Greenville Imposes Nighttime Curfew for Teens | Greenville News
Greenville’s mayor just slapped a midnight curfew on teens downtown—no one under 18 can be in the zone between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. starting Saturday, July 4th, unless with a parent or working locally. The area is clearly defined, bounded by the Tar River, Pitt Street, Reade Street, and Reade Circle. Police can shut down streets if needed for safety, and breaking the rules is a misdemeanor.
