speaker 8: to Barclays now because just to just to have like
- 50:33Speaker 8: the concessions and the security and whatever else they provide.
- 50:37Speaker 8: It's like you have to like put up like a
- 50:39Speaker 8: million dollars to go to the garden. Yeah, and now
- 50:41Speaker 8: you imagine if you're going to the garden, you're probably
- 50:43Speaker 8: selling out the garden and you make all that money.
- 50:45Speaker 2: But you got to be able to like, you know.
- 50:47Speaker 6: And that's probably why people are doing multiple shows in
- 50:49Speaker 6: a row and shit like that.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Well that's the thing that I got, like the whole
- 50:53Speaker 2: rundown about all that when I was when I started touring,
- 50:55Speaker 2: and it was like, like they say that doing a
- 50:58Speaker 2: weekend at a club can be a lot of times
- 51:02Speaker 2: more profitable than doing like one theater show.
- 51:05Speaker 6: Yeah, you can't do two theater shows in the night,
- 51:07Speaker 6: don't you.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 51:08Speaker 8: I feel like if you would do like five clubs,
- 51:11Speaker 8: five club spots in a weekend, and I understand that's
- 51:13Speaker 8: like five times the work of one night. Yeah, But
- 51:15Speaker 8: if you're gonna go somewhere for the weekend, like do it,
- 51:18Speaker 8: do it a couple of times. Don't pay out the
- 51:19Speaker 8: theaters yea. Or also I know this, I know this
- 51:23Speaker 8: about Dane Cook. Dane Cook revolutionized the game because he
- 51:26Speaker 8: was the first dude to rent out the space, and
- 51:28Speaker 8: he was like, don't. I won't use your concession and
- 51:32Speaker 8: security and all those people. Just give me the space
- 51:34Speaker 8: for the night, which costs a fuck ton upfront, but
- 51:37Speaker 8: then you're making like.
- 51:38Speaker 2: All and so he kind of changed in that.
- 51:40Speaker 8: Regardless, all right, I mean, but even that, I think
- 51:45Speaker 8: he was like, I made that money back like in
- 51:46Speaker 8: a year because he was killing so bad. But like
- 51:49Speaker 8: I'm I think we're at a point at Barstool and
- 51:53Speaker 8: just the industry in general where it's like, I know,
- 51:56Speaker 8: you want to play the wilbur and Radio City and
- 51:59Speaker 8: like these places that are iconic, but why don't we
- 52:02Speaker 8: just rent out a space and put chairs in and
- 52:06Speaker 8: do it all ourselves and then it can be branded.
- 52:08Speaker 2: And it gets like the fact that comics.
- 52:10Speaker 8: Don't just have a sponsor for their tours is fucking insane.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Yeah, especially because they all do podcasts and there's a
- 52:17Speaker 1: the podcast.
- 52:18Speaker 6: There's no preciousness about the art of it.
- 52:19Speaker 8: I think there still is for some reason with the touring,
- 52:22Speaker 8: but it's like the fact that it's not just like
- 52:24Speaker 8: the the Relapse tour by from Burt Kresher presented by
- 52:27Speaker 8: AT and.
- 52:28Speaker 2: T or some ship is fucking nuts. Yeah, that would
- 52:30Speaker 2: be wondering with being like, Okay, these people are already
- 52:33Speaker 2: paying money to come see me. I don't want to
- 52:36Speaker 2: throw but it's just like it's just yeah, I mean yeah,
- 52:41Speaker 2: if it's taking over the show, it's sad.
- 52:43Speaker 8: But during the set, but like if you're weird there
- 52:47Speaker 8: clothes or you're just drinking their their liquor, you know,
- 52:50Speaker 8: that'll be funny if you just to wipe your ass.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Now, you see, if you get totally now, my ass
- 53:01Speaker 2: smells like mint chill, you.
- 53:05Speaker 8: Get a cool breeze after a dude white maybe feeling good,
- 53:09Speaker 8: You are feeling good.
- 53:10Speaker 1: But it seems like even looking at sas like he's
- 53:13Speaker 1: not trying to do a special for like five years
- 53:15Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Due that's the other thing. I don't know why you
- 53:18Speaker 2: guys all feel the need to do a special. Yeah
- 53:20Speaker 2: they're I mean, like, just don't do them unless.
- 53:23Speaker 6: You are Wait, but I thought you were about to
- 53:24Speaker 6: start putting on specials.
- 53:26Speaker 2: You're yeah, you're right, but I would I would be
- 53:30Speaker 2: like cautious about who we do it with.
- 53:31Speaker 8: There's very few people who are like ready for a special,
- 53:34Speaker 8: very few.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Even if you have like a good hour. It's like
- 53:37Speaker 2: there's a good chance of that hour is not all
- 53:39Speaker 2: special worthy, Right.
- 53:40Speaker 8: You should do like a twenty five minute thing of
- 53:42Speaker 8: just your best or don't even just put things out
- 53:45Speaker 8: and don't call it a special, just be like here's
- 53:48Speaker 8: my YouTube video with some of my comedy. Because when
- 53:50Speaker 8: you call it a special, all of a sudden, you're
- 53:52Speaker 8: getting compared to like Chris Rock on HBO.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I'm not.
- 53:56Speaker 1: That fucking good, but it's still But I see comics
- 53:59Speaker 1: and the only thing that they'll put on like their
- 54:01Speaker 1: social media, their TikTok, their Instagram is the crowd work
- 54:04Speaker 1: that they do. And then it's like, but they'll also
- 54:06Speaker 1: go five years churning through probably if they come up
- 54:09Speaker 1: with an hour a year and they're honing and honing
- 54:11Speaker 1: and honing to get to that special eventually. But that's
- 54:14Speaker 1: still like an hour every year that you will never
- 54:16Speaker 1: put out to anywhere.
- 54:17Speaker 2: It's yeah, I have talked about I talked about this
- 54:19Speaker 2: with someone recently. Dude, I think it's like all the algorithm.
- 54:22Speaker 2: It's like the algorithm is like crowd work, like people
- 54:25Speaker 2: will put people will put clips out from like old specials,
- 54:28Speaker 2: like right, when the clipping thing got big and it
- 54:29Speaker 2: won't be big at all, but then you'll.
- 54:31Speaker 8: Be there's something to the vibe of like you're catching something,
- 54:35Speaker 8: you're catching something happening. Yeah, but it's funny because it's like,
- 54:38Speaker 8: it's not crowd work when you say to the guy
- 54:40Speaker 8: when you set up your premise with the guy in
- 54:42Speaker 8: the audience, yea, when you say, like, so you know,
- 54:45Speaker 8: do you work like manual labor, and then you know
- 54:48Speaker 8: you have a joke about me exactly, that's not crowd work,
- 54:51Speaker 8: like you just right, no, no, no, no, But I agree
- 54:54Speaker 8: with you because I posted one stand up clip and
- 54:56Speaker 8: everyone's like, wow, Sas is trying to do crowd work now, Like, no,
- 54:59Speaker 8: it's not fun crowd work like the joke that was
- 55:01Speaker 8: the build up, like I was building up the joke
- 55:03Speaker 8: and getting the audience engaged. I actually think it's fine
- 55:06Speaker 8: to do it. It's just it's funny when everybody acts
- 55:09Speaker 8: like this is like this is crowd Like you did
- 55:10Speaker 8: that bit in every fucking city with a different you
- 55:14Speaker 8: know plant.
- 55:15Speaker 2: I've also I also feel like you don't even need
- 55:17Speaker 2: a plant. I think.
- 55:20Speaker 8: Has anybody ever just like made up a audience member?
- 55:25Speaker 2: No, I don't because I know I get one about that,
- 55:27Speaker 2: and I think you could ye create a fictional person
- 55:34Speaker 2: you no one would know, and especially when you know
- 55:36Speaker 2: you got to repeat what they said to you. Yeah, yeah,
- 55:39Speaker 2: you should just say that. You could be like, you know,
- 55:42Speaker 2: look this fat motherfucker here and there's no motherucker there.
- 55:45Speaker 8: But but you know, and the people who sitting in
- 55:47Speaker 8: the front might be like, it might be.
- 55:48Speaker 6: Hard to do a couple of ladies tonight.
- 55:52Speaker 2: If you did it in like a theater. No one
- 55:54Speaker 2: would ever ever know. I or arenarth. Yeah, anything big
- 55:58Speaker 2: like that.
- 55:58Speaker 6: There was.
- 55:59Speaker 8: We had a moment on the road. I was like,
- 56:02Speaker 8: we always kind of pull the crowd. You know, we
- 56:05Speaker 8: got young people, old people.
- 56:06Speaker 2: We have diehard barstool fans, we have any new fans,
- 56:08Speaker 2: we have any couples. We always have a lot of couples.
- 56:10Speaker 2: It's a big date night thing for us.
- 56:12Speaker 8: And for the first time, I was like, because I
- 56:14Speaker 8: wanted to do a bit about being divorced, I was like,
- 56:17Speaker 8: do we have any divorced people in the crowd, And
- 56:20Speaker 8: it was it.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Was pure true crowd work.
- 56:23Speaker 8: There's one guy who was sitting front row and he
- 56:26Speaker 8: was like me and he you could tell he was
- 56:29Speaker 8: bent out of shape about it. It was like I was
- 56:31Speaker 8: coming from a place of like fuck it, you know,
- 56:32Speaker 8: like it's good, you're free. And then he was very
- 56:38Speaker 8: like timid and and then you said something like like
- 56:42Speaker 8: at the end of the show. I would have if
- 56:46Speaker 8: I was in the audience, I would have bet it
- 56:47Speaker 8: was a planted, callback scripted thing where you said something
- 56:51Speaker 8: about like being desperate for a girl and you were like, yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 8: this guy knows right, and it just fucking murdered and
- 56:57Speaker 8: he was like I was like, I don't remember which
- 57:00Speaker 8: one it was because I'm terrible when I'm doing the show.
- 57:02Speaker 8: I don't even look at the crowd. I'm like nervous,
- 57:04Speaker 8: so I'm looking at the lights, and You're always, I
- 57:06Speaker 8: feel like, very good at like you you do notice
- 57:09Speaker 8: the crowd.
- 57:09Speaker 2: I saw girl one time. Carolina always.
- 57:18Speaker 8: Brought it back to that guy, and I was like,
- 57:20Speaker 8: what a fucking moment it like it was it just
- 57:23Speaker 8: like the puzzle pieces just fit perfectly together, and I
- 57:25Speaker 8: was like, that was some real crowd work ship where
- 57:28Speaker 8: at all. But I think there's little tricks of the
- 57:30Speaker 8: trade that people are like using now and it's more
- 57:33Speaker 8: power to you. But it's like it's not you know.
- 57:36Speaker 8: I also think some of these guys right so much
- 57:40Speaker 8: like Sam Morrill is so he he's like I cannot
- 57:44Speaker 8: do stale material, so then put it on the internet.
- 57:47Speaker 8: But I think he actually does right, So he's actually
- 57:50Speaker 8: one who's doing it. But like when we got to
- 57:54Speaker 8: our last show, uh in Phoenix, they as we walked
- 57:59Speaker 8: in there getting the bags ready for the phones.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and we were like no, no, no.
- 58:03Speaker 8: I was like, we tell everybody post pictures, post videos, like, yeah,
- 58:07Speaker 8: we want our ship out there.
- 58:09Speaker 2: You know, they really they offer you guys the bag.
- 58:11Speaker 2: That was great, happened, that happened one time, only like
- 58:15Speaker 2: you guys don't want the bags. Yeah, yeah, we've never
- 58:19Speaker 2: got a few times I get it out, they can't
- 58:23Speaker 2: get it.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they were because don't pull it out of nowhere
- 58:26Speaker 1: ready for it.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I was thinking about that the other day, like
- 58:28Speaker 2: if I if I just like showed up to the
- 58:30Speaker 2: stand one night and I was like, where the bags.
- 58:32Speaker 2: I'm not going up unless there's back. Get the funk
- 58:35Speaker 2: out of you right now.
- 58:37Speaker 5: You know.
- 58:37Speaker 8: They say that like people are more present and the
- 58:39Speaker 8: experience is better.
- 58:40Speaker 2: I'm like, I want that ship.
- 58:42Speaker 8: I want the promotion from all these I want all
- 58:44Speaker 8: five hundred people here to post my sh On the.
- 58:46Speaker 6: End, no one is getting to their audience.
- 58:48Speaker 2: No one's on there, Like it's very rare. People are
- 58:50Speaker 2: like on their phone for the show, and you're like,
- 58:53Speaker 2: if they are, they're taking a picture, right. And also
- 58:56Speaker 2: no one's like, unless you're Dave Chappelle, no one's like,
- 58:58Speaker 2: all right, let's film this and send it to the
- 59:00Speaker 2: New York Post, right, yeah, right.
- 59:02Speaker 8: And like there's like maybe one or two segments of
- 59:05Speaker 8: show that we do where I'm like, I really hope
- 59:07Speaker 8: this doesn't make it to the internet.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Yeah, otherwise I'm like post this that won'll be cool
- 59:11Speaker 2: about that one. Yeah, let's leave that one that stays
- 59:14Speaker 2: within these walls, right.
- 59:15Speaker 1: And they know they're not trying to your listeners are
- 59:17Speaker 1: not trying to cancel you, guys.
- 59:18Speaker 2: No, No, I really think they are. Especially the people
- 59:21Speaker 2: that come are like the diehards of the.
- 59:24Speaker 6: No one who doesn't know us is coming to a show.
- 59:26Speaker 5: It's like, if you like, look at we show up
- 59:28Speaker 5: to like venues sometimes and it's like our fucking stupid
- 59:31Speaker 5: picture where it's like it's like this cartoon of.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Like two guys with their legs up. Yeah. KMC Radio tonight,
- 59:37Speaker 2: Like no one is walking by that one. I gotta
- 59:39Speaker 2: see that we're.
- 59:40Speaker 8: Not getting guys, we're not getting crowded day of Yeah,
- 59:43Speaker 8: I will say the best, like the best feeling doing
- 59:46Speaker 8: stand up is when you get the walk up crowd.
- 59:47Speaker 2: It's usually like the Saturday early show, like all the
- 59:49Speaker 2: old people come out and they're there just to see
- 59:52Speaker 2: a comedy show, and if you do well in front
- 59:54Speaker 2: of them, it's like the greatest feeling ever. So like
- 59:56Speaker 2: these people don't know who I am, they don't care
- 59:58Speaker 2: about its true actually laughing.
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, there is a feeling of like I kind
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: of got over the sweating and stuff, not because I
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: think that the show is all that great, but I
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: was like, they're gonna like this like literally no matter what.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: And we've also found time we also it's like half
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: I think half of it is the meet and greet,
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: Like we always make sure to take pictures and and
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: meet people, and I think they love that part of
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: it too.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: So that's a battle rap trick. I would go and
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: talk to everybody in the crowd, so by the time
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: it was for me to go up at a personal.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I have a back set. I'm out there talking to
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: every single person. Yeah, being like, dude, I'm so thankful
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: for you guys to I hope you guys had a
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: good time. Yeah, yeah, gets on them. I was funny
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: to get out of here. No, it is like if
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I do well, I'm like I did.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You can see why I pay Oh my god, I.
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: Mean a god in that moment, especially when you get
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: to the big the big arenas and ship like you
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: have like twenty thousand or Kevin Hart has like sixty
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: thousand people They're just howling at.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Him and you're just standing there. You're like literally a
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: god on earth.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: We did that with We went to the last year
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: I guess the nine to eleven uh party, Yeah, I
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: guess at MSG.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Yeah I went.
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: I went to that and when Chappelle came out and
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: he just stood there like like fucking that Jesus statue
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: in Brazil. Yeah, he just stood there like that like
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: it was it was actually like it was honestly.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: For being straight up, it was over. It was too
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: It was like, dude, you're not a god.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: But how Elon Musk is the fact that he went
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: up with Chappelle and he still got with Jesus.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Dude, it's got to be hard to not become like
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: a full on narcissist.
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: YEA, Like you're not like people are treating like everybody
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: telling you you're the greatest.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Who's the Roman emperor?
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: Who had that guy who he hired who just walk
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: behind him, walk behind him to keep whispering, You're just
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: a man, You're just a man.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: You're just a man, like Chappelle needs that now. That
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: was a transman, dude. That was like, that was like
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: watching twenty of the greatest comedians in the world. And
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: then Dave Chappelle went out and it was like, like
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: the biggest eruption I've ever seen. It was tel I
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: don't I don't think he was the best of the night,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: though not even remotely close. I wouldn't eve put him
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: in the top ten, right he was He was like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: it was a hammer.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: But also I thought that was unfair of John Stewart
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: because like the joke he made wasn't that bad.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: It was a nine to eleven joke.
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: It was.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: It was some up in laden and I honestly forget
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: what it was. I can't even butchers I forget what
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: it was. But like Johnston came.
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: He was like, alright, damn.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: But I thought I thought.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: Was one of the best of nights.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Sam j Sam was awesome, I thought, dude. I thought
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Michael Cha and Colin Joe. Everything Colin we saw about
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: sixty Nineland is what.
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: Yeah, you forget how many people are are stand ups
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: because I think of that guy as like, it's like, no,
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: he's a fucking colm. And they were very they were
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: with my favorite. They were so blown away by how
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: good they were.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: The when when College was talking about sixty nine and
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: his wife stand up six ninety his wife, and I
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: was like, I like, hit cat, wait see what he scarage.
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: Sixty nine He's got his nose in Scardro's as Yeah,
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: that's fucking crazy, funny, handsome, smart, It's like, fuck you.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: The funniest part of Chappelle's the only one that I like,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: really laughed out loud, was when the guy got the
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: guy was filming it. Yeah he's Asian too. It's like holy.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: You know when Cigar Cigaro was on stage talking about
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: jerking off his yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Was like his closer.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: He's telling his son he's got a jerk off.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, He's like dad, why is your
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: so much bigger than my? Because I'm hard, so fucking fun.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I love to grow too, because his bits are like
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: fifteen minutes long.
- 1:03:56Speaker 14: It's all stolen builds up, yeah, playoffs there, it's It's
- 1:03:59Speaker 14: fucking incredible, dude, Hang on the I mean you, I
- 1:04:07Speaker 14: just always have to say, like you.
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: The way we're talking about all these guys is how
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: I think about you with your rap battles like you have.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: You've had those experiences, whether or not you you view
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: them that way like you.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: Hey, everybody, it's vibs And this is my p s
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: A to remind you that golf season is officially here,
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: whether you end up in the fairway or in the woods.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Fire up your round this spring with the official shot
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: of golf, fireball cinnamon whiskey. Slip a couple of minis
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: in your bag for you and the boys so that
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: no matter how you hit them, you're still having a
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: killer day out on the course. Ignite the fairways with
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: fireball cinnamon whiskey.
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: As as hard as any comic has ever like killed
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: a comedy club or theater, I think that pales in
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: comparison to like a rap battle assassination to get like
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: to have the crowd going like oh yes, like every
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: punchline you're basically doing comedy some way and then but
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: every punchline gets a reaction like a fucking slam dunk contest.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Everything is the crowd like physically jumping around.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: It and you only say it one time too, it's crazy.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: So there's this like unexpectedness to it. It's like even
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: more living in the moment, just like trying to capture that.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: I can't imagine you. Are you ever nervous? Ever? What
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: do you mean when I'm doing those No, no, no,
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: just I feel to come down from that is be
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: like there's nothing in the world that once I could
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: do that, once I could once I can win multiple tournaments.
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: At that, I would be like, I'm not afraid of
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: anything ever again, definitely not like any type of public
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: speaking up and you can like even if it sucks,
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: like I don't, I.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Just don't give a fun right.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: Yeah, when he did the upfronts, he was like this
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: is the He's like, this is the least nervous I've
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: ever been in my Yeah, Like like if I had.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: To do the upfronts.
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: I would have been like, I would have been like
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: nervous about it and been like, Fuck, how's this gonna go.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: If I was you, I'd be like and even if
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: I did bomb, I'd be like.
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: But I know if I put the effort in, I
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: could make the greatest fucking shit like ever because I'd
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: done it before.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: It wrap battles so exactly.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: It's not like I not that I didn't care about
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: the sponsors in the audience, but.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: You didn't I believe that nineteen year old finance dudes.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: Yeah, they send with like all barstool events.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Dude. We had it with whistle Pig.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: We were promoting like the fucking we had like a
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: ready to drink can we first did with them before
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: we did a whiskey and and it bombed. They didn't bomb.
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: It wasn't anything to do with us. It was like
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: they hadn't like factored in like the price of canning.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: I forget there was some distribution.
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: They they couldn't sell it in like thirty five states
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: in America.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: It's only fifty.
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: But we went to they were like, all right, this
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: is gonna be a big thing, Like we've done this
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: with Pink Whitney.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: This is like how you get people to buy. You
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: go to toun, to.
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: Distributors and all the ship and you kind of just
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: like basically suck all their dicks, of course.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: And so we're at this like fucking event in Boston forever, and.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: Uh like we're like, all right, we gotta fucking gear
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: up like this all we're gonna get rich. Dude, like
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: fucking sell tons of ready to drinks and we gotta
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: go fucking just smooth everybody right now. And then we
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: get there and fucking no one was in a position
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: of powers like dude, just a big fan.
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: Made it that Someone's like, yo, I've been reading you
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: since two thousand and nine.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: I'm like, get out of here, Broa, where's your boss?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: I am the bull nothing.
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: That's what we need, though, I do think, uh, what
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: is cool is like sometimes you forget, or at least
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: I forget that I'm comparing myself to some guys who
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: are like fifty fifty five years old, who have like
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: twenty years of experience and all that shit on you.
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: And I think we'll also get to a point where
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: stoolies who started reading when they were like twenty five
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: will be like forty five fifty years old, and then
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: they become hopefully like.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: The CEOs or the pop the.
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: Decision makers, and then they're like yes for barstool, like
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: we're not going to worry about the risk. I know,
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: I do trust these guys and hopefully like all of
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: our best days are ahead of us because of shit
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: like that.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: All you have to do is literally just keep doing it, right,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Just just just don't stop doing long as I That's
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: really all it comes down to is just don't stop
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: doing it. That's the only way to lose doing any
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: of this shit really stopping or like getting in your
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: own head or like spooking yourself out.
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: Just like keep doing it. Put one foot in front
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: of the other, like you will wind up.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: With that shit.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: There was like the beginning, I think I was like,
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: especially writing, I was like I'm really good at this
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: and I really love doing this, and there was enough
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: praise and I was like yes, fuck yeah, And then
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: there was like a lull where it was like this
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: is hard. Life gets hard. Personal shit gets hard, and
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: then like you come out of it where you're like, well,
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: if I can keep doing it through that, I can
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: just keep doing it forever and I keep doing it forever.
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: I saw the other day BuzzFeed is down like two
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: like pennies.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Yeah, they they're down like fired, like ninety percent of
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: their stead They're down like ninety eight percent over the year.
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: And then Advice too, Advice has Vice is like broke,
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: and so's BuzzFeed. And it's like those were our you know, competitors,
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: and it's just like there's none left.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: And we mean at a certain point that one you
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: guys had to have known, but you guys were gonna
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: outlast BuzzFeed. I don't know, it was like right now,
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: early on hear that early on, I don't think I
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: would have got I mean, they were fucking mass.
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: They were valued at seven hundred and fifty million in
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: like two thy eleven, and.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: They had like an office in LA that was like
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: the studio.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: It's like the.
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: Paramount lot, like the BuzzFeed lot.
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: I remember times when Dave was like, we have to
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: want like BuzzFeed when we started to lists.
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: Yeah, and there's still is like tricks of the Internet
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: that you have to do that ship.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: But like it very much turned out. We call those
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: podcast segments.
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: Now, Yeah, basically draft, let's do a draft, put it
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: goes backwards.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: We're gonna draft four things, We're gonna draft five things,
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: and we did it. We did it for a while.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Once BuzzFeed made that video of like the dude trying
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: fruit for the first time, I was like, yeah, this
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: is not the last. I mean, there's only so many.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: How many Disney princesses are you? Yeah, like, remember we
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: did that. We have what Barcelo employe are. Yeah, we
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: did it all.
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: We did all of the scummy ship you could. But
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: then you also just like keep you know, we lasted.
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: You keep on trying it.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Cockroaches here when the fucking nuclear bombs go off.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Dude will on that battle rap shit, Dude, I think
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I want to do another one. Bro, And I haven't
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: even really talked about it, but I'm trying to battle
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: this dude in February.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: And this is pretty much me like calling him out.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: This dude, dumbfounded dude. Let's go, I'll gell you, dumbfounded dude.
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: He's very successful. He's like in movies and ship like that.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: He's good friends with Anderson Park Like, he's this uh
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Los Angeles rapper. And there's an event that's a tribute
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: to my buddy Pat's Day who passed away and all
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the proceeds are going to go to his family and
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: ship like that. So it would be a very good
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: cause for us to do this. Do we do the
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Battle for free? Just go up like, have fun with it,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: crack some jokes on each other, you know what I mean,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: make it happen.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: I have not seen anything that is as cool as that.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: I would want a hundred go to that Toronto. Yeah,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: in Toronto, that's where the King of the Dot is, right.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so it would be the first event back since
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: COVID and ship like that, because Canaan's lockdowns have been crazy.
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: So uh for a good ass.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: Cause, dude, you know, if you don't do you're a
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: bad guy.
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: Really handcuffed the guy. He could be really busy.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: He's like.
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: If I were you, I know, I think when you
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: first started you talked about like you wanted to do more.
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: I would be the battle rapper and I would do nothing.
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: I would be insufferable. I would you wouldn't even be
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: able to have conversations with me, like, hey, what's up man?
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: You and Nate wrap battle? Oh my god, that was
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: the worst.
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: That was That was your fault because I know, yeah,
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: you loved it, nobody else in the world did. Because
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: when it originally started, it was it was I wanted
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: to make another song because I had so much fun
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: making the Tico and Dave's song.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: So I was preparing to make a song and then
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Nate was like, uh.
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: Nate was like, I'll just do it like live, and
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: I was kind of like the thing I was doing
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: was like going to be a song, and you were like, well,
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: you just got to do it live now, and I
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: was like, fuck, and the last thing I want to
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: be doing is live like reading off of paper.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Yelling at Nate.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: I think I think I literally run out of the office.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: It was bad. It was some of that.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: It was it was you were both so mean, you
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: know it.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Though I pulled a lot of punches, I was not
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: as mean.
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: He was meaner than you and I. He talked about it.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: We talked about it first, and I was like, we
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: can do this, but like, you know, there are certain
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: things people can't come back from, and it was kind
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: of like, we're not going to do that, and then.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: He did it.
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: So my advice to anybody is, if you're ever going
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: to be in the Battle of Rap, be as mean
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: as you possibly can, and also, if you're ever going
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: to get divorced, meat as you can't.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: He used it as a chance to say the mean
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: and ship, and he was like, that's fine because it
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: rhymes like it made it way easier to like just
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: say the mean ship without any nuanced joke.
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: And I mean, there was a lot of things that
- 1:12:58Speaker 8: I was like, if we really want to break this down,
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: that's not true and that's not real and that was
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: made up or whatever. But yeah, that's that's not how
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: the game works. So just be as mean as you
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: fucking can. Because there was a lot of things.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I like said I had fun with literally the only
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: person on the planet man hated it.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: We hated it.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Ronald was like, that was great. M dude, I respect
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: the art form. You guys at least stepped into the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: arena and that is its.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Balls to embarrass yourself as badly as no.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: One else who was who's talking ship would do anything.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: That's and that's maybe they're.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Smart for that. Yeah, honestly, that's a good decision. But
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: well now we can end it. But I really appreciate
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you guys.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Thank you guys.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: Great to hear about the fucking New York ship. The
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: fucking I mean.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: I hope you guys are are pumped for it. I
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: think you guys would be a big part of it.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: We can make a lot of ship happen here.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: Appreciate you guys.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: Thanks boys,
