- speaker-0: What up boys and girls, how we doing? speaker-1: What's going on, dude? speaker-0: You know, just another week in paradise over here, man. We got some good games. speaker-1: Speaking of Paradise, before we jump into things, Paradise season two, late to the party, but I thought it and it actually closed it up nicely. The the beginning was really slow and I didn't love it, but speaker-0: Did we finish it? Maybe I didn't finish it. I know that we've been on it. we watched obvious see we love season one. speaker-1: Yeah, season one was unbelievable. speaker-0: yeah, it was real. I gotta I gotta ask Liz if we if we finish it or not. I don't know. Maybe we gotta go back. I feel there's a bunch of shows we gotta circle back on at this point. I feel like we're a little late to the party. speaker-1: Yeah, there's a couple we're watching a lot obviously on parental leave, trying to balance that and speaker-0: There you go. speaker-1: little one. button. Familia, let's go, let's talk. Let's have a it's it's you know, being in a family gotta have difficult conversations. Yeah. And one of them is is to make your freaking picks, dude. Just set yourself a reminder Thursday night. And what else is the family, the commission bros do? We give you the newsletter to remind you. We drop The the podcast. All speaker-0: Right. speaker-1: right. And speaking of that, guys, the newsletter is on Substack. This is really simple. Download the Substack app or go on the website, create yourself an account, and then subscribe to P Forth and Benia Podcast. And then subscribe to us on YouTube so you can get the alerts. and lastly, Instagram. we have the squad ride bet. What is the squad ride bet? Some people still don't get it, but we're gonna get into it. So it's basically a parlay for the entire pool. We take every game of the week, flip a coin, live stream on Instagram. So everyone knows that we're playing fair. Heads is home, tails is away. We do a 14-15 game parlay, and it is astronomical what that payout is. so if you have your pickstones that you're away that week. Then you still have a chance with the squad ride. Mike, what I mean, I think we're doing pretty good with the squad ride, right? We we keep increasing, no? speaker-0: Dude, every week we're getting better, which is actually incredible. I think it was the first week it was six, the second week it was seven, and then this week it was nine. If you include pushes, which the reason why we're including that is because the parlay will still come out. We'll still get paid on that if say the line was three and it actually ended up three, right? The the opponent only beat him by three points. It's a push, which allows us to keep the bet alive. Obviously, you'll win less money, but that's not the point, man. Like the fact that we're at six, seven, and nine, I mean Literally every week we've had a result higher than some of our familia members, which I don't know. That might be a little something on them, but you know what I mean? speaker-1: Look, well, it just shows you, man, the the spread is the ultimate equalizer and it's just fun. It just makes it fun for all of us to have something to ride on. I'm I mean, I was getting pretty hyped because we were looking good for the one o'clocks. We were two games away, actually one game away at one point, going into the four o'clocks. Like it would be interesting our payout. What what would it would have been if we would have got all the one o'clock? speaker-0: I know. Dude, I I'm honestly if we would have got the one o'clock, she would've been going nuts. Like we would have had to like send speaker-1: yeah. speaker-0: something to the whole crew, make sure no speaker-1: email Al or something like a a Slack message. Start a Discord and make sure everyone gets no hit up. so look at the squad ride bet. have fun with it. Come on the live stream with us. We're gonna get a little more consistent with that on the on the timing of it. For sure. Sure. speaker-0: But regardless, just join. You're gonna have a good time, guys. And the whole point is for us to get involved and everyone to get involved. hopefully with a little more luck and the more people that we have will have more luck with that. So we'll see. speaker-1: Well, dude, you know what time it is, man? Our week three winner. speaker-0: And what a winner it was. speaker-1: Sir, this man, woo, De Vera. Let's go. Let's go. speaker-0: There he is. speaker-2: What's speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-2: up, guys? speaker-0: What's going on? speaker-2: Much guys. Hamish pros nice to meet you guys. speaker-0: Nice to meet you as well, man. speaker-1: Silver Fox. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-2: trying to keep up with you guys man. Look at look at this. What the the I feel inadequate with the the partial beard going on. speaker-1: You're very clean there, brother. speaker-0: Pete Pete's got the salt and pepper going, man. I I I'm shows my age actually. I'm a little a little younger, that's all. speaker-2: Yeah, that's right. It's kinda looks like a before and after photo of me, you know what I mean? speaker-1: Dude, I love that you're starting off with the commander's jersey there. I heard you're a big fan. speaker-2: I am, yeah. I am a big fan, so for better or for worse. speaker-1: T give us the story. How how'd you fall into the fandom hood there? speaker-2: didn't have much of a choice, man. I was I was born into it. so my I mean, like just quick story. When I was before I was born, my grandmother actually put me on the season ticket waiting list. This is back in the days, the RFK days, when there was literally a waiting list. And so I had to wait until I was about 20 years old, until my my number was was up when they moved to the new FedEx field, and I was able to actually get season tickets. So I had no choice, man. I was literally. Like it was it was prescribed. But and of course, you know, growing up in the eighties, you know, and then of course early nineties, man, it was it was great, it was good times. And I thought, this would be this would be awesome, man. I'll be going to playoff games every year and cover super super bowls and then Snyder by the team and oof. It's been it's been a long walk through that that desert, man. But speaker-0: Yeah man, Snyder. speaker-1: Sorry. speaker-0: I've only heard bad stories about Snyder. Like I just keep hearing things and we actually know one of one of the athletes that came out of Jersey that ended up playing for them, Junior Gallette. I don't know if he he brings the bell for you, but speaker-2: For the Saints before he came here, he had a pretty bad leg injury, I think, and then we picked him up. Yeah. speaker-0: Yep. And I think he ended up doing like okay, but I think there was a whole whole thing around that. But that is kind of crazy though. That's that's pretty cool story. I mean, at least it's you know, y you have a story. A lot of people don't even have one when it comes to that stuff. speaker-2: Yeah. I got plenty of stories, man. But yeah. speaker-1: Hit us hit us with one one one of your favorite stories before we jump into this past week's success. speaker-2: I'll give you one quick one. And this is I'll I'll kind of cut to the chase here. So this is back when they were awesome, like back in the late 80s, early 90s, and I was probably like 10 years old. I think they went like I think they maybe lost like two games that year. It was it was 91. It was the year they won the Super Bowl, and they lost to the Cowboys. Wow. And like the Cowboys were like one in 15 that year, It was Troy Aikman's rookie year. I'm pretty sure this is the game. This is like like right after christmas and like my mom left the house when my stepdad when the game's wrong because my stepdad was like a huge like fan. He was like total chill, like cool calma collected pretty much like every day of the week except for Sundays between one and four. Before she left the house, she said, Honey, I want you to take down the Christmas tree when like when when the game's over, right? So she leaves skins are losing. I go upstairs. I'm like I'm out of here. They lost the game. Next thing I know, I hear like this big ruckus and like sh shaking and like glass shattering and stuff. And I go downstairs and I see my my stepdad. He took the Christmas tree, lights on, ornaments on, and took it and literally threw it outside, like into the yard with every everything on it. Christmas speaker-1: my speaker-2: tree was down. Yeah. speaker-1: Yeah. I thought speaker-0: I was gonna say. speaker-1: you were gonna say he lit it on fire. speaker-2: I mean he might as well have he might as well have done that and some other things. But yeah, so that was that that that's a memory I'll never forget. Yeah. But speaker-0: That's so good. speaker-1: You're a friend of a a La Familia member for a while now, Andrew Stallings. How do you how do you guys know each other? speaker-2: So he's actually my brother. So the guy, the the my stepfather who was talking about who did the tree thing, that's Andrew's father. So yeah. That's speaker-1: We keep it in the family in this. speaker-2: right, man. I I saw you guys are commish pros and and we're we're we're brothers, man. Yeah. So that's it. That's the connection. Love that, man. speaker-0: Yeah. Drew is he's he's really close. obviously my wife and his wife are very close. They went to nursing school together and Andrew is such a good guy, man. So you guys are you guys are really good people, number one, and I'm just happy that, you know, you're in the whole family here. So I mean, do have you been in the league for a while or is it like speaker-1: First year. speaker-2: My first year, man. Like he literally, I think he he forwarded me the email three times. And on the third I kept on saying, like, all right, I gotta check into this. I gotta I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking about it. But like, you know, sometimes you turn stuff away because you just there's too much, right? And so, yeah. So but I I I saw it, I thought it looked pretty cool. Honestly, I didn't even think about I didn't look at the prize stuff. I was just like, this'll be this will be fun. so yeah, so jumped in and Beginner luck, of course, but here I am. Here I am. Yeah. So it worked out. speaker-0: You're locked in, Dave. Now that's it. You you got your entry fee for another ten years now, so speaker-2: Yeah. Do I do I get a discount? Like, you know, if I do a ten year subscription, like buy now. yeah. speaker-1: Well, maybe maybe we need to get in on that. And then we put your money in a in a highly yield savings account and now you're getting crazy. Exactly. speaker-2: Doing business transactions for something. speaker-1: awesome. Well, this was you had a monster week. I think you lost one game, one or two games? speaker-2: I lost three. But three? I there's a couple of asterisks there though. So yeah. speaker-0: Let's hear it. Let's hear it. speaker-1: Yeah, let's let's talk about the ones that you lost. 'Cause speaker-2: Okay. Well, so so I lost three. the f I started out strong, man. Like and I honestly like I I waffled back and forth on these picks. but ultimately the one that I was probably the most I guess kind of on the fence about was the Chargers and the Bills, right? Because Chargers look horrible so far this year, can't score any points, which is crazy with McDaniel there, but they just they can't get it going. And then the bills have just been steamrolling everybody, right? So but I I picked the Chargers because here's the thing, right? I mean, when the spread's like that, like they want you to pick, they want they want you to pick, you know, the the favorite. So they're just dead exactly. That's a tease. Exactly. It's a trap. So so I picked the Chargers. and they were close, man. Like, how do you not win with five turnovers? I I don't know, but but speaker-0: really fumbling it lately, man. They're they're they're not looking too good. And I think I feel like he's on the he's on the hot seat. I mean you kind of have to say he's on the hot seat at this point. He's only been there for a few years, but they look really bad. speaker-2: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it it's hard because he's such a Harbaugh is such a good coach and I know his teams are never like this this disorganized and like that like poorly structured or what have you. But yeah, I mean that so that one was the first one that that kinda killed me 'cause I ended up losing that by by one point. Right. Yeah that point the spread was I think six and a half and or seven and a half. I they ended up yeah, they lost by they they lost by one. So that was the first one. But then after that Went on a roll, man. So it's I think I ended up getting the next thirteen straight. So I was like, hey, all right, here here we speaker-1: You're saying I have a chance. speaker-2: So kind of putting cruise, there you go, I like that. speaker-0: Then speaker-1: To you get to Sunday night. And you lose Sunday night. speaker-2: Well, you know, I like to say I kind of pulled off on the gas a little bit, right? So I actually it's funny because I'm I'm sitting on the couch. I'm sitting on the couch like right as the game started and I'm trying to do the calculations and I look at I hadn't checked my score all day long, honestly. Like I I I was out running around, I have like, you know, family stuff, like kid soccer games, whatever. finally like lock in and I'm checking to see how I do on the picks, and I see that I had gotten what, 13 right so far. And I was like, whoa, okay. So I went to go look at the the the leaderboard for the week. Yeah, the standings for the week. And I saw, okay, so I have thirteen. The next two or four closest people have eleven. So I'm sitting there trying to figure out all right the math. And I text Andrew, my brother, I'm like, Hey man, I think I think I have a decent chance of like winning this thing this week. And then not but two minutes later I get a text from Pete saying, like, hey, congratulations, winner, winner. So I was like, okay, well. I guess I guess the suspense is over, yeah. speaker-1: Dude, I dude, I texted you and then I texted Mike separately. like I he's like, dude, did you miss this up? And now he you like got Dave's like hopes up. I was like, No, I'm pretty sure. Like I checked this like ten times to make sure because you know, you don't want to do that to somebody. and I was like, even if he gets this wrong, I think he's still good. And that game was brutal. I don't know if you watched it or not. I did. speaker-2: Yeah, I mean, so honestly, and that was I got kind of screwed on screwed on that cue. Right. Because speaker-1: You got streaking the speaker-2: the I mean right. The re so that was the whole thing, right? The whole the pick the the pick at the end when Br the Broncos were going down and that was like third and eleven or something and ended up throwing a flag when the the Rams cornerback ended up getting the pick. So that would have that would have been it, game over. But then they speaker-1: Went down it went back to first down. speaker-2: Yeah, D P I and then and then that was it and they scored. So and even I heard today, like even the the rest acknowledged to the Rams to McVeigh that that they messed up the call. So I I'm still waiting for my phone call. I I wanted fourteen. I don't know. Fourteen wins, man. Come on. speaker-1: Yeah, you would have won real big. speaker-2: Wow. What's speaker-0: What's your guy? speaker-2: the record for you guys? What's the record? Has anyone ever gotten all six games? speaker-0: Someone's gone perfect. speaker-1: Right, Pete? I don't I don't I they've gotten perfect when before we changed it to the spread. Before we used to have straight up this pool started off with like 20 people back in the day. And we had that just straight up. and now we're like it's just it's too many tiebreakers. Like every there's like 20 people tied, and we're like, all we need to go to the spread. so I I that's a great question. I think we gotta we gotta go back to the archives and see who had the best. speaker-0: For the spread, yeah. speaker-1: Yes, yes. speaker-0: I mean honestly, so you you ended up with thirteen, you said, right? speaker-2: Landed on thirteen, yeah. So the Eagles who could have seen the E Eagles and Bears, right? That I don't think anyone kinda saw that debacle, but speaker-1: Bear's not smacking them up like that, my goodness. Highly funny. speaker-0: Case Kingdom had the game of his life. You know, I felt like all the stars were aligned for him. Like, obviously hindsight bias, right? Like once the game started and he started clicking. I was like, man. I don't know if like he was just throwing it off his back foot. Like it looked fake. Like everything was just floating perfectly into the wide receiver's hands. Like Eagles were definitely not doing themselves any fur favors either. Like they've obviously had a couple possessions where it kind of could have gone either way. But even at the end, though, in the first half, I was like. They they charged down after Hertz got hurt and he threw Dalton threw the interception and he came back. I was like Hertz is pissed right now. speaker-2: Yeah, yeah. I didn't think I mean the Eagles sometimes will start pretty slow, right? And then they'll come storming back. But yeah, I I guess like my thing was I didn't think that you could discount Ben Johnson, right? I mean he's proven like he even if he's, you know, got a can of spam, man, he'll make a gourmet meal, right? So I think like yeah. speaker-1: Have you seen our clip that's gone viral on on our account? speaker-0: with Ben Johnson. speaker-2: No. I haven't seen that. No. Okay. speaker-1: If you go to Fourth and Bunia on on Instagram, we had a clip where Miami Dolphin Leonte Carew gave a story. He used to be a wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins and Ben Johnson used to be the coach for the wide receivers. And he gave like an epic, epic speech to Jar Jarvis Landry, Mike. Yeah. And speaker-0: Yep. speaker-1: and we cut it up. Mike cut it up and ESPN picked it up. speaker-2: He's on the radio. speaker-0: It's pretty dope. Like, I guess between all the platforms, it's definitely over a million views. And like all these like sports, like Chicago sports pages picked it up, like all these guys on Twitter are like pulling through it. And I'm like, so mind you, like I'm on a I'm on a plane ride to California and I'm like I'm like, I really need to get some sleep. It was a long night the night before. And then I'm just like looking at my Instagram, I'm like, why am I getting blown up right now? And it just kept going. And like obviously what that's like a six plus hour ride, the entire ride. I'm just like commenting at people, like saying whatever, and it ended up blowing up. So it was it's pretty cool. check it out. Sure. speaker-2: Man. I mean, this is a great I mean, so first off, it's really, really awesome that you guys do this league. I mean, it's 160 people basically. Like, I mean it's big time, man. It's a lot a lot of fun. Yeah. So thanks for doing this. speaker-1: Yeah. Thanks for being part of it, man. We we really look forward to I saw you I saw you subscribed to the to Substack, which is great. We have fun with our newsletter. Yeah, you get a nice little call out in there as well. that's to be dropping tomorrow. and yeah, in the podcast, we always we thought about this last year and we're like, let's get the winner on and let's have them like let's jam with them. So it's pretty cool to hear their stories. we didn't hear how you make your picks weekly. Like, do you have a particular strategy? Like how do you how do you typically go about it? speaker-2: So I usually just go through and and make my picks based on like pure gut feel, like on Wednesday morning, like sort of looking Tuesday night. And then I completely Thursday morning afternoon just go back and redo everything, right? So like sanity check, question myself and no, I I think like I kind of alluded to it at first and I do actually do that, but then like when like the the rationale kicks in, it's I start to think about like two main things, right? So number one the spread if it if it seems too too good to be true, right? Because it it is, right? So I mean you just gotta you you gotta realize what the traps are and what what not. And you can't pick everything in the NFL. I mean like I 13 I thought there's no way I'd ever get 13. I think that's the highest I've ever gotten like definitely gets the spread, right? But you know speaker-0: But speaker-2: you just have to kind of go with your your gut like kind of think what Vegas is trying to get you to pick. And then the other thing is I gotta be careful I don't give away too many secrets. But you know, like division games, man, like when when you see in like division games like like like like Bengals and and Steelers and the Bangles are favored by I don't like four what am I making it up at like four and a half or or six or something. speaker-0: Pretty high, yeah. speaker-2: Yeah, but I'm like there's there's no way, like all those games are always close. You know what I mean? So you you can't you gotta throw a record out the window, you gotta throw a talent out the window. sometimes it's just like a a a dog fight. So you gotta just kinda hop plug your nose and and pick the team that you you think is not gonna pull through. speaker-0: Totally, totally. And it's like it's weird because obviously the CBS app gives you the lines when it first opens and obviously later on it moves. So like I feel like that's also a tell. A lot of people don't like recognize that. obviously if it moves enough, then you're like there's a big advantage there. But I'm with you on that. I think I think any divisional games you really need to be like weary of those things. And then there's always that one line where like last week this This one team was horrible. This team is really good. Like, what does Vegas know about this game? And still people are like, I'm just gonna go with a better team. And then it's like you you start hearing them like, quote, Well, like, how did this happen? What's going on? It's like every year it's the same thing and people forget it. So it's good that you're picking that up. speaker-2: Yeah, man. I mean, the Browns have won two in a row and they've been underdogs. Like, tell me who's picked the Browns two weeks in a row against the spread, right? speaker-1: And they're what is it? They're dogs again at home against the Steelers. speaker-2: Yeah. Rodgers again. Exact guy. Rogers will get picked off by Denzel Ward like three times. Like a yeah. Something like that, right? And that it'll be it'll be closer than most people think. speaker-0: And that example you said before too, it's like if you look at the previous games in this season, obviously Pittsburgh looked really bad, right? So you didn't think that they would be even close to it. Cincinnati's been killing it. Of course, this happens. It's just like it's a really week by week game league. You just gotta like take it one at a time, kind of thing. speaker-2: Yeah, absolutely. speaker-0: What God beat. speaker-1: I was gonna ask, do you have any fun gambling stories that you're willing to share? No no pressure. But outside of the Pickwam League, anything fun, maybe that involves Andrew. If it doesn't involve Andrew, that's cool too. But would love to put him on the hot seat there. speaker-2: man, hold on a second. Did he did he like serve that question? I feel like he served that question up to you. speaker-1: No, no, this is just out the dome. Just like I I I love to get like different you know, fun fun gambling stories that has them. speaker-2: Well, I mean, ironically, pretty much like my top three or five like gambling stories all involve Andrew, so speaker-1: That's all right. speaker-2: So no matter what I pick, well actually, okay, so like quickly. so this weekend was a good weekend, right? So obviously, you know, winning the week you know through the La Familia pool is was incredible. Andrew and I have also been kind of pooling our resources together and taking some pretty big swings on DraftKings. So for the last two weekends, we're up a pretty good amount. So this past weekend, we we made a a pretty good We had a a a good nut this weekend. So it was definitely, definitely nice. And we this is all like between like some basic, like juicy two team parlays and then going as high as like six teamers, like with like a little bit of seed money and then we're hitting those two. So which is usually, as you guys know, especially early in the season, like impossible. Right. Because you have no idea who especially with all the injuries lately. But so we've been threading the needle and and getting pretty lucky. So like our speaker-1: I would be in that group chat with you and Andrew. That must have been saucy when not once you guys got to that last leg. speaker-2: man, off offline I'll text you some of the some of the receipts. Yeah. Yeah. speaker-1: Give us some of those. I don't know if you're following our squad ride, Bet. have you been speaker-2: Yeah. I have. speaker-1: thoughts on it? Any way we can improve it? Do you like it? Do you not like it? Give us some thoughts. speaker-2: That is a great okay. So that's a great question. I actually have thought about that. And so I don't I mean, this is kind of a a bit of a drastic change, but it could be, it could bring some could bring some some little intrigue. So I was thinking, what if you as a another prize for the weekly winner, they pick the 16 team parlay? You know what I mean? So winner of the speaker-0: This past week, so you would be the next one. speaker-2: right. So so now you have an issue with like week one, maybe the commission pick it first or something. But I'm saying like maybe it could be the, speaker-1: Evet speaker-2: you know, the winner each week picks the parlay, tries to carry that luck forward and see how that see how that works out. speaker-1: I like that. I look, I like it for incentives for the it's fun for the person that wins it. They get that they get to go on the podcast, they get to pick the squad ride for everyone, everyone's rooting for that. The only thing I have, the only feedback or I go backwards is typically historically, person that wins the week, the next week they tank. Like it just It speaker-2: man. speaker-1: usually works out that way. We never back to back or we never had someone that like performs really, really well the next week. speaker-2: Okay. All right. speaker-1: But you could speaker-0: That's a challenge, I was gonna say. speaker-2: This wasn't self serving. I wasn't I mean, yeah. Well now you know I mean you basically like you get a little voodoo doll out like a speaker-1: I'm I'm like we we've we've what they call it? We've like w we've looked at the winner and then the previous the previous winner for the previous week and then when their picks come out we try to fade them sometimes, me and Mike. Yeah, because it's just it's so consistent. Like it happens all the time. speaker-0: Seen this, yeah, we've seen this too many times. I mean, we the the years the pool's been going on for 14 years, it's almost pretty consistent. I mean, look, like it's hard to begin with, right? Obviously, this is like a lottery ticket kind of going, but I do like that strategy. The other thing I was thinking about was you I don't know if you've noticed, but on the app you see the percentages, you see the percentages of what the pool is taking. And to me, I'm like, why don't we just go the opposite of what everyone's taking? Like maybe not just for like every single pick. Like some of them I feel like everyone's on the same page like this. And it's like universal kind of thing. But yeah. A lot of the times the people who are winning are going against the majority of the pool. Yeah. So that was another strategy we we started to think about. speaker-2: I'm all for it. Like I I literally had just thought about that I think yesterday and it was like a fleeting thought. But but yeah, man. I like suggestion suggestion box. So you just fit what you want. Yeah. speaker-1: That's right. Some people have said to like just not do all every single game. Do like ten games instead of like whatever fourteen or sixteen games, whatever we're doing. It's like that will give us a fighting chance. I mean, we had nine games. two of them were pushes, but nine of them right last week. Yeah. speaker-2: Yeah, yeah. No, I totally agree. I I mean that was the other thought I did have, but I don't know, man. I like the I mean, it's eight dollars, right? So Yeah, speaker-0: Exactly. speaker-2: it's a it's a through all the ride, man. It's like it's it's like diving through the sofa cushions like the car, man. It's like take all the change you find, let's put it put a ticket in, let's see what happens. speaker-0: Exactly. So when speaker-1: Awesome. Well Nick has his traditional question. speaker-0: Yeah, before we go into that one though, I wanna know if you have any strategy for your total ties. Like I feel like some people are a little weird with that, superstitious. What about you when you when you set up your last game? speaker-2: Yeah, I mean, definitely not superstitious. Honestly, I I think that's probably the one that stresses me out the most. I don't have any problem like going through and like, you know, trying to analyze the game, the matchups, like, you know, the all the stuff we talked about earlier. I don't know what it is about like picking tiebreakers, whether it's like in this or like final four bracket, you know, the NCAA brackets and stuff. Yeah. I'm just like, how do I possibly come up with something that's even gonna be ballpark? Usually I'm way off. So I don't know. I don't have a strategy. I think for this game I looked at I think I I think I took like forty or forty two, something like that. Relatively low scoring for Eag Eagles and Bears. And I was just thinking, okay, most people are gonna think it's gonna be a high scoring game, right? Between the Eagles running it up on the Bears and maybe the Bears like, you know, getting some garbage time stuff. So I just said, All right, well again, counterintuitive, right? Or at least counter to the the the popular thought. It'll be lower end and I just I've picked forty, so but I don't know. Nothing nothing exciting or sexy there. speaker-0: right. All right. Well, nah, the the reason why I asked is like I P I don't know who it was, that person who won that last time, but they're like, We we do forty-four every time. Like there's no like moving her around. I'm like, okay. I'm like, you're kidding, right? And like they actually won on the tiebreaker last year on that. I was like, dude, you are I was like, you just used all speaker-2: I wanna take them to the roulette table in Vegas. So that's yeah, they got their number, they never move. speaker-0: Exactly. Exactly. All right. Now on to our traditional question. We wanna know what your victory song of the week is. This song should describe your performance of this week. speaker-2: You know what? I that's a good one. I have two. I got two. And it's like you couldn't even get more extremes. So you guys can pick one. But on one end we have God's Plan by Drake. I mean all right. I mean how I mean, come on. 13. I don't know. I I'm I'm I'm going for the record. We'll see. I don't you tell me what it is, but I'm gunning for it. and then on the other extreme, it's Get Lucky by Daft Punk. So I so somewhere in between there, right? But I mean there speaker-1: Nice to get speaker-2: you go. speaker-0: Great songs, honestly. Yeah. That's perfect. All right. Well we're just gonna have to maybe, I don't know, flip a coin to to figure out the song. speaker-2: Whatever whatever you feel like most describes me, go with it, yeah. But speaker-1: Dave, this is a pleasure, man. it was a pleasure meeting. I feel like we all gotta get together. You should come to the watch party this year. I don't know where you're based out of. speaker-2: I'm in I'm in Virginia outside of D C. speaker-1: All right. speaker-2: What's the what's the watch party? What what is that? What's that? What's that? We speaker-1: We get the whole pool together and like everyone we pick a Sunday out of the year and we just watch all the games together at a bar. Yeah. speaker-2: yeah, absolutely. Count me in. speaker-1: Yeah. Yeah, that'd be sick. We're speaker-0: We gotta speaker-1: trying to get some of like the professional athletes that like have joined the pod to maybe come to the watch party with us. You know, take some pictures, shake some hands, kiss some babies, have some fun, put some bets in. but speaker-2: Let's do speaker-1: So yeah, that would be dope. We're gonna we're gonna nail that date. We gotta nail that date soon so we can make sure we give people ample time. speaker-0: Yeah, it's it's tough during the holidays and stuff, but like we do really wanna make it an event that people are excited about. so maybe I'll ask Drew whenever you're you're down in the C T area and we'll make sure it happens then. speaker-2: Yeah man, looking forward to it. Really had a good time talking to you guys. Nice to meet you and thanks for the lead, guys. Appreciate it. speaker-1: Yeah. Best of luck for the rest the season. Yeah. speaker-2: Red Sox. speaker-1: Sorry, sorry, sorry. Zero one right speaker-0: All right then. speaker-1: now. Yep. man, dude That could have gone better. speaker-0: No, Dave is Dave is great. You could feel the Andrew energy connected. I love it, man. you I you gotta love it. He I feel like he had so many good stories there too. And you know, again, another pro of this this league, right? You get to meet new people and just I'm proud. I'm proud that we've been able to kinda like do this whole thing and have it build to where it is now and I don't know, just excited about it. Have have that feeling right now. speaker-1: Dude, it's the Silver Fox thirteen wins. Dude, that hair Dave Silver Fox Vera. speaker-0: Looking good, man. You guys are blessed. speaker-1: Yeah, I was I was gonna say, I was like, that's how it's gonna look, bro. And then I like that. You're looking forward to it. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: That's silver it's almost it's like almost perfect. Like it's like it's like he dies it or something. speaker-0: Yeah. speaker-1: Bro, let's get into these games because we had some freaking bangers this week. speaker-0: yeah. yeah. Well let's start off with the first one, dude. We got the Falcons and the Packers, right? Thursday night, and I was able to see your unbelievable setup at the house. My goodness. Can you tell the people what I'm talking about here, Pete? speaker-1: Look, we we biggest dream ever was a little home theater and he got the details in and we ended up watching Thursday night football with the Banillas, all in one room. It was awesome, awesome movie theater setup and stadium seating, surround sound, we had the popcorn going, we had the candy, the sodas, all that stuff, the work. So we had a blast, man, and and we got a a game that was like a surprise. speaker-0: I know. speaker-1: Keep speaker-0: Falcons came to play. I mean, what do we say? We always talk about these primetime games, right? And I think that the underdog usually shows up. And honestly, the Packers didn't look good against the Jets, man. Let's just call a spade a spade. Like if the Jets weren't a team that usually fumbles the ball in the fourth quarter, then we would we would have won that game. I mean, we're up by ten with 10 minutes left, right? And I think not to say that the Falcons are going to be the team that like blows you out of the water, but I I just think that You are in the beginning of the season, so everyone's feeling it at this point, right? You get another loss and then it just feels like the season's over. So they have a lot of talent on their team, man. People are forgetting that. they just haven't been able to put it together. Plus, the quarterback was down, so it was the first game with Penixon, and he ended up killing it. Honestly, I kind of look like an idiot putting that in the the newsletter. No, the newsletter the previous week 'cause I was dogging on Penix and Tua. I put as the dumber and dumber photos. speaker-1: You know what, Mike, this is another consistent thing that pe the pool can learn from too. whenever we dog teams in the newsletter, they kill usually the next week they win. speaker-0: Dude, so so true. speaker-1: It it would happen to me all the time in the past seasons. And I'm like, man, I'm I'm I'm connecting the dots here. yeah, yo look most of the time people overreact on Thursday night and again that's a Super Bowl game, but the Packers just didn't look in sync. Like they were throwing balls and people like like the routes were off. Like I don't know, man. Tisha, talk to us. RJ, talk to us, man. The rest of our Packer fans in in the in the pool. What's going on? speaker-0: Yeah. They gotta figure that one out. Definitely gotta figure that one out. What else? What o what are we getting at? speaker-1: Commanders, Seahawks. Woo, Mariota, Resurgence. speaker-0: Dude, thirty-three thirty one, I think is the actual score of that one. that was wild, man. Mariota is he's nothing to sneeze at, dude. He's guy's been in the league for a really long time. He knows what he's doing. yeah, I thought this was interesting. We should have talked to Dave a little more about that game. He probably would have been going speaker-1: nuts. Yeah, yeah. Shoot. Yeah, be better about that. Talk about with the fans. Yes, I like that. I like that. I noticed good call. You see, always brainstorming here on Fourth and Bania. dude. Yeah, I I mean, is there anything more that is a cross it was a cross country flight? The ones we we talk about this all the time. Yes. I I I was a bit surprised on how they came out there. I just usually that happens, Marcus Does win that first game and then the second game is really does speaker-0: That's a ver that's a very good call, Pete. And I think that this is this is exactly one of those things where you start to buy an end to little on the commanders because of that. And it's a no bueno. All right. Like every team gets lucky a little. And the the travel thing I think was a big piece of this. So Yeah. speaker-1: Versus the Patriots. speaker-0: Jags risk the Patriots. I mean, Patriots don't look good. I I think the Jaguars, I think the real story here is that the Jaguars are a really good team this year. I think that was a big question mark going into the to this season, whether they were gonna continue on their streak that ended last season. And I think it's safe to say that they're good. They're they're on that streak right now. speaker-1: Mm. speaker-0: And the Duval and Travis Hunter had his first touchdown of his career. speaker-1: Really? speaker-0: That was his first? Well, he remember he got hurt last year for a good portion of the whole season. And speaker-1: He gets going. speaker-0: obviously he plays both defense and offense, like so speaker-1: He wanted that ball back. Did you see that footage? Yeah. The ball boy was like, no, you're not taking this ball. And eventually he did get it back. speaker-0: I mean, come on. It's ridiculous. speaker-1: What are you doing, dude? What are you doing? What are you doing? Yeah, lots of questions there in New England, man. New England fans in the pool should be asking those questions like they should be a little bit worried. the even the coach is saying is is starting to worry. I know. So all right, let's go to Rio, man. Let's go to Brazil. speaker-0: Quick shout out actually on the on the Patriots when I was watching the Sims complete podcast. So Matt and Phil were talking about Drake May specifically. And they were like, look, like the average fan's not gonna see this, but you can see a hitch in his throwing pattern. Like he is like basically second guessing himself. And they're basically saying, like, when this happens, it's usually just a lack of confidence. Like you start to lose it a little. And they're like, This is like they were both on the same page. We're clearly seeing that this is the case kind of thing. So I thought that was super interesting. And now it's like just something I kinda wanna like look out for in the next game. So take a look. Let me know if you see it. See it now that you hear that. So speaker-1: Let a shout out complete. and it's cool to see that th these little technicals that you could like gives, you know, that you can be like, man, this is the defense sees it too. The only thing is is that they're gonna go over that in in the tape this week. You know, it doesn't necessarily mean he builds his confidence back up immediately, but those are different things that he could start to change and start to have confidence there. But yeah, he if he keeps this up, man, he might find himself on the bench. speaker-0: Totally. speaker-1: All right. Rio got speaker-0: Brazil. speaker-1: Ravens and Cowboys. Woo. Actually let's leave one out because that's this is one of my it's for a different segment, okay? Okay. speaker-0: Sounds good, sounds good. Those Rams. speaker-1: That was Sunday night. we're going fast forward a little bit there. But dude, that that game, I I don't know if you got to see it the end of there, but the refs really did him wrong. We were talking about it with Dave. It it was really bad, Mike. speaker-0: I don't know if I saw the the ending live. I think I saw a couple of recaps afterwards, but it was ba it it was really that bad. speaker-1: my god, they had no business beating them. And they were they were killing and then they tied it. Well they tied they tied it pretty early. I'll give it that. But then the f the calls were really bad. It was just it was just so obvious. You know, it was one of those prime time calls when they were at I think they were at home. speaker-2: It was just bad. speaker-1: that speaker-0: hate I hate to see that. I hate to see the refs kind of dictate the game and I could hear dad in in in my ear right now. The fix is in. speaker-1: The fix isn't. You're right. Steelers, Bengals, man, Bengals has been on a fire, but Steelers division game, pull it out. speaker-0: I mean, yeah, look, Dave said it, right? Divisional games, you just gotta really throw out everything that you've seen previously and give the the worst team a you know, a shout out of the doubt there. I think honestly though, I I just I don't see it. I don't see how the Steelers can like really compete like this kind of going forward. I just don't think that they're good. I think Aaron Rodgers is old. don't get me wrong, I really think he can he can sling it, but like I just something's off about them, you know, and I think that this is one of those where people start being like, okay. The Steelers are on it. And then and then what happens? But with that said, just like Dave said, right, they play the Browns this week. So Thursday night two, see, this is what speaker-1: On Thursday night football. People are gonna be really you know, pumped up. The Browns just won at home. speaker-0: Yep. And they're home, right? The Browns? speaker-1: It's back to back home games. I don't I just don't know. I don't know. The Steelers fans travel really well too, so they might they might buy up those tickets. speaker-0: Really interested to see that spread. we will definitely check that out. We got a Giants the Giants. speaker-1: First Titans twelve to seven Giants. speaker-0: Dude, Giants don't look good. Jameis doesn't look good. The fact that they had they thought that it was a good idea to pick up JJ McCarthy is a big problem. To me. I mean, look, he's young. He's young, like maybe he still has some time with with Harbaugh as a mentor. Maybe he you know things changed there and sure, maybe, but I don't know, man. When he was playing he he looked really bad and I don't think the Giants have time to kind of just like get this guy up to speed, you know? Like I think that they think that this trade was gonna happen and then they were like their seat their season's gonna get saved in a way. Like it doesn't just work like this, it takes a long time. No, he is. He is. And I I think they're gonna have like another two weeks. But if he fucks up in any way, his leash is this big, dude. Yeah, yeah. speaker-1: 100%. And and he's he he slings it, you know, so he's gonna throw some interceptions. That's just gonna happen. That's just the way he plays. But I I don't know. I I actually think that everyone's dogging the pick, and it's one of those for me, like, hey, he's a backup, he's kind of a fifty fifty, you know, maybe in in in Harbaugh system he he could thrive. You never know. You just don't know. speaker-0: Yeah, I mean, look, I don't think they scored a touchdown in this game. That twelve is on all all kicks. So I my thing is this. I think we all said that speaker-1: How bad team. speaker-0: Exactly. I exactly. I think that we all said that he just needed a week of prep and then he's gonna look different, and he didn't look different. So the one thing I will give him is that there it was a nor'easter, right? Courtesy to to Steve Dorn, another commissioner, the origin of us creating this pick pool. Shout out to him. Him and his kids went to the game beast for going by the way. Did you see my email to him speaker-1: Yep, yep. speaker-0: that I saw you remember that game? speaker-1: Yep. I can't do I can't like Kudos to Michelle for for like going with them and the kids there. Like that's speaker-0: Always shout out to wifey man. Always holding it down. speaker-1: Chicago Bears, Eagles, Monday night football. Monday. speaker-0: Yeah, I mean w Case Kenum? Game of his life? speaker-1: I love it. I love when that happens, man. It's like the best thing in sports. speaker-0: It really is the best thing in sports, man. It really is. The the the post game interview, he had his daughter there and that was really cute. hits different when you have a daughter too. So I think I don't know. It's pretty cool, man. Like again, anything can happen when you have a seasoned quarterback and with the and with a coach like Ben Johnson. I just think like the guidance there helps and him his creativity in terms of like creating plays that you just don't see the defense is not ready for. It's really cool. It gives anyone a an opportunity. And again, I think you just need a week of prep for it to show, right? Like, I think anyone kind of come in and mid-game is gonna be tough, but like clearly they were on their third string and he was still able to kind of do it. That that shows a lot on Ben Johnson's part. I think we just need to like keep reposting that video every time he does something good. We said we were gonna do that. We have to do that. speaker-1: Yep. Yep. He's I I I love I have I have a feature on it. I have the Bears to win it. All speaker-0: You have a future bet on the Bears to win it all? Yes. I mean, I think that's too public speaker-1: It's a long shot, but I'll speaker-0: y. You know what I mean? speaker-1: It's got pretty good odds, man. It's probably got even better odds now that Caleb's out for a couple of weeks. speaker-0: So did we miss any games here? I feel like we're missing some games. speaker-1: Yeah, we're missing a couple games here, but I figured that's okay. We c we we covered most of them except for the J E T S. you know what? Step in the right direction, but still falling short. speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. Well look, I think at this point we should just go to the segment that's called I was the speaker-2: HE speaker-1: It's close. speaker-0: You know why? It's because my this close to the game or my this close matchup of this week was the Jets plus six and a half, of course, losing by seven. I don't know how many times I could say this, like we do look better, you know, like despite what everyone's saying, I I genuinely think we look better. did you see that catch by Sadiq? speaker-1: Yeah, my gosh. It's like he just like s Superman like just dove out. speaker-0: Yo, he has a catch just like that in college. It's literally exactly like that, Pete. It's exactly like that. It's so sick. Dude, the guy, the guy's unreal. I mean, clearly he's not a traditional size of a tight end, a lot smaller, but he's just yoked. And he he clearly has a knack for the position. yeah, man, I'm I'm really excited about him. I think it does take time. Like, as much as people are like, look, the Jets fans have been in this for so long and We kind of need results now. Like the reality is, is any other season we would have given up and we would just look like trash towards the end. Like we were in this game. We came back. We fought back. And there's a clip. I love seeing these clips by the way. There's a clip of Jared Goff at the end of the game, like giving DAP to all the guys, and he's talking to them. He's like, You guys are really onto something kind of thing. Like, I got he's like, I could feel it. And then he goes up to the coach who who was obviously his Aaron Glenn was the defensive coordinator at the Lions and was like. The team's got your identity, like you're doing something right, like just keep going kind of thing. And you can tell it was like not this like bullshit kind of like they obviously have a relationship. So I just feel like those things have some truth to them always when players are just talking to each other. And I hope that the Jets players kind of feel that because genuinely I I feel like that's the case. And like we l like now it's like we have the Bears next, but honestly, this could be one of those hype things, right? Case Kingdom looks really good, everyone's all on bottom, and then Jets come into town and flip the script on them. So it 'cause like these are a couple games in a row now, right? Now the guys are itching. Now they're like this isn't last year where we like just weren't in the game. This is a year where it's like we could win these fucking games. Like these things are fixable. So that's kind of where I'm at. speaker-1: Ryan did say that too. He's like, This is different. You can tell, like, yeah, they're not gonna win. They're not gonna go to the playoffs this year. But I'm telling you, this is a stepping block that actually means something. speaker-0: And one last piece is all of our draft picks are like kind of trending in the right direction. Other than the Colts 20 this past week, dude. The Packers. Yeah, the Packers are not doing too well. Like, dude, if if we if if this continues, we're gonna have three top three picks in the top ten. And then obviously picks top ten in the first round and then picks in the other rounds as well. Dude, to me I don't know. Like it depends on where Aaron Glenn goes with this. Like I I think like firing him would be a little of a setback. Let's let's wait until the full year happens. But if it does happen, then I to me it's like just throw the bag to Tomlin, man. T and like just get him in. What better sell is it like you have all these players, you have all this, and you got three first round picks. Go. speaker-1: That would be amazing because you then you have Harbor, speaker-0: Yeah. And then there's a whole storyline there. speaker-1: Yeah, the storyline there would be great. speaker-0: And they were in the Super Bowl against each other? I'm talking crazy now. speaker-1: I mean, dude, the the draft is to draft good talent and then to get immediate impact is so hard in the NFL. So that's the other part. That's the other part that doesn't get me really excited with the draft picks and stuff. I'm more excited about the trajectory right now of like being in games and being competitive. That's probably speaker-0: Totally. But sorry, one last thing. Gino is also showing everyone that he's not the old Gino at the Raiders. Like he's playing, dude. He's balling right now. Balling. And my thing is the difference now is if he if you get a you know top-rated quarterback next year, you let Gino play another year. You let him play maybe a year, you know, two years if he does well. So he can sit behind him and just learn. Learn, learn, learn. Like do it like all these other franchises have done it. Why? Are you trying to like rush the process? Yeah. We that's it. We we we've been waiting for a long time. We could wait another two years if if he ends up killing it. Imagine he gets in the playoffs and then like he gets hurt and then like they they get some experience in, like they have some experience on the belt, they've seen it, they can kind of talk to him through it. Like, I don't know. I just feel like that's the way, man. But speaker-1: You're not wrong now. You're not wrong. But yep, losing by a hook. there. That was a tough one. Especially because they came back and they tied that ball game up. Really? my I was this close was the Cowboys plus two and a half, man. that was a going back and forth. high powered offense. and the game, I think it was like four seconds left or something like that. And typically people knee it out, they'll go play in overtime. No, Lamar Jackson gets the ball. throws it. speaker-0: No, amazing. speaker-1: Like half the field, catches the ball, clocks timeout or whatever, and then one second in, they hit the field goal to win it on this turf that wasn't even turf like we don't even know what the heck that thing was. that was insane. That was insane. Actually, in redstone, Scott Hansen was like, and this game's gonna go to overtime, and then they're like, correction here. So the Ravens and then he went through the old set L. my god. speaker-0: believe honestly like and that's how like I don't know every team wishes that their quarterback would do right it's like you still have some time like just take a chance go down do he executed like it was nothing it was just like whoop got into field goal range bang hit it and then the celebration afterwards speaker-1: Did you see it now? speaker-0: Dude they were all like you know like in soccer you score a goal and everyone like runs to the player who scores the goal. They were all doing that and then at the end he does like the the jumping and turning and like you know the I'm forgetting the the athlete but dude Sick. So sick. You could tell. I got to pull that out. The the speech afterwards in the locker room was sick too. Cause like Lamar, not that he's not known for like speaking and all that, but he this is like the first time he actually like was really going in. He's like, the season starts now, kind of thing. And everyone was like, dude, it was sick. I was like, shit, like it's getting real now. speaker-1: You got me thinking about my pick and I loving it even more. Ooh, all right. All right. All right. All right. Let's talk about the fade bros segment here. All right. Look, I don't know if I'm gonna fade us this year. We might, we might be turning the speaker-0: Better than the ship around. speaker-1: ship around. That's right. Let's talk about week three, how we did. we had a 50% week there. So my lock of the week was the Panthers. My gosh, I love the Panthers and They just couldn't pull it out. They were going back and forth. They made it a game. I think Bryce Young got hurt at some point. Did he? But I think so during the game. I think you're right. Still played because I guess he played my own. He wasn't he was a hundred percent. our long shots though, both of us had the Falcons plus six and a half and they won outright. So I I love that. Your lock of the week was the six and a half Jets losing by a hook, you know? That sucks 'cause then that would've put you at three and three with me. speaker-0: By the way, my picks this week, your boy is in third place overall, baby. speaker-1: Ooh, yeah, you know what? Really quickly, let's do that. Let's go. Let's give a shout out to the standings here, right? The overall standings. Let's take a quick look. Biage. speaker-0: Yeah. I was hitting him up actually. I was like, dude, what's the deal? He's like, I see you cooking. speaker-1: Biage, top of the list. We got Vera, top of the list. York Bell. Yo, York Bell's sneaky. speaker-0: Man. We need to hit up York Bell ASAP because he's figured speaker-1: He's got a little AI going on. He's got a little model going on. speaker-0: Got some something going on because he's dude, he's he was up in the rankings last year too. Every week. Yeah. speaker-1: Yeah, he's he's doing his thing. D Dirzy Durz always doing his thing. speaker-0: Always doing his thing. He's like the he's like the one that made us change the ranking, the payouts, because we're like, yo, my man is killing every speaker-1: Yeah, he is. He's like he he he gave us like AI rules, Shaq rules. We gotta we had to change the rules for that man. Yeah, we got we got Drew doing his thing with thirty. Dom Longo thirty. Buzzio thirty and Nez thirty, man. Nez just demands I don't know what he's doing. I gotta really I gotta talk to him, man. Yeah, speaker-0: He did say the AI pixel. speaker-1: no, he's doing his AI stuff, but like I need your model, I need what what are you doing? Like I wanna know the exact speaker-0: What's the prompt? speaker-2: You know. speaker-1: going back to week four. speaker-0: Yes. speaker-1: Our lock of the week and long shot of the week. So I'm gonna go with the Ravens minus eleven. I believe it's eleven and a half. Right speaker-0: I'm gonna look it up. speaker-1: now, because I'm looking forward Eleven and a half. You're going with the Ravens. Eleven and a half. Yes. and I don't like to take the big spreads. I haven't I haven't been I've been taking the dog every single time. So here we go. But it's time for you guys to go with the Titans. Lamar as a fit home favorite. Ten Lamar as a home favorite plus ten is like speaker-0: I heard that. speaker-1: something ridiculous, like nine and three, or he's got a real, real good record. speaker-0: No, I think it's isn't it the opposite? speaker-1: Like he when he ha when he's favored by a lot of points he does well. So he has a dominant nine and three against the spread when favored by double digits overall in his career. speaker-0: Yeah. Interesting. That's very speaker-1: They use twelve and at home. speaker-0: That coupled with the little nugget that I gave you before. speaker-1: Exactly. That's what makes me feel really confident in that pick. so that's my lock of the week. And then my long shot of the week, going with the Browns. Let's go with with back to back wins at home against the Hall of Famer in his last season. That one's a long shot, man. 'Cause I do feel like the Steelers they're still the Steelers. You got TJ Watt, like does TJ Watt have a big game? He hasn't had one in in the past two weeks. speaker-0: no no. I mean he I mean, it's only been three weeks, but like the first week he had a big game. He had the first week. speaker-1: Week he had a big game, but then the last two there I haven't seen any of the highlights from him where he like changes the game. Maybe he did do something against the Bengals and I missed it. But those are my lock of the week and long shots of the week. speaker-0: Love it. Love it, bro. I'm gonna go with the Seahawks minus seven and a half against the Chargers. look, I I just I just don't I'm not buying it, man. I think the Chargers are just not good this year. I have I feel like they haven't been able to figure it out. They're not focused and the Seahawks coming off of a loss last week. I think they need to bounce back and what better way to do that than be home and and get the W against a a struggling team. So I think that they're a seasoned team. They're coming off the Super Bowl and they're really good. They just need to figure it out. So I think that they will. So sets my lock of the the week is Seahawks minus seven and a half. And my long shot of the week is my JETS Jets Jets Jets again. I think they're they're on the cusp here. I think everyone's gonna be buying the Bears because of what they did on Monday night. And technically that's a that's a short week for them, right? Sunday to Monday. Yeah. So I also think that that's a little piece of advantage. Yep, a little advantage there. So I'm gonna go Jets plus three and a half for my long shot of the week. You heard it here first. Boom. speaker-1: Take us away. Take me away. speaker-0: Ooh great so speaker-1: To where I always heard it could be. speaker-0: Okay. That's gonna do it, folks, for episode three of Fourth and Bonilla Podcast.
