  heaven. We thank you God for another

  opportunity to come and to worship you in spirit and truth.

  God, I pray that you'll continue to fan the flame God blow upon
• 0:17
  this house. God.
• 0:19
  I pray that we will be those that are in the refiners fire,
• 0:23
  God, pull out all the dross, pull out all the impurities,
• 0:26
  carve out the cancer and heal us today.
• 0:29
  God. I pray that you'll help us Lord,
• 0:31
  to be those who are called by your name that will be in the
• 0:35
  water God, but not allow the water to be in the boat, Father.
• 0:39
  I pray that we'll be in the world but not of the world,
• 0:42
  Father. I pray that we'll be the
• 0:44
  difference makers today. Let somebody get saved today.
• 0:48
  Lord, we surrender all to you, every single bit of our wants
• 0:53
  and needs and desires. God, we are content with food
• 0:56
  and clothing. Lord.
• 0:57
  Help us Lord to put our face towards you, to seek you with
• 1:02
  all of our heart, with all of our mind, with all of our
• 1:05
  strength. We love you Father.
• 1:06
  Help us to love our neighbors as our self glory.
• 1:09
  We thank you for the daily bread.
• 1:12
  We thank you God for the blessings of forgiveness, Lord,
• 1:17
  and grace and your mercy towards us.
• 1:19
  Lord, that it is new every single day.
• 1:21
  God help us, Lord, to resist the enemy.
• 1:26
  God help us to put on the full armor.
• 1:28
  Help us not to be overtaken, Lord, by the culture and by the
• 1:32
  world and the systems of the world, but help us, Lord, to
• 1:35
  know what to do and when to do it and how to do it.
• 1:38
  And we are here for you, King Jesus.
• 1:40
  Hide me and hide my words and hide my thoughts.
• 1:44
  I decrease as you increase. And it's all about you, King
• 1:47
  Jesus, And it's in your holy and precious name that I pray.

  Amen. Well, let's start in verse one
• 1:57
  unto the Angel of the Church of Ephesus, Right these things says
• 2:01
  he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the
• 2:05
  midst of the 7 golden candlesticks.
• 2:08
  So we learned in the last chapter that the candlesticks
• 2:11
  are the churches, and they don't actually emit light, friends.
• 2:15
  They just hold it. And you can see that the stars
• 2:18
  are the messengers, which are the angels, which are the
• 2:22
  pastors of those churches, friends.
• 2:25
  And you need to understand that when the sun is up in the sky at
• 2:29
  midday, the stars are still there, but they are completely
• 2:33
  overtaken by the light of the sun.
• 2:36
  And you can see that Jesus Christ is the sun.
• 2:39
  He's the SON, and he's walking amongst the churches inspecting
• 2:43
  them, and He's the one who actually gives them their light.
• 2:50
  Verse 2 I know your works and your labor and your patience and
• 2:53
  how you cannot bear them, which are evil.
• 2:56
  And you have tried them, which say they are apostles and are
• 3:00
  not, and you have found them liars.
• 3:02
  So these false apostles have crept in to the church and
• 3:05
  they're trying to act as if they have some kind of authority, and
• 3:09
  they do not. In this church at Ephesus.
• 3:11
  These Ephesians, they have investigated and found out that
• 3:15
  they're propagating a bunch of lies and Jesus Christ is
• 3:19
  commending them for that. Verse 3 And you have borne and
• 3:24
  have patience for my name's sake, and you have labored and
• 3:27
  you have not fainted. So they're not giving up.
• 3:29
  They're pressing towards the goodness of God.
• 3:33
  They're pressing towards the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
• 3:37
  They are not those who have shrunk back.
• 3:42
  They're continuing to run the race.
• 3:43
  Verse 4. Nevertheless, I have somewhat
• 3:46
  against you because you have left your first love.
• 3:52
  This is a famous Bible passage that gets used a lot and it is
• 3:57
  pointing towards someone who was once on fire for the Lord.
• 4:04
  When they first gave their life over to the Lord, they truly
• 4:09
  believed all the words. They were on fire for God.
• 4:13
  They were believing that God could do anything.
• 4:16
  And then through a series of subsequent actions and prayers
• 4:23
  and through the world and through just life experiences,
• 4:28
  they have left their first love. They haven't lost it, but
• 4:34
  they've left it friends and losing something and leaving
• 4:38
  something is 2 totally different things.
• 4:43
  And they have put their faith on the shelf and they've left it
• 4:47
  there while they went out into the world and engaged in the
• 4:51
  culture. And here Jesus is saying,
• 4:54
  listen, you got to return back to your first love.
• 4:59
  Do the things that you once were doing.
• 5:02
  When was the time in your life that you felt God the most?
• 5:07
  Ask yourself, when was He the nearest to you?
• 5:11
  When did you feel His presence the most?
• 5:14
  When were you the most in love with Jesus Christ?
• 5:18
  Ask yourself those questions. What were you doing?
• 5:22
  What were the things that you were doing during that time?
• 5:25
  And whatever the answer to that question is, go back and do
• 5:29
  those things and watch how He returns back to you.
• 5:33
  We have seared our consciences, we have grieved the Spirit, and
• 5:39
  He is silent in our lives. And for us to cultivate that
• 5:44
  relationship back again, we must return, just like the prodigal
• 5:49
  son. We return back to the Father's
• 5:51
  house. We return back to the penthouse,
• 5:54
  to the very top. We return back to our bridal
• 5:57
  identity. We don't stay in the pigpen.
• 6:00
  We don't wallow in the mud. We don't think that God is mad
• 6:03
  at us and He doesn't want to have anything to do with us.
• 6:06
  We do not let condemnation rule over us in the voice of the
• 6:11
  enemy that tells us not to go back to the Father's house.
• 6:14
  He is waiting for U.S. Open handed.
• 6:16
  He has been pursuing us like the shepherd who has lost the one
• 6:20
  sheep. Out of the 100 friends, he's
• 6:22
  left the 99. He's waiting for us to return
• 6:25
  back to Him. We cannot stay in our own vomit,
• 6:28
  friends. We must return back to it.
• 6:31
  We haven't lost it, we've left it.
• 6:34
  Friends, go back and do the things that you once did when
• 6:38
  you felt God the most, and watch how He returns back to you.
• 6:42
  His mercies are new. Everyday.
• 6:44
  Friends, do not stay out there in the wilderness.
• 6:47
  Come back to the Father's house. Five.
• 6:52
  Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen, and repent and
• 6:57
  do the first works, or else I will come unto you quickly, and
• 7:03
  I will remove your Candlestick out of his place, except you
• 7:07
  repent. This is immediate obedience.
• 7:10
  Friends, you do not know when you're going to breathe.
• 7:13
  You were last and you don't want to die out in the wilderness.
• 7:18
  You don't want to die apart from a relationship with God
• 7:21
  Almighty. You don't know how many more
• 7:23
  days you have on this earth and your life is but a vapor.
• 7:26
  It's today that today is the day of salvation.
• 7:30
  Friends, return back. Repent, Repent friends, that is
• 7:35
  not a nasty word, That is not a negative word.
• 7:39
  That is a beautiful word that just remains returning back to
• 7:44
  the high position of a son of the Most High God, a daughter of
• 7:49
  the King of Kings. Friends, that is our position in
• 7:52
  Christ Jesus. We are not those who squander
• 7:56
  our inheritance like Esau for a mess of pottage.
• 7:59
  Come out from that 6. But this you have that you hate
• 8:06
  the deeds of the Nicolatians, which I also hate.
• 8:09
  So these Nicolatians, this is the Conqueror of the lay people.
• 8:14
  That is what their name means. They are those that
• 8:17
  professionalize the pulpit and they look down the nose at the
• 8:22
  common folk and God saying that he hates those who try to
• 8:27
  professionalize the pulpit, who think that they need a degree on
• 8:31
  the wall in order to be able to teach friends.
• 8:34
  That is how we got ourselves into this mess that we are in
• 8:38
  today. That is because we have
• 8:42
  marginalized the fishermen and the common folk and the
• 8:45
  unlearned, and we think that the pulpit is only for those who
• 8:50
  have these seminary degrees, which are the cemetery degrees,
• 8:55
  friends. And there are many pastors who
• 8:58
  are preaching in the pulpit who don't even have a relationship
• 9:02
  with God Almighty, and he hates that.
• 9:06
  Seven, he that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says
• 9:10
  unto the churches. To him that overcomes I will
• 9:15
  give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the
• 9:19
  paradise of God. So you need to understand that
• 9:23
  verse 7 is a hinge point within the Book of Revelation and it's
• 9:27
  within the framework of what God has to say to all of church
• 9:33
  history from the primitive church all the way until today
• 9:37
  and for however long the church is left on this earth.
• 9:40
  You need to know that he is saying that all 7 churches are
• 9:44
  applicable to you friend. He that has an ear to hear, let
• 9:51
  him hear what the Spirit says to the churches, plural.
• 9:57
  We cannot just pick and choose which church we think that we
• 10:01
  are. This is all applicable to you
• 10:04
  friends. You don't get to just try to
• 10:06
  figure out which one that you are in.
• 10:12
  And he's telling us that if we will overcome, if we will not
• 10:15
  backslide, if we will not give up, if we don't renounce our
• 10:18
  faith, then we will be there with him and get to eat from the
• 10:22
  tree of life in the paradise. And paradise is wherever Jesus
• 10:28
  Christ is. That is paradise, friends.
• 10:32
  Hey, and unto the Angel of the Church of Smyrna write these
• 10:37
  things, says the 1st and the last, which was dead and is
• 10:41
  alive. We know that he's talking about
• 10:43
  Jesus Christ. He is the 1st and the last.
• 10:46
  He's the alpha, the Omega. He was the one that they tried
• 10:49
  to kill, but he resurrected back to life and he holds the keys.
• 10:53
  Friends 9 I know your works and tribulation and poverty, but you
• 11:00
  are rich and I know the blasphemy of them which say they
• 11:04
  are Jews and they're not and are of the synagogue of Satan.
• 11:10
  So here we're going to get into an interesting topic here where
• 11:13
  he's going to talk about the ten days, which a lot of people
• 11:16
  think are the 10 emperors from 96 AD to 316 AD, where you had
• 11:23
  10 emperors of persecution. And then at 316 AD the
• 11:29
  persecution was lifted. And you need to know that this
• 11:33
  is writing towards a church that Jesus Christ knew that
• 11:37
  persecution was coming. And if you go back and study
• 11:40
  history, not even biblical history but just secular
• 11:44
  history, you will find that the Christians were persecuted under
• 11:47
  10 Roman emperors. How interesting is that now?
• 11:53
  And I know your works and your tribulation.
• 11:55
  And he tells them that they are rich in spiritual matters, even
• 12:00
  though the world would say they are in poverty and that is part
• 12:05
  of the persecution. It wasn't just death, it was
• 12:08
  also the stripping of any of their property.
• 12:14
  But he says You are rich. 10 Fear none of those things which
• 12:18
  you shall suffer. Behold, the devil shall cast
• 12:22
  some of you into prison, that you may be tried, and you shall
• 12:26
  have tribulation 10 days. But be you faithful unto death,
• 12:31
  and I will give you a crown of life.
• 12:34
  There's one of the crowns that we'll receive as a reward if we
• 12:37
  will go through persecution and not be afraid and not shrink
• 12:44
  back and not squander our inheritance and not receive the
• 12:48
  mark. Friends, this is applicable to
• 12:51
  today. This wasn't just a time in
• 12:53
  church history. This is for all time sake for
• 12:56
  the church at large, the capital C Ecclesia Church friends, the
• 13:01
  called out ones who suffer persecution even today.
• 13:05
  And it has been recorded that there has been more lives lost
• 13:10
  in the 19 century then there was before.
• 13:14
  In totality, Friends, there is massive persecution for the
• 13:20
  Christians today. It's just scrubbed and it is
• 13:25
  marginalized and it is deeply hidden within mainstream media,
• 13:30
  Friends. But you need to understand that
• 13:33
  this is applicable for today. And he said that it would be so.
• 13:38
  And we don't need to think that this was just a time or a blip
• 13:42
  in history. And this is for another group of
• 13:45
  people. He's telling you, and he's
• 13:46
  telling me to not receive the mark, to not allow fear to reign
• 13:53
  in your life, to not fear the one that could kill the body.

  Friends, what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but
• 14:03
  to lose his soul? We can't be those that feared
• 14:07
  death and allowed the devil to have a foothold in our lives by
• 14:12
  us trying to escape the inevitable.
• 14:16
  We just say yes and Amen to all of God's ways and the blood of
• 14:20
  the martyr is the seed of the gospel.
• 14:24
  You need to know that that God's will will continue no matter if
• 14:33
  you are here or not. We just say yes and Amen to all
• 14:38
  of His ways, even the things that we don't like or
• 14:42
  understand. But we cannot try to save our
• 14:45
  skin, Friends. We are blessed because of where
• 14:50
  we live and we are blessed because we get to have the Bible
• 14:55
  and we get to worship openly Friends.
• 14:58
  But how amazing is it that we were born where we were born?
• 15:03
  But you cannot marginalized those who do not have the same
• 15:07
  privileges. This is a gospel for the entire
• 15:12
  world. This is not a nationalistic
• 15:15
  religion. This is not just for the Jews.
• 15:18
  This is for every man, woman and child across the entire globe,
• 15:23
  even those that are in the countries where the the Bible is
• 15:28
  illegal. It's for them as well.
• 15:30
  And there are many people even today in all of the world that
• 15:35
  are being persecuted. And we pray for them.
• 15:38
  Friends, fear none of those things which you shall suffer.
• 15:48
  Behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that
• 15:53
  you may be tried, and you shall have tribulation 10 days.
• 15:57
  But be faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.
• 16:01
  What a promise. 11 He that has an ear, let him hear what the
• 16:06
  Spirit says unto the churches. He that overcomes shall not be
• 16:10
  hurt of the second death. This second death is eternal
• 16:14
  separation from God Almighty, and you need to know that we as
• 16:20
  Christians will not have to suffer the second death.
• 16:24
  We must die once, as Christ did, but we will be resurrected unto
• 16:28
  life and have immortal bodies, and we will not have to go into
• 16:33
  the lake of fire. We will not have to go into an
• 16:36
  eternal separation from God, which is the second death. 12
• 16:42
  And unto the Angel of the Church of Pergamus, write these things,
• 16:46
  says he, which has the sharp sword with two edges.
• 16:51
  So this is a church that is starting to become worldly.
• 16:59
  They're starting to compromise. And you need to know that this
• 17:03
  Pergamus was a seat of Satan, which is where a lot of the
• 17:09
  education and a lot of the writings would be publicized to
• 17:12
  go out into the whole world. And Satan had set his Kingdom
• 17:16
  down there. And you need to know that Satan
• 17:19
  is not omnipresent. He's not able to be everywhere
• 17:22
  all at once, friends. And he is a geographical Angel
• 17:30
  who is limited in what he can do.
• 17:34
  And here in the Book of Revelation, he has settled down
• 17:39
  in Pergamus. This was a center of idolatry,
• 17:43
  and the church there was starting to compromise.
• 17:48
  And that is what Jesus wants to call them out on. 13 I know your
• 17:53
  works and where you dwell, even where Satan's seed is, and that
• 17:58
  you hold fast my name and have not denied my faith, even in
• 18:03
  those days where Antipus was my faithful martyr who was slain
• 18:08
  among you, where Satan dwells. So they're experiencing the
• 18:13
  persecution, They're experiencing the Roman
• 18:16
  persecution because they would not bow down to the emperor and
• 18:19
  worship him as God. They would not give in to the
• 18:23
  polytheistic worship of the Roman government.
• 18:28
  They were sold out to Jesus Christ and even this Antipas he
• 18:34
  had given up his life and Jesus commended him for it.
• 18:37
  And they are in the center of this satanic worship and they're
• 18:44
  still holding fast to their faith.
• 18:46
  And he says, good job. 14 But I have a few things against you,
• 18:52
  because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who
• 18:58
  taught Balak to cast the stumbling block before the
• 19:02
  children of Israel, to eat things, sacrifice unto idols,
• 19:06
  and to commit fornication. So Balaam would not pronounce a
• 19:11
  curse upon the Israelites because God would not allow him
• 19:16
  to. He went the way of Balaam, which
• 19:18
  means he was doing it for profit.
• 19:20
  But then instead of pronouncing a curse, he just told Balak how
• 19:25
  he could integrate them and how he could get them to be
• 19:29
  intermingled with fornication and idolatry.
• 19:33
  And that is what Jesus is calling out this church at
• 19:36
  Pergamus for. And they're saying don't give in
• 19:39
  to the way of Balaam. Don't give in to this compromise
• 19:43
  of allowing sexual immorality to rule the day, friends.
• 19:48
  And what a word for us today. What a word for the Church of
• 19:53
  this hour. We cannot allow sexual
• 19:57
  perversion to rule the day and to get us to intermingle in with
• 20:01
  satanic practices. Far be it from us to be duped,
• 20:06
  and far be it from us to be those who turn our backs on God
• 20:12
  for pleasure. 15 So have you also them that hold the doctrine
• 20:20
  of the Nicolatians, which thing I hate?
• 20:23
  So he's mentioned it here again, this heretical sect of Gnostics
• 20:31
  who are intermingling the world in with the religion and they
• 20:38
  are trying to conquer the lay people.
• 20:44
  They are trying to usurp their authority over the common man.
• 20:48
  And God says he hates that. 16 Repent, or else I will come unto
• 20:55
  you quickly and we'll fight against them with the sword of
• 20:59
  my mouth. That is the word of God.

  It is the 2 edged sword that comes out of Jesus Christ's
• 21:06
  mouth. There's no handle on it.
• 21:07
  It's all edge friends. You can't handle the word of God
• 21:13
  without being cut to pieces. Friends, that is what he is
• 21:19
  referencing. He's telling them to return back
• 21:23
  to their first love, return back to their high position in Christ
• 21:27
  Jesus, or he will come and fight against them with the two edged
• 21:31
  sword which is the word of God. 17 He that has an ear, let him
• 21:36
  hear what the Spirit says unto the churches, to him that
• 21:41
  overcomes. I will give to eat of the hidden
• 21:44
  manna, and will give him a whitestone, and in the stone a
• 21:49
  new name written, which no man knows, except he that receives
• 21:55
  it. What an amazing thought that we
• 21:57
  get access to this hidden manna, the tree of life.
• 22:05
  We get access to Jesus Christ and He's going to give us this
• 22:10
  new name written on a Whitestone that no man knows.
• 22:18
  What an amazing thought, friends.
• 22:21
  This is a sound off. This is ringing an alarm,
• 22:30
  friends, that we have to stand firm in the face of everything
• 22:37
  that is coming against us today. We cannot be watered down.
• 22:42
  We cannot push a watered down gospel so that we can be
• 22:46
  relevant to today's society. It never works that way.
• 22:51
  We must teach the truth. We must teach the entirety of
• 22:57
  God's Word, no matter how unpopular it is in today's
• 23:01
  culture and today's day and age. Friends, this is just as
• 23:06
  relevant for us today as it was 2000 years ago.

  We've been at the last days for 2000 years.
• 23:13
  Friends, do not believe the lie that the Bible is archaic and
• 23:18
  barbaric and it is not profitable for today. 18 And
• 23:27
  unto the Angel of the church in Thyatira, right these things,
• 23:34
  says the Son of God, who has his eyes unto a flame of fire, and
• 23:40
  his feet are like fine brass. So we learned about Jesus Christ
• 23:44
  and what he looks like today with his hair like wool and eyes
• 23:48
  like fire, with the voice of the many multitudes and a sharp 2
• 23:53
  edged source sword that comes out of his mouth, and with the
• 23:56
  robe that goes down to his feet and this golden sash across his
• 24:01
  breastplate. And we see that he has the stars
• 24:06
  in his hand, friends. We see Jesus Christ here writing
• 24:12
  to the church in Thyatira, and he has his feet like fine brass,
• 24:17
  which are hardened in the fire, friends, harder than anything
• 24:22
  else, able to withstand any attack. 19 I know your works and
• 24:30
  charity and service and faith and your patience and your works
• 24:43
  and the last to be more than the first.
• 24:46
  So here he's commending them and he's telling them good job and
• 24:51
  this is the church in idolatry, friends.
• 24:54
  And he's telling them all the things that they've been doing.
• 24:57
  They've been working for them. They've been actually loving in
• 25:00
  action. They've actually been opening up
• 25:04
  and having service towards their brothers and sisters.
• 25:07
  They're faithful, they have patience and that the last to be
• 25:13
  more than the first. They're honoring each other. 20
• 25:17
  notwithstanding, I have a few things against you because you
• 25:22
  suffer that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess to
• 25:28
  teach, to seduce my servants, to commit fornication, and to eat
• 25:36
  things sacrificed unto idols. It could not be more plain,
• 25:40
  friends. He's talking about the spirit of
• 25:43
  Jezebel. He's talking about these women
• 25:47
  who usurp authority over the men and she's telling them that it's
• 25:52
  OK to go into these idle temples and commit fornication with the
• 26:02
  temple prostitutes. And it's no different in our day
• 26:07
  and our hour. Friends, there are a lot of
• 26:10
  people who are following after the spirit of Jezebel and it is
• 26:16
  repulsive and disgusting in the nostrils of a holy God. 21 I
• 26:24
  gave her space to repent of her fornication and she repented.
• 26:28
  Not so. Isn't God long-suffering?
• 26:32
  But he tells us to repent quickly.
• 26:36
  We should not put off the repentance.
• 26:39
  If you are in error today, then let today be the day that you
• 26:44
  take off the shackles of perversion and return back to
• 26:52
  your first love. You do not know if you'll be
• 26:56
  given more time to do so. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a
• 27:02
  bed, and then that commit adultery with her into great
• 27:06
  tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
• 27:09
  He's giving them an opportunity, and he will not suffer with
• 27:14
  mankind forever, friends. And he's saying he's going to
• 27:20
  cast this Jezebel spirit and all of her followers into a sick
• 27:25
  bed. If they want to go lie in a bed,
• 27:28
  it'll be a sick bed, friends. 23 And I will kill her children
• 27:34
  with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he which
• 27:40
  searches the reins and hearts. And I will give unto everyone of
• 27:45
  you according to your works He's talking about you'll reap what
• 27:49
  you sow. He's saying he searches the will
• 27:52
  of man. He searches the mind and the
• 27:55
  emotions of man. And he's saying that we need to
• 27:58
  return back to our first love. We don't need to compromise our
• 28:02
  faith, Friends. He's talking about all of the
• 28:05
  followers of Jezebel will have to suffer the same fate that she
• 28:10
  does. And it'll be an example to the
• 28:12
  churches. 24 But unto you, I say, and unto the rest, in
• 28:18
  Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have
• 28:23
  not known the depths of Satan as they speak, I will put upon you
• 28:29
  no other burden. So these Gnostics, they thought
• 28:33
  that they could just teach some kind of deep teachings of Satan,
• 28:38
  and in order to defeat Satan, they think that they must study
• 28:41
  their enemy. Far be it from us to slip off
• 28:44
  into this disgusting practice of studying Satan.
• 28:50
  And that is what he is referencing here.
• 28:52
  If you want to be able to identify the counterfeit, you
• 28:56
  have to study the real thing, friends.
• 28:59
  Study the Word of God. Live by the Word of God.
• 29:03
  Quit reading the extra biblical garbage that is supposed to
• 29:08
  supplement the Word of God. All of these devotions, all of
• 29:13
  the publications of pastors and their opinions.
• 29:17
  Read the Word of God and that is all that you need, friends.
• 29:21
  It is the only authority in our lives.
• 29:24
  It's not the Word of God plus another publication.
• 29:29
  It is only the 66th Canon from Genesis to Revelation that we
• 29:34
  study earnestly every day for the rest of our lives to be able
• 29:39
  to guard ourselves against all of the deception that's coming
• 29:45
  in and droves this apostasy that is here today.
• 29:51
  The false teachers and false prophets who twist Scripture,
• 29:55
  you'll know that they're twisting it if you're reading
• 29:58
  the Word of God for yourself. 25 But that which you have already,
• 30:09
