- 1:41Does yummy foods and then people comes, they give money, but I
- 1:46don't really care about it because like people's more
- 1:49important about it. People are more important than
- 1:51money. I really love that point.
- 1:53What do you mean by that? It's just that the poor people
- 1:57in need needs money so they can have a better life.
- 2:02That's so amazing. Well done.

- 2:10well. And now don't ask me some
- 2:13questions. OK, I'll ask you some questions.
- 2:17So you're not nervous. You're doing amazing.
- 2:19I'm feeling nervous that I'm beside you, but yeah.
- 2:23What's your favorite colour? Purple and black.
- 2:25Purple and black. Black because it's a dark
- 2:28colour. I'm not really used to like
- 2:30colours, but I like the sun but not by its colour.
- 2:33How much it makes me hot. Do you know what?
- 2:35Do you know what my favorite colours are?
- 2:37Yes, black and green, and yeah, I think your food is blue.
- 2:41Black, green and blue. I love green.
- 2:43Yeah, and you like a black? I like black because I, I, you
- 2:48know, I'm she, I at the end of the day.
- 2:50So black is the best form of colour, yeah.
- 2:53I like purple because my favorite YouTube is colour OK
- 2:56and also the cute colour like by there is also nice colour
- 3:00because it matches with purple different type.
- 3:02Of purple. Yeah.
- 3:04I'm going to ask you another question.
- 3:05Because people don't know who you are, OK?
- 3:08They know you're my daughter by now, but they don't know much
- 3:11about you. So you know your favorite
- 3:13colour. We know you love Jenna.
- 3:16Your sister, Daddy. Me.
- 3:17Of course. Mama as well.
- 3:20Yeah, like her. So my final question from the
- 3:24Holy Quran. Oh yeah, do you like Nurse?
- 3:27Nurse is my favorite. You're asking OK, you like sorta
- 3:31to nurse. Do you know how to recite sorta
- 3:33to nurse? OK, if you sit straight and
- 3:38breathe in, take a deep breath. I.
- 3:40Don't need one. OK, tell us whenever you're.
- 3:43In I'm Not a Baby. Oh my days.
- 3:48She's not like this at home. By the way.

- 3:54Wait, what? I start.
- 4:04With you said no, what do you what do you say before you
- 4:16start? Thank you.

- 4:27Your everything. Shall we tell you at school?
- 4:28Thank you. I sent you.
- 4:31Now, as a final thing, I'm free. Baba needs to start the episode.
- 4:35OK, So I'm just going to say Shukran.
- 4:38Anymore Set. Yeah.
- 4:40I want to kiss. I want to kiss.
- 4:41I'll be able to. Yeah.
- 4:42Let's say bye to everyone on the camera.
- 4:45Marcelama. We'll see you when.
- 4:48I'm 12. When you're 12.
- 5:00I really hope you guys enjoyed that segment with my daughter
- 5:03Haneen. I know she was nervous, you
- 5:06know, she was hesitant and she well, in the last hour before
- 5:11the podcast, she was giving me like an indicator, a barometer
- 5:14of how confident she was. So if she's done good, please
- 5:17let us know in the comments, you know, give her a thumbs up and
- 5:19I'll share that with her. And Charlotte.
- 5:21This encourages her more. I don't know to come back on the
- 5:24podcast or not, but if you're listening to this episode, you
- 5:27haven't heard Ahmed's voice. If you're watching this episode
- 5:31beyond Air Libby TV or YouTube, you have yet to see Ahmed on
- 5:35this episode. If you're wondering where he is,
- 5:38I can guarantee you the rumours that he's in the Cayman Islands
- 5:41is false. The allegation that Ahmed is
- 5:43skiing in the Swiss Alps is false.
- 5:46At the same time, the truth is Ahmed recently underwent
- 5:53surgery. He stayed in the hospital for a
- 5:56few days and Hamdullah was Shakur.
- 5:57He is better, he is recovering, he is at home.
- 6:01So we pray for him and Insha'allah, you do as well.
- 6:05Pray for a speedy recovery so that we can get him back to the
- 6:08sets as soon as possible. Now, today's episode is a bit
- 6:13different. Why?
- 6:15Because Ahmed may not be here, but he's here in spirit and he's
- 6:19definitely here. How does he look?
- 6:24Beautiful. Beautiful as always, glowing
- 6:26Mashallah Nooran Allah Noor. I told you, Ahmed, I'm not
- 6:29having this conversation without you.
- 6:31So there you are. I bring a photo of you so that
- 6:33we can remember you and I'm going to place on the table in
- 6:36front of me. Now today I want to go over a
- 6:41few updates that we have on after Mushroom.
- 6:43At the same time, I want to explore, you know what our
- 6:46audience have been saying in the comments section and the DMS
- 6:50that they reach out to us and you know how the feedback has
- 6:54been on the previous episodes we've had so shallow.
- 6:56We will explore that together. We haven't done that in a very,
- 6:59very long time. Now, before I mention the
- 7:03engagement of our amazing audience, I just want to say 2
- 7:06weeks ago, roughly 2 weeks ago, we finally crossed 10,000
- 7:11subscribers on YouTube, Hamdallahu Shakur.
- 7:15It's a huge milestone for us. Although we have Masha Allah, I
- 7:18would say 10s and 10s of thousands of audio streams
- 7:22across all our platforms, YouTube, for some reason
- 7:25everyone's watching but no one's subscribing.
- 7:27Subscribe that. Well, no smash that subscribe
- 7:30button. So inshallah, we can get to
- 7:32100,001 day. Why we don't benefit anything
- 7:35from that. Rather the channel benefits and
- 7:38it grows and it can reach out to more audiences inshallah.
- 7:41So thank you to everyone that subscribed.
- 7:43You're amazing. You're part of our family and
- 7:45insha'allah, don't just subscribe to YouTube, follow us
- 7:48on Spotify, follow us on Apple, give us a five star rating and
- 7:52just do what needs to be done to insha'allah, get after Maghrib
- 7:56alive on online. Now, say Mustafa, am I allowed
- 8:01to speak about the event? Yeah, go.
- 8:04Ahead Bismillah. So insha'allah, we have been
- 8:07making some noise recently. You will see on our Instagram
- 8:11and the previous two or three episodes of ours, in the intro,
- 8:13we've mentioned that we are having our first after Maghrib
- 8:17live event where we will be having Insha Allah discussion
- 8:20panels, a live podcast, performances, you know,
- 8:24inspirational and motivational talks, poetry recitations and
- 8:29so, so, so much more. So if you are in London on the
- 8:3211th of January, Saturday 11th of January 2025, please, please,
- 8:37please don't miss out. We want you there, we want to
- 8:39meet you, we want to see you and we want you to have fun
- 8:42celebrating the life of Amir Al Mumminin, Imam Ali Ali, his
- 8:46Salaam on his auspicious birth. Do you think it's going to be an
- 8:49event on the lifetime? We'll find out one way or
- 8:52another. And, and Charlotte will be I, I
- 8:55think it will be a phenomenal event.
- 8:57Number one, we have amazing speakers coming.
- 8:59They're going to add so much, so much of value to the event
- 9:02itself. We're going to learn from them.
- 9:04There's going to be major. I don't want to say what the
- 9:05topics are because I know when the process of releasing the the
- 9:09panels and the speakers and more marketing materials and show a
- 9:12lot where people can see slowly but surely.
- 9:15But this is the way your bus enticing you to grab your
- 9:17tickets, go to www.aftermath.com/book and guess
- 9:22what? You can get 20% off.
- 9:24Use the voucher code AM FAMILY for 20% off.
- 9:28Can I speak about about about website?
- 9:31Yeah, go ahead. OK, so you have to say about the
- 9:33website. This what do I have to say about
- 9:35the website I hope. You're not going to rinse me?
- 9:37La, la, la, la, you're doing an amazing job, said.
- 9:39All I want to say is aftermath, rob.com, it's there, it's alive,
- 9:42it's public. Anyone can view it.
- 9:45But at the same time you can benefit from a number of things.
- 9:47I know we're still in the early stages of the website, but
- 9:50inshallah we are getting there. You have an opportunity to
- 9:53submit reads and go over many, many blogs.
- 9:56You have the opportunity and shut Allah to browse our online
- 10:00store where you can get after Maghrib merch and when you make
- 10:04a purchase when you place an order.
- 10:05This supports After Maghrib and Inshallah.
- 10:08Together we can grow slowly but surely at the same time.
- 10:11You have an opportunity if you want to.
- 10:13No one's forcing you by Inshallah.
- 10:15If you do find the Aftermath platform to be beneficial, we do
- 10:19need your help and we do need your support.
- 10:20There is a section where you can donate and contribute on a
- 10:23monthly spaces or at the same time make a one off donation
- 10:26with whatever amount is comfortable to you and shut all
- 10:29up. We we really depend on people's
- 10:32monthly donations to keep the podcast running.
- 10:35We do we do. There's a lot of costs.
- 10:37There's a lot of finances that are required to sustain
- 10:39aftermath because we are planning a major, major new
- 10:42things. I think if I can share, if you
- 10:44allow me to say it, I know many things are still in the early
- 10:46pipeline, but there is talk there is, you know, whispers.
- 10:50It's not Chinese whispers is good whispers when shut Allah.
- 10:53We are looking to have a sisters podcast, am I right?
- 10:58I think it's something that people have been asking for a
- 11:01long time. You can go as far back as our
- 11:03season 1 episode and people are commenting.
- 11:05Can we get a sisters only podcast?
- 11:07That's true, that's so true, and Insha Allah, this is something
- 11:09we're looking into. At the same time, I believe
- 11:12there is the possibility of our studying.
- 11:14To make that work, we've had to actually go forward and get our
- 11:17own space. As most people who've been on
- 11:19the podcast know, for the past year or so, we've been jumping
- 11:24from space to space that people have generously given us to use.
- 11:29So inshallah, we're planning on moving into our own space very
- 11:33soon, and then that will give us the opportunities to start new
- 11:37shows such as the Sisters Podcast.
- 11:40But we can only afford these with people's monthly donations.
- 11:44Our sense, our sense Amazing, amazing.
- 11:48No Inshallah people will support us and back us.
- 11:50And inshallah, if you love the work we do and you want to see
- 11:53us grow and you want us to invest more in content creation,
- 11:58especially now you know, when you're when you have, you know,
- 12:00you're fighting against Netflix, you're fighting against
- 12:03Youtubers and bloggers who are, you know, just producing and
- 12:05creating content that's just nonsensical.
- 12:09It's unbeneficial. And it certainly doesn't take
- 12:11you towards your Archana or improve your faith or your
- 12:14animal or your knowledge. So make sure if you don't want
- 12:16to see us go. If you don't want to see us die,
- 12:18you continue to swat after my Reb inshallah, not just with
- 12:20your duas, but at the same time financially with how little ever
- 12:24you can give. OK guys, now that we've
- 12:26mentioned some of the updates, I think it's now time to get into
- 12:29today's episode where Inshallah wanna look over the comments,
- 12:33the feedback, the DMS that we've been receiving from our
- 12:36audience. And just before I do that, I
- 12:38just want to mention something very quickly actually about
- 12:40Syria. You know, I'm, I've been
- 12:43noticing something quite worrying and I know many people
- 12:45around the world are watching and tuning into, you know, the
- 12:48events that are unfolding in Syria.
- 12:50Some people are happy, some people are upset, some people
- 12:53are confused. The way I see things right now
- 12:56is that there's a lot of lot of work going on behind the scenes
- 13:00to try to hijack, I think, a genuine cry for help from
- 13:06Syrians against Bashar al-Assad. You know what, Hamdallah, I
- 13:09would say al Hamdallah that Bashar al-Assad is gone.
- 13:12He was someone who was cruel, someone who is evil as a leader
- 13:16and no doubt someone who, you know, I would say truly, truly
- 13:21trying rest on the rights of, you know, a lot of civilians in
- 13:25Syria, no doubt. But the problem is, I want to
- 13:27mention is that, yeah, he's gone now, which is good for many
- 13:29people. And I think you, you have a
- 13:31right to be happy and to be joyous for this.
- 13:34But I think you need to be cautious and you need to sort of
- 13:37think, you know, what's the bigger picture, what's at play
- 13:39here? And the way I see it is, you
- 13:42know, you have the Zionist state of Israel expanding itself and
- 13:47we see this. Yeah.
- 13:47I've been watching the news unfold over the last few days.
- 13:51I've seen Israel enter to Syria, grab lots of land and claim it
- 13:56for themselves in the name of defending their borders.
- 14:00At the same time, we're seeing, you know, different factions
- 14:02between themselves not knowing how to rule or how to govern
- 14:05over their people. So I will just say something.
- 14:08I think one has to be wary. One has to be cautious.
- 14:12I, I don't want to make this into, you know, something where
- 14:15I don't want to say Syrians should have been happy for what
- 14:18happened in Syria. I think just like we did in Iraq
- 14:21when we got rid of our dictator, our tyrant, our volume, our
- 14:25Mujrin, which is Saddam ECN. And very something I saw very
- 14:29shocking is that, you know, the Syrians, not all of them, some
- 14:33of them when they were celebrating the downfall of
- 14:36Bashar al-Assad, they were raising the pictures of Saddam
- 14:40ECN, something that makes sense to me, you know, 1 + 1 is 2.
- 14:44But this was this equation was, you know, beyond what, what what
- 14:49can work in any mind. And when you hold the picture of
- 14:52Saddam celebrating the downfall of asset, why are you
- 14:56celebrating, you know, the fall of 1 tyrant and praising a
- 15:01different tyrant? But anyhow, I think the point I
- 15:03want to say is something that I have noticed.
- 15:05There's a lot of chats are online, be on X, which is
- 15:09Twitter, be on. I've come across some YouTube
- 15:15shorts. I've come across some TikTok
- 15:17videos and definitely via Instagram where I've seen this,
- 15:20this chatter, this noise of sectarianism.
- 15:24You know, we have to be careful of this.
- 15:27As a Shia, I will say something from my perspective as a Shia
- 15:30Muslim. Surya does worry me in the sense
- 15:34of does this mean we may go back to, you know, civil war between
- 15:40good and evil, right and wrong, truth and falsehood?
- 15:42You pick your side, but ultimately it's going to be the
- 15:46Shia. I'm not going to say ultimately,
- 15:50but ultimately the Shia will have to defend themselves in the
- 15:52event, for example, let's say our rights are stepped on or our
- 15:58sanctuaries, you know, our holy mosques, our Muhammad, say the
- 16:04Zainab alayhi Salam, say the Rokhi alayhi Salam.
- 16:07Like if things happen there, then definitely there may be an
- 16:10issue in a rise of sectarian violence.
- 16:13But I would say from our side, at least I know and history
- 16:16proves it back many, many years ago when there was an uprising
- 16:20and a civil war in Syria, the Shia were there defending the
- 16:23shrines and defending the people.
- 16:24And this is something we are more than happy to do all over
- 16:27again. What I want to say is be careful
- 16:30not to turn this into something has to do with Sunnifi Shia,
- 16:33because I'm already seeing videos.
- 16:34And I came across a video yesterday which I uploaded on my
- 16:37Instagram and it was a man who calls himself Abu Omar al
- 16:43Dhimishkri. So the father of Omar from
- 16:48Damascus, he was outside Makam Seidharukai Alayhi Salaam, and
- 16:54he was saying things along the lines of, you know, oh, Shia,
- 17:01you Shia, you're Awafa, you're rejectionists.
- 17:05Look at us, we're back. Benny Ulmenya is back to the
- 17:09Mishk. You know, Abu Sufyan is back,
- 17:12Mawiya is back and he's talking and he's talking, you know,
- 17:16Yushi at this, Yushi at that. When he said something towards
- 17:19the I didn't mind, it didn't bother me.
- 17:20But he said something at the back at the end of the video
- 17:23where he said, well, weren't you the guys who said Lady Zainab
- 17:29Alayhi Salaam is not going to be held captive twice?
- 17:33And that really, really like it made me boil.
- 17:37It made my blood boil. And he had the audacity to say
- 17:39that outside Makam said Rukhaya Alayhi Salaam.
- 17:44And then he says, what my next video.
- 17:46So he he's planning on, you know, still putting sort of salt
- 17:51on our wounds, where he will go to the latest aim of trying to
- 17:55continue the video. And bye bye Shia and bye bye
- 17:58that. And may Allah be pleased with
- 18:00Mahawya. May Allah, you know, be pleased
- 18:03with Abu Sufyan and things like this.
- 18:04What are we doing? Yeah.
- 18:06And I don't know if I want to speak more about it, but I'm
- 18:09just trying to say what I'm noticing.
- 18:10What I'm trying to say is that we need to be careful, Insha
- 18:13Allah, not to turn this into a Sunni Shi.
- 18:15I think rather have to be sparkle right from wrong and
- 18:18truth this falsehood. And a few days ago, I came
- 18:22across, actually, I'll mention one more video and I'll move on.
- 18:25A few days ago I saw a video of someone who claims to be from
- 18:30the Syrian rebels. I can't remember if he was
- 18:34actually Syrian or Chechnyan, I don't remember now.
- 18:37And he was walking into one of our mosques, one of the Shia
- 18:41mosques, one of the Hussein yachts, 1 Shia centre.
- 18:45And he was walking in with his shoes, no respect whatsoever
- 18:48with his shoes on top of our symbols, our banners, our
- 18:55posters, our calligraphy, our flags, you know, photos of
- 19:01symbolic Shia personalities. And he's walking on there
- 19:06holding a book in his hand. And he's saying, look, this is
- 19:11the book of the Shia. These are your Shia books.
- 19:15These are the Shia books. Little does he know the book he
- 19:17was holding was actually Mafati Hajjinan, which is a book
- 19:20dedicated to supplications, EDA art, you know, duas to Allah,
- 19:24subhanahu Ta'ala. The thing is, he didn't open it.
- 19:26But something that struck me when I saw that video is that
- 19:29there was a Quran there and I really wished he picked up that
- 19:32Quran and he said, look, I've got the sheet out Quran.
- 19:35The problem is I think he already opened it and he saw,
- 19:37you know, it's the same Quran. So it's not going to fit in his
- 19:40narrative. But we just need to be careful
- 19:42inshallah not to turn this on a Sunni sheet, I think.
- 19:44But for any shit out there who tells you no, don't mention it,
- 19:47don't talk about it. No, let us, let us says, oh,
- 19:50alright, honey, these the ehl bait mean the world to us,
- 19:54right? So if we feel upset, if we feel
- 19:56angry, if we feel some form of, you know, rage, I think is only
- 20:02natural. And the fact that exists, I
- 20:04think it's a blessing from Allah Sopana, what's Allah that we can
- 20:08feel this from people who hate the EHL bait from people.
- 20:16Who support those who did wrong to the Helen bait, to those who
- 20:19oppressed them, angered them, killed them, butchered them and
- 20:24the list can go on. So if we feel a sense of being
- 20:27upset or sense of being angry, in my opinion, this is
- 20:32absolutely normal. Just how we channel it is very
- 20:35important and not to make it as Sunni Shia thing.
- 20:38And we need to distinguish between who's a takfiri, who's a
- 20:41Salafi, who's a Wahhabi, and who's your normal Muslim,
- 20:44average Muslim, inshallah. Anyhow, enough of Surya.
- 20:48Let's dive into today. OK, so guys, you know, I don't
- 20:54think luck worked with us today. Instagram sort of is bugging
- 20:57out. It's not allowing me to load a
- 21:01number of messages and a number of things before I even came on
- 21:04the podcast today. So I said, you know, just in
- 21:06case, let me take some screenshots.
- 21:09And it seems like Instagram is still doing this.
- 21:11So bear with me if not everything is up to date and
- 21:14it's only to a minimum. I'm going to come to actually,
- 21:17I'm going to wait for Instagram. I may reload it in a bit if it
- 21:20works. I'm let me go to YouTube very
- 21:21quickly because I remember seeing some comments, some
- 21:24interesting comments from you amazing people.
- 21:28Let me go to this recent one. OK, so this is an episode with
- 21:36Doctor Seid Musaf Al Kazwini, someone who joined us on an
- 21:39episode where we discussed narcissism.
- 21:42Narcissism, Am I pronouncing that right?
- 21:45Narcissism. That's a tongue twister for me
- 21:49right now, but you get the point.
- 21:50And we spoke about, I think toxic relationships between
- 21:55parents and their children. I think we elaborated and
- 21:58explored many things like when it comes to, for example, even
- 22:03anxiety and depression. So there's a lot of things we
- 22:05covered in that episode and there's some comments that have
- 22:08come in. So I'm going to share some one
- 22:11person has said I've been a silent watcher of these podcasts
- 22:16for a while. Marshall, our great podcast.
- 22:18I've often had discussions with my family that being depressed
- 22:22doesn't mean that a person isn't a believer.
- 22:25And it's nice to see justification for their
- 22:28arguments. Thank you for what you are
- 22:29doing. Love the variety of speakers.
- 22:32I definitely agree with this. And I, I, I think I was the one
- 22:35who rang up this point not to take credit.
- 22:36I remember I was telling saying Mustafa, you know, a lot of
- 22:39people say if they are suffering from anxiety or the suffering
- 22:43from depression, that, for example, they lack spirituality
- 22:48with Allah, they lack a relationship with God, a
- 22:50connection with Allah Azzawajal. And I think that's absolutely
- 22:53wrong. And, and the says there's
- 22:54something very nice when he said just like Allah, for example,
- 22:57you know, he's, he's, he's the doctor of the heart.
- 23:02Allah Azawajal also wants us, you know, to seek professional
- 23:04medical help at the same time as well, be it for your, whether
- 23:07you're suffering from any mental ill health or physical health.
- 23:11You can't just say, for example, Allah is going to cure me.
- 23:15You say, you know, I'll be cured by the will of will of Allah and
- 23:18Shah Allah by also at the same time have to seek medical
- 23:21professional assistance to alleviate any pain, any
- 23:24suffering. And that was a very nice point
- 23:26because it goes against that thought process of if you're
- 23:31suffering anything from let's say mental ill health or
- 23:35depression or anxiety, that you lack spirituality.
- 23:39And he said something actually, he said a very nice point.
- 23:41He gave an example where he said Allah Spano at Allah says in the
- 23:46Quran, he gives the example of the honey, you know, Fihi shifan
- 23:54that there is cure, there is a cure in the honey, which was a
- 23:59very nice thing, which was a very nice point that Allah spano
- 24:01at Allah saying, you know, even honey has its benefits.
- 24:04And you know, Subhan Allah, today we look at medicine and we
- 24:06look at science and we see it's proven that honey from the honey
- 24:10bees, not the fake honey you find in some dodgy stores here
- 24:13in London around the world, actual genuine, real pure honey
- 24:17has a lot of benefits for a human being.
- 24:20Inshallah I'm going to go over some more comments.
- 24:24Someone said, oh, this one, this one is OK.
- 24:29So in the same episode somebody said I feel this topic should be
- 24:35readdressed as abuse and forgiveness.
- 24:40Whilst the host intended on talking about narcissistic
- 24:43behaviour, the talk veers towards the abused invited to
- 24:47forgive. And while the learner Sheikh
- 24:51referring to say Mustafa gives good reasons and examples for
- 24:54the Prophet's times for doing this, I feel he equally
- 24:58dismisses the impact of abuse on a person.
- 25:00Furthermore, and on one hand, the chef clearly admonishes the
- 25:04act of domestic violence, which is really helpful, but the
- 25:08advice not to proceed to tell authorities in cases because of
- 25:12children are taken away or separated is very unhelpful
- 25:16because it lends to the lack of understanding of the dangerous
- 25:19impact third party abuse can have on children.
- 25:25That's a very interesting one saying which of all right, if I
- 25:29can be honest and I can be real. Firstly, I think I would say we
- 25:34tried our best to address this point.
- 25:37At the same time, we were limited in time.
- 25:39And I, and I think more importantly, I think when we,
- 25:43when they say they bring up the, the example of, you know,
- 25:47Ayadabullah, a father sexually abusing their daughter for many
- 25:52years. And this went on and there was a
- 25:54pattern of abuse that's happening.
- 25:57See, Islam will always encourage you to seek forgiveness, not
- 26:02just in the case of what was happening between this father
- 26:05and daughter, but from anything, you know, the fact we only think
- 26:08in this from Allah, Subhanawat Allah.
- 26:10So the best Islamic advice is that, and you have to note down
- 26:14something when they say it was speaking, was that the abuse
- 26:17wasn't still going on. He was referring to a subject
- 26:21that was happening at the time. And then later on he spoke to
- 26:24the sister, is there a way where we can find forgiveness between
- 26:27yourself and your father? And he gave us some Islamic
- 26:29examples, which is what we learned from from Rasulallah
- 26:32Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
- 26:36And she chose that approach. This was a choice, a choice she
- 26:39made. I don't think they say it
- 26:41persuaded her or told her. That's the choice you need to
- 26:44take. He gave the best advice you can
- 26:46give at that time. And as you mentioned, this was
- 26:48something he's never heard before happening in in the
- 26:51community. And this was a shock to him and
- 26:54it was a reality check. Like you, I think rightfully
- 26:57mentioned that we need to elaborate on this discussion,
- 27:01Insha'allah. I don't want to add anything
- 27:02more because I don't want to say anything wrong because it's a
- 27:04very, very sensitive point. But I would say one thing, if
- 27:11there is, you know, abuse happening, anyone out there is,
- 27:15I think facing any form of abuse, be it physically or
- 27:20emotionally, I think you have to speak with someone.
- 27:24Of course, first speak to our last Pano Matala, but speak with
- 27:27someone in sha Allah, they can give you the right advice.
- 27:29I, I, I personally would say when you speak, let's say to a
- 27:33Maulana, don't just speak to a Maulana, only speak to someone
- 27:36who deals in this field professionally.
- 27:38So for example, if you have to speak to someone who's, I don't
- 27:42know, a mental mental health professional consultant, speak
- 27:49with them, not just with a say it or just with a share.
- 27:51Speak with both of them so you get the best advice from both on
- 27:55how to move forward. And I think after the podcast,
- 27:59I'll be very honest, me and Ahmed, who is not here today
- 28:03whilst photos on the table, if you're watching, we'll, I, I
- 28:06think we, we discussed between ourselves that we definitely
- 28:09need to retouch and reopen this, this topic once more because
- 28:16there were a lot of things we could not explore deeper.
- 28:19But we try to take as much as we can from a say in within a very
- 28:22small limited time. So do forgive us if we didn't
- 28:26elaborate and expand and explore a lot of back and forth Q&A's
- 28:31with the say it and ourselves. Well, Sharla, definitely we are
- 28:34going to approach this topic and we do have someone in mind who's
- 28:38actually geared for a discussion, in particular when
- 28:42it comes to, for example, abuse and narcissism and things like
- 28:46that. So inshallah, hopefully I can't
- 28:49tell you when, but inshallah, God willing, it will happen.
- 28:52What do you think is too much information?
- 28:54Huh. You're leaking too much
- 28:55information. I'm leaking too much
- 28:56information. Say it, I've got a comment.
- 28:58Ya sattar, not a comment. Actually a screenshot from one
- 29:03of our chats. Our chats as I mean from you, ya
- 29:07sattar. It's from you, it says I might
- 29:11move. To be honest I'm considering
- 29:12many options but I have too much on my plate to consider.
- 29:15Does this mean you're you're leaving the podcast?
- 29:18One second once. Can you say that one more time?
- 29:20It's it's from you it says I might move.
- 29:22To be honest, I'm considering my options but I have too much on
- 29:25my plate to consider. Are you leaving the podcast?
- 29:30Say it. You're trying to cause problems,
- 29:34Yeah. No, I'm trying to squeeze you
- 29:35into a corner. I I think look, would you?
- 29:38Ever leave the podcast? Would I ever leave after Mahreb?
- 29:41I think the only way I will ever leave after Mahreb is even if I
- 29:45move abroad. That's number one.
- 29:47Number two, if if said Mustaba and the team here.
- 29:51We'll move abroad with you. A lot.
- 29:53I like that, I like that. But I don't think I'll ever
- 29:55leave after Mahreb. It's become a part of me.
- 29:59Say it. You'll take it with you.
- 30:00I'll be honest, I was saying the other day, right?
- 30:02I was was I telling you or the entire WhatsApp group that we
- 30:05have, God forbid this, this WhatsApp group gets leaked, but
- 30:09I was telling it's where. We planned the pot.
- 30:11Please no one. No one.
- 30:12Hacked the WhatsApp group, so we discussed like topics and who we
- 30:15should bring on and stuff. Yeah yeah.
- 30:17But sometimes the the discussions go overboard.
- 30:20But I was, I was telling say, Mushaba and the boys in the
- 30:22group that, you know, when I make a decision, something
- 30:26somehow after Magleb always comes back.
- 30:27So I'll also put after Magleb as a priority when I think of doing
- 30:31something or anything. But I would say something and
- 30:33after Magleb, when I say it's become a part of me, it has
- 30:36genuinely become a part of me. Say it.
- 30:40I wake up, we have to discuss after Magleb, I'm at work.
- 30:47By the way, Ahmed, the way it says if we want to add a member
- 30:49to the podcast. They have to love it as much as
- 30:52we do. If they don't, it's not the
- 30:53same. It's a very good point.
- 30:54And that's what I think. That's what's beautiful about
- 30:56our team. Inshallah.
- 30:57And I, and I think I'm right when I say this, is that even if
- 30:59one of us is like feeling low or a bit lost or demotivated or
- 31:03something, there's always someone in the group saying,
- 31:06supporting and pushing us back in.
- 31:08So handle that. We have a good bunch.
- 31:10Or like when you wake up and Ahmed sent a screenshot of like
- 31:13an e-mail we've received or a comment, and then it just shows
- 31:16like, people are affected by the work you do and it wants you to
- 31:20carry on doing. Bigger things, you know, say
- 31:21just I think just a final point on that.
- 31:25Would I ever leave after Maghrib?
- 31:28I don't think so, and that's the truth.
- 31:31If I get cancelled or I or I die or move abroad, hopefully I
- 31:35haven't said anything that I guess we cancelled or kicked
- 31:37out, but the amount of messages say it and you know this the
- 31:43amount of. People you see day-to-day.
- 31:46People that reach out to after Maghrib and say how of the
- 31:51Muslim has changed their life like I was telling Ahmed 2-3
- 31:55weeks ago and this is all in the group.
- 31:58Like honestly by the way, I'm going through the comments now
- 31:59trying to find something to tell you but it's all just people
- 32:02thanking you for your work. Yeah, yeah, I did.
- 32:03What I want to say is that we, I generally feel like there is a
- 32:07movement, There is something where we are insha'allah guiding
- 32:13people towards something. That's right.
- 32:15We're giving an alternative to people from, you know, as I said
- 32:19early on in the episode, you know, we are like an alternative
- 32:22to the nonsense on Netflix, for example.
- 32:25But in the reality when, when I get a message, I say, do you
- 32:29know this? And how long we got a message?
- 32:31Someone said they're in hospital and there were suicidal and they
- 32:35were thinking of ending their life.
- 32:38Say, do you remember this? They haven't actually told this
- 32:40no. No, Say he's in a group, maybe
- 32:43you were asleep. I didn't see him And, and, and
- 32:45we, the person was like, I was in hospital and I was going, you
- 32:49know, through different channels.
- 32:50And he came across Edinburgh TV and he came across after Maghrib
- 32:54was playing after Maghrib. And.
- 32:56And he messaged, I don't know if it was a boy or a girl now, but
- 33:00they messaged and they said they explained the situation and they
- 33:03said they're very suicidal. They were thinking of, you know,
- 33:05ending their life. And somehow they came across,
- 33:09they were Shia Muslim at the same time, by the way.
- 33:10And they came across Island Bay TV and they came across the
- 33:13podcast and we were speaking about forgiveness and Muharram.
- 33:17And we were talking about the example of horror.
- 33:20Imagine say it. And because this person said to
- 33:23themselves, you know, I've done so much wrong in my life.
- 33:27You know, I've done so much bad, so many things that I don't
- 33:31think God will ever forgive me. And I think when I get comments
- 33:36like that, and why would I stop this?
- 33:39Why would I leave what I think Allah has blessed me with?
- 33:42And it is a blessing because it's something that keeps me in
- 33:45check. I gain so much, especially when
- 33:48we have amazing, wonderful guests that come on and share
- 33:51their words of wisdom and knowledge and experience and
- 33:55expertise in the discussions that we have.
- 33:56This, this is something I can't get anywhere else.
- 33:59If I go to the mosque, Al Hamdallah, I'm going to learn
- 34:02something about religion. I'm going to mourn or celebrate
- 34:05the Helvet al Ahim Salam. I'm dragging you to the studio
- 34:07every. Week but coming something to do,
- 34:09but coming to the studio every single week and learning
- 34:11something new and reflecting on it and and the conversation can
- 34:15go. Even though sometimes we may
- 34:17have similar discussions, there is so, so much that we haven't
- 34:20discussed. So there is a never end to
- 34:22knowledge and Islamic conversations.
- 34:25You know, the other day someone told me, they called me.
- 34:28What was it? They emailed me actually.
- 34:30And they, and they invited me say, to give lectures.
- 34:34And I was like, I'm not a speaker.
- 34:35They're like, so you think on the podcast I was like, Habibi,
- 34:39I'm just having conversations. They're like here, but you're
- 34:41preaching Islam. I said, no, we're having Islamic
- 34:43discussions. We're having Islamic
- 34:46conversations. And I think, I think it's very
- 34:47important just to make clear, I'm no scholar, man.
- 34:51I I, we learned from you law and we look up to you law and you
- 34:54know, you're the ones that. Inspire us, have the
- 34:56conversations that you guys are having at home.
- 34:58Yeah, which which which is amazing.
- 34:59And this was an actual centre by the way.
- 35:02So if if they're tuning in and benefiting from this, I I think
- 35:08this is this is a last part. I was saying, you know what,
- 35:10you're on the right track, I would say.
- 35:12And just lastly, just very, very lastly, just on this point, I've
- 35:16explored expanded too much, but I would say, no, I don't think
- 35:25I'm going to say it. Shall I say it?
- 35:31Go and say it shall. I say it OK someone told me do I
- 35:37get paid for after my group and I told them I said custom
- 35:43umbrella. I've never until today received
- 35:47a single pound dirhem dollar pence, cent dinar for any show
- 35:55or for any work that we do here. And this is collective.
- 35:58A lot of us put a lot of effort here and we see what's
- 36:01happening. We've seen, you know, the impact
- 36:04it's having. We're seeing an audience that's
- 36:08being built of people who are living in the 21st century
- 36:13facing the challenges that they do.
- 36:15But they see us as a platform and a part of them that helps
- 36:20them every single week to stay in check.
- 36:25I don't know if I should be, you know, thinking about money when
- 36:30these are the first things that can affect me positively
- 36:34spiritually and, you know, help me grow my knowledge together as
- 36:37a community globally. No, I don't think I'm ever going
- 36:41to leave. Even if we never make money.
- 36:43And it's not about monetary, Have we?
- 36:45Have we ever, you know, put money something?
- 36:47No, if we ask for money, it's not because it's coming to us.
- 36:50Well, are they coming to our pockets?
- 36:52I swear by Allah everything. Production goes back into
- 36:55production. It goes straight back into
- 36:56production. While you're talking now,
- 36:58someone's become a monthly partner with After Margaret.
- 37:01Sallah, Muhammad Ali Muhammad, if you're wondering, keeps.
- 37:04Happening more and more. And if you're wondering what is
- 37:06how do you, how do I become a partner?
- 37:08Keep listening because I'm going to touch on that before I end
- 37:10today's episode, OK? Before you move on, a comment to
- 37:14add on to what you're saying is someone commented I've I've I
- 37:17watch aftermarket every time I see you guys post a new episode
- 37:20and you made my choice of becoming a Shia and reverting a
- 37:23lot easier. Thank you.
- 37:24Thanks to you and activate TV. Because of you I'm able to learn
- 37:28any time I I want about our faith.
- 37:31I'm also from Ohio. Ohio so Marshall Lavro Love
- 37:36Salah Hamad Wali Mohammed. So this person you're saying we
- 37:43saw after Mushrab. I'm not going to say me after
- 37:46Mushrab as a whole. I think collectively we've
- 37:49helped them choose the school of albeit this is this is Wallah.
- 37:53This is this is a blessing from the last point of time.
- 37:55It's not us. This is, you know, God is the
- 37:58one who has changed your heart and allowed you to pick the the
- 38:01Saratha Mustaqrim, which is the path of wilaya, no doubt.
- 38:05Look, when you say this right now, I'm thinking to myself,
- 38:08going back to your first point, I ain't leaving enough for now,
- 38:10brother. Why would I?
- 38:13Why would I wonder? We're impacting lives.
- 38:15We're changing lives. Why should we leave?
- 38:18Impossible. Impossible.
- 38:19May Allah bless that individual and inshallah you continue to
- 38:22benefit from the discussions that we have here.
- 38:26Yeah, that's nice. Very nice.
- 38:28Thank you to them. Thanks for sharing that, Zien.
- 38:31Next point, should I go over more comments?
- 38:33Yeah, go Zien. OK, so this is an episode with
- 38:43brother Sadiq Dimani, who loves his books, bless him.
- 38:47And you know, I reached out to Sadiq the other day, maybe two
- 38:50or three weeks back because we tried to have another episode
- 38:53with him. It just didn't work.
- 38:54You know, we plan and our last The Best of planners versus
- 38:58Inshallah. We are those trying to
- 39:01facilitate Part 2 to the discussion they had.
- 39:05And what was nice and unique about Sadek Tammani's discussion
- 39:08was that it's all in everyone's minds, but no one's really
- 39:12discussed it before, right. It's that I've been my 20s I'm
- 39:16lost. What's my direction?
- 39:18What's my goal in life like? What's my head F where should
- 39:21my, you know, my my North Point on the compens be directing
- 39:25towards where? And that was such an important
- 39:27conversation. And this comment said look how
- 39:30close I was to Allah Subhana with Ta'ala and the Ehel Bates.
- 39:35And as my college started everything started to fall.
- 39:38I go into mixed gatherings and I lost my essence of faith.
- 39:42This podcast referring to the episode of brother Sadiq.
- 39:44The money has really helped me and I've taken notes and I'm
- 39:48only 19 and I pray to Allah Spanawatahallah that I get back
- 39:53on track and become God fearing and have a loving spouse and
- 39:57make the best out of this life for this world.
- 39:59And the Archer, how beautiful is that?
- 40:02Like this is the impact the discussions we have.
- 40:05We don't know this is one person that shares this.
- 40:08You know, there are 10s of thousands of streams that happen
- 40:10across Apple and Spotify. People are listening in.
- 40:13This is one example say push the one to everyone watching and
- 40:17listening of the importance of these discussions.
- 40:20So keep you keep listening if you want to become a monthly
- 40:24partner. I'm going to mention more about
- 40:25that towards the end. By the way, that episode is
- 40:28called lost in my 20s and that was episode 105.
- 40:33OK, I, I think we spent a bit too much time on those comments.
- 40:35I wish they went a bit quicker so I can go through some more.
- 40:38But I do want to go through some messages that we get on
- 40:41Aftermath Reb and these came in in particular today someone says
- 40:46as a Shia, as a Shia Muslim living in Dubai, it can be quite
- 40:51lonely. How do you cope feeling like a
- 40:53black sheep? I'm not sure what black sheep
- 40:57means. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 40:58I've never heard that term before.
- 40:59I think in a group of white sheep like you're the one who
- 41:02stands out. I become like, but no, this is
- 41:06the best example. But you feel like you, you, you
- 41:09stand out from the crowd, right? Like you're alone or something.
- 41:11Oh, you're. Different to everyone else.
- 41:13Look, you're on Dubai, go to Mecca and Medina brother.
- 41:17But no, in reality, you can never be alone.
- 41:22You can never truly, truly be alone if you have Allah as they
- 41:25were just Pano wata. And I think loneliness is is
- 41:32it's a property of topic. Let me let me read that all the
- 41:35time. As you're living in the bike, it
- 41:36can be quite lonely. How do you cope with the feeling
- 41:38like a black? Well, look, I'm, I'm going to,
- 41:41I'm going to give you the best answer.
- 41:43You can live anywhere in the world.
- 41:45You can live, I don't know, in, in Mumbai you can live, I don't
- 41:48know, in Kirkuk and Iraq, somewhere you can live, I don't
- 41:52know, on the outskirts of Mississippi.
- 41:55I'm trying to find, I'm trying to show off my geography skills.
- 42:00But wherever you are in the world, be at Dubai or be at
- 42:03London or the Swiss Alps or the Swiss Alps where they say Ahmed
- 42:06was skiing over the last few days.
- 42:11Even if you are in Karbala, even I think if you are in your
- 42:15community here in the UK, in London, like we're blessed
- 42:18Mashallah to have so many centres and community centres
- 42:21and like a huge number of Shia Muslims in particular, everyone
- 42:26can feel a sense of being alone. In particular, if you do feel
- 42:30alone in your case where I think you're trying to speak about
- 42:34spiritual loneliness, where I don't think you are getting your
- 42:38spiritual continuous nourishment of, you know, words of wisdom or
- 42:43inspiration or motivation or knowledge or seeking a helm,
- 42:46etcetera. This is where after backlog
- 42:48comes in. In reality, you know, you have
- 42:52to watch. I think the content we produce
- 42:56and other platforms similar to us, you know, there are many,
- 42:58many out there. I would give some shout outs,
- 43:02but I don't want to leave anyone out.
- 43:04But there is a lot of you know, the digital world is full of so
- 43:08much nonsense, but there's so much good there at the same
- 43:11time. You know, if you tune into, for
- 43:13example, let's say our weekly podcasts, shout out to us our
- 43:19previous Juma nice episodes with the amazing brother Ahmed Ali
- 43:24Okera, who I've always said and will continue to say is an
- 43:27amazing great asset to after Maghrib.
- 43:29You almost cancelled him today. We almost cancelled him.
- 43:32That's why I said inshallah our WhatsApp group never get sleep
- 43:35just. Playing with your mind.
- 43:37Yeah, but my point is, if you're alone or you feel secluded and
- 43:41you want that spiritual nourishment, just turn online.
- 43:44There is so much good, great content out there.
- 43:46I would suggest something else. So if you're in a secluded
- 43:50community where you don't, you think you don't have much people
- 43:53around you? Yeah, you can always start with
- 43:56likeholdingweekly.com mail with you and one of your family
- 43:59members, for example. Yeah.
- 44:02And then you'll find over over over time.
- 44:04It builds right? It builds.
- 44:06You'll meet once who's like you came across at work once and
- 44:10then he'll join you and then he'll find a friend, especially
- 44:13in somewhere like Dubai. In the past year or so, I know
- 44:16at least six or seven people have moved there.
- 44:19And it's, it's, it's a community that you can build wherever you
- 44:22are in the world. You can by, I think why he
- 44:25mentioned Dubai in particular. You know, Dubai doesn't have the
- 44:28best relationship, I think, when it comes to Shia, you know, Shia
- 44:32Muslim activities, right? Yeah, but yeah.
- 44:35But you can always hold private. Stuff, yeah, you can hold things
- 44:38in private and there are a lot of Shia in Dubai.
- 44:41By the way, the UAE is filled with people who are from the
- 44:45school of you know what's crazy? Some of the largest, like top
- 44:49ten businesses in Dubai are Shia.
- 44:50Shia owned. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:52And it's like unbelievable when you find out.
- 44:55Let's let's make sure they're paying their homes and OK, let
- 45:00me go to this one. What?
- 45:03OK, We do not have a similar platform similar to yours.
- 45:06That is for the woman audience. We mentioned a bit early on.
- 45:10This is another reason why we need to start this.
- 45:13And we did say we want to have a sister's podcast exclusive for
- 45:17the sisters. I'm not involved.
- 45:19Ahmed is not involved. And this is just two sisters
- 45:22having similar conversations to what we have, but I think more
- 45:24relatable and approachable to our sisters.
- 45:27And Sha Allah, I think this is something so important.
- 45:31Yeah, I look forward to it. I.
- 45:32Think last year we were on the verge of starting one.
- 45:34We were, and then we had. And then we had issues with the
- 45:37studios, with the studio we were in at the time.
- 45:39So everything had to be on hold. Although we managed to carry on
- 45:41the podcast and we had a presenter ID and everything.
- 45:45Although now I think the ideas have changed and we're we're
- 45:48looking at other presenters possibly.
- 45:51So it's all, it's all in the works and it shall like it
- 45:54happens very soon. Yep, got another message purpose
- 45:58of life and what to do when feeling lost.
- 46:01One of these these questions are they require half an hour
- 46:03answers. If you ask me, the purpose of
- 46:08life is simple, loss is. Subscribed to Aftermath.
- 46:11The purpose of life If you want to live a good life, you
- 46:13subscribe to the podcast or to the aftermath.
- 46:16And you attend the event in January.
- 46:18If you are in London, make sure you attend the event.
- 46:20Yes much about. Tell them, tell them in their
- 46:22face nicely by the way. But if you ask me like what's
- 46:26the purpose of life? The purpose of life is simple.
- 46:30If you are a Muslim, if you are someone who believes in a lost
- 46:35panel or Tahallah, if you are someone who takes Allah as your
- 46:38one true God, he tells us, I think.
- 46:41You're going to say one true love.
- 46:43And one true love? Why not?
- 46:45Why not brother? But your whole purpose of life?
- 46:48But then what about your wife? Allah Tahallah, you finished my
- 46:51fight at last final. I think he says it so
- 46:55beautifully. You know, I did not create you
- 46:59other than what the reason to worship me.
- 47:02I didn't create mankind nor the jinn except that they worship
- 47:05me. And if we worship gods, we know
- 47:09that's what we have to do. We abide by his laws.
- 47:12We we, we listen to what pleases him and say far away from what
- 47:16he tells us to start. Stay away, far away from.
- 47:19That's the purpose of life. Of course you live your life at
- 47:22the same time. I think that's why a lot of
- 47:23people who lose. Purpose and life tend to find
- 47:25Islam. They sense one way you mentioned
- 47:29something very very. Very good it gives you.
- 47:32Purpose because when we see Subhan Allah, the number of
- 47:35reverts and converts that come towards Islam, even Muslims who
- 47:40left Islam one day come back, right?
- 47:43And they tell you know what, I was lost without Allah, I had no
- 47:46meaning in life. I don't know what purpose I'm
- 47:48serving in this dunya. I don't know you know what,
- 47:51where I should be headed. But once you find Islam, once
- 47:54you fall in love with Islam, and once you have Allah in your
- 47:56heart, Allah Mukhala, by the end of the day, once you have God in
- 48:01your heart and you know my purpose is you.
- 48:04You wake up every day. You have a routine.
- 48:08You abide by His laws. Do your daily prayers, you do
- 48:11your RG bags must have, but if we're lucky, have an opportunity
- 48:15to. That's your purpose in life.
- 48:16But what I mean by that, the purpose of this life, it's a
- 48:19bridge for the next life because this life was last temporary.
- 48:23Mushtaq Banos, may Allah bless, bless your grandfather.
- 48:26He originally passed away. I've lost a father.
- 48:28Many of you listening out there. I'm sure you've lost a loved
- 48:30one, be your young age or recently, God forbid.
- 48:34Upcoming. I won't say coming soon.
- 48:36That's the worst thing to say. May Allah, you know, prolong the
- 48:39lives of your loved ones. But this is reality of life.
- 48:42Voila, we're going to die. And the true purpose of life is
- 48:45Acura. We work for it in this world.
- 48:47And Inshallah, as my daughter says, is gender Infinity.
- 48:51Yes, paradise is infinite. And Inshallah we have the
- 48:54blessings of being there. Can I do one more?
- 48:59One more? Keep it short, please.
- 49:00Keep it short. Yeah.
- 49:05Oh my God, There's a lot. Now there is a lot.
- 49:08OK. Instagram suddenly started
- 49:09working. Yeah, it was working sayings.
- 49:12Should we make a party, Please do some more content aimed at 12
- 49:17plus children and teen years. They need guidance.
- 49:20I so agree. I so agree that we need content
- 49:24like this, but I don't know if we're the right outlet for it.
- 49:27But I think something that we can look into possibly, maybe we
- 49:31can work with people who are experts in this field and
- 49:34create. Someone commented one saying I
- 49:37enjoy episodes that you put that I can put on the car for my kids
- 49:41to listen on the way to school. I remember this but not all
- 49:43episodes I can do that with. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:46That's very true. I remember.
- 49:47That so maybe we can hopefully one day find someone who's who
- 49:51can talk well to children, who can do regular episodes for
- 49:54children. Sharla, Sharla, we'll look into
- 49:58it. Sisters podcast, a children
- 50:00segment. It's.
- 50:02Too much in our play. Already too much going on,
- 50:03right? But more importantly, we can't
- 50:06do any of this. Look, I, I, I promise you we
- 50:09can't do any of this without your support and your do ours
- 50:13and your financial contribution. I did say if you were listening
- 50:16to all that honestly. We we've even taken out the
- 50:18studio and if he's a really loud, we don't know if we can
- 50:20afford to stay there for how long.
- 50:22At the moment I said which number says we've taken the
- 50:25lease and we believe. That with with the work that we
- 50:28can produce there, that people in Shallah support us.
- 50:31Law and Shallah Wallah Wallah say this look, if if you enjoy
- 50:35our content, if you benefit from our content, if you find value
- 50:41in our content, if you support our journey, support our
- 50:44mission, find goods in the work that we do and would love for it
- 50:50to grow and benefit other people and for us to continue doing so.
- 50:55We need a bit more than your duas Volla hella.
- 50:57Then we need of course, we put our trust in Allah.
- 50:59So panel what's the Allah? He's the best of planners and he
- 51:02looks after us. But you are that Wasila that
- 51:05will help us continue inshallah in the way of the last one of
- 51:08what's the Allah. You can become a monthly
- 51:09partner. You can pay a pound, you can pay

- 51:24having coffee, I know a lot of people stop coffee because of
- 51:26the genocide. So what you spending your money,
- 51:29brothers, sisters, where you spending?
- 51:31You know you know your coffee money, but please, please,
- 51:34please, if you can become a monthly partner, you don't have
- 51:37to be a partner you. Don't need that blueberry matcha
- 51:39in the morning. Exactly, but as much as you can

- 51:45months, 12 months, one year or lifetime.

- 52:58Of course we'll remember you. Don't forget us and God won't
- 53:03forget you. Or you can make a one of
- 53:05donation. But more importantly, if you are
- 53:08in London on Saturday the 11th of January, if you are in the
- 53:12UK, perhaps you're up north or you're in Manchester, you're in
- 53:15Leeds, you're in Birmingham. We don't saw father, No.
- 53:18Somewhere in Brighton, somewhere in Wales, Newquay, Devon was
- 53:21saying the right eurography. Yeah, OK.
- 53:25You've got Bradford. Bradford Bradford's a big one,
- 53:28but if you are in the UK, especially, in particular you
- 53:30are in London on Saturday the 11th of January, we are having
- 53:35our. First of the annual.
- 53:38Our first of the annual say you've got too much fresh hello.
- 53:41This happened every year. Inshallah you never know.
- 53:44But we are having our first ever official live after Maghrib
- 53:48event where we are going to be having numerous discussion
- 53:51panels, a live podcast. There's going to be some great
- 53:55spoken poetry, amazing recitations.
- 53:58We're going to have I think test our talks.
- 54:00If I'm not mistaken, we're going to have molid clapping
- 54:04celebration. There's going to be an
- 54:05opportunity to explore Muslim stalls there on the day.
- 54:08At the same time, network and meet like minded individuals
- 54:12like yourselves, like your friends and of course, like say,
- 54:14wish them behind the scenes. And at the same time and meet
- 54:17all the amazing speakers we're going to have who want Sharla
- 54:19going to share a lot of wisdom and a lot of knowledge and a lot
- 54:23of expertise in the field when it comes to the topic of
- 54:26discussion. The best thing about the event
- 54:28is you're going to, it's going to be all the people who take
- 54:31part in projects like this in one place.
- 54:33Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're gonna meet all those
- 54:35favorite people you see day-to-day on social media on
- 54:39the one roof. Amazing.
- 54:42It's amazing. Yeah, you said it nicely.
- 54:44And of course, a lot of our guests I think have featured on
- 54:47the podcast before, so you'll get the opportunity to meet them
- 54:50in person and speak about. And a lot of the people who have
- 54:53come on the podcast will be there attending as well, so even
- 54:56if they're not on the guest list, you'll still get to meet.
- 54:58Them sense so the majority of our guests that live here in
- 55:02London will be there in Charlotte on the day and you
- 55:05have an opportunity to meet them and greet them and take a selfie
- 55:09we hope. The likes of Abdullah Naheb and
- 55:12Ahmed Siddiq can also make. It you never know.
- 55:14You never know, say Abdullah Naheb, a gem.
- 55:17A gem unlike any other brother. Ahmad Sadiq Mullah Ahmad Sadiq
- 55:21Shah. Ahmad Sadiq.
- 55:23He's he's something else as well.
- 55:25We've had two episodes with him. I can't wait for episode 3
- 55:28because when you speak to him, you're in the seven heavens.
- 55:31So there's a lot we don't want to miss out on that day,
- 55:33inshallah. OK.
- 55:34And you can all do this by going on www.aftermaghred.com/book.
- 55:40There's an option, adult tickets, there's an option
- 55:42students where you get, of course, you pay a different
- 55:45price and then also the youth you pay much, much less.
- 55:48However, for everyone, there is also the option to have 20% of
- 55:51your tickets. Just use the code AM family and
- 55:56AM family and Charlotte, we'll see you there.
- 55:57I want to see you there. Be there so that we can talk, we
- 56:01can interact, we can network and grow together.
- 56:03Be an Allahu Assalamu alaikum or Ahmed Allahi or Barakatu.
- 56:08On behalf of me and my Co host Ahmed, much love.
- 56:13Yeah, Ali Madad.
