- 0:10Speaker 1: And we're live on some social media platforms.
- 0:13Speaker 2: I'm only going to hold on to two for now. Amen.
- 0:17Speaker 1: So, of course, the YouTube channel is DJ Sam Rock.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Also on our Facebook page, Cellular Radio Network. And I'll
- 0:25Speaker 1: try to share it to the group as we go.
- 0:27Speaker 1: So we're here once again.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Amen.
- 0:28Speaker 1: The Morning Devo. I try to be here weekdays, 5.30 a.m.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Eastern Standard Time.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Amen. Just to do what we do. Amen. God is
- 0:36Speaker 2: faithful to his word, and he's amazing at what he
- 0:38Speaker 2: does all the time.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Right? All the time, he's amazing. So let's go for it. Today,
- 0:44Speaker 1: we're going to be in the book of John. We're
- 0:47Speaker 1: going to be in the book of John, first and foremost,
- 0:50Speaker 1: until we finish through the book of John. We're going
- 0:52Speaker 1: to take one verse from every chapter, and we're going
- 0:55Speaker 1: to study it.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Like a morning devotion. It's a start of our day.
- 0:59Speaker 1: With a morning devo from the book of John. So
- 1:02Speaker 1: today we're going to be in chapter 2, verse number 10.
- 1:06Speaker 1: And I'm calling this one the ruler of the feast.
- 1:11Speaker 1: The ruler of the feast. So we're going to pray first.
- 1:14Speaker 1: After we pray, you can share this out to as
- 1:16Speaker 1: many people as you can. I'm not going to put
- 1:18Speaker 1: the timer like I used to.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Unless, you know, we have to for certain reasons. But
- 1:25Speaker 1: you know the drill. If you're with me, you're with me.
- 1:28Speaker 1: God is faithful to his word. Morning Devo, let's go.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Let's celebrate the victory. Let's wake up and win. Let's
- 1:35Speaker 1: celebrate the victory in Christ. Let's learn about him. Let's
- 1:39Speaker 1: speak about him. Let's activate our faith towards the Lord.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Let's put our faith to practice. Let's put our faith
- 1:47Speaker 1: to the test. Let's grow in our.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Faith and let's expand the kingdom of God, right?
- 1:52Speaker 1: So let's go. Father, in the name of Jesus, I
- 1:55Speaker 1: thank you so much for today. I thank you for
- 1:58Speaker 1: every single person that's listening and watching right now. I
- 2:01Speaker 1: pray a hedge of protection, your mighty, our queen angels,
- 2:05Speaker 1: your invincible power to cover us on our day to day.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And we'll walk forward in victory knowing that you are able,
- 2:13Speaker 1: you are willing, you are ultimately the last decision maker
- 2:18Speaker 1: in our lives when we put our faith, hope, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: trust in you.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And I thank you, Lord God, today.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, that your book of John that's
- 2:26Speaker 1: written in the scriptures really amplify our position in you.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That you, Lord God, will be glorified and we will
- 2:33Speaker 1: be lifted up because you are high and lifted up.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And that you, Lord God, will raise every single part
- 2:40Speaker 1: and resurrect every single part of our lives.
- 2:42Speaker 2: That has been dormant or even dead. That you do
- 2:46Speaker 2: that by way of your Holy Spirit.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, the morning devo will continue to
- 2:50Speaker 1: be a blessing to myself and to many others. And
- 2:53Speaker 1: that you, Lord God, will get the glory for it all.
- 2:55Speaker 1: In Jesus' holy name, I pray this by faith. And
- 2:57Speaker 1: those who agree, we say amen to the amen. So
- 3:01Speaker 1: let's go for it. I'm just happy to be back
- 3:05Speaker 1: in the studio. Happy to be back on these morning devos.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I was like, basically, I wanted to come back so fast.
- 3:13Speaker 1: But I knew that I have to be patient. Patient
- 3:18Speaker 1: with what God is showing me. Patient with what God
- 3:21Speaker 1: is doing in my heart and my life. patient in
- 3:23Speaker 1: what he has for you and what he has for me,
- 3:26Speaker 1: patient with his timing, not my timing, his timing, right?
- 3:31Speaker 1: I have to be available to what God tells me
- 3:34Speaker 1: to do. I have to be willing to honor that position,
- 3:39Speaker 1: honor that word, honor that timing, honor that space that
- 3:42Speaker 1: he has enabled me to honor. Brother John, I see you.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Good morning, my friend and my bro. Yeah, in the word.
- 3:51Speaker 1: If I'm not in the word, I'm not in nothing.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Thank you so much for coming through, my bro, my friend.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So let's go for it. I'm going to go back
- 4:00Speaker 1: to the screen over here, and we're going to get
- 4:03Speaker 1: into our scripture for today. So this is just to
- 4:08Speaker 1: whet your thirst. It's kind of like a snack or
- 4:13Speaker 1: appetizer before a meal. So what the morning Devo is,
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm just going to give us a scripture. We're going
- 4:19Speaker 1: to look at it, and we're going to see what
- 4:20Speaker 1: the word of God has for us. And that little
- 4:23Speaker 1: piece of scripture, amen? And when we get to the
- 4:27Speaker 1: point where we want to go further and deeper, we
- 4:30Speaker 1: could do that too. But because this is a short little,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you know, little snapshot of what God is able to
- 4:39Speaker 1: do with one scripture, can you imagine what he could
- 4:41Speaker 1: do with many more? When we put our time and
- 4:44Speaker 1: focus and energy in what he's doing, right? Trying to
- 4:48Speaker 1: look for my notes here. But when we do what God...
- 4:52Speaker 1: affords us to do, or even enables us to do,
- 4:56Speaker 1: there's a blessing in that. There's such a blessing in that.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Amen? So, as I look for this, let me go here. Amen?
- 5:05Speaker 2: And go here, and let's see if it switches over.
- 5:10Speaker 2: All right, here's the scripture for today.
- 5:12Speaker 1: John chapter 2, verse number 10. Everyone brings out the
- 5:17Speaker 1: fine wine first, and then the cheap wine after. the
- 5:23Speaker 1: guests have had too much to drink. So in other words,
- 5:27Speaker 1: when people, keep it real, if you've ever been to
- 5:31Speaker 1: a wedding reception, that's not really, you know, they're serving alcohol,
- 5:36Speaker 1: they're serving wine. The cheap wine, after the guests have
- 5:41Speaker 1: had too much to drink, they might be drunk at
- 5:43Speaker 1: that point. But you have saved the fine wine until now.
- 5:49Speaker 1: There's a lot here in this verse. I want you
- 5:52Speaker 1: to sit marinate in this verse because, wow, this is
- 5:56Speaker 1: an amazing verse because this is the first recorded miracle of.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Our Lord and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 6:04Speaker 1: At a wedding feast, doing something that he says was
- 6:09Speaker 1: like not really his time to do, but he honored
- 6:13Speaker 1: his mom's request, right, to do a miracle at this event.
- 6:23Speaker 2: A miracle at this event. So he wasn't challenged, right?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Jesus is able to do exactly what he says he
- 6:34Speaker 1: would do according to his purpose and will. Not nothing
- 6:40Speaker 1: that he's unable to do, first and foremost. He can
- 6:46Speaker 1: do whatever he wants to do. So here we go.
- 6:54Speaker 1: What happens when we're expecting something from God and we
- 6:59Speaker 1: don't get it according to how we want to get
- 7:03Speaker 1: it or the timing that we want?
- 7:06Speaker 2: What happens?
- 7:07Speaker 1: To me personally, I get a little anxious. And I
- 7:10Speaker 1: know we're not supposed to get anxious about anything. But
- 7:13Speaker 1: through everything, through prayer and supplication, we're going to make
- 7:17Speaker 1: our requests known to God. And the peace of God
- 7:19Speaker 1: that he supplies us during that waiting period, that you're
- 7:22Speaker 1: waiting for a breakthrough, a miracle, His peace surpasses all understanding.
- 7:28Speaker 1: The world doesn't understand the peace that a brother or
- 7:31Speaker 1: a sister in the Lord has or a son or
- 7:34Speaker 1: a daughter in the Lord has when we trust and
- 7:37Speaker 1: obey God's word in all circumstances. Not just when things
- 7:41Speaker 1: are in a good space, but when things are in
- 7:44Speaker 1: a bad space. Both sides of the coin, we trust Jesus.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So when God saves the best for last, we see
- 7:54Speaker 1: that is going to flip the script because at this wedding,
- 8:00Speaker 1: the ruler, right, the person who was head of this feast,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you know, humanly, because we know the head of every feast,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ, a holy feast, but the head of
- 8:14Speaker 1: this feast, right, said, wow, this is odd, right?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Usually, everyone brings out the fine wine first. Right?
- 8:25Speaker 1: And if you read the background of the chapter, I
- 8:28Speaker 1: can't go through it all. But that was a custom.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So Jesus flipped the script on his first miracle at
- 8:36Speaker 1: a wedding feast. Before his time, he just honored his
- 8:41Speaker 1: mom's request. Then his mom said, do as Jesus says.
- 8:44Speaker 1: And they said, okay, we're going to do what Jesus says.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And he turned all those barrels of water into wine.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But the ruler at the feast said, everyone brings out
- 8:59Speaker 1: the fine wine first, then the cheap wine.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Top shelf first, and then when everybody's feeling a certain way,
- 9:08Speaker 1: then you bring out the other stuff to kind of
- 9:11Speaker 1: like wind people down.
- 9:14Speaker 2: But Jesus flipped it over.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And then the cheap wine after the guests have had
- 9:19Speaker 1: too much to drink, but you have saved the fine
- 9:23Speaker 1: wine until now. So, We see Jesus performed his first
- 9:29Speaker 1: recorded miracle at a wedding in Cana. The wine had
- 9:34Speaker 1: run out, but Jesus wasn't finished. The wine in my
- 9:39Speaker 1: life could run out, but the Lord Jesus would show up.
- 9:43Speaker 1: He's not finished. Your wine might be, at this point,
- 9:49Speaker 1: cheap wine. But when Jesus shows up, right, it's going
- 9:53Speaker 1: to be fine wine. So, It seems like to me
- 9:59Speaker 1: when Jesus does his first miracle, it's already altering people's
- 10:05Speaker 1: understanding of how things supposed to be. People are being
- 10:10Speaker 1: already enlightened by a move of God through the man
- 10:13Speaker 1: of God, through the God man, Jesus the Christ. So
- 10:17Speaker 1: what looked like something that was going to be a shortage,
- 10:20Speaker 1: oh man.
- 10:20Speaker 2: We ran out of wine. There's no more.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You know, this wedding feast was bigger than what we thought.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But there was no problem. That was no problem for
- 10:29Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus. It looked like a shortage, but it
- 10:35Speaker 1: became actually an opportunity for Jesus to reveal his glory.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But if you read the chapters, it's amazing that he
- 10:45Speaker 1: was like, um, This is like before my time, but
- 10:49Speaker 1: he honored his mom anyway.
- 10:51Speaker 2: So the master of the banquet, which is quoted here, right?
- 10:58Speaker 2: The ruler, the master of the banquet was amazed. Why?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Because the best wine had been saved until last. Now
- 11:09Speaker 1: there's so much there, right? For us, as believers in Christ,
- 11:14Speaker 1: I wasn't born and raised in the church. I came
- 11:16Speaker 1: to the Lord at 30 years old. Well, he came
- 11:18Speaker 1: to me, right? Let me humble myself. He found me
- 11:22Speaker 1: where I was. I was lost. He found me at
- 11:25Speaker 1: 30 years old. I called out to him drunk and high.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Some of you know my testimony. So I thought I
- 11:31Speaker 1: had the finest wine at that point, right? I did X, Y, Z,
- 11:36Speaker 1: got the scars, show for it, all that. But then
- 11:41Speaker 1: when Jesus showed up, altered. He flipped my script. He
- 11:45Speaker 1: changed my life, transformed me, renewed me, restored me.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Redeemed me, right?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Satisfied my every desire when he showed up and he
- 11:54Speaker 1: turned this, what I throw as fine wine, into the best.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And the best is yet to come because Jesus is
- 12:02Speaker 1: not finished with me. He's not finished with you. So
- 12:05Speaker 1: the master of the bank was amazed. The best wine
- 12:08Speaker 1: had been saved until last. So don't assume that That
- 12:12Speaker 1: because something in your life and something in my life
- 12:16Speaker 1: is not.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Where we think it should be. Or it hasn't happened yet. Right?
- 12:23Speaker 1: You have promises from God that might not have happened yet.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I have promises from God 100% that have not happened yet.
- 12:30Speaker 1: But God has not forgotten about his promise over you.
- 12:34Speaker 1: God has not forgotten about his promise over me.
- 12:37Speaker 2: You can believe that. Sometimes God allows us to reach
- 12:42Speaker 2: these certain points in life.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I know he does this to me a lot and
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'm still not used to it, even though I understand
- 12:49Speaker 1: God a little bit more, just a little bit more
- 12:52Speaker 1: than when I did when I first got saved. But
- 12:57Speaker 1: it depends on the situation. Sometimes God allows you to
- 13:01Speaker 1: reach the end of your resources, right?
- 13:04Speaker 2: And my resources.
- 13:06Speaker 1: So we can discover the beginning of his resources. So
- 13:11Speaker 1: sometimes when we find ourselves powerless and we start admitting
- 13:17Speaker 1: to God, listen, I'm weak, then he shows up with
- 13:21Speaker 1: his power.
- 13:23Speaker 2: When we think that we're at the top.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Of the mountain and we're being served the best wine
- 13:28Speaker 1: and Jesus shows up and there's more to it. So
- 13:33Speaker 1: God's timing isn't our timing. Thank you, Jesus, right? How
- 13:39Speaker 1: many hundreds of times have I thought, oh, this is
- 13:43Speaker 1: the time, this is the place, it's ghost season right now.
- 13:47Speaker 2: And then Jesus says, no, it's not. Not for you,
- 13:50Speaker 2: at least.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And then you see people seemingly advancing, running right past
- 13:55Speaker 1: a situation or an opportunity, and they get it. So
- 13:59Speaker 1: then I go, so I put my head down and
- 14:01Speaker 1: start crying and complaining, no. I'll be like, all right, Lord,
- 14:04Speaker 1: you know what's best for me. You know what's best
- 14:06Speaker 1: for my family. You know what's best for my ministry.
- 14:09Speaker 1: which is actually his ministry. You know what's best for
- 14:11Speaker 1: my church, which is actually his church, right? You know
- 14:15Speaker 1: what's best for my kids, which are actually his kids.
- 14:18Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 14:19Speaker 1: So I humble myself and I'll be like, okay, God's
- 14:21Speaker 1: timing isn't my timing. And that's a good thing because
- 14:26Speaker 1: I get it wrong a lot.
- 14:27Speaker 2: What about you? But God is 100% accurate.
- 14:31Speaker 1: His position, his transformational power, his word, his actions, his deeds,
- 14:38Speaker 1: his promises, his decisions are final.
- 14:42Speaker 2: But they're the best decisions that we could ever go by.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Sometimes God allows us to reach the end of our
- 14:48Speaker 1: resources so we can discover the beginning of his resources,
- 14:53Speaker 1: his power, his glory, his might, right?
- 14:58Speaker 2: All of it, right?
- 15:00Speaker 1: We have the opportunity to experience what God has for
- 15:03Speaker 1: us on this side of eternity, Because we already know
- 15:06Speaker 1: the promises of God on the other side of eternity
- 15:09Speaker 1: are going to be way more than we could ever
- 15:13Speaker 1: think or imagine. We have not even tasted and seen
- 15:18Speaker 1: the greatness of.
- 15:19Speaker 2: His glory yet. Right?
- 15:21Speaker 1: We're going to experience that for all eternity. But on
- 15:24Speaker 1: this side of eternity, let's get busy. Let's do the
- 15:26Speaker 1: works of God that he hands us to do. Preach
- 15:30Speaker 1: the gospel.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Right? Pastor Michael Jakes, good morning. God bless you. Your
- 15:36Speaker 2: best chapter is not really behind you. Think about it.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Your best resources are probably not really behind you. They're
- 15:44Speaker 2: in front of you. Right? God's putting out his hand.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I'm putting out my hand, reaching to him, holding on,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and the best chapter is yet to come.
- 15:55Speaker 2: So your greatest testimony might still be ahead of you.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And praise God if you have a lot of accolades
- 16:04Speaker 1: in Ministry, that's amazing.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Glory to God. In your church, glory to God. God
- 16:12Speaker 2: has used you for extraordinary things. Praise the Lord. But
- 16:17Speaker 2: it's okay, not arrogantly, of course, but humbly to hold
- 16:22Speaker 2: on to God and expect more. Why?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Because God never runs out. The Lord Jesus never runs
- 16:30Speaker 1: out of wine. He never runs out of miracles. He
- 16:33Speaker 1: never runs out of healing. He never runs out of
- 16:35Speaker 1: his promises. He never runs out of anything. He's all-sufficient, almighty.
- 16:40Speaker 1: He has everything we need, everything we could imagine that
- 16:44Speaker 1: we need. Sometimes I pray these prayers like, Lord, you
- 16:48Speaker 1: know what I need. And I feel Holy Spirit of
- 16:51Speaker 1: God say, well, just tell me what you need.
- 16:55Speaker 2: He knows, right?
- 16:57Speaker 1: So it's almost like I play these semantics sometimes and
- 17:01Speaker 1: pray with the Lord, and he's so humble and gracious
- 17:04Speaker 1: upon my life.
- 17:06Speaker 2: And merciful, that he'll listen.
- 17:09Speaker 1: But then the Holy Spirit is like, can you just
- 17:12Speaker 1: come out with it and ask the Lord Jesus, ask
- 17:15Speaker 1: your Father in heaven for what you need, even though
- 17:18Speaker 1: he knows it already? So that way we can experience,
- 17:23Speaker 1: because this is a relational thing, right? We can experience
- 17:26Speaker 1: his mighty works, and we know 100% sure that it's
- 17:30Speaker 1: only because of God that XYZ has happened. So it's
- 17:34Speaker 1: a good thing to pray honest prayers. Your breakthrough might
- 17:39Speaker 1: be closer than what you think. When I took the
- 17:41Speaker 1: time off from podcasting on March 4th, which was my
- 17:46Speaker 1: last one before I came back yesterday, the time of
- 17:51Speaker 1: this recording, I was really missing you guys. I was
- 17:54Speaker 1: missing doing this. I was missing a lot of things,
- 17:58Speaker 1: but I had to stay focused. I had to stay focused.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I had to remind myself of the greatness and goodness
- 18:05Speaker 1: of God. I had to plant myself somewhere where people
- 18:11Speaker 1: are preaching the word of God, honoring the word of God,
- 18:15Speaker 1: applying the word of God, and reaching to people.
- 18:20Speaker 2: That's my heart. But here we are now, right?
- 18:24Speaker 1: Looking at Jesus' first miracle at a wedding in Cana
- 18:29Speaker 1: and realizing that at that point in the customs of
- 18:34Speaker 1: where Jesus was, he flipped the script on the people,
- 18:40Speaker 1: thinking that the best should come out first, but the
- 18:45Speaker 1: way Jesus did, the best came out last.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Is he telling me something? Is he telling you something
- 18:49Speaker 2: today with this message, with this morning devotion? Keep trusting, right?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Keep praying, absolutely. You know me, if you.
- 19:02Speaker 1: If you know my personality, you know, I said this
- 19:07Speaker 1: probably hundreds of times. When people say, oh, all we
- 19:10Speaker 1: could do is pray. That's not all you could do.
- 19:13Speaker 1: That's the first thing we should be doing is praying.
- 19:16Speaker 1: But trust God. Pray to the God who you trust.
- 19:20Speaker 1: And keep doing it. Keep believing. Because there's a lot
- 19:24Speaker 1: of people that say, oh, I believe in the Lord.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Believe and follow. I had to learn that, right? Not
- 19:34Speaker 1: only just believe, but believe and follow. So keep trusting,
- 19:39Speaker 1: keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking with Jesus, the
- 19:43Speaker 1: one who can turn your water and my water into wine, right?
- 19:48Speaker 1: And he'll save the best. not for the first, but
- 19:51Speaker 1: he'll save the best for last. And it reminds me
- 19:55Speaker 1: of the scripture, the last will be first and the
- 19:58Speaker 1: first shall be last, along those.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Lines, right? At least that's what I'm hearing. You might
- 20:04Speaker 2: be hearing something totally. That's the beautiful thing about having
- 20:07Speaker 2: a morning devotion, setting some time apart, in God's word,
- 20:10Speaker 2: you'll get a revelation, I'll get a revelation, we can
- 20:12Speaker 2: share these revelations, and God will continue to speak to
- 20:16Speaker 2: us individually, corporately.
- 20:18Speaker 1: It's amazing. We serve an amazing, holy, righteous, loving, all-knowing,
- 20:25Speaker 1: omnipresent God who knows our every single detail and still
- 20:30Speaker 1: loves us. Who knows our every single thought and still
- 20:33Speaker 1: loves us beyond that. So, don't give up. Of what
- 20:39Speaker 1: you're waiting for. It could be your waiting season. A
- 20:42Speaker 1: brother in Christ of mine started his business. It's his
- 20:44Speaker 1: go season. Everybody's in different seasons right now, right? He
- 20:49Speaker 1: opened up his business that he's been in the background
- 20:53Speaker 1: handling before his retirement from his normal job.
- 20:57Speaker 2: And now it's go season. And we celebrate him, right?
- 21:01Speaker 2: I celebrate him.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Noel Gandia. God bless you, my brother, and your endeavor.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But listen, he waited. He prepared while he was waiting.
- 21:11Speaker 1: And I think that's the message that in this first miracle,
- 21:15Speaker 1: one of the messages I'm receiving from this, from the
- 21:19Speaker 1: ruler of the banquet, the guy who was over the
- 21:22Speaker 1: banquet when he saw and tasted the wine, he was like, wow,
- 21:28Speaker 1: you saved the fine wine until now?
- 21:32Speaker 2: And that's the exclamation point. He was impressed. God would
- 21:38Speaker 2: not impress us Like he always impresses me. When you
- 21:43Speaker 2: say you're in Christ, you know what impresses me? Not
- 21:46Speaker 2: if you have a mega church, not if you're a
- 21:48Speaker 2: pastor or evangelist, apostle, right?
- 21:51Speaker 1: Pastor, teacher, or anything like that. You know what impresses me?
- 21:55Speaker 1: When God's working through you and when God's working through me.
- 21:59Speaker 1: That's very impressive. But when God shows up and performs
- 22:03Speaker 1: a miracle at a wedding and then flips the culture,
- 22:08Speaker 1: everybody noticed. or at least this ruler noticed, and he
- 22:11Speaker 1: was telling people, wow, this is amazing.
- 22:14Speaker 2: God's amazing.
- 22:16Speaker 1: God might just very well be preparing you and me
- 22:21Speaker 1: for the best season of our lives.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Could it be?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Because I know the God that I serve, he doesn't like, oh,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know, I gave you the best already, so now
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm going to just give you the cheap stuff. I
- 22:34Speaker 1: gave you my best already, now I'm going to just
- 22:35Speaker 1: give you the scraps. I gave you abundance, now I'm
- 22:38Speaker 1: going to slow it down. No, that's not the God
- 22:40Speaker 1: that we serve. The God that we serve takes us
- 22:43Speaker 1: from glory to glory to glory.
- 22:46Speaker 2: The steps of the righteous, the Bible says, are ordered.
- 22:50Speaker 2: And it's a forward motion. Right? I have yet to
- 22:53Speaker 2: see a scripture. I might be wrong, you know.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But in my findings, I have yet to see a
- 22:59Speaker 1: scripture that says that Jesus or God, Yahweh the Father,
- 23:03Speaker 1: or Holy Spirit, Ruach Elohim, pushes you backwards. and says, okay,
- 23:08Speaker 1: start all over again, because I don't like what you did,
- 23:11Speaker 1: and you did this wrong, you did that wrong, so
- 23:13Speaker 1: now you got to start from ground zero.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I haven't seen it. People have gone through that, through
- 23:19Speaker 2: the scriptures.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Have started from rock bottom, or have been in a
- 23:23Speaker 1: high place, and God had to humble them, but God himself,
- 23:28Speaker 1: from what I find in the scriptures, I could be wrong,
- 23:30Speaker 1: you could correct me, I'm not a fool, I'm ready
- 23:33Speaker 1: to be corrected, but From what I've seen in scriptures,
- 23:36Speaker 1: it's always a forward motion. We're moving towards Jesus. We're
- 23:41Speaker 1: going forward towards glory. We have a heaven that's going
- 23:46Speaker 1: to be our home soon. But we have heaven on
- 23:49Speaker 1: earth living inside of us by way of Holy Spirit. So,
- 23:54Speaker 1: John chapter 2, verse 10. Mind you, this is the
- 23:56Speaker 1: BSB version, Berean Study Bible.
- 23:58Speaker 2: That's what I'm reading out of most of the time. So,
- 24:01Speaker 2: we know that the Father.
- 24:04Speaker 1: will help us in his timing, right? When you feel
- 24:09Speaker 1: like you ran out of answers, Jesus is the answer.
- 24:13Speaker 1: When you're running out of resources and you're feeling that,
- 24:16Speaker 1: Jesus is our resource.
- 24:18Speaker 2: When you feel hopeless, Jesus is our hope. So we
- 24:21Speaker 2: could be reminded that although we might not see it
- 24:24Speaker 2: all the time, we might not feel it all the time,
- 24:26Speaker 2: but the Lord Jesus is still working, right?
- 24:29Speaker 1: So Through that waiting process, through whatever you're going through,
- 24:32Speaker 1: whatever you're going through, that waiting process, that season of
- 24:35Speaker 1: just waiting on God's timing, that's going to make our
- 24:41Speaker 1: patience grow. It's going to develop more patience in us.
- 24:45Speaker 1: We're going to wait, and we're going to wait in faith,
- 24:47Speaker 1: not wait in unbelief, not wait in discouragement. We're going
- 24:50Speaker 1: to wait in faith. We're going to believe, and we're
- 24:53Speaker 1: going to know that Jesus, our Lord, will save the
- 24:57Speaker 1: best for last. We know this to be true through
- 25:00Speaker 1: his scripture. We know this to be true because of
- 25:02Speaker 1: who Jesus is. We've seen him do what he did
- 25:06Speaker 1: through the scriptures and the gospels. And people remind us
- 25:09Speaker 1: all the time through their own testimonies that Jesus shows
- 25:12Speaker 1: up at the perfect time. He's willing, he's able, and
- 25:17Speaker 1: he's ready. Are you willing, able, and ready? I hope
- 25:20Speaker 1: you get something out of this. Share this out to
- 25:22Speaker 1: as many people as possible. Make sure you stay tuned in.
- 25:25Speaker 1: So winners with a Z.org.
- 25:26Speaker 2: We're going to be live.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Until 10 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. It's an amazing time.
- 25:33Speaker 1: And it's your season, it's my season to just trust, wait,
- 25:37Speaker 1: and know that Jesus saves the best for last, right,
- 25:40Speaker 1: in our lives. God bless you all. God keep you all.
- 25:44Speaker 1: And remember always that God, God is good. He's magnificent
- 25:49Speaker 1: at everything that he does. He's magnificent at everything that he.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Said he would do. Amen. And he's just a glorious, mighty,
- 25:56Speaker 2: faithful God. God bless you. Amen.
