- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Through the lens of self-friendship,
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: embracing,
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: and enjoying ourselves,
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: I hopefully inspire you to critically think,
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: creatively think,
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: and optimistically approach life.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Imagine this,
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: you hopped on the band rocket,
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: and now you're on Planet Butter,
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: a world made of delicious,
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: sparkly peanut butter,
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: and an adorable disco ball of self-reflection is whirling around in her
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: transforming convertible.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Thanks for joining me in my 42nd episode.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Some of what I'll be sharing includes my answer to last week's question of the week,
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: a planet butter breakdown,
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: projection in action,
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: subconscious safety nets,
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: a perspective dance with our highest selves,
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: a blunt fact to remember.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: a note on inside jokes,
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: and a brand new question at the end for all of us to self-reflect and self-connect.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: And email me if you desire.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: SelfFriendshipPodcast at gmail.com.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: My answer to last week's question of the week, which was, what type of sunglasses person are you?
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Dark shades or light shades?
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: And why do you think that is?
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: My answer is going to be half my answer and half a party of one answer.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Story.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Party of one.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Story.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: So I have a pair of sunnies that have literally been sitting on my shelf for almost a year, unworn.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And I've had these for maybe four years.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And I love them so much.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: But I never like to wear them.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Or when I do wear them, I always take them off.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: And I realize it's because I don't like the dark lenses.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I want to see the world.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I love to see colors.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: I love to make eye contact with people.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: So for me, dark shades are actually kind of bothersome.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So even though I like the frame...
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: I didn't love the lenses.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: So on this New York City adventure of mine, I was doing my specialty bop that I love to do.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: So I had the intention of reinventing my sunnies as I just shared.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: So I brought them with me in my bopping adventure.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: That's the intention being set, simply bringing the glasses with me.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: And from there,
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: if and when I felt called to a glasses place,
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: I would ask them about collaborating with me in my reinvention efforts.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: I highlight this to be,
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: well,
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: to hopefully paint an even stronger picture of how I show up as my party of one.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: I'm not seeking a glasses store.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I know I'll stumble upon the right glasses store.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I don't care when.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know how.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: I just know I have my glasses and I have clarity around what I want to do with them.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: When I stumbled upon the glasses store that drew me in,
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: naturally,
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Kai,
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: the gentleman who worked there,
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: and I made friends instantly.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: And he tells me he thinks of everything, get this, as peanut butter kisses.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: After figuring out our mutual love of peanut butter,
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: then he tells me peanut butter kisses because it's the glue of love.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: He also said,
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: and I quote,
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: when I was thinking about dating and choosing the right partner,
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I always envisioned them giving me peanut butter kisses or detecting the smallest
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: bit of peanut butter in their breath.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: I love peanut butter so much that a peanut butter kiss is a fetish only a true
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: lover of peanut butter would appreciate.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: My partner now loves peanut butter just as much as me, end quote.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: I think he might love peanut butter more than I do.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: And it made my day.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Now to circle it back to the glasses bit.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Kai actually said to me in the store after I told him my vision.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: He said, you don't seem like a dark shades person.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: You're so friendly and open.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So here we are.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Now asking you lovely listeners if you're dark or light sunglasses person and why.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Now this leads me to one of the email answers I received.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Thank you guys for answering.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: It makes me very happy.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: I love to learn about you.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: I, this person, I am a dark sunglasses person.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I remember spending my senior year of high school and the better part of junior
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: year with a pair of dark blue prescription glasses that annoyed some of my teachers
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: at first,
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: but it just became part of my persona.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Love that.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: I think I like them dark because I'm more of a quiet and reserved person who likes
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: to observe the world from a distance.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: I think protective veil, so to speak, to view the world from behind just resonates with me more.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: I think maybe.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what he said.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: On a side note, he says, I wear gold mirrored lenses now.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: I think it just says that I like to stand out and be flashy.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And I also had a moment of bright orange mirrored lenses in college and I lost them at a party.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: somewhere along the way, but they were awesome and I adored them.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Cheers to funky sunnies.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Email me your answers.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Self friendship podcast at gmail.com.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: In honor of my latest announcement of my concept of the PBJ rink of consciousness
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: shared on part one of my chat on the voices in my head podcast hosted by Christina
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Hutchinson released September 16th,
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: 2024 and on planet butter sub stack publication article,
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: which I'll be reading a little snippet from shortly.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Um,
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: In honor of that, all of that, the latest Planet Butter breakdown.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter,
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: my world,
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: my platform to share my concept of self-friendship,
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: embracing,
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: and enjoying ourselves.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: It's a daily practice.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: To activate our self-friendship is the three core methods.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Boundaries, confidence, alignment.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: to know our boundaries and become more confident and stay in alignment,
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: we must integrate the planet butter jet ring of consciousness,
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: intuition,
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: sensations,
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: action,
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: sensations again.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: And then we circle it back to the cycle, beginning of the cycle, intuition again.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Because when we prioritize our intuition and we check in with our body and
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: recognize that we are in alignment,
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: then we can take action from an empowered place and have the confidence to honor
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: our boundaries,
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: the first core method,
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: become more confident,
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: the second core method,
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And therefore,
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: the third core method,
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: stay in alignment and continue to trust our intuition in the process because we
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: learn and grow and see our upgrades,
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: which I've been talking a lot about,
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: as we continue to trust in ourselves and embrace,
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: understand,
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: and enjoy ourselves.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: It's your world and you're living in it.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter's mine.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: Go team.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: Now, projection in action.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Someone told me their perspective of traveling is that those countries aren't going
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: anywhere as they continue to stay exactly where they are because the countries
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: aren't going anywhere.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: This is called projection.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: This person is physically not going anywhere.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So now they projected it onto the rest of the world as also not going anywhere.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: projection.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: I have a little note on projection later on too.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: Stick around.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Now own your preferences.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: A massive part of embracing understanding and enjoying ourselves is recognizing
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: what it is we want and don't want in our lives.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Taking ownership of those preferences is required for integrating the first core
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: method to activate our self-friendship,
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: which is boundaries.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: When we know what we prefer and we commit to only accepting what it is we prefer,
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: our boundaries are then identified.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: With clarity around our boundaries, we become more confident, the second core method.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: By feeling more confident,
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: we're better able to make decisions that sustain our alignment and allow us to
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: receive what we truly desire.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: What we desire is what we deserve.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: And what we accept is what we deserve, which I discuss in depth on episode 15.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Now, a very cool and important and valuable note on breath work.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Breath work, especially breath holds, as in...
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: helps create gamma waves in the brain, which are linked to heightened awareness and mental clarity.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: By holding our breath after an inhale,
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: we activate the pineal gland,
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: enhancing our awareness of internal states and these subtle energies around us.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: When we combine this natural awareness with our daily self-friendship practice,
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: we can become more conscious of ourselves and our relationship to the world around us.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: which strengthens our integration of the PBJ ring of consciousness.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: The ongoing cycle of intuition, sensations, action, sensations, intuition, and so on.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: That encourages us to make decisions aligned with our most expansive selves.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Side note.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: hilarious breathwork related story.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: My sister and I did a breathwork session and the chick guiding it on the app said,
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: this might be the only break you get today.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: I called it fear-based breathwork and then we just bursted out laughing.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Game over.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Silly, silly.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Now a quote from my grandma.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: I told my grandma how my podcast offers people considerations to think critically
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: and creatively as a means of consciously creating their life.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: She said, boy, if they need other people to help them with their own life, they are in trouble.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: I found that absolutely hilarious for so many reasons.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: She kind of missed the entire point of my business,
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: but that's one of the many reasons I found this hilarious.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: Make of it what you will.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Now a perspective dance with thinking.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Just for fun.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Life is fun.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: That's the point.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Instead of saying I'm thinking about something, I've started saying I'm
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: wandering my mind about whatever it is.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: I think it's cute.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Cool.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: Perspective dance.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: Check, check.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Now.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is a good one.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Now, subconscious safety nets.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: My sister used to live in a building with a doorman for over a year.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: No, without a doorman.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: My sister lived in a building without a doorman for over a year.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: In that time over a year,
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: she never forgot her keys because if she did,
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: she'd be totally locked out of her apartment.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Of course,
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: she'd call a locksmith and such,
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: but that's a whole other level of hassle that she wanted to not experience.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: deal with.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: So now she lives in a building with a doorman, which means she has a backup if she forgets her keys.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: In less than three months, she's already forgotten her keys twice.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: This contrast shows how the subconscious comfort of having the backup allowed her
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: to be more relaxed about forgetting her keys.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: With a
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Without it, there's only the pressure of don't forget your keys.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: It's the same with our life choices.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: When we commit to something, if there's a plan B, we're giving ourselves subconscious comfort.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Without a backup, we're fully invested in our commitment.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: This way, the commitment can unfold however it needs to, which might include a pivot that
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: But the commitment is the commitment.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: If something needs to pivot, it's not a backup.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: It's progression of the commitment unfolding.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: You see?
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Progression.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: The commitment is the safety net.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Our trust in ourselves and the universe because we are making decisions
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: unequivocally in our own best interest is the safety net.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Check out the term riskidence on Blizzard's Bictionary.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: I think you will enjoy it.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: If you like that, at least maybe.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: If you liked that bit, you will enjoy it.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And if you did not like it, you may not enjoy it.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: But maybe you will be a critical and creative thinker and consider it anyway.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Cool.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Now a perspective dance with our highest selves.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: When people talk about our highest selves,
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: they're talking about connecting to our intuition,
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: which is connecting to the universe at large.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: The universe is an infinitely expansive vibration.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: There's no highest or lowest.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: There's expansive or contracted or expanded, whatever.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: So we're not becoming our highest selves.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: We're becoming our most expansive selves.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Self-friendship article snippet.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Traditional psychology.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Meat planet butter.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: I was wandering my mind about how much I love to understand people's thought processes.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: I love how it enhances my understanding of the way they operate in their world.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: So I checked into my own thought process in relation to how I objectively operate in my decision making.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: In my world, planet butter.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: In my essence,
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: that is self-friendship,
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: the daily practice of embracing,
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: and enjoying myself and my ability to show up as my party of one,
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: having fun with myself,
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: for myself,
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: as myself.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Out came the planet butter jet ring, PBJ ring.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: First, I check my intuition.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: It's relentlessly first for all of us.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Second, I check my body.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: What sensations surface?
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Any?
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Tightness?
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Pulsing?
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: What is it?
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Third, I take action.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: I do the thing.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Fourth, I check my body.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: What sensations surface now that I'm doing the thing?
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: Then I circle back to my intuition and repeat the cycle.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: We can consider that the PBJ ring is essentially a more conscious version of the CBT triangle.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Hence the alt name.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: conscious ring.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: In the land of planet butter,
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: while the system of CBT triangle applies in that our thoughts,
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: feelings,
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: and behavior influence one another,
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: we operate on planet butter on the higher road to connect with our most expansive selves.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: While CBT triangle focuses on quote-unquote modifying dysfunctional emotions,
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: behaviors,
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: and thoughts by interrogating and uprooting negative or irrational beliefs,
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: end quote,
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: from psychology today,
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: the PBJ ring in its conscious nature chooses not to recognize emotions,
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: behaviors,
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: or thoughts as dysfunctional.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Rather,
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: the PBJ ring is grounded in the roots of our daily practice of embracing,
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: and enjoying ourselves,
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: self-friendship.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: We focus, F-O-K-I-S-S, a
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: If we don't feel at ease, it wasn't our intuition.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: You can read or listen to the rest on Planet Butter's publication or subscribe on
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Instagram to watch my on-camera reading of the article.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Now, take a joke.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Take a compliment.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: I wonder the degree of separation between ability to take a compliment and ability to take a joke.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: I figure the more grounded we are in ourselves, the more highly we think of ourselves.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: This would make us comfortable to say thank you about something positive about ourselves.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Yet the compliment will not be the source of our positive feelings towards ourselves.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Similarly, for taking a joke.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: When someone makes a joke at our expense, when we're grounded in ourselves, we're also more self-aware.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: So we can appreciate someone making fun of us in some capacity and likewise not
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: take it personally as a negative experience,
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: merely a joke.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Now, a blunt fact to remember.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: If you don't have context and you're giving an opinion, you are projecting, my friend.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: A note on inside jokes.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: I have inside jokes with myself.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: I don't think I've shared this one yet.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: And I'm impressed we've made it this far without talking about this.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: So, yes, I have inside jokes on myself.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: And the other day, I'm not going to tell you what it was because it's an inside joke.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: But I saw something funny on Instagram.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: But it was only something that was funny to me.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: It wasn't intended to be funny.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: I just found it funny with myself for myself.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: And I was about to click share because I was like, this is funny and valuable.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: I want to share this with people.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: But I also wanted the humor of it to be understood.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And that's when I realized I didn't have friends that would be in on this joke with me except myself.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: So I shared the video from Planet Butter's Instagram account to Self-Friendship Podcast's account.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: So that way I was physically doing the act of sharing.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: with myself.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: And I think that's really beautiful and also hilarious.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And I wanted to share with you because I see the value in it.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: So I hope you do too.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Now, everything can be at our fingertips.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Someone pointed out to me how I love to have everything at my fingertips.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: And I do.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: I love to have everything at my fingertips with ease, yet still a reach, natural, yet challenging,
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Self-friendship,
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: embracing,
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: and enjoying ourselves and having fun with what might be challenging in this
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: lifetime so we can learn,
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: upgrade,
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: evolve,
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: and become our most expansive selves.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Now,
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: a loving reminder,
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: bringing gratitude and consciousness to what we currently have that we once desired
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: propels us forward in an empowered way.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: Go team.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Now what's meant for you is for you.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: I love this example.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: So I eyed a bench from a little bit of a distance as I continued to approach.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: One guy sat at the bench next to it.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: To most people, that implies one less bench for me to sit at.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: In my mind, I knew the one bench I looked at was my bench for that moment.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: So there was no risk of it being taken.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: The other bench wasn't my bench.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: I didn't even look at that bench.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: I just observed the guy sitting on the bench next to my bench.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Apply this to everything.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: What's ours is ours.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: When we focus, again, Blizzard's dictionary term,
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Ourselves, we are grounded in our own lifeline.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: To follow that up, a word replacement, lifeline instead of timeline.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: This way,
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: we can detach our life's rhythm from societal constructs of time and simply flow
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: with our own existence.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: All right, guys, we did it.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: To wrap things up, the question of the week.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: What is something you currently have that you previously desired?
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Let's hear some consciousness and some gratitude, people.
