- 1:05Speaker 1: you very much. I've been sitting here for thirty minutes.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Good morning to you. Good morning, Good morning, Command, Gee morning,
- 1:14Speaker 1: good morning bad I mean big Kenny, all right, what's up?
- 1:18Speaker 1: What's going on with you? I mean the same thing
- 1:22Speaker 1: just ain't changed, nothing change, And I just saw you
- 1:27Speaker 1: do it again, sir. Let's not get back to that.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Move your right hand away from that device, please, bad producer,
- 1:35Speaker 1: your right hand move it away from the device. I
- 1:39Speaker 1: just saw you scroll up the screen, so relax. The
- 1:42Speaker 1: only person need to be pushing buttons right now is
- 1:45Speaker 1: me and command you Gregg right, that's it. Everybody else
- 1:49Speaker 1: should be face forward, Mike ready until commercial break. Kind
- 1:55Speaker 1: of like stephen A watching Solitaire doing the game. You know,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I would need to see somebody good morning til you're
- 2:06Speaker 1: glad to be here with you. NBA Game of five tonight.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I know we expected this. I don't know why you
- 2:14Speaker 1: people going to Adam Silver, you know, wanting him to
- 2:18Speaker 1: ask questionings about low ratings. I mean, y'all are so
- 2:24Speaker 1: wrong for that. You knew when these two teams were
- 2:28Speaker 1: matched up that the ratings might be a little down.
- 2:32Speaker 1: If the game didn't fit within Big Kenny's schedule, it's
- 2:37Speaker 1: not going to necessarily make time. I mean, I've watched
- 2:42Speaker 1: like runs of it, but I haven't. I can't say
- 2:46Speaker 1: that I watched the whole quarter consistently, But you know,
- 2:51Speaker 1: for a second or two, I'll let it grab my
- 2:55Speaker 1: attention until, you know, anything, I think of something else
- 3:00Speaker 1: in my mind to watch and not to get off script.
- 3:05Speaker 1: But well we don't actually have a script, so we're
- 3:08Speaker 1: kind of impromptu round here kind of green lighted Captain
- 3:13Speaker 1: America Brave World? Who who who green lighted that? Disney?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Did they ABC? Have you seen Anthony Mackie playing Captain
- 3:27Speaker 1: America with the Red Hawk, with the red How I
- 3:30Speaker 1: didn't think it's gonna be term like this. Yeah, they
- 3:35Speaker 1: messed up. They messed up. I fell asleep. I woke up.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I tried to stay up. I fell asleep again, trying
- 3:42Speaker 1: to not to to Nodds and yeah, the two nods
- 3:46Speaker 1: at home, you give it two Z So then I
- 3:48Speaker 1: just stopped it with about forty two minutes to go
- 3:52Speaker 1: in it like I'm done, and I don't even wow,
- 3:56Speaker 1: that's a bad movie. That's bad.
- 3:58Speaker 6: No, No, I'm saying when you you get invested into
- 4:01Speaker 6: a movie like Past the Turn, like it's an hour
- 4:04Speaker 6: and a half into a three hour movie, and you go,
- 4:07Speaker 6: you know what bro right before?
- 4:10Speaker 1: I don't even care. I don't even care. I don't
- 4:12Speaker 1: even care how it turns out.
- 4:15Speaker 6: It looked like it was gonna get interesting, and it
- 4:17Speaker 6: never get it could never get this interesting.
- 4:20Speaker 1: But my crew is here. How was your weekend, guys?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Pretty good?
- 4:24Speaker 7: So?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Can I guess it? Awesome? I had a fantastic weekend?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Can I can I get a little raw from the
- 4:29Speaker 1: fifty five Life good and the fifty five and up
- 4:33Speaker 1: over here real good, roar tiger great.
- 4:40Speaker 6: It had sounded like bad decision making right there because
- 4:43Speaker 6: of fifty five and up.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Honestly, life better than It's pretty easy right now for
- 4:51Speaker 1: ye olds over there.
- 4:54Speaker 8: There we go.
- 4:54Speaker 1: See I'm talking about right there this select oh but
- 5:04Speaker 1: great weekend. I got a chance went down to watch
- 5:06Speaker 1: out the UFC fight at State Farm Kamara Uzman versus
- 5:12Speaker 1: your King Buckley. They were the main event. And wow,
- 5:19Speaker 1: wow long at a sporting event I've ever attended. What
- 5:23Speaker 1: it's the longest sporting event I ever started at seven,
- 5:27Speaker 1: longer than baseball. Yes, it started seven. The last match
- 5:33Speaker 1: didn't in until one thirty. How many matches there were
- 5:40Speaker 1: I want to say thirteen. That's that's too many. Work
- 5:45Speaker 1: hard on the car, that's too many for one car.
- 5:50Speaker 1: After and I'm talking about just the regular break. I'm
- 5:55Speaker 1: not talking about where the break was so long You're like, man,
- 5:58Speaker 1: they've been going out of the ring. I'm talking abot.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It was just enough time to clear the ring of
- 6:03Speaker 1: one fight, everything reset and bring to other people. So
- 6:07Speaker 1: It wasn't those long thirty minutes breaks that.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Sounded like a comedy show, thirteen people back to back
- 6:16Speaker 6: to back, where you thought, okay, this might speed up
- 6:20Speaker 6: a little bit.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And that was the thing most of them, which was
- 6:26Speaker 1: a very interesting point to watch. I hadn't watched that
- 6:30Speaker 1: long the UFC action when I first got introduced to it.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I used to watch like entire cards, and then I
- 6:38Speaker 1: kind of just started for the one or two names
- 6:41Speaker 1: I would know. Being in the arena, you're watching the
- 6:44Speaker 1: whole thing, so regardless of whether you know the name,
- 6:47Speaker 1: which still brings excitement. But you didn't see a lot
- 6:54Speaker 1: of action as far as like most of it, nobody
- 7:04Speaker 1: showed you more than boxing. Okay, you didn't get a
- 7:08Speaker 1: lot of the wrestling or the karate, the jiu jitsu part.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You just got a lot of You would have thought
- 7:17Speaker 1: you were had a boxing match there for a while.
- 7:21Speaker 1: They would spend a good three three and a half
- 7:24Speaker 1: minutes of each round more on their feet in a
- 7:28Speaker 1: boxing you know, And I think, I don't know if
- 7:31Speaker 1: that's something they've tried to clean up, but it was
- 7:35Speaker 1: fight maybe ten nine before you got a flying knee.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It's like, oh man, you had watched so long you
- 7:44Speaker 1: forgot that was legal? Right the last the guy was damn,
- 7:48Speaker 1: I forgot you can hit him with the flying knee.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You know, I wanted to ask you about that.
- 7:53Speaker 6: You've shared with us how you were a judge at
- 7:55Speaker 6: a barbecue contest, and if you don't clean your palate
- 7:58Speaker 6: after a certain number of bitesything starts to taste the
- 8:01Speaker 6: same with MMA.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Thirteen people on a card by number six?
- 8:06Speaker 6: Does it just look like people punching each other at
- 8:09Speaker 6: this point, like you don't even really care who's in
- 8:12Speaker 6: the ring anymore. It's just somebody needs somebody or something. Well,
- 8:16Speaker 6: the thing that they they did do a good job
- 8:19Speaker 6: of staggering the weights. Oh by they didn't just give
- 8:23Speaker 6: you all flyweights in a row. Okay, so it was
- 8:27Speaker 6: a flyweight to middle waight like anyway. Some more prone
- 8:32Speaker 6: to tune into that, like hold on, no, dude's a
- 8:34Speaker 6: bigger Let me see how this big man go get
- 8:37Speaker 6: knocked down.
- 8:37Speaker 1: So they had one twenty five, one thirty weight and
- 8:41Speaker 1: then they'll go up to one sixty is their max.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It was no, I think once you over two hundred, yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I think there's one and then over that heavy yeah,
- 8:55Speaker 1: it's heavywhere heavy so, but it was just very interesting
- 8:59Speaker 1: to see it amount of boxing. Really. Kamara Usman, who
- 9:04Speaker 1: was a liast fight he had the technique. He was
- 9:07Speaker 1: just with Buckley. He was he would wait about two
- 9:10Speaker 1: minutes into each round and then he would shoot him,
- 9:13Speaker 1: which means that he would go for his legs. It's
- 9:16Speaker 1: more of a wrestling technique. He would scoop him down
- 9:19Speaker 1: to the ground, get him over on the fence, and
- 9:22Speaker 1: then just rub his face and back into that fence
- 9:26Speaker 1: and you could just see him him bleeding and it
- 9:30Speaker 1: was like he was just gonna I'm gonna slowly bleed
- 9:33Speaker 1: you out. And I'm talking about three They went five
- 9:37Speaker 1: five minute rounds. He had him up again about twenty
- 9:41Speaker 1: minutes and he just was grinding him against that scraping
- 9:45Speaker 1: your face against the chain strategy. That's a strategy. I'm there,
- 9:51Speaker 1: you know, just a strategy of a scrape dude face
- 9:56Speaker 1: on the fence out all part of your vettage. Use
- 9:59Speaker 1: the Yeah, I mean it was, I mean it was
- 10:02Speaker 1: don't even know you could do that until the point
- 10:05Speaker 1: that by the last round. The crowd spent the whole
- 10:09Speaker 1: last round cheering that Buckley finally didn't allow him to
- 10:16Speaker 1: do that to him, right, yeah, get your face off.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And it was a clear cut victory scrubbing that man's
- 10:26Speaker 1: face off. The face, you know, with all the sweat
- 10:28Speaker 1: in the rubber, you could just see the blood dripping
- 10:30Speaker 1: where he's just pressing his like you're saying for those
- 10:33Speaker 1: people who watch wrestling, but this is just I'm gonna
- 10:37Speaker 1: take my one hundred and eighty pounds, I'm gonna lay
- 10:40Speaker 1: it on top of you, push you against this fence, intentionally,
- 10:44Speaker 1: try to run right back on you, back and forth
- 10:48Speaker 1: on this fence, and when you try to get up,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I mean elbow you back. And it was just three
- 10:53Speaker 1: minutes of that in each round. I said, well, this
- 10:56Speaker 1: is his technique. Everybody got a technique to how they're
- 10:59Speaker 1: going to give It was the first. It was the
- 11:02Speaker 1: first when in like four years it was us mine
- 11:06Speaker 1: as Dana White in the building. I didn't see Dana White.
- 11:09Speaker 1: They did have, you know, Vander holy Field came in
- 11:12Speaker 1: and watched it was it was a packed out crowd.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It had to be good, fifteen thousand people at State
- 11:18Speaker 1: Farm Arena, Far Marina. And so what's the rule God
- 11:21Speaker 1: to cut you out? Since she said, you went to
- 11:23Speaker 1: one point thirty.
- 11:24Speaker 9: They cut the music off at twelve, I mean performers concerts,
- 11:28Speaker 9: so they had they had to pay the fine.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And I would imagine for them going past that time. Yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 1: they don't cut your they don't cut your music off.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Oh they cut Bootsy off one time I was at
- 11:37Speaker 1: the Boosy probably wasn't willing Birthday that he would pay
- 11:41Speaker 1: the over Well, it was a birthday bash event, and
- 11:43Speaker 1: so so Birthday bade it probably paid. They didn't as
- 11:46Speaker 1: much as they were going to pack pay. They probably
- 11:48Speaker 1: didn't sign the extension all right, And and when we
- 11:51Speaker 1: UFC comfortably.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Went like, yes, whatever it costs, just bailus. I wanted
- 11:56Speaker 6: to ask overall one to ten, how would you rate the.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Event as for as I would say, if it was
- 12:02Speaker 1: uh eight and a half, okay, it was a good
- 12:05Speaker 1: event to catch it was the only thing was wrong
- 12:08Speaker 1: with it was the lens like you can and I
- 12:10Speaker 1: got there three fights in son you were still there too,
- 12:16Speaker 1: anything like Greg was saying, I would cut down to
- 12:19Speaker 1: maybe see how but the risk is if five or
- 12:24Speaker 1: six of them only go a couple of minutes because
- 12:27Speaker 1: there was only one quick knockout about forty seconds into
- 12:30Speaker 1: the first round, his kid from Augusta caught this guy
- 12:34Speaker 1: and hit him. I thought he had killed him. He
- 12:37Speaker 1: dropped him to the point he fell on his face.
- 12:40Speaker 1: He couldn't even catch hisself.
- 12:41Speaker 7: I was like.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That glass. We weren't we weren't expecting that.
- 12:48Speaker 6: On the night out had a little dinner wine and
- 12:51Speaker 6: witnessed homicide hit him.

- 16:10Speaker 1: The next level.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yees, yees, you know how we do it. Side side,
- 16:32Speaker 2: ain't going nobody.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Welcome back to this one shock show, this one shock,
- 16:36Speaker 1: Wayne Gandec this morning to you. I didn't listening land
- 16:39Speaker 1: Glad to be back. And speaking of back, I was
- 16:43Speaker 1: back watching w NBA Action this weekend. Uh, she came back.
- 16:49Speaker 1: So I came back one of those, the great one.
- 16:55Speaker 1: The league came back, I mean, holy came back. Sack
- 17:01Speaker 1: three o'clock, got me good workout in just right before
- 17:07Speaker 1: ready three o'clock. The league came back to life for
- 17:11Speaker 1: the w NBA. Caitlin Clark pack on the court. The
- 17:14Speaker 1: game's just different.
- 17:17Speaker 6: We assume it's Caitlin Clark because her impact it might
- 17:20Speaker 6: have been a doppel gang.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Hey, look, we're gonna get her snunt double.
- 17:24Speaker 6: She's sitting it home with a whole knee replacement, and
- 17:28Speaker 6: they on some don't worry aboudy, Caitlyn. We can't afford injury,
- 17:32Speaker 6: can afford You'll play tonight, but I can't play.
- 17:37Speaker 1: You will, Caitlyn Clark back in action on Saturday, taking
- 17:42Speaker 1: on the New York Liberty, who were nine and oh uh,
- 17:46Speaker 1: the Indiana Fever barely keeping it together with Caitlyn Clark out,
- 17:51Speaker 1: but with her in a uniform, the game just changes
- 17:56Speaker 1: for the whole w n the A young lady. She
- 18:01Speaker 1: came out, gave you twenty five first half points once again.
- 18:07Speaker 1: She ended up with thirty two points down, assists, nine rebounds,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and she just makes the game.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Two home runs, a stolen base, stolen base. She had
- 18:22Speaker 6: two home runs. She she threw somebody out from left field,
- 18:29Speaker 6: and then she had sixteen rebounds.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And I'm bringing this up, guys, because the w n
- 18:33Speaker 1: b A is in trouble without this young lady. They
- 18:41Speaker 1: go right back to where they want to define trouble.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Trouble meaning that your numbers really are hinging on this
- 18:51Speaker 1: one person. The juice.
- 18:55Speaker 15: The number I think like either ticket sales or it
- 18:58Speaker 15: was TV ratings. I saw a fifty nine drop that
- 19:02Speaker 15: I read a fifty nine percent drop either in the
- 19:06Speaker 15: tickets or the TV ratings because she wasn't playing.
- 19:09Speaker 1: And to have a player, just like we're saying, not
- 19:12Speaker 1: just based on performance, but just the idea. It was
- 19:17Speaker 1: the idea of the Kobe's and the Michael Jordan's and
- 19:21Speaker 1: the Lebron's and those guys, the Steph Curry's if you
- 19:26Speaker 1: find out, because I'm naming those because though in these
- 19:31Speaker 1: years that's been more prominent, I don't know, you must see,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I don't know that when I was a teenager and
- 19:38Speaker 1: watching in the seventies and eighties, people seem to be
- 19:42Speaker 1: more team oriented. I wish my best player was out there,
- 19:46Speaker 1: but I'm about the team, right, And then it became
- 19:49Speaker 1: Michael Jordan introduced us to kind of like Jordan, be
- 19:54Speaker 1: a fan of a specific play guy, right. I mean,
- 19:57Speaker 1: the team's cool. So the NBA go go through it,
- 20:00Speaker 1: and they're trying to do a big time reinvention to
- 20:04Speaker 1: where you're not just hooked on to one player. But
- 20:08Speaker 1: we've seen it with those guys that got people won't
- 20:11Speaker 1: notice if Kobe God resid, so if he ain't playing,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I need y'all to let me know, so I don't
- 20:17Speaker 1: even dry it down here, you know that morning, Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I phone, yeah, I can watch this.
- 20:26Speaker 16: You know.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It really became and and and it's the same thing
- 20:30Speaker 1: that that's great and Asia Wilson only player. I've seen
- 20:39Speaker 1: plays like that just so dominant with Cynthia Cooper where
- 20:44Speaker 1: y'all are just kind of out here. That's the whole
- 20:47Speaker 1: generation between Wilson player. But the impact of excitement that
- 20:55Speaker 1: this young lady Kate and Clark brings puts them in
- 20:58Speaker 1: a position that they got to be somewhere of praying
- 21:00Speaker 1: to the basketball gods that Juju Watkins because not even
- 21:04Speaker 1: Page Becker's game, he's a solid player. She was the
- 21:08Speaker 1: first pick of this year. But you haven't turned on
- 21:10Speaker 1: a Dallas Wings game, have you?
- 21:13Speaker 17: No?
- 21:13Speaker 1: And they're they're not Wait, Dallas got a tag. Yeah,
- 21:16Speaker 1: they got the bad No, I'm saying, I'm sure it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: a good team. I'm not the.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Lead.
- 21:26Speaker 1: They've been in Dallas for a few years. Okay, yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and I'm Dallas, which fast enough. I think they're like
- 21:31Speaker 1: Greg is saying, with the numbers, the numbers, ratings just
- 21:35Speaker 1: drop and it seems like uh the w M And
- 21:38Speaker 1: I was honest last show where I was like, well,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I have kind of checked out too, and then she
- 21:43Speaker 1: came back. She went to doing the same dazzling things
- 21:47Speaker 1: that it seems that no one else possesses. They don't
- 21:51Speaker 1: possess all the Swiss army knives. They have the scoring
- 21:56Speaker 1: or they have the passing, they have something, but they
- 21:58Speaker 1: don't have the excitement. And she's just like the you know,
- 22:02Speaker 1: like I always say, she's just the Steph Curry of
- 22:05Speaker 1: the w NBA. You're sitting there waiting, is she far
- 22:11Speaker 1: enough out? Is you know? She seems to be standing
- 22:13Speaker 1: on the field house signed. Maybe now people are anticipating
- 22:18Speaker 1: that it might just go up right now, So great
- 22:21Speaker 1: excitement for Caitlyn Clark. And you can tell when they
- 22:24Speaker 1: say clark andomics and how big that is.
- 22:27Speaker 6: And speaking clarkonomics same thing. Make you laugh, make you
- 22:30Speaker 6: cry when you out here, we up is lit. But
- 22:34Speaker 6: when you've not then all of that stuff we've been
- 22:37Speaker 6: saying about we putting a good product in front of
- 22:41Speaker 6: the ain't nobody believe in that? Are you damaging yourself
- 22:45Speaker 6: when she's not there? What everything you done sold me
- 22:48Speaker 6: about this game means nothing without this piece of this puzzle.
- 22:52Speaker 6: And that's a dangerous thing to be. Yes, That's what
- 22:55Speaker 6: I'm saying. Once once that becomes glaringly clear.
- 22:59Speaker 1: And only in our recent times, those early years of
- 23:03Speaker 1: Tiger Woods, we're kind of like that where if he
- 23:08Speaker 1: ain't in it. Yeah, you tell me Tiger. I don't. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: the US you know, it's just the US Open, bro, nobody.
- 23:18Speaker 1: It might just be people just watching on Sunday to
- 23:21Speaker 1: watch Tiger and like if he's you know, he's not close,
- 23:25Speaker 1: I'm not watching. And then the other w Anglice had
- 23:29Speaker 1: her first triple double yesterday.
- 23:32Speaker 15: Who the recipient for sportswomen of the Year, Larissa.
- 23:40Speaker 1: She doesn't want to put them hands on. I bet
- 23:43Speaker 1: she don't want none of them. That didn't see any
- 23:45Speaker 1: greens we're talking about.
- 23:48Speaker 18: Came back.
- 23:50Speaker 1: She would tell y'all see angels. She's taking pictures. Tell
- 23:54Speaker 1: angel I'm looking for I'll be outside. And also she goes,
- 23:59Speaker 1: now be back right up. I see you staring like
- 24:07Speaker 1: you want. Maybe if God better let the lick the bony.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I'm still tipsy from last night. Pumping the falls as.
- 24:13Speaker 8: A palls to the fast light, Don't go Awayne Born
- 24:18Speaker 8: of the Sports Josh Hill with Wayne Dandridas.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Coming up next.
- 24:22Speaker 19: Uh oh brah, that's buzzed.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, he's starting with the woots and now
- 24:29Speaker 1: a speech.
- 24:30Speaker 10: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 24:33Speaker 10: heart and brain.
- 24:35Speaker 20: Who's with me?
- 24:36Speaker 21: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 24:38Speaker 21: brain is saying, when it's time to go home, Somebody
- 24:41Speaker 21: call me a ride.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Love that guy, me too.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Know your buzzed warning signs, call for a ride when
- 24:47Speaker 1: it's time to go home.
- 24:48Speaker 11: Buzz driving is drunk driving.
- 24:49Speaker 1: A Messageremitza and the AD.
- 24:51Speaker 11: Council Lena Bloom for the Bail Project.
- 24:54Speaker 21: Imagine you're stuck in a jail cell and you can't
- 24:57Speaker 21: afford Bell, and someone offers you away out. Just plead
- 25:01Speaker 21: guilty and you can go home and kiss your kids
- 25:03Speaker 21: good night.
- 25:04Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 25:05Speaker 21: What thousands have you plead guilty whether you are or not.
- 25:10Speaker 21: Cash Bell makes poverty a crime. That's why the Bell
- 25:14Speaker 21: Project helps those who can't afford it while fighting to
- 25:17Speaker 21: in cash bail because freedom should be free.

- 26:44Speaker 11: Honey, Home, my babies, I count woke up.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Look a fund of Barkley hot Keate.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Keep a horn on me that my c hot pete.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Holy shit, the blueprint is by me.
- 26:52Speaker 11: Mister get off, I get off and my feet.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to this hoy shock shower. I'm this horshock
- 27:02Speaker 1: wing candy a good morning. Halfway through the month of June.
- 27:08Speaker 1: We are Game five tonight too too. The Indiana Pacers
- 27:12Speaker 1: OKAC thunder headed back to OKC for Game five, right
- 27:20Speaker 1: because they changed the format It used to be two
- 27:22Speaker 1: three to two, and then everybody wanted to complain, but
- 27:28Speaker 1: they were doing it back then to kind of cut
- 27:30Speaker 1: down on the traveling and give the underdog a little
- 27:34Speaker 1: more I would guess a little more juicer house at home. Yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 1: those three games at home, they really give them get
- 27:44Speaker 1: in time. So bad producer who thought I was gonna
- 27:49Speaker 1: miss the whole Angel Reach thing. As you noticed in
- 27:51Speaker 1: that whole segment, he didn't mention anything about Caitlyn Clark,
- 27:57Speaker 1: which is why our media is so screwed screwed up
- 28:01Speaker 1: these days, because people, if theyre don't if you're not
- 28:03Speaker 1: talking about who they want to talk about, they don't
- 28:05Speaker 1: have anything to say. Timeline is saying, Yes, it's just
- 28:09Speaker 1: scary how he can be void in a segment about
- 28:13Speaker 1: Caitlin Clark and think I missed out on but I
- 28:15Speaker 1: was gonna tie Angel Reaes in with Clarissa Shields, so
- 28:21Speaker 1: I was not going to skip over her eleven points
- 28:24Speaker 1: eleven and assists twelve seconds. It's whatever kind of like
- 28:31Speaker 1: what Clarissa Shield says at the BT Wards Angel reason
- 28:36Speaker 1: as you have to say. I'm not knocking Angel Reese,
- 28:39Speaker 1: as Clarissa Shiels mentioned, but she thought it was about
- 28:45Speaker 1: accolades winning the Sportswoman of the Year award for bet.
- 28:49Speaker 1: She didn't understand where Angel Reese had the accolade and
- 28:55Speaker 1: we're talking about a field where for this award, Angel,
- 29:00Speaker 1: I mean Asia Wilson, co Cooke, Goff, Don Staley, claj Johnson,
- 29:07Speaker 1: Juju Watkin, Chakari Richardson, Simon Bows. These were the candidates.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Damn family, My mama be listening to bro. I'm saying,
- 29:25Speaker 1: but sorry, Mama, my bad, bad. You raised me better
- 29:31Speaker 1: than that. But I'm saying these were the people in
- 29:33Speaker 1: the category with her, and she.
- 29:36Speaker 6: And my mama and Clarissa Ship and my mama listening
- 29:40Speaker 6: like it's all right, baby, She's saying the same thing.
- 29:42Speaker 1: At home, I'm saying the same thing. Don't worry about it.
- 29:45Speaker 1: That seems a little bit Clarissa shills. In the past year,
- 29:50Speaker 1: she defeated Vanessa Janice for the w b A light
- 29:54Speaker 1: heavyweight and the w b C heavyweight titles.
- 29:58Speaker 22: Uh.
- 29:59Speaker 1: And she also so defeated Danielle Perkins for the WBA
- 30:05Speaker 1: heavy weight So basically she won two different belts in
- 30:09Speaker 1: the same year, different weight class, different weight classes. And
- 30:14Speaker 1: she and her mind thought winning the award has something
- 30:17Speaker 1: to do with accomplished. To do a little accomplishment, I
- 30:21Speaker 1: didne beat up a bunch of people in the last
- 30:24Speaker 1: and ain't nobody gonna say nothing about that.
- 30:26Speaker 6: There's a bunch of folks got swollen lips and loose
- 30:29Speaker 6: teeth because of me.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Y'all don't want to y'all don't want to mention that.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And her make sure her quote was, ain't nobody saying
- 30:39Speaker 1: angel Rees don't have accolades or she's not good. I'm
- 30:43Speaker 1: saying I thought the person with the most accolades and
- 30:48Speaker 1: the most accomplishments would win the award. Now stop the
- 30:55Speaker 1: person with the most.
- 31:01Speaker 6: Defined that because we are talking about sports woman, so
- 31:05Speaker 6: we talk about all the sports.
- 31:08Speaker 1: The tennis, coco golf, won the French Open, Carl Richson,
- 31:13Speaker 1: she did. She said.
- 31:15Speaker 6: She want a gold medal if they're going back from
- 31:18Speaker 6: throughout the last year. Last year, turned things. I'm talking
- 31:21Speaker 6: about smoked the whole bag of weed and din turned
- 31:24Speaker 6: everything around.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Uh who else did? She won a national championship, A
- 31:31Speaker 1: Wilson was the m v P and the.
- 31:35Speaker 6: Medal the world Craig, I'm talking about you know, come on,
- 31:38Speaker 6: man won a couple more goals. A couple more goals.
- 31:43Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. Now, she's the most decorated or something,
- 31:46Speaker 6: isn't she? And and what shottown Barbie did it?
- 31:51Speaker 1: How?
- 31:52Speaker 9: Tell us this is this is your how she how
- 31:57Speaker 9: she jumped in the last year. Hey, I'm still shot hot.
- 32:01Speaker 9: Gloria won the Gospel Award on BT this on the
- 32:05Speaker 9: BTR this time. I mean, I'm not permission to treat
- 32:10Speaker 9: the witnesses hospital. Thought Don Stalley should have won. But
- 32:13Speaker 9: you know, well that's not what we asked you to do, though.
- 32:16Speaker 9: You to explain you were big on angelies.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I was big. I was just just dropping a nugget.
- 32:22Speaker 1: And she got the first triple double. Well, explain this
- 32:25Speaker 1: award winning for her over these other eight your mental
- 32:30Speaker 1: people imagine because she had a grade and Wilson have
- 32:33Speaker 1: a statue. Yes, she.
- 32:40Speaker 6: She played it at South Carolina and still got a
- 32:44Speaker 6: statue and too much.
- 32:45Speaker 1: It's about six five because you know, I you know,
- 32:50Speaker 1: I'm saying that's when they called me. That's what they called.
- 32:52Speaker 6: It's like when they escaped from the rock, they called
- 32:55Speaker 6: Sean Connery when when they started about six three.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Ain't no prody for the call six But go ahead, sir,
- 33:06Speaker 1: tell us how Asia Wilson, Coco Golf, Don Staley Flage.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I'm saying that right right Fla, Je Johnson, Juju Watkins
- 33:15Speaker 1: of USC, I hope you come back. N w NBA
- 33:19Speaker 1: needs you, not just USC, but they need that Kobe type. Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 1: that kind of game, you know, they need that kind
- 33:28Speaker 1: of game in the w n B A Shikari Richardson
- 33:31Speaker 1: Simone bi.
- 33:33Speaker 9: Yeah, I can't believe she beat Shikari or going as
- 33:36Speaker 9: far as U. The only thing I can imagine since
- 33:42Speaker 9: she came in what second place with you? The year
- 33:44Speaker 9: in w n B A, she had a great season.
- 33:47Speaker 9: All the promotions McDonald's, all.
- 33:50Speaker 1: The promotion, sports swimming of the year, Promote promotions, get
- 33:55Speaker 1: you a promotion.
- 33:57Speaker 9: A great agent, man, you gotta get a good agent.
- 33:59Speaker 9: So Clarice Shields, you're saying, you're saying agent should have
- 34:08Speaker 9: had Ali's agent. What's the Muhammad Ali's daughter.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Well, Clarissa Shills and they just released a movie of
- 34:15Speaker 1: her in the last year. What's the name of that movie?
- 34:20Speaker 1: It's on Netflix during the commercial breakout looking and and.
- 34:25Speaker 6: This is the thing, this is the thing I want
- 34:28Speaker 6: to ask though, Hm, you're saying she should have had
- 34:32Speaker 6: Ali's agent.
- 34:33Speaker 1: No, I'm just know what I'm saying.
- 34:38Speaker 9: If there are other women besides Corystal Shields on that
- 34:42Speaker 9: listen did better than her, So but for her to
- 34:45Speaker 9: speak up and speak out and there's not the fire
- 34:50Speaker 9: inside the boxing, well what I'm saying the boxing world,
- 34:53Speaker 9: even on the men's side, we know it's down, so
- 34:55Speaker 9: you know, we're really not watching the women on the boxing.
- 34:58Speaker 1: So she's already behind it right now.
- 35:00Speaker 6: Now wait, now, I know you ain't blaming in on viewership.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Anger rees was playing when Caitlyn Clark was out and
- 35:08Speaker 6: the viewers. No, no, no, I'm still I'm saying. I'm
- 35:13Speaker 6: saying you're trying to you think Caitlyn, you're trying to
- 35:16Speaker 6: equate Clarissa Shields not having any visibility with the fact
- 35:21Speaker 6: that it's women's boxing when we've just finished talking about
- 35:25Speaker 6: nobody's watching the w n B at yet he won it.
- 35:31Speaker 9: Last year, because this is based on last year up
- 35:34Speaker 9: until that moment, all I'm saying.
- 35:36Speaker 1: But wouldn't you just couldn't we wrap a bowl on
- 35:39Speaker 1: this and say, basically, Angel Rees wins the popularity contest.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Always Clarissa Shields is basically saying the truth because to me,
- 35:51Speaker 1: because it has to me, because for me, what she's
- 35:54Speaker 1: saying is not just me. These other women on the
- 35:57Speaker 1: list that I thought we're going to actually be my
- 35:59Speaker 1: comfort Petitian Simone Biles. If you on the list, you
- 36:04Speaker 1: get your your your resume for accolades is the lowest
- 36:07Speaker 1: of what I see someone Biles are such a great
- 36:10Speaker 1: gymnast that she started being confused by doing flips.
- 36:15Speaker 6: And had to lead a sport because she had the flippy,
- 36:18Speaker 6: spinny bendy things.
- 36:20Speaker 1: And then she came back and won some morning. And
- 36:24Speaker 1: that's the thing about awards and I think across the board.
- 36:27Speaker 1: And that's kind of why I brought this to the
- 36:29Speaker 1: panel today, to the show is just now we see
- 36:33Speaker 1: it seeping into notaz the sport itself. How many times
- 36:39Speaker 1: have we talked about the NBA and NFL and basically
- 36:42Speaker 1: the failure of a lot of these all star games
- 36:46Speaker 1: started becoming that you were not sending people that deserved
- 36:51Speaker 1: the stars, right, You were singing just the people who
- 36:54Speaker 1: had the most recognition consistently to where people are getting
- 37:01Speaker 1: turned off in sideshow attraction, even the players themselves that
- 37:05Speaker 1: are playing getting upset that you sent this guy. He
- 37:09Speaker 1: might be a better player than me, but this year
- 37:13Speaker 1: I put up better numbers and you still send him
- 37:16Speaker 1: that kind of thing, which becomes frustrating. And he's and
- 37:19Speaker 1: he sat out because I'm not telling you that he
- 37:21Speaker 1: sat out thirty three of sixty games this year though, right,
- 37:25Speaker 1: he was out thirty of sixty games, and he still
- 37:28Speaker 1: went went So Clarissa shields VT Award going to bad
- 37:35Speaker 1: producer's favorite WNBA player, and that way.
- 37:42Speaker 9: I wouldn't say she's my favorite WNBA player. Oh really,
- 37:45Speaker 9: I got to get a new one down Tross.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Clarissa rolled up in the green room like, what's up, Angel,
- 37:51Speaker 1: what's up? Kari? What y'all got on my forty?
- 37:55Speaker 12: But you know.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Nine, oh, I know two ballers like y'all. That's so
- 38:03Speaker 1: we'll be back to Sports Do Show right after this.
- 38:07Speaker 1: You can get under.

- 40:36Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy.
- 41:00Speaker 24: Locked one say you can see a sports chant, I'll
- 41:04Speaker 24: sing even.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm in the
- 41:09Speaker 1: sworshock wing kin d. Former NFL star Antonio Brown I
- 41:16Speaker 1: wanted for attempted murder charges down in Miami. This stems
- 41:21Speaker 1: from incident a couple of weeks ago. We talked about
- 41:25Speaker 1: ab uh and a gun and then you know his
- 41:30Speaker 1: swag and it's similar to the pac Man Jones guys
- 41:37Speaker 1: that seemed to want to barcode on their chest, you
- 41:42Speaker 1: know there. I guess it's some guys that they're not
- 41:44Speaker 1: gonna until they can hit put that tattoo. There's certain
- 41:48Speaker 1: things they got they dream about, right you imagine there
- 41:52Speaker 1: has to be some people dream like they don't want
- 41:55Speaker 1: to be in there for elb them, but they like
- 41:58Speaker 1: to have that crib. I'm saying I ain't judging because one, six, five, eight,
- 42:02Speaker 1: two nine, this is nothing. I ain't going judge. Got
- 42:06Speaker 1: out every morning we got shut up somebody right one
- 42:11Speaker 1: we shot at somebody. I literally literally try to not
- 42:15Speaker 1: go to places that I think that you ain't never
- 42:18Speaker 1: shot at nobody after that park. No, I haven't even
- 42:23Speaker 1: gotten in an argument after the party me neither, and
- 42:29Speaker 1: it's not popular. Has he turned himself in? And where
- 42:33Speaker 1: am I on this? I saw him riding on the
- 42:35Speaker 1: bicycle the other day. So see, and this is what
- 42:42Speaker 1: I'm saying. You just can't.
- 42:44Speaker 6: You just can't ride that spectrum of of rolla Coasta
- 42:49Speaker 6: in the span of forty eight hours. Just can't try
- 42:52Speaker 6: and murder somebody on a Saturday night and be out
- 42:55Speaker 6: riding your bike on a Sunday afternoon.
- 42:57Speaker 1: And the thing that's so funny, I think sometimes from
- 43:00Speaker 1: the sadness because I see him as a fellow alumnus.
- 43:03Speaker 1: We're talking about the guy that's definitely going to the
- 43:05Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. They might hit him with a little
- 43:07Speaker 1: of that to treatment where they hold him out. He's
- 43:10Speaker 1: really a first ballot, but his antics in this this
- 43:14Speaker 1: and this stuff, in this stuff cook push him back.
- 43:18Speaker 1: We're talking about a young man that it is still
- 43:24Speaker 1: of an age that he could even he could have
- 43:27Speaker 1: been in the NFL. He's not out of the NFL
- 43:30Speaker 1: because of years of age, and he didn't leave because
- 43:34Speaker 1: of an injury. He's thirty six years old. We saw
- 43:38Speaker 1: people like the great Jerry Rice and Tim Brown, Larry Fitzgerald,
- 43:45Speaker 1: You know, we've seen guys, even receivers still get a
- 43:49Speaker 1: year or two in their late thirties. Good friend Isaac Bruce,
- 43:57Speaker 1: dealing guy with Carolina. There's plenty of receivers that were
- 44:02Speaker 1: still playing in the NFL, still still the number two option.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Randy Moss, treel one, all these guys was around at
- 44:13Speaker 1: thirty six and all we've been doing and AB's been
- 44:16Speaker 1: out what now, three four years, so we're talking about
- 44:21Speaker 1: at thirty about thirty two, thirty three he was and
- 44:27Speaker 1: to just see him tumble down from crazy ideas of bankruptcy.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Wasn't playing that guy paying the guys on the arena,
- 44:36Speaker 1: ball to arguments, to wrap to everything that he's just
- 44:42Speaker 1: going I get troubled because some times these things end
- 44:48Speaker 1: up with where they're telling you a player, it's been
- 44:52Speaker 1: found in a hotel room right right now, I mean
- 44:55Speaker 1: you know and you already know the rest of it,
- 44:59Speaker 1: and now just don't break in. This in the hotel
- 45:03Speaker 1: room means.
- 45:04Speaker 6: It's something tragical has happened. And this is what I
- 45:09Speaker 6: get frozen in this space sports shot honestly that we
- 45:14Speaker 6: get troubled about this, but how many times are we
- 45:18Speaker 6: going to allow Ab mister big chess, mister big checks
- 45:24Speaker 6: to trouble us. I mean, at this point, it's just
- 45:29Speaker 6: ab abing, you, see what I'm saying. And that's what
- 45:33Speaker 6: I start to worry about is people like this. When
- 45:37Speaker 6: they first do things, people are concerned and they want
- 45:40Speaker 6: to come to their aid and they want to offer
- 45:42Speaker 6: them some sort of sound advice. But then after about
- 45:46Speaker 6: one hundred and fifty sound advice conversations, what I'm supposed
- 45:49Speaker 6: to say.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Well, I'm not. I'm not trying to say you can
- 45:53Speaker 1: walk him back right at this point, I'm saying these
- 45:57Speaker 1: this this window of time, it is a critical time
- 46:02Speaker 1: for Yes, it is. And a lot of this is
- 46:05Speaker 1: especially when the thing that you have been doing and
- 46:08Speaker 1: you really define yourself, which is the NFL or the sport,
- 46:13Speaker 1: has been removed. It's hard when you have done it
- 46:18Speaker 1: and done it comfortably and done it to the level
- 46:22Speaker 1: where you're willing to walk away and hardly that guy
- 46:25Speaker 1: still is telling you it's hard to be away from it.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Someone like Antonio Brown, who now, would you know the
- 46:33Speaker 1: different issues that he's had now you financially, yeah, and
- 46:38Speaker 1: see this is when you look at him and you're
- 46:40Speaker 1: still your mid thirties.
- 46:42Speaker 6: And when you look at him, you think all of
- 46:45Speaker 6: these wounds are self inflicted. I mean, you could be
- 46:48Speaker 6: playing at a high level, you could be making the money,
- 46:51Speaker 6: you could have all of these.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Endorsements, but you don't. Why why.
- 46:55Speaker 6: It's not because people are blackballing you or hating on you.
- 46:57Speaker 6: It's because you won't get your together.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Now, have any of you followed this to be able
- 47:03Speaker 1: to give us an idea these charges, even though they
- 47:08Speaker 1: could be excessive. But he is the perpetrator, right, Yeah,
- 47:12Speaker 1: he was. It was a.
- 47:14Speaker 9: Gun when he fired the gun. He fired it in
- 47:16Speaker 9: the air. But they're trying to say when he started
- 47:19Speaker 9: chasing the guy. The thing is, he didn't have the
- 47:22Speaker 9: gun when he started. After he fired in the air,
- 47:24Speaker 9: he started chasing him. And now that's where the dilemma's
- 47:28Speaker 9: at now. Didn't have the gun on him when it
- 47:30Speaker 9: was chasing that And that's where they say, and he
- 47:32Speaker 9: didn't that's a discription.
- 47:34Speaker 1: But whether he had the gun, I didn't have the
- 47:36Speaker 1: gun when he was chasing him.
- 47:37Speaker 6: Now, reasonable expectation of a person who sees you fire
- 47:43Speaker 6: a gun in the air and then it starts running
- 47:45Speaker 6: towards me, is that you still got the gun.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I didn't see you put the gun up. I didn't
- 47:49Speaker 1: see you throw the gun away. I didn't see you
- 47:51Speaker 1: tucked the gun.
- 47:52Speaker 6: So I'm still in fear for my life as if
- 47:55Speaker 6: you're trying to murder me, which is why he was
- 47:57Speaker 6: charged with attempted murder.
- 47:59Speaker 9: As I stated, they know that, and there's a video
- 48:02Speaker 9: he should the shots go off in the air. But
- 48:05Speaker 9: the discrepancy is when he started chasing the young man,
- 48:08Speaker 9: did he have the gun?
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm saying, So Antonio Brown is going to need someone
- 48:13Speaker 1: to prove that. He come up and testify that they
- 48:17Speaker 1: took the gun away from him.
- 48:19Speaker 6: He didn't have when he started chasing. Shot and then
- 48:22Speaker 6: I gave the gun the Big Kenny and then I chased,
- 48:25Speaker 6: So now you're in possession of a weapon. Charge may
- 48:27Speaker 6: get dropped, but all that other stuff gonna stand. It's
- 48:30Speaker 6: like robbing a gun.
- 48:33Speaker 1: To murder. If he didn't have the gun when he
- 48:35Speaker 1: was chasing, that's the biggest thing. Okay, that's his biggest
- 48:39Speaker 1: hurdle that he's going to have to prove that he
- 48:41Speaker 1: didn't have the gun when he went in the in
- 48:43Speaker 1: the chase. Somebody else is going to have to take
- 48:46Speaker 1: he willing to go to jail for him.
- 48:48Speaker 6: Because that's an aggravated assault or something is going to
- 48:51Speaker 6: come up back.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I mean, you make them firing in the open space, you.
- 48:55Speaker 9: Know, discharging the gun. You're not because don't be shoot
- 49:00Speaker 9: at anybody else. That's another thing.
- 49:02Speaker 1: But if you're at the Falcon game, down at the
- 49:04Speaker 1: tailgate and you shoot the gun with all the people,
- 49:07Speaker 1: that's a crime.
- 49:08Speaker 9: Yeah, it's discharging that in the publish and then if
- 49:10Speaker 9: I watch you do that and take that firearm from
- 49:13Speaker 9: you and conceal that evidence.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Now I'm in as much trouble as you are. We'll
- 49:18Speaker 1: be back with more than sports. Well that's the only way.
- 49:20Speaker 1: You can't be quiet, because that's the only way you're
- 49:22Speaker 1: gonna get off. How else are you gonna prove you
- 49:24Speaker 1: don't have the gun?
- 49:26Speaker 9: You better those somebody have a video where he's running
- 49:29Speaker 9: the gun. Never go to court with this dude out
- 49:31Speaker 9: and told you.
- 49:33Speaker 1: To court.
- 49:36Speaker 10: Let me.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Check go because I don't go on the head because

- 50:45Speaker 25: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 50:49Speaker 25: It's a powerful opio It often made illegally and commonly
- 50:52Speaker 25: mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into
- 50:55Speaker 25: counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about
- 51:00Speaker 25: the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially
- 51:02Speaker 25: be lethal. This isn't an AD to scare you, but
- 51:04Speaker 25: it isn't ad to make you think twice. Get the facts.
- 51:08Speaker 25: Go to Real Deal on fentanyl dot com. This message
- 51:11Speaker 25: is brought to you by the Ad Council.
- 51:15Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gan.
- 51:20Speaker 26: Center cord on sports news gossip, blah blah blah blah.
- 51:37Speaker 7: It's just being a distant world. I got nothing against
- 51:48Speaker 7: the Welcome back to the sports shocks shop. I'm the
- 51:53Speaker 7: sports shock Wayne Gand it might not be me against
- 51:56Speaker 7: the world. But it was DeMarcus Cousin, the veteran in
- 52:00Speaker 7: NBA player down in the Puerto Rican Basketball Association who
- 52:05Speaker 7: got into a brawl with a couple of fans. But
- 52:09Speaker 7: De Marcus says he wants to apologize to the fans
- 52:13Speaker 7: in Puerto Rico for his actions.
- 52:16Speaker 1: I have so much love and respect for the island.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I want Shaw to know that he posted that he
- 52:23Speaker 1: has a lot of love and respect for the island
- 52:26Speaker 1: of Puerto Rico, so he didn't really mean it, but
- 52:32Speaker 1: as a usual suspect, I kind of have to hold,
- 52:37Speaker 1: how do you not mean it? You saw what he did?
- 52:41Speaker 1: She sounds like you you kind of like to get
- 52:44Speaker 1: in this kind of stuff. That was what he did,
- 52:46Speaker 1: was not That's not an accident. Any slapper teacher in
- 52:48Speaker 1: high school one teacher to I ain't judging in his defense.
- 53:00Speaker 1: We didn't all slapped the teacher. M right thought about
- 53:02Speaker 1: it was in middle school because I wouldn't have yet.
- 53:05Speaker 1: But what I'm saying, we didn't all swung on the teacher,
- 53:07Speaker 1: Am I right? DeMarcus went out of the country and
- 53:11Speaker 1: went to the basketball League. I think they suspended him
- 53:14Speaker 1: for the rest of the season. Yes, so he got
- 53:17Speaker 1: into an altercation with multiple spectators doing the game, and uh,
- 53:25Speaker 1: this doesn't help him get back in the NBA.
- 53:27Speaker 15: No, not no, not no, you sl what he did, right,
- 53:30Speaker 15: He already did not secual assault. He was talking to
- 53:35Speaker 15: a fan, yeah, and then he grabbed his grabbed his junk.
- 53:40Speaker 6: Did no no, Mark, He walked over to the fan
- 53:44Speaker 6: at face level of his junk, then grabs his junk.
- 53:50Speaker 7: On.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Let me make sure I got this right, y'all saying
- 53:53Speaker 1: I'm I got an ocean candidate, sir.
- 53:57Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no, no, no no, no, no, no,
- 53:59Speaker 6: we're not sending ship out for this one. Ain't no
- 54:03Speaker 6: need to push nobody off the boat.
- 54:05Speaker 1: We just go there.
- 54:06Speaker 6: We just gonna make you walk into the water from
- 54:09Speaker 6: the shore just broke, and we're gonna put the gun
- 54:12Speaker 6: in his hands.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Take me through this.
- 54:14Speaker 1: The Marcus gets into it with a fan. They're going
- 54:17Speaker 1: back and forth, and at some point six ten and
- 54:21Speaker 1: a half inch two hundred and ninety nine pounds, the
- 54:25Speaker 1: marks cousin that might have been his junk reaches down
- 54:29Speaker 1: with that forty two inch long wingspan, yeah, and grabs
- 54:34Speaker 1: this fan right, no, no, no, no.
- 54:36Speaker 6: No, no, no, no.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Right here, sir. Oh, he grabbed his own, and then
- 54:47Speaker 1: the fan put his hands in the fans fans, and
- 54:50Speaker 1: then the fan fan was like, wait a minute, your
- 54:52Speaker 1: finger staked right, I guess he thought, because ant man
- 54:57Speaker 1: got away with it. It said, my so let me
- 55:01Speaker 1: do this.
- 55:02Speaker 15: That was insane something not actually I think as bad
- 55:08Speaker 15: as a gesture though, both of them wrong regardless of
- 55:13Speaker 15: Just just call me something.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Don't hit me so. I don't know how you. I
- 55:17Speaker 1: don't know how you. That old adage is true, Sticks
- 55:21Speaker 1: and stones will break my bone. You calling me a
- 55:25Speaker 1: name sugar Bell. Yeah, I didn't do I could just
- 55:30Speaker 1: switch that big shoe. You know what I'm saying made
- 55:34Speaker 1: me feel uncomfortable. I canna make that sound gangs the
- 55:37Speaker 1: big shoe. Okay, sugar Bell, that kind of makes me uncomfortable,
- 55:41Speaker 1: but it didn't hurt. Yeah, but you're swinging on me,
- 55:43Speaker 1: gonna get you fined and so so and throwing out
- 55:46Speaker 1: the league. Yeah, and you already important and it's already
- 55:50Speaker 1: hard to find these leagues to play. Yeah, that's what
- 55:53Speaker 1: I'm saying. You already.
- 55:56Speaker 15: Also are in smaller countries where they're you know, you
- 56:00Speaker 15: playing in Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic or you know,
- 56:04Speaker 15: somewhere in South America.
- 56:06Speaker 1: So like you said, there there's it's.
- 56:09Speaker 9: Well, that league in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is elite.
- 56:12Speaker 9: There's a lot of players who injured and go and play.
- 56:15Speaker 9: Remember that's where Robert Traylor tried the trailer died. He
- 56:18Speaker 9: was down there in the Puerto Rican League a couple
- 56:20Speaker 9: of years back, trying to get back in shape to
- 56:22Speaker 9: get back to the NBA.
- 56:24Speaker 1: This is he was on his way to try to
- 56:26Speaker 1: work his way back to the right. Right.
- 56:28Speaker 6: So the established reality is that this is a road back. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 6: because a lot of the major refs they go to,
- 56:37Speaker 6: we have there, so you're already on your way trying
- 56:42Speaker 6: to get back. Yeah, and you do something else to
- 56:47Speaker 6: mess you up. So now you got to do what?
- 56:49Speaker 6: Go another step back? Is the only point that we're
- 56:52Speaker 6: trying to make. He's not helping himself because with any
- 56:55Speaker 6: of them.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Mainly because from from what we know now, I've never
- 56:59Speaker 1: really seen as a talent level because he's always had
- 57:02Speaker 1: enough talent, in my opinion, talent with his size to
- 57:06Speaker 1: at least come off somebody's bench. Yes, So what what
- 57:09Speaker 1: that happens to end up being is either your leadership
- 57:13Speaker 1: kind of with Big Kenny, or your coach ability that
- 57:17Speaker 1: nobody wants to deal with managing you because a lot
- 57:21Speaker 1: of times we've seen them when you have you, when
- 57:25Speaker 1: I have to manage you, I have to see you
- 57:27Speaker 1: as a starter. Oh yeah, Well, you know it's kind
- 57:32Speaker 1: of like we talk about certain personalities like a Cam Newton.
- 57:37Speaker 1: A lot of people either they're go get Cam to start,
- 57:41Speaker 1: but he's gonna be on the bench, but they don't
- 57:44Speaker 1: want to manage him as a backup. Right.
- 57:48Speaker 15: That's why the Patriots released him because he's gonna be
- 57:51Speaker 15: a backup, but they saw him also as a distraction.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I can just go get James because jameis we strong,
- 57:58Speaker 1: Jamis is a teammate. He gonna just regardless of he's
- 58:02Speaker 1: all in it to be James. You you throw an interception,
- 58:06Speaker 1: He's gonna come over and don't worry about it. We're
- 58:08Speaker 1: gonna you you you halfway home? You fifty to fifty
- 58:11Speaker 1: good enough.
- 58:12Speaker 6: Cam gonna come over with the Oh man, I can't
- 58:15Speaker 6: believe I'm not in there. I would have never thrown
- 58:18Speaker 6: that in him.
- 58:18Speaker 1: DeMarcus has that same kind of I think a little
- 58:21Speaker 1: bit of why Ai. Even though Ai didn't want to
- 58:24Speaker 1: accept that once people didn't see him as a starter,
- 58:28Speaker 1: they wanted to come off the bench. He just decided
- 58:29Speaker 1: to retire. But if he had wanted to come off
- 58:32Speaker 1: the bench, he stayed around another two or three years.
- 58:37Speaker 1: James will I always give him credit that when he
- 58:39Speaker 1: left Tampa he made a Charlie Batch move that whatever
- 58:44Speaker 1: games I start, it will just happen to be circumstances.
- 58:47Speaker 1: But I'm never gonna be the guy that's trying to
- 58:53Speaker 1: get an organization to make me the starter again. I'm
- 58:57Speaker 1: just here. We're strong. I'm strong, you strong, Be strong.
- 59:01Speaker 1: We'll be back for the Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Well, boys and being enjoy you is that my DNA
- 59:07Speaker 2: I got my membus? Your flowing is that my dna
- 59:11Speaker 2: I was born like this?
- 59:12Speaker 1: It's more like this.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Did you make you lick conception? Not just borm like this,
- 59:15Speaker 2: but form like this?

- 59:17Speaker 1: No, women don't go away. More of the Sports Jock

- 59:25Speaker 27: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 59:28Speaker 27: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 59:31Speaker 27: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 59:34Speaker 27: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 59:37Speaker 27: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 59:40Speaker 27: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 59:43Speaker 27: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 59:47Speaker 27: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 59:50Speaker 27: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 59:53Speaker 27: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 59:56Speaker 27: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 59:59Speaker 27: being that good world model as well, that model's good
- 1:00:02Speaker 27: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:00:05Speaker 27: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:00:08Speaker 27: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:00:11Speaker 27: and watching your kids be happy.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Never stop being a dad. That's dedication.

- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Welcome back to the sport Shock, Shine, the Sports Shock,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Wayne Gandy, glad to be here with you, Big Canny
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Bad Producer comand you Greg. Halfway through the month of June,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: as we have mentioned, Game five tonight in the NBA Finals,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I know a lot of whats have forgotten that this
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: finals is time in a while that we haven't had
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a brand name in the finals, some kind of storyline
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: when it. You know, this year, as good as Shay
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: is for wholek see, he still hasn't become a household
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: name yet. His demeanor, he has a very classyness about
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: him so far on the court, so he doesn't he's
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: not super big. You know, he doesn't have this but
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: what what you call it? This gimmick? Right, there's no gimmick.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: He doesn't have a last name that flows he's He
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: hasn't been demanded to win a title. He's just been
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: allowed to play basketball and very seldom does a superstar
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: like him come along where it's just he gets just
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: to be as good as he is. He has a
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: clean organization right now. As far as teammates, there's no
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Draymond Green type storyline. There's no head coach with some
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: background story.
- 1:03:10Speaker 15: Do you think that's good for the league that there's
- 1:03:12Speaker 15: not a player that that there's this pressure on them
- 1:03:18Speaker 15: to win a championship the way that we may have
- 1:03:21Speaker 15: looked at Lebron previously.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Well, I think it's good from the league for the
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: conspiracy theorists who always believe that the NBA, in the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: NFL and all these teams are in cahoots to always
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: make sure some other marketable team is in the finals.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: You know how you know the Buffalo wild Wing group.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Well, but now they shifted their energies now and because
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: we don't have a perennial favorite or household name in
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: the finals, now, the conspiracy is that it will go
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: seven games because you got to get some money out
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: of it. You know, if this were La versus the Knicks,
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: we could have wrapped it up in a sweep.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: But now, because we had to milk this thing, it's
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: going to go seven. Well, I would still say what
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: about it said it wouldn't go Indiana. It's because both
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: and pretty much he made everybody the same kind of way.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: We're just trying to win enough games to win a series. Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: they're trying to get win number sixteen. That's all they
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: need to see because there's no expectations, there's no pressure,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: and other times you've had certain teams. Neither one of
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: these teams have a demand that they have to do
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: this in this particular way. Okay, see yeah, okay, See
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: it's just supposed to win the series. But there hasn't
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: been this. Oh, they should have swept them right in four.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: You haven't heard any of that, nobody. You know, you
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: figure that if Indiana was gonna win the series, it
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: probably would go for them to win it six seven games, right,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: That's how they beat everybody seven games.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: The only thing I heard about anyone caring about, like
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: I heard that Jay z Hit placed a one million
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: dollar bet that okay, she would win in five. Oh
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: okay it is yeah, and if they don't win in five,
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: then he loses the bet, which means at this point
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: the bet he has been lost. Yeah, So that that
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: it took that kind of information for people to even
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: generate a level of interest in this series. Like you said,
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: I've seen some runs. It's not like I watched Game
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: three and it was amazing.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Or Game one.
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: I watched a little bit of Game one. I caught
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: some of that Game three, you know what I mean.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: And at some point, yeah, I'm going to sleep. Well,
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: I'm done. I'm a fan of the youngster Shay Gil Chris.
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: I've been hollering for years seeing Trey back to Oklahoma
- 1:05:55Speaker 9: and letters get Shay. But I've watched three games and
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: I've just enjoyed just the pureness of basketball and the fans,
- 1:06:04Speaker 9: and in Indiana and Oklahoma City, the fans just like
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: one of these franchises are gonna get a ring here,
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: and it's just the excitement of just knowing that one
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: of them, even though a lot of people are well
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: SuperSonics Oklahoma came from Seattle, but this is Okay Sees
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: and then apparently their owner ball into another team, but
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: this is there, that city's actual championship. So it would
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: be something big for either city once they do win. Yeah,
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: it must have been a slow media day. When they
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: keep going, I realized that with the twenty four hour
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: news cycle, especially in sports, we can't seem to stay
- 1:06:42Speaker 9: in the now. If the now is boring, we go
- 1:06:44Speaker 9: to digging up facts that oh it's the SuperSonics or.
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm I'm Scotty thunder right. Yeah, and that's we're
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: a generation into that already.
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: Yeah, And that's why I hate that for that fan
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: base because they love their team out there.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: So yeah, it's just two small market teams that have
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: quality players and the name brand people were able to
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: get knocked out in that first round for a lot
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: of on both sides. Uh. And it introduces someone like
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Shay and his teammates and how great they were. They
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: had the best record, correct, and also just that they played.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: And it's not the style, because she still has that
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: marketable game. It's just that he doesn't. He has He's
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: he's not in your face. Well, he's cousins to Tim Duncan.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: He doesn't really have much well and now is that
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: his fault or is that something that Okay, you know
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: some stars, he just he's Joe Dumars. Everybody just don't
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: have this kind of let's go baby and tattoo his
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: face you know when he hit a Yeah, he nickname. Yeah.
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: And that's what I'm saying, even when it comes to
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: you know, we had Jordans, we had Kobe we had
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: the King, we got kill Chris Alexander what and they
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: keep trying.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: To make something about Tyler Holan Burton and his daddy. Well,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I'm as far as is a superstar or not the
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: guy is a good player. It starts becoming what is
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: a superstar? Who is a super superstar? Like we said
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: with Larissa Shields and Angel reached just something based on
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: popularity or is it effectiveness?
- 1:08:45Speaker 15: And I think people had those conversations because they that's
- 1:08:48Speaker 15: that's what they expecting when a championship series, we're seeing superstars, right,
- 1:08:53Speaker 15: like the best players get their teams to the championship.
- 1:08:55Speaker 15: It's not always like that, and that's not and you
- 1:08:59Speaker 15: got the Barry, it's not about the best players. Then
- 1:09:02Speaker 15: you got the two best teams and once again, but
- 1:09:05Speaker 15: even if it's the best team, they want there. I
- 1:09:08Speaker 15: think fans want to see and what media want to see.
- 1:09:11Speaker 15: But but i'm star players with our superstar players leading
- 1:09:16Speaker 15: their teams like they want to see a Lebron James
- 1:09:19Speaker 15: level type of player every year. But we're not going
- 1:09:22Speaker 15: to get that everything.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: But that's definitely, but that's what the league keeps selling
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: us because that they are right.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Series, right, here.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: You look on the menu and this is a big,
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: juicy quarter pounds burger spilling over the side of the bun.
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: And then you go in and you get it, and
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: that burger fit on the inside of this bun quite comfortably.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: And now you mad that this ain't what I paid
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: my money for.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: And that's the fault of not only the people marketing
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: the product, because you knew before you put that picture
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: on the board that that bun don't.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: And Katelyn Clark, I will say this about her. If
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Indiana pulls is off, she at least deserves like a watch.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: They don't need to give her a ring because she
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: doesn't play for the Pacers, but her presence in the necklace,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: My presence is Indiana. Trust me. It's spilled over to
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: one of those little wristbands, one of the wristbands. It's
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: spilled over into the Lakers, I mean the Pacers locker room.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Give her a ring. It's one of them things motivating.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I'm tired walking to my stadium and you got this
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: young lady hanging over the door. You'll be amazed. How
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Remember when you're dealing with athletes, you're trying to find
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: anything to give them get them to give you that
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: extra step. Yes, it's being and your sister is a
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: little faster than you, or you know your brother is
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: doing a little this and you. It's competition right there.
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: Yeah, because at the stadium they got a big picture.
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: They got a big picture of caitln hanging and Halliburton
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: in Atlanta. You ain't got You got just a picture
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: of trade. But you don't have a picture of what's
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: the young lady, Ryan Howard? No, but the other lady
- 1:11:14Speaker 9: w n b A for the for the dream and
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: dream what's her name?
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: No?
- 1:11:17Speaker 9: The with the Russia got busted. You don't have a picture, man,
- 1:11:21Speaker 9: You don't have a bit of the picture of Britney Grinder.
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: So I'm just saying you don't run is the dream
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: best player. I'm a notable face. I'm just see that.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Popularity again. And that's for your dream fans when y'all
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: check out a dream game and you wonder why, Ryan
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: how why she looked like she always mad, she can't
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: get her respect to her own time and turned on
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: a dream game. Watch Ryan Howard, Right, she always looks
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: mad ship on her shoulder like some ain't ruin. It's like, well,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: it's thirty eight points up there. She always look. It's

- 1:17:55Speaker 6: Where's a Mark now?

- 1:18:03Speaker 1: is thirty one. Manuel Quickly it's twenty sixties with the Sixers. No,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: he is on the Raptors. Raptors okay. And Mary Cooper

- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Hawks is thirty two. Tory Burch, Tory Birch, Your fashion

- 1:18:34Speaker 1: one of the all time greats on the tennis court.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Miss Venus Williams is forty five years of age. Venus Williams,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Big Kenny, the work week, Here, little short action right here,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: we got some vets. Yeah, I didn't know Venus was
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: on there. She came in later.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: My decision and then Venus came. But I'm gonna go
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: with Poppy Montgomery. Okay, little ginger action.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Bobby Montgomery is fifty three years yeah, right at that age.
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Cam Newton was at the BT Awards. The bad Producer
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: lets us know he watched it. He tried to play
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: it off as though he recorded it and watched it.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: But I would put my dollar that he watched it live. Yes,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: And he didn't want to admit that because he didn't
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: want you all to think that of him. He watched it.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: He knew it when it came on. He watched it live.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: It wasn't replayed that Cam Newton was on. I like
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: what Cam had on. He was killing it. He had
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: the muscle shirt, vests with an ascot kind of floral
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: looks silk, which I don't know what kind of pants
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: are called. Greg What are those pants? But they don't
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: really go down, They go right below your calf. They're
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: not capri. They can prepaying that capri was at the knees.
- 1:20:13Speaker 9: I thought, what are those capris? Are past the knees.
- 1:20:18Speaker 9: But I thought those ankle I mean.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: This floral print looked like it was silk high end,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: had the scarf working. It was a good Cam Newton
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: look for an award show big can you checking him out?
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: I'm about to see what this is, Jesus. The capri
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: pants are to the knees, like right before. That's when
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: you got capri shorts. Cap have you ever on the pair? No, sir, Okay,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: then listen to Greg and let Greg teach you.
- 1:20:50Speaker 12: This is.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: This is why Angel, This is why Angel. That's a
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: high water style.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: Yeah, they call the European cut. Now, this is why
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: Angel reche won. The females over there like.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: No, no, Harry, like nah.
- 1:21:11Speaker 9: One of our viewer, of one of our listeners just
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: said a female and I believe her. Uh this Deana
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: Clemen said they called ankle slags, ankle slags, So I
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: know she knows.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: That's what Harry Harry telling you now years ago about
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: twenty you're not feeling this cam looked never about gona
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: cut up thought arm when you got some arms and
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: shoulders and some silk floor print. It's still a little
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: you like the look it looks, it looks red carpet.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: It looks red carpet. It looks. It looks because compared
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to what he wears, here's the thing normally wears. Here's
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: the thing. The things he wears are actually meant more
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: for this right the events. See, that's why it's not
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: offensive to me, because that is how you go to.
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: If you were, if you were at Jersey Mics like that,
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: that would be that what's up with you? I'm saying,
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: but what's up with your boy.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: And his his arms out? And that's what you don't
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: wear the Jersey mike. Yeah, but this is he like
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: to wear. He liked to wear a lot of high
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: waters and like that. So that's kind of really what
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: it's wrong with. His fashion is kind of backwards. He's
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: wearing it to the wrong. This is Paris Milan. If
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: somebody invited you that, see, I don't have we don't
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: have the runway clothes. I would have to run out
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and get something right and said, runway, you're supposed to
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: wear a different cut and a different color scheme.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: Right on the run like that garish, garishing, out landish
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: something that because it just actually where it's like you said,
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: the Jersey Mics and everybody on some but the awards
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: are too Mom row and he some. Yeah, you want
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: to see my outfit for that, like wow.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Cam Newton giving it to you at least the one
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: thing about it though, comand you Big Kenny Babadoos. We
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: don't ever have to wear about it getting out of
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: shape because you have to be in shape to wear
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: would you would you wear that out for the Sports
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Job if I was at an award show, if I
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: was in that world, That's what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: gonna go get something like that in purple and gone.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I don't know that I would wear regardless of my style.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I don't know where I would wear my arms out. Yeah,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: that's what that shirt. The shirt might be that pattern,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the pattern I would wear in some kind of award
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: yeah show, rock and roll, Hall of Fame kind of look.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: So I can't wear at the East of Sunday. No,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: you can't wear that anyway. We'll be back for haters.
- 1:24:00Speaker 12: Damn.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: I should have known. That's a window.
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: Retton got my cobo blown well, I.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Got away without kidney yo. But it's the sabled.
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: Joan bow Away or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: Wayne Dandridius coming up next.
- 1:24:19Speaker 11: My mom has taken up going to the park to
- 1:24:22Speaker 11: practice yoga.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: My dad's going to a club, but not a book club.
- 1:24:26Speaker 11: A sofa club.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Finding new hobbies comes with age.
- 1:24:30Speaker 11: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where
- 1:24:32Speaker 11: she's going.
- 1:24:33Speaker 16: Becoming lost or disoriented doesn't Confusion with time or place
- 1:24:37Speaker 16: may be a sign of Alzheimer's. An early diagnosis can
- 1:24:40Speaker 16: help improve the quality of life for you loved one.

- 1:24:46Speaker 16: brought to you by the Alzheimer's Association and the AD Council.
- 1:24:49Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:24:52Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:25:00Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:25:00Speaker 29: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:25:02Speaker 29: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:25:05Speaker 29: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: What about you?
- 1:25:08Speaker 11: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:25:10Speaker 29: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:25:12Speaker 29: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:25:14Speaker 29: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:25:16Speaker 29: the insurance informants.
- 1:25:17Speaker 10: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:25:20Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:25:23Speaker 29: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:25:25Speaker 29: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:25:27Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:25:29Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:25:32Speaker 10: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:25:34Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:25:38Speaker 10: two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:25:40Speaker 11: Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits
- 1:25:44Speaker 11: or bills?
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Dot com?
- 1:25:46Speaker 11: That's benefits or bills dot com?
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Hurting the game.
- 1:25:54Speaker 22: We tough it out, feel exhausted, We push on, feeling down,
- 1:26:00Speaker 22: pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are times
- 1:26:03Speaker 22: when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us and
- 1:26:06Speaker 22: we need to talk to someone about what we're really
- 1:26:09Speaker 22: going through. So we're going to reach out because sometimes
- 1:26:13Speaker 22: mental health is not a one person job.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Is it Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: your Mind today dot org.
- 1:26:19Speaker 22: Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and
- 1:26:21Speaker 22: the Head Counsel.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:29Speaker 26: Player's Lounge We've been given full access to the player's lounge.
- 1:26:36Speaker 26: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: You know what, there's no stopping on a talk. I'm dropping.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: It's frighting not so everything is propping. I got stand
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: to spin.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: No, misser, don't let yet. Welcome back to the Sports
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock wing Gandy Bickny. Did
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: y'all crip walk in Chicago? Uh No, that's that's a
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: whole another. That's a whole nother. Y'all do development development?
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. We just we did perk
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: walks when the police came and pick us up.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: You know we wouldn't.
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: I mean because I'm from an era where gangsters don't dance. Bookie,
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: you see what I'm saying, gangster's boogie. We don't really
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: be out here dancing. So I want to say sports
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: jock Uncle Charlie wanted to know that Cam get the
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: bet Awards mixed up with the Deity party.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: Well, he think he might have been dressed for the
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: wrong event. And then what about the curtain?
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: Who was that?
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: Keith Ramsey said, Uh, we know what happened to my
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: dear good curtain, because they do kind of give that
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: dining room, not dining room, Kurt, not not the not
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: the play dining room.
- 1:28:05Speaker 9: With the kids, we talked about where you go for
- 1:28:07Speaker 9: thanks with the plastic go over the capsule.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: Well, and that's why I made the statement some of
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: the outlandist things that cam where typically is just more
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: of he's at the wrong event, in it wrong event,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: you're supposed to be kind of wild and what is
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: that you got on the awards or things like but
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: you got that outfit on it my grandmama funeral, you know,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: you got your arms out the funeral like that. That's
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: just disrespectful. And m l B has come under scrutiny
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: over the last couple of days. Had a couple of
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: incidents h with the Dodgers. Also up in New York
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: with the Mets at City Feel doing the national anthem
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: the Mets, and I'm quite sure tomorrow we'll read somebody
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: got suspended or it could have been intention but the
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Mets during the national anthem, instead of showing the American flag,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: they showed the Rainbow flag and a lot of fans
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: were upset about this. Guys. Now, now, now when you
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: say the camera went to the raw, it was on
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: the big screen on the Jumbo in the stadium that
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: they showed a lot of fans felt like that was
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: the last straw.
- 1:29:42Speaker 16: It was.
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: So so.
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: Wheah, who were gonna blame this on? Oh man, our
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: audio visual guy decided to have like a judgment call
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: because it would have been the whole department, right Otherwise
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: you're saying someone went broke.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: Someone would right, yeah, right now. It doesn't seem that
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: it was like some single individual making a protest. It
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: seems that they were trying to honor Pride Month. And
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: this is where and we've talked about here with our
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: sports teams, especially with the Hawks. The Hawks better than anyone,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: celebrate each and every and I guess any kind of occasion,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: the forty one home games, I know if I go
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: to thirty of them, it's going to be some theme
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: of that night. Some nights you didn't even know it
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: was a night. I didn't know that was the thing,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: But they can make a night of it. And teachers.
- 1:30:47Speaker 9: Also in New York, Aaron Judd boycotted the Pride night
- 1:30:51Speaker 9: and that's been a problem, which he's not the first
- 1:30:53Speaker 9: player to do this in Major League Baseball. Refused to
- 1:30:56Speaker 9: wear the uniform that they have designated or for that situation.
- 1:31:01Speaker 9: I mean, I'm just wondering how did a lot of
- 1:31:05Speaker 9: people feel about that, and how you guys feel. I mean,
- 1:31:08Speaker 9: I think it's his choice if they choose to. You know, hey,
- 1:31:12Speaker 9: I'm not gonna play that night. But there's a lot
- 1:31:14Speaker 9: of people that's really upset right now with Aaron Judge
- 1:31:16Speaker 9: in New York.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Well, I don't know that I would move myself to
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: let my team and my fans down by not playing
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: at all. I think that he definitely has the right
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: to speak. He also has the right to even go
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: to the organization and say something, you know, like I
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: would just rather wear my regular Yankees hat. I don't
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: want to wear the I think that's within the parameters
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: of me having to stand by him, like, Okay, you
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: do have that right in this situation. But I wouldn't
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: even if I had to play. I would just play
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: with the flag and then let my But I wouldn't
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: let my team down and my fans down and remove
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: my self. I would just feel like I have the
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: right to speak on it right right, and I don't
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: have to bash it. I just would appreciate you not
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: and I'm not you know, we're not even going as
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: far as telling you not to have your Pride Night celebration, right,
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: but you can limit how far we have to be infused.
- 1:32:21Speaker 6: In now, now and again, where does having your Pride
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: Night celebration infringe upon my patriotism? We've for generations before
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: pride ever became a thing. For generations, professional all sporting
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: events start with the national anthem. A lot of people stand,
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: remove their hats, they face the flags. Some people put
- 1:32:50Speaker 6: their hands over their hearts. They do all of that stuff,
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: and it's in reverence to the American flag or you
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: to insert a substitute symbol for that and not be
- 1:33:08Speaker 6: a tonight it's and not be an express thing. You've
- 1:33:12Speaker 6: hijacked us.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Into this moment.
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: You've kidnapped us to share in this moment with you.
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: So now when the camera's paying around the stadium and
- 1:33:23Speaker 6: she's singing the national anthem, and you catch me with
- 1:33:26Speaker 6: my hand over my heart, over my Marine Corps heart,
- 1:33:29Speaker 6: and then they flash up to the jumbo tron and
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: it's the rainbow flag. All the people from Platoon ten
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: fifty six got problems with me, like, what's wrong with
- 1:33:41Speaker 6: this dude? What's going on with you marine? When did
- 1:33:43Speaker 6: you start saluting that? But I was here on the regular.
- 1:33:47Speaker 6: When I turned around, I was looking for the old
- 1:33:50Speaker 6: stars and stripes.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: I've always felt like as an organization, we can facilitate both,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: whether I can I can allow Proud Pride Night to
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: be able to have someone announce it, vendors in the
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: breezeways and things like that, so that both people are
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: both not people, but both mindsets are adhered to. When
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: you start making the players half to wear, then you
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: start making me feel like you're trying to make money
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: because you want me to show my top player in
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: your colorway as supporting, and that's what you're really doing
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: in Thereick.
- 1:34:38Speaker 15: Well, let's say this has been going for a couple
- 1:34:40Speaker 15: of years. I think we've talked about this before. A
- 1:34:42Speaker 15: couple of years ago with the Tampa Bay Rays, they
- 1:34:45Speaker 15: had a similar thing with Theirs, and players were complained
- 1:34:51Speaker 15: or they were uncomfortable. So this is an issue that
- 1:34:54Speaker 15: I think, like baseball just we're just going forward with
- 1:34:57Speaker 15: this and not really trying to. I don't know if
- 1:35:03Speaker 15: that comes to some kind of compromise, but at least
- 1:35:08Speaker 15: there are people who are going to be uncomfortable and
- 1:35:11Speaker 15: it will feel a certain way just by seeing I've
- 1:35:14Speaker 15: seen an article where uh mlbs from their x account
- 1:35:19Speaker 15: just posted the MLB logo with you know, rainbow colors,
- 1:35:23Speaker 15: and a lot of people are responding, well, I'm turning
- 1:35:26Speaker 15: off this game or you're not getting another dying for me,
- 1:35:29Speaker 15: And that's what you're people who will have those extreme reactions.
- 1:35:35Speaker 9: Well, that's what happened with the NBA when we had
- 1:35:38Speaker 9: you know, they started putting that stuff on the end
- 1:35:39Speaker 9: of the courts on your jersey. Remember a lot of
- 1:35:43Speaker 9: people when they pull back, they finally, now you're getting
- 1:35:47Speaker 9: the fans back because you're not putting it in their faith.
- 1:35:50Speaker 9: We know they see it, they know, but you as
- 1:35:53Speaker 9: bad sports were coming not to for that to be
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: put in our face.
- 1:35:56Speaker 6: And and I think a lot of times with people
- 1:35:58Speaker 6: who have umbrants to this, it's not about the issue itself.
- 1:36:02Speaker 6: It's not about race, it's not about gender identity. It's
- 1:36:06Speaker 6: about the fact that you gonna.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Make us.
- 1:36:10Speaker 6: Like there are a lot of other causes cancer and
- 1:36:13Speaker 6: and uh saving the rainforest and and and getting the oceans.
- 1:36:18Speaker 9: I think, but it is also another month is the
- 1:36:23Speaker 9: kids month for some other whom it's a couple of
- 1:36:27Speaker 9: other things.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: It's probably a whole bunch of stuff and that on
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: the calendar. And that's what I'm saying. It seems the
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: easy solution is just to keep things as they are
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: stat is quo and then ad meaning that the vendors
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: or the people that might perform, and let it come
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: through that instead of you changing what your whole model is,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: how about you can still have a sense that it
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: is that night. I know, you know, like I was
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: saying with the Hawks, they will they have changed the
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: food to a particular demographic demographic for that night, or
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: they have a certain artist, or the you know, whatever
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: events they have in the game, commercials and stuff will
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: be that. And it's like, but you can keep the
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: core of it just Atlanta Hall and then and at
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: that point, I don't feel like anyone can be upset
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: because then I'm just celebrating. And you know, they rotated
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: to all kinds of groups. So out in Dodger Stadium,
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: the young lady Neessa, she decided to hijack the national anthem.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: The Dodgers asked her to sing it in English. She
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: decided she was going to try to sing in Spanish
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: and support the whole no Kings protests, and then she
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: got upset. I guess they cut her mic. But we've
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: talked about that before, man, Greg Big Kenny Babadus, Where
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: you and I made an agreement that you're going to
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: sing the national anthem, Yeah, we talked about then you
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: decided that you were just doing it under false pretense, yes, sir,
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: And then you going hijacket and make it what you want,
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: and then I'm wrong for escorting you out cutting.
- 1:38:23Speaker 15: We've seen that with with Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers.
- 1:38:27Speaker 15: He wrote Bible verse on his inside Genesis nine through twelve,
- 1:38:32Speaker 15: right nine twelve through sixteen, and basically God speaking about
- 1:38:37Speaker 15: the rainbow. So he's he's taken that and try to
- 1:38:42Speaker 15: make it into what he wanted.
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: Well, rainbow, the rainbow is if you know about even
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: putting a different message out there, Yeah it is. The
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: rainbow is very spiritual? Is it supposed to be? They've
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: we'll be back more the sports Huck sports chucks right
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: after this when in wants cast.
- 1:39:05Speaker 9: And things A five double low Evans from plastic banks,
- 1:39:09Speaker 9: the dreams that's been known to disappear before you out
- 1:39:12Speaker 9: the dope thing.
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: It seems we'll make things major.

- 1:41:26Speaker 4: Its wings.
- 1:41:37Speaker 24: Log on so you can see a sports jaint I'll
- 1:41:41Speaker 24: sing even Canny.
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: Welcome back to this War Shock show. I'm the sports
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: Shock wing Candy. Kevin Durant looks like he is going
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: to be on the move again. Comanch Greg McKenny, bad producer.
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: Do you want KD? At this point? KD is basically
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: as which I always knew about him after, especially after
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: he got his ring with Gold in the State. He's
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: just a gun for hire. Yeah he doesn't. He's not
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: coming here for any kind of The uniform is just
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: a uniform. Yeah, I'm not your mercenary. Yeah, I'm a mercenary.
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: Is that something you want? Or as a.
- 1:42:25Speaker 15: For a team, you would want a guy like Kevin Durant,
- 1:42:28Speaker 15: a guy who could fit in anywhere. You don't you
- 1:42:31Speaker 15: can run plays for him, but you can run any
- 1:42:33Speaker 15: play or run no plays for him. He can fit
- 1:42:36Speaker 15: in with any team. There's nothing that he's He's more
- 1:42:43Speaker 15: closer to a low maintenance type of player, so he
- 1:42:46Speaker 15: could fit in anywhere. But expecting him to be like
- 1:42:52Speaker 15: a leader captain, there are limits to that. If you're
- 1:42:55Speaker 15: looking for that kind of player, you might would have
- 1:42:58Speaker 15: looked somewhere else. But if you just want a guy
- 1:43:01Speaker 15: who can get you a bucket when you need one.
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: So basically you got to have it. And he has
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: three teams. The Houston Rockets, the San Antonio Spurs, the
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: Miami Heat are places that at least sources are saying
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: that Kevin Durant would like to go to. And I
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: echo what you just said, Greg. It has to be
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: how your team is built, because when you bring on
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: on a mercenary, you're bringing on a guy that he
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: is not going to throw himself on the grenade. The
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: mercenary is not he's gonna kill and move and do
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: everything he posed to extint but he is that it's
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: worth it that the paycheck adds up to the work. Yes,
- 1:43:48Speaker 1: So if you have a team that's set like that,
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: similar to and that's his personality, he's I think he's
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: always owned it. I think people wanted him to be
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: something more. That's the That is the difference of a
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: Lebron James type player. The Kobe's different, Tim Duncans, those
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: guys seem like they wanted to get the other guys going, KD, James, Harden, Dominique.
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: They seem like they just want to get clean and
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: come to the party. Y'all partying right right right party,
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: going already. Did you see me get my thirty? You
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: send me to thirty? Yeah? I hate ball up. I
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: hate you. Ain't gonna doubt that. We ain't gonna break
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: it down. No breakdown, they come on, man, No tap
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: the ball out. That's how they come like seriously, it's
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: like okay, and we don't even need have no after
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: team meeting, right right, y'all can do that? Call me
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: to your office when you didn't get the twenty eight thirty,
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: I promise you asked me for twenty eight. Well, I
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: don't know why I'm in this meeting or why are
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: we doing this early morning run? What would that be
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: doing for me? I gave you, we agreed on twenty eight,
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: So what's the problem. Yeah, while we're in this film session.
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: Remember that's what you're kind of bringing on, bad producer
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: when you bring it. That's the I didn't come here
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: for teams Christmas party all that. I don't even I
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: just live in the the bus outside. I'm always I'm
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: staying in the stadium.
- 1:45:29Speaker 6: And I'm saying, if you if you need a bucket
- 1:45:31Speaker 6: that bad thought? Do you do you want to bucket
- 1:45:33Speaker 6: that bad do you?
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: Well? If you got to.
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: You'd imagine there'd be there'd be somebody out there who
- 1:45:41Speaker 6: could hit a bucket and show up to the meeting.
- 1:45:43Speaker 15: Well, a lot of I think some teams need more
- 1:45:47Speaker 15: than one guy somethings to get away with. I think,
- 1:45:50Speaker 15: like Oklahoma City is out of the finals, they really
- 1:45:52Speaker 15: only have one guy who can get his own shot.
- 1:45:55Speaker 15: But if you have a second guy who can get
- 1:45:57Speaker 15: his own shot, that can that can take a team
- 1:46:01Speaker 15: two from you know, second round to the finals. Question,
- 1:46:06Speaker 15: he's that kind of player.
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: Why are Hawks? Now? I'll try to get this hid mercenary.
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: Do you have Kevin Durant money? Do the Hawks have
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: Kevin Durant money? I think I had this conversation with
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: a couple of my friends. I just wanted to I'm
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: just I'm seriously asking. I think too many times that
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: we don't accept here in Atlanta that the Hawks aren't
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: really and haven't been a destination, a beacon. They're rarely
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: on list. I don't know any big marketable free agent
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: that has ever had Atlanta as a destination. Now, if
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: you know one, please hit us online real quick and
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: let me know. But I don't remember any. And I've
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: been in the city this area for thirty years, We've
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: most likely get good players. Some of them teeter on
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: being Hall of famers, like a Joe Johnson. Paul Millsap
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: did work when he was here, so it's not like
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: the guys we get don't. But I don't remember a
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: superstar that had us on their short list of places.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: Do you remember in their Superstar nests? Because we'll get
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: a grand heel. Yeah, in a prime we'll get it.
- 1:47:27Speaker 6: Dwhight Howard once they shopping around, just trying to stay
- 1:47:31Speaker 6: in the league. But we won't get them. When I
- 1:47:34Speaker 6: tell you what we can.
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: Road, Okay, no, we got we got the White after
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: his back surgery. Yeah that's he. But Superman no more.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: And and I'm just saying, when you think about it,
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: you don't get that. And I was debating this with
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: a couple of guys from the Atlanta area and they
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: kept saying, Oh, it's the salary.
- 1:47:57Speaker 9: And I'm like, no, but that's the first thing we
- 1:48:00Speaker 9: always want to holler as a salary.
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: But I'm just where's the Also a lot of it
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: is that someone has the want to come play here
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: and there that is the team that's either the team
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: history or a particular player when you look at the
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: Rockets and the list that he has. You got women
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: yamb with the Spurs, Miami with the location. Because if
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: you're going to be a mercenary, you might as well
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: be on the beach, right Wake up to the in
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: the penthouse looking on the old ocean and the Rockets
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: who have a good enough team that my mercenary skills
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: might be what gets them? And what's the coach name?
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: What do you offering with the ramp? Play with trayo
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: oh yeah, and.
- 1:49:00Speaker 6: The mother world it's a cat only call them magazines,
- 1:49:03Speaker 6: pul clips and heavy metal, won assault settle.
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: I'm just saying, Paul Yello, it suxists to let them.
- 1:49:09Speaker 8: Start to play yellow, don't bowl away or of the

- 1:51:35Speaker 1: And I actually went to Auburn and drove through Alabama
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: in a lot of different places, but I can't tell
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: you where Fairfield, Alabama is. But eighteen year old just
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: graduate from high school, Brandon Moss running for mayor? You
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: ever heard of that? I've heard in Mardern life. I mean,
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: I know Abe Lincoln them.
- 1:51:56Speaker 6: Yeah, I've heard of some young people run running for
- 1:51:59Speaker 6: mayor or city council at a young age at eighteen
- 1:52:02Speaker 6: eighteen nineteen. I had that in recent Yeah, there's a
- 1:52:07Speaker 6: gentleman I believe in Louisiana who became the youngest.
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: That's the one that mayor in the world. They arrested
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: him for drug trafficking. I ain't judging, No, I think
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: that's the guy to the.
- 1:52:25Speaker 15: Fairfield is as part of the Birmingham metropolitan area. Okay,
- 1:52:30Speaker 15: and we didn't all been arrested for.
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: Am I right? Comanchi Greg says a two thousand and
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: three Lebron James traffic ticket just so for fifty times
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: as much as it cost. Slow media day. Wait, now,
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: when you see these kind of stories the media, sports media,
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: they use Lebron and Michael Jordans. Those are their fillers
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: when they don't have it and when nothing's really going on,
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: they pull up some story about how Michael Jordan's be
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: Greg Elo at Hopscotch in the eighty six Fine, he's
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: sitting there thinking what it was right before the game.
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: They just be digging up stuff on mj I know
- 1:53:20Speaker 1: he just get tired of his name. Well, they just
- 1:53:23Speaker 1: be using it if he could get some money. Every time.
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: They just what I'm saying, at least at least Marcus
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: ain't in the news. You know what I'm saying them
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: j On from anything, bring up.
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: The greg Elo story because as long as Marcus ain't
- 1:53:35Speaker 6: stuck on the tracks somewhere. So I don't know, le
- 1:53:38Speaker 6: bron Gott, how did how did? How did you get
- 1:53:41Speaker 6: access to another person's traffic? Dickens Babbo, this seems like
- 1:53:46Speaker 6: your wheelhouse.
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: That's criminal. That's Kinney's will. Wow did he just sniff
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: told you? I told you never.
- 1:53:55Speaker 6: Due just the dude call you from the police station, like, man,
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: they got us? Like what do you mean they got us?
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: Come on down, you need to come on turn yourself in.
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: And they got us. Kenny, what do you mean they
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: got u? You got you? That what he tells from
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: the stud that big Kenny, Dwight Howard and Lance Stephenson.
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: It's the big three just became like maybe like a
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: mental w w E. I mean you got Stephen Jackson
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: is now the head coach telling people you set all
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: of them on fire the other day, and there's times
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: then you got and then you got Beasley and Michael Stevenson,
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: R Howard fighting with Michael Beasley. These are the names
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: that we used to.
- 1:54:50Speaker 6: Shy away from in w n B, in the NBA,
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: in the NBA, and now and now you got come
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: out Charlotte, North Carolina for the Big Three. We've got
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: Michael the bashor Peasley against the White, the smasher Howard.
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, brother Stevens.
- 1:55:14Speaker 20: When we get down, when we get the White, when
- 1:55:18Speaker 20: we get down to the baby, the Big Three.
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: Yes, oh yeah yeah. And he hadn't look. Gotta be
- 1:55:29Speaker 6: more exciting. You gonna pretend like y'all got beef.
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: You're gonna be the hill dog. Come on in, stephen A. Smith.
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: We mentioned a fan called him playing solitaire. At first
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: he lied, and then he came out and say yes,
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: it was during a time out. He said, it was
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: the last time I played? Was the last time you
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: played solitaire?
- 1:55:52Speaker 6: Be a fun game back in the lake when he
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: was playing with him like real cards or on his phone,
- 1:55:56Speaker 6: on his phone, it's fun that NBA fine, he said,
- 1:56:01Speaker 6: He said it was during.
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: It was not doing the timeout. Yeah, that's an exciting life.
- 1:56:09Speaker 1: Mm hmm. I wonder why does he spend it on
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: to a time out? We get what what came out.
- 1:56:14Speaker 15: First was a still photograph, but then the video was
- 1:56:19Speaker 15: posted and you saw the game going on.
- 1:56:22Speaker 1: They paneled with Stephen A.
- 1:56:24Speaker 6: Smith and the reason he tried to spind it is
- 1:56:27Speaker 6: because ESPN done had them conversations.
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: Bad producer. Cut your electronics off. Look at the smitch.
- 1:56:37Speaker 6: I need you focused, Look forward, the cameras are rolling.
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: We're having a broadcast.
- 1:56:43Speaker 6: I need you to pay attention Stephen Night and now
- 1:56:47Speaker 6: here he he he back on his phone, and everybody
- 1:56:50Speaker 6: on some and now he on some man and people
- 1:56:52Speaker 6: that told me about that, and so you know, now
- 1:56:55Speaker 6: I need to see some ID.
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: Are you guys cool with that?
- 1:56:58Speaker 15: As a fan, he is, he is representing the the
- 1:57:05Speaker 15: fans who uh, it's hard for them to get interested.
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: And if he can't get interested at the game, at
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: the game.
- 1:57:15Speaker 9: Then nah, that's that's just as bad as the fans
- 1:57:19Speaker 9: calling in on a golfer that a rulers say, oh,
- 1:57:22Speaker 9: he didn't do this right, and you're calling in leave
- 1:57:25Speaker 9: that alone.
- 1:57:25Speaker 15: That he's saying that, it's representative of he's not watching.
- 1:57:31Speaker 9: So so y'all one minute, y'all are you gonna talk
- 1:57:33Speaker 9: about one minute of y'all hating Stephen a because of
- 1:57:36Speaker 9: what he's saying in the next minute.
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: You hating because he's playing for this is hold on, sir,
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: I know you you're in your defense mode, but we're
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: not hating on anything. A reporter of the sport he
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: called no, no, no, the job of reporting and doing
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: something other than watching what he was supposed to be watching.
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: And these aren't reporters that we then sought out on
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: the betting site. He is at the game line.
- 1:58:00Speaker 6: He is one of four or five people charged with
- 1:58:03Speaker 6: helping me keep up with the game and understand it.
- 1:58:07Speaker 6: So again, if you're not paying attention, why should I
- 1:58:10Speaker 6: be engaged? You say I should drink this brand of soda,
- 1:58:15Speaker 6: but you drinking iced tea? What makes me want to
- 1:58:18Speaker 6: drink the soda you trying to sell if you're drinking tea.
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: Rick Flair and Dusty Rose were good friends, Oh yeah,
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: but the gimmick was they were enemies. So they spent
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: most of their adulthood moving and traveling and interacting in
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: an enemy state of mind, because that's the only way
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: the gimmick works. If you're going to report on something
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: that you don't watch, how many times in the fifteen
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: years whatever we've been on here. I admit no need
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: of calling and asking me a question about X, Y
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: and Z because I watched it. I ain't watched it.
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: That's why I take that stance, because I want people
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: to know. Whatever I'm talking about, I at least spent
- 1:58:59Speaker 1: a minute engaging in it. I don't even get on here.
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: You asked me something about the Giants Reds game last night, man,
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: I didn't watch that game.
- 1:59:08Speaker 6: And then not only are you playing solitaire, you'll get
- 1:59:12Speaker 6: on camera and be like, lord Broad James needs more.
- 1:59:16Speaker 20: How do you know?
- 1:59:18Speaker 1: How do you know what he needs watching? And we
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
- 1:59:28Speaker 1: your in the ocean.
- 1:59:30Speaker 26: It's time to rap things up on the Sports Junk
- 1:59:33Speaker 26: Show with Wayne Candy.
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: M when you decided that she gives us worsh out.
- 2:00:05Speaker 1: Just a minute to Vin, we'd like to thank you
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: for tuning in to today's show. Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg
- 2:00:10Speaker 1: Bat producer, thank you for your contributions to the show today.
- 2:00:13Speaker 1: If you missed any other show, you're gonna go to Amazon, Podcast, Apple, Audible, Deserve, Spotify,
- 2:00:24Speaker 1: uh and check the replay of the show today. Going
- 2:00:29Speaker 1: in the Ocean and sadly, just because.
- 2:00:35Speaker 27: I know.
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: They meant well, but they were dead wrong. The BT
- 2:00:44Speaker 1: Awards gave the Gospel Song of the Year.
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: To Glow.
- 2:00:55Speaker 1: Really, Okay, go go. It's impossible for me to believe
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: that actually happened. Hey, but we have come to know
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: b T Awards, dude, some of the funniest stuff that
- 2:01:15Speaker 1: has ever, ever, ever, ever, ever happened on TV. Ever,
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: the blasphemy of this to even let Glow Realer come
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: up on stage and receive this award. You're talking about
- 2:01:35Speaker 1: an award that should have been given a pre show,
- 2:01:40Speaker 1: a post show, but never. I don't even know where
- 2:01:45Speaker 1: to go because all I know is glow. Most of
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: the music I ever heard her singing has something to
- 2:01:50Speaker 1: do is shooting for people, making some dude she just met,
- 2:01:55Speaker 1: licked places that shouldn't be touched, and then robbing her sister.
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: I'm feeling good today outside with your base all in
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: the sad with dress, got a black with Wade Sevin
- 2:02:14Speaker 1: p on Friday. I ain't got no he gonna drop
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: that MET Awards because it's your fault.
- 2:02:19Speaker 6: It ain't glow, it ain't glow, it ain't Clott Marvin
- 2:02:28Speaker 6: Sap sitting back like my coqu never mar locked the Door.
- 2:02:34Speaker 1: Whens DG Best Gospel Music Award, Crazy from the Sports
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: Shock Show Go listen to the song, then you will
- 2:02:45Speaker 1: realize exactly how crazy it is. We hope y'all have
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: a good afternoon feast.
