- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Melancamp and Tambraid Jedge. Hi, guys,
- 0:10Speaker 1: welcome to Two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy
- 0:13Speaker 1: Melancamp and dam Ra Judge. We made it that. This
- 0:19Speaker 1: week we have Drenda Medley who was on Real Housewives
- 0:25Speaker 1: Girls Trip or whatever they made with you Yes, Ex
- 0:30Speaker 1: Housewives or something like that. I'm hearing, which I really
- 0:34Speaker 1: don't like that name. I'm gonna throw that out there
- 0:36Speaker 1: right now. Why would they change the name after the
- 0:40Speaker 1: first one. Isn't it the first I think? I think,
- 0:43Speaker 1: isn't it the same production and everything? It is great,
- 0:46Speaker 1: there's such a great company to um. I think what
- 0:49Speaker 1: they're gonna do is use the Ultimate Girls Trip. I'm
- 0:52Speaker 1: just thinking just from when I've heard from my interviews
- 0:54Speaker 1: and stuff, and then it's going to be Ultimate Girls Trip,
- 0:57Speaker 1: Ex Wife's Club, Ultimate Girls Trip whatever, like I think. So,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think they're really trying to figure it out, but
- 1:04Speaker 1: I think they should stick with Ultimate Girls Trip. I mean,
- 1:07Speaker 1: I do have to say I may prefer the beach
- 1:10Speaker 1: vacation to cold just I'm saying. After COVID, I kind
- 1:15Speaker 1: of felt like, yeah, I don't put a bathing suit on.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Oh true. Alright, alright, I guess we have Brenda in
- 1:24Speaker 1: the waiting room. Let's bring her. What's bring her in?
- 1:37Speaker 1: We are bringing in Dornda Medley. We are so excited.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Originally Tam wasn't gonna be able to be here because
- 1:43Speaker 1: she's under the weather. We don't know if it's the
- 1:45Speaker 1: VID or not. We'll find out, but I'm so excited
- 1:50Speaker 1: that you're both able to be with me today. Um,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm excited to be here. Bribe my kids outside of
- 1:56Speaker 1: this room with my with their iPads and like, do
- 1:59Speaker 1: not you come in? Listen? I have Hannah. We just
- 2:02Speaker 1: turned twenty eight yesterday. I'm like, I mean, do not
- 2:04Speaker 1: bother me for the next thirty minutes. She's like okay, no,
- 2:08Speaker 1: never ends. They say okay, but then it's like they forget,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Like I already got a little note in there asking
- 2:14Speaker 1: about a snack. I'm like, get your own snack. You
- 2:17Speaker 1: know what about this morning, I'm on an important call
- 2:20Speaker 1: with nutri System. We're talking about next year and whatever,
- 2:23Speaker 1: doing it again and if we're gonna do it. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm like hands like, I'm like I'm on the phone.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You think it's okay, I'm doing my stay another day,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god. Other than that, this is
- 2:36Speaker 1: your house. Stay, stay for the rest of your life.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Never so, no, I locked the door. The door is
- 2:42Speaker 1: actually locked. Here in the back room. I can't even
- 2:44Speaker 1: sit in the She's actually sitting in the closet. I
- 2:47Speaker 1: wish the closet. I should be smarter and lock it.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But then I get the banging, like the panic. But
- 2:52Speaker 1: why we locked the door? But you guys, I have
- 2:55Speaker 1: to ask first question, is we before you came on
- 2:59Speaker 1: Dranda Wet and your house is no longer an Airbnb.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Well that was just the one off. It was like
- 3:06Speaker 1: there that was a two. It was more of a promotion.
- 3:09Speaker 1: So what they did is Airbnb approached being said, we
- 3:12Speaker 1: want to do sort of like a thing where we
- 3:14Speaker 1: do to one night stays. It actually was very clever
- 3:18Speaker 1: and they money goes to charity and then you know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you can apply for it was like an auction and
- 3:24Speaker 1: I got like a hundred and seventy six thousand people
- 3:27Speaker 1: that applied for these two one night stays. It was bizarre,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but it was it was. It was beautifully done. What
- 3:32Speaker 1: they did is the person would come at five, I
- 3:35Speaker 1: would meet and greet them welcome to Blue Stone Matter,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and they didn't they got they didn't use the whole
- 3:40Speaker 1: house cameras, so they only like I only had to
- 3:42Speaker 1: have three bedrooms. I'm cringing right now because I know
- 3:45Speaker 1: how you are about your house. Yes, I couldn't have
- 3:47Speaker 1: done it, so I had to just use the fish
- 3:50Speaker 1: room and two guest bedrooms. And isn't the fish room
- 3:54Speaker 1: the one that nobody wants to be in but that
- 3:56Speaker 1: you love well, Like we did it, so it's like
- 3:58Speaker 1: it's now, I guess, and it's a It was always nice.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It was my little it was my stepson's room when
- 4:03Speaker 1: he was a little I think it's beautiful now. Before
- 4:06Speaker 1: I was like a little boy's room. But and they
- 4:10Speaker 1: came at five and they would check in and then
- 4:12Speaker 1: the next morning attend. I would come back and say
- 4:15Speaker 1: how was your night, and then they'd leave. It was
- 4:18Speaker 1: really very basic. And then the next couple came the
- 4:21Speaker 1: following day. But here's the interesting thing. The first couple
- 4:23Speaker 1: came so sweet, like it was almost like they couldn't
- 4:28Speaker 1: figure out, like it was real, Like the woman was
- 4:30Speaker 1: like just staring at me. So I said, listen to
- 4:32Speaker 1: enjoy it. I've got wine out and stuff. So I
- 4:34Speaker 1: came the next day. I said, how did you enjoy
- 4:36Speaker 1: George wad Be at the door. She goes, oh, it
- 4:38Speaker 1: was great. I said, did you like the what was
- 4:40Speaker 1: your favorite? Oh? We didn't sit anywhere. We sat in
- 4:42Speaker 1: the kitchen. I said why. So that was then Ben
- 4:46Speaker 1: this three gay guys came and they had a ball.
- 4:51Speaker 1: They were cool, they were in the closet, they were
- 4:57Speaker 1: they never went to sleep. There's a ought to see
- 5:00Speaker 1: in that house. That's pretty amazing. But you know, what
- 5:04Speaker 1: they did is what I thought was great about airbabies.
- 5:06Speaker 1: They supplied security people, so it's not like it was
- 5:09Speaker 1: a real air baby where you're just left to your
- 5:11Speaker 1: own devices. There was a security person. Airbnb isn't great.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And how much was it at night? They optioned it
- 5:18Speaker 1: for nothing because it was a fundraise. I think it
- 5:20Speaker 1: was like five a night, so it was really nothing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Are you gonna do it again? Everybody's gonna be wondering,
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know, I'll tell you the truth. I was having
- 5:31Speaker 1: a moment yesterday when my third set of relatives showed
- 5:35Speaker 1: up where I was like, I don't want to it's
- 5:38Speaker 1: not so much. I don't I love having the house
- 5:40Speaker 1: but like when you own a house of this size,
- 5:42Speaker 1: you become the main entertainer. So you're the glue. So
- 5:45Speaker 1: everybody comes and stays at my house, and I love it,
- 5:48Speaker 1: but I'm tired. I've had people in my house since
- 5:51Speaker 1: the nineteen How was having that? I made forty five
- 5:55Speaker 1: pounds of bacon. I've never seen so much in my life.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I don't even eat bacon, okay, And all I know
- 6:03Speaker 1: is lenn is making bacon every single morning. I'm going
- 6:06Speaker 1: broke on bacon. And the next season of Girls tremp
- 6:10Speaker 1: or whatever they're gonna call it, well, I heard they're
- 6:13Speaker 1: calling it menopausal mayhammers, menopause matter, menopause matter. I actually
- 6:21Speaker 1: used that in my interview just to let you know.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I think that's well. How how was it? Who do
- 6:27Speaker 1: we get? I mean I wasn't there, so I need
- 6:29Speaker 1: to know who is the hardest for you to get
- 6:32Speaker 1: along with? Let's see if I don't listen. I think
- 6:36Speaker 1: it was the type of thing where, you know, it
- 6:39Speaker 1: was eight we were the the interesting thing when when
- 6:41Speaker 1: it was pitched to me first, it was pitched to
- 6:44Speaker 1: me that it was gonna be you know, I was
- 6:46Speaker 1: talking to Andy about it would you consider, and they
- 6:48Speaker 1: were gonna do four days, so three nights, four days
- 6:50Speaker 1: here and then four days somewhere else, which I think
- 6:53Speaker 1: would have been less work and it would have changed
- 6:56Speaker 1: it up. But then they I don't know what happened,
- 6:58Speaker 1: but all of a sudden the place we were going
- 7:00Speaker 1: to go to fell through and then they had to
- 7:02Speaker 1: change it to eight days. So remember it's like we
- 7:06Speaker 1: come eight people who I mean, I know Tara, but
- 7:08Speaker 1: I don't really know a lot of the other girls
- 7:10Speaker 1: that well. I knew them, but not that well. For
- 7:12Speaker 1: eight days we were here, so it was wild. I
- 7:15Speaker 1: mean it was, aren't you glad? I think that we
- 7:19Speaker 1: made a good show. I think people will laugh, but bribabe,
- 7:22Speaker 1: they'll make it nice, you know what I love. At
- 7:24Speaker 1: the end of it, as we all we all came
- 7:26Speaker 1: out of it talking, you know, where we all a
- 7:28Speaker 1: little wounded would be left. You know how it is,
- 7:30Speaker 1: after you do you stop filming your nervous rack. Your
- 7:32Speaker 1: nervous system was like on fire. But then as time
- 7:35Speaker 1: goes by, you're like, you're making a show to entertain people.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And we had eight very strong women. They're very strong,
- 7:44Speaker 1: so individually they're strong characters and collectively, they're strong characters. Yeah,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and you had in this ninth character, which is kind
- 7:51Speaker 1: of blue Stone manner. Right, so we had nine characters.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean, I I know everyone else is like whatever,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm excited about it, but I don't mind all that stuff.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I want people to laugh fright before I'd be happy,
- 8:04Speaker 1: we all walked away with being friends, like we're on
- 8:07Speaker 1: a group group chat text And how about brand How
- 8:10Speaker 1: about Brandy's text message the other day? I'll tell you too.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I know that was crazy. Hello, what was after all
- 8:19Speaker 1: that stuff happened with Vicky and Steve and we kind
- 8:21Speaker 1: of saw it happening while we were there. Well, you
- 8:25Speaker 1: kind of nailed it, what you say, Yeah, but that
- 8:28Speaker 1: didn't make me feel good. Like I was like, you know,
- 8:31Speaker 1: you know the old thing, I tell it like it is,
- 8:33Speaker 1: but I always make it nice. I told it like
- 8:34Speaker 1: it was, but didn't make it nice. But I could
- 8:36Speaker 1: see the writing on the wall. You know, there's that
- 8:38Speaker 1: old saying that you know, marriage and love is in
- 8:41Speaker 1: your heart, lives in your heart, but dies in your vagina.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You know what I mean. So if you're not having
- 8:46Speaker 1: you know that old sade? Yeah, but I heard that
- 8:49Speaker 1: she's kind of on a date with someone else. No, VICKI,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I think she's starting to date. Yeah, she's trying it.
- 8:55Speaker 1: She calls me she hates it. She she texts me
- 8:57Speaker 1: the other night our face time me, I'm sick as
- 8:59Speaker 1: a dog, and she's like, pack up your face and
- 9:01Speaker 1: I said, no, I'm dying. So I turned all the
- 9:03Speaker 1: lights off, accepted it. And it's some guy she's with
- 9:07Speaker 1: on a day who was very nice. Hey when people
- 9:09Speaker 1: do that. And then she's like, because I told her,
- 9:12Speaker 1: you need to screen these guys. You're you're you're dating?
- 9:14Speaker 1: Radar is horrible, horrible during are you dating? I've been
- 9:21Speaker 1: kind of seeing this going out on day to this guy,
- 9:23Speaker 1: but you know what the thing is, and Tamara knows
- 9:25Speaker 1: this about me. I just don't know how to make
- 9:28Speaker 1: the jump into like bring it to the next level.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I just can't. Well, I'm just where where are you
- 9:32Speaker 1: right now? Well we went Okay, Tamma, you're gonna love
- 9:36Speaker 1: this story. You're waiting for it. So the other night
- 9:38Speaker 1: I went out and I didn't feel good. I had,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I had. I just was getting done with Strap and
- 9:42Speaker 1: the strip really hit me hard. Usually I can get
- 9:45Speaker 1: to Strap in like four or five days because I'm
- 9:47Speaker 1: a carrier, I think because my immune system is not
- 9:49Speaker 1: as strong as it used to be. Uh, it just
- 9:53Speaker 1: and so I told him I didn't feel good, but
- 9:55Speaker 1: insisted I'm going out and it was like our fourth
- 10:00Speaker 1: a fifth day, and uh, you know, he just I
- 10:03Speaker 1: don't know. He started talking about what am I doing
- 10:05Speaker 1: for the weekend? When am I doing over Christmas? What
- 10:07Speaker 1: am I doing over No, your New Year? Something that's
- 10:09Speaker 1: not your business. Okay, So well you had said you're
- 10:13Speaker 1: not sure you're completely open to move on. I don't like, Yeah,
- 10:18Speaker 1: I just I have a question. Do you want to
- 10:20Speaker 1: make out with him? At the end of the night,
- 10:23Speaker 1: was struck. Well, I didn't I and I gave him
- 10:25Speaker 1: a sore throat. I mean, I think that's the day.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It's funny. How are you doing? Two days later? Sorry,
- 10:33Speaker 1: you had to go home early because at one point
- 10:35Speaker 1: I decided to go home. I was it was just
- 10:36Speaker 1: getting too much, and he said, but I hate to
- 10:38Speaker 1: tell you, but I have a start throat. But don't worry.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It's not stressed. Yes, but you know what, there's a
- 10:43Speaker 1: difference between that and it's not that everyone's like, oh,
- 10:46Speaker 1: you're so afraid to having sex. It's not that I'm
- 10:47Speaker 1: afraid to have a sex. I just know when you
- 10:49Speaker 1: take it to the next level, a lot of other
- 10:51Speaker 1: things come with the next level, especially when you know
- 10:54Speaker 1: there's certain people that don't want to be that's that
- 10:57Speaker 1: I want to be capsuled. But I can tell this
- 10:59Speaker 1: guy wants to like, like talk about what are you
- 11:01Speaker 1: doing for the weekend, and I don't. I want to
- 11:03Speaker 1: go a wall on the week because I don't want
- 11:04Speaker 1: anyone to bother me. So maybe you just set up
- 11:08Speaker 1: the boundaries from the beginning and say, kind of this
- 11:10Speaker 1: is who I am. I'm happy that waited too long
- 11:13Speaker 1: after Richard, even though I dated John and never with
- 11:16Speaker 1: you know, John and I never lived together. We only
- 11:17Speaker 1: saw each other two days a week. It was sort
- 11:20Speaker 1: of like I didn't even have a drawer of my house,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you know. And he's still a good friend of mine.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I just think I waited too long. I think I've
- 11:25Speaker 1: gotten too quirky and weird to live with someone full time.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I think it's too I think that ship is sailed.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I've had two hush friends. Yeah, my mom did the
- 11:34Speaker 1: same thing. You did it. You did a good job,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you met someone, you got got right back down the horse.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Jill did it. She got right back down the horse.
- 11:43Speaker 1: And they're not married, right Chill and her. You're not.
- 11:47Speaker 1: But you don't think they waited at this age. You know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: they're very committed and they lived together and they had
- 11:51Speaker 1: they have a life together. I think I've waited too
- 11:54Speaker 1: long too and I've gotten too independent. It's never too late. Well,
- 11:59Speaker 1: you'll you'll know. You'll know if you start to feel
- 12:01Speaker 1: differently than it means that it's something else. If not, listen,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna go back to the city um this week
- 12:06Speaker 1: and I'm gonna see him this week. So did you
- 12:08Speaker 1: meet him on an app or from a person? No.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I was sitting at Omar's. Omar, my friend Omar opened
- 12:14Speaker 1: up this like little private dining club up in the
- 12:17Speaker 1: back of Lagalu. It's like really cool. You go behind
- 12:20Speaker 1: a curtain and everybody super dresses up. It's kind of
- 12:22Speaker 1: like a speakeasy a little bit. And I was sitting
- 12:25Speaker 1: at dinner with like twelve people and he came and
- 12:27Speaker 1: sat down next to me, and I introduced myself and
- 12:30Speaker 1: we're talking and we're having a great time, and all
- 12:32Speaker 1: of a sudden, I'm like, how long have you known
- 12:34Speaker 1: the person that we're having an issue? He goes, oh,
- 12:37Speaker 1: my god, I'm at the wrong table. So he had
- 12:41Speaker 1: so he's like, he just sat at the Mont table.
- 12:43Speaker 1: So then he went over and then afterwards I stopped
- 12:45Speaker 1: and had to drink with him as I was leaving,
- 12:47Speaker 1: And did he know who you were a prior? He
- 12:51Speaker 1: says no, but I don't trust that. And you know what,
- 12:53Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you have to just
- 12:55Speaker 1: assume everybody knows who you are. Well, speaking of that,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you know you're missed on New York. I don't know
- 13:01Speaker 1: what I don't you love. I was thinking about Brandy
- 13:05Speaker 1: the other night saying they last Oh you're gonna love
- 13:08Speaker 1: this study. What they were does that saying you were paused,
- 13:10Speaker 1: you were fired? Oh she was? She got I think
- 13:14Speaker 1: she had a few drinks and she got on the
- 13:15Speaker 1: group text, and well, I have the group test text.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Sometimes the group tests can be really dangerous after a
- 13:23Speaker 1: couple of drinks because you're feeling like, oh, now is
- 13:25Speaker 1: the time to really open up, and then you're like
- 13:27Speaker 1: wake up. The next you're like, yeah, I think it's
- 13:29Speaker 1: time for you to come off pause because they need
- 13:33Speaker 1: you back on that show. What's your what's your opinions?
- 13:37Speaker 1: What do I think of it? Yeah? What's your I
- 13:40Speaker 1: gotta tell you something. I really think I want Shan
- 13:45Speaker 1: a side on this for are you? Yeah? I can
- 13:47Speaker 1: see both sides. I don't hate Channon for telling Emily
- 13:50Speaker 1: and Gina, But the thing is that Emily and Gina
- 13:52Speaker 1: or not her friends. They never have been her friends.
- 13:54Speaker 1: But did she tell them off? Did she tell them
- 13:56Speaker 1: off the show? She did? They She went from filming
- 14:00Speaker 1: from what It Sounds Like to Javier is the bar
- 14:02Speaker 1: in Newport and she started drinking and said, by the way,
- 14:06Speaker 1: this new I mean, there's no way she didn't know
- 14:08Speaker 1: Nicole was the Nicole that was going to be on
- 14:11Speaker 1: the show, because you guys all know as soon as
- 14:13Speaker 1: a new housewife is hired, we google her, we look
- 14:16Speaker 1: at her Instagram. We know this girl's coming on. So
- 14:19Speaker 1: she played dumb like, well, I think it was this
- 14:22Speaker 1: Nicole weeese, but maybe it's this you know what I mean? Well,
- 14:25Speaker 1: I knew that, and I understand what you're saying because
- 14:27Speaker 1: on Heather side, you know, really a tough way to
- 14:30Speaker 1: start questioning his It was candled poorly, yes, but I
- 14:33Speaker 1: do think what it was that bothered me. Wasn't the
- 14:36Speaker 1: Heather side of the Shannon side of it. It was
- 14:39Speaker 1: those two Emily and Jina. Really, you know, I swayed
- 14:43Speaker 1: back and forth with that because I know how Shannon is.
- 14:45Speaker 1: But the thing is like I've had a few drinks
- 14:47Speaker 1: and had loose lips. I've done that before, so I understand.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I just did it. I just did it yesterday with someone,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and I've already gotten in trouble with it. So we do,
- 14:55Speaker 1: especially if you're in the show together. You're like, and
- 14:58Speaker 1: you feel ty, you can you leave the dad and
- 15:01Speaker 1: then you're like, don't say anything. And the thing is true,
- 15:03Speaker 1: Taramra and Teddy is you know better than anyone. If
- 15:06Speaker 1: you're not that type of woman, you probably aren't going
- 15:08Speaker 1: to be a housewife good housewife. Like there our chatter boxes,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you're like the chatter and we'd like to talk about it.
- 15:15Speaker 1: But the thing that here's part of Heather lost a little.
- 15:18Speaker 1: We'd like to fight, you'd like to make up. I
- 15:21Speaker 1: think all of them did did a good part. She
- 15:24Speaker 1: told her. The only thing is like I am friends
- 15:26Speaker 1: with Heather, so I felt bad, Like if you're going
- 15:27Speaker 1: after somebody's likelihood that's not cool. That's right. I did
- 15:31Speaker 1: feel bad and he's I don't know him, but he
- 15:33Speaker 1: appears to be a very great plastic surgeon. I don't
- 15:36Speaker 1: really understand the whole thing because I've been watched it all.
- 15:39Speaker 1: So she accused them of doing a bad boob job. Yeah, evidently,
- 15:46Speaker 1: twenty years ago Nicole got a boot job from Terry.
- 15:50Speaker 1: She had some complications. She said, her agent or attorney
- 15:53Speaker 1: or somebody told her to sue. She attempted to sue it,
- 15:56Speaker 1: then backed out of it. Years later, she met Heather.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think, um, the kids went to school together or
- 16:02Speaker 1: something and became friends. I don't think they were best friends.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I think it's like friends at school acquaintance. Yeah, so
- 16:08Speaker 1: then Heather got her on the show. But you would
- 16:11Speaker 1: think this Nicole Curl would be like, oh, ship, things
- 16:13Speaker 1: are going to come out, And that's what I don't get.
- 16:15Speaker 1: The one that I'm fascinated by is that Noella. Yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I think there's a lot going to be coming out
- 16:22Speaker 1: about her and her story. I really do. I think
- 16:25Speaker 1: so too about you, guys. Before we get into OC
- 16:27Speaker 1: too much, I need to ask you additional Girl's trip.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Did you watch this past season the one with Kyle Ramona,
- 16:34Speaker 1: all of them during that think and you know what,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something I didn't and I'm gonna
- 16:39Speaker 1: tell you what I did think about that, which I'm
- 16:42Speaker 1: hoping and I was saying, I think Tama was saying
- 16:44Speaker 1: this to me, and I was saying the guitar, I'm hoping.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It kind of came and went, and I think it's
- 16:48Speaker 1: a little different viewing with the peac at like I'm
- 16:51Speaker 1: hoping we don't miss a big part of the audience
- 16:54Speaker 1: because a lot of my people in my life haven't
- 16:57Speaker 1: watched it. Like I almost wish it were a Bravo
- 16:59Speaker 1: week because the great thing about the problem the weekly.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Every week we could talk about it and you look
- 17:03Speaker 1: forward to the next one. I gotta tell you, guys
- 17:06Speaker 1: that it was four blocks and four blocks. It kind
- 17:08Speaker 1: of came and went and I was like, oh, it
- 17:10Speaker 1: was on, and my brother Johnny just said, yeah, I
- 17:12Speaker 1: don't know. That's the one thing as talent. I was thinking,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I don't know if I'd like streaking on something that's streaming,
- 17:18Speaker 1: because you're like, they're sting. That's where it's at, you guys.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I am sorry to be the bear and bad news.
- 17:23Speaker 1: But I am the I am against you guys on
- 17:25Speaker 1: this one. So because I wasn't a Housewife watch or
- 17:28Speaker 1: prior to doing Housewives, I loved it. I'm a bene
- 17:31Speaker 1: watch television type person. So for me, I absolutely loved
- 17:35Speaker 1: Girls Trip. I think you guys are going to crush
- 17:37Speaker 1: it as well. Like it's one of those things I
- 17:38Speaker 1: don't want to watch one episode touching. I think for
- 17:41Speaker 1: Trenda and I are talking about as a viewer, it's
- 17:44Speaker 1: great to watch bench watch, but as talent, you like
- 17:47Speaker 1: that build up every week, the different you're you know,
- 17:50Speaker 1: you're only as good as this one, because you know
- 17:52Speaker 1: what I said too, there was none of the like
- 17:54Speaker 1: and next week and the memes and the people talking
- 17:57Speaker 1: about it in the podcast. It kind of came and
- 17:59Speaker 1: up block and then the other block came and it
- 18:02Speaker 1: was done, and I'm I'm just I'm not thinking about
- 18:04Speaker 1: that one. I just haven't had time. You have to
- 18:07Speaker 1: watch it. It's pretty bad because we need to know, like,
- 18:09Speaker 1: what do you think it's officially time for Ramona Togo.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm on pause and I can't speak that now. Listen, like,
- 18:19Speaker 1: remember you don't worry nobody watches our podcast to me,
- 18:23Speaker 1: if I ever went back, what would be my tagline?
- 18:27Speaker 1: It would be I know I've been on pause, but
- 18:29Speaker 1: it's time to play. Yes. So but have you talked
- 18:34Speaker 1: to Ramona? What are your do you think why? And
- 18:36Speaker 1: I don't speak? And you think it's over for her though,
- 18:39Speaker 1: or you think she can make a comeback? You know,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you just you know, you just don't know. You know,
- 18:46Speaker 1: you're always surprised who they keep, who they let go.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I never thought that those Emily and Gina girls would
- 18:52Speaker 1: be there and you wouldn't be this camera like I was.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I was like dunefounded whatever that or Vicky would be gone.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Like to me, you just don't know. And for New York,
- 19:06Speaker 1: it's in such a kerfuffle about how I think what
- 19:10Speaker 1: direction to go and do not that I know this,
- 19:13Speaker 1: but it just seems like we don't know anything kerfuffle.
- 19:16Speaker 1: So I'm just trying to put it out of my mind,
- 19:18Speaker 1: like Damna said, put it out of your mind and
- 19:20Speaker 1: just move on with your life. And I think that's
- 19:22Speaker 1: what you have to do. It's hard, though, right, you know,
- 19:26Speaker 1: reminded of it every single day we turn on social media.
- 19:28Speaker 1: We got downs from people missing one housewive like you
- 19:31Speaker 1: walk the strange people talk about housewise like these these
- 19:34Speaker 1: haters are on on social media like you're fired, You're gone,
- 19:37Speaker 1: stop talking about Housewives. Well, it was a huge part
- 19:40Speaker 1: of my life. Let's say that to people that went
- 19:42Speaker 1: to USC or you see l A that are still
- 19:43Speaker 1: talking about it, like just you know, like it was
- 19:46Speaker 1: a big part of your life. I don't think it's
- 19:47Speaker 1: ever not part of your life. I think once you're
- 19:49Speaker 1: a housewife, it's like the Mafia, you're always you know,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and it's so iconic, the franchise and people sort of
- 19:57Speaker 1: you know, it really built worlds around it that I'm
- 20:02Speaker 1: very proud of. When people yellow and I don't, I'll
- 20:06Speaker 1: be I used the platform to my advantage all the time,
- 20:09Speaker 1: as do we all meant less about it. Do you
- 20:14Speaker 1: think do you think it would work to have jail back? Yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you know, I just listen if okay, I'm probably gonna
- 20:22Speaker 1: get in trouble for this, and there we go, we're off.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I think that the only thing I would say is
- 20:29Speaker 1: the next this season that just passed did not do well.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Obviously I wasn't on it. It wasn't because of me.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I think they were now I think part of it,
- 20:39Speaker 1: but you know, there was COVID, there was it was
- 20:42Speaker 1: a strange mix of women. I think whatever they do next,
- 20:45Speaker 1: it's going to be a major chess move, and I
- 20:48Speaker 1: think everybody's got to really bring their game because you
- 20:51Speaker 1: don't want to show where everybody knows, Like do I
- 20:53Speaker 1: still when people ask me, am I gonna go back?
- 20:56Speaker 1: But do I still have a story to tell? Like
- 20:58Speaker 1: that's how I us. I tapped out like I was
- 21:01Speaker 1: a great housewife. But who knows? You know, you just
- 21:04Speaker 1: don't know. Maybe there's a position to be a friend
- 21:07Speaker 1: and then maybe time for a new group to come
- 21:09Speaker 1: in and start. I just don't know. And that's gonna
- 21:12Speaker 1: be the chess move. If they go with all the
- 21:14Speaker 1: oldies again, yes, but then what's gonna be Like I
- 21:18Speaker 1: don't know, I just don't. I think the audience like
- 21:21Speaker 1: they like to see familiar faces. They don't like any
- 21:23Speaker 1: girls come in, like the thing with Gina and Emily,
- 21:25Speaker 1: Like you said, they've been on the show for four years,
- 21:27Speaker 1: but everybody called the new ones. Those girls, they're people
- 21:31Speaker 1: are not invested in them for some reason. Well, because
- 21:34Speaker 1: here's the thing. When I watched Hugh Tamra before I
- 21:36Speaker 1: knew you, let's say, and that you know, you were
- 21:38Speaker 1: on before New York, and obviously I wasn't not yet.
- 21:42Speaker 1: You know, I kind of every year it was like
- 21:44Speaker 1: it was like peeling an onion. I got to know
- 21:47Speaker 1: you better, Oh that's new, and oh my god this
- 21:50Speaker 1: So you kind of developed this personal relationship with this housewife.
- 21:54Speaker 1: So when I was the audience at that point, I
- 21:55Speaker 1: was like, oh, I know you just went this, Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 1: you just do the one that grows face. And you know,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I felt invested in your story. I don't feel invested
- 22:04Speaker 1: in their story. I don't know. I mean, I know
- 22:06Speaker 1: how you how you feel about Emily camera. But I'm
- 22:08Speaker 1: saying I don't know that it's necessarily some of the
- 22:10Speaker 1: new people's fault. I think they're thrown into It was
- 22:13Speaker 1: such for the supposedly being these organic friendships already that
- 22:18Speaker 1: then all of a sudden it's unable to unfold naturally.
- 22:21Speaker 1: So how do you connect with somebody that you're forced
- 22:23Speaker 1: to connect with? Like That's where I was very lucky
- 22:25Speaker 1: because remember I knew everybody on my cast for like
- 22:28Speaker 1: twenty years. I been to their kids, not everybody I
- 22:30Speaker 1: didn't know Bethany and I knew Carol, but only socially,
- 22:32Speaker 1: like very socially. But you know, I went to these
- 22:34Speaker 1: people's you know, parties, and grew up in their kids,
- 22:37Speaker 1: and so it was really so to film was just
- 22:40Speaker 1: a natural thing. Why do you think Bethany has been
- 22:43Speaker 1: so like negative about Housewives post it did so much
- 22:47Speaker 1: for her career, so much for her life, Like why,
- 22:50Speaker 1: I mean, we're all talking about it, but we're not
- 22:53Speaker 1: bad mouthing at or anything like that. What do you
- 22:55Speaker 1: think it is? Don't think? Do you think she's ma?
- 22:59Speaker 1: She was really up that about the book. I thought,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I don't know how sets the right word, but she
- 23:02Speaker 1: had said how Andy was coping on bad behavior between something.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Don't don't quote me on that. But she was not
- 23:11Speaker 1: happy about that. Um, she didn't participate. She's I didn't go.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I think maybe it's I think I think the housewife's
- 23:21Speaker 1: thing is, you know, it has for all of us,
- 23:23Speaker 1: hasn't beginning the middle and and you know, I don't
- 23:25Speaker 1: know if it's the end for me and camera, you know,
- 23:28Speaker 1: I think, but you know there then then I think
- 23:30Speaker 1: also too, when you do so well and you've moved
- 23:33Speaker 1: into a different life and and you've been so successful,
- 23:36Speaker 1: maybe it's hard to go backwards. I mean, maybe that's
- 23:39Speaker 1: like maybe she's just that's negative. Of She's never been
- 23:41Speaker 1: really negative about it. She expresses her concerned, but I
- 23:45Speaker 1: think we all kind of expressed our concerns. There are
- 23:47Speaker 1: times where you're like, you know, it's a it's a
- 23:50Speaker 1: it's definitely I said, it's like being in the NFL.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You have to go on the field and beat each
- 23:54Speaker 1: other up and then get off the field and pat
- 23:57Speaker 1: each other on the ass and be happy to you know,
- 23:59Speaker 1: you know, or a drink afterwards. But that's a mentality
- 24:02Speaker 1: you get yourself into and when you're out of it,
- 24:04Speaker 1: fully it's probably the look back might be a little different.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm not there yet. Like I still feel very connected
- 24:11Speaker 1: to Bravo and the franchise Into the Girls, But I
- 24:14Speaker 1: like it. I like the whole sorority of it. I like,
- 24:17Speaker 1: that's what I'm like, that's what I miss about it now. Yeah,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I really do. And you know, like Beverly Hills, New York,
- 24:23Speaker 1: you guys really were friends, and you guys ran in
- 24:26Speaker 1: the same circle, and you guys you would disagree, but
- 24:29Speaker 1: you would, you know, come back together. Orange County was
- 24:32Speaker 1: like Survivor, like I'm gonna kill you and your family
- 24:36Speaker 1: and see if you can stand up when you get fired.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I clap like it's such a difference. So it's it's
- 24:41Speaker 1: harder for me to want to go back. I just think, God,
- 24:43Speaker 1: that's it. I went to old school. I want Picky,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I want Heather, I want Megan, I want these people
- 24:49Speaker 1: that you know seasons were and you know, whenever I
- 24:53Speaker 1: was watching that, we went even the other night of
- 24:55Speaker 1: you and all you guys in the Dominican Republic, where um,
- 25:00Speaker 1: what's her name, the one that had the big boobs,
- 25:02Speaker 1: a really Christian one, Alexis Alexis, and it was like
- 25:07Speaker 1: old school housewife and it was housewife fory you you.
- 25:12Speaker 1: It was like, and you love rolling with it. Yeah,
- 25:17Speaker 1: I miss that. I miss the old days in New York.
- 25:20Speaker 1: The other day it was like I woke up with
- 25:21Speaker 1: two in the morning, I took the TV and it
- 25:23Speaker 1: was on. There was a Christmas episode with all of us,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know, doing some up a blue stomy for Christmas,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and he just said that you posted a clip. It
- 25:30Speaker 1: seemed very withnic and natural, and no one worried about
- 25:34Speaker 1: the camera and how they looked in makeup and they
- 25:37Speaker 1: I think there's a little there's a lot of awareness now.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I think they are should go back to the old cast,
- 25:43Speaker 1: the good old days with you and Ramona and well
- 25:46Speaker 1: Bethany probably won't, but just that don't bring a new one.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I feel like the new ones just doesn't work. I'll
- 25:54Speaker 1: be so interested to see you know you're trying not
- 25:56Speaker 1: to think about it, but unfortunately I'm not. Like I'm not,
- 26:00Speaker 1: as I told Teddy at the beginning, like I just
- 26:04Speaker 1: I think it's just still part of my life. I
- 26:05Speaker 1: just I know the days where I'm like, okay about
- 26:08Speaker 1: it and I'm like, no big deal because I thank god,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I'm doing okay and we have to smash up and
- 26:12Speaker 1: there's been nice opportunities that have come. But there's still
- 26:15Speaker 1: days where I'm like, miss it. But I gotta remember
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'm not missing what I was on. I got very
- 26:19Speaker 1: lucky because when I was as Brandy says, fired or
- 26:24Speaker 1: put on pause, Um, it was COVID, So I kind
- 26:28Speaker 1: of yes, were the COVID were the probably maybe you
- 26:33Speaker 1: really do so it did hurt so much. I would
- 26:37Speaker 1: do a lot of this. It's okay because it's COVID.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to be filming anyway. Yeah, for sure.
- 26:43Speaker 1: M okay, So I'm going to start in on my
- 26:47Speaker 1: Instagram questions, which I always do it. It's nothing. Everything
- 26:52Speaker 1: is available to be asked. You can answer, however you
- 26:54Speaker 1: choose first one. If you had to choose one person
- 26:58Speaker 1: on Beverly Hills and oh me that you think you
- 27:01Speaker 1: would clash the most with, who would it be? Okay,
- 27:06Speaker 1: let's see Beverly Hills or oc So Beverly Hills. Well,
- 27:12Speaker 1: oh see, I think it would be Emily. So are
- 27:15Speaker 1: you and Tama like fine texting? Oh my god? I
- 27:19Speaker 1: just I just never and I think a lot like
- 27:23Speaker 1: on Beverly Hills. It's I'm so not Erican at Lisa,
- 27:28Speaker 1: who is else is on Beverly Hills. I love her cars,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I love grselfa. I actually think I fit in perfectly
- 27:38Speaker 1: and Beverly Hills just my cocking in. I think i'd
- 27:43Speaker 1: like I love I love Sutton, Yeah, I kind of don't.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I don't think I could run with it, but I
- 27:49Speaker 1: think they run too fast. I mean I couldn't keep
- 27:52Speaker 1: up with the dressing and I'm an okay dressler with
- 27:55Speaker 1: That's enough. Oh my gosh, I opened up her coat,
- 27:59Speaker 1: close it and it's all Gucci Baton, like Richard ten
- 28:05Speaker 1: years ago. That's all right. They never got to starts back.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And I guess now with all the legs, Tarma, who
- 28:11Speaker 1: would you say, Beverly Hills you would clash with the most? Um?
- 28:17Speaker 1: Maybe Erica? Yeah, yeah, just because I still think you would.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I mean I don't, I wouldn't want to, but I
- 28:23Speaker 1: just feel like I pop off a lot, and I
- 28:26Speaker 1: just think and I think that she would just be
- 28:29Speaker 1: the one to be just like, sit down, a little girl.
- 28:31Speaker 1: She but she wouldn't once, she wouldn't say a little girl.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Here's the thing I and I remember. I didn't get
- 28:36Speaker 1: along with her at first, and it was because you know,
- 28:39Speaker 1: when you have similar personality types and you when immediately
- 28:43Speaker 1: you're put with somebody and you don't know how to feel,
- 28:46Speaker 1: it gives you that uneasy feeling. Yeah, that's what it is.
- 28:49Speaker 1: That's what it is. With Once I actually got to
- 28:52Speaker 1: know her better, I was like, oh, wow, you're not
- 28:54Speaker 1: scary at all. It's just you are similar to me,
- 28:58Speaker 1: and I don't know how to respond to it. Well
- 29:00Speaker 1: here ye, at least the thing with Beverly Hills girls
- 29:02Speaker 1: though that they will disagree with you, but they're not
- 29:04Speaker 1: going to go after you and attack you like they
- 29:07Speaker 1: So I could probably handle any one of them. But
- 29:10Speaker 1: it's so different from what I'm used to like, they're
- 29:13Speaker 1: very it's a very different They're like a family. Yes,
- 29:16Speaker 1: And you know, one thing I have to say, Teddy
- 29:18Speaker 1: about you guys, is you really I really felt like,
- 29:21Speaker 1: and this is probably what happened with New York this year,
- 29:23Speaker 1: you really felt like off camera, you guys were still
- 29:26Speaker 1: hanging out. Yeah. I mean there was a point in
- 29:28Speaker 1: time where we were told by production get off the
- 29:31Speaker 1: group text like you got they don't want you talking.
- 29:34Speaker 1: You're too close Foughtstore five. It's got to stop. You
- 29:40Speaker 1: go with me, Shannon and Vicky being close in the
- 29:42Speaker 1: whole well, Shannon named us that I was very against it,
- 29:46Speaker 1: but um, they didn't like that. Teddy, would you ever
- 29:50Speaker 1: go back? You know? I went and did something, you
- 29:53Speaker 1: know where I had to film something else, and I
- 29:56Speaker 1: made kind of a deal where I'm gonna film this
- 29:58Speaker 1: but in order to do this, and I have to
- 30:01Speaker 1: say that doing it in a part time capacity didn't
- 30:04Speaker 1: feel good. So I would not go back. Not as
- 30:09Speaker 1: a housewife. I think your last season you were so good.
- 30:13Speaker 1: You were so good in your last season. You really
- 30:14Speaker 1: spoke up, and I'm like, what, wait, what she's not
- 30:17Speaker 1: coming back? And your your friends, you guys are friends,
- 30:20Speaker 1: so it doesn't make any sense for me for you
- 30:22Speaker 1: not to be on. But I'm actually kind of okay
- 30:24Speaker 1: with that. Do any of us ever really know when
- 30:27Speaker 1: we're when we're let like we're like it a herd
- 30:30Speaker 1: and like we're in a big field and then all
- 30:31Speaker 1: of a sudden you're pushed out of the heart. Do
- 30:33Speaker 1: we ever really know why we were pushed up? I
- 30:36Speaker 1: have a question. Did you get the meeting? Okay, so
- 30:38Speaker 1: for me, I had the meeting right before, like you
- 30:40Speaker 1: start filming again. Did you get that meeting before you
- 30:43Speaker 1: got what let go or demoted or whatever it is
- 30:47Speaker 1: that you got. I just got a call one day
- 30:49Speaker 1: to tell you the truth. I thought. What happened was
- 30:51Speaker 1: my friend and my very dear friend, John Gizwald, who
- 30:53Speaker 1: was on the show with me. He did door Wobics
- 30:56Speaker 1: with me, and he did it at BRAVOCN and he
- 30:57Speaker 1: was in a lot of the scenes, had died the
- 30:59Speaker 1: day for it. So here I saw that yeah, yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 1: he died unfortunately, and uh, like you know, the Blue
- 31:08Speaker 1: and I was actually believed it or not in the
- 31:10Speaker 1: midst of making a Blue Stone Man of Gingerbread, how
- 31:12Speaker 1: thinking it's COVID, we're gonna be up in the Berkshire's
- 31:15Speaker 1: a lot because I knew I'd had about, you know,
- 31:18Speaker 1: a bad season or a negative season. But I just thought,
- 31:21Speaker 1: well that, you know, every season, someone has something different,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and this season with the mean season, and here we go.
- 31:27Speaker 1: And so I really was I thought I was getting
- 31:30Speaker 1: a call to for my condolences, to tell you the truth.
- 31:34Speaker 1: So I was completely blindstided, but I just kind of,
- 31:40Speaker 1: you know, I just sort of was like, okay, and
- 31:43Speaker 1: you know, and Andie was kept saying, it's just a pause.
- 31:45Speaker 1: It's just a pause. Now, by the grace of God
- 31:47Speaker 1: for all of us. I think it was the best
- 31:48Speaker 1: thing that ever happened, because I don't think I could
- 31:51Speaker 1: have gone back, and just you know, I think it
- 31:54Speaker 1: was very tough filming during COVID, especially in New York,
- 31:56Speaker 1: because New York is such a character of ours and
- 31:58Speaker 1: I I got to write my book, I need to
- 32:00Speaker 1: do the Bourbon, and luckily I got my fingers into
- 32:03Speaker 1: other things because because I think you really could sit
- 32:05Speaker 1: around and really bawl your eyes out and you know,
- 32:08Speaker 1: feel very isolated. Because it's like when you don't go
- 32:11Speaker 1: back to college the first year. You know, you're all
- 32:13Speaker 1: excited you graduated from college, but then fall comes and
- 32:16Speaker 1: you're like, where are my people? Because I enjoy the
- 32:21Speaker 1: routine of filming. I enjoy the whole it's a it's
- 32:25Speaker 1: a hard transition. It's a very hard transition. And anyone
- 32:28Speaker 1: that tells you they're not I think they're lying a
- 32:30Speaker 1: little bit. It's like the same people that say that
- 32:33Speaker 1: they left because they wanted to focus on their family
- 32:35Speaker 1: and such a liar, Like we know, I know what
- 32:40Speaker 1: that means right there, but I mean I think it's
- 32:44Speaker 1: like anything. And also, I rejection never feels good, so
- 32:49Speaker 1: you know, it's pause, even if it's full time break.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I also think too, you know, they managed to pick
- 32:54Speaker 1: real outfit women. I mean, we are women that outside
- 32:57Speaker 1: of the show are strong, successful getters. We're not women
- 33:01Speaker 1: that lose, you know what I mean. We're not women
- 33:03Speaker 1: that they say no to. So for us to fail
- 33:06Speaker 1: is like what you know what I mean? I have
- 33:08Speaker 1: a racehorse? Okay, do you do you see this bloodline
- 33:14Speaker 1: barons pumping. I'm gonna fight for this. I mean, I
- 33:18Speaker 1: make it nice. Give you okay, So top three things
- 33:22Speaker 1: to make it nice? What do you need to do?
- 33:25Speaker 1: And any you can pick any avenue in life? Top
- 33:29Speaker 1: three things to make it nice? Um? Oh god. I
- 33:34Speaker 1: would say the top three things to make it nice
- 33:37Speaker 1: is to make sure that everything is all set ready
- 33:40Speaker 1: to go when people arrive at your house. Organized. Done. Yeah,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I've got to stay very organized. Number two, I would say,
- 33:48Speaker 1: have lots of booze good. And number three, make sure
- 33:57Speaker 1: that everybody knows their departure date and they by it
- 34:00Speaker 1: and they hurt. Everybody reads that reads the rules in
- 34:03Speaker 1: the bedroom, at least the rules. I have a rule
- 34:06Speaker 1: thing by the bed for everybody. Did everybody's rooms? I
- 34:09Speaker 1: didn't read it? Oh no, did you eat in your room? Oh?
- 34:12Speaker 1: I haven't right here? Yea, I'm so. I can't say, actually,
- 34:18Speaker 1: haven't it right here? Here we go? Okay, So what
- 34:22Speaker 1: are the rules that's here? Rules number one, rules of
- 34:25Speaker 1: the manner. No shoes upstairs because I have all carpetty
- 34:29Speaker 1: carpet and stuff, and I just don't like the dirt upstairs.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I just think it's yucky when people I'll try. It's
- 34:35Speaker 1: a country house, so you know that. I was film
- 34:37Speaker 1: no food or back which upstairs, no bever you kind
- 34:40Speaker 1: of water, no water, but I mean like no no,
- 34:44Speaker 1: So I'm not gonna say who, but someone's spilt. I
- 34:46Speaker 1: just had to have a chair. We coverage for thirteen
- 34:49Speaker 1: and a half thousand dollars because the whole thing coffee
- 34:51Speaker 1: was built on it. Sorry, they paid for it. That
- 34:54Speaker 1: don't worry. Any questions please act. The third one was
- 34:57Speaker 1: this was made for them. Any questions please, asked Lady
- 35:00Speaker 1: of the manor. And number four remember buying your manners?
- 35:04Speaker 1: That's okay. So were these rules made for the filming
- 35:06Speaker 1: or was this they always in there? These? Well they
- 35:10Speaker 1: I never allowed shoes upstairs because otherwime, my, my, your
- 35:13Speaker 1: carpets white. Well it's it's like a masny stripe f
- 35:17Speaker 1: You know what? It got filthy from all the crew.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You know, do you know camera? I can tell you
- 35:22Speaker 1: this little bit bit. You guys left on the Thursday,
- 35:27Speaker 1: so they came we started filming on the what to
- 35:32Speaker 1: my house. They came to my house on the tents
- 35:35Speaker 1: to set up and they didn't leave into the Oh
- 35:38Speaker 1: my god, wow, we had a lot of people care
- 35:42Speaker 1: we you don't remember, but at one point we had
- 35:43Speaker 1: a hundred and six people, but we had that whole
- 35:46Speaker 1: like village. Say there was there untrailer. Could you imagine
- 35:53Speaker 1: what the budget was for COVID testing. But I have
- 35:57Speaker 1: to say they were very good about you know, because
- 35:59Speaker 1: I one point, when they all left, the last trailer
- 36:01Speaker 1: went down, I was like, oh my god, my driveway
- 36:03Speaker 1: looks like Coachella. I had no more life. I literally
- 36:06Speaker 1: was like Coachella left. And luck that they were very
- 36:10Speaker 1: good about coming in and taking care of everything. And
- 36:13Speaker 1: then during the what would you say the biggest difference
- 36:16Speaker 1: to filming girls trip or menopauseman or whatever, It wasn't even.
- 36:19Speaker 1: It wasn't even. It wasn't even close. I mean, this
- 36:22Speaker 1: thing was a huge production. You gotta remember when they filmed.
- 36:26Speaker 1: When they filmed us here. First of all, they come
- 36:28Speaker 1: on a Friday morning and they leave on a Sunday.
- 36:31Speaker 1: They come with like six cameramen, and it's very sort
- 36:34Speaker 1: of like fundamental almost did you guys have three crew?
- 36:37Speaker 1: So we Tamer and I both had the same production company.
- 36:40Speaker 1: So we had a crew and B crew and secret
- 36:42Speaker 1: when you did New York? Was it the same thing
- 36:44Speaker 1: for you guys? Yeah, but they didn't have all three
- 36:47Speaker 1: crews up here. I mean we Tamera can tell you.
- 36:49Speaker 1: We had grown people, we had production people, we had
- 36:53Speaker 1: huge mean, there were hundreds of people on on my property.
- 36:56Speaker 1: And I really didn't to tell you the truth when
- 36:59Speaker 1: I got because we all got the same contract. I
- 37:02Speaker 1: thought I was going to start. When they started, I
- 37:04Speaker 1: realized that there was going to be like six days
- 37:06Speaker 1: before where people major set up, right, I mean it was.
- 37:11Speaker 1: It was pretty wild. Would you have done it again
- 37:14Speaker 1: and had them host in your house? Knowing now I
- 37:18Speaker 1: wouldn't have. I don't. I think it was too hard
- 37:21Speaker 1: right after covid to do it for eight days. I
- 37:22Speaker 1: wish we stayed for the four and miss mixed it
- 37:25Speaker 1: up like at another place. I think that would have
- 37:27Speaker 1: been a little But listen, I think it's gonna be great.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I'm not taking away from it, but for one person
- 37:32Speaker 1: to host, and you know, they really wanted me to,
- 37:35Speaker 1: Like you saw them every day like I did Chesterfield,
- 37:38Speaker 1: Like they didn't know the Berkshire, so I was coming
- 37:40Speaker 1: up and hosting agent. Did you guys have chefs and
- 37:44Speaker 1: housekeepers and or did you get But I gotta tell
- 37:47Speaker 1: you something. It was amazing and I think to Tama
- 37:49Speaker 1: would I didn't realize, which was not a problem, but
- 37:53Speaker 1: it was very you know, I don't really have that
- 37:55Speaker 1: many people in my house ever at one time, especially
- 37:58Speaker 1: for eight days. I didn't realize that every thing in
- 38:00Speaker 1: my house was going to be used, like all my
- 38:02Speaker 1: Christmas duffy. I came home one day, everyone my Christmas
- 38:05Speaker 1: decoration had Christmas in July. I come home another day,
- 38:10Speaker 1: and all my plates every day, which is great, but
- 38:13Speaker 1: you know, it was a that's a real loss to
- 38:15Speaker 1: control because I was gonna say, I'm such a control freak,
- 38:18Speaker 1: so I wouldn't have liked it. I wouldn't even going crazy.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I know every day this day I had to I
- 38:24Speaker 1: had to really just say let go and let God
- 38:26Speaker 1: on because like I can't find stuff, and I just
- 38:29Speaker 1: because I think when they packed up, especially to Grige,
- 38:31Speaker 1: like all that Christmas stuff somehow got packed up. I
- 38:34Speaker 1: don't know, I can't find it. I don't Gradge just
- 38:36Speaker 1: sort of I haven't dealt with it. I could be wrong.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I'm not blaming, but it was a loss. Like I
- 38:41Speaker 1: am a type as far as you see how organized, well,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I would have to say, Direnda, if it wasn't for you,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm not going to give anything away, but if it
- 38:49Speaker 1: wasn't for you, we would not have had probably the
- 38:52Speaker 1: best show. I know this is gonna be the most
- 38:55Speaker 1: abasing show. Um. Yeah, it's gonna be amazing, but it's
- 38:59Speaker 1: I think the fa part was. But the hot air
- 39:01Speaker 1: ball I woke up in the morning, the hot air
- 39:03Speaker 1: balloon was over the house. That was and I got
- 39:07Speaker 1: a beautiful moon. I sawhow got the guy to get
- 39:09Speaker 1: a blue ballooon, and I was like, now, this is
- 39:12Speaker 1: beautiful production value. That was beautiful and visually it's kind
- 39:16Speaker 1: of amazing, I hope. So listen, we have to let
- 39:19Speaker 1: go and like gods and nowadays out there we did
- 39:21Speaker 1: our best. You know, I think we were troopers. I
- 39:24Speaker 1: think for any women to spend that don't know each
- 39:26Speaker 1: other that well, eight days post COVID together morning, noon,
- 39:31Speaker 1: and night in one house, it's pretty amazing. But you
- 39:35Speaker 1: have to let me finish with one last question for
- 39:37Speaker 1: both of you guys, you cannot pick each other. Who
- 39:41Speaker 1: is the one person that you felt closest with leaving
- 39:45Speaker 1: girls trimp or whatever we're calling it. I would say
- 39:51Speaker 1: Padre and Eva. I spent a lot of time with them,
- 39:53Speaker 1: and I stayed really close to them, but I'll be
- 39:55Speaker 1: honest with you, I kind of folk a little closer
- 39:57Speaker 1: to each one in a different way, you know, I can.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I felt like I more understood them, but Ata I
- 40:03Speaker 1: never really knew and if I spent every morning with
- 40:06Speaker 1: before a radio show, and I didn't think I'd have
- 40:08Speaker 1: that kind of close relationship with them, And was there
- 40:12Speaker 1: anybody that you thought you were going to feel a
- 40:14Speaker 1: certain way about it and shocked you? Yeah, I yes,
- 40:20Speaker 1: I think so I didn't. I think Brandy probably at
- 40:23Speaker 1: some times. I'm sure she felt it with me too,
- 40:25Speaker 1: because I didn't, you know, really understand all the nights
- 40:28Speaker 1: and all that. You know, she really knows how to
- 40:31Speaker 1: stir it up, you know, she really knows how to
- 40:32Speaker 1: push all they like that. There's at one point where
- 40:35Speaker 1: I'm like, show up. You know. I saw a different
- 40:39Speaker 1: side to Brandy because I only knew like the fighting,
- 40:42Speaker 1: mean side going after me on social media and stuff
- 40:45Speaker 1: like that. Um, so I did see a softer side
- 40:48Speaker 1: to her that I was shocked to say. She does
- 40:49Speaker 1: had That's what she's very vulnerable, and there's something about
- 40:52Speaker 1: her that one minute you can be angry about it,
- 40:54Speaker 1: the next point you feel sympathetic and you want to
- 40:57Speaker 1: help her. She's got a very um yeah, don't you
- 41:00Speaker 1: feel that way? And then probably for me it was
- 41:03Speaker 1: probably well, I shared a room with VICKI so, and
- 41:04Speaker 1: I know Vicky the best, So I've probably walked away
- 41:08Speaker 1: being close. I don't know if I could be closer
- 41:10Speaker 1: to her, but yeah, that was your person. Yeah, you guys, well,
- 41:15Speaker 1: I cannot wait to watch. Do we know a month
- 41:17Speaker 1: yet that it's going to be released? Is it coming soon?
- 41:20Speaker 1: I think in March or April? Right, Tama? They don't
- 41:23Speaker 1: you know how they would even tell us the name
- 41:26Speaker 1: of it. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you. People think that
- 41:28Speaker 1: we're being coquettish. And you know this better than anyone, Tamma.
- 41:32Speaker 1: But when people are like so, and someone said to
- 41:33Speaker 1: me and they oh, yeah, sure you don't, I said,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I really don't know. They give you no information. Heard.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I literally just found out I have an interview on
- 41:41Speaker 1: January time. Oh I just didn't if I did my
- 41:44Speaker 1: first one, I have a second one coming up. That's
- 41:47Speaker 1: always fun. The interview is replaying it, so I don't
- 41:52Speaker 1: give my feeling to her, So go ahead, you can
- 41:53Speaker 1: say whatever you want about me in my interviews. She
- 41:56Speaker 1: doesn't get her, she doesn't get her feelings her. But
- 41:59Speaker 1: we'll talk about it here whatever it is exactly. And
- 42:01Speaker 1: then I just didn't take it too serious. Well you
- 42:04Speaker 1: don't think that, I said to Andy, because I'm stay know.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna start doing a radio show with with Andy
- 42:11Speaker 1: Radio Andy in January called make It Nice. I had
- 42:13Speaker 1: I did it before and then COVID happened. They just
- 42:15Speaker 1: didn't take me up with. Now I want to start
- 42:17Speaker 1: it one week and I'm like, can I talk about
- 42:19Speaker 1: it there? You know what I mean? Like, it's because
- 42:22Speaker 1: we're gonna be in the midst of it. It is
- 42:24Speaker 1: what it is. It's all you know. This is all's
- 42:27Speaker 1: fun and more in love and gains and relationships. The
- 42:29Speaker 1: good news is we all left feeling I think closer.
- 42:35Speaker 1: It's a sisterhood. It's like we're sister you know, Like
- 42:39Speaker 1: I just this is my sister the other day, and
- 42:43Speaker 1: she's coming here this afternoon. We get we cycled through
- 42:46Speaker 1: it because we all know what we're doing. We all
- 42:50Speaker 1: are good at it, and We're all strong, powerful women
- 42:54Speaker 1: that you know, have something to say in the world,
- 42:56Speaker 1: and I like that. Now you've used your platform for
- 42:58Speaker 1: many great things, and you have a bourbon, you have
- 43:02Speaker 1: a book out, and now a radio show and a
- 43:05Speaker 1: candle candle. Hold on, I did not get a candle Torenda,
- 43:11Speaker 1: and we are d M friends, and I'm very excited
- 43:14Speaker 1: about my bluster at a bourbon. We sold over two
- 43:16Speaker 1: thousand bottles already. That's even up two months. Well, it
- 43:20Speaker 1: sounds delicious. We are so grateful that you came on.
- 43:22Speaker 1: You were supposed to be filling in for Tamor because
- 43:24Speaker 1: she was saying she called it together for you, so
- 43:29Speaker 1: thank you so much for coming. I'm sad we're out
- 43:31Speaker 1: of town. Thank you for having me and I really
- 43:34Speaker 1: love your thanks. Feel better. Thank you, Bye bye. Hey
- 43:41Speaker 1: guys and Ashley from the Almost Famous podcast. It's that
- 43:44Speaker 1: time of year where drama fills the air. The Bachelor
- 43:49Speaker 1: was back with an all new season premiering January three.
- 43:53Speaker 1: There's a new host, Jesse Palmer, and a brand new Bachelor, Clayton.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Clayton is a Midwest boy that has that great nice
- 44:01Speaker 1: teeth and he's really tall as let's call it what
- 44:04Speaker 1: it is. He's a beefcake. Okay. Well, Clayton seems to
- 44:09Speaker 1: be a good guy though, and he can't wait to
- 44:12Speaker 1: find love, get married, and have kids. And he believes
- 44:16Speaker 1: more than anything that his future wife is on this show.
- 44:19Speaker 1: It sounds like a fairy tale but also a bit
- 44:22Speaker 1: of an emotional world coaster because Clayton tells three different
- 44:25Speaker 1: women he's falling in love with him. Technically, he told one,
- 44:30Speaker 1: I couldn't be more sure that I'm falling in love
- 44:33Speaker 1: with him, and another one, I'm falling in love with you,
- 44:37Speaker 1: and the third one, I am in love with you.
- 44:40Speaker 1: You don't miss a thing. It's from years of over
- 44:43Speaker 1: analyzing everything that guys say. But his heart is in
- 44:46Speaker 1: the right place, But other parts of him as we
- 44:52Speaker 1: find out what he admits that two different women that
- 44:54Speaker 1: he was intimate with both of them. Yeah, I don't
- 44:57Speaker 1: think it's gonna go over Well, we'll be breaking down
- 44:59Speaker 1: it all the Almost Famous podcast Ben is Married Now
- 45:03Speaker 1: Well Ashley's a Mom will change your opinions of what
- 45:07Speaker 1: we think is acceptable single behavior. Good question find out
- 45:11Speaker 1: on the Almost Famous podcast on iHeart Radio and wherever
- 45:14Speaker 1: you listen to podcast. Well tam, How do you think
- 45:25Speaker 1: I went like, is there anything she didn't share? Well,
- 45:28Speaker 1: there's a lot. She probably didn't share our notes and
- 45:30Speaker 1: share just because we can't see much about the the
- 45:33Speaker 1: season two of the Girls trip. But I think that, Yeah,
- 45:38Speaker 1: you're just gonna have to wait. I know there's a lot.
- 45:41Speaker 1: It was an intense filming eight days. And when I
- 45:44Speaker 1: said we couldn't have done it without her, you're gonna
- 45:46Speaker 1: learn why we couldn't have done it without her. Not
- 45:49Speaker 1: just because I'm not talking about the house. She brought it.
- 45:53Speaker 1: She was in full form. She was in full form.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Can't wait? Sure, Why didn't we should have talked about
- 46:02Speaker 1: next time? When that airs, we have to have her
- 46:04Speaker 1: back on and we're gonna we're gonna do a little
- 46:06Speaker 1: therapy session between the two of you. Yeah, of course
- 46:09Speaker 1: when we're going at it. I was in a cheese string,
- 46:10Speaker 1: so that's lovely. Oh yeah, Hi, by the way, thanks
- 46:16Speaker 1: for the vibrator and arrived yesterday. Awesome. I'm glad. Oh
- 46:20Speaker 1: my gosh. All right, you guys sending any questions you
- 46:22Speaker 1: have to teas in a pod. We love doing these
- 46:25Speaker 1: with you and we'll talk to you soon. Oh, Happy
- 46:27Speaker 1: New Year. Happy new Year,
