New Fire Ignites in Boundary Waters | Duluth News
A new wildfire, dubbed the Long Two Wildfire, has ignited in the remote Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness near Pine Lake. Starting at just one to two acres, it’s being closely monitored by the Forest Service, who urge visitors to stay away for safety and to avoid interfering with firefighting efforts. Drones are strictly prohibited in the area, especially near active fire zones, to protect both crews and the public.
