- Lucas: Welcome back to Learn Telugu with Fexingo. Episode 157. Luna, how are you feeling today? Luna: I'm good, Lucas. But you know, after our last episode on arms and legs, I've been pointing at my arm and saying నా చెయ్యి నొప్పిగా ఉంది just to practice. Lucas: That's great. And today we're going to keep working on those phrases. We have four key phrases we'll practice together. Luna: Perfect. I need all the repetition I can get. Lucas: Let's start with the first one: That means 'my arm hurts.' Say it with me: Lucas: Perfect. Now, the second phrase: That's 'my leg hurts.' Lucas: Good. Now let's combine with pointing. Say చెయ్యి ఇక్కడ ఉంది — 'the arm is here.' You can touch your arm when you say it. Lucas: And the leg version: 'The leg is here.' Lucas: Nice. So if someone asks where it hurts, you can say ఇక్కడ నొప్పి ఉంది and point. But today we're focusing on these four. Let's do a quick drill. I'll say the English, you say the Telugu. Luna: Okay. Lucas: My arm hurts. Lucas: My leg hurts. Lucas: The arm is here. Lucas: The leg is here. Lucas: You're doing so well. Now, let's imagine a scenario. You're at the doctor. Where does it hurt? What do you say if your arm hurts? Lucas: Exactly. And if they ask you to point, you can say Let's practice that exchange. I'll be the doctor. Lucas: Perfect. Now let's switch. I'll say the leg version. Lucas: Fantastic. You know, it's moments like this where I realize how practical these phrases are. If Fexingo has been helping you make real progress with Telugu, the way we keep this show ad-free is through listener support. You can buy me a coffee dot com slash fexingo. It's a small way to keep this going. Luna: Yeah, and we really appreciate it. Okay, back to practice. I want to make sure I can say both without mixing them up. Lucas: Sure. Let's do a mix. I'll point to my arm — you say the phrase. Lucas: And my leg? Lucas: Now, pretend your arm hurts. Lucas: And your leg? Lucas: Excellent. Now, let's do a quick story. Imagine you're walking in the park and you trip. You hurt your leg. You go to the doctor. What do you say? Lucas: Perfect. And the doctor might say, 'ఇక్కడ చూడండి.' Look here. You can respond by pointing and saying 'ఇక్కడ నొప్పి ఉంది' — but that's for another episode. For now, you've got these four down. Luna: I feel good about them. Let's do one more round of all four. Lucas: Sure. Repeat after me: నా చెయ్యి నొప్పిగా ఉంది. Lucas: Wonderful. That's our episode for today. Practice these phrases, and next time we'll learn more body parts. Until then, happy learning with Fexingo. Luna: Bye everyone!
