- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Oh hey there.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: I'm Carly, Human Design Medium, and your guide for this podcast.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: This is Human Design IRL, where we talk to my favorite women in the world about how their human design shows up in their real lives.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: So you have actual examples as you're learning about how your design might show up in yours.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Here's a clip from today's episode.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: When we're eating, I give him multiple different spoons and I'll put whatever on it and he just he'll let me feed him, but I don't.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: He'll just take the spoons, he'll feed, he'll suck on it, he knows what he wants, he'll grab something else, he knows exactly like I want my vegetables now.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: He does things in a certain order.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: He just he's funny.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: He's a funny kid.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: My God, now I'm like looking at all his charts.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I think it's so so would you say, I'm about to just lose my shit.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Would you say that he does what he wants?
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: He tells you about it, and then you help him do it in a way that's more efficient if you see a possibility.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: God damn it.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Before we start the episode, I want to remind you that we talk about specific channels, gates, incarnation crosses, all the stuff in every episode.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So if you want to grab your chart, now is the time, or head to my website, human designmedium.com backslash design.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: There's a free calculator on there.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: You're welcome to use.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: All right, here we go.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Hi, I'm Carly Arbuckle, Human Design Medium, and this is the Human Design IRL Podcast.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Welcome back.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: I just separated that podcast.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I like to pretend I'm on NPR.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: I'm here today with one of my oldest friends, Kelly Donahue, who is Cal, when did we I can't even say the screen?
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it had to be.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Kelly is one of the coolest people I know.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: She's always been her own person in our French class.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Our French teacher used to call her Madame Bijou because she had all of her rings and jewelry.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: She still does, but it was like every finger back back when, right?
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: It's close to now.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Well, I feel like it was more in like intense armor.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Back back when we were, I mean, and God bless us in seventh grade, my god.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: So Cal is a one-three projector, and I haven't had many projectors on yet, so I'm excited to talk to you about what your life feels like as a one-three projector.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: She's got a spleen, a heart, and slash ego, ego center defined, and a G-center defined.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: So without further ado, I'm gonna read what Cal has here, which is she's a new mom, which is very exciting.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: I associate her with just loving the nature, which is very projectory, by the way.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Being out in the element, like connected to the earth because we don't have that many defined energy centers.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: And so allowing that sort of, you know, centering earth energy to move through us, I think is a I think it's a projector thing.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: If it's not, I'm saying it is.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: She travels, she's a gr oh my God, she's such I've followed her and her dogs for so long.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Kel, how would you introduce yourself?
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, I don't know.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: That's a good summary.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: I'm a new mom.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: I love being a mom.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Very excited to be a new mom.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: I love traveling.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: I love being outdoors.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: I am happiest and most at peace outdoors.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, there's like the boring stuff.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Went to school, got some degrees.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Like a Ph M F N D.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: That's a hard girl.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: That's a dissertation.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: That's a you're very smart.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Kelly's very smart.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Well, on paper.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Oh my God.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: I've enjoyed all of the things so far, but I really love travel.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: I love being with my family.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I took my dogs on a huge road trip for about five years until I got pregnant.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what I'm thinking about.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Traveled all around the country with them, lived in a bunch of different states during it.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It was a lot of fun.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: My puppies have since passed, but I feel like we had a really good life exploring all the things.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Actually, as you said that, I saw a blue light flash.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Like the remember those Christmas lights?
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: It's my Cyrus, yeah.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: I forgot about that.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: That we've had so many.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: That's something we can talk about.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, if that's showing up right now.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Showing up on the anniversary of him passing.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: I wonder if mediumship with pets is part of what we're supposed to be talking about.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: I've done a lot just to give the people a backstory.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: We've I've channeled your pets a lot, Bella and Cyrus, who are sole animals for Kelly when I was practicing, it was years ago when I was like practicing mediumship.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: I was not a fully I was, but you know, I was still asking my friends to help me out to sit for me.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: But they've come through a lot since then.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And Bella, especially supporting you as your son, I'm not gonna put his name out there, was in your tummy tum.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: She my girl.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Always there.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: And yeah, Cyrus, I kind of feel like my son's a little bit of Cyrus implied.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: They're very a lot of similarities.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, so Cyrus was a husky, though, right?
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but he was like the chillest, happiest, like exuded joy.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: And my son's very much like that.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know, there's like a certain mischievousness to both of them.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: My son's very much his own person, but it's just kind of he's a manifestor.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Yes, very much his own person.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: We joke sometimes because we're just like, um, he's very much Cyrus.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, what's interesting to me is so I don't know how much I've talked to you about manifestors, but they are like the I mean, if I were to give them a dog breed, it that Malamute, Husky, like that sort of lone but needs a pack to survive kind of a thing.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: That's very manifestor vibes.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: It's sort of like wolves.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: There's a term lone wolf for a reason, and manifesters, especially, when they get excited about something, they feel like they can they have all the energy in the world to do it, but they will plan ahead like four or five steps.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: And once they get it there, it doesn't keep going unless they've informed people about what's going on.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Um yeah.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Has that shown up for you with your baby?
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, maybe he when he like he's determined.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, determined.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: He's seven and a half months now, which is crazy.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: And it's so funny.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: He's very food motivated, which again makes us laugh and thinks he's like Cyrus, because Cyrus would do anything for food.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: If I have like yogurt or something, I'll set it on the far end of the mat and he will just immediately, whatever he's doing, stop, get up, crawl to it.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: And when he was learning how to crawl, nothing would stop him from getting there.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Even if he had to take a little break, he'd like belly flop and then he'd get right back up and he would go, nothing crossed this kid.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: His eyes are on it, he's gonna do it.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: So it's been that's been really cool to see.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: He's not, there's not like a lazy bone in his body.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: He knows what he wants to do and he goes after it.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: And he's extremely good at communicating, obviously without words.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: But he's picking up words really well.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: I can just I know exactly what he wants when he wants it.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: And it I can hear it.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: Like I can be in this room with you right now talking, and I can hear if he makes a sound, I know exactly what he wants.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Like he has different sounds for everything.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: He knows if I'm like, Do you want a bottle?
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: He'll just immediately go, whoo! And then he gets fixated on it till he gets that's amazing, totally fine.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: So I don't know, it's just maybe all babies are like that, but it's just a fun little person thing.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: No, they're not.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: And actually, what strikes me as you're saying that, because I'm looking at Baby Boy's chart, and he is a very defined manifester.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, manifestors are usually like us, they're usually not very colored in, but he's got every center colored in except for his sacral, which is the center that generators have that allows them to sustain their own energy.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: But he has, he's a very specific person and he's very consistent in who he is.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So what you're saying, it's so interesting to me to hear this because I wonder if kids present in the way that is truly like they're just following what they know is right for them.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: Because he is informing and initiating.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: And I wonder if that's just conditioned out of us.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Probably, right?
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: I try to make sure that I don't impart too much of my ways of doing things or anything on him.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: Like I just let him do his thing, like free play, free eating, free whatever.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: And he'll he does.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: He just takes charge and does whatever feels best to him.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: So, like when we're eating, I give him multiple different spoons and I'll put whatever on it.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: And he just, he'll let me feed him, but I don't.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: He'll just take the spoons, he'll feed, he'll suck on it.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: He knows what he wants, he'll grab something else.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: He knows exactly like I want my vegetables now.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: He does things in a certain order.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: He just he's funny, he's a funny kid.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: My god, now I'm like looking at all his charts.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: I think it's so so.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Would you say, I'm about to just lose my shit.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Would you say that he does what he wants?
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: He tells you about it, and then you help him do it in a way that's more efficient if you see a possibility.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: God damn it, that is so like that's like projector mom, manifestor kid, literally in your roles.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: And what you're doing is so beautiful in the way you just said that is you're waiting for the invitation from him.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Because if you show up before that and you try to show him how to do it, he's not gonna hear you because that's the projector thing, right?
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: We we can see more efficient ways to do things, but what you're doing is waiting, like intentionally, waiting for him to seek your help.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: And I don't know that I do that anywhere else in life.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: It was like an untapped part of me until I became a mom.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: That's cool.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: That is so wild because it's just so like raw.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: You even said when we got on, you were just like, oh, you're very like Yes, so zen.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: That's what motherhood has brought out.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: It's been such a joy to just observe my son, and and I'm there to help if he needs it, but I just really follow his lead on that.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: And I get to follow his lead because he's leading things.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: He's doing what he wants, he knows what he wants, but he's been like this from day one, really.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: He's a very specific energy.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: He's also a quad left when it comes to his variables, when it comes to his arrows.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: So, do you see these left arrows?
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: So he he likes schedule, he likes routine, he's analytical, he likes routine, he likes things like regular meals.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: This says that he likes to go from small, meticulous details to building up, whereas you're more big picture.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Um, and the lower right arrow is the popular way to look at it is that it's what kind of manifester you are.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: Everybody can, okay, so let's talk about this.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Everybody can manifest, not everybody is a manifestor.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Manifestors in human design, it comes from having a motor center connected to your throat.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: So they're making things happen by bringing them into the world, by speaking them into the world.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Um but everybody can work with the universe to create what they want.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: That's manifestation, if that makes sense.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Yours is non-specific.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: So you give God a paintbrush and colors and a theme and a feel and let it go and then move forward.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: So things like vision boards for you aren't gonna be as probably are more challenging, but also are just not the way that you're meant to you feel into things more.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: It's more about manifesting the feeling than it is the actual object.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Does that resonate with you?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And I think too, just in general and even in my career and everything, I do best just, you know, big picture thinking I can get the right people in the room.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: I know exactly the pieces that need to fit together, and then I move on to the next thing.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: I just love Yeah.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: They can, once I get everything together, I'm I'm done, and then I move on.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: Well, you're a guide.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: So talk about that.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: So baby, he's a quad left, which means that he would be very upset in the way that he looks at things, he'd be very analytical in the way that he looks at things, which is not necessarily how you do it, but you are also a built-in as a guide.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: And that's what you're talking about in your career.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And it sounds like have you been, have you felt pretty successful in your career so far?
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Because that's our sign of alignment.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I have, I have been, and there's a lot going on in my career right now, too, which is expanding quite a bit, which I feel very grateful for.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: It's also a little bit in conflict with where my heart's at right now, but yeah, that's what I'm what I've been doing and what I've been brought in to do is I I lead and I guide and I come in with bigger picture strategies and things like that.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: And I get the right people in the room to execute it.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: I empower them to be able to do that.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: I feel like most of my job is empowering and guiding once we think through things, and then I just I let the team do what they need to do.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: I don't like them manage at all.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: What and what vertical are you ends up?
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: Give people a picture of what you do so they could follow along.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: I work in media in a very conventional way, think streaming, yeah, television, live events, things like that.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: So projectors as a whole are meant to have a bird's eye view and when we are invited, can give perspective that is time-saving and helpful and improves a process.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Does that resonate?
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what my job is.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Which is why you feel successful.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: And it's funny because I wasn't always in this role, right?
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: Like I used to, when I got my PhDs in, I used to work in that industry, which was the oil and gas industry.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: And it was Geology was what you yeah.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Yes, geology.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: And it was such a lone wolf type role, which is just not my vibe at all.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And I just remember thinking I would go into work.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: It's almost like I have to put another mask on, put a different face on, put a different body on.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: This is not, this doesn't resonate with me at all.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: And it's not anything about where I worked or the work that I did or the people that I worked with.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: All of that was great.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: I just, it did not, I just knew that I wasn't doing what I like to do.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: And then I got put into this new temporary role at the oil and gas company.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: And it was more of helping, putting process in place, putting strategy in place, getting the right people in the room, helping build things.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: And that's why I ended up ultimately leaving was I knew that I wanted to do that at a different scale.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: And I don't know that I would have been able to continue to do that at the previous company.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: And so I got very lucky getting the job that I have now and kind of maneuvering my way through.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And I think the role I'm in right now is literally just the best job I've ever had.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: I really, really love it.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: And it's meeting all of my, I don't know.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're feeling successful.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: That's I think most people, maybe we should define what success feels like for projectors.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: I think most people would define that probably financially or in terms of a title.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: But what makes you feel like you're successful just in life?
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: In my career, in my job, I feel successful when you think about the things that you like to do or that you're naturally good at, right?
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: Like you think about those Venn diagrams of I'm really good at these things, and my job requires me to do these things and when those overlap.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: That feels successful to me.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: And I get to do that now.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: I get to, I have an incredibly strong and capable team.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: When I'm managing them, I'm more empowering them to come into their voice, to trust their gut, to pull the team that they need together.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: So there's that helping, guiding portion with my team.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: So that feels successful to me when I've given feedback or we've been working on some skill sets or capabilities or whatever for them.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: And then they get on this whole new project and it that becomes successful.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: That feels good and successful to me.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Being able to say, hey, the way things are going and the way things, the way we've been doing things is just it's not very efficient.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Here's what we can do to change it.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Here's my plan, here's the data to support it at its base level.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Once a data scientist, always a data scientist.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: Well, you're a one-line too.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: So that's that's data centric.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: So everything that I do has data to back it up when I'm putting a new process in place.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: And then leadership listens and we put it in place and it ends up helping everybody on the team and we get work done faster.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: And a lot of what I do goes around quality.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: That feels successful.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: It's not, oh, I have I got a raise or I got a promotion, which is going to be, which obviously feels great.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: It is right on paper.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: I know what you're talking about though.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: But I feel successful every day, every week, versus at bonus time, at promotion time, at like, oh, I've entered into our 20-year high school reunion and say, oh, I have this career, whatever.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: That's not how I define success.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I go into work every day and I can tap into guiding or putting the process in place and having data to support it.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, yeah.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: I mean first of all, I'm gonna tell you.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: So I the only projector I think I've aired so far, her name is Nicole.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: She's my spiritual bestie.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: She's a one-three projector, and you should listen to her episode because she's a one-three projector, and literally she's a systems processing engineer, is what she calls it, or that's what she did.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: But when she's she talks about data the way that you do, bunch of nerds, bunch of one lines.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: But what I so much that I heard in that that I want to point out for people because this is just such a good example.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Success in general, I think as a human design clinician, as someone who studies this system, it would be for projectors feeling seen and valued, and seen in terms of their capability to be insightful and recognized, recognized for what you know you bring to the table.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And what we bring to the table tends to be, I feel it as like this deep sense of wanting to help people and wanting to help make things better.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: And when we feel bitter, which is our sign of not-self, usually it's because we've volunteered that information and no one has taken us up on it, or we feel like we see something so clearly that the people around us just won't listen to.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: And it's because they can't if they haven't invited it, you know, but I hear that definition in what you're talking about.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: It's about have people seen my insight?
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Is my insight making an impact on efficiency, on flow, on making things better?
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: Because that is what it's like, it's specifically about being able to see what you know, what you've what's in your mind, making a difference for the people around you.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: And it's why I very much, and I think you know this, was not a huge, I was not, I did not feel successful or good in my previous role, right?
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Not the oil gas, but the one previous to this one.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: And I was telling you, and I remember we were, we would walk a lot, especially when I was pregnant and waddling.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: And in nature, because projectors.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna I'm gonna lay on that.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: I think I think that the more open centers you have, I think nature feels good because nature feels great to reflectors.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: Nature is everything.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: Like if I need a reset, I go outside and I look at the trees.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Like, and I am most at peace and most happy when I'm outside.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: And really, I love the mountains, love the mountains, I love all the things.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: Being amongst the trees is just yeah.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: We'll get into it.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: But tell me, tell me, so you were you were very much in a generator capacity of doing in this in this first position.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I remember when I got the role that I'm in now, I remember talking to you about it, and I think you pulled a card for me that morning, and I switched my question in my head last minute, and the card knew.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: And it was like, whatever it was, when you were saying it to me, I'm like, Are you kidding me?
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: Like an out of my head universe.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it was just like, you cannot lead this team the way that you led the last one.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it stuck with me so.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: So much because not only did I need to cut my baggage and come into this role, which is hard to do, like you've got baggage, but it was just so on point.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: And I think about that moment a lot when maybe my confidence is a little, you know, uh shaken, or maybe I'm feeling a little bit of imposter syndrome, and I fall back into these ways.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: I'm not feeling as empowered, I'm not feeling as successful day to day.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: And then I'm like, you can't do that.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: You can't fall back into what was.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Remember what your strengths are and what that feels like and why you were brought into this space, and then that's helped me regroup and reframe a bit.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, that's awesome.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: And I always, I I rarely use cards, but also the way that I use cards is to validate.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: It's never to give a message.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: It's never to the angels won't give instructions.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: That's that's overriding your free will.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: But what a cool, and I think because you did it in your head and I couldn't possibly know you did it in your head.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Like that is spirit showing up in all the ways.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: And we were probably just in a very open place too.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: And you know, we were in old school forest preserve, and I had asked, I got I had cards with me in the forest.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Well, we were at the car like before we were going.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: But I you having cards in the forest also feels a little on brand.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: But what I said to you, yeah.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what I said to you out loud was different than my first thought.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: I remember exactly where we were.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Yep, I remember.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: Because in my head, I was like, oh my God, how is this new role gonna go?
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: How am I gonna be in this new role?
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: And what I said to you out loud was like something about giving birth, something about, you know, the upcoming labor delivery situation.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: And the card didn't make sense at all to the labor and delivery question.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: I remember your look and I'm like, yeah, that was my first question was about work.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Like it knew.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: Well, and you know what?
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: That's yeah, for mediums and and spiritual practitioners out there.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: That is one of the hardest things to, I mean, I speak for myself.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: Like, that's where you've got to get to the confidence level of it's not me, it's spirit.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: I think an early version of me practicing mediumship, practicing delivering angel messages would be like, well, this doesn't make sense.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: I must not have done it right.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: But you're right, it just shows up spirit.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: They are you.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: So of course they know when you change your mind like that.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: I hope you have confidence in that because you okay, good.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because we've we've talked quite a bit, and I remember one of our sessions too for that, and I was just blown away by stuff that there's no way, no way you could have known any of it.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Well, that's your team.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: That's your team.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: And thank you.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of practice.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: I was gonna get pregnant.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: I yeah, that's real weird.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: That I mean, God, I remember I don't I forgot kind of that you that that happened.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, every doctor was like, no, you'll never I remember that.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: God, yeah, I forgot that came through.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Wow, how special.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Then here he is.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: And Bella was still here too when that was happening, right?
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: How cool.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: God, you know what?
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Cal Spirit is so cool.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: The universe is so rad.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: I feel like that seven-day show, whenever I still like it's going around the circle, and I'm like, God, the universe, man.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: So rad.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: That's so rad.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Okay, I want to go back a little bit.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: So you were talking about in terms of success as a projector, you were saying you help people trust their gut and find their voice.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: And I think that that is a beautiful representation of what's in your chart because you have an undefined sacral, which means that you take in the energy of others and reflect it.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: So you're helping them trust their gut by reflecting that it's safe.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: You do have a spleen safe to do that.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: You are actually your authority, your intuition comes through your spleen, which we've talked about, which is a very cool form of intuition, but it requires a lot of self-trust because it's more about knowing when things are not safe than when they are.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: But you have that safety that's central to you, but then you're reflecting how people can trust their gut.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: And also you have an undefined throat, which means that you are a voice for other people.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: So you are helping people find their voice.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: I think that's just so cool, the way that you phrased that.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I very much resonate with all of that, and especially in this new role, which I've just, again, really loved and I feel really good about.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: But I do, I I match people's energies.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: I can take it all in.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: And obviously, my team is built up of very different people.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: My son is very different, my husband's very different, right?
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: I feel like I take in and I absorb all of that.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: My go-to is to always ensure that people feel really strong in their convictions and strong in how they do things and feel empowered to do it.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: I think probably empowered is my most commonly stated word when you know a colleague comes to me or one of my direct reports comes to me, and they're just like, I'm having this issue.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: I, you know, and I'm just like, how would you handle it?
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: How do you want to handle it?
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: What's really driving this?
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: And they'll tell me it.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you don't need me, you're good.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: First of all, God, I want to talk about this channel and I want to talk about the what you're feeling there.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: You've got this defined ego heart center that's only 38% of the population, which means that you have a consistent sense of self-worth and of ability to get things done, ability to do it for women, especially who manage women, who are around other women.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: Like we already have had a lifetime of gaslighting.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: And that's not to say my life sucks.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: I love being a woman.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: And there are certain parts of us that are disempowered or have been culturally.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: And one of them is you can't make that happen.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: You're not strong enough to, it's it's that sense of I need to prove my worth.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: I need to prove myself.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: And you and I have that natively, which doesn't show up like a ton of self-esteem all the time.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: It just the way that I describe it is when I was acting, it would really hurt when I didn't get the role, but it never made me question whether I was a good actor.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: That's exactly it.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: I'm going to be coming into a lot more responsibility.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: There's always imposter syndrome.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: There's other things that kind of bombard you.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: And then when I really stopped, instead of just let the feeling swirl me and I sat with it and tried to ground myself a little bit, I was like, right, I can do this.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: Who else do I think could do this better than I could?
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: No, exactly.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: I will absolutely do this and I will do it well.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: And I'm not worried about that.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: So what you're doing is you're lending people that energy.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: And I feel like when you have that defined in your chart, this is that little green triangle for people who are following along with the there's only four gates in it.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's a almost, I would call it a responsibility, I feel that way, to empower the people around you, to highlight your faith in them, that they don't have to prove their worth, because they can take that from you at two times.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: The same way that you and I take in other people's emotions at two times, they can take in your sense of faith in their ability and then run with that.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: And how empowering is that?
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're supercharging that for people who don't have that defined.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: Like that's what I want to do.
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: That is success to me.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Because you're using your energy and you're being and you're being recognized for it.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: The other thing that I want to bring up about this is this line, which is it's part of the tribal circuit, which is this very small.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: See all these lines and how they connect the centers.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: There's different circuits.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: I'm sure as a scientist who can understand, you know, they they light up.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: But this one is about really taking care of the community on a survival level.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: And this is 2644, which connects your spleen to your ego heart center.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: I'm reading for my software.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: On the channel of the intermediary, you're able to optimize old ideas and or replace them with new ones, especially on a material level, as you learn from the past and share this knowledge.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: You have a talent to interact with people and deliver your message in an appreciative way.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: Instead of actively marketing yourself, ha, you should be patiently waiting for the right market to recognize and appreciate you.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: So you're able to, on a material level, understand what's working, what's not, and how to get things done and share that message.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: I think that's why I finally found a role that feels good to me and has really allowed me to lean to this part of me.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, you have an instinct.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: This spleen center is instinctual in terms of they call it in terms of health.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: People call it an intuition.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: It's separate from intuition.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: Everybody has in same with manifest or manifestation.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: You have into everybody has intuition, but the intuition center, the spleen, is like the intuition a mother has or the intuition a deer has, where it's just not tangible, it's precognitive.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: It's just innate.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: Right, innate.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: That's a great word for it.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: So you have that sense of what you can do as a community, as like that's what this is.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: You're able to optimize the old ideas, replace them, like move the tribe forward.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: It's a projected channel and you're a projector, so you know we need to wait for the invitation.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: But when you are invited, you are able to really help with the vitality of the group that you're in on a material level.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: So you probably make people tons of money too, honestly.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: That's it's material.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: If there's a department at risk, I'd want you in it.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: I would too.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: So that resonates.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: You also have another channel that's defined here that we can talk about.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: This one is the 1057 channel of perfected form.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: Your life is a journey of self-improvement driven by intuition and your desire to create beauty and art.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: You adapt, position yourself, and inspire others to be bravely themselves.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: By staying true to your intuition, you consistently create beauty.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, so tell me how this shows up for you.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: It's funny because my instinct is to see art or beauty and be like, I can't draw a stick figure without messing it up.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: But that's not what it's talking about at all, right?
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: No, and let me help you because your design sense, which is your super sense, is outer vision.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: This is like for me, I need my space to be very beautiful.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: I was just going to say, I cannot function unless my space is beautiful.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: I derive pleasure from and feel clear headed when and I feel like I'm at my best when my aesthetic around me is that that like matches me.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: We moved into our new house actually a year ago today, last August 5th.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Hey.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: And moving when you are five and a half, six months pregnant is hard.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: We moved from across the country.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: That was hard.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: The house had a lot of major things that needed to be done.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: And then I became very, very pregnant.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: I started a new job at 28 weeks pregnant.
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: I was traveling for work for a while until I couldn't travel anymore because I was very, very pregnant.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: And then I had a baby.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: And what's been hard is that this house that has so much potential, I didn't get to pour into it the way that I did my previous house or the way that I've ever done anywhere that I've ever been.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: And it still drives me a little bit crazy.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: We're getting there.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: My son's a little bit more, he's not newborn, right?
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Like not a larva, right?
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: A little, a little potato hive.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: Um and so the first thing I did, I think in March, my son was like three months old.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: I told my husband, we have to get our room to look nice.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Because we spend so much time in here, like that little newborn bubble.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: And yes, I was like in heaven looking at my son, but then my son would sleep and I would stare at these white walls.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: We lived on two acres in the woods.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: So, and for some reason, this house, everything was built to not face the woods.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, God, so I just feel like I'm kind of driven crazy a little bit here because it's like, I want to face the woods.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: I need to make my everything around me look nice so that I feel at peace, so that I feel like I can be my best and do all the things that I like to do.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: That's hard because I have not really been able to do that yet for this house.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: So I remember you saying that about your old house.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: I was like, do you miss Texas?
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: And you're like, I loved that house.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: Like, I loved that.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: And you're talking about how nice it was laid out, like how beautiful it was.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: You got married, right?
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: At that house.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: Got married at the house.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: I would wake up like a Disney princess.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: The birds would sing and I would look at my beautiful windows and trees, and like come outside, and the light would be shining through, and all the rainbows from the front window would be everywhere.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: And then I would walk and everything felt so good.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: I was never in a perpetually bad mood there.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: Um, of course, bad things happened and I was moody or whatever, but it just felt so good.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: And I knew leaving that house, I would probably not find anything like that, not in Texas in my price.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: Right, right, yeah, right.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Move up north to Illinois and get the taxes just spanked out of you because in the Chicago suburbs in a good school district.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: So if you don't know, we pay as much in our mortgage as we do in our taxes.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: It's like a double mortgage.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: Sure is.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: And the schools are worth it.
- 37:21SPEAKER_00: And totally.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: It's just that's not how Texas operates at all.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: So, like, so that's been a really hard thing here.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: But I do have the woods.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: So I go outside and I can look at the trees, and it's so nice to walk down the driveway and you're just surrounded by all the trees.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: I'm finding my aesthetic that helps me, but I it is so important for me for my surroundings to be beautiful.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: I also I wonder if that's because I'm calling it a projector thing of being in the woods too, but like I'm also L-OLing because I that's mine.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: My outer vision is also mine.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: And I live in the woods.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: And Kel, I painted one wall for a screen, and then I put forest painting on.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: I made it into that because I was laid up from ankle surgery and I was staring at four white walls.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: And Kel, I have these awful, sorry, not awful.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Thank you for your service, but these closets that are like floor to ceiling, but they're metal.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: And so hard to replace that in a way that, you know, it's homeowner stuff.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: But the dogs, also the beds were at the foot of the bed, and I was like, I can't stare at this anymore.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I feel like I can't.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: So I cut squares in the metal doors and put their beds in the squares so I could have a more beautiful space and I didn't have to stare at their furry beds.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: Yes, because that's what we have to do.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: It's because I couldn't sit there any longer.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: And Michael's like, what?
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: I was like, I can't.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: I just need, I need, and I designed it all on Photoshop, but like mocked it up.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: I have to see it visually represented.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: I can't visualize the room very well.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: God, that's funny.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: But my son's room is which as a newborn, he never spent that much time in, right?
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: Right, right, right.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: But my son's room is the same thing.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: I'll send you a picture of it.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, pretty.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: No, I've seen it.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: It has the wooded, one wall is the forest with mountains, and then everything is the soft green with, I mean, it's just that room feels so good to me.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: And then I come back to the case.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: That's well, that's your gift.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: So that's right.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: So when we talk about this channel, which is where this even started, you are constantly improving yourself and also the desire to make the world around you more beautiful.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: Doesn't necessarily mean through, I mean, it's a creative thing.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: I guess you would label it as creative.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: A lot of the words, especially in traditional human design, all words are energy that we've put into a box, basically.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: And so they're not necessarily going to resonate the most, which is why I'm honestly truly making this podcast, because then we can talk about things like, no, but you make rooms beautiful.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: And I bet I know you're not in marketing, but for me, I couldn't make an ugly slide deck like when I was in corporate.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: And people do, and they just don't care.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, how?
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: How can you send that?
- 40:20SPEAKER_00: God, the sales team and RFPs, I request for proposals sometimes when they couldn't wait for marketing.
- 40:27SPEAKER_00: They would send submit these skeletons of, and they would move things around in Adobe, mess with my PDFs.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: And I was like horrified.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: Um, but what you need to know about that is it's a gift that you bring.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: And knowing that you adapt, position yourself, and inspire others to be themselves by staying true to your intuition to what would make things more beautiful, I guess.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: You create beauty.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: And yeah.
- 40:59SPEAKER_00: And that's always my goal, too, is to inspire others to be themselves bravely, right?
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: All of that is what I strive to do and be for all of those around me.
- 41:13SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's perfected form.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: So let's actually look at this gate 10, too.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: It's love of self and life capacity to love yourself deeply, seeing your individual, unique life as an intentional and beautiful extension of humanity.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: And that's connected to your spleen.
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: And now, so this is associated with the ear.
- 41:37SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh, okay.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: The gate of intuitive insights.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: So combining love of yourself and in the presence.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: So we could see that like making yourself like getting the most out of life.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: That's what spirit is saying is really like what are your instincts of really leaning into who you are as a human being and what you can get out of your life.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: Love of life in that way.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: And how you can expand on that is what spirit is saying.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: And that resonates, and it that's what I strive for in every being in the present is something that I think is also a little bit new for me that I don't know that I've tapped into, but it's been new since being a mom.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you have to be.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: You have to be.
- 42:19SPEAKER_00: Because you can't.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: And but I'm not resistant to it.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: I used to always be resistant to it because I thought that if you're just in the in the moment has a different connotation, but if you're just like doing everything for that minute, that day, that whatever, that felt complacent, and complacency feels bad to me for some reason.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: Well, that's this channel.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: Getting better, perfected form, like that is complacency and not moving forward and getting the most out of it of who you are.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: Love of life, love of self.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: Um that's what you're talking about.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: So that definitely fully resonates.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: And then just being, I don't know, just maybe it's just a mom thing.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: Just like I just love all the I love all the things.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: I'm not only trying to strive to make my son better or anything, right?
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: I want to be a better mom for him, but I can sit there and watch him do whatever he's doing and just not want to be anywhere else, not want to do anything else, not think of all the things I would probably think of if I had free time.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: Like I should be doing this, I should study this, I should go exercise, I should do whatever.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: I'm just immersed in watching my son do the things he's determined to do.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: So one of the things I noticed in one of these definitions here is there's a shadow side of like which spirit is showing me is it's this ability to really, when you're in the present in your body, be like, wow, anything is possible.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: And really the gift in that is being able to look at the horizon and get excited, but not need to know what's next.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Next to feel safe about moving forward because it's just, oh, I can't wait for what's next.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: Is that exactly?
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: And the shadow side, it says, is fear of the future.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: So what I'm thinking about is spiritual awakening.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: People, especially women, when they step into their spirituality and they're like, oh my God, everything's real.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: Oh my God, everything's real.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: It could be overwhelming.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: And that's the shadow side that I think they're talking about.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: I think I felt a little bit of the overwhelm going into motherhood.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: But that's what we were talking about.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: Fear of the future.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: And even with work and all of that, but it I think I like that it's a shadow thing because it's not the dominant feeling I have.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: No.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: It exists, but it's just a little bit well.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: If you think about yourself standing in front of a forest, you can either feel excited or terrified.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: And that's that energy of that channel, is what they're saying.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: So you have the ability for people around you to in the moment move into another expression of who you are, get the most out of where you are in this moment.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: This also talks about attunement to the right ear, which is very specific, but I I would be remiss if I didn't ask you if you feel like you have a very keen sense of hearing, of having a intuition about hearing.
- 45:25SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: I can hear everything.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: I texted Chance, what happened what broke?
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: And he was like, How the hell did you hear that?
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: I dropped something off my desk.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
- 45:51SPEAKER_00: That's wild.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: I can hear everything.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: And I can hear the subtle differences in common sounds that I hear all the time.
- 45:59SPEAKER_00: I mentioned to my son, who just I can hear all of the things, and I I it's actually one of the best things.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: I don't know, it's one of my stronger traits that I kind of like that I can hear all the things.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: Well, it would relate to being safe too.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: I think that that's a specific because it's coming from your spleen.
- 46:21SPEAKER_00: So what I hear when you're talking to me, and let me know if I'm wrong, is you can discern when something's unsettled.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's cool.
- 46:31SPEAKER_00: You have a superpower.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it does feel like a superpower.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: I could go into a million things about your chart, Kel.
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being so open with all.
- 46:41SPEAKER_00: I think there's so many great examples in what we talked about.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: Is there anything that you have a question about after talking about this that you have any questions about that I can?
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know that I have any direct questions.
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: I think what I do want to at least say is that every time we've talked about this, I've gotten so much more from it.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: And it's like little, it's puzzle pieces that then I can like piece together from our conversations.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: And then maybe you'll tell me something and it hits me differently, just like the art thing where my first instinct was something different, and then I'll think about it.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: And then all these things will happen in my life where I'm like, oh, yeah.
- 47:21SPEAKER_00: I see I'm seeing it.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: I'm seeing all the pieces and I'm seeing how they fit together.
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: And so I just want to say that I get so much out of having these conversations with you.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: That's thank you for saying that.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why I feel so passionate about human design.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: Because I think when you're able to recognize these parts of yourself in every part of your life, it helps you recognize your literate like beauty.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: I'm going to talk about outer vision, but oh no, this is who I am.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: But it makes you more confident in walking through the world, knowing that these things about you have many different facets and are actually all intentional and are huge gifts in your life.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: I think that's a huge part too, because you can recognize these traits within yourself.
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: And then when you see how core and innate they are to your being, you want to tap into them more or you feel more empowered to tap into them more.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: And you remember in moments of maybe imposter syndrome or a lack of confidence, even if they're just little moments, and you're like, no, no, no, hold on.
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: I know who I am.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: I this is bless it, Kelly.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: And it's it's you derive power from that too.
- 48:36SPEAKER_00: So I just I've enjoyed all of that from from learning about this.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 48:43SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: What a beautiful note to end on.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: And I will talk to you all day about your design and your baby's design and how they all fit together and how you don't have to second guess if you hear something across the room because you know that you have that as a gift.
- 48:57SPEAKER_00: And if it makes you feel unsafe, it's probably right.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: You're a one-woman alarm system, Cal.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: I sure am.
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: Who needs simply safe when you've got Kelly Donahue at the ready?
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being here.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: Do you still do an Instagram that's public or do you have do you want to tell anybody where to find you?
- 49:21SPEAKER_00: Oh no, my Instagram's private.
- 49:23SPEAKER_00: Not that I post anything.
- 49:25SPEAKER_00: I do just keep my son private on everything.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: But I'll I Yeah, if you want to talk to Kelly, I'm a four-line, so I connect people.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: So uh email me.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: She's a pleasure.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: And actually, I was thinking about the outer vision thing too, and the Madame Beju thing is so on brand for that.
- 49:40SPEAKER_00: Outer vision.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: It's funny too.
- 49:42SPEAKER_00: My right here has all my piercings.
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: It's to hone, it's to hone better.
- 49:49SPEAKER_00: It's like a little speaker.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:52SPEAKER_00: Hark.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: Thanks for being here.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 49:55SPEAKER_00: And let's go walking soon.
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: I need to see your baby.
- 49:58SPEAKER_00: I haven't seen your baby.
- 50:00SPEAKER_00: Let me go get him.
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: He's adorable.
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: Look at you, buddy.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: He's so happy.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: He is a happy, happy baby.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: It's a happy, happy baby.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: I used to sing that exact thing to Cyrus.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: Do not even.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: The happy, that's what the happy, happy duck.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: He is a happy, happy.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:26SPEAKER_00: I would sing that to Cyrus.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: I that is wild.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: That is insane.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: That's insane.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: I've never sung that to a baby.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: My husband.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: Carly brought up Cyrus in the very beginning, too, when we first got on.
- 50:51SPEAKER_00: I saw I saw a light.
- 50:53SPEAKER_00: She saw a blue light light up.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: Like in my mind's eye, yeah.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: Wild.
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: They never miss an opportunity.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: Well, that was fun.
- 51:05SPEAKER_00: Thanks for being here.
