Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's Mark Simone. Welcome to the special bonus segment
- 0:03Speaker 1: just for you podcast listeners and extra show every week.
- 0:06Speaker 1: So everybody's happy that Jessica Tish will stay on as
- 0:11Speaker 1: the police commissioner. People think that's the ideal situation. It's
- 0:15Speaker 1: very good, and I'll take her over anybody, Mom, Donnie
- 0:19Speaker 1: might choose. But there are some people saying, you know,
- 0:22Speaker 1: she's not the greatest police commiss she's good. She's not
- 0:25Speaker 1: Ray Kelly, She's not. I mean, there are some problems
- 0:28Speaker 1: with the police department. For instance, Central Park. The numbers
- 0:34Speaker 1: are getting bad there. Central Park goers are wary as
- 0:38Speaker 1: serious assaults and sex crimes skyrocketed in twenty twenty five,
- 0:43Speaker 1: many of them saying I don't want to walk alone anymore.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Serious assaults went up fifty eight percent in Central Park. Yeah,
- 0:53Speaker 1: just this year, while reports of sex crimes other than
- 0:56Speaker 1: rape shot up one hundred and fifty percent arding NYPD data. Also,
- 1:02Speaker 1: there have been nineteen felony assaults in the park this year,
- 1:05Speaker 1: up from twelve the year before. Tom Morris, superintendent at
- 1:09Speaker 1: a building near the park, placed the blame for the
- 1:11Speaker 1: crime search on city and state politicians. Yeah, so you
- 1:17Speaker 1: know you can't just blame the police department of the
- 1:20Speaker 1: Police Commissioner. As he points out, it's the no cash,
- 1:23Speaker 1: no bail that Cuomo stuck us with. It's no bail.
- 1:26Speaker 1: It's a revolving door, and it's the same criminals over
- 1:29Speaker 1: and over again, and every time they arrest somebody, it's
- 1:32Speaker 1: a guy who's done this a million times before and
- 1:36Speaker 1: just gets You can arrest them all you want, but
- 1:39Speaker 1: they keep getting released. Now. The other thing is that
- 1:42Speaker 1: Park East Synagogue situation was just terrible. Worshippers coming to
- 1:47Speaker 1: the most prominent synagogue in New York, the Park East Synagogue,
- 1:51Speaker 1: and the protesters are all over them. It got really
- 1:54Speaker 1: out of control and it's just terrorI basically Muslim terrorism.
- 2:01Speaker 1: They were terrorizing the worshippers Parky Synagogue. Well, but a
- 2:06Speaker 1: lot of people are saying about Jessica Diish, well, where
- 2:08Speaker 1: was she on that? Why didn't you have better control
- 2:10Speaker 1: of that situation. She went to the synagogue the next
- 2:13Speaker 1: day and apologized to them, saying, we didn't handle this right.
- 2:18Speaker 1: We should have made sure the protesters were on the
- 2:20Speaker 1: other side of the street, far away and barricaded so
- 2:25Speaker 1: they couldn't get near you. The rule on. This is
- 2:28Speaker 1: because people will say, well, you have to allow protesting,
- 2:31Speaker 1: you can't not allow it. It's freedom of speech. But
- 2:33Speaker 1: the rule is as long as they have sight and sound,
- 2:36Speaker 1: in other words, you can put them wherever you have
- 2:39Speaker 1: to put them, as long as they can see who
- 2:40Speaker 1: they're protesting and hear them. So you could put them
- 2:44Speaker 1: even a block away, but you put them across the
- 2:46Speaker 1: street and keep them there so they can't get near
- 2:49Speaker 1: enough to really terrorize or menace the worshippers. But they
- 2:52Speaker 1: didn't do that in this case. So now this was
- 2:56Speaker 1: Manhattan North, that's the command that was in charge of this.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So apparently the NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau is interviewing the
- 3:03Speaker 1: commanders of Manhattan North, focusing on who from the borough
- 3:08Speaker 1: command should have been overseeing the scene, who should have
- 3:12Speaker 1: been making sure the protesters were properly contained and far
- 3:16Speaker 1: enough away so they couldn't terrorize the people going in there.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But again some people are saying, where was Jessica Tish
- 3:23Speaker 1: on this? And you know, this past weekend there was
- 3:29Speaker 1: a protest at the Apple store fifty ninth and fifth,
- 3:31Speaker 1: the main Apple store, and it looked pretty ugly. They
- 3:35Speaker 1: were screaming and yelling and again terrorizing people at the
- 3:38Speaker 1: Apple store. But they weren't across the street like they
- 3:41Speaker 1: should have been barricaded across the street now in defense
- 3:46Speaker 1: of the NYPD. Across the street right now is a
- 3:47Speaker 1: construction site all boarded up so you can't get anybody
- 3:50Speaker 1: in there. But they should not have been allowed to
- 3:52Speaker 1: get two feet away from people trying to shop at
- 3:54Speaker 1: the Apple store. So some people are just saying, Jessica Tish.
- 3:59Speaker 1: They like her. She's good, not exactly the perfect police commissioner. Hey,
- 4:05Speaker 1: there's a big movement now. I like this. They're putting
- 4:08Speaker 1: together a petition many many thousands and thousands of names,
- 4:13Speaker 1: a big push now to get the bridge the name
- 4:17Speaker 1: restored once again. Call it the tapan Z Bridge. The
- 4:21Speaker 1: Governor Mario M. Cuomo bridge looks like it could. This
- 4:25Speaker 1: is possible, This might work. They might get it back
- 4:27Speaker 1: to the tap and Ze Bridge. Now. Remember it was
- 4:29Speaker 1: Andrew Cuomo, the shady governor we had back then, who
- 4:34Speaker 1: renamed the bridge, like in the middle of the night,
- 4:36Speaker 1: he stuck it into some bill. He bypassed the long
- 4:39Speaker 1: standing naming normal conditions and erased a meaningful part of
- 4:45Speaker 1: the region's cultural and linguistic history. The protesters say Cuomo's
- 4:50Speaker 1: decision got all kinds of residents upset, more than one
- 4:54Speaker 1: hundred thousand people signing a petition at the time to
- 4:57Speaker 1: keep the original name of the bridge. But again he
- 4:59Speaker 1: snuck through in the middle of the night, sneaking it
- 5:02Speaker 1: into some bill. So far, the petition has a couple
- 5:05Speaker 1: thousand signatures. They're trying to get more. They're going to
- 5:08Speaker 1: go to the Senate and Assembly introduced new legislation to
- 5:11Speaker 1: change the name. Governor Holkel would have to sign off
- 5:15Speaker 1: on that. She's the biggest coward in the world. Now,
- 5:19Speaker 1: we like Mario Cuomo, it'd be nice to name something
- 5:22Speaker 1: after him, but I don't know, and just call it
- 5:26Speaker 1: the Mario Cuomo Bridge. If the name on the signs
- 5:28Speaker 1: is so ridiculously long, the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge. Well,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I don't know. So we'll see if this movement picks
- 5:35Speaker 1: up steam and they can get it back. Leticia James,
- 5:39Speaker 1: the Attorney General, expected to be hit with new indictments.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But you know, the New York Bar Association is pretty corrupt,
- 5:47Speaker 1: left wing, totally corrupt, left wing, totally partisan. Now, Rudy
- 5:53Speaker 1: Giuliani was accused of some stuff, and they immediately removed
- 5:56Speaker 1: his law license. They disbarred him. I guess it's not
- 5:59Speaker 1: perm it, but they temporarily took away his law license,
- 6:02Speaker 1: which is ridiculous. So Letitia James is facing serious criminal charges.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So there are people going to the New York Bar
- 6:11Speaker 1: Association with the they want her license renewed. Requests have
- 6:16Speaker 1: been submitted that she'd be investigated for illegal and dishonest conduct, fraud, misrepresentation,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and that the Bar Association should take her law license
- 6:26Speaker 1: away again. It's the most slanted left wing thing the
- 6:30Speaker 1: New York Bar. So don't expect anything to happen soon.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You know, the Biden's Joe Biden, Jill Biden. They spent
- 6:37Speaker 1: Thanksgiving in Nantucket. Ohok ad this what the hell is
- 6:41Speaker 1: this story about? Jill Biden? Former First Lady Jill Biden
- 6:46Speaker 1: spotted popping into a Nantucket lingerie shop on Black Friday.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I don't know, you make up your own jokes here?
- 6:56Speaker 1: What the he? I mean, if you're married to Joe Biden,
- 6:58Speaker 1: do you really need lingerie? I mean, do you think
- 7:00Speaker 1: no matter what you wore, no matter what you did,
- 7:03Speaker 1: you're with Joe Biden? You think anything could happen. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: he'd like intravenous viagra or something. Actually, probably need jumper
- 7:11Speaker 1: cables this guy. I mean, I can't imagine anything goes
- 7:14Speaker 1: on there, but who knows who it was for. But
- 7:17Speaker 1: she was spotted shopping at Ladybird Lingerie of Nantucket in
- 7:21Speaker 1: the historic district. What are they doing in Nantucket? Well,
- 7:26Speaker 1: these are the two biggest freeloaders in the world, Joe
- 7:29Speaker 1: and Jill Biden. Typical of Democrats. When they're on vacation,
- 7:33Speaker 1: do they spend the whole year attacking the multi billionaires
- 7:37Speaker 1: billionaires of the They're not paying any taxes, they don't
- 7:39Speaker 1: pay their fairs. They go after the billionaires all year.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And then when they're going on vacation, where do they
- 7:44Speaker 1: go right to the billionaire's house and stay with them.
- 7:46Speaker 1: In this case, it's David Rubinstein, the chairman of the
- 7:49Speaker 1: Carlisle Group, founder of the Carlisle Group. He's got a
- 7:53Speaker 1: lot of houses everywhere. One of his houses is a
- 7:55Speaker 1: thirty four million dollar mansion. It's actually a compound on Nantucket,
- 8:00Speaker 1: and every time the Bidens want a vacation, he lends
- 8:03Speaker 1: him the house. So if you don't like these billionaires,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you shouldn't like Joe Biden because he's sure gets chummy
- 8:10Speaker 1: with them, staying in Rubinstein's house for their vacation. They've
- 8:13Speaker 1: been doing this every year. Hey, Also, President Trump's saying
- 8:19Speaker 1: now that any of these pardons that were signed with
- 8:22Speaker 1: an auto pen are not valid. I think there's about
- 8:25Speaker 1: nine hundred and thirty five of them they've already identified.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So they're going to invalidate these pardons, which is pretty good,
- 8:33Speaker 1: good idea, and a lot of them are these Fauci
- 8:35Speaker 1: and Slee's ball swamp types. This, of course, will outrage
- 8:39Speaker 1: the Democrats, the fake news will go nuts. And then
- 8:44Speaker 1: it's good because one of the reasons he does this,
- 8:48Speaker 1: like calling the Somalia people garbage and going one of
- 8:50Speaker 1: the reasons he does this. He gets them all riled up.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Now they'll go after him for repealing the pardons, but
- 8:56Speaker 1: it'll bring it back into the news and it'll get
- 8:59Speaker 1: people looking at it and they'll realize how sleazy some
- 9:02Speaker 1: of these pardons were. So it sounds outrageous. Why does
- 9:06Speaker 1: he have to do that? It's too outrageous because it's
- 9:08Speaker 1: to get everybody talking about it again. So hey, look
- 9:12Speaker 1: at this, Jen Saki MSNBCMS Now and Katie Kurak complain
- 9:18Speaker 1: that Trump is getting too many softball questions from Sinca
- 9:23Speaker 1: fans in the press. Unlike presidents in the past, He's
- 9:26Speaker 1: not getting tough questions. It's more of a Kremlin esque
- 9:31Speaker 1: press courts beyond it's parody. They say, now, this happens
- 9:35Speaker 1: now and then, and you wonder, you look at this Jensaki,
- 9:39Speaker 1: as much as you can't stand her, she seems to
- 9:41Speaker 1: be a very intelligent woman. Same thing with Katie Kirk
- 9:44Speaker 1: seems to be very intelligent. And then you wonder, how
- 9:47Speaker 1: could they say anything so ridiculously stupid? Anytime you put
- 9:51Speaker 1: on any anytime you are watching television, there's the president
- 9:55Speaker 1: and there's the press. They ask him the most insulting, disgusting,
- 9:58Speaker 1: outrageous questions. He's gotten it. How many fights have you
- 10:01Speaker 1: seen him get into it the press because the question
- 10:03Speaker 1: was so rough and tough. So what the hell are
- 10:06Speaker 1: they talking about? Have you ever once ever seen one
- 10:10Speaker 1: of these things where they ask him nice questions? Never?
- 10:12Speaker 1: So I don't know what the hell they're talking about now.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Jen Saki, former Biden a spokesperson, of course, a left
- 10:20Speaker 1: wing kook. The problem is. Katie Kirk for years tried
- 10:24Speaker 1: to come across as a normal TV host anchor, charming fun.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Now you find out she's as much of a left
- 10:30Speaker 1: wing kook as any of these people, maybe even worse.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You know, so they you think it's all fake news
- 10:38Speaker 1: now and back then it was better. You realize these
- 10:40Speaker 1: were all fake news slanted left wing kooks too. They
- 10:44Speaker 1: just try to keep it quiet. You remember George Will.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You used to like George Will. You remember he'd be
- 10:49Speaker 1: on the Sunday Morning Show with David Brinkley, wore the
- 10:51Speaker 1: bow tie, he would conservative, Republican, very intelligent, very scholarly,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and oh, you know, you'd love this George Will. Wheneveryone
- 11:00Speaker 1: could watch George Will. But he turned out to be
- 11:03Speaker 1: a complete cook. It was Bill O'Reilly that first exposed him.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You know, nobody knew how bad this George Will was.
- 11:09Speaker 1: What a deep state swamp creature this guy was till
- 11:13Speaker 1: one night he was on with O'Reilly. They got no fight.
- 11:16Speaker 1: O'Reilly really went after him, kind of exposed him, and
- 11:19Speaker 1: that was the end of him. They got rid of
- 11:20Speaker 1: him at Fox. But here he is, he's a real swampka.
- 11:24Speaker 1: He writes a big op ed this week George Will
- 11:28Speaker 1: pete Hexath a war criminal without a war Scathing op
- 11:32Speaker 1: ed no operational necessity justified Hexath de facto order to
- 11:38Speaker 1: kill two survivors, clinging to this's how bad this George
- 11:41Speaker 1: Will is. He's defending drug cartel, drug smugglers now as
- 11:46Speaker 1: an obliterated US forces near Venezuela. Trump's strikes on foreign boats.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I've raised bipartisan alarms. Heggs of the course, did nothing wrong.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It's a war. There's It's never been a rule in
- 12:01Speaker 1: the history of war. Nobody knows where the Democrats came
- 12:03Speaker 1: up with this. You're only allowed one shot. You get
- 12:07Speaker 1: the fire once and if you don't hit everybody, that's it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You're not allowed to fire again. That's it. You only
- 12:13Speaker 1: get one shot, no more. Nobody else can. You can't
- 12:16Speaker 1: do another. It is the most ridiculous thing in the world.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Can you imagine. I mean, when you see the police
- 12:21Speaker 1: in a shooting, if you're going to fire, if you're
- 12:23Speaker 1: can try to kill the guy or shoot at him,
- 12:25Speaker 1: you start shooting, it's out one shot. The only time
- 12:27Speaker 1: I ever saw that, Dirty Harry. Maybe remember Clint East
- 12:31Speaker 1: with some of those movies he was so good. He
- 12:33Speaker 1: would take the gun slowly, aim at fire one shot,
- 12:37Speaker 1: get the guy right now. But that was dirty, Harry.
- 12:39Speaker 1: In real life, you fire multiple shots. Hey, we'll talk.
- 12:43Speaker 1: We don't have much time, but we'll talk about this
- 12:45Speaker 1: during the week. If you're a driver, they're changing the
- 12:48Speaker 1: points system. You know, if you get a speeding ticket
- 12:50Speaker 1: or this ticket or that, you could get points on
- 12:53Speaker 1: your license. You get a certain number of points and
- 12:55Speaker 1: you could lose your license or get it suspended. They're increasing,
- 12:59Speaker 1: they're trying to keep this quiet. They're increasing the points system.
- 13:02Speaker 1: They're adding points, you know, like speeding used to be
- 13:04Speaker 1: three points, now it's going to be four points. Using
- 13:07Speaker 1: your cell phone used to be five points, now it'll
- 13:09Speaker 1: be six points. They're doing this with all these things,
- 13:12Speaker 1: adding them a number of points you'll get, and they're
- 13:17Speaker 1: trying to change it. You know right now, if you
- 13:19Speaker 1: get eleven points in eighteen months, you'll face suspension. Well
- 13:23Speaker 1: actually they're changing it to ten points in twenty four months,
- 13:26Speaker 1: lowering the number of points. It is not good, not good. Anyway,
- 13:31Speaker 1: we're out of time, but you can listen to me
- 13:33Speaker 1: live Monday through Friday ten to noon, or if you're
- 13:37Speaker 1: a podcast listener, We really appreciate it. Thanks a lot,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and there's always a bonus segment on the weekends, so
- 13:43Speaker 1: have a great weekend. Talk to your Monday ten to noon.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Mark Simone here, Thanks for listening.
