- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're picking up where we
- 0:06Speaker 1: left off with Bill Clinton and his transcript from his
- 0:10Speaker 1: trip to Congress. Question, we'll go back on the record. Mr. President,
- 0:13Speaker 1: during the last hour, there was a discussion related to
- 0:16Speaker 1: your book with Minority Council. I just wanted to read
- 0:20Speaker 1: the excerpt into the record and just a quick question
- 0:22Speaker 1: for clarification. You said, I had always thought Epstein was odd,
- 0:27Speaker 1: but had no inkling of the crimes he was committing.
- 0:29Speaker 1: He hurt a lot of people, but I knew nothing
- 0:31Speaker 1: about it. And by the time he was first arrested
- 0:34Speaker 1: in 2005, I had stopped contact with him. We understand
- 0:38Speaker 1: that Mr. Epstein was first arrested in July of 2006.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Can you explain the discrepancy? Bill Clinton's lawyer, are you
- 0:47Speaker 1: asking him to fact check his own book? Question, correct. Answer, okay,
- 0:52Speaker 1: I mean. He gets cut off by the person asking
- 0:55Speaker 1: the questions. Can you explain it or not? Bill Clinton,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I can't. I'm sorry. We made a mistake. Question. Thank you.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Now it's Nancy Mace. Question. All right, Mr. President, Congresswoman
- 1:07Speaker 1: Nancy Mace from South Carolina. Thank you for being here
- 1:10Speaker 1: with us for hours today. I know it's been a
- 1:13Speaker 1: long day and I know that we're going to wrap
- 1:15Speaker 1: up soon for you. Did you know one of the
- 1:17Speaker 1: witnesses who testified in the Epstein case that Epstein said
- 1:20Speaker 1: you like them young? Why would Epstein say that about you?
- 1:24Speaker 1: Clinton's lawyer jumps in. You're asking him to think about
- 1:26Speaker 1: why Mr. Epstein would say something about Mace cuts the
- 1:30Speaker 1: lawyer off. Correct. Why would Epstein say that about the president? Answer.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So she's asking you to try to be in Mr.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Epstein's mind and guess at what Mr. Epstein would have
- 1:40Speaker 1: thought about. Nancy Mace. Clinton likes them young. Referring to girls.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Bill Clinton. Well, first of all, that's not true. Nancy Mace.
- 1:50Speaker 1: What's not true? Bill Clinton. That I have any interest
- 1:53Speaker 1: in underage. Nancy Mace cuts him off. I didn't say underage.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I said young. Bill Clinton, but it's still not true.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, is an intern young? Bill Clinton, yes. Nancy Mace, okay.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, at my age, anybody younger than I am,
- 2:08Speaker 1: was young. Nancy Mace, did you know Jeffrey Epstein instructed
- 2:12Speaker 1: a witness to deny you were ever on his island?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, he didn't have to, since I was never there.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, did you ever travel to Zorro Ranch? Bill Clinton,
- 2:22Speaker 1: is that the one in New Mexico? Nancy Mace, yes.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, no. Boy, that's a lie. We have how
- 2:30Speaker 1: many witnesses that say that he and his family used
- 2:32Speaker 1: to vacation there? Nancy Mace. Okay, have you ever flown
- 2:36Speaker 1: on anyone else's private jet 26 times or more for
- 2:40Speaker 1: overseas trips? Clinton. I've flown as many miles on other jets,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but never with as many stops. Nancy Mace. How many
- 2:48Speaker 1: other people's planes have you used, like Epstein's, 26 times
- 2:52Speaker 1: or miles, etc.? Clinton. I don't know. I did with
- 2:55Speaker 1: Steve Bing, who's now deceased, and probably with four or
- 2:58Speaker 1: five others. Nancy Mace, okay. Bill Clinton, I'd like to think. Mace,
- 3:04Speaker 1: so maybe about a half a dozen times? Billionaires total
- 3:08Speaker 1: or so? Bill Clinton, yeah. Nancy Mace, how many dinners
- 3:12Speaker 1: did you have with Glenn Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein in attendance?
- 3:17Speaker 1: The lawyer jumps in. She's asking to the best of
- 3:20Speaker 1: your recollection. Bill Clinton, I have no idea. Question by Mace, okay.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Did you ever discuss sexual misconduct allegations made against you
- 3:28Speaker 1: with Epstein or Maxwell? Clinton, never. Question, did Epstein or
- 3:33Speaker 1: Maxwell offer to help manage or silence women who made
- 3:37Speaker 1: sexual misconduct allegations against you? Clinton, no. Question, did Epstein
- 3:42Speaker 1: or Maxwell ever offer financial support directly or indirectly to
- 3:46Speaker 1: legal defense funds related to impeachment proceedings or civil actions
- 3:50Speaker 1: against you? Clinton, not to my knowledge. Question, do you
- 3:54Speaker 1: think a young girl massaging a president is unusual? Lawyer,
- 3:59Speaker 1: are you asking his opinion? Nancy Mace, well, he was
- 4:03Speaker 1: massaged by a young woman. I'm asking if he thinks
- 4:06Speaker 1: it's unusual that a sitting president of the United States,
- 4:09Speaker 1: leader of the free world, that it's unusual. Speaker, so
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry, a young woman would be, are you talking
- 4:17Speaker 1: the instance of the back massage? Mace, yes, is it
- 4:22Speaker 1: unusual that a young woman would be massaging Lawyer jumps in.
- 4:26Speaker 1: That occurred while he was not president. I'm just trying
- 4:28Speaker 1: to understand. You said president of the United States. Nancy Mace,
- 4:32Speaker 1: former president. Lawyer, thank you. Just trying to make sure
- 4:36Speaker 1: that we're correcting the time frame. Mace, are you filibustering? Lawyer, no,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I don't need to. Mace, okay. Lawyer, I'm actually trying
- 4:45Speaker 1: to make sure that you gets cut off by Mace.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I speak pretty clearly. He said inaudible. Lawyer, once again,
- 4:54Speaker 1: you said he was a sitting president. Now another speaker
- 4:57Speaker 1: jumps in. Excuse me, excuse me. Could we just please
- 5:00Speaker 1: go one at a time? Thank you. Lawyer, you said
- 5:03Speaker 1: sitting president. I want to be clear so that when
- 5:06Speaker 1: he answers you. Mace, when you were sitting president, however
- 5:10Speaker 1: you want to do it. Speaker, the record is clear.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, is it unusual? The lawyer, objection. Bill Clinton,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I have no idea if it's unusual or not. Lawyer,
- 5:21Speaker 1: objection calls for speculation. Nancy Mace, I figured. Did you
- 5:25Speaker 1: ever think that all these women around Jeffrey Epstein or
- 5:27Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell was odd, unusual, weird, or creepy? Bill Clinton,
- 5:32Speaker 1: there weren't all that many around when I was there. Question,
- 5:36Speaker 1: how many would you say is not that many? Clinton,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I think on this big plane that was working long hours,
- 5:43Speaker 1: having two to four people on there, I thought was,
- 5:45Speaker 1: as far as I knew, they were all helping. Nancy Mace,
- 5:49Speaker 1: flight attendants and tank tops and jeans, right? Clinton, no. Mace, no.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Do you believe you were a victim of Jeffrey Epstein's
- 5:55Speaker 1: intel operation? Do you think that you might have been
- 5:58Speaker 1: caught up in some of what he was maybe potentially doing?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Lawyer jumps in. Excuse me, counselor, which question are you asking?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, I'm asking if, she gets cut off by
- 6:10Speaker 1: the lawyer, intel operation? Mace, some type of intel operation,
- 6:15Speaker 1: I'm just curious, because it's been speculated on today and yesterday. Clinton,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I understand. Mace, yes. that he may have been an
- 6:23Speaker 1: intel asset. Do you think perhaps knowing what we know now,
- 6:27Speaker 1: the proclivity of it all, that he may have been
- 6:30Speaker 1: targeting you as part of an intel operation? Clinton, I
- 6:33Speaker 1: doubt it. Nancy Mays, okay. In 2019, after he was arrested,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I guess this would be the second time. You stated
- 6:40Speaker 1: you knew nothing of Epstein's terrible crimes since you only
- 6:43Speaker 1: met briefly on only two occasions. Was this statement false?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Lawyer jumps in. Excuse me, counsel. Could you put in
- 6:51Speaker 1: the record? The lawyer, another lawyer jumps in. That's not
- 6:54Speaker 1: an accurate statement. Can you please share with us? Nancy Mace. Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 1: In 2019, it's reported by the media. Lawyer, which media?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Nancy Mace. This says this is the gets cut off
- 7:09Speaker 1: by the lawyer. Could you share a copy, please? Nancy Mace. OK,
- 7:13Speaker 1: Deli Beast. It says the title of this. Bill Clinton
- 7:16Speaker 1: failed to mention his intimate 1995 dinner with Epstein. Lawyer,
- 7:21Speaker 1: we can give counsel and the witness, Jack Emmer, a
- 7:24Speaker 1: moment to review the exhibit. Lawyer, well, we'd like this statement.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I mean, he put out the statement in 2019. Bill Clinton,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I don't know anything about that. Another lawyer, this time
- 7:36Speaker 1: for the Republicans, a full statement. Jack Emmer jumps in.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It'll be marked Exhibit 22. Same lawyer as before. So
- 7:45Speaker 1: to be clear, the basis of your question is a
- 7:48Speaker 1: news article with respect to the Daily Beast, as to
- 7:50Speaker 1: a dinner. Is that accurate? Nancy Mace, nope. It's a
- 7:54Speaker 1: question in the first paragraph, which reads, hours inaudible, Jeffrey
- 7:58Speaker 1: Epstein was arraigned Monday, on several sex trafficking charges. Former
- 8:03Speaker 1: President Bill Clinton publicly downplayed his relationship with the pedophile financier,
- 8:08Speaker 1: saying he knew nothing of the terrible crimes, since they
- 8:10Speaker 1: only met briefly on two occasions. And that's in the
- 8:14Speaker 1: Daily Beast, is that not? Nancy Mace, correct, which is
- 8:18Speaker 1: in your hand right now. Question right, that's what I
- 8:20Speaker 1: just said. Mace, yeah. Speaker, thank you. Bill Clinton, what
- 8:25Speaker 1: would you like to know? Question, my question is, by
- 8:28Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, you stated you'd only met Epstein in 2019.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You say you'd only met him on two occasions. Was
- 8:35Speaker 1: this statement false when you made it? Lawyer jumps in,
- 8:38Speaker 1: to be clear, this is a news reporting that is
- 8:40Speaker 1: saying that's what he said. Nancy Mace, did you make
- 8:43Speaker 1: that statement in 2019? Lawyer, would you put that in
- 8:47Speaker 1: that statement that he made? This is a news report.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It's double hearsay. Nancy Mace, no. Did you make the
- 8:53Speaker 1: statement in 2019 as reported by the media? Lawyer, so
- 8:58Speaker 1: you're asking whether or not he made the statement to
- 9:00Speaker 1: the Deli Beast? Mace, no. It says quote. It's quoting
- 9:04Speaker 1: him or his office, etc. Are you denying that you
- 9:07Speaker 1: made the statement? Lawyer, it's quoting a sentence. If you
- 9:11Speaker 1: put the entire statement, that's all we ask. To be fair,
- 9:15Speaker 1: give him the statement. not what has been reported on.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I have no idea what the Daily Beast take is. Lawyer,
- 9:21Speaker 1: the statement was released that was broader than this, and
- 9:24Speaker 1: they relied on only a portion of it. They relied
- 9:27Speaker 1: on only a portion of his full statement. Nancy Mace,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and that's the portion I'm focusing on. Lawyer, well then,
- 9:34Speaker 1: so it's actually a misrepresentation of his entire statement. Yo,
- 9:37Speaker 1: have you guys noticed what's going on here? The only
- 9:40Speaker 1: person that has his lawyers fighting the battle for him
- 9:42Speaker 1: during this transcript process is Bill Clinton. I wonder why.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, well, can you let your client answer? Lawyer, well,
- 9:53Speaker 1: can you ask it in a way that would make
- 9:54Speaker 1: it clear what you're actually asking? Mace, I made it
- 9:57Speaker 1: very clear. His statement said that he met with you Epstein.
- 10:01Speaker 1: The lawyer, is the broader question of what did he say? Mace,
- 10:05Speaker 1: he said he briefly met with him on only two occasions. Lawyer, no,
- 10:09Speaker 1: the Daily Beast selected that piece out. Mace, so you're
- 10:13Speaker 1: denying that the president made the statement? Lawyer, what I'm
- 10:16Speaker 1: saying is that there is an entire statement. that the
- 10:19Speaker 1: statement on which the president spoke to. Nancy Mace, I'd
- 10:23Speaker 1: like to provide it to the committee. Lawyer, we're happy
- 10:26Speaker 1: to provide that to the committee. Mace, okay, I would
- 10:29Speaker 1: like to ask the president this question. Was that a
- 10:32Speaker 1: false statement that you made in 2019 that you only
- 10:35Speaker 1: met with Jeffrey Epstein on two occasions? Lawyer, object to
- 10:39Speaker 1: the basis of the question. You're asking him about a
- 10:41Speaker 1: news article, not the statement he made. Nancy Mace, I'm
- 10:45Speaker 1: quoting him. I'm quoting the president of the United States.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Are you denying the president made the statement? Are you
- 10:50Speaker 1: denying he made the statement? I want to know. Lawyer, no,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm telling you that the president made a full statement.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You're selecting a piece of it. Let's put in the
- 10:58Speaker 1: entire statement that he made. Nancy Mace, I wasn't in
- 11:02Speaker 1: federal office in 2019. I was not part of this committee.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I was the state house rep from Goose Creek, South Carolina,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and I'm quoting open sources that I have, to the
- 11:12Speaker 1: best of my knowledge. I'm not rich with a bunch
- 11:15Speaker 1: of attorneys, okay? I'm doing the best that I can
- 11:17Speaker 1: to get the information that I can. And I'm asking
- 11:20Speaker 1: the president was telling a lie in 2019 when he
- 11:24Speaker 1: stated to the public he'd only met with Epstein on
- 11:26Speaker 1: two occasions. Lawyer, he didn't say that. He didn't say
- 11:30Speaker 1: to the public, you misrepresented. Congressman Mace, let me be clear.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I'm not asking about your right to ask him questions,
- 11:38Speaker 1: but don't do it on the basis of a news article.
- 11:41Speaker 1: The news article is quoting his statement. Nancy Mace, so
- 11:44Speaker 1: is this news article lying? Is the news article false? Lawyer,
- 11:48Speaker 1: it's false if you take it to mean what you
- 11:50Speaker 1: just say, that the statement did not do. Nancy Mace,
- 11:54Speaker 1: do you understand English? Seriously. Lawyer, I think I do.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I'm not from South Carolina, but I think I do.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, did you make a statement, Mr. President, in
- 12:05Speaker 1: 2019 that you only met with Jeffrey Epstein twice? I'm
- 12:08Speaker 1: asking the question a different way. Bill Clinton, I have
- 12:11Speaker 1: no idea. But I think that when I answer that,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I don't believe I remembered anything about meeting him in 1995. Mace,
- 12:19Speaker 1: so when making a statement about Jeffrey Epstein in 2019,
- 12:22Speaker 1: would you have checked with your staff? On maybe White
- 12:25Speaker 1: House logs about the 17 times he visited, dinners you
- 12:28Speaker 1: had with him, fundraising that you did with him, fundraising
- 12:31Speaker 1: dinners he was on? You were on his flights 26 times.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Would you have checked with your staff before making such
- 12:36Speaker 1: a statement? Lawyer. Congresswoman Mace, what statement are you talking about?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Are you talking about the entire statement that he made
- 12:45Speaker 1: in 2019? Ms. Mace, can I just ask you, can
- 12:49Speaker 1: I ask you for the record? Mace, excuse me? Lawyer, Ms. Mace,
- 12:53Speaker 1: can I ask you for the record? Can you read
- 12:55Speaker 1: the article into the record, please? Nancy Mace, I'm not
- 12:58Speaker 1: going to read the article into the record. Lawyer, well, Ms. Mace,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you're indicating that this article misrepresents the piece. Could you
- 13:05Speaker 1: read the article into the record? Redacted, read an article
- 13:09Speaker 1: into the record. I'm not going to do that. You're
- 13:11Speaker 1: not in charge of me. I'm quoting from the article. Lawyer,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm not seeking to be in charge of you, believe me.
- 13:16Speaker 1: That is something I would not at all seek to be.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, don't even try. Lawyer, so I want to
- 13:23Speaker 1: be respectful, but I'm asking if you're asking him to
- 13:25Speaker 1: speak this, can you please put the entire article on
- 13:28Speaker 1: the record? Nancy Mace, the entire article is in the
- 13:31Speaker 1: record as an exhibit. What exhibit number is this? Jack Emmer,
- 13:35Speaker 1: number 22. Nancy Mace, 22, lawyer for Clinton, and still,
- 13:41Speaker 1: Jack Emmer, counsel. Nancy Mace jumps in, it's already in
- 13:44Speaker 1: the record. Jack Emmer now jumps in. The question has
- 13:48Speaker 1: been clarified to reflect only the small portion of the
- 13:51Speaker 1: larger statement, to whatever extent the witness is able to
- 13:53Speaker 1: answer to his recollection of that portion of the statement,
- 13:57Speaker 1: and any preparation that occurred to make that statement. Lawyer,
- 14:00Speaker 1: so in other words, what you have just articulated, that
- 14:03Speaker 1: the question's been clarified by Ms. Mace, or by you,
- 14:07Speaker 1: that what is intended is to actually only be speaking
- 14:10Speaker 1: to the selected piece out of the entire statement that
- 14:12Speaker 1: was released by the president's office. Is that what you're clarifying?
- 14:16Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, that's what I'm focused on, yes. Bill Clinton, okay,
- 14:20Speaker 1: so if you read this, you really want to know
- 14:23Speaker 1: is if I was at a dinner. Nancy Mace, no,
- 14:26Speaker 1: I don't. My question was on that statement. Bill Clinton,
- 14:30Speaker 1: that Ron Perlman gave? Mace, no, sir, no, sir. I'm
- 14:34Speaker 1: not asking about the dinner. I'm asking about the statement
- 14:37Speaker 1: at the beginning of the article. I would like to
- 14:39Speaker 1: ask you another question. Your statement in 2019 about only
- 14:43Speaker 1: meeting with Epstein on two occasions briefly. The lawyer, that
- 14:47Speaker 1: is not a direct. I'm going to object to that characterization.
- 14:50Speaker 1: That's not what the statement says. Nancy Mace, okay, so
- 14:54Speaker 1: the third paragraph down. Lawyer, you're reading the Daily Beast article?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, by the way, and on the third paragraph
- 15:01Speaker 1: down it says... In his Monday statement, Clinton said he
- 15:04Speaker 1: had only one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office
- 15:07Speaker 1: in 2002, and around the same time made one brief
- 15:11Speaker 1: visit to Epstein's New York apartment with a staff member
- 15:14Speaker 1: and his security detail. Those are the two meetings that
- 15:17Speaker 1: were referenced. Lawyer, that's in addition to this. The Daily
- 15:22Speaker 1: Beast Bill Clinton failed to mention his intimate dinner in
- 15:26Speaker 1: 1995 with Epstein. That's by Pilar Melendez on the 11th
- 15:30Speaker 1: of July, 2019. Nancy Mace, all right, Mr. President, your
- 15:34Speaker 1: statement saying you only met with Epstein briefly twice. Was
- 15:37Speaker 1: that part of an effort to cover up your close
- 15:39Speaker 1: relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? Lawyer, object to the form of
- 15:44Speaker 1: the question. Misstates of the record. She's asking if you
- 15:48Speaker 1: were trying to mislead the public. Bill Clinton, no. Nancy Mace, okay.
- 15:52Speaker 1: How many times did Glenn Maxwell visit your home in Chappaqua?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, I have no idea. Nancy Mace, who invited her?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, well, I don't know. I don't know how.
- 16:01Speaker 1: She may have been. The lawyer jumps in. Mr. President,
- 16:04Speaker 1: that's it. Nancy Mace, okay. Bill Clinton, Hillary had political
- 16:10Speaker 1: events there. Nancy Mace, okay, so to your knowledge, was
- 16:13Speaker 1: she at your home in Chappaqua? Likely because your wife
- 16:17Speaker 1: had her over for Senate events. That's what you testified
- 16:21Speaker 1: earlier today, correct? Lawyer, that's not what he testified, but
- 16:25Speaker 1: please ask the question as to what he would actually
- 16:28Speaker 1: thank you. I appreciate it. Bill Clinton, okay. I don't know,
- 16:31Speaker 1: but if you're implying the reverse, I'll volunteer something. She
- 16:34Speaker 1: was never at my house in Chappaqua for any personal reason.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Nancy Mace, I didn't say anything for personal reasons. Clinton,
- 16:41Speaker 1: no you didn't, but you had a great tone in
- 16:43Speaker 1: your voice. The lawyer, Mr. President, let's just, Nancy Mace,
- 16:48Speaker 1: thank you. I'll take that as a compliment. Bill Clinton,
- 16:51Speaker 1: it is a compliment. Nancy Grace, thank you. And I
- 16:54Speaker 1: didn't go to Yale Law School, or any law school
- 16:57Speaker 1: for that matter. Yesterday, your wife, She testified that Ghislaine
- 17:00Speaker 1: Maxwell was never at her home. And I believe you
- 17:02Speaker 1: stated earlier today, you thought that if she was over there,
- 17:06Speaker 1: it would be for Senate events. So was your wife
- 17:08Speaker 1: falsely testifying yesterday? Warrior jumps in, objection, mischaracterizes. In his
- 17:15Speaker 1: wife's testimony yesterday. And so unless you are all going
- 17:18Speaker 1: to provide the transcript, or you're going to factually provide
- 17:21Speaker 1: that information, he's not in a position where he can
- 17:23Speaker 1: address that. Bill Clinton says, I believe all I said
- 17:28Speaker 1: was that I didn't know what she had done. Nancy Mace,
- 17:31Speaker 1: you postured that maybe it was for her Senate. I'm
- 17:34Speaker 1: going to have one last question, Mr. Chairman, and then
- 17:36Speaker 1: you can take over. I believe you stated today, and
- 17:39Speaker 1: I know it's been a number of years, on or
- 17:41Speaker 1: around 2008, you or before that, ended any communication with
- 17:45Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, correct? Bill Clinton, that's correct. Question, around the
- 17:49Speaker 1: time he got arrested or right beforehand, and he was
- 17:52Speaker 1: arrested for child sex prostitution or hiring girls for sex.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Or one girl for sex, correct? Roughly child sexual exploitation.
- 18:01Speaker 1: If you were aware in 2008 that Jeffrey Epstein was
- 18:03Speaker 1: having sex with kids and you knew of his close
- 18:06Speaker 1: association with Glenn Maxwell, why would you still associate with
- 18:10Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell, who you dubbed essentially like your Doug Band?
- 18:14Speaker 1: She was the body man to Epstein. Doug Band was
- 18:16Speaker 1: the body man to you. And why would you allow
- 18:19Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell to associate with your daughter up until, I
- 18:22Speaker 1: don't know, 2015? You knew he was a bad guy.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Why would you allow your daughter to? Lawyer jumps in.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Excuse me? What's the period in which you're saying he
- 18:31Speaker 1: would have known that Epstein was a bad guy? Mace,
- 18:34Speaker 1: after 2008. So up until Glenn Maxwell was involved with CGI,
- 18:39Speaker 1: until what, 2015? Clinton, yeah. Mace. And we confirmed today
- 18:44Speaker 1: that he had a dinner with Glenn Maxwell in LA
- 18:47Speaker 1: in 2014. So he's still hanging out with close associates,
- 18:51Speaker 1: the closest associate to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. I guess
- 18:57Speaker 1: my question is why. Lawyer, yes, but question, excuse me,
- 19:01Speaker 1: is the question why Ghislaine Maxwell came to the wedding?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Is that the question? Mace, I didn't even bring up
- 19:06Speaker 1: the wedding. Lawyer, okay, sorry. Nancy Mace, why are you obfuscating?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Why are you putting words in my mouth? You're smarter
- 19:13Speaker 1: than that. Bill Clinton, let me finish. I think first
- 19:17Speaker 1: of all, when the wedding occurred, she was with Ted
- 19:19Speaker 1: Wade and she was for several more years. We didn't
- 19:22Speaker 1: know when Epstein was arrested that she was involved with him.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I think that clears a lot of things up. We
- 19:28Speaker 1: didn't know. And I don't want all of you to get,
- 19:31Speaker 1: we're all getting in a lather here. There's a logical explanation.
- 19:34Speaker 1: We didn't know. And I'm sorry for what she did
- 19:37Speaker 1: and for what she allowed her life to become. And
- 19:39Speaker 1: now she's living with it. Nancy Mace. And I have
- 19:42Speaker 1: one final short question. I promise I'm done. I was
- 19:45Speaker 1: severely and heavily duped by an individual in my life
- 19:48Speaker 1: about two and a half years ago. It's very publicly
- 19:51Speaker 1: well known. You graduated from Georgetown and Yale, correct? Clinton, yeah. Question,
- 19:57Speaker 1: how do you think Elaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein duped
- 19:59Speaker 1: so many powerful and smart people, fully connected, powerful people
- 20:03Speaker 1: around the world? Bill Clinton, I really don't know. But
- 20:07Speaker 1: I don't know. I've thought a lot about it. Speaker, lawyer, Mr. President,
- 20:12Speaker 1: that's it. Bill Clinton, and if you can figure it out,
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'd like to know. Nancy Mace, thank you. Mr. President
- 20:19Speaker 1: and Mr. Chairman, I yield back. All right, we're going
- 20:22Speaker 1: to wrap up right there. And in the next episode
- 20:25Speaker 1: dealing with the topic, we're going to pick up where
- 20:27Speaker 1: we left off. All the information that goes with this
- 20:30Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
