- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Happy Friday friends, Thank you so much for starting your
- 0:05Speaker 2: day with us over here at the River.
- 0:06Speaker 3: We are just getting settled. And Ricky Sanchez has those
- 0:09Speaker 3: three things.
- 0:10Speaker 4: Robert Erwin, Steve Irwin's son, debuted his modeling career. I
- 0:14Speaker 4: don't know if he's really gonna get into this as
- 0:16Speaker 4: a full time thing, but Steve Irwin, aka the Crocodile Hunter,
- 0:20Speaker 4: if you remember him, has two kids. Both are into
- 0:23Speaker 4: conservation just like him. Both have been in a lot
- 0:26Speaker 4: of his videos and movies that he had done and shows.
- 0:30Speaker 4: They both basically grew up around wild, crazy animals, so
- 0:34Speaker 4: they're both very into conservation. And now his son, who's
- 0:38Speaker 4: twenty one, grown man. He turns out he might have
- 0:42Speaker 4: a potential side gig in modeling, modeling underwear, because people
- 0:45Speaker 4: are going crazy for these pictures of him in his underwear.
- 0:48Speaker 4: He's got a bunch of like snakes and wild animals
- 0:52Speaker 4: around him, which obviously makes sense and obviously not something
- 0:55Speaker 4: that a lot of people would feel comfortable doing except
- 0:58Speaker 4: for an Irwin, because that's that's what they do. I'll
- 1:01Speaker 4: post some of the pictures up on one of seven
- 1:03Speaker 4: five the Rivers Instagram in our story so you could see.
- 1:06Speaker 4: But good for him, he looks great. Who knows if
- 1:09Speaker 4: he's gonna end up making this an actual side gig
- 1:11Speaker 4: or if he's just going to stick to conservation. This
- 1:12Speaker 4: may be a one time thing, but everyone's losing their
- 1:15Speaker 4: minds over it.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Well unexpected, the Michelin.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Guide is expanding to Tennessee. Their new American South Guide
- 1:21Speaker 4: is going to include Tennessee and five other states. Restaurants
- 1:25Speaker 4: in major cities and small towns across the region will
- 1:27Speaker 4: be considered for one, two, or three stars. All selections
- 1:30Speaker 4: will be announced later this year on a scale of
- 1:33Speaker 4: the stars, so we will see how this goes. Obviously,
- 1:36Speaker 4: this is really exciting for our restaurants here. We have
- 1:39Speaker 4: a crazy restaurant scene, a lot of new restaurants, a
- 1:42Speaker 4: lot of favorite local spots as well, So this is
- 1:46Speaker 4: actually a really cool thing for Tennessee. And Instagram is
- 1:49Speaker 4: getting rid of notes on posts and reels. You may
- 1:52Speaker 4: not even know what I'm talking about, because that's how
- 1:55Speaker 4: popular it was. Instagram expanded notes two feeds and posts
- 1:59Speaker 4: last July after seeing a big success in dms, especially
- 2:03Speaker 4: among the young users, so they excited to expand it
- 2:07Speaker 4: and it just didn't work out very well. It didn't
- 2:09Speaker 4: make the impact that they wanted. They're trying to declutter
- 2:12Speaker 4: the app so it doesn't seem like there's so much
- 2:14Speaker 4: happening all the time no matter what. They want it
- 2:17Speaker 4: to look a little cleaner, so they're getting rid of it.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Notes are going to remain in dms, though, because apparently
- 2:21Speaker 4: those are still used heavily with users. I'm Ricky Sanchez
- 2:25Speaker 4: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky getting back into the music
- 2:29Speaker 2: with Selena Gomez. Don't forget we've had preads ticks, not
- 2:33Speaker 2: bread sticks.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Preads ticks pressure breadsticks.
- 2:36Speaker 3: We should get some bread sticks. Predators tickets on the
- 2:39Speaker 3: way win them in ten minutes on.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Ricky Zach in the morning, seven five the River.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Let's say good morning to Laurie. She's in the car
- 2:47Speaker 2: heading to Murphysbury going to work. Laurie, is that where
- 2:50Speaker 2: you're heading?
- 2:50Speaker 3: I am tell us what you do?
- 2:53Speaker 5: May now, I'm your favorite neighborhood mail lady.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Ah the mail lady.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, yes.
- 3:01Speaker 4: How you doing today? I know obviously the storms and
- 3:03Speaker 4: the gross weather is not very easy for somebody who's
- 3:06Speaker 4: a mail lady.
- 3:07Speaker 5: You know, we did not get anything in Murphy's thorough nothing.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Yeah, we heard that. That's still shocking to me, but
- 3:16Speaker 3: good for you.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm so so sorry for you guys that they're
- 3:19Speaker 5: in Nashville. I've been following the weather closely.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it has not been great, lots of flash flooding,
- 3:25Speaker 4: but we're getting through it. Everybody seems like they're kind of,
- 3:27Speaker 4: you know, working through it. We appreciate you caring and honestly,
- 3:32Speaker 4: it's nice that you didn't have a really rough week
- 3:34Speaker 4: at work then, because obviously the mail doesn't stop.
- 3:37Speaker 1: No.
- 3:38Speaker 5: When you when it rains, the whole rise out of
- 3:41Speaker 5: your body is pretty much wet.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 6: What is it about male ladies that dogs love so much?
- 3:47Speaker 7: My Golden retriever loves the male person like they don't
- 3:51Speaker 7: even carry treats, like they've never gotten him anything, but
- 3:54Speaker 7: he just wants to chase the male lady down the
- 3:55Speaker 7: street every single day.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Well, most of us are they animal friendly, and we
- 4:01Speaker 5: will love the puppies, and the puppies know that we
- 4:04Speaker 5: will love.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Okay, here's another question though, what percentage of the dogs
- 4:10Speaker 3: at the houses like you and want you to get
- 4:12Speaker 3: the hell out of there.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Well, usually it's the little dogs that are evil. The
- 4:18Speaker 5: big mean looking dogs. Those are usually the babies.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Yeah, they're dopey. The big ones are always dopey.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Yeah, we Laurie.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I'm glad that your week wasn't too bad. We're gonna
- 4:30Speaker 4: make it even better anyways, because you are the first
- 4:32Speaker 4: color of the day and you're getting tickets to see
- 4:33Speaker 4: the prens.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Yay, I'm excited.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Good.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the game is this Sunday. You've got tickets. You
- 4:38Speaker 2: can come up and experience some of our lovely rain. Congratulations,
- 4:43Speaker 2: have a great day and a great time of the
- 4:44Speaker 2: game on Sunday.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Awesome, Thank you all so much, of course, Hanla Lie love,
- 4:48Speaker 4: are you jealous that she gets to live your dream?
- 4:51Speaker 6: Heaven's always wanted to be a Maleman.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I think when I retire from radio, I might pursue
- 4:56Speaker 2: a career. Okay, mail delivery you have to work more
- 4:59Speaker 2: than like three hours, I think.
- 5:00Speaker 1: So, Nicky, Zach and them.
- 5:05Speaker 4: We're going to preface this with the fact that we
- 5:08Speaker 4: are going to have bad storms this weekend as well,
- 5:10Speaker 4: and we want you to stay safe. So if things
- 5:13Speaker 4: get bad, make sure you were weather aware and you
- 5:14Speaker 4: were staying home and you are safe. But if it
- 5:17Speaker 4: ends up not being as bad as they predict right
- 5:19Speaker 4: now and you want to get out of the house,
- 5:21Speaker 4: Zach has some stuff for you to do this weekend
- 5:24Speaker 4: in Nashville.
- 5:24Speaker 7: My boyfriend is so oddly excited for this first one.
- 5:27Speaker 7: It is the perennial plant sale happening at the Fairgrounds
- 5:30Speaker 7: in Nashville.
- 5:31Speaker 6: So you can go and you.
- 5:32Speaker 7: Can find different plants and bushes that plan outside. You know,
- 5:35Speaker 7: April flowers, April showers, bringay flowers.
- 5:39Speaker 3: You got it the second time.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Yeah, So you can go plant your perennials.
- 5:43Speaker 7: You can go through the Nashville Fairgrounds at from nine
- 5:45Speaker 7: am to noon tomorrow.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Do you think.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Oh, I was gonna say, I think our one O
- 5:48Speaker 4: seven five the River Studio needs some plants.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Yeah, we need more.
- 5:52Speaker 4: We have to outside of the studio, but we need
- 5:54Speaker 4: some inside the studio.
- 5:55Speaker 6: So I'll be on the prow Please go.
- 5:57Speaker 3: David does love like plants and flowers stuff, doesn't he?
- 6:00Speaker 1: So he does.
- 6:00Speaker 6: He does. Also, this sounds right up your alley, Ricky.
- 6:04Speaker 7: The Murphy's Boro pop Rounk Flea Market is happening tomorrow
- 6:08Speaker 7: from noon to ten pm. It's at Hot Springs Brewery
- 6:11Speaker 7: in Murphysboro, and so they're gonna have a day filled
- 6:14Speaker 7: with great creativity and pop runk energy where they're gonna
- 6:17Speaker 7: have one hundred different unique vendors. They're gonna have food
- 6:19Speaker 7: trucks and live music all day lo and tickets only
- 6:23Speaker 7: fifteen bucks. If you want to go. It's at Hop
- 6:25Speaker 7: Springs Brewery in Murphy's Borrow. It's the murphy's Boro Punk
- 6:28Speaker 7: Rock Flea Market.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I like that Murphy's Borough so far, based on what
- 6:31Speaker 2: we're hearing from our listeners, has not had any rain.
- 6:33Speaker 3: So this is a nice outdoor thing to go do
- 6:35Speaker 3: this weekend.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Also, if you want to take the kids to the
- 6:37Speaker 6: Preds game.
- 6:38Speaker 7: On Sunday, it is Sunday Funday with the kids, and
- 6:41Speaker 7: they're celebrating Nash's birthday at the pregame. So if you buy,
- 6:46Speaker 7: like the kids, the specific Kids Club package, the kids
- 6:49Speaker 7: can go celebrate Nash's birthday party at the free game
- 6:52Speaker 7: before the game. Kill Tony is at Bridgetown Arena, which
- 6:56Speaker 7: is like the largest live podcast in the world. I'm
- 6:59Speaker 7: going tonight, but it's tonight and tomorrow night. And if
- 7:02Speaker 7: you haven't heard of it, I'm actually interested now after
- 7:05Speaker 7: reading about it.
- 7:06Speaker 6: So it's where comics come up.
- 7:08Speaker 7: They put their name in a bucket and then they
- 7:10Speaker 7: basically get the chance to perform one minute of comedy
- 7:12Speaker 7: in front of these judges.
- 7:14Speaker 6: And so it's like a live open mic night.
- 7:17Speaker 7: Yeah forms, Yeah, and the judges are the audience.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I watch the video audience is the judges. Yeah, judges
- 7:24Speaker 4: on stage.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Instagram all the time. I see their videos and they're
- 7:26Speaker 3: very funny.
- 7:26Speaker 6: It looks fun.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Also, Whiskey Jim, which is like an event that happens
- 7:31Speaker 7: downtown Nashville like once a month with really cool country artists.
- 7:34Speaker 7: They're doing the very first family friendly event called Juice
- 7:37Speaker 7: Box Jam, so you can bring the kiddos.
- 7:40Speaker 6: It's at the rooftop of Fifth and Broadway.
- 7:41Speaker 7: It's at Skydeck from two to five thirty on Sunday,
- 7:44Speaker 7: and it benefits the Family Alliance and Music, which is
- 7:47Speaker 7: a cool nonprofit organization.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Cool.
- 7:49Speaker 7: But our friend Mickey Geiten is going to be there,
- 7:51Speaker 7: so I feel like we have to go on Sunday.
- 7:54Speaker 6: And then, lastly, I can't let this go by.
- 7:56Speaker 3: They've been talking about this all week.
- 7:58Speaker 6: All day day in Columbia. This weekend We've.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Actually never been. Second, I have never been. We say
- 8:05Speaker 4: every year we're gonna go to Mule Day, and every
- 8:07Speaker 4: year something pops up or we can't go. And this year,
- 8:10Speaker 4: hopefully it's not rained out. I don't know though, because
- 8:13Speaker 4: it's not looking great.
- 8:14Speaker 7: It's not looking great, but I hope the rain holds
- 8:16Speaker 7: off so we can go to Mule Day. It's in Columbia.
- 8:18Speaker 7: They have like Mule Day festivities. They have a parade,
- 8:20Speaker 7: they have dancing competitions.
- 8:22Speaker 6: It's just so much fun. There are mules, there are mules.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Okay, real Day, Kevin, Mule Day. See, I was not
- 8:28Speaker 3: aware Mule Day until you guys started talking about it.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Kevin literally was like, I feel like you're making this
- 8:33Speaker 6: up right.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I felt like you're describing a dream.
- 8:35Speaker 6: To you or something.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Mule Day without mules.
- 8:37Speaker 6: So Mule Days tomorrow. Yeah, it's all week and long.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Oh oh okay, so it's real days to day. So
- 8:43Speaker 3: I don't know why. They probably need to change the name,
- 8:45Speaker 3: but thank you Zach.
- 8:45Speaker 1: For happening this.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Wee three things you need.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Good morning, and happy Friday. We made it to Friday.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:55Speaker 4: I got some weather updates for you tonight into this weekend.
- 8:58Speaker 4: The Tennessee Emergency Management Agent SEA has declared a Level
- 9:01Speaker 4: three state of emergency. We currently have twenty two weather
- 9:04Speaker 4: alerts in effect right now. We're looking at a weekend
- 9:07Speaker 4: of severe storms, So that means you need to be
- 9:09Speaker 4: prepared with your safe space equipped, watch out for standing
- 9:12Speaker 4: water because we already got a lot, a lot, a
- 9:15Speaker 4: lot a lot of rain the other day yesterday, so
- 9:18Speaker 4: the roadways are still not great. If you see flooding water,
- 9:22Speaker 4: please do not drive through it. We keep seeing so
- 9:26Speaker 4: many people trying to drive through the floodwater. You're not
- 9:29Speaker 4: gonna get anywhere. And even if you get to the
- 9:31Speaker 4: other side, that's not good for your car. You're gonna
- 9:33Speaker 4: regret it. So just turn around, don't drown. Go a
- 9:37Speaker 4: different way, even if it's inconvenient, it's gonna be better
- 9:40Speaker 4: off in the long run, I promise. We don't want
- 9:43Speaker 4: to rule out the possibility of pop up showers or
- 9:45Speaker 4: storms today, but the rain chance is low. There's a
- 9:48Speaker 4: strong cold front that's coming to move into our area
- 9:50Speaker 4: this weekend, which means that we can have some severe storms.
- 9:54Speaker 4: The timeline looks like mid afternoon going into the evening,
- 9:59Speaker 4: so just please be careful. We're looking at gusty winds,
- 10:02Speaker 4: heavy downpours and isolated tornadoes. Again, some areas can see
- 10:06Speaker 4: up to ten inches of rain when it's done by
- 10:08Speaker 4: Sunday morning, which is not great considering that we already
- 10:11Speaker 4: got so much rain. So please just stay weather aware,
- 10:14Speaker 4: keep your weather alerts on, and make sure that your
- 10:16Speaker 4: phone is on high volumes that you get those weather alerts.
- 10:19Speaker 4: It's very important. You just never know what can happen.
- 10:22Speaker 4: The FIFA president has announced that the US is going
- 10:25Speaker 4: to host the Women's World Cup in twenty thirty one.
- 10:28Speaker 4: This is gonna be the third time that the US hosts,
- 10:30Speaker 4: which is great. The United Kingdom will host the tournament
- 10:34Speaker 4: in twenty thirty five. It's gonna be a joint bid
- 10:36Speaker 4: that they did between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
- 10:39Speaker 4: For them to do that for twenty thirty five, I'm
- 10:41Speaker 4: really excited. Twenty thirty one, we're gonna have it and
- 10:44Speaker 4: you can get paid one thousand dollars to eat peeps.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Peeps and Easter go hand in hand, so this is
- 10:51Speaker 4: a big deal. Right now, they're looking for someone to
- 10:53Speaker 4: take on the role of Chief Peep's Officer. This is
- 10:56Speaker 4: a thing that a lot of different companies are doing
- 10:59Speaker 4: with their food products. They want to pay you to
- 11:01Speaker 4: test out their food. So they have a lot of
- 11:04Speaker 4: wild flavors that they're kind of mixing and matching with
- 11:07Speaker 4: trying to see which ones work and which ones don't.
- 11:09Speaker 4: So you would try them, take some pictures, rate them
- 11:12Speaker 4: on the cuteness and on the taste, because a cuteness factor.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Oh, it's huge.
- 11:16Speaker 4: It is a huge deal with Peeps. You'll obviously get
- 11:18Speaker 4: a grocery budget in order to buy them. Applications close
- 11:22Speaker 4: April fourteenth, so get on that now before you can't
- 11:25Speaker 4: do it anymore.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Chief Peeps Officer, the CPO.
- 11:28Speaker 4: The CPO, I'm Ricky Sauchez, and those are the three
- 11:31Speaker 4: things you need to know. One Reicky, Zach and Menno.
- 11:35Speaker 4: In the morning, if you're ready to get quote unquote smarter,
- 11:39Speaker 4: it's Zach's fax on one of seven five of the river.
- 11:41Speaker 6: This blew my mind when I read it this morning.
- 11:43Speaker 7: But did you guys know Nash, the National Predator's mascot
- 11:46Speaker 7: does more than six hundred appearances a year.
- 11:49Speaker 4: WHOA, there's only three hundred and fifty.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Five days in a year. Wait, how many say that again?
- 11:53Speaker 3: In sixty five?
- 11:56Speaker 1: God?
- 11:57Speaker 6: Anyways, he does more than six hundred. And there's your
- 12:03Speaker 6: fact of the day.
- 12:04Speaker 4: We all got quote unquote smarter.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Thank you, Zach, Ricky, Zach, and man in the morning.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Kevin's going through it right now.
- 12:13Speaker 3: I'm about you. I feel like Kevin.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Your wife keeps calling you your father's name, Gary, turning
- 12:20Speaker 4: into your dad.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I think it happens to all of us at some point.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I'm forty one years old.
- 12:25Speaker 3: It seems like a nice time to transition into adulthood.
- 12:29Speaker 4: When was that turning point though? What was that moment
- 12:32Speaker 4: that you realize you're turning into your dad.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I've been stressing about our garbage cans a lot lately,
- 12:37Speaker 3: and that's that's a big one for her. Whenever it's
- 12:39Speaker 3: like a little bit windy outside, I started to worry
- 12:41Speaker 3: about the garbage cans.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Kevin seven three seven nine one seven.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That is our question.
- 12:46Speaker 4: We want to know what's the first sign that you
- 12:48Speaker 4: know that you're turning into your parents?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Seven?
- 12:53Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Menno in the military and Nashville tell
- 12:56Speaker 4: us the first sign that you know you're turning into
- 12:58Speaker 4: your parents.
- 12:59Speaker 8: I now act like my father when I walk through
- 13:02Speaker 8: the house and there was life on and no one's
- 13:05Speaker 8: in those rooms.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah no, Yeah, your dad's a smart man. I do
- 13:08Speaker 3: the same thing. It's crazy.
- 13:10Speaker 8: No, he's crazy, but it's warranted. And I get it
- 13:14Speaker 8: now that I'm the adult. I have to pay all
- 13:16Speaker 8: the bills for so many years, I'm like, why are
- 13:18Speaker 8: the lights on and no one's here?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I'm with you, Hey, Terry, this is kind of different.
- 13:23Speaker 2: But do people in your household also like leave like
- 13:26Speaker 2: cabinets open.
- 13:27Speaker 6: All the time?
- 13:28Speaker 8: Oh? Yes, it drives me insane. You also just put
- 13:31Speaker 8: trash on the calendar, and I'm like, you're six five.
- 13:34Speaker 8: It takes two steps in the trash can.
- 13:36Speaker 4: This sounds like Kevin's house when he goes through in his.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Household, I always tell my wife and both kids like, uh, hey,
- 13:42Speaker 2: remind me later, I'll show you where our garbage cans are,
- 13:45Speaker 2: because none of them ever throw anything away.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I totally were like, all right, so you're a little
- 13:51Speaker 4: less crazy now, Kevin. Terry gets it. Terry, I feel
- 13:54Speaker 4: like you go through the same thing as Kevin, so
- 13:56Speaker 4: I can't make him feel as bad for it. But
- 14:00Speaker 4: you guys really sound like just old parents. Right now.
- 14:04Speaker 3: It's coming for you too.
- 14:05Speaker 8: Will come exactly absolutely.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Terry and I are.
- 14:09Speaker 3: On the same page about a lot of stuff here.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Thank you for calling, Terry. I appreciate you very much.
- 14:13Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 14:14Speaker 1: By Ricky Zach In the morning.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Sloane in Franklin. Are you ready to play Kevin Manno's
- 14:21Speaker 4: Game of the Day on one O seven five The Rock. Oh,
- 14:25Speaker 4: she's high, it's.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Game time baby. How you feeling this morning, Sloan?
- 14:30Speaker 4: I am feeling great.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I'm a little tired, but we're in good sirs.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Okay, that's great. You ready to try to win these
- 14:37Speaker 4: tickets to see Big Time Rush?
- 14:40Speaker 2: So ready They're here a sund Amphitheater July eleventh to
- 14:44Speaker 2: get those tickets, and if you win, I are going
- 14:47Speaker 2: to attend a screening of their first ever episode with
- 14:49Speaker 2: a Q and A with the guys.
- 14:51Speaker 4: In the Band's so exciting. Oh my gosh, I have
- 14:55Speaker 4: all my fingers crossed for Sloan to win this because
- 14:58Speaker 4: you're so excited.
- 14:59Speaker 6: I literally just cross my toes.
- 15:01Speaker 8: How my dad, friend and I have been looking at
- 15:05Speaker 8: it so we would be thrilled.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Okay, good, let's hope you And can you cross your
- 15:09Speaker 2: toes like mentally or do you have to use your
- 15:10Speaker 2: fingers to do it?
- 15:11Speaker 6: What do you mean?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:14Speaker 3: Like, can you just control your toes and do that?
- 15:16Speaker 4: It's let's play. The game of the day.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Starts right now, Sloan.
- 15:24Speaker 2: This week, Nintendo announce that the second edition of what
- 15:28Speaker 2: popular video game console will be available in June. Yes,
- 15:40Speaker 2: Nintendo Switch to coming soon.
- 15:42Speaker 3: You get this right?
- 15:43Speaker 1: You win?
- 15:43Speaker 3: I know Ricky would know the answer to this one.
- 15:45Speaker 3: We'll see if you do. Where does the current season
- 15:48Speaker 3: of the popular show The White Lotus take place?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Oh goodness, the finale is this Sunday night.
- 16:00Speaker 4: They weren't troppable, Sloan. You haven't been watching what.
- 16:06Speaker 8: I actually have not watched it. It's been among watch
- 16:08Speaker 8: list for a while. I'm gonna say.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that was amazing. Nice job.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah you win.
- 16:21Speaker 8: That was a very educated guest.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Well, congratulations, you pulled it out both of these questions.
- 16:27Speaker 4: I was getting really nervous free by congratulations.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You won.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Than you gotta tell big time Rush.
- 16:35Speaker 2: We said, hello, you're gonna see him July and you're
- 16:37Speaker 2: going to this screening with them with a Q and
- 16:39Speaker 2: A have fun.
- 16:40Speaker 8: Yes, rush, my.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Bestie and I are so ready.
- 16:45Speaker 6: I love you guys so much.
- 16:47Speaker 4: I'm really excited for you.
- 16:48Speaker 3: We're gonna put you on hold sloan so we get
- 16:50Speaker 3: all your infok Okay, perfect, Thank you so much, you
- 16:53Speaker 3: got it?
- 16:54Speaker 2: So zech do you use your fingers to cross your
- 16:56Speaker 2: toes or do you just do it with your your mind?
- 16:58Speaker 6: Just my mind?
- 16:59Speaker 4: Wow?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Okay, here we go, just after eight o'clock on this
- 17:05Speaker 2: Friday morning.
- 17:06Speaker 3: So happy it's Friday. Ricky's got those three things.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Bruce Springsteen has announced new music is coming with Tracks
- 17:11Speaker 4: two the Lost Albums. So this is going to be
- 17:14Speaker 4: a collection of eighty three songs on seven albums, seventy
- 17:17Speaker 4: four of which have never been officially released before. So
- 17:20Speaker 4: these are newer songs. Springsteen said in a social post
- 17:23Speaker 4: that during the pandemic he went back into his vault
- 17:26Speaker 4: and finished a bunch of songs that he had made
- 17:28Speaker 4: between nineteen eighty three and twenty eighteen. So a lot
- 17:32Speaker 4: of these are old, like really old, he said, somewhere
- 17:36Speaker 4: entirely ready to release but just never did for one
- 17:38Speaker 4: reason or another, and then other ones he had finished.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Of the seven albums, one will be somewhere north of Nashville,
- 17:45Speaker 4: which is a country inspired album Cool, which is really
- 17:48Speaker 4: really cool. So the full project is going to release
- 17:50Speaker 4: June twenty seventh. Be on lookout for that. If you
- 17:53Speaker 4: are a Bruce Springsteen fan, you're gonna be obsessed with this.
- 17:55Speaker 4: I already know that. If you're not, still a really
- 17:58Speaker 4: big moment because the Boss is he's the Boss, It's
- 18:02Speaker 4: he's iconic. So knowing that he's coming out with new music,
- 18:05Speaker 4: you should listen to it. Governor Lee has signed a
- 18:08Speaker 4: bill restricting cell phones in Tennessee schools. So this will
- 18:11Speaker 4: require school boards and governing bodies of public charter schools
- 18:16Speaker 4: and public schools to create policies preventing students from using
- 18:19Speaker 4: their cell phones, tablets, smart watches, or other wireless communication
- 18:22Speaker 4: devices during instructional time. Districts have the ability to decide
- 18:26Speaker 4: how to discipline students for breaking the rules that they create.
- 18:30Speaker 4: There are exceptions to the no phones in class rule,
- 18:33Speaker 4: like allowing students with disabilities to use them for learning,
- 18:37Speaker 4: or when a student is using a phone or smart
- 18:38Speaker 4: device for a classroom presentation, which makes sense. I'm actually
- 18:42Speaker 4: happy that they put that in there, and the rule
- 18:44Speaker 4: will take effect the beginning of the next school year,
- 18:47Speaker 4: So as of right now, you just got to stick
- 18:50Speaker 4: with what they got, and then next year when they
- 18:51Speaker 4: have new ones, you got to follow those new rules.
- 18:53Speaker 4: And Reese's has announced a peanut butter and jelly flavor,
- 18:56Speaker 4: which totally just makes sense. I don't know why they've
- 18:58Speaker 4: taken so long to do this. The new cups are
- 19:00Speaker 4: Rees's Peanut Butter and Jelly Big Cups and are available
- 19:03Speaker 4: in strawberry and greape flavors.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Uh.
- 19:06Speaker 4: They are going to be available this week nationwide.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Sounds good.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Find it wherever you find all the other Reese's Peanut
- 19:12Speaker 4: Butter cups. You can find them in standard, king and
- 19:14Speaker 4: snack size multi packs. They're limited time only. I actually
- 19:17Speaker 4: really want to try these.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I'm starving this morning, and peanut butter is like my
- 19:21Speaker 3: favorite food of all time, and that story just hit
- 19:24Speaker 3: me hard.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 19:26Speaker 4: need to know. Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morn,
- 19:30Speaker 4: Get that.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Man to God's Country. It's Morgan wall and one O
- 19:33Speaker 2: seven to five. The river tax season is upon us. Man,
- 19:36Speaker 2: We're getting close. And Ricky's got some tips if you're
- 19:38Speaker 2: doing your taxes yourself, things you should know.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Yeah, well, even if you're not doing it yourself, if
- 19:43Speaker 4: you're going to someone. These are the most common mistakes
- 19:46Speaker 4: that people make on their taxes. One of them is
- 19:49Speaker 4: when you're doing it typos. Yeah, typos are a big problem.
- 19:54Speaker 4: You need to double check all of the numbers. It's
- 19:57Speaker 4: very easy to mix them up. Well when you're typing,
- 19:59Speaker 4: really fat, very easy to keep the wrong nickly.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I totally get it.
- 20:05Speaker 4: I hate doing my taxes, which is why I haven't
- 20:07Speaker 4: done them yet. The other issue is forgetting to bring
- 20:11Speaker 4: multiple W twos or ten ninety nine's when you are
- 20:14Speaker 4: going to get your taxes done by somebody else. If
- 20:16Speaker 4: you have more than one job, you should have a
- 20:18Speaker 4: W two or of ten ninety nine for each individual
- 20:21Speaker 4: job that you have. Exhausting obviously, collecting all this paperwork
- 20:24Speaker 4: is really annoying, So making sure that you have all
- 20:26Speaker 4: of the paperwork that you need.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Big one Zach has like thirteen jobs, so that one
- 20:31Speaker 3: speaks directly. It's so exhausting.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Taking tax credits or reductions that don't apply to you.
- 20:36Speaker 4: This may be a mistake or on purpose. Don't do it.
- 20:39Speaker 4: The irs knows when you're wrong, which is a whole issue.
- 20:43Speaker 4: I don't understand why the irs to tell us, Yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 4: tell me what you owe me. Bruh, Yeah, tell me
- 20:48Speaker 4: what I owe you. You already know why am I
- 20:50Speaker 4: doing it for you? For you to tell me I'm wrong? Okay,
- 20:53Speaker 4: I digress. The other issue is missing the deadline. You
- 20:57Speaker 4: have to do your taxes by April fifteenth. If you
- 21:00Speaker 4: don't have time to do them by April fifteenth, please
- 21:02Speaker 4: make sure you file an extension prior to that to
- 21:05Speaker 4: make sure that you are still in compliance, because you
- 21:07Speaker 4: will owe them a fee if you do not do
- 21:09Speaker 4: it by April fifteenth.
- 21:11Speaker 7: I will say trying to file for an extension is extremely.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Confusing doing it on your own, because I've had like
- 21:16Speaker 4: an account and do it for me before.
- 21:18Speaker 7: I tried to do it on my own last year,
- 21:19Speaker 7: and it was so confusing trying to file for an extension.
- 21:22Speaker 4: So just do not figure it out, do it but
- 21:23Speaker 4: for the fifteenth, and then don't worry about it anymore.
- 21:26Speaker 4: And that's I'm mostly talking to myself.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And we mentioned this the other day, but I mean,
- 21:31Speaker 2: this goes without saying do your taxes.
- 21:33Speaker 3: A lot of people this year. Since there's all these
- 21:35Speaker 3: cuts in the government, people you can get away and
- 21:38Speaker 3: get away with.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Not filing their taxes this year. That is such an
- 21:42Speaker 2: enormous mistake. So yeah, Number one is just do your taxes.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Do them. Unfortunately, we all have to describe the fact
- 21:48Speaker 4: that the IRS should be doing it for us. That
- 21:50Speaker 4: is a hill I am willing to die on. The
- 21:53Speaker 4: IRS should do our taxes for us.
- 21:55Speaker 3: You can hear her pounding on the tech.
- 21:58Speaker 9: Now.
- 21:58Speaker 2: There should definitely be an easier way, and hopefully at
- 22:01Speaker 2: some point in the future you'll be using AI.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Who knows, I don't know. At some point this has
- 22:05Speaker 3: to be less archaic than it is now, because if
- 22:08Speaker 3: you know what.
- 22:09Speaker 4: I owe you, why didn't you just tell me? Why
- 22:10Speaker 4: don't you do all this to myself? Everything you tell
- 22:13Speaker 4: me it's wrong? And then I.
- 22:14Speaker 3: You go to jail? What the heck?
- 22:20Speaker 4: Daily double tap is something that everybody in Nashville could
- 22:23Speaker 4: just agree on.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah, especially right now the last couple of days, most
- 22:27Speaker 3: of us have been tuned in.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Whenever we get severe weather, there is one place we
- 22:32Speaker 4: all go to.
- 22:33Speaker 9: One of my favorite parts about living in Nashville is
- 22:36Speaker 9: that whenever there's severe weather, we trust a bunch of
- 22:40Speaker 9: guys that run a Twitter account and go live on
- 22:43Speaker 9: YouTube before we trust like the news station like Nashville
- 22:47Speaker 9: severe Weather. We trust them way more. They're just way
- 22:50Speaker 9: more accurate. It's insane. But stay safe, guys.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody goes to Nashville severe Weather. And this is
- 22:58Speaker 4: not to say that we don't also trust the meteorologists.
- 23:01Speaker 3: No ship to them at all, not at all.
- 23:03Speaker 4: We love them, we appreciate them. They work so hard.
- 23:06Speaker 4: But it is just a very unaqu nack.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Unique that was saying the words you need.
- 23:14Speaker 4: It's a very unique national situation that I literally asked
- 23:19Speaker 4: multiple questions about when I was told, oh, no, no, no,
- 23:21Speaker 4: you just go to Nashville City your weather on Twitter,
- 23:23Speaker 4: and I was like, huh.
- 23:24Speaker 3: And they're so on top of.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Everything and the tornadoes guys.
- 23:29Speaker 3: My wife and I met one of those guys. Our
- 23:30Speaker 3: kids used to go to school together. We were to
- 23:32Speaker 3: function and he was there. We were absolutely starstruck.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Isn't that crazy?
- 23:36Speaker 3: Crazy?
- 23:37Speaker 4: It's impressive what they do though, And I will say,
- 23:39Speaker 4: just as like she said, a bunch of guys who
- 23:42Speaker 4: just go live on YouTube, who tweets out a bunch
- 23:44Speaker 4: of you know updates about what's happening. I appreciate them
- 23:47Speaker 4: and they don't get paid to do it.
- 23:49Speaker 3: We can, we can chip in if you guys want to,
- 23:51Speaker 3: like they have like little go fund reception.
- 23:53Speaker 4: If you don't, then.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Ricky Zach in the morning.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Ver
