- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Scrub a dub dub in the tub. Tub tub.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's interesting that we've entered the tub, like we've gone
- 0:21Speaker 2: from the o R and now we're just in the tub.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Makes sense, does it? Yeah? I think it totally does.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Don't you think? Oh, cuz we were in the o
- 0:34Speaker 1: R when we were watching Great Anatomy all the time.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Now we're not there though, Okay I did, I of course, Okay, well,
- 0:39Speaker 1: now we're more in the tub.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Missed the season premiere, I did.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'll tell you are so.
- 0:49Speaker 2: One of Hailey's best friends who's now I've acquired as
- 0:52Speaker 2: a friend. Laura was a guest star on it. She
- 0:54Speaker 2: was excited, the pregnant daughter of the mom who was
- 0:58Speaker 2: all like the protester.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Oh redhead. Yeah, yes, okay, wow.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Our friend Laura. So we watched it.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Was it good?
- 1:08Speaker 3: She was great all weekend. You couldn't have found time,
- 1:14Speaker 3: couldn't found forty four minutes.
- 1:15Speaker 1: So first of all, I was just in bed all
- 1:17Speaker 1: day yesterday. I was not in bed all weekend. Actually
- 1:20Speaker 1: I was quite busy.
- 1:21Speaker 3: But on Sunday until all day I.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Only got up. I literally only got out of bed
- 1:27Speaker 1: to do two loads of laundry and make almond milk.
- 1:30Speaker 1: That's a full day for me.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So that's like impressive to me, Like, you're not You're
- 1:34Speaker 2: not making me feel like you did nothing.
- 1:37Speaker 1: All these plans for Sunday, we were going to clean
- 1:38Speaker 1: out our closet and then we were gonna have like
- 1:40Speaker 1: a family meeting, and we did nothing, Like none of it.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Do you think.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Robbie like secretly celebrates on the family meeting plans go awry.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I'd like to think not because we really needed.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I think he I think that getting him there might
- 1:55Speaker 2: be a might he might.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Be like, oh, but I know I enjoyed that. He's like,
- 2:00Speaker 1: oh we did we did that?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, which is everything in life, which is most things,
- 2:04Speaker 2: all the things you don't want to do.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 2: No, I'm not about you. I'm just saying, like, in
- 2:08Speaker 2: life you don't want to do, like turning out the
- 2:10Speaker 2: calls that hate that.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But by the end of it, I'm like, God, all right,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I'm not tripping over everything. Yeah. Nice.
- 2:16Speaker 2: So anyways, Yeah, you didn't have time to watch Grace though,
- 2:18Speaker 2: because it was well no.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But clearly from your review, I didn't miss it. I
- 2:21Speaker 1: guess I.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Well, we told Camilla we don't want her and Link together.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So okay, spoiler alert if you're watching, I don't her
- 2:30Speaker 2: being pregnant with his baby is like devastating to me
- 2:32Speaker 2: because I don't.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Mind those two. Why does everyone hate those two?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I just don't like them together. You're not giving vagina tingles, No,
- 2:38Speaker 1: not at all at all.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Very attractive people, And what is television for if not
- 2:42Speaker 3: to watch very attractive people?
- 2:44Speaker 1: It's for the vagina tingles.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, There's been plenty of attractive people who have had chemistry.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I don't feel it with them.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I really felt it with her and Alex and I
- 2:54Speaker 2: haven't really felt it since then with her for except
- 2:57Speaker 2: for the few scenes I saw with oh Skyler Aston,
- 3:03Speaker 2: but he got she got the ach from him.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Here here is a frustration for me with this show.
- 3:09Speaker 3: How many times are we going to do the bit
- 3:11Speaker 3: We're in the season finale everyone's fired, and then in
- 3:14Speaker 3: the season premiere everyone's rehired. It just seems like a
- 3:17Speaker 3: waste of time.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Mark is Marca having some issues with the storyline.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I was like, oh no, it's the season finale. We
- 3:29Speaker 3: have to come up with a cliffhanger, quick fire, everybody.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Let Meredith come in and save the day.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And she left the show already.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Well she sure is on a lot now.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Okay, but here there was something that we talked about
- 3:42Speaker 2: at epic Con with Adelaide Kine. The Jewels and Mika
- 3:47Speaker 2: are getting together made out at the end, and that
- 3:50Speaker 2: was actually probably that might get me back into it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I love a wl W relationship to bring me back in.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Watch the premiere, I will get I will do it.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Watch it from my friend Laura, she was great, Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Watch it before we have a podcast where we talk
- 4:04Speaker 3: about it.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Because I had a very busy weekend all day watching
- 4:09Speaker 1: the Americans, and nobody wants this, Nobody wants me, nobody
- 4:13Speaker 1: wants Nobody wants this, which, to be honest, is way
- 4:16Speaker 1: better than Grey's Anatomy right now.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Sure, okay, I would say one of the best, but
- 4:22Speaker 2: I want it. That's like a whole conversation. So I
- 4:24Speaker 2: don't want to just like skim over that.
- 4:26Speaker 1: No, no, we won't skim it later. I'm just trying
- 4:28Speaker 1: to tell Mark that I had a lot of television
- 4:32Speaker 1: to watch and a lot of uh season finales from
- 4:35Speaker 1: the Americans, which leave you with great cliffhanger.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I love the Americans. I just loved it seven years ago.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You know what's crazy, That's what does she loves. There's
- 4:46Speaker 1: the storyline right now is like basically with this this
- 4:49Speaker 1: medical outbreak and it's giving COVID. But it was the
- 4:54Speaker 1: series ended in twenty eighteen, so it's before COVID ever happened,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and it's like, really weird. They have to wipe everything
- 4:59Speaker 1: down with bleach and the using gloves and I'm like,
- 5:01Speaker 1: this is very like meta. Yeah is thatta the right word? Sure,
- 5:05Speaker 1: it's like before it happened? Yeah, thank you, good job
- 5:10Speaker 1: giving meta.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, so you're watching The Americans.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And nobody wants this, and nobody wants this and only
- 5:18Speaker 1: murders in the building and now I'm about to start
- 5:21Speaker 1: Love is Blind.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Okay. So there was certainly time for one episode of
- 5:23Speaker 2: Grace Anonymy certainly time, yes.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeh flies by those forty four minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 3: it's just good to be back at Grace Law Memorial
- 5:31Speaker 3: in my opinion, Yeah, I agree, I agree.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I do want to re engage our fandom because I
- 5:37Speaker 1: do want to be an extra. I do, like, we
- 5:39Speaker 1: can't go out on this podcast without being extras on
- 5:42Speaker 1: Gray's Anatomy. At some point, I'm more.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I don't know if the podcast will be over or
- 5:47Speaker 2: if Grace will be over before, but we have to
- 5:50Speaker 2: we need to make it happen, just for like the story.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah right, like I am not going to go down
- 5:54Speaker 1: without a fighting.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Well, then we probably should start talking about it again.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yeah, which is why we'll watch The Prefirie again. Okay, okay,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I mean watch it period.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Okay, So your busy weekend included TV. But did you
- 6:09Speaker 2: I feel like you got dressed up and you went
- 6:11Speaker 2: to any event, to.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So many events? When I tell you, Saturday, I went
- 6:14Speaker 1: to three different events. I don't get this how So Well,
- 6:20Speaker 1: we were supposed to go to New York. We canceled
- 6:22Speaker 1: on a New York trip.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So then it was like, oh, we'll have a RESTful
- 6:25Speaker 2: weekend here.
- 6:26Speaker 1: But I already knew we had all these things that
- 6:29Speaker 1: we were invited to this weekend, So I knew once
- 6:30Speaker 1: we canceled our New York trip that we were going
- 6:33Speaker 1: to go to those events. One of them was a
- 6:35Speaker 1: two year old's birthday party, which was cute and fine
- 6:37Speaker 1: and like cute right, like balloon animals, et cetera. Then
- 6:42Speaker 1: we went to a twenty year vow renewal for one
- 6:46Speaker 1: of Robbie's friends. He was a groomsman in their wedding,
- 6:49Speaker 1: which was actually really cute and like their kids are
- 6:52Speaker 1: like older and their kids spoke and I was a mess.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And apparently one of her best her best friend is
- 6:57Speaker 1: like America Ferrera, and so America Ferrera got up there
- 7:00Speaker 1: and gave this like beautiful speech about their.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Love and like give the speech from Barbie.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I was like tried. I was like, babe, that's the
- 7:08Speaker 1: that's the you know, he doesn't really understand. And then
- 7:12Speaker 1: he doesn't understand celebrities because then Catherine Foster sang there,
- 7:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, and I was like, do you know
- 7:20Speaker 1: who that is? And Robbie like had no idea, so
- 7:23Speaker 1: bless his heart, he tries, he tries. Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 1: That was really really fun and sweet and it was
- 7:31Speaker 1: like a perfect amount of time. And then after that
- 7:33Speaker 1: we went to bar Mitzvah that we were at till
- 7:35Speaker 1: one thirty in the morning. I was just rage rage.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I had no idea, Like I didn't grow up having
- 7:43Speaker 2: I grew up in the South, so like, I didn't
- 7:45Speaker 2: have any Jewish people literally around me at all, so
- 7:47Speaker 2: I knew nothing about Jewish culture. And I feel like
- 7:50Speaker 2: Haley can't believe this. She's like, literally all my friends
- 7:53Speaker 2: are Jewish. All I was ever trying to do was
- 7:54Speaker 2: get invited to like bar bar mitzvahs and bot mitzvahs.
- 7:58Speaker 1: So I never I never had it growing up because
- 8:00Speaker 1: I went to Catholic school until eighth grade. Then I
- 8:02Speaker 1: went to a public I didn't know. I didn't grow
- 8:04Speaker 1: up around bar mitsvuzz bombitsvus either, but.
- 8:06Speaker 2: They're a huge deal for thirteen year olds.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Sixteen Oh oh wait, no, sorry, thirteen year right, yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 1: fifteen sixteen oh, sixteen is Taniera, but that's even fifteen
- 8:20Speaker 1: sixteen is drive.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Sixteen year license, sixteen is drive. It's giving, but I'm
- 8:30Speaker 2: chronically online when it comes to some of these things
- 8:32Speaker 2: that there's this clip for this girl going she was
- 8:35Speaker 2: trying to say, I have a purse, but she goes,
- 8:37Speaker 2: I have purse, and so then it became this whole
- 8:39Speaker 2: thing where people I have purse.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I miss Anyway, in my algorithm.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Sixteen is drive sixty drive, so yeah, it's a.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It's like a lot of money. It's a huge celebration. Yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 1: this one was. This one was giving wedding. It was
- 8:53Speaker 1: like a dance floor bar. Like they were passing around
- 8:56Speaker 1: champagne and swag and like it was like a whole
- 9:00Speaker 1: It was a whole thing.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So is it mostly a party for the adults kinda
- 9:04Speaker 2: and like the kids get to have a great time
- 9:06Speaker 2: and feel celebrated.
- 9:07Speaker 1: But it's like there's too there's like the air hockey
- 9:10Speaker 1: and like there's like stuff for you know, Papa shot
- 9:12Speaker 1: and there's stuff for the kids to do too.
- 9:13Speaker 3: So that.
- 9:15Speaker 1: There was like there was like a kids there was
- 9:17Speaker 1: a like a kid's buffet, you know, like chicken tenders
- 9:20Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah, no, they know their audience. No, but it was
- 9:27Speaker 1: really fun. We ended up. Yeah, so we stay till
- 9:29Speaker 1: one thirty in the morning. And so that's why you
- 9:32Speaker 1: were audio yesterday. It was just like I need this,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I need to sleep.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I feel like my weekend was much different than yours mine. Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Haley's six. So I've been like playing nurse. I
- 9:44Speaker 2: baked banana bread. I just I feel like I was
- 9:48Speaker 2: doing dishes or doing laundry or taking care of Haley
- 9:52Speaker 2: all week ad I need.
- 9:53Speaker 1: To read the text message that Becka sent to me
- 9:55Speaker 1: and Robbie yesterday. Oh yeah, because it was so sweet
- 9:59Speaker 1: and just so I thought it was sweet. Oh, she goes,
- 10:07Speaker 1: She goes, Haley is sick and wants bone broth. But
- 10:11Speaker 1: every bone broth has onion or garlic in it. I
- 10:13Speaker 1: personally don't want to take this on, but I'm willing
- 10:15Speaker 1: to try, depending on how difficult it is. Do you do?
- 10:19Speaker 1: I have to touch bones? And then Becca goes, I
- 10:24Speaker 1: don't know if I can do it, but feels like
- 10:26Speaker 1: asking was a generous thought. And then Robbie says, you
- 10:30Speaker 1: have to get very into the bones, and then Beca goes, hell,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I don't think I can, yeah, I And then she goes, no, no,
- 10:37Speaker 1: I've heard all I needed to hear.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Yeah, do you really?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to wash them? Oh well, yeah, it's
- 10:45Speaker 1: like anything.
- 10:46Speaker 3: You can't just go to the store by bone broth.
- 10:48Speaker 2: No, they all have onion or garlic broth. Robbie I
- 10:52Speaker 2: ended up finding a Robbie makes bone broth.
- 10:55Speaker 3: How do you make it?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Like sweat simmers like it takes like twenty four hours.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You basically have to like, yeah, you have to like
- 11:04Speaker 1: blanch it in the oven, and then you have to blanch.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I think that's what it is.
- 11:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I don't think there's anyone here that can correct you.
- 11:12Speaker 1: So I'm just going to plant it in the oven
- 11:15Speaker 1: and then you put the bones with all the other
- 11:16Speaker 1: stuff in.
- 11:17Speaker 3: You get the bones, you order.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Them online on like bones dot com or something. They
- 11:22Speaker 1: deliver them to your house. Them to your house. Yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: they're frozen. They're frozen bones, not calm.
- 11:30Speaker 2: No.
- 11:30Speaker 4: I don't think that's where he gets skateboard company.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I don't know. I have no idea where Robbie gets them,
- 11:36Speaker 1: but he gets them online. So, and they only ordered
- 11:37Speaker 1: them on Tuesday, so you like order them on Tuesday,
- 11:39Speaker 1: they come on whatever day, and then.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Tuesday you bone on Tuesday.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I had a general idea that it was gonna be
- 11:47Speaker 2: too much for me, But I was like, she was
- 11:50Speaker 2: so miserable and all she wanted was like a bone
- 11:52Speaker 2: broth or soup she could have.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So I called around.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I found a Korean place that made a brisket bone
- 11:57Speaker 2: broth that didn't have garlic.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Oh, nicew we got something. We sourced it.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, I can't I love you so much,
- 12:04Speaker 2: but I can't touch bones, and.
- 12:06Speaker 1: The bones I think are so much better, Like I
- 12:07Speaker 1: don't like touching a raw chicken, like a whole chicken
- 12:11Speaker 1: makes me like.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Right, nothing about it was interesting to me. I just thought,
- 12:16Speaker 2: if I'm having to handle like the carcass and stuff,
- 12:18Speaker 2: I can't, I won't be doing this.
- 12:20Speaker 1: So love you so much, babe. Tax No no, no no,
- 12:24Speaker 1: I got all I needed.
- 12:26Speaker 2: It's all I needed. But we binge nobody wants this.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I feel like we watched a lot of TV.
- 12:35Speaker 1: What else anything else? Goods Australia.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Finally, it was really good the first season, right, yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 2: it was amazing.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Who won that again?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Spoiler alert Alex Oh yeah when the guy looks at
- 12:52Speaker 2: her because she had to betray him.
- 12:54Speaker 1: So you know he was on Love Island this season. No,
- 12:59Speaker 1: we're not talking about the same season. Okay, yeah, sorry,
- 13:02Speaker 1: y Yes, that's the UK. Oh they all jumble to
- 13:08Speaker 1: a lot of traders a little time. Anyways, we watched Nobody.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I had already gotten through nobody wants this. But then
- 13:12Speaker 2: I was like, Haley, you have to watch us. It's
- 13:14Speaker 2: such an easy show.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I watched it twice. It's so good. It's so easy
- 13:20Speaker 1: to watch. Yeah, but I feel like I learned.
- 13:21Speaker 2: A lot through your relation about your relationship through watching
- 13:24Speaker 2: the show.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You already know everything about my relationship, but.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I feel like I understand more of like the going
- 13:32Speaker 2: into coming into the Jewish culture. But I also felt
- 13:35Speaker 2: like anyone who's coming into a culture or belief system
- 13:39Speaker 2: that's different than how they grew.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Up could relate to that show for sure.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Because I was thinking, I was wondering thinking about Haley
- 13:45Speaker 2: meeting all my family and my family being very Christian
- 13:48Speaker 2: and conservative and her coming from like a very artistic
- 13:51Speaker 2: liberal upbringing.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Totally and trying to like fit in.
- 13:56Speaker 4: You know.
- 13:56Speaker 1: It's kind of like my big factory wedding. I never
- 13:58Speaker 1: saw that. Mhm.
- 14:00Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 14:01Speaker 1: That's a tragedy. It's like one of the finest films
- 14:07Speaker 1: of all time. Were not you don't think so? It
- 14:10Speaker 1: was fine hand If it's top ten movie of life.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I haven't said top ten, but it's pretty good going
- 14:17Speaker 4: to see that movie, and.
- 14:18Speaker 3: It was good.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Tony was in it, yeah, my rish nemesis, right right, Yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 4: I can't remember the actress name, and I'm sure he's
- 14:29Speaker 4: a fine guy. John Corbettbottah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I love him.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You were left alone there, which brings me to my
- 14:37Speaker 2: next topic, which is us picking on Tanya.
- 14:40Speaker 1: We're going to talk about nobody wants this later. Yeah Okay, fine, fine, fine, fair,
- 14:44Speaker 1: But I want to talk about us picking on you.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I really have a serious thing I want to share
- 14:50Speaker 1: about that.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Okay, well we'll do it when we come back from commercial,
- 15:11Speaker 2: all right. So in the Facebook group, an anonymous scrubber
- 15:17Speaker 2: posted that they feel like she's roasted. That they feel
- 15:20Speaker 2: like Tanya is roasted too much on the podcast. It says,
- 15:23Speaker 2: is anyone else overly sensitive and empathetic and feel like
- 15:26Speaker 2: they roast our girl Tanya too much on the pod.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Bless her.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I know it's always in good fun, but I feel
- 15:31Speaker 2: like they never give her a break or quit picking
- 15:33Speaker 2: on her. So I was. I tried to ask Tanya
- 15:37Speaker 2: before the podcast. I was like, do we pick one
- 15:39Speaker 2: you too much? Like do you want can we lay off?
- 15:40Speaker 2: And she goes, let's talk about it on the podcast.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, we'll bring it to the.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Pod and she just sitches something very serious to say
- 15:47Speaker 3: to this right now. So freaking news Flora is yours.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I felt very seen by this Facebook post and I
- 15:53Speaker 1: did want to address it head on. It had a
- 15:55Speaker 1: lot of support, lots of support, and I felt supported,
- 15:59Speaker 1: but they yeah, I didn't have anything serious. I just
- 16:03Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be a really good tease, you're
- 16:09Speaker 1: getting better, like a fine wine.
- 16:11Speaker 2: My response was like, I'll check in, but I promise you,
- 16:14Speaker 2: like I think Tanya does things knowing hoping that I'll
- 16:19Speaker 2: bring it up on the podcast.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I do say things sometimes i'm here that I know
- 16:24Speaker 1: are gonna like tickle your pickle. I know what you're doing.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I know what I'm doing.
- 16:30Speaker 2: And I think people don't realize that there is this
- 16:35Speaker 2: funny like aloofnous blonde thing that you do.
- 16:39Speaker 1: But you're very smart. Yeah you're. Nobody's saying here or
- 16:43Speaker 1: that I'm not smart, but the contrary actually.
- 16:46Speaker 2: In there said Tanya's Tanya is very smart. She knows
- 16:49Speaker 2: what she's doing. Oh yeah, So I'm saying, like you
- 16:52Speaker 2: you know when you're when you're gonna get a response
- 16:54Speaker 2: from us.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Oh I know, I know I am, but we.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Do appreciate you looking out anonymous. I was about to
- 17:02Speaker 2: I was actually going to send it to you and
- 17:03Speaker 2: be like is this you.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I also don't, especially on the podcast, I don't really
- 17:09Speaker 1: take anything so like personal. I don't. And if I were,
- 17:14Speaker 1: like if I did get my feelings hurt or if
- 17:16Speaker 1: you guys did do something that like went too far,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I would definitely say something. I'm not the type of
- 17:20Speaker 1: person that would like hold it in right, and I
- 17:23Speaker 1: feel like I have in the past. I held it
- 17:26Speaker 1: in no like I said like, hey, lay off this,
- 17:28Speaker 1: or like I feel like I have said that before.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Well, No, we've had literal conversations where it got to
- 17:33Speaker 2: a point where we were like, okay, let's cut. You know, yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 2: like you you expressed, I also can read you like
- 17:39Speaker 2: I know when it's getting when it feels serious.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Right, which it often is not, very rarely is serious,
- 17:47Speaker 1: which it very rarely is.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it was very joyful about somebody that you can
- 17:51Speaker 3: playfully make fun of and they laugh harder than anybody. Yes,
- 17:54Speaker 3: my wife is like that. When I point out something
- 17:57Speaker 3: silly that she does, she laughs harder than anybody. And
- 17:59Speaker 3: that's she laughed the hardest at those moments.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But I also, like my favorite thing about this podcast,
- 18:04Speaker 1: the favorite, my favorite message that I get from anybody
- 18:07Speaker 1: is like your podcast just makes me feel silly and
- 18:10Speaker 1: goofy and smile and laugh and like that's what I
- 18:13Speaker 1: want our podcast to be. Do you know what I mean?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Like I don't want to come here and like have
- 18:17Speaker 1: like a heart to heart about the issues of the world. Right,
- 18:21Speaker 1: No issues of the world are like laying off me.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Like I just feel like it's like funny banter, funny
- 18:26Speaker 1: banta and I wanted to stay like that. But I
- 18:31Speaker 1: appreciate everything now for me. Yeah, we all appreciate it. Yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 1: But I was also like, but I do know the
- 18:42Speaker 1: thing is somewhere else we are, so you go to
- 18:45Speaker 1: a different face. We are such calling You and I
- 18:49Speaker 1: are such opposites, but I know, like I know when
- 18:52Speaker 1: I'm going to get a reaction out of you. Yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 1: certain times, That's what I'm saying.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Like you knew when you texted me asking if I
- 18:58Speaker 2: wanted boiled eggs for the plane, you knew what reaction
- 19:02Speaker 2: you were going to get.
- 19:03Speaker 1: So to be fair, I was offering them to you
- 19:06Speaker 1: because I don't like to just show up and not
- 19:08Speaker 1: have for you. But I also don't want to bring
- 19:10Speaker 1: like ten boiled eggs on the flight if I if
- 19:12Speaker 1: you're not going to eat any right, right? That was
- 19:15Speaker 1: more just like a kind gesture from the heart. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: all right, bad example, but yeah, I enjoyed that. But
- 19:26Speaker 1: I appreciate everybody looking out.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Speaking of lighthearted, funny podcast, the show Nobody Wants This
- 19:34Speaker 2: is based on two sisters who have a podcast. Correct,
- 19:38Speaker 2: it's actually based on the Foster sisters, Aaron and Sarah,
- 19:43Speaker 2: whose step mom performed at the bar Mitsv're out. Oh,
- 19:50Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. I got confused with your events.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Two separate events. Thank you so much.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Catherine McPhee is her maiden name, yes, but anyway, their
- 20:00Speaker 2: podcast is hilarious and I felt like Aaron created the podcast,
- 20:05Speaker 2: and I mean created Nobody Wants This.
- 20:07Speaker 1: It's based on her story loosely based, which I really
- 20:10Speaker 1: want to have her on our podcast because I have
- 20:13Speaker 1: so many questions because when something's loosely based on your life,
- 20:17Speaker 1: obviously it's not. You can't take everything at face value, right,
- 20:21Speaker 1: But there's so many nuanced things that I just have
- 20:24Speaker 1: so many questions about. It was just so well, like
- 20:27Speaker 1: her husband is not an actual rabbi, right, I.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Don't think I was looking it up, but I don't
- 20:32Speaker 2: think so. But I don't know I'd love to have
- 20:36Speaker 2: her own to discuss it. But I like, I felt
- 20:41Speaker 2: like so many of the scenes were almost improv because
- 20:44Speaker 2: they were so funny and everything.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Everyone was so quick with it that I was like,
- 20:49Speaker 1: this was so well written. Yes, so well written. The
- 20:52Speaker 1: storyline is like so perfect, but also the casting infection,
- 20:57Speaker 1: like how I need to also know how did they
- 20:59Speaker 1: get I feel like Adam Brody hasn't done anything and
- 21:02Speaker 1: forever am I wrong on that?
- 21:04Speaker 3: I was surprised to see his name say something so buzzy.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, Like I feel like he's been totally mia
- 21:10Speaker 1: Like I feel like somehow he got brought out of
- 21:12Speaker 1: the woodwork for this, which I appreciate me to made
- 21:15Speaker 1: that role.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I also feel like I would have never put Kristen
- 21:19Speaker 2: Bell and Adam Brody together, Like I don't think they
- 21:22Speaker 2: ever would have been two people I thought of putting
- 21:24Speaker 2: in a romantic comedy together, and they had the most
- 21:28Speaker 2: insane chemistry.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Yeah. First kiss, Yeah, I have chills thinking about it.
- 21:34Speaker 2: It was one of the best first kisses I've ever
- 21:37Speaker 2: seen on TV in like years, yeah, I would say years.
- 21:40Speaker 1: And I also think I think why I like this
- 21:43Speaker 1: story so much is because it's not like nineteen and
- 21:45Speaker 1: twenty year olds falling in love, right, They're like in
- 21:47Speaker 1: their thirties. And I don't know, I just like that.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It reminded me so much of you that before I
- 21:53Speaker 2: realized it was based on Aaron Foster's life, loosely, I
- 21:57Speaker 2: thought someone who was a scrubber listened to her. I
- 22:00Speaker 2: was like, this is getting freaky me too, because everything
- 22:05Speaker 2: about it reminded me of when you first started dating
- 22:08Speaker 2: Robbie her character when she would be like, is me
- 22:12Speaker 2: needing to know about things that were going to hurt
- 22:15Speaker 2: her feelings?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Right from his past?
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Oh, it's like you. You look and you ask so
- 22:21Speaker 1: many questions that you don't want to know, but I
- 22:23Speaker 1: like needed to know too. I know, I feel so
- 22:25Speaker 1: close to Aaron Foster. Yeah, I really feel like y'all connect.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a question because I feel like there's this.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Interest. Wait really quick before you ask your question. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: feel like we should just preface that the story is
- 22:40Speaker 1: a love story between a Jewish rabbi and a Gnostic
- 22:44Speaker 1: sex podcaster.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:47Speaker 1: So it's like a love story like the two of them.
- 22:49Speaker 2: It's just like, yeah, meeting someone who couldn't be more
- 22:52Speaker 2: different than you and having to navigate belief systems and
- 22:57Speaker 2: expectations of who you thought you were going to end.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Up with, also like community and people's expectations because he's
- 23:03Speaker 1: a Rabbi and so like there's a lot of pressure,
- 23:05Speaker 1: a lot of pressure to marry a Jewish you know,
- 23:07Speaker 1: another Jewish girl.
- 23:09Speaker 2: So I just am curious because he reminded me how
- 23:14Speaker 2: chill and like go with the flow and like whatever
- 23:17Speaker 2: and reassuring. He was reminded me so much of Robbie,
- 23:20Speaker 2: And I'm like, is this Jewish men or is this
- 23:23Speaker 2: just coincidental that he reminds me of Robbie and how
- 23:27Speaker 2: he like handled the relationship thing.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah, did you feel that totally? Yeah? I literally feel
- 23:33Speaker 1: like the show was written about my my, my relationship
- 23:37Speaker 1: with Robbie like that.
- 23:38Speaker 2: It was like to a t But also the ex
- 23:40Speaker 2: is that he has an ex and her name's Rebecca,
- 23:43Speaker 2: So I was like, okay, right, right, not that I'm
- 23:47Speaker 2: not the ex, but right, the ex, but still the name.
- 23:50Speaker 3: There's that show. Then we really are onto something.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Yeah, is there a plucky sound engineer?
- 23:54Speaker 1: That's they don't show much.
- 23:57Speaker 2: They have the podcast manager who's our friend, sharing Cola,
- 24:00Speaker 2: who I'm like.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Obsessed with Yeah, she's very funny.
- 24:04Speaker 2: She's like the podcast manager. And that's really all they
- 24:07Speaker 2: show I think about.
- 24:08Speaker 1: They don't show so much about the podcast.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Didn't show them like in the studio and a little
- 24:12Speaker 4: bit a little record. I'm I'm excited to see that.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not that always driving me anything radio on
- 24:17Speaker 3: TV shows drives me crazy because there's always really unrealistic
- 24:21Speaker 3: stuff happening, Like no one's wearing headphones, Mike, it's always
- 24:25Speaker 3: just like that.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Guilty of that.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I actually didn't pay attention to that nuance.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I don't think they have headphones on, but I could
- 24:30Speaker 2: be Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 3: And you could wear the earbuds, like it's not even
- 24:36Speaker 3: hard to do anymore.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Right, they should bring in like an actual podcast person
- 24:40Speaker 1: to like consult consult yet.
- 24:41Speaker 2: But actually when we do the podcast in the other room,
- 24:44Speaker 2: we don't wear true factphones.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Axpect us throw on the fact. I'm not wrong.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I like having headphones better because I can hear myself
- 24:51Speaker 2: and know my levels.
- 24:52Speaker 1: But not to not to create a spoiler alert, but
- 24:57Speaker 1: this show has given me like a new direction in life.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Oh wow, tell me more.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Are you going to write a story? A screenplay?
- 25:07Speaker 1: About you and Robbie. You're involved, so oh yeah, huh,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you're gonna be involved in what You'll just wait and see.
- 25:15Speaker 1: The clocks are ticking.
- 25:18Speaker 2: When the idea comes mid podcast, we'll get we'll.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Get back to this, the roller coasters riding in my brain.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, did you ever have you felt pressured or was
- 25:29Speaker 2: it important for Robbie to marry a Jewish girl?
- 25:33Speaker 1: So, I mean, spoiler alert, Robbi's divorced and that relationship
- 25:38Speaker 1: was with a Jewish woman. So I feel like there
- 25:42Speaker 1: was never once, even when I first started dating him,
- 25:46Speaker 1: there was never any expectation or even like conversations about
- 25:51Speaker 1: me converting or not being Jewish. He obviously knew from
- 25:55Speaker 1: day one that I was not right. And it's so
- 25:58Speaker 1: funny because it is everybody else around me that was
- 26:03Speaker 1: so concerned and so like, he's never gonna marry you, Like,
- 26:08Speaker 1: don't get too into this, it's not gonna work out.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You're not Jewish. And I'm like, guys, I'm pretty sure
- 26:14Speaker 1: he knows I'm not Jewish, Like right, I'm very certain
- 26:18Speaker 1: that he knows, and and he's still dating me, And
- 26:21Speaker 1: so I think that I have to take what he
- 26:23Speaker 1: says at face value, you know what I mean, Like,
- 26:25Speaker 1: I don't think he's trying to swindle me or anything here,
- 26:29Speaker 1: Like I think that it's very much fine. It's out
- 26:34Speaker 1: in the open. It's out in the open. Yeah. So
- 26:36Speaker 1: it's it's interesting because I relate to her character because
- 26:38Speaker 1: it was never him. It was never him that made
- 26:41Speaker 1: me feel that way. It was like everybody else around
- 26:43Speaker 1: me that made me feel that way. Did anyone ever
- 26:45Speaker 1: call you a shixa?
- 26:46Speaker 2: No?
- 26:47Speaker 1: I never heard that way before. A shiksah. Yeah, no,
- 26:51Speaker 1: I never heard that.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Did you feel like I felt like the first kiss
- 26:56Speaker 2: the way you describe your first kiss with Robbie, That's
- 26:59Speaker 2: how I pictured it, I know, I'm telling you, or
- 27:02Speaker 2: like her face was just like holy cow. Yeah, Well
- 27:07Speaker 2: was it about that kiss that made it?
- 27:09Speaker 1: Well?
- 27:09Speaker 2: The TV kiss? What was it that made it so good?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Because we watched people kiss all the time. Why and
- 27:13Speaker 2: everyone's talking about it.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I think it was the anticipation, Like he didn't just
- 27:17Speaker 1: go in for the kiss. There was this like build up,
- 27:19Speaker 1: build up and like tension in the scene and then
- 27:23Speaker 1: we put his hand on her face. That's what it was.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I like and some people just look good from that
- 27:28Speaker 2: angle and they both look good from that angle together.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it was good.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Do you remember what's is Robbie's first kiss, the best
- 27:35Speaker 2: kiss you've ever had in your life, ever.
- 27:37Speaker 1: In my life. And he put his hand on my
- 27:39Speaker 1: head too, like it was like the same thing.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Wow.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was in the car in a car yeah, wow,
- 27:46Speaker 1: good stuff.
- 27:47Speaker 2: I know.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Honestly, I just have so many questions for her. And
- 27:50Speaker 1: I also feel like she's like a little ahead of
- 27:52Speaker 1: me in the process because she's married baby. Yeah, but
- 27:55Speaker 1: I think she converted. I think she converted to Judaism.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel like you would have a really good conversation.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Aaron and I. Yeah, I think so too. They're really
- 28:06Speaker 1: funny on their podcast.
- 28:07Speaker 2: But I just felt like it was so well casted
- 28:09Speaker 2: because I've listened to their podcast, and I felt like
- 28:12Speaker 2: the timing and the dynamic, the dynamic and the beat
- 28:16Speaker 2: of how they speak to each other was so like
- 28:18Speaker 2: I felt like Kristen Bell and this the girl that
- 28:20Speaker 2: played the sister who I know is a huge actress
- 28:22Speaker 2: and I'm blanking on her name.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Yeah, she was from Succession. Yeah, and she was a
- 28:26Speaker 1: miss Maisel. I think she was.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yeah, But I didn't watch either of those, but anyways,
- 28:31Speaker 2: she was amazing.
- 28:32Speaker 1: If you were ever a fan of the show The
- 28:34Speaker 1: Good Life, it's called The Good Life, right the yeah
- 28:38Speaker 1: places a good Place? Thank you Kristen Bell. There was
- 28:42Speaker 1: another girl, Janet, her character from The Good Place is
- 28:46Speaker 1: also in this show. She like brought her in. I
- 28:48Speaker 1: think who is that? She was one of the friends
- 28:51Speaker 1: that she introduced when she brought Noah around her friends. Gotcha. Yeah, Okay,
- 28:58Speaker 1: it's really good. I can't recommend it. This sound track
- 29:01Speaker 1: was like done by what's her name, Estie? I think
- 29:03Speaker 1: Esti from hind Pame she did the soundtrack.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I was going to say the budget for this, this
- 29:09Speaker 2: show with the music alone and the shots, Yeah, cinematography
- 29:14Speaker 2: filming in La in general is crazy expensive. So the
- 29:17Speaker 2: fact that they just filmed the whole series really impressive.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's always fun to play. Hey, I've been there.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Yeah, like I went to Mama Shelter and oh hi
- 29:28Speaker 1: oh I love Yeah.
- 29:29Speaker 3: By the way, that sister is played by and I
- 29:31Speaker 3: didn't know her name, it's a great name, Justine Loupe Schamp.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Oh I did not know.
- 29:36Speaker 3: She played Willa in succession.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Didn't roll on you.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Never heard that one? But good for her.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah, Kristen Cavalary is single again. She is, she's single.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Who knew it was coming?
- 29:52Speaker 3: How did you have anything serious to say about her
- 29:54Speaker 3: being single?
- 29:57Speaker 2: No? But oh.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Do you know who I do have? Shoot, I do
- 30:02Speaker 1: have something serious to say about dancing with the stars?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Who?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Right back? All right?
- 30:26Speaker 2: So Kristen announced at Alex Cooper's Unwell tour.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Which have you seen clips from? That is like a
- 30:34Speaker 1: full production. It's like there's a musical act every dancing.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yeah, there's like men dancing. You can tell that she
- 30:42Speaker 1: has a one hundred and twenty five million dollar contract
- 30:45Speaker 1: with serious ExM because the girl's got budget. Yeah, it's
- 30:49Speaker 1: pretty impressive. Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Anyways, Kristen announced, She.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Didn't announce it. That's what I don't understand because I
- 30:57Speaker 1: was reading confirmed it. Sorry, she confirmed it, Okay, she
- 31:00Speaker 1: said something like uh, she said something along the lines
- 31:05Speaker 1: of like I wasn't ready to talk about her, she
- 31:08Speaker 1: was going to keep it private or something. But like,
- 31:09Speaker 1: I never have seen anywhere that it was like confirmed.
- 31:14Speaker 2: I saw a video where she said it, but I
- 31:16Speaker 2: couldn't hear it. So everyone in the comments was saying,
- 31:19Speaker 2: that's what she's basically confirming that to a single.
- 31:22Speaker 1: But then where did the rumor come from? Sam? Do
- 31:25Speaker 1: you know any of this?
- 31:26Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen? Samantha Stavros, esteemed producer.
- 31:31Speaker 5: There were reports that were coming out in different news articles,
- 31:36Speaker 5: like you know, it was like E News or people,
- 31:38Speaker 5: and then it was confirmed quote unquote by Kristen By
- 31:42Speaker 5: saying that she didn't want to talk about it, but
- 31:43Speaker 5: she is single.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Where's that clip? I think it was from It's from
- 31:49Speaker 1: the show, I know, but there's somebody must have gotten
- 31:51Speaker 1: video of that, Like, yeah, that's surface. There are no
- 31:59Speaker 1: articles that I kept, you.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Know, I every time I say ginger Chan, I anticipate
- 32:04Speaker 2: a giggle for Marganese.
- 32:06Speaker 1: It's that's really my favorite thing.
- 32:08Speaker 2: I say it like hyping myself up, knowing I'm going
- 32:11Speaker 2: to get that chuckle.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yeah, she is single and ready I'm hoping ready to mingle.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I love Chrison Cavalary, I know, but I just saw
- 32:19Speaker 1: a podcast where they were talking about like having the
- 32:21Speaker 1: sex of their lives, yeah, and like their.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Future together, and really I feel like there was a
- 32:26Speaker 2: lot to talk about that, So I'm like, what happened?
- 32:30Speaker 1: I never feel like she talked about future with him.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I feel like they I did hear about the best
- 32:34Speaker 1: sex of their lives. No, I think she.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I think she asked him and he's like, well, obviously,
- 32:39Speaker 2: I'm so in love with you or something along those lines.
- 32:42Speaker 1: But everybody acts so shocked by this, and I'm like that,
- 32:44Speaker 1: I don't who's acting shocked by this? TikTok. I don't
- 32:50Speaker 1: think anyone's acting shocked. But that's the whole point of dating,
- 32:53Speaker 1: is like you're dating someone to see if you want
- 32:55Speaker 1: to be with them, like people break up.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I just had this conversation. I was on Shannon Beverage's
- 32:59Speaker 2: podcast and it's not out yet, but we were talking about.
- 33:02Speaker 1: This, how like there's this should want me was straight,
- 33:10Speaker 1: all right, whatever, But we were.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Talking about how like people are like, oh, she's always
- 33:19Speaker 2: dating someone new or dat like how people have an opinion.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't get it, so you'd rather someone
- 33:24Speaker 2: just get married and be like, all right, I guess
- 33:26Speaker 2: I dated too many people, so I got to lock
- 33:28Speaker 2: this one down or people are gonna have an opinion
- 33:30Speaker 2: on it.
- 33:31Speaker 1: It's such a weird process.
- 33:33Speaker 2: But I think this specifically was interesting because of the
- 33:38Speaker 2: just the dynamic of the two individuals age.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Nobody thought this was long term, and maybe you tend
- 33:43Speaker 3: to think that about every relationship.
- 33:46Speaker 1: The distance.
- 33:49Speaker 3: A great time for both of them, and I think
- 33:51Speaker 3: that's exactly what it was.
- 33:52Speaker 1: It was, and I hope she finds someone even more
- 33:55Speaker 1: incredible in the future because I love her. She's so
- 33:58Speaker 1: I love her too, and she's to be just fine,
- 34:01Speaker 1: just fine. She had her fun.
- 34:03Speaker 2: She was like the hot guy on this hot TikToker
- 34:07Speaker 2: Montana boy.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Now she's moving on to mister mister right, we hope, yeah,
- 34:14Speaker 1: or mister next or mister next next right, yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 2: The next right. So you have an opinion on Anna
- 34:20Speaker 2: Delby on Dancing with the Stars.
- 34:22Speaker 1: A serious take? What was your my take? Yours? I
- 34:26Speaker 1: never really have anything serious to say, but everybody was
- 34:32Speaker 1: up in arms over her answer on Dancing with the Stars,
- 34:36Speaker 1: And so if you missed it, she got kicked off
- 34:39Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars and Julianne Huff reaches the microphone
- 34:42Speaker 1: and says, what are you going to take aways? Calling you,
- 34:46Speaker 1: what are you going to take away from this experience?
- 34:49Speaker 1: And she leans over and she goes nothing.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I found it to be so honest and like hilarious
- 34:58Speaker 1: because I just find it like not everybody needs to
- 35:02Speaker 1: be polished, not everybody has to have this like mystical
- 35:05Speaker 1: takeaway from Dancing with the Stars, Like all these people
- 35:09Speaker 1: that were on Dancing with the Stars are coming out
- 35:11Speaker 1: and saying that it was so disrespectful and to the
- 35:13Speaker 1: cast and the crew and like not everybody is going
- 35:17Speaker 1: to have a good experience in everything, do you know
- 35:19Speaker 1: what I mean? Like that is her truth and it
- 35:23Speaker 1: is what it is. I yeah, I don't know.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I think giving her any more of a platform is
- 35:27Speaker 2: just kind of like a man.
- 35:29Speaker 1: And I also happened to her.
- 35:31Speaker 4: She was like a convicted Yeah, she served jail time
- 35:34Speaker 4: and she's on counse arrest for like wire fraud.
- 35:37Speaker 2: And yeah, she was like basically like getting money, like
- 35:42Speaker 2: illegally getting money.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Like she was like what's it code when you're like.
- 35:49Speaker 4: She was convicted of grand larceny. So she was like
- 35:52Speaker 4: telling people that she had money and I think getting
- 35:56Speaker 4: in to invest maybe.
- 35:57Speaker 1: But didn't have actually had any money.
- 36:00Speaker 4: And she was like staying in like fancy hotels and
- 36:02Speaker 4: then saying like oh, I'll pay you later and the
- 36:05Speaker 4: like not paying at all.
- 36:05Speaker 2: She's just a scam artist basically, yike, but anyways.
- 36:09Speaker 4: I have an Anadelbie thing. But she was on Paris
- 36:12Speaker 4: Selton's podcast like a couple of years ago, and she
- 36:16Speaker 4: was in jail, and I had to set up like
- 36:19Speaker 4: interviewing her from jail, so that involved like face timing
- 36:22Speaker 4: her possible. So I still have the apps on my phone.
- 36:25Speaker 4: There's an app called like there's an app that you
- 36:28Speaker 4: can use to communicate with like your family from jail,
- 36:32Speaker 4: and I had to like test it with her the
- 36:34Speaker 4: day before and it was really funny because like the
- 36:38Speaker 4: signal was really bad and she was like, if you
- 36:41Speaker 4: deposit some more menu in my account, I think the
- 36:42Speaker 4: signal can get better. And I was like, I'm not
- 36:45Speaker 4: falling for that one. I know why you're here.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's dark. So I think people were just kind
- 36:51Speaker 1: of like why are we Why is she even on
- 36:54Speaker 1: the show?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Why is she on the show? Like why did you
- 36:56Speaker 2: take a spot from someone who like really wanted to
- 36:58Speaker 2: like do this. And also I could say it was
- 37:01Speaker 2: her partner's first time to be a pro, so I
- 37:03Speaker 2: think people felt bad for him because he's like so
- 37:06Speaker 2: cute and sweet and was so excited to be moved
- 37:08Speaker 2: up to a pro and then she's like nothing.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I think it was just kind of like yeah.
- 37:12Speaker 2: If I think if the right person said it, people
- 37:15Speaker 2: would have been like, Okay, that's funny. If it was
- 37:17Speaker 2: like more sarcastic. But I think people are like, why
- 37:19Speaker 2: are you even here? Oh?
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah, So I didn't. I was like not, so I
- 37:22Speaker 1: just knew she like was wearing as I knew, like,
- 37:27Speaker 1: I was like, I don't know who this chick is,
- 37:29Speaker 1: but uh and then I also I'm not very like
- 37:32Speaker 1: in the Dancing with the Stars world, so I did not.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I now know her partner's names Ezra, So I guess
- 37:38Speaker 1: I could see that. I just found it to be
- 37:42Speaker 1: so wild.
- 37:43Speaker 4: I was about the I watched it like one hundred
- 37:46Speaker 4: times hundred times.
- 37:47Speaker 2: It was the way she said it was like, I
- 37:50Speaker 2: can't like it made it a sound, but she she
- 37:53Speaker 2: made a TikTok sound, And I think that's her. That's
- 37:55Speaker 2: her whole thing is she just does not care, like
- 37:57Speaker 2: she literally told Easton like just to be sim some money,
- 38:00Speaker 2: like she is ruthless. So I think people more were
- 38:04Speaker 2: kind of like, we don't care about her, so we
- 38:06Speaker 2: feel bad for the Ezra her partner, right right, But yeah,
- 38:11Speaker 2: who would you want to be partnered with if You're
- 38:12Speaker 2: Own Until the Stars, Whitney Carson. I'm saying she makes
- 38:17Speaker 2: everyone look like an amazing dancer.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Yeah, although me on Dancing with the Stars would be
- 38:24Speaker 1: I can barely do TikTok dances, So if you try
- 38:26Speaker 1: to teach me like the rumba, I think you would be.
- 38:29Speaker 2: I think even though you don't think you're competitive, I
- 38:31Speaker 2: think it would kick in.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I just don't have rhythm, so I just don't think
- 38:37Speaker 1: it would like flow out of me. Do you know
- 38:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying. No, it doesn't imagine me doing the
- 38:42Speaker 1: cha cha.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Like come on, But I do think someone like Whitney
- 38:46Speaker 2: could like make you look like you can do the
- 38:48Speaker 2: cha cha.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You think so? You think?
- 38:49Speaker 2: So?
- 38:50Speaker 1: I don't know about that.
- 38:51Speaker 4: You're you're very good at like uh, You're very determined,
- 38:55Speaker 4: and you have incredible endurance, which I think is like
- 38:56Speaker 4: the biggest hurdle for a lot of people. Thank you
- 38:58Speaker 4: a lot of practice.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you would have the discipline to sure,
- 39:03Speaker 2: but the rhythm is not in me. Like you wouldn't
- 39:06Speaker 2: look like Charlie d'milio coming out there, you know.
- 39:08Speaker 1: But you would. I haven't seen her dance so she's amaze.
- 39:12Speaker 1: She was on Dance at the Stars, but she's also
- 39:13Speaker 1: like y yeah, yeah.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Well almost went right over the head. I had to
- 39:19Speaker 2: stop it before he went too far easton Happy Anniversary,
- 39:25Speaker 2: Big seven, Big seven. Okay, So I love the the concert.
- 39:32Speaker 2: I never knew about the themes of anniversaries until you
- 39:36Speaker 2: talked about them on the podcast.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Oh, I was like, you just found out about that, well.
- 39:40Speaker 2: I mean kind of recently. We talked about it recently
- 39:43Speaker 2: on the podcast for the first time. But basically, every
- 39:46Speaker 2: year that you're married, there's a theme for each anniversary.
- 39:49Speaker 4: There's like a traditional gift you do, yeah for the anniversary.
- 39:54Speaker 4: So this year was what copper and wool?
- 39:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so is this does this go up infinity amount
- 40:02Speaker 2: or does it stop at like ten or something.
- 40:04Speaker 4: It stops at ten, and then the next one I
- 40:06Speaker 4: think is twenty or fifteen. Then it kind of makes
- 40:09Speaker 4: like leaps.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Okay, so you celebrate every single one up until ten,
- 40:14Speaker 2: and then you jump from ten to twenty before you
- 40:16Speaker 2: have another theme to gif.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm checking it right now, but we're uh, we're
- 40:21Speaker 4: getting up to ten. So we're discussing, like what are
- 40:23Speaker 4: we gonna do? And I think We're just gonna make
- 40:25Speaker 4: up our own for the it goes to from ten
- 40:27Speaker 4: to fifteenth. Oh, okay, tenth is ten or aluminum.
- 40:31Speaker 2: That one's gonna be rough, But I don't know, I
- 40:34Speaker 2: feel like you'll crush it. I'm like, these are the
- 40:36Speaker 2: most thoughtful gifts ever.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Robbie's allergic to woolf so I think I'm have to
- 40:41Speaker 1: skip your seven.
- 40:42Speaker 4: You can you copper?
- 40:43Speaker 1: All right?
- 40:44Speaker 4: Right, I don't know what that would be, but yeah,
- 40:47Speaker 4: we love it. We have a lot of fun doing that.
- 40:50Speaker 4: And it's Allison is I mean, insanely good. It's so
- 40:54Speaker 4: intimidating because she like she just knocks out of the
- 40:56Speaker 4: park every single time with like really wild ideas.
- 41:00Speaker 2: But even you're wrapping, it's like amazingly thoughtful.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Yeah wow.
- 41:05Speaker 4: I always try to make something for her every year,
- 41:07Speaker 4: and like so like the first year, I made like
- 41:09Speaker 4: a scrap book of our you know, our first year
- 41:13Speaker 4: of marriage, and then the first one paper, sorry, the
- 41:15Speaker 4: first year's paper, and then second year is cotton, and
- 41:18Speaker 4: I like needle pointed like flowers and our name on
- 41:21Speaker 4: like a piece of fabric, uh, and like leather. I
- 41:25Speaker 4: made her slipper inside of leather that was so hard. Uh,
- 41:30Speaker 4: and copper wool. I'm like, oh man, I'm not going
- 41:32Speaker 4: to be like a blacksmith, Like this is getting so hard.
- 41:34Speaker 4: So I just I made that's like box of like
- 41:36Speaker 4: I made like wool wrapping paper basically, and then I
- 41:39Speaker 4: wrote like seven out of pennies, thank you. Yeah, it's
- 41:46Speaker 4: a lot of fun. And uh, I mean, I just
- 41:48Speaker 4: I'm excited for next year, which is bronze. Bronze is
- 41:50Speaker 4: the eighth year.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Wow, you're trying to get a bronze Olympic medal from someone.
- 41:55Speaker 4: I was thinking about that.
- 41:56Speaker 1: See if that's on eBay. I'm sure you can find
- 41:58Speaker 1: that on eBay. But you know, I realize that I'm
- 42:00Speaker 1: not good at is photo albums.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Yeah, like making them. Yeah, it's hard now because everything's
- 42:10Speaker 2: just digital.
- 42:10Speaker 1: But I remember maybe it was last anniversary of the year.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Maybe it was probably two years ago at this point,
- 42:15Speaker 1: so it's like our third anniversary. Robbie bought me like
- 42:17Speaker 1: a I'm sort of a scrap book or something of
- 42:21Speaker 1: the book and then he printed off every photo for
- 42:24Speaker 1: the first like three years of our relationship, and we
- 42:26Speaker 1: were going to like sit down and like do it together.
- 42:28Speaker 1: And it's still just like sitting in the box with
- 42:30Speaker 1: all the photos in one of our drawers at home,
- 42:32Speaker 1: and I'm like, the more and more time goes on,
- 42:36Speaker 1: the less and less, you know what i mean, the
- 42:38Speaker 1: more it's going to pile up, and I'm like, I
- 42:39Speaker 1: want to have those things, you know, Like I want
- 42:42Speaker 1: to have those memories. So now I'm thinking maybe I
- 42:44Speaker 1: just do them like digital, you know how you can
- 42:46Speaker 1: make them shutterfly or whatever. I just do them all online,
- 42:48Speaker 1: then they send you the book.
- 42:49Speaker 4: We love that we have so many of those.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like that might be the move, like
- 42:52Speaker 1: year one, year two, and just do it that way.
- 42:55Speaker 2: There is something about having the printed.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Like old school brick breaking mortar.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Yeah. I I have been wanting to like do like
- 43:13Speaker 2: scrap booking and like make like actual photo from like
- 43:16Speaker 2: our vacations and stuff.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's just all it is is a thought
- 43:20Speaker 1: right now. No, you need to and you guys are
- 43:23Speaker 1: going on your six you have a lot of time
- 43:25Speaker 1: to make up.
- 43:26Speaker 2: No, but this is like once you get married, is
- 43:28Speaker 2: the Oh you're just saying our relationship.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 43:31Speaker 2: I was looking through old I was looking through old
- 43:34Speaker 2: photos yesterday and I was like, we have done so
- 43:38Speaker 2: much together, and so much of it we didn't share publicly,
- 43:42Speaker 2: so like I'm looking at it and I'm like, oh
- 43:43Speaker 2: my gosh, I forgot like the only way, the only
- 43:46Speaker 2: place I have it is like in my memories and
- 43:48Speaker 2: then in my photos. And it was like, it would
- 43:51Speaker 2: be so fun to go through and make memory books
- 43:55Speaker 2: of those moments so that I can, you know, remember
- 43:58Speaker 2: in detail.
- 43:59Speaker 1: You should, I know, well you should do yours. I
- 44:02Speaker 1: know I'm going to I'm going to that the list.
- 44:05Speaker 4: It's so fun. That year I did the scrap book.
- 44:07Speaker 4: There's a store that it's not there anymore, but it's
- 44:09Speaker 4: called Scraping the app and I hung out with the
- 44:11Speaker 4: old ladies there for like a week and they were
- 44:14Speaker 4: so cool and they showed because like scrap books you
- 44:16Speaker 4: can get like a little you can get like pop
- 44:17Speaker 4: out things and like three dimensional stuff. I had the
- 44:20Speaker 4: best time.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Wait, so you went there.
- 44:22Speaker 2: I went to a scrap book.
- 44:24Speaker 4: I went to a scrap book place, and they showed
- 44:26Speaker 4: me how to like format the page, you know, because
- 44:28Speaker 4: the pages are all different lengths, like which pages, like
- 44:31Speaker 4: what the layout would look good as like. I brought
- 44:32Speaker 4: it all my photos and they helped me do it.
- 44:34Speaker 4: It was really fun.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Where is that?
- 44:37Speaker 4: I mean it was in Burbank, but scraping the app?
- 44:43Speaker 1: I need to find a scrapping yapp near me. We
- 44:45Speaker 1: could do it at home, yeah.
- 44:49Speaker 2: I know, but there's something about community of it where
- 44:51Speaker 2: you go somewhere.
- 44:53Speaker 1: But I'm saying how community having all the scrap bookers.
- 44:58Speaker 2: No, the items that you need, the what's the word
- 45:02Speaker 2: I'm looking.
- 45:03Speaker 4: For you guys accessories?
- 45:07Speaker 1: We buy it.
- 45:07Speaker 4: I know, I know Michaels has it. But yeah, it
- 45:10Speaker 4: was fun learning from like a journeyman scrapbooker.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Nice. Anyways, Well, this is the end of this podcast.
- 45:20Speaker 1: It is the end of the podcast, but it's not
- 45:21Speaker 1: the end of the week because you know what's coming
- 45:23Speaker 1: on Thursday. Dear bonya episode. Do you know what a
- 45:27Speaker 1: banya is? An actual thing?
- 45:28Speaker 2: What is it? So?
- 45:29Speaker 3: Mark?
- 45:30Speaker 1: Can you fact check this? Juliane Huff posted that it's
- 45:33Speaker 1: like a hat that protects your hair from getting fried
- 45:36Speaker 1: in the sauna.
- 45:37Speaker 4: It looks very fun.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Bya is a traditional Russian steam bath that utilizes the
- 45:41Speaker 3: wood stove. So close, so maybe there's a hat also similar.
- 45:47Speaker 3: There you go a natural wool hat. I want to
- 45:56Speaker 3: wear a wool hat.
- 45:58Speaker 1: From when we do. I agree, that's like our uniform. Yeah,
- 46:03Speaker 1: I agree, all of us.
- 46:04Speaker 4: Yeah the way yes looks like that right now.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Yeah that's hot and like physically hot.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Yeah. So we will be back. We'll be back on Thursday.
- 46:16Speaker 1: If you just remember.
- 46:17Speaker 2: If you like want to submit questions, you can send
- 46:20Speaker 2: them to our Instagram at scrubbing and Pot or email
- 46:24Speaker 2: us at scrubing and iHeartMedia dot com so that you
- 46:26Speaker 2: too can get advice from us.
- 46:29Speaker 1: All right, we love you so much. Bl you by
