- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice shog, naughty but nice show, and your host Ram Shooter.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It's Wednesday, which means our friend Donnie Meechham joins us, Hey, Donny,
- 0:23Speaker 1: how are you Hellollulla? Wednesday my favorite day of the week,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and it's good to hear you back to normal. Last
- 0:31Speaker 1: week a little down, a little I pulled you through.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I hate taking a day off, not because I have
- 0:39Speaker 1: any sort of moral sense of working. No, no, no,
- 0:43Speaker 1: I just enjoy what I do. I'm starting their day
- 0:47Speaker 1: off with the naughties and gossiping. So you know, if
- 0:50Speaker 1: I'm not here, I'm really sick. I was sick for
- 0:53Speaker 1: a day or so, but I black back back and
- 0:56Speaker 1: feeling great. Thank you for asking. I don't know if
- 0:58Speaker 1: you did. You did, Donnie, Thank you, of you, thank you,
- 1:01Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, And let's jumping to the show.
- 1:04Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is is on
- 1:09Speaker 1: the cover of People magazine, gushing about Ben Affleck, saying
- 1:12Speaker 1: that their relationship is sacred, goes on and on and
- 1:16Speaker 1: on about giving love a second chance. She said the
- 1:19Speaker 1: following quote, I've never been better. It's just that we're
- 1:25Speaker 1: all in a very beautiful moment. I feel so lucky
- 1:28Speaker 1: and happy. And proud to be with him. It's our
- 1:31Speaker 1: beautiful love story that we got a second chance. I
- 1:34Speaker 1: think that's why this story is really so exciting. This
- 1:38Speaker 1: is why this story has captured our imagination. Donnie. It's
- 1:42Speaker 1: because love got a second chance. Think of all those
- 1:44Speaker 1: people that you would love to turn back the clock with,
- 1:48Speaker 1: or maybe turn forward the clock with. I don't want
- 1:50Speaker 1: to go back ten years. But is there somebody, Donnie
- 1:52Speaker 1: that got away? Oh? Absolutely, And I think I got
- 1:56Speaker 1: away from a lot of people too. It's what I
- 1:58Speaker 1: would like to think that the to Bee about their
- 2:00Speaker 1: pining for me, that wasn't a story I feel away.
- 2:06Speaker 1: There must be that loved on it if you could. Oh,
- 2:08Speaker 1: of course, I get in my head. I can think
- 2:10Speaker 1: of somebody and I'm like, oh, I wonder what they're
- 2:11Speaker 1: doing now? Always somebody. But I'm actually happy to see
- 2:15Speaker 1: this j Lo story because I'm not gonna lie. At first,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I was a little skeptical of their reunion. I thought
- 2:20Speaker 1: it was like a little ill, you know, timed, a
- 2:23Speaker 1: little funny. But it seems like this time around they
- 2:25Speaker 1: actually have a grasp on each other, their careers and
- 2:29Speaker 1: the fact that they want this to work once again.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You've hit the nail on the head. Jennifer talks about
- 2:33Speaker 1: that in their new cover story, saying in the beginning
- 2:35Speaker 1: they were a little naive and they really had to
- 2:39Speaker 1: think about this. Now they're older, they're smarter, they're in
- 2:42Speaker 1: different places in their lives. But when they first got
- 2:44Speaker 1: back together, they were like, do we want to do
- 2:47Speaker 1: this again? Because it's not just the two of you.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Is the whole world watch it? And they have children,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and so she said, we really really thought about it,
- 2:56Speaker 1: but they decided yes, this time. They're trying to be
- 3:00Speaker 1: a little bit more primate. Although I say that with
- 3:03Speaker 1: a wink because she's on the cover of People magazine
- 3:05Speaker 1: talking about her sacred relationship. Now I love Jlo, you
- 3:10Speaker 1: know I love Jlo Jennifer. If it's that sacred, why
- 3:14Speaker 1: you are the cover of People magazine, Well, she's selling
- 3:16Speaker 1: a movie, so we can't we can't separate this. Jennifer
- 3:20Speaker 1: is a marketing expert. If she didn't have a movie out, Donnie,
- 3:24Speaker 1: would she be doing this cover? Absolutely not. But I
- 3:28Speaker 1: am guessing. In fact, I'm pretty much confirming. I know
- 3:31Speaker 1: on the red carpet she's going to turn up with bed.
- 3:34Speaker 1: These two are joining their star power together to sell
- 3:37Speaker 1: the movie. That's not the only reason they're together. I'm
- 3:40Speaker 1: not saying that at all. But while we're together, why
- 3:43Speaker 1: not use all this star power to sell tickets? Will
- 3:49Speaker 1: it work? It didn't in the past. One of the
- 3:51Speaker 1: reasons they broke up is they met in Gelie. That
- 3:53Speaker 1: movie they did together, it was a total bomb, a
- 3:56Speaker 1: total bomb. So I think they will get a lot
- 3:58Speaker 1: of attention. Goodness. Now she's already on the cover of
- 4:01Speaker 1: a magazine. If they turn up on the red carpet, yes,
- 4:03Speaker 1: we're going to go wild. It hasn't historically translated into
- 4:07Speaker 1: people buying stuff. It's very interesting, isn't it, Donny. A
- 4:11Speaker 1: lot of celebrities do all this press and it doesn't
- 4:13Speaker 1: always relate into tickets sales. I hope it does. The
- 4:16Speaker 1: movie looks charming. I think it's called Marry Me. So
- 4:19Speaker 1: Jennifer clearly has a sense of humor about her love life,
- 4:23Speaker 1: about her celebrity. But it brings us to our pole
- 4:25Speaker 1: question of the day. Jennifer is gushing about romance with
- 4:30Speaker 1: Ben Afflecke on the cover of People magazine, calling it sacred. Now,
- 4:35Speaker 1: normally something that's sacred, you might not want to talk
- 4:38Speaker 1: about it. It might be really very Yes, Jennifer is
- 4:42Speaker 1: calling its sacred on the cover of a magazine. Should
- 4:47Speaker 1: she be talking about this? Yes or no? Hey, go
- 4:50Speaker 1: vote on at a page at Naughty Nice Robber facebook
- 4:54Speaker 1: page is naughty to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Donny Love, what are you? So? This is actually a
- 5:02Speaker 1: really cringe worthy but amazing interaction. So Justin Bieber he
- 5:07Speaker 1: confronted Charlie Pooth for what he said on stage six
- 5:11Speaker 1: years ago. So the two singers, they were on FaceTime together,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and it turns out in Pooth yelled f you Justin
- 5:21Speaker 1: Bieber while he was on stage performing his Selina Gomez collaboration.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So obviously Bieber took it as like serious, like, hey,
- 5:32Speaker 1: this dude just yelled on stage. Well, then Bieber finally
- 5:36Speaker 1: got a chance to confront him, and he can be
- 5:38Speaker 1: heard saying, we've never really got to talk about just
- 5:40Speaker 1: like years ago when you said f you on stage.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Of course Charlie just kind of laughed because he was
- 5:46Speaker 1: like awkward, and then Bieber goes, I don't think it's
- 5:49Speaker 1: very funny, to be honest, and then of course Charlie
- 5:54Speaker 1: was like, you know, he was a joke and I'm sorry,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and then they both kind of sat there in an
- 5:58Speaker 1: awkward silence, and then booth By they goes, I get
- 6:01Speaker 1: tell if you're joking right now, and then of course
- 6:03Speaker 1: Justin laughed it up six years ago. He's over it,
- 6:06Speaker 1: but it was hilarious. I love it the videos. I'm
- 6:08Speaker 1: already gossip dot com. Donnie. How long do you hold
- 6:10Speaker 1: a grudge if somebody said Donny met Jama on stage?
- 6:14Speaker 1: How long would you remember that the rest of your life?
- 6:16Speaker 1: If I know you from that moment to the grave.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Because of what I do for a living giver gossip Columbez,
- 6:25Speaker 1: but I'm not rattling on on on this podcast. So
- 6:28Speaker 1: I upset people all the time, Donnie, and I forget
- 6:30Speaker 1: that I do this. And You've been out for drinks
- 6:34Speaker 1: with me, and we bumped into a celebrity or two,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and I've had to give you like a warning, like
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm not sure if this is going to go well.
- 6:42Speaker 1: We see the door open to the restaurant, the bar,
- 6:45Speaker 1: and we see them and I'm like, I do know them,
- 6:47Speaker 1: but I'm not sure if they're talking to me or
- 6:50Speaker 1: if they're gonna throw a drink at me. It's terrible.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I know. I think I'm so lazy to Donnie, I
- 6:56Speaker 1: forget to hold onto a grudge. I don't and maybe
- 7:00Speaker 1: maybe maybe I should think about this more often. But
- 7:04Speaker 1: I've definitely upset people and I've moved on. And the
- 7:07Speaker 1: problem is, Donnie, when I move on, I assume the
- 7:10Speaker 1: whole world has moved on. No, no, no, We've bumped
- 7:15Speaker 1: into a housewife or two, Donnie, and they've said, I've
- 7:18Speaker 1: said hello, Hello, pull up a chair, have a drink. Oh,
- 7:22Speaker 1: They've given me a look called the wagons, like grab
- 7:28Speaker 1: your grab your purse, you're going to run it any minute.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I think I've said something they don't like. It's terrible.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Six years that's a Donnie Meetchum grudge I've ever. I've
- 7:39Speaker 1: heard Dolly part and he's saying she hoped she doesn't
- 7:43Speaker 1: live as long as Betty White. So Betty White died
- 7:46Speaker 1: a few weeks ago. She was ninety nine years old,
- 7:49Speaker 1: almost a hundred. She suffered a stroke and then a
- 7:52Speaker 1: few weeks later she passed away. Dolly's talking had about her,
- 7:56Speaker 1: saying that she met her several times and she just
- 8:00Speaker 1: loved her and she thought she was great. Dolly Parton
- 8:03Speaker 1: told this to Access Hollywood, although she did go on
- 8:05Speaker 1: to say that I hope that I don't live as
- 8:08Speaker 1: long as Betty. Why she said, honestly, I hope to
- 8:12Speaker 1: go out at my peak, whenever that peak might be.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I hope to go out there. Now. I don't think
- 8:19Speaker 1: she's implying the Betty was past her peak, because some
- 8:23Speaker 1: people are saying that. I don't think this is shade
- 8:26Speaker 1: here by Dolly. But there's something really interesting about this. Darnny.
- 8:30Speaker 1: How long do you want to live? I know you
- 8:33Speaker 1: think about it all the time. If I was as
- 8:35Speaker 1: mobile and as happy and as alert as Betty seemed
- 8:39Speaker 1: in her last few you know time, I think, yes,
- 8:42Speaker 1: I would love to live that long. If I'm sitting,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you know, homebound, laying in a bed at no, I
- 8:48Speaker 1: don't want to live that right. It's about the quality,
- 8:50Speaker 1: isn't it? The qualities of your life. Although, Donnie, I've
- 8:53Speaker 1: got to say, your mobility is not that good right now.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I know the way I have to wheel you around
- 8:58Speaker 1: the restaurants. Wepefully I go out of my peak as well.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You're not a sprinter, you those skinny legs of yours.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Not a sprinter, but your mind's all there isn't that
- 9:09Speaker 1: the truth? Try pulling a fast one over you. That's
- 9:12Speaker 1: what happened. Hey, what's going on with Sean Penn Well
- 9:16Speaker 1: Tandy Newton. She's calling him a gibbering fool for comments
- 9:21Speaker 1: on his what he said about masculinity in America. Basically,
- 9:25Speaker 1: Sean Penn came out and said that men are being
- 9:27Speaker 1: too feminized in American culture, and he went on to
- 9:31Speaker 1: say he believes his cowardly genes are to blame for
- 9:35Speaker 1: what he sees his masculinity becoming vilified in American culture. Basically,
- 9:40Speaker 1: he's going on to say men are becoming more feminine,
- 9:42Speaker 1: They're taking more care of their hair and their their
- 9:44Speaker 1: nails and everything. I just think this is so ignorant.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It just drives me crazy, because wind is taking care
- 9:50Speaker 1: of your hair considered feminine or taking care of yourself. Yeah,
- 9:53Speaker 1: this feels like a really odd battle to be fining
- 9:57Speaker 1: Sean pen all the stuff that's going on in the
- 10:00Speaker 1: world and Harry Styles is annoying. Girl. It feels like
- 10:04Speaker 1: a really strange mountain to pitch your flagon, so to speak.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm from the world of Live and Lead Live, I
- 10:12Speaker 1: really am. I think most of the naughties are too.
- 10:15Speaker 1: This feels to me like a culture war. We hear
- 10:19Speaker 1: about those all the time on the real news, don't
- 10:21Speaker 1: we people fighting and screaming and getting angry. There's nothing
- 10:25Speaker 1: bad here? What do I care? Am I being too?
- 10:29Speaker 1: Am I missing the point here? I was quite shocked
- 10:31Speaker 1: about this because he did win the Oscar for playing Milk.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Remember that amazing movie about the out gay man in politics,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Harvey Milk in San Francisco. It's the Amazing movie. And
- 10:45Speaker 1: he was married to Madonna. You think of Sean pen
- 10:48Speaker 1: as somebody as having very liberal attitudes towards towards this staff,
- 10:54Speaker 1: and it appears that no, he's really angry about it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I just think it's wild. And to me, it's just
- 10:59Speaker 1: why do champiore a care enough and then be care
- 11:03Speaker 1: enough to come out and make a public men about it?
- 11:06Speaker 1: And what does she call him under that expression? Where
- 11:09Speaker 1: is it? What did she say? And gibbering fools? And
- 11:12Speaker 1: then she goes MF which means we use your ocabulary.
- 11:18Speaker 1: You used to be sexy, but now you're just trash.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I think she's hitting the nail on the head here too.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I don't find people sexy who are jibbering fools. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: just don't I find someone's attitude, the way they feel
- 11:36Speaker 1: about other people, that's what turns me on more maybe
- 11:40Speaker 1: than even the way you look. Sean Penn, you should
- 11:43Speaker 1: be our naughtiest of the day. But we're not yet
- 11:46Speaker 1: in that part of the show. So let's keep going. Hey,
- 11:48Speaker 1: this is a lovely story. Before we go to break Harry.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Prince Harry has organized a special zoom call for all
- 11:55Speaker 1: the royal cousins. So Harry might not be able to
- 11:59Speaker 1: return to Britain because of safety concerns for a while,
- 12:02Speaker 1: but he's decided this is no excuse for the cousins
- 12:05Speaker 1: to not get to know each other. So he said
- 12:07Speaker 1: up a very very special zoom call. It had Archie
- 12:11Speaker 1: On and Lily bit On, and also it had Katon,
- 12:14Speaker 1: William's children, and George and Charlotte and Louis. They've not
- 12:17Speaker 1: met each other as a big group. I think this
- 12:20Speaker 1: is lovely. So although we know that Harry and his
- 12:23Speaker 1: brother William, they certainly have issues, they're not going to
- 12:27Speaker 1: let their relationship, their toxic relationship, affect their children, their kids,
- 12:31Speaker 1: their babies, and so they're all jumping on a zoom together.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I think this must be so much fun. Could you
- 12:38Speaker 1: put your feelings to one side as a parent to
- 12:42Speaker 1: let the children enjoy one another. I would hope that
- 12:46Speaker 1: people out there could because the kids are they're just
- 12:48Speaker 1: so young, and they need to know each other because
- 12:50Speaker 1: family sometimes is how you got cousins. As you grow up,
- 12:54Speaker 1: you need people there in your life. So George and
- 12:57Speaker 1: Lily bed they could be besties and one of extraordinary
- 13:00Speaker 1: life they all have. They're all royals, like they've got
- 13:03Speaker 1: something to bind them together that most other families don't have.
- 13:08Speaker 1: There are very few people in the world who are
- 13:11Speaker 1: going to grow up with those circumstances. It's almost like
- 13:15Speaker 1: how pop stars become friends with other pop stars because
- 13:17Speaker 1: it's such an unusual life they live. Only other people
- 13:21Speaker 1: in the same boat, so to speak, can understand. I
- 13:25Speaker 1: think this is lovely and you know what to I'm
- 13:27Speaker 1: told from my sources that the children might actually help
- 13:32Speaker 1: grow peace for the parents. Isn't that wild that the
- 13:35Speaker 1: children are the ones acting like adults here? But if
- 13:39Speaker 1: something good comes out of this, I think it is
- 13:42Speaker 1: just marvelous. Hey, we're gonna take a quick break and
- 13:45Speaker 1: we will be right back. Welcome back to their naughty host,
- 13:52Speaker 1: Rob Shoots ideally mispronounced that Donnie, Hello Donnie, how are
- 13:56Speaker 1: you you look? Lovely? I see you've got your hair
- 13:58Speaker 1: or boufonted to day. Yes, the hired Jesus high to
- 14:06Speaker 1: heaven today. Do you have a new product in it? Now?
- 14:10Speaker 1: This is actually surprisingly nothing in it? What's a natural
- 14:14Speaker 1: out of the shower and you brushed it back? How
- 14:17Speaker 1: do you comb it back? Donnie? Brushing back? I just
- 14:19Speaker 1: let it air dry and use my han' drying and
- 14:22Speaker 1: you scratch away at it like that, lovely? When will
- 14:26Speaker 1: you put some glue in it? If I do, go
- 14:29Speaker 1: out of the house and then out there a little
- 14:31Speaker 1: bit spackling and sprays. And are you planning to go
- 14:34Speaker 1: out tonight tonight? No? I do not on Wednesday? Adults,
- 14:40Speaker 1: remember when you were in New York and we had
- 14:42Speaker 1: the radio show together at Derek and Remains. We finished
- 14:45Speaker 1: what about four o'clock thirty? We were at bos every night.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Love shit, we're all grown up. Now, hey, let's get
- 14:54Speaker 1: to the poles. Dotar Re revealed the Holda and a
- 14:59Speaker 1: fiance Joel all have broken up after eight years together.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Holda said, we are better off as friends and parents
- 15:06Speaker 1: than we are as fiances. Do you believe her? Do
- 15:10Speaker 1: you believe her? Or do you think something suspicious is
- 15:12Speaker 1: going on? Oh? The Naughties are so nice? Said, yes,
- 15:16Speaker 1: you believe her? Johnny, could you break up with somebody
- 15:19Speaker 1: and remain friends with her? Yeah? I could. I I'm
- 15:22Speaker 1: still friends with people that I've dated recently. We text
- 15:25Speaker 1: back and forth. I don't know if I would hang
- 15:27Speaker 1: out with them. I think that's different. You can remain friendly,
- 15:30Speaker 1: but we're not going to be the best. He's hanging
- 15:32Speaker 1: in Patinos thing. No, I'd be jealous. Now, Johnny, let
- 15:36Speaker 1: me ask too, have you been in a relationship that
- 15:40Speaker 1: has transformed into just a friendship? The sparkle has gone,
- 15:45Speaker 1: the love wink wink has gone. We don't say the
- 15:47Speaker 1: sex word on this show, but you know what time mean.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You've become roommates. Has that ever happened? It has happened.
- 15:54Speaker 1: And to where a friend of what we text were
- 15:56Speaker 1: actually part of a group chat and we talk all
- 15:58Speaker 1: the time, and he lives in New York City still,
- 16:00Speaker 1: and which is little friends. It does happen, doesn't it?
- 16:03Speaker 1: I think? Honestly, you have to keep your eye on
- 16:05Speaker 1: the prize here, everybody, you have to really try to
- 16:09Speaker 1: keep romance and loving the relationship, because it doesn't automatically
- 16:13Speaker 1: stay just because you start off loving each other and
- 16:17Speaker 1: wanting to kissing and hug and all sorts of other things,
- 16:21Speaker 1: it doesn't always stay in that way. Date night is
- 16:25Speaker 1: very important. Reconnect, Heyer, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nights Rob or
- 16:33Speaker 1: our Facebook page which she's Naughty Gossip, and be sure
- 16:35Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results are Now
- 16:39Speaker 1: it's time for and nicest of the dayer Well Jeopardy
- 16:45Speaker 1: record breaker Amy Schneider, she has fabulous She has thrown
- 16:50Speaker 1: out there who she would like to see become the
- 16:53Speaker 1: permanent host of Jeopardy, and she said, to no surprise,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I think Kan Jennings should be the host. I really,
- 17:01Speaker 1: She's like, I can't say enough about him. So Ken
- 17:03Speaker 1: Jennings is the only person who's actually won more money
- 17:06Speaker 1: than she has, so she's in second. But it also
- 17:09Speaker 1: seems the guy to just give it to kid now
- 17:11Speaker 1: if so many people have come out and said it
- 17:13Speaker 1: it's just awkward, is really really good at it? Although
- 17:16Speaker 1: I do like Maya Balick too. I do think she's great.
- 17:18Speaker 1: What I thought was really interesting here that Amy said
- 17:21Speaker 1: is that she didn't necessarily feel this way before she
- 17:24Speaker 1: started appearing on the show and being a champion. Being
- 17:27Speaker 1: on the show, she actually got to see him up
- 17:29Speaker 1: close and personal work, and she said, it's a very
- 17:32Speaker 1: different skills set from hosting a show or being a
- 17:35Speaker 1: guest on it. Get this, Donny. They take five shows
- 17:38Speaker 1: a day, five I know, and they do months in advance.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So she lost back in December. She knew about it,
- 17:46Speaker 1: and she had to keep it a secred five shows
- 17:49Speaker 1: a day. When you're working that hard, you've got to
- 17:54Speaker 1: keep it professional. And that's when the cracks show. I've
- 17:57Speaker 1: been on shows where we banged out a lot of
- 17:59Speaker 1: episode in one day, never five, But towards the end
- 18:02Speaker 1: a get a bit punchy. And then are the ones
- 18:05Speaker 1: where you know who are the professionals, because that's when
- 18:07Speaker 1: your real craft kicks in, because your mind's don Tomash,
