- 0:58Speaker 4: I think what I've discovered there his pugs is like

- 1:17Speaker 5: of mad Dog. Your six sound to be another absolutely
- 1:20Speaker 5: beautiful day sparkling. I'm here in Auckland. Of course, we
- 1:23Speaker 5: only care about Auckland. What's happening here is the only
- 1:27Speaker 5: focus of the country. Everyone's behind us out the fellas. Yes,
- 1:31Speaker 5: from the top of the North to the bottom of
- 1:32Speaker 5: the South. In a little bit chilly, but man, I'm
- 1:34Speaker 5: loving it.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Bluebirds, bluebirds, It's absolutely magnificent. Now we should warn people
- 1:40Speaker 3: that old keys he's coming in a hour of them
- 1:44Speaker 3: and a hor of the mood, which is why I
- 1:46Speaker 3: think he tried to hijack the start of the show.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But it's all good, Keysy. How are you going?
- 1:54Speaker 5: I'm actually great, Jase.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I was in a fantastic mood until you came in
- 1:58Speaker 4: and kept telling you what I'm in a bad mood.
- 2:00Speaker 5: I'm in a great mood now, you are because we
- 2:03Speaker 5: cheered you up during the award winning Hodege Big Show
- 2:06Speaker 5: Outro podcast available wherever you get your.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Podcast, because you were spitting text for.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Thank you, Jose. I was looking for the right terminology
- 2:15Speaker 5: spitting tex.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You were fel you were esteem.
- 2:20Speaker 5: It, absolutely pooing your pants about something I don't know.
- 2:23Speaker 5: You had to be in your bonnet. You had to
- 2:24Speaker 5: poo in your pants.
- 2:25Speaker 2: God and your rate.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Thanks you guys had a chair a fella.
- 2:37Speaker 2: There's what mates does.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Mates. Hey, how are you, Jason?
- 2:43Speaker 2: I'm very well, thanks fellas.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Can't complain though, I did wake up this morning with
- 2:46Speaker 3: a very painful kidney, and I.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Was like, what's the what's that about?
- 2:51Speaker 6: Man?
- 2:52Speaker 3: Has that There's nothing I did yesterday that warrants me
- 2:55Speaker 3: having a sore kidney?
- 2:56Speaker 2: But my kidney really hurts.
- 2:58Speaker 5: So when Keysy said you, how are you? When you
- 3:01Speaker 5: said I can't complain, and then immediately complained.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but I complained to my wife early in the
- 3:07Speaker 3: morning about my sore kidney and then I let it go, right,
- 3:10Speaker 3: and then I say, you're right, just backboned for the
- 3:13Speaker 3: rest of the day, right, Okay, Hey Mogi, what's coming
- 3:16Speaker 3: up on the show?
- 3:17Speaker 2: Mate?
- 3:21Speaker 7: What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi?
- 3:24Speaker 5: Second to the last day to get involved with the
- 3:26Speaker 5: Pies that pay and beer and pie July there if
- 3:29Speaker 5: you elus, Yeah, man, listen for the cue to call,
- 3:32Speaker 5: give us a bell. You can win yourself two hundred
- 3:34Speaker 5: and fifty dollars in cold hard cash. We're going to
- 3:36Speaker 5: have a little bit more chat about the pigeon wings
- 3:41Speaker 5: looking over his beak with me, Keysy, but mostly will
- 3:45Speaker 5: just be dragging each other from head all seven o'clock.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Does that sound good?
- 3:48Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 3:48Speaker 5: Sounds good to me, as long as I had a
- 3:50Speaker 5: per my pants breck, because that's not very clever stuff here.
- 3:58Speaker 1: The whole Ikey Big Show days from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Is indeed pearl jam there on the Hodarky Big Show
- 4:05Speaker 3: this Thursday afternoon.
- 4:06Speaker 2: The time is twelve minutes past four o'clock.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Fellas, the Big Show brought a racing pigeon.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Gz on who wings looking lot for is big with big.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Geez god, I hate that name so much.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's fantastic. I love it.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Yeah, hey, listen, Fellas.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Basically the point of today right is, I've gone down south.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I've cheted it to pigeon Tim. I've bought a racing
- 4:32Speaker 4: pigeon that's racing this weekend. It's doing its first race
- 4:35Speaker 4: one hundred and fifty kilometers and we could win some
- 4:38Speaker 4: serious money.
- 4:38Speaker 5: It was four hundred bucks.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I did it thinking that you guys would go quarters
- 4:42Speaker 4: with me and we'd share in the winnings. All you've
- 4:44Speaker 4: done is suggested. I've been scammed and not one a
- 4:46Speaker 4: part of it. What I'm here today to ask is
- 4:48Speaker 4: what is it going to take do you guys to
- 4:50Speaker 4: get on board with this thing?
- 4:51Speaker 5: Because it's first race is the Saturday?
- 4:53Speaker 6: Right?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Ak?
- 4:57Speaker 5: Well, Look, I mean this is a thing easy. It's
- 4:59Speaker 5: felt like if this felt like we haven't been needed. No,
- 5:04Speaker 5: you know, you went out, you've bought this pigeon, you
- 5:06Speaker 5: surprised us whether it and it felt like we've been excluded.
- 5:11Speaker 5: It felt like it was your bird. And so I'm
- 5:16Speaker 5: certainly I want you to enjoy the whole process, but
- 5:18Speaker 5: I just sort of haven't feel like I'm a part
- 5:20Speaker 5: of it. Then we come in another day, you're allocating rolls,
- 5:24Speaker 5: so once again, it just sort of feels like the
- 5:27Speaker 5: whole thing's just been I mean, you know better than anyone, Kesy,
- 5:31Speaker 5: what it feels like when one of your mates has
- 5:33Speaker 5: just shoving something down your throat.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean just ramming it.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Down your throat, but you're not that into it, but
- 5:41Speaker 5: he keeps on ramming it down your throat trying to
- 5:44Speaker 5: say that I'm not that into it.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Yeah, when I first heard you talking about this actually keesy,
- 5:49Speaker 3: my first thought was, who the hell do you think
- 5:52Speaker 3: you are?
- 5:52Speaker 5: Well, when I said I bought us a racing pigeon.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I mean, the audacity of it just really got inside
- 6:00Speaker 3: my goat. You go and buy a racing pigeon going
- 6:03Speaker 3: off for the foulers without consulting us.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Not a word at any point.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I am filthy about I'm so sorry.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I thought it would be fun. I didn't know Jason
- 6:12Speaker 4: was gonna get deep inside your goat, Mike. I didn't
- 6:14Speaker 4: realize I was ramming it down your throat. I had
- 6:17Speaker 4: no idea of either of those things. I thought it
- 6:19Speaker 4: would be a fun thing for the group to do.
- 6:22Speaker 4: So I'm sorry about that. What I need to know
- 6:25Speaker 4: now is what is it going to take to get
- 6:26Speaker 4: you guys on board of this thing? Because I thought
- 6:28Speaker 4: it would be a great little exercise for.
- 6:30Speaker 3: To me, what you're saying is what's it gonna take
- 6:33Speaker 3: for you guys to bail me out of this well,
- 6:36Speaker 3: absolutely horrendous situation I'm in.
- 6:38Speaker 5: It could win us lots of money, man, I coul
- 6:40Speaker 5: said it could win fifteen hundred bucks this week. Well,
- 6:43Speaker 5: the first thing I need is a proper apology, and
- 6:45Speaker 5: for me, that means Kezy down on all wings, looking
- 6:49Speaker 5: over your beak with me, Kezy and just saying I'm sorry.
- 6:52Speaker 4: I'm not getting down on the floor and saying sorry
- 6:55Speaker 4: so that you'll buy a corner of my pigeon.
- 6:57Speaker 5: That sentence is the weirdest sentence I think I've ever said.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's on my list as well.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Actually, Keezy, for me, that's the first step, second step.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Any winnings I split fifty between me and Magi.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Oh yeah, cool, okay, cool, So just you just need
- 7:16Speaker 5: to take the per se.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You don't even try, I'm being honest.
- 7:19Speaker 3: If you want us on board, that's the deal. You
- 7:23Speaker 3: on all fours, looking over your shoulder, saying sorry over
- 7:28Speaker 3: his wings, and any winnings get split fifty to fifty
- 7:35Speaker 3: with me and Mogi.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Okay, okay, let's just let's just pretend I'm going to
- 7:39Speaker 4: say okay to this ridiculous deal. Are you going to
- 7:42Speaker 4: put one hundred bucks each in towards the purchasing of
- 7:44Speaker 4: the pigeon?
- 7:46Speaker 6: Who?
- 7:46Speaker 5: What I almost said penguin? I wonder if there's racing penguin. Yes,
- 7:53Speaker 5: so you give me one hundred dollars, yes, yes, yes,
- 7:56Speaker 5: and then if you guys get all of the money, yes,
- 7:59Speaker 5: and I will definitely pitch in. And you know, maybe
- 8:03Speaker 5: a bit of a rejig of the roles because you're
- 8:05Speaker 5: in the manager's position as well, But there was no
- 8:07Speaker 5: vote on that. You just elected yourself in that position.
- 8:10Speaker 5: But we as a team should be voting on that,
- 8:14Speaker 5: right And I've been talking the peg sound about this.
- 8:16Speaker 5: He is absolutely livid. You've been shoving it down his
- 8:19Speaker 5: throat as well.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Have I ramming it down? And he is just felthy
- 8:24Speaker 2: about it.
- 8:25Speaker 5: I had no idea, you know.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Just instinctively, I go management, Mogi, management.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Well Mogi, yeah, well I think pugs myself, right, But
- 8:39Speaker 5: this again, it shows we need to vote because I
- 8:41Speaker 5: shared the pugs and he was thinking hody jar or
- 8:43Speaker 5: there you go. So this is the thing and maybe
- 8:45Speaker 5: we have to put this to the to the public
- 8:47Speaker 5: as well.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Well.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Who gets pigeon manager? Yeah that's right, well, because it's
- 8:51Speaker 5: the only way that we can have a vote that
- 8:54Speaker 5: hasn't been tarnished, right by some kind of a favoritism.
- 8:57Speaker 5: If we vote for it, there could be resentment within
- 8:59Speaker 5: the ground if we put it in the hands of
- 9:01Speaker 5: the audience. Okay, well look three four eight three? Who
- 9:04Speaker 5: should be the pigeon manager? Well, the other thing I
- 9:06Speaker 5: want to know is he's Keysy been shoving it down
- 9:08Speaker 5: people's throats three four a three. So if the audience
- 9:14Speaker 5: agree that that's been happening, that Keysy has absolutely been
- 9:16Speaker 5: ramming it feels.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Like that to me.
- 9:19Speaker 4: So three four eight three? Has Keyesy been ramming it?
- 9:22Speaker 4: And who should be the pigeon manager? Every text in
- 9:26Speaker 4: the drawer for Reburger?
- 9:27Speaker 5: Yeah, and up next.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Felers, I thought we've better chat to pigeon Tim, the
- 9:31Speaker 4: guy organizing the whole time, head of the big race
- 9:33Speaker 4: this weekend.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Oh God, that feels so much better.
- 9:35Speaker 2: It got it off on the chest.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Can breathe so much easier now that you're not ramming
- 9:41Speaker 3: it down fast Chase.
- 9:45Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 9:48Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarches.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Indeed the White Stripes on the Hodarchy Big Show this
- 9:54Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon.
- 9:56Speaker 2: The time twenty five minutes past four o'clock.
- 9:58Speaker 4: If you've just joined us, you could be a here
- 10:00Speaker 4: that the Big Show has purchased a racing pigeon. The
- 10:02Speaker 4: pigeon is racing for the first time this weekend Saturday,
- 10:06Speaker 4: I believe, races at Wamadou and we could make some
- 10:09Speaker 4: money fail us.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah how much? Well if it wins.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's the reason why we've got the pigeon
- 10:15Speaker 4: man himself, pigeon Tim, on the line with us.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Good a Tim, how's it going mate?
- 10:19Speaker 2: Good?
- 10:19Speaker 6: Hey guys, how are you you well today? Yeah?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Thanks mate, can't complain.
- 10:22Speaker 6: Goodness God, big big race this weekend.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Yeah, big big race, Tim. So where is the race
- 10:29Speaker 4: actually going? What's the finished point? What's the start point?
- 10:32Speaker 6: The start point is the ash version. And these are
- 10:35Speaker 6: all racing homing pigeons, so they are traveling home their
- 10:38Speaker 6: home basis. So yeah, bring it on.
- 10:44Speaker 5: So just you know, to explain it for the layman
- 10:47Speaker 5: out there that doesn't understand pigeon racing. What you do
- 10:50Speaker 5: is you take all these pigeons, you drive them as
- 10:53Speaker 5: far away as possible as you can from their home.
- 10:56Speaker 5: You sort of spin them around and around so they're confused.
- 10:58Speaker 5: You let them out, and then you find out whether
- 11:01Speaker 5: they know enough to get home or not.
- 11:04Speaker 6: And surprisingly they do.
- 11:05Speaker 5: It's unreal, isn't it.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 11:09Speaker 3: So Tim Saal pigeon the Big Show pigeon was to win.
- 11:14Speaker 2: What sort of cash are we looking at here?
- 11:17Speaker 6: We're talking big dividends here, boys, dividend indeed, thousand dollars
- 11:22Speaker 6: for first. Oh yeah, eight hundred for second, six hundred
- 11:26Speaker 6: for third, four hundred for fourth, two hundred for first,
- 11:29Speaker 6: and one hundred for six and we pay it to
- 11:31Speaker 6: a fifteenth place for one hundred dollars.
- 11:32Speaker 5: It's not bad, is it? And also at the end
- 11:34Speaker 5: of it's an eight race series. At the end of
- 11:37Speaker 5: it all, are we talking about some kind of a
- 11:40Speaker 5: cup with something engraved in it?
- 11:42Speaker 3: Right?
- 11:43Speaker 6: There is? Yes, glory, that's what you're aiming.
- 11:46Speaker 4: For, the right Tim Pigeon. Tim, the man who's organized
- 11:51Speaker 4: the racing pigeon for the Big Show. We haven't actually
- 11:54Speaker 4: told you the name of the pigeon yet, No, you haven't.
- 11:58Speaker 4: It's currently called Pigeon one nine. And Tim, just confirming
- 12:01Speaker 4: you're not a listener of this show, are you?
- 12:04Speaker 2: I'm not, Tim, shame on you?
- 12:07Speaker 5: Okay? Well, the reason yeah, of course. But the reason
- 12:11Speaker 5: I ask you that is because I'm about to hit
- 12:13Speaker 5: you with potentially the most confusing pigeon name you've ever heard.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Are you ready for it?
- 12:17Speaker 6: I'm looking forward to it, guys.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Okay, have you got a pen?
- 12:20Speaker 6: I do?
- 12:21Speaker 5: Okay. The name of our pigeon is Kezy on all
- 12:25Speaker 5: wings looking over his beak with Mekezy easy on all
- 12:33Speaker 5: wings looking over his beak at me.
- 12:35Speaker 6: That's what it's outstanding.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Over his beak with me, Kezy. We'll put it in
- 12:43Speaker 5: an email just so you don't get it wrong, because
- 12:45Speaker 5: I'll be spewing if it gets engraved on the cat.
- 12:50Speaker 6: Every week I read out the results and we put
- 12:52Speaker 6: it on our Facebook page, on our Hector Blacks Lounge,
- 12:55Speaker 6: by our Facebook page, and this is going to be
- 12:58Speaker 6: an award winner to read this out.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Yeah beautiful, it's look, it's very confusing, Tim. I will
- 13:02Speaker 4: send you the full the full name, just so you've
- 13:04Speaker 4: got it locked in there properly, mate, before we go
- 13:07Speaker 4: as well? How is how is pigeon one O nine
- 13:09Speaker 4: a ka Keyzy on all wings looking over his beak
- 13:11Speaker 4: with me Kezy? How's he looking ahead of the big
- 13:13Speaker 4: grace this weekend?
- 13:14Speaker 6: And yet bang on. I've been talking to the trainer
- 13:18Speaker 6: and I asked specifically about your bird. Now they're weave worried.
- 13:22Speaker 6: We're going to have a wee bit of a head wind.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Okay for Saturday's race.
- 13:25Speaker 6: But you're just looking primed and ready and look as
- 13:29Speaker 6: good as a flying pigeon.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Yeah right. Can I ask you how you can tell
- 13:32Speaker 5: the difference between a pigeon that's primed and ready and
- 13:35Speaker 5: one that doesn't know up from down?
- 13:38Speaker 6: You looked them in the eye.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Yeah, sure you've been looking at this. You've been doing
- 13:44Speaker 5: it wrong.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Hey look pigeon, Tim, mate, thank you so much for
- 13:47Speaker 4: coming on once again. Also, big shout out to Tim
- 13:50Speaker 4: runs a Hector Blacks the bar down there in Timidoo.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I understand this. The reception of Hodaki down there. The
- 13:55Speaker 4: radio reception is not the greatest. So if you're coming
- 13:57Speaker 4: from out of town and you want something good to
- 13:58Speaker 4: go when you're heading to Timaroo up heic to Blacks.
- 14:01Speaker 4: But Tim, can we have a chat to you again
- 14:02Speaker 4: next week, maybe on the Monday, and you can reveal
- 14:04Speaker 4: the results to us?
- 14:06Speaker 6: Absolutely boys, looking forward to it.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Mate, Thanks pigeon term, we'll talk to you next week.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Bloody exciting stuff. Phillis well, I.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Mean, you know, if he wins that's five each for us.
- 14:17Speaker 5: No, I didn't agree to that, and then.
- 14:19Speaker 3: We've you know, we've quit more than quadrupled what we've.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Yes, Actually we've just prior to that chat, we were
- 14:26Speaker 4: discussing who should be the manager. I've had a great
- 14:29Speaker 4: text here on three four eight three. I actually agree
- 14:30Speaker 4: with it. They're saying, Jace, you should be the manager.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Reason being that you're a similar height to the pigeon
- 14:35Speaker 4: and you've got spindly legs and a massive beak.
- 14:41Speaker 5: So were how do you feel about that?
- 14:44Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy
- 14:47Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchis.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Indeed, are em there on the Hold Archy Big Show
- 14:52Speaker 3: this Thursday afternoon. The time is four fifty two. Fellas,
- 14:57Speaker 3: let's talk TV. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Last night, fellas, I watched another one of those untold
- 15:16Speaker 5: I haven't got the title, and that's that's bad preparation
- 15:19Speaker 5: for me, fellas. But do you remember a few years
- 15:20Speaker 5: ago there was four students that were they came to
- 15:25Speaker 5: a grizzly end on a US campus, a university campus. Yeah, anyway,
- 15:32Speaker 5: well it happened like three years ago, maybe between two
- 15:35Speaker 5: to four years ago. Anyway, young people and an intruder
- 15:40Speaker 5: came into the house and things got pretty ugly from
- 15:43Speaker 5: there on. In three episodes, three episodes on Netflix. There
- 15:48Speaker 5: and I was sort of watching it and I'm gone, yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 5: this isn't entertaining as such. I sort of like to
- 15:56Speaker 5: gloss over the grizzly details, yes, and get to the manhunt.
- 16:00Speaker 5: I like the catching of yeah, I don't like the
- 16:03Speaker 5: sort of going over the grizzly details with a fine
- 16:05Speaker 5: tooth game, you know what I mean. Yes, So it's
- 16:08Speaker 5: three episodes and it's sort of towards the back half
- 16:12Speaker 5: of the second episode. In the third episode, that's when
- 16:14Speaker 5: you get to the parts that I like. But with
- 16:17Speaker 5: the watches, I don't know if you know this, but
- 16:19Speaker 5: there's some shock and burst day, Oh for sure, shock
- 16:22Speaker 5: and burst. Yes, I think it's worth a watch. If
- 16:25Speaker 5: you're into those things. I won't give it any buzzies.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I won't give it give it any buzzies. But if
- 16:30Speaker 5: you like that sort of thing, give it a watch Netflix.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Am I carried on with my sort of comfort viewing
- 16:36Speaker 3: because you know, my wife and I get into that
- 16:38Speaker 3: terrible position of scrolling through stuff and going what about this?
- 16:42Speaker 2: What about this?
- 16:43Speaker 3: And it drives me insane. So what we do in
- 16:47Speaker 3: that situation is go back to something that we know
- 16:49Speaker 3: is really good and.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Then we watch it.
- 16:52Speaker 3: So jas So we watched an old movie, Romancing the Bone.
- 16:59Speaker 2: And got it. It's a hell of a film.
- 17:03Speaker 5: And you've watched that at least ten times over the.
- 17:08Speaker 3: You know, it's one of those movies where you go
- 17:11Speaker 3: back to it again and you see something different in it.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Do you you know what I mean?
- 17:17Speaker 5: And where did you watch it?
- 17:20Speaker 2: In the lounge?
- 17:21Speaker 3: And I'll say to my wife, I don't remember that
- 17:23Speaker 3: happening on the you know the last time we watched that.
- 17:25Speaker 2: She's no, no, neither.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Do you know what's interesting about this movie is that
- 17:29Speaker 5: that's a play on a movie called Romance in the Stone,
- 17:31Speaker 5: which nobody that's listening will remember came out in nineteen
- 17:37Speaker 5: eighty three. Movie nobody will actually.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Funnily enough, I watched that on the r CM channel
- 17:44Speaker 3: the other day. It was it's actually a very sexy movie, a.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Very sexy movie. You're Michael Douglas, you're Kathleen Danny Devita.
- 17:53Speaker 2: It's great, it's bloody great stuff.
- 17:54Speaker 5: It's really really good. Not as good obviously.
- 17:56Speaker 2: As Romancing the Bone.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Look, I've got to give it are solid four point
- 18:01Speaker 3: seven eight buzzies.
- 18:03Speaker 5: We're getting them to two decial places. Now Jason's doing
- 18:08Speaker 5: what he's done to the Trouble, He's just ruining what
- 18:10Speaker 5: he's doing.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Ye, so just looked it up. Romanting the Bone came
- 18:17Speaker 4: out in nineteen eighty four. It genuinely is an adult film, right.
- 18:20Speaker 4: It stars Barbie Dahl, d A h l and George
- 18:24Speaker 4: Payne um.
- 18:26Speaker 5: And yeah, so it's a real it's a real adult
- 18:28Speaker 5: film there, Jason.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Well, obviously, yeah, I'm not just making this up keasy, No,
- 18:33Speaker 3: of course not so.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah, four point seven eight busies.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I watched Our Age's Fortune. Yeah that was good. No,
- 18:43Speaker 4: I just made it up. Fellas for attention, what's happening
- 18:47Speaker 4: after five?
- 18:47Speaker 9: Jas, Well, look, apparently this has been some controversy wea
- 18:54Speaker 9: the trouble, and apparently you guys want to check to
- 18:58Speaker 9: me about something with regards to the throw.
- 19:01Speaker 4: But I just want you off the show completely, the
- 19:06Speaker 4: whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy Tune
- 19:09Speaker 4: in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Ike welcome back to your messive bank bones.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Hope your Thursday's absolutely going off. You're listening to the
- 19:17Speaker 3: big Show, incidentally brought to you by Reburger.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Serving good times and good food Dina or take away
- 19:24Speaker 4: Reburger today.
- 19:30Speaker 10: I'm sorry, I really need help. I'll just I just
- 19:34Speaker 10: I think it's really important to everyone knows just how
- 19:37Speaker 10: delicious Rainburger is because obviously there's stop handcrafted and I
- 19:42Speaker 10: released loaded fries and my hate I just not a
- 19:46Speaker 10: papal light and it changes the game because.
- 19:48Speaker 3: It's a.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It's good stuff.
- 20:00Speaker 5: You can't pause like that for about five sings and
- 20:01Speaker 5: they just say no, I was just enjoying it, glow.
- 20:06Speaker 2: How was your weird pumpkin carry last night?
- 20:11Speaker 5: What was weird about it? Based, wasn't it?
- 20:13Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 20:14Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 20:14Speaker 5: It was an Indian style carry? Correct? Yeah? Well what
- 20:16Speaker 5: made an Indian style? Again? Because they don't famously they
- 20:19Speaker 5: don't have pumpkins in India. Hey, I'm googling this. We're
- 20:22Speaker 5: trying to do a radio show.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Google Fingers.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Come on to doctor Google Fingers.
- 20:30Speaker 4: For anyone who's never heard the nickname. And it's five
- 20:32Speaker 4: years old. Yes, India has plenty of pumpkins. It was
- 20:37Speaker 4: actually the second largest producer of pumpkins in the world Mogie.
- 20:41Speaker 5: According to Google. Yeah, come on, you got to wake
- 20:45Speaker 5: up man. It was a pumpkin style curry with lentil,
- 20:48Speaker 5: a pumpkin style carry.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Is an Indian.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Don't start. It was fine? Okay, My answer is it
- 20:59Speaker 5: was fine.
- 20:59Speaker 2: It was fine.
- 21:00Speaker 5: What else did you hear with it? Though? Rice? And
- 21:04Speaker 5: uh little suit? There's a curry? You hear the pumpkin
- 21:09Speaker 5: suit with Rice? What is this? I feel like a
- 21:13Speaker 5: bit of fricking silent.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's getting a bit crazy. Hey, now he had soup?
- 21:25Speaker 5: Is that we were at? It's a show.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Now listen.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Apparently there's been some controversy ree the thrubble, and we'll
- 21:37Speaker 3: address that next because I'm fired up.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm fired up.
- 21:41Speaker 5: But in the meantime we'll fight up about the trouble.
- 21:43Speaker 5: We wouldn't have this controversy.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Here's Velvet Revolver the.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Whole Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 21:51Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio hold Ik.
- 21:54Speaker 3: This indeed the Buttole surfers there on the Hodarchy Big
- 21:57Speaker 3: Show this Thursday evening. The time is five fourteen.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Hey, Pugs is here.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's Pugs.
- 22:06Speaker 7: That's the name, fellas.
- 22:07Speaker 2: How are you?
- 22:07Speaker 5: Thanks for having me?
- 22:09Speaker 2: Why are you here?
- 22:10Speaker 5: I'll tell you why he's here.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Mate, Show meetings, show me the meeting.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Show meeting is now in progress.
- 22:23Speaker 5: The reason part we're all gathered here today. Yeah, for.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Something that I think a lot of a lot of
- 22:31Speaker 4: people are texting it on three for eight three. It's
- 22:33Speaker 4: something we've noticed over the past weeks, months even that
- 22:36Speaker 4: a beloved part of our show, known as the Friday Throbber,
- 22:42Speaker 4: it has been I don't even know how, I don't
- 22:44Speaker 4: even know how to describe it. It's been massively disrespected
- 22:47Speaker 4: by a certier member of the Hockey Big Show.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Is something that's been bugging you. Thank you, Buggan, it's
- 22:53Speaker 5: been bugging me.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yes, bugging.
- 22:58Speaker 5: I guess that means you've probably got a own depict
- 23:00Speaker 5: Yeah with Hody j.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I got a bone a pitch because I was just
- 23:05Speaker 3: about to say, actually, yeah, he doesn't have it, you know,
- 23:08Speaker 3: he doesn't get to do it.
- 23:09Speaker 5: What by the way, Hoidy j aka the Jiz but.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Kills there's five stings now.
- 23:22Speaker 5: So what you remember?
- 23:24Speaker 10: Man?
- 23:25Speaker 2: What's the issue?
- 23:26Speaker 5: Why are you not Why are you not taking the trouper. Seriously, man,
- 23:29Speaker 5: what are you doing? You just phoning it in and
- 23:30Speaker 5: you're not even listening to songs. You're just like and
- 23:32Speaker 5: you're cracking up about it. You know, you're laughing at
- 23:34Speaker 5: the fact you don't even know these songs. You're nominating shitters.
- 23:36Speaker 5: You've got five wins on the year, you've got like
- 23:38Speaker 5: fifty s to risk, you've been disqualified once and you've
- 23:41Speaker 5: got a small d and you've got a small dye.
- 23:45Speaker 5: What's what's going on? What is going on?
- 23:50Speaker 2: Look? I'd like to take this opportunity, if I may, to.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Formally apologize, Okay, cool, I've been it's fair to say
- 24:03Speaker 3: less than enthusiastic with regards to the Throbber. Indeed, you'll
- 24:09Speaker 3: often find me on a Friday afternoon thinking about the
- 24:14Speaker 3: Throbber and going, God, a bloody trobber. I walk around
- 24:21Speaker 3: the CBD thinking, Oh, the bloody Throbber. And so I
- 24:27Speaker 3: think it's fair to say that I have been listening
- 24:29Speaker 3: enthusiastic and and very cavalier, you might say, with the
- 24:34Speaker 3: choices that I've made.
- 24:36Speaker 2: And often I think to myself, Oh, that'll do.
- 24:39Speaker 3: That is your attitude, Yeah, that'll dad, And I fully
- 24:43Speaker 3: understand what you're all saying here is that I'm disrespecting
- 24:46Speaker 3: a massive institution of the show.
- 24:49Speaker 11: Can I just say, it's not just us, Jase. The
- 24:51Speaker 11: people are pissed off about it. I get messages on
- 24:54Speaker 11: the Instagram at HODECKYPEG Show.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Do you know how many people out.
- 24:57Speaker 11: There would be honored and thrilled to get to cheer
- 25:00Speaker 11: who's a song that might get played on radio?
- 25:03Speaker 5: Hold? It's so exciting.
- 25:04Speaker 11: It's a corner stone of the Big Show since its origin,
- 25:06Speaker 11: I would say.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Or hear about seriously, since the first week of the
- 25:10Speaker 5: Big Show, and we've actually ended up chopping and changing
- 25:14Speaker 5: Watch the Throbber is just to accommodate you, Jason, your
- 25:18Speaker 5: complete lack of enthusiasm. So now we've got it where
- 25:20Speaker 5: the audience are providing us with songs, and I'll be honest,
- 25:25Speaker 5: I think we've got to get rid of that. I
- 25:26Speaker 5: think we've got to go back to the original. It's
- 25:27Speaker 5: up to us to choose the songs, provide the songs,
- 25:31Speaker 5: and have them voted on. And if suit of members
- 25:33Speaker 5: aren't bringing, you know, great tunes to the party, then
- 25:37Speaker 5: maybe the voting will show that. The voting will show
- 25:40Speaker 5: that the thing is Mogan.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Even when the audience was was sending through suggestions, Jace
- 25:43Speaker 4: wouldn't even wouldn't even listen to the song.
- 25:46Speaker 5: You just that'll do? He just point out one of
- 25:47Speaker 5: the tests.
- 25:48Speaker 7: True, what about a red card system?
- 25:51Speaker 11: You know, we're like say, say or anybody sorry, anybody
- 25:55Speaker 11: in the team has a someone's that universally it is
- 26:00Speaker 11: decided that they did not care about.
- 26:03Speaker 7: If I can just a red card, you're out for
- 26:06Speaker 7: the next.
- 26:06Speaker 5: Week, oh that weekend, the next week or something, so
- 26:10Speaker 5: you're out of that game that week's round, and then
- 26:12Speaker 5: your band for a week.
- 26:14Speaker 2: So I like that a lot.
- 26:15Speaker 5: I feel like this is rewarding Jason's behavior. Well, I'd
- 26:17Speaker 5: rather somebody.
- 26:18Speaker 11: Did it that was enthusiastic, whether that's an audience member
- 26:21Speaker 11: or I would obviously I love it.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Fellows. Can I just say, I hear you.
- 26:29Speaker 11: R.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Don't stop throwing around RS randomness or meaning for me,
- 26:35Speaker 4: just pack it up.
- 26:36Speaker 3: And I vow from this day forward, he's going to
- 26:41Speaker 3: pick a shither tomorrow. I am going to bring bangers,
- 26:45Speaker 3: okay every Friday afternoon.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Fear not, fear not.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Okay, Alexander the Great of you're trying to be right now.
- 26:57Speaker 5: So tomorrow, if you don't bring a banger, you are
- 27:00Speaker 5: banned for one week and pugs will be taking your place.
- 27:02Speaker 3: All right, Okay that sounds really reasonable.
- 27:06Speaker 4: And Fear also shout out to Jace for yet another
- 27:09Speaker 4: apology without saying the word sorry.
- 27:11Speaker 5: Yeah the master, Yeah, you are the master of that.
- 27:14Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 27:17Speaker 1: in four.
- 27:24Speaker 5: It's bitter implied. You're like on radio Homeggings.
- 27:29Speaker 2: In the last days we are.
- 27:31Speaker 3: So we're doing to a day at the moment, to
- 27:34Speaker 3: a show to a show and the people are loving it, fellows.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Well they are the only people that aren't loving it
- 27:39Speaker 4: is remember Dad from Dad's Pies?
- 27:41Speaker 5: Oh, how Dad he's gonna be gets a horror of.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Bo He gets pretty fired up, for sure.
- 27:46Speaker 4: He's literally emailed again and been like, hey, can you
- 27:49Speaker 4: let Jason know that Dad's that there's a serious amount.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Of pop pride, pot pride.
- 27:56Speaker 5: What's that she's got to start her?
- 27:58Speaker 4: So I'm just passing on what he's seeing, all right,
- 28:00Speaker 4: there's a serious amount of put pride baked into every
- 28:03Speaker 4: Dad's pie.
- 28:04Speaker 5: And he was like you did that in an email? Yeah, yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 5: voice not voice.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Okay, can you do that on email?
- 28:11Speaker 5: Says he's driving and stuff? But what's that?
- 28:13Speaker 2: Can you? Can you do that on email? Okay? Good stuff.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Let's go to the phone line, get a stiffany house life.
- 28:22Speaker 8: It's pretty good? Pretty good?
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff? Well, how's fine to day to day?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Is it beautiful up there? It is?
- 28:29Speaker 8: It was a bit chili for some years, stayed nice
- 28:32Speaker 8: and crystal days?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah nice? Tell me, Steff? Can I call you stiff?
- 28:37Speaker 8: You can call me whatever?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Okay? Cool? What do you do for a crust, Steff?
- 28:43Speaker 8: I work in new car sales, Edmund, carbone. Absolutely.
- 28:50Speaker 5: You know people that work in new car sales Edmund
- 28:54Speaker 5: or the backbone of this country, and I won't hear
- 28:56Speaker 5: a word against them.
- 28:58Speaker 8: We're a tough bunch.
- 29:01Speaker 2: When you're having a bit of a smoke, Oh, taking
- 29:03Speaker 2: a little break there. What sort of party you like
- 29:05Speaker 2: to run with? I'm a cheese yeah, another role with that?
- 29:10Speaker 5: That's good eating?
- 29:11Speaker 11: Right?
- 29:11Speaker 2: Then?
- 29:11Speaker 5: I can I ask you, Steff a bit of a
- 29:13Speaker 5: personal question, but are you married?
- 29:16Speaker 10: I am?
- 29:16Speaker 5: What did you do your first dance to? Can I
- 29:18Speaker 5: ask you that? What was the song?
- 29:22Speaker 8: Probably it was some trucking song like my husband's a
- 29:27Speaker 8: trucker and they played some some old Kilbery truck songs.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Oh, I think is it the song from Smoking the
- 29:35Speaker 4: Band or one of those? But I think I know
- 29:37Speaker 4: the song.
- 29:37Speaker 8: I think it could be. Yeah, it was twenty eight
- 29:41Speaker 8: years ago.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Oh, congrect, Did you cut some shape stuff?
- 29:46Speaker 6: What's that?
- 29:46Speaker 3: Did you cut some shapes? Did you burn up the
- 29:48Speaker 3: dance floor?
- 29:50Speaker 1: Oh?
- 29:51Speaker 8: No, I still had a few few nerves going on.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Yeah, what have I done?
- 29:56Speaker 5: What have I done?
- 29:57Speaker 3: Well? Great news, Steff, You've just won yourself two hundred
- 30:00Speaker 3: and fifty bucks cash.
- 30:01Speaker 2: How does that sound?
- 30:04Speaker 5: Mate?
- 30:04Speaker 4: Steff just quickly was it that trucking convoy song from
- 30:07Speaker 4: nineteen Yeah?
- 30:09Speaker 8: Yeah, we alone beers?
- 30:12Speaker 5: Yeah, so when someone's even a few beers or you
- 30:16Speaker 5: get married.
- 30:17Speaker 12: Yeah, chuck on the convoy side. Good, get on your stuff,
- 30:22Speaker 12: You hold the line and pugs will hand you that
- 30:24Speaker 12: cash in person right out.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Random question makee yeah, mate, it was very Oh yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 5: I don't know what made me think of that, But
- 30:36Speaker 5: maybe that's a question we could ask because it's quite
- 30:38Speaker 5: like that. Have you ever heard that before?
- 30:40Speaker 3: No?
- 30:40Speaker 5: I never heard that before.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Did you guys have a first dance? Because we didn't
- 30:43Speaker 3: do that at our wedding.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Well you were, you were off your face stagger and bars?
- 30:48Speaker 5: Did you wear? Yeah? I did? I did? Ours was
- 30:52Speaker 5: too uh sweet Texas Sweet something or other by the
- 30:57Speaker 5: Last Shadow Puppets lead singers Alex Turner. Great tune, absolutely
- 31:02Speaker 5: great tune. And my mate's band played it live. But
- 31:04Speaker 5: he played it. We had a dance sorted out for
- 31:06Speaker 5: it that we learned. Yes, but my mate played it
- 31:09Speaker 5: at like triple speed. I don't know why I did that,
- 31:12Speaker 5: but we looked like fools. So Mogi was out there
- 31:15Speaker 5: effident to keep up with it. That's so funny. Mine
- 31:19Speaker 5: was I Can't take my Eyes off of You by
- 31:21Speaker 5: Frankie Belly.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yeah, what really do you mean? That'd be a good
- 31:26Speaker 2: song for a thrommer.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So it is a Jakes the Hood Arching Big Show
- 31:31Speaker 1: with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune in week days at

- 31:45Speaker 5: It was just Tim Paranas the best of us, man.
- 31:47Speaker 5: I know what you're doing. You're doing a goat and pressure. Yes,
- 31:51Speaker 5: it was actually yeah, which is.

- 32:10Speaker 4: votes is nominated to be the greatest song of all time.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Weavens. If there's a tie, keezy. If there's a tie,
- 32:17Speaker 5: if someone's got equal votes, what happens then? Alphabetical or
- 32:21Speaker 5: year of release? What are we doing?
- 32:22Speaker 2: I think I decide?
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Well came up to me and said, look,
- 32:28Speaker 3: if we have a tied situation, Hoidy J, because you
- 32:31Speaker 3: know you love your music, we're gonna.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Make it that you be the tie breaker.
- 32:35Speaker 5: Right, Okay, Well that's good to know, because so for example,
- 32:37Speaker 5: let's just say hypothetical, a couple of past winners.
- 32:40Speaker 4: You know you've got smells like teen Spirit Yavana and
- 32:43Speaker 4: then you might have black by Pearl Jam. Thank you, Oh,
- 32:46Speaker 4: Hoidy J. Navana and Pearl Jam are tied for first place?
- 32:50Speaker 4: Which one do you want to be the winner?
- 32:51Speaker 3: And then I would go The winner of the Goat
- 32:54Speaker 3: for twenty twenty six is Black by.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Pearl Jam Right, okay, nice?
- 33:00Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 33:01Speaker 5: Is it because you prefer pil jam? Yes, I do, yeah, Okay,
- 33:03Speaker 5: I like Okay, Well, the best way to ensure that
- 33:06Speaker 5: does not happen is by texting Goat to three four
- 33:09Speaker 5: eight three lock your votes, and it's open now until Sunday,
- 33:13Speaker 5: August sixteenth, and then we shut it all down and
- 33:15Speaker 5: put together the playlist and we rip into the countdown
- 33:18Speaker 5: nine am Monday morning on the August seventeenth. Blood be good,
- 33:22Speaker 5: only a few weeks away.
- 33:23Speaker 2: I love me a countdown, fellers, I love me account.
- 33:25Speaker 5: I look forward to this every single year now. People
- 33:28Speaker 5: sometimes they say, well, how can you have a new
- 33:30Speaker 5: Goat every single year? But for me, it changes all
- 33:32Speaker 5: the time. The music I love it changes year on
- 33:36Speaker 5: year on year on year. So the thing that I
- 33:37Speaker 5: felt was a go this year is actually different than
- 33:40Speaker 5: what I thought was a Goat last year, and so
- 33:41Speaker 5: on et totally.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Mine's very different this year, and mine is heavily influenced
- 33:45Speaker 4: by a recent concert we met.
- 33:47Speaker 5: That's right, And these are the things that happen. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 5: absolutely that And then when you know there might be
- 33:52Speaker 5: a musician that passes away and then they get thrashed
- 33:54Speaker 5: like Ozsie Osborne. Like right, they have a big influence, Ja,
- 33:59Speaker 5: Just don't they. I know you're a big fan.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Who of what?
- 34:03Speaker 5: You love them?
- 34:03Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, hey, now listen.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Coming up after six o'clock, we've got a bit of
- 34:08Speaker 3: a sinkhole update from old Mogi and we've got some
- 34:11Speaker 3: breaking news too, The.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Hot Aching Big Show with Mike and Kezy. Tune in
- 34:18Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio hod I.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Welcome back your messive bagbones. Hope your Thursday's going along
- 34:23Speaker 3: very nicely. Indeed, are you listening to the Big Show,
- 34:26Speaker 3: by the way, brought to you by Reburger.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Beef checking vegan and vegetarian options, Reburger redefining the norm.
- 34:35Speaker 2: What's on the dinner plate tonight?
- 34:36Speaker 5: Megie, that's a great question from you, Woody hoody Ja there,
- 34:40Speaker 5: and actually I think I do know. I think I'm
- 34:42Speaker 5: having an Indian style corma Indian style corma there. What
- 34:49Speaker 5: makes an Indian style the fact that a corn is
- 34:51Speaker 5: an Indian dish from southern India. There, Jason, they served
- 34:55Speaker 5: that with rice Keyesy a little rice number. Wow, just
- 34:58Speaker 5: what you had with your soup last night.
- 34:59Speaker 4: I did have soup. I had a punkin curry. You sure, Okay,
- 35:03Speaker 4: you can have pumpkin and more rays than just some
- 35:06Speaker 4: more rays small ways than just soup, fellows fellers, more
- 35:11Speaker 4: rays like the eel fellas.
- 35:14Speaker 2: I'm in a bit of a dilemma actually, because do.
- 35:17Speaker 5: You want to know what Jason's dilimer is?
- 35:18Speaker 9: Oh?
- 35:18Speaker 5: Yeah, he wants to have a hot pot.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Well it's not really my dilimri. It's just
- 35:23Speaker 3: that my wife and I were going to meet for
- 35:25Speaker 3: dinner and I said it's on you, babe, you decide,
- 35:28Speaker 3: and she's like, oh, I hate deciding, you know. And
- 35:31Speaker 3: I'm like, well, you know, we could, you know, because
- 35:35Speaker 3: if you can't think of anything, I'm mum, I've got
- 35:37Speaker 3: an option.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Can I suguesce to you Jason that you don't do
- 35:40Speaker 5: a hot pot? You can suggest it because you might
- 35:44Speaker 5: find yourself having multiple hot pots in a very short
- 35:48Speaker 5: amount of time and getting sick of it. Worth an
- 35:50Speaker 5: upcoming come down with me, hepney, but that might you
- 35:56Speaker 5: see what I'm saying, I hear what I hate to
- 35:58Speaker 5: be for somebody to get marked down because somebody can't
- 36:01Speaker 5: get his snout out of the hot pot trough.
- 36:05Speaker 4: And so listeners at unawere Jase is addicted to hot pot.
- 36:08Speaker 4: There's this one restaurant in the awkward CB. He's been
- 36:10Speaker 4: there like a billion times in the last couple of.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Months, not a billion.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Come on, man, I'm having tacos.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Hey, oh yeah, good, yuh yeah.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I like those ones, but my family doesn't like them,
- 36:22Speaker 3: so I never get.
- 36:23Speaker 5: To eat them.
- 36:24Speaker 2: It really sucks.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Hey, But coming up, we've got a bit of an
- 36:28Speaker 3: update on Mogi sinkhole.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Yes, just down the street from him.
- 36:32Speaker 5: People have been stopping me in the street about this.
- 36:34Speaker 2: It's been stopping your bloody outrageous. Here's the Black Keys.
- 36:39Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy tune.
- 36:42Speaker 5: In four.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Indeed Marcy Playground there on the Darkey Big Show this
- 36:48Speaker 3: Thursday evening. The time eleven minutes past six o'clock.
- 36:52Speaker 5: Fellas as you will know, and it's been right across
- 36:54Speaker 5: the news over the last sort of week. There's a
- 36:57Speaker 5: massive sinkhole that's opened up right outside my house. Yes,
- 37:01Speaker 5: it's it's massive, ten meters, it's keasy. You should see
- 37:10Speaker 5: the size of this bastard. Probably ten to fifteen meters deep. Now,
- 37:15Speaker 5: this happened because it's sort of the street is sort
- 37:17Speaker 5: of a sits in a basin somewhat. So when we
- 37:21Speaker 5: had the huge rains three years ago, the floods sort
- 37:25Speaker 5: of pulled there and it ended up causing a sinkhole there.
- 37:28Speaker 5: But the council sorted it out by putting a steel
- 37:31Speaker 5: plate over the hole. Yes, so that that was all
- 37:35Speaker 5: sort of but lo and behold, more rain over the
- 37:39Speaker 5: last three years has resulted in this sinkhole getting absolutely massive.
- 37:43Speaker 5: Now we're talking on the show yesterday about I'm trying
- 37:46Speaker 5: to sort it out by filling it up with grass clippings.
- 37:49Speaker 5: What do we have their grass? Its old nappies. Yes, yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 5: I put my catty litter, that's right. I put my
- 37:56Speaker 5: old toy to akra in there. There's some asbestos in there,
- 37:59Speaker 5: just anything that people have got. They can just come
- 38:01Speaker 5: along and just drop it in the whole try and
- 38:02Speaker 5: fill it up. So last night, now the councilor has arrived.
- 38:07Speaker 5: They are facing it. That's great. So they've fenced it
- 38:10Speaker 5: all off. They've shut the streets so you can't get
- 38:12Speaker 5: out of that street anymore, and they've they sort of
- 38:16Speaker 5: spent the fear three days getting in a port coom
- 38:19Speaker 5: on site a lunch of smoke o porta coom. Yes,
- 38:22Speaker 5: so they ain't leaving any time soon. I've never seen that,
- 38:26Speaker 5: So that's good that that's there. Now. What I didn't
- 38:28Speaker 5: know until last night when I got woken up at
- 38:30Speaker 5: three o'clock in the morning. As they're working twenty four
- 38:32Speaker 5: hours a day, twenty four hours a day, so they're
- 38:35Speaker 5: out there last night with diggers and tracks and vans
- 38:40Speaker 5: and everyone's having a laugh and enjoying themselves. So apparently
- 38:43Speaker 5: this work is going to be going for twenty four
- 38:45Speaker 5: hours a day, seven days a week for the next
- 38:47Speaker 5: two months. Now. Of course it's not going to take
- 38:49Speaker 5: two months, probably take four months.
- 38:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd say a couple of years if.
- 38:56Speaker 2: It's a council sort of thing.
- 38:57Speaker 5: Yeah, she's a big job. But I'm just sort of
- 39:00Speaker 5: wondering what I should do because I like it. I
- 39:03Speaker 5: like sleeping if I can, and so I was awake
- 39:06Speaker 5: last night from three o'clock, so I've been awake since
- 39:08Speaker 5: three o'clock this morning. I just wondered if anybody's got
- 39:11Speaker 5: any ideas three for eight three what I can do
- 39:15Speaker 5: to either reduce the noise outside or make it so
- 39:18Speaker 5: that I can sleep inside.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Yeah, actually, just I knew waking up at three that
- 39:22Speaker 3: might have been me. Actually because I've got some stuff
- 39:25Speaker 3: out of the you know, out of our storage so
- 39:27Speaker 3: that we wanted to get rid of it. Yeah, I
- 39:29Speaker 3: dumping it in the stink hole there, in the sink hole,
- 39:33Speaker 3: So that might have been me. Yeah, apologies make when
- 39:38Speaker 3: people working when you did that, though, they stopped. Well,
- 39:41Speaker 3: I dumped it all in there. Actually they might have
- 39:43Speaker 3: been on smoo.
- 39:44Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, mess of that smokeo porticon. True story. One
- 39:50Speaker 5: of my old my final flat I lived in before
- 39:52Speaker 5: I moved in with my wife, was for two weeks
- 39:56Speaker 5: straight there was twenty four hour works outside right and
- 39:58Speaker 5: the front of our house, my bed and was right
- 40:00Speaker 5: by the road. And because of the style of road,
- 40:03Speaker 5: it was like it was classified as a certain type
- 40:06Speaker 5: of road, which meant they could work on it all
- 40:08Speaker 5: through the night, diggers, steamrollers, all sorts of stuff. It
- 40:11Speaker 5: was crazy. It is interesting, isn't it, Because it's it's
- 40:14Speaker 5: going to be more resident dr I mean, don't get
- 40:16Speaker 5: me wrong, I love it. Yeah, I love it. But
- 40:17Speaker 5: some of my elderly neighbors they're not into it at all. Yes,
- 40:21Speaker 5: but it is an interesting one that you let it,
- 40:24Speaker 5: you know, sit there for three years, and once it
- 40:26Speaker 5: gets absolutely terrible, then you think I will start working
- 40:29Speaker 5: twenty four to seven to get sorted out. How many
- 40:31Speaker 5: people are there working on it? Honestly, there's about forty
- 40:33Speaker 5: five there last night. And then you've got all the people.
- 40:36Speaker 5: You've got all the spectators, one hundred spectators because people
- 40:39Speaker 5: love a gork. Then you've got a probably another probably
- 40:43Speaker 5: another two to three hundred people turn up every hour
- 40:45Speaker 5: just dumping stuff in it as well.
- 40:47Speaker 3: You've also got the you know, and then you're looking
- 40:49Speaker 3: at it one fifty people going through all the stuff
- 40:52Speaker 3: that people have dumped.
- 40:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right. Treasure hunds are turning up as well.
- 40:58Speaker 5: It sounds like two thousand people looking at Moggy's. Oh
- 41:00Speaker 5: they're loving it. Yeah, they're getting right in there.
- 41:02Speaker 1: CAZy the hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 41:06Speaker 1: Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio hold.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I King is indeed the Black Crows there on the
- 41:11Speaker 3: Hodarchy Big Show this thusday evening.
- 41:14Speaker 2: The time twenty three minutes a bat six o'clock Fellas.
- 41:16Speaker 5: We've teamed up with Hira Hobby again, the everything experts
- 41:19Speaker 5: to tackle the jobs you've been putting off around the house. Yeah,
- 41:22Speaker 5: we've done a few jobs with these.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Feelers, and this time they've given us a one thousand
- 41:25Speaker 4: dollars hire a Hobby voucher to give away.
- 41:27Speaker 5: We'll be doing that tomorrow. Yes, Oh is it tomorrow?
- 41:30Speaker 2: Yes? Wow.
- 41:31Speaker 5: In the meantime, if you have a big job that
- 41:33Speaker 5: needs doing, tax the word hobby hubb y to three
- 41:37Speaker 5: four eight three and then chuck after the word hobby.
- 41:39Speaker 5: I'll give us some details on the job that you
- 41:40Speaker 5: need doing. A thousand bucks.
- 41:42Speaker 4: We'll be calling someone tomorrow and that could you know,
- 41:44Speaker 4: that could sort out a huge job if need be
- 41:46Speaker 4: totes upgrade. You're living space without the blunders real rehinos
- 41:50Speaker 4: from real hobby legends.
- 41:51Speaker 5: Oh that's a good call. It is just made that up. Yeah,
- 41:54Speaker 5: it's really good. Hey, just looking through some of the
- 41:56Speaker 5: text that it comes through here. Someone needs a garden
- 41:59Speaker 5: bed built. Ah, a garden bed. You don't want to
- 42:02Speaker 5: sleep in the garden because you'll find you get rained
- 42:05Speaker 5: on inside. Brother, that's just a word to the wise.
- 42:11Speaker 2: That sounds like the sort of thing I could do.
- 42:14Speaker 5: What build a bed?
- 42:15Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because you know I love the gardens my
- 42:17Speaker 3: timates and I very much missed, you know, my little
- 42:21Speaker 3: garden actually, so you know I could whack that up
- 42:24Speaker 3: for them if they needed.
- 42:25Speaker 2: It, like a boxed sort of boxed pets.
- 42:29Speaker 5: Yes, I don't think you could do that.
- 42:31Speaker 2: It's called a raised garden.
- 42:34Speaker 5: Raised garden, so not a bed like a sleeping Yeah.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's actually very easy, moggie. I've actually done
- 42:41Speaker 3: that in my own house. Just need a couple of
- 42:43Speaker 3: corner posts. Then you get your planks and wood and
- 42:45Speaker 3: just smack them onto the corner post there.
- 42:47Speaker 5: I'm worried about you trying to dig holes for the
- 42:49Speaker 5: posts for you. You get a man over.
- 42:52Speaker 3: It's got a point at end, and you just bang
- 42:54Speaker 3: them into the ground.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm worried about your hand eye coordination.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's fair.
- 43:00Speaker 5: I don't think you could build that, thank you describing.
- 43:02Speaker 2: I did exactly that at my house.
- 43:04Speaker 5: Yeah, then what states are doing there?
- 43:06Speaker 3: Yeah it's better overgrown now, but that's because Hardy J's
- 43:09Speaker 3: not there.
- 43:10Speaker 4: All the pigs have fallen out straight away. Someone else
- 43:13Speaker 4: here needs a garden she had built.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Oh you see, that's something I could do with a garden,
- 43:18Speaker 2: that's true.
- 43:19Speaker 5: How would you start? What would you do to start?
- 43:20Speaker 3: How I'm staying a couple of steaks in the ground.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Get some corrugated iron, yeah, and nail those onto the steaks,
- 43:27Speaker 3: so you know, I put a roof on the top
- 43:28Speaker 3: of it. And then boom, you got your door, and
- 43:34Speaker 3: so you can put a padlock on it as well.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Because there's thieven bastards around kids, you gonna be careful totally.
- 43:38Speaker 12: Man.
- 43:38Speaker 5: You might want to put some w D four on
- 43:40Speaker 5: the door. No, I don't, because I leave that on
- 43:43Speaker 5: there in case those thieven bastards came and I can
- 43:46Speaker 5: hear them because it.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Goes, uh, someone here needs some love shown to them.
- 43:54Speaker 5: For a thousand bass hard to do that. You'll do
- 43:57Speaker 5: that for a thousand Mogi round.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Would really love to have our laundry painted. Hasn't been
- 44:02Speaker 4: done for thirty plus a year.
- 44:03Speaker 5: You don't want to paint your clothes, man, because you
- 44:05Speaker 5: can't wear them. You can't wear them after that they're
- 44:07Speaker 5: covered and paint. No, they mean the laundry area, the
- 44:10Speaker 5: room with the wash never mind, you can do that.
- 44:14Speaker 5: You've done heaps of painting because you remember when you
- 44:16Speaker 5: touched up your house you had to paint over all
- 44:18Speaker 5: the don't touch anything, the holes in the bog and
- 44:20Speaker 5: all that I've You guys got.
- 44:23Speaker 4: This new thing about going on like I'm covering up
- 44:25Speaker 4: heaps of stuff with my house.
- 44:27Speaker 5: My house is amazing, thank you. Oh Jase, maybe this
- 44:30Speaker 5: could be all mowgi. Maybe someone needs a new mixer
- 44:33Speaker 5: installed in my shower. A new mixer, new mixer, Yeah,
- 44:37Speaker 5: what it me?
- 44:39Speaker 2: I could do that, There'd be no worries. Yeah, yeah,
- 44:41Speaker 2: I whacked one in there.
- 44:43Speaker 3: How do you do it skillfully?
- 44:46Speaker 5: Yeah? A little bit of elbow grease, Jase.
- 44:48Speaker 2: But of hard yack.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm afraid of a bit of hard jacket. Keys
- 44:51Speaker 3: with a number eight chucking a mixer there, boom, A
- 44:54Speaker 3: little bit.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Of this, a little bit of that. Bob's your uncle.
- 44:57Speaker 5: It is very vague. Part of me thinks that you
- 44:58Speaker 5: guys don't even know what a mixer is, and you're
- 45:00Speaker 5: picturing like a cake masit keysy, underestimated old Moogi and hood.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Well what is it then? To Keezy?
- 45:07Speaker 2: I don't have time to explain it now.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Keezy, No, I'll just say a few words. What little
- 45:12Speaker 5: Keyzy over there pushing his buttons.
- 45:16Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 45:19Speaker 5: Tune in on Radio.
- 45:22Speaker 3: Guns Rose is there on the Darky Big Show this
- 45:27Speaker 3: Thursday evening. The time is six thirty six. Fellas you
- 45:31Speaker 3: up for a bit of sport chair.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Sports che.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Big news, go on Big News on the cricket front.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Stephen Fleming, ex Black Cap, obviously skipper, ex skipper of
- 45:52Speaker 3: the Black Caps, has just been appointed the English cricket coach.
- 45:57Speaker 5: Wow, which is pretty amazing.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Actually, now, well, I'm going to be honest.
- 46:01Speaker 3: I don't know much about Stephen Fleming's coaching career. I
- 46:04Speaker 3: know he does a lot of TEA twenty and so forth.
- 46:07Speaker 3: What I do know about Stephen Fleming was that he
- 46:10Speaker 3: was a very astute captain. Ye had a very calm demeanor,
- 46:16Speaker 3: was very well spoken. So I'm picking it brings all
- 46:19Speaker 3: of those qualities to the English role. And they love
- 46:23Speaker 3: the kiwis over in England, it would seem.
- 46:25Speaker 5: Well they might love him, they don't love the last one.
- 46:29Speaker 5: I was over in Australia when New Zealand tour over there.
- 46:32Speaker 5: I remember seeing a double page spread on Stephen Fleming
- 46:36Speaker 5: over there, and the Australians absolutely loved Stephen fleet They did. Yeah,
- 46:39Speaker 5: so yeah, he may well be a very good coach,
- 46:42Speaker 5: pretty clued up sort of a fellow. I hope he's
- 46:44Speaker 5: better at coaching than he was at turning fifties into hundreds.
- 46:47Speaker 5: Good got him. But all the best to him, all
- 46:51Speaker 5: the best And it's great to see Keiwi's on the
- 46:53Speaker 5: at the very very top level there make you the
- 46:55Speaker 5: big back. So maybe one day, one day, once he've
- 46:58Speaker 5: made the big money, they'll come back and coach house.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Just on that, by the way, because yeah, Stephen Fleming
- 47:04Speaker 3: was known for that, not turning his fifties into hundreds,
- 47:06Speaker 3: And I remember Steve Wore talking about that and saying,
- 47:09Speaker 3: but he's got a phenomenal record. Yes, you know what
- 47:12Speaker 3: I mean. He's still an incredible play fifties. Very very
- 47:16Speaker 3: frustrating though for him because he was quality. Hey, should
- 47:20Speaker 3: we do a bit of calm games.
- 47:22Speaker 5: On your marks? Gets it go?
- 47:24Speaker 2: Scott? Really are not here?
- 47:26Speaker 7: I come?
- 47:27Speaker 2: Oh rush, take your head.
- 47:29Speaker 5: It's not fear duck duck goose marble? What's on the
- 47:33Speaker 5: Commonwealth games with me? Kizy?
- 47:39Speaker 3: Can I ask easy before you get into it? I'm
- 47:41Speaker 3: sorry but I just need to know because I don't
- 47:43Speaker 3: know genuinely.
- 47:45Speaker 2: What is Duck Duck Goose.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Oh, it's a game, yeah, where you'll sit in the circle.
- 47:50Speaker 4: I think it's on the coverage tonight actually, And basically
- 47:52Speaker 4: one person's it and they walk around tapping people on
- 47:55Speaker 4: the shoulder Duck duck duck And when they hit someone,
- 47:57Speaker 4: say goose, they then have to run around a complete
- 48:00Speaker 4: a full thing of the circle and back through the
- 48:02Speaker 4: gap and back into the middle, whilst the person who's
- 48:06Speaker 4: Goose is chasing them and if they tag them, they
- 48:09Speaker 4: become the.
- 48:09Speaker 5: It's a real unfair advantage for the for the for
- 48:13Speaker 5: the original good. The person who's the old goose, the
- 48:16Speaker 5: old Goosey is on?
- 48:18Speaker 2: Yes? Is that on tonight? Did you say?
