- 0:00Are you struggling with being single? Your ticket? I want somebody in my
- 0:06life, but what the heck, I just can't do it. I've got
- 0:09a couple of friends who are single, ready to mingle, but I think
- 0:12they're you know, I wouldn't say struggling, but well, it's not easy
- 0:16out there. I hear there's a good chance that if you are struggling to
- 0:19be single, one of these things is affecting them. Okay, I got
- 0:22the four reasons you're still single? Like number four, you just don't put
- 0:25the time and effort in the meeting someone. Isn't that funny how that works?
- 0:29Hilarious? Because that is one of the gals I'm talking about. Is
- 0:33that what she's like. I just doesn't want to go on a dating app,
- 0:36doesn't really want to be like, Hi, I'm single, everybody,
- 0:38come come after me. And I don't know if it's us like the Hallmark
- 0:42version of women, or you just think like when the time is right,
- 0:45something will literally fall into your lap, or you hope a situation like that
- 0:49happens. I liken it to golf Amanda being say, of course you do.
- 0:53I found myself the other day at Rose Creek as I three, putted
- 0:55for the fifth time, thinking, girl, I can't putt? Why am
- 1:00I not putting well this year? And then I thought about it. I'm
- 1:03like, well, how many practice sessions have you spent on the putting green.
- 1:06What's the number of practice putts you've taken? It's probably zero? So
- 1:08why why would I be getting better? Why would you not be single?
- 1:11If you're literally not putting the effort in see what I mean the great analogy
- 1:15nailed it, Pike, If you really nailed it for those single people,
- 1:19another reason you might still be single. You just simply don't have the skills
- 1:23to be a good partner for someone. Oh and that's I mean, that's
- 1:26a reality check. Yeah, it's like a lot of things like golf.
- 1:29Maybe it's just not good the skills, I mean, does it really what
- 1:33skills is a weird way to put it. It is. Yeah, you
- 1:36just got don't have the qualities that are desirable for somebody to want you to
- 1:38be in there. I know. Maybe that's just who you are though.
- 1:42And I feel like there's a lot of people, especially later in life,
- 1:45they create like their own end will be And so you're doing so together and
- 1:49you can kind of align those a little bit. Yeah, exactly, But
- 1:53the good news is skills can be learned, so don't worry. Finally,
- 1:57number two, you're too jammed up with leftovers from past relationships. See that
- 2:01one often. I'm sorry if they could have worded that jammed jam with I
- 2:07mean leftovers from others. You're emotionally jammed up with leftover That is kind of
- 2:14gross that's going on. You probably want to just kind of give yourself some
- 2:16time. Man's standing up in tears. You're a sick o. You are
- 2:23sicky. Let that go, Yeah, you do it. You just kind
- 2:28of I don't know how long that takes to work itself out of you.
- 2:31But just give yourself some time, honey. Okay, maybe a therapy.
- 2:37And the number one reason you're still single your ability to playfully flirt with men
- 2:43is weak. It is huge. You gotta be able to playfully flirty.
- 2:47Flirting is the worst though, because don't you can either tell somebody who's doing
- 2:52it in it so grossly over the top. Well, that's a skill.
- 2:54It's like it's like being a salesperson. You know, It's like you're aware
- 3:00that they're selling you something. It's over You're not you know, what I
- 3:02mean. But you gotta be cash or you gotta be sneaky. And maybe
- 3:06now's not the time to say it, but I and I apologize, but
- 3:08I just got it. I am so glad I'm not single. It's just
- 3:14gotta be a rough go. I was really glad when you finally had worked
- 3:16out all those leftovers, all those kings. Yes, exactly like a Manda
- 3:21in the morning, Big ninety eight point seven, No, Amanda stills the
- 3:24seat looks see. It feels like everybody's worried about Britney Spears and her spending
- 3:30habits. There's been a couple of stories about it over the past couple of
- 3:32weeks, and we found out she made forty million dollars alone just off of
- 3:36her book and then also her duet with Elton John last year forty mail.
- 3:40I wondered how much a book could produce. That's crazy. Now she's gotten
- 3:44understand your doesn't mean they're gonna make forty mail every year. So you gotta,
- 3:47you know, hold onto those acorns, you know what I'm saying.
- 3:50Yeah, there might be a little lull there, but I love to see
- 3:53this. She took to Instagram yesterday with a picture of her mom and I
- 3:54believe it was her nieces, and it looked like they were sitting at like
- 3:58a little kid's table. Brittany was not in the photo, but she captioned
- 4:01it, we all have issues with our family, but dear God, you
- 4:03can't help how much you love them. I'm not in this picture, but
- 4:06I sure as hell feel like I am. On a side note, if
- 4:10you know me, I've always ended up at the kids table at every function
- 4:13I've ever been to, the most elite, expensive dinners, and I always
- 4:16end up finding myself sitting in the back with the kids anyways and posting this
- 4:20pick because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them. Oh well,
- 4:25I mean, all you do is you can just hope the best for her.
- 4:28Her mom likes them, they figured out, oh really great. That's
- 4:30something I don't like post of people I hate, or maybe I do.
- 4:35Maybe I do just to keep up the appearances. I just really hope that
- 4:39they can mend this relationship and move on. I know so too. She
- 4:45needs that support system because right now it's feeling like there's just this boyfriend.
- 4:48She just can't pick up the right guy. I feel like that's one of
- 4:51the biggest problems she's had. This guy just doesn't feel like he's he's in
- 4:56There's got to be some accountability on her end too. It's not like just
- 4:59oh, I've had ten guys in a row who have all been bad guys.
- 5:01He's got a type. What's going on? Sam? We were trying
- 5:04to make him be like he was not in it for the right reasons,
- 5:08and now hindsight, it's like, you know what, he maybe actually had
- 5:11his best interest in heart. Her best interest in is Yeah, it didn't
- 5:13seem so bad. You kind of kept waiting to find out something bad,
- 5:15but he seems okay, Yeah, exactly, all right, Sophie Turner,
- 5:18She is talking about how everybody thought she was a really bad mom when her
- 5:23and Jojonas went through their breakup. Remember the tabloid roomors like she's a party
- 5:27girl, she's never there for her kids because they at that point were with
- 5:30Joe Jonas on tour because she was filming a movie in a different country.
- 5:34So she sat down for this really candid interview saying, I was torturing myself
- 5:38because every move I was making. Not only did I have mom guilt just
- 5:42in general being away from my kids, but then everybody was painting me to
- 5:45be a big bad mommy, which would not be She didn't say quote big
- 5:48bad mommy, but that sounds like an interesting subgenre. I haven't seen that
- 5:56tab before. Okay, come on now, she's on the floor. Here
- 6:02it comes. But she did take a minute. She did. She did
- 6:12take a minute to talk about Taylor Swift and how she is an absolute hero,
- 6:16saying, I've never been more grateful to anyone. Uh, because she
- 6:20took my children and me and and it was a home that was a safe
- 6:24space for them as they were going through everything. And she has a heart
- 6:26of gold. Very genuine of Taylor Swift to do that. You just can't
- 6:30say enough about how good of a person she is. I know one day
- 6:31she'll too make a great, big bad mommy. She chooses so well.
- 6:38It's been thirty years since the first one, and they were teasing us,
- 6:42and you and I both as soon as we heard Happy Gilmore, didn't we
- 6:45both runder Netflix and watch it again? Absolutely, And as soon as I
- 6:47did, I'm like, you know, this still hits just a great movie.
- 6:51It didn't make me feel like I'm watching a cheesy movie from the nineties.
- 6:55Sometimes you go back and you're like, Okay, that wasn't as great
- 6:58as I remembered. Well Adam Sandler too, or is he having a child?
- 7:03Happy Gilmour too with Adam Sandler is happening on Netflix. That's your home?
- 7:10Are you too? For your home? To me? I can't wait.
- 7:14It's gonna be none. I think we can just guarantee not gonna be
- 7:15as good as the first one. But how could it be? Right?
- 7:18You know, it doesn't have like nostalgia on its side in my mind right
- 7:23now, Bike, I gotta tell you what's on my head. I can
- 7:25see what's on your head. A set of headphones, hair, big Bad
- 7:30Daddy, Big Bad Daddy. Now I'm thinking of Big Daddy too, if
- 7:33you wish to do that now, that would be funny. Big Daddy too,
- 7:38Yeah, I mean they'd all be good. He's just such a different
- 7:41guy now compared to like the old Billy Madison Adam Sandler. So it'll be
- 7:44interesting to see if it's focused on him or is it one of these like
- 7:47sequels where there's like this new cast and he's just sort of in it,
- 7:51like like Apollo or Creed that movie, right, like Rocky's in it.
- 7:56But it's about the other guy. Yeah, and I think they ditch rocking
- 7:59Out completely. I don't think don't need them. Creates a great series on
- 8:03his own, right, really absolutely yeah, Michael B. Jordan No what
- 8:07Yeah, great actor. Sounds like you're very familiar with his work. T
- 8:13get a man in the morning. People with kids are sharing the modern parenting
- 8:20trends. You know, there's a lot of new age things that parents are
- 8:22doing that they disagree with, like, for example, the number one thing
- 8:26somebody said, I cannot stand how people put so much pressure on kids to
- 8:31play sports. Oh. I just had this conversation with a neighborhood lady who
- 8:35has kids. Are don't want to call her a friend quite on. That's
- 8:41got to be tough for her to hear. Is that really all she considers
- 8:45me? A neighborhood lady. That was a weird phrase. A neighborhood friend.
- 8:50Yes, some character in the neighborhood. Some lady just started talking to
- 8:58me. Doesn't live in a house, but she's she's usually around. In
- 9:01my mind of envisioning the pigeon lady, dude now home alone, But that
- 9:07was she goes, do you have the kids signed up for anything for the
- 9:09summer and just deer headlights. I'm like, no, we're going to the
- 9:13lake, like she might as well have a gun pointed at you. Got
- 9:16any any activities for the kids? Huh? But it is it is wild
- 9:20to me. I have these conversations all the time. And much like people
- 9:24say, no, my kid isn't gonna have an iPad, they're not going
- 9:28to have screen time, I'm the mom right now saying, oh my gosh,
- 9:31my kids aren't going to be in any of those you know, extended
- 9:33activities outside of what they're supposed to be because nowadays, like if your kid's
- 9:37good at something, you're playing baseball year round, or if our kids get
- 9:41into hockey, it's your around. I mean, if they're good at something,
- 9:43you're putting them in even volleyball, whatever it is. Is that right?
- 9:46It's crazy. I don't know. I love a good three sport athlete,
- 9:50but the thing is some of these kids are finding that balance of the
- 9:52three sports. But they're still going year round, whether it be camp training
- 9:58or traveling tea. At what age is it just silly? Like I was
- 10:01talking to my friend whose nieces are playing soccer, and I think they're three
- 10:07and He's like, I'm like, how is it. He's like, oh,
- 10:07it's just chaos. They have no idea what's going on, you know
- 10:11what I mean? And this is where the kind of the pressure lies with
- 10:13us right now. Briggs his dne soccer for four weeks. That was in
- 10:18him and said we're in it together. Yeah, said did dance, She
- 10:22tried gymnastics, but that we haven't really put them in anything else, like
- 10:26we play t ball at home, we have soccer at home, like we
- 10:28play those things there. I'm like, it feels just less stressful to me.
- 10:33Not too early to get Briggs into wrestling, you know, want to
- 10:35make a man out of it. We have discussed putting him in out in
- 10:39Horse they have like a wrestling club, and we're thinking about doing that in
- 10:43the fall. But again, I just feel like we only get a few
- 10:46summers to truly enjoy our kids at this age before we are pressured to be
- 10:50in all that. It's true. Another thing a modern parenting trend that parents
- 10:56are disagreeing with, and you touched on screen time. Parents not watch their
- 11:00own behavior when it comes to screen time. Oh yeah, see that a
- 11:03lot. They're all about reducing their kids screen time. It's like, well,
- 11:07if you're sitting there on your phone all day, what do you think
- 11:11the kid's gonna want to do? Yeah, like mother, like daughter or
- 11:13vice versa. I know you're pretty good about your own screen time. Oh
- 11:16yeah, I'm not gonna judge. No, barely use my phone hardly.
- 11:22Another trend parents aren't on board with is breaking the bank for your kid's birthday
- 11:26party, spending on expensive dessert tables, decorations, balloon backdrops, and of
- 11:33course it's just like the Instagram effect. Yes, every kid's birthday has to
- 11:37have this like adorable theme and all the decorations. Like back in the day,
- 11:41it's like, drop us off at Sunset Lanes and you're good and you're
- 11:43rolling out. Another conversation I had yesterday at pick up for daycare, there
- 11:50was a gal who had said, Hey, we aren't doing a birthday party
- 11:54for her daughter, but we'd love to get together after you know, preschools
- 11:56out and stuff like that. Maybe get together. It's like, yeah,
- 11:58I I felt bad because Sid got invited to like three birthday parties around her
- 12:05birthday time, and we never had a friend birthday because thankfully it fell on
- 12:09easters. We Oh no, you know, we had to really make it
- 12:11special just as a family. I just it's a lot of pressure. Yeah,
- 12:16and then the worst that you know, you all in, go all
- 12:18in. And if you have multiple kids, I can't imagine somebody with like
- 12:22four kids. You're gonna have a birthday every six weeks, right, you
- 12:24know, not to mention all the friends' birthdays. It's multiplied on top of
- 12:28that. And again I'm totally using the crutch of there's still so little right
- 12:33now. I just know the band aid's gonna be ripped off here in a
- 12:35couple of years, and then it's gonna be Sidney's gonna be graduating. She's
- 12:39still so little graduating. Stop when she's graduating preschool? I know on Monday,
- 12:46crazy boy? All right? And finally, the modern parenting trend parents
- 12:52just aren't quite on board with is making your child's entire identity revolve around their
- 12:58extracurricular tivities. Let them be kids, They're not robots. It's not about
- 13:03the bragging rights. Sid already told me. I mean, and this one's
- 13:07gonna you're gonna be able to relate to this? Is that right? Okay?
- 13:09Great, she's been at just for kicks, dance just like mama was
- 13:13for so many years you were. I did some of that, but then
- 13:18whitting a Deer Creek Rhythm Mats, of course was big time. Were some
- 13:24of the better dancers. Didn't they just continue to do the studio dance stuff
- 13:28we were in whitting a Deer Creek. I didn't go to brainerd I went
- 13:31to a dance camp there every once in a while. Yeah, okay,
- 13:35but Sid did tell me she's ready to play basketball and volleyball, and that's
- 13:39great. I want her to be a baller too. But the way she's
- 13:43making it sound, her dance days are over at age five, and that's
- 13:46it. Huh. I mean, you know, it'll be great. It'll
- 13:50be great whatever she decides to do, it'll be totally fine. They also
- 13:52in fine. What's more miserable for a parent to have to sit and watch
- 13:56like a kid doing a dance recitle or a basketball tournament, especially at least
- 14:01dancing. At least they're up there, because imagine, if she does play
- 14:05basketball, then she's not good and she's just you you know, you feel
- 14:07bad you gotta go watch, But there is something about and then you feel
- 14:09bad if like they're just like they're not really dancing and they're just standing there
- 14:15and there the distraction, the one that doesn't matter, there's She'll be fine
- 14:18no matter what, all of the kids will be Everyone will be fine.
- 14:22That's what I'm taking them today. Fine, Amanda in the morning on seven.
- 14:28I mean it, when's the last time you've been in Vegas? Because
- 14:31there's a serious problem they're having in Vegas. Gosh, been a long time.
- 14:35I actually just saw this morning that they closed or are closing the Mirage
- 14:39something like that. I saw. But they're going through an invasion. What
- 14:45an invasion of the strip? They're being taken over by scorpions. Now,
- 14:50is that even possible. You don't get a lot of scorpions up here,
- 14:54and even in you wouldn't think the Vegas Strip, and well it's in the
- 14:58middle of a desert and that's where scorpions. Now. Scorpions are invading the
- 15:01strip by the dozens. And a man was at the receiving end of one
- 15:05of these scorpions. In the most unfortunate way. He is suing the hotel
- 15:09he was staying at the Venetian, nice little spot there on the south end
- 15:13of the strip, because he was in bed in a hotel where you think
- 15:18you're safe. The door's locked. Heck, you might even dead bolt it.
- 15:22Laying in bed and suddenly he was woken by a horrific burning sensation.
- 15:28Aye yeah, yeai. So immediately in Vegas. Who knows what that is?
- 15:31You don't know. Well, he wakes up and you know, it's
- 15:35just the confusion of just being woken up to this horrible pain, Like what
- 15:39is going on? Could be anything. So he reached down where it was
- 15:43at in his Reebok underwear, which is oddly detailed in the story, was
- 15:52like a sponsored spot for a Rebok or what. But reached in there and
- 15:56realized that inside of his underwear was a scorpion and it has stung him in
- 16:02the privates. Is this like a hangover moment? Like did somebody punk him
- 16:08and put a scorpion in the room? Was it left behind? I mean,
- 16:12what kind of joke is that ridiculous? Gotcha? Gotcha Todds. I
- 16:18don't know that's something you and the boys from DGF would have done back in
- 16:22the day. Yeah, put a scorpion in somebody's underwear, Come on now,
- 16:26peeing in somebody's shampoo bottle, that's on limits, but we draw the
- 16:30line a scorpion in the underwear. I didn't. Somebody did. Yeah,
- 16:36oh my god, this back and forth battle going of we were living in
- 16:40the temple, this five bedroom house and more head legends of the Hidden dumbled
- 16:45that was. That was like the moment of like the truce was called,
- 16:48like okay, dear god, we're done here. Imagine going to shampoo before
- 16:52a night out. So gross. Yeah, it was. Anyway, So
- 16:57this guy reaches down in his under I realized that he'd been stung by a
- 17:00scorpion. When now he's in a full on battle with a scorpion. He
- 17:03said he got stung four to five more times before the creature gave way.
- 17:07Oh that's terrifying. So now he's soon in the hotel because he said he
- 17:11complained about it, which is they didn't even give him like a free hotel
- 17:15room. They didn't even apologize, not even an upgrade, nothing, nothing.
- 17:21Man, Can I get a room without a scorpion? No? Sorry,
- 17:22we're full. You're stuck there. So is this an actual ongoing problem?
- 17:27Like are scorpions taking over the Vegas Strip like the cicadas? I don't
- 17:33know if it's like that. This is the only private part incident I've heard
- 17:37about, got it, But if there's one or two more, I may
- 17:41reconsider going down there again. Pretty gross. They still thinking about that still,
- 17:45I'm still my mind is I know the Venetians got something, but nothing
- 17:49has the temple back? What was it in Morehead? Yes, I went
- 17:52there one time and I think it was there for five minutes and I was
- 17:56out thirteen thirty two thirty second Street Circle. Whoever lives there now? You
- 18:02know telling a tax at the time, the Doyle cab. You know you
- 18:03had to have that numbering grained in your head because after a night of the
- 18:07ob you know, it just had to be burned in otherwise you were not
- 18:10going to get home like in a minute in the morning. On Big Nutty
- 18:15eight points seven. You want to spect a thing when you hear that telephone
- 18:21room by Friends like a number this lesson by s freend a sunny want a
- 18:30rest by Friends graduation season. How exciting for these kids just beginning the rest
- 18:36of their lives. Oh, totally. And so we actually had a high
- 18:38school senior reach out because she listens to the show and she wanted us to
- 18:41prank her mom, who's very excited, but also, you know, stressed
- 18:45about the whole graduation problem. I can imagine. So she wants to mess
- 18:49with her mom. It's crat. Yeah, here we go. Hello,
- 18:59Yeah, I good morning. Is this Amy? Yes, this is Amy.
- 19:03This is a Gary snake skin, And I'm the principal, the assistant
- 19:07principal to the principal at high school. And I have some band news about
- 19:11your doaughter. Do you have a second uh huh? Okay, yeah,
- 19:15So I know graduations coming up, and I'm sure she's getting very excited to
- 19:18graduate high school? Am I right? Oh she is? Yeah? Well,
- 19:22okay, well I got bad news. She's not going to be able
- 19:23to graduate. Actually, oh no, why not? What we found in
- 19:29her life? She had a bunch of live turkeys in our locker, and
- 19:32of course that's a good school policy. Wow, yeah, stuffed in there
- 19:36and uh they're still live. They're not doing well. But being that it
- 19:40is against policy, we're not going to be able to let her walk at
- 19:41graduation. Oh sure, yeah turkeys. You know what do you know about
- 19:45that? Stop? Because you're embarrassing yourself, Like, I know this is
- 19:51a prank and I know it's you. I listen to the show like it's
- 19:52pathetic, Like you need to stop. I don't even know what you're talking
- 19:56about. I just stop. I know it's you. Come on, I
- 20:02know it's you. Supposed to be a sports We're trying to have fun,
- 20:04I know, but I know it's you. And my daughter said she always
- 20:07wished that we could get a frank call from you. So I was like
- 20:11a meat turkeys. No way is she touching turkeys. Okay, you needed
- 20:17a better one than that. Thank you for listening. I guess that's cool.
- 20:19We love listening. We've listened for a long time. We love you
- 20:22guys. We just you know we're not going to fall for it. Maybe
- 20:26my voice wasn't disguised enough. Like I just really felt bad for everyone listening.
- 20:30I just had to put an end to it, really like it was
- 20:33really bad. Yeah, okay, if he's not a good one, if
- 20:36you lost your pike a mess. Oh yeah, so she is graduating,
- 20:41Okay, cool, great, definitely graduating. She's a good girl. Doesn't
- 20:45touch turkeys, and that girl is making us very proud. Well, good
- 20:49luck to your daughter, congratulations to her, and thank you Amanda in the
- 20:56morning on Big Well, I know Anualy Amanda, don't you always make a
- 21:02point to go down to Indianapolis for the Snacks in Sweets Convention? No,
- 21:07didn't know what exists, Pike, I apologize. What were you doing in
- 21:10Indianapolis last year? Ah? That five hundred? Oh you went for the
- 21:12race? That's right, Well, Amanda, then I guess, much to
- 21:15your surprise, every year, this is where all like these new and fun
- 21:19snacks that you hear about. You know, these people coming out with these
- 21:22crazy different flavors of things like new oreos, things like that. This is
- 21:26where they come out of. And so there's a couple interesting ones that came
- 21:29out of this year. You want to hear about them. Sometimes I feel
- 21:30like they are getting too creative where it's like that's a no for me.
- 21:34Well, there's so many like you don't even know are they kidding? You
- 21:37know, the ridiculous flavors. But how about this one? Popcorn ramen is
- 21:42one of the snacks like ramen noodles leading the way this year. So yeah,
- 21:47I heard that. I'm like, well, now is it popcorn flavored
- 21:48ramen or is it ramen flavored popcorn? It's got to be the second one
- 21:52which looks like and actually It looks like if you go on and you type
- 21:56in popcorn ramen, a lot of people are oh interesting. There's a couple
- 22:03options here. Are you ready for this? You can either add the seasoning
- 22:06to popcorn or add the crunched up ramen to your popcorn and add the seasoning
- 22:11to it. Well, the crunchy one. I don't think that sounds bad
- 22:15for my teeth. You don't get it. Sounds like daddy's gonna have a
- 22:18trip to the dentist. But what about adding popcorn to your ramen noodles?
- 22:23It as soon as popcorn gets wet, it becomes something else. But a
- 22:27lot of people added to beer gee soup and that kind of adds a little
- 22:30kick to it. You are right, I like like the ramen packet on
- 22:34the popcorn. That sounds good. That's not like I got some bars.
- 22:37They got the little shaker of seasoning or whatever. Really, it sounds like
- 22:41I wouldn't be able to take my wedding ring or move. I'd be on
- 22:44a swollen buffoon for a week. Are you kidding me? That kind of
- 22:48sodium? Yeah, I have to take my wedding In fact, I forgot
- 22:51to wear my wedding ring today because I take it off the night because I
- 22:55hate the feeling. It feels like, not metaphorically, but physically feels like
- 22:59I'm in a prison. Okay, next up, we're calling Lauren just his
- 23:07marriage feels like a prison something or another. No, I do you feel
- 23:10about that? I took it off, so then I forgot to put it
- 23:11and I feel the exact opposite. I'd rather have it be on real tight,
- 23:15otherwise I feel naked. I feel naked, don't get me wrong,
- 23:18all right, do I look naked? Sure? Do? Thank you.
- 23:22Also, some of the big snacks coming out, Jiffy getting into this.
- 23:26I'm sorry, Skippy, I'm confusing my peanut butter brands, Zippy Skippyiffy coming
- 23:32out with milk chocolate peanut butter Minis, which sounds actually delicious panut butter Eminem's,
- 23:37but they put an ass on them or obviously nobody's reinventing the wheel here.
- 23:41When we're talking about sweet candies. There's like only so many, I
- 23:45suppose, but yes, I like, I like a good peanut butter snack.
- 23:48Yeah, me too, Cereal too. Like anyway, the Reese's peanut
- 23:52butter puffs. Dear God, one of my favorites right now. My go
- 23:56to is a low carb tortilla, a little bit of creamy pa butter and
- 24:00hot honey. How do you get the honey hot? Yeah? Buy it
- 24:03that way. Bike they have hot honey. You buy the honey hot.
- 24:07Yeah, it's called hot honey. You're telling me. You go to the
- 24:11garage store and they heat. They've got that honey piping hot and it stays
- 24:15that way. No, I go to a bee hive and I get it
- 24:18right when they let that honey go. You just get it from the story.
- 24:23It's spicy, like hot spicy, not like warm it up hot honey.
- 24:27But no, you can see the confusion. I didn't go there.
- 24:33How do you get it so hot? It comes that way, you dummy.
- 24:36Yeah, it's the flavoring of it, and it is so good.
- 24:38Add that on salmon or anything. If you have not entered the hot honey,
- 24:42taken that for a journey on your foot. Oh my god, it
- 24:48is so good. Oh yeah, I put it on everything apples, apple
- 24:52nachos of peanut butter and hot honey apple nachos. That's two words never thought
- 24:57I would hear together. Oh good, sounds disgusting either that are we sliced
- 25:00bananas and put peanut butter on him? And then hot honey? Oh my
- 25:03gosh, strawberry cheese. Hot honey. Are you being paid by hot honey?
- 25:08No, but I would love to discuss it. If anybody wants me
- 25:11to hawk they're hot honey, I'm your girl. Now here's what you need
- 25:17to know. Well, this is gonna get interesting. No one expected that
- 25:21the two presidential candidates were going to actually have a debate, No one.
- 25:25I didn't rule it out. I mean, don't they usually everybody but Pike
- 25:30was thinking, probably not gonna happen. No, But yesterday early, I
- 25:33guess in the date, President Biden jumped on Twitter, or at least his
- 25:37campaign did and challenge Trump to two debates. And then he had a little
- 25:41shot at him because Trump is still doing his criminal like hush money trial or
- 25:45whatever, and I guess only on Wednesdays they're off. So he said,
- 25:48ah, maybe you could take a Wednesday, and that I heard you're free
- 25:52on Wednesday. Don't ruin the punchline. That's funny. Yeah, Joe just
- 25:56typing away on his phone. I'm sure, yeah, or his campaign but
- 26:00either way. A few hours later, Trump challenged, except accepted the challenge,
- 26:06and he said he would agree to four debates. That's four, so
- 26:08okay, Well, I'm no master negotiator. But Biden initially said two and
- 26:14then Trump up to it to four. So now I think what traditionally would
- 26:18happen, would they'd settle on three? Yep, not the case. Biden
- 26:22campaign said, Nope, We'll do two. They also said they want the
- 26:26debates to be on CNN and ABC. CNN debate has already set now for
- 26:29June twenty seventh, ABC September tenth. No audience will be allowed, and
- 26:33then he also said they wanted to make sure that each person's microphone is off
- 26:37when the other one is talking. Oh thank god, because that can be
- 26:40so miserable to one Sometimes that's actually the that's the entertainment. It's entertaining.
- 26:45But are you watching to be entertained or are you watching to be informed?
- 26:48That's the question. At this point, I think we know what we're after
- 26:52here, right? No? You? I mean, do you think there's
- 26:55anybody left on the planet with these two going? Gee? I don't know.
- 27:00I mean, of course there is, I don't know. I kind
- 27:00of feel like it's pretty cut and dry. There's a lot of people.
- 27:04That's why they do this, Otherwise they would just be a foregone conclusion.
- 27:07There's a lot of people in the middle. Trust me. I'm a I'm
- 27:11an independent voter. But again, I just kind of are you yea,
- 27:15which, since you're so decided, who are you voting for? Miss independent?
- 27:22Miss Kelly Clarkson Independent, I'm going independent? Yeah, r f K,
- 27:27are you uh no? Are you uh? Well? He would be
- 27:30the independent Candia, which, by the way, they did say he should
- 27:32not be there, that President Biden. That was also one of the rules
- 27:37that he could not be. I talked to a gentleman last week and who
- 27:38was going around getting signatures so that he could be RFK on the on the
- 27:44ballot, what are you a registered voter? As Okay, well this is
- 27:47very personal and you you called me out. I'm saying independent. I was
- 27:51a Republican Democrat now I'm in deependent. Volunteered that information. I'm not got
- 27:56a strong army for the last time. It was the guy that got in
- 27:59there. Now, So I always try to pick the winning vote. That's
- 28:06what we're doing in the pulling booth, right, You're just trying to pick
- 28:08the winner. I can have money on it or something. Oh gollie,
- 28:14gee, all right, you're missing a story, but we'll go to this
- 28:15one. Netflix landed Christmas Day NFL games. That's just wild. Oh Netflix
- 28:23having a football game. That's new. But they've done it on Christmas Day
- 28:26before. Yeah. No, for sure, they've done a lot of hot
- 28:29I spent I spent Christmas Day twenty twenty two in Miami, Florida watching the
- 28:33Packers play the Dolphins. Oh what a cool experience it was. It's the
- 28:37holiday. Can we Oh, you can do it, you can do it.
- 28:41Ah. Yeah, so that'll be interesting. Unless you're one of those
- 28:42people that end up at Grandma's house who doesn't have Netflix, you're gonna have
- 28:45to probably get it on your Netflix is pretty standard, pretty easy to whip
- 28:51that boy up on your phone. No, that's crazy. That's interesting.
- 28:53I don't where it's headed. Like, eventually, where would the you know,
- 28:56with all these streamers getting invade because Amazon Prime still landed the Thursday games,
- 29:00which I don't watch a lot of those. Well, they're always unless
- 29:04games, Yeah, unless there's a good one, which again, yeah,
- 29:07is that probably why because they aren't just like whoa they can't wait to watch
- 29:11this game. Unless it's your team. It's always like, you know,
- 29:14the Colts and the Tetroncos. Yeah, I mean those are good teams now,
- 29:18but historically right and it's always been a bit of a stinker. But
- 29:21hey, it's football, so I'll take what i can get. And westac
- 29:25or Small, their leadership team is headed to Vegas over the weekend. So
- 29:27look at some new stores. What are they going to bring to the FM
- 29:30area. They put a poll on their website or on their Facebook page.
- 29:34Rather and Trader Joe's, Ikea and H and M were kind of that the
- 29:38Hot ones Aikea would be good. It gets a bad rap because it's hard
- 29:42to put the stuff together and it take costs a lot of divorces. I
- 29:45take H and M and Trader Joe's over Ikea. No you don't like furniture
- 29:49at a reasonable price or what not? For me? Okay, H and
- 29:53M is a good store. I'll give you that, not a Trader Joe's.
- 29:56Man. Huh, Trader Joe's is good. I just have I've been
- 30:00in there a ton. Got it. My wife loves just constantly. She
- 30:03talks about it more than she goes. But she does love it, so
- 30:07don't you wonder if that's like the hype about it. It's like we want
- 30:10it so bad and then it shows up here and they're like, you guys
- 30:12said you wanted us. I'm like, ah no, I'm still going to
- 30:15all these much like Sonic or all these other stories. It's like I always
- 30:18tell her, I think you just like the idea of Trader Joe's more than
- 30:22you like Trader Joe's. I always wanted a Red Robin here when I moved
- 30:25here from Colorado because of their ranch. It was something about it. And
- 30:27then I'm like, but am I really gonna go to it? Am I
- 30:30really gonna do it? Right? All right? T Wolves tonight seven thirty.
- 30:34Don't forget it's game six, and that could be a rap. Otherwise
- 30:37they'll play on Sunday. Wolves in seven. We're back. They're gonna get
- 30:41an all new team and give it another dry tonight because the other one ain't
- 30:45working. Way to go, boys, all right, Sunny Today eventually in
- 30:48a highest seventy one, all right,
