- 1:34Speaker 5: You're looking good man.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Do we actually look sunburnt?
- 1:37Speaker 5: Moggy looks a bit red.
- 1:38Speaker 4: No, I put on some sunscreen, babes. I'm as good
- 1:40Speaker 4: as gold.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So it's just your eyes, man, just your red eyes.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Hard dude.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's gonna be a good show.
- 1:53Speaker 3: It's gonna be an absolute doozy. Hopefully the cricket's on of
- 1:56Speaker 3: the moment. I'm pretty sure it has a four man
- 1:58Speaker 3: that's a fourth thirty. Okay, So we'll give you a
- 2:00Speaker 3: updates about that, but we will tell you about our
- 2:03Speaker 3: beautiful day on the Hodaki golf and I'll tell you
- 2:05Speaker 3: what fellas. Let's get some tunes going made, get energy gun.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a great show.
- 2:10Speaker 1: He's a bit of Nevada, the Holaky Big Shows with
- 2:15Speaker 1: Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kizyes.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Indeed punk there on the radio Hodarky Big Show this
- 2:20Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon, twelve minutes past four o'clock. Now, our regular
- 2:24Speaker 3: listeners will remember that a little while back we were
- 2:28Speaker 3: running a fishing competition. Your chances come out on a
- 2:30Speaker 3: boat with the Big Show team do a bit of
- 2:32Speaker 3: fishing in the Hodaki Golf thanks to our good mates
- 2:36Speaker 3: at Site Smart. And it took us a little while
- 2:39Speaker 3: to sort of organize it, didn't it fell us.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Well, we organized it, but your schedule mean you were
- 2:43Speaker 7: constantly unavailable because you're filming stuff, top secret stuff.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Oh.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I was going to say it was Moggi's fault, but yeah, no, yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 3: it was my fault. But we finally got out there
- 2:53Speaker 3: today on the Beautiful with the team at Hodaki Express.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and we went.
- 2:59Speaker 3: From piles out to see about it over an hour,
- 3:02Speaker 3: an hour and a quarter out to sea. And the
- 3:05Speaker 3: great thing about it was as soon as the skipper
- 3:07Speaker 3: dropped the line overboard, bang like within five seconds, the
- 3:10Speaker 3: fish of the day which Kezy hold in and it was.
- 3:14Speaker 5: An absolute beauty.
- 3:17Speaker 4: It was a beautiful fish.
- 3:19Speaker 2: How big was it, Jason?
- 3:20Speaker 4: What was it like?
- 3:21Speaker 5: Forty five forty six centimeters?
- 3:22Speaker 2: No, it was fifty something.
- 3:23Speaker 5: I was a fifty something. Yeah, it was a magnificent snapper.
- 3:28Speaker 4: It was a hoo, It was a hori.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It wasn't a horror of a mood as well when
- 3:32Speaker 2: he brought it up.
- 3:34Speaker 7: But the thing that really happened was the captain literally
- 3:37Speaker 7: was just showing us how to use the fishing rods. Yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 7: and then he caught one instantly and just gave it
- 3:41Speaker 7: to me and I keasy.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that was a bit sarcastic though, But you did
- 3:46Speaker 4: a good job. You didn't lose it. He didn't lose it.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I just turned the reel, he turned the thing, turned
- 3:51Speaker 4: the handle.
- 3:52Speaker 7: Cranked it, and then when I got it up, he
- 3:54Speaker 7: took it off, He used it, he took it off
- 3:56Speaker 7: of the hook, he killed it, and then gave it
- 3:58Speaker 7: to me to take a photo with.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Ye.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so I've been gone fishing all days.
- 4:02Speaker 3: And then and this is what was really special about
- 4:04Speaker 3: it too, was that immediately we caught the fresh old
- 4:06Speaker 3: Pugu son was there with his knives and.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Sashimi. Yeah, oh how good?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Amazing?
- 4:13Speaker 5: Right?
- 4:13Speaker 2: I never had to see me that free.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it was unbelievably fresh. How did you find it?
- 4:18Speaker 5: Mogi?
- 4:18Speaker 4: It was great. I'm not a person that goes fishing.
- 4:22Speaker 4: If somebody says, I, do you want to go fishing,
- 4:24Speaker 4: my instinct is to say no, sure, same here, actually, yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 4: do you want to go fishing? Man? Nah, I'm all goods.
- 4:30Speaker 4: It's a long way out. That's a long way, you
- 4:33Speaker 4: sort of. And also I think if you don't know
- 4:35Speaker 4: where you're going any trip, and that's car or anything
- 4:38Speaker 4: or whatever, it feels a long way. And it felt
- 4:41Speaker 4: a long way. I was looking at us, we're sort
- 4:43Speaker 4: of going for about half an hour, and I was singing, geez,
- 4:45Speaker 4: were going a long way here, bloody yell. And I
- 4:48Speaker 4: was looking over in the distance here and there was
- 4:49Speaker 4: a couple of islands and I was saying, God, I
- 4:51Speaker 4: hope we're not going to those islands. And we went
- 4:54Speaker 4: past those islands. But then we got out there and
- 4:57Speaker 4: it was all good, and we had our winners with us,
- 4:59Speaker 4: which we would say as well we had been and
- 5:02Speaker 4: devon lovely couple from qumurely keen eager fisher humans. But yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 4: it went really well. And what was interesting Joss, you
- 5:12Speaker 4: caught I caught. I caught one fish, very nice, another fish,
- 5:17Speaker 4: but it got off and it was a big bastard
- 5:19Speaker 4: as well. They couldn't actually have fitted on the boat,
- 5:21Speaker 4: it was that big. But somehow I managed a bag
- 5:23Speaker 4: of that up. You caught about eight Will that be
- 5:25Speaker 4: about right?
- 5:26Speaker 2: I reckon more than that?
- 5:27Speaker 8: No, it was yeah, I think about eight, yeah, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 8: and seven of them were undersize.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, but but well other people had caught none,
- 5:38Speaker 4: like Ben and Devon who caught nothing for hours. You
- 5:41Speaker 4: were just one after the other after the other, and
- 5:43Speaker 4: every single one of them was tiny, tiny, little fishy there.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 4: And every time it would come up, you go, it's
- 5:48Speaker 4: a beautiful fish, and the captain would say, well it's undersized,
- 5:52Speaker 4: and that's right back. You know, what are you talking about?
- 5:53Speaker 4: It's all good and he's like, no, it's illegal, and
- 5:56Speaker 4: you're like, no, nada, we sweet airs, We'll just keep it.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Who's going to know? Who's going to know? You off
- 6:00Speaker 4: and eat it now? And I just thought it was
- 6:02Speaker 4: poor from you man. So if that's what you've been
- 6:04Speaker 4: doing on your fishing trips off the wharf, I just.
- 6:09Speaker 7: He's definitely been taking home undersized fish. How fortunately how
- 6:13Speaker 7: he catches how it was very funny though that I
- 6:18Speaker 7: caught a big one straight away, and then Mogi got
- 6:20Speaker 7: a decent size one, and then you just continued to
- 6:22Speaker 7: catch baby fish for about three straight hours.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Can I just make a point here, I've caught much
- 6:28Speaker 3: smaller fish than that kept, and some of them are
- 6:30Speaker 3: actually just undersize. And as I was talking to the
- 6:33Speaker 3: skipper there, he said, actually the size is twenty seven
- 6:37Speaker 3: for this area.
- 6:37Speaker 5: So I no, no.
- 6:39Speaker 4: No, he did, They said he normally fish. He said,
- 6:44Speaker 4: over on the other side of the island, it's twenty seven.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Here it's thirty. So that's you can use your rule.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Last thing, I need him to call up because he
- 6:52Speaker 3: said it actually in that area it is actually twenty seve.
- 6:54Speaker 7: We can quite easily google it. Yeah, good jas, but no,
- 6:58Speaker 7: what is it about it? We've got a fridge full
- 6:59Speaker 7: of first that we.
- 7:00Speaker 4: All trot it for you absolutely before you're going to
- 7:04Speaker 4: Keyzy doesn't want his because he hates fish.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Can I make the point I did catch one legal fish?
- 7:08Speaker 4: You did?
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, what was weird about first?
- 7:12Speaker 4: You looked really disappointed when he said it was When
- 7:14Speaker 4: you said it was legal, you were got it.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, because the illegal ones taste much sweeter, you
- 7:23Speaker 5: know what I'm saying.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, the flesh is just yeah. The snapper, well,
- 7:27Speaker 2: if you're going to throw me under the buses.
- 7:31Speaker 7: Guys have tumber Raune far.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Out the Hidarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 7:39Speaker 3: And Kesey Queen and David Bowie there on the radio
- 7:42Speaker 3: Hot Arky Big Show this Thursday afternoon and the crickets
- 7:46Speaker 3: just starting. Looks like New Zelands lost the toss again
- 7:48Speaker 3: and tri lunka into bat. So let's just call the
- 7:52Speaker 3: Test match now victory Sri Lanka.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Anyway, today we went.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Fishing, and boy boy, some interesting things happen, didn't they feel?
- 7:59Speaker 2: Certainly do.
- 8:00Speaker 7: Jay specialized in catching undersized fish. I caught the massivest
- 8:05Speaker 7: one of the day, most massivest instantly.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I just got the right out, caught it and then
- 8:10Speaker 2: put it away again.
- 8:12Speaker 7: But the funniest thing for me that happened was punksn
- 8:14Speaker 7: and I arrived at the jetty there and me, oh, yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 7: you were there too. Jason was with us. Mike, oh yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 7: he wants you to. Yeah. So we hop out of
- 8:25Speaker 7: the ute and I seen in the distance. Old Mogi's
- 8:27Speaker 7: waiting by the entrance to the marina there with our
- 8:28Speaker 7: two lovely prize winners, Ben and Devon. And he's got
- 8:33Speaker 7: this pretty sick pair of sonnies on. Because Mogi is
- 8:36Speaker 7: a trendy guy. Like right now, he's got a dire
- 8:38Speaker 7: wolf shirt on for you, like a Game of Throne
- 8:40Speaker 7: style Winter is coming Die Wolf shit, which is pretty cool.
- 8:43Speaker 7: And he's paired that with his swany and a pair
- 8:45Speaker 7: of sort of black sunglasses.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Cat, what's this? How are you described?
- 8:52Speaker 3: And I've got to be honest. As soon as I
- 8:54Speaker 3: saw you, I thought to myself, that was my first thought.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Why is Mogi wearing Dame ead in a sunglasses?
- 9:01Speaker 2: That's right?
- 9:02Speaker 5: Is there some sort of joke that I'm missing out
- 9:04Speaker 5: on here?
- 9:05Speaker 7: If you go to the Huduky Big Show Instagram page
- 9:07Speaker 7: or the Radio Huduky Facebook page, We've put a few
- 9:09Speaker 7: photos up of us fishing, you can actually see him
- 9:11Speaker 7: wearing these sunglasses. And I instantly put a little message
- 9:15Speaker 7: in our group chat, Magie's put his wife's sunglasses on.
- 9:19Speaker 2: It's a bit of a joke. He didn't respond to that.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I was that's weird.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I still haven't seen that message.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Oh right, yeah, okay.
- 9:24Speaker 7: And then we were out there on the water and
- 9:26Speaker 7: then I said, why are you wearing your wife's sunglasses?
- 9:29Speaker 7: And you took a wee bit of fense to that.
- 9:31Speaker 7: You're like, the literally exactly the same as your.
- 9:33Speaker 4: It was the second time you brought it up. Right,
- 9:35Speaker 4: the first time you brought it up, you said, Magie
- 9:38Speaker 4: has got his dial wolf shit. Now, now where do
- 9:44Speaker 4: you see it? There? I'm thinking to myself, my wife
- 9:47Speaker 4: and I have just bought brand new sunglasses. We got
- 9:49Speaker 4: them last week, right, and so I have this is
- 9:52Speaker 4: the second time that I've worn my sunglasses, and I'm thinking, man,
- 9:54Speaker 4: I'm getting bad reviews on the second wed. Oh, so
- 9:56Speaker 4: you're feeling about it. But also I'm thinking, well, they
- 9:58Speaker 4: were the same as yours. You you got, you got
- 10:01Speaker 4: it with a second that you brought it up again
- 10:03Speaker 4: forty minutes later, and you're like, you said, honestly, are
- 10:06Speaker 4: those your wife's sunglasses? Yeah? And I said, no, they're
- 10:10Speaker 4: the same as yours.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah and yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 4: And so then I'm in the camera. I'm like, he's
- 10:16Speaker 4: really going on about this. So I take the sunglasses
- 10:18Speaker 4: off and I am, in fact wearing my wife's sunglasses.
- 10:22Speaker 2: This is the funny part.
- 10:23Speaker 7: He didn't realize he had grabbed his wife's sunglasses and
- 10:26Speaker 7: it'd been wearing them all morning, and they were like,
- 10:28Speaker 7: Dame Edner, Google Dame Indner for you if you don't.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Glasses very much, the glass You know, when you go
- 10:34Speaker 4: into a sunglass store and you're like, hey, which where's
- 10:37Speaker 4: the where's the men's and where's the woman's sunglasses? Yes,
- 10:41Speaker 4: these are very much in the woman's there. You know,
- 10:45Speaker 4: times you're gonna be walking around, You're like, I'm not
- 10:46Speaker 4: sure if I'm in the men's sunglass here. These might
- 10:49Speaker 4: be unisex. Now the ones that I was wearing today a.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Thousands, And I thought because I was like, you know,
- 10:55Speaker 7: he's very protecular of body wears and stuff. Yeah, he'll
- 10:58Speaker 7: be very proud of his sunny's side. I'll make a
- 11:00Speaker 7: few jokes. He didn't take it well, and I was like,
- 11:02Speaker 7: oh god, I'm upset moging his new sunnies. But then
- 11:05Speaker 7: he took it off, was like, oh my god, I'm
- 11:06Speaker 7: wearing my wife's sunglasses. Have I been wearing these all day?
- 11:08Speaker 7: Who have I seen while wearing these?
- 11:10Speaker 3: I actually thought too that you were taking the purse. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 3: like I went, God, he looks ridiculous. And then I
- 11:16Speaker 3: kind of left it at that.
- 11:17Speaker 4: But then also Keys his credit at least he brought
- 11:20Speaker 4: it up. Sure everybody else just thought I was an idiot.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I also did think to myself very briefly there
- 11:27Speaker 3: for a moment or maybe then they're the new thing,
- 11:31Speaker 3: you know what I mean in the sun.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Maybe it's the new hip thing going on out there.
- 11:36Speaker 4: They are up on Instagram. You have to trus for
- 11:38Speaker 4: I think it's a third or foe for the photo along.
- 11:41Speaker 4: But what it happened was I picked up my sunglasses
- 11:44Speaker 4: in their case, and then also the frames and the
- 11:47Speaker 4: look of them is the same. They're made it the
- 11:49Speaker 4: same stuff there as black. There's no design on either,
- 11:51Speaker 4: and they're just the same sort of So I've obviously
- 11:53Speaker 4: just seen some black sunnies and then put them on.
- 11:57Speaker 2: All day it walked out the door. Oh God gimes.
- 12:02Speaker 7: And then you add that in the fact that he
- 12:04Speaker 7: left his bag at the pub.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, shambles.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Hey, coming up, just with regards to the fishing trip,
- 12:11Speaker 3: as Keyzy said, he called an absolute whopper, and there
- 12:15Speaker 3: were a few comments on our Instagram about how Keasy
- 12:19Speaker 3: was holding the fish that I'd like to go through.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Was that alright with you?
- 12:23Speaker 5: Kezy?
- 12:23Speaker 7: Sure, man, I mean it's I'm sure it's all like
- 12:25Speaker 7: you know, Oh, well done Keezy on the big Fish.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Yeah, good on you. Yeah, absolutely, it's definitely go through
- 12:32Speaker 2: that next nice the.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Hod Aki Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Indeed radio head there on the radio hold Aki Big
- 12:41Speaker 3: Show this Thursday afternoon early break through for New Zealand
- 12:45Speaker 3: and the cricket Sri Lanka one for six. The bowler
- 12:48Speaker 3: was salvy, the catcher was blundle blind. Yeah good now.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Listen.
- 12:53Speaker 3: We mentioned that we had our fishing trip today and
- 12:56Speaker 3: right from the get go, when the skipper dropped the
- 12:59Speaker 3: first line, the board bang. Within five seconds we had
- 13:01Speaker 3: an absolute cracking snapper on there. Kezy wound it in
- 13:05Speaker 3: and it was the first catch of the day and
- 13:07Speaker 3: it was a bloody, quite seriously impressive fish. It was
- 13:10Speaker 3: an impressive fish. It was a magnificent snapper. So, of
- 13:15Speaker 3: course Punk Sun, being the genius that he is, he
- 13:18Speaker 3: decided to take a photo with Kezy holding his prize
- 13:22Speaker 3: trophy there and if you go on the Instagram account
- 13:25Speaker 3: they're Facebook.
- 13:27Speaker 5: You'll see Kesy holding up his fish.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Now, first and foremost, he's holding it with a towel
- 13:35Speaker 3: wrapped around his tail.
- 13:38Speaker 4: It's like a microfiber towel.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yes, that's right, almum cloth.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And I noted that a lot of people have made
- 13:45Speaker 3: comments about that particular.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Picture.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Markole Marcoholl says, holding your fish with the tetwel rock
- 13:56Speaker 3: and roll.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Kesy, And it's pretty rock and rock. Can I say
- 14:00Speaker 4: that I've never seen a photo where somebody's holding a
- 14:03Speaker 4: fish and they've got a towel wrapped around it. I'm
- 14:06Speaker 4: assuming Keezy because you don't want to touch it. Was
- 14:08Speaker 4: that the idea?
- 14:09Speaker 5: Well, you did say it feels icky.
- 14:11Speaker 7: Well, the little secret about me is I don't like fish, right,
- 14:15Speaker 7: I don't eat fish.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I don't so for that reason, I like to go
- 14:18Speaker 2: on the bone, just chill.
- 14:19Speaker 7: I don't actually care about going fishing, and I didn't
- 14:21Speaker 7: think I would be fishing. He handed me the rod.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Next minute, I'm dragging in this giant winner of a
- 14:26Speaker 7: fish called Keezy ah. And then he and then he's like,
- 14:29Speaker 7: I'll pick it up and I'll take a photo. And
- 14:31Speaker 7: it kept wiggling around and I was like, no, I
- 14:32Speaker 7: don't know, man, I'm gonna drop. It's gonna be gross.
- 14:34Speaker 7: Blood's gonna get everywhere. And so he gave me a
- 14:36Speaker 7: towel and I was like, yea, ill use that to
- 14:38Speaker 7: sort of grip it better.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Surely forget.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Well, here's one in the positive for your keysy. Shit,
- 14:44Speaker 3: you're kesy want to catch all the ladies will swipe
- 14:46Speaker 3: right on that.
- 14:47Speaker 7: One because the pantsmen put our social guy put it
- 14:50Speaker 7: up saying it was my new tender profile.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Pick this one here, old fish fingers kesy. Yeah, yeah cool,
- 14:57Speaker 4: but that's what you're trying to avoid. Wasn't it kezy
- 14:59Speaker 4: at all costs?
- 15:00Speaker 3: Mister Google Fingers always had a romance a rag handy.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, So.
- 15:06Speaker 7: These are all comments. This is good, I thought. Is
- 15:08Speaker 7: anyone just saying, wow, kezy? Really impressive?
- 15:10Speaker 2: Man?
- 15:12Speaker 4: A smile wouldn't hurt the aches?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, that's all right, it's not too bad.
- 15:15Speaker 4: That's pretty good. Yeah, bush shirt hasn't so much bush kezy?
- 15:19Speaker 2: Well, no, that was my hod swanie. Of course it hasn't.
- 15:22Speaker 3: You wouldn't want to get any of that slime on
- 15:24Speaker 3: your hands. Ache easy, This is my favorite. I don't
- 15:31Speaker 3: know if I can say.
- 15:32Speaker 7: This, looking at it, looking at it, man, that's a
- 15:35Speaker 7: good one, looking a bit green around the gills, the
- 15:37Speaker 7: aches from Ollie.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I'll leave this to the rest of this or the
- 15:41Speaker 3: public's imagination. What's with the rag soft?
- 15:46Speaker 2: I think you can say it? No I can't.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I'll repeat it though, what's with the rags soft? And
- 15:56Speaker 3: you can take three four three if you know what
- 16:00Speaker 3: the rest of that sentence is.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Can I also just clarify one thing. Our social guy,
- 16:06Speaker 7: the pants Man, Joel Harrison, he stitches one of us
- 16:09Speaker 7: up or why it's mainly me and Jays because he's
- 16:10Speaker 7: scared of Mike. He stitches one of us two up
- 16:13Speaker 7: every week in some way or rather, so he's put
- 16:16Speaker 7: that up. He said it's Keesy's new tender profile pick
- 16:19Speaker 7: even though I'm married, insinuating that I'm.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Having affairs, which is pretty funny.
- 16:23Speaker 7: He also put the location as Goat Island Marine Reserve,
- 16:27Speaker 7: which is a marine reserve. It's a very important one
- 16:29Speaker 7: up north that people are very passionate about. And of
- 16:31Speaker 7: course people started commenting like, you can't fish there, blah
- 16:34Speaker 7: blah blah. We're getting angry that I had gone to
- 16:37Speaker 7: a marine reserve and caught this giant beloved snapper.
- 16:40Speaker 5: It was cool. I mean I felt uncomfortable with it.
- 16:44Speaker 7: You did, right, Yeah, that's why you were catching all
- 16:46Speaker 7: those underage ones. It was another big stitch up from
- 16:51Speaker 7: the pants man there. Joel Harrison is thank you very much.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, actually, keyes he just on that. I think you
- 16:55Speaker 3: and I need to watch out for pants man. I
- 16:57Speaker 3: don't think we need to start clapping back. What do
- 16:59Speaker 3: you reckon shrigging him in here and chatto because.
- 17:01Speaker 5: He you know, he's anything to do with snozzers. He's
- 17:04Speaker 5: just all over it.
- 17:05Speaker 7: It's right and just yeah, especially when you use my
- 17:09Speaker 7: proposal photos the other day without that was just.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Remember already lost all that material we filmed that.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Let's get him in here and talk to you about that.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Let's do that.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Here's a powder finger the.

- 19:31Speaker 4: Now.
- 19:32Speaker 2: It's just wondering, what's the story, Mail, what's the plan?
- 19:34Speaker 2: What are we doing for your what? How old are you?
- 19:36Speaker 2: How old are you tuning on Saturday?
- 19:37Speaker 5: Forty three?
- 19:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:38Speaker 2: How old are you for forty five?
- 19:39Speaker 4: Day?
- 19:40Speaker 5: Forty four?
- 19:42Speaker 4: Where does it go?
- 19:43Speaker 5: Where does it go?
- 19:43Speaker 2: I don't know? Wow, that's incredible forty four? What are
- 19:46Speaker 2: we doing for your birthday?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Man?
- 19:47Speaker 2: I've kept it open? Is it?
- 19:49Speaker 3: Plus one Saturday night going out to dinner three as
- 19:52Speaker 3: a bird by the way, my wife and two girls

- 20:02Speaker 3: where we go after there after the dinner, beautiful Korean
- 20:06Speaker 3: place by.
- 20:06Speaker 7: The racism alarm just play.
- 20:14Speaker 5: That and then and then we're going to a party.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Ohay, now we're talking of a dear friend of ours
- 20:25Speaker 3: which we were invited to. My wife was like, well,
- 20:27Speaker 3: we're going out to dinner for your birthday, should we
- 20:29Speaker 3: just do this party as well?
- 20:30Speaker 5: And I was like, normally my instinct would.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Be, of course, don't be stupid, But then I went, no,
- 20:36Speaker 3: yes we will, No, yes, we will go to the party.
- 20:39Speaker 3: I haven't been to a party for ages neither, so
- 20:42Speaker 3: are we doing that?
- 20:43Speaker 2: I'm hanging out for a party like a party.
- 20:46Speaker 3: So and sometime during Saturday I have to get a
- 20:49Speaker 3: bit of a fishing. Then Sunday you and I are
- 20:52Speaker 3: playing golf keezy ah, and I've got a gig on
- 20:57Speaker 3: Sunday night, right, So that's a pretty chuck a weekend.
- 21:00Speaker 4: So there's a big gap in the day, there, isn't
- 21:02Speaker 4: there the sturdy on your birthday?
- 21:04Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:05Speaker 4: During the day, yeah, no, I'll be a fish in
- 21:07Speaker 4: the morning. I'd be fishing all day.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I'll tell you what you could do.
- 21:10Speaker 3: You guys could come out and meet me on the
- 21:12Speaker 3: pier and bring like a little birthday cake and some coffees,
- 21:15Speaker 3: and we're gonna have a little bit of time by the.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Want of you would host us.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Yeah, because it's your birthday.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I will I Well, I just got a lot going
- 21:24Speaker 3: on at my house at the moment with a sort
- 21:26Speaker 3: of renovations.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Instead, you're still funding time to go fishing, go out
- 21:30Speaker 4: for dinner, go to a party, go to golf Saturday.
- 21:34Speaker 3: I'm doing all those things because there's all that mess
- 21:37Speaker 3: in my house at the.
- 21:37Speaker 5: Moment, so I'm heating it out of the house. Yeah.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're so busy.
- 21:41Speaker 7: You have the duck, you know, coming over the duck
- 21:44Speaker 7: doing poos all the lounge.
- 21:46Speaker 5: But what I will do.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Is maybe organize a batch weekend so we can celebrate
- 21:51Speaker 3: Haughty Jay's birthday.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I mean we're already planning on doing that. Anyway.
- 21:55Speaker 7: It sounds like, yeah, telling two birds, just a question,
- 21:58Speaker 7: did you give it any thought? You know, you're obviously
- 22:01Speaker 7: a birthday two days away at any point, did you
- 22:03Speaker 7: think you know what I should do something with the Fellers.
- 22:06Speaker 4: No, I've got a birthday coming up to you, man,
- 22:10Speaker 4: that wouldn't ocur to me either. To be honest with you,
- 22:12Speaker 4: Maybe we could have a joint birthday you are me
- 22:14Speaker 4: because mine's in the middle of October. Yeah, why don't
- 22:16Speaker 4: we get together and don't invite any of them to
- 22:21Speaker 4: the whole party, either of ours?
- 22:23Speaker 5: Can I? Yeah, that sounds great. Can I just say
- 22:25Speaker 5: that Pugs is coming over right?
- 22:29Speaker 9: Oh?
- 22:29Speaker 2: That'll be fun? Happy birthday man.
- 22:32Speaker 3: The Hiking Big Show podcast Jimmy Hendrix there on the
- 22:35Speaker 3: radio Hodankey Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The time is
- 22:39Speaker 3: five twenty six and all as well. Just on the
- 22:42Speaker 3: cricket Ted's pissing down at the moment, so they've gone off.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, a bit of a rangelaer in Sri Lanka. Fellers,
- 22:48Speaker 7: do you even more gardening this weekend? I was keeping
- 22:51Speaker 7: my Saturday open, obviously to go to Jace's birthday party.
- 22:53Speaker 4: But I guess that's not happening.
- 22:55Speaker 7: And I promised my wife we would do so, promise
- 23:01Speaker 7: we would do some gardening.
- 23:03Speaker 4: We're still promise here, you say, I promise, all right?
- 23:06Speaker 4: We'll do some gardening. I say, God, yes, I promise,
- 23:09Speaker 4: we'll do some gardening. Promise, And she says, no, promise me.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Yes.
- 23:12Speaker 7: Well, we're going to finish off our edging that we're doing.
- 23:17Speaker 7: And the issue I'm having is because it's springing, to
- 23:20Speaker 7: be honest, through winter, and that every time you go
- 23:22Speaker 7: to do work, you clear out all the weeds, and
- 23:24Speaker 7: then by the time it comes around to finishing things off,
- 23:27Speaker 7: more weeds are growing.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It's a pain in the ass.
- 23:29Speaker 7: And to make things worse, I don't know, I must
- 23:31Speaker 7: have like sensitive skin or something, because because whenever I
- 23:36Speaker 7: pull out weeds and like you know, I'm handling them
- 23:39Speaker 7: in big bunches and throwing them into the wheelbarer, I
- 23:42Speaker 7: get like red spots.
- 23:43Speaker 2: All up my arms on my shore arms.
- 23:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 7: I was just wondering because should I be wearing gloves
- 23:48Speaker 7: for that stuff? Because I always used to, you know,
- 23:50Speaker 7: when I was happing on my nad of the garden,
- 23:51Speaker 7: it was always just hands, you know.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Well, I think if you need to use a rag
- 23:54Speaker 3: to hold up a fish, you should probably wear gloves.
- 23:57Speaker 5: If you're gardening.
- 24:00Speaker 2: As well, that's a good point.
- 24:01Speaker 5: And maybe tape up the end of the sleeve.
- 24:06Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, so nothing, But I don't want people to
- 24:08Speaker 7: think that i'm you know, soft, well you know what
- 24:13Speaker 7: I mean, Fellers, Well, you'll be in the you'll be
- 24:15Speaker 7: in your backyard.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Your messrs already knows you mean you're not going.
- 24:18Speaker 3: To be Yeah, totally, it's all good. She married you man. Yeah,
- 24:22Speaker 3: I mean it's not so.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, yeah, it's a good shout.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Actually it's interesting because I do my gardening too. To you,
- 24:31Speaker 5: I love green thumb. Aja, I'm such a green thumb.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Because you did somehween for about seven minutes the other
- 24:38Speaker 4: day while the builder was zero, I.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Would say, a good seven or eight minutes, some serious howeing.
- 24:45Speaker 3: And then obviously after I'd been hoeing, I dug up
- 24:50Speaker 3: a few bulbs, which are your problems, not not flower bulbs,
- 24:53Speaker 3: but like weed bowl.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I've got bulbs as well. They are paying in
- 24:56Speaker 2: the art.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And I was pulling out a bulb and then did
- 25:00Speaker 3: she was like, um, what was it? A scorpion just
- 25:08Speaker 3: stung stung me on my arm.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Ship it hit really scorpion.
- 25:12Speaker 3: I'll be honest, it's probably been ten years since I've
- 25:15Speaker 3: been hit by a Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Yeah, they'll get you they get your man just when
- 25:19Speaker 5: you're not. It's suspending. And I sucked and sacked and got.
- 25:22Speaker 4: The people are going to fall into the trip and
- 25:25Speaker 4: they'll be sucking on it. Yes, and it's all well
- 25:27Speaker 4: and good having it in your mouth, but that's not enough.
- 25:29Speaker 4: You've got to suck it hard, mate.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I sucked it so hard it was dry afterwards.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And then you sped out the poison.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, obviously, Well that's good.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Okay, So all right, okay, that's good.
- 25:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, and you do have to be careful as well,
- 25:47Speaker 4: because I'm obviously you guys are out west, Yeah, exactly,
- 25:52Speaker 4: So it's a little bit different because I'm a bit
- 25:54Speaker 4: closer in the city. But we've got a bunch of
- 25:57Speaker 4: palm trees on our backyard. Oh Lovely is actually loving, Jason.
- 26:01Speaker 4: I've been out there clearing because we're going a few
- 26:03Speaker 4: weeds in between the tiles and all that sort of stuff.
- 26:05Speaker 4: So I've been weeding the garden and that. But because
- 26:08Speaker 4: we haven't been in the house along, I don't really
- 26:10Speaker 4: understand the biodiversity that we've sort of got out there.
- 26:15Speaker 4: So I'm getting to know the flora and the fauna
- 26:19Speaker 4: and the other day I went out there, and man,
- 26:20Speaker 4: I was. I just thought i'd sort of because I'd
- 26:22Speaker 4: been bent over for sort of a couple of hours there. Yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 4: bent over there and you know you're just going for it,
- 26:29Speaker 4: and and next thing, I've just passed out. Wow, just
- 26:35Speaker 4: completely backed out. And my wife came out and all
- 26:38Speaker 4: she saw was my goloshes hanging out the mouth of
- 26:41Speaker 4: an anaconda. Ah, those bastards, and just her sunglasses just
- 26:47Speaker 4: lying on the ground.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Far out. It's crazy, Mogi, it was.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:54Speaker 7: So she that was in New Zealand and just up
- 26:57Speaker 7: here in Ponsonby, Hiarchy Big.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 27:02Speaker 7: Tune in on radio.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Radio, Hodaki.

- 27:11Speaker 2: Let's find out what this great New Zealander would Joe.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I'll tell you what fellas after today's fishing. The old
- 27:18Speaker 3: helly fishing really appeals. Going after the great barrier there,
- 27:21Speaker 3: that'll be fantastic. But let's go and decide what the
- 27:25Speaker 3: listeners want. Get a Ryan your mad Bassett House life.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Right, Good on you. Ryan. What do you do for
- 27:34Speaker 5: a crust mate?
- 27:36Speaker 9: I'm a civil engineer.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Oh tell me Ryan, what's your preference there made a
- 27:45Speaker 3: bit of helly fishing or a bit of helly golf.
- 27:48Speaker 9: It's a tough one. Actually. I was talking to my
- 27:51Speaker 9: wife about this last night actually, and you get it,
- 27:56Speaker 9: and she said I should be going for the golf,
- 28:00Speaker 9: but I'm actually going to go for the helly fishing
- 28:03Speaker 9: this time because I've never done it before. So I'll
- 28:06Speaker 9: go with that.
- 28:08Speaker 5: I'll tell you what we're going to do.
- 28:10Speaker 3: I'm going to far off the past to patsad and
- 28:12Speaker 3: studio be and he'll sort you out.
- 28:14Speaker 5: All right, Good luck, good luck, Ryan, thank you, thanks mate.
- 28:19Speaker 4: But there one man what is talking to his wife about?
- 28:21Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 28:22Speaker 4: Jesus wow?
- 28:24Speaker 5: Tom from Wanica, how are you going? Your mad Bastardi
- 28:29Speaker 5: are going? Yeah?
- 28:30Speaker 4: Good?
- 28:30Speaker 5: Thanks Tom? What are you doing Monica there?
- 28:33Speaker 6: I'm a real.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, all right Tom?
- 28:40Speaker 5: What are you running with? Helly fishing or hollie golf?
- 28:43Speaker 1: I don't think they'd appreciate me shanking around a links course,
- 28:46Speaker 1: so I'll go helly fishing with boys.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Good choice there, I'll chuck you over to Pat sand
- 28:52Speaker 3: and Studio being. Finally, Glenn from How's Life?

- 29:06Speaker 6: I'm a backbone kitchen and Solomon.
- 29:13Speaker 5: All right, Glenn, better fishing or a bit of golf.

- 29:31Speaker 2: you just head it into the water.
- 29:32Speaker 7: There and try to get it on the little platform.

- 29:54Speaker 5: Please? Keezy hit me, hit me, Keysy hit.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Me, don't tempt me.
- 30:00Speaker 7: Would you rather sneeze non stop for fifteen minutes, once
- 30:04Speaker 7: per day, or sneeze once every three minutes.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Every day fifteen minutes so you just get it all
- 30:12Speaker 2: out the way.
- 30:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Funnily enough, I had a massive sneezing fit in a
- 30:18Speaker 3: last Saturday funny for sixteen minutes. I don't know why
- 30:22Speaker 3: it happened, but I just went I sneezed for about
- 30:24Speaker 3: ten minutes straight.
- 30:25Speaker 5: I'd go d again at fifteen.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's going to say, do you guys get because
- 30:30Speaker 3: they say, I don't know if you've ever heard this
- 30:32Speaker 3: fact before, And it's an interesting fact that the amount
- 30:34Speaker 3: of times you sneeze is the amount of orgasms you've
- 30:37Speaker 3: had in your life.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Have you heard that?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Nope, that's a yarn. There is such a yarn.
- 30:43Speaker 9: I heard.
- 30:43Speaker 2: A sneeze is one eighth of an orgasm, is what
- 30:45Speaker 2: I heard.
- 30:45Speaker 3: I'm not saying it is an orgasm. I'm saying that
- 30:48Speaker 3: every sneeze you do in your life, you have an
- 30:51Speaker 3: equivalent orgasm. The same number of orgasms and sneezes.
- 30:56Speaker 4: I think they've scientifically proved that.
- 30:57Speaker 7: Yeah, so you're saying that I should, instead of taking
- 31:00Speaker 7: antihistamines when my hay fever gets bad, just let it run,
- 31:03Speaker 7: Just let it run, and just bag it up.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Knowing that I've got a pretty crazy few years ahead
- 31:08Speaker 2: of me.
- 31:09Speaker 8: Is that what your suggesting to go out yourself left
- 31:11Speaker 8: front and center exactly. Yeah, Hey, forty five for one
- 31:17Speaker 8: in the cricket. By the way, they're back on in
- 31:19Speaker 8: the meantime, he's Black Sabbath.
- 31:24Speaker 2: The Huriarchy Big Show podcast.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Yes indeed o ways here on the Radio Hodankey Big
- 31:29Speaker 3: Show this Thursday afternoon. The time is five point fifty
- 31:33Speaker 3: three in Sri Lanka sixty for one and going on
- 31:37Speaker 3: the attack now listen. If you're thinking about bending the
- 31:41Speaker 3: need to that very special person in your life, you
- 31:44Speaker 3: need to listen to the Big Show and you need
- 31:47Speaker 3: to get in contact and lock up the old diamonds
- 31:50Speaker 3: on Richmond day Fellers.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah, Jason Man.
- 31:54Speaker 7: They've got a great competition going on with the Radio
- 31:56Speaker 7: Hodaki right now in the Hidaky Big Show.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yes wow, which is the drive over there at Hodaki.
- 32:01Speaker 7: Oh basically we have been given a ten thousand dollars
- 32:05Speaker 7: diamond engagement ring to give away to one lucky backbone.
- 32:08Speaker 7: And then when it also gets the assistance of us,
- 32:11Speaker 7: we four to help with the proposal in any manner
- 32:14Speaker 7: that you might require. Absolutely if you're keen to into
- 32:17Speaker 7: that huduky dot co dot ins. It also sent it
- 32:19Speaker 7: to some of your mates, you know, if they're taking
- 32:21Speaker 7: bloody ages, put the pressure on. That was really fun
- 32:24Speaker 7: before I got engaged, all my mates giving me a
- 32:26Speaker 7: lot of grief and come on ye here and like
- 32:29Speaker 7: all of her cousins and stuff, and like all of
- 32:31Speaker 7: her family and my family too.
- 32:33Speaker 3: But I mean, having said that, she could have proposed percent,
- 32:36Speaker 3: you know exactly what was shopping here?
- 32:37Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, yeah, one hundred percent. What was stopping her?
- 32:41Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 32:42Speaker 10: Actually, ill ask why nowadays it should be fifty to
- 32:46Speaker 10: fifty absolutely with the proposing. Well, I've got a theory
- 32:49Speaker 10: that you know, if you're splashing out an engagement ring,
- 32:52Speaker 10: the person who splashes out on it should also be
- 32:54Speaker 10: splashed out upon by the other person.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Oh.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Sorry, You're going to have to reword that.
- 32:59Speaker 2: If I'm going to splash her, then she should be
- 33:01Speaker 2: splashing me. I should get a um okay, but if
- 33:05Speaker 2: you're keen holdak.
- 33:06Speaker 7: You dot co dots, get in the drawer there and
- 33:08Speaker 7: tell us how you're planning on proposing.
- 33:10Speaker 2: All right. A few examples have been sent through fellas show.
- 33:12Speaker 2: I read some of them.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Yes, I love it when you do this.
- 33:15Speaker 5: This is cool.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I love love.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Man, are he's going to be anonymous again?
- 33:20Speaker 9: Are they?
- 33:22Speaker 3: Ah?
- 33:22Speaker 7: Yeah, this one is good. There, this is from anonymous.
- 33:28Speaker 7: I'm entering if I'm allowed for my son at this
- 33:31Speaker 7: stage here has no idea.
- 33:34Speaker 4: Oh this is good. Straight away, I'm thinking to myself,
- 33:36Speaker 4: sexless Lee. Can you see on the alarm preemptively here CAZy?
- 33:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's a sex is an alarm, very similar
- 33:43Speaker 4: to the racism this is on behalf of This is
- 33:46Speaker 4: a woman mother doing this. This is not the sort
- 33:48Speaker 4: of thing a father would do, right, you know?
- 33:51Speaker 5: And is she going to propose to it?
- 33:54Speaker 4: She's going to stick her bacon? What do you got
- 33:56Speaker 4: the keys for us? This sounds like I really want
- 33:59Speaker 4: this if first goes away that I hope it's going
- 34:01Speaker 4: to go. I want this person to be the winner.
- 34:03Speaker 2: That would be funny. Actually, what about this one? Fellas?
- 34:07Speaker 4: Wait a minute, now, you finish that one off? That
- 34:09Speaker 4: was it? It was good.
- 34:11Speaker 7: He has no idea right and entering on behalf of
- 34:14Speaker 7: him and his lovely partner, my girlfriend. This is from
- 34:19Speaker 7: anonymous by the way, no relation. My girlfriend told me
- 34:23Speaker 7: she used to walk at Cornwell Park all the time
- 34:25Speaker 7: as a child. There's a secluded bench on top of
- 34:27Speaker 7: a hill with a lone tree. I know the place
- 34:30Speaker 7: where we carved our initials into it?
- 34:34Speaker 4: Did I scratch those out?
- 34:35Speaker 2: Did you get rid of those?
- 34:36Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:39Speaker 5: Didn't the tree die?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Did yeah, it was mogie as well as an I saw.
- 34:46Speaker 7: I'll carry on anyway. I'd like to propose at sunrise.
- 34:49Speaker 7: I'll have her go ahead and be pretending to be
- 34:51Speaker 7: carrying things and then propose at the bench.
- 34:53Speaker 2: That beach still there.
- 34:55Speaker 5: The bench was still there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I carved
- 34:58Speaker 5: in the bench.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Actually, what are you carving there?
- 35:00Speaker 5: You'd have to go and have it check it out.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Keep off.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeahdijsd was here. There's a lot of poos on the
- 35:06Speaker 2: bench last time, we actually a lot of bird poos.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Get a fella's anonymous here. I hope you're well, very well,
- 35:12Speaker 2: thank you.
- 35:13Speaker 7: Maybe you're kind might do it at the Dunedin Craft
- 35:15Speaker 7: Beer Festival because that's where we met.
- 35:18Speaker 4: That's hot, that's romantic, that's hot.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Get real steam first response and sort of.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Mumble it's been a busy day.
- 35:29Speaker 5: I love you so much.
- 35:31Speaker 4: Boom.
- 35:31Speaker 2: That's how you do it right there.
- 35:33Speaker 7: Of course, if you are thinking of maybe dropping the knee,
- 35:36Speaker 7: make sure you head up diamonds on. If you're planning
- 35:39Speaker 7: on dropping your ears, what's written?
- 35:41Speaker 2: All right to do that knee. But if you want
- 35:43Speaker 2: to do it and you want to stress free, easy way.
- 35:45Speaker 7: To do it, head to Diamonds on Richmond dot co
- 35:48Speaker 7: dot m Z and if you do it before October
- 35:51Speaker 7: twenty fifth and say the secret phrase mail, they will

- 36:49Speaker 7: about the same size the ones you were catching today.
- 36:51Speaker 4: You're allowed to keep them there?
- 36:53Speaker 3: Yeah, keep those Yeah, I can, and I can eat
- 36:55Speaker 3: them before I get home and my wife in high
- 36:58Speaker 3: till my wife doesn't know about it.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying, is keeping something from your wife
- 37:02Speaker 2: or your partner?
- 37:03Speaker 5: Is that lying?
- 37:04Speaker 4: It's you. You're keeping it from them.
- 37:06Speaker 2: No, but you're hiding the truth you know them?
- 37:09Speaker 5: No, Keezy, Can I just make this clear. I bought
- 37:13Speaker 5: the chocolate fish for me. I'm not hiding anything.
- 37:16Speaker 4: I don't have to report to her.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I worked bloody hard to earn money to buy chocolate fish.
- 37:22Speaker 3: I don't have to feel guilty about no enduring the purchase.
- 37:25Speaker 2: That I've just one percent.
- 37:27Speaker 7: And I respect how hard you work because I see
- 37:31Speaker 7: you in action and I'm like, wow, wow, hands to
- 37:34Speaker 7: the bone stuff. I just you see that you kept
- 37:36Speaker 7: it from your wife because and I quote, you're scared
- 37:38Speaker 7: of her. Yeah, I'm terrified of my last paraphrasing.
- 37:43Speaker 5: So now listen to the podcast outro today.
- 37:46Speaker 9: What is that?
- 37:46Speaker 5: By the way, that's that's a podcast we do outside
- 37:50Speaker 5: of the radio show.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Basically, it's a warm up, it's a war bonus content
- 37:53Speaker 3: before the radio show.
- 37:55Speaker 7: What do you think, mogim Look, I think people know
- 37:59Speaker 7: about it.
- 38:01Speaker 4: I think it's probably one of the best podcasts going around.
- 38:04Speaker 4: If I had any complaint, the complaints that I get
- 38:06Speaker 4: on the ground, like when I'm on the street, when
- 38:08Speaker 4: I'm beating the feet around Auckland, around this great country.
- 38:12Speaker 4: As a feedback I get is that it's not long enough. Yes,
- 38:15Speaker 4: it's not long enough. Needs to be longer. Really, Oh yeah.
- 38:18Speaker 4: People can't get enough of it. And the reason why
- 38:20Speaker 4: they can't get enough of it is because the clips
- 38:22Speaker 4: like this from today's podcast.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Mike, that is so good. This one's called ear ring.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I don't know what was going on for me to,
- 38:31Speaker 3: you know, at that time of my life to think
- 38:33Speaker 3: that having a feather earring was cool.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I think you should bring it back. Was it a
- 38:36Speaker 2: duck feather?
- 38:37Speaker 3: I think it might have been when I was going
- 38:39Speaker 3: through my green Peace era. Oh yeah, which kind of
- 38:42Speaker 3: makes sense.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Can you imagine Hoidy J knocking on your door, yes,
- 38:47Speaker 3: with a feather earring and punishing all and going, you know,
- 38:52Speaker 3: as old hoodie J as we're working for green A
- 38:56Speaker 3: busy day, you got any busies.
- 39:00Speaker 5: It's not entirely inaccurate that portrayal.
- 39:02Speaker 2: There By the way, A fear the earring. How does
- 39:04Speaker 2: it make you feel now?
- 39:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't.
- 39:07Speaker 3: As I said of the podcast, I don't know what
- 39:09Speaker 3: I was thinking at that time to think that that
- 39:12Speaker 3: was cool.
- 39:13Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Do you think it'll ever be cool?
- 39:15Speaker 4: Were you single at the time?
- 39:17Speaker 5: I've never been single, I have. Here's an interesting fact.
- 39:21Speaker 3: I haven't been single since the Seventh Fold, Right, the
- 39:25Speaker 3: longest I've been single it is two weeks.
- 39:29Speaker 7: But if that were true, because you've had multiple partners,
- 39:33Speaker 7: you must have overlapped them or something.
- 39:35Speaker 2: How that works?
- 39:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
- 39:38Speaker 2: All the day.
- 39:40Speaker 4: You break up in the morning, you got a new
- 39:41Speaker 4: one in the afternoon.
- 39:44Speaker 5: I don't know. It was crazy.
- 39:46Speaker 2: You need a lot of time to sort of wear
- 39:47Speaker 2: them down and trick them.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, it's a tricking Yeah.
- 39:51Speaker 2: So it's like, why you were tricking one?
- 39:53Speaker 4: Well, you said the longest flake was two weeks, Yes,
- 39:55Speaker 4: so I guess there's a couple of them there that
- 39:57Speaker 4: were like.
- 39:58Speaker 5: But in that two weeks, probably may love eighteen twenty times.
- 40:06Speaker 7: Hey, by the way, if you want to listen to
- 40:07Speaker 7: the podcast outro, I don't see how that's It's just

- 41:25Speaker 2: Okay, shove it in on every time you have roast.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Veges.
- 41:28Speaker 2: What about with a roast? You have a roast lamb
- 41:32Speaker 2: and some yummy virgies.
- 41:33Speaker 5: And gravy and lamb. I'm not a big fan of
- 41:37Speaker 5: lamb either.

- 42:17Speaker 7: spuds with a potato emoji, and mustard sauce.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Delicious. That's what that is?
- 42:23Speaker 3: So old school. That is my kind of young fellow,
- 42:28Speaker 3: upbringing kind of food.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Can I ask you who eats cabbage?
- 42:32Speaker 5: I don't.
- 42:33Speaker 3: My wife likes cabbage, but she's a big fan of
- 42:39Speaker 3: it raw as opposed to cooked.
- 42:43Speaker 9: Is she?
- 42:44Speaker 2: Yeah? Man, that's great, that's good. She'd like corea then.
- 42:48Speaker 5: Yes, because she likes a cold slow obviously.
- 42:52Speaker 7: Oh yeah, kimchi. That's cabbage. Yes, Fermented cabbage is delicious. Hey,

- 43:19Speaker 2: I eat the hell out of that. Would you eat that?
- 43:21Speaker 3: And a bit of white bread, you know, but like
- 43:23Speaker 3: a square piece, not with the round end on it.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Some sauce and mustard and some fried onions, share and
- 43:28Speaker 3: some cabbage.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Why white bread and some roast?
- 43:31Speaker 5: I mean, can you have a saucy and bread with
- 43:34Speaker 5: anything other than white bread?
- 43:35Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 43:38Speaker 7: It's just going to play the racism alarm there, I fella,
- 43:40Speaker 7: that was the right time to play that. Plenty more
- 43:42Speaker 7: tics coming through those fellas, which is really good news. Hey,

- 44:15Speaker 7: go home and eat baked beans out of a turn.

- 44:43Speaker 3: Slim there on the radio, Hold Aki Big Show this
- 44:46Speaker 3: Thursday evening.
- 44:47Speaker 5: Let's talk TV. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 5: that's pretty good.
- 45:07Speaker 4: That was really good. Last night I started watching a
- 45:10Speaker 4: documentary on Netflix. It's called McMahon McMahon Vince McMahon drama
- 45:18Speaker 4: from WWE and also WWF who was the chairman, owner
- 45:25Speaker 4: starter of the organization the Pro Wrestling Jason. Yes, and
- 45:31Speaker 4: it's going to be a bloody rapper because what they
- 45:32Speaker 4: were doing was they were making a documentary on him,
- 45:36Speaker 4: and they also were interviewing one hundred other people about
- 45:40Speaker 4: him as well. Pretty amazing thing. He took it from
- 45:42Speaker 4: a dirt bag wrestling joint that he inherited from his
- 45:45Speaker 4: father in the seventies and took it on to sell
- 45:48Speaker 4: it for about nine billion dollars to the UFC something
- 45:51Speaker 4: like that something I'm saying, or they tried to. And
- 45:54Speaker 4: so they'd all agreed that they were going to make
- 45:56Speaker 4: this documentary. So they all have signed waivers and yes,
- 45:59Speaker 4: we agree to have everything that we've been interviewed about
- 46:02Speaker 4: as part of this documentary bus and blah blah blah.
- 46:05Speaker 4: Then in the middle of the of the shooting of
- 46:08Speaker 4: this documentary and all of these interviews, it comes out
- 46:11Speaker 4: that he has paid twelve million dollars in hush money
- 46:15Speaker 4: to four women because of these affairs that he's been
- 46:18Speaker 4: having within the organization with employees. And like the details
- 46:22Speaker 4: came out earlier this year with one of them absolutely
- 46:25Speaker 4: out the gate, like p did e Coli level absolutely horrendous,
- 46:32Speaker 4: my god stuff going on. But because they'd already signed
- 46:35Speaker 4: their waivers same year we're making a documentary, these guys
- 46:39Speaker 4: are just like, well, this is a far more interesting story,
- 46:41Speaker 4: so we're just going to make this so they get
- 46:42Speaker 4: to use all the interviews that they had with all
- 46:43Speaker 4: these people and now all of the other stuff. So
- 46:46Speaker 4: I think it's about a four parter. Started last night.
- 46:48Speaker 4: It was going to be a goddamn gym. And I think,
- 46:50Speaker 4: even if you're interesting or not, it's still a fascinating world.
- 46:54Speaker 4: And I think, and I'm not a fan I was
- 46:55Speaker 4: when I was a kid, Yes, but I think it's
- 46:57Speaker 4: a fascinating world and fascinating types of people. I think
- 46:59Speaker 4: it'll be a bloody ripper.
- 47:00Speaker 5: Yeah, that's good to know.
- 47:01Speaker 7: It's served a whole lot of stuff recently about this
- 47:04Speaker 7: about him wanting to get a new PR firm to
- 47:05Speaker 7: try and control the situation.
- 47:07Speaker 2: And yeah, so it sounds controllable. Yeah, great to watch that.
- 47:11Speaker 3: I stumbled up upon a great little series and actually
- 47:16Speaker 3: not last night, the night before, and I forgot about
- 47:17Speaker 3: it yesterday called The Patient with Steve Carroll and Dominall Gleason,
- 47:24Speaker 3: Oh wow, son of Brendan Gleeson. And the basic premise
- 47:27Speaker 3: of the story is that Steve Carroll character as a
- 47:30Speaker 3: therapist and a very renowned one. The Dominal Gleason character
- 47:35Speaker 3: is a serial killer who goes to see said therapist.
- 47:39Speaker 3: And it's just say, things develop really short half hour episodes,
- 47:45Speaker 3: bloody great, really good. And it's one of those shows
- 47:49Speaker 3: that at the end of every episode you go, oh.
- 47:52Speaker 2: My god, yes, oh god.
- 47:54Speaker 3: And it genuinely sort of knocks you back right, really enjoyable.
- 48:00Speaker 5: I'm a big fan of Steve Carrol.
- 48:01Speaker 6: Ax.
- 48:01Speaker 5: Where is that that's on Disney?
- 48:04Speaker 2: I think it's Disney Steve Carell.
- 48:06Speaker 5: Steve Carrell. Yeah, I like him and I like the
- 48:08Speaker 5: other guy too, don.
- 48:11Speaker 9: So. Yeah.
- 48:12Speaker 3: It's intriguing and fascinating stuff. Even though it's serial killer
- 48:16Speaker 3: slash therapist that it sounds a bit cliche certainly takes
- 48:19Speaker 3: you by a surprise.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Keezy, that's so good Fellas.
- 48:22Speaker 7: Last night I didn't watch anything because I had a
- 48:23Speaker 7: late game of indoor Netpaul Wow Yeah for my wife's
- 48:26Speaker 7: team Maha, So I couldn't watch anything Fellas, but I
- 48:30Speaker 7: certainly left it all out there on the court.
- 48:32Speaker 2: That's what's most important.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Get on your backbone.
- 48:35Speaker 2: The Darkey Big.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 48:39Speaker 3: And Kesey Twins of the Stone Age there on the radio.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Hold Yankee Big Show.
- 48:43Speaker 5: Now listen.
- 48:45Speaker 3: If you're thinking about the Christmas holidays already in the
- 48:47Speaker 3: sort of summer period, maybe your January.
- 48:49Speaker 5: What am I going to do in January? And boy,
- 48:52Speaker 5: have we got the thing for you.
- 48:53Speaker 3: If you're in christ Church on the twentieth of January
- 48:55Speaker 3: the Black Clash fowls.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Yeah, of course the twentieth of jan will have it
- 49:00Speaker 2: would have been two days prior.
- 49:01Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's yeah.
- 49:03Speaker 4: My twentieth. MANU be sitting there thinking, man, how good
- 49:06Speaker 4: was the black Puss? What about Chris Gail? The former
- 49:09Speaker 4: was seeing West Indian Great he came over here and
- 49:11Speaker 4: he smashed it morning off the field? What an absolute back.
- 49:15Speaker 5: Yeah, this is why I should never do.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Edmund. You keep trying.
- 49:21Speaker 2: He's not trying. He hasn't looked at the it.
- 49:24Speaker 4: He gets a vibe, he knows it's in January and
- 49:26Speaker 4: is not wrong.
- 49:26Speaker 7: To be fair, though, Jason, a lot of people at
- 49:28Speaker 7: this time in the year, they go, oh, man, what
- 49:30Speaker 7: am I doing on Monday the twentieth of January?
- 49:33Speaker 5: Monday the twentieth is oh right, yeah, yeah, I got yeah,
- 49:37Speaker 5: I gotcha.
- 49:38Speaker 4: But can I just say, Keysy, the reason why we're
- 49:40Speaker 4: pointing this out now because probably people are thinking it's September,
- 49:42Speaker 4: why am I listening to this now? And the reason
- 49:45Speaker 4: his tickets are going to go on sale and you're
- 49:47Speaker 4: going to miss out if you don't get onto it immediately.
- 49:49Speaker 4: Because everyone who has been to this goes again and
- 49:51Speaker 4: anybody that hasn't been needs to go because it's a
- 49:54Speaker 4: hell of an event.
- 49:54Speaker 7: It sells out every year as well. It is a
- 49:57Speaker 7: massive party down there in christ Church. Hagleyoval said it
