- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to SEC Football Addiction.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Will Thomas on with us to talk Alabama and Kentucky.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We are presented by PrizePix.
- 0:07Speaker 2: We're all new users who play a $ 5 lineup and win,
- 0:10Speaker 2: get $ 150 in lineups instantly. Will, are you surprised at all,
- 0:15Speaker 2: just to jump in, on the spread on this game,
- 0:18Speaker 2: that it's only 10.5 points? I mean, I don't go
- 0:22Speaker 2: super deep into the betting, but it feels like Alabama
- 0:26Speaker 2: should maybe be favored by a little bit more to
- 0:28Speaker 2: me is that just brand bias because Alabama's got the
- 0:30Speaker 2: logo or what are your thoughts there.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I think it's a bit of both I'm not overly
- 0:34Speaker 3: shocked by the spread honestly because at least for me
- 0:36Speaker 3: personally I've had this game circled since like April as
- 0:39Speaker 3: like this is a spot right here because I think
- 0:42Speaker 3: that for the for Will Stein for Kentucky sort of
- 0:44Speaker 3: as just a program changing win truthfully like that's kind
- 0:47Speaker 3: of the spot for it so I wasn't overly shocked
- 0:49Speaker 3: and Bama only came out as 10 point favorites now
- 0:51Speaker 3: I If it just goes to a 9.5, then I'm like,
- 0:54Speaker 3: what is going on here? Like, just being over that
- 0:56Speaker 3: key number is kind of what keeps it sane. But
- 0:59Speaker 3: I'm not too stunned also because for Bama, right, Keelan Russell,
- 1:01Speaker 3: his very first ever road start, even though Kroger Field
- 1:04Speaker 3: isn't one of the top five atmospheres in the SEC,
- 1:07Speaker 3: when they're up for a game, they're up for a game.
- 1:08Speaker 3: And that place can't get this loud. So just for
- 1:10Speaker 3: a first road start, it could be kind of intimidating.
- 1:12Speaker 3: So 10 points isn't overly shocking, but it's definitely closer than,
- 1:16Speaker 3: you know, it would be on neutral field or on Tuscaloosa, obviously. Yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Thoughts on Keelan Russell?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Just in week one, obviously look great, you know, opponent considered,
- 1:26Speaker 2: but hitting guys is hitting guys, you know? So just like,
- 1:29Speaker 2: I mean, we liked Keelan when we talked in the
- 1:31Speaker 2: off season and, and fall camp and all of that. So,
- 1:35Speaker 2: you know, thank you coach DeBoer for validating our feelings,
- 1:38Speaker 2: but I, and Keelan for validating what we predicted, but
- 1:42Speaker 2: just thoughts on him overall, like, you know, where his
- 1:45Speaker 2: ceiling is in this conference and how he looked week one.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, his ceiling is almost limitless, right? Because
- 1:50Speaker 3: his physical tools are there. We see what he can
- 1:52Speaker 3: do with his arm and with his legs. I thought
- 1:54Speaker 3: his maturity and leadership was already really showcased because Ryan
- 1:57Speaker 3: Williams dropped a big one at the sideline. He dropped
- 1:59Speaker 3: a touchdown. That did not stop Keelan from giving him
- 2:02Speaker 3: opportunities in postgame. He showed a lot of confidence there, so...
- 2:05Speaker 3: I just think sort of between the ears, that was
- 2:06Speaker 3: really promising. I think you got to see a good
- 2:08Speaker 3: bit with his legs. And he wasn't just like, he
- 2:10Speaker 3: wasn't bailing out of the pocket and running because like, okay,
- 2:13Speaker 3: I'm fast. I'm scared by this edge rusher. Let me
- 2:15Speaker 3: get out. He was using his legs really well. Now,
- 2:17Speaker 3: I would love to see him learn how to slide
- 2:19Speaker 3: because he didn't slide a single time when he was
- 2:21Speaker 3: getting hit. When we get into conference play, that'll burn you.
- 2:24Speaker 3: But I think for his first ever start, opponent factored
- 2:27Speaker 3: in there. It was really impressive because of how mature
- 2:30Speaker 3: and far along he looked really between the ears. Where.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You said you've had this game circled for a long time,
- 2:37Speaker 2: Alabama against Kentucky in Kroger Field. Where are the matchups
- 2:44Speaker 2: as a Bama fan that you're looking at and saying, OK,
- 2:47Speaker 2: we can't get beat here? What are the things that
- 2:49Speaker 2: Kentucky does that worries you if you're a fan of
- 2:54Speaker 2: the Crimson Tide?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Well, so for Kentucky's offense, they want to run a
- 2:57Speaker 3: lot of it through Willie Rodriguez, who's actually one of
- 2:59Speaker 3: the lone returners who's going to play a key piece
- 3:01Speaker 3: in that offense. He's their big tight end, their number 81.
- 3:04Speaker 3: They want to run a lot through him, just kind
- 3:05Speaker 3: of as sort of a steady, stable presence there for
- 3:08Speaker 3: Kenny Minchia, quarterback. So I look at Bama's linebackers, and
- 3:12Speaker 3: I love them as run stoppers. I think they're really,
- 3:13Speaker 3: really good as parts of that front seven. I don't
- 3:16Speaker 3: know how much I can trust them to play coverage
- 3:18Speaker 3: against a good tight end, though. So I look at
- 3:20Speaker 3: Willie Rodriguez as, could he be targeted defensively? multiple times
- 3:23Speaker 3: every single drive? Could he just be a chain mover
- 3:25Speaker 3: for them when Bama maybe has Kentucky in the third
- 3:28Speaker 3: and seven? Can they just dump it off to Rodriguez
- 3:31Speaker 3: and have him get that first down? That kind of
- 3:32Speaker 3: worries me. And then on the other side, for Bama's
- 3:35Speaker 3: offensive line, they're really still in proven mode from how
- 3:38Speaker 3: poorly they played last year. They played fine against ECU.
- 3:41Speaker 3: There were still a couple of things that may be like, oh,
- 3:43Speaker 3: why is that not fixed up yet? Now, Michael Carroll,
- 3:45Speaker 3: their right guard, arguably their best offensive lineman, he's doubtful
- 3:49Speaker 3: for this game. They really don't think he can go.
- 3:50Speaker 3: So Kentucky doesn't necessarily have a massive, ferocious pass rush,
- 3:54Speaker 3: but losing your best offensive lineman is always losing your
- 3:56Speaker 3: best O-lineman. And you're on the road with, like we said,
- 3:59Speaker 3: Keelan Russell's first ever road start. Losing any piece of
- 4:02Speaker 3: your O-line would kind of concern me there. The fact
- 4:04Speaker 3: that it is the best blocker that Bama has, at
- 4:06Speaker 3: least we think, That also adds a little more worry
- 4:09Speaker 3: because will Keelan Russell now in this game, I talked
- 4:12Speaker 3: about how he had calculated scrambling last week. Could he
- 4:15Speaker 3: now be running for his life a bit this week
- 4:16Speaker 3: if for no other reason, just like, I know that
- 4:19Speaker 3: Carroll isn't there. I have less time in the pocket.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I've got to make something happen. That kind of worries
- 4:23Speaker 3: me a bit too.
- 4:24Speaker 2: When you look at it from the other perspective, obviously
- 4:27Speaker 2: just talent gap in this game is what it is.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It's why they're a two score favorite.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But where are the specific matchups on the Alabama side
- 4:35Speaker 2: that you say, man, if they take care of you know,
- 4:37Speaker 2: X and Y or X, Y, and Z, if they
- 4:39Speaker 2: do these couple of things well, they'll cruise. Like, they'll
- 4:42Speaker 2: get out of here with a 10-plus point win and
- 4:45Speaker 2: be in a good mood with Florida State coming in
- 4:47Speaker 2: next week.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I do think that Bama's front seven, that pass rush,
- 4:51Speaker 3: definitely have the horses to have a great game. Now,
- 4:53Speaker 3: Kentucky's offensive line is very good. It's much better than,
- 4:57Speaker 3: you know, at least power-rated in the SEC than most
- 4:59Speaker 3: SEC fans would probably say casually, but Your secondary is
- 5:02Speaker 3: awesome if you're Alabama. So can a guy like Yonce Pierre,
- 5:05Speaker 3: can Terrence Green route up the middle, can they make
- 5:07Speaker 3: Kenny Minchie's life hard? Because if he doesn't have a
- 5:09Speaker 3: bunch of time in the pocket and you let those
- 5:11Speaker 3: elite DBs sit on routes and go get aggressive... You
- 5:14Speaker 3: can really take away what Kentucky wants to do, and
- 5:16Speaker 3: that's sling the rock around to those elite wideouts with
- 5:18Speaker 3: Mitchie's arm. If you're able to take that away and
- 5:21Speaker 3: force them to lean on a running game, it's also
- 5:24Speaker 3: sort of unproven like Bama's is. If you can make
- 5:26Speaker 3: Kentucky do that, you really lower the ceiling of this offense, which,
- 5:30Speaker 3: led by Will Stein, is very, very high. And then
- 5:33Speaker 3: on the other side of the ball, kind of the
- 5:34Speaker 3: same story, right? Bama's receiver is just outclassed Kentucky secondary talent-wise. Now,
- 5:38Speaker 3: the Wildcats are actually getting two of members of their
- 5:41Speaker 3: secondary back this week. What are their names? Terryon Nichols
- 5:44Speaker 3: and Hassan Sykes, they're both back from injury in the
- 5:47Speaker 3: defensive backfield, so it will be a little bit better,
- 5:49Speaker 3: but those guys still can't cover Ryan Williams. They still
- 5:52Speaker 3: can't cover lots of your Brooks snap after snap after snap.
- 5:54Speaker 3: So you have to give Keelan time because those receivers
- 5:57Speaker 3: will have space. They will get separation downfield. You just
- 6:01Speaker 3: have for Bama, you have better athletes really across the
- 6:03Speaker 3: board when it comes to generally speaking. Just take advantage
- 6:06Speaker 3: of those matchups. Don't beat yourself and let your playmakers
- 6:09Speaker 3: go make those plays.

- 6:43Speaker 2: Will Stein is a coach that you and I, again,
- 6:44Speaker 2: talked to off season, like Kentucky is going to get
- 6:48Speaker 2: somebody like they're going to, they're going to get somebody
- 6:51Speaker 2: because of how good a coach he is.
- 6:53Speaker 1: What does he do?
- 6:54Speaker 2: You know, schematically, what does he do from a personnel
- 6:57Speaker 2: standpoint of, and it just being year one, right? Like
- 7:01Speaker 2: with so much turnover and stuff like, I don't even
- 7:03Speaker 2: know that we'll see the full extent of it, but
- 7:05Speaker 2: what does he do that concerns you?
- 7:07Speaker 1: If you're on that Bama.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Sideline of like, okay, don't scheme us up and embarrass us.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Let that be some other team that you get later.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I really do think that even just the surface level
- 7:17Speaker 3: of being willing and able to utilize the tight ends
- 7:20Speaker 3: is just so important because then you can't just trust
- 7:22Speaker 3: on your DBs being better athletes. Now you have to
- 7:24Speaker 3: factor for this power forward in the middle of the
- 7:27Speaker 3: field who can just gas your defense. I think his
- 7:28Speaker 3: ability and willingness to utilize every different piece of his
- 7:32Speaker 3: offense is in their creative ways, which he does, they
- 7:34Speaker 3: just force Cain Womack, they're going to force his family
- 7:36Speaker 3: defense to not be able to focus on anything. And
- 7:39Speaker 3: if you can't just focus on, well, we have better
- 7:41Speaker 3: athletes in this part of the field, don't let them
- 7:42Speaker 3: get over the top of us, that can just make
- 7:44Speaker 3: it way harder to get off the field on third down, right?
- 7:47Speaker 3: If they're able to slowly bleed you and bleed you
- 7:49Speaker 3: because they're able to utilize just three, four-yard concepts to
- 7:52Speaker 3: march down the field, that can be back-breaking for Alabama
- 7:55Speaker 3: defense and also just the confidence that Wilkstein has. I mean,
- 7:57Speaker 3: we saw it at media days when he said, because
- 7:59Speaker 3: of me, that's why Kentucky will win. His nuggets yesterday
- 8:02Speaker 3: of telling the Kentucky fans to bring in a flask
- 8:04Speaker 3: to the stadium, screaming cursors at Alabama. Like, just that
- 8:07Speaker 3: moxie will permeate to the team. I'm not going to
- 8:10Speaker 3: compare Wilson to Kurt Cernetti, but I'm going to. That's
- 8:13Speaker 3: what Steyer's kind of done. He brings that swagger, that
- 8:15Speaker 3: moxie to his team, and you see his guys play
- 8:17Speaker 3: with it. Stein being able to put that into a
- 8:19Speaker 3: Kentucky program that hasn't really had that in a while,
- 8:22Speaker 3: it can just be a much different vibe. Kentucky's going
- 8:24Speaker 3: to go out there thinking that they belong on this field,
- 8:27Speaker 3: and they're going to believe they deserve to beat Alabama,
- 8:29Speaker 3: and they can do it. That's always a scary thing,
- 8:31Speaker 3: because let's say Kentucky is a 4-9 team this year.
- 8:33Speaker 3: They don't know it yet. So they're going to go
- 8:35Speaker 3: out there like they can win this game no matter what.
- 8:37Speaker 3: So I think that moxie, that confidence, is also a
- 8:39Speaker 3: massive boost for this Wildcats team.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Defensively, I know you touched on this a little bit,
- 8:43Speaker 2: but defensively, obviously, Kentucky was so good for years under Stoops,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and that was kind of their calling card. How would
- 8:48Speaker 2: you rate their defense, and can they slow down an
- 8:51Speaker 2: offense with this many weapons? Obviously, Bama's run game looked
- 8:54Speaker 2: better against Eastern Carolina, but you want to see that
- 8:56Speaker 2: against an SEC-level opponent.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Just thoughts on them defensively in this game?
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah, they're going to have to play up. There are
- 9:03Speaker 3: definitely a lot of their players are going to have
- 9:04Speaker 3: to play really their best games if they want to
- 9:08Speaker 3: consistently stop this Bama defense. I mean, Ty Bryant is
- 9:11Speaker 3: their best player back there at safety, so he could
- 9:13Speaker 3: definitely ball hawk. He could maybe go grab one from
- 9:16Speaker 3: Keelan Russell that can kind of turn the game. Defensively,
- 9:18Speaker 3: on that front seven, I've got to see a little
- 9:20Speaker 3: more pressure. I mean, two sacks against Youngstown State, I'm
- 9:25Speaker 3: not worried about that number being low or anything, but
- 9:27Speaker 3: just do you really have a pass rusher who can
- 9:29Speaker 3: consistently be getting to Keelan, flushing him out. You know,
- 9:32Speaker 3: Tavion Wallace there at linebacker, can he do a good
- 9:34Speaker 3: job of putting a bottle cap on that rushing game?
- 9:38Speaker 3: Because if Bama can run the ball, I got a
- 9:40Speaker 3: lot of worries about this game because then you take
- 9:42Speaker 3: all that pressure off of Keelan, they can control the ball.
- 9:45Speaker 3: So a guy like Tavion Wallace, a guy like Works
- 9:47Speaker 3: there at linebacker, Grant Godfrey, can they put a cap
- 9:50Speaker 3: on that rushing attack? They're all solid players. They haven't
- 9:53Speaker 3: really done it against a rushing attack with this caliber
- 9:55Speaker 3: of running back. So it's a big time question for
- 9:57Speaker 3: me there. Kentucky's defense does have some individual pieces. but
- 10:00Speaker 3: as a unit they're really all going to have to
- 10:02Speaker 3: step up and play maybe the best games of their
- 10:04Speaker 3: lives if they want to hold Bama to 21 or
- 10:07Speaker 3: 24 this week.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah it does feel like you know as much faith
- 10:10Speaker 2: as I have in Stein as much as I like
- 10:12Speaker 2: to toss around unless there's a lot of turnovers and
- 10:15Speaker 2: this just ends up being a higher scoring than everybody thinks,
- 10:17Speaker 2: it feels like that crucial number, and in so many games,
- 10:20Speaker 2: I don't think I'm breaking any ground here, is really
- 10:22Speaker 2: that 28. If Bama gets a 28 or above, it
- 10:25Speaker 2: feels really tough to imagine that Kentucky is able to
- 10:28Speaker 2: get to then 30, to beat them.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I don't know how well that tracks. I don't even
- 10:34Speaker 1: know what the over-under is for this game.
- 10:36Speaker 2: But I feel like if Bama can get four touchdowns,
- 10:39Speaker 2: and most teams, if they can get four touchdowns, they
- 10:40Speaker 2: win the game. uh, that feels like a bridge too
- 10:43Speaker 2: far for Kentucky. And so I agree. I think the
- 10:45Speaker 2: defense has to kind of, in some regards, play out
- 10:48Speaker 2: of their mind. Obviously football's weird. And you know, we
- 10:52Speaker 2: saw a team with four turnovers, unfortunately this week, find
- 10:55Speaker 2: a way to still win the game. So you can
- 10:57Speaker 2: account for it. You can make up for it. If
- 10:58Speaker 2: your defense, then in return can step up. But that,
- 11:01Speaker 2: that 28 ish point number for me, if Bama can
- 11:04Speaker 2: get there, I think they kind of can, can win
- 11:06Speaker 2: this thing.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And if they get above that, then I think they
- 11:08Speaker 1: can win pretty comfortably.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Hmm. Yeah, that should be a bit... Because Kentucky's offense,
- 11:12Speaker 3: on paper, they do have the horses for a shootout.
- 11:15Speaker 3: And if they kind of play in Super Bowl mode here,
- 11:17Speaker 3: do they just clean the rock around? Kenny Minchie, I
- 11:19Speaker 3: think he's a really good passer. Does he just have
- 11:21Speaker 3: the day of his life? A guy like Kenny Darby,
- 11:23Speaker 3: their true freshman at wideouts. They do actually have the
- 11:26Speaker 3: individual pieces to maybe go score 35. Can they do
- 11:30Speaker 3: it this early in the year? There's kind of two
- 11:32Speaker 3: trains of thought there, right? Because they're not totally used
- 11:34Speaker 3: to each other yet. Maybe down the line they play better.
- 11:36Speaker 3: But also... No one's seen what Wilson has up his
- 11:38Speaker 3: sleeve yet, right? No one has really seen the super
- 11:42Speaker 3: secret game plan for this Kentucky offense. So there is
- 11:44Speaker 3: a path where the Wildcats could maybe go play in
- 11:47Speaker 3: a shootout against Bama, but you're definitely right where it's
- 11:49Speaker 3: less likely just because of where we are at in
- 11:52Speaker 3: this season right now. If Kentucky does want to win
- 11:55Speaker 3: this game, you know, 31 points, I don't know if
- 11:57Speaker 3: they can quite get there. You probably have to find
- 11:59Speaker 3: a way to win it with 28 or 27. So
- 12:01Speaker 3: Kentucky does have the horses to, in theory, go play
- 12:04Speaker 3: in a shootout, This early in the season, though, it
- 12:06Speaker 3: would be a big surprise to me if they can
- 12:08Speaker 3: go put up 31 points in this spot.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Especially against an Alabama defense that has so much talent, too.
- 12:13Speaker 2: To not just put it all on Kentucky, you would
- 12:17Speaker 2: need Bama to probably have.
- 12:19Speaker 1: A bust or two. You would need to play... I
- 12:23Speaker 1: don't want to say perfect, but near perfect.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Like you can't be giving them extra opportunities. You can't
- 12:26Speaker 2: be taking points off the board for yourself, but it's,
- 12:30Speaker 2: it is challenging on both sides of the ball because
- 12:31Speaker 2: of how good Alabama is defensively too. Like you think
- 12:34Speaker 2: about their secondary, you think about that front set, like
- 12:36Speaker 2: they're really talented and yeah, they've shown propensity at times when,
- 12:41Speaker 2: whether banged up or whether, you know, playing against a
- 12:43Speaker 2: kind of a gimmicky team early last year, like they've
- 12:46Speaker 2: shown propensity to not be elite defensively.
- 12:50Speaker 1: For the better part of the Kalen DeBoer era, they've
- 12:52Speaker 1: been really good defensively.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And so it's hard to, you're almost, you're, you know,
- 12:56Speaker 2: if you're on the Kentucky side, you're looking at paths
- 12:58Speaker 2: to an upset.
- 12:59Speaker 1: You are thinking, okay, the crowd gets them a little rattled.
- 13:02Speaker 2: He plays, you know, not to his, you know, Russell
- 13:05Speaker 2: plays not to his best in his first road start.
- 13:08Speaker 2: We get a few breaks, go our way. We're in
- 13:10Speaker 2: this thing in the fourth quarter. And then, then Stein
- 13:12Speaker 2: can maybe scheme a few things up to, to get
- 13:14Speaker 2: us over the hump. And, you know, certainly that would
- 13:16Speaker 2: be fun. there's a lot of ifs in that, you know,
- 13:19Speaker 2: there's a lot of ifs in that statement to get
- 13:20Speaker 2: us there. So, uh, we'll, I want to get a
- 13:22Speaker 2: prediction from you, but first I want to ask you,
- 13:24Speaker 2: what do you have coming here? I know game day
- 13:26Speaker 2: is tomorrow, so it'll be a lot of game recaps
- 13:28Speaker 2: and stuff, but what do you have coming and where
- 13:30Speaker 2: can people follow you and, and find your content?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm on my show is tailgate talk, sec everywhere, Twitter.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I'm will Thomas CFB just doing game previews, recaps all
- 13:39Speaker 3: week long. Talk about the biggest storylines, trying to cover
- 13:41Speaker 3: this conference. Cause we've got a lot of storylines. I
- 13:43Speaker 3: don't know if you guys have heard about this team
- 13:44Speaker 3: in Baton Rouge, but there's a lot going on in
- 13:45Speaker 3: this conference. So, I was trying to cover the best
- 13:47Speaker 3: of my ability. So come hang out. It's a lot
- 13:49Speaker 3: of fun.
- 13:50Speaker 2: A quick LSU question. Do you think Lane tries to
- 13:52Speaker 2: score a hundred this weekend? Just, just for the hell
- 13:54Speaker 2: of it. Cause I mean, nearly did that against Clemson
- 13:56Speaker 2: last week. So is it, is it, well, half of that,
- 13:58Speaker 2: but is it, is it like, man, we are going
- 14:01Speaker 2: to show you guys not to mess with us or,
- 14:03Speaker 2: or does he pull the dogs off a little bit early?
- 14:06Speaker 3: Both LSU and Ole Miss sidebar. I mean, these are
- 14:08Speaker 3: massive sandwich spots with both these teams. Cause they're coming
- 14:11Speaker 3: off of, for different reasons, dramatic week one games. And
- 14:13Speaker 3: now they play nobody's at home before they go play
- 14:15Speaker 3: each other. I think both those games could actually be
- 14:18Speaker 3: a little bit sleepy. I'm not worried about either team, obviously,
- 14:20Speaker 3: but I do think you might see both those teams
- 14:22Speaker 3: look a little bit slower than they did last week,
- 14:25Speaker 3: not because they're actually bad, but because they're just getting
- 14:27Speaker 3: ready for what we have next Saturday between both of them.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Cannot wait for that one. Will, what is your score
- 14:32Speaker 2: in this Alabama-Kentucky game?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I had this game circled since April, like I said,
- 14:37Speaker 3: because I had it as an upset pick. I think
- 14:39Speaker 3: that this is kind of a Will Stein-Kentucky Wildcats Super
- 14:43Speaker 3: Bowl scenario. If they go 2-10, which they won't, But
- 14:45Speaker 3: if they go 2-10 with this game being a win,
- 14:48Speaker 3: it'll be a green checkmark. I think they can get
- 14:50Speaker 3: it done. I really think the Wildcats do step up
- 14:52Speaker 3: and get it done. We've seen DeBoer's Bama teams kind
- 14:54Speaker 3: of come out slow in the beginning of the year,
- 14:56Speaker 3: in years past, and still be really good football teams.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I think that's what we get. I think that Bama
- 15:00Speaker 3: falls to Kentucky this week. I said it would be
- 15:02Speaker 3: hard for Kentucky to get to 31. I think that's
- 15:05Speaker 3: where I'm going to put them, though. I'll say like 31-28,
- 15:07Speaker 3: maybe a kick to end in the fourth quarter. Give
- 15:10Speaker 3: me the Wildcats in a big-time upset here.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You're just thinking Alabama might be looking ahead to that
- 15:14Speaker 2: tough opponent in week three.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Yeah, revenge bomb.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I'm going not so fast on this one. I think
- 15:21Speaker 2: Alabama does win. I say they don't cover the spread
- 15:24Speaker 2: by the hook. I'll go same score for the winner, 31-21.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Kentucky plays a good game, keeps it relatively close for
- 15:32Speaker 2: a half, and then Bama pulls away late. That's why
- 15:35Speaker 2: I knew you were going to pick them, just because
- 15:37Speaker 2: I've been following you all offseason. And so that's why
- 15:39Speaker 2: I asked people to go subscribe before because the Bama
- 15:41Speaker 2: fans won't, you know, they'll be upset now. But now
- 15:43Speaker 2: Will does a great job. Again, I would encourage you
- 15:45Speaker 2: guys to go subscribe. We'll link everything down in the
- 15:48Speaker 2: comments below. But Will, thanks so much for hanging out, bud.
