- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Uh there was so much jazz, like jazz, brass, everything.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, you hear it everywhere.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: And the amount of times that I heard when the Saints go marching in, yes, it is exorbitant, but I loved it at the same time.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Every single time.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: At one point we went to this park.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: It's called Armstrong Park, and this random guy was just playing it in the park.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: But so you could tell that this is how he makes his money.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: He is this guy that just sits there with a little drum, and people come up and he tells a little story.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And I heard When the Saints go marching in probably five times because he's talked to five different groups.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, every single time, oh, When the Saints.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: So much fun.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you what.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: What?
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: I laid by the pool.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, did you really?
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: That's a rarity.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: It was so I know, but it was so nice down there.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: There was no humidity.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: It was perfect.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: None.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: None.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Just warm.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Locals said that it is not a place you want to be in the summer.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, I bet.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Anybody who doesn't know, I was in New Orleans.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, I made sure everybody knew very clearly that you were, you know, you were down there doing that.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: In fact, yesterday, Jordan had a funny joke.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: He goes, uh, Allie Payne's gonna come back with uh, let's see, um uh yeah, right.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: A lot of zyda go music, uh probably jambalaya and two voodoo dolls uh representing the two of us.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So the funny thing is, I almost got a tattoo of a voodoo doll.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't know if that's a good idea.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Well, we wanted to get a tattoo on vacation of something that represented where we were.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: And they there was this like flash deal at this tattoo shop close to our hotel, and it was either a- That doesn't sound janky at all.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, why?
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: I don't know why a flash sale at a tattoo place sounds weird.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, no, no.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's pretty common.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Is it really?
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, in the month of October, it's very common.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: They'll they'll do like what it uh, so what this is is since Scott has no tattoos.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Have you ever been into a tattoo shop before?
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Well yeah, I've been into uh uh Chad's place actually years ago.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: I had I mean the only reason I went in, I think you were there.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Probably I don't know, you were because you did briefly for a while, like you did phones or something for him.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: I worked, I guess, I worked at tattoo roll a while back.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: It's like 18 years ago.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Uh he since has moved locations.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Oh, then I wouldn't know where he is.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: So so so when in the month of October, there is like it's like a little sheet of silly little, like tiny little tattoos that you can get.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: It could be like You're not gonna get a giant shrimp in representation of shrimp jambalaya on your back.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: But we did talk about that too.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: We here were our choices.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: And tell me what you think.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, sure.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So it was voodoo doll.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Oh I also liked the tomb, and here's why.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Because all of the cemeteries there are above ground.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Because they're below way below sea level in New Orleans.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Right, and we went on a cemetery tour.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: And I Oh my god, I said that the other day.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: I said, I really hope she does this.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Yes, oh yeah, we planned that, we booked that way before we went.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: And then so I uh okay, voodoo doll tomb.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Then, and it would just be like a silly little one, nothing like crazy.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Set of boobs in here anywhere because it's you know hard.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: That makes sense, but no.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: No.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Um oh, a bloody Mary with like a little crawfish on it.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, yeah.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: What else did we say?
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, a trumpet.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, that makes sense too.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: I'm still voting for the giant shrimp all on your back.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Just a huge curled shrimp.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: They have tons of those tattoos there.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Two feet big.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: It's so funny because we ran into a guy who was going to the same Halloween parade festival thing that we were, and he had just gotten, ironically, a voodoo doll tattooed on him in New Orleans.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Oh, and why does that make me feel so weird?
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: His wife that's just not a good idea.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: His wife has uh she had like a crawfish.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Crawfish is more the the the seafood of the the area.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: But although there's a dirty shrimp.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: It's yeah.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And is it crawfish or crayfish?
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: We were we were wondering.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Well, up here I think a lot of people call it a crayfish, but I think it's a craw.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Is there a dirty?
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: It's just like people that call New Orleans New Orleans.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: It's actually New Orleans.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: New Orleans.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Down there, uh so it was really cool.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: We ran into a lot of locals, and that was I would think corrected.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Well, it depends.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: It depends what area you go to.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: But we weren't staying right on Bourbon Street, and it's New Orleans.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: New Oh, it's New Orleans.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: New Orleans.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you get those people with the accent that are like, you know, oh yeah, welcome to New Orleans.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: You're like, what?
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: My favorite thing.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Avocado.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: My favorite thing is everyone is so nice there, but everyone calls everyone baby.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: So that can get well, get a voodoo doll and uh tattoo and get called baby all day.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: It was great.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: So at one point, at one point I went to get coffee and they ran out of the coffee I was looking for.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Well, baby, I'm I'm gonna have to make some more.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Are you okay with that, baby?
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, baby, I'm sure okay with that baby.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: Everybody's baby.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Everyone is baby.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: They set food down.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Oh, hey, baby, how's your food?
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: How are you doing?
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm great, baby doll, honey child.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Everybody's baby.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Everyone is baby.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: I got called baby so much.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: You're welcome, baby.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Get on that train over there, baby.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: This is this is great.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Isn't it?
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: She better be calling me baby.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: I'm one of the baby.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Okay, baby.
