- Sue: As I reflect on events in my life from the standpoint of my tolerance of discomfort from the beginning of that event through the end, I notice with interest, I'm a tour guide of myself to you today in my personal block, that each and every time there's an element of self-sabotage, the kind of anxiety and apprehension and insecurity, self-doubt is what it is. And looking through the times of my life where I have experienced those, there's a pattern of length of time that it takes for me to stop self-sabotaging. As I've gotten older, that period of time of self-sabotage has shortened. I like to think it's partly due to my learning my lessons in life. The Karma. I've experienced. For me, the self-sabotaging is all about the tolerance I have for existing in that mindset until enough of the undercurrent itches at me to fix it. The how prepared are you kind of approach to life common to us all. For example, where you live, if you were to lose power, what do you do to continue living in that place? And given that we can't predict when power will be cut, how do you function if you're working in that situation and able to meet deadlines and things and commitments that you might have that impact your income? I have no tolerance for being in a situation where I am unable to generate income for myself. I survive on my income. I have figured out how in the living environment, what tools to have in hand in place to ensure that interruption is minimal. And it has also removed the stressors because of that. But there are certainly other areas of my life where I have yet to fully stop self-sabotaging is primarily because whatever is involved with helping to keep that system afloat might be restricted by finances, not because of my emotional weakness. For me, I have looked upon my life. read through these patterns and have been proactive about eliminating the bits that aren't working to move forward. You're acting on yourself that is positive because you're no longer allowing these stressful periods as a form of self-sabotage. Because you also know life being what it is, multifractually expanding, that there's going to be other times when you're going to be stressed out. And once you figure out how to control those self-sabotaging events, you can approach things going forward knowing that you've got the toolkit at hand to implement the fix. You know, we're human after all, we're all going to make mistakes. We're all going to be impacted by energies that are negative for us, whether they're diabolic or not, it's not the point, the issue is there are the beautiful aspects of being human, meaning that there are times when we F up. That's what the compassion is all about. And for those of us who have been there and done it with the effing up and continue to do so at an expert level, we understand that compassion and forgiveness and self-love are the tenets of what make us whole. And that's our faith. That's all rolled up in one confirmation with a woodpecker, spiritual bundle. For me, the result is peace and calm. That's truth. Why would I want to disrupt that? So then, once you pull all of that stuff together about your life and where you can kind of be more fly in my ear confirmation to get a more peaceful and calmer balance in your life, then you recognize what doesn't belong. And once you've established that, you look around you and notice with interest, just like a tour guy, confirmation with Woodpecker, who isn't at peace and calm. And then that gives you the perspective to better understand, well, do I have to have them in my life? You know, maybe it's a business thing. Confirmation with a bird tweet. Is it a loved one? All those decisions are yours to make. What I understand for me, which, you know, if you want to take this on board is helpful, that's fine. If not, that's cool too. That's not why I post. Is that stopping the self-sabotage by leaning into your faith opens up everything around you to be seen with clarity. And then you see those things that are murky more clearly. Can't get beyond the murk or the murkiness. Don't exist there then. It's not your job to clean it, but you can move away from it so the rest of your vision is clear. I mean, we do have the ability to be mobile with our mind, body, and spirit. We can direct our energy anywhere we wish. Anybody that tells you otherwise is trying to control you. Why would you allow that in your life? Even if that person is a loved one and has your best interests at heart. That's still not their life. It's your life. Might even actually align their decisions for you, might actually align for your decisions for you. still not their life to control. It's none of their business, actually, even if they are a parent or a sibling or a spouse, particularly if it's a spouse for the sake that you entered into that relationship willingly, maybe not with the information you now have, but they still are built with the ability to have enough discernment, yes, no, whether these are relationships to cultivate for a long term. Might take us a long time to discover that the relationships are no longer serving us. That's life. That's my whole point. Both parties have to have an equal understanding of that, often don't. And even if they do have the same understanding, life changes things. That compassion and acceptance, even amongst something that has been a long-term event, and then you look back on it and realize that it was more stress than anything else, and you've been self-sabotaging with that relationship the whole time, not realizing that's all right. Again, compassion and forgiveness. We're human. given that there are those who utilize those traits of humanity for their own gain. That's where your understanding of where your breaking points are in your life to be the guide for you getting through. Because as you grow older, as you age, those breaking point durations should become shorter. You've lived more life. You've learned from the karma. You recognize that there's no point doing that again when there's so much else in the world, the universe. to experience. The wonderlust has still got to be there. The curiosity has still got to be there. There's the joy in allowing your life to have your brain be filled with the fun stuff, whether you're alone or whether you're with someone. Could be two different events, simply about being self-aware. The events that brought these awarenesses to my, or these levels of understanding. to me or just living life. For myself, when I look back on, let's say, the length of my professional career is sort of the time period. Well, at this point, that's over 30 years, 35 years or more. So I don't feel regret. It's about acceptance then and the understanding that every breath gives you the hope to be able to have new kind of mindset of wiping the slate clean in a positive way, taking all of that knowledge that you've learned from the karma as your guide to creating new. and recognizing that by ridding yourself of those self-sabotaging events to the best that you can minimize them by being prepared and, you know, having Plan B and C in place of things to mitigate external factors that you can't control immediately but can control as an emergency option, allows yourself to then open up and be receiving of the things that do benefit you. Because in the end, it's not about being 100 % positive or a 100 % negative, it's about maintaining a balance of each and recognizing that there will be times that there'll be this momentary imbalance, not permanent confirmation with the bee buzzing. I could play the shoulda, coulda, woulda game here with myself. There again, that's a little self-doubting energy, but I won't. I accept what the past is, what my actions were, and can only suggest that each and every one of us can do that as a starting point. to removing all that in our lives is causing us stress to the extent that we can mitigate or ameliorate those individual events. The universe is better for us. So thank you. If this resonates, I'd be interested to know. If not, thanks for your time. All of you, thank you for listening. I appreciate you and I'm grateful for our connection.
