- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Every time I leave I have to go I'm like I have got to tell somebody this Somebody Right now my hippolas don't don't apply to artists they only free girl you got free reign over God Like literally my best friend was so like I said I'm like I just need you hear the story and she's like Yeah it's a dev story because that's a classic dev story That's a dev story you know what that should be a slogan for it's a dev story it's a dev story Hey it's Deb it's Happy Ira Deb.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: We are on day one of the country radio seminar and sitting next to me my dear friend Chandler Flint Happy nice to have you here I feel like this is our bonding week you it is a bonding week I think you and I are gonna become best friends I think I'll have to go to Philly after this totally yeah I would love it my door's always open I got a big enough house I'll take it for a cheesesteak yeah I'll take that I would love that how are you doing today I'm doing great how are you today um I'm good I'm running on like some diet coffee some diet are you a coffee girl I am I wasn't until I went back to school okay and because I hadn't been in college in so long right that I became but now I'm a bougie coffee girl you have to like you gotta you gotta find what works for you I just turned hope on to I'm like you need a caramel ice latte with vanilla cold foam and she's like what see I love the sugar i if it's too sweet though I gotta yeah me too I'm a sugar grill too I worked on that like cutting sugar out and then I was like this it you realize how nasty coffee tastes it totes it totally is I don't even like I didn't have Kramer this morning I only had black coffee I had like two sips and I was like one afternoon that's when I start then it's when I switch to Diet Coke or Coke serious for the buzz in the afternoon.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah yeah I mean I think it's almost like you hit that wall and I woke up at five o'clock this morning for I didn't have to be up at five o'clock but like I woke up and I'm like if I lay back down there's a very good chance I'm rolling in at two in the afternoon.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Oh you're just going to bed after that totally I'm like I'm not gonna be able to interview I go back to bed so I can only imagine all right tell the viewers tell them about your story tell them about your country music all right so it started for me with sports that's how I kind of transitioned into music and uh you know there's a lot of great stepping stones that come with sports everybody knows absolutely international language music absolutely sports and music it really is and it it teaches you a lot of grit and so I moved into this this space where I felt comfortable singing I've been doing it my whole life but not part of people and uh I did that after college and that's kind of what started the career but I came here for a music marketing internship like I was showing you yesterday and it it just uh he asked me if I could sing for something I was like I think so maybe in the shower in the bathroom I don't even know can I sick and so I did that and it turned into he was like I want to let's make a song and a music video while we're here that relationship ended up ending but it led me to where I'm at now and I'm I'm working on everything has a season right everything has a season.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: You know it's really funny I there was an artist on earlier today and I love her she's a little sunshine right so I go all we talked about last time was your boyfriend.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: And I go how's your boyfriend she's like we broke up oh no I'm like you didn't text me that you didn't feel like you're gonna like Deb, come on, things didn't really go really well but that's amazing.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah so you love it and let's talk about the rhinestone room what is it called oh yes the rhinestone ranch so it's just a it's a creative space so Bella and Gage and I have been creating content together for like a year now.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Right and we've been and are there two better people to create content with than Gage especially because they make you do what you know you need to do and you're like I don't feel like it today they're like do it.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah all right Bella is just her heart is as big as this entire hotel.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: It is I love I told you the story how we met right no I'm going through social media and I see the bad boyfriend thing.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: Yes and I'm like I love it and we kind of just bonded through that and then last September she needed someone to speak on a panel and she's like I would love it if you would come down and speak oh I can see why on girl I love you and it like speak on the panel and I think she's engaged I mean the energy is absurd.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Yes he's he's just a bundle of joy he is a total bundle of joy so are you thank you it's a good mix I hope right it really is a good mix so it's just it's a good place to uh we can get messy in my house and we can throw clothes everywhere and I've got so many clothes oh same girls like you have to you don't have a husband you have to explain that to a girl I've also been married so you know I'm on my second not my I'm on my second whatever you know you gotta tweak your life you gotta you know tweak your life and be like your life a little bit you do you gotta be like okay not doing it but I get it I totally get it yeah I know and then the girls' love of clothes is oh my goodness yes and so it's just everywhere we have paper rolls we've got all kinds of stuff there and I'm a photographer which is my other love besides music and you're an amazing photographer so gauge is like I guess like maybe five or six weeks ago the headshots he came out with I was like bravo like you nailed not just a beautiful photo but really who gauge is thank you that's the goal you never everybody likes to see it's cool to see that's the first honestly there's a there's definitely like a parallel between the music and photos for me because it's how people see themselves absolutely and I really don't do any major editing I really just do color and people are amazed they're like that's really me I'm like that's really you like there's really nothing that I'm doing I'm not slimming anything down I'll do something if people want me to yeah I mean that's so great.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: It's cool it's you're very creative I mean in your dress in in your photography in your music it's a it's a fun little world to play dress up in it's a good to be you it's a good season to be I'm like it's a grown in a good season to be you thank you all right what's next what's coming up tell me something fabulous let's dream big together let's all get ride stream pants I've got like five pairs already exactly so what's next is that I'm I'm finishing up my debut EP album however many we end up right together right now we're at seven and seven is good though I did we talk about that yesterday I don't know seven's amazing I'm proud of it's good it's very it's a mix of you know I've been trying to figure out how to describe this because people want you to fit absolutely absolutely it's definitely very old school country right mixed with a little bit I've got heavy I love heavy guitar I've got a lot of what I didn't mention yesterday is a lot of influence of like Zeppelin and old like just classic rock and so I love classic rock it's an interesting mix but I feel like all together they kind of go together there's a little bit of blues to it maybe a little bit of Chris Stapleton vibe but love it I'm very excited to share it and uh it feels like for the first time this is part of my heart that has come together and these are the right words and all that.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: And do you feel like it takes a lot of confidence to put yourself out there.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: It uh I maybe confidence isn't the word it's too we're talking about delusion yeah you gotta feel like that's to you Rami girl you do kind of have to be a little delusional to in this business but I think that's so good because people that come here with a dream or people that didn't start out doing this and found it like you gotta play all in.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: Absolutely you know growing up I was always one of those things that people are like oh you know professional sports or whatever like good luck you got to play right yeah right and so what'd you play?
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: What sport?
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: I did gymnastics for 10 years and then I did that like elite and almost well almost elite and whatever I stopped and then I chewed a person.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: And so um yeah my body is pieced together.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: I know me too.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: We're going backwards in age though all of my friends go backwards in age.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: Don't worry you now someday you and I are gonna be celebrating our 12th birthday together.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: And we're gonna be like yes we are no we can't go under 21 because we want to be able to get a drink together.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah so when are you releasing do you have any idea I am looking at May for the release of Just My Luck and it's Just My Luck on St.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: Patty's Day yesterday it's very Barn burner very fast paced song like my poor drummer and poor freaking weapons out of it play so fast.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: That's their job girl that's their job I know it's a very fun song though so that's what we're looking at May and then maybe like every six to eight weeks we're kind of just seeing how we how we feel right now.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: I mean it cracks me up like it doesn't crack me up but like to me as somebody who who doesn't have to create something and drop it in six weeks like that artists get in the rhythm of dropping every six weeks.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: I don't even think I like wipe my basebords every six weeks very good chance I have adjusted my I am that's so funny Rusty's watching right now I am I I'm definitely one of those people that like I can't go to my office and think if the shit around me is not I can't like and it seems so ridiculous right because my but I like unless my desk is clean unless the house is clean.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: But like my regular are there certain things for you like what what are you bad about?
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Are you bad about laundry or dishes or anything?
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: I'm bad about I laundry I'm cool with doing it's putting it away okay like that shit could sit there but that's clean to me I'll like have it sit there right it's like literally like right I'm like it's not dirt but if it was up to me but now like the quality of life it's like I wasn't meant to wipe windowsills every week of my life.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: But I think we all have that one thing because you know and I'm like that with dinner like I like to get dinner started during the day in between clients.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: I like that so that when my my other half my better half comes home we can sit down together.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: That's really cool too because to make that space for somebody when you're as well totally and you know we are like we love music and we dance in the kitchen and I feel like life goes so fast that if you don't create these moments you know Gage and I did a whole course on scheduling joy and these moments and I think that that's what disconnects a lot of couples you know is he's living his world and I'm living and I don't ever want that to be right you know have different worlds for sure but oh totally he's not a generator for God's sakes.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: I mean he's got a big boy job yeah a big a real job that's what I say I'm like he's got a real job if you get a paycheck regularly you have a real job.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: I know I was laughing because anything that like I ever bought when I was married in terms of like houses or whatever I was like yeah you can refer to the W-2 guy.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: Right I'm not the one right exactly um but you know when you grow into who you're supposed to be you know I got married young and and I have a very good relationship with my ex-husband but yeah totally I I actually like have a lot more respect for him now than they did you know but I mean he was he's a doctor a surgeon and he was building medical practices and you know I was like the sole caregiver of my daughter and and you know resentment comes in but like now to watch him win is making my heart happy.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: You know what I love that because most people do not have that you know what I tell him I want you to win I want you to win.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: I think I want the best for you.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: I totally want the best for you can't exist at once I I feel like I mean small town you kind of have to either be like kind of cordial with me we're not but my ex lives here too and he's honestly the one who funded and started my music.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: It's beautiful.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: And so hopefully one day I can write him a check that's right that's right um he had a lot of support to do with that and so I look at a lot of this and even though we're not together anymore yeah he's one of my biggest cheerleaders like I know in my heart that he would never let me fall like I know he would like he would do right and I do wish him a beautiful life I tell him all the time I go get out there and have a beautiful life.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: You know he worked so hard before and I'm like it's your time to sit back and enjoy it.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: Absolutely you know that's really cool and that's cool that you're still like yeah we are we're tight he's a good guy and and um he's a better friend than he was a husband but I mean I also have to you know different times we go through different seasons like I'm not the same person I was then either how old were you when you got married?
- 11:59SPEAKER_02: Oh like sh maybe 26 yeah um young but I mean he was starting a residency program which is you know being married for all of you who think it's good to marry a doctor please know they don't have any money for a long time takes a lot they gotta pay back all that money and then it's gonna take a little bit like don't think you're marrying into greatness because that's not what's happening.
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: But he's always been a really hard worker and he's always been an amazing provider and he's always been really good to my daughter.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: So I guess those are the things.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Would you ever get married again?
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: You know I'm well we're getting very cursed.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: You know what I love it though because this is the kind of thing that I look for when I'm listening to an artist do an interview is I want like the real the real things.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: I can find a lot of stuff on the internet.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: I think that for a while I was really hardened towards it because I was like oh it's so hard to get out of it's so easy to get into and it's so true statement.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: It is such a true statement.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: But I I don't think that I think that if the opportunity came right yeah of course yeah I mean I think it's just you know I was in a spot in my life where I really just wasn't even looking for it.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: You know I was kind of trying to piece my own identity back and and fill myself with knowledge so I could go to the one thing I always wanted to do was help change people's lives.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: In even the smallest way.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: That's all I wanted to do for no one to ever feel as small as I felt like I really wanted to help people.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: So I think you know you go the universe brings people in there for a reason and the reason is and when I tell you now this is becoming about me I'm so sorry because I love you so much.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh please girl I have a beautiful life I can tell you can tell like you're fulfilled like thank you so much it's like I I think we search so hard for just peace you know like and it's different it looks different to everybody but like this is the first time in my life that I finally feel at home.
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: In all in in my childhood and everything I honestly that's a good so it's really good like don't ever and I I was the girl too like married again there's no way in hell it's it's hard not to feel that way right after it is because no matter if even if it's an okay split and you're amicable split when it's a trial it was like OJ Simpson there was like lawyer.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness I know it was nuts but you know it all brings us back to who we are right now.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: And like looking back I well I mean I would have changed the 20 lawyer thing but um looking back now I I wish we could have sat down like adults and not wasted all that money.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Because all we did was make somebody else money.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: That's a very good point.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: It really is that is a good point.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: You know it's really hard though in the moment like to have a clear head like you're always influenced by something.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: Oh I am really grateful to like at the end of it I I did go to marriage counseling and I know we're saying whatever right now but I I learned so much from that because it was individual more than it was like we did it in a group with five couples that was some crazy stuff.
- 15:01SPEAKER_02: I bet dude don't you want to be the therapist in that way that's amazing.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: But it was it was really I work with a lot of you totally do about yourself.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: You do and I think the biggest thing I teach people is that once communication breaks down nobody feels heard.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: That's right and then we start going outside the marriage like he's the blah blah and it goes back and forth and there is no it does.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: Alright I'm gonna brag about Rusty for one second.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah go for it go for it when I first met him you know I was like I'm I'm doing things you know I have a lot of good friends I was headed back to Texas and um I remember very early on when we were dating he's a saint by the way I can't wait for you to meet him we'll go have dinner next time we're down there um he's great you're gonna love him so he was he's a whole different life he's a biomedical engineer he puts pacemakers in everybody all day that's like water off a duck like he never seems dressed totally right laid rightly we need people right let me tell you something my first I saw 67 people today I'm like that's what you signed up for sir.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah you chose your career you big your career right but one night when we it was like early on when we weren't like living together or anything and he was like he said he was tired because he's good to work he goes to bed super early like eight o'clock it's like it's like living with a toddler it's crazy but I know he needs the rest right I wouldn't want somebody putting their hands in my heart that we didn't know what they were doing.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: And he said before we go to bed I just is there any unfinished thoughts like do you have anything you feel like you need to tell me because I don't want to go to bed and you not feel heard wow bam mic drop moment right and Chandler in my life that's the first time anybody I never nobody ever told me they were proud of me.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: Oh what a sweet spot I know and I was like damn we feel like your feminine part can come out too totally because I was holding so I spent my whole life trying to prove something that person and the relationship right and that's that that peace and that safety of feeling and that's when you really come out totally like you don't even know like and I'm I'm like I've been here two days and I'm homesick.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah and I was this independent that's how that's how it should be though and that's you know it it just you just have to you just have to go with what you feel totally my ex-husband was a um computer software engineer so very much in the same direction smart dudes though I can tell you like really smart and that's really cool yeah that's really cool and I teach couples that now like it is so easy for someone to feel unheard and unseen.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: And I just teach couples I'm like here's a ball or this whatever and it's 10 minutes and you're gonna talk from your heart and they're not gonna judge you they're not gonna interrupt you they're not gonna look at you strange it's your time to be heard and then pass it over.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: And I think that works in like every ounce of life.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah because people want to feel important they want to feel heard they want to feel like loved.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: Right they do right because it's so easy to get and for you guys especially to get in the grind of doing this absolutely that we forget like that people are human all day every day.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: All day every day and we all feel the same way.
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: You know right we're all I tell my clients that too because I'm like they're like oh I'm like we're all just trying to get by yeah whether it's just disguising mechanism or what?
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah right but we're all just trying to what's serious is my sarcasm for sure.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Oh girl you don't even know I literally it's same same there is a there's a theme in these seven songs too that is just like all I played with the idea I haven't come up with a name for it yet but I was coming up with rock bottom sarcasm because that's where my life is I love that.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: And all of them are kind of like you've got this ounce of sarcasm throughout it.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: Kind of likes to put that stuff at you yeah yeah yeah yeah and so uh but I was curious how you deal with your I definitely am like you have to laugh I can't oh my god everything's like a joke I literally it's it's literally everything I'm like oh my god this cannot I don't take life seriously anymore I think because I was so you know when you live with a very driven man who the numbers mean everything you're on edge you know but like now I'm like I don't I don't care we haven't matter we're gonna be we've made it through worse shit than this and when you learn to live from like a place of gratitude as opposed to a place of stress and and worrying about lack and everything else you're gonna worry about it twice.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: Amen ultimately right and most times it's not even gonna damn well happen and then you've just wasted all that time when you could have been doing something really cool like having drinks with Debbie we could be having drinks with Deb.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: It is so true.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: You're so so right about that and by the way anytime camera or without cameras Oh I know I literally was gonna I said to Belle I'm like are we getting together this week when yeah I was about to say I'll ask you totally yeah I'm in I'm in town till Saturday morning.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: Okay great you're in town should come over here the parties here are amazing at night they're really fun you have to call me and like let me know if you want to come for sure always did you run into anybody famous on your way no I I did not I saw some faces on the wall I mean besides me did you run into anybody I did not I did not I walked in and like three people not artists but like managers remembered me from last year though I see so many people that I'm like I'm like do I hug them like is this a weird moment?
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: Like what do I do?
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: Honestly and when in doubt hug I same I'm a hug it out let's just hug it out now it's good to see you're gonna I know I know is there someone that you have like do you have a favorite person that you would like to see while you're gay it might just be out of the I mean I would love to see Chris Stapleton love to see Jelly Roll.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: I would fair enough but it's really good like part of the media stint here is that we're locked in with them.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: You know it's not open to the public right you haven't let anybody want that and through so we get to really the really cool is it tomorrow the Rhyme in lunch okay so this is the coolest thing ever okay they they for the media they take us all to the Rhyme in theater it's a bag to lunch but it's a bougie bag to lunch right like exactly and it's two to three hours of a day tomorrow are you a psyched for tomorrow whoa it was so much fun last year and it's like a ticket you could not buy.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: Right that's the thing it's a ticket that no matter how much money you had you could not buy.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: And the only people in there are other artists and rest it is my frame I don't know if I ever told you this you're gonna wait you see when I get home and take a picture I have a dark blue office and on the walls are these four by six white frames at my it's my hall of fame.
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: People like when I treat people they're like what's that I'm like that's my wall of fame that's everybody I've interviewed they're all taken and then they Gave us this great poster at the Ryman last year.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: Girl, you gotta come to Philly.
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: Bring Bell Engage.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: Bring Bell Engage.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: Look, we love the track.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: And I have that, I have the play on the wall.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love that.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: And people are like, what?
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: Like, it is such a cool experience.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: I love that though.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: Like you should document everything that you oh my gosh.
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you would have told me five years ago, I'd be sitting next to like country music's finest and some of the greatest human beings, and you're in that category.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: Like that girl.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: Some of the, you know, most heartfelt, wonderful people on this show.
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: I would have laughed.
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: I would have been like, sure, whatever.
- 22:37SPEAKER_02: Right, but I think Gage and I do need our own talk show.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: I think you do.
- 22:40SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: Y'all are y'all are.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: We filmed yesterday morning.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: Yes, um, him and I, two courses that we're releasing to my community.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: Um I'm excited.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: I'm so excited.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: I love will you come on the community one time and talk about like anytime.
- 22:55SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 22:55SPEAKER_01: The stuff that y'all are talking about, like I've had my run-in with some some things that were dark too.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: We all have.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we all have.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: And but you know what's so beautiful about having a guest?
- 23:04SPEAKER_02: Um, and you're gonna come in and co co-host the show one time with me one time.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, we will totally have you.
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: We'll totally have you.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: But I think it puts a real aspect to it.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: It does, you know, because it's it's lonely to be sad.
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: It's lonely.
- 23:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, you can be lonely and live in a house full of people.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: So I love that you guys I really want to have you on for one of the communities.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: Like to know you can do, you can come from the lowest point in your life to where you're walking into the Omni with country music great.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: So I had an open toy on in this morning.
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's so cool.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: I had one on last year, too.
- 23:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's so cool.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: And it's just, we shot a Righteous Brother a couple weeks ago.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: Um, like what?
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: You're gonna fill up that room.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: I'm not even kidding you.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: I literally said to my husband, we're like, bam, we're gonna have to bam, you know, bam.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: We're gonna have to knock down this wall and like it's a good thing.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: But it looks and it reminds me when I'm sitting at my desk or when I feel like what are you doing?
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: Or, you know, I go in there and I remember why we started this journey.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: Because we I wanted to celebrate people who dream big.
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: I wanted there to be a platform for people who have the courage and the balls to say, I'm gonna do this.
- 24:14SPEAKER_02: About that.
- 24:14SPEAKER_02: You know, because it takes a lot of balls.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: It takes a lot of balls.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: It does.
- 24:17SPEAKER_02: It took a lot for me to get here behind this camera, and then every single one of you inspires me.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Well, that's wonderful because if it makes you feel better, we all look really silly when we start.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Oh, totally.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm two years in now.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: I know, I'm like, and I look back like even two years, I'm like, oh my god.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: Well, I had a different media team um than Michigan, but I'm like, why did I have that media team?
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: I know, I'm like, what?
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: I know, I know.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: It's like I seriously feel like you're it's like a Mrs.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: Brady thing.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: Like you look back, you're like, why was my hair looking like that?
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're like, someone didn't tell me.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: But you I know last yesterday we were shooting.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: Nobody wanted to tell me I had mascara all over my damn face.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: I didn't even notice.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: I would have said, I'm one of those that would have been.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: I know you would stop.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: Right, like Deb's not looking and folks here.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: And Mitch actually, um, a couple weeks ago when we were filming, I had a uh it might have been now with Gage, and we I was drinking a lemon drop martini and the sugar was like right here.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: Yes, and it's just like only Mitch.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Any other man would be like, who cares?
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: Let her look like that, right?
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: He's like, stop.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: No, it's true, you have to, it's for the best shot.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: Right, absolutely.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: Got it, right?
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: Amen.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: We're not getting a tour bus if I've got if I've got.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: Or maybe you will.
- 25:27unknown: Right, right.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: In the right spot.
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: That's the goal.
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: We want a tour bus.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: You're gonna come in the tour bus with us?
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, yes, girl.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: I'm running life in my forerunner right now.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: So anything more than that with five people.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 25:41SPEAKER_02: I know it's so fun.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: I totally think that like, I mean, I know that only the big rock stars, but like, why can't I have a tour bus?
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: They're so expensive.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: They're so expensive.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: I'm sure it's more than what my house costs.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Houses are very different on the east coast, they cost a lot more.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: The cost of living is very different on the east coast than it is here in the south, and this is another reason why we need Rusty to move back to the south.
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: But um, it is.
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: Yes, it definitely is.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: There's some crazy tour buses.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: I've been on a couple people's.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: I actually sang with Lee Bryce not too long ago, but we never talked before or after.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: It was a lot of things.
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: I love watching their interviews.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I love that.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: We I didn't know the key or any this was the craziest thing I've done.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: But they were like, I didn't even know what key they were gonna sing it in live, and I'm I gotta practice harmonies because I'm new to it.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: And so we got on.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: I didn't I didn't talk to him before or after, and so I was like, if I see him out here, I am gonna say something.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: His tour bus was beautiful.
- 26:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, I can't even imagine.
- 26:43SPEAKER_02: Beautiful.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: I can't even imagine what they're like.
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: I mean, what a way to go.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: People get on, like, I'm on a plane in the last row with the worst turbulence on Monday, and I swear to God that this kid next to me was I hope you're fine, sir, was coughing and coughing and teasing.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: And all I'm thinking is ick, and I can't get sick.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: So I literally text my best friend, I'm like, I think this is where SARS came from.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: She's like, SARS hasn't been around in 30 years.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: I'm like, it's back.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: It's like veil bottoms.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: I I had somebody that was I get really anxious about people throwing.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: And I had this, there was this girl behind me on a plane.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: I love how we're going in random directions because how I talk.
- 27:22SPEAKER_02: This, by the way, this is squirrel, squirrel.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: Squirrel, squirrel.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: Mitch is always like, do you want talking points?
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: I'm like, we're not gonna follow them.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're not gonna follow them.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: But she was about to throw up behind me.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: I was like, we need to get why do people get on the plane to do it?
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: And it was so turbulent that they're gonna be.
- 27:42SPEAKER_02: But I mean, if I were physically, and then he was shaking, I'm like, he's in their detoxing.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: Hey mom, I think I'm about to throw up.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: Maybe I was like, I'm gonna go.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and you're like, please, at all, and just the sound of somebody gagging would be done, done.
- 27:59SPEAKER_02: But he was so and here's me like I know I'm like slowly.
- 28:02SPEAKER_02: I know slowly moving over and then have people, but I'm kind of those.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: And then and it was so funny.
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: Then the guy that was sitting across there's only two seats and two seats.
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: It was an American Eagle flight.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: I'm like, where the fuck is the big plane?
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: Why are we doing this right now?
- 28:13SPEAKER_02: $900, put me in a fucking big plane.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness, you spent that much?
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, it's spring break time.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: Oh god.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's like getting I mean, I could drive here for less than that.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: That's true.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: I could, except that I'm not a good car girl.
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: I don't like cars.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: Me neither.
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: And you know what?
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: There's a reason God put bars in airports.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: Uh, you're right.
- 28:31SPEAKER_02: But it was so turbulent that I'm like, I'm just gonna have a drink and everything.
- 28:34SPEAKER_02: Because I worked in the airport to get some stuff done.
- 28:36SPEAKER_02: For Gage and I actually was riding our courses.
- 28:38SPEAKER_02: I'm like, Gage just didn't come rolling here, looking good.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: Death's doing all the work.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: I love Gage though.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: But so, and then he was like so sick.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: And the whole time I landed and I called my husband, like, sorry, right?
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I'm gonna get sick.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: He's like, girl, how many interviews have you shot?
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: I'm like, God, just stop.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: Stop stop right now.
- 28:56SPEAKER_02: You shot so many interviews.
- 28:57SPEAKER_02: Hey, you're doing good so far.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: It feels like you're you still sound the same to me.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you're sick.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Thanks.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Nope, I didn't get sick.
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: I didn't make it, no.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: I did go to bed at like 8 30.
- 29:07SPEAKER_02: I literally had like zinc with me, and I over-zynced, I think, myself.
- 29:11SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I'm in a deadly comedy.
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, feeling sick, let me take 4,000 milligrams.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: Women don't know the key to moderation.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: No.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: Unfortunately.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: We don't know it with shopping, we don't know with money.
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: I'm glad it's not just me.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: No.
- 29:26SPEAKER_02: No.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: And I I'm like, who cares?
- 29:28SPEAKER_02: It'll and like I have the attitude that it'll all work out.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: Like, don't worry.
- 29:32SPEAKER_02: If we think it's scarce thing, figure it out.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: I'll figure it out.
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: Guess what?
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: I I'm here.
- 29:36SPEAKER_02: I will figure it out.
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: I made it through 100% of my worst days.
- 29:40SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 29:40SPEAKER_02: I get it.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: I totally get it.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: Chandler, I love you, my friend.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: I love you.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: I am so happy that you're part of the Happy Hour family.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: Me too.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: It has been so much fun to have you.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: You're coming back.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: You're the co-host.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: You count me in when I'm going to be here.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited.
- 29:55SPEAKER_02: I would love to have you sit in the co-host chair.
- 29:58SPEAKER_02: Like you hear some stories.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: I do.
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: Addison Yeshe must have been like.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: She must have been blown bubbles when she left there.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: Because like you hear, poor Mitch, she hears all the stories and doesn't begin to engage in them.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: I'd be it'd be so hard for me to be in his position.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: I'd be like, oh my goodness, did you hear this?
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: There's literally, every time I leave, I have to go.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I have got to tell somebody this.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: Somebody.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: And now my HIPAA laws don't apply to art.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: It's free, girl.
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: You got free reign over God.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: Like literally, my best friend was so like telling us, I'm like, I just need you to hear the story about it.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: And she's like, Yeah.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: It's a dev story.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: She goes, that's a classic dev story.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: That's a dev story.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: That should be a slogan for your story.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: That's a dev story.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: It's a dev story.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: But I always do this to my husband.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: I'm like, can I tell you something?
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: He's like, I will.
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: Till the day I die.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: He's like, you're gonna say it anyway.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Why are you asking?
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: That's why I needed my own podcast.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: I love you, sister.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: I love you too, so happy you're coming back.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: Yes, thank you.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: Thanks for everything.
