Latest / Man in America Podcast / They're Dumping AI's Toxic Debt Into YOUR 401(k). Here's How
Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: A trillion dollars. A trillion dollars. That's how much borrowed money is holding up the entire AI boom right now. And the same guys who spent three years promising that this technology would change everything just walked into DC and asked for permission to slow it down. But I don't think that they're afraid of the machine.
- 0:33I think they're afraid of footing the bill for the machine. And so Washington while Washington is debating slowing AI down, Wall Street is pushing to put the same risky loans funding it into your four zero one k, which is happening right as Social Security is set to run out by 2032. So forget the killer robots for a minute here. The question that matters is who gets the upside and who gets stuck with the bill? Welcome to Man in America, a voice of reason in a world gone mad.
- 1:02I'm your host, Seth Hulghouse. My guest today, Mark Wilburn, is the president and cofounder of Neos Capital Development Group. He's the author of a book called Understanding the Matthew Effect, which goes into why the rich keep getting richer and how everyday people can tap into this exact same strategy. Mark has trained thousands of people on how to properly trade the stock market, not gambling or guessing or following some talking head on CNBC, actually reading the charts and understanding what the big money is doing. So his strategy produced a 141 trades last year with a 78% win rate, which means nearly eight out of every 10 trades were winners.
- 1:42And at one of his prior events, he shared two stock picks live with the audience, SMR, which is new scale power, and NNE, which is nanonuclear energy. And both those stocks went up over 200% after that event. So people who followed that doubled their money instead, then some. And so Mark is also he's holding a free live training event in September, this month on the twenty fourth and the twenty sixth. It's called the Freedom Trading Summit, where he's gonna break down exactly what's happening in the markets right now, but also how you can position yourself on the right side of what's coming.
- 2:13He'll show you the truth about what's really happening in the markets. So you can sign up right now @mia-neos.com and register. Again, it's free. The link is in the description, and he's even giving away a free digital copy of his book just for showing up. So again, that's mia-neos.com, and that link will be in the the description.
- 2:35So let's go ahead get into my conversation with Mark Wilburn. Mark, man, it's good to have you back on again. I'd really, really enjoy talking to you, and it's good timing to have this conversation because there's a handful of things I've been following that I really wanna get your thoughts on. So thanks for giving us your time today.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Of course, Seth. It's always awesome to be here with you and your community. You've got a great community here. And anything we can do to help bring understanding in this crazy time, we're more than happy to do.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate that. It's also what I like is that you look at the markets and you look at things not just from a traditional finance guy, but someone who understands the mark of the beast, the Federal Reserve, and all these things. So it's a really important lens to to look at this.
- 3:21And so so, anyway, so Yeah. Kind of here's there's kind of a little bit of a narrative that I've been piecing together and trying to understand how it all fits together. And so I wanna get your feedback on this. So here's what I'm seeing, is that on one side that we've got Social Security, right, which a lot of people are either, a, depending on Social Security for their entire retirement, or a lot of their wealth is tied up into it. Right?
- 3:42And so the numbers have just gotten worse for Social Security. So the retirement trust, the fund that funds it, they're now projecting it's gonna run out in, you know, late twenty thirty two, which is a few months earlier than they're saying it was gonna run out last year. And if congress isn't making any changes, that that you know, at some point, that money's gonna be coming in the system, it'll only be enough to cover about, I think, 78% of the actual retirement. So there's this, you know, 22% shortfall. And while 2032 sounds like it's, you know, distant future, it's only six years away.
- 4:12So it's it's actually quite close. But at the same time, as we've all seen, we have this this enormous AI boom that's happening. Right? Trillions of dollars, you know, being dumped into data centers, chips, power plants, infrastructure, obviously, all the big tech stocks. And but a lot is, okay.
- 4:29Where's that money coming from? Right? And a lot of that those trillions are coming from debt and the private credit. And so everyone's really worried about killer rob robots, you know, taking over, which, you know, I think is something we should be worried about. But I think it's also there's a much more immediate financial problem that's kinda sitting under all this.
- 4:47That's like, what happens if all this money gets borrowed and spent, you know, building this in in this huge infrastructure based upon these expectations of these massive AI profits, what happens if that doesn't materialize? Because, you know, right now, we're seeing that some of the biggest people in the AI, you know, CEOs, etcetera, they're now saying, hey. We should slow things down. Right? They're, you know, pacing the frontier.
- 5:12You know, we want safety standards, outside evaluators, maybe some more government regulation. And maybe they're actually terrified where things are going, but I don't think that's I think there's another side of this. Right? Because if you slow down the AR arms race, you also slow down this insane cycle where these companies have to keep spending tens or hundreds of billions just to stay ahead ahead of the other person. And then there's the even bigger question, which is if they slow down the AI, then eventually, who's controlling who gets to build the AI?
- 5:44Right? Is that that part of it? Okay. Slow it down, have it more regulated, you know, because a lot of the biggest AI companies, they're sitting at the table that are helping establish these rules. Right?
- 5:55The same safety standards, the evaluators, and they're even maybe even getting an antitrust protections so they can coordinate with one another, which is really kind of pointing out to more of, like, a government private public partnership monopoly type thing emerging, which is frightening. But then, you know, the the really kind of the question I'm seeing throughout this whole thread is that so at the at the exact same time the America's, you know, retirement backstop is getting weaker, there's this push to give average Americans, you know, this exposure to these private markets, and private credit is becoming a really, really key part of financing this huge AI build out. And so you have these two kind of things moving towards collision. Right? You have a Social Security system that's running out of its reserves, and you have a retirement system becoming increasingly exposed to the, you know, private financial system that's funding the AI boom.
- 6:45And so if the AI boom doesn't materialize, it's not like, oh, Sam Altman's losing all his money. It's like, no. Pension accounts, retirement accounts, like, it's the average American people, they're the ones that are stuck footing the bill. And so, you know, am I looking at this correctly? I mean, the AI CEOs are saying they wanna slow down, but you read charts for a living.
- 7:07And when you look at how this entire build out is financed, what is the what is the real money saying about all this?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Well, you covered a lot of things here, and that's that's a great question that you asked, number one. But you're covering a lot of things here, and you are putting together a lot of the missing pieces that most people aren't seeing. Right? And so, we've got this social security retirement that is ending. It's going to end.
- 7:32And there's so many people that I know who are dependent upon it. And it doesn't matter how much you sound the alarm. If people don't want to hear it or they don't want to see it, they kind of, Oh, you're a conspiracy theorist. This isn't really going to happen. No, these are government numbers.
- 7:46And so, to take control of that for yourself is paramount, number one, especially if you're depending upon it. Then you bring in the side where these CEOs who it was essentially like, Let's go as fast and as hard as we can for the last three years. And now it's like, No, let's stop. It's trying to stop a moving train on a track and it takes a mile for a train to stop, right? As soon as the conductor hits the brakes, it takes about a mile for that thing to stop.
- 8:14And this is going to take a while for it to stop. In fact, we actually saw Andrew Yang coming out yesterday dropping news that when ChatGPT's bot had the hack, I think about a month and a half, two months ago, it actually replicated itself in the internet. There is code in the internet. He said, quote, The internet is corrupted with this code, the entire internet. If that's true, it's kind of too late already, if that's true.
- 8:47Right? And so, why are we seeing all of the fearmongering? Why are we seeing everyone instantly say, Let's stop? And like you mentioned, you don't have to look forward. All you gotta do is follow the money.
- 8:59And so, what I've seen is money exiting the stocks instead of entering the stocks. And I think that's what is driving this. We've got stocks like SanDisk and MU. They've seen 50% drops from their highs. And it's not just in those data centers, which you talked about like, Hey, let's expose people to it.
- 9:19Semiconductors, Broadcom, Lam Research, they're down 30%. On one hand, this makes sense because they had huge rallies. I mean, you're up thousands of percentage points in MU and SanDisk. But if Wall Street was still bullish, they wouldn't be booking profits. They're trying to push it higher.
- 9:36And so the circular financing model that we talked about a couple months ago, when we start seeing that run out, that's what I think CEOs are actually recognizing.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And that's what calling for. They're booking profits. You're basically saying that you're they're kind of saying, okay. It's gone up enough. Time to exit.
- 9:55Right? Because but if they thought that it was gonna keep going up and up and up, it's kinda like, why would you get off the ship if if it's kinda rapidly going towards your destination? Why'd you kinda get off halfway? Right? Unless you
- 10:06Speaker 2: think that maybe
- 10:07Speaker 1: you're hit an iceberg or something.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Exactly. And so when you have when you have everyone bullish in the sector, the last people who really get on board is the overall general public. It's the guy who heard about his cousin's boyfriend's sister getting rich off mute. And so now you got to do it. And FOMO catches people by surprise.
- 10:31And so, what happens is institutions sell to those people and they're like, Hey, data centers is the way to go. And so, you start trying to find data stocks and they're already up a thousand percent, 900%, 500%. So we're buying up here, and the people we're buying from, Seth, are the institutions. That's what we're talking about here.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I see.
- 10:55Speaker 2: If that was the case, they'd try to keep pushing this thing higher.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I see. And, I mean, it also seems like, you know, you kinda learn looking back at history, like, the history seems to have kind of consistently taught us that whenever all the mainstream media outlets, you know, the the Jim Cramers, everyone, whenever they're, you know, kind of echoing the same thing, then it's either the opposite is true or they're trying to kind of pull something over the public. Right? It's safe and effective. Safe and effective.
- 11:22Safe and effective. It's not safe and effective. It's like the more you say it, the less I believe you. The more you say, oh, the AI boom. The AI boom.
- 11:30Everything. The more I see that, the more I'm like, there's something going on here. Especially, like, you mentioned if Wall Street is actually now exiting these positions at the same time the general public is like, hey. Great. Let's make some money off of these these tech stocks.
- 11:44Something's going on there.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And we're seeing a lot of the politicians come out and do it too. Right? So you've got big tech execs, like you're talking about the Sam Altons of the world, but then you have Bernie Sanders also coming out saying, hey. You should go to prison if you keep doing this. And we're hearing that same echo from mainstream media on the whistleblower who came out and was like, This unknown dude on X, all of a sudden his post blow up.
- 12:12He's getting interviews.
- 12:14Speaker 1: There's 170,000,000 views on Twitter. Right?
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah. It's crazy. And so Kathy Wood, I'll give her props. You know, she killed it in 2020, And then her fun went down really bad. And she's really recovered from that.
- 12:31But the lady's wildly intelligent. And so, she's the one I saw a post from her, and I don't have it pulled up, but I saw a post from her where she said, Hey, this is really shady. This unknown guy works at this AI company for five months, leaves, and he's this huge whistleblower all of a sudden. That seems like a setup. And that's where, like, your Elon Musk came in and was like, Kathy's right here.
- 12:54And so you kinda have these two teams, if you would. One saying, stop everything. That's the mainstream media. And then you have a couple other people who are like, this sounds familiar and shady from 2020. And that's kind of the camp I fall in.
- 13:11Speaker 1: You're you're one of those tinfoil hat people, aren't you?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Oh, I have a lot of those hats. Yes, sir. Yeah.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But I think that it's interesting because, you know, we talked about history repeating, and it's like, you know, there's nothing new under the sun. Right? I mean, the idea of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, I mean, this goes back to the or our origin story. Right? I mean and you you wrote a whole book on it.
- 13:37Right? So which is the effect the Matthew effect. Right? It's, you know, why the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. But so when you're looking at this bubble, this AI bubble, and also, I think that you and your when you've analyzed past bubbles, you know, .com, housing, etcetera, You know, when a bubble like that actually starts to unwind, who's actually getting richer and who's getting poorer?
- 14:00How does that work, and how does that fit into just the average American's bank accounts?
- 14:05Speaker 2: For sure. So the concept of the rich getting richer is actually a spiritual biblical law. Jesus makes this statement five times in three gospels. And if you are a Christian, you have a Christian worldview, and you believe Jesus is the son of God, if God is saying something, it is established as a law. And he said, To him who has, more will be given.
- 14:24The rich get richer. To him who doesn't have, what he thinks he has will be taken away. The poor get poorer. Right? So, that's a spiritual law.
- 14:31And the book itself is just about how you, as an average person, can tap into that and become it. But your viewers know about supply and demand. I know you've taught them a ton of that, especially dealing with precious metals like silver. But that's how the stock market moves. And so, a lot of times we think it moves on news and political events.
- 14:50It's actually supply and demand. So, if demand's there, people are buying, stocks go higher. If there's no demand, people are selling, stocks go lower. All the valuation metrics, the PE ratios, the forecast, fundamental analysis, it doesn't mean anything when institutions sell. Overvalued stocks go up all the time and undervalued stocks still drop.
- 15:09The real winners in this scenario are your institutional investors. Those are people who are selling at these highs, and that is a process called unwinding. They're getting rid of these positions like we just talked about. Subsequently, that's what is making them rich because they're selling for profits. Wall Street doesn't hold positions for a long time.
- 15:32Rarely do successful investors and traders hold positions forever unless they're really early. Like Buffett and Coca Cola, like you think about his dividend stocks on Coca Cola, he's never going to sell that because his dividends pay so much. He was super early. But even if you look at indices, Seth, the S and P 500, you look at them getting rid of Nike, Nike was it growing up. I mean, you had the Michael Jordans coming out, signing deals with them.
- 16:00Nike's the company itself, is it gonna go out of business? Most likely not, but they're out of the S and P now. They just got replaced with Bloom Energy. And so if indices and indexes are not holding companies forever, a, neither should you, but that's what we do in our 401Ks, which is really interesting because that's how they're tapping into all this.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Interesting. And I I think you really you only get these scenarios where they hold forever when you're you know, say that you were, you know, one of the original Apple investors, right, or buffet with Coca Cola. It's like, okay. Maybe in that case, yeah, you you bought. Right.
- 16:38You know, you you bought Coca Cola at, you know, $5 a share, and it's split and everything so many times. Maybe that makes sense. But the the thing is is that, again, it's kind of, you know, their whole structure is do as I say, not as I do. Right? And and you and it's like, okay.
- 16:54Do as I say. Well, as we've talked about extensively, you know, you go to your local, you know, TD advisor or your Vanguard IRA, the guy who's managing it, that's kinda the same thing as just going to your going to your pharmaceutical doctor and saying, I feel sick, and he gives you a a pill bottle. Right? There's they're they're still part of the same system, which is the system which is meant to may you know, to keep us keep us down here and to keep them up there. But now, like, they're coming after private credit.
- 17:25Right? So this is this is what's kinda crazy with this is that as you're watching this AI bubble and this funding, obviously, there's insane money printing, which I think is a big thing. It's kinda propping up the stock market and making everyone think, wow, the market's going crazy. Yeah. Because they're printing a bunch of money.
- 17:38It's going straight into that. But, but now a lot of these debts that are, you know, being used to fund this AI expansion, in the data centers and all this, they're funding it with, like, four zero one k's, Social Security reserves, which are gonna be running on 2032. And so if someone, say, is 55, has been told their whole life just to buy and hold, what are they exposed to in a market like this?
- 18:08Speaker 2: No. Great question, man. So, again, this kind of leads to what we were saying. Six years is not far away. And so a few months ago, we actually saw where BlackRock CEO Larry Fink floated this idea on stage saying that data centers, AI, nuclear, all of that needs to be part of people's retirement, invest, and growth strategy.
- 18:30And his pitch, if you would, know, pitch is used loosely here, is that there's potential for the upside that everyone needs access to. Data centers are coming, so you need to profit on it. And so BlackRock is kind of doing what they can to worm their way in, offload these funds into individual portfolios. And so, the scary thing comes when the person is ready to retire. If we have another like 'seven, 'eight crash, the NASDAQ, Seth, dropped 80% from its highest.
- 19:00That's the index. That's not like a random stock. The entire index dropped over 80% and it took sixteen years to recover that. I always tell people, one of the best ways to grow your wealth is to avoid those big drops. A 10% loss is way easier to recover than an 80% loss.
- 19:19And so, if you have all of your stuff in big tech, Apple, Amazon, is Apple going anywhere? Probably not. It's probably not going to zero. But what if it does drop 50%? I don't wanna lose that much of my money.
- 19:33Right? Oh, yeah. So being mindful of that is key.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I mean, growing up, I I saw this. Right? So my dad, you know, he followed the kind of mainstream advice to a t. He went he got a degree. He got a great job.
- 19:51He you know, first, he's was with AT and T. AT and T, I think, then it made knew they acquired Lucent Technologies. I forget. So then he transferred over to Lucent Technologies, and this is in the nineties. And his 401 k, which again, this is, like, say, the late nineties.
- 20:07His four zero one k was right around $80.80 to a $100,000 in a four zero one k, which, you know, that's especially for, you know, say, nine '19 98, that's a really big nest egg that you've got, right, for him having three kids and everything. And so but once the .com crash happened, I remember seeing my my mom and him arguing all the time. And my mom was always saying, Ed, sell. Just exit. Just and he's like, no.
- 20:28No. It's a good company, and it it's gonna come back. And I think that his four zero one k dropped some from roughly a 100,000 down to, I think, maybe 25 or 30,000. And and and and Lucent end up going to zero. You know, Lucent Technologies end up just going completely defunct.
- 20:42But you know? So I saw I saw what that was like to have their entire kind of savings just wiped out. And, so, yeah, it's it's it's scary stuff. It's really scary because this is a lot of people's retirement that are depending on this.
- 20:58Speaker 2: And how do you recover from that? Right? Like, not just the financial part, the mental toll of watching it drop and drop. And you're feeling helpless because when you call your financial advisor, they're like, Oh, stocks do this all the time. Ride the wave.
- 21:14It's gonna come back. And in the case of the NASDAQ, it took sixteen years. But what if you don't have that time? What if you need it next week to pay your bills? To me, that's terrifying.
- 21:28Speaker 1: It is.
- 21:28Speaker 2: That's awful. And as a kid watching your dad, I mean, that's gotta be, a, super painful for your parents, but also lets me know where your mind is on, hey. My retirement's not gonna be in paper.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. It's in these these chunks I can bury.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That's it.
- 21:48Speaker 1: But so, you know, so with all this and look at what's happening in the market, I just wanna be clear. You know, you're not telling people just to go panic sell. Right?
- 21:55Speaker 2: No. Gosh. No. No. No.
- 21:56Don't don't go panic sell. I don't want you to do that. What we do want you to do is be aware of what could be coming. And I know you do a great job explaining this, but just to kind of recap where we're at, record high tenure bonds. The real estate market is still inflated.
- 22:11We've got rates over 7%. Fed increased rates this last Wednesday. They said more rate hikes are coming. We've still got the out of control spending. Inflation is still staying high.
- 22:23That's why they're saying there's going be another rate hike. You've got stock market near highs. The stock market's doing great. I know if you're looking at your four zero one ks, like, Hey, it's pretty good right now. But it's struggling to keep going up.
- 22:34And so, our goal is to encourage people to learn to read and understand the times. Right? Like Jesus even makes the comment, understand the times and seasons that you're in. Understand what is here, what's around the corner, and just prepare for that. Prepare for that.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I mean, it's kinda the same thing looking at what's happening with diesel prices right now.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Oh, that's
- 22:55Speaker 1: scary, man. You know, I mean, I I think it was maybe three or four months ago, I kinda saw something running on the wall, and things were already kinda going high. And so I went up, and I I went I I filled up I've got a tank, a 300 gallon tank that I use for my tractor, and so I bought 300 gallons of diesel. And at that point, I think it was, you know, a little over $4 a gallon, which seemed like it was a little bit high. But now it's it's, what, $6.07, $8 a gallon.
- 23:22Yeah. And so, again, it's just it's just it's reading. It's just paying attention. It's just paying attention. And
- 23:29Speaker 2: the I mean, when you think about diesel and the ripple effect that's gonna have. Yeah. You're talking about increased food prices. You can't have transport going down the road anymore. Truckers, their price to actually move stuff has to go up.
- 23:45Right? Like, bottom line has to go up. Companies aren't going to pay that. What they're going do is they're going to pass that. Companies don't pay, they pass.
- 23:54Right? They pass that cost onto us as consumers. And so, everybody was scared. You know, eggs were 75¢ an egg, roughly. You could be seeing a dollar an egg.
- 24:06We could be seeing increases in milk prices. We could be seeing increases in any food, any commodity that has to be trucked as transport, which is still the largest and most effective way of transport. Now, we may see trains come back a little bit. Know, maybe train moving stuff by train helps. But eventually, trucking is still gonna get hit.
- 24:28So, the inflation there, Seth, is what I mean, you're looking six months down the road, that inflation could be huge.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Oh, I know. I think part me thinks, is this part of some sort of plan to just replace trucking with robots? Right? You know, we know that, you know, Elon's you know, he's building these self driving semi trucks. You know, I remember we were watching.
- 24:47It was Interstellar. Right? When you have all the all the semi, all the trucks were just automated, which that's you know, then it's like, okay. Well, who controls where those trucks are going? What happens to all the small regional trucking companies?
- 24:57Which that's a whole different rabbit hole. But, you know, kinda so looking at just the stock market ick market in general, obviously, it's a it's a crap show. Right? I mean and and it it's like kinda it's like it's like playing craps. Right?
- 25:10You're just kinda throwing the dice. But it's not just completely random because I know that, you know, last year, you know, because you had we talked quite a bit, and you've got around a 140 trades, but you had a 78% win rate with those trades. So it's not so random and such a gamble that you're just hoping that something's gonna stick. So, you know, what's the average person you know, what should they be doing differently? Right?
- 25:33How do they learn to understand these mechanisms so that it's not fear the stock market and pull everything out and don't touch it, which is kind of my approach, you know, but you're you're slowly changing my thinking on that. But what do people do to approach this differently? Especially if they've got a lot of their money sitting in a four zero one k, which is someone else just saying, hey. Just buy and hold. Buy and hold.
- 25:57Speaker 2: This is one reason that we host these free webinars, because the overwhelming feedback we get from them is how simple this really is to learn. I like to tell people trading and reading charts is a learnable skill like using a hammer to drive a nail. Anyone can learn this if they want to. And so, we do our best to simplify that and have it be fun and enjoyable. Now, it's finance, so finance can be boring.
- 26:18But I'm a goofball. We try to have fun in everything that we do. And obviously, when people make money, that helps the process of fun. I've never met anybody that didn't like pushing some buttons and making some money. Like Christine, we had a student, came to one of these events, I think from you.
- 26:35And she made $6,200 in a single month using what we're showing and teaching. I mean, that's real money. And so looking at that, as far as doing something different, your life changes with what you feed your mind. Education is huge. I am constantly listening to audiobooks, educating myself just to be better.
- 26:59Just to be better. This is why I read scripture. It challenges me to be better. And so if I want to become a different person, I've got to put something in to help me get that.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah. It's true.
- 27:11Speaker 2: That's what we wanna do.
- 27:11Speaker 1: That's true. And so I know so so I know that you do a lot of training. Right? So, actually, you've you've got an event coming up, which which I touched on in the intro of the show, but you've got a treat and training summit coming up, September 2426, and these are free. And so and the link's in the description to kind of reserve your seat for that, which I recommend people should.
- 27:31But I've I've I've was on one a few months ago, and I know so that it's not just like, okay. Here's some tips and tricks, but you actually even call out and you'll say, hey. Here's some big trades. And so I know that there's two that you made two stocks you called out that made 2530% gains in a few weeks. Right?
- 27:46Like, what was it? Bloom Energy and IBIT. Right?
- 27:50Speaker 2: Mhmm. Yep. So Bloom Energy, we actually piggyback that off Nancy because we heard Nancy got into that. And so anytime I hear Nancy Pelosi. Yeah.
- 28:00Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. Her husband got into it because remember, she doesn't do it.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah. It's her husband.
- 28:05Speaker 2: It's her husband that does it. And we saw that come out. And anytime I see that, I go look at the stock and be like, Okay, is this in a good buy point? Because I don't just blindly follow insider trading. I like to look at it and put it with our system.
- 28:19And so, we did that. We saw a really nice setup and that one actually popped. It went up about 30% in six days. I mean, it just took off. But it also was added to the S and P which gave it fuel, right?
- 28:32The second one, iBit, that was a call that we put out because of Bitcoin. And so, iBit, I B I T, actually is an ETF that follows Bitcoin. And so, follows percent for percent. So, we gave those out. And just coming to the summit, we try to do that when we see the opportunity because, you know, I live in Florida.
- 28:52We go to the beach. There's times where you can actually surf the Gulf in Florida. It's rare. But when you see those things happen on a specific date, you've to take advantage of it, right? And so, try to do that for people when they attend.
- 29:07And, you know, you mentioned it, we call it the Freedom Trading Summit. And the main reason that we do that is because in John eight, Jesus makes a statement. He says, You'll know the truth and the truth will set you free. And so, in the Matthew Effect, I have this quote, and I say, If it's the truth you know that sets you free, it's the lies you believe that keep you bound. And so many people have these false beliefs around the stock market.
- 29:31What we want to do is help break those beliefs, give you empowering beliefs so that you can begin to engage it. Then we show you our system, how you read stocks, understand charts, look at buy and sell points, minimize your risk. And it all takes about two hours to go through all of it.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Okay. And like I said, I've been on there, and you are, yeah, you are a goofball. And I can say it because I'm also a goofball. Like, I've I've got a whole book of dad jokes that I'm always Oh, I love it. Refreshing my thoughts on.
- 30:03So and so okay. So this summit is coming up. It's September 2426. It's free. Right?
- 30:14And it's about two hours, whichever one. And am I correct that so the summit itself is a live one where, you know, people are asking questions, you're constantly engaging with them. But if someone, say, is working or traveling, if they can't attend, if they reserve their seat, do they still get access to it? Can they still go back and watch what you went over on that?
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Great question. So it is live both days. So I'm there with you both days, me and my team. We answer your questions at the very end of the event.
- 30:44We'll answer everybody's questions. And if you miss it or you have to bail out early, right, you're like, man, this is really intriguing. I wanna do more, but Mark, two hours, I can only give you an hour. You can watch the replay at your convenience. And so we actually email the replay out.
- 30:58You get to watch it. It's up for a limited time. And we have people, Seth, that go through the replay two or three times because we give so much meat and content on this thing.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And I can yeah. I've been there, and I can say that that's true. And I was I was learning things that now, again, kind of disclaimer, I've basically ignored the stock market most of my adult life, probably because I saw what happened as a kid. For sure. But I feel like that what you do is you you're you're kinda stripping away.
- 31:27You're stripping away the a lot of the confusion, which I think is very intentional. And, really, you know, you're the truth will set you free, and that that really is the sense I get with that. So, you know, I encourage people, I highly encourage people. The the link is in the description. Reserve your seat.
- 31:44It's genuinely free. You'll you'll come away with a lot of information. You'll come away with some good stock picks. It's fun. So, again, if you have the time and if you if you don't have the time, still sign up and reserve your seat ahead of time so you can at least get access to that.
- 31:58Because if you can find time to watch my boring podcast, you can find time to watch his boring stock presentation, which I I actually is not boring. It's actually a lot of fun. Just like my podcast is fun. But anyway, highly, highly recommend it. The link is in the description.
- 32:12Make sure you go ahead and sign up for that. So, Mark, man, obviously, it's great talking to you. I thank you for what you're doing. I encourage people to check out your summit. And, again, yeah, thanks for your time today.
- 32:21It's been always wonderful speaking with you.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Of course, man. It's a pleasure to be on here with you, and I I really enjoy, I honestly really enjoy our pre chat and post chats more than the interview sometimes because it it lets me know what you're doing, everything that you guys are building, and what you're creating. So thank you for having us.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You're very, welcome, man. Take care, and god bless.
- 32:39Speaker 2: You too. So I
- 32:42Speaker 1: hope you enjoy that discussion, and here's my takeaway from this. Okay? We got trillions of borrowed money, data centers that are financed on private credit, and the same people who spent this years telling you that this technology is gonna change everything are now going to DC and saying, hey, please, please slow it down. I don't think they're afraid of the machine there, but I think they're afraid of the cost of it, and they're afraid of being forced to pay for that bill. And so while they're in those rooms, Wall Street is quietly working to put the private assets funding this AI boom into ordinary people's retirement accounts.
- 33:15Right? Your 401K, your neighbor's 401K. But at the exact same time, the Social Security Trust Fund is is projected to run dry by 2032. Right? So that's also not good.
- 33:27So you gotta ask yourself, the only question that really matters here is who gets stuck with the upside of this and who gets stuck with the bill? You can't vote this away. Nobody's gonna put the private credit market on a ballot. Right? What you can do is just stop being a passenger with your own money.
- 33:42So Mark is running his free training on September 2426. Now, this training, you can learn how to take back control of your financial future. So click the link in the description. There's also a QR code we'll throw up on screen. And again, it costs you nothing.
- 33:57You get completely free knowledge. And he's also giving away a free digital copy of his book just for showing up. So I think that you should do it. So if you do one thing after watching this video, just do that one. Go on there, join, sign up the link for the link.
- 34:09It's free. If you miss it, you'll get a free you can watch a replay of it for free because the people that are building this thing are counting on you doing nothing at all. Watch what they're doing and not what they're saying.
