- Thomas: Let's let's ⁓ since we're talking about the of the Internet, dead Internet theory, let's talk about a dead American theory, right? Let's talk about this push. I see Gucci Mane situation that evolved push. I see his father, ⁓ Big 30 and a bunch of other people. Right. ⁓ This is a broader conversation. ⁓ The main thing here, like would just want to add, stay out the streets ⁓ if you don't have to or if you can. somehow avoid it, please do. ⁓ Clearly this like the man just got out what November, December timeframe, something towards the end of last year, ⁓ already back in custody. And apparently this happened in sometime in January, I believe. But before like even diving into that too much, I just want to say, like for all the people who have this confused and twisted, this situation between Pooch Iced Tea and Gucci Mane and All Involved. is literally the epitome of what ⁓ everyone in charge of slavery, putting crack in the black community, destroying the black community, putting guns in the black communities. That is the outcome. That is the product. That is what they want. Like, this is what they want it to. So people try to say he represents all black people. That's not the case. He unfortunately is just one of many people trapped in the cycle that was put on the path for our entire set of people in this country, unfortunately. Malcolm: Yeah man, this And for me, it's not even so much like that, because I mean, I know it's going to go viral. Like, he's a rapper. He's hot. I just really hate how... The type of headlines that our people get and that we get excited over and so invested in, I just think is why we get the prejudice that we do, why we get... I hate when stuff like this gets pushed to the forefront of the internet. This is the type of stuff that'll make news headlines. This is the type of stuff that'll go viral on the internet. This is the type of stuff that our own people will argue about. Thomas: Mm-hmm. Malcolm: Whether it's street code or not, it's cool or not, bro, this is what we pour our time into. And this is like... Not to sound like ⁓ somebody who has life all figured out or that you can't indulge in things like this, but there's ⁓ a very fine line between partaking in the occasional hip hop cultural current event type of situation. when this is the only type of stuff that floods your mind and you this invested, I see people have dropped actual thing pieces about rappers when they snitch whether it follows street culture. I'm like, You have work tomorrow at the Amazon warehouse at 6 a.m. And you're talking about Gucci man is not a gangster on your Twitter. Thomas: Yeah. What's the tax code? Like what is your tax code? Malcolm: Like, are we talking about? And it's just like, I get it. I mean, it's stupid. I it's stupid. Like I saw a clip of him riding around on a Twitch stream with Bended On, like riding around with ankle monitor on, knowing he's on like, I don't know if he's on house arrest, I don't know all the details of his probation, but you know you're on probation, you riding around. Yes, he was, I'm like, bro, this is who you go back to jail for? bro, come on, dog. It's just like... Thomas: Shicee was with Ben Dedon on the street. Malcolm: And I've seen a lot of like think-faces tell me, oh this is why black men need fathers in their life, this and that. would say his father co-signed him on this. His dad co-signed him. And this is like, I mean like I said, part of that is just being a product of your environment and then another piece of that is just like not having the right people around you to get out of where you can... That should always be your end goal unless you come up... I mean, I feel like people should... Thomas: He had his father. His father was involved. Malcolm: It's always good to show love to your home city bro, but at a certain point I feel like everyone has to grow out of where they come from bro. You have to look and reach for bigger things bro. And I know for him, obviously that situation is heavily dependent on his probation and stuff that's going on. But it's just like dog, of all the things you could have done after probation, you kidnap your boss. You rob your boss. You hold your boss at gunpoint contractually. You have Big 30 block the door like a football lineman and you just, and then you flaunt said jewelry that you stole on social media. Who made this plan? Was anybody using their brain on this plan, bro? Did you not think, did we not, first of all, did we just think Gucci was just going to keep it peeing and just be like, nah, bro, this is how the street go. Bro, Gucci, how old is Gucci? He has to be ... Thomas: All camera. Gucci 46 I believe. I just checked. Malcolm: Bro, that man is 46 years old and you think he was just about to keep his mouth shut? And be like, A.M. or S.I. go. Thomas: Yeah. Malcolm: Bro if I'm Gucci, and I hate to have these type of conversations, this is like pop the balloon type conversations, but it's just like, if I'm Gucci bro, I'm pushing 50, you think you're about to rob me at gunpoint, take all my chains, take all my jewelry, and I'm about to just be like nah bro, that's just how the street stuff go. That's the code. No. I will have a written report to Cash Patel, to the FBI the next business day bro. Are you kidding me? Thomas: You Malcolm: At this age in my life?
