- 1:20Speaker 1: Welcome to The Favorites, the podcast from the Volume Podcast Network.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I am Chad Noman, Chief Content Officer of the Action Network.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I am joined this episode as I am with every
- 1:32Speaker 1: episode by my co host, my BF, my companion Professional
- 1:38Speaker 1: Better Who. We will be talking about NFL futures, with
- 1:44Speaker 1: an NFL free agency and how maneuvers are impacting what
- 1:48Speaker 1: we're thinking about NFL. Simon Hunter, Hello, Siman, Hello, Hot, Chad. True,
- 2:00Speaker 1: really no off season, it really is. It feels like
- 2:02Speaker 1: every year the off season gets smaller in the NFL.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Now it might be down to one week after the
- 2:06Speaker 1: Super Bowl, and that's kind of it. It's just so
- 2:09Speaker 1: much QB drama, so many moves. It really does never
- 2:13Speaker 1: end out, which I love because I just love football.
- 2:16Speaker 1: The NFL is so fucking greedy they cannot give any
- 2:20Speaker 1: other leads. It's attention. I mean, the NBA is coming
- 2:26Speaker 1: down to the end of another exciting season. Major League
- 2:30Speaker 1: Baseball has players going to the World Baseball Classic, and
- 2:32Speaker 1: it's super fun for the players who can actually survive
- 2:35Speaker 1: a game. Marsh Madness actually has the highest ratings it's
- 2:39Speaker 1: ever had produced. Gambling getting knocked out, Kansas getting knocked out.
- 2:46Speaker 1: We got people gambling. We got TCU with a backdoor
- 2:50Speaker 1: bad beat for the ages. We got Princeton advancing, we
- 2:54Speaker 1: got fairly Dickinson advancing. So far, the coach got a
- 2:57Speaker 1: new contract today to go to IONA and replace Rick Patino.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And yet it's NFL. And we're going to talk more
- 3:06Speaker 1: about the NFL with my other BF and Action Network
- 3:12Speaker 1: gog Chris raybon, Our, NFL analyst. NFL analysts limits him
- 3:18Speaker 1: too much. He can't be confined because he does so
- 3:20Speaker 1: much NBA too. Before we bring in Chris, I gotta
- 3:24Speaker 1: remind people because I've been talking about game Time for
- 3:27Speaker 1: so many episodes, the fastest growing ticketing app in the
- 3:31Speaker 1: United States. I love game Time, honestly, I use it
- 3:34Speaker 1: all the time. And if you're looking to get out

- 4:25Speaker 1: tickets lows price, Garrong Team Raybon Yo Bears. Simon and
- 4:33Speaker 1: I've been talking about the Bears. I bet the Bears
- 4:35Speaker 1: at one hundred to one to win the Super Bowl
- 4:39Speaker 1: the day after the Super Bowl. You've decided to join
- 4:44Speaker 1: the bandwagon. Welcome to the club, Welcome to the podcast.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, and yeah, I love the Bears
- 4:51Speaker 1: this year. I mean, you look at this team and
- 4:55Speaker 1: you got Justin Fields. I don't think there's any quarterback
- 4:59Speaker 1: in the di vision that's gonna be significantly better than him. Obviously,
- 5:04Speaker 1: you know you have Cousins. You know, Goff when he's
- 5:07Speaker 1: at home. But this team not only improved their roster
- 5:13Speaker 1: drastically in free agency. I mean every player they signed
- 5:16Speaker 1: was you know, near the top of you know, essentially
- 5:19Speaker 1: in their prime that they signed. You know, Nate Davis
- 5:23Speaker 1: was the top twenty guard. You have DJ Moore, Deyonce Forming,
- 5:28Speaker 1: DeMarcus Walker, Billings, Tremain, Edwins, TJ Edwards. I mean, these
- 5:32Speaker 1: guys were all playing very well last year, so if
- 5:36Speaker 1: they can carry that over, that's just gonna be a
- 5:39Speaker 1: massive talent infusion. And then you still got ten draft picks,
- 5:43Speaker 1: four in the top sixty four. You got the most
- 5:46Speaker 1: cap space in the league. I really like this Chicago
- 5:51Speaker 1: Bear team, especially because you look at Green Bay, They're
- 5:54Speaker 1: not gonna be the same. Minnesota was a bottom six
- 5:57Speaker 1: team in terms of overall DVO. They won a lot
- 6:01Speaker 1: of one score games those that usually regresses from one
- 6:04Speaker 1: year to the next. And then you got Detroit, and
- 6:09Speaker 1: I think Detroit will be good as well, but Detroit
- 6:12Speaker 1: is already priced up. You know, everyone's expected I'm gonna
- 6:15Speaker 1: win a division already, So give me some Chicago all
- 6:19Speaker 1: of the futures. But I like their Division odds at
- 6:22Speaker 1: three to one. I really think they are in play
- 6:25Speaker 1: this year. I think they're set up for now and
- 6:28Speaker 1: they're set up for the future. Sweet Home Chicago, Simon,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I'm just giving you a chance to dip, brother. That's
- 6:39Speaker 1: that's all it is. So tell me you're thinking, because
- 6:42Speaker 1: I do. I have a very specific question for you
- 6:44Speaker 1: and for Matt Mitchell, Buffalo Bill superfan Matt Mitchell about Edmonds,
- 6:49Speaker 1: who Raybund just mentioned, who the Bears signed from the
- 6:51Speaker 1: Buffalo Bills. But give me your take. Yeah, I'm I'm
- 6:55Speaker 1: all in on them. I just we when the season ended,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I knew the Bears were going to be a team
- 7:00Speaker 1: that the Lion was going to run on, just because
- 7:03Speaker 1: the pros were going to be all over it. Like
- 7:05Speaker 1: the public, they're stupid, they'll never kind of understand what
- 7:07Speaker 1: we're looking at here. Where the same thing as the
- 7:09Speaker 1: Jags last year? Did I really think the Jaguars are
- 7:11Speaker 1: gonna win the Super Bowl when they were at one
- 7:13Speaker 1: hundred and fifty one. But me and Chad talked about
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's all about taking a position of a team that
- 7:17Speaker 1: we thought they had a good chance and win the division,
- 7:19Speaker 1: which means they're gonna be a four seed or better
- 7:21Speaker 1: and they'll be at home in the playoffs, which is
- 7:23Speaker 1: a great position to hedge on. So it's the same
- 7:25Speaker 1: thing in the Bears. Here. It's not that it's all
- 7:28Speaker 1: fallen into place chat, but it's it doesn't get much
- 7:31Speaker 1: better than it's gone this offseason. You got the MVP,
- 7:34Speaker 1: the Hall of Famer Rodgers leaving your division, getting a
- 7:37Speaker 1: replaced by an unproven kid in Jordan Love. You have
- 7:40Speaker 1: the Vikings won the division. Now they're got to play
- 7:43Speaker 1: a first place schedule. I mean they're losing guys left
- 7:46Speaker 1: and right as well, the Vikings. So this Bears team,
- 7:49Speaker 1: everything they've done this offseason has been a positive. They're
- 7:52Speaker 1: one of the few teams that you know, most teams
- 7:55Speaker 1: are gonna have a couple nags. They're gonna lose a
- 7:56Speaker 1: couple of guys. You guys really have anything to lose, right,
- 7:59Speaker 1: You kind of have had been bare bones, you'd stripped
- 8:01Speaker 1: everything down, but you had to keep piece and the
- 8:04Speaker 1: key piece was a rookie that's talented on the rookie
- 8:07Speaker 1: pay scale at your quarterback position. Now, do we know
- 8:10Speaker 1: how good of a thrower justin fields is? No, we
- 8:13Speaker 1: don't well, you know, he's incredible one one aspect of offense,
- 8:16Speaker 1: which is running, so right there, that was a huge
- 8:18Speaker 1: advantage for us. And the fact that they've now gone
- 8:21Speaker 1: out and added a guy like DJ and more chat.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It's I don't know how Bear fans are taking it,
- 8:25Speaker 1: but as someone that loves watching DJ Moore's tape, he
- 8:28Speaker 1: could easily be a top five wide receiver in football.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And he's young as hell, So that's what I mean.
- 8:33Speaker 1: There's just you guys have done so much. I think
- 8:34Speaker 1: Chris nailed on the head of name and all the
- 8:36Speaker 1: guys you've added this offseason, the defensive side as well
- 8:39Speaker 1: as the offensive line. It's just all good chat. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: you still have money to spend. That's the craziest part.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You still have a couple more moves than make even
- 8:46Speaker 1: before this draft even happened. So we've seen, like Chad
- 8:49Speaker 1: talked about, we got them at one hundred and one,
- 8:50Speaker 1: we got them at eighty to one, we got them
- 8:52Speaker 1: at seventy to one. They're down in most books now
- 8:54Speaker 1: have forty to one, thirty five to one to win
- 8:56Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. And I could still see it keep
- 8:58Speaker 1: dropping if they keep adding a good piece years. So Hey,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to kind of trying to keep chatting line here,
- 9:03Speaker 1: but holy shit, the Bears are just killing it right now.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You don't know how Bears fans feel. We're fucking losing it.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Like I am trying so hard not to increase expectations
- 9:20Speaker 1: because I do want to remember, Justin Fields is only
- 9:24Speaker 1: in the second year of this offense, and the truth
- 9:27Speaker 1: is they didn't even start implementing the kind of offense
- 9:30Speaker 1: they're playing in the latter half of the year until
- 9:33Speaker 1: after that. I think it was weeks six or seven
- 9:36Speaker 1: against Washington, and so Ann Fields was banged up at
- 9:39Speaker 1: the end of the year. So he's barely played in
- 9:43Speaker 1: the offense that they're going to be playing in when
- 9:46Speaker 1: the year begins. But I will contend that Josh Allen
- 9:53Speaker 1: was not Josh Allen until he got Stefan Dix. And
- 9:57Speaker 1: so if to me, Josh Allen is the analog for
- 10:00Speaker 1: Justin Fields, they say Justin Fields is inaccurate, but who's
- 10:04Speaker 1: he throwing too? And so you give him a top
- 10:08Speaker 1: flight receiver like DJ Moore, and I think all of
- 10:11Speaker 1: a sudden, you're changing his trajectory and increasing his ability
- 10:16Speaker 1: to be accurate because you're getting a guy who can
- 10:18Speaker 1: catch the ball. His catch radius is greater. He's going
- 10:21Speaker 1: to get to more balls that otherwise would not have
- 10:23Speaker 1: been caught. So the downside, if I may ray bound,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you mentioned Tremaine Edmunds all week. I've been getting that
- 10:38Speaker 1: from Simon and from Matt Mitchell. This Tremaine Edmunds. Can
- 10:42Speaker 1: you believe he's only twenty four, He's been in the
- 10:44Speaker 1: league for ten years already. Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Do you think he's a good player, Yes, yes, he's
- 10:51Speaker 1: a good player. Now he's a linebacker, and you know,
- 10:54Speaker 1: live backers are a little tougher to judge sometimes. But
- 10:59Speaker 1: I think he really took a step forward last year. Now,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I thought last year was his best year. I didn't
- 11:04Speaker 1: think he really had a great year until last year.
- 11:08Speaker 1: But I mean, I think his coverage, his past coverage
- 11:12Speaker 1: really improved last year. You know, I think he can
- 11:15Speaker 1: do it all now and if you look at you know,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and obviously this is not the end all be all,
- 11:21Speaker 1: but you know, something like PF grades, he was a
- 11:24Speaker 1: top five linebacker last year, you know, right there, you
- 11:28Speaker 1: know him and t J. Edwards are both top ten
- 11:29Speaker 1: guys in their grades, and Tremay and Edmonds had never
- 11:32Speaker 1: had a grade. I don't even think he was average
- 11:35Speaker 1: before last year. So a little bit of a one
- 11:38Speaker 1: hit wonder. But you know the talent is there you
- 11:40Speaker 1: and you know the tools are there, so you always
- 11:42Speaker 1: kind of expected him to come into his own. But
- 11:46Speaker 1: that's kind of the case across the board for everyone
- 11:49Speaker 1: the Bear signed. You look at how they graded out
- 11:52Speaker 1: top of their position, you look at how they were
- 11:54Speaker 1: playing on tape last year, top of their position. And
- 11:59Speaker 1: let me just say, why stop with Josh Allen. Why
- 12:02Speaker 1: don't we compare justin fields to somebody who actually made
- 12:06Speaker 1: it to a Super Bowl. Jaywen Hurts wasn't Jaywen Hurts,
- 12:09Speaker 1: So they got a j Brown? So WHOA? Now? Ravens
- 12:14Speaker 1: just throwing shade at Matt Mitchel and the Buffalo Bills. Look,
- 12:18Speaker 1: I will contend that the Buffalo Bills window it's closed.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Like God, they are. They are third in that conference
- 12:28Speaker 1: behind the Chiefs and the Bengals. Right now, I think
- 12:32Speaker 1: the Dolphins are nipping at their heels. I would be
- 12:36Speaker 1: very worried if I were a Buffalo Bills fan right now.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Matt Mitchell, all I'm seeing right now in the zoom
- 12:43Speaker 1: as we record this podcast is Matt Mitchell smiling picture
- 12:46Speaker 1: of photo and I'm very curious to know, like what
- 12:49Speaker 1: his face looks like for real, but he won't come
- 12:51Speaker 1: on the video. Simon, you can you laugh when I
- 12:55Speaker 1: said that about the Buffalo Bills. But I'm down on
- 12:58Speaker 1: this team right now, and I'm high on Tremaine Edmonds.
- 13:01Speaker 1: But why are you and Matt Mitchell giving me such
- 13:03Speaker 1: a hard time about the Tremaine Edmunds signing? Well, I'll
- 13:07Speaker 1: just bush your balls because it's just so much money
- 13:08Speaker 1: to give to the kid. I mean, I'm agree. I
- 13:11Speaker 1: agree with Chris. I think last year was a great
- 13:12Speaker 1: year for him, but they're paying him if he's gonna
- 13:16Speaker 1: be an all pro, so now he needs to be
- 13:19Speaker 1: an approach and that's that's high expectations for the kid.
- 13:21Speaker 1: But I'm complete out with you on the Bills. I
- 13:25Speaker 1: think the Bills they're still in the window to me,
- 13:28Speaker 1: they still got all the key pieces there. Josh Allen
- 13:32Speaker 1: was hurt, like that's why people are taking a lot
- 13:35Speaker 1: of shots to Josh Allen from last year. You can
- 13:37Speaker 1: go back and watch the film. He changed his throwing
- 13:39Speaker 1: style just because he was laboring on that elbow. So
- 13:42Speaker 1: the Bills. If this is how a lot of people
- 13:44Speaker 1: feel like Chad does, this is the dream. If you're
- 13:46Speaker 1: a Bills fan, Like last year, I should on mL season,
- 13:50Speaker 1: not because I wanted to, just because of no world
- 13:52Speaker 1: should they have been the favorites to win a Super Bowl.
- 13:54Speaker 1: They're an unimproven team that the public just fell in
- 13:57Speaker 1: love with because they felt like they were unlucky. This
- 13:59Speaker 1: is even better. You want the public to be add
- 14:01Speaker 1: on them. So as someone that wants to bet the Bills,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I hope the public feels like that like the Chad does,
- 14:07Speaker 1: and maybe they start owing two and I can get
- 14:09Speaker 1: them at fourteen to one or fifteen to one to
- 14:11Speaker 1: win the Super Bowl and that tough AFC. So to me,
- 14:15Speaker 1: the Bills, that will be a buy low if if
- 14:17Speaker 1: people feel this way, because I'm with Chad. The people
- 14:20Speaker 1: like the New Toys and the Jets. When they get Rodgers,
- 14:23Speaker 1: they're going to be the all hype team. I mean,
- 14:24Speaker 1: we're seeing there at fourteen to one now the Jets
- 14:27Speaker 1: are fourteen to one. So that's just one of those
- 14:29Speaker 1: things where the public is really stupid. They kind of
- 14:32Speaker 1: like the New toy and the Jets in that division,
- 14:35Speaker 1: they're gonna be the new toy. And I'm again I
- 14:37Speaker 1: don't want to shoot on the Bills too hard, but
- 14:39Speaker 1: Chad's not too far off. Their window is closing very
- 14:43Speaker 1: quickly here, so I think this year, maybe next year,
- 14:46Speaker 1: maybe they will be when the window closes. But I
- 14:47Speaker 1: still think they're tolling out of I still put them
- 14:50Speaker 1: as a top three, top two team in the AFC.
- 14:53Speaker 1: What do you think of my Bill's hot take, Raybun,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I think that when you look at the Bills a vacuum,
- 15:01Speaker 1: you say they didn't get better any off season. But
- 15:05Speaker 1: I don't think the Bengals got better. I think the
- 15:07Speaker 1: Bengals got worse, and I think the Chiefs got worse.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So it's kind of a wash there. And then you
- 15:15Speaker 1: got the Jets. But first of all, the Jets are,
- 15:19Speaker 1: like Simon said, they're already way too over priced. I mean,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I went back and looked at the Packers odds entering
- 15:29Speaker 1: the season after Rogers was coming off his MVPs over
- 15:34Speaker 1: the last couple of years, and they were twelve to
- 15:38Speaker 1: one and twenty to one. So the Jets of fourteen
- 15:41Speaker 1: to one and Aaron Rodgers coming off pretty much his
- 15:43Speaker 1: worst season of the last ten really pretty much of
- 15:48Speaker 1: his career. I mean, I think last season was worse
- 15:51Speaker 1: than even some of those ones in the you know,
- 15:53Speaker 1: before he won the MVP, he was kind of falling off.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So I think the Jets are way over priced and
- 15:58Speaker 1: just going back, you know, with Evans and the money
- 16:01Speaker 1: they're paying them. You could do that when you got
- 16:03Speaker 1: your quarterback on a rookie deal and you got the
- 16:05Speaker 1: most cap space in the league. You know, linebacker is
- 16:08Speaker 1: not a premium position, but if you want to make
- 16:11Speaker 1: sure to you know, to to that that you're good
- 16:14Speaker 1: at that position, you could throw money at it when
- 16:16Speaker 1: you got a quarterback on a rookie deal and and
- 16:18Speaker 1: kind of what the Bears have. So they're kind of
- 16:20Speaker 1: a unique situation where I don't think some of these moves,
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know, would work for another team, but for the Bears,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I think they work a lot more. When linebackers get
- 16:32Speaker 1: to Chicago, they transform into monsters. That is just the
- 16:38Speaker 1: way it goes. That is history, fellas. Let the old
- 16:42Speaker 1: guy teach you a little bit about history. Treman Edmunds
- 16:47Speaker 1: will be in All Pro this year because he will
- 16:50Speaker 1: be the latest in the pantheon of the monsters of
- 16:54Speaker 1: the Midway? Are we not even We're not even going
- 16:56Speaker 1: to give any love to uh to Edwards a better
- 17:01Speaker 1: linebacker the two. I mean, as good as Edmunds was
- 17:04Speaker 1: last year, Edwards is. You know, he's been doing this though.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm so excited about Edwards. Like to me, they have
- 17:09Speaker 1: in one fell swoop and expensive swoop, the Bears have
- 17:14Speaker 1: rebuilt their linebacking corps and solidified the middle of their defense,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and I think it's outstanding. I think Edwards was a
- 17:21Speaker 1: phenomenal player for the Eagles last year, a great leader
- 17:24Speaker 1: player like Simon. You watched him more than I did. Yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 1: biggest jump by far of anyone the Eagles defense. He
- 17:31Speaker 1: was kind of a guy that was like, Okay, we'll
- 17:34Speaker 1: bring in Dean here, we'll draft the kid out of Georgia.
- 17:36Speaker 1: He'll probably step in some We'll have Edwards just like
- 17:38Speaker 1: cover linebacker. He was already one of our best tacklers,
- 17:41Speaker 1: one of the leaders on defense. So I'm glad you
- 17:43Speaker 1: got paid. I think you guys got him on a
- 17:45Speaker 1: good deal. Like I think he still was getting paid
- 17:47Speaker 1: as if you know, prove it again, do it again,
- 17:49Speaker 1: kind of deal. I love that signing for you guys
- 17:52Speaker 1: again to two really good linebackers. That should solidify. What
- 17:55Speaker 1: do you guys gonna run a three four defense? I
- 17:57Speaker 1: believe so. Um pretty interesting moves by the Bear defense,
- 18:01Speaker 1: especially now if Carter might drop Allay down to ninth,
- 18:03Speaker 1: you get that guy in the middle. It's it could
- 18:06Speaker 1: all be breaking right for this Bears team. It's gonna
- 18:09Speaker 1: be very It has a you know what it has.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Years ago, before the Buccaneers won their first Super Bowl,
- 18:18Speaker 1: Warren Sap was supposed to be a top five pick
- 18:21Speaker 1: and dropped down to the Bucks I think at twelve
- 18:25Speaker 1: because there were rumors about smoking marijuana or you failed
- 18:30Speaker 1: a drug test like idiotic stuff. The Bucks got a
- 18:34Speaker 1: Hall of Famer. You know, they got a top five
- 18:36Speaker 1: pick mid first round. They got a Hall of Famer.

- 20:38Speaker 1: latest mock I saw that was on Action Network dot com.
- 20:43Speaker 1: By the way, CJ. Stroud number one, Bryce Young to
- 20:48Speaker 1: Will Anderson three, Anthony Richardson for Will Levis at seven
- 20:55Speaker 1: to the Raiders. I'm glad to see at least one
- 20:58Speaker 1: mock draft that has CJ. Stroud as the number one
- 21:01Speaker 1: overall pick, because it is absurd to me that Anthony
- 21:04Speaker 1: Richardson or Bryce Young would get love as the number
- 21:07Speaker 1: one pick. It's not fucking peewee football, okay, and it's
- 21:12Speaker 1: not a developmental league. So go with a guy who
- 21:15Speaker 1: you've at least seen enough film on to be able
- 21:17Speaker 1: to say, oh, yeah, this guy's a legitimate quarterback, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: I think he's got enough upside here. So I'm like
- 21:23Speaker 1: that CJ. Stroud is now getting some love at number
- 21:26Speaker 1: one from the Panthers, Simon, and you're shaking your head
- 21:29Speaker 1: in the affirmative or the negative. Well, I agree with it.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I've finally moved CJ at my number one spot. I
- 21:36Speaker 1: did have Bryce there for a while, then once I
- 21:38Speaker 1: got into this offseason, I moved him quickly to the
- 21:41Speaker 1: second round, just because I talked about I don't think
- 21:43Speaker 1: he has the body for the NFL. So I've I
- 21:45Speaker 1: kind of moved CG up to one. I've been flipping
- 21:47Speaker 1: back and forth with him and him and Anthony and
- 21:50Speaker 1: I agree CJ should be the number one guy. He's
- 21:52Speaker 1: got the body, he's got the arm, he's got the mind,
- 21:55Speaker 1: he's talented. My only knock is, you know, it's just
- 22:00Speaker 1: there's a couple of things you talk about where you
- 22:02Speaker 1: don't I get where you're coming from, Chab, but you
- 22:05Speaker 1: just don't want to finish product. That's the biggest thing
- 22:07Speaker 1: is you want you want that piece of clay, but
- 22:09Speaker 1: you want to mold it in your own way. And
- 22:11Speaker 1: the reason I love Anthony richards Is so much is
- 22:13Speaker 1: that this kid, he's got everything right now except the brain.
- 22:17Speaker 1: And a lot of these coaches, once they get your hand,
- 22:19Speaker 1: their hands on these guys, even if they don't have
- 22:21Speaker 1: the brain, if they have to have this. I mean
- 22:23Speaker 1: Daniel Jones. Yes, you could say you went to Duke.
- 22:25Speaker 1: The kid might be an idiot for all I know,
- 22:27Speaker 1: but I saw once he got a good coach, the
- 22:29Speaker 1: coach could take advantage of that athletic ability. He built
- 22:32Speaker 1: that offense around him. Daniel Jones just had a career
- 22:35Speaker 1: year and just got paid a shit ton of money.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And that's what I'm kind of thinking with Richardson where
- 22:38Speaker 1: I don't know if Richard is gonna be great in
- 22:40Speaker 1: the NFL, but I do know is a kid can run.
- 22:42Speaker 1: And I knew That's why, you know, when I pitched
- 22:45Speaker 1: you him at whatever that was fifty to one or
- 22:48Speaker 1: whatever to be the first pick, I didn't really think
- 22:49Speaker 1: he was gonna be the first pick. I just thought
- 22:51Speaker 1: this kid is gonna have an athleticism that's gonna really
- 22:53Speaker 1: shine in these drills. And it's gonna move up the
- 22:55Speaker 1: draft board now the team i'm consulting with, I can
- 22:58Speaker 1: tell you this much. When I pitched him in well,
- 23:02Speaker 1: whether that was early February, I thought I was gonna
- 23:05Speaker 1: be fired on the spot. These people looked at me like,
- 23:07Speaker 1: who the hell is this ter Brownie talking about Anthony Richardson.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And that's completely flipped where I think now that I've
- 23:14Speaker 1: talked to these guys were often I think more people
- 23:16Speaker 1: are coming to this side, and that's why you've seen
- 23:17Speaker 1: him shoot up this draft board. But if I was
- 23:20Speaker 1: still if I had the first pick, if I'm trying
- 23:22Speaker 1: to be safe, right, if I'm if I'm my guy
- 23:25Speaker 1: like Frank Reich, who's you know, he's dealt with a
- 23:28Speaker 1: lot of BS over his early coaching career and now
- 23:30Speaker 1: he's in Carolina, I'd played safe agost CJ. But if
- 23:33Speaker 1: I was a team like Houston that needed to make
- 23:37Speaker 1: a big splash, an AFC that has we can say,
- 23:41Speaker 1: five really good young quarterbacks, it's got to be Richardson.
- 23:45Speaker 1: He's got the highest upside of anyone in this draft.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So to me, I still think he should be the
- 23:50Speaker 1: number two. The only thing with Houston that sucks is
- 23:52Speaker 1: I think of Houston, the owner's gonna be making that
- 23:55Speaker 1: decision there. I don't think it's people are gonna be
- 23:57Speaker 1: pitching to this guy. But I think in the end
- 23:59Speaker 1: it's it's his decision. And right now, from everything I've heard,
- 24:03Speaker 1: it seems like it's going to be Bryce. So I
- 24:06Speaker 1: think that's the wrong way to look at it. I
- 24:07Speaker 1: think he's looking at like you do, Chad, where you
- 24:09Speaker 1: want to finish product. You want the guy you know
- 24:11Speaker 1: that's gonna be good. I do agree Bryce would be
- 24:13Speaker 1: good in the NFL. I think he can play. I
- 24:15Speaker 1: just don't think he has an upside of ever being
- 24:17Speaker 1: a top five guy. He just does not, to me
- 24:19Speaker 1: have that upside where Richardson does. So it has been
- 24:22Speaker 1: NonStop back and forth with people with this draft season.
- 24:26Speaker 1: It's been really fun because you have such polarizing quarterbacks here,
- 24:29Speaker 1: and you know, I might die in a hill here
- 24:33Speaker 1: with Auntrew Anthony Richardson. But to me, it was more
- 24:36Speaker 1: about me just taking a position, like it's not an
- 24:38Speaker 1: easy hedge. Now if I want to take CJ, I
- 24:40Speaker 1: can take him now. Whatever it is minus two hundred
- 24:43Speaker 1: or minus two fifty, you be the first pick. That's
- 24:46Speaker 1: an easy hedge. If you had richardson a foty to
- 24:48Speaker 1: one or greater or even ten to one, it's still
- 24:50Speaker 1: an easy hedge. So to me, that was my whole
- 24:53Speaker 1: love for him. But I mean, I'm interests here what
- 24:55Speaker 1: Chris's view is because you know, we just we have
- 24:59Speaker 1: not seen an Ohio State quarterback workout chat. I don't
- 25:02Speaker 1: want to shoot on Justin Fields. It just has not
- 25:04Speaker 1: happened in my lifetime. Now, you could say Joe Burrow did.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Joe Burrow wasn't nothing until he went to LSU. Once
- 25:10Speaker 1: he got that confidence at LSU, that's what kind of
- 25:13Speaker 1: changed Joe Burrow, Like, that's what changed his whole playing style.
- 25:16Speaker 1: That wasn't Ohio State Joe Brow. So that's my big
- 25:19Speaker 1: weird here chat is just Ohio State. They always have
- 25:23Speaker 1: a Marvin Harrison junior wide receiver that makes these quarterbacks
- 25:26Speaker 1: look incredible. Well, I don't know how good these quarterbacks
- 25:29Speaker 1: really are. So like Justin Fields, I think the kids
- 25:32Speaker 1: got all this talent in the world. He sister hasn't
- 25:34Speaker 1: proved in NFL. That's my only paulse the CG. I
- 25:37Speaker 1: think CJ has got all the talent. I just they
- 25:39Speaker 1: don't have the history, Like the Ohio State just has
- 25:42Speaker 1: not produced winning quarterbacks in the NFL and anyone's lifetime.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Literally we got one hundred years in the NFL here
- 25:49Speaker 1: and there ain't one Ohio State guy I can think of.
- 25:52Speaker 1: So that's my biggest pause right now. This Ohio State
- 25:55Speaker 1: quarterback going one in this draft. Yeah, I mean I'm
- 25:59Speaker 1: higher on Iceton. I guess you are. I think I
- 26:02Speaker 1: think he has a high floor and a high ceiling.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I mean, how many times when people written off guys
- 26:07Speaker 1: because of their because of their size or whatnot, you
- 26:10Speaker 1: end up getting some guys that end up being like
- 26:13Speaker 1: Hall of Fame caliber Drew Brees, Russell Wilson at least
- 26:16Speaker 1: until you know, the last couple of years. So Doug Flutie,
- 26:21Speaker 1: you know now, So I don't mind Bryce Young at
- 26:25Speaker 1: number one. It's a good point about the Ohio State quarterbacks.
- 26:28Speaker 1: But I think, you know, especially you know, as the
- 26:30Speaker 1: game is starting to change. I think it's I think
- 26:34Speaker 1: it's gonna start change. I think Justin Fields, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 1: we talked about how much we love Chicago. Obviously, you know,
- 26:40Speaker 1: Justin Fields is gonna have to play well, and I
- 26:42Speaker 1: thought he did. You know, I thought he took a
- 26:44Speaker 1: big step in and just watching him, I mean, you
- 26:47Speaker 1: could tell get this guy some weapons. I mean, let's
- 26:49Speaker 1: not forget his wide receivers last year were I mean,
- 26:53Speaker 1: I don't even remember it was an Ecuonymius, Saint Brown
- 26:56Speaker 1: and oh man, I can't even name these guys right now,
- 26:59Speaker 1: like it was mad Byron Pringle, um Nikkill Harry, you know,
- 27:03Speaker 1: outside of Mooney, it was bad. So um. You know,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I think I think with you still, you know, if
- 27:10Speaker 1: if Carolina, I think Carolina might actually go Bryce. Um.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I think Richardson stilln't play for them as well. But
- 27:16Speaker 1: you know, whoever gets CJ, I think, you know, the
- 27:19Speaker 1: team around him is obviously going to be important. I
- 27:22Speaker 1: think the development is going to be important. But you know,
- 27:26Speaker 1: looking at Frank Reikan and Carolina, you know, he had
- 27:32Speaker 1: Andrew Luck and then it was taken away from him,
- 27:34Speaker 1: and then ever since then, he's just been playing the
- 27:38Speaker 1: quarterback roulette. And so I think a guy like Bryce Young,
- 27:42Speaker 1: a high floor guy, probably is going to appeal to him.
- 27:46Speaker 1: A guy that you know, kind of like Andrew Luck
- 27:49Speaker 1: can come in there and and give you some semblance
- 27:52Speaker 1: of a floor not be as much of a developmental prospect.
- 27:55Speaker 1: So that's why I think Carolina may actually be leaning
- 27:59Speaker 1: uh young over Richardson or Stroud. That's just my opinion.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I know he's never coached, he's never killed your quarterback
- 28:06Speaker 1: under six three though, Frank Reich, I mean, yes, that
- 28:10Speaker 1: is true, But I still think Frank Reich is gonna
- 28:14Speaker 1: look at like height is one variable, right, It's one
- 28:16Speaker 1: piece of data, right, you know that size is one
- 28:19Speaker 1: piece of data. There are a lot of you know,
- 28:21Speaker 1: pieces of data. Every quarterback class is unique. I just think,
- 28:25Speaker 1: you know, when faced with the choice of these three guys,
- 28:29Speaker 1: I think that's who he will roll it. I could
- 28:32Speaker 1: be get wrong, but that that's just my you know,
- 28:34Speaker 1: early lean as of now, I think Wright goes with
- 28:38Speaker 1: kind of safe guy and just rich was kind of
- 28:40Speaker 1: a safe, you know pick for Carolina, even as a
- 28:43Speaker 1: head coach. I just think that's kind of the route
- 28:45Speaker 1: they want to go. I don't think they want to
- 28:47Speaker 1: I don't think they want to play games. And like
- 28:49Speaker 1: you know, with on his pick after they just uh
- 28:53Speaker 1: you know, traded on his draft capital. So that's just
- 28:54Speaker 1: my opinion, and I'm not saying it's even right, you know,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's correct, but I'm just saying that,
- 29:00Speaker 1: knowing Frank right and knowing this organization, I would actually
- 29:04Speaker 1: have money on Young going to Carolina. I feel like Simon,
- 29:08Speaker 1: the whole hype thing for Frank Reich, that's a bullshit
- 29:13Speaker 1: stat Like, how many times has Frank Reich in his career?
- 29:17Speaker 1: You got to pick a new quarterback every year for
- 29:19Speaker 1: like four years? Yeah, but but as an assistant coach,
- 29:22Speaker 1: as a coordinator, as a head coach, he's never been
- 29:27Speaker 1: in a position to control the players on his roster.
- 29:32Speaker 1: When he was Yeah, I just told you. He was
- 29:33Speaker 1: in the Colts. Every year he got to pick his quarterback. Okay,
- 29:37Speaker 1: but there's there's there's only so many quarterbacks that are
- 29:39Speaker 1: short anyway, So it's right, like it's just I get
- 29:42Speaker 1: what you're saying, but no, no, I agree, I agree.
- 29:47Speaker 1: I agree with that. But what I'm saying is you can't,
- 29:50Speaker 1: because there's a lack of short quarterbacks in general, just
- 29:54Speaker 1: you can't necessarily just say, well, because I'll send you
- 29:58Speaker 1: a of a short quarterback, he will never have one.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Because the odds are for you could take anybody in
- 30:04Speaker 1: the league. The odds are they're not gonna have a
- 30:07Speaker 1: short quarterback because there aren't many of them, Like Frank
- 30:09Speaker 1: Reich was not in a position to get like Drew
- 30:12Speaker 1: Brees or Russell Wilson or Kyler Murray. You know, it's
- 30:15Speaker 1: like there's only so many short quarterbacks in the league.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'll send you the clip of him talking about where
- 30:21Speaker 1: he was. Basically it was him talking about Carson Wentz
- 30:23Speaker 1: and why he likes that kind of that big body
- 30:25Speaker 1: because he was the OC when they drafted Wentz and
- 30:28Speaker 1: he's basically the sole pitch was you want a guy
- 30:31Speaker 1: that can take the hits because I need a guy
- 30:32Speaker 1: that can stand in there and make the throws. Do
- 30:35Speaker 1: you really think Bryce Young can take these hits guys?
- 30:37Speaker 1: I mean, that's why I like, I'm trying to shoot
- 30:39Speaker 1: him the kid too much, because I'm with you, he
- 30:40Speaker 1: has a ton of upside. It's just we've gone too
- 30:43Speaker 1: much the other way where it's like this kid who's
- 30:45Speaker 1: weighing in at one eight eighty five plane weight, it's
- 30:48Speaker 1: over like three hundred three twenty five laying on top
- 30:51Speaker 1: of Bryce Young. It's over. So to me, that's why
- 30:54Speaker 1: I think CJ is a safe pick. It's like I
- 30:56Speaker 1: don't I hate shooting on Bryce Young because I'm with you,
- 30:59Speaker 1: Like this kid's tape. He is so good and he's
- 31:01Speaker 1: so smart. But it's just the body. It's like Hurch
- 31:05Speaker 1: had the lower body, Wilson had the lower body. This
- 31:09Speaker 1: kid does not have the lower body in any way.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I just think we're overthinking it. It's like all these guys,
- 31:16Speaker 1: like it's not even just a quarterback position. All right,
- 31:19Speaker 1: but let's go back to some of these other guys
- 31:21Speaker 1: who we've questioned because of their size, like uh again,
- 31:25Speaker 1: Drew Brees, Lamar Jackson, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, Like these guys,
- 31:32Speaker 1: Tyler hasn't held up Lamars and held up but okay, okay,
- 31:35Speaker 1: but but these guys they held up enough for them
- 31:38Speaker 1: to be getting you know, uh, you know, upers of
- 31:41Speaker 1: two hundred million dollar offers. Like it's a relative thing.
- 31:45Speaker 1: It's like like there's there's about twenty four franchises, twenty
- 31:49Speaker 1: six franchises in the league that would love to have
- 31:52Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray apparently not though apparently not
- 31:56Speaker 1: my guy. So that's all. It's just in the NFL,
- 31:59Speaker 1: I think they shifted where they're like, yeah, we want
- 32:01Speaker 1: the Russell Wilson type, and now they're kind of moving
- 32:03Speaker 1: back where it's like do we want that? Like is
- 32:06Speaker 1: that the future? Because again I just think it's these
- 32:11Speaker 1: hits man availability is the key to football. It's I
- 32:14Speaker 1: am all for Bryce Young. I think he's gonna be
- 32:17Speaker 1: a good pro. It's just for me personally. I wouldn't
- 32:20Speaker 1: touch him because of that. It's just like I just
- 32:22Speaker 1: have no faith this kid holding up. I don't care
- 32:24Speaker 1: how much weight gainer he's eating before these combines. He's
- 32:27Speaker 1: not gonna be playing at two oh five. That's just
- 32:29Speaker 1: not natural bodyweight for him. So that's my biggest pause
- 32:32Speaker 1: for them. Again, I hate shitting on the kid. Who
- 32:34Speaker 1: the fuck am I shitting on a kid who's about
- 32:36Speaker 1: to be the second pick or first pick in the
- 32:38Speaker 1: NFL draft. But that's just part of my job where
- 32:40Speaker 1: it's like I'm pitching to this team right now, please
- 32:43Speaker 1: stay away from him, and the owners looking at me
- 32:45Speaker 1: like I fucking like, Bryce Young, who the fuck are you?
- 32:48Speaker 1: So it's tough. It is really tough where it's like
- 32:51Speaker 1: I can't predict the future, but I can go back
- 32:53Speaker 1: in time and try to tell people. It's like Miami
- 32:56Speaker 1: taking too. It was a huge mistake. They should have
- 32:59Speaker 1: took Herbert. Herbert had the body for the NFL too.
- 33:02Speaker 1: It didn't That to me would have flipped it right
- 33:04Speaker 1: there because both them had the same cred entrance coming out.
- 33:06Speaker 1: They're both really a high level talent the two. I
- 33:09Speaker 1: got the bump because he was so special on the
- 33:11Speaker 1: National championship. Herbert really did do much right in Oregon.
- 33:14Speaker 1: His senior year was kind of a dud. Now we
- 33:16Speaker 1: look the other way, It's like, yes, Herbert hasn't done
- 33:19Speaker 1: much in his career, but he's held up other than
- 33:21Speaker 1: it's getting him crack ribs, he's held up in the NFL.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And that's my whole thing. It's like these big bodies,
- 33:26Speaker 1: the reason these guys hold up were the little guys.
- 33:28Speaker 1: They really don't. I feel you. I just feel like
- 33:33Speaker 1: there's everyone has the potential to get injured, and especially
- 33:37Speaker 1: at the quarterback position. It's hard to evaluate and find
- 33:42Speaker 1: guys who can play. And I I just know Bryce
- 33:45Speaker 1: young to play, like I'll figure out everything else, Like
- 33:47Speaker 1: because I get like we talked about a lot of
- 33:49Speaker 1: these teams with elite quarterbacks, guys are missing games anywhere,
- 33:53Speaker 1: so right, that's just my philosophy. I get it, but
- 33:57Speaker 1: it's just like I can't I can't get I te
- 34:00Speaker 1: you that a guy like Richesting could play, you know,
- 34:03Speaker 1: the way I could were young. So that that's just
- 34:05Speaker 1: how I look at it. You know, if it was
- 34:08Speaker 1: if it was kind of more of a toss up,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I would say okay. But to me, I just think
- 34:13Speaker 1: I just think Bryce is a little bit more of
- 34:15Speaker 1: a short thing. But it's it's a philosophical difference. But
- 34:18Speaker 1: I totally understand. Simon said the key phrase overthinking. He said,
- 34:24Speaker 1: don't overthink it. I think we have to overthink it
- 34:27Speaker 1: because otherwise, what are we doing here? It's five fucking
- 34:31Speaker 1: months until the NFL starts again. If we don't overthink
- 34:35Speaker 1: it now, we're never gonna overthink it. We are bad
- 34:39Speaker 1: media people if we don't overthink this. And as a
- 34:43Speaker 1: Bears fan, I find it to be such a relief
- 34:46Speaker 1: to not have to debate what the Bears are going
- 34:48Speaker 1: to do because we've settled and we're spending our money wisely,
- 34:51Speaker 1: and we're making good decisions, and we're gonna win the
- 34:53Speaker 1: super Bowl. But let's just say, let's just say there
- 34:58Speaker 1: are other divisions in the NFC in a couple of minutes.
- 35:03Speaker 1: We got a couple of minutes because we gotta wrap
- 35:05Speaker 1: this up, Raybon. We've spent a lot of time talking
- 35:08Speaker 1: about Carolina. Meanwhile, Atlanta quarterback questions, New Orleans quarterback roster questions.
- 35:19Speaker 1: What do we do with these two teams in the
- 35:21Speaker 1: NFC South? So I think New Orleans should be a
- 35:24Speaker 1: clear favorite for that division. But you know, I won't
- 35:28Speaker 1: spend too much time on now. Let's just go. Let's
- 35:30Speaker 1: talk about Atlanta because I think Atlanta is your sleeper
- 35:33Speaker 1: and not Carolina. Because I think even if Carolina makes
- 35:38Speaker 1: the right choice at quarterback with that number one pick,
- 35:42Speaker 1: I think Carolina is still a year away. A lot
- 35:44Speaker 1: of the things that we liked about Carolina aren't the same. Like,
- 35:48Speaker 1: you know, they don't have Wilkes. They're not playing hard
- 35:50Speaker 1: for Wilkes anymore. DJ Moore's gone, Ganti Foreman's gone, you know,
- 35:55Speaker 1: arnold'st like it's it's just a whole news. It's a
- 35:58Speaker 1: whole new team. And a lot of the guys they
- 36:00Speaker 1: Carolina signed in free agency are kind of average guys.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I mean, Deshaun Williams, total Hayden Hurst Sanders like you
- 36:11Speaker 1: know few in replacing more like all these there's these
- 36:14Speaker 1: are lateral moves at best. Um So, I'm not in
- 36:18Speaker 1: love with Carolina, but I looked at a team like
- 36:20Speaker 1: Atlanta signed Jesse Bates, you know, got on your Mata
- 36:26Speaker 1: on the d line, Bates in the secondary, You get
- 36:28Speaker 1: Kaden Ellis on the edge. You add another you know,
- 36:33Speaker 1: a better backup or maybe even you know, bridge quarterback
- 36:36Speaker 1: in Heinike than Mariota, and you have eight picks in
- 36:40Speaker 1: the draft. The old line, it could be very good
- 36:45Speaker 1: this year. The offense was already an above average offense
- 36:51Speaker 1: and it was top three in Russian last year. You
- 36:53Speaker 1: got good young players at the skill position, so the
- 36:56Speaker 1: defense is wrote issue with them, and I think they
- 36:59Speaker 1: started to takes. I mean you got Bates and Terrell
- 37:02Speaker 1: stars in the secondary. Uh So I think Atlanta, in
- 37:04Speaker 1: this weak division h is live to win this thing.
- 37:09Speaker 1: So I love Atlanta. And then and then, uh you
- 37:12Speaker 1: also go to the West in Seattle. I think it's
- 37:15Speaker 1: really interesting. Now. Obviously San Francisco's roster is the best
- 37:19Speaker 1: in that division, but I think it's a rebuilding year
- 37:22Speaker 1: for the Rams and Arizona as well. Seattle still got
- 37:25Speaker 1: ten picks in the draft. They got five in the
- 37:27Speaker 1: top eighty three. They've shown that they can draft well
- 37:31Speaker 1: in the past, and you know, they already are a
- 37:35Speaker 1: kind of ahead of schedule, and they have a solid
- 37:37Speaker 1: roster that you know, if they hit on you know, two, three,
- 37:40Speaker 1: four of those picks and of those you know five
- 37:43Speaker 1: in the top eighty three, Uh, this Seattle team is
- 37:46Speaker 1: gonna be looking very good as well. And I think
- 37:48Speaker 1: they cau be, you know, be a legit playoff contender,
- 37:52Speaker 1: not just a team that is kind of relying on
- 37:54Speaker 1: other people to get in. So Atlanta and Seattle are
- 37:58Speaker 1: two teams that I think are are undervalued in NFC. Simon,
- 38:02Speaker 1: you have two minutes to respond, Well, I'll just do
- 38:07Speaker 1: a real quick so I can give ut my picks.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I think it's I think both teams are a fun upside.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Like to me, Atlanta is a fun upside of division
- 38:13Speaker 1: that we have no clue. Like anyone that comes confident
- 38:15Speaker 1: they have a clue what's gonna happen in the South,
- 38:17Speaker 1: Who the hell knows? Like that that division is such
- 38:19Speaker 1: a train wreck. Of course, the Saints should be favorite,
- 38:22Speaker 1: but I just don't know what I'll do with that division.
- 38:24Speaker 1: The Seahawks are a great sleeper team. It's the forty
- 38:26Speaker 1: nine is gonna be the darling of everyone. Everyone thinks
- 38:29Speaker 1: they have three quarterbacks right now that could be the
- 38:31Speaker 1: starter for that team. So it makes sense we were
- 38:33Speaker 1: gonna be heavy on them. But Seattle is a fun
- 38:35Speaker 1: team with a ton of draft picks, and they believe
- 38:38Speaker 1: in genos. So I love where Chris is coming from
- 38:41Speaker 1: on those two picks. What are your picks that you
- 38:43Speaker 1: want to talk about? Just real quick. People are asking
- 38:46Speaker 1: me for an update on divisional bets I made this
- 38:48Speaker 1: past week. I bet Cleveland at plus four hundred plus
- 38:51Speaker 1: four fifty to win the North AFC New North. It's
- 38:56Speaker 1: it's just a Lamar bet. It's honestly a little more bet.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I think the vibes are so bad now I think
- 39:00Speaker 1: Lamar might be leaving town or if he stays, I
- 39:03Speaker 1: just don't like what's going on there with Baltimore and
- 39:06Speaker 1: on the other side of since I think Chris talked
- 39:08Speaker 1: about earlier in the show that they haven't gotten better
- 39:10Speaker 1: since it they've actually gotten worse from last year. So
- 39:13Speaker 1: to me, they're a team that kind of seems like
- 39:15Speaker 1: taking a step back where the Browns they're gonna have
- 39:17Speaker 1: that easy schedule, with that last place schedule, and they're
- 39:20Speaker 1: gonna be in a division now the full off season
- 39:22Speaker 1: with you know, a guy that I know people don't
- 39:25Speaker 1: like Watson, but before all this BS Watson was a
- 39:27Speaker 1: top five guy. So to me, I'm banking on Watson
- 39:30Speaker 1: getting back to form with an offense put around him.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I just like the value there. And I can't believe
- 39:34Speaker 1: I'm saying that, Chad, But I like what Dallas has done.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I like the moves Dallas is made. I think people
- 39:39Speaker 1: are too in on the Eagles too, and on the
- 39:41Speaker 1: Giants kind of forget about this Dallas team. I saw
- 39:43Speaker 1: them reached plus two hundred last week and a couple
- 39:46Speaker 1: of books to win the NFC East. That's too high,
- 39:49Speaker 1: That's way too high. I think the Eagles have gotten worse.
- 39:52Speaker 1: The Giants had made a couple of improvements, enough improvements
- 39:54Speaker 1: that they should be, you know, closest to the Cowboys
- 39:56Speaker 1: and Eagles. I don't know about that. So to me,
- 39:59Speaker 1: the Cowboys are kind of for dead. People have the
- 40:01Speaker 1: bad takes in their mouth. I'll dak ended the playoffs.
- 40:03Speaker 1: They don't believe in them. I'm with you. I'm not
- 40:05Speaker 1: betting them to win the Super Bowl. I will not
- 40:07Speaker 1: do that. But a plus two hundred to win the
- 40:09Speaker 1: NFCAST in the division that we just see it every
- 40:11Speaker 1: year has a turnover. The same team hasn't won it
- 40:14Speaker 1: in over twenty years back to back. So just have
- 40:16Speaker 1: plus two hundred plus one seventy five. I would take
- 40:19Speaker 1: that now in Dallas if you're looking for a nice
- 40:21Speaker 1: little bed here on anfcast team. Guys, that was spirited.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I can't wait to see who ends up being the
- 40:30Speaker 1: number one overall. Pick Peter Scronsky from Northwestern. I feel
- 40:35Speaker 1: like that's our long shot and it will just blow
- 40:37Speaker 1: everybody out of the water. People will not believe that
- 40:40Speaker 1: a Northwestern tackle was taking number one overall. But listen,
- 40:45Speaker 1: we all know Frank Wright doesn't like short quarterbacks and
- 40:47Speaker 1: he you know, wants to mold his own guy. So
- 40:50Speaker 1: that eliminates Bryce Young and CJ. Shrouds. So you know, Raybon, listen, Raybon,
- 40:56Speaker 1: We're going to see you this weekend because we got
- 40:58Speaker 1: this big event that Mad Hatter in Hoboken, New Jersey.
