- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Building the Best You, a destination for you to reimagine what is possible in your life and then create it.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the show, everybody.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Gene Collins, and today we have Zuzu Arms coming to us.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: We are going to talk about holistic health, everybody.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: And this woman, I have to say, in preparation for the show, I was digging about you on Instagram and your website and your retreat and everything that you do.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: And you were just so cool.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Like you are the kind of person I want to have come over for dinner and just passionately talk.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: So I am so excited that you are here to talk to us and share.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: You have so much wealth and knowledge, and you do so much good in the world.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: And I thank you so much for making the time to come on the show.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: So welcome, Zuzu.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you, Gene.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: And look at you.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: You're the one doing so much good in the world.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Look at all the people you reach every week.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: This is just amazing that you have created this platform.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: So thank you for all that you are doing to help so many people.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: It is great.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: I do this for fun.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So hey, I do this for fun.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: I know you do.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: So you are a speaker, you are an author, you hold retreats, you are a holistic health educator, which I'm really excited about because I've had people come on and talk about holistic health, but I've never had someone come on who really has a mission of educating and creating more people in the holistic health realm.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: And I am so excited to talk to you on so many subjects.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: One that's personal and near to dear to my heart, the gut.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna get to that one.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: But before we do, can you share a little bit about you and your background and how you got to be where you are today?
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: I love the human body.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: I absolutely love the human body.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: I love the organs, I love the organelles, I love the cells, I love the how our systems work.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: To me, it's fascinating.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: And I remember my daughter Rose, she's one of my younger daughters, and we have like 12, but anyhow, and I remember I came downstairs one day and I had bought this brand new super fancy, dancy sewing machine.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Cause I'm like, I like sewing and my daughter Rose likes to sew.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna get a really, really good machine, spent a lot of money on.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: I come down at six in the morning.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: It wasn't five.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: She was reading the user manual.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I mean, she was brilliant.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: You know, she's a 9.9% child of the entire world with her brain by her IQ.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: And she's an actress, but don't ask me.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: But anyhow, and so she literally was reading the manual.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: And I was like, wouldn't it be great if like we were born with a manual of how this body works?
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: And so we weren't.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: So I wrote one.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: And so like I just try to teach it to anybody I can.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: And it has been the best journey ever because I had epilepsy.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: So I was raised on three medications for seizures with all the side effects of the depression and the weirdness and weight gain and whatever else it might have been.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: And when I was of age to get married and have children, I'm like, wait a minute, I don't want to be on medication when I'm pregnant.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: And so I studied, and back then, that was before the World Wide Web for all of us who can still remember those days.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: So it was library and books and magazines and study and trial and error.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: And in three and a half months, I was off of all my medication.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: I haven't had a seizure since.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: And so I was like, wait a minute, what else are they not telling you?
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Like my doctors didn't know how to get me off of medication, but I learned it in months of understanding the synapse of the brain and how synapses work and what vitamins and minerals were needed.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: And that's really when my brain went to we are built out of material.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: And if we don't have the right material, we will have a malfunction.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: It's just like a car.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And if you look at a car, like the other day, I had one of my uh clients come in and he's a big John Deere, you know, big, you know, big real retailer.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Sam, Joe, and changed his name for privacy.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: That makes sense, though.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Like when you when you get your new, you know, John Deere in, do you open up the engine and be like, I can take that part out and that part out and that part out?
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: I do you do that?
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Like, which which part can you take out?
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: He's like, none of it.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: I'm like, no, are you sure?
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Like, there's not some filters you can take out because you really don't need those filters, the you know, the gas gauge.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Like, you don't need that, right?
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: He's like, Karen, everything I need.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: I'm like, exactly.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Organ renewal, not organ removal, because absolutely everything in your body was designed to work synergistically.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: And so that's kind of where my attitude came from let's heal the body, let's work with the body, let's cleanse the body, and then let's go from there.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: So it's been a great journey.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Reversed my scoliosis a few years ago, took about 18 months and it was gone.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: I had the before and after x-rays.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: It's just been a great journey.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: And then I'd been working with tens of thousands of clients for 20-some years.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: And that's been, that's been so rewarding, Gene, because how can you not feel rewarded when you see children who are literally bedridden and told that they'll need chemotherapy the rest of their life, they'll never be able to move because of a lung issue.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: And I test them and look at their, you know, look at all the results.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this isn't lungs, this is the heart.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: 10 days later, he's playing outside football with his friends, and he has lived a perfect life ever since.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: That was 15 years ago.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Like, this is the best job in the world.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: So I love it.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Wow, that is amazing.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: I love your energy.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: And I love your passion.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna assume that there might be some people watching or listening that have heard the word holistic health, but don't know what it means.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: So for those folks, I don't want them to feel uneducated.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: How would you define holistic health?
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Well, that's a great question.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: I wish we spelt it with a W.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: I thought they they missed that part.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: But think of the whole body as holistic health.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: So in America and in Western medicine, we've really divided everything.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: We have a neurologist, we have an endocrinologist, we have a respiratory specialist, we have all these different specialists, right?
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: With the urinary system and the excretory system and all these different systems, the circulatory system, but that's not how the body actually works.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: The body actually works divinely as a whole entity.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: So the nervous system actually controls everything.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Like to me, everything is a mineral deficiency and a nervous system deficiency.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: And when we realize that we act as a whole, we take another bird's eye view back and we look at whole food.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Like all the constituents in the orange work together.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: And all the constituents in a pecan work together to lower blood pressure and health you get.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: All the constituents in a walnut, when soaked, you know, and germinated, are is going to help improve brain health.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: Like all of these foods that we eat, if we look at them as whole, they are designed to help our body holistically heal as a general.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: So there's so many stories.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: I could be here for 17 hours sharing a meeting, you know, crazy wonderful stories.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Just yesterday, one of our staff members, she had come back from traveling extensively for about a week and a half, doing hundreds and hundreds of ultrasounds with our 28-year veteran surgeon who's now an ultrasound.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: Uh, anyhow, and she had gotten a little runny nose and a cough.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: And we have an apothecary.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: So at one in the morning, she got up, looked for what was best.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: I do a lot of mullen, and she's like, oh, Karen, I just grabbed some marshmallow root.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: It's completely gone eight hours later.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: You know, so it's like when we look at the body as a whole and that we actually were put on a planet that had a garden, like there had to be grass and herbs and trees and plants in order for anything to live.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: There's a reason that we weren't put in a pharmaceutical parking lot or a McDonald's parking lot.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: We actually came out of a big planet full of plants because all of our amino acids that make a protein, all of our fats, all of our minerals, all of our vitamins, all of this comes from the ground.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: And so we need to get it out of the ground.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: And eating rocks won't cut it.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: We have to actually get plants into our body.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: And when we eat plants, depending on what the root system of those plants picked up, we now have that in our body to build what is needed to make a neurotransmitter, to make a hormone for the endocrine system, to build our bladder so it's healthy and strong, to build our muscles.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: So for me, holistic health is taking a look at the whole body, body, mind, spirit, all that stuff you always hear about, and then whole food.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: And when you put whole food with a whole body, you actually get holistic health.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: So there's about, and I have my phone has got thousands of contacts, and hundreds of them are doctors.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: So I am definitely not anti-doctor.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: The slogan of our school is bridging western and eastern medicine for good.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: Because I have medical doctors who graduate my programs all the time.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: I have medical doctors that are helping present some of our programs.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: We work with the both the worlds because we both need each other.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: And so we just try to combine those so people can take better care of themselves without being dependent, you know, on a pill bottle or the end of a needle to get health when so much of it is outside in my garden or outside in your garden or outside in your weeds, which there's no such thing.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: So that's kind of what I would say if you asked about holistic health.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: That is a beautiful answer.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: So when you're trying to train people in this profession and you're trying to look at the body as a whole, and you know, I've had lots of guests come on and say, you know, symptoms are are just a symbol that something's wrong.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: It just like you gave the example of the child, you know, with the different organs.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: How does someone go about trying to pinpoint what is actually really wrong?
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Where like inflammation or bloating in the gut, for example, I know you talk a lot about this.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: It's like, well, is it exactly because you don't have enough probiotics or is it because of something else?
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you walk people through, whether you're teaching educators or you're working with your own clients?
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: How do you try to figure that out?
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: It seems like a puzzle.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: It well, signs are great.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: So symptoms are just that.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: That's all.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's like, don't wouldn't it be great?
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, we do.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: We all have that blinking red light that we have in our car.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: It's in our body.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: Like, okay, something's oh, you know, alert, alert.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: There's a, you know, intruder in section 44.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, we have leaky gut, so we have an allergy.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: So sometimes it's just, you know, taking courses and understanding how the body works.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: But if you're new at this, then we look at things as simple as a runny nose.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, we have a runny nose or we have a cough or a fever.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: So let's say runny nose, cough, and a fever.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: This is great.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: What are they all trying to do?
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: Get something out of the body.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: Something out.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: We don't take a suppressant.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Hello.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: You don't take a cough suppressant because the purpose of the cough is to get something out of the body, right?
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: So you take an expector rent or you make that because it's very easy to make.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: If there's a fever, you don't stop the fever.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: No one's ever died of a fever, ever, ever, ever.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: People die of the medication they take for a fever, but fevers don't kill people.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: If you get nervous about a fever, then you can do some simple cold compresses on the neck or the wrists.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: But to my knowledge and everything I've ever studied, fever doesn't kill anybody.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: What kills people is maybe not maintaining it under that 104, even though 104 in my book is still fine, because we're burning something out of the body.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: I have induced fever so many times in people.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: I've recommended it because that's how we actually heal.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: And if we look at history throughout all of history, every archaeological dig will show you that there is a fire pit in the middle of a village.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: And then around the fire pit, what they don't always share is there's grave-like dugouts all around that fire pit.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: So if someone is sick, they brought them to the fire and they lit the fire and they let the earth with all of its negative ions, which is how we ground, right?
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Physically with the earth next to the fire, which is burning out, which is creating heat in the body, guarantee they were getting yarrow and ginger and cayenne and different peppers to warm and heat the body from the inside out so we can release some of those toxins.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: Now, I will tell you right now, this is for entertainment purposes only.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: I'm not a medical doctor, and I'm sure your medical doctor will tell you to always suppress a fever.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: So you do whatever you want to do.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: There's my medical disclaimer.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: I'm just telling you, this mama right here has been known to induce fevers, not, you know, and and and vocally speak against curbing a fever because so often it is the only way to actually get something out of the body and have it leave the body.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: People don't realize if you don't actually kill the bacteria or stop the virus, right?
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: Then, or the parasite, if you don't kill it, bacterias and viruses, they're called opportunistic organisms.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: They're gonna hide in the body.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: So you take all your suppressants and you reduce your fever, and then you never kill it.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: It just goes hiding in your adipose tissue.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: So now everybody living has bacteria and viruses in their adipose tissue.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: Where do you think shingles comes from?
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: You treated it younger, you had chicken pox, and now you get shingles when you're older.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: You shouldn't have.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: You should never get shingles when you're older if you had chicken pox when you were younger.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: You should never ever, ever have to worry about it.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: Except you do have to worry about it because you didn't actually kill it, right?
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: You might have taken a vaccine for it, but that didn't kill it.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: And if you don't lead a healthy lifestyle, then your cell memory is gonna forget how did I kill that virus?
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: And then you'll be exposed to it, and boom, you get shingles.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: And so if you can kill things in the body, then they're gone.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: And then your next exposure to that, you have this army of white blood cells that already knows how to get rid of it.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: So you might have had a bacterial ear infection when you were four, but your mother gave you homeopathy and didn't like put you on antibiotics for it.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: So your body figured out how to kill it.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: And then you get exposed to your grandchild 60 years later, and they've got the same bacterial infection, and your body already knows how to get rid of it.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: So it just gets rid of it and you don't even know what's happening.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: One of my favorite things, Gene, was I love, love, love live blood cell analysis.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: I just love it.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: It's so much fun to take a drop of blood from somebody, put it under a microscope and see what's going on.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: The first time I had it done to me, which was, I don't know, 24 years ago, we put this drop of blood under the microscope and it all looked beautiful and really happy.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: And then there was this bacteria, and these white blood cells attacked it right under the microscope.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: I watched the whole thing and then it was gone.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: And I was like, what just happened?
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Well, your white blood cells just ate that bacteria.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, this is amazing, you know.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: I was like, this is the coolest thing ever.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Like that happens inside all of us all the time.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: You know, given that we maintain a healthier lifestyle.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: So the point is you can get from point A wherever you are to point B, literally.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: And I could literally right now pull up my phone and show you the blood work from one of our clients eight days ago.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: You would you would be mind blown.
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: It's actually the worst blood I have ever seen in my life, ever, ever, ever have seen in my life.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: Eight days later, it is amazing.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: It is like there's still some mold that's gonna take some time to get rid of.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: This is one drop of blood, night and day difference.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: In eight days of changing the diet, taking a sauna every day, using hypervaricamber, the lymphatic machines, you know, all the stuff that we do here.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Eight days, she's going home lighter because she lost weight, feeling better.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: And this is we have a bunch of people here that just left.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: But this one in particular was like a big excitement for us because I've never seen worse, worse blood in my life ever.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: And it was so satisfying.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: And she's like, I don't want to go home.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: Please just keep me.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: But she speaks Russian, so I never know how to.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I have so many Russian speakers that come to our retreats and network here.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: It's always really quite fun.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: But um, it's just neat.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: It's neat to see.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: It's sort of like giving people new life and in many ways, probably making them feel like miracles have happened to them.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: Where for you, you're like, all I'm doing is getting your body to work better and heal yourself.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: That's all you're doing, which to you sounds so simple.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: It's really not so simple though.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: It's really not I know.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: I know, I know, I know.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: And that's probably the most exciting is like we had on some, we've had teenagers come to the big retreats, and they too, after they've been here for 10 days and they're like, we can never go back to eating how we ate because we sleep better, we feel better, we we, I mean, they're waking up in the morning, they feel incredible.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: It's really neat.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: It's it's really neat what happens in just a week or 10 days.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: So a short period of time.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: So can we talk about your retreats for a minute?
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: I would love if you could share, you know, what's a retreat like?
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: And because I'm sure there are some people that are listening to you and they're thinking, oh my goodness, she's gonna take away everything that I like, and I'm gonna now be eating dirt and eating raw herbs and never drinking again, and all the fun of life is gone.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: So, can you talk about what happens in a retreat?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Because I would assume there also is a high level of education.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: It's really fun.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: We do we do a lot of clinical work in that, like we have a lab, so we run your blood and we do your urine analysis.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: Uh, but then we have a surgeon who was 28 years as a surgeon.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: Now she does all of our ultrasounds.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: So she flies in, we fly her in once a month, and she'll do all the out, well, or every time we have a retreat, she'll do the ultrasounds and she'll do an ultrasound of all the major organs, which is always amazing because you can find your kidney stones and find your gallstones and look at your breasts and look at your prostate.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: You can see everything.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: And then we do like thermal imaging of the breasts.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: We offer, you know, the live blood cell analysis.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: We do chiropractic, we do massage.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: We there's a lot that goes into just kind of, and we we meet, obviously, we do consultations.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: I love biofeedback.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: Biofeedback is extremely accurate.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: So we do a lot of feedback, biofeedback here, but we never diagnose.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: That's not what we do here.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: We just show you.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: We so we'll show you here.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: Here's what's in your blood, here's what this can normally mean or not normally mean.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: You decide.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: So we don't do any diagnostic.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: We have medical directors, we work with medical doctors.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: That's not the issue.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: We just don't want to be that clinic that's diagnosing anyone.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: So we take whatever you've been told, which most often is not always accurate, just so you're aware.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: We've had people come here who have not had any answers for 21 years seeking doctors.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: And then, you know, within a few days, we're like, well, this is you've you've had an ultron bacteria for how long?
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: You know, that's why you feel better on antibiotics, and then you feel terrible when you're off of antibiotics, right?
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: And so it's been really satisfying that way.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: But the actual living here for a retreat is people love it.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: That we do Tai Chi or yoga or stretching every morning.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: And we do a lot of lemon water in the morning with baking soda.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: Sometimes people add borax, that's up to them.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: But then we do the um golden milk every single day.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: The circuitry is in love with golden milk, and that has been amazing for people.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: We do a liver, a liver detox every morning, but then we have a big liver detox on day six.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: That's always exciting, liver and gallbladder.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: And then every day they have a lot of different modalities.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: So hypervaric chamber is by far one of my favorite things for human beings because it's just so impactful to get more oxygen into the plasma.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: So we love hyperbarics, we love the sauna, we love lymphatic suits, we love red light therapy, you know.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we have rife machines, we have four or five different P EMF, you know, pulse letter magnetic frequency machines.
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: We do the foot baths, and anybody who doesn't think those work simply don't know what we're doing.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: Like it's amazing to watch a foot bath change someone's life.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: And then we do massage, we have multiple types of massage.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: The year, the massage artists that we have here are from Europe and they're like insane.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: I'm just telling you, like, they're different.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: They're like, you just, it's not, you are not gonna come here to feel fluff, fluff, all good.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: You're gonna be in pain and have cups all over you and have bruising, and you're never gonna feel better.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Like it's amazing.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Like, it's just these people are like angels of pain or something.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: They're amazing.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: And then we do acupuncture and needless acupuncture, depending on who we have at staff, uh, and then nutritional counseling.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: So we get to do a lot.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: Um there's thermal therapy and all sorts of stuff that we offer and IV therapy.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: So it's a lot, it's really neat.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: Right now, we have like set retreats every month where people can come and do a five-day, eight-day, you know, 10-day retreat.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: Usually it's five or eight days.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: We've had people here as long as a couple of months.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's been neat.
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: We had one person here, she's been here, she's leaving next week.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: She came and had cancer and uh it's completely gone, by the way.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: So her cancer's gone.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: All the organs look amazing.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: She's been here about two and a half months.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: So that was really cool.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: We don't advocate here, please come here if you have cancer.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: She had had her breasts removed, completely infected, cancer is still showing up.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: So we she came here and uh it's been amazing.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: So we have it just people just depend.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: We don't, we don't cure anybody.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: We just teach you how the body works.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: We help you understand food, and and you get to, you know, you get to help make food.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: Most often you're doing things with food as well.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: So you know what to do when you go home.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: We have a we're building a lot right now.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: We're actually putting on a few additions, a couple additions.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: They're just starting because one of the things I would love is the last couple days of the retreat, they make their food.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: And so we've done that in the past with my big food retreats, but this is more of a you know, healing journey retreat where you come and you get to, you know, pick your modalities, we make your schedule, and then you get to be here.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: Because the grounds are so beautiful, and we have the only, we have the first, I think an only right now, public structured water pool in the world.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: So one thing I did when I moved here is I took our pool and my madman scientistic friend Dennis, I flew him out here.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: We put in a pool system.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: So it's there's 5,000 frequencies in our pool.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: They're all healing frequencies.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: It's absolutely amazing.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Uh, it's a salt water pool now, and it has a 5,000 frequencies.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: It has 10 megs of ozone, filters through special lights, UB lights, is filtered through uh zea light, not sand, and it has a whole whole filtering system on it as well.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: So it's really neat because of all the ozone and the 5,000 frequencies.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: The pool alone has been able to help people with better eyesight.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: They can hear better, a lot of issues with their gut.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: That's been a big thing.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: We've had children come with really bad gut.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: Issues after they've been in the pool maybe 10 to 15 times, that's all gone.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: So it's been really neat.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: We don't even understand how it works.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, I understand how it works because water conducts electricity, and now you're sitting in a bath with 5,000 healing frequencies.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: So that's pretty cool.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: But it's, I think my favorite part is watching people dive in or do a belly flop or something because there's no pain.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: It's just like you just suck.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: It's like you're it's like you're in butter all the time.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: It just feels like you're like, ooh, it feels so good.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: So and then we have a labyrinth because I'm insane and I love labyrinths.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: I think they're amazing.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: So we have a grass labyrinth that people can walk.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: It's about it's big, 100 feet maybe in diet, you know.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: It's big.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: Anyhow, so it's fine.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: That's what we do.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: It sounds heavenly.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: You're in Georgia, by the way.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I have not said that yet.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: So for everybody, you're in Georgia.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: Do you feel like the people who are drawn there feel like they don't, they're kind of lacking hope and they're really trying to find something because nothing else has worked?
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Or is it maybe a combination of that?
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Plus people that are just genuinely interested in longevity and overall health.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: From from A to B.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: So yeah, all of them.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we'll get some people here.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: One of our ladies that came, I don't even know how she got here or where she found us, because she was like dismal and like, oh my gosh, is anything's gonna work?
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Am I gonna eat any of the food?
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: Like blah, blah, blah.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: And oh my gosh, she was one of the funniest stitches women we've ever had here.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: It was, I mean, just so much fun.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Man, did we make her a believer?
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: But she, you know, she came from meat and potatoes and sugar and cornstarch and you know, blah, blah, blah.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: And then she's dropped into our lap where there is no meat, there is no dairy, there is no grain, and there is no sugar.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: But trust me, you will love every single meal.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: People, I did serve, I serve red potatoes the last day because they haven't had any starches.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it is amazing when people they've never had buckwheat or millet or quinoa, and they haven't had some of these vegetable things.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: I they just don't.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: People don't eat this way.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: They don't eat sauces made out of nuts and seeds.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: And so they haven't and there are our mousse, you know, the moose at the end.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: We at le serve mousse on the last day.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: And oh my gosh, and this time we made ice cream, but the ice cream's out of coconuts, right?
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: It's out of coconuts and and cashews.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: And then I did add uh, we add vanilla, a little bit of maple syrup to that, and some salt.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: And like people just don't realize that you can make everything out of plants, and they really, really enjoy it.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: So it's it's kind of for everyone.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: People, and and we actually designed it, Gene, for the healers.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: We're like, how many of us are out there?
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: I know how many, because I have students all over the world, and yeah, they get exhausted and they're tired because they give and give and give, and they need to retreat.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: And so they can come here and just be coddled and loved on and and then go home, you know, feeling refreshed.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: So right now it's ready to see everybody.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, well, and I hadn't even thought about that.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: But you're right, people that are in this profession, it's draining when you are trying to work in the healing profession.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: It takes a lot of energy out of you.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: And one of the most important things is how do you feel and take care of yourself?
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: So, for you personally, as you are giving, giving, giving and running a business, like let's not forget, you're an entrepreneur.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: You mentioned you have 12 children.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: How do you take care of yourself?
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: Other than I know you eat amazingly and make everything from scratch and all this stuff.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: But I mean, all of that takes energy.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: So, what do you do for yourself personally so you don't go crazy?
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: Well, I have an amazing husband.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, and so we we sauna every single morning, yeah, 140 to 150 degrees for an hour.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: So every morning, um, and we'll exercise before that my peloton.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: So I do some pelotin, we do some lifting weights, um, I do my dumbbells and you know, we all have fun with that.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: So I'll exercise, we get in the sauna, and I do I eat very well and I hydrate well.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: I love hibiscus.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: I use hibiscus almost every day.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: So we that's my maintenance.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: I do like, we'll go to the, I mean, I own a clinic, so I can jump on the hyperbaric chamber if I need to, but I honestly haven't been in there in like a year and a half because I'm just so busy.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: When I when I traveled the country in 2022, I was looking for where to open up a retreat center.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: And I wasn't married at the time.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: And so I was looking to where to open up a retreat center.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: And it was all year that I traveled into December, is when I came to this location.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: So once I pulled in the driveway about 20 feet in, God was like, You're gonna buy it.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: This is it.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: I'm like, okay.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: So I turned to my realtor.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: I said, Okay, we're gonna buy it.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: She's like, You haven't seen it.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: I said, But God just said we're gonna buy it.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: You know, she's like, Okay, put the offer in, you know.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: So we closed eight days later and owned it.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: Like it was amazing.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: And so I've been working a lot since then.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: So this has actually been probably the hardest three years of my life because it has been, you know, 17 and 20 hour days consistently.
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: And that's the only way I've been able to maintain my health is to make sure that I am getting my sauna.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: I'm making sure I stay alkaline.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: I do a lot of spirulina.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: Some and I have a new slogan and it's super great.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: I even have it on my mugs.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: We support your drinking problem.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: But we're not talking alcohol.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: We're talking teas and hibiscus and like nut milks and golden milk.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Like, so I'm all about jumping in the house, throwing stuff in the blender, whatever I need to do, you know, chew it as you drink, because you always have to chew your chew your whatever you blend, right?
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: And yeah, and get back to work.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: So it's been really fun.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: But alcoholizing the body and and keeping enough oxygen in has been the way I've been able to maintain uh incredible health.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: So, and you know, it's it's not always easy.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: I'm human, so sleep gets hard sometimes when there's that much to do and you've got that much staff and you're still running your, you know, we still have our online school, but my daughter took over that.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: So that's been amazing.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: And our staff is everywhere in the world and they're absolutely incredible.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: So it's been a lot of work, but it definitely isn't without a cost.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: You know, it's a cost on your sleep and a cost on extra energy to make sure you can keep going every day.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: So it's been a lot.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: Wow, you are amazing and so inspiring.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: So can we talk about sleep for a minute since you just brought it up?
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: I feel like sleep is especially as we get older, male and female, everyone, right?
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: As we get older, sleep is even more critical, yet seems to be harder in many ways.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: And I've had so many guests come on and talk about the importance of sleep.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: And I am sure people come to your center saying, I can't sleep, but I know I need to sleep because that's how my body restores and it's so critical.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: So for all the people out there who can't sleep well, as opposed to medicating themselves so they can go to sleep, because I also know that is not the right way to go about it.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: What do you suggest to people who cannot sleep?
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: What are a couple things they can try to do?
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: Or what do they need to understand about their body and how sleep happens or works?
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: You bet.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: This is great.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: I do a lot, I talk a lot about sleep.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: And number one, first things first, if you're waking up between two and seven in the morning and you're stressed out and you wake up in a fright, please remember the most important thing to understand is you don't have dopamine and you don't have serotonin and you don't have cortisol between two and seven in the morning.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: Really, between midnight and seven.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: So don't worry.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: If you wake up and you're fretting and the world's gonna end, and oh my gosh, why did you get involved in this?
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: And oh my gosh, how could you when you're thinking all your negative thoughts?
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: You need to stop and remember, oh, I'm not going to be happy until the sun comes up.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: You can't.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: Like, just put it out of your brain and don't like, don't think any of it's real because it's not.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: None of it's real.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: Everything you're thinking between two in the morning and seven in the morning isn't real.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: So let that go.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: That doesn't define you.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: It's not real.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: Do not worry about it.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: So that's the number one thing to understand.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Now, if you're consistently waking up between like three and four, you could have mold in your house, right?
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: These are important because mold spores are going to bloom.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: And if the mold is blooming and you're full of mold, it's gonna wake up the mold in you.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: So there's some things you can look at.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: I love the Chinese clock theory.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: I actually wrote in my book, I actually combined the Chinese clock theory with uh big blood theory work that I did.
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: Let me see if I can find that page and pull it up.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: But if you're waking up between specific times in the night, it can mean what's going on with your liver or with your lungs, right?
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: And so if I find that page, I'll pop it up for you.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: But anyhow, and so you want to do look at when are you opening, you know, when are you waking up, when are you falling asleep, what is working in the body, what's not working in the body.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: But the most important part of sleep is the easiest thing to do to make sure you're sleeping better is to turn your Wi-Fi off.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: People don't realize the smart meter and Wi-Fi are very, very detrimental to health and to your sleep.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: So turning off that Wi-Fi and that smart meter is gonna be very important.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: Now you can't turn off a smart meter because then the electric company can't charge you any money.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: So you can always block that.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: You can put some shielding on the inside of the home.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: You can put sheets of metal on the wall on the opposite side of the smart meter.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: You can get a smart guard, but that doesn't block anything from coming in the house.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: It just blocks what's going to your neighbor, which is still very nice to do, by the way.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: Anyhow, and so there are electrically, you're being stimulated at night.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: And if anybody knows anything about electricity, that's when they do a lot of, you know, trial with the Wi-Fi's and they switch from 3G to 4G to 5G, five point, whatever.
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: That's all happening in the middle of the night.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: We have so many studies that show that.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: But get that out of your brain.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: You can get a Faraday cage.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: If electricity really is the issue, you can order a Faraday cage for 700 bucks and it's like a mosquito netting, and you can put that around you.
- 32:13SPEAKER_01: Um just make sure you're also lining the floor.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: So there are things you can do to electrically prevent that, but then sleep etiquette is important.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: Always sleeping in a room that's cool, cooler the better.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Obviously, block the light if you can, even though I'm a person who loves to wake up with the sun and go to bed with the sun.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: So that's just that's theoretically that's healthy for you.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: And then making sure that there's no electronics in the bedroom.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: Like your phone should not be in your bedroom, and your alarm clock doesn't need to be sitting next to your bed, and your TV should definitely not be in your bedroom, and Wi-Fi shouldn't be going through you when you're sleeping.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: Like, like making sure electrically we're better, we prepare for sleep by turning, like we don't have overhead lights on at night.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: So when the sun sets, popping, and you've probably heard this from all your people who speak, but turning on all your lamps, making sure you have blue glasses on if you're watching a TV show late at night or something.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: But we really like you actually heal and if you think about it, it's so simple.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: Melatonin is released by the pineal gland when the sun sets to put you to sleep.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: So you lay down and go to bed.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: The the melatonin is not coming out, so you can like push it and stay up until one in the morning eating pizza and and podcasting or something.
- 33:21SPEAKER_01: No, like our bodies are designed to go to bed when the sun sets, and then our bodies get up at four or five in the morning when the birds start chirping, and even though that's all screwed up, isn't it?
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Have you noticed the bird earplug at two in the morning?
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: You're like, okay, what's wrong with our birds?
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: Something's wrong with our birds.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: But anyhow, but you're designed to wake up at four or five in the morning, and so kind of just try to maneuver your sleep cycle to go to bed earlier and then wake up earlier.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: And I'm just gonna put it out there, sleep naked.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: I'm just putting it out there right now.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: Sleep naked.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: I am a big sleep naked person.
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: Number one, polyester is screwing up the world.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: Get rid of everything that's polyester in your entire house.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: Like get rid of it and please don't sleep in it.
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: Don't sleep underneath it.
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: Go buy cotton, everything, or linen.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love linen.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: So, number one, you're naked.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: If you're married to someone or you have a significant other, good.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: Touch them.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: Your body should be touching electrically, it's one of the best things you can do to calm the nervous system.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: The whole putting on clothes at night, I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: I know they do it in the movies, but not in reality, honey.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: So, number one, you'll have a better love life if you're naked.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: So just your spouse will love that you listen to this.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: But anyhow, and so, like sleeping naked is multiple reasons why.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: Number one, we don't have polyester, even silk, don't sleep in silk.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: Those things are very restrictive to the breathing of our body and to excrete toxins.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: And so, cotton, linen, that's it.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: We're wool, but that might be a little hot for most people.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: And then touching, physically touching your spouse or the person you're with.
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: If you're single, that's fine, just be naked.
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: You don't have to have anybody with you.
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: But that really does help.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: If you're, you can also use a grounding sheet or a grounding mat, that also helps.
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: But as you discharge at night, it helps to rejuvenate you for the next day.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: So, like that's important.
- 35:09SPEAKER_01: These are this just this is just science.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: Like, there's what happens at the cellular level when you are touching another human being, it just goes off the chart with healing capabilities.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: And people don't realize that we are interconnected.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: It's called entanglement.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: And this is very real.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: And so when you are naked and touching another human, very beneficial.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: And if you have a dog that sleeps with you, great.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: I don't, I mean, we we are don't make this sound weird or anything, but it's okay not to have all your clothes on if you've got a kitty cat up by your neck or something.
- 35:40SPEAKER_01: You're still literally touching another living, breathing edifice, right?
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: Called Sally, and she's purring.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: This is phenomenal.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: Like this, you're sharing electrons, right?
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: And so this is just part of healing.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: And so I'm a big get rid of all your polyester, everything, uh sleep naked, make more love, and it will happen because your body's going to want to be with your partner if you're sleeping naked more often.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: And sex is a big issue.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: People are having a really hard time with that.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: They're not lubricating, they don't have libido.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: I've never seen a worse time of libido than I do right now.
- 36:13SPEAKER_01: It's it's completely gone down, and there's many reasons why.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: But so sleeping, preparing for sleep, create the little sleep sanctuary.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: We actually have a mini course on sleep.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: Um, so we can we can get that to you.
- 36:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: And so there's just a lot we can do with that.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: But that's right off the bat, just some tips.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: Things I would not have thought of.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: And you are gonna be like my most popular guest among the male listeners because you want everybody to sleep naked and have more sex.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: So yes, holy cow.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: We're gonna make a teaser for that one because you that is gonna really, everyone's gonna love that.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Like, I have to learn more about what this woman says.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: So I have a couple questions.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: The title, Evan, could be sleep naked, have more sex.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: And then everyone's gonna listen.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: Everyone's gonna listen.
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: Everyone is going to want to learn more.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: So to piggyback off of that, right?
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm a woman, I'm in menopause.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: Hormone health is like such a thing, right?
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Lack of hormones kills libido, it makes everybody dry.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: We talk about it all the time.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: I have guests all the time talking about hormone health, hormone replacement, all of that.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: How do you help people holistically deal with the fact that our bodies naturally don't produce estrogen, testosterone, or progesterone as we get older?
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: How do you help women like us that might not want to put themselves on hormone replacement therapy?
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, Gene.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: This is gonna be a big question.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: This is a little bit.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: So I had my first green drink exactly 40 years ago.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: I'm 58.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: I was 18 in college when I had my first green drink.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: And that's when I started learning about whole food and trajectory.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: I was about 21, 22.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I'm going to live this lifestyle.
- 37:55SPEAKER_01: So when I'm old, like I'm thinking 60s old, give me a break.
- 37:58SPEAKER_01: Anyhow, I'm gonna be able to stand there and say, this works.
- 38:01SPEAKER_01: So I'm just gonna let you know.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: I have been a plant-based eater.
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: I actually don't like meat.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: I never liked meat.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: So I mean, you can't pass off a really good beef brat, but you know, with all organic, you know, no nitrates, all organic.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: So it's, I mean, there's certain meat I eat.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: We have a half a cow in the fridge because we have a family farm in Arkansas and you can't have better beef at all everywhere.
- 38:19SPEAKER_01: I've got to start selling that.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: But anyhow, I don't eat meat.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: And I went through menopause years ago, didn't have a single hat flash, never even know what through menopause.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: I lubricate by looking at my husband.
- 38:30SPEAKER_01: I have no problem with libido, and I can firmly tell you and every one of your guests that this does work.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: For those of you who didn't have a plant lifestyle for the last 30 or 40 years, and now you're in menopause, I can very assuredly tell you change your diet, change your sleeping pattern.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: You are going to be able to lubricate again and balance your hormones.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: Ladies, your hormones are what your endocrine system makes.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: And you run into an endocrinologist, and the endocrinologist is not telling you a very simple and real truth.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: Your endocrine system, the entire endocrine system, is controlled by the nervous system.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: So you can stop right here.
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I don't have libido.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: I I can't, I'm not lubricating, I'm not making enough testosterone, I'm not making blah, blah, blah.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: Or you can go, oh, that's controlled by the nervous system.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: Time to go to the chiropractor, time to have acupuncture, time to have, you know, needless acupuncture.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: I don't care what you're doing.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: Stop settling for endocrine disruptors and endocrine issues.
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: I can talk about hormones, we can talk about endocrine disruptors.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: We can talk about all that, whatever you want to talk about, Gene.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: But number one thing will be get out of the mindset because you don't, if you start taking hormones right now, you will never make them again.
- 39:50SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm gonna put out there, there is a time and a place for hormone replacement.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: People have used that with great success.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: That's nice.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: But while you're doing that, fix your endocrine system.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: So your hormones be will mean naturally again.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: You want, I'm not, I'm 58, normal any single hormones ever.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: Ever.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: And don't have a thing.
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: Don't take anything, neurotransmitters.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: The only thing I've taken once in a while is GABA because I had level, I had epilepsy, which is a GABA deficiency.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: And so I'm also a GABA-driven woman.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: So there's no such thing as a personality test, by the way.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: You take them, but what they're actually testing for you is what?
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Your neurotransmitter altitude, right?
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: They're looking at what is your neurotransmitter that's firing the most.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: That's what gives you your personality.
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: So people don't realize that either.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: So yeah, your personality tests are actually neurotransmitter tests.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: And so a GABA-driven woman like myself, I need to make sure I always have enough GABA.
- 40:45SPEAKER_01: And that's all epilepsy was a GABA deficiency because GABA controls all the electricity in the human body.
- 40:51SPEAKER_01: And so for Tourette's and epilepsy and all the seizure disorders and shaking and extra Y chromosomes out there, you probably are deficient in GABA.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: And so understanding that the nervous system controls the endocrine system, number one place to start is acupuncture and chiropractic every month.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: It's absolutely life-changing.
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: It is literally life-changing.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: So, as far as hormone replacement theory, that, you know, we can get into people can people can use some temporary hormones.
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: We've got great herbs that will, like when we have a woman who isn't lubricating or doesn't have any libido, we we want to see where's her DHEA.
- 41:30SPEAKER_01: The DHEA is needed for every hormone.
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: Um, and I am a whole food person.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm whole food 100%.
- 41:37SPEAKER_01: So in my store, which is also online, but um, everything except two items is whole food.
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: I have two isolates.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: One is DHEA because your body makes it, but the human nature doesn't, nothing in nature does.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: Um, and so that is one thing we look at.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: And then maca, maca root is amazing.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: Maka root is always my go-to when there's a bunch of hormones that are out of balance.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: Then I go right to maca every single day having maca.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: But hi, one of our ladies who came, another one of the women who came uh to the retreat, her hormones that when she came, like, oh my gosh, she had so many hormonal issues.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: Do you know just in eight days of changing her diet, the hormonal shift was incredible?
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: Think of think just think, think, think.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: This is so exciting.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: So a hormone is made from material.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: So you have lysine and and tryptophan and glutamic acid and serene, and you have all you know, you have all these different glutamic acid, you have all these 22 different amino acids.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: Amino acids build your proteins, like letters build a word.
- 42:40SPEAKER_01: So gene, J-E-A-N.
- 42:42SPEAKER_01: So if I write a letter to my new friend Gene, dear Jean, please come to my retreat.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to have you.
- 42:48SPEAKER_01: Love Karen, right?
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: So if I don't have a J, then it's gonna be dear Ian.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: But if you get a letter and it's E-A-N, you're gonna go, this isn't for me.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: This is for Ian, my worker, right?
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: And you won't open it.
- 43:01SPEAKER_01: Like you have to have a J.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: That's how simple it is in the body.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: You must have all of your building blocks to make a neurotransmitter or a hormone.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: Um, and one of the men that came in for the retreat, he wasn't making enough HCL.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: So he was having acid reflex and heartburn.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: We can easily get rid of that, by the way, in like three days.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: But anyhow, but he wasn't making HCL because he was missing the amino acids that build hydrovaric acid, and he didn't have enough of the specific minerals he needed.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: So when we look at minerals and vitamins, which are cofactors, which make minerals work, and we look at amino acids and we look at fats, those all come together and they build stuff.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: They build your body.
- 43:42SPEAKER_01: So if you don't make enough of a hormone or you don't make enough GABA, if you don't make enough something, you can don't go.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, you can go take it if you want.
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: That's an easy fix, but do some research and let's figure out why I am not making this.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: And it could be literally as simple as not having four molecules of iodine and now you have hypothyroidism when all you need is iodine.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's it.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: So that's my soapbox.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: I think it's fascinating.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: And so thank you for that because I know I I I am on hormone replacement therapy.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: I know lots of people who are, but I also know lots of people who don't want to be on it.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: And I personally vacillate from you know, I take too much medicine, and wouldn't it be really great to find a way to not do that?
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: And, you know, one of these days I might end up in your retreat.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: The guests that we have, her episode is coming up.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: Up this week, and yours will come after hers.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: She is talking about breast cancer.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: And her number one way to prevent breast cancer is to eat a plant-based diet because she goes on and on and on on the show about how terrible meat is for you and how bad animal products are for your body and what happens, just like you did from a cellular level.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: And she is a hundred percent like that is one of the best things she says you can do for yourself as a human being is to stop eating animal products.
- 45:17SPEAKER_00: And so it was fascinating to hear her talk about the science behind all of that.
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: So I love that you've brought a lot of this up too, because your episode will come right after her.
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: So we have a theme here.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: We have a theme of incredibly intelligent women trying to tell us how to live longer and live better.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, so before we run out of time, if someone's listening to this or watching this and they're thinking, okay, I'm probably not doing a great job of taking care of my body.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: And if there were a couple things that they could start to do to improve that, what would you suggest people do?
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: Number one above anything else is let go of negativity and judgment and put your mind first.
- 46:05SPEAKER_01: So I don't care.
- 46:06SPEAKER_01: Like you can drink two quarts of water by two and you can go to a plant-based diet, blah, blah, blah.
- 46:10SPEAKER_01: None of that's gonna matter unless you believe that you can get well and you stop judging others and yourself because the judgment we have in the world today is making people so terribly sick and they don't realize how acidic they're getting just from their judgment.
- 46:26SPEAKER_01: Not everyone's gonna believe the same as you.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: Not everyone's gonna eat the same way you eat, and that's totally fine.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: Not everyone is going to believe politically like you believe.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: All of our beliefs are based on what we know, and what we know changes every time we go on social media, every time we read a book, every time we do anything at all, we are changing what we know, which means our beliefs are constantly changing.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: So if you are believing that you're right about pretty much everything and pretty much everyone else is wrong, number one, you're never gonna be healthy.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: You aren't.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: You are never gonna be healthy.
- 46:54SPEAKER_01: You're you're you aren't, and you're gonna be very lonely because no one wants to hang out with you because you're always right.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: And no one wants to be around someone who thinks you're always right.
- 47:00SPEAKER_01: Because no one can feel love from someone who's judging them.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: So all the judgment we put out on people for what they're wearing, what they eat, how they're walking, who they're hanging out with, what they believe politically, if they're gonna go to some protest, if they're not, if they're at a Trump rally, get over it.
- 47:18SPEAKER_01: Like, stop thinking you're so freaking right because you are never gonna get well.
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: Period.
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: So if you want to just be right, okay, you're over there, you there's no hope for you.
- 47:27SPEAKER_01: Well, be right.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: Like, so like let go of your self-righteous attitude because you're actually not right about everything.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: I'm not right about everything.
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: Gene is not right about everything, Evan isn't right.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: We're not all right about anything, and we're gonna change our beliefs based on what we know.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: Let me talk to you for four minutes about milk and dairy and you won't drink it ever again.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: Like, literally, but you don't know that because you don't know.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: So, beliefs are based on what you know.
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: So, if you can believe that you can be well, then you're gonna be well.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: Where focus goes, energy flows.
- 47:58SPEAKER_01: And if we focus on our cancer, yeah, it becomes our identity and you will have cancer the rest of your life and you'll die from it.
- 48:05SPEAKER_01: If you focus on, oh my gosh, my family left me.
- 48:09SPEAKER_01: I left the religion I raised my kids in, and now I can't see a bunch of my grandkids.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: And if that was my identity for, because that's what happened to me, right?
- 48:16SPEAKER_01: Left the religion I raised my kids in, lost a bunch of my kids, 12 of my grandchildren, it was devastating, right?
- 48:21SPEAKER_01: But if I focused on that my whole life, well, Lily Fields wouldn't be here.
- 48:25SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: That's not my identity.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: I love my children.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: They're doing what they feel is best.
- 48:30SPEAKER_01: What am I supposed to do?
- 48:31SPEAKER_01: Get eaten up by it the rest of my life?
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: No, that doesn't define who I am.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: We cannot let our circumstances define us.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: When people, I had a gentleman come there today, he's like, Oh my gosh, you could do so much for my wife.
- 48:43SPEAKER_01: She has MS.
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: I'm like, Yep, pretty much have helped 100% of people who have MS not have MS anymore.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: He's like, Oh, this will be great.
- 48:50SPEAKER_01: I'm like, Well, it kind of depends.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, she's had it for 30 years.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yeah, not really sure.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: He's like, Well, what?
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: If she does, if it's her identity, she's never gonna want to get rid of it.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: How many people have I helped with fibromyalgia or something else and they get perfectly well and they're playing volleyball and their family's being, you know, is all healthy and well, and they get pregnant and then they miss all the attention.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: So they go right back to all their old ways and they're stuck with fibromyalgia and the kids are born sick and give me a break, you know.
- 49:16SPEAKER_01: So our identity is because where our focus goes, energy flows.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: So stop judgment, start loving other people, even if they're not perfect like you, and like believe you can get well.
- 49:27SPEAKER_01: I don't mean to be so drastic on that, but this is a drastic time of people thinking they're right all the time and not allowing others to just be themselves.
- 49:35SPEAKER_01: So I am a little stronger on that.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: I see it with a lot of my clients.
- 49:38SPEAKER_01: And all dis-ease, which is all disease is a dis-ease of the cell is triggered emotionally before it appears physically.
- 49:47SPEAKER_01: And so focus, focus, focus on good, focus on love, focus on healing, focus on yourself, focus on light, and it'll always wash out the darkness.
- 49:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: Well, which is such a beautiful way to begin to close this because you talked in the very beginning about holistically talking about mind, body, and spirit.
- 50:05SPEAKER_00: And we didn't have enough time to dig a ton into that.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: But I am a true believer that it's not just about your body.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: Your mind plays such an important role in your health and your well-being, and spirit does as well.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: And so having faith and having trust and recognizing that we're all just energetic beings can also play a really important role in giving people the faith that they need or the trust that they need that they can get better.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: So I thank you for saying that.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, before I let you go, because I've taken so much of your time and I could talk to you for hours.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: Is there anything?
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know there's so many subjects we could cover, but is there anything that you feel is so pressing that we have to make sure you talk about that you haven't talked about, that you want to make sure is like the exclamation point at the end of this interview, and you want to make sure you get it out.
- 50:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, probably that you're worth it.
- 50:55SPEAKER_01: Like a lot of people wake up and you look at everything in front of you that day or what's going on traumatically in your life, or in this crazy world, and you're actually the most important thing right now is taking care of you.
- 51:09SPEAKER_01: So bringing that oxygen down and taking a deep breath for your own soul, because without you, those little creatures that love you, the called your animals, or your grandchildren, which I guess could also be called animals, but like whatever it is around you, like you're a life force.
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: And when our life force starts to diminish, everything around us can diminish.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: We're doing a documentary, we've been doing putting together a documentary over the last many years.
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: The last video shoot of the documentary is this weekend.
- 51:41SPEAKER_01: And I can't wait.
- 51:42SPEAKER_01: Might even get emotional.
- 51:43SPEAKER_01: The entire documentary is on what can happen in the world when one person never loses faith and doesn't ever, ever stop believing that something great can happen.
- 51:55SPEAKER_01: This is a very, very inspiring documentary with blow-your-mind stories, right?
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: But it starts, the last scene is we have all these people coming for a big picnic in our backyard, some family, some friends, some clients.
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: And the last scene, and this is the scene of all of your lives.
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: So think about this.
- 52:14SPEAKER_01: The last scene is the drone, which is shooting on me.
- 52:18SPEAKER_01: And then my daughter comes into the picture, Amy, with holistic health educator.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: So she works directly with me all the time.
- 52:23SPEAKER_01: My husband comes in, her sweetheart comes in.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: Some of our family comes in, some of our good friends come in, and the drone is pulling out while a photographer is kind of gathering people out of the pool, off of the volleyball net, away from all the games we have set up, right?
- 52:37SPEAKER_01: Our basketball court, and they're all coming together for this family picture.
- 52:42SPEAKER_01: Because my favorite quote, and I came up with this when I lost some of my family when I left the church.
- 52:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:50SPEAKER_01: Was relatives share your blood.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: Family shares your life.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:57SPEAKER_01: So we come together for this family picture.
- 53:00SPEAKER_01: The drone is continuing to zoom out, right?
- 53:02SPEAKER_01: So now we're getting all the property, and then thousands of pictures of my friends and my students and my family from around the world come up onto the screen, one by one, by one, by one, by one.
- 53:14SPEAKER_01: And you can send your picture in.
- 53:15SPEAKER_01: We'd love to have it.
- 53:16SPEAKER_01: So I'm one by one by one by one, because one person, and that's you, you don't have an e idea how many people you affect every day.
- 53:24SPEAKER_01: You do not know who you're inspiring.
- 53:26SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: And so as you look at your life, you've affected so many people, but you can't affect them for good if you're thinking bad.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: If what comes out of your mouth is bad, right?
- 53:40SPEAKER_01: And negative.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: So trying to flip that switch to optimism and positivity can happen one very easy way.
- 53:51SPEAKER_01: Change what you're eating better, change what you're thinking better, and change what you're putting on your skin.
- 53:58SPEAKER_01: Because everything vibrates.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: And when we eat higher vibrational foods, living raw food, when we put we use essential oils instead of perfumes, when we raise the frequency of the people we hang out with, right?
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, all of a sudden we become a light and your life will change.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: So it's not overwhelming or hard to do.
- 54:19SPEAKER_01: You can simply start by eating an organic raw apple every day.
- 54:22SPEAKER_01: And then you can add a salad every day.
- 54:25SPEAKER_01: Then you can add some sprouts on your salad and some avocado and sauerkraut.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden, you're going to be feeling better, happier.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: You're drinking more water than coffee.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: Like life just changed with that change.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden, our life all of a sudden becomes much more meaningful.
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 54:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, that is beautiful.
- 54:43SPEAKER_00: Well, I can't wait to see the documentary.
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: Karen, I thank you so much.
- 54:47SPEAKER_00: I'm going to put so much in the show notes.
- 54:49SPEAKER_00: So everybody make sure you go.
- 54:50SPEAKER_00: I'm going to put all the links to you, your retreat, your website, your products, you on Instagram.
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: You're incredible on Instagram, by the way.
- 54:57SPEAKER_00: Everyone needs to go and follow you.
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: You share how I watched the other day about how to make sauerkraut and then I put sauerkraut on my salad because I was like, I don't know that I'm making it from scratch, but I definitely haven't had sauerkraut enough.
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: And let me go put some on my salad.
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: And you really show how easy it is to really make whole, healthy, simple to make foods that are just really good for you.
- 55:17SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to encourage everybody to go out and follow you.
- 55:19SPEAKER_00: So I thank you so much, Karen.
- 55:21SPEAKER_00: You were amazing.
- 55:22SPEAKER_00: Please tell your daughter Amy that I'm sorry I didn't get to meet her, but hopefully I can talk to her at some point in time.
- 55:27SPEAKER_00: I will follow her on Instagram as well.
- 55:29SPEAKER_00: And I thank you for your light and your passion and your knowledge that you've shared with everyone.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: It's been a true honor to meet you.
- 55:35SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 55:36SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Miss Jean.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: Thanks for having me on.
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: And you will eat up Amy.
- 55:40SPEAKER_01: So you will just love her.
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: She's a she's a spitfire.
- 55:42SPEAKER_01: She's lots of fun.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: She seems like she is.
- 55:45SPEAKER_00: Apple doesn't fall far from the tree there.
- 55:47SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: We'll definitely stay in touch.
