- 0:21Speaker 1: at least what we know. at this hour. Really fascinating,
- 0:25Speaker 1: just amazing what has been achieved here. Also, the president
- 0:28Speaker 1: issuing a pretty explicit threat to the Iranians, telling the regime,
- 0:33Speaker 1: you better make a deal or else. The timeline on
- 0:36Speaker 1: that is running out. We'll get to the details of
- 0:39Speaker 1: that and the chances of making a deal all ahead
- 0:41Speaker 1: on this edition of Vince. So much to talk about.

- 2:24Speaker 1: And boy, I don't know about you. I just had
- 2:26Speaker 1: such a lovely Easter weekend. Our Easter mass was just amazing.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It was just so nice to be together. Everybody dressed
- 2:33Speaker 1: so well. The pews were packed. It was wonderful. It
- 2:37Speaker 1: was totally, totally wonderful. And just a reminder that in
- 2:42Speaker 1: the end, regardless of what happens, we win. We win. So,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you know, keep cool, my babies. It's going to be
- 2:48Speaker 1: all right. There's a lot developed this weekend. A crazy
- 2:52Speaker 1: message from the president of the United States on Sunday,
- 2:56Speaker 1: Easter Sunday, where he threatened the Iranians. He said, we're
- 2:59Speaker 1: going to we're going to destroy you and we're going
- 3:01Speaker 1: to get to that in just a moment. But I
- 3:03Speaker 1: want to start with an Easter miracle. And to help
- 3:07Speaker 1: tell this story, I now turn to this clip of
- 3:09Speaker 1: Kristen Welker from NBC's Meet the Press. Take a look.
- 3:12Speaker 4: An extraordinary turn of events. The United States has rescued
- 3:16Speaker 4: the second crew member who was in the US F-15
- 3:19Speaker 4: fighter jet shot down over Iran Friday. President Trump texting
- 3:23Speaker 4: me directly this morning, the rescue was an Easter miracle.
- 3:27Speaker 4: The enemy was large and violent. The rescuers were brilliant, strong, decisive,
- 3:32Speaker 4: and as cool as anyone can be. The Iranians thought
- 3:35Speaker 4: they had him, but it wasn't even close. And remember,
- 3:38Speaker 4: we got two, but couldn't talk about the first in
- 3:41Speaker 4: that it would have highlighted that there was a second.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Such a rescue has never happened before in so violent
- 3:47Speaker 4: an enemy territory. It is usually not done because it
- 3:50Speaker 4: is considered not doable. Such a great military like no other.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Adding on Truth Social, open the effing straight, you crazy bastards,
- 4:00Speaker 4: or you'll be living in hell.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I know that the stakes are very high, but there's
- 4:11Speaker 1: something very funny about NBC having to read that on
- 4:16Speaker 1: the air. Yes, we'll get to that message in a moment.
- 4:20Speaker 1: But the president of the United States sharing with Kristen
- 4:23Speaker 1: Welker and a lot of other reporters this weekend, he
- 4:25Speaker 1: was very chatty this weekend talking to a lot of
- 4:26Speaker 1: these reporters about the rescue of these downed F-15 crew members.
- 4:33Speaker 1: On Friday, the Iranians shoot down an American F-15. And
- 4:37Speaker 1: we moved very quickly. The American military moved very quickly
- 4:40Speaker 1: to rescue the pilot. But what was left was to
- 4:44Speaker 1: get that second crew member and to rescue him. He's
- 4:48Speaker 1: a weapons systems officer, a colonel. And he disappeared into
- 4:52Speaker 1: the Iranian mountains on Friday. He kind of, for his
- 4:56Speaker 1: own safety, he made an escape. They say he walked
- 4:59Speaker 1: a tremendous distance injured and was able to hide in
- 5:04Speaker 1: a crevice in the mountains until the CIA was able
- 5:08Speaker 1: to locate him. And as a result, we sent in
- 5:11Speaker 1: special forces, a massive, massive deployment just to rescue him,
- 5:16Speaker 1: which is the appropriate response to save an American life.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And the end of this story is a good one,
- 5:22Speaker 1: that we rescued him. He's out alive. And the president
- 5:25Speaker 1: says he's doing well. He did post to Truth Social.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We got him. We got him, he said. My fellow
- 5:32Speaker 1: Americans said, Over the past several hours, the United States
- 5:35Speaker 1: military pulled off one of the most daring search and
- 5:37Speaker 1: rescue operations in U.S. history from one of our incredible
- 5:40Speaker 1: crew member officers, who also happens to be a highly
- 5:43Speaker 1: respected colonel, and who I'm thrilled to let you know
- 5:45Speaker 1: is now safe and sound. This brave warrior was behind
- 5:48Speaker 1: enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted
- 5:51Speaker 1: down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer
- 5:55Speaker 1: by the hour, but was never truly alone because his
- 5:58Speaker 1: commander and chief secretary of war, chairman of the Joint
- 6:00Speaker 1: Chiefs of Staff, and fellow warfighters were monitoring his location
- 6:04Speaker 1: 24 hours a day, indiligently planning for his rescue. In
- 6:10Speaker 1: my direction, the U.S. military sent dozens of aircraft armed
- 6:13Speaker 1: with the most lethal weapons in the world to retrieve him.
- 6:16Speaker 1: He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. The
- 6:19Speaker 1: miraculous search and rescue operation comes in addition to a
- 6:22Speaker 1: successful rescue of another brave pilot yesterday, which we did
- 6:26Speaker 1: not confirm because we did not want to jeopardize our
- 6:29Speaker 1: second rescue operation. This is the first time in military
- 6:33Speaker 1: memory that two U.S. pilots have been rescued separately deep
- 6:38Speaker 1: in enemy territory. We will never leave an American warfighter behind.
- 6:44Speaker 1: The president proud of this and sending a message to
- 6:46Speaker 1: the Iranians that we can do this. We can do this.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You think you can stop us? You can. We can
- 6:54Speaker 1: come right into your country and we can pick up
- 6:56Speaker 1: our guys. We can get them out and we can
- 7:00Speaker 1: exert our will on you at any moment. Just another
- 7:04Speaker 1: reminder of that as these Americans are rescued. A lot
- 7:07Speaker 1: of people notice the timing of it. It was Good
- 7:08Speaker 1: Friday that this plane goes down. It was Easter Sunday
- 7:12Speaker 1: that this colonel was rescued. Amazing story. And the president says,
- 7:16Speaker 1: happy Easter to all on that message. And as he
- 7:19Speaker 1: said to Kristen Welker, it truly was an Easter miracle.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And speaking of the Easter theme here, apparently the weapons
- 7:29Speaker 1: system officer spoke over the radio as he was ejecting
- 7:33Speaker 1: from the aircraft. And he said, God is good. God
- 7:37Speaker 1: is good. Axios had some of the reporting here. They
- 7:42Speaker 1: said Trump said the headline is Trump says U.S. feared
- 7:45Speaker 1: Iran trapped during F-15 crew rescue. In the message here,
- 7:50Speaker 1: they said Trump said the weapons system officer gave a short,
- 7:53Speaker 1: unusual message over his radio, quote, power be to God.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But the specific, the actual, the specific quote, according to U.S.
- 7:59Speaker 1: defense official, was that the exact phrase was God is good.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, War Secretary Hegseth, used the phrase
- 8:08Speaker 1: God is good in an ex-post on Sunday morning as well.
- 8:13Speaker 1: So that's, God is good. That's the message, an Easter message,
- 8:18Speaker 1: is he's ejecting from this airplane, shot down over Iran,
- 8:22Speaker 1: not certain of what comes next other than his belief
- 8:25Speaker 1: in God. They say he's a religious man, this colonel.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And my guess is he spent quite a bit of
- 8:30Speaker 1: time in prayer over those three days as he was
- 8:33Speaker 1: moving in the Iranian mountains and looking for a safe
- 8:36Speaker 1: place to wait until he was rescued by American forces.
- 8:41Speaker 1: How did this go down? The New York Times had
- 8:43Speaker 1: a report this weekend that it was the CIA that
- 8:47Speaker 1: helped locate this colonel. They said the CIA found him
- 8:53Speaker 1: hiding on an Iranian ridgeline. They said the CIA, who
- 8:57Speaker 1: traditionally assists with efforts to rescue a pilot trapped behind
- 9:01Speaker 1: enemy lines, had developed a deception plan to buy time
- 9:05Speaker 1: to find the airman by keeping the Iranians away from
- 9:07Speaker 1: where he might be. according to a senior administration official.
- 9:12Speaker 1: The official and others spoke under the condition of anonymity
- 9:15Speaker 1: to discuss this. While U.S. officials did not initially know
- 9:19Speaker 1: exactly where the weapons officer was, they knew he had
- 9:22Speaker 1: moved from where his ejection seat had hit the ground.
- 9:26Speaker 1: They also knew he was injured, adding to the urgency
- 9:29Speaker 1: of the search. It's unclear exactly what the deception plan
- 9:34Speaker 1: involved or how successful it was, but they were able
- 9:37Speaker 1: to track this guy They say in the report here
- 9:43Speaker 1: that all Air Force fighter pilots and weapons officers are
- 9:46Speaker 1: equipped with a beacon and a secure communication device for
- 9:49Speaker 1: coordinating with rescuers. But airmen are trained not to signal
- 9:52Speaker 1: their location constantly and to restrict the use of the
- 9:56Speaker 1: beacon in case enemy forces can also track them. its location.
- 10:01Speaker 1: A senior administration official declined to describe exactly what piece
- 10:05Speaker 1: of technology the CIA used to locate the airmen, but
- 10:08Speaker 1: said the equipment used was unique to the agency. Well,
- 10:12Speaker 1: isn't this nice? A nice report about the CIA, that
- 10:15Speaker 1: the a great American pilot to get him out of
- 10:22Speaker 1: Iranian territory, out of the clutches of the enemy, instead
- 10:26Speaker 1: of the CIA being used as a part of a
- 10:28Speaker 1: deep state operation to target Americans and spy on us.
- 10:31Speaker 1: What a nice turn of events. Maybe it takes a
- 10:34Speaker 1: new president. Maybe that's the explanation for all of this. J.D.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Vance also noticed the Easter theme here. He said it's
- 10:43Speaker 1: one of the most amazing military operations ever. Congratulations to
- 10:46Speaker 1: everyone whose skill and bravery made it possible. God bless
- 10:49Speaker 1: you all, and happy Easter. And it's not just limited
- 10:53Speaker 1: to guys who are on our side who are saying
- 10:56Speaker 1: good things about what the military did here. Also, it's
- 10:58Speaker 1: Obama's DHS secretary, of all people. Jay Johnson was on
- 11:02Speaker 1: television this weekend saying this was more complicated than the
- 11:06Speaker 1: bin Laden raid, and it was a huge success.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Watch.
- 11:11Speaker 2: This operation for the first pilot and the second pilot
- 11:15Speaker 2: is a remarkable exercise, demonstration of U.S. military courage, technology, power.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I would encourage the president and the secretary of defense,
- 11:26Speaker 2: consistent with operational security, share as much of that with
- 11:30Speaker 2: the American public so that the American public can appreciate
- 11:34Speaker 2: what goes into this. This kind of operation is more
- 11:36Speaker 2: complicated than the bin Laden operation, for example.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Wow.
- 11:40Speaker 3: I'm not sure any of that.
- 11:40Speaker 4: That's saying something.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Wow, that's saying something, said Kristen Welker. So is that, Kristen.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So is that. That's saying something. So there you go.
- 11:52Speaker 1: So even Jay Johnson thinks it was an amazing thing.
- 11:55Speaker 1: And as Jay Johnson just said, he's like, you know,
- 11:56Speaker 1: I'd encourage the president to talk a little bit more
- 11:58Speaker 1: about this just so the American people get a sense
- 12:00Speaker 1: of how impressive this whole thing was. I've got good
- 12:02Speaker 1: news for you, Jay. President Trump is set to hold
- 12:05Speaker 1: a 1 p.m. press conference today. He announced this on
- 12:10Speaker 1: Truth Social this weekend. For those of you, if you're
- 12:13Speaker 1: listening to this podcast before 1 p.m., good news, 1 p.m.
- 12:15Speaker 1: press conference with President Trump today, Eastern Time. He said
- 12:19Speaker 1: that it was an amazing show of bravery and talent
- 12:23Speaker 1: by all. I'll be holding a news conference with the
- 12:25Speaker 1: military at the Oval Office on Monday at 1 p.m.
- 12:28Speaker 1: God bless our great military warriors. Now, there's been an
- 12:31Speaker 1: update since the president posted this. We just we got
- 12:35Speaker 1: an update from Caroline Leavitt last night that she said
- 12:38Speaker 1: by popular demand, this press conference has been moved to
- 12:41Speaker 1: the press briefing room. So it's not going to be
- 12:43Speaker 1: in the Oval Office. Instead, they're going to open it
- 12:45Speaker 1: up to a wider, a wider group of reporters who
- 12:49Speaker 1: now have a chance to talk to the president of
- 12:50Speaker 1: the United States. We'll see. what they make of that today.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But a big press conference with the president today as
- 12:55Speaker 1: he talks about this. And he's got a lot to
- 12:57Speaker 1: talk about. It's not just the epic rescue of this crew.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It's also the fact that Iran is on the clock.
- 13:05Speaker 1: They're on the clock now. And there's not much time left.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Here's the big message from the president of the United
- 13:11Speaker 1: States this weekend. This is the message that might have
- 13:14Speaker 1: caught your attention first thing Easter Sunday morning, 8.03 in
- 13:17Speaker 1: the morning Eastern time. The president saying, Tuesday will be
- 13:24Speaker 1: power plant day and bridge day, all wrapped up in one,
- 13:30Speaker 1: in Iran. There will be nothing like it. Open the
- 13:36Speaker 1: fucking straight, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Just watch. Praise be to Allah, President Donald J. Trump. holy,
- 13:52Speaker 1: a banger to start the morning on a Sunday. So
- 13:55Speaker 1: there's the president of the United States.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:58Speaker 1: How many, did you guys receive messages this weekend? Did
- 14:00Speaker 1: anyone else get this? I was getting text messages. Did
- 14:02Speaker 1: you see the president's messages? I was at family members
- 14:05Speaker 1: were chatting with me. We were just, I was doing
- 14:07Speaker 1: Easter phone calls, calling people and they were, but by
- 14:10Speaker 1: the way, did you see the president's message? This everyone's
- 14:13Speaker 1: chattering about this. My guess is in Iran, they're chattering
- 14:17Speaker 1: about this big time right now. There's a lot to
- 14:20Speaker 1: make here. There's two things that, well, three things stand out. One,
- 14:23Speaker 1: the bombing of infrastructure, as the president promises that's coming.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Power plants and bridges all wrapped up in one in Iran.
- 14:30Speaker 1: There will be nothing like it. Open the fucking straight.
- 14:33Speaker 1: That's the curse word on Easter Sunday morning. That's the
- 14:36Speaker 1: one that goes, whoa, you pause and you're like, whoa, holy, okay,
- 14:39Speaker 1: he means it. And then the praise be to Allah.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Just to be clear, in case you happen to be
- 14:45Speaker 1: confused for some reason, President Trump is not Muslim. That's
- 14:51Speaker 1: not what this is. That's not what this is. He's
- 14:57Speaker 1: telling them, you can praise whatever God you feel like.
- 15:01Speaker 1: You can call out, you are going to get blown up.
- 15:05Speaker 1: So you'd better make a deal. You'd better make a deal.
- 15:09Speaker 1: This is a message to the Iranians right here from
- 15:12Speaker 1: the president of the United States. And I would not
- 15:15Speaker 1: question his seriousness. Not for a moment. Not for a moment.
- 15:21Speaker 1: In fact, take a look. Here's the former CENTCOM commander.
- 15:26Speaker 1: This is General Frank McKenzie saying this weekend, the Iranians
- 15:31Speaker 1: better take him seriously here. Cut three. Watch this.
- 15:34Speaker 4: In our last 30 seconds or so here, General, bottom
- 15:37Speaker 4: line is the president says two to three weeks is
- 15:39Speaker 4: all that it's going to take.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Would you agree with that or is it going to
- 15:42Speaker 1: take longer?
- 15:44Speaker 6: You know, I always hesitate to put time on a
- 15:47Speaker 6: to put a timeline on a military operation like this.
- 15:50Speaker 6: But I would say the Iranians would be very well
- 15:53Speaker 6: served to listen to President Trump when he says he's
- 15:56Speaker 6: going to hit them because he's proven that he's willing
- 15:59Speaker 6: to do that. So that's the lesson I would learn
- 16:01Speaker 6: from his most recent pronouncement and from actually what we've
- 16:04Speaker 6: done in the war to this date. If the president
- 16:06Speaker 6: says we're going to do something, we're probably going to
- 16:08Speaker 6: do it, and it probably is good time for the
- 16:10Speaker 6: Iranian leadership to take note of that fact.
- 16:12Speaker 1: In that post, the president says Tuesday, Tuesday. What does
- 16:15Speaker 1: he mean by Tuesday? Well, specifically, the president said Tuesday,
- 16:19Speaker 1: 8 o'clock p.m. Eastern time, 8 o'clock p.m. Eastern time.
- 16:25Speaker 1: If you want to run that time through the Google
- 16:28Speaker 1: machine to get an answer as to what time in
- 16:30Speaker 1: Iran that'll be, you can, but you don't have to
- 16:32Speaker 1: because I already did the work for you. It's 3.30 a.m.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Wednesday morning in Tehran. 3.30 in the morning, Wednesday in Tehran.
- 16:42Speaker 1: That country's so backwards, they operate on half-hour intervals. It's
- 16:45Speaker 1: 8 o'clock p.m. Eastern time, 3.30 a.m. Tehran time. That's
- 16:53Speaker 1: the plan. That's the plan. And the president says he's
- 16:56Speaker 1: going to blow up bridges and power plants. If they'd
- 16:59Speaker 1: like to avoid that fate, they can make a deal.
- 17:02Speaker 1: They can make a deal. Now, the Iranian leadership, so
- 17:06Speaker 1: far as there is any sort of unified Iranian leadership,
- 17:09Speaker 1: they're spazzing out about all of this right now. The
- 17:13Speaker 1: guy who runs the parliament, who at one point it
- 17:16Speaker 1: was reported that he was at the negotiating table, his
- 17:20Speaker 1: name is Mohamed Bagher Ghalibaf. It's Ghalibaf, Ghalibaf. Here's what
- 17:27Speaker 1: he said on X this weekend. He said, your reckless
- 17:29Speaker 1: moves are dragging the United States into a living hell
- 17:32Speaker 1: for every single family. And our whole region is going
- 17:35Speaker 1: to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu's commands. Make
- 17:38Speaker 1: no mistake, you won't gain anything through war crimes. The
- 17:41Speaker 1: only real solution is respecting the rights of the Iranian
- 17:44Speaker 1: people and ending this dangerous game. Well, the president has
- 17:47Speaker 1: operated throughout this by respecting the rights of the Iranian people.
- 17:51Speaker 1: In fact, the president has resisted striking infrastructure targets in
- 17:56Speaker 1: Iran because he wants the Iranian people to have a
- 17:59Speaker 1: country left after all of this is over. He's trying
- 18:02Speaker 1: to stop the terror threat and he wants the Strait
- 18:05Speaker 1: of Hormuz to to go unmolested. These are very simple
- 18:08Speaker 1: things that he's requesting. And yet the Iranian regime is
- 18:12Speaker 1: acting like lunatics until the bloody end. Now, is that
- 18:16Speaker 1: the end of this story, that they're just going to
- 18:18Speaker 1: get bombed? Not necessarily. There's a very high stakes negotiation
- 18:22Speaker 1: going on right now. A very high stakes negotiation. Axios
- 18:26Speaker 1: reports this morning that Iran mediators, that would be the
- 18:29Speaker 1: United States here, talking to Iran, are making a last
- 18:32Speaker 1: ditch push for a 45-day ceasefire in right now. That
- 18:39Speaker 1: could lead to a permanent end to the war, according
- 18:41Speaker 1: to four U.S. Israeli and regional sources with knowledge of
- 18:44Speaker 1: the talks. The sources said the chances for reaching a
- 18:47Speaker 1: partial deal over the next 48 hours are slim, slim.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But this last-ditch effort is the only chance to prevent
- 18:53Speaker 1: a dramatic escalation in the war that will include massive
- 18:57Speaker 1: strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure and a retaliation against energy
- 19:01Speaker 1: and water facilities in the Gulf states, in the Gulf states.
- 19:06Speaker 1: President Trump told Axios on Sunday, one of his many
- 19:09Speaker 1: phone calls with reporters this weekend, very accessible president, the U.S.
- 19:13Speaker 1: is in deep negotiations with Iran and that a deal
- 19:16Speaker 1: can be reached before his deadline expires Tuesday night. Quote,
- 19:20Speaker 1: there's a good chance, but if they don't make a deal,
- 19:22Speaker 1: I am blowing up everything. If they don't make a deal,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I'm blowing up everything. How soon can all of this end?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Will the president talk to another reporter this weekend about that?
- 19:37Speaker 1: I've got updates for you on that subject. We have
- 19:39Speaker 1: a lot to get to. Also, we'll be joined today
- 19:41Speaker 1: by former Virginia Governor George Allen. He's going to be
- 19:44Speaker 1: with us coming up. Can't wait to talk to him
- 19:46Speaker 1: because he's trying to fight to prevent Democrats from reuniting.
- 19:50Speaker 1: elections in the Commonwealth and from stealing the entire House
- 19:53Speaker 1: of Representatives. We've got a lot to get to. Great
- 19:56Speaker 1: to have you here on Easter Monday. It's nice to
- 19:58Speaker 1: talk to you as always. Okay, let me thank one
- 20:01Speaker 1: of the great sponsors who keep all of this going.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Let's thank Helix Sleep today. You guys have Helix mattresses?
- 20:06Speaker 1: I love my Helix mattress. You've got to get the
- 20:08Speaker 1: Helix mattress. It's so good. Sleep used to be a
- 20:12Speaker 1: weak spot because I wasn't getting great sleep. And when
- 20:16Speaker 1: you don't get great sleep, you know, it's like it's
- 20:18Speaker 1: misery the next day. And when you have a crappy mattress,
- 20:22Speaker 1: what does that give you? Back pain? You're overheating at night?
- 20:26Speaker 1: You're waking up like all the time? You don't want that.
- 20:29Speaker 1: That all changed for me when I switched to Helix. Now,
- 20:33Speaker 1: I've been sleeping on this Helix mattress. Allison and I
- 20:35Speaker 1: love our Helix for a while now. And it has
- 20:38Speaker 1: been a huge upgrade. One of the biggest upgrades of
- 20:40Speaker 1: my life, actually. It's amazing. What I love most is
- 20:44Speaker 1: the balance. It's supportive enough to help my back, but
- 20:47Speaker 1: still comfortable. I used to toss and turn and now
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm out. I sleep like a baby. Sleep like a baby.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I love it. Helix sleep studies found that 82% of
- 20:57Speaker 1: sleepers increased in deep sleep. And I can feel that
- 21:00Speaker 1: every morning. Helix has over 20 different mattress models. So
- 21:05Speaker 1: you're not stuck guessing at all. My old mattress, I
- 21:08Speaker 1: didn't realize how bad it was until I got Helix.
- 21:10Speaker 1: It doesn't stand a chance against a Helix. Delivery was
- 21:13Speaker 1: free and easy. It showed up right at my door.
- 21:16Speaker 1: You get 120 night sleep trial, a limited lifetime warranty,
- 21:20Speaker 1: and the happy with Helix guarantee. It's totally risk-free. All

- 21:43Speaker 1: great sponsor of our show. Appreciate you. All right, let's see.
- 21:49Speaker 1: We've got the president's timeline here. So what's the plan?
- 21:52Speaker 1: What are we going to do? Well, he spoke to
- 21:55Speaker 1: yet another reporter this weekend, Rachel Scott over at ABC.
- 21:59Speaker 1: She had ABC these days. Yeah, she's at ABC. She
- 22:02Speaker 1: said she spoke with President Trump this weekend. He told
- 22:05Speaker 1: me the conflict should be over in days, not weeks.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But if no deal is made, he's blowing up the
- 22:12Speaker 1: whole country with very little off the table. What does
- 22:17Speaker 1: she wrote here? If happens, it happens. If happened, what?
- 22:21Speaker 1: If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn't, we're
- 22:24Speaker 1: blowing up the whole country, he said. I asked if
- 22:27Speaker 1: there's anything off limits. Very little, he said. Additionally, I
- 22:33Speaker 1: asked the president if his two to three week timeline
- 22:36Speaker 1: still holds. He said, quote, it should be days, not weeks.
- 22:41Speaker 1: It should be wrapped up in days because no sane
- 22:45Speaker 1: group of people could stand the punishment that's going to
- 22:48Speaker 1: rain down on them if it's not. I think the
- 22:53Speaker 1: key phrase here is no sane group of people. It
- 22:56Speaker 1: really comes down to how insane is the regime? How insane?
- 23:00Speaker 1: are these people, the ones who are left, the ones
- 23:02Speaker 1: who are still alive. How insane are they? The president
- 23:05Speaker 1: said this should be over in days if they were sane. Well,
- 23:08Speaker 1: we'll see. But he wants to get this thing done
- 23:11Speaker 1: and over with quickly. He wants to settle up. That's
- 23:14Speaker 1: been his goal throughout all of this. He wants to
- 23:16Speaker 1: settle up. And it's hard to blame him. It's hard
- 23:21Speaker 1: to blame him. We don't want to imperil any more
- 23:22Speaker 1: American lives. We don't want to have a situation where
- 23:24Speaker 1: we've got guys who are going down in F-15s who
- 23:27Speaker 1: have to be rescued with massive military operations to get
- 23:31Speaker 1: them out of there. What we want is to stop
- 23:33Speaker 1: the Iranian nuclear threat and we want the Strait of
- 23:36Speaker 1: Hormuz to be open. And that's why the president has
- 23:39Speaker 1: been saying over and over, he's like, look, we just
- 23:41Speaker 1: need the international community to step up. Because the truth
- 23:43Speaker 1: is we don't even need to manage the Strait. Let
- 23:45Speaker 1: other people manage it. We've got American energy. We'll get
- 23:48Speaker 1: it up and running and we'll be fine. The rest
- 23:51Speaker 1: of you, not so much. You better get the Strait
- 23:53Speaker 1: of Hormuz open. The president working very hard to do
- 23:56Speaker 1: those things. So we'll bring you updates as we get them.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But the next, I'd keep my eyes open. This next
- 24:01Speaker 1: 48 hours is going to be very interesting. And whether
- 24:04Speaker 1: or not Iran even comes to the table to try
- 24:06Speaker 1: and buy some time, as the president's deadline is, again,
- 24:10Speaker 1: that's Tuesday night, 8 p.m. Eastern time. If there is
- 24:14Speaker 1: no deal, the bombing begins. The bombing begins. So we'll
- 24:20Speaker 1: keep an eye on that. Also, things to keep an
- 24:22Speaker 1: eye on. Last Friday, I was talking to you about
- 24:26Speaker 1: Harmeet Dhillon among the people who I think would be
- 24:30Speaker 1: a perfectly good candidate to be the president's next attorney general.
- 24:33Speaker 1: There's a report out from The Daily Wire's great Mary
- 24:36Speaker 1: Margaret Olihan this weekend that Harmeet Dhillon is destined for
- 24:41Speaker 1: a promotion, but it is not to the attorney general
- 24:44Speaker 1: of the United States. Instead, according to Mary Margaret, it'll
- 24:48Speaker 1: be to the third highest position in the Justice Department.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Her scoop is this. President Trump plans to nominate Harmeet
- 24:56Speaker 1: Dhillon to be the Justice Department's Associate Attorney General this week.
- 25:02Speaker 1: This week, Associate Attorney General. Remember, there's the Attorney General
- 25:05Speaker 1: of the United States. Then there's the Deputy Attorney General.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's number two. So it's been Bondi, Blanche, and now
- 25:12Speaker 1: Harmeet Dhillon will be promoted to Associate Attorney General. If
- 25:17Speaker 1: the president decides to do that, it seems, according to
- 25:19Speaker 1: Mary Margaret, who's a very trustworthy reporter, that seems very likely.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Although I'll caution you, the one thing I'll always caution you,
- 25:25Speaker 1: even if that is President Trump's intention, it can change.
- 25:29Speaker 1: At any moment, it can change. I've had this, I've
- 25:32Speaker 1: been in this position before where I knew that the
- 25:35Speaker 1: president was going to nominate somebody by his own judgment,
- 25:37Speaker 1: and then he changed his judgment at the last minute.
- 25:39Speaker 1: And then I had to be like, well, all right, well,
- 25:42Speaker 1: my last report was wrong because the president changed his mind.
- 25:45Speaker 1: He can change his mind.
- 25:47Speaker 2: It's true.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Mary Margaret says that Stanley Woodward, who held that position,
- 25:52Speaker 1: apparently signals his resignation on Saturday. So we'll keep our
- 25:56Speaker 1: eyes on that. But Harmony Dillon, that's great news because
- 25:58Speaker 1: Harmony Dillon, you know, wherever she ends up, it's good
- 26:01Speaker 1: that we have her as a weapon working for us
- 26:04Speaker 1: in the United States Department of Justice. It's been great
- 26:07Speaker 1: to see her there at the Civil Rights Division. And
- 26:10Speaker 1: now she'll be even more capable. in the third highest
- 26:14Speaker 1: ranking position at the United States Department of Justice. Really, really,
- 26:18Speaker 1: really great news. And we'll keep our eyes on who
- 26:20Speaker 1: the president picks to be attorney general. There was some
- 26:22Speaker 1: chatter this weekend that he may keep Todd Blanch in
- 26:24Speaker 1: the role full time. We'll see. We'll see. The guy
- 26:30Speaker 1: already cleared Senate confirmation to be the deputy, so maybe
- 26:32Speaker 1: he'll clear Senate confirmation again to stay in the full
- 26:35Speaker 1: time position. We'll keep an eye on that. And then
- 26:38Speaker 1: one more thing for you. Actually, I'll hold on to this.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you about some left-wing conspiracy theories
- 26:44Speaker 1: from the weekend that were totally crazy. We'll get to
- 26:47Speaker 1: them coming up here in a few minutes. But I
- 26:49Speaker 1: want to get to what's going on in Virginia with
- 26:51Speaker 1: our guests here in just a moment. I want to
- 26:53Speaker 1: thank two great sponsors first, though. One is Fast Growing Trees.

- 29:48Speaker 1: All right. I'm happy to have joining us right now
- 29:52Speaker 1: the former governor of Virginia, George Allen, is here as
- 29:56Speaker 1: we fight to prevent Virginia from having its elections rigged.
- 30:00Speaker 1: He's a part of an operation called No Gerrymandering Virginia,
- 30:03Speaker 1: the website nogerrymanderingva.org. You can help support the cause there.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Governor Allen, great to see you again, sir. Nice to
- 30:11Speaker 1: have you with us today.
- 30:13Speaker 7: Well, good Easter Monday morning with you, Vince, and thank
- 30:16Speaker 7: you for having me on and trying to get the
- 30:19Speaker 7: word out that here in the 250th anniversary of our
- 30:23Speaker 7: Declaration of Independence in Virginia, which is a cradle of
- 30:27Speaker 7: American liberty, we're gonna stand strong against these monarchical elitists
- 30:31Speaker 7: out of New York, DC, and California from rigging election districts.
- 30:37Speaker 7: We need to preserve fair, honest, representative democracy. And what
- 30:41Speaker 7: they're proposing is everything from it, from being the best
- 30:46Speaker 7: in the country with fair districts to really, if this
- 30:50Speaker 7: gets through, the worst. And disenfranchising suburban federal voters.
- 30:56Speaker 1: You know, when we talk about this, I've talked about
- 30:58Speaker 1: this at length, but just to give people an impression
- 31:00Speaker 1: of this, how brazen is this election rigging operation? When
- 31:03Speaker 1: people say, when you use the word election rigging to
- 31:06Speaker 1: describe what happens in Virginia here, we're not using that lightly,
- 31:10Speaker 1: are we, Governor? No, we're not.
- 31:13Speaker 7: Presently in Virginia, we have fair maps And there are
- 31:17Speaker 7: six Democrats out of our 11, five Republicans. Abigail Spanberger
- 31:22Speaker 7: in her governor's race actually carried seven, seven of the,
- 31:29Speaker 7: or more, actually eight, eight of the districts. And so
- 31:33Speaker 7: if you rig elections the way they're trying to do this, taking,
- 31:38Speaker 7: for example, the Shenandoah Valley, which presently has Ben Kline
- 31:42Speaker 7: as a congressman, and the Shenandoah Valley community is a
- 31:45Speaker 7: similar interest, up and down Interstate 81 on the west
- 31:49Speaker 7: side of the Blue Ridge. They are divided five different ways,
- 31:53Speaker 7: and you have places like Buffalo Gap that are thrown
- 31:55Speaker 7: in with Arlington. Then you have all these rural areas
- 32:00Speaker 7: over by the Northern Neck Peninsula, Middle Peninsula, by the
- 32:04Speaker 7: Chesapeake Bay. These are all farm communities. They're going to
- 32:08Speaker 7: be taken in by and dominated by Northern Virginia. They're
- 32:12Speaker 7: suburbs of Richmond, east and also north and west of
- 32:19Speaker 7: the city of Richmond, and they're thrown in with Northern Virginia.
- 32:22Speaker 7: And so this is the densely populated Northern Virginia is
- 32:26Speaker 7: going to have five of the 11 districts, and they're
- 32:29Speaker 7: going to, again, squelch the votes and the voices of
- 32:32Speaker 7: people in rural areas. In fact, I want to commend
- 32:35Speaker 7: the Virginia Farm Bureau. They have come out against this
- 32:38Speaker 7: because they know this is harmful to the interests of
- 32:41Speaker 7: their members in rural areas. And so this is just
- 32:45Speaker 7: an abomination. It wasn't something that Abigail Spanberger ran on.
- 32:50Speaker 7: In fact, she had one time, not too long ago,
- 32:53Speaker 7: said that gerrymandering was detrimental to democracy. She was right
- 32:58Speaker 7: on principle then, but now they're switching around and they're
- 33:02Speaker 7: spending over $ 40 million. trying to vehicle and sucker Virginians
- 33:07Speaker 7: into giving up their voices.
- 33:10Speaker 1: The ballot referendum, the wording of the ballot referendum, is
- 33:15Speaker 1: asking voters whether or not they want to, quote, restore
- 33:18Speaker 1: fairness to elections. That's the phrasing. And so if you
- 33:22Speaker 1: don't know anything about this vote and you walk into
- 33:24Speaker 1: the ballot box— and you see that language and you say, oh,
- 33:27Speaker 1: I want to restore fairness to elections, it's a push poll.
- 33:30Speaker 1: In politics, we refer to that as push polling. And
- 33:34Speaker 1: yet it's a lie. It's not restoring fairness. It's stripping
- 33:36Speaker 1: fairness from elections. How does ballot language like that get
- 33:40Speaker 1: allowed in the first place?
- 33:42Speaker 7: Well, because the Democrats have complete control of the House delegates,
- 33:46Speaker 7: the state Senate and Governor Spanberger could have actually amended
- 33:49Speaker 7: that to say that, wait a second, this.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Is not accurate.
- 33:56Speaker 7: Impartial, neutral language. In fact, Vince, thanks for bringing this
- 34:00Speaker 7: up because this is part of the whole deception and
- 34:02Speaker 7: deceitfulness of this campaign. We have fairness, and it's not
- 34:07Speaker 7: just me saying this. There's a group called the Princeton
- 34:11Speaker 7: Redistricting Project, and they rate and grade every state as
- 34:16Speaker 7: far as their districting. And Virginia is one of four
- 34:20Speaker 7: states that has an A grade, as does Arizona and
- 34:23Speaker 7: just a couple others. And so we have fair districts
- 34:27Speaker 7: right now. They're compact, contiguous. The community is of similar interest.
- 34:31Speaker 7: In the event that this proposal passes, it's destroying. It's
- 34:35Speaker 7: not restoring. It is destroying fair representation. And it is
- 34:42Speaker 7: harming the people of Virginia under the guise that, well, gosh,
- 34:46Speaker 7: we don't like what Texas did and we don't like
- 34:48Speaker 7: what Missouri did. And I don't like what Texas did
- 34:52Speaker 7: or Missouri or North Carolina or California. I like to
- 34:55Speaker 7: look at the people, the leaders who actually stuck to
- 34:58Speaker 7: principle in Indiana and South Carolina and Kansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire,
- 35:04Speaker 7: and most famous was the Indiana crew that said, no,
- 35:07Speaker 7: we're not going to do this abnormal, extreme, mid-decade gerrymandering.
- 35:12Speaker 7: And they took a lot of heat for it, but
- 35:14Speaker 7: they stuck to principle. And there's a lot of hypocrisy
- 35:17Speaker 7: and situational principles these days. And so Virginia, though, is
- 35:22Speaker 7: different than all these states in that just a little
- 35:26Speaker 7: over five years ago, 66% of the voters in 2020
- 35:32Speaker 7: voted to take this redistricting out of the hands of conniving,
- 35:37Speaker 7: self-interested politicians and say that an independent bipartisan commission will
- 35:42Speaker 7: decide districts. And so ours is different than other states.
- 35:48Speaker 7: And so we have a higher standard and that's why
- 35:50Speaker 7: They're trying to amend the Constitution, which was supported bipartisanly
- 35:55Speaker 7: across all of Virginia just a few years ago. And
- 35:59Speaker 7: they're trying to sucker them or inveigle them into saying, oh,
- 36:02Speaker 7: we're going to suspend it temporarily. It's six years, suspending
- 36:08Speaker 7: fair elections for six years for Congress. Six years. Six
- 36:13Speaker 7: years is an entire U.S. senator's term.
- 36:15Speaker 1: And it won't be. And it won't be temporary. They're
- 36:17Speaker 1: lying about that. They intend to make it permanent. And
- 36:20Speaker 1: so and let me just register that I we should
- 36:23Speaker 1: agree to disagree on what happened in Texas and Indiana,
- 36:25Speaker 1: because I think what Texas did was heroic. And the
- 36:28Speaker 1: reason I say that and the reason I take these
- 36:31Speaker 1: issues so differently, I don't think it's hypocrisy. is because
- 36:34Speaker 1: I think the left has so many ill-gotten seats across
- 36:37Speaker 1: our country right now that you have to find ways
- 36:40Speaker 1: to fight back against them. I mean, just with the
- 36:42Speaker 1: amount of illegal aliens they've allowed to pour into the country,
- 36:45Speaker 1: and then they pad their congressional district numbers using that,
- 36:48Speaker 1: that's an abomination. You remember, Governor, the 2020 census overcounted
- 36:53Speaker 1: Democrat states dramatically and undercounted Republican states dramatically. As a result,
- 36:58Speaker 1: Democrats have ill-gotten power in the House of Representatives.
- 37:01Speaker 7: Vince, I understand all that. And the way to solve
- 37:04Speaker 7: that is in the next census. And the next census
- 37:07Speaker 7: makes sure that we are properly counting the people in
- 37:11Speaker 7: our country and not whether one's illegal or legal. Those
- 37:17Speaker 7: illegals should not be counted as part of the census.
- 37:20Speaker 7: That's the way that California would be losing even more
- 37:22Speaker 7: seats if they didn't count illegal immigrants or illegal residents
- 37:28Speaker 7: in their state. So All that should be solved, in
- 37:31Speaker 7: my view. We disagree on this. I think the remedy
- 37:35Speaker 7: is in the next census, not in this, I think,
- 37:39Speaker 7: abnormal mid-decade redistricting and gerrymandering. But that's the excuse that
- 37:46Speaker 7: the Democrats are using here in Virginia. I'm not going
- 37:50Speaker 7: to say, well, I don't want to say what their
- 37:51Speaker 7: tactics are because I don't want to repeat what the
- 37:53Speaker 7: enemy or the opposition says. But there's no.
- 38:00Speaker 7: Reason with integrity for anyone, especially in Virginia, to say
- 38:06Speaker 7: that this ought to be done and rushed through. This
- 38:08Speaker 7: is not the proper way to amend the Constitution in Virginia.
- 38:12Speaker 7: They ran this through just a couple days before final voting.
- 38:17Speaker 7: In Virginia, we don't have election day. We have election
- 38:19Speaker 7: season for 45 days. There wasn't anybody running for statewide
- 38:24Speaker 7: office or the House of Delegates last year that said, hey,
- 38:27Speaker 7: elect me and we're going to jerry-rig districts. so that
- 38:30Speaker 7: there's only 9% of conservative representation in Congress in Virginia,
- 38:35Speaker 7: and 92% or 91% will be liberal Democrats. And so
- 38:40Speaker 7: they're trying to ram this through. There's other constitutional amendments
- 38:45Speaker 7: that are properly being done in Virginia. You may like
- 38:48Speaker 7: them or dislike them, but on things of marriage equality,
- 38:52Speaker 7: restoring voting rights for convicted felons.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Abortion. Oh, abortion.
- 38:57Speaker 7: Yeah, reproductive rights, as they call it. Now, all the
- 39:01Speaker 7: people running last year, Vince, and you cover this, obviously,
- 39:05Speaker 7: the Democrats are running on that and the Republicans were
- 39:08Speaker 7: saying like or dislike them. But those constitutional amendments are
- 39:12Speaker 7: on the ballot next November because they passed again after
- 39:16Speaker 7: the election in the exact same form. They're on the
- 39:18Speaker 7: ballot in November. They're not getting rammed through on April 21st.
- 39:22Speaker 7: No one's thinking of elections. It's not normal. It's abnormal,
- 39:27Speaker 7: and they're trying to ram this through.
- 39:28Speaker 1: They're trying to rig it now. so that they can
- 39:30Speaker 1: rig the November elections. Correct. So let's talk about the
- 39:34Speaker 1: amount of money that's being put into this right now.
- 39:37Speaker 1: There's a massive effort by Democrats at the national level
- 39:40Speaker 1: to rig these elections. The implications are really clear. If
- 39:43Speaker 1: they rig Virginia, they can steal the entire House of Representatives.
- 39:46Speaker 1: The margins are so thin in the House that just
- 39:49Speaker 1: stealing a couple of seats in Virginia is enough to
- 39:51Speaker 1: steal the entire House of Representatives. So- In light of that,
- 39:55Speaker 1: I'm looking at Hakeem Jeffries, I think, just spent something
- 39:57Speaker 1: like $ 20 million. He directed $ 20 million into Virginia for
- 40:02Speaker 1: this election rigging operation. Barack Obama's face is all over
- 40:05Speaker 1: advertising right now in Virginia. And Abigail Spanberger, the governor,
- 40:09Speaker 1: is pushing this. Talk about that effort by Democrats nationally.
- 40:14Speaker 7: Well, they're now up to $ 40 million in it. And
- 40:17Speaker 7: that's what I said earlier on, that this money is
- 40:19Speaker 7: coming from D.C. and New York and California, piling it in.
- 40:23Speaker 7: And if they can steal or cheat to get four
- 40:27Speaker 7: additional seats out of Virginia by disenfranchising people in rural
- 40:31Speaker 7: areas and the Hampton Roads, Tidewater area goes from three
- 40:35Speaker 7: to two with one added to Northern Virginia. They look
- 40:39Speaker 7: at it as a business proposition. If they had to
- 40:42Speaker 7: beat Jen Kiggins in the second district or had to
- 40:46Speaker 7: beat Rob Whitman in the first congressional district by not,
- 40:50Speaker 7: you know, in fair districts, it would cost them hundreds
- 40:53Speaker 7: of millions of dollars. So they look at it as
- 40:56Speaker 7: a bargain to be able to cheat with this. What
- 41:01Speaker 7: this evinces to me, Vince, is that any party that
- 41:06Speaker 7: needs to cheat to win elections must not have a
- 41:11Speaker 7: whole heck of a lot of confidence in the quality
- 41:13Speaker 7: of their candidates or the popularity of their agenda. Right.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I totally agree.
- 41:19Speaker 7: They have to do this.
- 41:20Speaker 1: So what are Republicans doing?
- 41:22Speaker 7: I actually, Vince, I've invited Governor Spanberger first to three
- 41:27Speaker 7: debates because none of this was discussed during the last
- 41:30Speaker 7: campaign that's being rushed through. People aren't aware of how radically,
- 41:34Speaker 7: significantly changed these districts are. Then Just Friday, I said,
- 41:38Speaker 7: all right, let's just do one virtual debate. It's like
- 41:40Speaker 7: your show, The Vince Show. Oh, heck, we'll get Corey
- 41:44Speaker 7: to produce it. But regardless, she could pick the moderator,
- 41:48Speaker 7: pick the time. She could sit in the governor's office.
- 41:53Speaker 7: She could sit in the governor's mansion, have a one-hour
- 41:56Speaker 7: televised debate on this issue. That's what leaders with integrity do.
- 42:03Speaker 7: and respect.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I would gladly, I would gladly moderate that. In fact,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I would welcome some lefty podcaster if they wanted to
- 42:10Speaker 1: join us and the four of us could all talk
- 42:11Speaker 1: about it. I'm perfectly fine with that. I think this
- 42:16Speaker 1: would be a worthwhile conversation, but I don't think she
- 42:18Speaker 1: wants to have it at all. I don't think she's
- 42:19Speaker 1: interested in a real conversation on this subject because her
- 42:23Speaker 1: record is so clearly hypocritical on it. I mean, she
- 42:26Speaker 1: came out last year and said she was against this
- 42:28Speaker 1: and now she's all for it.
- 42:30Speaker 7: Yeah, it was the first action of the General Assembly.
- 42:32Speaker 7: They had their priorities. Talking about affordability, the first thing
- 42:36Speaker 7: they did right out of the box is $ 5 million
- 42:38Speaker 7: to put, because it costs money to run an election,
- 42:43Speaker 7: and put forward this gerrymandering scheme. And so that was
- 42:47Speaker 7: their top priority, is to disenfranchise people in suburban and
- 42:51Speaker 7: rural areas to the advantage of self-dealing politicians, which is
- 42:56Speaker 7: exactly contrary to what Virginians wanted just.
- 42:59Speaker 1: A few years ago.
- 43:00Speaker 7: So I think that's a good idea. Although I said
- 43:04Speaker 7: as a moderator, Vince, I think you and another, say
- 43:07Speaker 7: a liberal, would be fine. But I told her, I said,
- 43:12Speaker 7: she can pick the moderator. She can pick the most
- 43:14Speaker 7: liberal moderator she wants. I care about the facts and
- 43:18Speaker 7: would simply ask, what's unfair about our current districts? And
- 43:22Speaker 7: the answer to that is nothing. These are very fair districts.
- 43:25Speaker 7: And so why are you doing this? Why are you
- 43:27Speaker 7: dissing her?
- 43:28Speaker 1: No, that's right. That's right. I don't suspect she'll take
- 43:31Speaker 1: you up on the offer, but she should. Governor, tell
- 43:35Speaker 1: me about Republicans. Obviously, you're fighting. I'm grateful for that.
- 43:38Speaker 1: There are Republicans who are in this fight. I know
- 43:41Speaker 1: Governor Glenn Youngkin is also getting involved in doing some
- 43:44Speaker 1: campaigning to try and get people to vote no here,
- 43:47Speaker 1: which is good. They have until April 21st, by the way.
- 43:50Speaker 1: That's this month, everybody. If you're in Virginia, vote no.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Go to the polls and vote no on this. What
- 43:55Speaker 1: are Republicans doing, though? You just talked about $ 40 million
- 43:58Speaker 1: in Democrat money. Are you seeing any seriousness about this?
- 44:02Speaker 1: I've seen some reporting to suggest that Republicans feel like
- 44:05Speaker 1: this is a fait accompli, that it's over. We're probably
- 44:08Speaker 1: going to lose it anyway. Let's keep our powder dry,
- 44:10Speaker 1: save the money for November. I think that's unwise. Are
- 44:14Speaker 1: you seeing money come into the state right now?
- 44:16Speaker 7: Not enough and nowhere near as much as the Democrats
- 44:21Speaker 7: are putting in. Our group, our No Gerrymandering Virginia group,
- 44:25Speaker 7: is a bipartisan group. One of them is Brian Cannon,
- 44:29Speaker 7: who went around. He's a Democrat activist leader for fair elections.
- 44:33Speaker 7: He and I went all over Virginia persuading Republicans and
- 44:37Speaker 7: Democrats everywhere from Bristol to Northern Virginia to Tidewater for
- 44:42Speaker 7: the constitutional amendment. Another is Chad Peterson from Fairfax, good
- 44:47Speaker 7: principled Democrat, who got knocked out, by the way, in
- 44:51Speaker 7: a primary because he actually objected to the excessive lockdowns
- 44:57Speaker 7: of Governor Northam during the pandemic and shutting down businesses
- 45:01Speaker 7: and caging people. So we're bipartisan. Now, there's more of
- 45:05Speaker 7: a pure Republican group, the Fair Maps group. Jason Meares,
- 45:09Speaker 7: our former Attorney General, is going all over Virginia. John
- 45:14Speaker 7: Reed's going all over. Tim Anderson. It's good that Governor
- 45:18Speaker 7: Youngkin is scheduled in the next week or so to
- 45:22Speaker 7: get on the campaign trail. The Republicans are not. I'm
- 45:28Speaker 7: going to say this, Vince. Our group doesn't raise as
- 45:31Speaker 7: much money because we're bipartisan, but we still are running
- 45:34Speaker 7: digital ads, and we're trying to get after the independent
- 45:37Speaker 7: voters and some of the reasonable Democrats, as well as, obviously, Republicans.
- 45:42Speaker 7: And to win this, it's going to take a vassal uprising.
- 45:45Speaker 7: These monarchical elitists out of D.C., They got tons of money.
- 45:50Speaker 7: And so this is going to have to be a
- 45:51Speaker 7: vassal uprising to win. And the polls show it's very,
- 45:55Speaker 7: very close. The world's controlled by those who show up.
- 45:59Speaker 7: And I've said, you know, unlike our war of independence
- 46:04Speaker 7: or secession from the British monarchy, there's not a real
- 46:09Speaker 7: shambo in Lafayette. And if they cross French fleet to
- 46:13Speaker 7: help it, we're going to have to win it on
- 46:14Speaker 7: our own.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I will add one more note, and you know about
- 46:18Speaker 1: the politics of all this, Governor Allen, which is the
- 46:21Speaker 1: role that President Trump might play in this fight. My
- 46:24Speaker 1: suspicion is that the White House is very attuned to
- 46:29Speaker 1: this battle. but they're contemplating the unique nature of Virginia voters.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Because the last thing that President Trump wants to do
- 46:36Speaker 1: is to whip left-wing voters in Virginia into a frenzy
- 46:39Speaker 1: to get them to show up and rig the elections.
- 46:42Speaker 1: So they're probably watching this a little bit from a distance,
- 46:44Speaker 1: but very concerned about how this plays out. And they
- 46:47Speaker 1: don't want to imperil it. I think that might be
- 46:49Speaker 1: the way to put this.
- 46:50Speaker 7: Yeah, I can understand that. But the RNC and the
- 46:54Speaker 7: Republican congressional committees and there's pro-Trump groups.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 46:59Speaker 7: They're spending millions of dollars against the Republicans in Indiana.
- 47:04Speaker 7: And it would be great to get more ammunition. They're
- 47:07Speaker 7: not going to give money to us because of what
- 47:11Speaker 7: I said just in the midst of this campaign.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:14Speaker 7: This interview, I should say, in this podcast about Texas
- 47:19Speaker 7: and commending Indiana. So my views are contrary to theirs.
- 47:23Speaker 7: But as far as the Fair Maps group and others...
- 47:28Speaker 7: I think you could fund them. Otherwise, you know, we
- 47:31Speaker 7: just don't have the ammunition. But we have the truth.
- 47:36Speaker 7: We have the issue. And we just need to be
- 47:39Speaker 7: able to counter the deceptive, deceitful ads that have been
- 47:44Speaker 7: running constantly for over a month from these outside groups
- 47:47Speaker 7: in Virginia.
- 47:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:49Speaker 1: All right. Well, stay in the fight. I mean, I
- 47:50Speaker 1: think the biggest thing is just keep making people aware
- 47:53Speaker 1: they need to get their butts out and vote. They
- 47:55Speaker 1: need to vote no aggressively.
- 47:57Speaker 7: Governor Allen- Vince, let me thank you. This is how
- 48:00Speaker 7: we have to do it. It's with folks like you
- 48:02Speaker 7: that people listen to, who people respect and motivate folks
- 48:06Speaker 7: to get out and to preserve representative democracy in our Commonwealth.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Well, sir, thank you. Thank you for coming on. And
- 48:14Speaker 1: if Governor Spanberger ever takes you up on that offer,
- 48:17Speaker 1: if you need my help, I'd be happy to be
- 48:19Speaker 1: involved in moderating. Again, the website is nogerrymanderingva.org. The former
- 48:24Speaker 1: governor of Virginia, George Allen. Thank you, sir.
- 48:26Speaker 7: Thank you, Vince.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Adios.
- 48:28Speaker 6: All right.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Adios. There he is. All right. Hey, let's see here.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I'm just keeping an eye on chat. What was it?
- 48:36Speaker 1: There was some activity on chat I wanted to get to.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Not everybody loved Governor Allen. That's okay. You don't have
- 48:43Speaker 1: to love Governor Allen. You don't have to love his position.
- 48:45Speaker 1: You don't have to agree with him on everything. You
- 48:47Speaker 1: know what I like? I just like that we've got
- 48:49Speaker 1: people who are fighting in Virginia. And the truth is,
- 48:51Speaker 1: you heard Governor Allen say it a second ago, that
- 48:54Speaker 1: most of this is grassroots energized. Most of this is
- 48:57Speaker 1: grassroots energized. The fact that, like, let me just go
- 49:00Speaker 1: over the data again. If you look at the current
- 49:03Speaker 1: congressional districts in Virginia right now, if you look at
- 49:07Speaker 1: them right now, the currently constituted six, five maps, in
- 49:11Speaker 1: the five Republican congressional districts, the early turnout is higher
- 49:16Speaker 1: than in the six Democrat congressional districts. That's because... grassroots
- 49:22Speaker 1: Republicans are showing up to the polls like crazy. That's
- 49:27Speaker 1: what's happening right now. The goal is to keep the energy.
- 49:30Speaker 1: This is why I'm not gonna stop mentioning this. I
- 49:31Speaker 1: do this at my own cost, by the way, because
- 49:34Speaker 1: I don't think the most interesting topic to the whole
- 49:36Speaker 1: audience across the whole country is gonna be the Virginia
- 49:38Speaker 1: election every single day. But I can't help but mention
- 49:41Speaker 1: it because the stakes are so freaking high. So if
- 49:45Speaker 1: you don't wanna hear about this, Well, then go somewhere
- 49:47Speaker 1: else because I'm going to talk about this until April 21st.
- 49:50Speaker 1: We're going to have to bring it up on a
- 49:51Speaker 1: routine basis because we need the grassroots energy. Governor Allen
- 49:56Speaker 1: just laid it out. We don't even have money coming
- 49:58Speaker 1: in from the Republican big money interests. These guys claim
- 50:01Speaker 1: they're keeping their powder dry. They're saving it for November.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I don't know what they're saving it for. My thing
- 50:05Speaker 1: is this. Do you or do you not know what
- 50:08Speaker 1: time it is in our country? What time do we
- 50:12Speaker 1: have left? Why are you sitting on your gold? when
- 50:16Speaker 1: you're not going to be able to use it at all.
- 50:19Speaker 1: It's so crazy. So now's the time. Now's the time.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Fight for your country. And vote no. This is right
- 50:28Speaker 1: now the recourse we have. It's been left in the
- 50:30Speaker 1: hands of the people. And if you judge the capacity
- 50:35Speaker 1: of the people to win based on the 2024 election,
- 50:38Speaker 1: you know it's achievable. Last year, as the president said,
- 50:42Speaker 1: it was too big to rig. Actually, two years ago now.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I can't believe it's 2026. Two years ago. Too big
- 50:48Speaker 1: to rig. You can do that again. In Virginia, we
- 50:52Speaker 1: need to make the vote too big to allow the
- 50:54Speaker 1: Democrats to rig it. Because the rigging that they're undertaking
- 50:59Speaker 1: right now is not for some future election far away
- 51:02Speaker 1: that we don't have to think about. It's for this
- 51:03Speaker 1: year's midterms. If we face plant in Virginia, Democrats are
- 51:09Speaker 1: very likely to steal all of it. And what do
- 51:12Speaker 1: they do when they have the United States House of Representatives?
- 51:16Speaker 1: They impeach Trump. They freeze up the nation's agenda. They
- 51:22Speaker 1: threaten ICE at levels that we haven't seen yet. They
- 51:26Speaker 1: bring us deeper into chaos. These people are not interested
- 51:29Speaker 1: in order. They're interested in chaos. And if you want
- 51:33Speaker 1: to be honest about the difference between order and chaos,
- 51:35Speaker 1: the truth is that's a spiritual war. What side are
- 51:39Speaker 1: you going to take in that spiritual war? What role
- 51:43Speaker 1: are you going to play in saving your country? You know,
- 51:49Speaker 1: in electoral politics, nagging works. I don't know if you
- 51:54Speaker 1: know this, but nagging works. If you're not in Virginia,
- 51:57Speaker 1: but you know somebody who is, you should be texting
- 51:59Speaker 1: them relentlessly. Just check in with them. Did you vote yet? Oh,
- 52:04Speaker 1: good to hear from you. Did you vote yet? Happy Easter.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Did you vote yet? Just keep it going. We need
- 52:11Speaker 1: everybody to show up and we need the truth out there.
- 52:14Speaker 1: We need the truth out there. We are looking at
- 52:16Speaker 1: a wall of lies that we need to blast through.
- 52:19Speaker 1: I told you early on in this process when the
- 52:21Speaker 1: early vote started in Virginia, I got a message from
- 52:23Speaker 1: one of our listeners who said her poor mother's in
- 52:25Speaker 1: Virginia and went to the early vote not realizing what
- 52:28Speaker 1: the ballot initiative was truly about. She read the ballot
- 52:31Speaker 1: language and she voted yes because she thought she was
- 52:33Speaker 1: doing something on behalf of her country. She was misled.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Not shocking given the wall of lies that was confronting her.
- 52:44Speaker 1: We have a moral obligation to tell the truth loudly
- 52:47Speaker 1: and relentlessly. We have to. Otherwise, they'll win. They'll win
- 52:52Speaker 1: with their wall of lies. Stay in the fight. Stay
- 52:56Speaker 1: in the fight. This is a very, very big year.
- 52:59Speaker 1: and the future of our country very much depends on it.
- 53:02Speaker 1: This is why I'm so insistent about Virginia. And I
- 53:04Speaker 1: do disagree with the governor about Indiana. I thought Indiana
- 53:06Speaker 1: was a totally wasted opportunity to get some of that
- 53:09Speaker 1: ground back. That's why we fought so hard about the
- 53:12Speaker 1: Indiana thing. I'm perfectly happy with Turning Point USA and
- 53:15Speaker 1: the rest of these guys spending money to defeat the
- 53:17Speaker 1: people who failed us in Indiana. I think that's reasonable.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I think that's a good way to remind Republicans of
- 53:22Speaker 1: what time it is. Our country is running out of it.
- 53:26Speaker 1: So let's fight for it. And let me end today.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I've got some Easter messages for you, including from space,
- 53:32Speaker 1: but let me just end today with the reminder that
- 53:35Speaker 1: I began with this morning, which is that if you
- 53:38Speaker 1: truly believe in the wonders of the resurrection, you know
- 53:43Speaker 1: that in the end we do win. We do win,
- 53:45Speaker 1: but we have to do it under our own power.
- 53:48Speaker 1: We have to actually contribute to that victory. We have to.
- 53:55Speaker 1: That's our calling. And speaking of Easter messages, I'll get
- 53:59Speaker 1: to left-wing lies coming up on tomorrow's episode and every
- 54:02Speaker 1: other episode going forward. We've got a lot of those.
- 54:04Speaker 1: The left was making up lies about President Trump being
- 54:07Speaker 1: sick this weekend. They said he was, I think he
- 54:09Speaker 1: was hospitalized. He wasn't hospitalized. He was talking to every
- 54:13Speaker 1: single reporter on planet Earth this weekend about his plans
- 54:16Speaker 1: in Iran, negotiating with those psycho-Iranians. But speaking of Easter messages,
- 54:23Speaker 1: there are two that I want to share with you.
- 54:25Speaker 1: I'll start with one from space. This one comes to
- 54:29Speaker 1: us from astronaut Victor Glover from space, talking about his
- 54:35Speaker 1: perspective outside of our planet on this Easter weekend. Take
- 54:39Speaker 1: a look at this.
- 54:41Speaker 3: These observances are important. And as we are so far
- 54:44Speaker 3: from earth and looking at, you know, the beauty of creation,
- 54:48Speaker 3: I think that for me, one of the really important
- 54:51Speaker 3: personal perspectives that I have up here is I can
- 54:54Speaker 3: really see earth as one thing. And, you know, when
- 54:56Speaker 3: I read the Bible and I look at all of
- 54:59Speaker 3: the amazing things that were done for us who were created,
- 55:02Speaker 3: it's You have this amazing place, this spaceship. You guys
- 55:06Speaker 3: are talking to us because we're in a spaceship really
- 55:08Speaker 3: far from Earth, but you're on a spaceship called Earth
- 55:12Speaker 3: that was created to give us a place to live
- 55:14Speaker 3: in the universe, in the cosmos. Maybe the distance we
- 55:18Speaker 3: are from you makes you think what we're doing is special,
- 55:21Speaker 3: but we're the same distance from you. And I'm trying
- 55:23Speaker 3: to tell you, just trust me, you are special. In
- 55:26Speaker 3: all of this emptiness, this is a whole bunch of nothing,
- 55:28Speaker 3: this thing we call the universe. You have this oasis,
- 55:31Speaker 3: this beautiful place that we get to exist together. I
- 55:35Speaker 3: think as we go into Easter Sunday thinking about, you know,
- 55:38Speaker 3: all the cultures all around the world, whether you celebrate
- 55:41Speaker 3: it or not, whether you believe in God or not,
- 55:43Speaker 3: this is an opportunity for us to remember where we are,
- 55:47Speaker 3: who we are, and that we are the same thing
- 55:49Speaker 3: and that we got to get through this together.
- 55:54Speaker 1: What a perspective. Well, for someone who didn't have anything prepared,
- 55:58Speaker 1: that was really quite extraordinary. What a perspective from space.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Looking upon the gift of this creation from outside of
- 56:07Speaker 1: it and realizing that's the spaceship I want to be on.
- 56:11Speaker 1: That one. That one. Suddenly, I wasn't so jealous that
- 56:16Speaker 1: they were looking at us from space. Suddenly, I was
- 56:19Speaker 1: really grateful to be here and not stuck in a
- 56:21Speaker 1: capsule floating in nothingness. And he was right. He referred
- 56:25Speaker 1: to it as God's creation. This is God's creation for us.
- 56:31Speaker 1: And that brings me to this message from the president
- 56:34Speaker 1: of the United States. My wife asked me this weekend,
- 56:36Speaker 1: she said, was that President Trump's only Easter message, the
- 56:39Speaker 1: one where he said he was going to blow up
- 56:40Speaker 1: the Iranians on Easter Sunday morning? And I said, no,
- 56:45Speaker 1: it was not. Here's the president's Easter message this weekend.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Take a look at this. It's a wonderful one.
- 56:52Speaker 5: This Holy Week, I'm proud to join with Christians across
- 56:56Speaker 5: the country and around the world to celebrate the most
- 56:58Speaker 5: glorious miracle in all of time, the resurrection of our
- 57:03Speaker 5: Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In his life, Christ displayed
- 57:07Speaker 5: true humility. In his death, he modeled true love. And
- 57:13Speaker 5: in his resurrection from the tomb, he proved that even
- 57:17Speaker 5: death itself will not silence those who place their trust
- 57:20Speaker 5: in Almighty God. As it says in Gospel of John,
- 57:24Speaker 5: for God so loved the world that he gave his
- 57:27Speaker 5: only son, for whoever believes in him should not perish,
- 57:32Speaker 5: but have eternal life. Eternal life, such beautiful words. This Easter,
- 57:37Speaker 5: millions of Christians all over the globe we'll be reminded
- 57:40Speaker 5: that because of what Jesus did on the cross, all
- 57:44Speaker 5: of us can live every day with hope in God's promise,
- 57:48Speaker 5: knowing that in the end, evil and wickedness will not prevail.
- 57:53Speaker 5: In the spirit of joy and renewal this Easter, we
- 57:56Speaker 5: also celebrate the extraordinary resurrection of faith and religion in America.
- 58:02Speaker 5: As I have often said, to be a great nation,
- 58:05Speaker 5: you must have religion and you must have God. In
- 58:09Speaker 5: churches across the nation on Sunday, the pews will be fuller, younger,
- 58:13Speaker 5: and more faithful than they have at any time in many,
- 58:17Speaker 5: many years. Religion is growing again in our country for
- 58:22Speaker 5: the first time in decades. Happy Easter to all. May
- 58:26Speaker 5: God bless you. May God bless the United States of America.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Our country is doing so well like never before. Thank you.
- 58:34Speaker 1: I love that. I loved that. And I hope you
- 58:39Speaker 1: loved it, too. What a nice message from the President
- 58:41Speaker 1: of the United States. I hope you had an amazing
- 58:43Speaker 1: Easter Sunday. And I am so grateful, as always, to
- 58:47Speaker 1: all of you for being here. The best audience anywhere.

- 59:37Speaker 1: is the definition of grit. Injuries have ended plenty of careers,
- 59:40Speaker 1: but instead you decided yours would only be a chapter
- 59:43Speaker 1: instead of the ending.
- 59:44Speaker 6: Welcome to the show, Daryl.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 59:46Speaker 1: That's a good intro right there.
