- 0:00Speaker 1: Have you ever broken your finger in the middle of
- 0:01Speaker 1: a pillow fight?
- 0:03Speaker 2: No, not quite.
- 0:04Speaker 3: I'm reading some comments on a friend of mine's Facebook page.
- 0:07Speaker 3: It's Light FM, Cubby, Christine, Producer Kristen. And he posted,
- 0:10Speaker 3: what's the dumbest injury you've ever given yourself? And somebody
- 0:15Speaker 3: said they broke their finger during a pillow fight. And
- 0:17Speaker 3: I'm reading the comments, and they are so funny.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:21Speaker 3: This one I can kind of relate to. It says,
- 0:24Speaker 3: I hiccup so hard I broke a rib. Two weeks later,
- 0:28Speaker 3: I sneezed so hard I broke another.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I've done that.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I have sneezed so hard where I thought a rib
- 0:33Speaker 3: was broken, but it ended up being a muscle.
- 0:36Speaker 1: But I thought the pain was so bad. It's incredible.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I was like, it has to be a rib broken.
- 0:41Speaker 3: It ended up being just a really tight muscle. Everything
- 0:43Speaker 3: tightened up after that. I was holding my breath to
- 0:46Speaker 3: try to get rid of hiccups and passed out. Smashing
- 0:49Speaker 3: my head on the open dishwasher door.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I pinched a nerve scooping the litter box.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Then laid on the floor for two hours with my
- 0:58Speaker 3: face six inches away from the box until a roommate
- 1:01Speaker 3: got home and held me up.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Oh, that's awful.
- 1:04Speaker 3: These are random comments. What's the dumbest injury you've ever
- 1:07Speaker 3: given yourself? Last winter, I went for a run and
- 1:10Speaker 3: I was so focused on looking for icy spots that
- 1:13Speaker 3: I slipped on a banana peel.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I scratched my eyeball putting on safety glasses. Oh, ouch.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Once again, I sneezed and pulled my back out and
- 1:25Speaker 3: pooped my pants at the same time.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Hard to ask for help at that point.
- 1:29Speaker 1: What are you going to do there? So, I mean,
- 1:31Speaker 1: you have to have a story, Christine. I thought of
- 1:33Speaker 1: you as a litter box.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The door without banging into the frame do you know
- 1:38Speaker 2: what i mean like crazy stuff like a couple years
- 1:40Speaker 2: ago yeah i had sandals on and.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You banged your toe oh.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Oh really bad oh there was blood it was it
- 1:46Speaker 2: was bad i think the door kind of closed it
- 1:49Speaker 2: started to close it was like the one day i
- 1:51Speaker 2: was wearing open toe shoes too in the summertime oh
- 1:55Speaker 2: i don't usually do that i've done so many goofy
- 1:57Speaker 2: things kevi i'm thinking like because one person said they
- 2:00Speaker 2: broke their finger Pillow fight?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Having a pillow fight.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I was trying to squeeze out the last bit of
- 2:05Speaker 2: toothpaste from a tube. And I squeezed so hard, I
- 2:09Speaker 2: dislocated my thumb. Don't. It's not worth it. Just let
- 2:12Speaker 2: it go.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Not worth it. You were like, I know there's one
- 2:15Speaker 1: more pinch of toothpaste left. Yeah, come on.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And then I was like, uh-oh. Now I can't bend
- 2:19Speaker 2: my thumb. But I did. I was able to go,
- 2:21Speaker 2: you know, kind of like get it back. But no,
- 2:23Speaker 2: not worth it.
- 2:24Speaker 1: That gives me the willies, by the way. Honestly, like, can't.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Walk down the street. I'm the person who trips over stuff.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Or over nothing. You know when you just walk and
- 2:33Speaker 2: you trip and you're like, why did that even, what
- 2:36Speaker 2: was that?
- 2:37Speaker 1: That's just lack of sleep, man. We need more sleep.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I put the headphones on sometimes and I go, like,
- 2:42Speaker 2: hit myself in the face rather than, they don't quite
- 2:44Speaker 2: make it to my ears. Right. You know, just, ow.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So it happens more than we think with you, especially.
- 2:50Speaker 2: On the daily, maybe hourly.
