1:05
SPEAKER_01: Mustache, yeah.
1:06
SPEAKER_03: So they've heard your dulcet tones so far, but they've not actually seen you recorded so now I see my ugly muck.
1:11
SPEAKER_03: Oh shush.
1:12
SPEAKER_03: But what they do need to see is your t-shirt.
1:15
SPEAKER_01: My t-shirt.
1:16
SPEAKER_01: There we go.
1:16
SPEAKER_01: Can you see that?
1:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's fabulous, isn't it?
1:20
SPEAKER_03: He's very hairy.
1:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I like him.
1:22
SPEAKER_03: No, no, mum, that's that's not a that that's a compliment.
1:24
SPEAKER_03: Uh he's a hairy fairy.
1:26
SPEAKER_03: He is a hairy fairy.
1:28
SPEAKER_01: Berry hairy fairy.
1:29
SPEAKER_03: A very hairy fairy.
1:30
SPEAKER_03: Love it.
1:31
SPEAKER_03: That's it.
1:31
SPEAKER_03: Love it, love it, love it.
1:32
SPEAKER_01: So, but he's he's getting a bit worn now.
1:35
SPEAKER_01: So I need to find another one.
1:36
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it might be a design.
1:38
SPEAKER_03: You want to print you one?
1:38
SPEAKER_03: Because I've got my t-shirt machine over there.
1:41
SPEAKER_01: Oh no, there's an idea.
1:42
SPEAKER_03: That thing there that's covered up is my t-shirt printer machine.
1:46
SPEAKER_01: Ooh, don't tell me that.
1:48
SPEAKER_01: So you'll have a lift.
1:50
SPEAKER_03: I can I can print out any design you want.
1:53
SPEAKER_03: I've got loads of t-shirt ideas.
1:56
SPEAKER_03: Very offensive ones that I wouldn't want to necessarily have printed elsewhere because of that offensive.
2:01
SPEAKER_03: But I can do them on me.
2:03
SPEAKER_03: Just walk around with any offensive t-shirts on that I print myself.
2:06
SPEAKER_03: But on some of them, I won't put the Pather Cell podcast on because of that offensive.
2:09
SPEAKER_01: I've seen I've seen one online that I quite like the look of, but I don't know if I could get away wearing it.
2:13
SPEAKER_03: Oh right, right.
2:14
SPEAKER_01: It says, um, break my hole, not my heart.
2:17
SPEAKER_01: You could.
2:18
unknown: Fuck you.
2:19
SPEAKER_03: In certain circles, maybe not.
2:21
SPEAKER_03: You know, maybe not in church or at the school gates.
2:25
SPEAKER_03: School gates, good.
2:26
SPEAKER_03: School gates.
2:27
SPEAKER_01: That'd be hilarious.
2:28
SPEAKER_01: I'd do that though.
2:30
SPEAKER_01: I would do that.
2:31
SPEAKER_03: You would.
2:31
SPEAKER_03: You would.
2:32
SPEAKER_01: I would.
2:33
SPEAKER_01: Before we start.
2:34
SPEAKER_01: Go on.
2:35
SPEAKER_03: Oh, oh, oh, oh.
2:38
SPEAKER_01: I've got something for you.
2:44
SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
2:47
SPEAKER_03: Told you, didn't I?
2:48
SPEAKER_03: Suck at it.
2:49
SPEAKER_03: How small have they got?
2:51
SPEAKER_03: It's actually very shiny as well.
2:52
SPEAKER_03: I polished it.
2:53
SPEAKER_03: You actually polished it.
2:54
SPEAKER_03: I polished it.
2:54
SPEAKER_03: Did you just do that or did you give it a big?
2:56
SPEAKER_01: No, I gave it a good old thing with a microfibre cloth.
2:58
SPEAKER_03: Microfiber.
2:59
SPEAKER_01: Microfibre gives it the best polish.
3:02
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
3:03
SPEAKER_03: Fucking polishing the apple with a microfibrecloth.
3:06
SPEAKER_03: The pink as well.
3:07
SPEAKER_03: And it's been washed.
3:08
SPEAKER_03: Thank you very much.
3:09
SPEAKER_03: I mean, they are quite small, but they're tiny now, apples.
3:12
SPEAKER_01: I don't understand.
3:12
SPEAKER_03: They used to be like that.
3:14
SPEAKER_03: Right, we're going to move on because we're going to be wittering already, aren't we?
3:17
SPEAKER_00: We are.
3:18
SPEAKER_03: And the the big news.
3:20
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I have to still have talked about this, loads of who were leaving the club.
3:23
SPEAKER_03: But the big news, this weekend, we had our leaving party.
3:26
SPEAKER_01: We did.
3:27
SPEAKER_03: Didn't we?
3:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
3:28
SPEAKER_01: You invited me along.
3:29
SPEAKER_03: It was really, really, really good.
3:31
SPEAKER_03: What did you think?
3:32
SPEAKER_03: Uh well, I didn't venture upstairs.
3:34
SPEAKER_01: No.
3:35
SPEAKER_03: Neither did I.
3:37
SPEAKER_01: But it was a really good night.
3:39
SPEAKER_01: Um, fantastic atmosphere.
3:42
SPEAKER_01: Um, to see you with a load of people that you've known over the years was absolutely wonderful.
3:46
SPEAKER_01: Um, and um your speech brought a few tears to a few people's eyes.
3:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I could see it happening.
3:52
SPEAKER_01: Um, I thought I was gonna cry.
3:54
SPEAKER_03: Didn't I think I've I've shed me tears.
3:56
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
3:57
SPEAKER_03: Not that there was many.
3:58
SPEAKER_03: I have had had some tears, but I've actually shed more tears at running Townhouse.
4:05
SPEAKER_03: Um, just with like stress and different things over the past couple of years.
4:08
SPEAKER_03: So I think I've shed all the tears I'm gonna shed.
4:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh and it's now just because it's the right time, and it's it's exciting, you know, the new chapter.
4:15
SPEAKER_03: I don't feel sad.
4:17
SPEAKER_03: I think the tears when I've shed them, it's not sadness, it's memories.
4:21
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
4:22
SPEAKER_03: More than anything.
4:23
SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I mean?
4:23
SPEAKER_03: Reflection, yeah.
4:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
4:25
SPEAKER_03: Um, and on Saturday, I thought I was gonna whinge, but because there were so many people that we knew from years ago, you know, some of them actually worked out, one couple we've known for 20 years.
4:36
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
4:37
SPEAKER_03: And um absolutely lovely.
4:40
SPEAKER_03: Loads people have known for years, and it was just more that just like the the reflection on everything, but I was like, no, this is a great night with all my mates that we haven't seen for years, reflect on the good times, but it was it was happy good times, and it was just great.
4:55
SPEAKER_03: And so I didn't I didn't have tears in my eyes because it was just I was high on the happy side, just seeing everybody again and they were telling me about stuff, and even when it did be speech, even though the words were quite emotional, um, it was almost like a positive like look at all the things town has seen over all these years.
5:14
SPEAKER_01: Well, all the images that were coming up on the screen as well.
5:17
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, some nice photos coming up.
5:19
SPEAKER_03: It was a great, great night, and Jim stayed as well.
5:21
SPEAKER_01: So of course to what normally Jim goes for no matter what we do, he goes out the door, doesn't he?
5:26
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
5:27
SPEAKER_01: Ten.
5:29
SPEAKER_03: So he stayed as well, looking very dapper as well.
5:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, all suited and booted, wasn't he?
5:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
5:34
SPEAKER_03: So yeah, that was it.
5:35
SPEAKER_03: He's knocking everyone.
5:36
SPEAKER_03: No, he always does.
5:38
SPEAKER_03: He always does, he's terrible.
5:40
SPEAKER_03: He's loose-lipped, I'm telling you.
5:41
SPEAKER_03: He offers the mouth to anybody.
5:42
SPEAKER_03: Well, he doesn't, no, he doesn't offer not to anybody.
5:45
SPEAKER_03: But once he gets on one and there's a you know, people in there that he likes that he starts handing the kisses out, and that's it.
5:51
SPEAKER_03: And occasionally, if the lady offers, he'll bury his face in a in a cleavage or two as well.
5:57
SPEAKER_03: And go he loves her, he loves her.
6:01
SPEAKER_03: So, yes, that was our party.
6:03
SPEAKER_03: We're all over and done with now.
6:05
SPEAKER_03: We're we're that side's concerned.
6:06
SPEAKER_03: I've got one more on uh the 1st of May with our fetishists.
6:10
SPEAKER_03: We've got a leaving duper fetishists, got a big scene planned, that'll be Harry.
6:14
SPEAKER_03: Really good.
6:15
SPEAKER_03: Well, apart from that, it's a week today.
6:17
SPEAKER_01: A week today.
6:18
SPEAKER_03: Till we go.
6:21
SPEAKER_03: It's a week today.
6:22
SPEAKER_01: We can't wait.
6:24
SPEAKER_03: Can't wait.
6:25
SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, there you go.
6:27
SPEAKER_03: And the other big news that we've got coming up, because you're not gonna be here for a little while, uh, it's a big birthday of yours.
6:35
SPEAKER_03: Look at your face!
6:37
SPEAKER_01: Far calf.
6:38
SPEAKER_03: Far calf.
6:41
SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm getting old.
6:42
SPEAKER_03: Are you are you gonna say how old you are?
6:44
SPEAKER_03: 40.
6:48
SPEAKER_01: No.
6:50
SPEAKER_03: So he's not as old as me.
6:52
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
6:56
SPEAKER_01: Yes, it's my big 5-0.
6:59
SPEAKER_03: It is, and um do you know what?
7:01
SPEAKER_03: It comes for the best of us, and I keep telling you that it's not that bad.
7:05
SPEAKER_01: No, but I I'm I'm waiting for the day when it when it turns and I can I can legitimately be a cunt.
7:12
SPEAKER_03: Well, I said this to you, didn't I?
7:13
SPEAKER_03: You become intolerant.
7:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I think you're intolerant anyway in your 40s, but when you get to 50, like I said to you, your intolerance is exposed to the public and you're not afraid to share it and show it.
7:26
SPEAKER_03: Come and join the cunt club.
7:29
SPEAKER_03: Maybe not.
7:30
SPEAKER_03: Oh no.
7:31
SPEAKER_03: Oh no.
7:34
SPEAKER_03: Okay, like figuratively, not literally.
7:38
SPEAKER_03: I would never ask that of you.
7:40
SPEAKER_01: But I'm not gonna be here for it.
7:42
SPEAKER_03: You're not, you're going away, aren't you?
7:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm I'm taking myself off to Grand Canaria to go on my own as well.
7:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
7:48
SPEAKER_01: Take some time off and go and party.
7:50
SPEAKER_03: That's it, go and party.
7:51
SPEAKER_01: See my forties out and then regret my forties or in my fifties.
7:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
7:57
SPEAKER_03: But at least you start in your fifties on, like, you know, a a good good innans, aren't you?
8:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'll be in my happy place as well.
8:03
SPEAKER_01: So it'd be nice to see how the place has changed.
8:06
SPEAKER_01: Um, see some old friends that are still out there, which will be quite nice.
8:09
SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
8:10
SPEAKER_03: Good, good for you.
8:11
SPEAKER_01: Too right.
8:11
SPEAKER_03: So a week you go for a five days.
8:13
SPEAKER_03: Five nights.
8:13
SPEAKER_01: Five nights.
8:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
8:14
SPEAKER_01: I wasn't allowed to go for a week.
8:16
SPEAKER_03: Well, do you know the fact that you've been allowed to go out for five days and you're leaving it behind all that.
8:22
SPEAKER_01: The vile bitch has now turned around and said, Why didn't you book a week?
8:24
SPEAKER_01: And I said, Because you said I couldn't.
8:27
SPEAKER_03: So I want um lots of pictures.
8:29
SPEAKER_03: I don't need evidence of everything that you get up to.
8:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm a good boy.
8:33
unknown: Yeah.
8:34
SPEAKER_03: Um, just just photos of the beach and drinks and nothing else.
8:38
SPEAKER_01: Do you want those photos on the beach?
8:41
SPEAKER_01: Because you know the gay beach is nudist.
8:44
SPEAKER_03: Well, it's a little bit inappropriate, but no.
8:46
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
8:48
SPEAKER_01: Done.
8:49
SPEAKER_03: Send me a package, George.
8:53
SPEAKER_03: Right, so we're gonna move on.
8:54
SPEAKER_03: So, oh, before I do, today is my nan's birthday.
8:58
SPEAKER_00: Oh.
9:00
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, God rest.
9:01
SPEAKER_03: I think she would have been uh 95, I think, today.
9:03
SPEAKER_03: So 23rd of April is today.
9:05
SPEAKER_03: Uh but this is going out on the 30th of April.
9:09
SPEAKER_03: And um quite a few little things were going on on this day, but one of them, I thought I'd just bring it up and just see what your thoughts are.
9:17
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
9:18
SPEAKER_03: It's not controversial, it's not naughty, saucy, it's just one of these things that me and Jim have talked about quite a lot, and I want to get your opinion on it.
9:26
SPEAKER_03: So, very briefly, on the 29th of April, Hitler married Eva Braun.
9:34
SPEAKER_03: Right.
9:35
SPEAKER_03: His long-term girlfriend.
9:36
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
9:36
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
9:37
SPEAKER_03: On the 30th, he died.
9:40
SPEAKER_03: He committed above.
9:41
SPEAKER_01: So on the 29th and then the 30th.
9:43
SPEAKER_03: 30th, yeah.
9:44
SPEAKER_03: So basically they got married knowing that he was gonna kill himself.
9:49
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
9:49
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
9:49
SPEAKER_03: So I think she was cyanide and he shot himself, I think.
9:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
9:52
SPEAKER_03: And then the bodies were supposedly dragged out, put into the ground, and set alight.
9:58
SPEAKER_03: Do you think that happened?
9:59
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
10:00
SPEAKER_03: Do you think he's dead?
10:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
10:02
SPEAKER_03: 100% categorically.
10:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
10:04
SPEAKER_03: Have you seen any uh programmes, research, or anything or something?
10:08
SPEAKER_01: No, but I just I just don't think that they would have let someone like that live without going on trial.
10:14
SPEAKER_01: When you see how they put everyone else on the trial at the Nuremberg and everything, I don't think he would have been allowed to disappear.
10:25
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so there's a programme out there.
10:27
SPEAKER_03: I'll have to ask Jim why it's called.
10:29
SPEAKER_03: About a sixth part, I think, something like that.
10:31
SPEAKER_03: And a whole load of academics, scientists, historians, architects, all sorts of different people, have come together over many years to research what happened that night in the bunker.
10:46
SPEAKER_03: And if there was a possibility that he didn't die that night, because the the reason being is that we know that there's ex-Nazis, or was, in Argentina, in South Carolina.
10:58
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
10:59
SPEAKER_03: We know that.
11:00
SPEAKER_03: We also know that some uh German scientists maybe not necessarily call themselves Nazis, but I'm sure while they were working, they had the swastika on, they have worked with the US military and NASA.
11:13
SPEAKER_01: Well, didn't weren't they responsible for actually finalising the atom bomb?
11:16
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
11:17
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
11:17
SPEAKER_03: So the the we know that a lot of Nazis have gone on, or German scientists, etc., have gone on um to to do trailblazing stuff, actually.
11:26
SPEAKER_03: We and we know some of it in hiding.
11:29
SPEAKER_03: So this team of people over years have looked into the possibility that Hitler also made out because there's been Sitons.
11:38
SPEAKER_03: So not necessarily caught and gone onto trial, but could he get out of that bunker, basically?
11:43
SPEAKER_03: When they looked at the blueprints, um there was a hidden entrance exit.
11:48
SPEAKER_00: Right.
11:50
SPEAKER_03: Uh I can't remember exactly what it was, let's say the back of the building went down.
11:54
SPEAKER_03: And this door, this entrance exit led to a tunnel, and this tunnel went straight underground quite a long way to a train station.
12:03
SPEAKER_03: And that train station then went on to an airport, and I don't know.
12:07
SPEAKER_03: And what they've done basically, they've they've traced how he could have possibly escaped out of the who the people could have been that were burned, uh, what routes he may have taken, who could have possibly have helped him along the way, because not something you can do on your own, and where he actually could have ended up in the end.
12:29
SPEAKER_03: And I'm not gonna go into it.
12:30
SPEAKER_03: Uh I'll try and remember what the program is, or I'll ask Jim and I'll let you all know what it's called because it's really interesting.
12:36
SPEAKER_03: If you're into your history, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to debunk anything or like, oh wow, sensationalise Hitler's alive.
12:44
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I hope he's rotting in hell right now.
12:47
SPEAKER_03: But I'm really fascinated with the technology we've got now and the knowledge.
12:52
SPEAKER_03: Um, when they take things to pieces like this and really analyse it, the forensics got another spin.
12:58
SPEAKER_03: It might not be true, it's a possibility, and I quite like theories like that when they really dig into them and they make you think, God, that's actually possible.
13:08
SPEAKER_01: Even if it happened, it is possible, but I don't think it happened.
13:12
SPEAKER_01: I think I think the truth was was out there that he he committed Harry Carey and went.
13:20
SPEAKER_03: So Jim and I have had this conversation because he's really into this.
13:23
SPEAKER_03: Jim's big into his history, a lot of people don't know that.
13:26
SPEAKER_03: And he retains history, he doesn't retain anything essential, but he knows date, he knows all sorts of shit about Alexander the Grace, Egyptians, all the world's wars fucking insignificant wars.
13:40
SPEAKER_03: All up there, Kev.
13:41
SPEAKER_03: But important shit, like when he booked his barber appointment for No, no.
13:48
SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
13:52
SPEAKER_03: So when we've been talking about this because we we were interested, and Jim does believe that this could have happened.
13:59
SPEAKER_03: Because he's look he's watched lots of other stuff and read an awful lot of stuff around you know the Nazis escaping.
14:04
SPEAKER_01: I believe it could have happened, I don't believe it did.
14:06
SPEAKER_03: He does, he thinks it has.
14:08
SPEAKER_03: Whereas I'm I don't think so at all.
14:10
SPEAKER_03: But you know, without the forensic evidence on the bodies at the time, which was not available, we can't know Katagara has been.
14:18
SPEAKER_03: And we'll never know.
14:19
SPEAKER_03: And we'll never know.
14:20
SPEAKER_03: We'll never know.
14:21
SPEAKER_03: Um but I just thought I'd bring it up because this is the day that Hitler and Eva Braun killed themselves.
14:28
SPEAKER_03: And it is still debated today.
14:32
SPEAKER_03: Among certain circles, anyway.
14:34
SPEAKER_03: I hope he is.
14:35
SPEAKER_03: I hope he is rotting in Halloween.
14:36
SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
14:38
SPEAKER_03: So from one rotting corpse to another.
14:44
SPEAKER_03: Well, maybe not quite so rotting corpse, but they became a corpse in the end.
14:49
SPEAKER_03: So have you heard of a drug called crocodile?
14:54
SPEAKER_01: No.
14:55
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
14:56
SPEAKER_03: So crocodile, what do you think that sounds like?
14:58
SPEAKER_01: Well, it obviously sounds like the little monster that lives in a pond.
15:01
SPEAKER_03: Crocodile?
15:02
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
15:04
SPEAKER_01: Um pond, rivers, all sorts of.
15:07
SPEAKER_03: Do you know when you get Florida?
15:08
SPEAKER_03: There's fucking crocodiles like just living down the road from the States and everything.
15:11
SPEAKER_01: They're in the sea in Australia, you know.
15:13
SPEAKER_03: I can't believe that.
15:15
SPEAKER_03: Somebody told me that recently.
15:16
SPEAKER_03: I was like, fucking crocodiles in the sea.
15:17
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't have to do it.
15:18
SPEAKER_01: Happy the Kimberleys.
15:19
SPEAKER_03: I do know, I'd love to go to Australia.
15:21
SPEAKER_03: We have loads of Australian watchers and listeners as well.
15:24
SPEAKER_03: And I think the Australian personality, we watch loads of Australian programmes as well.
15:27
SPEAKER_03: I was literally just saying last night, you know what?
15:29
SPEAKER_03: I'll fucking love Aussies.
15:31
SPEAKER_03: Um, but was I go and live and work out there?
15:34
SPEAKER_03: Never fucking was.
15:34
SPEAKER_03: No, I wouldn't do that.
15:35
SPEAKER_03: Everything wants to kill you.
15:37
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
15:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no way.
15:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and now they're killing little bastards, they're going to places where they shouldn't be going to kill us, like the sea.
15:44
SPEAKER_01: Yep.
15:44
SPEAKER_01: Oh no, they've been always been in the sea.
15:46
SPEAKER_03: There's more of them, isn't there?
15:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're breeding well.
15:49
SPEAKER_03: They're breathing well, they're the condition of just right, aren't they?
15:51
SPEAKER_01: But you can you can do a cruise that takes you into the Kimberleys and you can actually see the crocs and everything in there.
15:56
SPEAKER_01: It's like incredible.
15:57
SPEAKER_03: They're getting everywhere though, aren't they?
16:00
SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
16:00
SPEAKER_01: And they're massive.
16:01
SPEAKER_03: They are.
16:02
SPEAKER_03: I saw um I've seen crocodiles and alligators up close actually.
16:05
SPEAKER_03: When I went to Jamaica years ago, they had are they called Caymans?
16:09
SPEAKER_03: Caymans, yeah.
16:09
SPEAKER_03: They had them as well.
16:10
SPEAKER_03: We went down the Black River in Jamaica and and we saw loads.
16:14
SPEAKER_03: And I was like, and some of them are fucking huge! Absolutely huge.
16:18
SPEAKER_03: But these sea ones are I believe the the big crocodiles are being the sea.
16:23
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
16:23
SPEAKER_01: Big.
16:24
SPEAKER_01: Like dinosaur type big.
16:26
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
16:28
SPEAKER_03: Rice.
16:29
SPEAKER_03: You haven't watched the episode I did with Barry.
16:32
SPEAKER_01: No, but I obviously I've watched the one you did with Andy.
16:34
SPEAKER_03: Andy, so you saw the fish.
16:35
SPEAKER_01: Yes, which is called a coelacanth.
16:39
SPEAKER_03: Coalicanth.
16:44
SPEAKER_03: I prefer our version.
16:46
SPEAKER_01: It's coelacanth.
16:47
SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
16:47
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I did see the fish.
16:49
SPEAKER_03: So, crocodiles.
16:51
SPEAKER_01: We're going off on tangents as well.
16:53
SPEAKER_01: At least I'm not talking as much as Andy did, but yeah, he never shut up.
16:56
SPEAKER_01: I know, I know.
16:56
SPEAKER_03: But he was on one, and you know he was looking at the cameras as well, and he was like that.
16:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know he was very handy, wasn't he?
17:01
SPEAKER_01: Well on his hand.
17:02
SPEAKER_03: Very handy.
17:03
SPEAKER_03: So funny.
17:04
SPEAKER_03: Give me his little wipe.
17:05
SPEAKER_03: So back to crocodiles.
17:07
SPEAKER_03: This is a drug.
17:09
SPEAKER_03: Crocodile, it's a drug that came out around early 2004.
17:14
SPEAKER_03: Well, funny enough, around April 2004.
17:16
SPEAKER_03: It's a bit grim there.
17:18
SPEAKER_03: So any of you eating out there, just put your buttons down for a minute.
17:21
SPEAKER_03: In parts of Eastern Europe and Russia, this drug started circulating.
17:26
SPEAKER_03: Now, its actual name is uh desomorphine or desomorphine.
17:31
SPEAKER_03: So you've got an idea.
17:32
SPEAKER_03: It's like a codeine-based morphine derivative.
17:36
SPEAKER_01: So it's like a heroin-based.
17:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, not quite as strong, but they did things to it, I'm gonna tell you now.
17:42
SPEAKER_03: But people did call it crocodile instead, and I'm gonna explain that as well.
17:47
SPEAKER_03: So it's usually homemade.
17:50
SPEAKER_03: It's made by cooking up codeine tablets and mixing it with things like um petrol, paint thinners.
17:57
SPEAKER_03: Just give them the recipe a bit.
18:07
SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm not giving you how much, you know, the parts of.
18:11
SPEAKER_03: I'm not saying like mix two code in the tablet with 500 rolls of paint drill, mix it in well, mix it with love.
18:21
SPEAKER_03: Oh, so anyway, so paint in it, iodine, all that you can mix in with it.
18:28
SPEAKER_03: And um it you inject it.
18:32
SPEAKER_03: But the it shouldn't be injected, obviously, but people do, and the high is very short but very intense.
18:40
SPEAKER_03: It's like bam, I just like almost I think DMT is quite similar.
18:44
SPEAKER_03: The effects of it are not the uh hallucinogenic things you get from DMT, but DMT is quite short-lived.
18:51
SPEAKER_03: This is the same, but that means that people keep doing it again and again and again.
18:56
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I hate to say it, but you know, it was a midwife and when I was training, I was on the like the nurse side, you did see people coming to hospital track marks, you know, heroin addicts.
19:05
SPEAKER_03: It's not just the bruising on their arms, it's almost like the skin looks like it's necrotizing when they're they're used in the same area quite a lot.
19:13
SPEAKER_01: It's awful, innit?
19:14
SPEAKER_03: It is, yeah.
19:15
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, so this isn't just very, very addictive, it's destructive.
19:20
SPEAKER_03: The chemicals, because they've got so many impurities in there, they cause like really bad damage to blood vessels and tissue and organs, and the skin starts to break down, and this is why it's called crocodile because the skin can turn green and then black, and in severe cases, it literally starts to rot.
19:41
SPEAKER_03: And the skin it starts to take on like this scaly reptile appearance as it's going green and and before it falls off.
19:49
SPEAKER_03: So that's why um the little colloquialism is that it's called crocodile because people start to look like crocodiles like someone's handbag.
19:58
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
19:59
SPEAKER_03: And there's also lots of documented cases where people uh lost fingers, limbs, and bone became exposed.
20:05
SPEAKER_03: They were literally rotting.
20:06
SPEAKER_01: It literally goes to gangrene.
20:08
SPEAKER_03: Literally rotting while they're alive.
20:11
SPEAKER_01: It sounds like you do that to yourself.
20:13
SPEAKER_03: Well, do you know what?
20:14
SPEAKER_03: I mean, both not addictions like and that need that high, that escapism for whatever demons you're escaping from.
20:21
SPEAKER_03: You know, it's it must be that good, it works that good that they need it again and again and again, and the detrimental effect it's having on their body, it doesn't make any difference.
20:30
SPEAKER_03: It's it's it's worth it to them.
20:33
SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, that's the worst part.
20:35
SPEAKER_03: People keep using despite the amount of damage it's doing.
20:39
SPEAKER_03: So, as you can imagine, the decline on this is really quickly, quick, and people tend to die then two to three years.
20:45
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
20:46
SPEAKER_03: Because the body is literally rotting, and people call it a zombie drug.
20:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can see because of that.
20:53
SPEAKER_03: So they're still alive, but they're losing weight, they become like really gorgeous, the colour is changing.
20:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they look like zombies, and there's like flesh rotting, you can see I've seen a picture, and you can see like teeth rotten in the cheek.
21:07
SPEAKER_03: And if you watch The Walking Dead, that's exactly what they look like.
21:09
SPEAKER_03: So it's called a zombie drug.
21:11
SPEAKER_03: It's nuts, isn't it?
21:12
SPEAKER_03: Absolutely nuts.
21:14
SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
21:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna have nightmares tonight, big.
21:17
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna move on very quickly from that one.
21:20
SPEAKER_03: Have you ever heard of a guy I hadn't heard of him, called Casey Cassim?
21:27
SPEAKER_01: It rings a bell, but I don't know why.
21:29
SPEAKER_03: It might ring a bell because of what happened to him, but I didn't know who he was and what he did.
21:34
SPEAKER_03: So he was uh a radio host, a very well-known radio host in America, and I think it was in California.
21:40
SPEAKER_00: Right.
21:41
unknown: Yeah.
21:42
SPEAKER_03: And he used to host the American Top 40 radio show.
21:45
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
21:46
SPEAKER_03: Who was the one that did us?
21:48
SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
21:49
SPEAKER_03: Fox.
21:49
SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, Neil Fox, wasn't it?
21:51
unknown: Dr.
21:52
SPEAKER_01: Foxy.
21:52
SPEAKER_01: Dr.
21:53
SPEAKER_01: Fox.
21:54
SPEAKER_03: Did you used to record the top 40 on a cassette?
21:57
SPEAKER_03: I think everybody did that, didn't you?
21:59
SPEAKER_03: So He was that guy.
22:01
SPEAKER_03: Um, and very, very well known, his voice was instantly recognizable.
22:07
SPEAKER_03: He's been doing it for that long.
22:09
SPEAKER_03: But by 2014, he'd become really, really ill.
22:13
SPEAKER_03: And he was suffering from a condition called the Lewy body dementia.
22:17
SPEAKER_03: Dementia.
22:18
SPEAKER_03: Have you ever heard of that?
22:18
SPEAKER_02: No.
22:19
SPEAKER_03: Lewy body dementia.
22:20
SPEAKER_03: So whereas you lose your mind normally with dementia, body dementia, yes, you can you know lose your mind, but also you almost forget how to use your body.
22:31
SPEAKER_03: Like you forget your brain forgets.
22:33
SPEAKER_03: This almost is like your body forgets what to do.
22:36
SPEAKER_01: So forget how to lift your hand and breathe.
22:39
SPEAKER_03: So you can't really communicate and you become very vulnerable.
22:43
SPEAKER_03: Um almost like somebody who's had a stroke and is very, very, very reliant.
22:47
SPEAKER_03: The difference with the stroke though is that your body, your brain knows exactly what it wants to do, but your body will not cooperate.
22:54
SPEAKER_03: Whereas with this, it's the body and the mind.
22:58
SPEAKER_03: It's not very nice.
23:00
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, as if that wasn't enough, folks.
23:04
SPEAKER_03: There's a family dispute building around him.
23:07
SPEAKER_03: This guy is still alive, but very poorly.
23:11
SPEAKER_03: So on one side you've got his children from a previous marriage, and on the other side you've got his wife Jean.
23:17
SPEAKER_00: Right.
23:17
SPEAKER_03: And they don't agree on anything to do with his care.
23:22
SPEAKER_03: This guy now is in a position where he can't care for himself either.
23:25
SPEAKER_01: There's so many families in that situation as well.
23:28
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
23:29
SPEAKER_03: And so they can't decide on uh where he should be cared, who should be caring for him, who should have access to him, who should be making decisions, so power of attorney.
23:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
23:42
SPEAKER_03: And it escalates into this massive legal case.
23:46
SPEAKER_03: There's all sorts of like public accusations, loads of media attention, because he's a big celebrity.
23:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
23:52
SPEAKER_03: And on the 30th of April, the court stepped in.
23:55
SPEAKER_03: And a judge ruled that his daughter should be allowed to see him.
23:58
SPEAKER_03: He'd been he'd been poorly for a long time, and this court case had been going for a long time.
24:03
SPEAKER_03: So on the 30th of April, she's like, Great, I can finally see me, Dad.
24:06
SPEAKER_03: Sounds straightforward.
24:07
SPEAKER_03: But it's not.
24:09
SPEAKER_03: Because when she went to go and see him, he went missing.
24:14
SPEAKER_03: He's not there.
24:15
SPEAKER_03: Really?
24:16
SPEAKER_01: Oh, for God's sake.
24:19
SPEAKER_03: Nobody knows where he is.
24:21
SPEAKER_03: He's been removed from where he is.
24:23
SPEAKER_03: He is effectively missing.
24:25
SPEAKER_03: One of the most recognisable voices on American radio is now missing.
24:30
SPEAKER_03: How does this happen?
24:32
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, this happened because his wife Jean had moved him.
24:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she was one of the daughters.
24:37
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
24:38
SPEAKER_03: She moved him out of the state without informing anybody from the rest of the family.
24:46
SPEAKER_03: That's how bitter she was.
24:48
SPEAKER_03: How hateful have you got to be towards people to go to that length to stop him seeing his daughters?
24:55
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but it's also it's hurting him as well as her daughters, you know.
24:58
SPEAKER_03: I mean, okay, he's got dementia.
25:00
SPEAKER_03: He might not be able to fathom what's going on, but we know that people have lucid moments.
25:03
SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
25:04
SPEAKER_03: And so in those lucid moments, who's to say?
25:06
SPEAKER_03: You know, he's not thinking, Where's my daughter?
25:08
SPEAKER_03: Where's my daughters, actually?
25:10
SPEAKER_03: So now you've got this call, you've got a course order for access to this man whose location isn't known.
25:18
SPEAKER_03: And so this turns into a full search.
25:21
SPEAKER_03: Police obviously get involved, legal teams get involved, authorities are trying to track him down, left, right, and centre.
25:26
SPEAKER_01: And of course, if he's across state, then it's completely different ball game, isn't it?
25:29
SPEAKER_03: Different jurisdictions.
25:30
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
25:31
SPEAKER_03: Is it a crime?
25:33
SPEAKER_03: Not necessarily.
25:35
SPEAKER_03: Because the fighting over like who's got power of attorney over him.
25:39
SPEAKER_03: At the moment, I don't know.
25:40
SPEAKER_03: Anyone's got power of attorney over him.
25:42
SPEAKER_03: So are they taking them against his will?
25:44
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
25:44
SPEAKER_00: Kidnap, yeah.
25:46
SPEAKER_03: Anyways, media.
25:47
SPEAKER_03: Obviously, we're following every development because he's of a media personality.
25:52
SPEAKER_03: He's eventually located in Washington State from California.
25:56
SPEAKER_00: It's not that far.
25:57
SPEAKER_03: I know, but it's a it's a fucking long way.
25:59
SPEAKER_03: It's not like here to Manchester, is it?
26:02
SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
26:04
SPEAKER_01: It's more like here to Bavaria.
26:06
SPEAKER_03: It's a plane ride.
26:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
26:09
SPEAKER_03: She's took a very, very, very sick man across state lines.
26:14
SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
26:15
unknown: Can't.
26:16
SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
26:17
SPEAKER_03: So by this point, obviously the damage is done.
26:20
SPEAKER_03: Um, so it's gone from like a private family dispute, a nasty, nasty private family dispute, to now a very public spectacle.
26:27
SPEAKER_01: A very public one, yeah.
26:28
SPEAKER_03: Very public spectacle.
26:30
SPEAKER_03: And I get the feeling, I could be wrong, that uh that the it was the wife that was making it a bit more of a thing, and the children were fighting against it.
26:40
SPEAKER_03: I don't feel like they created it, but I really could be wrong.
26:43
SPEAKER_03: That when I was doing reasoning around this, it wasn't quite clear.
26:46
SPEAKER_03: Both sides might be as bad as each other.
26:48
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
26:48
SPEAKER_03: But I get the feeling it's the kids were like, look, didn't you see our dad?
26:51
SPEAKER_03: And she was like, No, and would go to any lengths to stop it, and obviously she did.
26:54
SPEAKER_01: So you don't know if there's been a thing where he's fallen out with the kids in the past before he got to the house.
26:59
SPEAKER_03: I was trying to figure out is it something that let's say it was my dad who was now who had dementia, and his wife knew that he'd fallen out with me.
27:09
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
27:09
SPEAKER_03: And now I was trying to get access to her, and she was like, Well, no, because he didn't have anything to do with there for years before he died.
27:14
SPEAKER_03: So get to fuck.
27:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
27:16
SPEAKER_03: You don't know.
27:17
SPEAKER_03: I couldn't find that out.
27:19
SPEAKER_03: So I want to try and keep it balanced, but you know, you just when somebody takes somebody out of state, I'm like uh a judge has said, yeah, it's okay for her to see this man.
27:30
SPEAKER_03: She's overruled the judge and took it upon herself to go out of her.
27:35
SPEAKER_03: She's gonna break the law there, to stop the daughter seeing their their father, and breaking the law and kidnapping.
27:42
SPEAKER_03: You know, she's basically um anyway, yeah, she she's causing all kinds of murder, and I don't understand exactly why.
27:49
SPEAKER_03: I couldn't get to the boss of her.
27:51
SPEAKER_03: If anyone knows a bit more about the story, maybe someone who's actually in America who remembers the story at the time, I'd love the gaps to be filled in, because I just couldn't quite find her.
28:00
SPEAKER_03: The media, even though they were following every development, it was more about what happened to him after he'd left, after he'd been taken, rather than what caused it in the first place.
28:09
SPEAKER_03: So fill in the gaps if you need.
28:11
SPEAKER_01: Make a good movie as well.
28:12
SPEAKER_03: It would, it would.
28:13
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, it doesn't end there.
28:14
SPEAKER_03: He died a few weeks later after being moved.
28:18
SPEAKER_03: June 2014, so it happened in April 2014.
28:21
SPEAKER_03: And you think it'd bring some kind of closure, but it doesn't, because it escalates again.
28:26
SPEAKER_03: Again.
28:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
28:28
SPEAKER_03: So the argument this time is not about who can see and where and when, it's about where he should be buried.
28:36
SPEAKER_03: Where he should be buried, who has the right to decide.
28:39
SPEAKER_03: And at one point it got that bad that his body was kept in curled storage for quite a while.
28:45
SPEAKER_03: Because no agreement could be reached.
28:49
SPEAKER_03: What's wrong with people?
28:51
SPEAKER_03: So, with uh without full consensus from the family, um, his remains were transported out of the United States to Norway.
29:00
SPEAKER_03: What?
29:03
SPEAKER_03: Yes, Norway! Because his wife had connections there, apparently.
29:07
SPEAKER_03: Oh, thank God's name.
29:09
SPEAKER_03: Um, but obviously this uh this move raised more questions, legal complications, jurisdiction issues, disputes across countries, across continents, and you know, for a period of time, even after his death, there's confusion over exactly where his body is.
29:27
SPEAKER_03: You know, this poor guy um spent decades being listened to by millions of people, a voice people trusted, instantly recognisable.
29:35
SPEAKER_03: At the end of his life, there's this uncertainty around him.
29:40
SPEAKER_03: It's absolutely nuts, isn't it?
29:43
SPEAKER_02: God.
29:44
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I know that new families can be bitter, and we don't know all of the the the history.
29:49
SPEAKER_03: We don't know, but that's extreme, isn't it?
29:52
SPEAKER_01: That is extreme.
29:53
SPEAKER_03: You know, it what it wasn't good enough moving him out of state.
29:57
SPEAKER_03: Then when he died, that he moved the remains out of the country.
30:01
SPEAKER_01: Into Norway.
30:02
unknown: Into Norway.
30:03
SPEAKER_03: I'm not laughing because it's funny, I'm I'm laughing because it's incredulous.
30:07
SPEAKER_03: You how hateful have you got to be to actually go to that sort of length?
30:12
SPEAKER_03: It's nuts, isn't it?
30:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
30:14
SPEAKER_01: She can't bury him and she can't even bury the hatchet.
30:17
SPEAKER_03: No, absolutely nuts.
30:20
SPEAKER_03: So, there we go.
30:21
SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna give us one last final on this day.
30:24
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
30:24
SPEAKER_03: Have you heard of Monica Sellers?
30:27
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
30:27
SPEAKER_03: Have you?
30:28
SPEAKER_03: Gone, who is she?
30:29
SPEAKER_01: Monica Sellers?
30:30
SPEAKER_03: For those who don't know.
30:31
SPEAKER_01: Oh, hang on a minute.
30:32
SPEAKER_01: Who is she?
30:33
SPEAKER_01: I don't I have no idea.
30:34
SPEAKER_01: I am little tiny.
30:34
SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I have Monica Sellers.
30:36
SPEAKER_01: Hang on, we're doing this.
30:37
SPEAKER_01: Tennis player.
30:38
SPEAKER_03: Very good.
30:39
SPEAKER_03: I didn't know she was.
30:40
SPEAKER_03: Bit of ASMR.
30:42
SPEAKER_03: Wasn't she was was she the one that was stabbed in the way of me fucking ASMR, yeah?
30:47
SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
30:47
SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
30:48
SPEAKER_03: The gas has already been let out because he was gassing.
30:51
SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
30:51
SPEAKER_03: She was.
30:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, stabbed in the back at Wimbledon.
30:53
SPEAKER_01: Was it at Wimbledon?
30:54
SPEAKER_01: It was.
30:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
30:55
SPEAKER_03: Anything else you know about the story?
30:56
SPEAKER_03: Save me talking about her.
30:57
SPEAKER_01: Actually, it wasn't in Wimbledon.
30:59
SPEAKER_01: It wasn't Wimbledon.
31:00
SPEAKER_01: Right, okay.
31:01
SPEAKER_01: So uh she was stabbed in the back and it was a stalker.
31:05
SPEAKER_03: Not quite.
31:06
SPEAKER_03: It was a bit of a crazed fan.
31:09
SPEAKER_01: Stalker.
31:09
SPEAKER_03: But not of her.
31:10
SPEAKER_03: It wasn't a fan of hers.
31:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh.
31:15
SPEAKER_01: It was the fan of the other person she was playing tennis, and they did it so that they would win.
31:19
SPEAKER_03: Who was?
31:22
SPEAKER_03: Can you hear the brain cogs turning?
31:26
SPEAKER_03: I can't.
31:27
SPEAKER_03: Rusty Isle fucking cogs, the aren't only 50.
31:30
SPEAKER_01: I want to say hingis.
31:31
SPEAKER_03: No.
31:32
SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna fill in the gaps for you.
31:34
SPEAKER_01: Alright, you you tell us, go on.
31:36
SPEAKER_03: But only briefly because you were there.
31:37
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
31:37
SPEAKER_03: Basically.
31:38
SPEAKER_03: So my shocks, yeah.
31:40
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
31:41
SPEAKER_03: I shouldn't be shocked really.
31:43
SPEAKER_03: I think you've told me before that you I think you like tennis, don't you?
31:45
SPEAKER_03: No.
31:46
SPEAKER_03: Constantly.
31:47
SPEAKER_03: Who's I talking to who liked tennis then?
31:50
SPEAKER_03: Dunno.
31:51
SPEAKER_03: Okay, that's just information that you had stored in there for just this time.
31:56
SPEAKER_01: I just love the bit where they go straight set.
31:59
SPEAKER_03: That you'd know nothing about whatsoever.
32:02
SPEAKER_01: No, of course not.
32:03
SPEAKER_03: Right, so 30th of April, 1993, this was.
32:06
SPEAKER_03: Right.
32:07
SPEAKER_03: And it was in Hamburg.
32:08
SPEAKER_03: The tennis match in Hamburg.
32:10
SPEAKER_03: And at this time, Monica was the number one.
32:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
32:13
SPEAKER_03: She's the number one in the world.
32:15
SPEAKER_03: And she was sitting during a break in the match.
32:19
SPEAKER_03: Just a normal moment.
32:21
SPEAKER_03: And out from the crowd comes a man quite calmly, not rushing.
32:26
SPEAKER_03: Doesn't seem to be standing out for any reason at all.
32:30
SPEAKER_03: Very calmly approaches, leans over the barrier, and stabbed her in the back, as you quite rightly say.
32:37
SPEAKER_03: It happens in seconds.
32:40
SPEAKER_03: Seconds.
32:40
SPEAKER_03: People don't even realise it happened.
32:42
SPEAKER_03: She's just sitting there, like and he gets off.
32:44
SPEAKER_03: And then obviously she's like bent over, blood.
32:47
SPEAKER_03: People start screaming, she's bending forward.
32:50
SPEAKER_03: And he doesn't try to run, he's restrained immediately.
32:54
SPEAKER_03: And then you find out why.
32:56
SPEAKER_03: His name is Gunter Parch.
32:59
SPEAKER_03: And he's obsessed with Steffi Graff.
33:01
SPEAKER_01: So it was Graf, right?
33:02
SPEAKER_01: I was I didn't know whether it was Graff or Ingus, so there we go.
33:04
SPEAKER_03: That's the motive.
33:06
SPEAKER_03: He believed that Monica was basically in the way of Steffi Graff reclaiming the number one title once again.
33:16
SPEAKER_01: She needs to do it on her own merit, not by default.
33:20
SPEAKER_03: Well, that's why we have crazed fans, isn't it?
33:22
SPEAKER_03: Doesn't think straight.
33:23
unknown: Oh god.
33:24
SPEAKER_03: Anyways, but she survives.
33:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she did survive.
33:27
SPEAKER_03: Physically, but mentally, you know, you think about when you think these tennis courts, it's a sport, everybody's there for to watch the game, to feed off the energy, to enjoy the atmosphere.
33:40
SPEAKER_03: I'm sure she felt almost safe there amongst people who are rooting for her and running for her opponents.
33:46
SPEAKER_03: It's not somewhere you'd expect to be stabbed.
33:49
SPEAKER_00: No.
33:50
SPEAKER_03: You know, I mean, let's say football matches now, they can be, you know, very boisterous, loud.
33:55
SPEAKER_03: People can get injured, a bit of fisty cuffs, maybe, you know, people get a bit irate.
34:01
SPEAKER_03: But even so, correct me again if I'm wrong, I can't think of many, if any, football matches where somebody's been stabbed.
34:10
SPEAKER_01: No.
34:10
SPEAKER_03: Do they have um like the metal detector things in matches they do?
34:13
SPEAKER_03: Don't they have to walk through a metal detector?
34:15
SPEAKER_01: You're asking me.
34:17
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I think they do.
34:18
SPEAKER_01: You know, I've actually been to two football matches.
34:20
SPEAKER_03: I've been on stadium tours, when on the Effson Stadium tour, that was really good, and they did have metal detector things uh but a brand new stadium.
34:27
SPEAKER_03: So I'm assuming.
34:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think I think they've brought them in now because there was an incident, wasn't there?
34:31
SPEAKER_01: Uh now, forgive me if I'm wrong, this may have been Wimbledon, but there was a young tennis player, wasn't there, who um there was a stalker in the crowd and she asked for them to be removed, and the match was stopped.
34:43
SPEAKER_02: That's right.
34:44
SPEAKER_01: And that was literally like two, three years ago.
34:46
SPEAKER_01: It wasn't long ago at all.
34:48
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
34:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
34:49
SPEAKER_03: Well, this bloody poor lady, you know, she was actually attacked.
34:54
SPEAKER_01: She was, yeah.
34:55
SPEAKER_01: I I can I I can remember the the the the incident and the footage of it, yeah.
34:59
SPEAKER_03: But you're going back to what we were saying, she must have felt safe in that uh that arena, if you like, with all them people and you know, with the course and everything.
35:08
SPEAKER_03: It's just safe space.
35:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 100%.
35:10
SPEAKER_01: And she would have been so focused on the match as well.
35:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
35:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
35:13
SPEAKER_03: So she wouldn't have seen that coming.
35:15
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, so the attacker.
35:19
SPEAKER_03: Um he doesn't go to prison.
35:22
SPEAKER_03: What he receives a suspended sentence and psychiatric treatment.
35:27
SPEAKER_01: Oh, he obviously had a good lawyer.
35:29
SPEAKER_03: On the grounds of demersh responsibility due to mental health issues.
35:34
SPEAKER_03: Do you believe that somebody should get off like that because of mental health?
35:37
SPEAKER_03: No.
35:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, if she'd have died.
35:39
SPEAKER_03: That's murder.
35:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
35:40
SPEAKER_03: Never mind that manslaughter, demercius responsibility, and all the rest of it.
35:43
SPEAKER_03: He took a fucking life.
35:44
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he he went there with a knife to do something and he did it.
35:48
SPEAKER_01: It's intent.
35:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
35:50
SPEAKER_03: Simple as that.
35:50
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
35:50
SPEAKER_03: And you know the bite, he might have demons in his head telling them stuff, but his hands still held the knife and he still did the act.
35:56
SPEAKER_00: That's murder.
35:57
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
35:58
SPEAKER_03: You know?
35:58
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
35:58
SPEAKER_03: And don't get me wrong, I've got you know a lot of sympathy with people with mental health problems, but at the end of the day, when you take a life, mental health problems or not, he shouldn't receive a suspended sentence.
36:07
SPEAKER_03: She didn't die, but she fucking cut off.
36:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
36:10
SPEAKER_03: And she didn't die, but she stepped away from tennis for two years.
36:14
SPEAKER_03: And if any of you out there have been passionate about a sport, that is your life, that is torture.
36:21
SPEAKER_01: It was a life, it was like a career, it was everything.
36:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
36:23
SPEAKER_03: That'd be torture.
36:24
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it would.
36:25
SPEAKER_03: I mean, this is nothing like it at all.
36:27
SPEAKER_03: But when I tore my hamstring and I was running and I was I'd I'd been training for a marathon.
36:32
SPEAKER_03: I'd run one.
36:33
SPEAKER_03: Um, I tore my hamstring and I couldn't run for about seven months.
36:36
SPEAKER_03: I went stir crazy.
36:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
36:39
SPEAKER_03: I went stir crazy.
36:40
SPEAKER_03: All I was got to think of was getting back out there, pounds the pavements, get me fitness back, get my mental health back on track.
36:47
SPEAKER_03: This is a professional tennis player, never mind, like a fucking hobbyist like me.
36:51
SPEAKER_03: Professional tennis player, obviously her income's gonna be affected, but also just like her day-to-day life, the training, the people she comes in contact with, just the routine.
37:00
SPEAKER_01: And she'd always be looking over her shoulder.
37:02
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
37:02
SPEAKER_03: I was gonna come back to, and from that day on, she'll never ever trust that space, that court, that arena, ever again.
37:10
SPEAKER_00: Never.
37:10
SPEAKER_03: That safe space has been taken away.
37:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she'll never trust that space and the people in it ever again.
37:17
SPEAKER_03: And this guy got a suspended sentence.
37:20
SPEAKER_01: And not just her, other people as well.
37:23
SPEAKER_01: We'll always be wondering now.
37:24
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
37:25
SPEAKER_01: Always be wondering.
37:26
SPEAKER_03: Of course they will.
37:27
SPEAKER_03: So it caused outrage the way it has done with us.
37:30
SPEAKER_03: Um and it did change things, it didn't obviously change anything for her or the guy, but it changed the sports, security increased, barriers improved.
37:40
SPEAKER_03: Um, and I think they do have scanners going to Wimbledon now.
37:46
SPEAKER_03: Uh, but unfortunately, uh the idea that athletes were safe on course was gone forever.
37:52
SPEAKER_03: No matter what changes they they implement they put in place and implemented, it was never the same again.
37:57
SPEAKER_03: And you know, there's still people now who are like you know, still looking over the shoulder and and stuff like that.
38:03
SPEAKER_01: Especially if they've got something Is it got stalker going?
38:05
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
38:06
SPEAKER_03: You know, it's gonna be uh a bit bum twitching for the mic, isn't it?
38:11
SPEAKER_03: Fuck I know.
38:12
SPEAKER_03: I chucked it over there, out of camera shot.
38:15
SPEAKER_03: Oh shit, it is the right one.
38:18
SPEAKER_03: Could you imagine?
38:20
SPEAKER_03: I thought I'd put like chuck my itinerary in as well.
38:24
SPEAKER_03: Oh right, before I move on to a segment, I'm gonna do a little dangly bit.
38:29
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
38:29
SPEAKER_03: Do a little dangly bit.
38:31
SPEAKER_03: I had a question to you.
38:32
SPEAKER_01: Right.
38:32
SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
38:35
SPEAKER_03: It's a silly one, Chris the Dangliber.
38:38
SPEAKER_03: If your pet could suddenly talk for 24 hours, would you be excited or terrified?
38:48
SPEAKER_01: I think a mixture of both.
38:50
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
38:50
SPEAKER_01: I think a mixture of both.
38:51
SPEAKER_01: I'd love to have a little chat with him.
38:53
SPEAKER_03: What do you think?
38:54
SPEAKER_03: What do you think the conversation would go like?
38:55
SPEAKER_01: Well, I'd love to know first of all if he could chat whether he's got a little Mexican accent.
38:59
SPEAKER_01: He's a chihuahua, isn't he?
39:01
SPEAKER_03: He's a chihuahua.
39:02
SPEAKER_03: Um could you imagine a Mexican accent coming out of your joke?
39:10
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
39:12
SPEAKER_01: So he's he's he's a little chihuahua, and I think he'd have a little Mexican accent.
39:18
SPEAKER_01: So I'd love to have a little conversation with him, and I'd like to ask him a few little things about why he doesn't do certain things.
39:27
SPEAKER_01: Wake what?
39:28
SPEAKER_01: So so at the moment we've we've you know we've been having the the hall and stairs sort of like done with the panelling and everything.
39:34
SPEAKER_01: So we've now ripped the carpet off the stairs.
39:36
SPEAKER_01: Right.
39:37
SPEAKER_01: And we're sanding down those ready to sort of like get them painted and then put a runner down.
39:42
SPEAKER_01: And so they're they're just bare wood now, and he won't come down them.
39:46
SPEAKER_03: He mustn't like the feel on the room.
39:48
SPEAKER_03: That's what I think it is.
39:48
SPEAKER_01: So he'll he'll go up them at a push.
39:50
SPEAKER_01: So in the mornings, um, when T brings my my coffee up and takes his toast upstairs, Nacho will follow him up the stairs.
39:58
SPEAKER_01: But if you just go up the stairs, he'll he'll stop at the bottom of the stairs and he'll start crying and needs to be picked up and carried up the stairs, and he won't come down the stairs at all.
40:06
SPEAKER_01: And he'd rather stay up there whining than trying to come down the stairs.
40:11
SPEAKER_01: So I'd I'd ask him that.
40:12
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, of course, uh there's certain things I don't want him to be able to talk about.
40:16
SPEAKER_03: This is the thing, because especially dogs, they like to watch you when you're doing something.
40:21
SPEAKER_03: And it's uncomfortable, isn't it?
40:22
SPEAKER_02: It's very uncomfortable, very uncomfortable.
40:24
SPEAKER_03: And so if my dog, if I still had one, could all of a sudden start to talk, I would be very nervous about what it came out with.
40:33
SPEAKER_01: I think if you knew that your pet could talk, you'd treat it like a child, wouldn't you?
40:36
SPEAKER_01: And you'd make sure that it didn't see what it Yes.
40:39
SPEAKER_03: I think I'd be saying, right then, bastard, seeing you can hear me, understand me, and you can talk back, we'll have a little chat about boundaries.
40:48
SPEAKER_03: So when I'm shagging, no, you can't come in.
40:51
SPEAKER_03: When I'm having a piss, no, you can't come and watch me.
40:56
SPEAKER_03: Please don't lick your arse when I've got company.
41:01
SPEAKER_03: When I put your dinner down for you, don't turn your nose off, be grateful because I'm poor.
41:08
SPEAKER_01: And put your lipstick away.
41:09
SPEAKER_03: Put your lipstick away.
41:11
SPEAKER_03: And when we've got company, don't be doing that all the time, asking for something, coming up in my face, breathing in my face, attention seeking little fuck.
41:19
SPEAKER_01: Clean your teeth.
41:20
SPEAKER_03: You're a dog.
41:21
SPEAKER_03: Be a dog.
41:22
SPEAKER_03: Okay, you've got a voice now, you can understand me, but you're a dog.
41:27
SPEAKER_03: That'd be my conversation with our dog.
41:29
SPEAKER_03: It'll be better setting some house rules while I knew it could understand me and talk back.
41:34
SPEAKER_01: Too right.
41:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
41:35
SPEAKER_03: It's it's the thing, Luna used to always love to come in the bathroom and watch me while I was pissing.
41:40
SPEAKER_03: I think a bit of a detachment thing in the end because she wasn't well.
41:44
SPEAKER_03: But if I shut the door and I was in there a little while, I'd hear on the door.
41:49
SPEAKER_03: Nacho's the same.
41:50
SPEAKER_01: Nacho's the same.
41:51
SPEAKER_01: He'll come in, he'll come in and you stood there having a pee, and he'll he'll put his little paws up on the um on the on the on the toilet, and you're like, get down on the looking up at you like that.
42:04
SPEAKER_03: Very, very cute.
42:05
SPEAKER_01: Uh very cute, but annoying.
42:07
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, I don't really go for little dogs in general, because I think little dogs can be a little bit annoying in general.
42:13
SPEAKER_01: They're full of character and personality.
42:14
SPEAKER_03: But that's the thing, they're full of personality.
42:16
SPEAKER_03: I think little dogs are a bit more hard-faced, and so if you tell them off, sometimes just go.
42:22
SPEAKER_03: It's like the biggest fuck you glance.
42:24
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
42:25
SPEAKER_03: Um, I mean, we've always had big dogs, but my mum had a little dog, and my auntie had a little dog as well.
42:29
SPEAKER_03: She had a little York terrier, and she was like the feistiest.
42:32
SPEAKER_03: She also had an Alsatian, big Alsatian, and the little dog ruled the roost for everybody, absolutely not just the other dog, the whole house.
42:41
SPEAKER_03: Same with us.
42:41
SPEAKER_03: Penny her name was, she was a lovely little dog.
42:43
SPEAKER_03: But she had this little he said, annoy the fuck out of me.
42:47
SPEAKER_03: But God, she was feisty, really feisty.
42:51
SPEAKER_03: And if you did something wrong, like one day she rolls in a dead pigeon in the park.
42:56
SPEAKER_03: I remember my auntie going, Penny no, and the dog mid-rollers went like that, looked at her shout and just went and just carried on rolling.
43:07
SPEAKER_03: But it was the face though, Kev.
43:08
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it was almost like Fuck you.
43:10
SPEAKER_03: It was like Yeah.
43:12
SPEAKER_01: Whereas the Altation, the Altasian would look like mortified that it's been told off.
43:17
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
43:17
SPEAKER_03: Wouldn't it?
43:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
43:18
SPEAKER_03: But little dogs, even if they are yappy little fuck, they have got a great personality.
43:22
SPEAKER_03: It's all just this little dog syndrome.
43:24
SPEAKER_03: It's like, no, he can't bolly me around.
43:26
SPEAKER_01: So when Nacho was, he's not doing it as much now, but um, every now and then he'll he'll get the horn, you know, you get the little horn on, and it and he he finds T's foot.
43:36
SPEAKER_01: So T will be sat on the chair like this, and next thing you know, you'll see his leg doing this, and you'll look down, and there's Nacho there going it's on T's foot, right?
43:47
SPEAKER_01: And and you just you just you just know what's going through.
43:50
SPEAKER_01: He's like, Yeah, yeah, you bah yiba, yahbayah, can afford you.
43:56
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
43:57
SPEAKER_01: I just want to see my little Mexican hat on and just I Honestly, he's so funny.
44:01
SPEAKER_01: So funny.
44:02
SPEAKER_01: And you go to take him off, and he'll go.
44:05
SPEAKER_01: And you're like, no, it's mine.
44:07
SPEAKER_01: I'm having it.
44:07
SPEAKER_01: I'm having it.
44:08
SPEAKER_01: Right.
44:09
SPEAKER_01: And his lipstick is about that long.
44:12
SPEAKER_01: It's huge.
44:12
SPEAKER_01: It's huge.
44:14
SPEAKER_03: So is the penis not proportionate to the size, then?
44:17
SPEAKER_01: No.
44:17
SPEAKER_03: Fuck it, hell.
44:18
SPEAKER_01: No.
44:19
SPEAKER_01: Honestly, he's he's very well endowed.
44:22
SPEAKER_03: Could you imagine there with a little sombrero on?
44:27
SPEAKER_03: But if he did talk, if he had a Mexican accent, that would just be perfect.
44:31
SPEAKER_03: But that's what he'd have to have.
44:34
SPEAKER_03: He'd have to.
44:34
SPEAKER_03: He wouldn't have an accent like yours, because he's been listening to you all these years, unfortunately.
44:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
44:38
SPEAKER_03: He's lost it.
44:39
SPEAKER_03: He's lost his Mexican accent.
44:40
SPEAKER_01: Mexican scouse accent.
44:42
SPEAKER_01: Not scouse as Andy, though.
44:44
SPEAKER_03: Oh gosh, he's do you know what?
44:47
SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
44:49
SPEAKER_03: Goosin.
44:50
SPEAKER_03: I mean, he said goosin' to me, loads, and it always makes me howl.
44:53
SPEAKER_03: It's the way he says it.
44:55
SPEAKER_03: Goosin.
44:56
SPEAKER_03: He said once.
44:57
SPEAKER_03: He said, I'm coming in the club tonight as a customer coating for a goosen.
45:02
SPEAKER_03: And it's the first time he'd said it to me, and I went, Andy, a goosin'?
45:07
SPEAKER_03: I went, yeah.
45:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
45:11
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, Goose?
45:13
SPEAKER_03: It's not exactly like, you know.
45:14
SPEAKER_03: I'm not here to be fucking romantic, aren't I?
45:19
unknown: Oh God.
45:21
SPEAKER_01: He's so funny.
45:22
SPEAKER_03: He really is.
45:23
SPEAKER_03: He's so funny.
45:24
SPEAKER_03: But I've been obviously doing reels and everything for these videos, not I'm doing everything myself now.
45:30
SPEAKER_03: So I put them into like an auto-caption thing, trying to work out what Andy is saying.
45:36
SPEAKER_03: DI just because like your guess is as good as mine.
45:40
SPEAKER_01: See my Andy now, look.
45:43
SPEAKER_01: Hang on.
45:47
SPEAKER_03: Do you know what?
45:48
SPEAKER_03: I was I'm gonna do a very quick main segment.
45:52
SPEAKER_03: Have you ever heard of Hexennacht?
45:54
SPEAKER_01: No.
45:55
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
45:55
SPEAKER_03: Do you know what a hex or a hexen is?
45:57
SPEAKER_01: Well hex is a like uh like a curse, isn't it?
46:00
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so to us, a hex is a curse.
46:02
SPEAKER_01: So nacht is knight in German.
46:04
SPEAKER_03: It is.
46:05
SPEAKER_03: And so uh a hex is a witch or a hexen is witches.
46:09
SPEAKER_03: Right.
46:10
SPEAKER_03: So hex and nacht is witches night.
46:11
SPEAKER_03: Witch is nice a Halloween?
46:13
SPEAKER_03: No.
46:14
SPEAKER_03: This falls on it's also called uh Valpurgus Knight.
46:19
SPEAKER_02: Right.
46:20
SPEAKER_03: And uh it it comes from something which I'm gonna tell you about in a minute.
46:23
SPEAKER_03: But if any of you haven't seen this, you need to see, and you need to go and have a look at this.
46:30
SPEAKER_03: So on um Hexenacht, all across Germany, but in certain areas, there's a whole load of people dressed as witches who get together and they do like this.
46:40
SPEAKER_03: It's a big, big festival.
46:42
SPEAKER_03: Um, and have you seen um what's the programme on tally?
46:49
SPEAKER_03: Grimm.
46:50
SPEAKER_01: No.
46:50
SPEAKER_01: Well, there's grimm.
46:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's called Grim.
46:54
SPEAKER_01: Right, I've not seen it.
46:55
SPEAKER_03: Okay, because there's a thing in there called a hexen beast.
46:57
SPEAKER_01: Right.
46:58
SPEAKER_03: And a hex and beast is looks like a witch but with slightly rotting skin.
47:03
SPEAKER_03: And they can change their features like that.
47:06
SPEAKER_03: They can change their features um to look normal, but when you they strip it back and they look like themselves.
47:12
SPEAKER_01: Right, okay, so they put a spell on themselves that make them look normal, but then yeah, okay.
47:16
SPEAKER_03: And while the hex and beasts in it is like really quite fit.
47:19
SPEAKER_03: So when you see the witches at Hex and Knacked, they look very similar to the Hex and Beast.
47:23
SPEAKER_03: So it's called Grim.
47:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think.
47:26
SPEAKER_01: So Grim.
47:27
SPEAKER_03: Right.
47:28
SPEAKER_03: There's a few male fissies in it.
47:30
SPEAKER_03: In fact, the main guy in it's alright.
47:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I might be able to do that.
47:33
SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's shaking it, it doesn't really matter, does it?
47:34
SPEAKER_01: I love witches things though.
47:35
SPEAKER_01: Like I used to I can't believe they've cancelled Discovery of Witches.
47:38
SPEAKER_01: I was loving that.
47:39
SPEAKER_03: They've actually cancelled it! I've been waiting.
47:42
SPEAKER_03: Well, then the last series took ages to come out.
47:45
SPEAKER_03: There's what two years in between the series.
47:47
SPEAKER_01: I think it's been about three now, isn't it?
47:49
SPEAKER_03: It's been a while, like.
47:49
SPEAKER_01: I think it's been cancelled.
47:50
SPEAKER_03: Oh, who's the main guy in it?
47:52
SPEAKER_03: He's fucking gorgeous.
47:53
SPEAKER_01: Oh, he is.
47:54
SPEAKER_01: Um, but he's been in a lot of other stuff.
47:55
SPEAKER_03: He was in a BBC thing recently that he's really good.
47:58
SPEAKER_01: He was.
47:59
SPEAKER_01: He and he was in Downton Abbey as well, I think.
48:01
SPEAKER_03: He was.
48:02
SPEAKER_03: But as the vampire in Discovery of Witches, oh my god.
48:06
SPEAKER_03: And Jimmy's not my type.
48:08
SPEAKER_03: He's quite tall and very slim.
48:11
SPEAKER_01: It's the way he plays the part.
48:12
SPEAKER_01: It's the character that he looks at.
48:13
SPEAKER_03: It's the character.
48:14
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
48:15
SPEAKER_03: And the way he looks at her, it's the eyes.
48:17
SPEAKER_03: There's the way I mean it doesn't really matter what he looks like, because he's not my type, it's the eyes.
48:23
SPEAKER_03: The way he's looking at her, he loved her so much.
48:26
SPEAKER_03: Like literally his eyes were reaching into her soul, and I was like, that he had me.
48:33
SPEAKER_03: He looked at her, but he was looking at the camera, and I was like, that bite me.
48:36
SPEAKER_01: Daniel Craig, move over.
48:38
SPEAKER_03: Exactly that.
48:39
SPEAKER_03: Move over, Dan.
48:42
SPEAKER_03: Count Vlad has taken your place.
48:45
SPEAKER_03: I don't know his real name.
48:46
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, anyway, so witches, uh, Hexernacht, and all the rest of it.
48:52
SPEAKER_03: I thought, where does this come from?
48:54
SPEAKER_03: Um, so people gather in the mountains of Brochen in Germany, being through there, um, who either believe they're witches, witches um socially, um, or people who just like, you know what, I like hanging out with witches, like you.
49:10
SPEAKER_03: You eat your biscuit love, it's alright.
49:12
SPEAKER_03: And it's like a supernatural rave.
49:15
SPEAKER_03: Please look this up.
49:17
SPEAKER_03: There's some dances that I've seen them doing, and they're all like a group, and they've got brooms, and they all look different, very, very unique.
49:23
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
49:23
SPEAKER_03: And they do this like hexenac dance around the broom.
49:26
SPEAKER_03: I've seen that.
49:27
SPEAKER_03: It's fucking brilliant.
49:28
SPEAKER_01: I've seen that, I've seen that, and they do it to like really good, sort of like music.
49:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's really good.
49:33
SPEAKER_03: They're really good.
49:34
SPEAKER_03: And they make them some of them make themselves up to like they've got warts and everything, like proper like haggard.
49:39
SPEAKER_01: I have seen that, it looks fantastic.
49:40
SPEAKER_03: It's really good.
49:41
SPEAKER_03: So it's dancing rituals, it's like chaotic, basically, it's all sorts going on.
49:46
SPEAKER_03: Um, and there's feasts, apparently, deals with the devil and all that kind of thing.
49:52
SPEAKER_03: Very, very wild, right up my street.
49:56
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, uh, where does it all come from?
50:00
SPEAKER_03: It's um it's folklore, comes from folklore, and it comes from a belief that witches are real, obviously, that they're active, moving amongst us.
50:09
SPEAKER_03: And this was where we're going to go on to the uh Wurzburg witch trials.
50:14
SPEAKER_03: Have you heard of this?
50:15
SPEAKER_01: No, but I've been to Versburg.
50:17
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so we're through.
50:19
SPEAKER_03: So, Wurzburg.
50:21
SPEAKER_03: Um, we often think of the Salem witch trials or even the Scottish witch trials.
50:26
SPEAKER_03: If you're interested, I've got an unhinged episode on the Scottish Witch Trials.
50:29
SPEAKER_01: And there's some not far from here as well, over in Pendle.
50:32
SPEAKER_03: Pendle.
50:33
SPEAKER_03: Pendle Hill.
50:34
SPEAKER_03: City very, very haunted in Pendle.
50:37
SPEAKER_03: Now, some people do know about the witch trials in Germany, but not so much.
50:42
SPEAKER_03: And actually, it was prolific, it was bigger.
50:45
SPEAKER_03: The Salem witch trials, um, it wasn't as big and prolific as this.
50:50
SPEAKER_03: Uh not as many people died in those witch trials as people are led to believe.
50:55
SPEAKER_03: So it's inspired a lot, and actually, it's kept it in people's minds, which is something that we should not forget.
51:01
SPEAKER_03: It's one of those things that should never have happened, should never forget.
51:03
SPEAKER_03: And Salem keeps that alive.
51:05
SPEAKER_01: It does, if you like.
51:07
SPEAKER_01: It was just a way to persecute women.
51:08
SPEAKER_03: It was.
51:09
SPEAKER_03: Now, even though these trials they did happen around April um in the 1600s, and there's a sort of sort of this link with Hex and Knacked.
51:19
SPEAKER_03: Actually, the trials went on for quite a long time.
51:21
SPEAKER_03: There's some quite significant trials around April, that's why I'm bringing it up, and why the festival is kind of linked.
51:28
SPEAKER_03: But it went on for a long time, and actually, uh, in Wurzburg, hundreds and hundreds of people were killed.
51:36
SPEAKER_03: Unlike Pendle, Salem, Scotland.
51:39
SPEAKER_03: You probably talk about a couple of hundred just between those.
51:42
SPEAKER_03: In Germany, hundreds prolific, entire communities, children, local officials, even priests weren't quite safe.
51:53
SPEAKER_01: Well, the thing is, if they if they if they killed the mother, they'd often kill the daughters.
51:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
52:00
SPEAKER_03: So nobody was really safe, to be honest with you.
52:02
SPEAKER_03: Um, they were tortured, uh, on obviously under torture.
52:06
SPEAKER_03: They were they'd um admit to anything to stop the torture, but then they'd just be killed anyway.
52:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
52:13
SPEAKER_03: But what was happening here, so many people were involved, they were tortured terribly, and they were told to snitch on other witches and to stop the torture and just die.
52:26
SPEAKER_03: They would um they they'd uh agree to anything and they would name anybody.
52:32
SPEAKER_03: And so everybody and everybody was getting named in this.
52:35
SPEAKER_03: Just to get it over with, just to get it over and done with, which started a chain reaction across Germany.
52:42
SPEAKER_03: Um, and there was a quote by a guy called Friedrich Spee, and he was actually there at the time, and he said, Under torture, people confessed it to anything, and so the trials fed themselves, yeah, so they were never short of names because the way they were torturing people, they were giving out any aisle name just to make it stop, and then you go and hunt them down, they do the same.
53:04
SPEAKER_03: That's why there were so many people killed.
53:07
SPEAKER_03: Wow, yeah.
53:08
SPEAKER_03: So there's this interesting link back to Hex and Nact because, like I said, there's some quite prolific trials happening on and around the 30th of April.
53:17
SPEAKER_03: Um, and the stories that people told around these trials around this time have continued and fed on to Hex and Nact to the confessions, the gatherings, the supposedly um accusations of gatherings around bonfires, rituals, that kind of thing.
53:36
SPEAKER_03: And this is all now transposed onto uh Hexanacht.
53:40
SPEAKER_03: So the um the the even as the 1600s this was going on, this community have kept it going to keep it spoken about because so many people died.
53:52
SPEAKER_03: It spread over such a large area, and so Hexanacht is now celebrating what was what was once feared.
54:01
SPEAKER_03: It's not around Halloween because it's not uh it is a pagan festival, but not linked to a pagan season, yeah, if you like.
54:12
SPEAKER_03: They are using this time of year rather than October just to give a little nod to all them men, women and children who died during the witch trials in Germany.
54:23
SPEAKER_03: So men were killed as well.
54:24
SPEAKER_01: They were meant to be sorcerers then.
54:25
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
54:26
SPEAKER_03: And that happened in Salem and Scotland.
54:28
SPEAKER_03: Right.
54:28
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I didn't know as well.
54:30
SPEAKER_03: If you look in the records in Salem, especially there's two, I think.
54:33
SPEAKER_03: But in the Scottish witch trials a couple as well.
54:35
SPEAKER_01: Because they were called sorcerers rather than wizards, weren't they?
54:37
SPEAKER_01: It was it was more like it being a uh a sorcerer.
54:39
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
54:40
SPEAKER_03: Um I think I remember somewhere that somebody was killed as a familiar.
54:44
SPEAKER_01: Wow.
54:45
SPEAKER_03: Um and a sympathiser.
54:47
SPEAKER_03: So hiding witches as well.
54:49
SPEAKER_03: They were killed for hiding witches.
54:51
SPEAKER_01: And when was this?
54:53
SPEAKER_03: So this was in Germany, it was the 1600s.
54:55
SPEAKER_01: See, back then they they would fear anything, wouldn't they?
54:58
SPEAKER_03: Oh, anything.
54:59
SPEAKER_03: Anything.
55:00
SPEAKER_03: My um segment, my story that I did on Unhinged, it was around the Scottish witch trials, because a lot of midwives were killed.
55:07
SPEAKER_03: Not just in Scotland, but in Salem and in Germany.
55:10
SPEAKER_01: Well, because the midwife was usually a healer.
55:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
55:12
SPEAKER_01: Um so and then the healers were then the ones that were seen to be the witches because they understood that that well, they understood plants and things and yeah, and and things, and you know, how can you make them better?
55:21
SPEAKER_01: You must be a witch.
55:22
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
55:23
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's it go to them when you need them, but then persecute them when you're scared of something that's happened that couldn't be explained.
55:32
SPEAKER_01: It's yeah.
55:33
SPEAKER_03: Well, it's the church putting the fear of God into it.
55:35
SPEAKER_01: It is the church, it's a lot of it is doubtful.
55:36
SPEAKER_03: And and you know, turning people against who these people were midwives, yeah, some of them.
55:40
SPEAKER_03: So that's what my unhinged is about.
55:42
SPEAKER_03: It's I think it's um what's it called?
55:46
SPEAKER_03: Midwives versus.
55:47
SPEAKER_01: I need to, I'll be honest with you, I've not listened to a single unhinged.
55:50
SPEAKER_01: I want to.
55:51
SPEAKER_01: Some of the time.
55:52
SPEAKER_01: Finding the time.
55:53
SPEAKER_01: Finding the time.
55:53
SPEAKER_03: There's a recent one about Biford Dolphin, which was a big um disastrous sea with regards to saturation divers, and I've put like loads of sound effects in this.
56:03
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna download some Unhinged and I'm gonna listen to you on my flight.
56:07
SPEAKER_01: You're gonna accompany me all the way to Grand Canaria.
56:10
SPEAKER_03: Oh, my dulcet tones.
56:12
SPEAKER_01: Do you remember the time I told you that I heard you?
56:14
SPEAKER_01: Do you remember?
56:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
56:16
SPEAKER_01: Like sitting in traffic, and all I could hear was Vic.
56:19
SPEAKER_01: I was like, what?
56:20
SPEAKER_01: What?
56:22
SPEAKER_01: And the person in the car next to me in the traffic jam.
56:25
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
56:25
SPEAKER_01: Sitting there listening to you on their radio in the car.
56:27
SPEAKER_03: It's up and loads.
56:28
SPEAKER_03: I had somebody in the saying they were in the gym, and the person next to them.
56:33
unknown: Yeah.
56:37
SPEAKER_03: So anyway, was there anything else I want to say about witches in Germany?
56:40
SPEAKER_03: Because we fucking went off on one there completely, didn't we?
56:43
SPEAKER_03: Um no, not really.
56:44
SPEAKER_03: Just that I like the fact that in Germany they're not just like uh making like a museum out of the witch child's like in Pendleton and Salem.
56:54
SPEAKER_03: Um they're actually they turn something so really horrendous into a celebration.
56:58
SPEAKER_03: Big celebration.
56:59
SPEAKER_01: It's almost like in memory of the people that died.
57:01
SPEAKER_03: It is absolutely, and I love that.
57:03
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I do.
57:04
SPEAKER_03: It's Germany all the time.
57:05
SPEAKER_01: The dance when you see the dance when they do it.
57:07
SPEAKER_01: It's really good.
57:08
SPEAKER_01: It's really good because it's a proper sort of like dark sort of like music.
57:11
SPEAKER_03: The stamping the feet and the banging the broom and the dancing round it, and it's so good.
57:17
SPEAKER_03: So, so so so good.
57:18
SPEAKER_03: Lock it up if you haven't seen it, it's really really good.
57:21
SPEAKER_03: Right, so I'm gonna move on into a little Lady Lobotomy.
57:25
SPEAKER_03: I could have gone on, but we've gone on long enough, and I wanted to do me Lady Lobotomy.
57:30
SPEAKER_03: So just a little nod to the witches in Germany.
57:34
SPEAKER_03: Right, I like this one.
57:37
SPEAKER_03: Dear Lady Lobotomy.
57:40
SPEAKER_03: I've been chatting to someone on Fat Life, and we're getting on rather well.
57:44
SPEAKER_03: Talk unlimits, kinks, the usual.
57:48
SPEAKER_03: But I've got a bit of a thing for body odor, and I've no idea how to drop that into conversation without sounding like a complete creep.
57:57
SPEAKER_03: It's more of like the primal post-sene, sweaty kind of attraction rather than anything extreme.
58:03
SPEAKER_03: Do I just say it outright as one of my preferences, or is there like a different way to bring it up?
58:08
SPEAKER_03: I don't want to kill the vibe before we've even messed I've heard you talking about it on the pod, so I thought I'd ask.
58:14
SPEAKER_03: Thanks.
58:14
SPEAKER_01: So this person likes body odor.
58:18
SPEAKER_03: BO like armpit BO by the sound of it.
58:22
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
58:23
SPEAKER_03: How would how would you feel about that?
58:25
SPEAKER_03: If you if you somebody wanted to to fet play with you or whatever, I don't know if you'd ever do that, but whatever.
58:32
SPEAKER_03: And they said, Do you know what I don't have a wash because I really like the smell of sweaty armpits?
58:38
SPEAKER_03: What would you what would you say?
58:39
SPEAKER_03: I couldn't do it.
58:40
SPEAKER_03: Couldn't you?
58:41
SPEAKER_03: You'd have to be smelling fresh.
58:42
SPEAKER_01: I have to smell fresh.
58:43
SPEAKER_01: That's that's my personal preference.
58:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
58:46
SPEAKER_03: What if a bit personal, but what if you know you'd been working a bit hard and you know all of a sudden you've got a little bit of pongy and your partner went, really like that.
58:57
SPEAKER_03: Would it bother you?
58:59
SPEAKER_01: If it's my partner, no.
59:00
SPEAKER_03: No.
59:01
SPEAKER_03: But if someone that you didn't know, maybe I'm not saying that happens anymore, because obviously you've married now, but you know.
59:08
SPEAKER_01: Back in the day So back in the day, I would be I'd probably be more mortified than.
59:13
SPEAKER_01: Would you?
59:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
59:14
SPEAKER_01: Because A that I hadn't smelt it on myself and dealt with it.
59:19
SPEAKER_01: Um if they are into it and I'm into them, then I'd probably go with it for that moment.
59:31
SPEAKER_01: But I probably wouldn't want to repeat it.
59:33
SPEAKER_01: Wouldn't want to repeat.
59:34
SPEAKER_01: No.
59:34
SPEAKER_03: No.
59:35
SPEAKER_01: I don't like body odors and I don't I don't want to smell.
59:38
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
59:39
SPEAKER_03: Well I'm the same.
59:40
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't want to smell.
59:41
SPEAKER_03: Um but you know, if if Jim suddenly said like, a bit funkier after our sesh gives a whiff, I'd be like, okay.
59:54
SPEAKER_03: I I wouldn't be like, oh yeah, go on, it turns me on.
59:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it doesn't turn me on.
59:59
SPEAKER_03: But you know, if if he wanted to do it, I'd be like, yeah, fill your boots, I'll just lie, I mean that have a good, I'll sniff if you want.
1:00:05
SPEAKER_03: Wouldn't do it for me.
1:00:06
SPEAKER_01: But if he liked it afterwards So the so well, you're saying afterwards, but I mean in the days when I was single, if somebody was I was say I was on a date or something like that, and then that person sort of like, you know, we we we got a little bit sort of like saucy, close, yeah.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_01: And then they went, Oh, you you you've got a bit of BO and I love it.
1:00:26
SPEAKER_01: And they started to really sort of like go for me.
1:00:28
SPEAKER_01: I'd probably just lie there and take the ravishing.
1:00:31
SPEAKER_03: Would you yeah?
1:00:33
SPEAKER_03: In your younger days, but now you're a bit more self-conscious.
1:00:35
SPEAKER_01: Now I'm a bit more self-conscious, yeah.
1:00:37
SPEAKER_01: And and I I you know, because as you get older, yeah, yeah.
1:00:41
SPEAKER_01: You know, so no, I I don't I mean it's funny, isn't it?
1:00:45
SPEAKER_01: Because what's on the TV nowadays as well, body odr deodorant for everywhere.
1:00:50
SPEAKER_03: Everywhere?
1:00:51
SPEAKER_03: It's like when did when when did that come a thing?
1:00:53
SPEAKER_01: Bikini line, body uh bum stuff, groin, you know, used to be a bit like that and a bit and that was it, wasn't it?
1:01:01
SPEAKER_03: Thing is though, putting these products on yourself though, no.
1:01:06
SPEAKER_03: I mean, in those areas you're supposed to put deodorant and stuff like that, I think it's gonna cause more problems.
1:01:11
SPEAKER_01: And and a lot of people, they you know, they like to lick armpits and things, don't they?
1:01:15
SPEAKER_01: Right?
1:01:16
SPEAKER_01: And other areas.
1:01:17
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:01:17
SPEAKER_01: Right?
1:01:18
SPEAKER_01: And have you ever licked an armpit that's got deodorant on it?
1:01:21
SPEAKER_01: It's nasty.
1:01:22
SPEAKER_01: So why would you then lick somewhere else that's got it on it?
1:01:25
SPEAKER_03: No, no.
1:01:26
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:01:26
SPEAKER_03: I'd rather just have a wash.
1:01:30
SPEAKER_01: Have a wash and be fresh without any.
1:01:32
SPEAKER_03: This is why me and Jim.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_03: TMI.
1:01:35
SPEAKER_03: This is why me and Jim can't really do spontaneous sex.
1:01:39
SPEAKER_03: One, I'm too busy and I need to plan it in.
1:01:42
SPEAKER_03: Because if I don't plan it in, it will not happen because there's always something that needs my attention.
1:01:47
SPEAKER_03: So if we plan it in, then I know that I've got till that time to get shit done.
1:01:51
SPEAKER_03: And if it's not done by then, it's not getting done till later.
1:01:54
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:01:54
SPEAKER_03: And obviously, we put four or five hours aside.
1:01:58
SPEAKER_03: Um, but also both of us like to be like properly clean and well, it's the same with T and I, as you can probably imagine.
1:02:06
SPEAKER_01: You know, we can't have really spontaneous sex because it can get a bit messy.
1:02:11
SPEAKER_01: Well, and horrible.
1:02:13
SPEAKER_03: Similar.
1:02:14
SPEAKER_03: Prep.
1:02:16
SPEAKER_03: So we don't just we don't we don't have spontaneous over the years.
1:02:20
SPEAKER_03: I could probably count on two hands, to be honest, that's been spontaneous in that sense.
1:02:25
SPEAKER_00: It's never ended well.
1:02:26
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:02:27
SPEAKER_03: So you know, we uh we we wash, we prep, and all that's all fresh as a daisy.
1:02:33
SPEAKER_03: Not at the end of it, but by then you don't give a shit.
1:02:36
SPEAKER_01: No, you don't give a shit then.
1:02:37
SPEAKER_03: But yeah.
1:02:38
SPEAKER_03: So anyway, back to our guy who likes sweat.
1:02:41
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so so so he's basically saying then he's chatting to somebody, they're getting on, they're talking limits, they're looking like they want to meet.
1:02:48
SPEAKER_03: He's saying uh he's really into it, it's his thing.
1:02:51
SPEAKER_03: Do you just like drop it into conversation?
1:02:54
SPEAKER_03: Or is it is it gonna like a creep?
1:02:56
SPEAKER_03: Or is it something that he just like puts it off for now and brings it up later on?
1:03:00
SPEAKER_01: No, I'll drop it in.
1:03:01
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:03:01
SPEAKER_01: I'll drop it in.
1:03:02
SPEAKER_01: You've got to be honest with the person that you're talking to, you've got to let them know all the facts and let them make their decision about that.
1:03:09
SPEAKER_01: And if they're happy to do that, then it's fine.
1:03:12
SPEAKER_01: If they're not, then if they say no, I'm I'm not prepared to do that, and you still want to play and engage with them, then you then you put your little fetish aside and go with that, yeah.
1:03:25
SPEAKER_01: You go with their decision, um, and then in the future they know about it, they may change, but on the first time or anything like that, I'd say be open and honest.
1:03:35
SPEAKER_01: But if they turn that down, then take it on the chin.
1:03:41
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, absolutely.
1:03:42
SPEAKER_03: So the whole thing, you know, your kink is is not my kink, but your kink and my kids.
1:03:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've heard you say that, yeah.
1:03:47
SPEAKER_03: So just because I'm into whatever, I then can't just because I've I've disclosed that to my partner, I would not expect them to also be into it.
1:03:56
SPEAKER_03: No, exactly.
1:03:57
SPEAKER_03: But I'd still disclose, yeah, you know, unless it was so really weird.
1:04:01
SPEAKER_03: So I don't think there's wrong with this guy saying, Do you know what?
1:04:05
SPEAKER_03: It's probably not your thing, but I've got a I've got a thing for sweaty armpits.
1:04:08
SPEAKER_03: I'm not saying you need to have sweaty armpits, but if you ever did at any point, don't worry about it because I quite like it.
1:04:13
SPEAKER_03: I'd be I'd be saying something like that.
1:04:15
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't make it into a thing, I'd just like drop it in when they're talking about preferences and kinks and everything anyway, because it sounds like they're up to that point, it says that they're up to this point.
1:04:25
SPEAKER_03: Then I'd just drop it in in one of their conversations, like you know, oh I've got a bit of a weird one.
1:04:29
SPEAKER_03: If you've got any weird kinks, I'll tell me mine.
1:04:31
SPEAKER_03: I'll tell I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours.
1:04:33
SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
1:04:34
SPEAKER_03: That kind of thing.
1:04:35
SPEAKER_03: It doesn't mean you want to go ahead and expedite it, it just means that you've shared it, and it might come up at some point.
1:04:40
SPEAKER_03: She might go got a bit of a whiff on, do you know how that'll smell?
1:04:44
SPEAKER_03: That kind of thing.
1:04:45
SPEAKER_03: But she didn't know that, she's not gonna offer it up.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_01: No, exactly.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_01: It's like it reminds me of a time when um before I met T and I was sort of like, you know, out there and I was on the apps, so to speak.
1:04:56
SPEAKER_01: They'd only just been launched by then, obviously.
1:04:59
SPEAKER_01: Um, because we've been together 22 years now.
1:05:02
SPEAKER_01: Oh congratulations.
1:05:03
SPEAKER_01: You like him then?
1:05:05
SPEAKER_01: Just a little bit.
1:05:07
SPEAKER_01: Um, so I I remember a conversation that I had with someone on there who was looking to hook up and he basically said, Um, would you sit on my face with a dirty bottom and fart?
1:05:24
SPEAKER_01: No, I just couldn't do it.
1:05:26
SPEAKER_01: I blocked him.
1:05:26
unknown: No.
1:05:27
SPEAKER_01: That's like, no, not for me.
1:05:29
SPEAKER_01: You know, go and find whoever you want.
1:05:31
SPEAKER_01: But but he but at least he was open and honest about what he wanted.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_01: But I just could not go with anyone that was into that.
1:05:37
SPEAKER_01: That's not my thing.
1:05:38
SPEAKER_03: No, scat's not my thing.
1:05:39
SPEAKER_01: No.
1:05:39
SPEAKER_01: But it wasn't scat, it was just parts.
1:05:41
SPEAKER_03: I know, but if you've got a dirty bum.
1:05:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but what it's what it's on about is there's gonna be poo parcles.
1:05:46
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
1:05:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no.
1:05:48
SPEAKER_01: Not my thing.
1:05:48
SPEAKER_03: You know, if it's a dirty bum hole, that it's not like you know, you've wiped and it's clean, and then when you far a poo parcle comes out, what he means is is that it's not quite clean.
1:05:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_03: The fart, it's like poo particles.
1:06:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he wants the whole lot, and it's like, no, that's not me.
1:06:05
SPEAKER_01: But the farting and all of that, no.
1:06:07
SPEAKER_01: No.
1:06:08
SPEAKER_01: So I so I took the decision that we hadn't met, it was nothing like that.
1:06:11
SPEAKER_01: It was literally an app.
1:06:12
SPEAKER_01: I just clicked block and that was it.
1:06:14
SPEAKER_01: I moved on.
1:06:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:06:15
SPEAKER_01: Right.
1:06:15
SPEAKER_01: He was open and honest with me, and I was open and honest with him.
1:06:18
SPEAKER_01: And the fact that I went, see you later.
1:06:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:06:20
SPEAKER_01: Right?
1:06:20
SPEAKER_01: Um, that's fine.
1:06:22
SPEAKER_01: With that situation, just if you're having a conversation with them, just be honest, what's the worst that can happen?
1:06:26
SPEAKER_01: They can say, No, you're not for me.
1:06:28
SPEAKER_01: Go find someone else who who may be open to it.
1:06:31
SPEAKER_01: But if they're not, take it on the chin if you want to play with that person and go with what they're comfortable with.
1:06:37
SPEAKER_03: Do you know what?
1:06:38
SPEAKER_03: I think if this is a vanilla relationship, it might not be something that you bring up straight away.
1:06:43
SPEAKER_03: It's something that you might creep into conversation, maybe.
1:06:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you're talking about.
1:06:47
SPEAKER_01: These are already into kink.
1:06:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and they're talking.
1:06:50
SPEAKER_03: They're already talking limits and kinks and stuff.
1:06:53
SPEAKER_03: So I don't see any reason why you shouldn't bring it up because there's going to be other kinks that you're into that the other person isn't.
1:07:01
SPEAKER_00: That's right.
1:07:01
SPEAKER_03: That that is all about when you're talking limits and kinks is established and what you're doing.
1:07:06
SPEAKER_03: Chewing toenails or something like that.
1:07:08
SPEAKER_03: So, you know, this might not be the only kink that this person might not be into.
1:07:12
SPEAKER_03: It's all just past the process.
1:07:13
SPEAKER_03: So I think actually, in a really good position to to chat about this and and get it out there now, uh, you haven't got to wait till further on down the line.
1:07:23
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
1:07:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:07:24
SPEAKER_03: So good luck and um happy sniffing if it happens.
1:07:31
SPEAKER_03: Right, so I'm gonna finish on a little better sharp, guys.
1:07:41
SPEAKER_03: It's not it's not like a dead extreme one.
1:07:43
SPEAKER_03: And it has another fancy name.
1:07:45
SPEAKER_03: I'm just gonna bring it up because it's um a little bit different.
1:07:50
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
1:07:51
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:07:52
SPEAKER_03: Do you know?
1:07:53
SPEAKER_01: The muffin man.
1:07:56
SPEAKER_03: I told you how campy was doing this.
1:08:02
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
1:08:02
SPEAKER_03: Do you know what inflation fetish is?
1:08:06
SPEAKER_01: Inflation fetish.
1:08:08
SPEAKER_01: Well, inflation, well, it depends on w which concept you inflation.
1:08:14
SPEAKER_01: So obviously blowing up.
1:08:16
SPEAKER_01: So fetish are people who like gas in their body.
1:08:20
SPEAKER_03: No, so this is what all the people think.
1:08:22
SPEAKER_03: It's actually um inflation with saline, it's with fluid.
1:08:29
SPEAKER_03: So um I have actually done this.
1:08:34
SPEAKER_01: Right.
1:08:34
SPEAKER_01: That doesn't surprise me, Vic.
1:08:36
SPEAKER_03: And I've taught people how to do it as well.
1:08:38
SPEAKER_03: It's very dangerous, and so you shouldn't do it unless you're being taught properly.
1:08:42
SPEAKER_03: So there are some absolutely fucking crazy, love you, guys out there who are like to have the scrotum inflated with saline.
1:08:55
SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
1:08:59
SPEAKER_03: Spit it in there.
1:09:07
SPEAKER_03: You're not expecting that until I took a drink.
1:09:21
SPEAKER_00: Fucking hell.
1:09:23
SPEAKER_03: Timing was perfect.
1:09:26
SPEAKER_01: God of crying You were saving that, weren't you?
1:09:38
SPEAKER_01: You've been saving that one just for me, haven't you?
1:09:40
SPEAKER_01: I mean, honestly.
1:09:42
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna steep it up now.
1:09:45
SPEAKER_03: Oh god.
1:09:46
SPEAKER_03: Would you allow somebody to inflate your scrotum with Saline?
1:09:51
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:09:52
SPEAKER_03: Why do you think people do this?
1:09:54
SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm gonna I'm just gonna say it's a fucking word, that's why.
1:09:59
SPEAKER_03: So why would you do that?
1:10:01
SPEAKER_03: It's done for sensation mainly.
1:10:03
SPEAKER_03: It's tight and of pressure in your scrotum, and apparently, when it's gone, it feels a lot better.
1:10:10
SPEAKER_03: It's like that that weightlessness, it feels a lot better.
1:10:13
SPEAKER_03: But it's a sensation of tightness.
1:10:16
SPEAKER_03: People quite like to maintain it as well, and then have the balls flicked.
1:10:21
SPEAKER_03: Sorry, sorry.
1:10:23
SPEAKER_03: Uh visual transformation.
1:10:25
SPEAKER_03: Some people like to look like they're deformed in that way, they've done something so extreme.
1:10:31
SPEAKER_03: Yes, it is a form of body modification as well for some people.
1:10:34
SPEAKER_03: They want to look extreme, so they might actually go on the likes of uh Pornhub or Adult Works or you know, just have photos taken of a lot of saline in the scrotum, it looks so extreme.
1:10:46
SPEAKER_03: And some people get off on body parts that look very different to how they should.
1:10:52
SPEAKER_03: Scrotum, when it's not inflated or enlarged because they're full, they're quite wrinkly, they've got a lot of stretch in them, haven't they?
1:10:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they also have.
1:11:01
SPEAKER_03: So when you're inflating uh a scrotum with saline, they can actually inflate quite large before it becomes uncomfortable.
1:11:07
SPEAKER_03: And that for me was something that it took a little while to get past because I had to put quite a lot in there for it to have the effect they wanted.
1:11:15
SPEAKER_03: And could it stretch too much, it took a lot.
1:11:17
SPEAKER_03: How'd you take it out?
1:11:19
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so uh it normally reabsorbs.
1:11:23
SPEAKER_01: It takes a while then.
1:11:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so they get it's this is one of the very few fetishes where they have a lasting effect for quite a while.
1:11:31
SPEAKER_03: And so if anybody's interested in this, you only start with a small amount at first and see how long it takes your body to reabsorb and how it feels.
1:11:38
SPEAKER_03: You don't want to go for like a litre of saline.
1:11:42
SPEAKER_03: Not that it really should be, uh, straight away.
1:11:44
SPEAKER_03: A litre?
1:11:45
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:11:47
SPEAKER_03: Because you don't know how long it's gonna take to reabsorb.
1:11:50
SPEAKER_03: And I mean, how'd you fiss it in your fucking pants?
1:11:52
SPEAKER_03: Just walk around in pyjamas for a week.
1:11:56
SPEAKER_03: You would though, wouldn't you?
1:11:57
SPEAKER_03: Be walking around, you'd be riding a horse.
1:11:59
SPEAKER_03: Like fucking balls swinging against your legs.
1:12:06
SPEAKER_03: Who was the Viz character years ago?
1:12:08
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't know, I never read it.
1:12:10
SPEAKER_03: Poppy Big Balls or something.
1:12:12
SPEAKER_01: I've never I never read Viz.
1:12:13
SPEAKER_01: My brother did, but I didn't.
1:12:14
SPEAKER_03: There's a character in balls in balls, in Viz, and uh his balls are so huge he has to um carve them around in a wheel bad.
1:12:22
SPEAKER_03: Like that character.
1:12:24
SPEAKER_03: So you should at least start with a small amount just in case because your body might absorb might not absorb it correctly or in a timely manner.
1:12:32
SPEAKER_03: You'll be left with like fucking big massive balls for ages.
1:12:35
SPEAKER_03: Also, women have inflated their breasts as well, their breast tissue.
1:12:41
SPEAKER_00: That's gotta be dangerous.
1:12:42
SPEAKER_03: It is a bit more dangerous, yes.
1:12:44
SPEAKER_03: It doesn't, if you know what you're doing, it doesn't necessarily damage the structures, but if you don't know what you're doing, it really, really, really, really can.
1:12:50
SPEAKER_03: And I mean it can't be done with somebody who's got implants already.
1:12:54
SPEAKER_01: No thing you want to do is pairs then.
1:12:56
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
1:12:57
SPEAKER_03: So there's quite a lot of risk involved in inflation fetish.
1:13:01
SPEAKER_03: And uh I'm not gonna go into too much detail of how it's done, because I don't really want you to go and do it unless you're being tort.
1:13:10
SPEAKER_01: What was it I saw?
1:13:12
SPEAKER_01: So I I've I I I don't know if you know about this, but people putting Botox in their wing rang as well.
1:13:18
SPEAKER_01: Because apparently it makes it look bigger.
1:13:20
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:13:21
SPEAKER_01: No, it does.
1:13:22
SPEAKER_03: No, I know, but what you don't know what long-term effect it's gonna have.
1:13:25
SPEAKER_01: No, Botox is.
1:13:30
SPEAKER_03: Just take a fucking blue pill.
1:13:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's like, why do this to yourself?
1:13:38
SPEAKER_03: No, no, I would if I had a penis, I would not be doing anything like that to her.
1:13:43
SPEAKER_03: I probably wouldn't even get a pierced, do you know?
1:13:44
SPEAKER_00: No, I wouldn't.
1:13:45
SPEAKER_00: Well, I haven't.
1:13:48
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't, I haven't tried a pierce clit for ages.
1:13:51
SPEAKER_03: It was great.
1:13:51
SPEAKER_03: Loved it, loved it.
1:13:52
SPEAKER_03: Then I forgot what it was like to not have a pierced clit because I had quite a long bar.
1:13:56
SPEAKER_03: I never ever took it out because I quite liked it.
1:13:58
SPEAKER_03: And then I took it out one day.
1:14:00
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, why have I had this piercing for so long?
1:14:02
SPEAKER_03: It was so much better without you can it's much more dynamic without a piercing, let's put it that way.
1:14:07
SPEAKER_01: Is it more sensitive now?
1:14:08
SPEAKER_01: It's been pierced.
1:14:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, no, because it's actually the hood that gets pierced, not the actual clit itself.
1:14:14
SPEAKER_03: But because it's on the hood, you have a bar, it slides down and over.
1:14:19
SPEAKER_03: But nowadays, sorry, I know you're a gay man, don't really want to hear about this, but not every day out there is a gay, and you do want to hear about it.
1:14:26
SPEAKER_03: SARS Sucky toys for clits.
1:14:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:14:29
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I like those though, they're cute.
1:14:30
SPEAKER_03: They are cute when you've got a clip piercing, it won't fit in the toy.
1:14:34
SPEAKER_03: Right.
1:14:35
SPEAKER_03: You'll never take it out.
1:14:36
SPEAKER_03: So it's not practical for the toys that we have nowadays.
1:14:40
SPEAKER_03: And once it's out, I don't want to put it back in again.
1:14:42
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:14:43
SPEAKER_03: So I'll left it.
1:14:44
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:14:44
SPEAKER_01: Because you want to use the toy more.
1:14:47
SPEAKER_03: Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant.
1:14:50
SPEAKER_03: So I'm not gonna go much more into that because uh I don't want um anybody to practice and have a go without being taught.
1:14:57
SPEAKER_01: No, don't try this at home.
1:14:58
SPEAKER_03: All Zile will say is there's an infection risk with this, whether you're not you're doing it or not.
1:15:04
SPEAKER_03: Uh, even if your equipment is totally sterile, there's still a risk there.
1:15:08
SPEAKER_03: Bacteria can be introduced under the skin, no problem at all.
1:15:11
SPEAKER_03: You don't want necritis.
1:15:14
SPEAKER_03: And also, people have developed cellular cellulitis from this, which is a very deep skin infection.
1:15:19
SPEAKER_03: You often see it in legs, cellulitis, or buttocks, and it can spread really quickly and can become necrotizant fasciitis.
1:15:27
SPEAKER_03: And the first thing that will drop off is the thing that has been inflated, so your scrotum will drop off.
1:15:36
SPEAKER_03: So, on that um scrotum dropping, not bombshell.
1:15:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, to me, it's just a load of bollocks, isn't it?
1:15:44
SPEAKER_03: Bomb on shh, we're gonna go.
1:15:47
SPEAKER_03: So, Kev, over to you.
1:15:50
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so if you're binge watching, put the kettle on.
1:15:53
SPEAKER_01: If not, she'll see you next week.
1:15:56
SPEAKER_01: No, I've got that wrong.
1:15:57
SPEAKER_01: I missed it.
1:15:57
SPEAKER_01: Oh fuck.
1:15:58
SPEAKER_01: I mean, don't put that in.
1:15:59
SPEAKER_03: I have totally put it watching.
1:16:00
SPEAKER_01: You are, I think we're gonna put it right.
1:16:02
SPEAKER_01: If you're binge watching, put the kettle on, she'll see you in five.
1:16:06
SPEAKER_01: If not, she'll see you next week.
1:16:08
SPEAKER_03: Oh, is it beautiful fleet?
1:16:09
SPEAKER_03: Of course you got it wrong.
1:16:10
SPEAKER_01: I got it wrong, didn't I?
1:16:11
SPEAKER_01: Should we do it together?
1:16:12
SPEAKER_01: Do you want to do?
1:16:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:16:14
SPEAKER_03: Ready?
1:16:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:16:15
SPEAKER_03: So if you're binge watching, put the kettle on.
1:16:18
SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in five.
