- 0:51Speaker 1: Hello friend, chaplain Terry Warner here.
- 1:13Speaker 1: This is podcast or word related podcast part one season 2025, episode 30, word related part one Come Alive in 2025, episode 30, word Related Part 1.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Come alive in 2025, how?
- 1:33Speaker 1: By planting seeds.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Seed time and harvest is how we plant, grow and harvest blessings that are available to us.
- 1:38Speaker 1: However, so many times we get sidetracked, waste our seed or fail to harvest our seed.
- 1:43Speaker 1: We have a great experience at church or experience a mighty move of God and immediately start doing things for God.
- 1:51Speaker 1: One of the first things we do is start planting our seeds before we learn how to farm and grow our crops for harvest.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Because we are ignorant when it comes to seed time and harvest, a lot of our crop is lost and the increase is stolen or reaped by others.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Since money is probably one of the most difficult to handle, let's take a look at how to increase your income.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Give and it shall be given unto you.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over, shall men give unto your bosom, for with the same measure that you meet with all it shall be measured to you again.
- 2:32Speaker 1: That's Luke 6, 38.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I tell you what I had to increase my income.
- 2:37Speaker 1: What I did I went out and worked more overtime.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Now, that's totally.
- 2:43Speaker 1: The Bible didn't even bring that up.
- 2:45Speaker 1: This is what I'm talking about.
- 2:47Speaker 1: We're trying to plant seed and reap a harvest.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Trying to plant and cultivate seed and reap a harvest when we don't understand the principles of farming or the principles of seed planting.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Let's say you need to plant 100 acres of wheat, but you have never planted wheat before, you have have never cultivated it and you have never reaped it.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It would be easy for the devil and his cohorts to harm your seed, steal your seed and prevent you from reaping a sufficient harvest.
- 3:18Speaker 1: So before we get all excited and start sowing seeds, let's take a look at some things that will ruin your harvest.
- 3:27Speaker 1: In Mark 11, chapter 11, jesus and his disciples get close to Jerusalem and the next day, as they were going to Jerusalem, jesus sees a fig tree a little ways off and walks over to it to see if there might be any figs on it to eat Mark 11, 13.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And seeing a fig tree far off and having leaves, he came if, happily, he might find anything thereon.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Pay attention to verse 14.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Pay attention to verse 14.
- 4:04Speaker 1: And Jesus answered and said unto it no man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And his disciples heard it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: The fig tree is representative of Israel.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Israel did not believe Jesus.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They believed to be the son of God.
- 4:26Speaker 1: They believed him to be the son of Joseph.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And it he cursed his fig tree.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And I always sort of felt sorry for the fig tree being cursed.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Seemed like the fig tree was sitting over my mind in its own business.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Jesus comes along, doesn't find what the fruit wants and curses it.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But then I read in verse 14, where Jesus answered and said unto it the fig tree was talking back to him saying you're not going to get any figs off of me.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And Jesus said unto him have faith in God.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Unto them, this is his disciples, for verily, I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Therefore, I say unto you what whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And when you stand praying, forgive if you have ought against any, that your Father also, which is in heaven, may forgive you your trespasses.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father, which is in heaven, forgive you your trespasses.
- 5:44Speaker 1: But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father, which is in heaven, forgive you your trespasses.
- 5:48Speaker 1: So unforgiveness or having something against your brother is going to prevent your seed from reaping and making a harvest for you.
- 5:59Speaker 1: The other thing I want you to see is that Jesus is talking to the unseen.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He's calling things that are not as though they were.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You know, I fly airplanes Not active anymore, but I'm a pilot, an instrument-rated pilot, and going down the runway, when I go 70 miles an hour down the runway, that plane, that wing, develops lift.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I can't see the lift, I can't feel the lift, I can't tell what the lift is going to do.
- 6:33Speaker 1: But when I put thrust and power together, thrust power and speed together, I get lift and that two-ton airplane will come off the ground and fly, take us where we want to go safely.
- 6:49Speaker 1: And then, when I slow down, I come back and land.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Now what have I done?
- 6:55Speaker 1: I have superseded the law of gravity by using the law of thrust and the law of lift.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I didn't counteract it or do away with it, I just moved it up a level.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And for years, you know, we didn't think this could be done.
- 7:10Speaker 1: For years we didn't think it'd be done.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And I guarantee you or I would say I can't guarantee anything, but I would say most of us have this idea that well, I'll plant all the seeds, I'll just keep planting and planting, and planting, and planting, and surely I'll get a harvest of some kind, and we do to a point, but we do not get it to the direction and the fullness that Jesus did.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Anyway, verse 20.
- 7:58Speaker 1: For verily, I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Therefore, I say unto you Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And when you stand praying, forgive.
- 8:26Speaker 1: If you have ought against any forgive, so your Father in heaven may forgive you.
- 8:37Speaker 1: What are we saying again?
- 8:39Speaker 1: I just repeated the parable of the sower.
- 8:41Speaker 1: We've been planting seed and planting seed, and planting seed, but I didn't know how to cultivate it.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I didn't know how to water it, I didn't know how to make it grow and produce and reap a big harvest.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I just didn't know how.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So, consequently, I wasted a lot of seed.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I wasted a lot of seed.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't know how many thousands of dollars I wasted planting it in non-profitable places where it shouldn't have gone.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Now look at the parable of the sower.
- 9:09Speaker 1: We're still talking about planting seed.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Matthew 13, starting in verse 37.
- 9:15Speaker 1: He answered and said unto them he that sows the good seed is the son of man.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Why is he calling himself the son of man?
- 9:26Speaker 1: He does this to show you that not only is he the son of God, but he's also the son of man.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Not Joseph's son, but he is Mary's son and the seed is God.
- 9:42Speaker 1: The Father, the Holy Spirit, came unto Mary and she conceived and bore a son and named him Jesus.
- 9:50Speaker 1: And she said when the angel Gabriel came to her and said you know the Holy Spirit, she said how is this going to happen, since I don't know a man, since I've not had a relationship with a man?
- 10:02Speaker 1: How is this going to happen, since I don't know a man, since I've not had a relationship with a man?
- 10:05Speaker 1: How's this going to happen?
- 10:06Speaker 1: And he says you know, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and overshadow you and you will conceive and bear a son and his name will be called Jesus and he will be the son of God, but he will also be 100% man and 100% God.
- 10:26Speaker 1: The Son of man in his ministry shows him to be the incarnate Son of God.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It was God reconciling the world unto himself through Jesus.
- 10:37Speaker 1: 2 Corinthians 5.18.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And all things are of God, who has reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Now clarifying, it was God in Christ who was sowing the word of God into our hearts.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's the earth, and everything in the earth is available for that seed to have everything it needs to grow and mature and make a harvest.
- 11:07Speaker 1: But some of us had hearts like the sower in Luke 8, 5 through 18.
- 11:18Speaker 1: A sower went out to sow his seed and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside Think of the ditch around the outside of the land and it was trodden down and the fowls of the air devoured it.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And some fell upon a rock and as soon as it sprung up it withered away because it lacked moisture.
- 11:38Speaker 1: And some fell among thorns and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And some fell among thorns and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: And another seed fell on good ground and sprang up and bare fruit a hundredfold.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And when he had said these things, he cried, he yelled at them.
- 11:52Speaker 1: He that has ears to hear, let them hear.
- 11:57Speaker 1: They all had ears.
- 11:58Speaker 1: What's he talking about?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Your spiritual ears.
- 12:02Speaker 1: In order to win at sowing and reaping, you will need to understand how to recognize good seed, how to plant your seed correctly and where to plant your seed.
- 12:11Speaker 1: If you're going to church and throwing your offering in the offering plate and not directing and watching where it goes and praying over where it goes, you may be sowing in a ditch and you wouldn't even know it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You may be sowing in the middle of the road and you wouldn't know it.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It doesn't work that way.
- 12:28Speaker 1: You have got to be able to count or accurately point that seed where God would like you to put it, and direct it and water it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: How do you water it?
- 12:40Speaker 1: By praying over it?
- 12:41Speaker 1: How do you water it without letting the devil know what you're doing?
- 12:44Speaker 1: You're praying in tongues.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I cannot believe the number of people in our churches today that think tongues is just something they can have if they want, or just something they can have if they feel like it.
- 12:57Speaker 1: They don't see the necessity of it.
- 12:59Speaker 1: They don't see the necessity of planting your seed in wisdom and direction and authority and expecting a harvest and calling that harvest forth and speaking unto that harvest that you don't have yet.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You don't get a harvest the next day or within 24 hours.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Most seed requires 90 days In a lot of cases, some of them require longer than that.
- 13:26Speaker 1: The seed of a person requires nine months before they mature and are born a baby, and then requires several years of training the way it should go before they get up to where they can operate on their own.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You've got to get in agreement and God's understanding and laws and work with him if you want to succeed in this.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Come alive in 2025.
- 13:53Speaker 1: How?
- 13:54Speaker 1: By planting seeds, but not by destroying them out there anywhere and in the ditch and behind rocks and everywhere else, and they won't.
- 14:05Speaker 1: They won't sprout, they won't, they'll die, they'll wither away.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And you've planted all this money in seeds and it's gone to waste.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And you're wondering why your bank account's in the red and not in the black.
- 14:20Speaker 1: And what do you do?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna give you some proverbs and this will help you out.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Mainly what you do is you read that word.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You read the bible until it starts enlightening you and operates and shows you a path.
- 14:35Speaker 1: First thing you want to do is seek wisdom.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Proverbs 2 1, verse 2, verse 3, verse 4, verse 5, verse 6.
- 14:46Speaker 1: The next thing you want to do, that's seek wisdom first, that one I gave you.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Trust God to direct your steps and keep you healthy Proverbs 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Honor God with your increase.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Keep God's word in your heart continually.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I want to recommend a ministry that you get hooked up with.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's Charles Capps.
- 15:33Speaker 1: It's Cappministriescom C-A-P-P-S-M-I-N-I-S-T-R-I-E-Scom.
- 15:44Speaker 1: They're out of Broken Arrow, oklahoma, and they really have good teaching on sowing and reaping and planting.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You have got to get out of this mindset that I can just throw a few dollars in the offering plate and God's going to bless me.
- 16:01Speaker 1: No, the devil's going to have you for lunch and he's going to make sure that nothing works.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Everything you set your hand to do is going to quit, fall apart or break.
- 16:11Speaker 1: That's what got me into this full gospel teaching and full gospel of the Bible.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I got tired of everything I touched, broke, quit or fell apart.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I got tired of it.
- 16:25Speaker 1: And when I got married and I married Arlene, my wife of 53 plus years, we decided we'd build the house for God and we'd do it right.
- 16:35Speaker 1: And we had so much stuff wrong.
- 16:37Speaker 1: We had so much stuff that we weren't doing right Yet.
- 16:41Speaker 1: We had to unlearn a lot of stuff.
- 16:42Speaker 1: But you know what?
- 16:43Speaker 1: God was patient with us and we kept plugging away and plugging away and plugging away and when we did.
- 16:51Speaker 1: It started trickling in and we started getting a little harvest and a little more, and a little more and a little more.
- 16:58Speaker 1: And now we live and walk in abundance and prosperity.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Everything I set in my hand to do prospers.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I am more than a conqueror.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Through Jesus Christ I can do all things.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Through Jesus Christ, who gives me strength.
- 17:10Speaker 1: In him I live and move and have my being.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I call those things they're not as though they were.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I speak my desired results and I give thanks to the Lord and I believe it in my heart before I see it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: That's the way to go.
- 17:28Speaker 1: When you became a Christian, what did you do?
- 17:30Speaker 1: You believed the Word of God in your heart and confessed it with your mouth, and you were born again.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But when you want a black bank account, black figure number bank account, you believe it in your heart, confess it with your mouth.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I have enough.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I suffer no want.
- 17:50Speaker 1: My God meets all my needs according to his riches and glory.
- 17:54Speaker 1: By Christ Jesus.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Say it a hundred times, say it a thousand times, say it ten thousand times, say it until you bring that into reality.
- 18:03Speaker 1: When Jesus Christ becomes Lord and meets your every need, you have a blessed day in Jesus' name Amen.
