Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right, gang, buckle up because news just hit the wire that is so utterly outrageous.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: So it shows such blatant corruption that I got to be honest, even I had to read it twice.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Minnesota representative Ilhan Omar, a parody of repulsiveness, just got even more repulsive.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: According to newly filed federal disclosures, reportedly, she reportedly generated what amounts to, I kid you not, a 60,000 percent return in just one year.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'll say that again.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'll give you the real figures here.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: She went from roughly $50,000 in
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: in one year.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, unless you discovered oil in her backyard, I mean, that kind of return, shall we say it just tends to raise a few questions?
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: Two ventures tied to a husband reportedly exploded in valuation, jumping from modest figures again.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking tens of thousands into the millions almost overnight.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: Now, even President Trump is rightly calling for a Justice Department investigation
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: So what on earth is going on here?
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well, to help us break this all down, I brought back my good friend and expert in all kinds of city Washington corruption, the one and only Ross Gibbons, Ross is a former Wall Street executive who spent nearly a decade tracking congressional and corporate insider trades.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: And he's hosting another one of his amazing free live online training events,
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: This one's on Thursday, February 26th at 3 p.m. Eastern, where he's going to show you exactly how everyday investors can follow these insider moves for themselves, but perfectly legally and ethically.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the best part is that when you register, you'll also receive a free insider trade idea, complete with the full
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: written breakdown explaining exactly why it's being recommended.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: Just click on the link in the description below.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: Trust me, you're going to want to do that just for that amazing free resource.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: But first, Ross, good to see you, my friend, as always.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: I always good to see you, Dr. Steve.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, you know, yeah, it's usually good, but you always get my blood boiling.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm sorry.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: My blood pressure goes up.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: How far you always bring light at the end of the tunnel, but getting to that tunnel, man.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'll tell you.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: But help me, you know, make this simple for a guy you just like to read books and stuff.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: How does someone go from $50,000
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: to five, how much is it now?
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: 30 is 501 and yeah, like 30 million.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: 30 million in one year.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm sure, you know, I think I speak for all of us.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: We'd really love to know that strategy.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'd be a good one, right?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: If I put that in a book and probably sell out in a couple of minutes.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's what we know what I've found from her disclosure, so her latest federal disclosure, and of course they have to show you what they own and what it's worth, show millions in new new assets tied to her husband's business.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: So there's really two big ones.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: Now first is his venture capital firm, it's called Rose Lake Capital.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now he started this thing three years ago, right after his wife's first term, how convenient.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it already has $60 billion in assets under management.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: And this thing should not be that successful this quickly.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, it shouldn't even exist because her husband, Tim Monette, has zero investment experience.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: His degree is in political science.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: All he's ever done is work on political campaigns.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: So who in a heck is given his guy, 60 billion dollars to manage.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: And to me, this feels very similar to a little Hillary Clinton foundation, hope pay for play scheme, right?
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because the only thing this guy has to offer is access to his wife and her colleagues in Congress.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: And the last number, say.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: And it is ownership.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: In a year, went from basically nothing, a thousand dollars to somewhere between five and 25 million.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: And that is in one year.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Next is the couple's California winery called East St.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Crew LLC.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the winery, again, according to last year's report, was valued between 15 and 50,000 dollars.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: This year, five million bucks.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: 50,000 to 5 million is not a pretty good year.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's a Hollywood script, Dr. Steve.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: This is a Forbes cover story.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Right, right.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: But the whole thing makes no sense.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: I dug into this two years ago, he was sued for fraud in a case centered around his winery.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: He borrowed 300 grand to start it and he promised the guy he would triple his investment in 18 much.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's already greasy.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: 18 months comes around.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: Not only did he failed to triple the guy's money.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't even have the original 300 grand to return.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: He had to sue him to get this money.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: So how did this failed non-existent winery that couldn't scrape together 300 grand to cover investors?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: So it's all very shady.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're being kind with that first of word.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: Shady is right.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then it, but it gets, it gets shadier.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: Because despite this despite filling out these disclosures personally with these multi-million dollar personal holdings, Ilhan Omar continues to publicly
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: right absurd.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm listening to this woman talk, then I'm reading the report that she filled out and I'm like, you just said you were $30 million.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's on paper.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: That that's why this is drawn such scrutiny, including the calls for investigation.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: And look, you know, look, disclosures aren't convictions.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, we know that, Pelosi disclosed all of her trades for years.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: She never got so much as a slap on the wrist, but when numbers move that dramatically,
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: people notice.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: And more than likely, through we can all agree, she's probably killed.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, yeah, especially especially Minneapolis, right?
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, covering it in detail on this channel, I mean, multiple, multiple high profile fraud cases are being discovered there more than anything exactly.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: ever of imagined.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: But sadly, I mean, you know, I'll, I'll hunt, we were talking about before the show here.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'll, I'll hunt's a particularly repulsive case, but unfortunately, she's not an isolated case.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: This is, uh, this is not simply a, uh, a one bad apple.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: in Congress.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: And your specialty is tracking insider stock trades.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: And you've been following their investments for years to find big opportunities.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Again, that's why I love what you do.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: You actually, you, you, you turn this, these lemons and eliminate for the rest of us.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: But we talked about this off camera.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: But the numbers are out for 2025.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: They've done it again, right?
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Surprise, surprise.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: Once you share with our audience what you were showing me earlier here.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, for the fifth year in a row, Washington, D.C. has again beaten Wall Street in once again.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't beat it by a little.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: They beat it by a lot.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: According to the congressional insider trading report for 2025, 38 members of Congress outperformed Warren Buffett last year.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: 38.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: members of Congress returned on average 33 percent last year.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: And that may not sound huge.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: I want to put this in perspective because the long-term average for the stock market is, you know, what, nine, 10 percent a year, right?
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Last year was a good year.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's 16.8 percent.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Congress doubled that.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you've got professional fund managers who do this for a living.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: They can they're struggling to beat the index and then we have Senators placing trades on their cell phone between meetings, generating 50, 60, 78% annual returns, Warren Davidson right there, 78% Buffett didn't do that in a year.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: the century, right?
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: And the fascinating thing is, none of them are writing any books on how you can do it, too, interesting, right?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you and I have talked about this numerous times, but just again, for everyone to understand total full disclosure here, this is not just one political party doing this, right?
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just the
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: When you look at the numbers and you put up that graphical show you here, Republicans average 35% last year, Democrats average 31.8 to both of them around or a little better than double the market.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, all I can say, at least Republicans are better at insider trading and Democrats, but no, this is a bipartisan issue in their performance.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, what precisely are they actually doing differently than say a Warren Buffett?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: How are they picking these stocks?
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess, I mean, the real question bottom line is how can viewers do the same thing?
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: What should we look for as a tell that this is an investment
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when we focus on our outlier trades, so you don't generate 60% return buying index funds.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I get that in a mutual fund, right?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: You get those kind of returns when you buy very specific stocks at very specific times.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll give you an example.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: Representative Susie Lee, who sits on a House Appropriations Committee, along the Defense Subcommittee, sits on these committees that decide who gets billion dollar defense contracts.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: So she buys a stock a couple of years ago and stock she buys is Ryan Matoll.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I did leave this.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Ryan Matoll.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: This sounds like a German heavy metal band.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's a little German arms manufacturer.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: They may weapon.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: The reason I say this is an ally, there's people in Congress that buy all the time, hundreds of stocks a year.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: This lady's bought nothing in three years.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: She buys one stock, but she didn't pick Apple or Google or Nvidia.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: She bought Ryan Matoll, a small cap, German arms manufacturer.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now that's kind of random, right?
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then you realize, as I mentioned, she sits on the House of Properations Committee, the Defense Subcommittee, well, what do you know, Dr. Steve?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: This stock took off like a Banshee brand
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: over the next 10 months and it's not it's again, it's not just one representative Gilbert's uh, was it Cisteros?
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: Let's stock in the drone manufacturer, arrow, air environment back in November, so this is what three months ago.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: The next month, the next month, the Department of War announced the unleashing American drone dominance project.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: They ordered 300,000 new drones.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Cisteros serves on the armed services subcommittee on intelligence, special operations and military personnel, like it's, it's just insane what these guys are doing.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: And the, and the interesting part of it all is this information is all public right, and it's all maybe inside going on behind the scenes, but eventually they have to release it all 100% yeah it's all public that they are legally required to file these trade so you can see.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: the date, the ticker, how much they bought.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: And this is the key point you can follow along.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I host these free training sessions every couple of months, is to show people exactly how to filter these filings and identify the highest probability trades.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'll show you the database where they are, what to look for at the big winner's vending common.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: So again, that is happening this Thursday, February the 26th at three Easter and as you mentioned, when you register, we will send you the report, my latest pick with all the details, why we like it, who's buying, it's going to be really eye-opening.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: And the cool thing to, well, I guess, cool for however you want to put, I mean, gross if we're looking for opportunities, is it's not just politicians doing this, which is interesting.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's correct.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: So CEOs, chief financial officers, board members, every executive at every publicly traded company has to do this, too.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: The after-report through trades, we can see
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: when insiders are buying before drug trial results.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: We can see if they're buying before merger or a government contract, it is an enormous advantage.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: And again, I notice, make people angry, but the silver lining in all of this is that it's public.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're not going to stop, right?
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: There have been multiple bills proposed to ban Congress from trading stocks in none of them past.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's no consequences.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like I always tell people, you can get mad.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: You can try to get even.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: I encourage people to use this to your benefit.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: As you said, thank you for saying that legally.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: And ethically using their moves for your own advantage.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: Just piggybacking what they do.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: piggyback.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, and that's what I love about what you do.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: You're not speculating.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: You're not guessing.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're simply following the money.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's literally that seems to be.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's that simple.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's already documented.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's fully public.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's just it just people have to know where to look.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's really just a matter of accessing that kind of information.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: So again, this is why I mean, seriously, you got to sign up for Ross's free live
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: can attend from the comfort of your own couch.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone can come, click the link in the description to register.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've been to so many of Ross's free trainings and they're gonna blow your mind.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're beyond eye opening.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: And again, the beauty of this is that we're just, you know, we're literally just tracking.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're writing the coat tails of what these politicians and CEOs are doing that they have to buy law disclosed.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what makes Ross the approach so awesome.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: on their insider knowledge that they have to make public and we get to piggyback on that legally and ethically.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: Did I get that all right, right?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're right.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: And the way I like to explain it is, is look, their salaries are paid by you and me.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: They're definitely not representing us, at least most of them are.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think the very least they could do is throw us a stock
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: here and there so we can potentially make money as America succeeds because they know exactly which errors are going to get legislations going to get passed to inject capital.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: They know exactly where the Department of Defense and Department of Labor is going to spend money.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: They are connected to all these donors and mega corporations.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like they just have a huge edge instead of letting it frustrate you, let it make you money.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, join me on the 26th.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'll show you how all this works.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like you said, it's free.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's online and it's usually pretty eye-opening.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: And and gagged don't wait to register because these free trainings fill up pretty fast.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: So click on that link below right now and register for this free online training.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Thursday, February 26, 3 p.m. Eastern and learn how you can use the same insider information, Pelosi and others have used to make millions, but we're going to do it for faith, family, and freedom.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so much, Ross.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: Always great to chat with you.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, you two, Dr. Steve, keep up the good work.
