- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, my love, it is Lala Kent.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode, but give them a La
- 0:11Speaker 2: podcast before we jump into it.
- 0:13Speaker 1: What's up, Dress? Hi? Nothing is up. I had a
- 0:18Speaker 1: nice weekend. I'm looking at your hair and I'm obsessed.
- 0:21Speaker 1: You guys, we chopped it. You chopped it this weekend.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I put up my Christmas tree already.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I Kyle wasn't happy about it, but I convinced him
- 0:31Speaker 1: too because we're hosting Thanksgiving it our place, so I
- 0:35Speaker 1: was like, we need the holiday stuff up. And we
- 0:37Speaker 1: had a friends giving.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Well that's right, you had a friends giving over in
- 0:41Speaker 2: this area.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Over Well I thought it was, but it was more.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It was probably like fifteen minutes away from here. Okay,
- 0:47Speaker 1: but it was cute. It was really nice. We had
- 0:49Speaker 1: a beautiful, beautiful time. We showed up five minutes early
- 0:53Speaker 1: and ended up because of Kyle and ended up help
- 0:56Speaker 1: setting up because you're so early. So how was your weekend?
- 1:00Speaker 2: I always tell people, I'm like, just so you know,
- 1:03Speaker 2: I'm a really bad helper. I'm not gonna help you
- 1:05Speaker 2: set up. I'm not gonna help you cook, but I'm
- 1:07Speaker 2: more than happy to venmo you free anything you need supplies.
- 1:13Speaker 1: See the You're the kind of people I love because
- 1:16Speaker 1: I'm a control freak. If i'm setting up, don't touch anything,
- 1:19Speaker 1: but just sort of be there to talk to me
- 1:22Speaker 1: if I need you. And if someone were to be
- 1:23Speaker 1: like I'm not gonna help it, I'll venmo you yes please.
- 1:26Speaker 2: It's so funny because so I'd be perfect for you. Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 2: because I'm hands off. I'm a hands off type person,
- 1:33Speaker 2: but i'll offer. Like my friends who know me really well,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I'm like, can I do anything? They're like, bitch, shut up.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Sit down, what are you doing? Shut up?
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yes. I had a really great weekend before we jump
- 1:46Speaker 2: into this. I got this cute book for Ocean and
- 1:50Speaker 2: I highly recommend it because she's obsessed. She loves books
- 1:54Speaker 2: more than anything. So I found this book that I
- 1:56Speaker 2: knew that she'd be obsessed with. It's called What Do
- 1:59Speaker 2: the Stars See on the Farm, And it's written and
- 2:02Speaker 2: illustrated by a woman named Molly Smith. And if you
- 2:05Speaker 2: have a little one, I highly recommend it. It's so cute,
- 2:09Speaker 2: and especially because it has farm animals. So now when
- 2:12Speaker 2: I get to the lamp page or the cow page,
- 2:14Speaker 2: she makes the sounds. It's that cute.
- 2:17Speaker 1: BA and her no way, it's ba moon Nay, I
- 2:21Speaker 1: can't get over here.
- 2:22Speaker 2: She's Every time I ask her what a pig says,
- 2:25Speaker 2: she goes oh. I like, I've tried to teach her
- 2:28Speaker 2: how to say oink, but then when I say what
- 2:31Speaker 2: does solely say? She goes rash. Yeah, so we've added
- 2:34Speaker 2: solely to the list of what do animals say?
- 2:37Speaker 1: Who's solely solely from monsters inc? Solely from monsters inc?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Duh okay perfect.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah. So there's that. The weekend was great. I had
- 2:46Speaker 2: my friend's little boys third birthday party yesterday. And because
- 2:51Speaker 2: la is like Groundhog's Day and it's seventy degrees in
- 2:55Speaker 2: fucking November, I just like I lose track of the day,
- 2:59Speaker 2: the month, the year, just all of it, because it's
- 3:01Speaker 2: like another glorious morning makes me sick type weather every
- 3:05Speaker 2: fucking day of my life, every time.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So glorious morning makes me sick type day.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And so I get a text from her on where
- 3:17Speaker 2: to park, and I was like, that's today. So I run.
- 3:21Speaker 2: We get in the car, me and my rid die
- 3:24Speaker 2: co parent mom slash.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Wife lie my obviously Lisa.
- 3:29Speaker 2: We get in the car. We go to the grove.
- 3:33Speaker 2: There's this woman. It's a hot mess yesterday, all right.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I find this girl walking to her car, so I'm
- 3:38Speaker 2: following her, and as I'm doing it, this Mercedes pulls
- 3:43Speaker 2: up and I say to the woman like, oh, I've
- 3:45Speaker 2: been following this girl, like we're gonna take this spot,
- 3:48Speaker 2: and she shakes her head at me, pulls up closer
- 3:51Speaker 2: to where she's blocking the girl. So my mom gets
- 3:54Speaker 2: out to like tell the girl like, hey, we're going
- 3:56Speaker 2: to park here, and she's like, great, I saw you following. Yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 2: And my mom I was like, can you get out
- 4:00Speaker 2: with this Mercedes blocking you? And she's like no, she's
- 4:03Speaker 2: gonna have to move. So my mom's standing in the
- 4:05Speaker 2: spot and says, like, we've been following her. She knows
- 4:07Speaker 2: we're taking this spot. The woman proceeds to in what
- 4:12Speaker 2: I saw remove my mother with her car stop. Yes, bumps,
- 4:16Speaker 2: my mom's leg with her car runs over. Thank god.
- 4:19Speaker 2: My mom said these shoes are too big. Well, thank
- 4:21Speaker 2: god they were too big because the woman you could
- 4:24Speaker 2: see tire marks on the toe of my mom's shoe.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Wait what I'm actually I swear to God, because you guys,
- 4:30Speaker 1: this is the first time I'm hearing this. The usually
- 4:32Speaker 1: like Laala will tell me what happened over the weekend.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm wait, so did anyone video because did you get out?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Or you're like, what the fuck? No?
- 4:40Speaker 2: This woman was like obviously. She kept yelling you're a
- 4:46Speaker 2: vile bitch your mom to me and my mom like
- 4:49Speaker 2: out of her window. She's got a little kid in
- 4:51Speaker 2: the car. The woman can't back out, so she's got
- 4:53Speaker 2: to the Mercedes has to back up. We get the
- 4:57Speaker 2: parking spot and I called the police.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I was just gonna say, I hope I cannot put
- 5:03Speaker 1: man over your mom's phone.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yes, And then as we're walking to the elevator, she
- 5:07Speaker 2: circles around again, rolls down her window calls us vile bitches. Again.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I tell my mom like, don't engage. The police are coming.
- 5:15Speaker 2: We're waiting by the elevator where the police tell us
- 5:17Speaker 2: to wait. The woman is walking in with her child,
- 5:21Speaker 2: continuing to call us vile bitches. I'm like, I said,
- 5:25Speaker 2: the police are coming. I think you might want to stay.
- 5:27Speaker 2: She said, I don't care and leaves. So the cops
- 5:31Speaker 2: come and she's facing a hit and run.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Okay, so they didn't find her. You didn't like lead
- 5:36Speaker 1: them to her. Did she just so she left in
- 5:38Speaker 1: her car.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Is that what you're doing? No, she went she went
- 5:41Speaker 2: shopped the masked Where is the woman? I said, she's
- 5:43Speaker 2: shopping here? She is. I took a picture of her
- 5:46Speaker 2: license plate, her entire car, her face.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Okay, good, good, So you got a lot on the phone.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm still in shock, like the fact that your mom's
- 5:55Speaker 1: foot got run over. What?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, thank god? Can I tell you what's so crazy
- 5:58Speaker 2: is my We're in my parking garage going to the car,
- 6:01Speaker 2: and she says, should I run back up and change
- 6:03Speaker 2: my shoes? These are these are too big?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:06Speaker 2: And I said, we don't have time, like just fucking
- 6:09Speaker 2: wear the shoes, all right, Like I gotta go get
- 6:11Speaker 2: a gift.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And because of this debacle, I had to arrive to
- 6:17Speaker 2: my friend's little boy's birthday party with his toys in
- 6:21Speaker 2: a giant Nord Strum plastic bag.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's fine. Kids don't care. Kids do not give a shit.
- 6:28Speaker 1: They would. I feel like a lot of them would
- 6:30Speaker 1: rather just get the toy.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I was like, are you kidding? I can't even wrap it.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Q I look like, let's pull it a little bit.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So Lisa is okay, though, so her because of the
- 6:40Speaker 1: big shoes. Nothing happened, no, no.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Thank God. But like I literally watched it, Like this
- 6:46Speaker 2: woman bumped my mother's leg with her.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Vehicle and you didn't freak out. I would. I think
- 6:54Speaker 1: I would have to watch.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I have to be honest with you. Yeah, I could
- 6:58Speaker 2: feel myself getting to that level that if I were
- 7:01Speaker 2: to get out of the car, not good.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So you stayed in the car.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I stayed in the car. I like asked God, please
- 7:08Speaker 2: remove the fire that's about to like erupt within me
- 7:13Speaker 2: and onto this woman and just wait for the police
- 7:16Speaker 2: to get here. And I hate to be that person,
- 7:18Speaker 2: but it's like, if this woman is willing to like
- 7:21Speaker 2: use her vehicle to remove someone over a fucking parking
- 7:25Speaker 2: spot with your kid in the car, like you're unsafe.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You're unsafe. I feel heartbroken for that child who had
- 7:33Speaker 1: to witness that, because, let's be honest, if she does
- 7:35Speaker 1: that so easily over that situation, it's happened before most likely,
- 7:41Speaker 1: So you have this child who probably has to witness
- 7:43Speaker 1: all these dramatic situations all the time. I can't believe
- 7:47Speaker 1: that happened.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I know, weird, right, Holy shit? Yeah, it was a lot.
- 7:53Speaker 1: What a day it was a was a lot. Was
- 7:56Speaker 1: Les emotionally shaken up or was she liked No.
- 7:59Speaker 2: She was she was shaken up. Okay, I was shaken
- 8:03Speaker 2: up by the whole thing.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Like I almost was like, I can't go to this birthday,
- 8:07Speaker 2: Like I can't feel like I can't even drive a
- 8:09Speaker 2: car right now.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, so over a fucking parking spots and fuck you
- 8:14Speaker 1: and guess.
- 8:14Speaker 2: What now, I'm totally like, I'm the type of person
- 8:17Speaker 2: where if someone's following in, they're like, hey, I've been
- 8:19Speaker 2: following this person, Like great, it's yours. Yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Did the woman whose spot you were both going after?
- 8:24Speaker 1: Did she was she like, oh my god, what the fuck?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Or did she not see anything?
- 8:28Speaker 2: No, she said to me, because my mom got out
- 8:30Speaker 2: of the car, Yeah, to block the park way. The
- 8:34Speaker 2: woman said to my mom, Yeah, I saw you. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 2: you can totally take it. I saw you, guys.
- 8:40Speaker 1: But when this crazy lady hit your mom's leg, did
- 8:43Speaker 1: she see it?
- 8:43Speaker 2: She was in her car, windows up, ready to like
- 8:46Speaker 2: start backing out, thinking like, oh, these two people have
- 8:49Speaker 2: worked it out. Anyway, that's what happened. That happened yesterday.
- 8:54Speaker 2: But then it made it all okay, because last night
- 8:58Speaker 2: we're getting ready to watch our show, Me and my
- 9:01Speaker 2: mother slash wife slash co parent, and we're so engaged
- 9:07Speaker 2: in this show that we're watching. We were watching the
- 9:10Speaker 2: Bling Ring Heist documentary, and I've always told people I
- 9:16Speaker 2: put vaciline around my eyes to prevent fine lines and wrinkles,
- 9:19Speaker 2: while I learned that from my mom. My mom is
- 9:22Speaker 2: so into the show, and she has her reading glasses
- 9:25Speaker 2: on that she dips and watching it in real time,
- 9:29Speaker 2: dips her fingers into the vasiline and rubs them on
- 9:34Speaker 2: her reading glasses.
- 9:36Speaker 1: No, I knew that's what you're gonna say.
- 9:41Speaker 2: And then she looks at me and goes, I didn't
- 9:42Speaker 2: even realize, was just smeared fucking vasoline reading glasses.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I about are you dying?
- 9:50Speaker 2: I was losing my mind. I was like, the day
- 9:55Speaker 2: was great just because of that moment.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I love her because I could see that and then
- 9:59Speaker 1: her turning to you with the smudged glasses. Yeah, I
- 10:02Speaker 1: didn't even realize.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I didn't even realize. No, you did not, clearly, that's
- 10:09Speaker 2: so lunatic.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I love her, and I don't get a show just
- 10:14Speaker 1: simply for me. If I don't get a show of
- 10:16Speaker 1: you too, a fucking reality show within the next few years.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself because
- 10:22Speaker 1: I can't get enough. And I'm with you guys five
- 10:24Speaker 1: days a week pretty much. Yeah, so I just need something, Yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I need something.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Lisa is pure gold entertainment gold. And she thinks her
- 10:35Speaker 2: comebacks are so good. Like we went to dinner with
- 10:37Speaker 2: Katie and we were talking about like this guy not
- 10:40Speaker 2: remembering someone and like how like it shouldn't be embarrassing,
- 10:45Speaker 2: like if someone doesn't remember meeting you, and my mom goes,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I want to know what I would have said. I've
- 10:50Speaker 2: had senior moments too. I go ooh, ooh, what a
- 10:54Speaker 2: burn mom?
- 10:55Speaker 1: What the fuck you got them? Lady?
- 10:58Speaker 2: And she delivers the lines like such burns.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I love her. She was in the office the other
- 11:03Speaker 1: day and there's this mug, you guys, a coffee mug
- 11:07Speaker 1: in the breakroom and it's got like a big giant
- 11:10Speaker 1: pickle as the handle of the mug, and on the
- 11:13Speaker 1: mug it says, I'm kind of a big dill like
- 11:16Speaker 1: d illl and you would have thought it was just
- 11:19Speaker 1: it was the cutest thing. Lisa just loved it. She said,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you gotta see this smug.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You gotta see this smug. She goes, you, guys, there's
- 11:25Speaker 2: this mug in there. It's got a pickle and it
- 11:27Speaker 2: says I'm kind of a big deal. And the way
- 11:30Speaker 2: she said it, though, I was like, that is so funny.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. The way she said it, I
- 11:34Speaker 1: started cracking up. And if I just saw the mug,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I would have been like, oh, but Lisa pitching the
- 11:39Speaker 1: mug to us, I was like, that's the funniest thing
- 11:41Speaker 1: I've ever.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Had, I've ever heard, and I want my coffee in
- 11:42Speaker 2: it every single day. Speaking of you having your Christmas
- 11:53Speaker 2: stuff up, which, by the way, I love that you
- 11:56Speaker 2: already have it up. I want to wait until this
- 11:59Speaker 2: weeknd Easton comes into town on Sunday, which I'm really
- 12:05Speaker 2: excited because he'll be on next week's episode family episode.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'm trying to get Lisa on two. Will she be
- 12:11Speaker 1: to shit?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she'll do it amazing. I think when
- 12:13Speaker 2: she has Easton it like, but then she says she
- 12:16Speaker 2: doesn't want to do it, But then she's talking in
- 12:18Speaker 2: the background, so I'm like, just get on a mic
- 12:20Speaker 2: so people can hear you, or.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Just sit with us and she'll be talking like we'll
- 12:23Speaker 1: give her the mic that you could. Yeah, it'll be great.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I love family episodes because I feel like part of
- 12:27Speaker 1: the family.
- 12:28Speaker 2: You are part of the family. Ess. So I'm gonna
- 12:31Speaker 2: wait to put the Christmas stuff up while Easton's in town.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Okay, So you're gonna do it early because I thought
- 12:36Speaker 1: you were in December. Gal No.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Oh, I'm the type where I want it up, like
- 12:41Speaker 2: as soon as Halloween. Get it up. Let's like feel
- 12:46Speaker 2: the spirit of the Lord praison. But because I want
- 12:50Speaker 2: my family here while we do it. And my family's small,
- 12:55Speaker 2: but I just want Easton here. But by the way,
- 12:57Speaker 2: the second Christmas is over, I'm like, take get down. Yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 2: it's ready, like it's a new year.
- 13:03Speaker 1: We gotta Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I grew up with my mom keeping Christmas up because
- 13:06Speaker 2: my dad was five star like keeping trees alive. It
- 13:09Speaker 2: was the most insane thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 13:13Speaker 2: You got a real tree. He had always the perfect.
- 13:16Speaker 2: We always went and picked out our tree at Cummings.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's called coming, Okay. I think his name was like Hugh,
- 13:23Speaker 2: Hugh coming you coming in Salt Lake City, Utah. How
- 13:26Speaker 2: is it spelled see you.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Oh no, oh no.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, And so that's where we would pick up
- 13:35Speaker 2: our tree. And my dad knew the perfect ratio between
- 13:38Speaker 2: water seven up, not sprite, and aspirin to give the
- 13:43Speaker 2: tree to where it just never died.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I've never heard of the seven up, not spread. I've
- 13:47Speaker 1: heard water and ass, but never soda seven up.
- 13:51Speaker 2: And my mom one year got very upset that the dog,
- 13:55Speaker 2: our big ass dog, tipped over the tree. Clearly, like
- 13:59Speaker 2: my mom said, clearly, they did not drill the whole
- 14:03Speaker 2: properly because the stand wouldn't have given way. Whole tree
- 14:07Speaker 2: falls over seven up, all over her brand new carpet.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, it I love it.
- 14:16Speaker 2: So that happened. What was the point of this?
- 14:18Speaker 1: The point of that was because one year, it sounds
- 14:21Speaker 1: like they kept it up for a while until my
- 14:23Speaker 1: brother's birthday, which is Valentine's Day.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I was like, time to take the tree down, and
- 14:27Speaker 2: she's like, no, we're going to decorate it in Valentine's
- 14:30Speaker 2: Day theme and birthday theme. I was like, no, we're not.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Wait. It was a real tree alive and it had
- 14:36Speaker 1: lasted that long. I swear to God. February fourteenth, that's
- 14:40Speaker 1: actually insane. That's actually pretty amazing. That's incredible.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so you don't get a real tree anymore, you do,
- 14:46Speaker 2: I forget. I think once I get us into a house,
- 14:48Speaker 2: we'll get a real tree. Okay, but right now, yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 2: we're going with just like the faky okay, the fakey
- 14:54Speaker 2: one okay, which is fine.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I just like the smell of a real tree.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Me too. That's why I burn my pine candles.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Will you send me a picture of which ones you use?
- 15:04Speaker 1: The candles? Yes? I will. Why because of the toxicity?
- 15:08Speaker 1: Is that where you're No?
- 15:09Speaker 2: I just love you think they smell good?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Then, oh, they smell so good because of like candles
- 15:15Speaker 1: being toxic. I've heard that. I don't know if it's true.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Don't give me another thing to obsess over and worry
- 15:20Speaker 2: about me sitting in my apartment being like, is that
- 15:22Speaker 2: candle intoxicating? What's it called? Is that candle intoxicating? Oh no,
- 15:29Speaker 2: that's hood though it's intoxicating.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Intoxicating is like positive?
- 15:33Speaker 2: I think, Oh, all right, I don't know.
- 15:34Speaker 1: People good with words, probably if they listen to this podcast,
- 15:37Speaker 1: are like, oh furious every time.
- 15:40Speaker 2: This girl's a dumb bit.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Both of us because I'm like, I don't know. You
- 15:43Speaker 1: ask me, and I'm like I know.
- 15:45Speaker 2: And by the way, it's like I always say I
- 15:46Speaker 2: didn't go to college. It's like, these are things you
- 15:48Speaker 2: probably should have learned in elementary school.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And again I went to college and I'm I'm just
- 15:52Speaker 1: as bad.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Well, who the fuck knows. So last week we spoke
- 15:56Speaker 2: about ocean and croup, so I got DMS. There were
- 15:59Speaker 2: so many people by the way, you guys showed so
- 16:00Speaker 2: much love. I couldn't believe it. Last week's episode was amazing.
- 16:04Speaker 1: A lot of messages saying they cried when you cried,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and it was a lot of mamas that said, like,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I didn't know I'd be bawling in work this morning.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Thanks guys, but like in a sweet, funny way.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, it's just one of those things where like
- 16:17Speaker 2: every parent has had that moment of going holy shit,
- 16:20Speaker 2: and it's gonna be that way. I'm gonna have many
- 16:22Speaker 2: more of those moments, Like the first time she gets hurt,
- 16:24Speaker 2: like kind of bad, like breaks the bone, Oh my god,
- 16:28Speaker 2: I can't even and if there's blood involved, I go
- 16:31Speaker 2: into full worthlessness.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Well that's why you've your mom.
- 16:35Speaker 2: That's why I have my mom, so I just got
- 16:37Speaker 2: really sweet messages. But I wanted to share this one
- 16:40Speaker 2: because someone sent this to me and it says, I
- 16:43Speaker 2: just listened to your podcast this morning and I am
- 16:45Speaker 2: so glad Ocean is okay. I recommend buying a pulse oximeter.
- 16:50Speaker 2: You can find them anywhere for twenty five dollars. You
- 16:52Speaker 2: can put it on Ocean's finger and see how how
- 16:55Speaker 2: much oxygen is going through her blood. We did this
- 16:58Speaker 2: for our daughter when she was two because she had
- 17:00Speaker 2: pneumonia in the past, and it saved her life when
- 17:03Speaker 2: she was two and a half. So I think I'm
- 17:06Speaker 2: saying it right, pulse oximeter, Okay, are you going to
- 17:09Speaker 2: get it? Yes, absolutely, I'm getting it. Apparently croup. Once
- 17:14Speaker 2: they have get croup, it's like a very high chance
- 17:18Speaker 2: they're going to get it again. Really, yeah, that's what
- 17:21Speaker 2: I've been told.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Oh that's so interesting, my little sister, because my mom,
- 17:25Speaker 1: my dad and mom keep up with like news alerts
- 17:28Speaker 1: about you for some reason, and they were like, oh,
- 17:31Speaker 1: they called me immediately. They were like, how's Ocean. Oh
- 17:33Speaker 1: my god, I had no idea. Why didn't you tell us?
- 17:35Speaker 1: And I was like it was like the day after
- 17:37Speaker 1: the podcast came out and I was like, oh, she's
- 17:40Speaker 1: she's fine now, and my mom, you know, went on
- 17:42Speaker 1: like this is what she's got to do. But she said,
- 17:44Speaker 1: my sister had croup once, never got it out.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Okay, good to know.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So that's interesting that. I wonder why that is that
- 17:50Speaker 1: if you get it once, most likely you're going to
- 17:52Speaker 1: get it again.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I don't know, but all.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Croup an RSV, right, that's what's.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Really going around right now. An RSV is really freaking scary.
- 18:01Speaker 2: But I did have a nurse reach out. She said,
- 18:07Speaker 2: you'll never see this. I did see it. But your
- 18:10Speaker 2: most recent podcast mentioning how everyone's immune systems are horrible,
- 18:13Speaker 2: I'm a nurse and the last two years everyone has
- 18:16Speaker 2: been sanitizing everything. I've been the most sick from cold
- 18:19Speaker 2: slash tummy bugs I've ever been. Love your podcast from
- 18:23Speaker 2: an ausie that's in New Zealand. Hell, yes, so you
- 18:27Speaker 2: were right. It sounds I'm always right. Yes, same, you're
- 18:32Speaker 2: always right too.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but just in conversations with Kyle, I'm smart.
- 18:38Speaker 2: He's a smart person. He's a smart person.
- 18:40Speaker 1: But so it must be that because cold and stomach
- 18:45Speaker 1: bug has been what I've been having this year. I
- 18:48Speaker 1: feel like you and your mom. It's like Kyle, everyone
- 18:50Speaker 1: and I haven't been sick in years.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I know. I remember going to the doctor when I
- 18:55Speaker 2: was super young, and I was terrified of needles, and
- 18:57Speaker 2: I was terrified of that sta that they put in
- 19:00Speaker 2: your mouth to push your tongue down because it made
- 19:02Speaker 2: you gas and it made me gag. So that was
- 19:04Speaker 2: like I remember them having to hold me down to
- 19:06Speaker 2: do it. And my doctor said, if you get sick
- 19:09Speaker 2: one more time, I got to take your tonsils out.
- 19:12Speaker 2: And then he recommended the Health and Wellness vitamins, which
- 19:15Speaker 2: I've posted before, and I literally did not get sick again. Really,
- 19:20Speaker 2: so this past year, the fact that I've been fighting sickness,
- 19:25Speaker 2: I'm like, what is this? I don't get it.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And then you took the Health and Wellness vitamins recently?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Did they help?
- 19:32Speaker 2: Those? Always help you take. They recommend you take one
- 19:35Speaker 2: a day, and then when you're feeling sick or you
- 19:38Speaker 2: are sick, you amp it up to four. And then
- 19:40Speaker 2: I also do the colloidal silver, which so many people
- 19:43Speaker 2: were like, be careful, it'll turn your skin blue. I'm
- 19:46Speaker 2: very well aware of this, but the amount you would
- 19:49Speaker 2: have to consume to start having blue skin.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I yeah, that's very high, not just like a few
- 19:54Speaker 1: squirts in the mouth wild. Oh speaking of dms, you guys,
- 19:59Speaker 1: so many of you DM to the podcast and me
- 20:01Speaker 1: personally with what's the sugar baby doc? Or Oh my god,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I know exactly what you're talking about. So the what
- 20:09Speaker 1: I think it is. I've seen both of these episodes,
- 20:12Speaker 1: so I haven't gone back to be like, oh, this
- 20:14Speaker 1: was the one, but it's either thank you guys for
- 20:17Speaker 1: like being sleuths and figuring it out. So it's sleuth,
- 20:21Speaker 1: like an internet sleuth, like it's like a private detective.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Oh detective. That's what Sophia Franklin calls all of her listeners,
- 20:30Speaker 2: and she calls them.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Slutes like sluts. Oh okay, like salute, like a slang
- 20:37Speaker 1: for sloot, but sleuth with thh. I don't know if
- 20:40Speaker 1: you can hear it.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I'm not I can hear it now, Yes, okay, I'm
- 20:43Speaker 2: glad you're clarified because I was like, oh, now that
- 20:45Speaker 2: makes sense, but I thought sleuth. I was getting confused
- 20:48Speaker 2: that sleuth you meant slute whatever?
- 20:50Speaker 1: Got it?
- 20:50Speaker 2: It sounds calling these people internet worse.
- 20:55Speaker 1: That's hilarious. But Okay, it's either because I've seen both
- 20:58Speaker 1: This Is Life with Lisa Ling season one, episode one.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It's called Sugar Daddy's Sugar Babies, so I've seen that.
- 21:06Speaker 1: It's either that one or it is there's an MTV
- 21:10Speaker 1: True Life episode and I think it's called like, I
- 21:13Speaker 1: don't know sugar Baby's MTV True Life Google.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I think I've seen that one.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I've seen. Yes, So I've seen both of these. Thank
- 21:19Speaker 1: you guys and everyone who's asking and really want to
- 21:22Speaker 1: watch it, which is so many. That's what it is.
- 21:24Speaker 1: This is Life Lisa Ling or the MTV one. So
- 21:28Speaker 1: Happy sugar Baby watching.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Happy sugar Baby watching. Also, I'm really bummed at myself
- 21:34Speaker 2: because I did not watch last week's episode of Freaking
- 21:37Speaker 2: Salt Lake. You didn't, no, So I have no tea
- 21:40Speaker 2: to spill on my thoughts. But next week I'm gonna
- 21:42Speaker 2: make Easton watch both episodes with me.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You are yes, and then he can talk about what
- 21:47Speaker 1: he thinks. Yes, he doesn't watch it regularly.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Hold On, So how far behind him? I because a
- 21:53Speaker 2: new episode is going to air tonight on Monday. So
- 21:56Speaker 2: I'm one behind, You're one behind? And then well, what
- 22:00Speaker 2: airs on Wednesday night. So when this comes out, I'll
- 22:02Speaker 2: have a new episode. Okay, So by the time Eastern
- 22:06Speaker 2: comes out, I think I'll have two episodes to catch
- 22:08Speaker 2: up on and talk about. For salt Lake.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Well, no, because if Eastern comes Sunday, all you'll have
- 22:13Speaker 1: is this. Oh, because you're talking about last last.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Week too, got it? However, I did see this morning
- 22:19Speaker 2: on No Filter with Zach his Instagram page, this footage
- 22:25Speaker 2: in Salt Lake of Jenshaw with a group of people
- 22:29Speaker 2: screaming at each other. All I could really make from
- 22:33Speaker 2: it was fuck and then someone says your husband, and
- 22:39Speaker 2: it looks very intense.
- 22:41Speaker 1: We're talking about show footage or behind the scenes.
- 22:43Speaker 2: We're talking about like someone with a cell phone in
- 22:45Speaker 2: the streets of Salt Lake filming them. There's like no
- 22:49Speaker 2: one around except them, just out on the street.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Wild.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I wonder who this person was. Then, I don't know,
- 22:55Speaker 2: but I'm eager to like deep dive if you guys know.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I mean, by the time this maybe we'll be over it.
- 23:01Speaker 2: But I love me some news on Jenshaw.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Well, if Easton's gonna watch and he hasn't like watched
- 23:07Speaker 1: a ton, then I'm gonna watch too, so I know
- 23:09Speaker 1: what you guys are talking about, just to see so
- 23:11Speaker 1: I can like hear, because if I just have to
- 23:14Speaker 1: watch the past few episodes, I can do that in
- 23:16Speaker 1: a freaking weekend. Easy, breezy.
- 23:18Speaker 2: You don't need to twist my arm to watch any
- 23:21Speaker 2: sort of Real housewives. OG knew. I'm currently watching season
- 23:26Speaker 2: three of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is Kim
- 23:31Speaker 2: Richard's sober It's fucking incredible and inspiring and I love
- 23:37Speaker 2: it so much just to see her and when she
- 23:39Speaker 2: talks about sobriety, just her feeling towards it amazing. There
- 23:44Speaker 2: was also Bethany Frankel coming out with her I think
- 23:48Speaker 2: it's called Rehousewives where it's a podcast with iHeart where
- 23:52Speaker 2: she only talks about housewives.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I literally I didn't know this, but I was just
- 23:58Speaker 1: about to say, Lala, have you ever thought about starting
- 24:00Speaker 1: a podcast where you just talk about housewives? You know?
- 24:03Speaker 2: I don't know that people. I think it's more interesting
- 24:06Speaker 2: for an ex housewive to talk about housewives. I mean,
- 24:09Speaker 2: Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra two point three million downloads in
- 24:14Speaker 2: one month.
- 24:15Speaker 1: What do they talk about?
- 24:16Speaker 2: Just how housewives I've never listened to the podcast, which
- 24:20Speaker 2: clearly they don't need my download or listenership. Yeah they're
- 24:24Speaker 2: killing it, but I need to start listening, and they're
- 24:27Speaker 2: killing it. So a lot of people had a problem
- 24:30Speaker 2: with Bethany Frinkel because she's slammed the show so much
- 24:33Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden she's capitalizing on a
- 24:36Speaker 2: podcast based on housewives.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I was gonna ask about that.
- 24:39Speaker 2: So a lot of her former castmates have like thrown
- 24:42Speaker 2: some shade and some digs, and her response was basically,
- 24:46Speaker 2: I hope they feel better. It's a brilliant idea. I've
- 24:49Speaker 2: always had brilliant ideas, like you're a fucking savage.
- 24:52Speaker 1: And also, this is a necessarily then this is a
- 24:55Speaker 1: perspective that we're not going to get if there's all
- 24:57Speaker 1: these housewives I don't know if there are but all
- 25:00Speaker 1: these housewives starting in pop culture podcasts that have podcasts
- 25:04Speaker 1: just about talking about housewives. We don't necessarily have the
- 25:08Speaker 1: perspective of an ex housewife who maybe has thrown shade
- 25:12Speaker 1: at the show who's now going to be talking about it.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll get some opinions from Bethany that we
- 25:17Speaker 1: won't won't have gotten from anyone.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Else, of course not. And she's so unfiltered and she's
- 25:22Speaker 2: interesting to listen to, and she argues very intellectually, and
- 25:27Speaker 2: I just I enjoy her. So whether she's thrown shade,
- 25:30Speaker 2: it's like Lauren Bostik said, I'm changing all the time.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Today I may love ice cream and tomorrow I may
- 25:37Speaker 2: hate it. Well, Bethany may have thrown shade, and today
- 25:40Speaker 2: she's appreciating house. If so, fuck it.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Let her do her, Yes, exactly, what do you say?
- 25:45Speaker 1: I reserve the right I used to.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I reserve the right to evolve.
- 25:49Speaker 1: That's what it is. I love that. I want that
- 25:50Speaker 1: on a T shirt.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I can't take credit for it. My plastic surgeon's nurse
- 25:55Speaker 2: actually said it to me, okay, and I said to her,
- 25:58Speaker 2: just so you know, I'm using that.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Wait, what was she talking about.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I think we were having a conversation after my breakup
- 26:08Speaker 2: or something. Maybe I had gone in and we were
- 26:11Speaker 2: just going in depth and she was talking about her
- 26:14Speaker 2: relationship status and she just said that to me, and
- 26:17Speaker 2: I was.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Like, whoa, it's so good.
- 26:19Speaker 2: It's so good, and I'm using it. So if you
- 26:21Speaker 2: hear it, just know like I respect it. Came from you,
- 26:23Speaker 2: but I'm going to take it on like it came
- 26:25Speaker 2: from me.
- 26:26Speaker 1: All right, all right.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I also went in for a booby doctor appointment.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yes, you did a mammogram.
- 26:33Speaker 2: So I have yet to have a mammogram. Oh I have.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I've only had ultrasounds. So I got a lot of
- 26:41Speaker 2: people sliding into my DM, which I thought was really interesting.
- 26:45Speaker 2: A lot of them, a lot of them were saying, yes,
- 26:48Speaker 2: I'm so happy that you're shedding light. But a lot
- 26:50Speaker 2: of people were saying where they lived, their doctors won't
- 26:54Speaker 2: give them to their like, give them a scan until
- 26:57Speaker 2: they're forty or fifty. Some women even said to me,
- 27:00Speaker 2: why are you doing it so young? You don't need
- 27:02Speaker 2: to do it until you're this age. I personally have
- 27:05Speaker 2: a friend who was in her mid thirties. Yeah, and
- 27:10Speaker 2: just beat cancer last year. Yeah. And I remember at
- 27:15Speaker 2: a very young age, I was in I think junior
- 27:19Speaker 2: high maybe even elementary school, and my grandmother had just
- 27:23Speaker 2: passed away from breast cancer. My aunt was bad, no,
- 27:27Speaker 2: both I had two aunts that were battling it. And
- 27:30Speaker 2: my mom's my mom's aunt, Yeah, your mom's aunt. A
- 27:34Speaker 2: lot of people in my family and I remember feeling
- 27:39Speaker 2: my boobs and feeling like some sort of fatty thing
- 27:43Speaker 2: in the left one, and I made my mom take
- 27:45Speaker 2: me in because I was so freaked out. As you should.
- 27:48Speaker 2: So I got my very first ultrasound on my boobs.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Was at a very young age. Then I started going,
- 27:56Speaker 2: I want to say in my twenties, just because it
- 27:58Speaker 2: runs on both sides of my family. But I thought
- 28:01Speaker 2: a lot of these like this woman said, yes girl.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I was thirty six now thirty seven when I was
- 28:07Speaker 2: diagnosed with stage two breast cancer and I had just
- 28:11Speaker 2: finished nursing my six month old son. Thank you for advocating,
- 28:14Speaker 2: because early detection is key. I finished sixteen rounds of
- 28:17Speaker 2: chemo in June, had a bilateral mass sectomy in July,
- 28:21Speaker 2: finished thirty rounds of radiation in October, and I'm currently
- 28:25Speaker 2: doing another six months of chemo followed by reconstruction and
- 28:28Speaker 2: ten years of meds. So thank you again for advocating.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I saw it would never happen to me.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Wow.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's important.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I'm very confused. Maybe it goes by state with like
- 28:41Speaker 1: health insurance and all that.
- 28:42Speaker 2: But that could very much be it health insurance.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I've gotten a mamma because a mammogram is where you
- 28:48Speaker 1: put your boob on that thing and then it pushes
- 28:50Speaker 1: it right, Yes, and it hurt me. And my friends
- 28:53Speaker 1: were like, but this was in New York and I
- 28:56Speaker 1: got it. I think I was probably maybe this was
- 28:58Speaker 1: in Tennessee. Either way, I was like twenty and it
- 29:01Speaker 1: was just like part of my maybe annual exam or something, right,
- 29:05Speaker 1: and now with my annual with my gynecologist, I mean,
- 29:08Speaker 1: they feel my boobs, but I don't know if that's
- 29:11Speaker 1: that's just a quick feel.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I don't know, but I think it's important for you
- 29:14Speaker 2: to be feeling yourself. If you feel any itching or
- 29:18Speaker 2: burning sensation, get your ass into a doctor. This woman
- 29:21Speaker 2: said you can't in Ireland until you're fifty six. I believe.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I wonder very I wonder if she means you can't
- 29:28Speaker 1: without paying, because.
- 29:30Speaker 2: That's what I'm wondering. No one said directly like, you
- 29:33Speaker 2: can't have your insurance won't cover it unless you're this age.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Okay, so it's yeah, it's probably more because you can.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I feel like you can, but you might just have
- 29:43Speaker 1: to pay out of pocket. That is so wild.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Though. This woman said that her friend was diagnosed at
- 29:51Speaker 2: the age of thirty three. This woman, I was diagnosed
- 29:55Speaker 2: at thirty two with breast cancer. Wow, I would not
- 29:59Speaker 2: have had a man Graham until I was forty. This
- 30:02Speaker 2: person said, yeay, I'm so glad you're doing this long
- 30:05Speaker 2: before they recommend. I had breast cancer at twenty nine.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Holy moly, so recommend feeling your breast. But I have
- 30:13Speaker 1: a question for women with implants. Yeah, does that block
- 30:18Speaker 1: because the doctors always say feel your breast and if
- 30:20Speaker 1: you feel something that's alarming, go in. If you have implants,
- 30:24Speaker 1: because I don't know how it's does that would that
- 30:27Speaker 1: block your ability to feel anything alarming or do not know?
- 30:31Speaker 2: I've had breast implants since I was twenty so in
- 30:36Speaker 2: my own humble opinion, and I'm not a doctor, I
- 30:40Speaker 2: would think that that could act as like a barrier.
- 30:45Speaker 2: And I mean I just I would think right having
- 30:49Speaker 2: something inside where it wouldn't give you exactly what like
- 30:53Speaker 2: the feeling that you would need.
- 30:55Speaker 1: But then again, if you're gonna be because then my
- 30:57Speaker 1: brain goes I forever was like, oh, if you have
- 31:00Speaker 1: breast implants, you can't breastfeed. And my one friend who
- 31:03Speaker 1: as them, was like, that is so not true. What
- 31:06Speaker 1: are you talking about like, I love that you thought that.
- 31:09Speaker 2: But my mom taught me, and even at a young age,
- 31:12Speaker 2: because this is what I did. This is why I
- 31:13Speaker 2: made her, at the age of like twelve or something
- 31:16Speaker 2: take me in for the ultrasound, because she said, and
- 31:21Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong, if there's like a doctor
- 31:23Speaker 2: and nurse out there who knows. I mean, my mom
- 31:26Speaker 2: is certainly not a doctor. But she said to lay
- 31:28Speaker 2: flat on your back and then use the tips of
- 31:32Speaker 2: your fingers to literally like make a pitter powder motion
- 31:36Speaker 2: all the way around, all the way around your boob.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Yes, that's what my ghino does. Okay, surely, I mean
- 31:43Speaker 1: does your guano. Like every annual, my guino will check
- 31:46Speaker 1: my boobs and do the pitter patter motion around and
- 31:48Speaker 1: then they'll she'll say it like and then she'll go
- 31:51Speaker 1: do the deep dive into my vagina. But but yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 1: the pitter powder motioner, I've always learned. Yeah, I've learned.
- 31:58Speaker 1: If you can't lay down, you put your arm up
- 32:01Speaker 1: straight into it. Okay, yeah, I arm of the air, yes,
- 32:04Speaker 1: arm in the air.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Okay. So yeah, I've never done the mammogram. The last
- 32:10Speaker 2: however many times I've had this done it's always been
- 32:12Speaker 2: an ultrasound and I'm nice and clean and clear. And
- 32:18Speaker 2: people were saying when I posted that my voice broke
- 32:21Speaker 2: at the end and everyone was like, are you okay?
- 32:23Speaker 2: Oh no, And I was like, I think that was
- 32:25Speaker 2: just me being nervous. I was having an okay day.
- 32:29Speaker 2: But sometimes when I'm like, well, so many people from
- 32:32Speaker 2: like the video that we posted where I had a
- 32:34Speaker 2: mask on. In the video, We're like, might do you
- 32:37Speaker 2: have a mask on? I'm like, hello, it's not about
- 32:40Speaker 2: the mask. Yeah, it's about me telling you to go
- 32:42Speaker 2: out and vote. I have to be honest, like anybody
- 32:46Speaker 2: anywhere knows that when you go into a doctor's office
- 32:49Speaker 2: you got to put a mask on. Yeah, at least
- 32:51Speaker 2: in California.
- 32:52Speaker 1: In California for sure, and yes, and the voting boosts
- 32:56Speaker 1: because we went there. There's a lot of elderly people,
- 32:59Speaker 1: and I think people are just taking like extra precaution.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Well, by the way, I was just getting over being sick,
- 33:05Speaker 2: so I put a mask on. Say thank you?
- 33:09Speaker 1: Right?
- 33:10Speaker 2: How about that?
- 33:11Speaker 1: Missing the point? Like people are just d I mean,
- 33:14Speaker 1: why do you have a mask on?
- 33:15Speaker 2: But don't worry about what I put on my face
- 33:18Speaker 2: inject into my face.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah, don't worry about it.
- 33:22Speaker 2: When people get so upset, like when I get botox
- 33:25Speaker 2: and posts and they're like enraged by it, I'm like,
- 33:28Speaker 2: you've got to like, come off it. It's not your face.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Why are you so upset? It's why I'm not pinning
- 33:36Speaker 2: you down shoving botox into your face, even though I'm
- 33:39Speaker 2: pretty sure you want me to.
- 33:40Speaker 1: This is you being jealous, That's exactly it. And I
- 33:43Speaker 1: mean we've we you know, it's the same energy as Pam,
- 33:47Speaker 1: Like we've gone off on Pam, who you know, Thank
- 33:50Speaker 1: god it's not a real name, because she's gotten some
- 33:52Speaker 1: hate in the DMS.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Oh Pam, her ass has been laid on tide.
- 33:58Speaker 1: So no, what, it's a energy. It's like, you know,
- 34:01Speaker 1: there are a whole like which I don't go on Reddit,
- 34:04Speaker 1: but I've heard there are whole like Reddit threads designated
- 34:08Speaker 1: to talking shit about like celebrities with injections and botox,
- 34:14Speaker 1: And I'm just like, Ah, get a life.
- 34:17Speaker 2: How sad does your world have to be to get
- 34:19Speaker 2: onto a Reddit thread and participate in that conversation.
- 34:23Speaker 1: In spew negativity about like even five minutes being like
- 34:27Speaker 1: disgusting botox blah, blah blah. It's like, are you okay?
- 34:33Speaker 2: It just it's like you hate yourself.
- 34:36Speaker 1: You hate yourself. Go to therapy. There's more to life.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Go to church, Go wherever you gotta go to like
- 34:42Speaker 1: fix that.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yep, if you're scared, go to church. We don't hit
- 34:45Speaker 2: you where it hurt. That don't work, We'll put you
- 34:48Speaker 2: in the dirt. Is that a Raba ice cube?
- 34:52Speaker 1: Oh?
- 34:54Speaker 2: Fucking ice cube? I love it? Oh my god, he goes,
- 34:58Speaker 2: I'm Utah, I got more multiple bitches. That's what he
- 35:02Speaker 2: says from Utah gangster rap made me do it.
- 35:05Speaker 1: No oh.
- 35:06Speaker 2: People love to just talk about Utah and then associate
- 35:08Speaker 2: it with multiple bitches.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Apparently, Oh okay, I get it now. It's clicking now
- 35:13Speaker 1: because I was like, wait, what I'm like?
- 35:14Speaker 2: Good watch some documentaries that ain't hit in.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Last week was the gallery shoot. Last week was the
- 35:24Speaker 1: gallery shoot with your fabulous, fabulous fucking dress and your
- 35:29Speaker 1: amazing hair. We all saw a little teaser of it
- 35:32Speaker 1: on your Instagram story how to go.
- 35:34Speaker 2: It was amazing. I was a little bit annoyed. Why
- 35:37Speaker 2: because number one, if you work in this industry, you
- 35:40Speaker 2: should just know this. But some people just like I
- 35:45Speaker 2: guess I don't know what isn't firing, but on our
- 35:50Speaker 2: call sheet it says you are more than welcome to
- 35:53Speaker 2: post in the glamor room the moment you get on
- 35:57Speaker 2: set in your looks. There is no social media. Raquel's
- 36:02Speaker 2: hair girl and Raquel posted full looks on set of
- 36:08Speaker 2: what We're Doing, and Shina posted a photo of she,
- 36:12Speaker 2: Ariana and Raquel in their looks. I'm like, you, guys,
- 36:17Speaker 2: please stop, yeah, please just stop. It was she and
- 36:22Speaker 2: I love you. This is not me hating on you,
- 36:24Speaker 2: but it's like they literally stated this on our call
- 36:27Speaker 2: sheet not to post, and then Raquel and her hair
- 36:30Speaker 2: girl post her on set of literally what we're doing
- 36:34Speaker 2: for our video of like a teaser high We're back.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I mean, I saw it all and I even texted
- 36:41Speaker 1: you that day and said I can't wait to see
- 36:43Speaker 1: the final images. And then I saw a video and
- 36:45Speaker 1: I think it was on Raquel's Instagram where you are
- 36:47Speaker 1: in it, and I was like, oh, did you. I'm
- 36:51Speaker 1: curious because it's one thing. Again, I'm sure it infuriated production.
- 36:56Speaker 1: It's one thing to post behind the scenes, but it's
- 36:58Speaker 1: another thing to post someone else look without asking were
- 37:01Speaker 1: you asked, Hey, you're in this video. Can I post it?
- 37:04Speaker 1: It's your full look? No?
- 37:05Speaker 2: Oh, no, I wasn't. I love hera Raquel's hair girl.
- 37:09Speaker 2: She's very sweet.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I don't.
- 37:11Speaker 2: But it's just kind of like, come on, guys, come
- 37:14Speaker 2: to the party. What We've done this a lot of times. Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 2: you've done this a lot of times. Like my my
- 37:22Speaker 2: glam and hair people were not posting me. I was
- 37:25Speaker 2: in a bathroom. You could see my face. It was
- 37:28Speaker 2: in the glamor room. So that happened. Anyway, everyone looked stunning.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Every time I see my cast, I'm like, even if
- 37:34Speaker 2: we're not connecting, y'all are a bunch of hot motherfuckers. Yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 2: good for us. We are killing the game.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You are You're all nice on the eyes.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Yes, So I take a picture or my glam person, Melissa,
- 37:47Speaker 2: who I love the way she did my makeup, takes
- 37:49Speaker 2: a picture of me. Okay. And I was bored one
- 37:51Speaker 2: night and just wanted to fuck around with the snow app.
- 37:54Speaker 2: And there's a lot of different apps that people use. Okay,
- 37:56Speaker 2: and remind me we have to post a side by
- 37:59Speaker 2: side because gonna die. Okay. So I was just fucking
- 38:02Speaker 2: with it. I was doing what like I think most
- 38:05Speaker 2: people do on their Instagrams because everyone's morphing into the
- 38:10Speaker 2: same person. Yes, and I start tweaking my face. I
- 38:16Speaker 2: really want you to see it.
- 38:17Speaker 1: No, I'm dying to see it. Can we post this
- 38:20Speaker 1: side by side? Yes, the Instagram, the podcast, Instagram story
- 38:23Speaker 1: or something one. Now that we're talking about it, you
- 38:26Speaker 1: know people are gonna want to see.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I also have people to see Lala.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Eventually, one day when you have the time, which is
- 38:33Speaker 1: not right now, you have to sit down and do
- 38:36Speaker 1: like a screen recording or something, or I'll video you
- 38:39Speaker 1: doing everything you do to your photos, because your photos
- 38:42Speaker 1: look flawless and not over edited. But I don't know
- 38:44Speaker 1: how you do that because I go to edit a
- 38:46Speaker 1: photo and I show Kyle and he's like, do not
- 38:49Speaker 1: do that? You really he can tell yes, And my
- 38:52Speaker 1: sister and my brothers are like, if I try and edit,
- 38:55Speaker 1: it looks fake. So I just really don't really edit.
- 38:57Speaker 1: But the way you do it tastefully. I think James
- 39:00Speaker 1: Charles did a video of him showing people how to
- 39:03Speaker 1: edit and like face tune or something.
- 39:05Speaker 2: In like a way that's not like holy shit. Okay,
- 39:07Speaker 2: So Jess, I'm gonna show you my before okay, and
- 39:10Speaker 2: then after.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Okay, can I try and pick out what you did? Okay?
- 39:15Speaker 2: So we'll try and pick out what I did.
- 39:17Speaker 1: This to you guys. Okay, that's after. I cannot fucking
- 39:21Speaker 1: tell what you did, but I can tell it's like, okay,
- 39:24Speaker 1: hold on, it's did you send your nose a little?
- 39:27Speaker 2: I sinched the nose. Nothing with the brows. I did
- 39:31Speaker 2: do something with the brows.
- 39:32Speaker 1: You did you make them?
- 39:34Speaker 2: Thickened them and added length?
- 39:37Speaker 1: Could not see even there. I'm scrolling and you, guys,
- 39:42Speaker 1: if you want to follow along, we'll have this up
- 39:43Speaker 1: on the Instagram story before and after.
- 39:45Speaker 2: You're fine with that, Yes, I want people to see
- 39:47Speaker 2: because I'm gonna tell you my thought process when I
- 39:49Speaker 2: stared at that shit too long?
- 39:51Speaker 1: Did you do something to your forehead or no, let
- 39:53Speaker 1: me the brows? Did you like?
- 39:55Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you everything I do.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Please tell me.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Okay, I shortened my face. I made my face more petite. Okay,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I made my lips more poudy, So I brought them
- 40:06Speaker 2: in and made them a little fuller. Okay. I thickened
- 40:12Speaker 2: my brows and brought them. Oh, I brought them out
- 40:17Speaker 2: and a little bit in I tilted the eye shape
- 40:19Speaker 2: you know that thing that people are doing.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It's almost like a faceless.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Almost like it gives you more of a cat ee right, Yes,
- 40:26Speaker 2: So I did that as well, and I started going, okay,
- 40:31Speaker 2: this was just for fun, right. I started flipping back
- 40:34Speaker 2: and forth, going, but I want to look like that
- 40:38Speaker 2: like the one you edited.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Yes, did you start to feel bad about yourself? Because
- 40:43Speaker 1: this is a very interesting thing to me.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I just kept thinking, like, oh my god, I like
- 40:47Speaker 2: my face so much more in that photo and it
- 40:49Speaker 2: looks Can I tell you I look like every girl,
- 40:52Speaker 2: every blonde on Instagram?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Can I look at it again?
- 40:54Speaker 2: Now, insta on Instagram? I just morphed into I know,
- 40:59Speaker 2: I do.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Look at this with one app there's a bit of
- 41:02Speaker 1: just like a classic quote unquote alien look if you
- 41:05Speaker 1: think of like the classic alien cartoons where it's like,
- 41:09Speaker 1: you know, the big eyes and the pointy chin that's
- 41:12Speaker 1: going around. See And then I look at it and
- 41:14Speaker 1: I see how like you look like you could be
- 41:16Speaker 1: a cartoon character in this in this editor it's a bratstall,
- 41:19Speaker 1: right bratstall, Yes.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Yes, but see. But I kept flipping back and forth,
- 41:24Speaker 2: and it did something to my brain like what Like,
- 41:30Speaker 2: I asked my mother, how what do you think I
- 41:33Speaker 2: could do to achieve this? Look? My mom goes, your
- 41:37Speaker 2: fucking nuts, put the phone away, and then I snapped
- 41:43Speaker 2: myself out of it. I was like, you've gone mad.
- 41:45Speaker 2: You've gone mad because you show me this girl in
- 41:48Speaker 2: real life. Great for a photo, right, but it's so
- 41:52Speaker 2: unnatural looking.
- 41:53Speaker 1: It's very un natural looking.
- 41:54Speaker 2: But then I go into these young girls who are
- 41:57Speaker 2: looking at photos of and it is you look at
- 42:01Speaker 2: it like, how am I gonna sit here and go
- 42:02Speaker 2: how do I make my face smaller?
- 42:04Speaker 1: Yeap?
- 42:06Speaker 2: What?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:07Speaker 2: I'm thirty two and I was having those thoughts.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Yes, and that is that gets into you because a
- 42:12Speaker 1: lot of people will go, how can I make my
- 42:14Speaker 1: face smaller? And if you have the funds and if
- 42:17Speaker 1: you have the doctors in mind, you a lot of
- 42:20Speaker 1: people these days will would take that photo into their doctor,
- 42:23Speaker 1: into their plastic surgeon and say, here's what I want
- 42:26Speaker 1: to do. This is this is what I want now.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Plastic surgeons like the ones you used would say get
- 42:31Speaker 1: out of here, we're not doing that, but others would go, okay, great,
- 42:35Speaker 1: So we shaved the chin, the jaw, we pull back,
- 42:39Speaker 1: we do niptock, and that's how you get And I'm
- 42:42Speaker 1: telling you, it kind of freaks me out when I
- 42:44Speaker 1: do see people starting to all look the same.
- 42:47Speaker 2: How about you or do you?
- 42:48Speaker 1: Are you not?
- 42:49Speaker 2: No, that's I'm the type where it's like, if you
- 42:52Speaker 2: feel beautiful like that, then you should go and do
- 42:55Speaker 2: whatever you want to do. But it's important for other
- 43:00Speaker 2: women who maybe don't have the funds to go and
- 43:02Speaker 2: do all of that, to say, this is what I've
- 43:06Speaker 2: done to my face, this is not the way I
- 43:08Speaker 2: look naturally, because it fucks with you. You see an
- 43:12Speaker 2: image over and over again and you start thinking, I'm
- 43:15Speaker 2: supposed to look like that, and then you don't like
- 43:18Speaker 2: your own face. Okay, Like that photo of me where
- 43:23Speaker 2: I'm just before I did all that shit, I was
- 43:26Speaker 2: looking at myself. I was like, damn, bitch, you look
- 43:28Speaker 2: so good. Okay, and then I did all that shit
- 43:32Speaker 2: and I was like, no, it's not like I don't
- 43:34Speaker 2: feel hot there. I feel hot there. That's when I
- 43:36Speaker 2: had to put the phone down and regroup and I
- 43:38Speaker 2: was like, you know what, We're going to talk about
- 43:39Speaker 2: this on the podcast. This is a learning moment.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I love that because I do look at that photo.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I mean I do see when I look and try
- 43:47Speaker 1: and spot the difference, I can't pick it out. Maybe
- 43:50Speaker 1: that's just how my eyes are, but I see a
- 43:52Speaker 1: difference in the photos. I see a difference. Obviously you
- 43:56Speaker 1: look more like a Bradstall totally. But if you posted
- 43:59Speaker 1: that edited photo of you, I'd be like, oh, this
- 44:02Speaker 1: isn't what you necessarily look like in real life.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Like no, if I post that on my Instagram. If
- 44:07Speaker 2: I edit my photos and I meet a guy through
- 44:09Speaker 2: a DM and he wants to link up, that ain't
- 44:10Speaker 2: what he's getting right.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And there's something about I agree with you. Love, if
- 44:16Speaker 1: you want to look a certain way and it makes
- 44:18Speaker 1: you more confident, go do it, Go be it. But
- 44:21Speaker 1: I think maybe because I'm in Like, there's something about
- 44:26Speaker 1: like people's quirks in their face nowadays, where if I
- 44:29Speaker 1: see like uneven teeth, they're like just little or like
- 44:33Speaker 1: a big forehead, not me, not me mentioning everything I have.
- 44:41Speaker 1: But if I see that, I'm like, oh, that's kind
- 44:43Speaker 1: of cute, Like it's just like the uniqueness. And I
- 44:47Speaker 1: think it's because I watch so much fucking TV. Right,
- 44:49Speaker 1: And by season four everyone looks perfect totally, especially on sitcoms.
- 44:54Speaker 1: You see season one and you're like, oh yeah, and
- 44:56Speaker 1: then season four, I'm like, their faces can barely move
- 44:58Speaker 1: and I'm like, and I'm just like, it takes me
- 45:01Speaker 1: out of it.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:02Speaker 1: No, again, it doesn't happen as much anymore, but it
- 45:05Speaker 1: used to happen a lot.
- 45:06Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 45:07Speaker 1: There's something about like we don't want to all look
- 45:09Speaker 1: the same.
- 45:10Speaker 2: No, I don't think we all want to look the same.
- 45:12Speaker 2: But if you feel hot, go inject your face. But
- 45:14Speaker 2: just like let people. I think I'm about transparency and
- 45:19Speaker 2: I think that I can fulfill all of my wants
- 45:22Speaker 2: and needs to feel confident while also you know, protecting
- 45:27Speaker 2: women around me and men by saying this is how
- 45:30Speaker 2: I edited this photo. This is the procedure I went
- 45:33Speaker 2: and got today, so that you know that it's this
- 45:37Speaker 2: ain't natural. I'll never pretend like I had nothing done.
- 45:41Speaker 2: And a lot of people say, you look so different
- 45:44Speaker 2: from season four. Yes, I'm not twenty four anymore. I'm
- 45:48Speaker 2: thirty two, So yes, that did happen. I do look different.
- 45:52Speaker 2: And when people say I miss your old face, I
- 45:54Speaker 2: miss my old face too. I would also like to
- 45:58Speaker 2: be look twenty four again, where this face isn't trying
- 46:02Speaker 2: to be like, hey, we're getting older. We are fighting
- 46:05Speaker 2: fine lines and wrinkles. Like you see me in person.
- 46:09Speaker 2: There's something about a photo, like a frontward camera, Like
- 46:12Speaker 2: my lips always look bigger in pictures, which I love
- 46:15Speaker 2: they do. Yeah, because when I had no lip injections,
- 46:17Speaker 2: I would slide into the snow app and make them bigger,
- 46:20Speaker 2: make them bigger because I just like my bit. I
- 46:22Speaker 2: like fuller lips. But when people see me in person,
- 46:27Speaker 2: there's countless times where people have been like, you don't
- 46:31Speaker 2: look as as injected as you do on your Instagram.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I'm like, if anyone said that to me, I'd be like,
- 46:38Speaker 1: fuck off.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Well I feel like they mean it as a compliment,
- 46:40Speaker 2: so I'm just like, well, thank you.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's insane. Everyone I play around with I want.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I don't have a snow app.
- 46:51Speaker 2: That overlining.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I will overline and sometimes I keep going and then
- 46:56Speaker 1: it's like, hey, if you want to see she's talking
- 47:00Speaker 1: about it's in my highlights on Instagram. I got a
- 47:02Speaker 1: little carried away one day with the lip liner and overlining,
- 47:05Speaker 1: and it just Kyle wasn't home Kyle wasn't home. I
- 47:09Speaker 1: was bored. But you want to know what's funny, Well,
- 47:12Speaker 1: the amount of DMS I got from I hate to
- 47:14Speaker 1: call you out women, but they're like women in their
- 47:17Speaker 1: fifties that say, this looks so bad. You cannot do this.
- 47:21Speaker 1: You look like a fucking clown. Ladies, I know it
- 47:26Speaker 1: is a show.
- 47:27Speaker 2: The fact that you have to explain that to people.
- 47:29Speaker 2: I'm like you and I would not get along.
- 47:31Speaker 1: They're like, LA's got into your head?
- 47:34Speaker 2: How could you even take the video?
- 47:36Speaker 1: Seriously?
- 47:36Speaker 2: It was so funny you could tell that you were
- 47:40Speaker 2: being funny.
- 47:40Speaker 1: I know, I mean I just kind of laughed. But
- 47:43Speaker 1: we all do what you want to do. I think
- 47:45Speaker 1: it's I mean, I look at your nip, lips, nips,
- 47:48Speaker 1: you know. I look at your lips, and I think
- 47:50Speaker 1: they look natural. But it also could be because they've
- 47:54Speaker 1: always looked this way since I've met you, so I
- 47:57Speaker 1: don't know, like and also if they don't fucking look
- 47:59Speaker 1: now and you want them to look fake and it
- 48:01Speaker 1: makes you happy, get on looking fake.
- 48:03Speaker 2: By the way, I've been looking at my face for
- 48:05Speaker 2: a long time now, and I feel like when you
- 48:06Speaker 2: see it, like it's kind of like when someone wants
- 48:09Speaker 2: to lose weight, right, And because they're looking at themselves
- 48:14Speaker 2: every single day, they don't notice the change, right. But
- 48:17Speaker 2: people that you haven't seen in a while are like,
- 48:19Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I notice.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 48:22Speaker 2: So I've been looking at my lips and I said
- 48:23Speaker 2: to my mom like, yo, I gotta go back into Lee,
- 48:27Speaker 2: like I feel like I need them injected again. And
- 48:30Speaker 2: she was like, you've gone insane, really yes, And I
- 48:33Speaker 2: even said to Lee she was like, la, la, they
- 48:35Speaker 2: look the same. And it's because I've been staring at
- 48:36Speaker 2: for them, staring at them for so long that I
- 48:39Speaker 2: think that they're small. Do you know what's funny though?
- 48:43Speaker 1: You Okay, well, you remember like months ago when you
- 48:45Speaker 1: and your mom went and got your lips injected for
- 48:47Speaker 1: the first time since before you were pregnant. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:50Speaker 1: I thought, I love seeing this happen because in my mind,
- 48:54Speaker 1: I was like, once you get start getting your lips injected,
- 48:57Speaker 1: you have to do it every three four weeks, like
- 48:59Speaker 1: it has to be done. But you haven't gotten you
- 49:01Speaker 1: haven't gone back since, and to me, they look great,
- 49:04Speaker 1: So I'm.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Like, huh, lips, lips and filler last a very long time.
- 49:10Speaker 2: They do botox, you have to keep up on I
- 49:12Speaker 2: think that's like I think she said three months.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Oh see even that, I'm like, when you say keep up,
- 49:18Speaker 1: I'm like every three weeks, every four weeks, no, like
- 49:20Speaker 1: three months, and then you get injected again like hair.
- 49:23Speaker 2: For me, yeah, like highlights pretty much.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Huh.
- 49:27Speaker 2: But I'm fine with that because if you saw my dad,
- 49:30Speaker 2: my dad was his face had a lot of personality,
- 49:33Speaker 2: we'll call it so sweet. And my mother also before
- 49:38Speaker 2: we injected her, hers had a lot of personality. And
- 49:42Speaker 2: those lines.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Get deep to where you cannot reverse them. That's my
- 49:46Speaker 1: that's my yeah, that's my smile lines right now.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So for me, I just don't like, I'm
- 49:54Speaker 2: okay with some fine lines on the forehead, but I
- 49:56Speaker 2: mean those frown lines that genetically thick.
- 50:00Speaker 1: No, they're like deep caverns.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:03Speaker 1: No, if you see me in person, my eyebrow lines,
- 50:07Speaker 1: because I'm very expressive with my face. Just I don't
- 50:11Speaker 1: think only when you do that only well I've asked.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I've gone in and asked before, like, oh what in
- 50:17Speaker 1: what you know? I'm scared of needles because so that's
- 50:20Speaker 1: a whole other story. I'll probably just I'll just age
- 50:24Speaker 1: and be wrinkled, and that's just what it is, because
- 50:26Speaker 1: I'll faint. But I've went in and asked, and I've
- 50:29Speaker 1: gotten people saying, oh, there are some lines that are
- 50:32Speaker 1: in your face now that you just can't reverse. Like
- 50:34Speaker 1: it's just not it's just not going to happen.
- 50:38Speaker 2: No, but you could prevent them from becoming deeper.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Yes, by doing the botox.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Yach, and I want to do that.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:46Speaker 2: How funny that when I have to go to a
- 50:47Speaker 2: doctor's office to get my blood drawn to like make
- 50:49Speaker 2: sure I'm healthy, I fully have to lay down and
- 50:52Speaker 2: I almost pass out. And then when they're like, we're
- 50:54Speaker 2: gonna do PRP where we take your bloods, spin the
- 50:58Speaker 2: platelets and put it on your face, I'm like, okay,
- 51:00Speaker 2: there's my arm.
- 51:00Speaker 1: See that makes me dizzy. Do you think it's all mental?
- 51:05Speaker 2: It's all mental. I mean, granted, even when I'm in
- 51:07Speaker 2: the chair and they're taking my blood, they still have
- 51:09Speaker 2: to tilt me back. Even talking about it, I'm starting
- 51:11Speaker 2: to get like a little bit woozy.
- 51:12Speaker 1: What about lips and botox? You they have to tilt
- 51:15Speaker 1: you back right or no.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Well, my lips it's so painful. That I make her
- 51:19Speaker 2: literally give me a dental block, Like I'm.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Not the dentist, so that's like like numbing something.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Oh, I can't feel shit. She puts needles in the
- 51:28Speaker 2: back of my mouth and numbs me as if I'm
- 51:30Speaker 2: having a root canal. Oh my god, So I can't
- 51:32Speaker 2: feel my face's because I'll pass out. The pain is
- 51:38Speaker 2: excruciating lip pain. That's why if you're in LA and
- 51:42Speaker 2: you want your lips done, go to my girl. Her
- 51:45Speaker 2: name is Lee at skin tight Esthetics. I follow her
- 51:48Speaker 2: on Instagram. Katie just went to her. She talks about
- 51:52Speaker 2: how the pain with lips is excruciating. Lee has these
- 51:56Speaker 2: like they look like little drumsticks and they're steel, and
- 52:02Speaker 2: she puts them in the freezer and holds it on
- 52:04Speaker 2: on the injection site. You can't even feel the needle
- 52:08Speaker 2: going holds it on before yep, holds like the little
- 52:12Speaker 2: silver drumstick, ice thing whatever on your lip and then
- 52:16Speaker 2: puts the needle in and it's like you can't Katie
- 52:19Speaker 2: was like, I could not feel a thing, And she
- 52:22Speaker 2: didn't do any numbing cream and didn't obviously get a
- 52:25Speaker 2: dental block because I'm a weirdo.
- 52:27Speaker 1: No me I'd be like, put me under.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Give me anesthesia.
- 52:34Speaker 2: No. Even when I went in to get my boobs
- 52:35Speaker 2: done in my earpin back, I was like, while I'm out,
- 52:37Speaker 2: can you remove these like little I just had like
- 52:41Speaker 2: little skin things that I was not digging when I
- 52:43Speaker 2: got when I was pregnant. I was like, just save
- 52:46Speaker 2: me the mental torture of coming in here and you
- 52:49Speaker 2: numbing me with a needle to remove this, like I'm out,
- 52:52Speaker 2: just fucking take it off. I know, I know.
- 52:54Speaker 1: I remember asking you. I was like, can't you just
- 52:56Speaker 1: stay awake?
- 52:56Speaker 2: And You're like.
- 52:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, out cold.
- 53:00Speaker 2: So wow, there's that. Wow.
- 53:02Speaker 1: We do you love a tangent? I love a good tangent.
- 53:05Speaker 2: I'm excited to post the photo though, side by side,
- 53:08Speaker 2: so I know that we need to do that. Also,
- 53:10Speaker 2: I want to repost this video that I saw Cardi
- 53:13Speaker 2: b okay and because I'm not on TikTok and I'm
- 53:17Speaker 2: only on well, I am on TikTok, but I don't
- 53:19Speaker 2: have the app on my phone, which I need to have.
- 53:21Speaker 2: You sign me into Jess because I got so many
- 53:24Speaker 2: people wanting me to watch TikTok's over the weekend.
- 53:26Speaker 1: I was like, can't just a heads up? It takes
- 53:29Speaker 1: it will take up more time than Instagram. It's the
- 53:31Speaker 1: most addicting app. I'm telling you you can scroll for hours.
- 53:36Speaker 1: You won't be that way because you're not. But I've
- 53:39Speaker 1: never been the big Instagram gal. I'm like, eh, TikTok,
- 53:42Speaker 1: I can scroll and look up in two hours. But
- 53:43Speaker 1: I'll put it on your phone.
- 53:44Speaker 2: But just now, or you'll just screen record the video
- 53:48Speaker 2: for me.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you can ford it to me.
- 53:51Speaker 2: You should go into your to do this. No, I
- 53:53Speaker 2: can't get on. I don't even care. It is what
- 53:55Speaker 2: it is. By the time we do it, I'm not
- 53:56Speaker 2: gonna give a shit about these videos. Right. But Cardi
- 53:59Speaker 2: B was in her kitchen looking super fucking fabulous and
- 54:04Speaker 2: she was singing Wop, her song Wop, and she obviously
- 54:10Speaker 2: heard pitter patter because her little girl walks in and
- 54:12Speaker 2: she's like, no, no, no, no, like stops them, like
- 54:15Speaker 2: trying to like talk over the music is like pretending
- 54:17Speaker 2: like everything's fine. And it just made me go into
- 54:20Speaker 2: this moment of how so many people and I'm sure
- 54:24Speaker 2: the Cardi B's of the world and all these people
- 54:26Speaker 2: who are out here doing artistic things. I'm sure they
- 54:29Speaker 2: get dms like this all the time. But people say like,
- 54:33Speaker 2: would you want your kids seeing this like what I'm
- 54:36Speaker 2: doing or what I'm saying, or your kid's gonna listen
- 54:38Speaker 2: to this one day? And here's my stance on that.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Do I want my kid seeing this when she's in
- 54:43Speaker 2: elementary school? No, absolutely not. But there's gonna be a
- 54:48Speaker 2: time where my child experiences life, all right, and she's
- 54:52Speaker 2: gonna be doing things that I've done in my lifetime before,
- 54:55Speaker 2: she's gonna read things that she's gonna experience in her
- 54:59Speaker 2: lifetime before. I hate to break into all of you,
- 55:02Speaker 2: my daughter one day is gonna have sex. My daughter
- 55:05Speaker 2: one day is gonna talk about giving a blowjob. My
- 55:09Speaker 2: daughter one day is gonna say the fuck word. Okay,
- 55:14Speaker 2: my daughter isn't going to be a year and a
- 55:17Speaker 2: half or a child forever. So when you make comments
- 55:21Speaker 2: like your daughter's gonna see this, no shit. But my
- 55:25Speaker 2: daughter's gonna have life experiences. And I pray to God
- 55:28Speaker 2: that when she gets older and she has these experiences,
- 55:32Speaker 2: she can go you know what, I feel comfortable with
- 55:35Speaker 2: my mom because I remember her talking crazy this one
- 55:38Speaker 2: time on a podcast or I read this article, She's
- 55:40Speaker 2: a safe place for me to go to.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Yes, right, exactly. Yes, it's so much fucking pressure when
- 55:48Speaker 1: you if you, I mean, that's a whole different thing.
- 55:50Speaker 1: But like being a kid and having to grow up
- 55:54Speaker 1: thinking your parents have never done anything wrong. That's so
- 55:57Speaker 1: much pressure, and it will get to you and get
- 56:02Speaker 1: to you mentally as you grow up and you fuck up,
- 56:05Speaker 1: and it's like, oh my god, the end of the world.
- 56:07Speaker 1: It's like, you want. I love that having there's especially
- 56:11Speaker 1: nowadays with social media, there's moms out there. There's going
- 56:14Speaker 1: to be moms out there that's it's like, you've done
- 56:17Speaker 1: the craziest shit or whatever. It's out there, even moms
- 56:20Speaker 1: that aren't necessarily in the public eye like you, You're
- 56:24Speaker 1: going to have crazy. It's the Internet. It lasts forever,
- 56:26Speaker 1: it really does. So you're going to have your kid
- 56:30Speaker 1: come across maybe crazy shit you did in college or
- 56:33Speaker 1: season six of vander Pump Rights, and yes, you want
- 56:37Speaker 1: to be like, yep, mom, mom did that. Here's what
- 56:40Speaker 1: I maybe regret, Here's what I don't, Here's what I
- 56:42Speaker 1: learned from right, and the ocean's going to feel like, yeah,
- 56:45Speaker 1: my mom was wild back in her twenties, so I
- 56:48Speaker 1: feel comfortable enough being like, hey mom, I just did
- 56:52Speaker 1: this last night, and I feel kind of bad about it, right, Yeah.
- 56:55Speaker 2: It just I thought it was a really sweet moment
- 56:58Speaker 2: Cardi B being Cardi B for all of us to
- 57:00Speaker 2: watch as she's singing wop, which is we and then
- 57:05Speaker 2: to see her immediately go into protection mode of like,
- 57:08Speaker 2: there's my daughter's in the room where one day her
- 57:11Speaker 2: daughter is going to hear all of her mom's music,
- 57:14Speaker 2: and I'm sure be proud because her mom's freaking Cardi B.
- 57:19Speaker 2: But there's just there's such a separation between like I'm
- 57:23Speaker 2: not I may be saying these things on a mic.
- 57:25Speaker 2: I'm not going home with my one year old and
- 57:27Speaker 2: talking about these things. I won't be talking about these
- 57:30Speaker 2: things when my daughter's in elementary school, probably not even
- 57:34Speaker 2: junior high. We'll see where she's at mentally and emotionally
- 57:37Speaker 2: and what she brings to me where I have to
- 57:39Speaker 2: have certain conversations. But please don't waste your time with
- 57:43Speaker 2: sliding in my DM saying your daughter is gonna see
- 57:48Speaker 2: this stuff.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I'm I'm well aware and I'm fully okay with it.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Wow, that was like a really long podcast sorry, and
- 57:57Speaker 2: I went on a lot of tangents that was like this.
- 58:01Speaker 2: I like this too because I had a lot of
- 58:02Speaker 2: stuff to share. I hope you guys enjoyed it. You
- 58:05Speaker 2: guys are amazing. Happy hump today and I'll catch you
- 58:07Speaker 2: next week.
