- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. I wanted to have the exercise
- 0:04Speaker 1: of writing a letter to your older self, so future yourself. Yeah, no,
- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm writing a letter to OUDI two three years ago.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Also your younger self. Yeah, yeah, my younger self, my
- 0:14Speaker 1: past uf.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You said your older self. I didn't do I'm pretty
- 0:18Speaker 2: sure I said my past up.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I thought my older self.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I feel like the first time you said you said,
- 0:22Speaker 2: like writing a letter to my older self, I feel
- 0:25Speaker 2: like I said past.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I'm pretty keen for the edit.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Lucky I edited Relatable.
- 0:43Speaker 2: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka Daddy,
- 0:47Speaker 2: and my partner in crime, Oddie Clark aka Mummy. And
- 0:52Speaker 2: Audi is Mummy because he's the one you go to
- 0:55Speaker 2: when you want to talk about feelings.
- 0:57Speaker 1: And Jake is Daddy because he always drives and he's
- 1:00Speaker 1: driver a good driver compliment. I feel like all dad's
- 1:03Speaker 1: are good drivers. Valid can reverse a trailer. I can
- 1:08Speaker 1: can do anything. Yeah, my dad taught me how to reverse.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Same. And you guys are the baddies because it's just
- 1:15Speaker 2: who you are. Yeah, because you're bad, A couple of
- 1:18Speaker 2: bad bitches. Bad to the boom, big announcement. Big, Yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 2: huge announcement. We're back in our own studio. Huge. It
- 1:31Speaker 2: feels good to be back. I got to say it
- 1:32Speaker 2: feels great. Bali was great. But enough about Bali. We
- 1:37Speaker 2: haven't seen each other for a while because you were
- 1:39Speaker 2: in Bali. Sorry to mention it again. You were. You
- 1:43Speaker 2: were there for about a week longer than me.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't hang out together yesterday, did we know?
- 1:49Speaker 2: We went together all day yesterday.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We refuse to talk to each other and save it
- 1:52Speaker 1: for the podcast. Yeah, that's what we do. That's how
- 1:54Speaker 1: much we love you guys.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. But how was your last week? How was
- 1:59Speaker 2: your last week? Was good?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I was over it by the end. Yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I'm keen to be back. There's something about being
- 2:06Speaker 1: you know, when you walk in your house and you've
- 2:08Speaker 1: been away for a while and you're like, this is
- 2:10Speaker 1: home and it feels good. Yeah, the same sensation in
- 2:12Speaker 1: this studio.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah. It really is being in control of everything, all
- 2:18Speaker 2: the tech, all the gears, ours we know. Yeah, I'm
- 2:20Speaker 2: in the boot. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean
- 2:22Speaker 2: good mood. I slept so fucking well last night. You
- 2:25Speaker 2: always sleep good at my house because I'm not sleeping
- 2:28Speaker 2: with Beth. I'm telling you guys, it's sleeping with me. No.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I was sleeping on my own in your spare room.
- 2:38Speaker 2: When I didn't piss and I woke up, I fall asleep.
- 2:42Speaker 2: First time I woke up from my alarm. I set
- 2:44Speaker 2: an alarm just in case I slept through, and I
- 2:46Speaker 2: was like, I don't want to be sleeping through and shit,
- 2:48Speaker 2: so set an alarm seven am. It went off and
- 2:51Speaker 2: I was like, and I didn't even clock to me
- 2:53Speaker 2: Originally that I was like, oh, I went the whole
- 2:55Speaker 2: night without pissing. I snoozed that motherfucker goes off again,
- 2:58Speaker 2: snooze it again, and then before it goes off the
- 3:01Speaker 2: third time, I kind of actually, I'm coming to and
- 3:03Speaker 2: then I'm like, I need to piss. And then I
- 3:05Speaker 2: was thinking I didn't get up once last night to piss.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I have a great scientific experiment we can do. Okay,
- 3:11Speaker 1: how can you test your cortisol? Can you do it
- 3:14Speaker 1: by yourself?
- 3:17Speaker 2: Let's look at you. It stresses me out, That's what
- 3:19Speaker 2: I'm going to say.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I was gonna say, So what we should do is
- 3:22Speaker 1: when you sleep like with Beth that morning, test your
- 3:26Speaker 1: corterzole levels and then see what it's at. I don't
- 3:28Speaker 1: know how to test it. Say it's twenty over, yeah, fifty,
- 3:32Speaker 1: And then when you.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Sleep it a random measurement you pulled out of your.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Arse, and then when you sleep at mine, we'll test
- 3:37Speaker 1: it again and it'll be like zero.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Right, I'd say that would be I was tired. Actually
- 3:44Speaker 2: we had a big afternoon, so it was tired. I
- 3:46Speaker 2: was tired. Yeah. Oh well, but I'm.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Not gonna waste any time today, are we, Jake?
- 3:51Speaker 2: No, We're going to start.
- 3:52Speaker 1: With what is your favorite segment?
- 3:55Speaker 2: My favorite segment that we do. I think it is
- 3:59Speaker 2: dilema Okay, yeah, dilemmas. I question kind of just the
- 4:04Speaker 2: whole thing. It's all quite fun. It's all fun to
- 4:06Speaker 2: be a part of. You know, it is sick.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So let's start with the IG question of the week.
- 4:13Speaker 2: What do an IG question?
- 4:14Speaker 1: First?
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah? Or you doing that second? Shit? I thought I
- 4:17Speaker 2: thought you meant like do that first? No?
- 4:19Speaker 1: No, no no. So the IG question of the week
- 4:24Speaker 1: is what are your non negotiables when dating?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:28Speaker 1: These are good and I kind of picked some which
- 4:31Speaker 1: would be on my non negotiables list.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Oh fair, you didn't. If I'm being to be completely
- 4:38Speaker 2: honest with you, there is definitely a few that I
- 4:42Speaker 2: would be on my non negotiables list. But there's some
- 4:45Speaker 2: that you can see when I say them that you
- 4:47Speaker 2: would be like, oh no, I can see why that would.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, true, and I reckon. Also, this is like one
- 4:52Speaker 1: of the best tips when dating is have a list
- 4:55Speaker 1: of non negotiables prior to going on a date and
- 4:57Speaker 1: always check back to it to see if they're ticking.
- 5:00Speaker 2: All the boxes. I've never had one.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I kind of have a mental one, yeah, but I
- 5:03Speaker 1: feel like a physical one just even on your notesap
- 5:05Speaker 1: on your iPhone. It would be such a good thing
- 5:08Speaker 1: to do.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I I've got to say, I agree, But for some reason,
- 5:11Speaker 2: I've never had one. Yeah. So that because the thing
- 5:13Speaker 2: with me is like, how strict to the list do
- 5:17Speaker 2: you need to be? Like, let's say you have think
- 5:20Speaker 2: let's say you have ten things on the list. Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 2: if they hit five out of ten, that's fifty percent.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Is I considered a pass?
- 5:28Speaker 1: I don't think, because non negotiables is like non negotiable
- 5:32Speaker 1: and to have ten on there, what if you have
- 5:34Speaker 1: more than ten? They're getting techy on that.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, no, saying it's like, how strict are you
- 5:38Speaker 2: on the non negotiables because non negotiables is a strong word.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I agree, non negotiable.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but it also whears your line of non negotiable,
- 5:46Speaker 1: like maybe you could have a little inasterisk next to
- 5:49Speaker 1: some of them, like this one's negotible. Yeah. Yeah, like
- 5:51Speaker 1: someone like buys me ice cream or some shit. Okay, fair,
- 5:54Speaker 1: like that's pretty crazy like that one's But then others
- 5:57Speaker 1: were like my political views. I was like, okay, I'm
- 5:59Speaker 1: not that from that one.
- 6:00Speaker 2: That's political views is valid. Yeah, you're pretty different people
- 6:03Speaker 2: if you don't do the same political views exactly. But yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I was just thinking, how strict does it have to be?
- 6:10Speaker 1: Should we say, actually, how many we get out of
- 6:12Speaker 1: each other's lists? Okay, like say if we tick the boxes,
- 6:15Speaker 1: so I just have the ones because this is like
- 6:17Speaker 1: the majority of women's negotiables. As you're about the ones
- 6:20Speaker 1: we've chosen today, yeah, it was like, yeah, we get that.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So like if I say one and you fall under that,
- 6:28Speaker 2: as in, if you would work for this one, you
- 6:31Speaker 2: would say, yeah, I work for that. Yeah. Okaywait, okay,
- 6:36Speaker 2: because I know some of these you do not fucking work.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm a stubborn motherfucker. I see one, and you tick
- 6:42Speaker 1: that box majorly. A wait, do we get to Okay,
- 6:48Speaker 1: let me kick things off. What are your non negotiables
- 6:53Speaker 1: when dating? If I've asked three questions and they haven't
- 6:56Speaker 1: asked anything, I'm done. Oh if I've asked three questions
- 7:01Speaker 1: and they haven't asked oh, so you're on a date. Yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 1: and so you just conversations one sided? Yeah?
- 7:08Speaker 2: I hate that. I genuinely can't go through a conversation
- 7:11Speaker 2: without asking questions.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yeah, but I feel like it's gotta be reciprocated.
- 7:15Speaker 2: No. Yeah, That's what I'm saying is like, if I
- 7:17Speaker 2: was asking questions and this person's just answering and they're
- 7:20Speaker 2: not asking another one, I would be like, well let's
- 7:22Speaker 2: try it, fumbling.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Bro, let me ask the questions and you just talk
- 7:25Speaker 1: about yourself the whole time, and don't okay, be like
- 7:27Speaker 1: really selfish?
- 7:28Speaker 2: Okay, what questions? Like some classic questions? Yeah, I'll be like, oh,
- 7:31Speaker 2: so what do you do for work? I actually have
- 7:34Speaker 2: a podcast? A podcast?
- 7:35Speaker 1: What's it about?
- 7:36Speaker 2: It's about me and my friend? We kind of go on.
- 7:39Speaker 2: We tried like to give the men's perspective on things
- 7:41Speaker 2: and stuff. Yeah, it's pretty fun.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Where can I find it?
- 7:44Speaker 2: Spotify, YouTube, a, podcasts, just wherever you get your podcasts.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Do you have any extra episodes Anywhay?
- 7:49Speaker 2: We do?
- 7:49Speaker 1: Actually, yeah, we have.
- 7:51Speaker 2: There's a single Patreon where we have an extra episode
- 7:55Speaker 2: every week and then one of our episodes they get
- 7:57Speaker 2: five days early. Really and it's only five dollars a month. Really,
- 8:01Speaker 2: that's heapes could community.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and you rate it?
- 8:03Speaker 2: I do? Yeah? Okay, five stars? How good?
- 8:07Speaker 1: And what else do you do outside the podcast world?
- 8:10Speaker 2: I like to read read what do you read? Uh? Stuff?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah? Stuff? What kind of stuff? I like to read
- 8:17Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I dabble. I have wings? You have wings? Not me?
- 8:20Speaker 1: They oh they have wings? Damn that's muddy ship maybe
- 8:26Speaker 1: fairies some It's harder for me to keep asking questions.
- 8:32Speaker 2: It's actually, what's I'm saying is if I've asked three questions,
- 8:36Speaker 2: then I was like, what do I? Yes?
- 8:39Speaker 1: It is in an ad for the podcast, I saw
- 8:43Speaker 1: an opportunity.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Fucking know, all right, girls, what are your non negotiables
- 8:49Speaker 2: when dating? He washes his hands after he goes to
- 8:53Speaker 2: the bathroom.
- 8:53Speaker 1: No matter what you welcome. Yeah, you're welcome. Yeah, that
- 8:58Speaker 1: is not happening, Yes it is. Come on, not for
- 9:02Speaker 1: eever of us.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I think every single bathroom should have hand sanitizer in it.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I agree. I know.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I was gonna say, like, you know how male bathrooms
- 9:11Speaker 1: have the toilet and the new urinal there should be
- 9:13Speaker 1: like a sink and then like a I don't know,
- 9:16Speaker 1: like a yeah it's some kind of dispenser. We don't
- 9:18Speaker 1: get your hands were Here's.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Like, I'm sorry, but I'm not going into a public
- 9:24Speaker 4: bathroom going in, like I will I elbow everything, or
- 9:29Speaker 4: I'll like I genuinely so like I'll push the if
- 9:32Speaker 4: I'm going into a store, I'll push the stall overrom
- 9:34Speaker 4: my elbow, push it clothes with my elbow, and then
- 9:36Speaker 4: I'll lock it with my shirt like this so I
- 9:38Speaker 4: don't have to touch it. I don't touch anything in
- 9:40Speaker 4: a public bathroom. And then I'm touching is my own wan?
- 9:43Speaker 4: All right, that's clean, by the way, because I've showered.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And then when I leave, same thing, use my shirt,
- 9:49Speaker 2: undo the thing, get out of there, and I don't
- 9:51Speaker 2: wash my hands because I'm not touching something in a
- 9:53Speaker 2: public toilet.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That's funny. I always try to touch a place that
- 9:55Speaker 1: no one's ever touched before, so like really hard.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but also you're not all that individual because I
- 9:59Speaker 2: get to you. Everyone does that like this, everyone's doing
- 10:01Speaker 2: this and shit.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but the little short things like you can't read
- 10:04Speaker 1: just hires me, got you there, didn't know what.
- 10:08Speaker 2: If it's a pull, we've got to pull the door
- 10:10Speaker 2: open the force.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Okay, so maybe we don't do that, but the first
- 10:16Speaker 1: one three questions, I think we're both good at asking
- 10:19Speaker 1: questions to be fair.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, I feel like I'm a normal conversationist.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Okay, girls, what's your non negotiables? When dating? Must be
- 10:25Speaker 1: a dog person?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Valad pick va lid. Yeah, I have to have a
- 10:31Speaker 2: dog in my life. Yeah right, I mean right now
- 10:34Speaker 2: you don't even have one, like I mean like still grieving,
- 10:36Speaker 2: not twenty four seven, but like eventually yeah, like reoccurrence.
- 10:40Speaker 2: There's a dog in your future?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, my near future.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I see you. I see a dog in your future. Yes,
- 10:45Speaker 2: what op of a dog?
- 10:46Speaker 1: I want a sausage?
- 10:48Speaker 2: I really do, but like typically genuinely ethically it's actually bad.
- 10:52Speaker 1: No no, no, So here was my mental debate. Right, So
- 10:55Speaker 1: everyone says sausage dogs have bad spines. Yeah, and they're
- 10:58Speaker 1: going to need that spinal surgery or whatever. I think
- 11:00Speaker 1: it's like one in four. Yeah, but where's the line between.
- 11:04Speaker 1: So I would offer this dog a really good life
- 11:06Speaker 1: and he's already alive when I buy him. Just see
- 11:09Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but what you're doing is you're supporting a breeder
- 11:13Speaker 2: that breeds them, so then they have a reason to
- 11:16Speaker 2: breed more. Then So if you don't support that breeder
- 11:20Speaker 2: that's breeding a sausage dog that look they are I'm
- 11:23Speaker 2: pretty sure they're a pure bred dog and stuff, but
- 11:25Speaker 2: they like genuinely quite often live a bad life because
- 11:28Speaker 2: once this motherfucker gets the whatever it gets, I don't
- 11:31Speaker 2: think it's hip displeasure, they get something, right, they're living
- 11:34Speaker 2: a crate, yeah, and they're in pain and then they
- 11:37Speaker 2: die and it's devastating. Yeah, exactly. You you have to Yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 2: you can't support the industry in that sense. You have
- 11:45Speaker 2: to get a dog.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Because I agree with your mindset with like recycling, like
- 11:48Speaker 1: one person makes a difference and it's like a spillover effect.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Then with a dog, I feel like being a little
- 11:54Speaker 1: bit toxic, Like I'm not going.
- 11:56Speaker 2: To make a difference, but you really one person will
- 12:00Speaker 2: because then when someone talks to you and you could say, well,
- 12:02Speaker 2: I was gonna get one, and then I decided not
- 12:05Speaker 2: to because I don't think that it's actually the right
- 12:08Speaker 2: thing to do.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah, And where I was going was, I think I'll
- 12:10Speaker 1: do my research, like off pure looks. I want one,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and I haven't done any research because I don't want
- 12:15Speaker 1: one on right now. But when I do want one,
- 12:16Speaker 1: I'll do.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Research of like what's the actual best breed for me?
- 12:19Speaker 2: You know what? Fair? That's probably ethical? A bit off looks,
- 12:23Speaker 2: off looks. Fact. Sausage dogs are cute. Yeah, they are
- 12:26Speaker 2: so cute. Did you know that sausage dogs are actually
- 12:30Speaker 2: very often just dicks?
- 12:33Speaker 1: You know that they got the personality got like crazy
- 12:36Speaker 1: cattle dogs too, Cata doogs. Yeah, they're better than some
- 12:39Speaker 1: kelpies because they used to be hunting dogs and go
- 12:42Speaker 1: down rabbit holes. That's why they said long as guinea
- 12:45Speaker 1: and they got some gtitude.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I've heard that one.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, when you take your shirt off, all right.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Girls, what are your non negotiables when dating? He must
- 13:05Speaker 2: believe in washing his legs in the shower. Get fucked.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Like twice a year.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Never.
- 13:12Speaker 1: When I was a gardener, I used to do it
- 13:14Speaker 1: a lot. We got those dirty knees.
- 13:16Speaker 2: You're lucky if I if I washed my thights, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 2: larky if you if I wash my thighs, There's no
- 13:22Speaker 2: way I'm bending down in the shower, face down, us
- 13:25Speaker 2: up washing my legs.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You're a credit card slot asshole guy.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got a clean crack. Yeah, very.
- 13:35Speaker 1: It's like a fountain.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I got a clean crack. But I don't understand what
- 13:39Speaker 2: people are washing your legs business? They know. I I
- 13:44Speaker 2: have never looked at someone wearing shorts and thought they
- 13:47Speaker 2: washed their legs or and also vicetress, I've never looked
- 13:50Speaker 2: at someone wearing shorts and thought they don't wash their legs.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. I go swimming.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I got dirt down there. Obviously I'm going to
- 13:57Speaker 2: wash it.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 13:58Speaker 2: But what's the point.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Another one, they're not valid.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I don't think that's valid at all.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Girls. What are your non negotiables when dating transparency regarding
- 14:08Speaker 1: sexual health? Oh?
- 14:11Speaker 2: Good one, that's a great one. That's a great one.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think I've said this before. Before death, I had
- 14:17Speaker 2: never had a checkup, never had any sort of tests
- 14:20Speaker 2: to see if I have anything. To be fair, I've
- 14:22Speaker 2: never had any symptoms. Yeah, I didn't think it, but
- 14:24Speaker 2: it's also supposed to Like I don't remember actually even
- 14:28Speaker 2: being taught this. But the right thing to do is
- 14:30Speaker 2: after every new sexual partner, you get tested. Yeah, you
- 14:34Speaker 2: get tested, so then you know, because you don't want
- 14:36Speaker 2: to go have sex with one person, have caught something
- 14:39Speaker 2: from them, have sex with another person, and then get
- 14:42Speaker 2: tested and then be like, okay, well which one.
- 14:44Speaker 1: To be fair to tell both, it's a good non negotiable,
- 14:47Speaker 1: but also it's kind of like should be granted, like
- 14:50Speaker 1: you should.
- 14:51Speaker 2: This should be a it should be a default. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 2: I guess that's why it's non negotiable. True, somebody, it
- 14:56Speaker 2: should be a default, bare minimum type. Shit, girls, what
- 14:58Speaker 2: are your non negotiables when dating? I can't be friends
- 15:01Speaker 2: with his ex?
- 15:02Speaker 1: Oh I had one like that doesn't talk to the
- 15:04Speaker 1: x vallida valid ballid red flag.
- 15:08Speaker 2: If they do, we're still friends? No? Why are you friends? Yeah?
- 15:12Speaker 2: That's all I want to know is why? Reason? Tell me,
- 15:15Speaker 2: good reason, that's why?
- 15:15Speaker 1: Because they want to fuck.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the only reason I can think of Yeah,
- 15:19Speaker 2: that's the only reason I can think of.
- 15:21Speaker 1: All right, if you've seen him naked, it's not fair
- 15:23Speaker 1: call me, call me jealous.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I don't give a fuck, all right, call me in secure,
- 15:28Speaker 4: I and give a fuck.
- 15:29Speaker 2: You don't need to be friends of yourn.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I don't think it's jealous jealousy.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I would only I think we've said this before too,
- 15:35Speaker 2: if it was like, let's just say, in the future,
- 15:37Speaker 2: for some reason. Unfortunately you guys were both single. You
- 15:40Speaker 2: don't have to be bash. You don't have to be
- 15:43Speaker 2: I'll just bring you along with me, bring you down.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Let's just say for some reason, I'm singing, Yeah, maybe
- 15:48Speaker 2: in my mid thirty Fuck, I've had a transplant. By
- 15:54Speaker 2: the way, hair transplants.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Okay, you're back off. I was picturing like belly people.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Belly. Yeah. We talked about if anything, we would have
- 16:03Speaker 2: like some sort of Pepsi max belly or starts full
- 16:06Speaker 2: of carbonated.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Drinks non gluten belly.
- 16:11Speaker 2: And I'm single. Unfortunately Bets left me. She's taking Henry
- 16:14Speaker 2: and ship. But I'm dating.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Henry's Jake's dog, not his kids.
- 16:21Speaker 2: And I'm dating. I'm in the dating pool and I
- 16:23Speaker 2: meet someone and she is a divorced mom with kids,
- 16:30Speaker 2: single mom. I would then be like, if she says
- 16:33Speaker 2: I'm quite friendly, like I'm very I'm good friends with
- 16:35Speaker 2: my ex you know kids, I'd be like, okay, valid,
- 16:39Speaker 2: Look I'll tuck away someone.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You took the longest way to get there to say that,
- 16:45Speaker 1: all sausage, no sizzle.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I mean sorry, all sizzle, no Sausagejohnny, learn from the best.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Whatever, Okay?
- 16:57Speaker 2: Is it me? Yep?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Girls? What are your non negotiables and dating? A guy
- 17:01Speaker 1: enjoys going down on me? Yeah?
- 17:04Speaker 2: I like that? Yeah, yeah, I tick that box.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Turns me on?
- 17:09Speaker 2: Oh, turns you on? I gotta compliment the other day,
- 17:13Speaker 2: I make that sound like I got it from someone.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Round I was processing how I then.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I don't actually know why. I feel like I probably
- 17:25Speaker 2: mon't even keep going with what I was gonna say.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I feel like some stuff should be I'll leave that
- 17:30Speaker 2: up to imagination, but I think some stuff should.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Be yeah left upside.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:35Speaker 1: The compliment goes a long way when you're down. Yeah
- 17:37Speaker 1: yeah yeah?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Girls, what are your non negotiables when dating?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Fuck?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Don't be a fucking misogynistic pig. That sucks for you. Yeah. Me.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Hey, I'm not in that category, but I feel like
- 17:54Speaker 1: that one is the most relatable. Yeah, this is the
- 17:57Speaker 1: one you tick the most, I think. Okay, girl, what
- 18:00Speaker 1: are your non negotiables when dating little Pippy?
- 18:04Speaker 2: She wants a little peepy Yeah, hey, someone's finally admitting it.
- 18:10Speaker 2: The big ones? Yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah, to be fair, the perfect side just medium, yeah, small,
- 18:17Speaker 1: small end of the scale.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I feel like I knew so to be derogatory, I
- 18:21Speaker 2: feel like I knew my body quite well right up
- 18:24Speaker 2: until like two days ago. I have a way bigger
- 18:27Speaker 2: bend in my penis than I thought.
- 18:29Speaker 1: You see some other dicks to compare it to something.
- 18:31Speaker 2: No, No, I just feel like I always kind of
- 18:32Speaker 2: thought I had like a straight Maybe it's bending more.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I just maybe I don't look at it that much,
- 18:37Speaker 2: you know what, You should check it out. Maybe it's
- 18:39Speaker 2: trying to grow but the skin's holding it back.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Yea yeah yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 2: But it's just a way bigger bend than I thought.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Good to know, Yeah, which way up?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Down? So like if I'm looking down left, like hard left.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Bro, maybe trying to get out of there and hard
- 18:55Speaker 1: it's not like a captain's hook but it's like hard,
- 18:58Speaker 1: It's like veering left.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like off a freeway.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I feel like it's one of those things when you
- 19:02Speaker 1: look at it so often you don't notice. But if
- 19:03Speaker 1: someone else looked at about I think he's lefty.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Like I just clocked it, you know. I was like,
- 19:10Speaker 2: what are you doing now? Girls? What are your non negotiables?
- 19:14Speaker 2: When dating makes noise during sex? Yeah, I've been heavy
- 19:21Speaker 2: on the moon like that, like you gets missed this,
- 19:29Speaker 2: you missed it? Sexy. I like to go down actually,
- 19:35Speaker 2: like I like to fucking kiss the nape of her
- 19:37Speaker 2: neck like cassion, Like is that what it's called the
- 19:41Speaker 2: nap of the neck, the napors here the back? No,
- 19:45Speaker 2: you don't.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You don't kiss the back of her neck. You don't
- 19:49Speaker 1: do that for hell.
- 19:51Speaker 2: So she's like, you're for now you think about it
- 19:54Speaker 2: and doggy about it, and doggie think about it.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't know you that flexible.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But no, I'm not being now.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Oh she's coming up.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I can taught up.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Oh you can taught her. Oh I need I needed
- 20:07Speaker 1: the mental diagram. She was like on the bed, face
- 20:13Speaker 1: down like flat.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I would do that too, Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Like she's waiting for a mass.
- 20:20Speaker 2: The only reason I know that this is called the
- 20:22Speaker 2: nape of your neck is because of an anime I watched.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I'll fucking get ship done, bros, My turn your time
- 20:32Speaker 2: me girls.
- 20:34Speaker 1: What's your non neghostles when dating similar sex drives?
- 20:38Speaker 3: Oh?
- 20:38Speaker 2: Really fair? Actually that would make a lot of sense.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I think that's valid. But I feel like you don't
- 20:42Speaker 1: find that out ntil you start dating for a lot
- 20:44Speaker 1: of time.
- 20:44Speaker 2: No, yeah, you need to actually yeah, be dating for
- 20:47Speaker 2: a while to find out and have like real life
- 20:49Speaker 2: in this scenario, What do you reckon? I saw a
- 20:54Speaker 2: video I think maybe it was Emma Chamberlain made. It
- 20:57Speaker 2: was it was like on her podcast, but it was
- 20:59Speaker 2: a TikTok I watched and she got asked a question
- 21:02Speaker 2: about someone said like, how do you deal with wildly
- 21:05Speaker 2: different sex drives? Oh? And she I didn't really remember
- 21:08Speaker 2: going on to answer it, but I thought it was
- 21:10Speaker 2: like a kind of a good conversation starter. I don't
- 21:13Speaker 2: wildly different sex drives because sometimes I would say, sometimes
- 21:16Speaker 2: I can be I could want it every day every
- 21:19Speaker 2: second day, and that's like a lot for me. But
- 21:22Speaker 2: then sometimes I could go a week two weeks where
- 21:26Speaker 2: it's like not something that really crosses my mind.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I think it's hard for the partner who wants it less.
- 21:32Speaker 1: It's hard for both people. Actually, the person who wants
- 21:34Speaker 1: it less, their point of view is they kind of
- 21:37Speaker 1: feel an obligation to have sex with the person, and
- 21:39Speaker 1: then they start to resent them because they're having sex
- 21:41Speaker 1: for them, not because they want it.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's a.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Weird like situation where you have to communicate being like okay, no.
- 21:49Speaker 1: But also it comes down to like communication at the
- 21:51Speaker 1: end of the day because you have to get yourself
- 21:52Speaker 1: in the mood. A lot of people be like, oh,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I'm not turned on. Yeah, but it's also as much
- 21:56Speaker 1: as your part getting turned on, and it as is
- 21:57Speaker 1: your counterpart to turn you want I fuck it valid.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I think that the person that wants it more they
- 22:04Speaker 1: probably need to put I would say, a bit more
- 22:07Speaker 1: effort into making the person that wants it less just
- 22:10Speaker 1: genuinely feeling sexier.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 22:14Speaker 1: It's it's a mindset thing for both people. Yeah, because
- 22:17Speaker 1: it's not as much about the sex. It's about it's
- 22:19Speaker 1: about a mental state of being there and consciously being
- 22:22Speaker 1: ready to be in the mood.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, I find I reckon a lot of people
- 22:26Speaker 2: kin'd of get worried. They'll be like in a relationship
- 22:28Speaker 2: and they haven't had sex for three weeks or some shit,
- 22:30Speaker 2: and they're probably thinking like, oh my god, there's something wrong,
- 22:32Speaker 2: Like what's wrong? People that gets stressed about that I
- 22:35Speaker 2: feel bad for because I'm thinking, like, so, I.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Think it's immaturity. I also think that when I was younger.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I definitely just to think it as well, just.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Be like fuck, it was also like we're going through
- 22:42Speaker 1: puberty and shit, and like when you're eight a nine
- 22:44Speaker 1: as a man, like you're fucking ready to go every
- 22:45Speaker 1: six hours?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Valid.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think the best takeaway from that as
- 22:49Speaker 1: well is just like, don't ever do it because you
- 22:52Speaker 1: feel obligated. Do it because you want it.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good bys. Girls, what are your non
- 22:58Speaker 2: negotiables when dating? I must want to rip his shirt off?
- 23:04Speaker 1: Oh yes, that is a non negotiable Tweetah, imagine like
- 23:13Speaker 1: a girl like whipped your shirt up when you're getting
- 23:15Speaker 1: down like.
- 23:16Speaker 2: All the Yeah you know what if I was I'm
- 23:21Speaker 2: gonna say, if I was wearing a button and we
- 23:24Speaker 2: were getting crazy and she just goes, I need to
- 23:25Speaker 2: get in there, she's like ravaging me and she just
- 23:27Speaker 2: goesroos my button up to be like my buttons. I'd
- 23:31Speaker 2: run around and pick them up with my pants off
- 23:32Speaker 2: and share I need them. What the hell?
- 23:37Speaker 1: That's one hundred dollar things?
- 23:39Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Not that movie? Girls? What are your non negotiables when dating?
- 23:50Speaker 1: They say, paper scissors rock? What crazy?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Paper scissors rock? Let's se if we did the same way? Wait?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Wait wait are you actually insane? Ready? Wait? Wait wait
- 24:01Speaker 2: wait wait wait wait please? Okay, no, let's play it
- 24:03Speaker 2: and say it that way and see how weird it feels. Ready,
- 24:06Speaker 2: paper rock, it's you proper paper rock? Yeah? What? What
- 24:13Speaker 2: the fuck?
- 24:14Speaker 1: My brain couldn't even comprehend that? Do you know what
- 24:16Speaker 1: they do in Canada where I grew up? At least
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'll be like, hey, Bud, you know it was rock papers,
- 24:22Speaker 1: all of them papers rock. I reckon rock rock papers
- 24:26Speaker 1: is better than paperses of rock. Paper, but it's his
- 24:29Speaker 1: paper rock rock runs off the tongue peper rock quick
- 24:38Speaker 1: ends a good game, all right?
- 24:44Speaker 2: What are your non negotiables when dating? Tomato sauce in
- 24:49Speaker 2: the cupboard.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Now, I'm a fridge guy. I'm a fridge guy as well,
- 24:53Speaker 1: you want that ship cool.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I genuinely have a hatred for people that put their
- 25:00Speaker 2: tomato sauce in the cupboard. Yeah. Also, there was a
- 25:05Speaker 2: thing that came out Heinz so Heines has catch up,
- 25:08Speaker 2: but Master foods tomato sauce. They're like, guys, it needs
- 25:12Speaker 2: to go in the fridge. Yeah, it goes off, it'll
- 25:15Speaker 2: go off, it goes moldy, it needs to go in
- 25:17Speaker 2: the fridge. Yeah, sus I grew up using catch up
- 25:22Speaker 2: to one time I was I remember as well. I
- 25:25Speaker 2: was really young and my food was like piping hot,
- 25:29Speaker 2: and my grandpa said, he used this, it'll cool it down.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And it was catch up up until I was like fifteen.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I thought catchup and tomato sauce was used to cool
- 25:38Speaker 2: your food down.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Really, I'm hundred percent ghastly. You oh to be fair,
- 25:41Speaker 1: to be wrong.
- 25:42Speaker 2: He was like it was cold, and he was like
- 25:44Speaker 2: he dipped in this, it'll cool it down. And I
- 25:46Speaker 2: also just tasted delicious, and I was like, give me more.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Moto sauce is a game changer.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I used to get in trouble for how much tomato
- 25:52Speaker 2: sauce I put on my plate. Really, yeah, because they'd
- 25:54Speaker 2: be like you waste it because I wouldn't use it
- 25:56Speaker 2: all you love your baby Q.
- 25:57Speaker 1: No, it's better to have too much and not enough.
- 25:59Speaker 2: I used to what are you a barbecue or tomato sauce?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Tomato bit? Catchup or catch up better than to catch up?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Way better? Yeah, I like tomato sauce better sweeter. Yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 2: that's why I come up. I like sour bet than sweet.
- 26:10Speaker 2: But I used to I'm a bubble sauce guy. Now
- 26:12Speaker 2: you've always been a bubb Also, I can't have any
- 26:14Speaker 2: of it anymore. Yeah, both made from onion. Yeah? Does
- 26:18Speaker 2: I have fire fod onion and garlic top of the
- 26:21Speaker 2: fog mask?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it sucks with me me guys, Yeah, ship
- 26:25Speaker 1: sucks if like a vampire comes to you.
- 26:27Speaker 2: You why you kind of garlic? I can hold onto it.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I can hold on to whatever. Smart.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Okay, girls, what are your non negotiables when dating? Knows
- 26:43Speaker 1: how to apologize?
- 26:45Speaker 2: Oh?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Good one, I'm sorry, here's some flowers. Not good now
- 26:53Speaker 1: the proper apology.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I'm done.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I have last one that we both tick?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Girls?
- 27:00Speaker 1: What do you no negostables when dating? Two showers a day?
- 27:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I am morning and night. I'm two or three
- 27:06Speaker 2: sometimes sometimes I'll have a third. If I get a
- 27:09Speaker 2: mad sweaty at the gym, Yeah, come home and have
- 27:11Speaker 2: one and then have it.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I always shower after the gym, no matter what.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I used to be, Like, I used to be always morning.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And then if I went throughout the day, like if
- 27:19Speaker 2: I stay home all day and don't do much, I
- 27:22Speaker 2: could go to bed without having one. But then Beth
- 27:24Speaker 2: was like, get the fuck in the shower.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I saw a video and it was like dading men
- 27:28Speaker 1: for the first time, you realize men shower at the
- 27:31Speaker 1: most random hours.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, no matter.
- 27:33Speaker 1: What time I wake up, I'm showering. Why, no matter
- 27:36Speaker 1: what time I'm going to bed, I'll shower before.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I go to sleep. And I also usually I don't
- 27:39Speaker 2: even shower in the morning because I feel dirty. It
- 27:41Speaker 2: wakes me up. Yeah, I do it because like it
- 27:43Speaker 2: wakes me up, and like fixing my hair and shit,
- 27:45Speaker 2: like you give your bed head that she fixes the
- 27:47Speaker 2: bed head that looks like a cock too. I always
- 27:48Speaker 2: think it's so crazy that, like because Beth doesn't she
- 27:51Speaker 2: showers some mornings, but not every morning. Those girls don't,
- 27:53Speaker 2: and so she'll wake up and she just like does
- 27:55Speaker 2: her hair even though she's just slept in it, and
- 27:57Speaker 2: I'm like, how are you? It's just wis me?
- 28:00Speaker 1: It feel seaedy to me?
- 28:01Speaker 2: Like now they've done it so much valid, Just like
- 28:04Speaker 2: just brushing my teeth and maybe cleaning my face wouldn't
- 28:06Speaker 2: be enough. Nobody needs to be drenched.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Yeah see, we don't wash our legs, but we show
- 28:11Speaker 1: more than you, guys.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Fucking valid. The amount of water that hits our legs
- 28:16Speaker 2: cleans it.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It's hits your exactly alrighty Jake up next, I got
- 28:28Speaker 1: a fun little exercise I want to post to you
- 28:31Speaker 1: to do next week.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Easy.
- 28:33Speaker 1: This week is my turn. And as we mentioned, we
- 28:37Speaker 1: just got back from I was a month in ballet.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Jake was three weeks.
- 28:39Speaker 1: But it was kind of a bit of a reflection
- 28:41Speaker 1: and it's a good find a refresh button on our lives.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And with that, I wanted to have the exercise of
- 28:49Speaker 1: writing a letter to your older self. So future, no yourself,
- 28:54Speaker 1: Yeah no, I'm writing a letter to two to three
- 28:56Speaker 1: years ago.
- 28:57Speaker 2: It was your younger self.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, my younger self myself.
- 29:00Speaker 2: You said your older self. I didn't do I'm pretty
- 29:03Speaker 2: sure I said my past ulf.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I thought my older self.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I feel like the first time you said you said,
- 29:07Speaker 2: like writing a letter to my older self, I.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Feel like I said past. I don't know.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I'm pretty keen for the edit.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Lucky i edit it. But this is a letter to
- 29:18Speaker 1: my past self. And it's just cool to reflect and
- 29:23Speaker 1: see how much you've changed, because when you're in it,
- 29:26Speaker 1: you kind of don't feel everything that's going on in life.
- 29:28Speaker 2: We've got a specific age.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I'm going two years ago, so I was twenty three.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Easy fucking getting old. Two years ago you were twenty three.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Crazy to say you're older than me, but I'm also
- 29:40Speaker 2: two years ago I was also twenty three, but also
- 29:42Speaker 2: you're older than me. All right, Okay, same year.
- 29:45Speaker 1: So dear Oddie, be proud of yourself. Last time you
- 29:50Speaker 1: wrote to yourself. Your life looks so much different looking
- 29:52Speaker 1: back now, I can't believe how much you've accomplished in career, mindset,
- 29:56Speaker 1: and relationship. You've worked hard, but remember to take a
- 30:00Speaker 1: second to breathe, relax, and take it all in. Life
- 30:03Speaker 1: feels like it's moving at a million miles a minute,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and two years ago feels like a blink of an eye.
- 30:08Speaker 1: You've always been a dreamer and a stubborn dreamer at that.
- 30:11Speaker 1: It's one of your best attributes. Stick to what you believe,
- 30:14Speaker 1: stay tue to your path, but keep in the back
- 30:16Speaker 1: of your mind that along your path, beautiful people will
- 30:18Speaker 1: start to join the journey. Be conscious of their goals
- 30:21Speaker 1: and your own, and figure out a way to support
- 30:23Speaker 1: them and yourself. I know the future is scary and unknown,
- 30:27Speaker 1: but that's what makes it exciting.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Your life is yours to live. You are in complete control,
- 30:32Speaker 1: and when you do feel stuck or overwhelmed, you know
- 30:34Speaker 1: there are people around you you can talk to. You
- 30:36Speaker 1: don't have to deal with everything alone. You'll get better
- 30:39Speaker 1: at this, don't worry. I want to say your goals
- 30:41Speaker 1: haven't changed too much. You still want to have the
- 30:43Speaker 1: best pod in Australia. But I want to say you
- 30:46Speaker 1: kind of a feeling like you need to plan your
- 30:48Speaker 1: future more. You're looking forward to having a family and
- 30:50Speaker 1: you're going to have a dog very very soon. My
- 30:53Speaker 1: final message is to have more fun.
- 30:54Speaker 2: That's literally it.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Enjoy yourself.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Regards older Oddie, Damn, that's pretty sick. Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I think it's a really healthy exercise for your mindset
- 31:06Speaker 1: and everything going on in your life because it does
- 31:08Speaker 1: go so quickly and you don't really realize everything you've
- 31:10Speaker 1: achieved mentally, physically, emotionally.
- 31:13Speaker 2: It's going to think about what you trying to think?
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah, like what we used to be like yeah, even
- 31:18Speaker 1: like you could do eighteen to twenty five, and I'm
- 31:21Speaker 1: such a different person. It's crazy.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I feel like you changed so yeah from like eight
- 31:28Speaker 2: like from for your first like twenty five years of
- 31:30Speaker 2: your life. I feel like every year you change a bunch,
- 31:34Speaker 2: but it doesn't feel like a base personality stays the same. Yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 2: but you feel like I actually don't feel like I
- 31:40Speaker 2: have changed much. But I guarantee you, if I could
- 31:43Speaker 2: go back and watch myself, yeah, on like a fucking TV,
- 31:46Speaker 2: I'd be like, I even think as simple as simple
- 31:52Speaker 2: as your demeanor has changed so much, the growth of experienced,
- 31:56Speaker 2: like the unconscious growth. I think I've become, I want
- 32:02Speaker 2: to say more, maybe relaxed, relaxed. I feel like I've
- 32:08Speaker 2: become maybe easier going. Yeah, but I've always been easy going.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, like, I don't know, I feel
- 32:17Speaker 1: like nothing phases you.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Yeah, like nothing phases me. I'm trying to think what
- 32:21Speaker 2: a good word for it is, Like, oh, I think
- 32:25Speaker 2: I am now less influenceable that would you know what
- 32:31Speaker 2: I mean by other people, By other people, Yeah, like
- 32:33Speaker 2: by surroundings, Like I'm not going to fucking better saying no,
- 32:36Speaker 2: but yeah, I'm not just gonna like agree with a
- 32:38Speaker 2: friend group because I want to belong in the friend
- 32:40Speaker 2: group and like kind of base a personality around that.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I feel like in the past, I can remember times
- 32:45Speaker 2: where you I think I can feel like I was
- 32:50Speaker 2: maybe playing along. Oh yeah, that's relatable.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I felt like I was playing a part of
- 32:57Speaker 1: what I thought my role in the group was.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel I genuinely think that is something that
- 33:03Speaker 2: I did and that I do. Think that's probably why
- 33:05Speaker 2: we have veered away. Wait, our whole friend group. So
- 33:10Speaker 2: we you and myself pretty much out of contact. Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 2: with their friend group, bar like one or two people.
- 33:17Speaker 2: But also I'm pretty sure our friend group is the
- 33:21Speaker 2: same thing. I think there's people. So let's say there
- 33:24Speaker 2: was a group of ten you and I have kind
- 33:26Speaker 2: of veered off. We keep in contact with a few,
- 33:27Speaker 2: but pretty rarely. And then there's three more that veered off.
- 33:32Speaker 2: They all didn't just stay together, No, it's like it's happened.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Everyone's grown separately, and the whole friend group is kind
- 33:38Speaker 2: of as it's in my from what I can see
- 33:41Speaker 2: on the outside of least has veered off. Yeah, it's
- 33:43Speaker 2: kind of wild to think about.
- 33:44Speaker 1: It's kind of like we were friends because of proximity
- 33:47Speaker 1: in a sense.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all we ever knew. Fuck. You know what
- 33:51Speaker 2: this brings up is the fact that majority of it
- 33:54Speaker 2: was very surface level. Oh it was so we've spoken
- 33:57Speaker 2: about this before, I think, yeah, but I actually saw
- 34:00Speaker 2: it was an Abbi Chatfield video. Beth and I watched
- 34:02Speaker 2: it and she was reacting to a video. So the
- 34:04Speaker 2: video was this guy was sitting with a couple friends
- 34:11Speaker 2: and he made a video and they thought it was
- 34:12Speaker 2: quite funny. And this guy said, Oh, I'm gonna ask
- 34:17Speaker 2: my friends a couple questions. Now I've seen this exact video,
- 34:20Speaker 2: and it's the one where he says, what's my ex
- 34:22Speaker 2: girlfriend's name? I didn't know, none of them knew. And
- 34:25Speaker 2: then one of them's like, oh, is this the one that?
- 34:29Speaker 2: Is this the one you broke up with? And and
- 34:30Speaker 2: it hurt you so bad that that you had to
- 34:32Speaker 2: leave your apartment, you had to leave New York or
- 34:34Speaker 2: like you had to leave the city you were in
- 34:35Speaker 2: you had to leave cities. That's how much it hurt him.
- 34:37Speaker 2: And then someone goes, wait, you I didn't know that's
- 34:40Speaker 2: why you left the city. And then this guy that's
- 34:43Speaker 2: asking the questions is laughing. They're all laughing and they're
- 34:45Speaker 2: all like, fuck, we know nothing. And then Abby Chatfield
- 34:48Speaker 2: makes that this great point. She she kind of beams
- 34:51Speaker 2: in and she's like, she's like, fuck, I feel bad
- 34:52Speaker 2: for this dude. His friends don't know anything about him.
- 34:55Speaker 1: That's most male friendship groups.
- 34:57Speaker 2: That's honestly the major already of male friendship groups. But
- 35:02Speaker 2: even thinking about it, right, So she goes on to
- 35:05Speaker 2: say some good points like men love to talk about
- 35:09Speaker 2: how say dramatic girls are right and how they always
- 35:14Speaker 2: are moving friends because they always have falling outs and
- 35:17Speaker 2: it's way more common to have falling outs. But the
- 35:19Speaker 2: reason men don't have falling outs is because we don't
- 35:24Speaker 2: know them. Like we don't know our friends.
- 35:27Speaker 1: There's nothing to fall out about.
- 35:28Speaker 2: It that we don't know them well enough to give
- 35:30Speaker 2: enough of a shit to have a falling out. So
- 35:33Speaker 2: if they do something wrong, we don't care about that
- 35:36Speaker 2: friend enough to call them out because we want them
- 35:39Speaker 2: to be better, So therefore there is no argument. You
- 35:42Speaker 2: just let shit happen because you cannot be bothered because
- 35:46Speaker 2: you don't. Like with you and I, it is a
- 35:50Speaker 2: little different, like we would value it enough where we
- 35:53Speaker 2: would if an argument needed to happen, an argument would
- 35:56Speaker 2: happen because it's like we care about like we have
- 35:59Speaker 2: like a deep love, if that makes sense. But also
- 36:02Speaker 2: if you think about it, how often maybe say off
- 36:08Speaker 2: the pod, like we don't really ask each other all
- 36:10Speaker 2: that often, just like oh and you know, and how
- 36:13Speaker 2: do you feel about X situation?
- 36:15Speaker 1: We do sometimes like.
- 36:16Speaker 2: We do, we definitely do sometimes like but and it's more,
- 36:19Speaker 2: it's way less, it's way more under the surface than
- 36:22Speaker 2: like every other friendship I have. Yeah, but still like
- 36:25Speaker 2: we still do kind of just like go around and
- 36:27Speaker 2: chill and like agreed and we don't like, you know,
- 36:31Speaker 2: we're moving to Queensland and we talk about it and
- 36:33Speaker 2: we're like, you know, making sure we want to do it,
- 36:35Speaker 2: and like are you keen to do it and stuff,
- 36:36Speaker 2: But at the same time it's like we could. I
- 36:39Speaker 2: don't know, it's funny, it's weird, you know what I mean?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Do you think that's where do you know how men
- 36:44Speaker 1: in relationship. Most people, most men, sory, don't put in
- 36:48Speaker 1: enough effort and it stems from all their relationships they've
- 36:50Speaker 1: ever known, their friendships, they've never put any effort in,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and now they're in an actual relationship and all they've
- 36:56Speaker 1: ever known is not putting any effort and they not
- 36:57Speaker 1: giving it an excuse by any means, but like that's
- 36:59Speaker 1: what they're doing because that's what they're used to it
- 37:01Speaker 1: and it's both things are relationships in different sense love
- 37:03Speaker 1: and platonic. And they're like, oh, I.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Don't know this is what this is how relationship were
- 37:08Speaker 2: They don't they don't know how to how to do it.
- 37:10Speaker 2: And also complete other end of the spectrum. When they
- 37:13Speaker 2: do get in a relationship, most of the time the
- 37:16Speaker 2: girlfriend that they have or the boyfriend that they have,
- 37:18Speaker 2: like this deep relationship is the only deep relationship they
- 37:21Speaker 2: now have. This is the only person that they can
- 37:23Speaker 2: tell everything to because they don't tell everything to their friends.
- 37:27Speaker 1: The crossovers in girls friendship to a relationship compared to men, Yes.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Like the reason that on average women have more of
- 37:37Speaker 2: a falling out, like way more falling outs than men
- 37:40Speaker 2: is genuinely because it's like an actual relationship is that
- 37:44Speaker 2: we have the nerve to say they're dramatic and yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 2: and we have the nerve to say, yeah, they're dramatic.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Men are way more simple, like we're chilen. Haven't hard
- 37:50Speaker 2: to fight with my friends in my whole fucking twenty
- 37:52Speaker 2: five years of being friends with them, And it's like, yeah.
- 37:54Speaker 1: But what do you actually know about what his fucking
- 37:56Speaker 1: middle name?
- 37:57Speaker 2: What's his middle name? And how did he feel last
- 37:59Speaker 2: week when his mum and him had a fucking fight?
- 38:03Speaker 2: All Right, you don't know because you didn't ask, because
- 38:05Speaker 2: you don't care exactly, like exactly. And also it's like
- 38:09Speaker 2: there's this whole thing about the male loneliness and epidemic.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Apparently we're all so good with our friends, but we're
- 38:17Speaker 2: all super fucking lonely.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And you kind of realize that when some of these
- 38:23Speaker 1: male friends are going through really traumatic times, men don't
- 38:27Speaker 1: have the tools to talk about what they're going through. Yeah,
- 38:30Speaker 1: they're just there and drink. That's all they know how
- 38:33Speaker 1: to do.
- 38:33Speaker 2: The only time I have ever had an open and
- 38:35Speaker 2: honest conversation about feelings with friends is when we're both
- 38:39Speaker 2: so fucked up, we're not going to remember it. The
- 38:40Speaker 2: next day. That's insane to say.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I've done it with Like, I think I'm decent at it.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I've got like two friends and three friends including you
- 38:48Speaker 1: that i've done it with before I had really deep
- 38:50Speaker 1: but everyone's gone through a traumatic time and you've had
- 38:53Speaker 1: to talk about it.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's what.
- 38:56Speaker 1: And you also need that thing in the background as
- 38:57Speaker 1: a male, Like we used to do it by gaming.
- 38:59Speaker 1: That's where you're even We won't.
- 39:00Speaker 2: One on one facing each other, but you talk about
- 39:02Speaker 2: it because that was like a safe thing that Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 2: having a game playing in the background, you felt comfortable
- 39:06Speaker 2: in your own home. So if we got a little
- 39:07Speaker 2: awkward and silent, it could be like you're doing something yeaheah.
- 39:10Speaker 1: If it got awkward or sign, you'll be like, yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 1: fucking fucking kill this dude.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but like it's fucking like my own end, right.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I know your dad's sweet, your dad's healthy. Yeah. I
- 39:22Speaker 2: haven't asked you since you've told me that your dad's healthy,
- 39:26Speaker 2: Like how genuinely is he? And how do you feel
- 39:31Speaker 2: about it? How does your brother feel about Have you
- 39:33Speaker 2: spoken in depth like with your brother and mum about
- 39:35Speaker 2: Like these are things I don't even know if you
- 39:36Speaker 2: do behind closed doors and not saying that you need
- 39:38Speaker 2: to talk to them in depth about it. But it's
- 39:40Speaker 2: like these are the things we just don't ask each other. Shit, no,
- 39:43Speaker 2: not really. I never talk about my mum.
- 39:46Speaker 1: He's fucked.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy, you know. But with Beth and like
- 39:51Speaker 2: with Cassie, like you just have like mad in depth conversations. Yeah,
- 39:54Speaker 2: it's funny.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Maybe it's somethings to do with like the gender different
- 40:00Speaker 1: is and how we feel comfortable around women.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I don't know, it's yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't know
- 40:05Speaker 2: the answer, right, It's just as a man.
- 40:07Speaker 1: You do feel more comfortable talking to a woman for
- 40:08Speaker 1: some reason. Yeah, Like when I was looking at therapist,
- 40:11Speaker 1: I initially wanted a women because I felt more comfortable
- 40:14Speaker 1: talking to them, like about my feelings.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Because women I just fucking better. They just feel better.
- 40:21Speaker 1: They have a better understanding of emotions and like they
- 40:25Speaker 1: just I don't know, Yeah, I don't know where to
- 40:26Speaker 1: put your finger on it.
- 40:27Speaker 2: It's a freaking weird thing though. It's like it was
- 40:28Speaker 2: I just thought was like a cool observation and I
- 40:30Speaker 2: was just thinking, like it's just so valid. Even with
- 40:34Speaker 2: my friend justin that. I swear he's not imaginary. I
- 40:38Speaker 2: saw a video of him, looked at it, look a.
- 40:41Speaker 1: I feel like he's camera shyed too. I couldn't pull
- 40:47Speaker 1: off the edit.
- 40:49Speaker 2: I couldn't afford to have him in there for longer
- 40:51Speaker 2: than two seconds. But I was even thinking, like, because
- 40:57Speaker 2: I play so, I play golf with him. He's a
- 41:00Speaker 2: new friend, but he's a new friend. But also golf
- 41:02Speaker 2: takes how you know, and so, and I was thinking, see,
- 41:09Speaker 2: I was like, what do we talk about when we're
- 41:11Speaker 2: playing gold? I was like, what do we fucking talk about?
- 41:13Speaker 2: Because surely it's just if we literally just talk about
- 41:18Speaker 2: nothing interesting, it is interesting.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I had another interesting observation, like you said that, I
- 41:24Speaker 1: wanted your take on and ask how you feel about it,
- 41:27Speaker 1: because I know we both want kids, right. I saw
- 41:30Speaker 1: someone online a girl explaining or trying to justify why
- 41:33Speaker 1: she didn't want kids, Not that she had to, but
- 41:35Speaker 1: that's what she was doing, and that's beside the points.
- 41:37Speaker 1: But it made beside the point. But it made me
- 41:39Speaker 1: think about how I want kids. It kind of sparks
- 41:42Speaker 1: something in my mind and I've never thought of it
- 41:44Speaker 1: like this before, but something that would I still want them,
- 41:48Speaker 1: but makes me feel like I wouldn't want them is
- 41:51Speaker 1: because of how hard life is now for young people.
- 41:54Speaker 2: I went through a mad long phrase of being of
- 41:56Speaker 2: saying I don't want kids purely because privileged position to
- 42:03Speaker 2: say this being born in Australia. But the whole world's
- 42:07Speaker 2: pretty fed up.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I mean. And like our parents' generation
- 42:12Speaker 1: like living I don't know, but it seemed a lot
- 42:16Speaker 1: more freeing, cheaper, different, easier to get at different. Yeah, now,
- 42:20Speaker 1: like our parents bought houses for twenty thousand dollars, all
- 42:24Speaker 1: of us a million dollars plus.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I can't. I can't.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I don't want to think what our kids are going
- 42:28Speaker 1: to be paying two three four million dollars. And like
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm getting overwhelmed right now trying to figure out my life.
- 42:34Speaker 1: I'm like, fuck, do I want to bring someone into
- 42:36Speaker 1: this world to have their own problems?
- 42:37Speaker 2: I know.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I'm like it's really overwhelming for me. And I was
- 42:40Speaker 1: like fuck. I was like, I've never thought of it
- 42:41Speaker 1: like that, because it's kids are cool one one.
- 42:43Speaker 2: That's what I think. Like, I want to have a family,
- 42:45Speaker 2: and we also have some sort of duty within us
- 42:48Speaker 2: to let the race live on. Let the human beings
- 42:52Speaker 2: live on.
- 42:52Speaker 1: But yeah, but then, like, even like everyone these days,
- 42:55Speaker 1: you have to either buy a house with your partner
- 42:57Speaker 1: or a friend to be able to do it. Fuck
- 42:59Speaker 1: what they're going to get for six people to buy
- 43:00Speaker 1: a house.
- 43:01Speaker 2: It's fuck, It's actually insane. Sometimes I think, right, like,
- 43:06Speaker 2: do we all so? Reproducing is obviously an instinctive thing. Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 2: but sometimes I also think, like is another reason we
- 43:16Speaker 2: do it because of the same reasons why we do
- 43:19Speaker 2: literally everything. We go to university because we're told to.
- 43:23Speaker 2: We get jobs because we're told to, We buy a
- 43:25Speaker 2: house because pretty much we're told to. People having kids
- 43:28Speaker 2: because we're told to. Like, is it free will or
- 43:31Speaker 2: is it something that you just think you need to do.
- 43:33Speaker 1: I don't think you can beat the feeling of having
- 43:37Speaker 1: a family.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but it also it's coming from someone without a
- 43:40Speaker 2: family of a family. What do you mean, No, you
- 43:42Speaker 2: haven't had kids yet.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I've been the kid in the family valid and I
- 43:45Speaker 1: can see how like my mum and dad react to
- 43:48Speaker 1: having kids.
- 43:48Speaker 2: It's amazing. Yeah, but it.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Also made me reassessed of like the position I want
- 43:52Speaker 1: to be in before I have kids.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I know some people don't have that choice, yeah, and
- 43:56Speaker 1: you go to play with the cards you're dealt. But
- 43:58Speaker 1: for me, I was like, fuck, like I want to
- 43:59Speaker 1: be able to give my life, my kid a life
- 44:01Speaker 1: where like he doesn't have to, even though I'm very
- 44:03Speaker 1: privileged and have a good life too, like better than me.
- 44:06Speaker 2: I don't want him to have problems. Why exactly? You know,
- 44:09Speaker 2: I feel like that's all you want for you.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I think that's a male mindset to you always feel
- 44:13Speaker 1: like you have to provide, provide, and do one better
- 44:16Speaker 1: than your dad.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Yeah, what's with that comparison?
- 44:19Speaker 1: I don't know, that's a very relatable male mindset.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, probably toxic in a sense, or maybe maybe not toxic.
- 44:26Speaker 2: It's like classic comparison with thy for joy jealousy not.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Jealousy, I think, just comparison. Yeah, I don't know, living
- 44:37Speaker 1: in the shadow, but pretty much. And then I also
- 44:40Speaker 1: caught myself out on it and saying like that's you
- 44:44Speaker 1: kind of just figure that stuff out. And the beauty
- 44:46Speaker 1: that's in family comes from the connection you make with
- 44:49Speaker 1: this little thing that you build, your family and your
- 44:53Speaker 1: partner births.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Do you know, I gotta say I do want them.
- 44:56Speaker 2: I I don't think that this is a bad mindset.
- 45:02Speaker 2: But I just want to be in a position I
- 45:03Speaker 2: think I said this to you yesterday. Even I just
- 45:05Speaker 2: want to be in a position where when we have
- 45:10Speaker 2: a child, that Beth has the option to not work
- 45:16Speaker 2: if she does not want to work, if she wants
- 45:18Speaker 2: to go to work on childcare. But I just wanted
- 45:21Speaker 2: to be an option. I don't want her to feel
- 45:23Speaker 2: as low to survive I need to go back to work, Yeah, exactly.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I just want her to have the option, you know.
- 45:30Speaker 2: And I want to have the option to also be
- 45:31Speaker 2: able to be home often.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to be able to give the kid
- 45:35Speaker 1: a good life.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Like why have a kid if you can't be around
- 45:37Speaker 2: the fucker?
- 45:40Speaker 1: And I think it's also a naive mindset, yeah, but
- 45:43Speaker 1: I don't know. It's also a thought that a lot
- 45:44Speaker 1: of young people are kind of having twenty five twenty people.
- 45:48Speaker 2: There's a fucking population crisis in the world right now.
- 45:51Speaker 2: We don't have enough or too many where there's more
- 45:53Speaker 2: dying than being born because everyone's waiting because everyone can't.
- 45:57Speaker 2: I don't know if it's good or not, because like
- 45:59Speaker 2: economies will fucking collapse and ship, so like people, we
- 46:02Speaker 2: need more children in Australia is thinking about bringing back
- 46:05Speaker 2: the incentive of you get five K when you have
- 46:06Speaker 2: a kid. We don't have enough house.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I don't understand. Yeah, it's just overwhelming, the whole situation overwhelming.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Everywhere you look. You're like, there's a problem there.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, always a problem. Okay, bad. He signed
- 46:25Speaker 2: for dilemmas. You know how this works in the link
- 46:28Speaker 2: in the description going in, going and submit. I'm going
- 46:31Speaker 2: to start doing a story every week asking for dilemmas
- 46:35Speaker 2: with specific themes. So keep an eye out for that,
- 46:38Speaker 2: and in the story on our Instagram there will be
- 46:40Speaker 2: the link to the dilemmas. So this week, no theme,
- 46:44Speaker 2: just as per us. I've got two though, Okay, I
- 46:47Speaker 2: got two juicy juicy ones, and I need to choose. Okay,
- 46:53Speaker 2: number one. I'm talking to four different guys at once,
- 46:58Speaker 2: and I'm not serious with any of them. I just
- 47:01Speaker 2: do it because I'm single and bored. I like one
- 47:04Speaker 2: of the guys more, and I know he listens to
- 47:07Speaker 2: the podcast, so we will call him Noah. Okay. About
- 47:11Speaker 2: two days ago, I got a friend request on Instagram
- 47:15Speaker 2: and accepted it. An hour later he DMed me. The
- 47:20Speaker 2: DM wrote, Hi, I started following you because I usually
- 47:25Speaker 2: do this to all the girls i'm talking to. I'm
- 47:28Speaker 2: checking to see if you are texting multiple guys at once,
- 47:32Speaker 2: So what's my name? I've seen this trend on TikTok.
- 47:39Speaker 1: This was his fucking track.
- 47:41Speaker 2: This is great. So I'm back to the dilemma. I've
- 47:43Speaker 2: seen this trend on TikTok where guys do the same thing,
- 47:47Speaker 2: and I'm guessing that is where he got the idea from.
- 47:50Speaker 2: I really like Noah out of the four guys that
- 47:53Speaker 2: I'm texting, and I'm guessing it's him. But this is
- 47:57Speaker 2: giving me the biggest dick that either one of them
- 48:00Speaker 2: would text me that, and I'm really hoping that it's
- 48:02Speaker 2: not him. What do I do and how do I respond?
- 48:07Speaker 2: This is giving you yeah that show?
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't like that at all.
- 48:12Speaker 2: It's dad is insane. Drop him.
- 48:15Speaker 1: You're completely within your rights to talk as many people
- 48:17Speaker 1: as you want. Facts he doesn't have any say in that.
- 48:20Speaker 1: And the fact that you like him, the fact that
- 48:22Speaker 1: even though you've liked him and he's done this, I would.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Drop him, Like if the person that sent you this
- 48:26Speaker 2: really likes you and is trying to find out if
- 48:29Speaker 2: you're talking to more than one person at once, how
- 48:31Speaker 2: about don't be super fucking immature. Just the next time
- 48:34Speaker 2: you're with her, ask her are you talking to multiple people?
- 48:37Speaker 2: Because I really like you and I would actually like
- 48:39Speaker 2: to be exclusive. And so if she is talking to
- 48:41Speaker 2: multiple people, she can be honest and say, look, I am,
- 48:43Speaker 2: but I also want to be exclusive, So I'll end
- 48:45Speaker 2: all of that and you have to be okay with that.
- 48:47Speaker 2: But also, he's got to prove himself as a man
- 48:50Speaker 2: before he says that this is the pussiest thing. Yeah
- 48:53Speaker 2: I ever see.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Yeah, like, go on three or four dates, prove yourself
- 48:57Speaker 1: as a person, prove you're a good man and you
- 49:00Speaker 1: deserve her exclusivity, and then ask her and put your
- 49:03Speaker 1: heart on your sleeve and be willing to get rejected.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Dude, this is fun.
- 49:08Speaker 1: How do you She must be young this, it must
- 49:10Speaker 1: be what young people do.
- 49:11Speaker 2: That's crazy, you know what? Okay, how the hell do
- 49:13Speaker 2: you respond to this? Because this is a joke. Yeah, yeah,
- 49:16Speaker 2: let's play like some games. Yeah, some fun.
- 49:19Speaker 1: So he's made this fake account and there's obviously no
- 49:23Speaker 1: followers on it.
- 49:25Speaker 2: What cand you do that? Like puts him in his place?
- 49:27Speaker 4: Here?
- 49:28Speaker 2: Just be like you could somehow make I'm sorry, but
- 49:32Speaker 2: I need this man to feel like a fool.
- 49:35Speaker 1: So she doesn't know if it's Noah or not.
- 49:37Speaker 2: She doesn't know if it's him or not, but she
- 49:38Speaker 2: actually really likes no One. But if it is nowhere,
- 49:40Speaker 2: she's got the biggest dick from it, which is.
- 49:42Speaker 1: We don't want her to pursue this man anymore. So
- 49:44Speaker 1: how can we have some fun? How do we like,
- 49:47Speaker 1: say like, this is the most bitch move I've ever
- 49:50Speaker 1: seen in my life, grow some balls and talk to me.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Maybe you should allude to the fact that you're talking
- 49:55Speaker 1: to more people and then say, even if I was
- 49:58Speaker 1: talking to more people.
- 49:59Speaker 2: I wouldn't tell you this something like that.
- 50:01Speaker 1: How can you do that?
- 50:02Speaker 2: Though? Okay, okay, okay, wait. Could you say something like
- 50:05Speaker 2: ha ha ha, mustn't be my favorite one because they
- 50:07Speaker 2: would never be immature enough to do this. Yeah, something
- 50:10Speaker 2: like that, And you're saying like, mustn't be my favorite one?
- 50:13Speaker 1: Like fuck, yeah, I like that. That's good.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Or you could say same thing like ha ha ha,
- 50:19Speaker 2: you mustn't be my favorite one because he wouldn't be
- 50:21Speaker 2: insecure enough to do this.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Yeah, insecure, I like that playing on that.
- 50:26Speaker 2: That would fuck something, that would.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Fuck him up.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I like that.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Yeah, the best response I could give he wouldn't be
- 50:31Speaker 1: this insecure send me a message like this, yeah yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 1: And also walk away from she? How did she has
- 50:37Speaker 1: to find out which one it is so she can
- 50:38Speaker 1: walk away from him?
- 50:39Speaker 2: No, because her saying that it's just going to make
- 50:42Speaker 2: him walk away. True, So it's just gonna be the
- 50:45Speaker 2: one that stops messaging her. True. True. Hopefully it's not Noah.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Yeah, hope.
- 50:52Speaker 2: I can't believe that she thinks it's no one though,
- 50:54Speaker 2: walk away girl. If it's Noah, yeah, any of them.
- 50:56Speaker 1: You have to be able to find out how who
- 50:58Speaker 1: it is somehow. But yeah, yeah, I'm trying. I'm trying
- 51:03Speaker 1: to like get in my head. How could you like
- 51:04Speaker 1: figure it out too?
- 51:05Speaker 2: Like nah, yeah, you gotta figure it out somehow. Yeah.
- 51:12Speaker 2: I mean that message that is it will hurt him
- 51:15Speaker 2: enough to not talk to you.
- 51:16Speaker 1: So that's what men I like out there.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Wow, that's insane. Wow. That is also the fact that
- 51:21Speaker 2: it's like, how's the what's it called? Uh? When you
- 51:28Speaker 2: damn it? What's the word? How's the balls? The nerve? Right?
- 51:33Speaker 2: How does this guy have the nerve to start the
- 51:35Speaker 2: message off by saying, I do this to all the
- 51:38Speaker 2: girls I talk to. Yeah, like, so it's like he
- 51:42Speaker 2: needs to feel special knowing you don't talk to anyone.
- 51:45Speaker 2: But it's like he's more than It's totally fine to
- 51:48Speaker 2: him to be like I do this to all the
- 51:49Speaker 2: girls that I talked to, like past and president type shit. Yeah,
- 51:54Speaker 2: what a fucking hypocrite.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Give me the beggest dick ever.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Fuck it. Anyways, next one you're gonna hate. I hated
- 52:00Speaker 2: that one. Yeah, No, you're gonna hate this one too. Okay,
- 52:05Speaker 2: we've got a juicy best friend dilemma.
- 52:09Speaker 1: They slept together, didn't they?
- 52:10Speaker 2: Hey, guys, love the pody. My dilemma is girl best
- 52:14Speaker 2: friend based. My boyfriend of one year now has had
- 52:17Speaker 2: a girl best friend, which I have stated from the start.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I don't feel comfortable with. Yes, sorry, I don't feel
- 52:24Speaker 2: comfortable with him hanging out with her one on one, Yes,
- 52:27Speaker 2: but I don't mind if we all hang out together.
- 52:29Speaker 2: It's my one non negotiable, which has been fine. Then
- 52:34Speaker 2: a few months ago he went and hung out with
- 52:36Speaker 2: her and didn't tell me until I found out, So
- 52:40Speaker 2: we haven't hung out with her since anyway to the problem.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Now he has said that I need to change my
- 52:45Speaker 2: attitude towards the situation and let him see her one
- 52:48Speaker 2: on one, or he'll leave me. What do I do?
- 52:50Speaker 2: Leave him? The fuck are you talking about? Leave this man?
- 52:58Speaker 1: One wordpulation?
- 53:00Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 53:02Speaker 1: He is manipulating you. He went behind your back to
- 53:04Speaker 1: see this person after your voice that you're uncomfortable with it,
- 53:07Speaker 1: and now he's put it on you saying you're the problem.
- 53:09Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 53:11Speaker 1: Fucking leave him? Yeah, even if he thinks it's a
- 53:16Speaker 1: toxic mindset, You've done the right thing and communicated how
- 53:19Speaker 1: you feel and he hasn't respected how you're feeling and
- 53:21Speaker 1: gone behind your back and done that. You just say, hey, no,
- 53:24Speaker 1: you've lost my trust. Fuck you go have sex of it.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I'm moving on. You're ugly, check that in there?
- 53:29Speaker 2: Why not?
- 53:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 53:30Speaker 2: Why not? You're ugly? Anyway, that's no reason. Why dude?
- 53:34Speaker 2: What the fuck?
- 53:35Speaker 1: I can't believe he said that after It's what's with
- 53:38Speaker 1: people getting caught out in the wrong and then turning
- 53:40Speaker 1: it on the other person like they're the problem. You've
- 53:44Speaker 1: been caught in a lie and now you're the problem.
- 53:46Speaker 1: What it's like you made me cheat, Like what is it?
- 53:50Speaker 2: Like, like, yeah, you drove me to so yeah, my
- 53:55Speaker 2: question for you.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Is like, obviously our advice is you need to leave
- 53:59Speaker 1: this man.
- 54:00Speaker 2: He ne should dump him. Obviously, that's insane, and he's
- 54:05Speaker 2: going to try and like if you go to break
- 54:07Speaker 2: up with him, he's obviously going to try and make
- 54:09Speaker 2: you feel toxic and show stuff like that, like don't
- 54:11Speaker 2: be so mature, like I can have friends and shit,
- 54:13Speaker 2: tell this guy to fuck off.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I think what you've done is extremely healthy. Voiced how
- 54:17Speaker 1: you feel, and you've given alternative to allow him to
- 54:21Speaker 1: still hang out with his in quotes friend in a
- 54:23Speaker 1: healthy manner which you're both comfortable with, and he hasn't
- 54:27Speaker 1: respected that boundary. I think you've done everything right. So
- 54:31Speaker 1: I feel bad for you, Sam because he's treated you
- 54:33Speaker 1: this way. Yeah, and you shouldn't be treated this way.
- 54:35Speaker 1: So you know what to do because whenever you are
- 54:36Speaker 1: treated badly, that's when you should leave a situation.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Fuck good luck girl. How he's fucking young? Too young? Dude?
- 54:42Speaker 1: Is this what they're doing?
- 54:43Speaker 2: I want an update and I want to know how
- 54:44Speaker 2: he handled the breakup as well. I need an update
- 54:46Speaker 2: and I need to know how he handled the breakup.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I want to know why he wants the friendship with
- 54:51Speaker 1: the other girl, Like, what's his justifications?
- 54:54Speaker 2: There aren't any, they can't be I don't know. Fuck,
- 54:59Speaker 2: we stand on this business so often, just like the
- 55:01Speaker 2: best friend thing. I just I just.
- 55:06Speaker 1: It's not even like if we're right or wrong that
- 55:08Speaker 1: you kind of girls who are best friends. She's voice
- 55:10Speaker 1: that she's uncomfortable with it exactly. It means it's wrong
- 55:13Speaker 1: from the beginning as.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's it's it's it's an interesting like
- 55:19Speaker 2: you guys obviously just weren't compatible. Unfortunately because you voiced
- 55:24Speaker 2: it you didn't like it, and then he just wanted
- 55:26Speaker 2: to be with you, so he said, okay, yeah, I
- 55:28Speaker 2: won't see her. But then he's also like, so something
- 55:31Speaker 2: for him is he needs to find someone that's okay
- 55:33Speaker 2: with him having a girl best friend. But that's not you.
- 55:37Speaker 2: So you guys probably shouldn't have dated in the first place. Yeah,
- 55:40Speaker 2: let's be completely real. That's just you need to find
- 55:42Speaker 2: someone that's okay with it.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I'm thinking too, like, even if you took gender out
- 55:46Speaker 1: of the equation, and if for some reason I voiced
- 55:49Speaker 1: to my partner that I don't feel comfortable when you
- 55:52Speaker 1: hang out with X, and she went and hanged out
- 55:55Speaker 1: of X behind my back after I voiced that, and
- 55:58Speaker 1: then came back and said, you need to sort yourself out.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I'll be like, you just went behind my back to
- 56:02Speaker 1: hang out with them. I was like, you just lied
- 56:04Speaker 1: to me. You've ruled my trust.
- 56:05Speaker 2: I'd be like, okay, how am I the problem?
- 56:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I've just voiced you that and you respected that
- 56:10Speaker 1: boundary we communicate and you said that was fine, and
- 56:12Speaker 1: now you've done this without talking again.
- 56:14Speaker 2: That's not fair on me.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's I'm so sorry.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Okay, it's time for comments. I've got YouTube or he's
- 56:28Speaker 2: got Spotify. I'll go first. I've only got one. This
- 56:31Speaker 2: is actually one that I have replied to already the
- 56:33Speaker 2: other day. Okay, okay, that's from Sassy Mouse eighty eight.
- 56:37Speaker 2: She said, only watching the intro and can already tell
- 56:39Speaker 2: Jake is definitely a fart smeller and not a smart
- 56:42Speaker 2: feller because of the shirt. I was weary and so
- 56:45Speaker 2: w I replied, and I said, yeah, I'm a fat
- 56:47Speaker 2: smeller because as soon as the camera goes off, Bodie
- 56:49Speaker 2: farts like there's money on the line.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Hey, I do not.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 56:58Speaker 1: You smell your own farts. I've got Charlotte Mary. The
- 57:03Speaker 1: term slutty for an object is used all the time,
- 57:06Speaker 1: mainly about fictional men. Think the watch on Conrad Fisher
- 57:10Speaker 1: or think the glasses Jonathan Bailey wears in Jurassic Park
- 57:13Speaker 1: slutty little watches or slutty little glasses.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Damn, what about anything else?
- 57:17Speaker 1: Because we asked, how can I watch looks slutty and
- 57:21Speaker 1: or like an object be sludy and what has this
- 57:23Speaker 1: thing slutty? And we said it'd be more naked, so
- 57:26Speaker 1: like kind of like emphasizes how sexy they are.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Slutty little glasses. I see it. I do see I
- 57:31Speaker 2: see the I like it.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I like how you couldn't say that about anything, would
- 57:36Speaker 1: war No?
- 57:36Speaker 2: Probably not no, but like kind of funny about a man. Yeah,
- 57:39Speaker 2: I feel like I'm not gonna lie if someone said, like,
- 57:41Speaker 2: you know, I love you in that slutty little ring Jake, Yeah,
- 57:45Speaker 2: he kind of like thank you. Yeah, I'd feel like
- 57:48Speaker 2: it's flattered. Bro, don't know why couldn't do that?
- 57:51Speaker 1: And that's slutty little No, it's an object, you can't
- 57:53Speaker 1: do it. I guess light, little nose piercing or something.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Surely what other objects can be? Slutty? A bag, a
- 58:01Speaker 2: little bag, a man with a bag. Genuinely I want one, But.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I also don't think you could do clothing. You can't
- 58:07Speaker 1: like say, that's slowly little show like.
- 58:08Speaker 2: I don't realize that.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Because it's revealing. It has to be like a it's
- 58:11Speaker 1: got to be a what an object classes?
- 58:13Speaker 2: Maybe a hat? It's backwards hat.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It looks good in that slightly, Maybe it needs to
- 58:18Speaker 1: be complimented with a compliment.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Slood little ear rings, yeah, oh, slunty little nails, slightly
- 58:25Speaker 2: little nails. Yeah.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Interesting, I would take that as a compliment. Okay, now
- 58:30Speaker 1: we know. But now, baddies, we haven't done this in
- 58:32Speaker 1: a month, so we are excited to talk to you.
- 58:35Speaker 1: It is time for the baddie sign off. This is
- 58:37Speaker 1: where we call one of you lovely baddies and if
- 58:39Speaker 1: you want to get called by us, there is a
- 58:41Speaker 1: link in the bottom of the description to sign off
- 58:43Speaker 1: the episode. Today, we are calling Graces.
- 58:51Speaker 5: Hello.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Hello, is this Grace, Yes, the suit Grace. This is
- 58:57Speaker 2: Jake and Oddie from the Relatables. How are you?
- 59:00Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I actually didn't think you guys were called.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, how are you guys?
- 59:09Speaker 1: We're great, We've got good.
- 59:10Speaker 2: It's the first time in a month that we've called
- 59:12Speaker 2: one of the baddies to sign off an episode.
- 59:14Speaker 1: So excited.
- 59:15Speaker 5: How was Barley? Did you guys enjoy it?
- 59:17Speaker 2: Yes? Yeah, yes, it was very very good, great time.
- 59:20Speaker 2: But we missed so jealous, we missed talking to all
- 59:22Speaker 2: the baddies. We wanted to ask if you could sign
- 59:23Speaker 2: up the episode for us.
- 59:25Speaker 5: Oh okay, yes. I was thinking of this the other
- 59:28Speaker 5: day and my friend called me for some advice and
- 59:32Speaker 5: she was just not loving, like single life and everything,
- 59:37Speaker 5: and so I came back to her and I said
- 59:40Speaker 5: that you really got to love yourself and have enjoy
- 59:45Speaker 5: your own company and everything. And I think that's so
- 59:48Speaker 5: much more important. And then a relationship will come when
- 59:52Speaker 5: you want it, when you don't need it.
- 59:55Speaker 1: That's textbook relatables. Baddiescing from the mountaintop.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like we've from the mountaintops for so
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: long now. That is good advice. Grace, Well, thank you
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: very much.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: All right, Well, stay bad and grew up.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Let's go, Yeah, cut her off, better off.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: We love you. Stay bad,
