Diego Pavia, the Heisman runner-up and former Vanderbilt QB, got cut by the Baltimore Ravens just before training camp—before he even got to full practices. Despite being the team’s top offseason target and having their coach’s endorsement, he was deemed the fifth QB on their depth chart, behind veterans and rookies. The Ravens needed space for Ethan Pocic and opted for a more experienced QB trio.
