- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone show on seven ten Won filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark. Here's Can Rosato. Yeah, is it Friday already?
- 0:10Speaker 1: It was like, oh, in fact, it's Friday towards the
- 0:13Speaker 1: end of August. It's insanity to think that the summer
- 0:16Speaker 1: has just flown by, but it has. But nonetheless we
- 0:21Speaker 1: will have a good time in the ensuing weeks here
- 0:25Speaker 1: or week and a half or so before the end
- 0:27Speaker 1: of the month. This is Canrozotto. It's good to be
- 0:29Speaker 1: with you for Mark. Mark enjoying a nice long weekend,
- 0:32Speaker 1: and it's nice to be in the seat. Of course
- 0:35Speaker 1: I'm keeping I'm keeping a good Mark. I put down
- 0:38Speaker 1: some blankets on the seat so I don't infect it,
- 0:42Speaker 1: and not that I'm sick or anything, but just it's
- 0:45Speaker 1: the Mark Simone throne. You don't want to Yeah, you're
- 0:47Speaker 1: not worthy of sitting in the seat anyway. It is
- 0:49Speaker 1: a Friday morning. We will take calls here at seven
- 0:52Speaker 1: ten WR the numbers eight hundred three to two one
- 0:55Speaker 1: zero seven ten, eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 1:00Speaker 1: How'd y'all fare with the weather? Yesterday? Ray Stagic talking
- 1:03Speaker 1: about it. It was a big water spout that moved
- 1:06Speaker 1: on to land. You know, when it's in the water,
- 1:08Speaker 1: it's kind of weak. They call it a water spout,
- 1:11Speaker 1: but as the funnel hits land, it becomes a tornado,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and apparently one hit Atlantic Beach on Long Island yesterday
- 1:20Speaker 1: late afternoon. Now I follow this guy on YouTube. I'm
- 1:23Speaker 1: not going to mention his name because I don't want
- 1:26Speaker 1: to take away from our race stagic. But this guy
- 1:29Speaker 1: is in the South and he let's just say that
- 1:33Speaker 1: the word yawl is part of his name. If you're
- 1:35Speaker 1: a weather geek like me, you probably know I'm who
- 1:37Speaker 1: I'm talking about. But this guy was live doing this coverage,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and he has this network of fellow he calls him
- 1:45Speaker 1: like weather geeks, people who are self proclaimed meteorologists all
- 1:49Speaker 1: over the country. And they were bringing up video from
- 1:52Speaker 1: anywhere that there was a tornado warning, and I had
- 1:56Speaker 1: it on in the background, being a weather geek myself,
- 1:59Speaker 1: And sure enough, they were showing Atlantic Beach as this
- 2:03Speaker 1: was happening, and they said, I think this is a
- 2:05Speaker 1: water spout just starting to form. They had it live
- 2:07Speaker 1: as it was forming. Thankfully, I guess one person had
- 2:11Speaker 1: a minor injury. I don't know if it was directly
- 2:14Speaker 1: the cause of this. Fortunately minor injury. When you have
- 2:16Speaker 1: something like this is a blessing. But take a listen
- 2:19Speaker 1: to some of the audio that we got from people
- 2:22Speaker 1: who were around the severe weather yesterday. Holy this is
- 2:25Speaker 1: a tornado. Wow that is and that is kind of amazing.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Living in the Northeast, you don't expect to see something
- 2:34Speaker 1: like that, but sure enough a lot of people did.
- 2:36Speaker 1: This was in Queen's with all the flooding. Every time
- 2:38Speaker 1: with other storms, I run home from work like wondering, Hey,
- 2:41Speaker 1: am I gonna make it back safe? Twice this year,
- 2:44Speaker 1: once last October during Halloween. Three times within the span
- 2:47Speaker 1: with not even one year. Yeah, now you know, a
- 2:50Speaker 1: lot of that happens, my meteorologists fans tell me because
- 2:53Speaker 1: in many cases you have garbage on the streets that
- 2:56Speaker 1: gets washed into the sewers, plugs up the sewers and
- 3:00Speaker 1: then they can't take the water. So it's not necessarily
- 3:03Speaker 1: that we're getting more rain or rain more off. In
- 3:06Speaker 1: some cases that is the case, but it's because the
- 3:09Speaker 1: sewers are not cleaned out. They need to be cleaned
- 3:12Speaker 1: out on a regular basis, and that's something that sometimes
- 3:15Speaker 1: the municipalities say, yeah, we could save money. We don't
- 3:18Speaker 1: need to do that, but that's part of the problem.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You need to keep those sewers clear at all times.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Jersey City also had a lot of rain, and.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I saw like almost six or seven cars who are like,
- 3:28Speaker 2: you know, stalled there around me.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I was just driving under the bridge and I think
- 3:35Speaker 2: was like worder level was very high.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and just about ten miles away from there in Passaic.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Came down really heavy.
- 3:41Speaker 1: There was a flood everywhere.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I came down from Passaic or Route twenty one, flood everywhere,
- 3:47Speaker 2: Belleville everywhere, flood everywhere as well, coming down on By
- 3:51Speaker 2: one and nine by Jerseys City as well.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, if you looked at any of the radars, it
- 3:55Speaker 1: was just purples and reds throughout the whole tri state.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So it was serious weather. And in times like that,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know, flash flooding happens. And most of the area
- 4:05Speaker 1: got like four inches of rain in just a short
- 4:07Speaker 1: amount of time. So that was an absolute mess. Fortunately
- 4:11Speaker 1: everybody seemed to fare well. Some areas still have a
- 4:15Speaker 1: little floodwater receding right now. I know Secaucus or secaucas
- 4:20Speaker 1: how do you pronounce it, Seacaucus or chicaucas both are
- 4:22Speaker 1: apparently correct. They had some flooding, I know on the
- 4:27Speaker 1: service roads near Route three apparently still flooded this morning.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But that'll all try out today, Ray Stagic saying that
- 4:34Speaker 1: throughout the day today, you're only going to have partly
- 4:36Speaker 1: cloudy skies, but chance of some more storms over the weekend.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Not as bad as we just had, but nonetheless more
- 4:42Speaker 1: stormy weather. Seven to ten WO are the Voice of
- 4:46Speaker 1: New York. It's Ken Rosotto, former TV news guy, in
- 4:49Speaker 1: for the great Mark Simone on this Friday. If you're
- 4:52Speaker 1: wondering where has Ken beIN? He used to work at
- 4:54Speaker 1: Channel seven for twenty years. Where's he been? I was
- 4:57Speaker 1: a Channel five before that. These days, I'm on on
- 5:00Speaker 1: New Jersey, which is a New Jersey TV news, talk, opinion, weather,
- 5:05Speaker 1: it's traffic channel. It's twenty four hours a DAYNENJ dot com.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You could stream it anywhere ONENJ dot com on New Jersey.
- 5:14Speaker 1: We hope you check us out sometimes too. But I
- 5:17Speaker 1: also work here, obviously at iHeart and love my time
- 5:20Speaker 1: filling in here at iHeartRadio, one of America's great radio corporations,
- 5:26Speaker 1: the largest. And if you heard Curtis this morning on
- 5:30Speaker 1: earlier talking about Yesterday was National Radio Day, and not
- 5:36Speaker 1: a lot of companies are true diehard radio fans. A
- 5:41Speaker 1: lot of the corporations that own broadcast media today just
- 5:45Speaker 1: own them as entities. And you could just tell when
- 5:48Speaker 1: they don't love what they do and what they own.
- 5:51Speaker 1: iHeart is different. iHeart loves broadcasting. They love radio, and
- 5:58Speaker 1: that's why they have between somewhere between eight and nine
- 6:01Speaker 1: hundred stations. I've lost count. But they love what they
- 6:04Speaker 1: do and they love their radio stations, and they own
- 6:08Speaker 1: literally some of the most historic radio broadcast entities in America,
- 6:13Speaker 1: like this one, fifty thousand watt clear channels seven to
- 6:17Speaker 1: ten wor. This is just a monster signal that covers
- 6:21Speaker 1: the whole region of the country, not just the New
- 6:23Speaker 1: York area. You could hear this huge signal up and
- 6:26Speaker 1: down the mid Atlantic with its massive footprint, and at
- 6:32Speaker 1: night you could hear it even farther. It goes about
- 6:34Speaker 1: five six hundred miles clear as a bell at night.
- 6:38Speaker 1: But yesterday they took National Radio Day seriously as they should,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and a lot of the broadcasters from this station were
- 6:46Speaker 1: honored and talked to, and they got to speak to everybody,
- 6:50Speaker 1: and it was just wonderful and we just have a good,
- 6:52Speaker 1: nice group of people when I walk on the door
- 6:54Speaker 1: here and see some of the folks who work in
- 6:57Speaker 1: this building. Of course, Curtis, you know, is just an
- 7:01Speaker 1: amazing man now that he's on at the morning show
- 7:03Speaker 1: as well. It's just, you know, Larry is just a sweetheart.
- 7:08Speaker 1: He and I He worked at Channel seven before me,
- 7:11Speaker 1: but he is historic as a broadcaster between New York
- 7:14Speaker 1: and Philadelphia. And just to get to know Larry now
- 7:17Speaker 1: personally is an amazing thing. And of course Mark Simone.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Mark Simone is not it's not an opinion, it's by ratings,
- 7:25Speaker 1: by fact, the most listened to talk radio host in America.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Certainly in New York he's number one. It's between him
- 7:33Speaker 1: and Sean Hannity. Of course nationwide also here on seven
- 7:37Speaker 1: ten wor These are great broadcast entities and it's all
- 7:41Speaker 1: part of the iHeart family. So I'm just honored to
- 7:43Speaker 1: be here and filling in. But we want to hear
- 7:45Speaker 1: what you have to say. Eight hundred three to two
- 7:47Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three to two one
- 7:50Speaker 1: zero seven ten. You know, for months, President Trump's been
- 7:54Speaker 1: pushing to have the Save America Act past and he's
- 7:58Speaker 1: saying it would pose an egg essential threat to our country,
- 8:02Speaker 1: to our democratic republic if it doesn't pass. And if
- 8:06Speaker 1: you think about it, that's not hyperbole because if you
- 8:09Speaker 1: have potentially tens of millions of illegal migrants who've come in,
- 8:14Speaker 1: now you're talking about this country just being rife with
- 8:17Speaker 1: potential fraud. Vote fraud. We already know in New Jersey. Remember,
- 8:22Speaker 1: we were told, first absolutely nobody who is, pardon me
- 8:26Speaker 1: here illegal. Let me just hit the cough button. Pardon me,
- 8:30Speaker 1: Thank goodness for the cough button. You didn't have to
- 8:32Speaker 1: hear that. We were told that nobody who's here illegally
- 8:37Speaker 1: is registered to vote. Then we were told some people
- 8:39Speaker 1: may have registered to vote, but they didn't actually vote.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Then we're told, oh, some people voted, but it doesn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: really count, it's too tiny. Then it was oh, well,
- 8:47Speaker 1: thousands registered to vote who shouldn't have, but only a
- 8:50Speaker 1: couple of hundred actually voted. Now it could be a
- 8:53Speaker 1: lot of people who voted. Where do we get that number? Well,
- 8:57Speaker 1: we get that number of a lot. Where am I
- 8:59Speaker 1: getting that? We now know that the federal government has
- 9:03Speaker 1: taken a look at the New Jersey voter roles and
- 9:05Speaker 1: we're going to talk more later in the show about this.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And they get found as many as thirty five to
- 9:10Speaker 1: forty thousand people who they've crossed reference see New Jersey's
- 9:15Speaker 1: not cooperating with the FEDS, But the FEDS did some
- 9:17Speaker 1: work on their own. Thirty five to forty thousand people
- 9:20Speaker 1: apparently here illegally who may have registered to vote in
- 9:25Speaker 1: the state of New Jersey. New Jersey saying they only
- 9:27Speaker 1: have a few thousand, Well, there's quite a disparaty between
- 9:30Speaker 1: a few thousand and thirty five to forty thousand. Go
- 9:33Speaker 1: to the New Jersey State Republicans, they say there are as
- 9:37Speaker 1: many as seventy nine thousand. Where do they get their
- 9:41Speaker 1: numbers from? They say that people who are selected to
- 9:46Speaker 1: be on juries in New Jersey are selected based on
- 9:50Speaker 1: people who have driver's licenses with the New Jersey MVC,
- 9:54Speaker 1: the Motor Vehicle Commission, which is their answer to the
- 9:57Speaker 1: DMV in New York. And people who are selected for
- 10:02Speaker 1: juries have responded, I can't serve on the jury because
- 10:07Speaker 1: I am not a legal alien in the United States.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I'm not a citizen. But in order to have been selected,
- 10:15Speaker 1: they had to be They had to have drivers' licenses
- 10:18Speaker 1: and be registered to vote, so that either they lied
- 10:23Speaker 1: about not being citizens, but yet they're still registered to vote,
- 10:27Speaker 1: which could be the case, but yet it's something that
- 10:30Speaker 1: has to be investigated. Right, So the state Republicans in
- 10:33Speaker 1: New Jersey say as many as seventy nine thousand people
- 10:36Speaker 1: that they know of are illegals who are registered to vote.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So the number we know is on the low end,
- 10:43Speaker 1: what sixty six hundred and on the high end, seventy
- 10:46Speaker 1: nine thousand. That's a lot of people. It shouldn't be one.
- 10:50Speaker 1: We should not have one illegal migrant. Anyone who's not
- 10:54Speaker 1: a citizen, even a legal resident, you should not be
- 10:58Speaker 1: registered to vote. Supposed to be only citizens are supposed
- 11:02Speaker 1: to vote. But the Democrats intentionally set this up to
- 11:07Speaker 1: have confusion. What am I talking about? I mean having
- 11:11Speaker 1: driver's licenses for people who are not here legally. Well,
- 11:14Speaker 1: if you're not here legally, why do anything to invite
- 11:16Speaker 1: people to stay longer when they're already not here legally.
- 11:20Speaker 1: You shouldn't do things to make it more comfortable. You
- 11:22Speaker 1: should say I'm sorry, but all right. You could be
- 11:24Speaker 1: here until you're not find a way home and then
- 11:27Speaker 1: apply to be a citizen and come back. But until
- 11:30Speaker 1: then you shouldn't be here. All right, I'm sorry, it's
- 11:33Speaker 1: not allowed. That's like you find somebody living in your attic.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You hear noise, you think it's squirrels for months and months,
- 11:39Speaker 1: some i'ms saying, now there's noise up there, squirrels. And
- 11:42Speaker 1: you go up there and you find people living in
- 11:44Speaker 1: your attic. You don't then start bringing them food and
- 11:46Speaker 1: water and clothing. You say, all right, here, I'll give
- 11:51Speaker 1: you a snack, but you gotta leave. You gotta go.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You can't stay in my attic. And it's the same thing, Ken,
- 11:57Speaker 1: that's a rude way to talk about human beings. Those
- 12:00Speaker 1: human beings broke into our home. Sorry, let's just say
- 12:03Speaker 1: what it is, the burglars. You didn't break into their home.
- 12:07Speaker 1: We didn't go into their country. You try going into
- 12:10Speaker 1: Mexico illegally, You try going into El Salvador illegally, you'll
- 12:14Speaker 1: be arrested, You will be tossed in jail, and it
- 12:18Speaker 1: might be years before you can get out. But yet
- 12:20Speaker 1: we have no problem keeping our borders open and letting
- 12:23Speaker 1: people in here. Even liberal Canada. Liberal Canada change the
- 12:27Speaker 1: rules they used to have birthright citizenship. They used to
- 12:30Speaker 1: let people off they're here illegally. Whatever, they're changing their
- 12:33Speaker 1: tune now in Canada as well. Europe has had it
- 12:36Speaker 1: with illegals. They've had it. They have the migrants who
- 12:39Speaker 1: are there right now have overtaken lands. They've actually set
- 12:42Speaker 1: up parts of Paris. You can't even recognize parts of Paris.
- 12:45Speaker 1: They are no go zones with the Islamic sectors of Paris,
- 12:50Speaker 1: where the police don't go in because they're not wanted
- 12:53Speaker 1: and it can cause a riot. So rather than doing
- 12:55Speaker 1: something about it, the liberal Parisians said, well, let's just
- 12:57Speaker 1: not go in that area. Really, you're just going to
- 12:59Speaker 1: surrender head half of the land of the city to
- 13:01Speaker 1: a group because they don't want you there. It's just
- 13:04Speaker 1: ridiculous and this is what liberalism and socialism has gotten us. Well,
- 13:08Speaker 1: to get back to this story, here at seventh ten
- 13:10Speaker 1: wor the Voice of New York, hen Risotto in from
- 13:13Speaker 1: Mark in Alaska, there is a senator who has been
- 13:17Speaker 1: Senator for almost three decades, Lisa Murkowski. Lisa is a Whino.
- 13:22Speaker 1: She is a Republican in name only. She never votes
- 13:26Speaker 1: less than fifty percent of the time. Does she vote
- 13:27Speaker 1: with Republicans. The only reason why she still serves a
- 13:30Speaker 1: purpose is she keeps the Republican Party in the majority
- 13:34Speaker 1: in the Senate, because if she were a registered Democrat,
- 13:37Speaker 1: you could lose committee heads and things like that. So
- 13:40Speaker 1: you want to have a majority Republican in the number
- 13:44Speaker 1: of Republicans in the Senate and in the House, ostensibly
- 13:47Speaker 1: to be in charge and run the agenda in the
- 13:50Speaker 1: respective house. So she Lisa Murkowski is against the Save Act,
- 13:56Speaker 1: the Save America Act. She is one of the senators
- 14:00Speaker 1: was preventing it from coming up for a vote in
- 14:02Speaker 1: the Senate. So in the House this has passed four times,
- 14:06Speaker 1: it has passed in different iterations. It is passed, and
- 14:11Speaker 1: all four of the bills have made their way to
- 14:13Speaker 1: the Senate only to sit there on John Thune's desk
- 14:16Speaker 1: and do nothing. They just sit there collecting dust. And
- 14:20Speaker 1: of course, the President said, before the Senators take their
- 14:23Speaker 1: needless vacations of weeks and weeks, please pass the Save
- 14:28Speaker 1: America Act. They pass all this other nonsense that ends
- 14:31Speaker 1: up putting money in their pockets, but they didn't want
- 14:32Speaker 1: to pass the Save America Act. So Lisa Murkowski would
- 14:37Speaker 1: not support the Save America Act. She says, it's overly burdensome,
- 14:41Speaker 1: really really, well, think about this. James O'Keeffe of O'Keeffe
- 14:47Speaker 1: media group, he used to be with Project Veritas. He's
- 14:49Speaker 1: the guy you see online who goes up to people
- 14:52Speaker 1: with secret, hidden cameras and gets them, usually people on
- 14:56Speaker 1: the left, to admit things that we know are happening.
- 15:00Speaker 1: The left denies it in public, but we get them
- 15:02Speaker 1: on video acknowledging, like he was the one who exposed
- 15:06Speaker 1: an abortionist from one of the big abortion groups. I'll
- 15:10Speaker 1: let you figure out which, talking about harvesting organs from
- 15:14Speaker 1: babies and selling them. And later they denied it. Well,
- 15:18Speaker 1: why did you say it on You know, you said
- 15:20Speaker 1: it what you thought was privately. You admitted it to
- 15:22Speaker 1: a person, but it was not true. So anyway, he is.
- 15:26Speaker 1: James O'Keefe is notorious for doing this. He walked up
- 15:30Speaker 1: to a polling place on Wednesday when Alaska had its
- 15:33Speaker 1: primaries and he said he was Lisa Murkowski's brother, Brian Murkowski. Now,
- 15:39Speaker 1: Alaska is a small place. Alaska only has seven hundred
- 15:42Speaker 1: and fifty thousand people in the entire state, and their
- 15:45Speaker 1: land mass is fourteen thousand times the land mass of
- 15:49Speaker 1: the Bronx. That's a real statistic, fourteen thousand times the
- 15:53Speaker 1: land mass, which means like there's one person for every
- 15:56Speaker 1: twelve miles of land or some silliness like that. So
- 15:59Speaker 1: people know each other in Alaska. Even in cities, you
- 16:02Speaker 1: know everybody. I think Anchorage is their biggest city with
- 16:05Speaker 1: like seventy nine thousand people. So people do know each
- 16:08Speaker 1: other in all the cities in Alaska. For the most part,
- 16:11Speaker 1: people have lived there most of their lives. The James
- 16:14Speaker 1: O'Keefe walked up to the polsters or the polling place,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I should say the people are running the polling place,
- 16:19Speaker 1: and said he was Brian Murkowski, Lisa Murkowski's brother. Nobody
- 16:24Speaker 1: questioned him. They all knew, most of the people knew.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But under Alaska law, you're not allowed to demand id
- 16:30Speaker 1: If somebody asks for a ballot, you have to give
- 16:33Speaker 1: him the ballot. So guess what. They handed him a ballot,
- 16:36Speaker 1: and fortunately he had it on video to prove it.
- 16:40Speaker 1: But he didn't do the illegal act of voting. He did.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That's when he could get arrested. He handed the ballot back,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but it's on video of him accepting the ballot of
- 16:49Speaker 1: somebody else, the brother of the most powerful senator in
- 16:53Speaker 1: Alaskan history. That's who he claimed to be, and he
- 16:57Speaker 1: was given the person's ballot. This is a perfect example
- 17:01Speaker 1: of why voter idea at the polls isn't just a
- 17:03Speaker 1: good idea, but it's essential if we want to preserve
- 17:06Speaker 1: our republic. Everybody can get identification. If you have been
- 17:11Speaker 1: born in the US, you have a birth certificate, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: have a Social Security card. Those things right there will
- 17:17Speaker 1: get you anything else. If you lose either, you can
- 17:20Speaker 1: get a duplicate and don't forget other than if you
- 17:23Speaker 1: have a burner phone. By burner phone, I mean the
- 17:26Speaker 1: phones that you buy that have built in thirty minutes
- 17:29Speaker 1: of time. You get them at Walmart and you throw
- 17:30Speaker 1: them out when you're done. That's what the drug dealers use.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Unless you have a burner phone, you need to have
- 17:36Speaker 1: ID to buy a cell phone because you have to
- 17:40Speaker 1: establish credit to pay for the account. And I'm sorry,
- 17:43Speaker 1: but I don't know a human in poor neighborhoods are
- 17:46Speaker 1: rich who does not have a cell phone. So that
- 17:48Speaker 1: means at some point the individuals had to present ID.
- 17:53Speaker 1: In fact, I defy a liberal to present me with
- 17:56Speaker 1: a human who is a citizen of the US in
- 17:58Speaker 1: twenty twenty six who does not possess an ID doesn't exist.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And women who marry and change their names usually up
- 18:06Speaker 1: their id's almost immediately. If they decide to change their name,
- 18:09Speaker 1: they go and they have that taking care. If it
- 18:11Speaker 1: could be done in five minutes, you get your ID
- 18:12Speaker 1: change one, two, three, it's done. So spare me the
- 18:16Speaker 1: nonsense that anyone would be kept from voting because of
- 18:19Speaker 1: access to identification. Well, quickly back to James O'Keefe, because
- 18:24Speaker 1: I know we got to go to a break here.
- 18:26Speaker 1: In twenty twelve, he did the same thing. He walked
- 18:28Speaker 1: into a polling place in Washington, d C. Claiming to
- 18:31Speaker 1: be Attorney General Eric Holder, who is African American. James
- 18:34Speaker 1: O'Keeffe is white, and yet he was given a ballot.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And when Eric Holder showed up for real, he was told, Oh,
- 18:42Speaker 1: somebody already got your ballot, is what do you mean?
- 18:46Speaker 1: But this is the thing, because Washington, d C. Does
- 18:48Speaker 1: not require ID to get the ballot to vote. You
- 18:51Speaker 1: need ID to fly in a plane, you need ID
- 18:53Speaker 1: to apply for a credit card to check into a hotel,
- 18:55Speaker 1: to rent a car, to apply for a mortgage, sign
- 18:57Speaker 1: the lease, open a bank account as we mentioned, and
- 19:00Speaker 1: get a cell phone if you want to buy cigarettes
- 19:02Speaker 1: or lottery tickets and they have to check your age.
- 19:04Speaker 1: You want to get hired at a job, claim unemployment,
- 19:06Speaker 1: get a Social Security card and roll and medicaid, pick
- 19:09Speaker 1: up certain prescriptions, get a marriage license, purchase a firearm,
- 19:12Speaker 1: adopt a pet, at about a thousand other things. You
- 19:15Speaker 1: need to have IDs. So stop with your silliness. It's
- 19:19Speaker 1: like you are punking us to tell us that no
- 19:21Speaker 1: everybody has ID. Yes, everybody has ID or can easily
- 19:25Speaker 1: get it, and we need to impose a rule that
- 19:28Speaker 1: you need to have ID to vote. It's the most
- 19:30Speaker 1: sacred of all our abilities, and it's something that we
- 19:34Speaker 1: should require an ID for seven to ten wo r
