- 0:09Speaker 1: Vie. It's welcome to the Naughty but niceha. I'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Rob Shooter. It's a Monday morning. Garrett's off today for
- 0:20Speaker 1: the holiday, so it's just us naughties. But don't worry here,
- 0:23Speaker 1: we've got a ton of gossip to get to. Before
- 0:26Speaker 1: we jump into the gossip, let me just say thank you,
- 0:29Speaker 1: thank you to Bread's Bakery. I love Bread's Bakery. You know,
- 0:33Speaker 1: it's my favorite bakery in New York. Or They've created
- 0:37Speaker 1: the ultimate tea time treat. It's the reality cake. It's
- 0:42Speaker 1: an earl gray infused loaf and it's absolutely delicious. I
- 0:48Speaker 1: was a bit suspicious they sent me one. They sent
- 0:50Speaker 1: me to Thank You Anna Chocolate Bobka. Oh my goodness,
- 0:55Speaker 1: this bakery. It's out of control fabulous. And so their
- 0:58Speaker 1: new cake is an all gray like an earl gray
- 1:02Speaker 1: tea infused loaf. It doesn't sound great, does it. At first,
- 1:06Speaker 1: I was like, oh, this could be a bit weird.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Delicious breads. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We love
- 1:13Speaker 1: a bit of cake, a bit of bread with aunt
- 1:15Speaker 1: tea time. Let's jump in. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:17Speaker 1: It really is tea time? Get your cake ready? Okay,
- 1:20Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show. So over
- 1:22Speaker 1: the weekend. On Friday, Vanity Fair dropped this bombshell report
- 1:27Speaker 1: on Harry and Meghan. It's a cover story. It's about
- 1:31Speaker 1: nine thousand words, which will take you about an hour
- 1:34Speaker 1: to read. It's sort of like three four chapters of
- 1:37Speaker 1: a novel. It's outrageous. Some of the stuff in it
- 1:42Speaker 1: really surprised me. We think we know everything about this couple.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Some of it I think we've heard before, and it
- 1:48Speaker 1: feels like going over familiar grand but a lot of
- 1:51Speaker 1: it is really new and really shocking. So first and off.
- 1:55Speaker 1: First off, they are saying that Meghan has been branded
- 1:59Speaker 1: cold and with holding, and they spoke to staff members
- 2:02Speaker 1: who said it was an awful place to work, a
- 2:05Speaker 1: really awful environment. Almost Ellen like her Sawce said the
- 2:09Speaker 1: following quote. When you are not in, you are to
- 2:13Speaker 1: be thrown to the wolves at any given moment. The
- 2:17Speaker 1: source added that when you first meet Meghan, she's warm
- 2:20Speaker 1: and effusive, really almost too warm. But then when you
- 2:25Speaker 1: start working together, there's a shift and it becomes more critical,
- 2:29Speaker 1: and she undermines her staff by gossiping, by talking behind
- 2:34Speaker 1: their back. They went on to say, it's like mean
- 2:37Speaker 1: girls teenage behavior, and it really can be upsetting. All
- 2:41Speaker 1: the gossip and the backhanded comments. Now, if you remember
- 2:45Speaker 1: to Meghan has made it very clear that she was
- 2:48Speaker 1: never ever asked by the Palace to sign a non
- 2:50Speaker 1: disclosure She can talk about anything she wants. She chooses
- 2:54Speaker 1: not to reveal a lot of stuff, but she also
- 2:57Speaker 1: can do whatever she wants. Now, staffers are like, that's
- 2:59Speaker 1: not fair because we all had to sign non disclosure agreements.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now I knew this. There is a non disclosure agreement.
- 3:07Speaker 1: People I know who have gone to work for Megan
- 3:10Speaker 1: or Harry or the Royals often sign non disclosure agreements.
- 3:14Speaker 1: They do that for celebrities too, So if you work
- 3:16Speaker 1: for Brad Peter, Angelina Jolie, you're gonna be asked to
- 3:19Speaker 1: sign a non disclosure agreement. So I don't think that's
- 3:22Speaker 1: such a bombshell Megan being difficult. This is complicated, isn't it.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So it feels like we're piling on here, and we
- 3:28Speaker 1: certainly wouldn't call a man difficult if he was as
- 3:31Speaker 1: demanding as Meghan. Other people I've spoken to say she
- 3:35Speaker 1: knows what she wants, she is not afraid to speak up,
- 3:40Speaker 1: that she very much is the boss. Can she sometimes
- 3:43Speaker 1: be a little bit too direct, Yes, but that's her way.
- 3:47Speaker 1: That doesn't make her the B word, that doesn't make
- 3:50Speaker 1: her an awful person. And so I think here it's
- 3:53Speaker 1: a little bit of a double standard. We've heard these
- 3:56Speaker 1: rumors before about the awful work place. They say, it's
- 4:01Speaker 1: really really painful that she's playing checkers, not even chess,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and she's very aware. This is interesting. She's we're very
- 4:07Speaker 1: aware of where everybody is on her board. When you
- 4:12Speaker 1: are not in, you're to be thrown to the wolves.
- 4:16Speaker 1: This is something that's happened in my career. I've met
- 4:19Speaker 1: people who really really want to be my best friend,
- 4:22Speaker 1: who are so over the top enthusiastic, and then as
- 4:25Speaker 1: the relationship goes on, they punish you by withdrawing. Does
- 4:28Speaker 1: this happen It might not just be at work, It
- 4:30Speaker 1: might be in your personal life. I think it can
- 4:32Speaker 1: be really really cruel to withdraw. If you upset me,
- 4:36Speaker 1: I don't I shoot out, I don't ignore you, don't
- 4:40Speaker 1: pretend that I didn't see that text or email. No,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I tell you, hopefully in a kind way. But if
- 4:45Speaker 1: you hurt my feelings, I let you know. Gosh, that
- 4:48Speaker 1: really really hurt and can we talk about it? So
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm quite good at talking about this. Megan's not. She
- 4:53Speaker 1: doesn't want these confrontations and she punishes people. That's her style.
- 4:57Speaker 1: A lot of us do it. It's not just Meghan.
- 5:00Speaker 1: What do you do? Do you tell people when they
- 5:02Speaker 1: upset you? Or do you withdraw? What do you do?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Meghan withdraws? Now? I think the most explosive explosive thing
- 5:10Speaker 1: about this really long article is that they claim Meghan's
- 5:14Speaker 1: team were reportedly shopping around a quote post divorce book
- 5:20Speaker 1: about life without Prince Harry. So Meghan's team reportedly floated
- 5:26Speaker 1: the idea of a book about her post divorce from Harry,
- 5:30Speaker 1: despite the fact that the couple is very much together.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Even Vanity Fair, even this expose, they could not find
- 5:37Speaker 1: one person that said they do not love each other.
- 5:39Speaker 1: They totally totally are in love, almost uncomfortably, sir. You know,
- 5:42Speaker 1: sometimes when you're out and a couple's holding hands or
- 5:45Speaker 1: kissing you, you're sort of like, I'm here, hello, They're
- 5:49Speaker 1: a little bit like that. Well, apparently, representatives for the Duchess,
- 5:52Speaker 1: not him for her, allegedly approached an unnamed publisher a
- 5:57Speaker 1: gauge interest to gauge inst in a hypothetical memoir. A
- 6:04Speaker 1: source claimed that the book would focus on Meghan's life
- 6:07Speaker 1: after a potential split from Harry, not her first husband.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Members she's been married before. Trevor Engelson was her first
- 6:16Speaker 1: husband she divorced. They got divorced in twenty fourteen. This
- 6:20Speaker 1: book was not about what it's like to go through
- 6:23Speaker 1: a divorce and then find love again. No, this book
- 6:26Speaker 1: was specifically about if she breaks up with Harry, what
- 6:30Speaker 1: is her life like? And do you want this book?
- 6:33Speaker 1: And how much would a book like that be worth.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Let's remember and I think where this story is at
- 6:38Speaker 1: its best, it's not when it talks about is she
- 6:41Speaker 1: a mean girl? Is she a nice girl? But when
- 6:43Speaker 1: it really gives you details, this is a specific detail.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Now some people are saying that isn't quite how it happened.
- 6:50Speaker 1: There were there was some talk about a divorce book.
- 6:54Speaker 1: But publishers approached Meghan. She did not approach anybody. Her
- 6:57Speaker 1: people didn't approach anybody. But when it looked as if
- 6:59Speaker 1: they relationship was at a little bit wobbly, publishers were like, wow,
- 7:03Speaker 1: this would be a huge book. It's also unclear if
- 7:06Speaker 1: Meghan knew about this, this might have been her business people.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I know so many big celebrities who just have terrible managers,
- 7:13Speaker 1: really really bad managers. And when that managers a relative,
- 7:17Speaker 1: a family member, Oh, what are you going to do
- 7:20Speaker 1: if you know that someone's representatives are just the worst,
- 7:24Speaker 1: what do you do, particularly if it's a family member.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And so I'm hearing here, I hit the phones and
- 7:31Speaker 1: my sources said Meghan had no idea this was going on.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Now Meghan has to earn money. I think one of
- 7:37Speaker 1: the most interesting things about the huge story for me
- 7:41Speaker 1: is that they need to make a living. They don't
- 7:43Speaker 1: have royal money anymore. They're not supported by the taxpayer,
- 7:47Speaker 1: they are not supported by King Charles. They have to
- 7:50Speaker 1: make their money and they're accustomed to living, or at
- 7:53Speaker 1: least he is in a very very very very very
- 7:56Speaker 1: elite way, a very privileged way. I mean, this is
- 7:58Speaker 1: a little boy who grew up in a palace. This
- 8:01Speaker 1: is a little boy who when people growing men would
- 8:04Speaker 1: have to bow to him. As a little boy's entire life,
- 8:07Speaker 1: people have been bowing to him. And that's got to
- 8:10Speaker 1: do something to your head. So they talked about they
- 8:13Speaker 1: have to earn money. And this was the most devastating
- 8:17Speaker 1: sentence that I took away from this extraordinary reporting is
- 8:22Speaker 1: what makes them interesting is what they are running away
- 8:27Speaker 1: from the only reason we find this couple so interesting
- 8:32Speaker 1: is because they were part of the British royal family.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Now they claim they want no part of that anymore. Well,
- 8:40Speaker 1: if you take away the royal they just become Harry
- 8:43Speaker 1: and Meghan. If you take away their experience inside the
- 8:47Speaker 1: palace with this family, this extraordinary position life that they
- 8:51Speaker 1: both live. What is there, a source told Vanity Fair.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Outside of playing polo, I don't know who Harry is.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I know what his interests are. I don't know if
- 9:02Speaker 1: he's funny, if he's grumpy, if he's nice, if he's mean.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I don't know anything about him. All I know is
- 9:07Speaker 1: he likes to play polo and occasionally go to a
- 9:10Speaker 1: charity and kiss some babies. Now Meghan, they said, she
- 9:13Speaker 1: knows who she is and fame is very important to Meghan,
- 9:16Speaker 1: and she sees fame as power. And that's true, that
- 9:20Speaker 1: is very very true. A lot of celebrities who are
- 9:22Speaker 1: famous have an enormous amount of power, and then Megan
- 9:25Speaker 1: wants to use that power. Let's give her the benefit
- 9:27Speaker 1: of the doubt here wants to use that power for good.
- 9:31Speaker 1: People say that, however, the problem she seems to have.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They seem to have is how to harness this power.
- 9:36Speaker 1: They're very young executives who have never ran a company before,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and they don't have this experience, and so they want
- 9:43Speaker 1: to be in charge. They want to do things their way. However,
- 9:46Speaker 1: it's not really working out. So I think their motivations
- 9:49Speaker 1: are good here. I do think they want a better world.
- 9:51Speaker 1: They just don't know how to implement it. And you know,
- 9:55Speaker 1: it's the implementation that turns the dream into reality. I
- 9:59Speaker 1: wish which they hired better people. I wish they trusted
- 10:02Speaker 1: people around them more, because with their celebrity, with their passion,
- 10:07Speaker 1: with their fame, they really could make a huge difference.
- 10:10Speaker 1: This brings us to our whole question of the day.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So it is reported in Vanity Fair on a new
- 10:17Speaker 1: cover story that Meghan Marcus team reportedly shopped a post
- 10:22Speaker 1: divorce book around about her life without Prince Harry. Do
- 10:27Speaker 1: you believe it? Do you think this happened. I'm not
- 10:30Speaker 1: saying Meghan did it. Be very careful here. What I'm
- 10:33Speaker 1: asking is her team did it? Do you think it happened?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yes or no? Hager Vote on Octwardy page add naughteen
- 10:40Speaker 1: nice rob Our Facebook pages nating gusimb I'm sure to
- 10:43Speaker 1: check back to morrow. Tahiit your results? Okay? Moving along.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Justin Baldoni from It Ends with Us claims that his
- 10:49Speaker 1: family were held in a basement while Blake Lively, her
- 10:53Speaker 1: husband Ryan, their friends, and her family walks the red carpet.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So Justin is alleging that he was ushered into a
- 10:59Speaker 1: windowless room alongside his family and friends to avoid any
- 11:03Speaker 1: interaction with Blake Lively at the premiere. So photos from
- 11:07Speaker 1: the night showed Justin smiling with his loved ones, surrounded
- 11:11Speaker 1: by palettes of water and folding chairs. He's clearly in abasement.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now cut to photographs of Blake and Ryan smiling, walking
- 11:19Speaker 1: the red carpet, being treated like stars, like royalty, and
- 11:22Speaker 1: he's sitting on a folding chair. His legal filings post
- 11:27Speaker 1: a painter really really vivid picture quote surrounded by close friends,
- 11:31Speaker 1: soda bottles, and concession stock. The irony of being held
- 11:35Speaker 1: in a basement on one of the most important nights
- 11:38Speaker 1: of Justin's life is not lost on anyone. He goes
- 11:41Speaker 1: on to say that he was forced to throw his
- 11:43Speaker 1: own after party. He wasn't allowed to the after party.
- 11:46Speaker 1: He was not only the star, the director, and the producer,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and he had the rights to the book. He was
- 11:50Speaker 1: told no, no, no, Blake doesn't want you at the party,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and so he was forced to cover the costs to
- 11:55Speaker 1: do two events. A big party for Blake which he
- 11:58Speaker 1: paid for as the producer and he was on a
- 11:59Speaker 1: lad too, and also a party for him and his family.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Can you imagine taking your mom and dad to one
- 12:05Speaker 1: of the biggest nights of your life, something you should
- 12:07Speaker 1: be so proud of, and you're told you're gonna have
- 12:09Speaker 1: to wait in a basement because Blake Lively doesn't want
- 12:12Speaker 1: to see you on the red carpet ouch. Gosh, this
- 12:15Speaker 1: story is going to get more and more ugly, more
- 12:19Speaker 1: and more real. I think you two should settle this.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Listen to your friend Raba loa loolo. You were both
- 12:25Speaker 1: going to end up destroying one another. Okay, moving along
- 12:29Speaker 1: some good news. Katie Perry is gushing over Taylor Swift,
- 12:33Speaker 1: saying I love her so much. So if you remember
- 12:35Speaker 1: these two had a huge falling out they fell out
- 12:39Speaker 1: in I think it was twenty nineteen, and it's a
- 12:42Speaker 1: long standing feward. They got into a fight over backup dancers,
- 12:47Speaker 1: over trying to put each other down. Well, they made up.
- 12:50Speaker 1: They squashed the feud in twenty nineteen when Perry Katy
- 12:54Speaker 1: Perry made a cameo in Taylor Swift's You Need to
- 12:57Speaker 1: Calm Down music video. So I'm glad that their friends again. Wow.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Katie went to see Taylor in Australia last February when
- 13:04Speaker 1: she was on tour, the Eras Tour, and she said,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I was like, hey girl, I'm coming to see your show.
- 13:09Speaker 1: So she texted her, she emailed her, she went backstage,
- 13:12Speaker 1: she took her selfie. She posted the picture and she
- 13:14Speaker 1: said it was absolutely amazing. She's so proud of her
- 13:19Speaker 1: and I love her so much. I love that we
- 13:20Speaker 1: can move on. Just because you fall out with somebody,
- 13:23Speaker 1: it doesn't have to last forever. You have the power
- 13:27Speaker 1: to decide when you move on. Talking of moving on,
- 13:31Speaker 1: the free Wendy, the hashtag Free Wendy is gaining momentum
- 13:35Speaker 1: as her family is seeking legal representation to fight this guardianship.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So Whndy's family is taking action to claim that the
- 13:44Speaker 1: former TV show should be independent. They are speaking with
- 13:50Speaker 1: respected and honest attorneys to represent her in this ongoing
- 13:54Speaker 1: guardian battle. Whend has done a ton of interviews. I
- 13:58Speaker 1: know several people who have spoken to her recently, and
- 14:00Speaker 1: they said, Wendy's back. It's the old Wendy. She's rested,
- 14:03Speaker 1: she's not drinking, she's in good shape. Does she still
- 14:07Speaker 1: suffer from dementia? Her conservatorship said, yes, but it's much much, much,
- 14:11Speaker 1: much better place than what it was just six months ago.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And so now is the time for Wendy to take
- 14:19Speaker 1: back her dignity, to take over controls of her life.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Free Wendy. Okay, quickly, before we get a break. Kim
- 14:26Speaker 1: Kardashian is teasing Little Devil that she has a secret
- 14:30Speaker 1: of romance. I told you about this first. So Kim
- 14:33Speaker 1: said she'd given updating. Don't believe it. My sources tell
- 14:36Speaker 1: me she's been dating a few guys for a while.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Nothing serious, businessmen, not actors, not people in the business.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Don't worry. It's not Pete Davidson again, it's not Kanye No, no, no,
- 14:47Speaker 1: these are a little older. Even Mindside has telling me
- 14:50Speaker 1: she's met a few men just a little bit older
- 14:52Speaker 1: than her, very very settled businessmen. And she says she
- 14:56Speaker 1: has no intention of staying single. She wants to find
- 15:01Speaker 1: love again. And she said to her family that she
- 15:05Speaker 1: was fully lying, lying, not misrepresenting. Sometimes it's hard to
- 15:10Speaker 1: say that word, I lie it. She is fully fully
- 15:14Speaker 1: admitting that she lied when she said she never ever
- 15:17Speaker 1: wanted to find love again. Good for you, Kim, love
- 15:20Speaker 1: love love. Oh, I love love, his love, his love,
- 15:22Speaker 1: his love is love. Okay, we're gonna take a quick
- 15:24Speaker 1: break and we'll be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:28Speaker 1: Naughty but I showing your house from shooter. Hey, let's
- 15:30Speaker 1: get to the polls, DA DA DA. Last show, we
- 15:33Speaker 1: talked about Justin Baldone dropping a four hundred million dollar
- 15:36Speaker 1: lawsuit on Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. Are
- 15:40Speaker 1: you team Blake or are you team Justin? Oh, well,
- 15:44Speaker 1: there's been a shift here in opinion. Fifty to fifty
- 15:47Speaker 1: two weeks ago. You were team Blake when Blake first
- 15:51Speaker 1: filed her lawsuit and alleged sexual harassment. We were on
- 15:56Speaker 1: Blake's side, almost almost all of us. Well, now now
- 16:01Speaker 1: that Justin has responded and proved provided receipts these photographs
- 16:06Speaker 1: of Justin in the basement with his family, with his
- 16:09Speaker 1: mom and his dad. Oh, it's heartbreaking. It's absolutely heartbreaking.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Now it's fifty fifty. Hey, don't forget to vote on
- 16:16Speaker 1: today's pole good. Our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
- 16:20Speaker 1: a Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to
- 16:23Speaker 1: check back Tammar Rould to hear your results. And now
- 16:27Speaker 1: it's time for our nicest of the day. And nicest
- 16:30Speaker 1: of the day is Travis Kelsey for channeling Taylor Swift
- 16:34Speaker 1: and an adorable postgame tribute after his win. So when
- 16:38Speaker 1: a reporter asked Travis if he was feeling twenty five
- 16:42Speaker 1: again after the team's big win, he equipped, He looked around,
- 16:47Speaker 1: he grinned, and equipped twenty two Baby twenty two. The
- 16:51Speaker 1: reference is to Taylor's hit song twenty two from her
- 16:56Speaker 1: Red album. It did not go unnoticed by the Swiftest
- 16:59Speaker 1: who who went crazy on x saying he's down bad.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Definitely a swifty and oh my god, I love that
- 17:09Speaker 1: twenty two baby. Hey, let's do adur naughties of the day, Naughty, naughty, naughty,
- 17:14Speaker 1: Spencer Pratt and Hiding Montag Remember those there were their
- 17:17Speaker 1: original Villains on the Hill when Reality TVs was just
- 17:21Speaker 1: starting out, The Hills not the Hill. The Hills was
- 17:23Speaker 1: a huge show and these two were sort of the
- 17:25Speaker 1: villains on it. They were really fun to watch. Well, now,
- 17:28Speaker 1: goodness gracious, what's going on in La Their house has gone,
- 17:31Speaker 1: it has burned down, it has gone, and they're raising money.
- 17:34Speaker 1: They have a GoFundMe page. I think it's doing a
- 17:36Speaker 1: little over one hundred thousand. She's putting out new music,
- 17:40Speaker 1: they're putting out a new video. They're really hustling. They're
- 17:42Speaker 1: raising money on TikTok. But there's a lot of backlash
- 17:46Speaker 1: about this, saying they are using this moment. They are
- 17:49Speaker 1: using this moment to make themselves famous again. What do
- 17:54Speaker 1: you think about this? They're in a difficult position because
- 17:57Speaker 1: it does come across as thirsty. It feels very real
- 18:00Speaker 1: wives that this is a disaster and we're going to
- 18:02Speaker 1: use it to make ourselves famous. Sometimes I feel like
- 18:06Speaker 1: that when celebrities put out big songs and the money
- 18:09Speaker 1: doesn't always go to the charity, but it makes them
- 18:12Speaker 1: makes them famous again. So I'm a little bit suspicious
- 18:15Speaker 1: of it. It's a very fine line. This moment in
- 18:19Speaker 1: this moment. We want to help, We want to help
- 18:22Speaker 1: people that are victims to this terrible disaster. But at
- 18:27Speaker 1: the same time, I'm not sure it's the moment for
