- 0:00Happy Wednesday morning everybody.
- 0:04I am up at 5:30 AMI have no idea why but here I am in all my
- 0:13glory. Remember now I-55 Federated Auto
- 0:20Parts Raceway Park, March 19th, 2020.
- 0:24First, it's a Mods Gone wild $5000 to win.
- 0:31All right, deep breath everybody.
- 0:35This is going to be a tough one, but I'm up for the challenge.
- 0:41Natalie Decker and all the ladies.
- 0:46I've been challenged and I said I got this, I can do it, no
- 0:50problem. Before we talk about the lady
- 0:54racers, I want you all to know that I am a girl dad.
- 0:59I have three wonderful, smart, intelligent daughters.
- 1:03Brooke, who is a dental hygienist, Brandy who's a
- 1:08cosmetologist, and my youngest 1.
- 1:11Brittany who works for Lowe's Home Improvement.
- 1:14Of course, I'm married to my beautiful wife Kim.
- 1:17I met Kim in high school. We've been married all my years.
- 1:25OK, first thing, the top two lady racers in America.
- 1:34No doubt in my mind, the fastest two lady racers #1 Jade
- 1:41Adodesian. I've watched Jade and open wheel
- 1:44midgets. I've had her on Kenny
- 1:46conversation. Go check it out.
- 1:50Go over there to Kenny Wallace YouTube Jade Evanesian great
- 1:54interview with her number two. No doubt in my mind, Kaylee
- 1:59Bryson. I've had her on Kenny
- 2:02conversation. Kaylee is the unsung really fast
- 2:07one out of all of them. She runs sports cars, she's
- 2:12raced the Sprint cars on asphalt.
- 2:16She knows what it's like to go real fast, pulling a lot of GS,
- 2:19and she wins. Now, there's a lot of other
- 2:23great lady racers, you know, they're all out there, but those
- 2:28are the two that I know are winners and they're fast.
- 2:33I've interviewed a lot of the ladies on Kenny Conversation,
- 2:37Danica Patrick, Hayley Deegan, Natalie Decker, Jay Davidisian
- 2:45and of course, Kaylee Bryson. So I guess she could say I'm a
- 2:49girl dad. I've interviewed all the ladies
- 2:52and I have a heart that's important.
- 2:55Sometimes I'm like a diamond. I'm a little rough around the
- 2:58edges, but I mean well, OK, let's go at it.
- 3:05The Natalie Decker drama from my point of view.
- 3:11I've told you all forever that I watch, I read, and then I talk
- 3:16about it. So I've watched all this drama
- 3:19go on and Natalie Decker, from my point of view, this is been
- 3:26like a snowball effect. She does 1 little thing and it
- 3:30just starts getting bigger and bigger and I'm like whoa, time
- 3:34out everybody, time out. Let me tell you the whole
- 3:39Natalie Decker deal, the way it went down.
- 3:41I'm going to tell you the storyline.
- 3:44I'm going to tell you the storyline.
- 3:49I met Natalie Decker, I think in Marshalltown, Wisconsin, the
- 3:55Dick Trickle 99. It was 333 lappers and when I do
- 4:01Kenny conversation with Natalie, we talk about it.
- 4:04What I remember was I was trying to pass Natalie Decker up there
- 4:09at Marshalltown and I think that's where it was.
- 4:13Respond right here if I don't got it right.
- 4:16I won one of the 33 lappers though.
- 4:20That's important for me to tell you.
- 4:23OK, so I'm, I'm behind Natalie and I'm like, I don't know, it's
- 4:26a girl. And I'm like, man, this person
- 4:29is loose coming off at turn 2 and she was driving the heck out
- 4:32of it. Loose, loose and finally got by
- 4:35or got up underneath and come to find out it was Natalie, little
- 4:39bitty old girl. Well, I met her.
- 4:44I met her mom, I met her dad and wonderful people.
- 4:48So that was, I don't know, 10 years ago.
- 4:52Now let's Fast forward. That's what I know about her.
- 4:56I know she can drive a race car. I know Natalie Decker last year
- 5:01finished like top 15 maybe in the July race at Daytona.
- 5:08So as far as her wrecking out of all the Daytona races, yeah, she
- 5:13she might have wrecked, but not all of them.
- 5:16Google it. Let me know.
- 5:17Where did Natalie Decker finish last year?
- 5:20I think it was the July race. OK, let's follow this storyline.
- 5:27Let's follow the bouncing ball. She gets all her own sponsors.
- 5:32She cannot race all the time because she's funding all this
- 5:37herself. So this this lady, this young
- 5:40lady is funding all this herself.
- 5:43So she cannot race every week. So she's got a sponsor and she
- 5:49goes down to Daytona. She's excited.
- 5:52She's got her husband, she's got her baby.
- 5:55That is important. What other lady racer has a
- 5:58baby? None of them.
- 6:02Natalie Decker is the only lady racer with a baby.
- 6:06She's still just trying to race. She takes her baby with her
- 6:09everywhere she goes. I follow her on Instagram, just
- 6:13like I follow Jade Avidizian, Taylor Rhymer, Kaylee Bryce, and
- 6:18I follow them all. So she goes to Daytona.
- 6:24She's got this sponsor and she's trying to promote it.
- 6:26So she goes on one of these morning talk shows.
- 6:29I believe it's radio, it could be TV.
- 6:32Respond right here. So she gets matched up with this
- 6:37comedian that is known for taking his shirt off.
- 6:43So to my surprise, Natalie takes her fire suit, her top down and
- 6:53there she is in in her bikini top.
- 6:56Now it was shocking, but if it would have been October and
- 7:02Ladies breast cancer awareness month, she got away with it with
- 7:06no problem. So that's that's number one.
- 7:10OK, she she's promoting her sponsor.
- 7:13She sees no harm in this because she's with a comedian.
- 7:18That part of his skit is no shirt on.
- 7:22And you can clearly tell they're having a lot of fun.
- 7:25But I will admit, it made me go, whoa.
- 7:29So all right, no drama. Like I said, if it would have
- 7:33been October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she had got
- 7:36away with it. All right, now let's get into
- 7:39the race, number one. Number two, I mean, number one
- 7:44was, you know, the morning talk show #2 she makes the race that
- 7:49that's big right there. She makes the race #3 she's
- 7:55minding her own business. She wants to 1st finish so she
- 8:01can finish first, right? So she's running towards the
- 8:05back, letting them all wreck, and then she's going to attack
- 8:09at the end. That's what Natalie does.
- 8:11She wants to finish because the teams that she's with, they're
- 8:15not the big teams. They're good little teams, but
- 8:17they're not big teams. So she's running along in this
- 8:22race and she's doing her own deal back there.
- 8:25And they have a catastrophic huge wreck up there.
- 8:29And her spotter is clearly saying, come on, stay high, stay
- 8:32high. And Sam Mayer is on the bottom
- 8:36and he's going along after he gets done wrecking and he's just
- 8:41running the bottom now he has, he can't see because the hood's
- 8:45up on the windshield. She gets right to the wreck and
- 8:49she's doing fine. And Sam Mayer, because he's
- 8:53wrecked up, he turns a dead right, not a little bit of a
- 8:57right, like whoa, like he's just going along and and he runs into
- 9:02her. She didn't run into him because
- 9:06she's in her lane and Sam Merritt runs right into her.
- 9:12Devastates this girl. This is devastating to Natalie
- 9:16because she doesn't get to race all the time and she put all
- 9:19this sponsorship work together. So she gets on her radio and she
- 9:27cusses up a firestorm. Now, I don't know about you, but
- 9:31if you have ever met Danica Patrick or Hayley Deegan or any
- 9:36of these girls, most of them are like my Mama said, dynamite
- 9:42comes in small packages. Natalie's a a little lady, but
- 9:47boy, she, she cussed up and down.
- 9:50And it's sad to say, but when you're on these radios, you
- 9:54think you're doing all this yourself.
- 9:56Come to find out all the reporters, all they just, they
- 10:00just ate it up. They reported how she MF and she
- 10:04was upset about the wreck. That's number three.
- 10:10Now she gets to the infield care center and she does a great job.
- 10:14She composes herself, she's got her collar up and she wants to
- 10:19thank her sponsor. She's it's a bummer.
- 10:22She's highly disappointed. End of story.
- 10:28End of story. Until Monday after the Daytona
- 10:36500. And everybody gets a hold of it
- 10:39and they just like, like a dog getting a hold of a rat just
- 10:49shook this Natalie Decker apart. Just trying to destroy her.
- 10:57And I'm like, this is unreal. This is devastating.
- 11:01So they all just start piling on, piling on, piling on.
- 11:06Natalie, you're going to watch this.
- 11:10As my Mama would say, this too shall soon pass.
- 11:16Dust it off. Dust it off and go to Pocono,
- 11:19your next sponsored race. Because I remember racing you at
- 11:24Marshalltown and I remember you running, what, 15th, something
- 11:29like that at Daytona. Shame on all of you.
- 11:36You know that's a human being, right?
- 11:38And you know, when she was on her radio, she wasn't talking to
- 11:40you. She was just talking to her
- 11:42team. And as far as her pulling her
- 11:45fire suit now, and I'm sure if she had to take it back, she
- 11:48would. But like I said, if it would
- 11:50have been October, Breast Cancer awareness Month, it had been
- 11:53just fine. And she was with a comedian, and
- 11:56that's what his act was. All right, everybody have a
- 12:04great Wednesday.
