- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to a peek inside Gator Football Alley Peek here.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Today we're chatting with Zach Blastein of 247 Sports. I
- 0:08Speaker 1: am excited about this one because Florida recruiting is fun again.
- 0:13Speaker 1: This video is brought to you by Price Picks. Don't forget,
- 0:16Speaker 1: new users can download the app, play a $ 5 lineup,
- 0:20Speaker 1: and use our code.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's HMA.
- 0:21Speaker 1: If you win, you'll get $ 150 in lineups instantly. Okay, Zach,
- 0:25Speaker 1: let's start big picture first.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Florida's 4-0.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Ranked in the top 10. They just beat a top
- 0:31Speaker 1: five Ole Miss team in front of a huge group
- 0:34Speaker 1: of recruits. You were there. I was there. How much
- 0:37Speaker 1: has the perception of this program changed on the recruiting
- 0:40Speaker 1: trail in just the first month of the season?
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, a lot in short, but it's been
- 0:48Speaker 2: pretty incredible to watch what John Summerall has done so
- 0:51Speaker 2: far in his short tenure at Florida. I mean, he
- 0:55Speaker 2: had a top 10 S recruiting class before ever playing
- 1:00Speaker 2: a game. Right. And then, and then they go and
- 1:02Speaker 2: have the start that they've had, um, including that, that
- 1:05Speaker 2: dominating win over a top five team in the swamp. Um, yeah,
- 1:10Speaker 2: I mean, I, I just love that they bet on
- 1:13Speaker 2: themselves in this game. And what I mean by that is,
- 1:16Speaker 2: you know, they go and load the swamp with over
- 1:19Speaker 2: a hundred recruits that they're, you know, top priorities right
- 1:23Speaker 2: across the country. Um, and go and have that, you know,
- 1:26Speaker 2: have the confidence to go have that type of performance
- 1:28Speaker 2: against a very talented Ole Miss team led by, you know,
- 1:32Speaker 2: one of the Heisman favorites. So, um, yeah, just love
- 1:35Speaker 2: to see that from, from a new head coach. And, um,
- 1:38Speaker 2: absolutely the, uh, the perception around Florida recruiting is, has
- 1:42Speaker 2: changed in a great way the last couple of weeks.
- 1:45Speaker 1: You mentioned all of those highly regarded prospects that were
- 1:48Speaker 1: on campus for that game. It is the largest prospect
- 1:51Speaker 1: list that I can remember for Florida. I mean, it's
- 1:53Speaker 1: been a very long time if there is a list
- 1:56Speaker 1: that is longer. Coming out of that past weekend, who
- 2:00Speaker 1: are the two or three names where you think Florida
- 2:02Speaker 1: maybe made the biggest move?
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean— I think there's, there's a couple to, to,
- 2:08Speaker 2: to know. I mean, Bryson, right. The number one receiver
- 2:11Speaker 2: recruit in the country was there. I think they made
- 2:14Speaker 2: a big move with him. I mean, I've talked with
- 2:16Speaker 2: his camp plenty just about what matters to them in
- 2:19Speaker 2: the recruiting process. And, you know, number one is, is
- 2:22Speaker 2: proof of concept and playing for a team that could
- 2:25Speaker 2: compete at the highest level. And I think Florida proved
- 2:30Speaker 2: both of those to be true for, you know, in,
- 2:33Speaker 2: in John Summerall's first year, right. First month, um, of coaching, uh,
- 2:38Speaker 2: real on, on field football. So yeah, I mean, I
- 2:40Speaker 2: think they made a big move. I had Miami and
- 2:42Speaker 2: Texas kind of in that lead group for him. I
- 2:44Speaker 2: think Florida's right there, um, contending with those two schools
- 2:47Speaker 2: as his, his recruitment progresses, uh, into the rest of
- 2:50Speaker 2: the season. Um, but yeah, just seeing, seeing what they
- 2:53Speaker 2: were able to do, especially when VB three went down
- 2:56Speaker 2: in that game, um, and still find so much success offensively, um, um,
- 3:01Speaker 2: kind of spreading it around to, to some other receivers, um,
- 3:04Speaker 2: kind of shows kind of the development, um, that I
- 3:07Speaker 2: think Marcus Davis, uh, has done with that group. So yeah,
- 3:11Speaker 2: huge visit with him. Um, there, there's a ton of
- 3:14Speaker 2: other names I could go to. I mean, Samuel Bailey
- 3:16Speaker 2: would have been one, um, offensive tackle that, that committed
- 3:20Speaker 2: to the Gators. Um, but yeah, I mean the Xander Edwards, uh,
- 3:24Speaker 2: a big time running back up there in Jacksonville. I
- 3:26Speaker 2: think we talked about him previously. Um, I had Miami
- 3:31Speaker 2: leading for him entering this visit, but I think Florida's
- 3:34Speaker 2: now neck and neck with Miami in that race. Hudson
- 3:39Speaker 2: West is who I would consider a top quarterback target
- 3:43Speaker 2: for the Gators. I'm hearing that one is trending very nicely,
- 3:47Speaker 2: and we could potentially see a decision in the not-so-distant
- 3:51Speaker 2: future for who I consider probably Florida's top target at
- 3:56Speaker 2: that spot.
- 3:57Speaker 1: We'll talk about him a little bit more in a minute,
- 3:59Speaker 1: but when you watch Bryson Wright as a prospect, what
- 4:03Speaker 1: do you think makes him such a priority for Florida? And,
- 4:07Speaker 1: you know, I know you said Texas and Miami is
- 4:09Speaker 1: kind of how you, who you had slated in those
- 4:11Speaker 1: top two, but do you think that if they keep winning,
- 4:14Speaker 1: there is a chance this could really swing towards the Gators?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Uh, yeah, I mean, first of all, him as a prospect,
- 4:21Speaker 2: I mean, just a freak of nature when it comes
- 4:25Speaker 2: to just the build and the movement ability. And then
- 4:28Speaker 2: obviously it seems like anything remotely within his radius he's
- 4:32Speaker 2: coming down with, right? It's more of an 80-20 than
- 4:35Speaker 2: a 50-50 ball when you're throwing to Bryson Wright. And
- 4:40Speaker 2: what makes him interesting to me is just how much
- 4:43Speaker 2: of a social following, social media presence he has. I mean,
- 4:48Speaker 2: he's He's maybe the most marketable high school athlete right
- 4:51Speaker 2: now in the country, which I think adds kind of
- 4:55Speaker 2: another intriguing layer to his recruitment. But, yeah, I mean,
- 4:58Speaker 2: I think if Florida continues to produce the way they
- 5:01Speaker 2: produced offensively and obviously continues to stack wins, I don't
- 5:06Speaker 2: see why they can't be one of, if not the,
- 5:09Speaker 2: you know. favorites in that recruitment when, when it's time
- 5:13Speaker 2: for him to make a decision. I think they're right there.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I think the visit could not have gone any better. Um,
- 5:18Speaker 2: and yeah, I mean, I absolutely view them as a
- 5:21Speaker 2: true legitimate contender for the number one receiver recruit in
- 5:24Speaker 2: the country.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You mentioned Hudson West and he really is a name
- 5:28Speaker 1: that Florida's gaining momentum with. Um, is he the guy
- 5:33Speaker 1: Florida would like to build the 2028 offensive class around
- 5:37Speaker 1: at quarterback?
- 5:38Speaker 2: I think so. I've heard some stuff this week that
- 5:41Speaker 2: makes me think that Florida is aggressively trying to get
- 5:44Speaker 2: that one done because I think they realize they want
- 5:48Speaker 2: to start to build that class, to your point, around him.
- 5:53Speaker 2: you know, they've started, they've got the premier offensive tackle. Um,
- 5:57Speaker 2: and I think that's appealing obviously as a quarterback, right. Um,
- 6:00Speaker 2: to come into a class with, with one of the
- 6:02Speaker 2: best players that at that position, um, in the country. Um,
- 6:06Speaker 2: but yeah, uh, I think, um, especially with the start
- 6:09Speaker 2: to his junior season that he's had, I think it's
- 6:11Speaker 2: 23 touchdowns over 1700 yards to two interceptions. Um, he's
- 6:16Speaker 2: had an amazing start to his junior year. I think
- 6:19Speaker 2: he's going to send further in the rankings. And he's
- 6:23Speaker 2: a guy that I think Florida made an early evaluation on,
- 6:26Speaker 2: has prioritized heavily over the last couple of months. And
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think, you know, he was obviously in the stands
- 6:31Speaker 2: for that game, said it was one of the coolest
- 6:33Speaker 2: experiences of his life. And I think we could see him,
- 6:36Speaker 2: you know, make a decision sometime this season.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Florida already has Davin Davidson committed in the 2027 class.
- 6:44Speaker 1: How much does having Davidson in the room actually help
- 6:48Speaker 1: Florida with West? And what does the staff's quarterback plan
- 6:51Speaker 1: look like across those two classes?
- 6:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's definitely interesting, right? Because they're also both from
- 6:57Speaker 2: the same area in Sarasota.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And have a relationship a little bit.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yes, yes, you're right. They kind of grew up together
- 7:06Speaker 2: playing football against one another and have known each other
- 7:10Speaker 2: for a long time. They're close, and the families are close.
- 7:13Speaker 2: So it's an intriguing dynamic that way. I think both
- 7:17Speaker 2: of those guys are wired in the way that It's
- 7:20Speaker 2: not one of these situations where, hey, one guy commits
- 7:22Speaker 2: and maybe it impacts the other in a negative way.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I think they're both competitors. So I think if Florida
- 7:29Speaker 2: ended up with both Davin and Hudson, I think both
- 7:33Speaker 2: of those guys would be excited about the opportunity to
- 7:37Speaker 2: go and compete against one another in Gainesville and try
- 7:41Speaker 2: to win that job.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Jacoby Paisley was one of the more interesting visitors on
- 7:46Speaker 1: last week's list because he's committed elsewhere. How legitimate is
- 7:50Speaker 1: Florida's chance to flip him after that official visit?
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's kind of what Florida decides to do, right? Like,
- 7:58Speaker 2: I think Florida has a lot of momentum right now.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I think he's one of their receiver targets in that
- 8:05Speaker 2: 27 class. I think, you know, they're obviously looking still
- 8:08Speaker 2: at a guy like Easton Royal. It was also on campus.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I've heard that they're trying to work to get Jim
- 8:15Speaker 2: Aaron Simmons, the five-star wide receiver committed to Clemson, on
- 8:19Speaker 2: campus at some point. So I think they might still
- 8:21Speaker 2: be big game hunting at that position specifically. So maybe
- 8:26Speaker 2: not a huge rush, but they absolutely stand in a
- 8:29Speaker 2: great spot for Paisley, who was, I think, the lone
- 8:32Speaker 2: official visitor on campus this past weekend.
- 8:35Speaker 1: The 2027 class is.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Largely built and really was before the season started. And,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you know, you talked about big game hunting. Do you
- 8:45Speaker 1: think that's the goal of this class? I mean, I
- 8:48Speaker 1: think your first goal is originally focusing on holding the
- 8:52Speaker 1: class together, but when your season is going as well
- 8:54Speaker 1: as it is, do you get to kind of, you know,
- 8:57Speaker 1: maybe shift away from, okay, let's hold this together and
- 9:00Speaker 1: move more into like, can we upgrade at certain spots?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Is there a couple of true difference makers out there?
- 9:06Speaker 1: Like How does your strategy change when your record becomes
- 9:10Speaker 1: better than you thought maybe it could be? We're gonna
- 9:13Speaker 1: take a quick break from this video to give some
- 9:15Speaker 1: love over to Alumni Hall. Guys, don't forget about the

- 9:53Speaker 1: Hall for all their support. Go check them out and
- 9:55Speaker 1: let them know that Allie sent you.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's, it's what you're saying, right? Like they're, they are,
- 10:00Speaker 2: they have the momentum. They've shown the proof of concept
- 10:03Speaker 2: early on. Obviously they still need to, you know, go
- 10:06Speaker 2: and handle business the rest of the way. but that's
- 10:09Speaker 2: what they're doing right now. They're going, you know, maybe
- 10:12Speaker 2: looking at Texas A & M' s class a little bit.
- 10:14Speaker 2: They had Fred Ards, the top 100 edge rusher out
- 10:18Speaker 2: of Orlando on campus. I went by his school this week.
- 10:22Speaker 2: He's definitely considering the Gators. I wouldn't describe him as
- 10:25Speaker 2: a true, you know, flip target as of right now,
- 10:28Speaker 2: but that one will continue to progress. And A &
- 10:32Speaker 2: M' s obviously had a struggle to start the season. So, Um, yeah, they're,
- 10:37Speaker 2: they're definitely looking at some of those classes. I've heard
- 10:40Speaker 2: that they're talking with the Florida state commit the four
- 10:42Speaker 2: star out of South Florida, Zachary Johnson. They're evaluating him. Um,
- 10:46Speaker 2: that's more of what's going on right now. I don't,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I don't wouldn't describe as any of these flips imminent,
- 10:51Speaker 2: but it's more, you know, reawakening some of those recruitments
- 10:54Speaker 2: now that they have that first year proof of concept
- 10:57Speaker 2: under some, some role. And you got to remember all these,
- 10:59Speaker 2: all these guys that maybe they lost out on that
- 11:01Speaker 2: they're circling back on are guys that, you know, they
- 11:04Speaker 2: were trying to sell a vision. Well, now that vision's
- 11:07Speaker 2: come to reality, so they can point to that and
- 11:09Speaker 2: be like, hey, look, what we told you over the
- 11:11Speaker 2: summer when we were trying to land you over whoever
- 11:14Speaker 2: else you committed to, it's come to fruition. And I
- 11:19Speaker 2: think that buys a lot of goodwill with prospects who
- 11:22Speaker 2: they were heavily involved with previously.
- 11:25Speaker 1: A few minutes ago, you talked about Florida landing Samuel
- 11:28Speaker 1: Bailey in the 2028 class after he was on campus
- 11:32Speaker 1: last Saturday.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 1: The offensive line has become one of the bigger stories
- 11:35Speaker 1: on the actual football team. How much is the way
- 11:39Speaker 1: that Florida is playing up front helping Coach Troutwine and
- 11:42Speaker 1: his staff recruit elite offensive linemen?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think it's massive. Troutwine is obviously
- 11:50Speaker 2: his reputation speaks for itself with the guys that he's developed.
- 11:55Speaker 2: He's always been known as an excellent recruiter. That's certainly
- 11:58Speaker 2: come to fruition early on in his tenure in Gainesville. Um,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and yeah, I mean the proof of concept with, with
- 12:04Speaker 2: that unit, um, seeming to improve significantly year over year, um,
- 12:08Speaker 2: I think is a big deal. Um, and it certainly
- 12:11Speaker 2: helped in the recruitment of, of Sam Bailey, um, and,
- 12:13Speaker 2: and multiple other offensive linemen that, that Florida's hot and
- 12:16Speaker 2: heavy with in that 28 class. Um, yeah, I mean,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I can't say enough good things about, about trout wine. Um,
- 12:23Speaker 2: and I, I think the world of, of Sam Bailey,
- 12:25Speaker 2: I think he, I watched him at Florida's Friday night
- 12:28Speaker 2: lights camp over the summer. Um, And I was just
- 12:31Speaker 2: taken aback almost with how good he looks as a
- 12:37Speaker 2: true tackle prospect. That's what it's supposed to look like.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And the way he moves at that size is extremely impressive.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So I would not be surprised to see him continue
- 12:47Speaker 2: to trend up in all things and just in the
- 12:50Speaker 2: industry as a whole.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I do think there's a great chance he finishes
- 12:54Speaker 1: as a five-star. I know they haven't quite put those
- 12:57Speaker 1: out for the 2028 class, or not all of them anyway.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Sion Smith also committed on Saturday, and he joins Bailey,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and then Armani Strong, who was already committed to the
- 13:07Speaker 1: 2028 class. Is Florida unusually far ahead in that 2028
- 13:12Speaker 1: cycle compared to where other programs normally are this early?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they're kind of reacting to the changes
- 13:19Speaker 2: in the college football recruiting calendar. I think.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Every year we see the process get expedited. Um, and
- 13:28Speaker 2: you know, what, what happens is, you know, I don't,
- 13:31Speaker 2: I don't know that everyone entered the year expecting the
- 13:33Speaker 2: 27 class to be largely done and fully committed, um,
- 13:38Speaker 2: by June or July. Usually there's, there's more guys that,
- 13:41Speaker 2: that entered the season uncommitted, but there was pretty much none. Um, so,
- 13:45Speaker 2: you know, what is your attention turned to? It's that,
- 13:47Speaker 2: that next year's cycle. And, Um, it's about, you know,
- 13:50Speaker 2: getting ahead and making sure that you're in a great position, uh,
- 13:54Speaker 2: with a lot of those, those current, uh, high school
- 13:56Speaker 2: juniors that, um, will be making decisions, you know, not
- 14:00Speaker 2: long after the season ends. So, um, yeah, I think they're,
- 14:03Speaker 2: they're kind of, um, in a good spot when it
- 14:05Speaker 2: comes to reacting to that expedited expedited timeline. Um, and they're,
- 14:10Speaker 2: you know, they're pushing for some guys to, to, to
- 14:12Speaker 2: make decisions that I think, you know, kind of, they're
- 14:14Speaker 2: focusing on those no doubters, right guys that they've watched
- 14:18Speaker 2: enough film on, they feel great about their evaluations. Like, Hey,
- 14:21Speaker 2: this is a guy, um, we don't, we don't need
- 14:23Speaker 2: to see his senior season or, or, or even more
- 14:25Speaker 2: of his junior season to know that this is a
- 14:27Speaker 2: guy we want in our class. Um, and I think
- 14:30Speaker 2: that's kind of their, their focus on who they're trying
- 14:32Speaker 2: to push for right now.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Of those early 2028 commits, Bailey, Strong, Smith, which one
- 14:39Speaker 1: do you think is the biggest recruiting win for Florida
- 14:41Speaker 1: so far and why?
- 14:43Speaker 2: I think it's undoubtedly Bailey. I mean, you go into
- 14:47Speaker 2: the state of Alabama, a prospect that Bama and Auburn
- 14:52Speaker 2: don't want to lose and go win that battle. Obviously,
- 14:56Speaker 2: Summerhall has a lot of ties to that state. I
- 14:58Speaker 2: think that mattered. in that battle. Um, but yeah, that's
- 15:02Speaker 2: undoubtedly the, the, the best recruiting win, uh, so far that,
- 15:05Speaker 2: that cycle for them.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Um, Ashton Guitto is one of the premier defensive prospects
- 15:11Speaker 1: in the 2028 class. He's an in-state guy from Jacksonville bowls.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Where do you think Florida stands with him right now?
- 15:18Speaker 1: And how important is he to this staff's defensive recruiting board? I,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you know, we talk all the time about how important
- 15:25Speaker 1: it is to keep local guys home. And this is,
- 15:29Speaker 1: As local as it gets.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. I think we talked before about how important
- 15:33Speaker 2: that Jacksonville area is going to be for Florida in
- 15:37Speaker 2: that 28 class just because it's historically loaded with premier talent,
- 15:41Speaker 2: including a guy like Bryson Wright we mentioned before, and
- 15:44Speaker 2: then Asher Giotto, who I think they lead for right now.
- 15:48Speaker 2: You know, he's got Miami high on his list. Georgia's
- 15:51Speaker 2: also in the mix. Florida, he took that visit. He
- 15:53Speaker 2: wasn't even at the Ole Miss game. He was at
- 15:55Speaker 2: a Georgia game, but he took a visit for the
- 15:57Speaker 2: FAU game, and that visit truly blew him away. And
- 16:01Speaker 2: the thing that I'm noting with that recruitment is he
- 16:04Speaker 2: comes back to Florida for the Vandy game, I want
- 16:07Speaker 2: to say, which is maybe the second to last game
- 16:10Speaker 2: of the season. And I think a decision might come
- 16:15Speaker 2: soon after that. So, you know, you have a chance
- 16:18Speaker 2: for Florida to be his final visit. It would be
- 16:21Speaker 2: the second visit he takes to Gainesville this season, which
- 16:24Speaker 2: I believe would be more than any other school is
- 16:27Speaker 2: currently set to get him on campus this year. So
- 16:31Speaker 2: some data points to track there. And he's also, you know,
- 16:34Speaker 2: like I said, a possible early decision relative to some
- 16:37Speaker 2: of his peers, just because he's been on the recruiting
- 16:39Speaker 2: scene for a long time. And Florida's done an excellent
- 16:42Speaker 2: job there. I think they currently stand the best shot,
- 16:45Speaker 2: but still some ways to go before they cross the
- 16:48Speaker 2: finish line.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Florida is clearly recruiting outside the state aggressively as well,
- 16:54Speaker 1: but how would you evaluate where Coach Summerall and the
- 16:56Speaker 1: staff stand right now with elite talent inside of Florida?
- 17:00Speaker 1: You know, we– Ash is one of them, but we–
- 17:05Speaker 1: We want to keep good talent home. We talk about
- 17:08Speaker 1: that all the time. Is there an area in the state,
- 17:10Speaker 1: maybe it's Miami, where they need to make more headway?
- 17:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think recruiting South Florida is always important.
- 17:19Speaker 2: But then you look at kind of that 28 class
- 17:22Speaker 2: and where the talent is concentrated. It's really in Jacksonville
- 17:27Speaker 2: and Tampa. And I think those two regions will be
- 17:30Speaker 2: very important. You know, we talked before about Carolwood Day School.
- 17:34Speaker 2: That's kind of just loaded with 2028 talent that Florida loves.
- 17:39Speaker 2: And there's a couple of those guys that were on
- 17:41Speaker 2: campus for the Ole Miss game that have been on
- 17:42Speaker 2: campus before this season. So that's certainly a school they
- 17:47Speaker 2: want to excel at. They want to land a number
- 17:49Speaker 2: of those guys. And then, you know, Asher, Bryson, Xander Edwards,
- 17:55Speaker 2: the running back at Bowles is another one that was
- 17:57Speaker 2: on campus over the weekend, who I think they're neck
- 18:00Speaker 2: and neck for with Miami right now. And yeah, those
- 18:04Speaker 2: are the two spots I would think are the more
- 18:07Speaker 2: important regions, especially in that 28 class for Florida to
- 18:11Speaker 2: kind of dominate.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Do you think Asher and Xander are tied to each
- 18:14Speaker 1: other in any way? Like, do you think one committing
- 18:16Speaker 1: to one place makes the other more likely to potentially follow?
- 18:21Speaker 2: Potentially. I haven't heard anything that would suggest it's anywhere
- 18:26Speaker 2: close to a package deal. We always talk about that
- 18:30Speaker 2: in recruiting. Those tend to not happen as much. I
- 18:35Speaker 2: think they're independent recruitments. They're both going to evaluate the
- 18:38Speaker 2: things that matter to them equally, but they're also very
- 18:41Speaker 2: close friends, so it doesn't hurt if Asher chooses to
- 18:44Speaker 2: go to Florida. I don't think it hurts Florida's chances,
- 18:48Speaker 2: and I think it probably helps to your point.
- 18:52Speaker 1: If Florida keeps winning like this through October, what is
- 18:57Speaker 1: the recruiting ceiling? Are there national-level prospects who probably weren't
- 19:01Speaker 1: realistic Florida targets maybe a month ago, and suddenly they
- 19:04Speaker 1: become a possibility because of the proof of concept that's
- 19:08Speaker 1: being shown?
- 19:10Speaker 2: I absolutely I think there are. I mean, I think
- 19:12Speaker 2: Bryson Wright's a perfect example to point to a guy that,
- 19:15Speaker 2: you know, I don't think anyone entering the season was
- 19:18Speaker 2: was thinking that Florida had a good shot to land
- 19:22Speaker 2: him in the end. And I think they certainly do now.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And I think that can be the case, you know,
- 19:28Speaker 2: if they continue to win and stack. Really good performances.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I don't see why they couldn't recruit pretty much any
- 19:35Speaker 2: prospect in the country. I mean, Florida just has a
- 19:39Speaker 2: lot to offer as a program, the university. I think
- 19:44Speaker 2: a lot of parents of recruits, top recruits across the
- 19:47Speaker 2: country understand that. It's just about finding that consistency.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:50Speaker 2: That they've lacked in recent times, uh, on the field.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And if John Summerall can, can have a first season, like, like,
- 19:57Speaker 2: you know, it seems like he can, um, I don't
- 20:01Speaker 2: see why they couldn't get into pretty much any national
- 20:03Speaker 2: recruitment and contend.
