- 0:13Speaker 1: This is artist on Artists.
- 0:15Speaker 2: On Artists on artists.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Do you know why they call it show business? I
- 0:19Speaker 1: always wondered that. And welcome back to another episode of
- 0:23Speaker 1: Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists, the Roundtable Discussion
- 0:26Speaker 1: podcast where Hollywood talk shop and you listen. Now we
- 0:31Speaker 1: have a very special treat for you today. We've assembled
- 0:33Speaker 1: an all star panel of the industry's most acclaimed dramatic actors.
- 0:38Speaker 1: That's right, We've assembled the best and the best, all
- 0:40Speaker 1: in one room to talk to each other about the craft,
- 0:43Speaker 1: their acting process, and of course whether or not to
- 0:46Speaker 1: go method. And as always, we've stuck a couple questions
- 0:48Speaker 1: of our own into the fish bowl on the table.
- 0:50Speaker 1: So look out for those. We are so excited for
- 0:53Speaker 1: you to hear their conversation. Let's meet those actors.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Now, Hey, what's up. I'm Jedediah Thompson. I recently was
- 1:05Speaker 2: just in a movie called Spoonet.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Hello, my name is Jared Heath. I have played the
- 1:14Speaker 1: upcoming superhero the Mixer.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Hey, y'all, I'm Lolin.
- 1:21Speaker 6: I play Sergeant mohlm in World War four, a recreation
- 1:26Speaker 6: of World War Two in the Eyes of the Future.
- 1:29Speaker 5: So excited to be here.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Hi, y'all, how's it going. My name is Cody Jeffrey
- 1:33Speaker 4: Reese and I am an actor. I am recently in
- 1:38Speaker 4: the execution of a Poor Bastard, which you guys can
- 1:41Speaker 4: check out on video and demand right now.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yes, well, why don't we start with a question from
- 1:48Speaker 1: the fishbowl. When you're preparing for a role, what is
- 1:53Speaker 1: the first step you take?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Well, that's a great question, you know, as you know
- 2:02Speaker 2: more of a dramatic actor. What I really like to
- 2:04Speaker 2: do is just kind of feast on the role. And
- 2:06Speaker 2: by that it's kind of like my methodology of like
- 2:08Speaker 2: you feast it in. You sit down and you eat
- 2:11Speaker 2: up the script as much as you can. I mean,
- 2:12Speaker 2: I'll sit there for hours and days without food and
- 2:16Speaker 2: just kind of like eating and eating and eating the words.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Right. No, No, that's very interesting, Jebediah, because I typically
- 2:24Speaker 1: to the exact opposite, you know, the Mixer, he's messed
- 2:28Speaker 1: up he's messed up in the head, and so often
- 2:32Speaker 1: when I receive the script, I will eat nothing but
- 2:36Speaker 1: raw meat and egg for weeks on end. It locked
- 2:40Speaker 1: myself in a dark room, into a closet and get
- 2:42Speaker 1: really messed up, get so messed up in the head.
- 2:46Speaker 7: That's great.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I'm kind of the opposite. You know,
- 2:50Speaker 4: I personally believe that, you know, method acting for me
- 2:53Speaker 4: takes me farther away from the character. If I get
- 2:55Speaker 4: so into my head, I don't get into the body.
- 2:58Speaker 4: So for me, I actually don't meet my character until
- 3:00Speaker 4: I'm on screen.
- 3:01Speaker 7: You know, I don't know.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I kind of hear rumors about him, kind of, I
- 3:06Speaker 4: tell I, let people tell me about him, and I
- 3:07Speaker 4: see kind of what he wears, but I really don't
- 3:11Speaker 4: think about it until it starts rolling.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So you're not necessarily memorizing until you show up or
- 3:16Speaker 2: what do you.
- 3:18Speaker 7: No, I'm not memorizing.
- 3:19Speaker 4: And the cool thing about execution of a poor bastard,
- 3:22Speaker 4: Execution of a poor bastard. Sorry, when we were in execution,
- 3:25Speaker 4: it was really interesting because a lot of those lines,
- 3:29Speaker 4: you know, I would go for it and people would
- 3:32Speaker 4: stop and they would say that was in it.
- 3:35Speaker 7: You know that you didn't get any of the words,
- 3:37Speaker 7: so I say, okay.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It sounds like you were sort of guessing every time
- 3:41Speaker 1: you had a lie.
- 3:42Speaker 4: You can say that, but I call it channeling because
- 3:45Speaker 4: the whole thing about it is you can tell me
- 3:46Speaker 4: what I did wrong, and let's hope some of it
- 3:48Speaker 4: gets in there. But I'm connected to the collective unconscious
- 3:51Speaker 4: and we'll see if we can go and I think
- 3:53Speaker 4: most of the time we did, and I would I'd
- 3:55Speaker 4: like to praise our editors. You know, every editor I've
- 3:57Speaker 4: worked with has been incredible the way they kind of
- 4:00Speaker 4: shape my performance. I give it up to the editors.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I did notice that in some of your films, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: especially in Execution of a Poor Bastard, where they would
- 4:11Speaker 1: cut back and forth almost on every word to a
- 4:14Speaker 1: reaction shot of the other person so that they could
- 4:17Speaker 1: sort of piece together a sentence you were saying.
- 4:20Speaker 8: Now.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I found that very impressive.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Yeah, it was pretty amazing.
- 4:24Speaker 4: And I got to give it up to my actress
- 4:27Speaker 4: scene partner who's in most of those scenes. You know,
- 4:32Speaker 4: Jessica Winfer is so talented and amazing what she does
- 4:36Speaker 4: and her face. I mean, you could just watch a
- 4:38Speaker 4: whole movie of her face. And that's kind of what
- 4:40Speaker 4: that movie turned out to be.
- 4:41Speaker 7: In the middle way.
- 4:42Speaker 5: I worked with Jessica. I worked with Jessica once.
- 4:45Speaker 7: Oh you know Jessica.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Yes, I worked with her.
- 4:46Speaker 6: On the reimagining of Pride and Prejudice a couple of
- 4:49Speaker 6: years ago.
- 4:50Speaker 7: Oh she's so great, isn't she great?
- 4:52Speaker 6: She's good's she's It's like I love an actor that
- 4:56Speaker 6: just is processed thick.
- 4:58Speaker 7: You know, she's process thick.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I mean, she's absolutely very sick, process thick.
- 5:04Speaker 7: She's got the thickest process I've ever worked with. I'll
- 5:06Speaker 7: tell you that.
- 5:06Speaker 6: And I have a thick process, but that that woman
- 5:09Speaker 6: has a thick process.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Well, Aline, can we jump in? Can we jump into
- 5:13Speaker 2: your process? I've been you know, this is actually the
- 5:15Speaker 2: process I've been itching because I've heard so many things
- 5:17Speaker 2: about it. You know, you read the tabloids. You're not
- 5:18Speaker 2: sure what's true.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Oh, thank you so much.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I'll say.
- 5:24Speaker 5: I start out by traveling.
- 5:26Speaker 6: I always travel for my projects. And when I say
- 5:30Speaker 6: I travel, I don't really go someplace where the movie
- 5:33Speaker 6: is set. I really just I travel. I get out.
- 5:38Speaker 6: I am different than you, Cody. I am method and
- 5:43Speaker 6: I get into the role, and then I bord a plane,
- 5:47Speaker 6: and then I see where is this person going?
- 5:50Speaker 5: And how do I react to the world around me?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Well, oftentimes, well, if the tabloids are correct, you don't
- 5:57Speaker 1: fully make it on the plane because you are escorted
- 6:01Speaker 1: off for bad behavior. And I was wondering if that
- 6:05Speaker 1: was a part of the process as well.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Sure, sure, Well, the process is getting to the airport
- 6:12Speaker 6: like a hospital, like a fetus and starting birth. And
- 6:17Speaker 6: then if that is boarding a plane, it's one thing.
- 6:21Speaker 6: If it's sneaking onto a plane without a ticket, that's
- 6:24Speaker 6: another thing. I mean, I play different roles. I think
- 6:26Speaker 6: we have a table here of a bunch of people
- 6:28Speaker 6: who've played different roles. I've played robbers, I've played heroes.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I've played villains. And a villain doesn't board a plane
- 6:38Speaker 6: the way a hero boards a plane, you know. So
- 6:41Speaker 6: if I have to get bad press for it, I
- 6:43Speaker 6: don't think that's Lollin's bad press. I think that's the
- 6:46Speaker 6: movie the character's bad press.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So I guess the tabloids are in that sense.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Sure, but I'm not Lollan like I at Lollin.
- 6:55Speaker 6: If you I'm very different than my roles, I'm a
- 6:58Speaker 6: very simple man in a simple cottage. But once I
- 7:02Speaker 6: get to the roles, I will break the law if
- 7:04Speaker 6: it's that role, you.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Know what I mean.
- 7:06Speaker 2: So actually, yeah, that's what I was wondering, because I
- 7:08Speaker 2: know one of your most legendary roles is the plane hijacker,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and the tabloids that came out of this role were insane.
- 7:16Speaker 2: You kept on trying to board a plane and hijacket
- 7:19Speaker 2: within the first two minutes.
- 7:21Speaker 6: I'm not going to get in there play plane hijacker
- 7:23Speaker 6: and never hijack a plane before.
- 7:24Speaker 5: I'm sorry. It's just it's just how I am.
- 7:26Speaker 6: And that's why I never take rolls right that that
- 7:30Speaker 6: that our fathers because I don't have a kid.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I won't do it.
- 7:32Speaker 5: I won't do it.
- 7:33Speaker 6: I believe in honesty acting, and I'm going to hijack
- 7:37Speaker 6: that plane if it's in the script. And that's what
- 7:39Speaker 6: was so interesting about World War four because I couldn't
- 7:41Speaker 6: physically get back to World War two for or creation
- 7:44Speaker 6: of World War four, so I had to I had
- 7:48Speaker 6: to get creative.
- 7:49Speaker 2: What did you do?
- 7:50Speaker 1: So did you kill? I?
- 7:53Speaker 2: I got.
- 7:54Speaker 6: I bought a gun range in Montana. I bought a
- 7:59Speaker 6: whole gun range and I just got a couple.
- 8:03Speaker 5: I went on to Actors Access.
- 8:05Speaker 6: I heard that you can do non union work, and
- 8:07Speaker 6: I got a bunch of people to agree to a
- 8:10Speaker 6: World War to re enactment.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And so were.
- 8:15Speaker 1: These loaded guns with these real? Were these practical? As
- 8:18Speaker 1: they say?
- 8:20Speaker 6: Legally, I'm not allowed to say right now, I'm in
- 8:23Speaker 6: the middle of a bit of a bit of a
- 8:27Speaker 6: criminal law case.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I was wondering about that because I heard about all
- 8:32Speaker 1: of your your elder fraud, your telemarketing, elder fraud, and
- 8:36Speaker 1: I didn't see any movies that sort of correlated to that.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So was that your own thing or was is there
- 8:42Speaker 1: something coming out well?
- 8:44Speaker 5: As act as? We have hobbies, correct, and your.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Hobby, Yes, is scamming older people?
- 8:51Speaker 6: No, no, no, and yes it's it's that.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It's that so yes, yes it's no.
- 9:01Speaker 3: No, not for fun, no, no.
- 9:04Speaker 6: But a little And yes it's that. I don't like
- 9:08Speaker 6: the scam part. I like talking to the older people.
- 9:12Speaker 6: This is when I'm rolled between roll and I'm actually
- 9:14Speaker 6: interested in everyone here, Like what you do in between
- 9:16Speaker 6: rolls to just wind down?
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean I love wrestling. You know, I
- 9:23Speaker 4: got a big I got a big farm and I
- 9:26Speaker 4: like to have my family over.
- 9:28Speaker 7: I got a big old family I got. I got eight.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Brothers, I got three sisters, and actually got you know,
- 9:35Speaker 4: a mom, a step dad, a step mom, and a dad.
- 9:40Speaker 1: So you were raised on a farm.
- 9:42Speaker 7: I was raised on a farm. Yeah, I was raised
- 9:44Speaker 7: on a farm out in Nebraska.
- 9:46Speaker 1: How did you get from that to Hollywood? Where you scouted?
- 9:50Speaker 1: Did someone find you?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Well?
- 9:53Speaker 4: I was actually in the background of a movie. You
- 9:55Speaker 4: might have heard of it when I was a kid.
- 9:56Speaker 4: I was in a movie called Field of Dreams and
- 10:00Speaker 4: oh way popular movie.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Yeah, And I was kind of this kid.
- 10:05Speaker 4: You know, if you look in one of the scenes,
- 10:07Speaker 4: you know, all the bad baseball players are coming in
- 10:09Speaker 4: and out of the field. If you look in one
- 10:11Speaker 4: of the scenes, there's a little kid with some dip
- 10:13Speaker 4: in his mouth, hiding in the corn stalks. And I
- 10:15Speaker 4: was just playing hide and seek on the other side
- 10:17Speaker 4: of the farm. And all of a sudden, I've been
- 10:19Speaker 4: told that I'm in a movie. And Kevin Costner comes over.
- 10:21Speaker 4: He says, hey, kid, who are you? And I said, hey,
- 10:23Speaker 4: you know, my name is Cody Jeffrey Reese. And he said,
- 10:26Speaker 4: that's nice to meet you. I like to be your mentor.
- 10:29Speaker 4: And I was like, I, sir, I'm playing hide and seek,
- 10:31Speaker 4: and the more you talk to me, the more I'm visible.
- 10:33Speaker 4: You know, I didn't know. I didn't know who I
- 10:36Speaker 4: was talking to. I didn't know. I had no clue.
- 10:41Speaker 4: I didn't know. So then all of a sudden, you know,
- 10:45Speaker 4: he has my home phone. He starts calling me all
- 10:47Speaker 4: the time, telling me to come out to La. My
- 10:49Speaker 4: parents were a little confused. They're a little freaked out.
- 10:52Speaker 4: They said, Kevin Cassler is being a little aggressive with
- 10:54Speaker 4: our child.
- 10:54Speaker 7: And he just really believed in me.
- 10:56Speaker 4: And I went out there, stayed with him for some
- 11:00Speaker 4: and he treated me like a son. He treated me
- 11:02Speaker 4: like a son. Is really kind, and he kind of
- 11:04Speaker 4: opened a lot of doors for me.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Did you ever get back to your family or did
- 11:09Speaker 1: you sort of kids?
- 11:10Speaker 7: I did not.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Summer turned into fifteen years and then now I was
- 11:13Speaker 4: thirty years old. It was a really kind of a whirlwind.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Isn't that how it all starts?
- 11:18Speaker 4: You know, It's interesting, it's interesting, you know, and looking back,
- 11:21Speaker 4: I wouldn't change a thing.
- 11:23Speaker 7: I wouldn't change a thing because I'm happy where I am.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Of course, not dead bodies and all I wouldn't change
- 11:28Speaker 6: a thing either.
- 11:28Speaker 7: No, would anyone hear change a thing?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Absolutely not, absolutely not. You start getting these mentorships by
- 11:36Speaker 1: it's a simple landline phone call, you know. And mine
- 11:40Speaker 1: just so happened to be with a snake, and I
- 11:44Speaker 1: went into the snake cave. You know what I learned
- 11:47Speaker 1: from him? And I learned how to slither around, how
- 11:50Speaker 1: to poison metaphorically. Of course for him it was quite literal.
- 11:54Speaker 4: He was biting, probably re rement itself to when you
- 11:57Speaker 4: were in that biopic about the Snake from Adam and.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Eve, and what a phenomenal movie, a tour de force
- 12:05Speaker 2: to paust A, Norse.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It was incredible.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Because you know, everyone always focuses on Adam and Eve,
- 12:11Speaker 1: they're the superheroes, but nobody ever thinks about the snake,
- 12:16Speaker 1: the anti hero. I think I see things just a
- 12:19Speaker 1: little differently than everyone else. I'm a little a little screwy.
- 12:24Speaker 6: Speaking of screwy, do you guys ever sleep with anybody
- 12:28Speaker 6: on set?
- 12:30Speaker 2: Oh?
- 12:32Speaker 7: We talk about that.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Oh the table of worldcus actors. I have to ask.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Before we move on to that, just really quick. I
- 12:38Speaker 2: would change I would change the things about my past.
- 12:41Speaker 2: My my family died, a hit and run accident when
- 12:44Speaker 2: we were going to one of my acting classes. So
- 12:46Speaker 2: I'm hear that push me. That's why I have But
- 12:49Speaker 2: let's talk about who he's sleeping with. That's really fun. Actually,
- 12:52Speaker 2: I really hear this.
- 12:53Speaker 5: I take it.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Let's go back before let's do it. I love it.
- 12:56Speaker 1: No, we can do Jepndiah. We should dive into that.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I know, I just wanted to. That sounds very true,
- 13:02Speaker 2: like everybody was having an opinion on it. I just
- 13:04Speaker 2: want to add my two cents, you know, the other side,
- 13:05Speaker 2: the other side.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I mean, if you want to talk about it, that
- 13:07Speaker 4: sounds like it would really influence your career, you know,
- 13:10Speaker 4: on your way to the acting class.
- 13:11Speaker 7: Yeah, it did.
- 13:12Speaker 4: I mean you're going to do what you love and
- 13:14Speaker 4: then you know it kind of killed your family. So
- 13:16Speaker 4: is that that's not something you want to talk about.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I'm not. I'm not super done with processing it.
- 13:22Speaker 7: All right, all right, but if it.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Sounds correct, if it sounds what I'm hearing from this
- 13:28Speaker 1: is that there's a part of you that's a little
- 13:31Speaker 1: sick who kind of liked it.
- 13:34Speaker 7: Jared, Jared, Hey, I think we got to let him,
- 13:36Speaker 7: you know.
- 13:36Speaker 2: No, no, no, let's talk about it. Let's talk at sick.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Isn't that kind of the darkness?
- 13:42Speaker 7: Hey?
- 13:43Speaker 4: You know you freaking method actors obsessed with the darkness.
- 13:46Speaker 4: It's hard for me to be around. Like, let's chill
- 13:48Speaker 4: a little bit with him. That doesn't sound okay.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Do you think you would be an actor today if
- 13:52Speaker 6: your family didn't die on the way to the acting studio?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Well, I think, you know, out of a lot of
- 13:58Speaker 2: the loneliness, disparity, and and sadness, I had to kind of,
- 14:03Speaker 2: you know, hide that pain and fill it with something,
- 14:06Speaker 2: and I filled it with sitcom acting glasses at Leslie Kahn.
- 14:11Speaker 7: Oh good good. Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 6: Yeah, but to get you her studio, it's a windy road.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it definitely is.
- 14:18Speaker 6: So I understand I stopped going there because I was like,
- 14:21Speaker 6: it's just too dangerous to get up there.
- 14:24Speaker 2: No, yeah, it definitely, it definitely is.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And Larlin, you have a history of hit and runs yourself,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I mean all playing all those characters in that in
- 14:34Speaker 1: the Hit and Run trilogy, I.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Mean trilogy insane. What a crazy movie concept too. And
- 14:42Speaker 2: I watched that literally weeks after my family died in
- 14:45Speaker 2: that hit and run accident.
- 14:46Speaker 5: I hope it brought you some closure.
- 14:47Speaker 2: It did not. It did not at all. The hit
- 14:50Speaker 2: and run person gets away and wins. Well.
- 14:52Speaker 6: I remember when they brought my when my agent brought
- 14:54Speaker 6: me the script, he said, there's no way you're doing this.
- 14:57Speaker 5: There's no there's no arc.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You hit the car and you leave, You hit the people,
- 15:03Speaker 3: and you're gone.
- 15:05Speaker 2: And it's crazy to me that they made a trilogy
- 15:06Speaker 2: out of it. It was kind of like the Hangover series
- 15:08Speaker 2: where it's just the same first movie but in a
- 15:10Speaker 2: foreign location every time.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I personally thought Hitting Run Japan was quite interesting. I mean,
- 15:16Speaker 1: it was shot for shot the same movie, but all
- 15:19Speaker 1: of a sudden, we're in Tokyo, and I think that's
- 15:21Speaker 1: quite cool.
- 15:22Speaker 4: I was a huge fan of Hit and Run Borneo
- 15:25Speaker 4: because there's only like one car, and it was so
- 15:28Speaker 4: interesting because it kind of turned on its head where
- 15:30Speaker 4: you knew you needed to hit this car, but you
- 15:33Speaker 4: couldn't find it, and so it was this jungle search
- 15:36Speaker 4: where you needed to find this one car that the
- 15:39Speaker 4: president drives. The stakes were higher. I thought it was interesting.
- 15:43Speaker 4: I watched it with my kids and.
- 15:45Speaker 7: My family, my aunt, my aunt Nan. My aunt Nan
- 15:48Speaker 7: loved it.
- 15:48Speaker 4: She got a T shirt she and I remember, I
- 15:51Speaker 4: think I text you, I said, hey, I text you
- 15:54Speaker 4: voted my aunt Nan holding the T shirt got over
- 15:56Speaker 4: her chest.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Yes, the famous where'd he go?
- 16:01Speaker 2: T shirt? He go Yeah, Yeah, I watched that movie alone. Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 2: everybody slept with oh sleeping.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I think it's a responsibility of the above the line
- 16:17Speaker 4: members of any production, you know, actors, writers, directors, producers.
- 16:21Speaker 4: I think it's a responsibility for them to have sex
- 16:23Speaker 4: with at least one below the line person for equality.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It's quite charitable. I think it's they.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Put so much work in, and they work so hard. Gaffers,
- 16:36Speaker 4: best boys, folly artists, key grips, you know, even just
- 16:40Speaker 4: the regular grips, not even the keys, not even the
- 16:42Speaker 4: best boys, the normal boys. I mean, I'm I'm having
- 16:45Speaker 4: sex with anybody who is interested because they put so
- 16:49Speaker 4: much work.
- 16:49Speaker 2: All we all agree with that, right, we're all on
- 16:51Speaker 2: board with that.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I admired that very much. I slept with a woman
- 16:57Speaker 1: named Cassidy James.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And I continue.
- 17:02Speaker 1: She was on the first set I ever worked on,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and every set heads forth, I call her back, I say, Cassidy,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm working on a movie. And then she comes over
- 17:13Speaker 1: and she sleeps with me. Okay, anyway, I'm kind of
- 17:18Speaker 1: a dog. I'm a little mess.
- 17:20Speaker 5: You are a dog.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Who else? What's everybody's little black book full.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Of Well, you know, I find it really interesting for myself.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Something and I've never really spoken this puts this into words,
- 17:33Speaker 2: but something about the deep devastation I carry really attracts
- 17:36Speaker 2: a lot of people. So there's something about once the
- 17:40Speaker 2: camera starts rolling and I start going, I don't want
- 17:43Speaker 2: this to sound cocky or conceited, but everybody just wants
- 17:47Speaker 2: to start fucking me. Director, crew, you know, even producers,
- 17:52Speaker 2: even editors, when they're editing it. I'll get weird calls
- 17:54Speaker 2: in the night going like, hey you up love this
- 17:56Speaker 2: new cut? Got something to show you and it's dick pic.
- 18:00Speaker 1: That's very interesting, Jebediah, When your real life wife died
- 18:04Speaker 1: in that fireball accident, did that do anything for your
- 18:07Speaker 1: love life?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Well? She was pregnant, right, she was pregnant. And what
- 18:12Speaker 2: happened was she was she was and I caught her
- 18:15Speaker 2: drinking fireball whiskey and I said this is a bad idea,
- 18:18Speaker 2: And she said, you think this is a bad idea,
- 18:20Speaker 2: watch this dumps fireball all over herself lights herself on fire.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Did you think to stop her at any point? Did
- 18:28Speaker 4: you think to grab the bottle out of her hand?
- 18:30Speaker 7: Or you know there's matches.
- 18:32Speaker 2: You know, some people freeze up in moments. There's a
- 18:36Speaker 2: moment when trauma comes back and you realize you're powerless
- 18:41Speaker 2: in a situation and you're just a little boy sitting
- 18:44Speaker 2: in front of Leslie Kah Studios wondering where your family is.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So you did not, Yeah, I tried mentally to overcome it,
- 18:53Speaker 2: but it was just watching somebody screaming for you know,
- 18:59Speaker 2: forty five to to an hour.
- 19:01Speaker 4: She was alive and on fire for forty five minutes
- 19:03Speaker 4: to an hour.
- 19:04Speaker 7: He didn't stop her.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Whiskey does not burn hot, and it doesn't it burns long,
- 19:09Speaker 2: So you know, after that, that was crazy to have
- 19:11Speaker 2: people kind of wanting to have sex with me. I've
- 19:16Speaker 2: got a question from the fish bowl if anybody else
- 19:19Speaker 2: before we move on, does anybody else want to talk
- 19:21Speaker 2: about who they're fucking?
- 19:24Speaker 3: I fucked Scajoe Great once a.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Year, Scardro Robinson, the baseball player scar wrong once.
- 19:33Speaker 6: A year cool a nasty pitch scat.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Has yeah, wow, nasty pitch and talk about talk about
- 19:40Speaker 1: bad person he is in jail for, you know, pushing
- 19:44Speaker 1: that family off a bridge, and I I know you
- 19:49Speaker 1: seem to be attracted to that as a criminal, wanted
- 19:52Speaker 1: criminal yourself.
- 19:54Speaker 6: Nah, it's my character's not law, then, Jared, you're just
- 19:58Speaker 6: spreading a lot, are you all right?
- 20:00Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 20:01Speaker 1: No, I'm just look I I sweat when I'm I'm
- 20:05Speaker 1: feeling in character, and I'm feeling a little bit of
- 20:07Speaker 1: the mixer come out hearing about how fucked up you
- 20:10Speaker 1: all are.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Oh god, oh great, So your character's coming out in
- 20:14Speaker 4: the middle.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Of his I can't be talking to Jared anymore. You're
- 20:18Speaker 1: talking to the mixer. He's so screwy.
- 20:23Speaker 6: I got a question for the mixer and everyone. Yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 6: what's the most fucked up thing you've ever done on set?
- 20:31Speaker 7: Let's hear from the mixer first.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Well, then the mixer. The mixer isn't on set. The
- 20:37Speaker 1: mixer is just living his real life. If that makes
- 20:40Speaker 1: any Jared is on set, I can tell you something
- 20:43Speaker 1: fucked up. Jared is done. You'll put ketchup packets on
- 20:46Speaker 1: the toilet, so when all the crew people sit down,
- 20:49Speaker 1: catch up explodes. But in terms of the mixer, the
- 20:54Speaker 1: mixer's messed up. He'll go into scenes, he'll, he'll, he'll, he'll,
- 20:59Speaker 1: he'll install the knobs on the lights so that they
- 21:02Speaker 1: fall down and it is chaos. He would go into girls'
- 21:06Speaker 1: rooms and deal their underwear.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Character.
- 21:11Speaker 2: This is the mixert.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Now, this is an exciting It's actually a really exciting
- 21:16Speaker 4: opportunity because I've been wanting to talk to somebody who's
- 21:18Speaker 4: in character, because, as I'll know, I'm pretty anti method.
- 21:21Speaker 7: So let's talk about it. The mixture.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Let's chat the mixer.
- 21:26Speaker 7: What's your favorite candy?
- 21:29Speaker 1: My favorite candy is salt.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Okay, the mixer. Where do you want to go on vacation?
- 21:36Speaker 1: My vacation?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Hell?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Hell, below the earth? Hell?
- 21:41Speaker 7: Okay, okay, Hey, the mixer. What was your mom and
- 21:44Speaker 7: dad like?
- 21:45Speaker 1: Dude, Hey, pick a card, any card?
- 21:51Speaker 4: Okay, I'll pick this card. Oh, it's the aid of Spades.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Wrong knife ow fuck mixer that you've just been mixed.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I want to help.
- 22:07Speaker 7: I need a band aid.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I want to.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Help, stay back, stay back and let the blood pour
- 22:14Speaker 1: from his little hands.
- 22:16Speaker 7: I got a fucking band aid. I'm fine.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Don't fucking stab me again, Jared, Okay, I guess I
- 22:22Speaker 4: egged you on.
- 22:23Speaker 7: Yeah, welcome back.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm come back. I'm back on back. Now, what are
- 22:27Speaker 1: you talking about with the stabbing?
- 22:29Speaker 7: Don't do that, ship, Don't do that.
- 22:31Speaker 1: When I'm in character, I don't remember anything. It's like
- 22:35Speaker 1: a blackout.
- 22:37Speaker 7: Don't do that ship.
- 22:38Speaker 6: That is why I love acting so much.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Look at that moment that just happened.
- 22:43Speaker 2: You know. Funny story, I actually did watch one of
- 22:46Speaker 2: my cousins get mauled to death by a pack of wolves.
- 22:49Speaker 7: Of course you did. I'm sorry to hear that though.
- 22:52Speaker 3: That really sorry you did that Broadway play Wolf Mole.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Right after that, I was cast in a Broadway
- 23:00Speaker 2: play completely coincidentally called Wolf Mall.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I was always wondering if Wolf Mall was a metaphor
- 23:07Speaker 1: for being mauled by a wolf.
- 23:10Speaker 2: But it wasn't. It wasn't. It was literally a play
- 23:13Speaker 2: about being malled to death by a wolf. Well, here's
- 23:17Speaker 2: a question from the fish bowl that I thought was
- 23:20Speaker 2: really interesting. You know, we all come from such big
- 23:25Speaker 2: places in our life now, but what is the essential
- 23:29Speaker 2: purpose of our art? What is the essential purpose of
- 23:33Speaker 2: being a dramatic actor and what does it offer to
- 23:37Speaker 2: the world. I thought this was really interesting, and I
- 23:38Speaker 2: wanted to get everybody's opinion on this.
- 23:43Speaker 6: I think it's to connect and that's what I aimed
- 23:48Speaker 6: to do in World War Four, where it's like you just.
- 23:52Speaker 8: There's so much discourse about World War Two, and it's
- 23:59Speaker 8: bringing together the missing pieces and the parts using stories
- 24:05Speaker 8: and using.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Words just a quick I don't know if there's much
- 24:10Speaker 2: you know, debate or discourse about World War Two. There's
- 24:13Speaker 2: more just you know, understanding the history of it. I
- 24:16Speaker 2: don't know if there's much disagreement in World War Two.
- 24:20Speaker 1: At the time, right everyone was talking about world War two,
- 24:25Speaker 1: wild world War two was happening. I think you're very
- 24:28Speaker 1: right about that.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Talking about it, and it's bringing those conversations back up
- 24:32Speaker 6: and healing it.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Can I ask why your movie is called World War
- 24:36Speaker 4: Four if it's just about World War Two.
- 24:38Speaker 6: It's reimagining World War Two in a futuristic new context.
- 24:45Speaker 6: So it's like you learning things about the past and
- 24:48Speaker 6: you're not even it's not a retelling, it is a reconstruction.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I did notice the movie was very accurate to World
- 24:56Speaker 1: War Two, very much felt like World War Two, except
- 24:59Speaker 1: everything was in and I thought that said a lot
- 25:01Speaker 1: about society.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Yes, and it gets you to break down your barriers
- 25:05Speaker 6: of what the past was, and it gets you to
- 25:08Speaker 6: go where where is my understanding of what happened and
- 25:11Speaker 6: what will happen?
- 25:12Speaker 3: And where are we?
- 25:14Speaker 1: Seeing Hitler in Robot for really made me realize, you know,
- 25:20Speaker 1: maybe this guy is not such a good guy. And
- 25:22Speaker 1: I thought that this movie was very.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Educational for me. That was this was the movie that
- 25:27Speaker 2: made you realize that there was not a good guy.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Well, I just never really thought about it before, and
- 25:32Speaker 1: this movie said, hey, wake up, wake up, Jared. This
- 25:36Speaker 1: is who Hitler was. And I'm shocked. I'm shocked we
- 25:40Speaker 1: are talking about it, Bore.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Yes, I don't know what our service is, man, I
- 25:45Speaker 4: don't know what we're doing here.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Cody.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You're having an excess to crisis.
- 25:49Speaker 7: I know I'm not.
- 25:50Speaker 4: I'm having a crisis where I don't see all as
- 25:52Speaker 4: people who are contributing as much as I'm contributing. That's
- 25:55Speaker 4: the truth of it. What do you get You're farce
- 25:59Speaker 4: in the darkness. You're manipulating the pain. You're trying to
- 26:02Speaker 4: make people feel bad, and you're trying to make yourself
- 26:04Speaker 4: feel bad about things that ain't so bad.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Okay, y'all don't anoring the darkness. You're ignoring.
- 26:10Speaker 7: I know the darkness.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I'm Cody. I'm the happy, floppy hair boy in the
- 26:14Speaker 1: Baseball movie.
- 26:16Speaker 5: I ain't that.
- 26:17Speaker 7: No, that ain't me at all.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I chipped my tooth on a crawdad last week. I
- 26:21Speaker 4: and I went to the dentist and I took care
- 26:23Speaker 4: of it. I didn't turn it into some fucking character
- 26:25Speaker 4: where I was fucking you know, I'm I'm upset my
- 26:29Speaker 4: tooth is shipped by a crowddad.
- 26:31Speaker 7: That ain't me.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Okay, No, maybe you're right. Well, I thought pain into Well,
- 26:37Speaker 2: you're a little different, and I apologize. My family dying
- 26:41Speaker 2: is basically like chipping my tooth. I finally get saying.
- 26:46Speaker 4: I'm just saying, y'all, we're making movies, we're making art, Okay,
- 26:49Speaker 4: we're escaping, and I think sometimes y'all are trying to
- 26:53Speaker 4: feel the pain in order to justify this cushy job
- 26:57Speaker 4: we got because we live a good life. Y'all know
- 26:59Speaker 4: that all three of y'all have seven assistants next to
- 27:03Speaker 4: you right now. None of them have said a single word.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Y'all got huge teams, okay, and I just got me.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Well, I think we could all agree. We pay our
- 27:12Speaker 1: assistants not to talk. Why would they be.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Just enough not to talk? Okay, just enough not to talk.
- 27:20Speaker 1: They get wonderful benefits. Wonderful benefits. By the way, Tebidiah,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I'm so sorry to hear that your assistant exploded the
- 27:27Speaker 1: other day. That must have been hard to watch.
- 27:29Speaker 2: God, it was. It was really tough to watch. Actually,
- 27:33Speaker 2: she We're trying to build a train track right near
- 27:36Speaker 2: my house, and we're clearing out this old cave. And
- 27:40Speaker 2: you know, one wrong stick of dynamite can send somebody
- 27:44Speaker 2: all over the place, and that's exactly what happens. So
- 27:46Speaker 2: I just wanted to give a big shout out to
- 27:48Speaker 2: h Jenniff Francis's family. We mourn with you.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Why you got your assistants building to train man, What
- 27:57Speaker 4: do you have your assistance doing?
- 28:01Speaker 2: What do you have your assistance doing?
- 28:03Speaker 7: I ain't got no assistance. I got really good friends
- 28:06Speaker 7: who helped me out for free.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Okay, that sounds illegal, that sounds very illegal.
- 28:14Speaker 7: No, I got friends who do me favors.
- 28:17Speaker 9: Okay, Cody, you get you sleep with people in trucks.
- 28:21Speaker 9: I just am I'm sick of this high horse talking
- 28:25Speaker 9: down to faux paw mopaw. We all have our own processes,
- 28:31Speaker 9: and we're all different, and it's all thick, and it's
- 28:33Speaker 9: all different, all right.
- 28:37Speaker 4: If I'll respect y'all's thick processes, if you respect mine, Okay, Cody,
- 28:41Speaker 4: I think it's.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Time you start paying your assistance. Once you start paying
- 28:44Speaker 1: your assistance, they can actually do things for you, like
- 28:48Speaker 1: I don't know, taking a bunch of.
- 28:49Speaker 10: Rad chickens, sharp being things that I fucked up on it,
- 28:54Speaker 10: sharp being you worn'ts like piss and shit just writing
- 28:58Speaker 10: it on the chicken.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Slimy uncooked chicken, right.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Slimy uncooked chicken, sometimes in the packaging, sometimes without.
- 29:06Speaker 2: So you eat, you eat the chicken that you write on.
- 29:10Speaker 2: It's not I thought maybe you were taking out other
- 29:12Speaker 2: people's chicken and doing it to scare them, But it's
- 29:14Speaker 2: more just to scare yourself.
- 29:16Speaker 1: It's to scare myself. And when you write swear words
- 29:19Speaker 1: on chicken and you eat them, you absorb all the
- 29:23Speaker 1: pestilens and the slime and the and the dark corners
- 29:26Speaker 1: of humanity. You absorbed a pis and shit that you
- 29:31Speaker 1: that you write on the chicken.
- 29:33Speaker 7: I got a question for y'all. Do y'all like rehearsing.
- 29:37Speaker 2: No, hate it, absolutely hate it.
- 29:42Speaker 11: I would say, no, I haven't done it in so
- 29:46Speaker 11: many years. Where's the last time somebody showed up to
- 29:51Speaker 11: a rehearsal that they were scheduled for?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Oh?
- 29:54Speaker 7: Never, I ain't never pose.
- 29:56Speaker 9: I'm too busy fucking Scar Joe Roe, Joe Road, the
- 30:00Speaker 9: baseball player.
- 30:01Speaker 1: That must be very He's on the Houston Astros, on
- 30:05Speaker 1: the road all the time.
- 30:06Speaker 4: He's in right now too, which is difficult.
- 30:10Speaker 8: What do you do?
- 30:11Speaker 1: How does he balance his time between fucking you, being
- 30:14Speaker 1: on the Houston Astros and serving fifteen years to life.
- 30:18Speaker 3: And that's why we pay on my assistance because of that.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Break him out of jail.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yes, it's got.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Him in his baseball suit. Shoop him off to Texas.
- 30:30Speaker 3: It's better than shopping Broad Chicken.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You don't know what that does to my character. Anyway,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I haven't been to rehearsal. And everybody knows that they
- 30:40Speaker 1: show up. They spend the money, thousands and thousands of
- 30:43Speaker 1: dollars on crew and actors and people to be there,
- 30:47Speaker 1: and I am not there because it would better serve
- 30:49Speaker 1: the movie if I am at home eating my fucked
- 30:52Speaker 1: up chicken. Maybe we should. We should wrap this off
- 30:55Speaker 1: with one final question? What's next?
- 31:00Speaker 7: I am shooting something next week. I don't know what
- 31:03Speaker 7: it is.
- 31:03Speaker 4: I won't know until I show up, but my my
- 31:06Speaker 4: manager said it's really great.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Do you have any name or anything like that.
- 31:10Speaker 4: I think I'm playing someone who is in history, but
- 31:13Speaker 4: I don't know who it is yet.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Do you know the movie president?
- 31:16Speaker 4: The movie is called the movie is called The Mark
- 31:21Speaker 4: Twain's Story. But I don't know who I'm playing yet.
- 31:24Speaker 1: So you are the lead in the Mark Twain Story.
- 31:27Speaker 7: Yeah, but I don't know what it's about. I ain't
- 31:29Speaker 7: looked it up or anything.
- 31:30Speaker 1: It sounds like you're playing Mark Twain.
- 31:34Speaker 7: I guess, Well, it.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Sounds very excited.
- 31:36Speaker 7: Well, see, I don't know. I mean, I don't know.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Maybe you know it's maybe it's the person who's writing
- 31:40Speaker 4: the story. Maybe it's somebody else.
- 31:42Speaker 7: I don't know. I'm excited. It's gonna be fun.
- 31:45Speaker 2: So Mark Twain is an author, so if anybody was
- 31:47Speaker 2: writing the story, it'd probably be Mark Twain.
- 31:49Speaker 7: Well, who's to say. We don't know, and we don't
- 31:51Speaker 7: know who wrote it.
- 31:52Speaker 4: So I'm excited though they're paying me twenty five million dollars,
- 31:55Speaker 4: so I'm looking forward to it.
- 31:58Speaker 7: What about you, Jared, what are you up to?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Well? Funny you should ask, I mean, honestly, obviously, I
- 32:07Speaker 1: should say. The mixer has been signed on for about
- 32:10Speaker 1: seventeen more movies, so you will be getting a new
- 32:14Speaker 1: mixer every three years until my body gives out, which
- 32:20Speaker 1: I don't think it will. And then in the middle
- 32:24Speaker 1: of that, somewhere around twenty twenty five, I will be
- 32:28Speaker 1: voicing the animated character and a Disney film called Little
- 32:32Speaker 1: Rabbit Gets a Carrot, And I'm very excited to play
- 32:37Speaker 1: the Little Rabbit. It's going to be a deep departure
- 32:41Speaker 1: for me to add some dimension to the Little Rabbit.
- 32:46Speaker 7: Have you thought about going method for that yet? What
- 32:48Speaker 7: are you gonna do?
- 32:49Speaker 1: Oh? I'm going method. I'm going method. I'm going to
- 32:52Speaker 1: be the Easter Bunny at my niece's Easter Christmas.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I mean, that's fun. You guys combine them, that's really fun.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I've run a different region of Christianity.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Region understandable is it the Southwest region or the.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Region of Christianity?
- 33:13Speaker 1: Is the New Mexico sect of Christianity where we celebrate
- 33:17Speaker 1: Eastern Christmas on the same day, and then we celebrate
- 33:21Speaker 1: Christmas a second time, but that's with Halloween. We call
- 33:25Speaker 1: it Spooky Christmas. And it's where Jesus Christ came back
- 33:30Speaker 1: to eat a pupkins.
- 33:32Speaker 7: I've heard about New Mexico Christianity.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Lolon, what are you up to?
- 33:40Speaker 6: Well, I don't know if I'm allowed to say this,
- 33:43Speaker 6: but I'll go forward take the risk. We're doing hit
- 33:46Speaker 6: and Run boat series.
- 33:48Speaker 3: We're doing a.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Boat, so it's just called hit and Run boat.
- 33:53Speaker 6: I think it's untitled Hit and Run Boat Project.
- 33:57Speaker 5: To be honest.
- 33:58Speaker 6: I think it's we're just doing the series and we're
- 34:02Speaker 6: doing it all in a boat.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Quick question is it Is it a boat hitting
- 34:06Speaker 2: a boat or a car hitting a boat or a
- 34:08Speaker 2: boat hitting a car.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Oh, I should have been clear. It's a car hitting
- 34:12Speaker 5: a boat.
- 34:13Speaker 1: So it kid goes in the water like a duck tour.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Yes, and the car scurry scurry is away. They can't
- 34:20Speaker 5: find it, so it hits.
- 34:22Speaker 2: The boat and then drives away in the water.
- 34:24Speaker 5: Or it sinks or the boat.
- 34:25Speaker 6: The boat can't find the car, is what's happening, and.
- 34:29Speaker 1: So the boat is trying to get the car. The
- 34:32Speaker 1: car follows the boat into the water, but the boat
- 34:35Speaker 1: doesn't see it, and then the car hits the boat
- 34:38Speaker 1: and doesn't sink.
- 34:40Speaker 7: Sounds like a real cat and mouse story.
- 34:42Speaker 6: Me, yes, it's it's very it's a car hits boat.
- 34:48Speaker 1: And do you feel remorse in this one as the
- 34:51Speaker 1: as the driver of the.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Boat or no, Well, an actor can tell.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Also, Lalen doesn't know. I'll have to get into a
- 34:59Speaker 6: hit her.
- 35:00Speaker 3: The character hit her.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Let's get hit I want to hear hitters.
- 35:08Speaker 5: Give me some space, give me.
- 35:12Speaker 7: Right now.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I'm so excited to hear her do the voice. The
- 35:16Speaker 1: voice is what makes him.
- 35:22Speaker 5: We hit him.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Let's get out of here.
- 35:26Speaker 7: He's doing the car too.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Fuck, we hit that ball. Let's get out of here.
- 35:34Speaker 3: We hit that boat. Let's get out of the water.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I remember that in the movies that most of the
- 35:43Speaker 2: car sound effects was made by you, were made by you.
- 35:46Speaker 3: What happened? I blacked out?
- 35:48Speaker 2: You did not you?
- 35:52Speaker 1: I know exactly what you mean.
- 35:55Speaker 7: No, y'all did not do that.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Who's next?
- 35:59Speaker 3: Who's next?
- 36:00Speaker 2: Well, you know, I've just got a couple of funeral
- 36:04Speaker 2: memorial services to hit up the next couple weeks and months.
- 36:08Speaker 2: They're kind of backlog right now.
- 36:09Speaker 1: All right, it's Jeff and Dayah. Give us a rapid firelist.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Who's dead?
- 36:13Speaker 2: Okay, my grandmother just passed away. She was the one
- 36:17Speaker 2: who raised me as one. Okay, we'll go a little faster.
- 36:22Speaker 2: My dog got hit by the train. I just built.
- 36:26Speaker 2: My favorite chef his restaurant collapsed in an earthquake.
- 36:30Speaker 1: And three, probably many more if you count house. So
- 36:33Speaker 1: let's say.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I own a hotel in uh In, Kenya and it
- 36:38Speaker 2: also just collapsed. Same earthquake affected that. Yeah, an airplane
- 36:44Speaker 2: of most of my distant relatives who were coming to
- 36:47Speaker 2: see me and welcome me. I was trying to do
- 36:48Speaker 2: this whole big family get together. It got hit by
- 36:51Speaker 2: lightning and just went down. Then, ironically, I'm going to
- 36:56Speaker 2: the funeral of somebody I actually hit and run away from.
- 37:00Speaker 2: In a twist of fate, I was the one who
- 37:02Speaker 2: killed a family and at home to this day. So
- 37:06Speaker 2: I'm giving a little speech in an apology, because it's
- 37:10Speaker 2: crazy that they let you be at the funeral and
- 37:13Speaker 2: give a speech. They're very upset, but I've got you
- 37:15Speaker 2: want to hear the speech, yes.
- 37:17Speaker 7: Sure, but please you don't have to get in character
- 37:21Speaker 7: for it, do you? Because I can't handle that right now.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I'm mostly playing myself in my movies. Hi, I'm so sorry,
- 37:31Speaker 2: I'm here. I just wanted to say a few words.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Life is perpetually in motion, and sometimes that motion stops,
- 37:42Speaker 2: and sometimes other people cause that motion to stop, like
- 37:46Speaker 2: a car hitting a family. The car comes to a stop,
- 37:50Speaker 2: and so do they cheers.
- 37:56Speaker 4: It's beautiful looking for notes, But cheers isn't usually the
- 38:00Speaker 4: way you endo any sort of eulogy.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and I wouldn't. One would be you don't really
- 38:06Speaker 1: you should? You should plug your movie at the end
- 38:08Speaker 1: of it. At every every press appearance, there is an objective,
- 38:12Speaker 1: and it is to see, uh, you have to plug
- 38:14Speaker 1: something at the end.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, that's very true. Maybe I maybe I'll
- 38:18Speaker 2: do that. And I like cheers honestly, It's what I've
- 38:20Speaker 2: used at most of my memorial services. That's kind of
- 38:23Speaker 2: my signature move.
- 38:24Speaker 7: Well, you're right, I shouldn't, you know, teach its own.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I guess, yeah, teach his own. But that's me. Should
- 38:31Speaker 2: we end it? Uh? Just kind of saying acting things.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Sure, you want to say some acting things.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Let's all say some acting things and let's go, Uh,
- 38:44Speaker 2: hit your mark, always hit you blocking, blocking.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Connect paper for the lines to be on.
- 38:55Speaker 7: Oh yeah, script wearing costume, trailers.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Fake blood. That one was from the mix it. This
